00:01:32.000 Mr. Kane, welcome back to the program.
00:01:34.000 What's up, Charlie?
00:01:35.000 I've made the 90-degree turn towards the laptop, away from the monitor.
00:01:39.000 Let's talk.
00:01:41.000 So, Kane, I love the links that you're posting here.
00:01:43.000 I want to just get your big picture analysis in the last couple weeks on Tucker's departure.
00:01:51.000 You've been linking a lot to it.
00:01:52.000 What are you seeing?
00:01:53.000 What are you hearing?
00:01:54.000 How should we think about this?
00:01:55.000 Well, it's the defamation of Tucker Carlson.
00:01:58.000 They're certainly trying.
00:01:59.000 I caught the first 10 minutes of your excellent open this morning talking about those text messages.
00:02:05.000 Obviously, I saw that story on Drudge last night.
00:02:08.000 He's going big with it.
00:02:09.000 It's funny, you know, Drudge turns to the left, and now several years later, as some people would argue sooner, Fox News is kind of turning that way.
00:02:20.000 Obviously, someone is coordinating some leaks here.
00:02:24.000 There's a great town hall story that has four or five videos, quote-unquote, leaked Tucker Carlson videos from a Media Matters reporter on Twitter.
00:02:34.000 So that's, I would, I would tell people to look at that, but it's all backfiring because this sort of leaked audio stuff, leaked video from Tucker on, you know, on his set before broadcast before filming begins.
00:02:46.000 They show that Tucker's a real guy.
00:02:50.000 Regarding those texts, I'm with you 100%.
00:02:53.000 They did not show Tucker Carlson as a racist.
00:02:56.000 Let's ask Simon Ateba, the White House reporter who has been blacklisted by Karen Jean-Pierre.
00:03:02.000 Ask him if he thinks Tucker's a racist.
00:03:04.000 You know, you'll get a response that Fox News won't like.
00:03:09.000 And, you know, one other thing, a little birdie told me here recently that, well, this week, Lawrence Jones is filling in for Tucker at 8 p.m.
00:03:19.000 By the way, you were correct to mention that the 8 p.m. slot on Fox News is down 50%.
00:03:25.000 I just posted a story that the overall MSNBC beat Fox News in primetime ratings two nights ago.
00:03:33.000 Unbelievable.
00:03:33.000 That hasn't happened in a while.
00:03:34.000 I'll get back to the Lawrence Jones story.
00:03:36.000 Just that, you know, there's some he, him pronouns thing happening there.
00:03:42.000 And it just doesn't bode well for the future of Fox News.
00:03:46.000 Outside Jesse Waters, Laura Ingram, and a few other fighters, that network isn't really worth a lot.
00:03:53.000 Yeah.
00:03:54.000 And so let's dive into this.
00:03:56.000 How does this, so because you're, you're one of the top media sites out there for conservative patriots and Americans.
00:04:03.000 How do you think this changes the media landscape?
00:04:05.000 Does it make it harder for us to be able to penetrate the narrative?
00:04:10.000 Does it make it easier for us?
00:04:11.000 I mean, so that's the question.
00:04:12.000 Is Tucker not on cable TV and more like Rogan?
00:04:15.000 Does that allow us to reach a younger generation?
00:04:18.000 Or does it actually make it harder for us to be able to crush these pre-existing orthodoxies?
00:04:24.000 Your thoughts?
00:04:26.000 Yeah, that's a good, that's a good complex question.
00:04:29.000 You know, I thought of the Rogan theme because there was a quote from Tucker one night on his show, and he was like, you guys think my audience is big?
00:04:35.000 Joe Rogan has 12 million every day on Spotify.
00:04:39.000 So I know there's a part of Tucker that probably has a little bit of a desire to go that alternate route and reach a younger audience.
00:04:48.000 In terms of what it makes, you know, my first thought when you said, how does it make our job?
00:04:53.000 I thought you were leaning into sort of us presenting news.
00:04:56.000 And as a side note, it does make my job more difficult, right?
00:05:00.000 Because let's say I have an outstanding clip from Fox News.
00:05:04.000 Let's say it's you on Laura Ingram, or let's say it's Senator Johnson on Maria Bartaromo's show.
00:05:09.000 Now, if I present that video, I get pushback from a certain part of my audience just for showing it because it's from the Fox News platform.
00:05:18.000 So now going back to the meat of your question, which is, does this, how does this affect our ability to reach the MAGA audience and reach maybe an independent Republican-leaning audience if we all leave Fox News, if we all stop watching?
00:05:36.000 Well, it's, you know, it's going to hurt Fox's bottom line, number one.
00:05:41.000 Their numbers are way down.
00:05:42.000 I'm sure that's the reason.
00:05:44.000 Yeah, that's, I'm sure that's a huge part of the reason for this panic, right?
00:05:47.000 For this, this pushing out of text messages and Suzanne Scott leaking to the Wall Street Journal is because they're trying to recapture a part of their audience and say, look, we were the good guys.
00:05:57.000 It was Tucker who was the bad guy.
00:05:59.000 He was the one who was texting these people.
00:06:01.000 I think you're right, Kane.
00:06:03.000 So, I just make sure everyone understands that's a super important point.
00:06:06.000 That you think that these leaks against Tucker is Fox's attempt to regain their audience?
00:06:12.000 Do they really understand their audience, Kane?
00:06:15.000 Is that where we're at?
00:06:16.000 They're desperate.
00:06:18.000 Yeah, I mean.
00:06:19.000 Yeah, they're desperate.
00:06:20.000 I didn't mean to cut you off in the middle of your question, but look, let's say you're Suzanne Scott and Lachlan Murdock, and you think, oh, maybe we're going to lose 20%, you know, if we fire Tucker.
00:06:29.000 They obviously had to be thinking about damage control.
00:06:32.000 And now when they see down 50% in the eight o'clock hour and they see that MSNBC is beating them in overall prime time, yeah, I would think that would push them to the panic stage, such as now they're just throwing anything and everything.
00:06:46.000 And that's why I implied perhaps that they're even bedfellows with Media Matters.
00:06:50.000 Like, who's supplying these clips to Media Matters, these quote-unquote gotcha clips on Tucker?
00:06:56.000 It's got to be inside people at Fox because, so yeah, so I think that Fox News is desperate.
00:07:02.000 They're putting this out to try to get, you know, just to try to get people to see their side and it's not working.
00:07:09.000 So that that's a that's a new point that I have not heard anybody make.
00:07:13.000 And quite honestly, Kane, I was making somewhat of the opposite point, which also they actually could both be true.
00:07:19.000 I was saying they might want to take Tucker out.
00:07:22.000 You're actually saying they're trying to rewind the narrative to the audience.
00:07:25.000 Like, hey, hey, guys, you would have fired him too.
00:07:28.000 But it's just this fundamental misunderstanding of who their audience actually is.
00:07:33.000 They think they're going to regain the audience based on that text message or a couple of off-the-cuff remarks.
00:07:39.000 It's the opposite.
00:07:40.000 It makes people angrier at Fox, Kane, doesn't it?
00:07:44.000 Yeah, from our base, without a doubt, it pisses people off.
00:07:48.000 We see through it.
00:07:49.000 We're the smarter consumers of media.
00:07:52.000 But I think Fox, you know, assumes a general dumbed down.
00:07:57.000 You know, I don't think they have a high opinion of the intelligence of the American people.
00:08:01.000 And I think they're their audience, obviously.
00:08:04.000 Yeah, I mean, I think they're grasping at straws.
00:08:06.000 I tried to put that part in there.
00:08:07.000 Like, I think they're panicked because instead of being a 20% drop in ratings, it's 50%.
00:08:13.000 So they, you know, they're they're and the other part, too, is they might be trying to.
00:08:20.000 Maybe they're really still pissed at Tucker and they're, they're upset that he's getting this much positive attention.
00:08:25.000 So they're just trying to bring down his, you know, bring down his reputation, help destroy him a little bit.
00:08:31.000 So he perhaps doesn't get the $100 million contract that he was offered yesterday.
00:08:35.000 But I agree with your point.
00:08:36.000 I don't think our points are conflicting.
00:08:40.000 You know, I don't really think they're opposite.
00:08:42.000 I think that Fox is just, they're beyond the misinterpreting stage and they're in the panic stage.
00:08:49.000 When you get panicked about things, you just start throwing things against the wall.
00:08:52.000 You're right.
00:08:53.000 You never make a good decision when you're in the midst of panic ever in life.
00:08:56.000 That's why you need to slow down and you need to use prudence and not hysteria.
00:09:01.000 And so basically they're seeing the ratings fall.
00:09:04.000 They're seeing, I mean, not just fall, collapse, down 60 or 70%.
00:09:08.000 They're seeing massive audience erosion that seems to only be accelerating the more information gets out.
00:09:15.000 And probably somebody says, hey, we need to try to tell the audience why we did this without doing that.
00:09:20.000 And so someone has the genius idea to leak a text message to the New York Times.
00:09:26.000 I mean, and we're also learning, Kane, that Fox has full-time people, four full-time people at Fox that collect dossiers on their talent.
00:09:35.000 I don't know if that's true, but it sounds like it's true.
00:09:37.000 And then they're working in harmony with Media Matters.
00:09:40.000 I mean, Kane, 30 seconds, and we'll talk about this after the break.
00:09:45.000 If you were Fox, I think the only way you could save this right now is not try to leak stuff on Tucker, is go take your Gulf stream down to Tucker's home in Florida or up in Maine and offer him $100 million a year and try to sweep this under the rug.
00:10:01.000 I don't think they can survive if they don't resign Tucker.
00:10:03.000 Your thoughts, Kane?
00:10:05.000 Yeah.
00:10:05.000 Well, first, I'm going to have to look up that story you just mentioned about four Fox spies.
00:10:09.000 That would not surprise me at all.
00:10:11.000 And yeah, you know, the rehiring of Tucker, he would probably laugh at them at this.
00:10:18.000 I'm sure he would laugh at them, but I'm saying that the only strategic move Fox has left to save the network.
00:10:24.000 And maybe they want to be RNC TV.
00:10:26.000 I don't know.
00:10:28.000 I'm not quite understanding the philosophy or the thought here.
00:10:30.000 Maybe they just want to truncate the network and go down 800,000 people at a 3.3 million.
00:10:35.000 And okay, Rupert Murdoch will be worth 8 billion instead of 18 billion, but maybe no more lawsuits and you get to go back to the Met Gala and no more boycotts and Dylan Mulvaney can do ads for you again.
00:10:48.000 Look, are you concerned about the American K through 12 education system?
00:10:52.000 Are you worried about what your children and your grandchildren are learning or honestly not learning in school?
00:10:57.000 If you answer yes, my friends at Hillsdale College have a free resource for you.
00:11:00.000 Hillsdale College understands the importance of education to the future of our country.
00:11:04.000 They're now offering 10 free print copies of their recent issue of In Primus.

00:12:01.000 I promise you, whoever replaces Don Lemon has the same exact views as Don Lemon and the same exact views of everybody else at CNN.
00:12:08.000 And that's not true for Tucker Carlson.
00:12:10.000 He's really designed for the internet.
00:12:12.000 I hope he goes there.
00:12:13.000 He's going to, unless they've paid him off to like the, I mean, if I was a person in a position of power and a wild card like Tucker Carlson got released from Fox News and maybe Rumble makes a deal with him or something like that.
00:12:27.000 Do you have any idea how big that would be?
00:12:30.000 With us is Citizen Kane from citizenfreepress.com.
00:12:33.000 Kane, I have you chomping at the bit.
00:12:35.000 Let it loose.
00:12:37.000 Well, okay.
00:12:38.000 So you went, your last comment right before the break was, does Rupert Murdoch, is he happy to shrink his network from 3 million viewers to 800,000?
00:12:50.000 You know, look, again, I don't think they anticipated that this was going to happen.
00:12:56.000 Tucker brings a completely different audience to Fox News that no other of their primetime anchors does.
00:13:02.000 It's a younger audience.
00:13:04.000 It's an internet savvy audience.
00:13:05.000 As Joe Rogan just showed it, stated in that last clip, he's sort of built for the internet, right?
00:13:12.000 So it, you know, that's in a way, that's probably responsible for a bigger part of this boycott, right?
00:13:19.000 If Tucker's audience is this young, meme-making, internet-loving audience and you sack him, now you've pissed off the most active people in the modern community.
00:13:30.000 Target demo, right?
00:13:31.000 That's what they always say, the desired target demo on cable news.
00:13:34.000 And if you look at the, if you go actually a level deeper, that's the biggest collapse on the 8 p.m. hour is 25 to 44, which is what advertisers look at the most.
00:13:46.000 Right.
00:13:46.000 It's the one that's the most valuable.
00:13:48.000 And I saw that.
00:13:48.000 I look at those media daily media reports.
00:13:52.000 And I try to look at those every day and scan down and see the numbers.
00:13:54.000 And yeah, you do.
00:13:55.000 You pay attention to that demographic and it's down big.
00:13:59.000 So it shows that those reader, excuse me, those viewers are pissed off.
00:14:04.000 They're holding a grudge and they're going to boycott.
00:14:07.000 Look, our boycotts are doing pretty well.
00:14:08.000 I saw a number.
00:14:10.000 I've been paying attention to all the Bud Light numbers.
00:14:12.000 I saw total Bud Light sales down 26% for the month of April.
00:14:16.000 I saw that this morning.
00:14:17.000 That's substantial.
00:14:18.000 26% is hugely substantial to a beer company.
00:14:21.000 So obviously this part of the MAGA base is happy to do boycotts and successful at them.
00:14:30.000 And again, we have the best meme makers, as we know, and all of this sort of works.
00:14:36.000 So, you know, something else I want to get to with Fox is, you know, what will they plan to, that comment from that guy with Joe Rogan was dead on.
00:14:48.000 If you replace Don Lemon, it's going to be another Don Lemon.
00:14:51.000 There really isn't another Tucker Carlson except for maybe Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon and, you know, and a few other independent people, because I think the independence of what you guys do on your platforms sort of gives you some freedom to say things.
00:15:07.000 Yes, because we don't have that kind of corporate sort of Damocles hanging over us where we're going to get a call because Hyundai got mad because I went after Dylan Milvaney or something, right?
00:15:16.000 Like, I don't care.
00:15:16.000 Hyundai's not going to advertise with us, probably.
00:15:19.000 I don't know.
00:15:20.000 But so, but Kane, I want to kind of just build this out a little bit.
00:15:23.000 We only have two minutes remaining, but I think this is a cause and effect.
00:15:26.000 Not everything in life is cause and effect, but this is.
00:15:28.000 This is the house that was built when Fox called Arizona preemptively on election night, based on everything that I have learned from this audience and other people.
00:15:37.000 That was a shock and awe, where they were brazen.
00:15:40.000 They were public.
00:15:41.000 There were 23 million people watching.
00:15:42.000 And Fox was the first network for dates to call Arizona before all the drops were in.
00:15:48.000 It seems as if they were always trying to catch up and win back their audience and overcompensate and undercompensate.
00:15:54.000 It has, if they would have handled that election night better and understood their audience, they would be in a better spot.
00:15:59.000 What I'm getting at, Kane, is that their disconnect to their audience goes all the way back to the night of election 2020.
00:16:06.000 Minute remaining, your thoughts came.
00:16:08.000 Yeah, that's absolutely right.
00:16:10.000 No one has forgotten election night 220.
00:16:12.000 That call, that Arizona call, people bring that up in comments on Citizen Free Press all the time.
00:16:17.000 And let's not forget how late they were to call Florida that night.
00:16:21.000 So they're late to call Florida for Trump.
00:16:23.000 They are super, you know, part of it is that disconnect within Fox News, right?
00:16:27.000 We learned that because there were anchors at Fox who were very upset that their decision desk had made that call.
00:16:34.000 So there was that split within there.
00:16:36.000 But yes, they've been fighting this battle for two years.
00:16:40.000 They didn't understand their audience two years ago.
00:16:43.000 They still don't understand their audience and they're not likely to learn it.
00:16:46.000 And I look forward to seeing Tucker dance on their grave.
00:16:51.000 I hope Suzanne Scott gets fired because some of her texts come out in the SmartMatic trial.
00:16:56.000 So I'll leave it with that.
00:16:58.000 And we can't forget my good friend Dan Bongino, which I think, if you look at the Dan Bongino contract deal and the Tucker deal was within 72 hours, which looks as if a complete editorial shift, somebody in that New York office, somebody on Avenue of the Americas, I think it's 1211.
00:17:16.000 It's all public right there, said, Hey, these MAGA people, they're going to keep watching.
00:17:21.000 We don't need them.
00:17:22.000 Somebody had an arrogant attitude and they took out the ban hammer and they're going to pay a very deep price.

00:18:42.000 Joining us now is the great John Solomon.
00:18:44.000 John, welcome to the program.
00:18:47.000 Let's first start.
00:18:48.000 Let's first start with your new book out, children's book.
00:18:51.000 Tell us about it.
00:18:53.000 It's a very special thing.
00:18:54.000 I never thought in my life I'd do a children's book, but it's a very special project to mark.
00:18:58.000 First off, it stars my son's hamster Chunk, who in this particular book becomes a newspaper editor.
00:19:04.000 He publishes a newspaper and he can't get his newspaper out because the tunnels, the towers, the tubes in the Hamster Village are clogged by an evil koala bear named Carl.
00:19:13.000 Yes, Carl is modeled after Karl Marx.
00:19:15.000 But the story is designed to tell young children ages four to 11 why censorship is bad, why the First Amendment was first.
00:19:23.000 These are lessons that were not given them in their own schools over the last two decades.
00:19:27.000 And so this is an opportunity for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, auntie, and uncle to share a story about why free speech matters in a fun, entertaining way.
00:19:35.000 There's great animals, great characters, beautiful artistry.
00:19:39.000 And you get to tell and pass on a value to our children about free speech that a lot of our schools are now teaching the opposite of, which is censorship could actually be good.
00:19:47.000 They're actually teaching that in some places.
00:19:49.000 We want to counter that.
00:19:50.000 Brave Books is an amazing group of people.
00:19:52.000 They are there to be a counterbalance to Scholastic and all of the woke education forces.
00:19:58.000 Give Americans a pro-God, pro-America book opportunity every month.
00:20:03.000 And this month they're going to give my book away free.
00:20:05.000 You get it free.
00:20:06.000 If you go to BraveBook.us and subscribe to their monthly book club, you'll get my book, hidden headlines for free.
00:20:11.000 But that's the story.
00:20:12.000 My son's hamster as a newspaper editor, and we teach children the importance of free speech.
00:20:18.000 Hidden headlines, a Seymour Clues Mystery.
00:20:21.000 Check it out.
00:20:22.000 John, tell us the latest on the details on the Hunter Biden IRS whistleblower story.
00:20:27.000 That story has gone quiet.
00:20:29.000 You're the best at breaking these kinds of stories through your sources and your phenomenal award-winning reporting.
00:20:34.000 Tell us about it.
00:20:36.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:20:36.000 Yeah, listen, there's a lot going on behind the scenes.
00:20:39.000 Right now, there is a proffer, an offer of testimony being drafted that will be conveyed to the House committees later this week.
00:20:45.000 Last week, the big development was this whistleblower couldn't even tell his lawyers what he knew and certainly couldn't tell Congress until the House Ways and Means Committee voted to accept him as a whistleblower and to pierce the tax privacy laws that prevent him from talking about anything that isn't a public tax case.
00:21:04.000 And so now that happened.
00:21:06.000 Jason Smith, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, he got a vote.
00:21:09.000 They've authorized it.
00:21:12.000 The IRS agent's able to tell his lawyers what he knows.
00:21:15.000 His lawyers are able to make an offer of testimony to Congress.
00:21:18.000 I would expect that this agent would be testifying before Congress in the next couple of weeks behind closed doors, and that by Memorial Day, we'll know exactly what it is that he has as evidence to back up his claim.
00:21:30.000 His claim is that the career people at the FBI and IRS were ready to indict Hunter Biden a long time ago on tax charges, political appointees of the Justice Department.
00:21:40.000 The Biden Justice Department blocked it.
00:21:42.000 And then Merrick Garland went out and said there is no political interference, which he knew to be false, he said.
00:21:47.000 And so that's why he approached the Justice Department Inspector General.
00:21:51.000 He's been investigating this for about eight weeks now.
00:21:53.000 And now Congress, and I think the American public will get the goods, the receipts, the proof before Memorial Day on the current schedule that Congress is on.
00:22:02.000 A very big book.
00:22:03.000 Meanwhile, Hunter Biden could very well be indicted in the next few days.
00:22:07.000 The legal team around Hunter Biden believes that an indictment is inevitable and that the Justice Department's in the final phases of doing that.
00:22:16.000 There was a meeting last week.
00:22:18.000 It didn't result in a plea deal or a bargain.
00:22:20.000 And so I think the Hunter Biden team, based on my reporting, seems resolved that there could be criminal charges.
00:22:25.000 Again, you won't know until the grand jury does it.
00:22:27.000 And of course, unlike Nancy Pelosi, we're going to give Hunter Biden the presumption of innocence, something that Nancy Pelosi and Democrats have deprived President Trump.
00:22:36.000 But at the end of the day, this case seems to be moving forward.
00:22:40.000 It's going to be a narrower case, though, than what a lot of the agents believe could have been brought a year or two ago.
00:22:46.000 Well, John, that's some huge news.
00:22:48.000 Have you shared that publicly yet?
00:22:49.000 I mean, I've been talking about it last few days.
00:22:53.000 Okay, that's great.
00:22:54.000 And I've been, I haven't seen that.
00:22:57.000 So, but I'm a little cynical, John.
00:22:59.000 I'll believe it when I see it.
00:23:00.000 So, what leads you to believe?
00:23:02.000 Yeah, what leads you to believe this will happen?
00:23:04.000 And I think you've kind of alluded to it.
00:23:06.000 Is it just going to be a paperwork slap on the wrist, go clean up the side of a highway for a couple days type thing where you check the box, but you don't go all the way, where they just do like 1% of the 100%, you know, 1% of the crimes where they say, oh, you know, we're equal opportunity.
00:23:20.000 And, John, is it, and this is how sinister my calculation gets, is it a way to go do Hunter because they want to do a DOJ with Trump later on, where they say, hey, look, both parties are after DOJ.
00:23:32.000 We're not targeting him.
00:23:33.000 Your thoughts?
00:23:34.000 Yeah, listen, all of those are possible dynamics here.
00:23:36.000 Let's start with how do we know what's going on?
00:23:38.000 We know from the Hunter Biden team that there was a meeting last week.
00:23:44.000 These meetings typically occur just before an indictment decision is made.
00:23:47.000 They call them the Hail Mary meeting.
00:23:49.000 The defense team comes in and tries to convince the Justice Department why you shouldn't charge my client or why you should charge him with lesser crimes or maybe get a plea deal.
00:23:57.000 That meeting occurred last week.
00:23:59.000 There are reports out there that the government is looking at two or three felony charges against Hunter Biden related to taxes, one charge related to his gun application that we know a lot about, then some misdemeanors.
00:24:11.000 My sources tell me that those reports are generally accurate.
00:24:13.000 Obviously, things can slide around.
00:24:15.000 Here's the big concern that people in the know have.
00:24:18.000 And we may get an answer from the IRS whistleblower if he gets a chance to testify.
00:24:23.000 But there is in the discussions in the Washington Press right now, the suggestion is that the tax charges are going to involve transactions of about $20,000, $30,000 on business expenses that weren't declared as income, like in the 2018 timeframe.
00:24:37.000 So a small amount of tax evasion alleged and more recent in the last five years.
00:24:43.000 We know from my reporting two years ago, we made public, Congress confirmed this email, that there's an email from January of 2017, the week that Donald Trump was about to become president, where Hunter Biden's business partner, Eric Schwerin, someone that Congress is trying to get to cooperate, wrote Hunter Biden to say, hey, Hunter, you never declared $400,000 of income and not any income, the income from that controversial deal from Burisma Holdings in Ukraine.
00:25:11.000 And it's three years later, Hunter, you got to get right.
00:25:13.000 You got to declare the income and pay some taxes.
00:25:15.000 $400,000 would be a much more serious charge.
00:25:18.000 That's not in the current discussions.
00:25:20.000 And yesterday, Congressman Scott Perry from Pennsylvania wrote a letter to all the committees in Congress, Senate and House saying, hey, look at this.
00:25:27.000 There's this email saying he did this.
00:25:28.000 The discussions are about this.
00:25:30.000 I think there might be a protection racket going on.
00:25:32.000 Maybe they let the statute of limitations expire or they're trying to protect Hunter Biden.
00:25:37.000 Please investigate.
00:25:39.000 And that is circulating around today with a lot of fervor.
00:25:42.000 A lot of people asking the right question now.
00:25:44.000 Why isn't that Burisma stuff on the table, according to the media?
00:25:47.000 Did the statute of limitations be allowed to expire?
00:25:51.000 That could be a big scandal going forward.
00:25:53.000 This sounds like a lot of paperwork stuff, and I'm not making it insignificant, but what about the influence peddling?
00:25:59.000 I mean, and is any of this actually going to point to the big guy, or it seems as if they're angling it in such a way where they could just kind of go, okay, paperwork.
00:26:07.000 You know, he could plea down to a couple felonies and then again, get community service, you know, a slap on the wrist where they could say, we'd been there, done that.
00:26:15.000 I mean, it just seems so clear to me.
00:26:17.000 I'm not getting my hopes up here, John, that this is going to be the accountability of the Biden crime syndicate.
00:26:24.000 Again, we're talking about that 2018 window again, right?
00:26:27.000 And that's why there's a red flag here.
00:26:29.000 A lot of that influence peddling stuff, right, occurred in 13, 14, 15, 16, when Joe Biden was still vice president and still had juice, right?
00:26:36.000 And Hunter Biden was, by his own admission in his own email, trading on his name, right?
00:26:40.000 He writes his colleague one time, they're not interested in my skills.
00:26:43.000 They're interested in my last name.
00:26:44.000 He knew what he was doing.
00:26:46.000 Those aren't on the table either.
00:26:47.000 And that raised, I think that further accentuates the concern that some Republicans in Congress in the know have that maybe the most serious stuff, the influence peddling stuff, the earlier tax issues with Burisma, if those emails are to be believed, that they're off the table because Justice Department did something like let the statute of limitations expire.
00:27:05.000 And therefore, Hunter Biden couldn't be hit harder with these sort of allegations from before.
00:27:10.000 That is the question that lawmakers like Ron Johnson, Chuck Grassley, James Comer, and Jim Jordan are currently trying to answer.
00:27:17.000 When we see, if there is an indictment and we see what it is, we'll know what the government focused on.
00:27:22.000 And then the real questions will begin, which is why weren't these other issues, which have been in the public for three years now, why aren't they addressed in this indictment?
00:27:30.000 I suspect, and again, I don't know anything, but I suspect the IRS whistleblower may be able to provide us an answer about why some of the more explosive stuff that we currently know about isn't in the discussion on the indictment.
00:27:41.000 Maybe the whistleblower can give us some visibility into that.
00:27:44.000 That means the Hunter Biden scandal will become more than influence peddling.
00:27:47.000 There'll now be a question of whether there was a protection racket or a cover-up going on.
00:27:51.000 Expect that to happen in the next couple of months, that debate to flip on its end.
00:27:54.000 Yeah, I sure hope that develops.
00:27:56.000 Really quick before the break, what's the latest on Blinken, Mike Morrell, and that entire story?
00:28:02.000 There are two dynamics going on.
00:28:03.000 First, the House Judiciary Committee is waiting for Blinken to answer questions.
00:28:07.000 What did you do with Mike Morrell?
00:28:08.000 Mike Morrell's already given his side of the story.
00:28:10.000 He triggered me to write this letter.
00:28:12.000 He sent me the key passage, right?
00:28:13.000 The USA Today article that put Russian disinformation into the letter.
00:28:18.000 Where they're waiting for answers.
00:28:19.000 Meanwhile, Chuck Grassy, Ron Johnson dropped the bombshell letter yesterday saying, hey, you gave us some testimony back in 2020, Anthony Blinken, just before you became Secretary of State, and you lied to us.
00:28:29.000 You told us you didn't have written or text or email communications with Hunter Biden.
00:28:34.000 We found in communications, and we also saw communications to your wife, who was working with you at the State Department.
00:28:40.000 We want your records.
00:28:40.000 You lied.
00:28:41.000 Turn them over.
00:28:42.000 That happened just last night.
00:28:44.000 That's extraordinary.
00:28:45.000 John, stay right there.
00:28:46.000 I want to keep you for another segment and also just remind people about your very important book, Hidden Headlines, a Seymour Clues Mystery.
00:28:54.000 Check it out.
00:28:55.000 Let's Play Cut 72, John Solomon's new book, Play Cut 72.
00:28:59.000 Hello, America.
00:29:00.000 John Solomon here.
00:29:01.000 We're at the Public Library.
00:29:02.000 The last few hours, we've had hundreds of parents and children come for storytime.
00:29:07.000 This is ground zero of the next America, the next generation of America, instilling values like this book here, Hidden Headlines, my newest book.
00:29:14.000 I wanted to tell a story of why the First Amendment matters, why it was first.
00:29:18.000 So many children and young adults didn't get that lesson in school.
00:29:21.000 We have a chance to influence our children, to teach them about freedom, about faith, about the values and greatness of America.
00:29:27.000 Something they're not getting often in their schools today.
00:29:30.000 John, how are sales going of your new book?
00:29:33.000 Doing great.
00:29:33.000 We're very humbled.
00:29:34.000 So many people coming.
00:29:35.000 We had hundreds of people in Philadelphia too, Charlie.
00:29:37.000 It was so amazing to meet with parents.
00:29:39.000 And there was this parent, I think her name was Jilly.
00:29:42.000 And she said to me, I grew up with my parents telling me, like Ronald Reagan used to say, there's a silent majority America.
00:29:48.000 And I truly believe that, but we can't be silent anymore.
00:29:51.000 Silence is complicity.
00:29:53.000 And I just, it struck me as someone just in everyday life trying to manage two children to say that and realize that the moment in America to fight for freedom, for liberty, for the America that we've had, but might not have in the future is upon us.
00:30:06.000 It was really a touching moment to meet so many great parents on the front line saying, I'm going to protect my children from silliness.
00:30:12.000 I'm going to get America back to common sense.
00:30:14.000 But sales are great.
00:30:15.000 And the great folks at Brave Books are amazing.
00:30:18.000 Bravebooks.us, go check it out, folks.
00:30:20.000 They are great, great people.
00:30:22.000 So, John, several other stories that we could talk about here, but I want to close the loop on the Hunter Biden paternity issue.
00:30:28.000 What is the latest here of his daughter, his kid in Arkansas?
00:30:34.000 What is the whole situation there?
00:30:36.000 Well, listen, the mother feels like the mother of Hunter's child in Arkansas feels like he is not showing the rest of his income to us because he might be making a lot more money and trying to cheat the child or the court out of money.
00:30:50.000 So the judge agreed in this sense and said, listen, Mr. Biden, you have to produce these records, including all sources of income and all gifts you got and anyone who bought your photos and how much you got for them.
00:31:02.000 And so Hunter Biden now will have to reveal whether he's gotten any gifts that he's been living off of.
00:31:06.000 Maybe he's freeloading it.
00:31:08.000 I don't want to assume anything, but the judge wants to know.
00:31:08.000 We don't know.
00:31:11.000 Those records won't only be important to the paternity case, but as you pointed out in the Fox News clip, they could be important to congressional investigators.
00:31:18.000 And I want to tell you about something else.
00:31:19.000 I think it will break today, Charlie.
00:31:21.000 So I'll kind of lean into this a little bit.
00:31:24.000 People always ask Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden.
00:31:26.000 Well, what about Joe Biden, right?
00:31:28.000 I think later today, we're going to learn about the existence of an FBI document that alleges a pay-to-play influence peddling scheme, meaning not tax evasion, which Hunter Biden is expecting to potentially be indicted for, but actually Joe Biden and the family trading policy for money.
00:31:45.000 We understand there's an FBI document that's been out there.
00:31:48.000 I think that's going to burst out into the scene later today or tomorrow.
00:31:51.000 One of the many whistleblowers, not the IRS whistleblower, but an FBI whistleblower.
00:31:55.000 That could have a profound effect because it'll turn the attention where it ultimately needs to be.
00:32:00.000 Hunter Biden is not the ultimate public interest here.
00:32:03.000 It's President Joe Biden and what he may have done to sell his office.
00:32:06.000 I think we're going to get some explosive allegations in a few hours.
00:32:09.000 I sure hope so, John.
00:32:10.000 And you're welcome back anytime.
00:32:11.000 Thank you so much, John.
00:32:12.000 And for the great work.
00:32:14.000 Thank you.

00:33:18.000 Okay, I want to play a piece of tape here as we wrap, as we wind down this order, this order, this hour.
00:33:26.000 These DNC paid TikTok stars.
00:33:28.000 I could do a whole hour on this.
00:33:29.000 There is an operation.
00:33:30.000 The Democrat Party is funding these young people to spew Democrat talking points, and they're so shallow.
00:33:36.000 They're so stupid.
00:33:36.000 Get your kids off TikTok, everybody.
00:33:38.000 If you have a kid or grandkid on TikTok, why?
00:33:40.000 Why are you allowing it?
00:33:41.000 Why are you putting up with it?
00:33:42.000 It's garbage.
00:33:43.000 These people are getting tons of money from the Democrat Party.
00:33:46.000 Chris and Harry, I don't know.
00:33:48.000 I get them confused.
00:33:49.000 Chris Mowry and Harry Stitzen.
00:33:50.000 It's like they're made in a laboratory.
00:33:52.000 It's like they're made just for the purpose of brainless lip-syncing videos on the CCP app, TikTok, PlayCut 13.
00:34:03.000 What the Republican Party doesn't understand about Gen Z is we don't like you.
00:34:08.000 You claim you want to appeal to Gen Z, but you call us stupid.
00:34:11.000 You say we're dumb.
00:34:12.000 You say we're indoctrinated.
00:34:14.000 I promise it's a losing strategy.
00:34:16.000 And Gen Z is watching the Republican Party extremely closely as they destroy our environment, take rights away from women, do nothing about kids being shot in schools.
00:34:24.000 And if they think they can give the middle finger to our generation and get away with it, they're sorely mistaken.
00:34:30.000 Yeah, sorely mistaken.
00:34:31.000 You're a real tough guy.
00:34:32.000 You're welcome on the program anytime, by the way.
00:34:33.000 I'd love to have a conversation with you.
00:34:34.000 I won't pay you, unlike the Democrat Party, but I will let you talk and defend your position.
00:34:39.000 Can you talk more than 15 seconds on an edited TikTok video with stupid music over it with little subtitles?
00:34:44.000 Probably not.
00:34:45.000 Not exactly a bright group of people.
00:34:47.000 Get off TikTok.
00:34:48.000 You'll be a happier person for it.
00:34:49.000 Welcome anytime.
00:34:50.000 What is it?
00:34:50.000 Harry and Chris?
00:34:52.000 Yeah, real rocket scientists there.
