00:02:39.000 I mean, we prayed over Kevin Stidd in Oklahoma City a week and a half ago, and we were with him and we were discussing this bill that he just finally signed yesterday, you know, banning the surgery, the mutilation of children's bodies in the state of Oklahoma.

00:02:57.000 We were a part of that.
00:02:59.000 You know, so it's awesome to see that the effects of what we're doing as well.

00:03:14.000 What started with a remnant small Gideon's army on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in July of 2020 has now gone viral across America.
00:03:30.000 We have taken lettuce worship to over 170 cities across the nation, gathered hundreds of thousands, seen tens of thousands saved, healed, delivered, set free, and the heart of the nation awaken again.
00:03:46.000 This is the season to dream even bigger with God as we take the momentum of what he's done the last two years and we bring lettuce worship to every single state capital across America.

00:04:04.000 This started during COVID and now it has grown tremendously.
00:04:09.000 Tell us more about it.
00:04:10.000 Yeah, so it basically started with the pledge and at the height of lockdown when when people were closing their churches down all across America.
00:04:20.000 And I was in California, the most lockdown of lockdown states.
00:04:24.000 We circulated a pledge online called Let Us Worship.
00:04:27.000 It was very simple.
00:04:28.000 And it just said, we're not going to allow the government to tell us when and how to worship God.
00:04:33.000 We are going to be the church and do what the church has been doing for 2,000 years.
00:04:37.000 So that really birthed.
00:04:40.000 And then a few days later after the pledge, we had our first gathering on the Golden Gate Bridge in June of 2020.
00:04:46.000 And the city was in a 21-down, 21-day shelter-in-place order.
00:04:52.000 We gathered hundreds of people on the bridge and we had our first event right there in the heart of one of the craziest cities in America.
00:04:59.000 Then it started to sweep across America.
00:05:02.000 In the end of 2020, we had the largest church service in the world recorded in the world in 2020 on the National Mall.
00:05:10.000 We had over 40,000 people there on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
00:05:15.000 And it was just, it was powerful.
00:05:16.000 And since that time, you know, I thought since the lockdown was over and COVID was over, maybe it would die down a little bit, but it just seems to be increasing.
00:05:24.000 And so now we're really on this journey of going to every, the mandate is bringing the kingdom of the capital, bringing God's kingdom to every single state capital.
00:05:34.000 I don't think it's really ever been done like this before.
00:05:38.000 And each capital we're going to, we're just seeing God do amazing things.
00:05:43.000 We're seeing thousands of people gather.
00:05:45.000 We're seeing the church really rise up to meet the needs of the hour.
00:05:50.000 And we're also seeing governors and senators and congressmembers and people like really, we're finding out who the real ones are, Charlie.
00:05:57.000 It's been an incredible journey.
00:05:58.000 What are the upcoming cities and states we have planned?
00:06:03.000 So this weekend is we got a really big weekend coming up.
00:06:06.000 We're going to be in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday night.
00:06:10.000 Then we're going to be in Springfield, Illinois, the capital of Illinois, which you know well on Saturday.
00:06:17.000 And then Sunday, we're going to be gathering in Indianapolis, Indiana.
00:06:21.000 And so that's the weekend agenda.
00:06:23.000 That's a big weekend hitting the Midwest states.
00:06:25.000 I hope the weather holds.
00:06:27.000 So I want to ask you now, Sean, there's a new ruling and it is going viral on Twitter and is the source of a lot of debate and discussion.
00:06:35.000 I mean, I've been very clear of my views on this, but there's been some dispute as to whether or not Satan clubs should be allowed in churches.
00:06:45.000 So I want to make sure I get the tweet here.
00:06:47.000 Yeah, here it is.
00:06:48.000 Breaking.
00:06:48.000 A federal judge now has just ruled that the Satan Club, sponsored by the Satanic Temple, must be permitted to convene at schools.
00:06:58.000 Judge John M. Gallagher stated, quote, when confronted with a challenge to free speech, the government's first instinct must be to forward expression rather than quash it, particularly when the consent is controversial or inconvenient.
00:07:10.000 Nothing less is consistent with the express purpose of the American government to secure the core innate rights of the people.
00:07:18.000 Now, I could go through a legal argument because the profane, the demonic, or the Luciferian was never in the intent of the founding fathers, especially when it comes to children.
00:07:31.000 It was about the virtue, ethical, monotheistic worldview.
00:07:34.000 So I don't think this has any place around children.
00:07:36.000 Sean, but let's just talk more from a cultural perspective.
00:07:40.000 Where are we at now that Satan clubs are gaining traction in schools?
00:07:47.000 Well, you're talking to the right guy.
00:07:49.000 Here's two postcards from apparently from Satan that were sent to my house.
00:07:55.000 And these are threats against my family and what we're doing.
00:07:59.000 So I'm well aware of these people.
00:08:01.000 You know, we've had them come to our events, attack our events, pour blood on us.
00:08:06.000 Listen, we're living in a spiritual war.
00:08:09.000 And I think people really got to wake up and understand this.
00:08:12.000 You know, the Bible is very clear.
00:08:14.000 Our fight isn't against flesh and blood.
00:08:16.000 It's against powers and principalities.
00:08:17.000 And we're in a season right now, Charlie, where those principalities are feeling emboldened and they're just right out there in the open.

00:08:27.000 You're seeing things like this.
00:08:28.000 You saw the largest gathering of Satan, Satanists that we've known in modern times in Boston this weekend.
00:08:36.000 So yeah, we're in a spiritual war.
00:08:39.000 And at the same time, they're indoctrinating the public education system.
00:08:47.000 We've got Drag Queen's Story Hour.
00:08:48.000 We got perversion.
00:08:49.000 We got what's his name at the Grammys doing a full-blown satanic demonic worship service.
00:08:58.000 And so we, yes, these are the times that we are living in.
00:09:01.000 And it's like, I was just preaching this last weekend in Pennsylvania.
00:09:06.000 I said, you know, listen, buckle up, buttercups.
00:09:09.000 Like, you were made for such a time as this.
00:09:11.000 This is a season of war.
00:09:12.000 It's a season of spiritual war.
00:09:14.000 We can no longer sit on the back seat and not engage as believers.

00:09:20.000 This is why we're going to every single capital.

00:09:23.000 Because the capital cities are the worst cities in America.
00:09:26.000 They're the most over-regulated, the highest crime, the most infiltrated with demonic ideology.

00:09:34.000 I mean, this should be a cue, you know, that yes, a federal judge is doing that.

00:13:40.000 We cannot be the conservative Patriot believers that just withdraw to the easy places.
00:13:47.000 And that's no shame against people that have moved out of California or out of New York.

00:21:38.000 I knew I needed to do more research, more homework, have more answers, call more department heads, get into the weeds myself.
00:21:45.000 I'm not someone who gets talking points and goes out and says them.
00:21:48.000 I'm someone who helped create the talking points, really important.
00:21:52.000 I would go up and I would say things like, I fought and so did President Trump for schools opening for America's children.
00:21:58.000 Said it ad nauseum at the podium.
00:22:00.000 I would cite scientific data in support of the damage being done to America's kids.
00:22:05.000 And in return, it doesn't matter what I said, how many footnotes I had, Jim Acosta would go and tweet out, Kaylee says schools should open in contravention of the science.
00:22:14.000 So exact opposite of what I said.
00:22:16.000 Meanwhile, today, you have Corrine Jean-Pierre saying illegal immigration is going down.
00:22:21.000 Republicans want to fund border, defund border patrol, and Republicans want and are fighting to put fentanyl on our streets.
00:22:29.000 These are abject lies.
00:22:31.000 And yet when you Google them, there are no fact checkers.
00:22:34.000 And you go back to the old, I mean, I used to watch this.
00:22:37.000 And I mean, Kaylee, we've known each other for years.
00:22:38.000 And I would say, boy, I'm praying for Kaylee right now.
00:22:41.000 I mean, these people were savages towards you.
00:22:43.000 They'd interrupt you.
00:22:44.000 They'd throw stuff.
00:22:45.000 I mean, it was, there was no easy question.
00:22:47.000 And with Corine Jean-Pierre, she's able to say whatever they want.
00:22:49.000 They say, oh, okay.
00:22:51.000 On to the next question.
00:22:52.000 And it's not even a double standard.
00:22:54.000 It's not even the same arena, the same galaxy, the same universe.
00:22:58.000 I mean, but it also goes to show how talented you were.
00:23:01.000 I think you're one of the best press.
00:23:02.000 You were one of the best press secretaries in American history, if not the best.
00:23:05.000 Because people have to understand the time of which Kaylee was press secretary was the most, it was high stakes beyond.
00:23:13.000 And it was confusion, galore, and people just constantly spending things for their own ideological and political agenda.
00:23:21.000 And despite all that, President Trump was doing a fabulous job, you know, governing the country.
00:23:26.000 You were posed, you were tasked with actually communicating the legislative agenda.
00:23:31.000 But Kaylee, it must, is it frustrating?
00:23:33.000 Is it funny?
00:23:35.000 Is it how you see how this current press secretary is treated?
00:23:38.000 You must say, this is not even the same job.
00:23:40.000 It's sad.
00:23:41.000 And at times, when the stakes are elevated, it's, I would say, it creates a lot of anger in me.
00:23:48.000 And here's what I mean by that.
00:23:49.000 I'm not a person who's quick to anger by any stretch of the imagination.
00:23:52.000 You could say pretty much anything I disagree with.
00:23:54.000 Don't get angry.
00:23:55.000 But when I get angry is when the stakes are so high for our country.
00:23:59.000 So, for instance, as a mother, Charlie, I know you're a father.
00:24:02.000 The Nashville shooting, those six beautiful innocent people who lost their lives, six Christians gunned down by a transgender individual. 1.00
00:24:10.000 When I watched the press briefings that week, Corine Jean-Pierre used the word transgender and fight in the same sentence.
00:24:17.000 Multiple times she talked about transgender rights.
00:24:20.000 Not one time did Corine Jean-Pierre or anyone in the administration say the word Christian when it's an issue of this enormity that you see the press just not even acknowledged.
00:24:30.000 Imagine if the roles were reversed in that.
00:24:32.000 And if I had not acknowledged a certain group of victims at a certain time, there would have been a ferocious outroar.
00:24:39.000 So for me, I can look past and roll my eyes at a lot of things, but when the stakes are so high on an issue like that, where lives were literally lost, it does cause anger.
00:24:49.000 I mean, you have a really great way about you that is appealing, and you're much better at self-control than I am.
00:24:55.000 That's for sure.
00:24:56.000 Tell us about the book.
00:24:57.000 I'm just reading about here.
00:24:58.000 I mean, you lived through a lot, but you go back to your faith, and that's what's so important.
00:25:03.000 I mean, I believe we're in a spiritual war.
00:25:05.000 I think that what you were experiencing as, you know, as press secretary was just a manifestation of the invisible.
00:25:12.000 But the byline of your book or the subheader is living through chaos by leaning on Christ.
00:25:18.000 That's really rarely said by most people in public life.
00:25:21.000 I think that's beautiful.
00:25:22.000 Tell us about it.
00:25:24.000 Yeah, you know, it struck me that we are in a moment that is bigger than any one president, bigger than any one political movement.
00:25:30.000 Look, elections are important, Charlie.
00:25:32.000 Absolutely.
00:25:32.000 I think the country would be better off if Joe Biden wasn't our president, for example.
00:25:36.000 But something bigger is happening where the cultural tectonic plates of our country have shifted in such an enormous way, where faith is under attack, freedom's under attack, the family unit is under attack.
00:25:49.000 And just one example that's personal to me as a mom, you know, education.
00:25:53.000 You look, you talk about education all the time, but the Supreme Court was very clear when they knocked prayer out of schools, which, by the way, a woman named Madeline Murray O'Hare, an atheist, someone who was a Marxist, really, who wanted to be a member of the Soviet Union.
00:26:07.000 She was the one behind removing prayer from schools.
00:26:10.000 Her son, William Murray, goes on to become a Southern Baptist minister.
00:26:14.000 He leaves behind his drug life.
00:26:15.000 Christ totally transforms him.
00:26:17.000 And he said this, and it stood out to me: July 17th, 1963 was the first day Baltimore's children could not pray in schools.
00:26:25.000 Before that date, there had never been a murder in a Baltimore school.
00:26:30.000 If you want to ask what is happening in our country, when you remove God and young people have nothing to turn to but social media and selfies and self-worship, that is when you get the suicide rates we're seeing, the violence and all of the troubling outgrowths of completely leaving God behind.
00:26:48.000 I think that's beautifully said.
00:26:49.000 And then we see all these other social contagions start to fill the void.
00:26:53.000 And so walk us through the personal aspect of your relationship with Christ when you were under fire, right?
00:27:02.000 When it was nine, the economy seemed like it was collapsing, the stock market was cut in half, you know, and you have literally tens of millions of people turning on TV and saying, what is this administration thinking?
00:27:16.000 Your book is called Serenity in the Storm, which is beautiful because we're guaranteed a storm in our life or a variety of storms.
00:27:24.000 And you can look at many of the stories of the New Testament where Jesus has total command over nature, where he's able to calm the storm.
00:27:34.000 Is that a theme that you explore there and talk about how when the storm was the most intense, that Christ was your comfort, as it says in Psalm 23 so beautifully?
00:27:46.000 Yeah, you know, I'll say there are times that are hard where even me as a Christian, you know, I get sad or disappointed or anxious or feel lonely.
00:27:54.000 You know, one example that comes to mind is when I was working here at Fox News as a producer on Huckabee, I had gone through a bad breakup.
00:28:00.000 I was just out of college, living in New York City, felt very lonely.
00:28:05.000 I left work a little early.
00:28:06.000 I went to my apartment and I said, God, if you are out there, I need to hear from you now.
00:28:10.000 And at that moment, my phone lit up with a number I did not know.
00:28:14.000 And I thought, hey, this could be a telemarketer, but I don't care.
00:28:17.000 That'd be a fun conversation because I'm that lonely.
00:28:19.000 Instead, it was a member of my church saying, this is the journey, church.
00:28:23.000 We need to pray for you.
00:28:24.000 How can we pray for you?
00:28:25.000 And it was literally God reaching out to me in a very dark moment in life.
00:28:29.000 And I go back and I remember that.
00:28:31.000 And that call transformed my lives.
00:28:32.000 And there are times I want to fight back against wrong press headlines or, you know, engage in mono, amano.
00:28:38.000 Like I want to stand up for myself.
00:28:39.000 But that's when I remind myself of that moment and this song by Phil Wickman that the battle belongs to you.
00:28:45.000 And when we fight, we fight on our knees with our hands lifted high because the battle belongs to him.
00:28:50.000 And when you know that, you can have calm in the storm, even though sometimes your emotions are quite so calm.

00:29:50.000 That means there's been an increase of 136,000.

00:30:03.000 I could go across the board from immigration to foreign policy, from the Chinese Communist Party.
00:30:11.000 I mean, just from a big picture here, do you see Democrats, do you see a trend where Democrats are going to have to pay a price for what they're currently doing to the country?
00:30:23.000 Only if Republicans succeed in making this a choice between a positive agenda and illustrating the contrast with Democrats.
00:30:31.000 You know, if this is, you never want in politics something to be a referendum on you as a person.
00:30:35.000 You want it to be a choice for a positive agenda.
00:30:39.000 And the reason I'm sounding, you know, a little more pessimistic is because I do want to see in 2024 Republicans prevail.
00:30:46.000 That means being honest about the mistakes we've made.
00:30:49.000 And, you know, I look back to the midterms, for example.
00:30:52.000 I personally thought it was going to be a red tidal wave.
00:30:55.000 I thought that.
00:30:56.000 Poling suggested that.
00:30:58.000 And then it didn't happen. 0.99
00:30:59.000 And it made me realize that the moniker of it's the economy stupid, which is always long held to be true, is true no longer. 0.97

00:31:38.000 More than 50% of transgender youth in the U.S., which is estimated to be more than 150,000 kids, live in states in which transgender youth have lost access to or at risk of losing access to gender-affirming care.

00:31:58.000 LGBTQI plus kids are resilient.
00:32:03.000 They are fierce.
00:32:05.000 They fight back.

00:32:14.000 Has their back after a mass murder, after another individual was arrested.
00:32:19.000 No mention of Christians.

00:32:23.000 In communications, you understand words more than anyone.
00:32:27.000 You understand the importance of one word, of one phrase, of the kind of emotions it can evoke.
00:32:32.000 That is what you do as a communicator.
00:32:34.000 And that's her job as the communicator for our country at this moment in time.
00:32:38.000 For her to use the words, they fight back days after a transgender individual killed six Christians. 0.97

00:32:51.000 And to not acknowledge the victim here, I'm the first to say if a shooting happens at Tree of Life Synagogue, that was an attack on Jewish men and women, Pulse nightclub, gay men and women, Nashville Covenant School, Christian men and women, and children.
00:33:05.000 We have to call things out for what they are when we see them happen.
00:33:09.000 And the fact that the White House got away with this without anyone in the media questioning it is a really sad indictment of the American media.
00:33:16.000 Without a doubt.
00:33:17.000 There's another one where she says, after the tragedy, our hearts go out to the trans community.
00:33:24.000 They are under attack.
00:33:25.000 Not Christians under attack.

00:33:28.000 And one of the things that we saw during the midterm elections is that people don't want their freedoms to be taken.
00:33:34.000 They want us to fight for their freedoms.

00:33:47.000 It is the first shooting ever that I've seen where the shooter and the murderers get more sympathy than the actual victims.

00:33:57.000 How should Christians respond more broadly to this disturbing trend?
00:34:01.000 We should speak out about our faith, about why we have it, about the importance of it in our lives, and call out the administration for what it's doing because I don't believe that language there is in isolation.
00:34:11.000 When you have the Department of Justice, STEM going after Portland rioters, they decide to go after the pro-life community, Mark Howe, exonerated in a court of law.
00:34:20.000 There's a memo in the FBI about radical traditional Catholics and at least one testament to putting an individual, a plant inside a Catholic church, the desire to do that. 0.75
00:34:30.000 This isn't happening in isolation.
00:34:32.000 This is a broader attack on Christianity that's coming from this administration.
00:34:35.000 We got to be vocal about it.
