00:08:11.000But she does make a good point, Tara Serivitis, that these polls very well might be used as a nudge to try and get us in a passive instead of an active posture.

00:13:36.000Now, lower the boom, convict Trump for the first time ahead of the Republican nominating convention in July, knowing a vicious floor fight will break out.
00:13:45.000The internals of Democrat polls have been telling us for months that the Republican Party will fracture if Trump is convicted, with 50% wanting Trump to stay on the ballot despite conviction, and 50% wanting to dump him.

00:13:59.000However, however, because at the convention, look, it's going to be mostly MAGA diehards.
00:14:05.000But there is some truth that if we are surprised or shocked or without a plan, when 12 DC jurors come back with a guilty verdict of Donald Trump, if we are caught flat-footed, if we do not have a war room and messaging and moves and countermoves, then we are not serious enough to be in the business of politics.
00:14:30.000If we do not have a game plan, I am pulling the fire alarm, and this is right ahead of America Fest, and I'm going to be pulling smart people aside.
00:14:37.000I mean, pulling Glenn Beck and Bannon and Jack Posobic, and we got to figure this out.
00:14:45.000And Tara, to her credit, this tweet is provocative enough where it gets your attention.

00:14:54.000And one of the suggestions I have is you have to give the American people the expectation that you will be convicted.
00:15:03.000This is something the Trump team probably doesn't want to do, but Trump basically has to come out and say, I'm basically already convicted because it's a rigged jury.
00:15:12.000I'm going to do my best to fight it, but these people want me in a prison cell.
00:15:16.000You can not allow that, because here's what they're going to do.
00:15:20.000They're going to try to reset the entire race as soon as Donald Trump is a quote-unquote convicted felon.
00:15:29.000Now, there is a wrinkle here of the U.S. Supreme Court.
00:16:21.000And then we need to get ahead of it because this is the uncomfortable truth, everybody.
00:16:28.000And we're going to keep reading this because it gets even richer and juicier that by Memorial Day, Donald Trump is going to be a convicted felon running for the presidency.
00:18:37.000As Tucker Carlson beautifully said, he said, the moment that you indict the opposition leader, I'm all in.
00:18:46.000And I agree with Tucker 100% out of principle.
00:18:51.000You do not have a civilization if the government and the power, the incumbent power source, can throw the opposition leader, who just happens to also be a former president in prison over stupid stuff, made-up stuff.
00:19:10.000It's never happened in American history.
00:19:11.000And the fact that the elites are putting up with this and they're kind of turning a blind eye, out of principle, you must go all in on Trump, out of principle.
00:19:20.000And then there's obviously other things that he was a great president.
00:19:22.000He brings out a lot of different voters, all that stuff.
00:19:25.000But the whole argument begins and ends with me, which is you can't do that.
00:19:42.000Now, according to Tara, she says it's a trap.
00:19:46.000I think it's a little bit, this is basically bitter sore losing on behalf of Tara, is what this is.
00:19:53.000She continues by saying, the Republican voters, the Republicans and their voters are torn right down the middle.
00:19:59.000Enraged Trump supporters now vowing not to support any replacement, even if Trump is in prison on election day, and the other half of the party voters panicking about not replacing Trump on the ballot and desperately seeking another alternative.
00:20:11.000Now, it is clear why Democrats spent millions on Nikki Haley and weren't targeted at Trump.
00:20:17.000The Democrats preferred choice for nominee, but at eliminating DeSantis and putting Haley in the number two position.
00:20:23.000Now, this does leave out the debate over whether Trump is literally disqualified.
00:20:27.000This could be rushed to the Supreme Court next summer.
00:20:30.000So he will probably be convicted by Memorial Day.
00:20:33.000That needs to be stated publicly, and you guys need to be ready for that.
00:21:08.000Now, for the final step, Democrats replace Biden as their nominee with a much more popular Democrat who is unveiled to a great mainstream media acclaim at their August convention.
00:21:18.000Now, this is not a new theory, but it gets interesting.
00:21:20.000And I don't know if this is the plan, which is you crater Trump, you indict him, you mess up Republican unity.
00:21:29.000At the very least, you create fractions, right?
00:21:32.000You get some of these Republican donors to get on TV and say, we now need Nikki.
00:21:59.000And there will be a sigh of relief from David Ignatius at the Washington Post and David Axelrod, who have been quietly and at times loudly and publicly pushing for Joe Biden to drop out of the race.
00:22:12.000All the soft support and never Trumpers will make their final stand this summer.
00:22:18.000This summer, under normal circumstances, is a time for unity to bring the tribes together to unite behind the nominee.
00:22:27.000They're going to use the convictions as a call for Republican civil war.
00:22:34.000They're going to say, quote, we can't defend a convicted criminal.
00:22:37.000They're going to redo the primary outside of voters after the conviction and make us act as if we're super surprised by it.
00:22:47.000This is one of the reasons why the media is downplaying some of this lawfare right now.
00:23:39.000The never Trumpers, the soft moderates, the Russell Moores, the Lincoln Project, all of these people will then create another massive psychological warfare campaign in June if and when he becomes a convicted felon.
00:23:55.000And then the base is going to say, wait a second, we're going to support Trump no matter what, which we should.
00:23:59.000And the convention coming in July will not be a nominating convention.
00:24:02.000I'm not that worried about a floor fight.
00:24:03.000The delegates are going to hold strong for Trump, but it will be a PR fight.
00:24:08.000And instead, here's what all the coverage will be.
00:24:11.000They say, instead of, you know, reporting live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this looming over this entire convention is convicted felon Donald Trump, who plans to receive the Republican nomination tonight.
00:24:27.000He also stands to have nine more counts and he faces 100 years in prison.
00:24:31.000That might not move you, but it will spook white college-educated suburban voters.
00:25:42.000We have to start to game this out, everybody.
00:25:47.000And I think I'm in a unique position to game this out because I'm 100% on Team Trump.
00:25:52.000And I'm also deathly afraid that we're going to be having ambush campaign after ambush campaign and calls for resignation and potential floor fights and all this sort of stuff.
00:26:06.000Number one, Donald Trump has to choose a vice presidential candidate who can unite the base, who can calm the anxieties of upper middle class white college educated voters, win over new voters, win over young voters, and do better with women.
00:26:23.000There is only one person, and it is Tucker Carlson, period.
00:26:26.000I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
00:26:28.000I don't care if Tucker doesn't want it.
00:26:30.000Tucker's the last WASP, white Anglo-Saxon Protestant.

00:28:39.000Tucker is the revenge of Gen X, which is Elon, which is Ackman, which is Rowan, which is all these guys that aren't boomers that want a voice in government.
00:28:50.000And that Gen X can and will decide the 2024 election.

00:31:06.000He has separately been charged in two other criminal cases, one in a New York state court, which revolves around a hush money payment.
00:32:24.000And I have several separate recommendations on this, but I still am afraid and worried that we are looking at this as a traditional campaign.
00:33:44.000So if they do it in August, if they do it in August and they pull Biden, and meanwhile, we're going to have an intentional sabotage campaign within the Republican Party.

00:34:04.000Need a very strong vice presidential candidate.
00:34:07.000We need to prep our base as if he's already a convicted felon because that's where they're going.
00:34:12.000We need to start to message independents and use this to our advantage.
00:34:16.000We need to ensure somehow that Donald Trump can continue to keep campaigning through some sort of legal strategy, sentencing delays and not having gag orders interfere with it.
00:34:27.000Finally, we need to try to be prepared for a Democrat bait and switch in August where they remove Joe Biden and put another candidate in at the last minute, have their insane machinery boosting the narrative and the messaging.
