Summary

On this episode of The CharlieKirk Show, host Charlie Kirk is joined by Laura Flynn, CEO of the Remnant Alliance and Founder of Turning Point USA, to discuss the events that took place on July 13th and 14th in the United States of America. President Trump was shot and killed in a Pennsylvania suburb of Dayton, Ohio, and the media are covering it as if it were some kind of good thing. In fact, it was one of the most evil things that has ever happened to our country, and it has been happening for a very long time. Charlie and Laura discuss why this should not be seen as good news, and why we should all be thankful that Donald Trump was gunned down in the streets of Butler County, Pa. on the 13th of July, 2019, by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on the orders of Hillary Clinton and the White House. 00:01:24.000 Please take a seat.
00:01:25.000 It's great to be here.
00:01:27.000 Lots to cover.
00:01:28.000 First, Laura, amazing.
00:01:31.000 Mr. Flynn, I could listen to you all day long.
00:01:33.000 And you should all support the Remnant Alliance and Citizens Defending Freedom.
00:01:37.000 I'll tell you, I run a couple organizations and they're the real deal.
00:01:41.000 They are the real deal in the grassroots.
00:01:45.000 I'm becoming more and more open about this.
00:01:47.000 There is so much donor money wasted in the conservative movement of just a bunch of lying to donors.
00:01:54.000 This is the real deal in the grassroots actually getting results and driving results every single day.
00:02:01.000 I want to get to some questions because I know that there's a lot on your mind, but I want to just say a couple things.
00:02:07.000 This has been a long summer.
00:02:10.000 Can you believe this has been like the most politically eventful summer in history?
00:02:14.000 And we are a fatigued nation, and that's okay, because God calls us to rest in certain periods of time.
00:02:21.000 And I think we need to look at August as a time as a strategic retreat to reload, to rest, and then there's really no excuses from Labor Day onward to November.
00:02:34.000 But let's just kind of recap what we've been through just this year and then of course this summer.
00:02:38.000 So they indicted Trump four times.
00:02:41.000 He went to trial the entire month of May, which we thought was going to be the most kind of interesting thing happening in 2024, where he sits in a courtroom for a Soviet-style show trial for 34 counts, where they can't even tell you what the actual crime is.
00:02:59.000 And gets found guilty, even though they can't tell you what he's guilty of.
00:03:03.000 Then we enter June, and someone had this genius idea that we were supposed to have a summer debate of Trump versus Biden, where Biden just stared aimlessly into the oblivion for an hour and a half.
00:03:17.000 And we were told that all of a sudden the media is allowed to now report on the fact that we do not have a president, but we have a corpse as a president.
00:03:23.000 And then all this chatter that they're going to pull Joe Biden.
00:03:27.000 And then the Saturday before the RNC, before we don't even know who the VP is.
00:03:33.000 That's really important to this story, by the way.
00:03:36.000 There was no heir apparent.
00:03:38.000 There was no one that was chosen.
00:03:42.000 Trump gets shot and by two centimeters, our entire civilization was given grace by Almighty God.
00:03:48.000 Two centimeters.
00:03:51.000 Two centimeters.
00:03:52.000 And can I just say, I think it's... I mean, I'm in the media business.
00:03:56.000 I'm sorry, I know that we're not all great, but I think our show's pretty good.
00:04:01.000 And the... How the media has memory hold Trump getting shot is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.
00:04:10.000 Like, ever.
00:04:11.000 I mean, we're talking more about J.D.
00:04:13.000 Vance's opinions of cats more than Donald Trump getting shot.
00:04:17.000 And that was like two and a half weeks ago, just so we understand.
00:04:20.000 It'll be three weeks on Saturday since Donald Trump got shot.
00:04:23.000 And let me just say this, the more that we learn about what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, I don't think I could have had a more dark view of the federal government leading into July 13th, but I'll tell ya.
00:04:37.000 I gotta be a little careful the way I say this.
00:04:39.000 I think we all know what happened on July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:04:43.000 And praise the Lord.
00:04:45.000 And it wasn't even about Trump.
00:04:47.000 Maybe it was God who loves peace saying, I don't want to see America go into a civil war.
00:04:52.000 And how God works out things for his good, Romans 12, 2, we don't always know, but for those who love him, God is always working out things for his good.
00:04:59.000 So, Trump gets shot, they memory hole that, then we have an RNC, we know who our VP is, praise God, and then, oh yeah, they pull Joe Biden, and we're all supposed to like Kamala Harris now.
00:05:12.000 So she goes from the most hated person in American politics that everybody would make fun of, to more popular than Barack Obama.
00:05:20.000 And understandably, our side is like, oh my goodness, we have to go.
00:05:24.000 We fought with the trial, and we fought with the indictments, and we fought through, you know, the debate, and Trump almost got shot.
00:05:30.000 I need a rest.
00:05:30.000 I totally get that.
00:05:32.000 But get over it?
00:05:33.000 Like, have a week or two?
00:05:34.000 Because we are at war in this country for the future of the civilization, and the Democrats They've had basically three years of compressed energy that is now just being let out for what honestly is a hologram for the Democrat regime.
00:05:53.000 She's like the most unlikable, fakest person ever to run for the presidency.
00:05:56.000 She's also super dumb.
00:05:58.000 And, by the way, did you see her statement last night?
00:06:00.000 It was amazing.
00:06:01.000 The more she talks, the better.
00:06:02.000 I believe that.
00:06:03.000 She says, we must understand the power of diplomacy because diplomacy is all about the power of diplomacy.
00:06:08.000 And that was a really smart comment from her, by the way.
00:06:14.000 We understand the stakes of this.
00:06:16.000 The regime would have loved for that bullet to be two centimeters closer to Donald Trump's head.
00:06:21.000 That would have solved so many problems for them.
00:06:23.000 So many problems.
00:06:24.000 Think about it.
00:06:24.000 The RNC would have been in total tumult.
00:06:26.000 There's no heir apparent.
00:06:27.000 We might have had Nikki Haley be our nominee.
00:06:30.000 For the record, we would not have let that happen.
00:06:32.000 But someone would have introduced her.
00:06:34.000 Some delegates would have.
00:06:35.000 It would have been a complete disaster.
00:06:37.000 We would still be mourning, understandably, our leader.
00:06:40.000 I think that there would be American cities that would be in complete chaos.
00:06:43.000 And so we need to take a step back.
00:06:46.000 I only have so much time to kind of make this argument and ask the question, what was God really doing there?
00:06:52.000 And we were just talking about this at dinner, I don't know what God's purposes are, but allow me to introduce a hypothesis.
00:06:59.000 Maybe God spared Donald Trump's life to test his church.
00:07:05.000 Let's be honest, the American church is a joke in this country.
00:07:09.000 It is a church that is filled with cowards, And people that call themselves pastors but are really motivational speakers wearing skinny jeans with new sneakers that run TED Talks with rock concerts with organized parking and good coffee.
00:07:27.000 If that offends you, good.
00:07:29.000 Like Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, I don't care if I'm invited back or not.
00:07:37.000 This country was founded on a strong and courageous church.
00:07:41.000 This country was founded by Jonathan Mayhew and Whitefield and Jonathan Edwards, calling a nation first to repentance, then to revival.
00:07:49.000 You cannot have revival without repentance.
00:07:54.000 We were told a false teaching, and I see my friend Paul Blair here, who's one of the best at this.
00:07:58.000 We were told a false teaching in the 80s and 90s.
00:08:01.000 Stop talking about politics and only focus on the gospel.
00:08:06.000 But politics is just another term for the law.
00:08:10.000 You cannot teach repentance if you don't know what you need to repent from.
00:08:15.000 And if you don't know the law, well then, what am I supposed to repent from?
00:08:20.000 Because I'm the most perfect person ever.
00:08:23.000 So we went from a nation that worshiped God to now a nation that worships self.
00:08:29.000 What percentage of active Christians in the church could name the Ten Commandments?
00:08:34.000 Less than 15%.
00:08:35.000 You can?
00:08:37.000 Great.
00:08:39.000 I'm sure that many of you in this audience can.
00:08:42.000 But I bet not all of you.
00:08:43.000 Let's just be honest.
00:08:45.000 In the 1970s, every pastor had the Ten Commandments displayed in their congregation.
00:08:51.000 What is the significance of the Decalogue?
00:08:55.000 It is very simple.
00:08:56.000 You can't hold these up within one hour.
00:08:59.000 You will violate two out of the Ten Commandments as you open up your phone.
00:09:03.000 Repentance leads to revival, which leads to Jesus.
00:09:06.000 And as a nation, we've decided that the law is mean.
00:09:11.000 We've decided the law is not nice.
00:09:13.000 Do you know that nice is found nowhere in the Bible?
00:09:16.000 That nice literally means idiot in the original Latin phrase.
00:09:19.000 You know how many times I hear from pastors, well, you're not very nice, Charlie.
00:09:23.000 Bingo!
00:09:24.000 I don't strive to be nice.
00:09:26.000 I strive to be obedient to the Lord.
00:09:28.000 I strive to tell the truth.
00:09:31.000 Don't care if I'm nice.
00:09:33.000 Completely irrelevant.
00:09:35.000 And so as a nation, we look at the state of the American church.
00:09:39.000 We failed during COVID.
00:09:40.000 Let's be honest.
00:09:40.000 Many of you passed the test, but I made the worst prediction in the history of American podcasting ever.
00:09:45.000 By the way, this is how I got into all this in the church world, because I usually do college campus stuff.
00:09:49.000 I had no interest to be involved in speaking at churches, and I know my friend Steve Smothman is here.
00:09:54.000 I'm speaking at his church next week.
00:09:55.000 And no interest, no desire.
00:09:57.000 I was a Bible-believing Christian.
00:09:58.000 Gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:10:00.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:10:02.000 But I had no plans to do any church organizing or speak at any events like this.
00:10:05.000 I was like, okay, you guys got that.
00:10:07.000 I'll try to save the college campuses.
00:10:09.000 But I made the worst prediction in the history of American podcasting.
00:10:12.000 So all the lockdowns started, and I was telling everyone, hey guys, this is communism, this is Marxism, why are we doing this?
00:10:18.000 Oh, because, you know, COVID's gonna kill everybody.
00:10:20.000 It's like, well, obviously they're lying, because that's what the government does, but, you know, I guess I was just a conspiracy theorist.
00:10:24.000 So, but then I made a prediction.
00:10:26.000 I said this, these lockdowns will not last, because the church will resist them, because the church loves liberty.
00:10:33.000 And that was the dumbest thing I've ever said on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:10:37.000 The church doesn't love liberty.
00:10:39.000 The church loves a lot of other things.
00:10:40.000 They like tithes and offerings.
00:10:43.000 They like bigger buildings and bigger budgets and maybe more baptisms.
00:10:48.000 But they don't love liberty.
00:10:50.000 Liberty is not man's idea, it's God's idea.
00:10:52.000 And let's remember how the church failed so miserably.
00:10:55.000 We allowed them to take Easter from us because of a bad flu.
00:10:59.000 We allowed them to take Pentecost from us.
00:11:01.000 We allowed them... The church stayed closed during a time where the nation needed us most.
00:11:10.000 And if you are one of those pastors, I hope you repent, because you should repent.
00:11:15.000 Because kids killed themselves in your community because you stayed closed.
00:11:19.000 People overdosed on drugs because the church stayed closed.
00:11:22.000 Oh, you could watch me online.
00:11:23.000 Okay, watching church online is like watching a fireplace on YouTube.
00:11:26.000 You get all the effects but none of the warmth.
00:11:29.000 Church is meant to happen in person, the same way that it happened 2,000 years ago.
00:11:34.000 Oh, you could watch me online.
00:11:35.000 What do you know, a podcaster or are you a pastor?
00:11:38.000 Big difference.
00:11:40.000 During the Summer of Love, the race riots, otherwise known as Floydapalooza, as the country was burning to a crisp, the pastors who told us that I'll never talk about politics, it's too controversial, were taking a knee and kissing the feet of their black congregants saying that we must have a racial reckoning because we're systemically racist to our core, because I watched a 90-second Instagram video on race relations and I'm an expert.
00:12:03.000 And many pastors were afraid to speak out against this bitter lie from the pit of hell, otherwise known as critical race theory, because they didn't want to be called a racist.
00:12:11.000 So I looked at this, I said, wow, not only are we closing down, masking our children, our schools are closed, we're burning our streets, and the church is silent, and it all made sense.
00:12:20.000 And great thanks to Steve Maxwell and Paul Blair, and so many people to help connect the dots for me.
00:12:24.000 I was in the first one, I said, oh my goodness, it's all happening because the church is no longer counselor to the king in this nation.
00:12:32.000 And if we are honest with ourselves, we have not recovered from 2020.
00:12:37.000 We have not recovered from COVID.
00:12:39.000 We have not recovered from the vaccine.
00:12:40.000 We have not recovered from the election.
00:12:42.000 We are a damaged nation that has PTSD that has never come to terms of what actually happened in that original sin of 2020.
00:12:51.000 The lying, the ferocity, the aggression.
00:12:54.000 It was as if the demons from the pit of hell were unleashed and pastors were like, cool bro, do I get my stimulus money?
00:13:01.000 Or do I get my PPP money?
00:13:03.000 Yeah, it's cool if you burn down my local library.
00:13:05.000 I don't care.
00:13:06.000 But just go burn down the Wendy's, too, while you're at it.
00:13:09.000 Now, I know many of you are not in that category.
00:13:12.000 And churches slowly started to open and slowly started to come up.
00:13:16.000 But in times of crisis, if the American church is not the standard-bearer or the conscious of the nation, who's going to be?
00:13:24.000 Fox News?
00:13:26.000 Talk Radio?
00:13:28.000 So you have a civilization that the foundation was once the church, and then we expect to get back to liberty without the church doing its job.
00:13:36.000 So what does that job look like?
00:13:38.000 It's not that hard.
00:13:40.000 You read the Bible, and you do what the Bible tells you to do.
00:13:45.000 I know that is so...
00:13:47.000 Hard for people to grasp.
00:13:48.000 For example, Jeremiah 29 7.
00:13:50.000 Demand the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.
00:13:54.000 You pray and fast for your leaders by name, as it says in 1 Timothy.
00:13:57.000 You care about your nation so much that you are willing to civilly disobey evil because you love God more Then you care about what the government can do to you.
00:14:06.000 Exodus 1, one of my favorite parts.
00:14:08.000 The midwives to the Hebrews disobeyed Pharaoh when Pharaoh said, throw the babies in the Nile.
00:14:13.000 Because why?
00:14:14.000 They feared God and God dealt well with the midwives.
00:14:18.000 It says it as clear as day.
00:14:20.000 But pastors will say, you know, I don't want to be political, I just want to preach the gospel.
00:14:24.000 Okay, then get a pair of scissors and go into the Word of God and take out Esther, Mordecai, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Joseph, because you've got a lot of editing to do about people that we consider heroes in the Bible that were awfully political while you want to be comfortable.
00:14:42.000 And I am talking this way because I don't want to be Christian famous.
00:14:45.000 I'm not a theologian.
00:14:46.000 I'm not a pastor.
00:14:47.000 But I am something.
00:14:48.000 I'm a believer and I'm a patriot.
00:14:50.000 And I see this country collapsing on a daily basis.
00:14:52.000 I got two kids under two.
00:14:54.000 I'm busier than I know what to do with.
00:14:55.000 I got 600 people on staff chasing ballots.
00:14:57.000 I got 500 people on campuses.
00:14:59.000 And I know there's only one way to save this country.
00:15:02.000 To awake the beast that is the American church.
00:15:05.000 And I am very low on patience lately.
00:15:08.000 And I'll tell you why.
00:15:10.000 Every so often I get emails from people, well Charlie, my pastor, you know, doesn't want to speak out.
00:15:14.000 Leave the church!
00:15:16.000 Stop going to churches that are run by cowards!
00:15:19.000 Period!
00:15:20.000 Stop giving them money!
00:15:21.000 Stop going to those churches.
00:15:35.000 There's only one thing they understand.
00:15:37.000 When people stand up and walk out and they stop writing the checks to them.
00:15:42.000 Oh, and my favorite, by the way, all of you, we need to send you out like missionaries for this because we got 99 days.
00:15:47.000 We got like less than that.
00:15:49.000 North Carolina starts voting in 35 days.
00:15:51.000 Pennsylvania starts voting in 45 days.
00:15:53.000 We have this short window.
00:15:55.000 And I have to hear the amount of self-righteous complaining from Christians.
00:16:01.000 Well, Charlie, you know, I really don't like Donald Trump's tone lately.
00:16:04.000 Time out.
00:16:06.000 Which one is going to stop children being sold into sex slavery on the border?
00:16:10.000 Kamala Harris or Donald Trump?
00:16:12.000 But Charlie, I don't think Donald Trump is a very good role model for my church.
00:16:16.000 Voting is not sending a valentine.
00:16:19.000 It is a chess move of the type of world that you want to live in.
00:16:25.000 I'm not asking you to put him on your elder board.
00:16:28.000 I'm not asking to have him at the pulpit of your church, even though you should do that if you were to want to come to your community.
00:16:33.000 Very simple.
00:16:34.000 Fill in a piece of paper of which worldview is closer to the Word of God.
00:16:39.000 The worldview.
00:16:40.000 Of no limits on abortion, of mutilating children because of the transgender agenda, of no borders, and war in every hemisphere, and lying, and corruption, and the most demonic activity that we have seen in the history of this country, or a man who has been shot, saved by the grace of God, served one term, had a term robbed from him, was unjustly tried to be put in prison, and did everything he said he was going to do from defending Israel and securing the border, but you don't like his tweets?
00:17:07.000 I have no patience for you anymore, people.
00:17:09.000 I am sick of this.
00:17:15.000 Other than that, I think things are going great.
00:17:19.000 And you caught me on a great night here, Steve.
00:17:23.000 And I'll tell you why.
00:17:24.000 Because we're in the trenches every day.
00:17:26.000 We're registering voters.
00:17:27.000 We're chasing ballots.
00:17:28.000 And I look at these, and my friend Steve Dase is here, who's just been doing great, and I understand at times when Christians are a little hesitant.
00:17:38.000 However, it's up to all of us to push and to pressure and to make sure the stakes of this election are very clear.
00:17:46.000 I'll close with this and we'll do some questions.
00:17:49.000 In 2016, Donald Trump received 72% of the evangelical Christian vote.
00:17:52.000 In 2020, it was 68%.
00:17:53.000 A four-point decrease.
00:17:56.000 And I'm afraid it's going to be even lower than that this cycle if we don't do our job.
00:17:59.000 I see a lot of warning signs, but it can change immediately if the rank-and-file Christian and the rank-and-file pastor will teach biblical citizenship and biblical truth from now until the election.
00:18:14.000 What a tragedy it would be in Arizona, Georgia, Arizona my home state, Georgia, Pennsylvania, if we fall 30,000 ballots short or 10,000 ballots short.
00:18:23.000 Do you know we fell 41,000 ballots short in three states in 2020 despite all of their garbage?
00:18:30.000 41,000.
00:18:30.000 And this is going to be similarly razor-thin.
00:18:34.000 What a shame it would be if a pastor was like, meh, it's not a big difference for me.
00:18:38.000 You know what Kamala Harris will do because she did it as California Attorney General?
00:18:42.000 She will deploy the Department of Justice and the IRS after every single one of your churches.
00:18:48.000 She will go after... Her stated position with Elizabeth Warren is to shut down every pregnancy crisis center in the country.
00:18:55.000 You have a pregnancy crisis clinic in your...
00:18:58.000 I hope so.
00:18:58.000 In your community?
00:18:59.000 There's 3,200 of them.
00:19:01.000 They want to shut them all down.
00:19:03.000 That is the stated position.
00:19:04.000 She was the California Attorney General prosecutor that put David Daleiden in jail.
00:19:09.000 You know what his crime was?
00:19:11.000 His crime was being a journalist exposing the fact that Planned Parenthood sells baby parts for cash.
00:19:19.000 She was the one that boastfully said, I am going to throw every law in the California legal code after this journalist who exposed the fact that Planned Parenthood was literally having lunches selling baby parts from aborted babies for thousands of dollars.
00:19:35.000 And she was proud of that.
00:19:37.000 She's the first VP ever to visit a murder site called an abortion clinic.
00:19:42.000 Ever.
00:19:44.000 I don't think we've ever had an election where the differences were this dramatic and this stark.
00:19:48.000 But there is this malaise of confusion that I believe is from the pit of hell, that has infected the church.
00:19:54.000 And it's an attitude of over-religiosity at times, of self-righteousness, of smugness, of I am better than you, of that I know the word better than Donald Trump, and I'm some sort of, like, really tough guy because I can read biblical Hebrew and Donald Trump barely can say, you know, 2 Corinthians.
00:20:11.000 God uses people In unusual ways.
00:20:11.000 Guess what?
00:20:14.000 From King Cyrus to Samson.
00:20:16.000 And Samson and Trump have a lot in common, including being very courageous and great hair.
00:20:21.000 That's very, very important.
00:20:25.000 It is the worldview you want to live in.
00:20:27.000 It's the type of government in the form of structure that you want.
00:20:30.000 And it is the open question, and we'll have some questions here.
00:20:33.000 We will win or we will lose based on how vocal and how active the American church is.
00:20:39.000 We should hold Christians to a much higher standard than college kids.
00:20:44.000 You know how often people say, but Charlie, you know, these college kids are foolish and don't do anything.
00:20:48.000 I said, yes, most pastors are too.
00:20:51.000 And guess what?
00:20:52.000 Pastors will be judged a lot harsher for their lack of wisdom and courage than some purple-haired trans kid at the University of North Texas.
00:21:01.000 Because at least the purple-haired trans kid doesn't do evil in the name of God.
00:21:05.000 Thanks, guys.
00:21:05.000 Let's do some questions.
00:21:13.000 We can do some questions until they pull me off stage.
00:21:20.000 How great is Louie Gommert, by the way?
00:21:21.000 What a great guy.
00:21:24.000 All right.
00:21:24.000 Who wants to ask a question?
00:21:25.000 We can do roaming mics.
00:21:26.000 I don't know how we're doing this.
00:21:28.000 Yeah, sure.
00:21:29.000 Yeah, it's a great question.
00:21:41.000 So our playbook is rooted in truth, but we are always told that the way that we do things is the wrong way.
00:21:48.000 And it turns out it was the correct way.
00:21:49.000 What do I mean by that?
00:21:50.000 We take the most vocal, Truthful arguments possible with zero pandering whatsoever, and you actually win the most people over, when you do not try to water down your message, and you go into hostile environments.
00:22:07.000 I will go to college campuses, by the way, I'm doing 21 college campus visits this fall, the most I've ever done.
00:22:12.000 I'm going to UW-Madison, I'm going to University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Penn State, University of Pittsburgh, I'm going to Georgia Tech, I'm going to University of Georgia, I'm going all over the place, right?
00:22:22.000 I will be asked questions about the trans thing.
00:22:24.000 So most pastors will say, for example, that Preston Prinkle loser, whatever, that guy who's involved in the Campus Crusade stuff.
00:22:32.000 It's like, well, you know, we must use gender, the pronouns that trans people want to use.
00:22:36.000 And I'll say, no, I refuse to lie.
00:22:38.000 I will not call a man a she or a woman a man.
00:22:41.000 Like, I refuse to do that.
00:22:43.000 And, in fact, I reject the entire premise of transgenderism.
00:22:46.000 I don't think it really exists.
00:22:47.000 I think it's a mental disease, and we've allowed it to all of a sudden become an identity.
00:22:51.000 I think that there are two sexes, zero genders, and unlimited personalities.
00:22:55.000 And what we used to call a personality disorder, we now call a gender disorder, that we treat with body treatment when it should be brain treatment.
00:23:02.000 So, transgenderism is a brain problem, not a body problem, and that's how we should go about it.
00:23:07.000 People say, well, Charlie, you know, most people criticize, Charlie, that's too spicy.
00:23:10.000 Well, you know we have a big problem at Turning Point USA.
00:23:13.000 We cannot find rooms big enough to fit all the students that want to attend our on-campus events.
00:23:19.000 There is something very promising happening on campuses.
00:23:21.000 They want to see the truth.
00:23:23.000 We see it on social media.
00:23:24.000 We see it in our numbers.
00:23:25.000 And the numbers and the data is showing young men are the most conservative they have been in 50 years.
00:23:32.000 50 years, everybody!
00:23:34.000 Okay, next question.
00:23:35.000 Yeah, Charlie, in your opinion, has there been enough done to provide election integrity for this next election so it matters who runs?
00:23:46.000 Yeah, that's a great question.
00:23:48.000 The answer is no.
00:23:49.000 So, and I'm very honest, we have probably not done enough to secure the integrity of our elections.
00:23:54.000 But you say, but Charlie, then why keep fighting?
00:23:56.000 Because we don't know exactly to what margin are they're able to cheat or to what margin they're able to steal it.
00:24:03.000 So look, first let me just tell you my theological attitude.
00:24:06.000 Even if there was almost no chance of us winning, everyone should still fight because it's about honoring God, not about the probability of the outcome.
00:24:14.000 That's number one.
00:24:16.000 It is about obedience, not outcome.
00:24:19.000 That's number one.
00:24:20.000 Number two, I'll give you some promising news.
00:24:22.000 This last week, probably the most, the best news of the week that was not covered by the media, as many of you know, we have hundreds of full-time ballot chasers in Arizona where we are going to try to drive low-propensity conservative Republican turnout to make it, quote, too big to rig, right?
00:24:38.000 So we tested that hypothesis this last week and last couple of weeks.
00:24:42.000 Where, as you know, in Maricopa County, we have some of the most broken elections in the country, right?
00:24:46.000 Long voting, signature verification issues, and the person largely responsible for that is this not-great-guy-by-the-name-of-Steven-Richard, the Maricopa County recorder.
00:24:56.000 And he constantly would go to the media, and he was, you know, close with Biden, talking about how the election was not stolen, all of that.
00:25:02.000 So we launched a small-but-mighty grassroots challenge against Steven Richard, with no help of the Republican apparatus.
00:25:09.000 No money, no support, but we had, thanks to many of you who donate to Turning Point Action, hundreds of full-time ballot chasers to try to drive low-propensity Republican turnout.
00:25:18.000 Well, on Tuesday, despite the fact that we were outspent like 30-to-1 and they had a third-party challenger, we defeated Stephen Richer on Tuesday in the Republican primary in Arizona.
00:25:29.000 And the significance of this is that if they could have found a way to rig to keep him in, they would have done it.
00:25:36.000 And they probably did.
00:25:37.000 So we might have probably won by 60,000 votes, not 20,000 votes.
00:25:40.000 But that was such an amazing, what we call a red pill, or a promising development, because now they have lost their stakeholder who oversees the largest county in Arizona, who oversees one of the most important states in the country.
00:25:54.000 We can win.
00:25:55.000 And it's with driving higher turnout and making it so that the volume of the ballots are so great that it is so overwhelming that they basically throw their hands up and say, we can't engage on that.
00:26:07.000 So I'm not going to deceive you.
00:26:09.000 There are still there's still a lot wrong.
00:26:11.000 With signature verification, a lot wrong with ballot custody because our Republicans have been too weak and have failed to actually act on the issues in front of us.
00:26:19.000 So I will say, I'll close with this, we'll do another question.
00:26:22.000 I'll say, there's lots of top types of fraud, but the greatest type of fraud in American politics is people who agree with us that don't vote.
00:26:32.000 That is a fraud that we are committing against ourselves.
00:26:35.000 So my passion, my obsession, is driving every single person who passively or very forcefully agrees with us to make sure they vote, vote correctly, and vote in huge numbers.
00:26:48.000 And my prayer is that we do our part and God does only what God can do going into November.
00:26:54.000 But this week in Arizona was a very promising development that bad guys can lose even with corrupt elections.
00:26:59.000 Alright, next question.
00:27:01.000 Yes, yes ma'am.
00:27:02.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:27:03.000 I'm a huge fan.
00:27:04.000 I have your book.
00:27:06.000 Love it.
00:27:06.000 I'll sign it for you.
00:27:07.000 Thank you.
00:27:09.000 My daughter actually attended your speech at Texas Tech when you were there in March, I believe.
00:27:17.000 And she's not political at all.
00:27:19.000 But my question to you specifically is, obviously a lot of us in the room are above your average age of the people that you talk to.
00:27:27.000 So what do you suggest for those of us who are the parents or grandparents of college-aged kids?
00:27:34.000 How do we, what's your suggestion on how do we How do we promote this?
00:27:41.000 How do we do this from a grassroots effort?
00:27:44.000 What's the best way to get involved?
00:27:46.000 What's the best way to push our movement forward so that we are successful?
00:27:51.000 Not just in November, but for years to come.
00:27:55.000 Thank you, and my answer is not directed at you, so just understand.
00:27:59.000 Do not send your kids to college, everybody.
00:28:00.000 That is the first answer.
00:28:01.000 It's not directed towards you.
00:28:03.000 But, please, I'm a subject matter expert on this.
00:28:05.000 I wrote a whole book called The College Scam.
00:28:07.000 Colleges are actively destroying the country, and conservative Christians that keep on sending our prized possessions to colleges, you're playing Russian roulette with your kids' future, and if they survive, you're very, very lucky, and you should be very blessed, and thank God, but that's not directed towards you.
00:28:21.000 Okay, so the first thing is that the education of your children and their worldview needs to start at age two or three, and it needs to be a daily discussion about what are our values, what are American values, so that if they go to college, then it's not even a question.
00:28:36.000 As far as what all of you can do, the answer is so much.
00:28:40.000 Whether it be first and foremost, as I said, leave the church if your church is not outspoken.
00:28:45.000 Go to a good church that is, and assist them on a daily basis, or a weekly basis, or if you can, a monthly basis.
00:28:51.000 Become a force multiplier in your local community.
00:28:54.000 Become a precinct committeeman.
00:28:55.000 Join your local state party.
00:28:57.000 Join your local county party.
00:28:58.000 Or, let me give you another call to action that we have going on the show right now.
00:29:02.000 At Turning Point Action, we have a donor that has funded this.
00:29:04.000 We will help put you up in a hotel and give you a stipend for two weeks before the election if you want to leave Texas and go to Arizona or Wisconsin and chase ballots and go get low-propensity conservative turnout.
00:29:17.000 That's something you can do.
00:29:19.000 You can say, hey, I'm giving three weeks vacation, you know, from my boss, and I'm going to give two weeks to my country, and I'm going to go to Maricopa County, and Charlie's going to put me to work.
00:29:27.000 If you're interested in that, you guys can go to our website, you can sign up for it.
00:29:30.000 Our goal is to have 10,000 out-of-state patriots flood Arizona and flood Wisconsin in a way that we've never seen before.
00:29:38.000 So there's so much that you can do.
00:29:41.000 And beyond the election...
00:29:43.000 Beyond the election is that you must commit yourself to learning and absorbing what's happening.
00:29:48.000 So I love about General Flynn and love about Lara Logan.
00:29:51.000 The information warfare is the war that is the most important.
00:29:55.000 And honestly, I'm very hopeful.
00:29:56.000 We're doing much better in information war.
00:29:58.000 Wouldn't you agree, Lara, than we were doing five years ago?
00:30:00.000 We're not great yet, but the amount of knowledge and wisdom that all of you have is so impressive.
00:30:07.000 I'm in the photo line, and you guys know your stuff.
00:30:10.000 And that is a threat to the regime.
00:30:11.000 You know why?
00:30:12.000 Because if they try to take me out, which they're going to, of course, or they're going to try to take, you know, Michael Flynn out, it doesn't matter.
00:30:19.000 The knowledge has now been decentralized into millions of different people that if you are actively learning and actively absorbing, then our movement is so much harder to stop, and then, you know, ten new Charlie Kirks can rise up if they try to take one out.
00:30:34.000 That is why learning and actively knowing what is happening in your country is important.
00:30:38.000 In fact, let me go a step further.
00:30:40.000 I believe that you have a moral duty.
00:30:43.000 given by God to know what is happening in your country on a day-by-day basis.
00:30:48.000 How many pastors are actually telling their congregation that?
00:30:51.000 That you have a moral duty to know what's happening in your country.
00:30:54.000 You are not allowed to tune out.
00:30:56.000 You're not allowed to say, oh, this is not for me, I only watch football.
00:30:59.000 No, God put you here as shepherds of this nation to care and concern about this great republic.
00:31:06.000 You are not, I think, biblically allowed to just check out and pass the buck.
00:31:10.000 Yes, next question.
00:31:11.000 Do you recommend early voting or voting on Election Day, and what would you say to the people who say that you have to vote on Election Day to make it harder for the other side to cheat?
00:31:20.000 Yeah, that's fine.
00:31:20.000 If you want to vote on Election Day, that's terrific.
00:31:22.000 But let me tell you a true story that I think is very important.
00:31:26.000 I used to be an only-on-Election-Day guy, and I would say, have no exceptions, no qualms.
00:31:31.000 And then I went to go vote on Election Day for Carrier Lake in Arizona in 2022.
00:31:35.000 And half of our machines failed, and 130,000 people were not able to vote that day.
00:31:42.000 She would have been governor of Arizona if that 100,000 people potentially would have voted early.
00:31:48.000 Now you might say, but Charlie, they would have just manufactured ballots and all that.
00:31:51.000 Maybe.
00:31:52.000 That's some guesswork, okay?
00:31:54.000 But I know for a fact that people that were waiting in line for three hours to go vote at their precinct in Arizona That's a big problem.
00:32:02.000 Let me tell you my fear of just waiting till election day.
00:32:05.000 Number one, you're going to have a drop-off, meaning you're not going to have a one-to-one correlation.
00:32:11.000 Steve Maxwell will tell you, you probably sold 550 tickets here, and 520 people show up.
00:32:16.000 And this is something you pay for.
00:32:18.000 Having 100% attendance in anything is almost unheard of.
00:32:21.000 On election day, it's the same thing.
00:32:23.000 Let me tell you my philosophy on early voting.
00:32:25.000 I'm not saying it's the best way of voting, but it's time that we must engage in early voting month.
00:32:30.000 Number one, election day is the last day of voting, not the first day of voting.
00:32:34.000 Number two, our supporters of Donald Trump and our movement are so passionate, we should give them more days, not less days, to try to vote.
00:32:43.000 Number three, which is this.
00:32:45.000 They're so passionate, shouldn't we give them an opportunity to vote earlier than later?
00:32:49.000 And finally, and most importantly, many members of our movement do not have the physical capacity to stand in line for two to three hours in the Arizona sun in a state that we need to win.
00:33:00.000 I would rather have them vote in person early voting two days before election day than have their vote be jeopardized when all of a sudden half of our voting centers go down again and we have to say, oh it's not Carrie Lake that's governor, instead it's Katie Hobbs that governor.
00:33:14.000 If you are an election day voter, that means you're a four out of four propensity voter and this is not directed towards you.
00:33:19.000 And the final point I'll make is this.
00:33:21.000 I'll tell you about my neighbor who's a plumber.
00:33:24.000 He has not voted in any election.
00:33:27.000 Getting him to vote is very difficult.
00:33:29.000 But I told him, I said, you know, you could just fill out a piece of paper and send it in the mail and vote.
00:33:33.000 Oh, really?
00:33:34.000 I didn't know that.
00:33:35.000 Is it better for him not to vote at all, or fill in a mail-in ballot and put it into the system?
00:33:39.000 It's probably better to have him vote through a mail-in ballot, have some chance that it's counted, than no chance whatsoever.
00:33:45.000 You want to rig our elections?
00:33:47.000 Make sure that our people don't show up at all.
00:33:49.000 That's my philosophy on early voting.
00:33:51.000 I have no problem with people that want to vote on election day, though.
00:33:53.000 Yes, final question.
00:33:55.000 Yes, you've said a lot of very wise things, but my mind can't hold on to them all at once.
00:34:03.000 So, do you have an elevator speech written somewhere for recruiting people to the cause?
00:34:12.000 And what do they do once they hit the streets?
00:34:17.000 Okay.
00:34:18.000 So, like, recruiting for the cause?
00:34:19.000 Yeah.
00:34:20.000 It's a great question.
00:34:21.000 So we talk about this every day on our program.
00:34:24.000 Those of you that watch the program are joking around with me.
00:34:26.000 It's called Attracting New Voters.
00:34:28.000 Okay, so step one, buy a MAGA hat.
00:34:31.000 Step two, wear the MAGA hat.
00:34:31.000 Okay?
00:34:35.000 Thank you so much.
00:34:36.000 Step three, people will start looking at you.
00:34:40.000 And you will know immediately what side they're on.
00:34:45.000 You then become a magnet of low-propensity voters.
00:34:48.000 When a low-propensity voter attracts you, you get to know them, what is your name, and then you ask the most simple question.
00:34:54.000 Are you registered to vote?
00:34:56.000 And if they say yes, say, do you vote with regularity or some elections do you not vote?
00:35:02.000 And they'll say, oh, I'm kind of this, and then now all of a sudden you got them.
00:35:05.000 And it's your job to convert the hat into a ballot.
00:35:09.000 You do that a thousand times, you'll win Texas by 25 points.
00:35:17.000 That's an oversimplification to say that you should go into the public and be advocates in ways that you otherwise would not think.
00:35:22.000 I'll close with this.
00:35:23.000 I want to reiterate, support this amazing organization.
00:35:25.000 Steve Maxwell and the whole team are doing such critical and critical work.
00:35:29.000 This election is a test of the American church and a test of those of us who love the Lord and love liberty.
00:35:37.000 We should hold ourselves and our fellow pastors and our fellow believers to a higher standard.
00:35:43.000 What we are going to see in these next two and a half months is unlike anything we've ever seen before.
00:35:48.000 It could be cyber warfare, Middle East war.
00:35:51.000 I don't think the election has actually even begun yet.
00:35:53.000 It has not actually effectively even started.
00:35:56.000 And so, instead of looking at the macro, look at the micro.
00:36:00.000 What is my task?
00:36:01.000 What is my purpose?
00:36:02.000 What is my duty?
00:36:04.000 I made a promise to our donors, Doug Deason knows this, and our supporters.
00:36:08.000 Here's what I will promise out of you.
00:36:10.000 I will work the hardest I have ever worked in my 12-year career towards this election.
00:36:15.000 And I will collapse on election day.
00:36:18.000 And then at that moment, I'll be able to say, Lord, I did my part.
00:36:24.000 I honored you and I acted obediently.
00:36:26.000 If it's President Kamala Harris, I will not have bitterness in my stomach.
00:36:30.000 You know why?
00:36:30.000 Because I did my part.
00:36:33.000 That's my challenge for all of you.
00:36:37.000 If every single person, you understand the power in this room, the force multiplication potential in this room is immense.
00:36:44.000 This room could win the entire election.
00:36:46.000 If you became on fire and did Sunday sermon after Sunday sermon, talking about biblical citizenship, if you started gathering the pastors in your community, you started doing deployments, saying we're gonna go send a thousand of our congregants to Arizona to go chase ballots, we're gonna go send 2,000 people to Georgia to go chase ballots, this entire election, this could be saved by this room alone.
00:37:08.000 And so the question is this, do we want it or do we want to stay comfortable?
00:37:11.000 This nation was founded by people like you in this room.
00:37:15.000 Liberty is God's idea, not man's idea.
00:37:18.000 And liberty is on the ballot on November 5th.
00:37:21.000 I hope we step up and act.
00:37:22.000 God bless you guys.
00:37:23.000 Thank you so much.
00:37:24.000 Thanks so much for listening everybody.
