00:00:33.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:33.000 Here we go.
00:00:35.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:37.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:39.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:42.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:46.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:47.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:48.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:56.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:04.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:08.000 Brought to you by the loan experts I trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTod.com.
00:01:14.000 One of the most important things we can do before we come up with a plan is we have to realize what we're up against.
00:01:26.000 There's so much research to be done, so much research to be done about the tech companies, the oligarchs, the changing of laws, and something that has been staring us in the face.
00:01:37.000 And there's been a fair amount of surface level reporting.
00:01:41.000 Is how 501c3s, something I'm very familiar with, are being used to assist the Democrat takeover of the country.
00:01:51.000 Now, we run a 501c3, which is strictly educational.
00:01:56.000 Anything that is for social welfare or political goes through turning point action or turning point PAC.
00:02:03.000 A new report by Parker Thayer shows how charities secretly help win elections.
00:02:09.000 This is extremely comprehensive.
00:02:12.000 It's nearly 35 pages.
00:02:14.000 He's an investigative reporter, researcher, Capital Research Center, and I believe a graduate of America's greatest college, Hillsdale College, which explains why this report is so well put together.
00:02:24.000 Parker, welcome to the program.
00:02:26.000 Thank you so much for having me, Charlie.
00:02:27.000 You did go to Hillsdale, is that right?
00:02:29.000 I did go to Hillsdale.
00:02:31.000 Makes sense.
00:02:32.000 Okay, Parker, so walk us through this.
00:02:34.000 I've read the entire report, I saw it on Twitter last night.
00:02:36.000 I immediately texted our team and I said we need to go through this.
00:02:40.000 Let's first start with the 501 component of this.
00:02:43.000 Because by law, 501c3s are not allowed to engage in political activity.
00:02:48.000 What did your research find?
00:02:49.000 Yeah, so just kind of a quick rundown for anyone who might not understand what a 501c3 is that's listening.
00:02:54.000 501c3s are charities, nonprofit organizations that have tax exempt status from the IRS.
00:02:59.000 Think of your local church.
00:03:01.000 That's a 501c3.
00:03:02.000 Like Charlie said, Turning Point USA, that's a 501c3.
00:03:05.000 Hillsdale College.
00:03:06.000 Yeah, Hillsdale College.
00:03:07.000 There you go.
00:03:08.000 Another excellent 501c3.
00:03:10.000 What these 501c3s were doing that I found early years ago, this is the result of years of research.
00:03:17.000 I found a Organization called the Voter Registration Project, taking in tens of millions of dollars every single year and distributing them to various state level 501c3s that were doing exclusively voter registration.
00:03:31.000 I dug around.
00:03:32.000 I couldn't find any information about this.
00:03:34.000 Nobody had talked about it.
00:03:35.000 The media didn't talk about it.
00:03:36.000 Nobody even seemed to know it existed.
00:03:38.000 And as I kept digging, I kept finding more interesting things.
00:03:40.000 Eventually, I found emails on WikiLeaks from John Podesta's leaked emails back in 2015 that showed that this organization, going by the name of the Everybody Votes campaign, which they didn't really share publicly until almost 2021, had been designed as a scheme essentially to guarantee a Democratic presidential victory in 2020.
00:04:01.000 They were aiming to register millions of people in swing states and target only the demographics that were beneficial to Democrats.
00:04:08.000 So, the Everybody Votes campaign is a scheme sent to John Podesta ahead of the 2016 presidential campaign.
00:04:15.000 And you detail the, first of all, the amount of money is $120 million.
00:04:20.000 I think it's even more than that, but you're careful of just what you're able to prove.
00:04:23.000 Is that right, Parker?
00:04:25.000 I mean, this is all, I can't even tell you, CRC, we pride ourselves on doing excellent fact based research.
00:04:25.000 Yeah.
00:04:31.000 You guys do.
00:04:32.000 This has gone through so many rounds of editing from very skeptical editors.
00:04:35.000 $120 million in the 2020 cycle.
00:04:38.000 They've raised more than that to date, but that's, you know, this is very provable, and it's from all of the worst lefty billionaires and dark money organizations you can imagine.
00:04:48.000 So, based on your research, these 501c3s that are prohibited from political activity, do you believe that they are, let's just say, pushing the boundaries andor outwardly violating the non political rule from the Internal Revenue Service for a 501c3?
00:05:02.000 If there was a line over what they could do, which the IRS doesn't seem to enforce at all, but if there was a line, they crossed it very long ago.
00:05:10.000 The IRS website says that these voter registration campaigns are prohibited from being partisan in either intent or effect.
00:05:18.000 And I was able to prove both.
00:05:20.000 According to the estimates which we ran, based on leaked documents in these Podesta emails and from other sources, this campaign generated somewhere in the range of one to two million votes for Democrats in the 2020 cycle.
00:05:36.000 One to two million votes in Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia.
00:05:39.000 But let's be more specific.
00:05:41.000 Florida, I don't think they spent as much money.
00:05:43.000 It's mostly Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan.
00:05:48.000 Is that correct?
00:05:50.000 Michigan, a little less so, but yeah.
00:05:53.000 These are, it's exclusively swing states.
00:05:55.000 They weren't, the campaign is called Everybody Votes.
00:05:57.000 They didn't care about everybody's vote.
00:06:00.000 They only cared about swing state votes and only the votes that would benefit the Democrats.
00:06:04.000 Yeah, if it was everybody votes, why weren't they doing voter registration in Louisiana?
00:06:07.000 They were doing it for people in Alaska.
00:06:09.000 They weren't in Oklahoma.
00:06:09.000 Yeah.
00:06:11.000 Yeah, I mean, so this is, I want to read part of your report.
00:06:13.000 By the way, this is what people say Charlie, you know, where do you spend your money?
00:06:17.000 I love Capital Research Center.
00:06:19.000 All these DC think tanks, most of them are a waste of time.
00:06:21.000 This is a report that will, that will, Result in good things because now we have the data, right?
00:06:27.000 No more guessing.
00:06:28.000 So I'm going to read this.
00:06:29.000 This is.
00:06:29.000 House Ways and Means Committee.
00:06:30.000 Yeah.
00:06:31.000 No, I saw that and I have some feedback.
00:06:35.000 They got to be careful to make sure those rules aren't wrongly enforced against the right, but that's a separate issue.
00:06:40.000 But no, I saw Schweikert's letter.
00:06:42.000 It's mostly good.
00:06:44.000 By the way, before I read this, in Schweikert's letter, foreign people might be funding this stuff.
00:06:49.000 Is that correct?
00:06:50.000 People like Hansard Wies, if you've heard of him.
00:06:50.000 Exactly.
00:06:52.000 Yeah, the Swiss guy.
00:06:53.000 He's this $4 billion.
00:06:55.000 Crazy person from Switzerland who is funding 501c4s as well, right?
00:07:00.000 Parker, not just C3s.
00:07:01.000 We'll get to the C4 in a second.
00:07:03.000 Yeah, he's the left's dirty little secret.
00:07:05.000 They don't want anyone talking about it.
00:07:06.000 Exactly right.
00:07:07.000 Tell us about him.
00:07:07.000 No, no, riff on that.
00:07:09.000 Oh, yeah.
00:07:09.000 So Hans-Arg Wies, he made his money as the, I believe, president and CEO of a company named Synths USA.
00:07:16.000 They got in a lot of trouble for running illegal medical experiments.
00:07:19.000 But he made millions of dollars and was then, I think, billions of dollars even, and was eventually, around 2009, caught making illegal experiments.
00:07:28.000 Campaign contributions to Democrats, even though he was not a US citizen, doesn't even have a green card according to his SEC filings.
00:07:36.000 But he uses these 501c3s and 501c4s that we're talking about to put tens of millions of dollars into U.S. politics in unbelievable ways every single year.
00:07:45.000 He does not have a U.S. passport, just so everyone is clear.
00:07:48.000 This guy is not a green card holder.
00:07:49.000 He doesn't have a U.S. passport.
00:07:51.000 He's a foreigner who pumps money into domestic 501c3s, 501c4 organizations, hundreds of millions of dollars, correct, over the last decade?
00:08:01.000 Well, and wouldn't you know it, this guy's foundation, that email I talked about where I found this initially from Podesta, this guy's foundation, Hansard Visas Foundation, Was the one who initially sent him this idea for the VRP in the first place.
00:08:01.000 Yeah.
00:08:13.000 Extraordinary.
00:08:14.000 And you're the only one that I've seen that has connected the Podesta stuff.
00:08:17.000 By the way, Podesta just so happens to be running a press conference today.
00:08:21.000 So I want to read this.
00:08:22.000 This is the tough research.
00:08:23.000 Again, this is public, but this takes hundreds of hours of consolidation.
00:08:28.000 The Billionaire Club comes from Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, the private foundation of Warren Buffett, $5 million.
00:08:36.000 Foundation to promote an open society endowed by George Soros, over $10 million.
00:08:41.000 Then register America as a 501c4.
00:08:43.000 Now, 501c4, they're more in safe harbor for political involvement and social welfare.
00:08:48.000 But you have the Civic Participation Action Fund, the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation for deceased billionaire founder, the JBB Foundation, PB Foundation for billionaire Barbara Pickauer and her late husband.
00:09:02.000 Go on and on and on.
00:09:03.000 You have pages of this.
00:09:05.000 It's striking how the party, allegedly of the little guy, has so many billionaire oligarchs pumping millions of dollars of dark money into it.
00:09:13.000 Yeah.
00:09:14.000 These 501c3s are the left's, you know, they're their artillery battery that's just sitting back there delivering unbelievable amounts of money to the left's causes.
00:09:24.000 According to the CRC studies, the studies that we've done of the spending in these 501c3 areas where billionaires, private foundations, and things like that are putting money into politics, you know, the left's 501c3 power, money wise, outnumbers the right almost three to one.
00:09:39.000 Yes.
00:09:40.000 This is where the money is really moving in American politics.
00:09:43.000 This is what's so important, everybody.
00:09:45.000 And By the way, they always project, right?
00:09:48.000 So ProPublica, a bunch of interesting people, they wrote a piece on Turning Point USA.
00:09:53.000 Yeah, they wrote a piece on us three years ago, trying to insinuate that we weren't following 501c3.
00:09:59.000 Not true, right?
00:10:00.000 But they go hostilely aggressive against anything on the right.
00:10:04.000 By the way, we do stuff on high school and college campuses, strictly education, all that stuff.
00:10:07.000 And we have a C4.
00:10:09.000 And yet they won't even lift a finger to look into this.
00:10:12.000 And so let's talk about the consultant part of this.
00:10:15.000 Tell us about it.
00:10:16.000 So, around 2020, I believe the number was about $20 million, if I'm remembering correctly.
00:10:22.000 The VRP, or also known as the Everybody Votes Campaign, which is this 501c3 we've been talking about, dumped millions of dollars into what are basically just Democratic consultants to do supposedly nonpartisan voter registration work.
00:10:34.000 How that works with a Democratic consultant that works for the DNC and the DSCC is doing nonpartisan voter registration consulting, I don't really know.
00:10:45.000 But one of those consultants that's been in the news lately is GBI.
00:10:47.000 Strategies, which got in some trouble in Michigan recently.
00:10:49.000 I don't know if you've heard about that.
00:10:51.000 We covered it.
00:10:51.000 Oh, we did.
00:10:52.000 Yeah.
00:10:53.000 Yeah.
00:10:54.000 GBI Strategies, the only person who paid them more than the VRP was the DSCC, as far as I can find, which is the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the heart of the Democratic Party.
00:11:05.000 The VRP was second most at $2.5 million in 2020 for voter registration consulting.
00:11:11.000 And we know that the VRP was working and active in Michigan because they gave to other organizations in Michigan as well.
00:11:18.000 So, these organizations obviously have a political intent, and you put here on page 16 how charities secretly help win elections sophisticated, planned, and partisan.
00:11:29.000 Assembled here for the first time, the evidence shows that the Everybody Votes campaign was the largest, most partisan, charitable voter registration effort in American history.
00:11:38.000 Is this now happening again in 2024?
00:11:40.000 Have they slowed down?
00:11:41.000 Absolutely.
00:11:43.000 They already have hired employees.
00:11:44.000 They have 30 employees.
00:11:45.000 I think the new director is the former director of the Wisconsin Democratic Party.
00:11:50.000 They are ready for 2024.
00:11:52.000 They're already hiring up that we know of.
00:11:55.000 By the way, the other part of this, Parker, as you know, they'll domicile a C3 and then collapse it and then do another one.
00:12:01.000 By the time the 990s are filed, they're gone.
00:12:04.000 Yep.
00:12:05.000 And you wouldn't believe how much trouble I had trying to find their office.
00:12:08.000 Because some of them, they put up this Potemkin village.
00:12:08.000 Right.
00:12:12.000 They'll do it for an election cycle, similar to the Center for Technology and Civic Life, a 501c3 that Mark Zuckerberg put $400 million in.
00:12:19.000 That received all the attention.
00:12:20.000 This is actually even more clandestine than what Zuckerberg did.
00:12:26.000 Do you know that the average American spends about 20 years in retirement?
00:12:30.000 That's a long time to live without a steady income.
00:12:32.000 And we want to make sure you enjoy every moment of it and don't outlive your money.
00:12:36.000 Retirement is about more than just investments.
00:12:39.000 It's about living your best life.
00:12:40.000 Let's not retire.
00:12:42.000 My friends at Pax Financial, who I use for my wealth management future, develop a course for the sole purpose of helping you pivot.
00:12:42.000 Let's pivot.
00:12:50.000 If you want your own free guide to pivoting into the new chapter of Life with Purpose, visit paxfg.comslash Charlie.
00:12:58.000 That is P A X F G.comslash Charlie.
00:13:02.000 Paxfg.comslash Charlie.
00:13:07.000 Parker, walk us through the timeline.
00:13:09.000 Yeah.
00:13:10.000 So back in 2015, John Podesta was receiving emails from Hans Org Wies' foundation.
00:13:15.000 He's a non American Swiss billionaire, not a citizen.
00:13:18.000 And his foundation is bouncing around ideas for how they can help civic participation among minority communities.
00:13:25.000 What they really mean is how they can help Democrats vote.
00:13:28.000 And the way I know this is because in the documents that they sent, they had catalogs of how they could break up and get out non white, that's the exact words they used, non white votes in swing states.
00:13:39.000 They had charts and tables, and they counted up the votes like they were counting livestock.
00:13:44.000 And then they proceeded to develop this plan.
00:13:46.000 It went through a few phases of development and eventually got the name the Everybody Votes Campaign.
00:13:51.000 It starts getting money in 2016.
00:13:52.000 They're raking in tens of millions of dollars a year and starting to send out voter registration money to organizations in eight key swing states around the country.
00:14:01.000 And eventually, under the name Everybody Votes Campaign, it gets around to who of all people?
00:14:06.000 But Sam Bankman Fried's mom.
00:14:08.000 Sam Bankman Fried's mom runs a pack called Mind the Gap.
00:14:12.000 They sent this memo about the Everybody Votes campaign out to all of their billionaire donors in Silicon Valley and elsewhere.
00:14:19.000 And they told their donors, don't waste your time giving money to PACs and political campaigns and candidates.
00:14:25.000 That's useless.
00:14:26.000 Give it to these 501c3s instead because they're way more effective.
00:14:30.000 In fact, the number was four to 10 times more cost effective at generating net additional Democratic votes when compared to PACs and candidates.
00:14:38.000 What message is this that you found where they said this?
00:14:41.000 Yeah.
00:14:42.000 So this is a memo from a Pack called Mind the Gap, which is Sam Bankman Fried's mom's pack.
00:14:48.000 So the pack is saying give to C3s instead.
00:14:52.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:14:53.000 They sent a memo to all their donors and it got leaked by an excellent reporter called Teddy Schleifer.
00:14:57.000 Apologies if I mispronounced that name.
00:14:59.000 He found this memo and it basically showed Mind the Gap telling all their donors these C3s are the most effective things Democrats have to win the presidential election and encourage them to give generously to it, but also to keep it a complete secret.
00:15:12.000 And it remained a secret until about yesterday when the report came out about it.
00:15:17.000 It would be interesting if a Republican AG would look at this.
00:15:20.000 Are there any laws that are being broken here outside of federal, you know, charitable guidelines?
00:15:26.000 As with most campaign finance things, it's very, very dubious.
00:15:29.000 The IRS has rules that say that nonprofit organizations doing voter registration aren't allowed to be partisan in either effect or intent.
00:15:37.000 So even if they didn't intend to and they had the effect of producing a partisan result with their voter registration efforts, that would be, you know, presumably crossing the line.
00:15:48.000 Now, the IRS has turned a blind eye to this stuff for a super long time.
00:15:52.000 If you recall, Obama's first job was community organizer for Project Vote, which did the same thing.
00:15:57.000 Stacey Abrams.
00:15:59.000 The New Georgia Project, which got in trouble for violating these laws, actually, her first job was also a voter registration organization.
00:16:06.000 You have this memo from Mind the Gap to Silicon Valley donors explaining how the Everybody Votes campaign achieves its goal.
00:16:14.000 This is in 2018.
00:16:16.000 And then, just by coincidence, Parker, COVID happens and mass mail in voting occurs.
00:16:23.000 So they have this incredibly well funded infrastructure.
00:16:26.000 Let me ask the question in a specific way Did it benefit?
00:16:30.000 The Democrat Party's investments in these 501c3s to go towards mass mail and voting?
00:16:36.000 I think you could certainly say it did.
00:16:39.000 They did report that there were some difficulties involved with trying to get people to go out and knock on doors, but I think the net effect was very positive.
00:16:47.000 Did the scheme work?
00:16:49.000 Yes.
00:16:50.000 By our estimates, it produced about a million, somewhere in the range of a million to two million votes.
00:16:55.000 And that's using their own numbers, their own complex studies that they hired consulting firms to put together.
00:16:59.000 So are C3s bragging that they got a desired political outcome?
00:17:04.000 You know, that's the interesting thing.
00:17:06.000 The whole time they were doing this, they didn't say a word.
00:17:09.000 They didn't say a word about what they were doing.
00:17:11.000 They were very quiet about it.
00:17:12.000 And you'd think, hey, if they're a nonprofit who's proud of the work they're doing and they're proud of all the minority voices that they're lifting up and registering, maybe they would have told somebody about it.
00:17:21.000 But they didn't.
00:17:22.000 In fact, they instructed people to keep it secret.
00:17:24.000 It says a lot about them, I think.
00:17:26.000 For those of you that don't know, 501c3s can receive tax deductions and they can receive foundation money, donor advised funding.
00:17:34.000 Capital gains is deferred if you donate stock.
00:17:37.000 And so they go to these oligarchs and they actually get a tax advantage to then involve themselves to destroy the country.
00:17:44.000 It allows the left to spend smartly and more.
00:17:48.000 Parker Thayer, How Charities Secretly Help Win Elections.
00:17:51.000 Incredibly important research piece.

00:18:54.000 One of the things that we do here on this program is we read the room.
00:18:58.000 We receive thousands of emails, freedom at charleykirk.com.
00:19:01.000 So I have a pretty good sense of where the conservative movement is, what you're feeling, what you're thinking, who you're supporting.
00:19:10.000 This Fulton County indictment.
00:19:12.000 It might be the straw that broke the camel's back.
00:19:15.000 It might be the final line that was crossed.
00:19:17.000 But this one is resonating differently with the bass.
00:19:21.000 It might be a tipping point.
00:19:24.000 Oh, there's a fair amount of anger.
00:19:27.000 But amongst leaders that I'm talking about, there is a widespread attitude of exhaustion.
00:19:35.000 Exhaustion at best, demoralization at worst, surrender even.
00:19:41.000 And the Democrats, I believe, are doing this intentionally.
00:19:44.000 First, they want to chill political activism, front page of the New York Times.
00:19:48.000 They want you to be afraid that if you petition your government, you might end up on the front page of the New York Times as an indicted felon.
00:19:56.000 Maybe facing minimum five years in prison under a RICO statute.
00:20:01.000 All orchestrated, all planned.
00:20:03.000 And so that's the issue of hope, isn't it?
00:20:06.000 This is why you must get your spiritual disciplines in order, first and foremost.
00:20:11.000 Politics is not the most important thing.
00:20:14.000 Despite my critics in the so called Christian world, they say, oh, Charlie only cares about politics.
00:20:18.000 That's not true.
00:20:20.000 The eternal questions are more important than the political questions.
00:20:23.000 I wish that conservatives took politics as seriously as I have suggested.
00:20:29.000 But also, conservatives can take politics too seriously.
00:20:33.000 If you allow it to be your identity, if you get into a place of depression and deep sadness, if we don't win back the White House in 2024, which I am going to do everything I possibly can to do through turning point action and voter registration and turning point PAC and chasing ballots, we are going to do everything we possibly can.
00:20:54.000 But understand that we're the underdog.
00:20:56.000 There is a greater chance than not that the regime is going to win.
00:21:01.000 Anybody who tells you differently is lying to you.
00:21:04.000 Is it a 0% chance?
00:21:05.000 No.
00:21:05.000 I don't know what the odds are.
00:21:07.000 Remember, we don't fight because we know we will win.
00:21:11.000 We fight because it's the right thing to do.
00:21:13.000 We fight out of obedience.
00:21:16.000 We'll continue to fight no matter what.
00:21:18.000 Why?
00:21:18.000 Because we have faith in the ultimate victory and out of obedience to the divine and to fight for beautiful things, to fight for your kids and your grandkids.
00:21:25.000 I don't fear for myself or our turning point ranks.
00:21:28.000 We're going to keep growing and fighting.
00:21:30.000 My number one fear right now is not the Department of Justice.
00:21:37.000 It's not even Fannie Willis.
00:21:39.000 It's not the oligarchs, the tech companies, the Chinese Communist Party.
00:21:42.000 It certainly isn't Putin, what a joke.
00:21:44.000 It's not even the cartels.
00:21:45.000 Do you know what my number one fear is right now?
00:21:47.000 And I'm reading the room, I'm telling you, my fear is our side has given up.
00:21:52.000 Not you.
00:21:53.000 You know, you're a dedicated audience member.
00:21:55.000 You got to hear me out here.
00:21:56.000 I wouldn't say this if I wasn't seeing it.
00:21:59.000 I'm seeing the early stages of a retreat of Charlie, what's it going to take for this to get better?
00:22:05.000 Wrong premise.
00:22:08.000 There's a great quote by an entrepreneur I really respect who I got to know well before he passed away.
00:22:14.000 And in his office were three words.
00:22:17.000 It's how he got wealthy get rich slowly.
00:22:21.000 And I asked him, I said, what's the premise behind this?
00:22:23.000 He said, Charlie, you just have to slowly build towards what you want.
00:22:27.000 It's not going to happen overnight.
00:22:29.000 Compounding wealth and compounding wins.
00:22:34.000 My warning and my word of caution to you, conservatives this is not going to happen quickly.
00:22:39.000 It'll be generations before you get close to the country you recognize.
00:22:43.000 And that's a message many conservatives don't want to hear, but it is the truth.
00:22:47.000 Joining us now is Bernie Moreno, who's running for Senate in Ohio.
00:22:51.000 Doing a great job.
00:22:52.000 Bernie Moreno calls for immediate action after bogus Trump indictments.
00:22:56.000 We have endorsed Bernie from Turning Point Action.
00:22:58.000 Bernie, thank you for joining the program.
00:23:00.000 Tell us about your plan.
00:23:01.000 Well, thank you for having me, Charlie.
00:23:03.000 I think it's pretty straightforward.
00:23:05.000 I think there's just a lot of Republican voters out there that are fed up.
00:23:08.000 With the inaction on the Republican side.
00:23:10.000 I mean, what's happening to President Trump is a complete disgrace.
00:23:14.000 Quite frankly, if this was happening in a foreign country, if another country was doing these types of things to its former elected, newly elected leader, we would cut off foreign aid.
00:23:26.000 So it shouldn't be happening in America.
00:23:27.000 It's five simple things that have to happen.
00:23:30.000 Number one, we begin impeachment hearings against Joe Biden.
00:23:34.000 It's clear that he's the most corrupt president in American history.
00:23:37.000 Number two, we begin impeachment hearings on Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray.
00:23:41.000 What that will allow us to do is find out what's really going on in the Justice Department.
00:23:46.000 Because through the impeachment process, we'll get the actual data and evidence.
00:23:50.000 Number three is we have to use the power of the purse in the House of Representatives and the Senate to really make certain that we're defunding these agencies that are weaponizing our government's judicial system.
00:24:02.000 Number four, we have to stop allowing these judicial nominees to go through the Senate because unless they start putting actual constitutional people in there and not these extreme advocates.
00:24:16.000 And number five, fully support what Senator JD Vance is doing, which is To stop the DOJ nominations until the Department of Justice stops weaponizing that department against President Trump and other U.S. citizens.
00:24:31.000 I support all of these.
00:24:32.000 Let's play a piece of tape here just to kind of show how radical things have become.
00:24:37.000 And I think that Newt Gingrich frames it perfectly.
00:24:40.000 Play cut 30, please.
00:24:42.000 If you read Andy McCarthy's remarkable book, Ball of Collusion, which came out in 2019, he makes very clear that it is Barack Obama.
00:24:54.000 Who corrupts the Justice Department.
00:24:56.000 It is Hillary Clinton who routinely breaks the law and gets away with it.
00:25:02.000 And now we have Joe Biden who's learned.
00:25:04.000 He's learned from Obama that it doesn't matter what you do, if you're a liberal Democrat, you will not be prosecuted.
00:25:11.000 He learned from Hillary that a person in high public office can get millions and millions of dollars.
00:25:18.000 And they learned from watching Donald Trump that a true outsider, Willing to take on the entire system could destroy their entire machine.
00:25:29.000 Now, Bernie, I'm sure you're hearing from grassroots folks as you travel the state of Ohio to become the next senator, which we're totally in support of, anger and outrage.
00:25:38.000 Connect that with kind of the sentiment of Newt Gingrich, your reaction.
00:25:42.000 Yeah, I mean, the reality is we live in a country.
00:25:45.000 I came to a country that has one blind justice system, not two tiers, not a two tiered system.
00:25:51.000 That's what we're seeing.
00:25:52.000 So, what I hear all over Ohio, I've driven 32,000 miles in the last four months in every corner of Ohio.
00:25:58.000 Is complete outrage.
00:25:59.000 This is not the country that we expect it to be.
00:26:02.000 We need to have a country where law and order and our justice system works.
00:26:07.000 And they're extraordinarily frustrated that not only do we have this corrupt president in the White House, but we have to a large extent Republicans in the Congress that are failing to act.
00:26:18.000 That's what's really getting them.
00:26:19.000 You know, they didn't vote for Democrats, they voted for Republicans.
00:26:23.000 But where is the action coming from Republicans?
00:26:26.000 It's a lot of talk and not a lot of action.
00:26:28.000 And so let's focus on this one.
00:26:31.000 Number three, use the power of the purse to defund the witch hunts against former President Trump.
00:26:36.000 There's a CR coming up, and whispers are that the Speaker of the House and the Senate are going to come together in a deal to have a clean CR.
00:26:46.000 If you were a senator, would you stand up against this and demand that before we fund the government, we are going to defund the rogue prosecutor, Jack Smith?
00:26:56.000 Oh, absolutely.
00:26:57.000 I mean, that's what our founders envisioned three co equal branches of government.
00:27:02.000 The Congress, Article I, is maybe a little bit more equal than the others.
00:27:05.000 Control the purse, control the money.
00:27:08.000 We're the stewards of the U.S. taxpayer.
00:27:10.000 And we should not be using taxpayer dollars for Joe Biden to interfere with our elections and try to knock out his most ardent opponent, a person who clearly is going to be the nominee of the Republican Party, who clearly will beat him next year.
00:27:24.000 He's using taxpayer dollars to go after him, causing him to have to spend enormous amounts of money to defend himself instead of being able to use that money to run his campaign.
00:27:35.000 I agree.
00:27:36.000 So let's play another piece of tape here.
00:27:38.000 Just to kind of reemphasize the radical nature of all of this and why we need to support Bernie Moreno's quest to become the next senator of Ohio and defeat Sherrod Brown, who couldn't care less about the weaponization of government.
00:27:55.000 Let's play this just to kind of motivate the audience.
00:28:00.000 Hillary Clinton is laughing.
00:28:02.000 Play Cut 48.
00:28:04.000 One of the things that we have learned by living it in these past few years is that.
00:28:08.000 Democracy needs the trust of the people.
00:28:11.000 That's right.
00:28:12.000 That the system of democracy at its heart is the idea that the people get to decide how we are governed.
00:28:18.000 The deliberate effort to divide Americans, to lie to Americans about what was going on literally in front of their own eyes, what happened on January 6th, don't believe what you saw, believe what I tell you.
00:28:33.000 Those are all the hallmarks of authoritarian, dictatorial kinds of leaders.
00:28:41.000 Here they are.
00:28:41.000 She's going on cable television taunting us.
00:28:44.000 And by the way, the people of Ohio, they repudiated Hillary Clinton.
00:28:48.000 They wanted nothing to do with her.
00:28:50.000 Bernie Marino.
00:28:51.000 Well, thank God for 2016.
00:28:53.000 Can you imagine if that lunatic was the president of the United States at any point in time?
00:28:57.000 The reality is, what you just saw was the greatest act of deflection you could ever see.
00:29:02.000 Everything she's talking about, she's talking about what they have in mind on the Democrat side.
00:29:07.000 Joe Biden has had four executive orders that have been ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
00:29:14.000 Four.
00:29:14.000 I don't think any president's ever had that.
00:29:17.000 He's had us in these wars all over the world.
00:29:20.000 Ukraine's a disaster.
00:29:21.000 Virtually every place on earth is.
00:29:23.000 He has this generationally high inflation.
00:29:26.000 He's attacked American energy.
00:29:28.000 Here in Canton, Ohio, we just had Republic Steel be gutted by a Mexican steel company that left 500 workers unemployed.
00:29:35.000 You go right down the list.
00:29:37.000 The reality is Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are an abject disaster for America.
00:29:43.000 We have to get them out of the White House.
00:29:45.000 And we need President Trump back in there because he's the only one that can set this country back on track to how far off we've gotten since Joe Biden's been elected.
00:29:55.000 I totally agree.
00:29:56.000 So just in closing, your Bernie, give us the update from the campaign trail, how your race is going and how people can support you.
00:30:01.000 It's going great, Charlie.
00:30:03.000 Thanks to you.
00:30:03.000 You had me down at the Turning Point Summit down in West Palm Beach, which was fantastic.
00:30:08.000 We've got incredible grassroots support.
00:30:10.000 We just announced 50 county chairs all over every corner of Ohio, 200 plus grassroots endorsements.
00:30:17.000 We've outraised our competitor eight to one last quarter.
00:30:22.000 We have all the momentum in the world.
00:30:25.000 Most of our donors are coming from Ohio.
00:30:27.000 Your viewers can go on BernieMarino, M O R E N O dot com.
00:30:31.000 Charlie, we need the help.
00:30:33.000 We're not the establishment pick.
00:30:34.000 I've never been in elected office, I've never been on a statewide ballot.
00:30:38.000 So we really need that $5, $10, $25 contribution to really help fuel the campaign.
00:30:44.000 So if they could go on that website and do that, that would be absolutely fantastic.
00:30:47.000 Thank you for your endorsement to JD Vance's, to Marco Rubio's.
00:30:51.000 Lee Zeldin, Kash Patel, Carrie Lake.
00:30:54.000 We've got a great group of endorsers here in this campaign.
00:30:57.000 Very good.
00:30:57.000 Bernie Moreno, we're behind you.
00:30:59.000 Thank you so much.
00:31:00.000 Thank you.
00:31:01.000 Thanks so much for listening.
