00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:02.000 Once again, this is my last my last episode of the show.
00:00:06.000 Producer Andrew Colvet filling in for Charlie, who's at the border.
00:00:09.000 He'll be back tomorrow telling you all about it.
00:00:11.000 But in the meantime, we have Alex Marlowe editor-in-chief of Breitbart News.
00:00:15.000 We talk about Elon Musk.
00:00:17.000 Is he a good guy or a bad guy?
00:00:19.000 Upon the backdrop of the CCP Olympics, we got defectors winning golds for China.
00:00:25.000 The world's upside down, folks.
00:00:27.000 It's insulting.
00:00:28.000 It's degrading.
00:00:29.000 And it's a disgusting story that we break down right here on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:33.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
00:00:33.000 Buckle up.
00:00:34.000 Here we go.
00:00:36.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:37.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:40.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:43.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:46.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:47.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:48.000 His spirit is love of this country.
00:00:50.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:57.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:05.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:09.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:18.000 Trending on Twitter is don't say gay.
00:01:22.000 Don't say gay.
00:01:23.000 Now, you might be saying to yourself, that's a pretty weird thing to be trending on Twitter.
00:01:27.000 Well, most things are pretty weird that trend on Twitter.
00:01:33.000 Here's the update on this.
00:01:35.000 The Biden administration has denounced a bill being advanced by Florida Republicans that would ban the discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation in K through 12 schools.
00:01:47.000 Now, this is compliments of the great Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida, who is advancing this bill, which advocates for, quote, this bill says that you may not encourage classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students.
00:02:14.000 Conservative advocates have argued that the bill advances parental rights in education by allowing parents to sue public schools they believe are discussing LGBTQ issues should the bill become law.
00:02:26.000 Now, Governor DeSantis has publicly voiced his support for this bill, Cut 85.
00:02:34.000 I want to hear what the good governor has to say.
00:02:36.000 Play Cut 85.
00:02:38.000 And look, at the end of the day, you know, my goal is to educate kids on the subjects math, reading, science, all the things that are so important.
00:02:48.000 I don't want the schools to kind of be a playground for ideological disputes or to try to inject.
00:02:56.000 So I think it's just, let's get parents involved.
00:02:59.000 Let's make sure anything that's discussed is age appropriate, but let's keep the focus on where it needs to be.
00:03:05.000 That's absolutely right.
00:03:06.000 So he said something there that I think is particularly important.
00:03:10.000 He said, I don't want it to become, I don't want the schools to become a playground of ideological controversy.
00:03:19.000 It's really, really, really important.
00:03:21.000 Now, Charlie touched on this yesterday, but Turning Point USA was in the news.
00:03:25.000 Washington Post did a whole piece that was arguing Turning Point Academy that it's a project.
00:03:33.000 That's not what the name of it is.
00:03:34.000 That's what they called it, but it's a project to provide resources, major initiative to provide resources and curriculum to students, high schoolers, teaching pods all across America.
00:03:46.000 Now, the cut against this project is that it is partisan.
00:03:51.000 That is not at all what it is.
00:03:53.000 It's simply a throwback to a neutral form of education that American students enjoyed across the country probably five, 10 years ago.
00:04:01.000 Charlie often states that he thinks his was basically about the cutoff line of getting a old school, normal American education, one that upheld the greatness of America, that paid our founders their proper due, that was not ahistorical, that was not revising history.
00:04:20.000 Now, this is what the problem that a lot of the progressives have with this anti-CRT movement that has popped up.
00:04:30.000 They say that, oh, we're ahistorical.
00:04:33.000 We don't want to tell the real history.
00:04:34.000 No, the real history you don't want to tell.
00:04:37.000 Trying to claim that the United States was started in 1619 and not 1776, that is the definition of ahistorical.
00:04:45.000 Now, opponents of this don't say gay bill include, guess who?
00:04:53.000 Mayor Pete.
00:04:54.000 Let's play Cut 84.
00:04:56.000 Absolutely.
00:04:57.000 Yeah.
00:04:58.000 And the reason is that it tells youth who are different or whose families are different that there's something wrong with them out of the gate.
00:05:06.000 And I do think that contributes to the shocking levels of suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts among LGBTQ youth.
00:05:14.000 Not surprising.
00:05:16.000 Now, he said something, again, this is a total lie.
00:05:21.000 All the bill does is say, let's not have teachers ramming it down the throats of students at an age where it's not appropriate.
00:05:28.000 It's not saying that you can't be gay and still go to high school.
00:05:31.000 It's not saying that students can't talk about it at recess.
00:05:34.000 It's not saying that anything negative is going to happen to a student if they come out as gay or bisexual, whatever.
00:05:43.000 All it's saying is teachers should not be the ones enforcing, encouraging, directing the students down a path that their parents may or may not approve of.
00:05:56.000 I'll never forget that video of that California mom that was crying in front of the school board, saying that you robbed me of the opportunity to be encouraging of my daughter.
00:06:09.000 Now, I'm not saying that that would have been my reaction, but it was a poignant moment.
00:06:13.000 And this strikes at the heart of this bill.
00:06:14.000 It's a parental rights bill.
00:06:17.000 It's saying that it's the parents' job to enforce or not enforce certain values and moralities upon their children.
00:06:25.000 It's not the school's job.
00:06:27.000 It's not teachers' jobs.
00:06:28.000 It's not Randy Weingarten's jobs.
00:06:31.000 It's not the governor's job.
00:06:34.000 It's the parents' job.
00:06:36.000 Now, McAuliffe in Virginia, obviously lost the governor's election.
00:06:41.000 Thank goodness.
00:06:43.000 But one of the reasons he lost was because he was not standing up for parental rights in schools.
00:06:50.000 Governor Young did, and he won.
00:06:52.000 It was a major issue.
00:06:54.000 Whose children are they?
00:06:57.000 Who do they belong to?
00:06:59.000 Well, first they belong to God.
00:07:01.000 Next, they belong to their parents.
00:07:03.000 And then, yes, they are subject to the laws of the state.
00:07:06.000 But in that order, and Democrats want to become God.
00:07:11.000 They want to become all-powerful.
00:07:13.000 They want to supplant the authorities of the laws of nature and nature's God.
00:07:18.000 And they want to become the arbiter of truth and virtue and authority.
00:07:23.000 Jensaki also rejecting this bill, Cut 86.
00:07:27.000 Let's hear what the press secretary has to say.
00:07:30.000 Let me first say that every parent, as one myself, too, hopes that our leaders will ensure their children's safety, protection, and freedom.
00:07:36.000 And today, conservative politicians in Florida rejected those basic values by advancing legislation that is designed to target and attack the kids who need the support the most.
00:07:46.000 See what she did there.
00:07:47.000 She said, I want the leaders to ensure my children's safety.
00:07:52.000 No Gensaki.
00:07:54.000 It is not the leader's job.
00:07:56.000 Now, on some sort of broader discussion, of course, that's why we have a military.
00:08:01.000 That's why we have police.
00:08:02.000 We want to be safe.
00:08:04.000 But it is the parents' job to take care of their children.
00:08:08.000 It is not the state's job.
00:08:09.000 Now, this is what is so infuriating about this, is this is an argument they keep falling back on.
00:08:14.000 It's like a broken record.
00:08:15.000 They can't help themselves.
00:08:18.000 It happened in Michigan with the Democrat Party's tweet.
00:08:21.000 Saying that parents aren't stakeholders in their children's education.
00:08:24.000 Leave it to the experts.
00:08:25.000 Same thing in Virginia, over and over and over again.
00:08:29.000 Here is the point.
00:08:30.000 They cannot help themselves because it is fundamentally wired in their view of humanity and of the world.
00:08:36.000 They believe that they are to take care of our children.
00:08:39.000 And here's the thing.
00:08:41.000 Every despot and dictator from the last 200 years has thought the same thing.
00:08:46.000 The Russians took children out of their parents' homes and said that they were going to raise them.
00:08:53.000 Why?
00:08:53.000 Because the parents are the keepers of history, of tradition, of values.
00:08:59.000 Everything that holds this country together is held together in the value system passed on from parent to child.
00:09:05.000 If they can disrupt that, they can fundamentally transform the American way of life.
00:09:10.000 They can fundamentally transform our value system, our traditions.
00:09:15.000 And so what may seem like a little controversy here at the edge of who gets to say, you know, can we talk about being gay in school or not, is a much bigger and more dynamic debate that strikes at the very core of this republic.
00:09:30.000 If parents are disempowered from passing on their values, then we will not replicate the values of America to the next generation, and we've already lost.
00:09:37.000 And they know it.
00:09:38.000 And it's about time we start fighting back.
00:09:40.000 Hats off to Governor Ron DeSantis.
00:09:43.000 Bravo.
00:09:43.000 More of this.
00:09:47.000 Have you ever stopped to wonder why internet access is so much cheaper these days, like 30 to 40 bucks a month?
00:09:52.000 It's because internet service providers aren't just making money off subscription fees.
00:09:56.000 They're also making money from spying on your internet activity and selling your history and data to big tech companies.
00:10:03.000 So what's the best way to make sure that 100% of your data is encrypted, that your ISP can't get a hold of it?
00:10:08.000 You guessed it, ExpressVPN.
00:10:10.000 ExpressVPN creates a secure tunnel between all your devices and the internet so that you can do everything online and it's encrypted.
00:10:17.000 It reroutes your connection through a secure server.
00:10:19.000 This blocks your ISP from seeing everything you do online.
00:10:23.000 All they can see is that you're connected to an ExpressVPN server, but nothing beyond that.
00:10:27.000 And it's not just your phone or computer.
00:10:29.000 ExpressVPN works on all your devices.
00:10:31.000 I can't stress this enough.
00:10:32.000 ExpressVPN is so simple to use.
00:10:34.000 You can just open up the app, tap one button to connect, and that's it.
00:10:37.000 Your data is your business.
00:10:38.000 Protected at ExpressVPN.

00:10:53.000 Charlie Kirk, he'll be back tomorrow.
00:10:55.000 He's at the border, undisclosed location, getting some exclusive footage.
00:11:00.000 It's going to be pretty amazing.
00:11:01.000 He's already texting me and producer Connor about all that he's seeing.
00:11:05.000 And it's going to be exciting to hear what he has to say.
00:11:07.000 It's a really important thing that we don't lose sight of what's going on at our southern border with everything that's going on with the CCP Olympics, Ukraine and Russia, crackpipes, mass mandates falling all across the country and the world.
00:11:23.000 It's important we don't lose sight of what's truly, I think, the top crisis anywhere.
00:11:30.000 It's hard to argue against that, certainly.
00:11:34.000 Now, I do think in this short segment that we have, and we're going to bring on Alex Marlowe in the next segment.
00:11:40.000 I'm looking forward to that discussion, editor-in-chief of Breitbart.
00:11:45.000 These shorter segments kind of lend themselves to some of this.
00:11:48.000 I would call it distracting news, okay?
00:11:49.000 I'm going to admit it.
00:11:50.000 It's a little distracting, but it's still really fun, okay?
00:11:53.000 It's fun.
00:11:54.000 I admit it.
00:11:55.000 Chris Cuomo wants Megan Kelly money.
00:11:58.000 Page six, Chris Cuomo wants as much as $60 million from CNN amid Jeff Zucker exit.
00:12:05.000 Okay.
00:12:07.000 Backstory.
00:12:09.000 Bringing everybody up to speed.
00:12:10.000 You guys know this story.
00:12:11.000 Some of you know this story, but there's so many little juicy details.
00:12:15.000 It's sometimes hard to keep track.
00:12:17.000 Chris Cuomo helped his brother Andrew Cuomo during the height of the pandemic and then during some of the sexual assault allegations.
00:12:27.000 This was a no-no.
00:12:28.000 He gets canned.
00:12:31.000 He feels wronged by CNN leadership.
00:12:35.000 He's working allegedly now with some of the new investors to right the CNN ship, which, as we all know, has been deeply, deeply corrupted.
00:12:48.000 I mean, just a dumpster fire.
00:12:50.000 They've lost nine out of 10 viewers.
00:12:52.000 Truly, truly remarkable.
00:12:54.000 The damage is so deep that it ended up extending up to the chief, the big guy, Jeff Zucker.
00:13:05.000 As we all know, Jeff Zucker stepped down amid allegations that he was having an undisclosed affair with his number two in charge.
00:13:18.000 Now, after that, we heard reports from Brian Stelter, of all people, Mr. Potato Head.
00:13:24.000 Or I'm not sure I want to only guess his pronouns or anything like that, but yes, Brian Stelter even said, Chris Cuomo wants to burn it all down.
00:13:35.000 CNN, there is trouble in Paris.
00:13:37.000 This is on top of multiple reports of pedophilia.
00:13:42.000 Producer for Jake Tapper grooming an underage girl along with her mother.
00:13:50.000 It was disgusting.
00:13:51.000 And then you've got this happening.
00:13:54.000 By the way, people, we don't talk about this on the show.
00:13:55.000 We haven't talked about this on the show yet, but Don Lemon has sexual assault allegations against him that are looming under the surface.
00:14:02.000 We'll see if those become hot issues.
00:14:06.000 Now, we've heard that Don Lemon might be one of the dominoes that are going to fall here.
00:14:11.000 And so now he's prepared to demand not the $18 million that were remaining on his contract, but $60 million.
00:14:22.000 Now, his camp, according to page six, does not believe that Zucker was fired for an inappropriate relationship with Allison Gullist.
00:14:32.000 According to him and his team, everybody knew about the relationship.
00:14:35.000 Nobody cared.
00:14:36.000 So it was a convenient excuse.
00:14:39.000 What he believes happened is Warner Media found something in their investigation into Chris, perhaps internal memos or documents, which revealed more about Zucker's involvement with Andrew Cuomo.
00:14:51.000 Gullist was a convenient excuse.
00:14:54.000 Let's play cut 21.
00:14:56.000 Now, this is John Malone, one of the top shareholders at Discovery.
00:15:00.000 Let's play cut 21.
00:15:02.000 I would like to see CNN evolve back to the kind of journalism that it started with and actually have journalists, which would be unique and refreshing.
00:15:15.000 So Chris Cuomo is actually playing his hand surprisingly well.
00:15:19.000 He takes down the top guy, says he's going to burn it all down.
00:15:24.000 He knows he's got shareholders that want to see CNN return to its old ways.
00:15:28.000 And boom, he drops the hammer and says, I want Megan Kelly money.
00:15:32.000 I want 60 million bucks or else I'm not going to stop.
00:15:36.000 I'm on a warpath.
00:15:38.000 Can't say I blame him, but dang, it's getting hot over there at CNN.
00:15:45.000 Look, with all the different makes and models of cars, it could be very confusing.
00:15:49.000 I'm not a car guy.
00:15:50.000 I'm not.
00:15:50.000 And I get ripped off.
00:15:52.000 Okay.
00:15:52.000 If I go to a traditional storefront, it's a disaster.
00:15:55.000 It really is.
00:15:56.000 You know, these people that know a lot about cars, they're selling me all sorts of weird and wacky things.
00:16:00.000 They're like, you need a flagpole and you need a Wilson wire and you need a Hamilton bar and all this different sorts of stuff never heard of.
00:16:09.000 I said, okay, sure.
00:16:09.000 Here's the credit card.
00:16:10.000 Next thing you know, it's thousands of dollars later, and I've been ripped off.
00:16:14.000 Well, look, you have computers, so you can access rockauto.com at home and in your pocket.
00:16:18.000 So you should repair and maintain your cars.
00:16:21.000 It's a way to save money and you can use them for other important things like mortgages and food.
00:16:25.000 So you go to rockauto.com.
00:16:27.000 That's rockauto.com.
00:16:28.000 Their prices are reliably low at rockauto.com always offers the lowest prices possible rather than changing prices based on what the market will bear like airlines do.
00:16:37.000 Rockauto.com is a family business serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:16:42.000 Go to rockauto.com to shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.
00:16:46.000 Best of all, prices at rockauto.com are reliably low.
00:16:49.000 Go to rockauto.com right now to see all the parts available for your car or truck or Charlie Kirk and the How Did You Hear About Us?
00:16:56.000 So they know that we sent you.
00:16:58.000 Amazing selection, reliably low prices, all the parts your car will ever need, rockauto.com.
00:17:06.000 Right now, I am pleased to be joined by the one and only Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart and host of Breitbart News Daily.
00:17:17.000 Alex, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:17:19.000 Hey, Andrew, thanks so much for having me off.
00:17:21.000 I really appreciate it.
00:17:22.000 And if anyone's watching on Zoom, I'm doing this influencer style in the passenger seat of a car.
00:17:27.000 Yeah, you know, I think we had a similar vantage point with Viva Fry in Canada.
00:17:34.000 But I mean, that felt, I'm going to be honest, that felt a little bit more sort of justified here.
00:17:39.000 But that's much more so.
00:17:41.000 No, no, I'm on the road.
00:17:42.000 I'm actually on a special assignment that you guys know about.
00:17:45.000 So I'm sure we'll talk about down the road.
00:17:48.000 I know something about it.
00:17:49.000 I maybe don't know much.
00:17:50.000 I'm not going to say one way or the other.
00:17:53.000 Alex, Breitbart.com is absolutely flooded with a phrase I want you to explain to the listeners of this show: CCP Barbie.
00:18:07.000 What does that mean?
00:18:09.000 Oh, is it Olympic Barbie?
00:18:10.000 Let me just double-check here.
00:18:12.000 What does that mean?
00:18:13.000 Who are we talking about?
00:18:14.000 What's the backstory?
00:18:16.000 So I think we've identified who I believe is the worst person in the world.
00:18:20.000 And this is a person named Eileen Gu.
00:18:24.000 And I think she's using a different name that is a more China-eyed name.
00:18:28.000 But she's an American who has grown up in America, grew up in California, and she's a ski champion.
00:18:35.000 She won some real big competitions in Colorado.
00:18:37.000 She's headed to Stanford and she just won the gold medal in the Olympics.
00:18:41.000 Now, normally you would think that's pretty good.
00:18:43.000 The problem is, she won it for the CCP, the Communist Party, in Beijing.
00:18:48.000 And she's part of a massive influence campaign called sportswashing, where Beijing and the Communist Party in China are actually trying to normalize what they're doing in the across the world with their genocide, with the pandemic that they inflicted on all of us, with the authoritarianism, with the lack of free press, with the organ harvesting, the sex elective abortions.
00:19:12.000 The list goes on.
00:19:13.000 And all of this is getting normalized by championing American athletes who defect and go to China.
00:19:19.000 And she is the face of it because she's glamorous, she's young, and she's a champion now.
00:19:24.000 And so I think that this person who is whitewashing or sports washing the Beijing communist regime, despite benefiting 100% from an American upbringing, to me is about the most offensive thing you could come up with.
00:19:38.000 Yeah, I mean, I think words like traitor, betrayal, I mean, all of these things I think strike at the heart of the American psyche when we see things like this happen.
00:19:49.000 I mean, Alex, you know, I live in California.
00:19:52.000 You were born in California.
00:19:53.000 I think you went to Berkeley, right?
00:19:55.000 I did go to Berkeley.
00:19:56.000 Yeah.
00:19:56.000 I mean, you've lived in Los Angeles for a long time before, you know, obviously moving to the East Coast, but, you know, where you worked with Andrew Weitbart.
00:20:04.000 I mean, but I mean, we know California well.
00:20:07.000 And for her, for somebody like this who was born in California, who's going back to Stanford to throw off her allegiance to this country is an absolute disaster.
00:20:17.000 It's a shame.
00:20:18.000 And I think it's deeply, deeply offensive.
00:20:22.000 Meanwhile, China's propaganda army is flooding Twitter's hashtag genocide games, you know, Genocide Barbie to drown out Olympic criticism.
00:20:33.000 Now, isn't this against the terms of service or something like that?
00:20:37.000 I mean, haven't we seen activities like this before that have been banned by Twitter?
00:20:41.000 What's Twitter doing?
00:20:42.000 What's the CCP up to?
00:20:44.000 What's behind this one?
00:20:46.000 Yeah, so one thing that is crystal clear with the tech giants is they're either making massive amounts of money from the CCP, which does give permission for any one of those major corporations, be it tech or otherwise, to exist.
00:21:01.000 If it exists in China, it is because the CCP has blasted.
00:21:05.000 So these corporations are either already there or they want to be there.
00:21:09.000 It's one or the other.
00:21:11.000 So either you are doing major business in China or you want to be doing major business in China because they have a billion and a half people.
00:21:18.000 So Twitter is probably one of those groups that would like to be doing major business in China.
00:21:23.000 And they have a clear operation where America is the problem and China is not.
00:21:30.000 So if you are the type of person who identifies problems in China, genocide in China, you're probably one of the people that Twitter's got on their list for potential banning if you're still on the platform already.
00:21:42.000 But now we've got this huge amount of pro-CCP propaganda that's flooding the platform to overwhelm some of the negativity that the remaining negativity towards China, which is allowed to exist.
00:21:53.000 This is all part of the business model to become not an American company, but a global company.
00:21:59.000 This is the desire of every major Silicon Valley brand from Tesla to Google to Apple, et cetera.
00:22:05.000 If they're not already there, that's where they want to go.
00:22:09.000 This is so fascinating, actually, Alex.
00:22:11.000 So just over the last six months, Twitter's stock price is down 44%, 44.08%, right?
00:22:19.000 And so you're talking about you've got a shrinking pie in the United States.
00:22:22.000 We're becoming more and more divided.
00:22:24.000 They keep censoring people.
00:22:26.000 Yeah, sure, Dorsey's gone, whatever, but you're seeing their stock price is plummeting.
00:22:30.000 I mean, it's absolutely plummeting.
00:22:31.000 44%.
00:22:32.000 Are you kidding me?
00:22:32.000 In six months?
00:22:33.000 So where are you going to go?
00:22:34.000 You're going to go try and turn over some new rocks and expose some new markets.
00:22:39.000 You're absolutely right.
00:22:39.000 I mean, it's, it's, we need to do that.
00:22:42.000 This is it.
00:22:43.000 And you know it because you guys at turning point and with Charlie, you guys are some of the biggest people on Twitter.
00:22:49.000 And I have talked to you guys about it.
00:22:50.000 You guys know it's not that fun to be really big on Twitter.
00:22:53.000 It's horrible.
00:22:53.000 It's accessible.
00:22:54.000 The platform's a total success pool and people get it.
00:22:57.000 And so many of the most interesting voices are banned.
00:23:00.000 So Twitter knows their user growth is not coming from America and they're going to act accordingly.
00:23:05.000 Their user growth is going to be when they get granted permission from the CCP to have a bigger presence there.
00:23:10.000 There's almost no presence there now, but they're going to have a bigger one.
00:23:14.000 And how are they going to do it when they can convince the CCP that they are able to censor the anti-regime content and promote pro-regime content?
00:23:23.000 It's that simple.
00:23:24.000 That's what they're doing.
00:23:25.000 Take it to the bank.
00:23:27.000 Yeah, I mean, you're absolutely spot on here.
00:23:29.000 And I think, you know, it's interesting, too, on the backdrop of this, we're seeing the NBC is on track for the lowest rating Winter Olympics in American television history.
00:23:38.000 What you're essentially seeing is that the gatekeepers' grip on the old tactics where they could, you know, whitewash everything, where they could flood us with AstroTurf and still kind of get away with it.
00:23:50.000 The ratings would sort of show up, like people would go along, they'd ultimately get over it.
00:23:54.000 The old tactics aren't working anymore.
00:23:57.000 And you could see that this conflict about do we do business overseas with our enemies, people that hate us and want to see the destruction of the West in America.
00:24:07.000 Is the buck, is the immediate need to raise profits enough?
00:24:11.000 Are they going to keep opening up these markets?
00:24:13.000 Now, I want to talk about this specifically with people that have become kind of darlings on the right, namely Elon Musk.
00:24:20.000 Now, Musk is a character, as you know, Alex, that has been vociferously critical of the Biden regime recently on Twitter.
00:24:30.000 He's come out, he's made his disgust known.
00:24:33.000 And yet, oftentimes you'll hear this in conservative circles.
00:24:36.000 It's like, hey, hey, hey, with Elon, he's still doing all this business with the CCP.
00:24:42.000 What do we do with these instances as conservatives?
00:24:45.000 What does it mean?
00:24:45.000 What's the right response, in your opinion?
00:24:48.000 I'm sympathetic to people who love Musk, who are on the right, because I do think it comes from a place that they want heroes.
00:24:55.000 They don't want everything to be so dark and cynical and gloomy as it can feel some days during the Let's Go Brandon administration.
00:25:03.000 But sadly, I do think we're getting rolled here in a major way.
00:25:07.000 Elon Musk has said flat out he loves China.
00:25:10.000 He says China rocks.
00:25:11.000 He's gotten less tough on China as China has opened their markets to him.
00:25:18.000 And not only does he have factories in China, but he also now has a design facility there.
00:25:22.000 That's the glamour job, Andrew.
00:25:24.000 So is it?
00:25:24.000 We know that there's a lot of factories in China, but like Apple, they design, they make all their products in China, but they design them in the United States for the most part.
00:25:32.000 But Musk is even starting to design them in China.
00:25:35.000 So he says China actually cares, their leaders care more about their people than America.
00:25:40.000 Now, you know, that's not a great thing to say if you want to convince people you're actually an ally of the right.
00:25:48.000 But what's crucial to me is it's almost a guarantee, at least according to research of my colleague Peter Schweitzer, who I was just meeting with yesterday, that Musk's technology is almost certainly being co-opted by Chinese military and intelligence, whether he knows it or not.
00:26:05.000 This is the fact that he's going to demonstrate.
00:26:08.000 He's got to know it.
00:26:09.000 And that to me is not okay.
00:26:10.000 It's just simply not.
00:26:12.000 Whether or not he fires off a hilarious tweet dunking on Elizabeth Warren, that does not undo all of that.
00:26:19.000 I mean, I totally agree.
00:26:20.000 And I, you know, it's, it's, as you said, we want the world's richest man to get it because it would be such a breath of fresh air because they so often are just bought and sold and owned, and they know who butters their bread and they want to keep doing it, right?
00:26:37.000 I mean, and you know, gone are the days when the American market was so dominant, was so huge, the Western, the Western market, right?
00:26:45.000 I mean, there was some, there is some, you know, rationale for expanding beyond America's shore, especially if you're going with people that trust us, that, that share some of our values.
00:26:54.000 But with the CCP, it is causing this divide of values and security, frankly, is, and, and, you know, yeah, they're not just competition.
00:27:03.000 They're not JV.
00:27:04.000 They're big, big players and they fight dirty.
00:27:07.000 I thought it was really interesting, Alex, to see Nancy Pelosi and her advice to athletes over there.
00:27:14.000 I mean, it caused the great divide, actually, debate on the right.
00:27:17.000 It's like, well, is she actually saying something sensical or is she kowtowing to the CCP?
00:27:24.000 What was your read on what she was doing there?
00:27:27.000 Yeah, highly negative, but I understand people who might not have that point of view.
00:27:32.000 But her suggestion that you should silence yourself and just focus on sports, essentially shut up and dribble or shut up and sing, which I thought was cancelable back in the day, Andrew.
00:27:45.000 I find that to be incredibly anti-American because she's suggesting that once you leave American soil, even though you are an American citizen and you're representing the United States of America, the First Amendment no longer applies.
00:27:59.000 And that to me is just not acceptable in the slightest because even if you understand her point, we do have the First Amendment as one of our core principles of freedom to express yourself against totalitarian and dictatorial values, which are what the Chinese profess and employ.
00:28:16.000 But we also know that Nancy Pelosi's son and husband make a lot of money out of China.
00:28:22.000 And Pelosi's heavily invested in the stock market, which is increasingly aligned with China.
00:28:27.000 These cannot be coincidental, in my opinion.
00:28:30.000 She didn't now.
00:28:31.000 Correct me if I'm wrong, Alex, but didn't she just lift the ban on investing for members of Congress today?
00:28:38.000 Wasn't that just she is fighting and poking holes in the Stock Act, which is supposed to discourage insider trading, which got gutted a little bit, but it still means very well in terms of trying to keep members of Congress at bay with their trading.
00:28:57.000 But really, we need to stop having members of Congress trading at all.
00:29:00.000 They need to be able to put stuff into blind trust.
00:29:02.000 And that's that because we know that they are clearly promoting policies that help their stock portfolio because they're the best traders in the world.
00:29:11.000 I mean, how is it that Nancy Pelosi not only has become one of the most powerful women, if not the most powerful woman in the history of the country, and also somehow is the greatest stock trader?
00:29:20.000 Yes, she makes William Buffett look just abysmal.
00:29:25.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:29:27.000 The left is waging a war on free speech with the help of big tech and the United States government.
00:29:32.000 Thankfully, there are still companies that believe in our Constitution.
00:29:36.000 That's why I'm proud to partner with Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative cell phone provider.
00:29:41.000 They offer broad nationwide coverage because they use the same towers as the major carriers, get the same great service that funding the major carriers who donate to leftist causes.
00:29:49.000 Patriot Mobile has plans to fit any budget, and their U.S.-based customer support team provides exceptional service.
00:29:56.000 I know the CEO of Patriot Mobile, Glenn.
00:29:58.000 He's amazing.
00:29:59.000 And Patriot Mobile shares your values and supports organizations fighting for religious freedom, constitutional rights, and the sanctity of life.
00:30:06.000 Make the switch today.

00:30:20.000 It's patriotmobile.com/slash Charlie or call 972 Patriot, patriotmobile.com/slash Charlie.
00:30:28.000 Alex, I want to play the clip for our audience here.
00:30:31.000 Cut 88.
00:30:32.000 This is NBC cheering Eileen Gu and dumping on the U.S.
00:30:38.000 This is Eileen Gu from San Francisco, California, just 18, representing mother's home nation of China in the upcoming Olympic winter games, where she will be an absolute PR superstar.
00:30:50.000 Exactly.
00:30:51.000 I mean, one of the fastest rising growing stars in China, representing free skiing and around the world, and just such a talented young woman at so many different aspects of life.
00:31:03.000 And here, you can see.
00:31:04.000 I don't know if that was the clip that you guys had or not, but I mean, can you be any more gushing about that?
00:31:10.000 And ironically, free, they use the word free in that description, which, you know, she's gone to the very much not free CCP.
00:31:18.000 Defector, Alex, what does that say about the state of our nation that we have?
00:31:22.000 And there's actually a chart that my team pulled that shows defections from American citizenships going up.
00:31:29.000 Numbers of people renouncing their American citizenship is going up in a chart like that.
00:31:33.000 What does that say about our nation?
00:31:35.000 Are we in a moral malaise?
00:31:36.000 Is the CCP on top of things and we're not?
00:31:38.000 Yeah, you got all this.
00:31:40.000 And this is all, I'll tell you, Andrew, people who are familiar with my show and with the way I try to conduct my business personally, I really try to be calm and try to find some clarity first.
00:31:54.000 This is absolutely outrageous that NBC is doing this.
00:31:57.000 A company that is largely an American company that is not functioning as an American company.
00:32:01.000 They're a company with huge interests in China.
00:32:04.000 If you think about it, NBC is actually NBC Comcast Universal.
00:32:08.000 Not only are they making money off of this Olympics by being the corporate partners of Beijing to broadcast the games, but they have a movie business.
00:32:16.000 They have a theme park business.
00:32:18.000 All of these run through China and at the blessing of the CCP.
00:32:21.000 And they're sniffing Xi Jinping's throne right now.
00:32:24.000 That's what they're doing.
00:32:25.000 And for them to hype this person who's defected from her country that she benefited from so much and will go back to use our universities in the fall that they're making it seem like she's some sort of a hero.
00:32:35.000 I should make all of you want to puke.
00:32:36.000 And it makes me want to puke.
00:32:38.000 This is one of the worst people being one of the worst persons in the world.
00:32:42.000 And she is being aided and abetted by the corporate media establishment that we all hate instinctively if we're on the right.
00:32:49.000 This is one of the lowest lows I've ever seen that they were allowing this to happen as if it's business as usual.
00:32:55.000 Yeah, I mean, you're 100% right.
00:32:58.000 Now, we all get this, but the establishment wing of the conservative party, the Republicans, the establishment wing is still trumpeting Chamber of Commerce talking points.
00:33:11.000 They're still trumpeting free markets.
00:33:13.000 They're still talking.
00:33:14.000 They do not have the spine to put the lock on some of these business dealings overseas.
00:33:21.000 What should Washington be doing to clamps?
00:33:23.000 Yeah, let's connect.
00:33:24.000 Yeah, let's connect a couple of themes that we've talked about, Andrew.
00:33:28.000 And then we talked about Elon Musk.
00:33:30.000 He's world's richest man.
00:33:30.000 How did he get there?
00:33:31.000 Did he get there simply because he created a product that so many of us had to buy and thus we bought it and he got a cut and now he's super rich?
00:33:39.000 No, he cut favorable deals with first the U.S. government and then the Chinese government.
00:33:44.000 That's how he got the wealth he had.
00:33:46.000 Not to say he doesn't have some products that are worth something.
00:33:48.000 Of course, he does.
00:33:50.000 But if you look at how many Teslas are produced relative to his market cap, it dwarfs.
00:33:55.000 I'm not talking about just GM.
00:33:57.000 I'm talking about BMW, some of the greatest auto brands ever.
00:34:00.000 He crushes them.
00:34:01.000 Why is that?
00:34:02.000 And that's because of some of these contracts.
00:34:04.000 SpaceX, it's all about these government contracts.
00:34:06.000 He doesn't have, you don't get a lot of revenue from SpaceX.
00:34:09.000 It's all about government contracts.
00:34:11.000 And there's overlap between Tesla and SpaceX and thus Chinese intelligence.
00:34:16.000 This is the business model now.
00:34:17.000 It's not a free market business model.
00:34:19.000 It's cozying up to governments.
00:34:21.000 That is how you achieve incredible amounts of wealth, unfortunately, in this global world.
00:34:25.000 It's cronyism.
00:34:28.000 It's absolutely disgusting.
00:34:29.000 Global cronyism.
00:34:30.000 You often hear people talk about the original sin of America or whatever being racism.
00:34:34.000 Okay.
00:34:34.000 I mean, this is something that we have debunked time and time again at this show.
00:34:38.000 But if you're going to have a talk about it, maybe it's, maybe it's corporate greed.
00:34:43.000 Maybe it's selling out our future, our children for a buck, a short-term buck.
00:34:48.000 And I think something that is really encouraging for everybody on the right is that our side is finally picking up this mantle and calling a spade a spade and saying that it's not worth it.
00:34:59.000 So, Alex, thank you so much for joining the Charlie Crush.
00:35:02.000 I don't mean to monologue on you at the end here.
