00:01:19.000 I just want to let you know.
00:01:24.000 But that's just because we're awake and alive, right?
00:01:27.000 So would you guys give a warm welcome to Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, and my hero.
00:01:44.000 Thank you guys.
00:01:45.000 Thank you.
00:01:47.000 Wow, great group.
00:01:48.000 Hello, everybody.
00:01:49.000 Great to be here.
00:01:51.000 Charlie, we are so glad to have you here tonight.
00:01:54.000 Thank you for taking the time and putting us on your schedule.
00:01:58.000 And we're just going to spend some time doing some questions and answers with Charlie at this point.
00:02:03.000 And so I'll open it up with this one, Charlie.
00:02:06.000 I think we would like to just hear a little bit about your background, how you came to know the Lord, and a little bit about how you founded Turning Point USA, if you don't mind.
00:02:16.000 Well, first of all, this is a great church.
00:02:17.000 I have to tell you.
00:02:18.000 Not everyone will host us, and you're doing a great job.
00:02:23.000 And so if this is not your home church, you guys should consider it.
00:02:28.000 I'll pay you later for that one.
00:02:30.000 No, we didn't even coordinate that, I got to tell you.
00:02:33.000 And then, by the way, we're going to be doing question and answer later.
00:02:36.000 So I know a lot of you probably have questions, a lot of things on your mind.
00:02:39.000 We'd love to dialogue with you.
00:02:41.000 Honor to be here.
00:02:42.000 Short story kind of about that.
00:02:44.000 I gave my life to the Lord when I was in fifth grade, grew up in the suburbs of Chicago.
00:02:47.000 Any refugees from Chicago?
00:02:49.000 Yeah.
00:02:50.000 There's more and more of us every single day.
00:02:52.000 What a tragedy of what they've done to that city, by the way, right?
00:02:56.000 It used to be one of America's greatest cities.
00:02:58.000 I got to tell you, Chicago and San Francisco, they're really competing for what used to be great.
00:03:04.000 Anyway, I gave my life to the Lord, suburbs of Chicago in fifth grade.
00:03:08.000 Most important decision I ever made.
00:03:10.000 And if Jesus is not the savior of your life, you need to fix that.
00:03:15.000 And we're going to talk about that throughout the evening.
00:03:17.000 It's the most important decision you can make, and it changes your life.
00:03:21.000 And most importantly, it's an eternal decision.
00:03:24.000 And it transforms you from within.
00:03:26.000 Anyway, so I made that decision and kind of grew in the faith.
00:03:30.000 Always loved the country.
00:03:31.000 I'm a proud American patriot, but I grew up being told.
00:03:35.000 And by the way, you as a Christian should applaud that.
00:03:37.000 It is biblical to love your country.
00:03:38.000 Did you know that?
00:03:39.000 Yes.
00:03:39.000 It's biblical to love your country.
00:03:41.000 Yes.
00:03:42.000 Jeremiah 29, 7, seek the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.
00:03:49.000 Esther cared about her nation.
00:03:50.000 Mordecai cared about his nation.
00:03:52.000 Daniel, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Joseph.
00:03:55.000 It is biblical to care about your country, everybody.
00:03:57.000 So it is okay to applaud for America, especially a country like America.
00:04:02.000 In fact, there's a movement afoot in some pastors that say you shouldn't love your country.
00:04:07.000 You shouldn't care about the welfare of your nation.
00:04:09.000 That is not found anywhere in the scriptures, and I'm sure we'll talk about that.
00:04:12.000 But I was raised to not commingle politics and the church, and that was a mistake.
00:04:18.000 I was always raised to believe that.
00:04:20.000 Started Turning Point USA when I was 18 years old, which is now the largest organization in the country reaching out to young people for conservative values.
00:04:31.000 And I know many of you give $5, $10, give what you can to Turning Point USA.
00:04:36.000 Thank you for backing us.
00:04:37.000 We are making a sizable and measurable impact every single day on campuses across the country.
00:04:43.000 Just last week, we went to UCLA.
00:04:45.000 We couldn't find a room big enough to fit all the students at UCLA that wanted to come hear our message.
00:04:51.000 It was really amazing.
00:04:52.000 So anyway, I decided to take a gap year before going to college.
00:04:58.000 It's been 11 gap years.
00:04:59.000 We'll see if I go back to college.
00:05:02.000 And super blessed.
00:05:03.000 I fight for the country every single day.
00:05:05.000 I say things that drive certain people nuts.
00:05:09.000 And I tell the truth, and I'm not afraid of it.
00:05:12.000 We have all the right enemies.
00:05:14.000 And honestly, I'm the most blessed person, I believe, on the planet.
00:05:18.000 I have a great wife, amazing daughter.
00:05:20.000 And I feel that every single day I get to contribute to trying to save the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world, trying to bring people to ultimate truth.
00:05:30.000 And we do it in a variety of different ways.
00:05:32.000 We've launched TPUSA Faith a couple years ago.
00:05:35.000 Our project is really simple.
00:05:37.000 It is to kick wokeism out of the American church as quickly as possible.
00:05:46.000 But Jesus is the center of everything that I do.
00:05:49.000 Jesus says in John 10, 10, it's one of my favorite verses.
00:05:52.000 It's one of my life verses because it really kind of shows what we're living through right now.
00:05:57.000 The enemy has come to lie, steal, and destroy.
00:06:02.000 But I have come to give life and life more abundantly.
00:06:07.000 So you look at that.
00:06:07.000 It's a great divide, isn't it?
00:06:09.000 Are you on the side of lie, stealing, destroying, and death, or on the side of life and life more abundantly?
00:06:15.000 And Christ is about liberty.
00:06:17.000 The story of the scriptures is about liberty.
00:06:19.000 The story of Exodus is about liberty from tyranny.
00:06:23.000 Liberty is God's idea, not man's idea.
00:06:25.000 This nation was founded on that biblical idea, and I'm afraid we're losing it.
00:06:29.000 And we're here tonight to try to get it back with marching orders and a little bit of encouragement of how we're going to win.
00:06:34.000 So honor to be here, and that's a little bit about my faith.
00:06:36.000 Amen.
00:06:37.000 Amen.
00:06:37.000 Thank you.
00:06:38.000 So, yeah, amen.
00:06:40.000 Hey, if we're going to clap, let's clap, guys.
00:06:42.000 No golf claps tonight.
00:06:46.000 So you're talking about the American church and kicking wokeism out of it.
00:06:50.000 What would you say is a call to action for the church in America today?
00:06:56.000 How would you call us into action as churches that want to see that happen?
00:07:01.000 Yeah, it's not overly complicated.
00:07:03.000 Let's go back to the amazing pastors that founded this country.
00:07:08.000 George Whitfield, Jonathan Mayhew, the Black Robe Regiment, Jonathan Edwards, preach the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter.
00:07:15.000 That includes the scary Old Testament.
00:07:19.000 Do you know that Deuteronomy, the book of Deuteronomy, which I love the book of Deuteronomy?
00:07:22.000 I've spent a lot of time studying it.
00:07:24.000 By no means an expert, but it is an amazing book.
00:07:26.000 It's Moses' farewell address to the nation of Israel before they enter Canaan.
00:07:31.000 It's the last things he says to them.
00:07:33.000 It was quoted in the founding documents more than any other book, secular or religious.
00:07:40.000 Anyway, they put Leviticus 25, 19, proclaim liberty in the land of which you are in.
00:07:45.000 They put that right on the liberty bell, right?
00:07:47.000 So these are serious.
00:07:48.000 And just so we're clear, and I didn't come here tonight to make you all fall asleep.
00:07:52.000 It really is amazing.
00:07:53.000 I'm going to take a picture of this and tweet it out.
00:07:55.000 1,200 people in Reno that want to learn about Leviticus on a weeknight.
00:08:00.000 I got to tell you, that is really amazing.
00:08:03.000 That is really special.
00:08:05.000 Jesus is coming soon.
00:08:06.000 I got to tell you.
00:08:07.000 That's right, that's right.
00:08:08.000 And I want to see all of you at church next Wednesday next time.
00:08:10.000 Exactly.
00:08:11.000 I got to tell you.
00:08:12.000 No, anyway, but Jesus said, all the laws of the prophets hang upon these two commandments.
00:08:18.000 Love the Lord your God with all your soul, strength, heart, soul, strength, and mind, which is Deuteronomy 6:5, and then love your neighbor as yourself, which is Leviticus 19.
00:08:26.000 And so Leviticus gets a bad rap.
00:08:28.000 We could talk more about that later.
00:08:29.000 But the whole book of Leviticus is about Jesus.
00:08:31.000 It's about holiness.
00:08:32.000 And when you read it from a New Testament Christian point of view, it just pops in vivid color.
00:08:37.000 What were we talking about?
00:08:38.000 Yeah, we're talking about your call to action.
00:08:40.000 Yeah, got it.
00:08:41.000 Okay, sorry.
00:08:41.000 Preach the Bible, is what I was saying, okay?
00:08:44.000 Amen.
00:08:44.000 And by the way, honestly, we have some amazing pastors here, by the way, we were just meeting with.
00:08:49.000 I want to shout them out.
00:08:50.000 There are other great pastors here in the valley.
00:08:52.000 Thank you guys.
00:08:54.000 If you're a pastor, stand up real quickly.
00:08:56.000 If you're a senior pastor here tonight, stand up.
00:08:59.000 We want to encourage you.
00:09:02.000 Thank you for being here.
00:09:03.000 Thank you.
00:09:06.000 We need more of you guys, and we have your back.
00:09:09.000 It is not easy.
00:09:12.000 But it is to have courage, as it says in Joshua 1:9, to be strong and courageous.
00:09:18.000 I'm afraid that most American churches are not strong and courageous right now.
00:09:22.000 They're vanilla.
00:09:23.000 They're tepid.
00:09:24.000 They're in the middle.
00:09:25.000 They're moderate.
00:09:26.000 Now is the time to be bold and to proclaim the truth, not to hide and retreat and hope it gets better.
00:09:33.000 And so that's really one of the reasons I got into the church fight, if you will, you know, with a heavy political tilt, obviously, as a Christian on the campus space.
00:09:43.000 During COVID, when I saw the capitulation of most churches, not all, there's plenty of churches that did the right thing, but that did vaccine mandates and mask mandates and locked down.
00:09:56.000 I was horrified at how this beacon of liberty, this beacon of light, was no different than a secular institution.
00:10:03.000 When the government, and by the way, governor, I believe it was Sisilak, right, at the time?
00:10:08.000 Yes.
00:10:08.000 Yeah.
00:10:09.000 He was, by the way, so, thank you guys for kicking that guy out.
00:10:13.000 He is just the worst.
00:10:16.000 What a bad dude.
00:10:19.000 Calling the church non-essential.
00:10:23.000 And I don't know if it was the case in this state, but other states, liquor stores and marijuana stores and strip clubs were deemed essential, but the church is not.
00:10:31.000 And the church just took it.
00:10:33.000 The church just said, oh, you know, we'll just do the live stream.
00:10:36.000 That really disappointed me.
00:10:37.000 So what is the call to action?
00:10:39.000 Well, it's kick wokeism out by preaching the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter.
00:10:44.000 Every sentence, every syllable of the word of God has something to say to us.
00:10:49.000 Every sentence of the word of God has something to say to us.
00:10:52.000 And secondly, let's act with the courage that we portray to our congregation.
00:11:00.000 If we're actually Christians, and I know that might sound like a heavy thing, then you should never bow a knee to tyrannical government.
00:11:08.000 You should only fear God, not man.
00:11:11.000 Amen.
00:11:12.000 So, and then finally, I'm a big believer in what is your worldview.
00:11:18.000 So, some of you tonight might not be Christians, and I'm so glad you're here.
00:11:22.000 I mean that non-sarcastically, honestly.
00:11:24.000 Praise God that you're here.
00:11:25.000 Maybe we'll say something that will move you towards giving your life to the Lord or reconsidering what we're saying.
00:11:31.000 Everybody has a worldview.
00:11:33.000 Everybody has a worldview.
00:11:34.000 I believe in a biblical worldview.
00:11:36.000 Our founders had a biblical worldview.
00:11:38.000 The freest societies have biblical worldviews.
00:11:40.000 And so there's something, a book, a song, a celebrity, that is your instruction manual.
00:11:46.000 Most people don't even think deeply about what is your instruction manual for life.
00:11:50.000 They say, oh, I am my own instruction manual.
00:11:52.000 Yeah, that ends poorly.
00:11:54.000 Or it's the values that my parents gave me.
00:11:57.000 At some point, there's something that is influencing you.
00:12:00.000 Unfortunately, we've sent our kids to these university campuses, and they're influenced by complete poison.
00:12:06.000 If we as the church are not doing a good job of training and educating a foundation of our flock to have a biblical worldview, then we're not doing our job.
00:12:19.000 So you kick wokeism out when your congregation uses the Bible, the word of God, to analyze all the news events.
00:12:27.000 What does the Bible say about marriage?
00:12:29.000 What does the Bible say about life?
00:12:31.000 What does the Bible say about immigration?
00:12:33.000 What does the Bible say about everything?
00:12:35.000 And then it doesn't become a question because the Bible then becomes the lens of which all your other decisions are made.
00:12:41.000 And so one of the ways that we kick woke is out is that we reinstill that biblical worldview.
00:12:48.000 And I've found far too often that churches are now embracing secular moral relativism, where some churches, not all, they have the gay pride flag outside.
00:13:00.000 Some churches, not all, are marching in BLM parades.
00:13:04.000 In fact, some of the most popular pastors in America, one being Andy Stanley, who is somebody from Georgia, very popular, buys a lot of time on Christian broadcasting.
00:13:13.000 He had two homosexuals come up to his church and present and have a pro-transgender type thing saying that we must affirm trans kids' delusion.
00:13:24.000 I'm sorry.
00:13:24.000 That is the least loving thing you could do to a child to affirm their delusion.
00:13:29.000 And so I could give an extended answer at that, but it is going back to the type of church that founded this country.
00:13:36.000 Biblical, strong, outspoken, truthful, loving, and Christ-centered.
00:13:41.000 Yeah, amen.
00:13:42.000 Yeah, he's describing an Acts 242 church, isn't he, guys?
00:13:46.000 Just to get back to the early New Testament church.
00:13:50.000 Charlie, you mentioned college campuses there.
00:13:53.000 What are the challenges and the issues and the concerns that you're running into frequently as you are with the student bodies there?
00:14:00.000 Oh, boy, where to start.
00:14:02.000 You know, I joke around.
00:14:03.000 We were just having an amazing pastor's roundtable.
00:14:05.000 I said, guys, I'd love to work myself into retirement and the church thing.
00:14:08.000 I'd love to wake up the American church, kick wokeism out.
00:14:12.000 I have no ambitions to build a Christian empire or whatever people call it.
00:14:16.000 I got plenty of work to do on the college campuses, guys, right?
00:14:20.000 But if we're looking at this just from a triage, we'll lose the whole civilization if the church doesn't wake up.
00:14:25.000 We will lose the country tomorrow if we don't fix what's happening on campuses.
00:14:30.000 So I'm trying to do both, if that makes sense.
00:14:32.000 The college campuses, institutionally, are one of the great threats to American freedom and liberty.
00:14:38.000 And there are very few exceptions.
00:14:40.000 You have an awful, awful school here.
00:14:43.000 UNR is one of the most radical schools, honestly, on the American West Coast.
00:14:47.000 I spoke there four years ago.
00:14:49.000 They're incredibly radical.
00:14:50.000 Look, they are factories of anti-Americanism, anti-Western values.
00:14:55.000 If you send your kid to a college campus, you're playing Russian roulette with their values.
00:15:00.000 And I want to be very clear.
00:15:03.000 The students there should be our focus.
00:15:05.000 The institutions cannot be saved.
00:15:07.000 There is no reforming Harvard.
00:15:09.000 There is no reforming Yale.
00:15:11.000 There's only honestly burning it to the ground, which is the best thing that could happen to Harvard at this point.
00:15:15.000 Now, that might sound radical, but when 31 student organizations at Harvard University, the day after the most deadly attack on Jews since the Holocaust, 31 student organizations come out with sympathy for Hamas, I say you are no morally better than Nazi Germany, and that institution should cease to exist.
00:15:35.000 I will not put up with that in this country.
00:15:37.000 Period.
00:15:38.000 I find that morally repugnant.
00:15:40.000 And it's not just Harvard.
00:15:42.000 You have a professor at Columbia University who came out and said it was a beautiful day that Hamas came and killed those babies.
00:15:49.000 And you might have different views on the Israel power.
00:15:53.000 This is moral toxins.
00:15:56.000 And it's Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Dartmouth.
00:16:00.000 It's across the board.
00:16:01.000 And so I go there on a rescue mission.
00:16:05.000 My job at Turning Point USA is a non-stop 24-7, 365 rescue mission to save your kids from ideas that will destroy the country and destroy themselves.
00:16:15.000 I'm trying to rescue as many kids as possible.
00:16:17.000 And we are having success.
00:16:19.000 And we can't rescue them all, right?
00:16:22.000 But praise God, as I mentioned, when we go there, we are packing out auditoriums.
00:16:27.000 And we're packing them out on things that might be deemed controversial, but they are starving for truth.
00:16:32.000 Some good news.
00:16:33.000 Gen Z men are the most conservative they have been in the last 50 years.
00:16:38.000 18-year-old men.
00:16:41.000 Young ladies are a different question.
00:16:44.000 We can get into that.
00:16:46.000 That's a challenge.
00:16:46.000 Come on, ladies.
00:16:47.000 Yeah, that's a challenge.
00:16:48.000 But the men are very promising.
00:16:50.000 But I could go on at length, but this will sound controversial, but I will be proven right.
00:16:57.000 And I don't say that in any sort of cocky way.
00:17:01.000 You should be very careful sending your grandkids or kids to college.
00:17:04.000 I know that might sound radical.
00:17:07.000 I know that might sound a little hyperbolic.
00:17:11.000 I don't make any money off of this book.
00:17:12.000 Turning point gets all the proceeds.
00:17:14.000 Read my book, The College Scam.
00:17:16.000 I detail it in great detail.
00:17:18.000 10-count indictment against the college industry.
00:17:21.000 There is very little redemption or redeemable value when you send your kid to a college that isn't Hillsdale College.
00:17:29.000 And you might say, but they need a college to get a job.
00:17:32.000 That might be true.
00:17:33.000 It's not as true as you might think, though.
00:17:35.000 Just so you understand the numbers.
00:17:36.000 So I want you to challenge your own assumption.
00:17:41.000 Only 62% of kids that enter college will graduate.
00:17:45.000 So not as many as you think graduate.
00:17:48.000 40% of kids that graduate will end up getting a job that does not require a college degree.
00:17:55.000 Okay?
00:17:56.000 So they'll end up getting a job that did not require them to go in the first place.
00:18:00.000 And 55% will end up getting a job in a different field than what they studied.
00:18:06.000 So just know the numbers going in and understand that you might send your daughter to Stanford and she'll come back your son.
00:18:17.000 That's good advice.
00:18:18.000 Sound advice.
00:18:22.000 What advice would you have, Charlie, for Christian employees who are working in a job where their employers have bought into the diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda?
00:18:33.000 I get asked that a lot from people in our congregation that are going, Pastor, what should I do?
00:18:38.000 What can I do?
00:18:40.000 What a great question.
00:18:41.000 So I'll answer it of what I would do, but this is not necessarily prescriptive to you because you have to provide for your family.
00:18:49.000 You have to pay bills.
00:18:51.000 And so that is incredibly important.
00:18:53.000 So please take what I'm saying and apply it during life.
00:18:56.000 I personally would not be able to work for a company that was so at odds with my values.
00:19:03.000 I would quit and I would find a different job.
00:19:06.000 Now, I'm not saying you should do that because you have obligations.
00:19:09.000 You have a mortgage.
00:19:10.000 You have to provide for your family.
00:19:12.000 But I would not torment myself.
00:19:14.000 I would not put myself through a modern day Maoist struggle session to have to hear that I'm a bad person because I'm white every single day.
00:19:26.000 Just so just the data, just so we're clear, if you are not happy at work, you will die earlier.
00:19:32.000 The numbers show that.
00:19:34.000 If you are going to a job that this is not even, this is just the data.
00:19:38.000 You will die 15 years earlier.
00:19:41.000 The data is so clear on this.
00:19:43.000 Those people that find joy and happiness and depth at their work live longer lives because they don't dread going.
00:19:49.000 It's so obvious, right?
00:19:50.000 They're less likely to develop stress-induced cancers or other sort of other sort of ailments that might come alongside of it.
00:19:56.000 And just in general, they live a happier and better life.
00:19:59.000 So what to do?
00:20:00.000 Sometimes you have to act out in faith.
00:20:02.000 You have to see if God has a plan in store.
00:20:05.000 There is, just to consider, an amazing patriot economy that is growing.
00:20:11.000 Public Square is listing a lot of these companies.
00:20:13.000 I think you would be surprised at how many employers are out there that are trying to find Christian patriots to come work for them that don't believe in the DEI, CRT, trans stuff.
00:20:25.000 Amen.
00:20:26.000 So look, your number one obligation is to provide for your kids and your family.
00:20:33.000 That is number one.
00:20:34.000 If you feel as if you can do that while also taking a leap of faith, you'll live longer.
00:20:39.000 And by the way, less divorces happen if you're happy at work.
00:20:43.000 That's another stat.
00:20:44.000 There's an incredible amount of literature on happiness at work.
00:20:47.000 I happen to stumble into it in one of the books I'm reading called Happiness Advantage.
00:20:52.000 It's amazing.
00:20:52.000 It's like 10 pages.
00:20:53.000 He says, if you're happy at work, here's the stats.
00:20:56.000 If you're not happy at work, here's the stats.
00:20:58.000 Less likely to be divorced, less likely alcoholism, less likely to get into drug abuse.
00:21:01.000 Obviously, it's not a guaranteed thing, but it's rational, right?
00:21:04.000 If you're excited and happy and purpose-filled at work, obviously the rest of your life will probably be better.
00:21:09.000 Less likely to get in fights at home, all that sort of stuff.
00:21:12.000 So I would urge you to prayerfully consider if God has a plan for you to go find a different job or a different career that could share your values.
00:21:23.000 One of the greatest, most torturous forms of tyranny in modern America is when someone has to leave their home and pretend to be something they aren't.
00:21:33.000 That's good.
00:21:34.000 That's really good.
00:21:37.000 We've been talking, you talked a little bit about the students on the college campuses that came out in support of Hamas right after October 7 attacks.
00:21:47.000 Can you speak to us a little bit about the situation in Israel and what can we in America and also the churches, what can we learn from what happened there in Israel?
00:21:57.000 Yeah, I mean, just the brewing Jew hatred in this country is really bothering me.
00:22:02.000 And by the way, I'm no apologist for the Israeli government.
00:22:06.000 When they bombed a church, I tweeted about it and the IDF responded and we had a good dialogue and I thought that was just fine.
00:22:13.000 But just the moral issue that I have with this is some people in the left-wing media are coming out as if that Hamas is somehow the victim here.
00:22:26.000 And I just, and I, again, I'm an America-first guy.
00:22:30.000 I love Israel.
00:22:31.000 I actually really have a soft spot for Israel.
00:22:33.000 Let me be perfectly honest.
00:22:35.000 Everyone knows that.
00:22:37.000 I had an amazing time with my wife there.
00:22:38.000 I saw where Jesus walked on water, where Jesus rose from the dead.
00:22:42.000 I have a soft spot for Israel, all cards being out there.
00:22:45.000 At the same time, my obligation is to America first.
00:22:48.000 But there is no moral equivalent when you have people come in and target civilian corridors on the holiest Jewish day, and then they get to cry victim.
00:23:00.000 They want a ceasefire?
00:23:01.000 They had a ceasefire on October 6th, the day before they did that.
00:23:05.000 You guys decided to no longer have a ceasefire.
00:23:09.000 And the militancy.
00:23:13.000 So there's so many different takeaways with this.
00:23:15.000 I hope Israel wins.
00:23:16.000 I hope Israel liberates the people of Gaza and destroys Hamas.
00:23:20.000 War is awful.
00:23:21.000 War is ugly.
00:23:22.000 The IDF is trying to get as many civilians out of the way, and God bless them for that.
00:23:27.000 The Hamas targeted as many civilians as possible on October 7th, okay?
00:23:31.000 Bad things happen in war.
00:23:33.000 They use hospitals to launch rockets.
00:23:34.000 They put their headquarters underneath hospitals.
00:23:36.000 All that stuff is legitimate and true.
00:23:38.000 But this is where you can really kind of cross up a Hamas supporter, which drives them nuts.
00:23:46.000 Is they say, well, the people of Gaza don't support Hamas.
00:23:52.000 Okay, then shouldn't you support getting rid of Hamas?
00:23:56.000 No, because Hamas is not a terror organizer.
00:24:00.000 I think you just said they don't support the people.
00:24:01.000 So either Israel's trying to liberate the people of Gaza, or you support God.
00:24:06.000 They can't have it both ways.
00:24:07.000 So immediately they kind of combust.
00:24:10.000 And there's no easy issue.
00:24:14.000 There's no easy solution.
00:24:15.000 But let me kind of editorialize a little bit.
00:24:17.000 And I did a whole show on this yesterday.
00:24:20.000 I find it to be deeply insulting.
00:24:22.000 And I say this as someone who has a soft spot and a heart for Israel.
00:24:25.000 When two members of the Israeli government wrote a piece in the Wall Street Journal saying that it's a moral imperative for we as Americans to take the people of Gaza.
00:24:33.000 I find that to be insulting, to be perfectly honest with you.
00:24:36.000 Okay?
00:24:37.000 Egypt doesn't want them.
00:24:39.000 Jordan doesn't want them.
00:24:41.000 How about Saudi Arabia takes, I don't know, a couple hundred thousand of your fellow Muslim brethren.
00:24:47.000 So Israel, let me just get this straight.
00:24:48.000 The Israeli government, who I'm cheering for, for the record, doesn't want these people in their country, and they shouldn't want them.
00:24:55.000 But you as Americans, they wrote in the Wall Street Journal, we have a moral imperative.
00:25:01.000 I'm sorry that you're making a mistake, Danny Dinan, to publish that in the Wall Street Journal.
00:25:07.000 Okay?
00:25:08.000 We are not going to take the people of Gaza into this country.
00:25:11.000 It's just not going to happen.
00:25:13.000 And so that's number one.
00:25:14.000 Number two, I think this has opened a lot of people's eyes to who we've been letting into our country the last decade.
00:25:21.000 And I'm an immigration hawk, and I'm proud of it.
00:25:24.000 And there's an amazing verse in Deuteronomy that is so powerful.
00:25:28.000 In fact, I want to read it.
00:25:29.000 It's so powerful.
00:25:29.000 I don't think we talk about this enough.
00:25:32.000 Because if you hear immigration spoke about in a church, there are many verses that say, love the stranger, love the foreigner, and we should love all people.
00:25:40.000 But very rarely in church do you hear this verse.
00:25:43.000 Deuteronomy 28, 43, one of the last things that Moses ever said.
00:25:48.000 Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power while you gradually lose yours.
00:25:54.000 They will have money to lend you, but you will have none to lend them.
00:25:58.000 In the end, the foreigners will become your rulers.
00:26:02.000 How often do you hear that said in a church?
00:26:04.000 Very rarely.
00:26:06.000 I'll be very honest.
00:26:07.000 The Muslim Brotherhood is on pace to become our rulers in this country.
00:26:11.000 Turns out Moses was right in Deuteronomy.
00:26:14.000 So I just want to say there's a biblical basis for being skeptical of letting people into your country because some woke Christians will only use the verses that say love the foreigner, love the refugee.
00:26:25.000 By the way, the refugee status is overused, just so we're clear, okay?
00:26:29.000 So I think it is suicidal as a country to let in hundreds of thousands of people like Elon Omar who have bitter contempt for America under the guise of tolerance.
00:26:41.000 No more.
00:26:42.000 We should revoke the student visas of the people on these campuses that are saying kill the Jews.
00:26:47.000 We should kick them out of the country and say you are not welcome here anymore.
00:26:52.000 Unacceptable.
00:26:53.000 And we need to seriously rethink the way that we do immigration broadly in this country, period.
00:27:00.000 In London, they're having hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets.
00:27:03.000 Not just London.
00:27:04.000 You guys see it in D.C., you see it in New York.
00:27:06.000 You say, how is this happening?
00:27:08.000 We let this happen because they took advantage of our benevolency.
00:27:13.000 And I'm going to say something radical, but it's every Christian needs to know this.
00:27:17.000 Islam is a political ideology masquerading as a religion.
00:27:25.000 I don't think we as Christians are educated enough on Islam.
00:27:29.000 We used to be.
00:27:30.000 Back in after 9-11, there was a lot of, like, I think a heightening of education.
00:27:36.000 We've kind of, you guys need to go really learn.
00:27:39.000 Not saying you don't, but I think we broadly have to really re-educate ourselves, myself included, get this.
00:27:45.000 Leftism is a religion masquerading as a political ideology.
00:27:49.000 Yep, that's right.
00:27:50.000 So that's why they work in tandem.
00:27:52.000 Final point that I think on the Israel thing: a lot of Jewish donors are having regret, and God bless them for the regret they're having.
00:28:00.000 I received a lot of backlash in the media when I said this because they said it was anti-Semitic, which it isn't anti-Semitic.
00:28:06.000 It's so shallow and stupid when they use these sort of accusations.
00:28:09.000 When I said that Jewish donors have been the biggest funders of these universities over the last couple of decades that have been fomenting anti-white, anti-Jew, and anti-Western values, and I said it's promising to see Jewish donors finally pull their money from these universities and anti-American educational institutions.
00:28:31.000 And so I think that's a big takeaway.
00:28:33.000 We see that with Bill Ackman, we see that with Kopperman, we see that with Mark Rowan, we see that with some major Jewish donors that are pulling hundreds of millions of dollars in these universities.
00:28:46.000 So look, there's a lot of different takeaways.
00:28:48.000 To summarize that all together, I'm cheering for Israel.
00:28:51.000 I hope that they continue to fight in the most humane way possible, which it looks like they are, to try to save as many civilians as possible, to get this over with.
00:28:59.000 But they need to kill as many Hamas terrorists as possible.
00:29:03.000 That is the modern-day moral equivalent of Nazism.
00:29:07.000 And so that's my takeaway.
00:29:10.000 And that kind of brings us naturally to talk about our own border situation here in America.
00:29:16.000 How does the current administration's posture towards immigration, how is that hurting us?
00:29:21.000 And what do you think a healthy solution for that would be?
00:29:28.000 I heard that.
00:29:29.000 Hello, I want to make sure, I don't want to spend too much time on this, to be honest, because I'm just going to, you guys are going to get so sad.
00:29:40.000 What is the new Speaker of the House doing, honestly?
00:29:43.000 I mean, I don't mean to pick on him, nice guy, Christian.
00:29:47.000 And I said this publicly.
00:29:48.000 Honestly, if you're not cut out for the fight, go back and be a pastor or go run a Bible study, man.
00:29:53.000 I mean that.
00:29:54.000 Because what you just did, we have millions of people walking into our country.
00:29:59.000 And he has this amazing opportunity before Thanksgiving and Christmas to use leverage to get something to secure our southern border.
00:30:07.000 And he just passed a bill that Chuck Schumer said was excellent and Joe Biden's going to sign that punts this all the way into January.
00:30:13.000 Look, we are being invaded.
00:30:14.000 It is an act of treason against the country, facilitated by Mayorkas and Joe Biden.
00:30:19.000 Eight Republicans voted against the impeachment of Alejandro Mayorkas.
00:30:25.000 It's unbelievably disappointing.
00:30:26.000 All we are asking for, and I believe I speak for you when I say this, is an opposition party against the consensus of Washington, D.C.
00:30:34.000 We want a party to go there and to say no.
00:30:38.000 We've had enough agreement.
00:30:40.000 They want to keep the borders open.
00:30:42.000 They want to keep spending money we don't have.
00:30:44.000 We send you there to say something differently.
00:30:47.000 We stop the nonsense.
00:30:49.000 And so, look, the border is an act of treason.
00:30:52.000 Joe Biden should be impeached and treated as a traitor to the United States for what he has done on the southern border.
00:31:02.000 And let's just say that you're someone in the audience and you're not convinced and you say, but Charlie, we should love the foreigner.
00:31:09.000 Okay, you want to love the foreigner?
00:31:11.000 Close the border because young girls are getting raped every single day by the cartels as they are getting sex trafficked.
00:31:17.000 We have more slaves in North America than ever before as we have a southern poorest southern border.
00:31:22.000 How about the flow of fentanyl into our communities, the flow of illegal guns?
00:31:28.000 This is a human rights catastrophe.
00:31:30.000 It is a sovereignty catastrophe.
00:31:33.000 And I mean, we're on pace.
00:31:35.000 By the time Joe Biden is done, and this really goes to show one of the reasons why we need to keep fighting and not give up.
00:31:42.000 Somebody asked me, they said, Charlie, why are we so divided?
00:31:44.000 I said, I'll tell you why we're divided.
00:31:47.000 We look at 10 million illegals that come into the country and we say, what an unspeakable tragedy, an unacceptable thing that has happened.
00:31:57.000 Biden looks and he says, I'm so proud.
00:32:01.000 That's why we're divided.
00:32:03.000 You have one side that looks at one of the greatest tragedies in American history as a success.
00:32:09.000 There is no remedying that.
00:32:11.000 There is no common ground.
00:32:13.000 There's only winning.
00:32:14.000 Them losing and us winning.
00:32:17.000 That is an act of treason, everybody.
00:32:20.000 When he says, he has said that there's no crisis, it's perfectly fine.
00:32:24.000 So I don't want to depress you, but I mean, they are destroying the country via the southern border every single day.
00:32:30.000 And our Republican Party has done nothing to fix it.
00:32:35.000 We got to change that.
00:32:39.000 We have a large Hispanic population here in Washoe County.
00:32:43.000 In fact, on staff here at this church, we have four Hispanic pastors and only two of us white guys.
00:32:50.000 I don't know what's going on there, but they work me over at work sometimes.
00:32:55.000 I don't know.
00:32:55.000 No, I'm kidding.
00:32:56.000 But what steps is TPUSA taking to help them trust in conservative leaders who want to control immigration to the United States?
00:33:06.000 Yeah, honestly, I have such a heart for the Hispanic community.
00:33:09.000 They are becoming quickly one of the most conservative communities.
00:33:13.000 They're not there yet, but in one election cycle, they might be a majority conservative community.
00:33:17.000 I'm telling you, it has happened.
00:33:19.000 Univision, have you seen this recent story?
00:33:21.000 Univision has come out and they said, we don't want to lose our audience, so we're tilting right.
00:33:27.000 I mean, that goes to show, I'm telling you, by the way, the answer is, Hispanics, they want a border.
00:33:33.000 They don't want an open border.
00:33:35.000 I had a young lady that came to my event at UCLA.
00:33:37.000 It was one of the most unbelievable things.
00:33:39.000 I'm not usually speechless, as you could probably tell.
00:33:42.000 And I was like, I've never, I don't know how to respond to this.
00:33:45.000 She says, yeah, I agree with everything you've said, Charlie.
00:33:47.000 We need to deport people.
00:33:48.000 We need to build a wall.
00:33:50.000 And my parents came here illegally.
00:33:52.000 And I was like, I've never heard this one before.
00:33:54.000 She said, you're totally right.
00:33:55.000 She said, just because my parents broke the law doesn't mean what you're saying is wrong.
00:33:58.000 It is a moral tragedy.
00:34:00.000 I'm glad I'm here.
00:34:00.000 If they can't stay, then so be it.
00:34:02.000 But we need to build the wall.
00:34:04.000 And I was like, this is, you know, unbelievable, like the honesty.
00:34:10.000 And by the way, we should deport every single foreigner in the country.
00:34:12.000 They broke the law.
00:34:13.000 They're here.
00:34:14.000 They shouldn't be here.
00:34:15.000 Now, but you might not totally agree at that, but it's the way it should be.
00:34:20.000 But what we can agree on, and what Hispanics are coming to our way in big numbers, they don't believe men can give birth.
00:34:28.000 They don't believe in this trans nonsense.
00:34:30.000 They don't believe that kids should have their parts chopped off at 12 years old.
00:34:35.000 And the issue that I think really moves Hispanics, economy to a lot of small business owners, they work so hard.
00:34:41.000 They see the inflation.
00:34:42.000 They are sick of it, but also crime.
00:34:46.000 Hispanics have come largely from countries that were destroyed because of unregulated crime.
00:34:54.000 And they are so sick of this defund the police, of this lawlessness that is embraced by the radical left.
00:35:01.000 And so, I mean, you see this.
00:35:02.000 I would not be surprised if Donald Trump wins Hispanics in the state of Arizona.
00:35:06.000 I would not be surprised if he does.
00:35:08.000 I know that might sound crazy, but it's also, you think about it, they are traditional in their conservative views.
00:35:16.000 They're pro-family, pro-hard work, you know, pro-small business, pro-law and order.
00:35:22.000 And I think it's an amazing thing.
00:35:24.000 And they also reject the core tenets of upper-middle-class white woke liberalism.
00:35:31.000 They do not believe in the most wacky, abstract ideas.
00:35:35.000 They think it's insane to support Hamas, for example.
00:35:38.000 They think it's insane when all of a sudden somebody comes out and they say it's just a clump of cells.
00:35:43.000 It doesn't register into the shared cultural history of Hispanics.
00:35:48.000 And so I think we should do more Hispanic outreach.
00:35:50.000 We should be unafraid to speak.
00:35:52.000 We don't have to agree on every single issue.
00:35:54.000 But the big stuff, the core stuff, think about how much Hispanics disagree with the Democrats on.
00:36:00.000 They don't agree on abortion.
00:36:01.000 They don't agree on crime.
00:36:03.000 They don't agree on the race stuff.
00:36:05.000 They don't agree on any sort of the core pillar issues.
00:36:10.000 And so I'm very hopeful that there is going to be a massive right-wing revolution in the Hispanic community that will totally change American politics.
00:36:20.000 I'm very, very hopeful.
00:36:21.000 Amen.
00:36:22.000 Yeah, I have to agree with you on your assessment there.
00:36:25.000 My wife and I lived in Costa Rica for nine years in a Latin American country, and they just tell it how it is.
00:36:32.000 It's very refreshing down there, actually, to be there.
00:36:34.000 That's why they like Trump.
00:36:36.000 Yeah, and I think you're right on that.
00:36:41.000 What would you say, shifting gears here a little bit, what would you say to the Christian who is here tonight struggling with their conscience about voting for a candidate who doesn't align 100% with their biblical values?
00:36:55.000 What would you say to that person who's not going to say that?
00:36:56.000 Yeah, first of all, I'm glad you're here.
00:36:58.000 I'm glad you're contemplating that.
00:37:00.000 So, I mean, obviously, the only person they ever say that about is Trump, right?
00:37:03.000 So they have no problem voting for other people with flaws.
00:37:06.000 But for Trump, a lot of people say, I don't know about that guy.
00:37:09.000 Okay, look, Trump has lived a very colorful life, no doubt.
00:37:13.000 So let's talk about it.
00:37:14.000 Number one, a vote is not an endorsement of every single thing a person has said or done.
00:37:18.000 It's about what they do and the policies that you align with.
00:37:21.000 But the question is, is there ever an example of somebody in the scriptures that is considered to be faithful or holy that had really interesting hair and lived a colorful life?
00:37:34.000 So enter the story of Samson.
00:37:38.000 Now you laugh, but wait till you hear this one.
00:37:43.000 Samson had some pretty awesome hair.
00:37:45.000 God came to him while he was in a prostitute's bed.
00:37:49.000 Samson took the jaw of a donkey and killed thousands of Philistines.
00:37:53.000 He was willing to listen to the call of God to go fight.
00:37:56.000 And you might say, oh, Charlie, but what's the takeaway?
00:38:00.000 Samson is listed in the hall of faith in the book of Hebrews because he was faithful to God's calling and obedience.
00:38:07.000 So now, if you want to take Samson out of the Bible, how about King Cyrus?
00:38:12.000 King Cyrus, who was called a righteous man, who was a Persian king who sent the Jews back to Israel after the destruction of the first temple.
00:38:20.000 That's where you get Zarebabel, the book of Nehemiah, and the reconstruction of the second temple.
00:38:25.000 King Cyrus has a lot of similarities to Trump.
00:38:27.000 Someone that might not share every single view that we have, but will fight for righteousness and fight for goodness.
00:38:34.000 And I will say, look, Trump is a very interesting person.
00:38:39.000 I'll be very honest.
00:38:40.000 I'm very biased.
00:38:40.000 I know him well.
00:38:41.000 I think he's awesome.
00:38:42.000 I really do.
00:38:43.000 I know that everyone has differences of opinion.
00:38:46.000 You might say he's prideful and he's cocky.
00:38:48.000 I think he's hilarious, but that's a separate issue.
00:38:51.000 And I don't agree with him on everything.
00:38:53.000 Okay, I think the vaccine thing was a mistake.
00:38:54.000 It's okay.
00:38:55.000 You got to be honest, right?
00:38:56.000 I didn't like the COVID stuff.
00:38:58.000 But do we spend enough time on his virtues?
00:39:01.000 And I don't think we do.
00:39:03.000 This is a guy.
00:39:04.000 I want you guys to think seriously.
00:39:06.000 If you were facing 700 years in federal prison and having every cent you've ever earned about taken away from you, but from some crook in New York, would you still be fighting?
00:39:16.000 No, seriously.
00:39:17.000 I wouldn't.
00:39:18.000 I mean, I think of myself as someone that has stamina.
00:39:22.000 That's a very special person to keep on fighting.
00:39:24.000 Now, some of you might say, you might say, ah, I still don't like him.
00:39:28.000 I don't like him.
00:39:30.000 He's a bully.
00:39:31.000 He's a jerk.
00:39:32.000 Honestly, I said this in my RNC speech, and I'll say this.
00:39:35.000 If you were to hire a bodyguard, do you want someone that's polite Or someone that can win.
00:39:44.000 He is the bodyguard of Western civilization.
00:39:48.000 Amen.
00:39:52.000 Here's what you will get.
00:39:55.000 And I don't want to make this all about Trump, but if you want to ask questions about it, it's fine.
00:39:58.000 You did get the repeal of Roe versus Wade.
00:40:01.000 You did get that.
00:40:03.000 Period.
00:40:04.000 You got an embassy moved to Jerusalem.
00:40:07.000 You got no new wars.
00:40:08.000 Blessed are the peacemakers.
00:40:10.000 This is a guy that did more peace deals than anybody else.
00:40:14.000 You got a great economy.
00:40:15.000 You got raising wages for people of all different colors and backgrounds.
00:40:19.000 So you had a lot of successes there across the board.
00:40:21.000 So you vote for the values he's fighting for.
00:40:24.000 I personally, I will say it, I'm biased, and I could tell you, having spent extensive private time with him, having traveled with him, I could tell you, despite all the media nonsense, he cares deeply about this country.
00:40:35.000 And I cannot say that about most politicians I spend time with.
00:40:40.000 He cares about this country.
00:40:49.000 Well, we're starting to wind it down here, and I want to throw this out there now so you can be thinking about it in advance.
00:40:55.000 But just if any of you guys have a question tonight for Charlie, just be thinking of that because in a second we're going to open it up here.
00:41:02.000 But before we get to that, this is more of a personal question, Charlie.
00:41:06.000 I wanted to ask you, how have you dealt with your own personal fear and anxiety?
00:41:10.000 Because you are under a lot of attack and stress, and there's a lot of attention on you.
00:41:17.000 So how do you find the courage and the inspiration each day to deal with that?
00:41:20.000 What do you do?
00:41:21.000 Well, thank you for that question.
00:41:22.000 Yeah, we are under attack.
00:41:24.000 Turning Point USA is without a doubt the most attacked major organization in the country.
00:41:29.000 Every single day, there are people that are trying to shut us down, put us in prison, sue us, write negative articles about us.
00:41:37.000 But honestly, glory be to God Almighty, we are stronger than ever.
00:41:42.000 We have 300,000 donors now at Turning Point USA.
00:41:46.000 We have millions of people that we are reaching.
00:41:48.000 It really is amazing.
00:41:50.000 And God has a hedge of protection around this organization and our effort.
00:41:55.000 Look, I lean on the word of God.
00:41:57.000 I love the word every single day.
00:42:00.000 And there's a couple verses that for me personally, and you ask, you know, fear and anxiety.
00:42:06.000 I do fear a few things.
00:42:08.000 I fear disobeying God.
00:42:10.000 I legitimately fear that.
00:42:13.000 I fear that I will not honor God in what I do.
00:42:16.000 I fear not being the best husband or father I could be.
00:42:21.000 I don't fear the left.
00:42:22.000 I don't.
00:42:23.000 I don't.
00:42:24.000 And you should neither.
00:42:27.000 These people are beatable.
00:42:28.000 They are fragile.
00:42:30.000 They are broken.
00:42:31.000 They need Jesus, but you should not fear them.
00:42:34.000 You should not fear these people.
00:42:37.000 And I say this as someone who has fought them professionally for 11 years.
00:42:41.000 I fought them on campuses.
00:42:43.000 I fought them in the streets.
00:42:44.000 I fought them in the courts.
00:42:46.000 You should not be afraid of them.
00:42:49.000 Because we have truth on our side, and they do not.
00:42:52.000 So look, I mean, for me, some of my favorite verses that are very comforting, I mentioned John 10, 10.
00:42:58.000 I kind of go through this sequentially, but I know this sounds strange, but one of my favorite verses of the entire Bible is Genesis 1.1.
00:43:05.000 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
00:43:07.000 That should be very comforting.
00:43:08.000 That means that you being here is not a mistake, that there's intentionality to your existence, and everything around you has a harmony, a purpose, and a plan, and an end point.
00:43:17.000 It's called Bereshit in the Hebrew.
00:43:20.000 Genesis 1-1 debunks all of the postmodern nonsense.
00:43:24.000 You can keep on reading, and you should.
00:43:26.000 But that alone, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
00:43:30.000 That means God is our creator.
00:43:33.000 That we did not create God.
00:43:35.000 God created us.
00:43:36.000 That's a big deal, everybody, okay?
00:43:38.000 Amen.
00:43:39.000 And Genesis 126, 127, that we're created in his image, that we are made in the image of the divine.
00:43:46.000 John 1, which is the creation story, said differently, in the beginning was the logos, the word, and the word became flesh to dwell among us.
00:43:55.000 I could do a whole nerdy speech into what the logos is, but that basically means that the divine harmony of the cosmos came down on a rescue mission, to use that term I used previously, to save us from our sinful nature.
00:44:08.000 And I go throughout the scriptures, and it's very comforting to know that there is a God with a plan and a purpose for our life in the end that Christ wins.
00:44:18.000 And then every day, I don't think we as Christians emphasize enough personal development with Christ.
00:44:26.000 I love Romans 12, too.
00:44:27.000 I think that if that one verse was one that every Christian would focus on, we would have a much healthier body of Christ, which is do not conform to the ways of this world, but instead be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
00:44:44.000 We are called not to conform to the habits of debauchery, of drunkenness, of pornography consumption, right?
00:44:51.000 We're called to be different, and by that, your mind will literally be transformed.
00:44:56.000 And I know this sounds weird, but my mind has been transformed.
00:45:00.000 Metamufe is the word in Greek, where I don't fear the left.
00:45:04.000 I don't fear what they do because I've done the habits for so many years not to conform to their garbage that I could tell your mind actually does transform.
00:45:13.000 I know some of you might think what I'm saying is wacky.
00:45:16.000 Some of you, I could tell, know exactly what I'm saying, is that Christ transforms you.
00:45:21.000 But it starts with not conforming to the ways of this world.
00:45:24.000 And so, and then it is the most popular psalm for a reason.
00:45:30.000 Psalm 23 is so unbelievably comforting, I have to say.
00:45:35.000 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, is really incredible.
00:45:39.000 And so, look, it's not up for us to win the battle.
00:45:42.000 The battle is already won.
00:45:43.000 And we will talk about this in question and answer.
00:45:46.000 But your action every single day needs to be out of obedience.
00:45:51.000 I do what I do because I'm told to do it by God.
00:45:56.000 And if there's any other, and even more so, I do what I do for the glory of God out of worship for his greatness and his perfect love.
00:46:10.000 If you're doing what you do for different reasons, for example, Charlie, I want Trump to win in 2024 because that means it'll be a better life for me.
00:46:20.000 That's outcome-based.
00:46:21.000 God handles the outcome.
00:46:24.000 You handle the obedience.
00:46:26.000 The prayer that I don't like, and I'm very careful to say this when I say I don't like prayers, but I cringe.
00:46:32.000 God, save us from this.
00:46:36.000 How about God, use us as a vehicle to save us from this?
00:46:42.000 Amen.
00:46:43.000 Amen.
00:46:46.000 I think we need to ask God to use us as his vessels, imperfect broken vessels for such a time as this.
00:46:55.000 Amen.
00:46:56.000 That's an awesome answer.
00:46:57.000 Thank you so much.
00:46:58.000 We're going to move into a time of question and answer now.
00:47:01.000 So I'm going to have the guys come down, and they're going to be standing right here because we want to be able to get those who ask the questions on camera as well.
00:47:09.000 And so if you've got a question for Charlie, go ahead and stand up and line up in this aisle right here.
00:47:15.000 And don't be shy.
00:47:16.000 And there's a microphone waiting for you right there.
00:47:19.000 And as Charlie, I've heard him say many times, dissenters go to the front.
00:47:24.000 So if you have a dissenting opinion and you want to share, or you want to ask a question coming from the opposite viewpoint, please join in and ask that question.
00:47:34.000 I just want to quickly remind you that we are taking questions, okay?
00:47:39.000 We don't want to hear your life story, although we know it's amazing, and we know that God has done amazing things in your life.
00:47:47.000 Please just give us your name and give us a question if you don't mind.
00:47:52.000 So let's go ahead and before we begin, just really quick.
00:47:55.000 I'm going to do this twice tonight.
00:47:57.000 This is the first one.
00:47:58.000 It's a totally shameless plug.
00:47:59.000 Can we get that slide up, guys, please?
00:48:02.000 So some of you listen to our show every day on Real America's Voice.
00:48:06.000 It really means it really is great.
00:48:09.000 Some of you might be unaware.
00:48:10.000 Every single one of you, they'll have a phone.
00:48:12.000 I would ask you while we're doing question and answer, if you take out your phone and follow the QR prompting and subscribe to our podcast, we do three podcasts a day.
00:48:22.000 You might be saying, Charlie, how can I get the news?
00:48:25.000 Every day we do three podcasts.
00:48:27.000 I'm biased.
00:48:27.000 I think you get some pretty awesome content there: interviews, frontline commentary.
00:48:32.000 When you get to the Apple podcast page, you press subscribe by hitting the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner.
00:48:38.000 If you don't know what I'm saying, there is an eight-year-old nearby that can guide you through all of that.
00:48:45.000 But seriously, if you don't know what we're talking about afterwards, you can go to the TPSA faith booth and just ask, How do I subscribe to that?
00:48:52.000 But if you get what I'm saying, please just follow that QR code, which you and it really blesses us.
00:48:59.000 I know it sounds self-promotional.
00:49:00.000 It is totally self-promotional, to be honest.
00:49:03.000 But the reality, everybody, it helps us not get canceled by big tech.
00:49:09.000 That's the big thing, okay?
00:49:10.000 When you subscribe, it makes it harder for Facebook to cancel us, okay?
00:49:15.000 So thank you for doing that.
00:49:16.000 Yes, ma'am.
00:49:17.000 Let's start.
00:49:17.000 Get started.
00:49:19.000 Hi, my name is Renee.
00:49:21.000 And my question is: there's a lot of confusion, I think, about voting in the presidential primary as opposed to the caucus.
00:49:31.000 What is the best way to get Trump elected?
00:49:35.000 And can we vote in both?
00:49:39.000 Okay.
00:49:42.000 So I don't, is that right?
00:49:44.000 In Nevada, if you vote in the primary, you can't vote in a general?
00:49:49.000 Is that what you're saying?
00:49:53.000 Okay, I have no idea.
00:49:56.000 I'm sorry, I don't want to mislead you.
00:49:57.000 So maybe somebody else can clarify up to the mic or ask you after.
00:50:01.000 I'm sure we have love your enthusiasm for Trump.
00:50:04.000 There's a woman in the back that would love to talk to you.
00:50:07.000 I hesitate to even weigh in on it because I don't want to mislead you.
00:50:11.000 So please, please vote for Trump.
00:50:18.000 Excuse me.
00:50:19.000 My understanding is if we vote in the caucus, then we can get delegates.
00:50:24.000 Okay, I don't know.
00:50:25.000 How about yeah, thank you for that.
00:50:28.000 That's an important question that I don't want to mislead you.
00:50:31.000 So once we get it, somebody in the line, I'm sure, could clarify that.
00:50:35.000 Yes, ma'am.
00:50:35.000 My name is Brooke, and Turning Point USA has written a couple stories on me.
00:50:39.000 I'm the mom here that filed the lawsuit on the transgender policy.
00:50:50.000 I'm in the biggest battle of my life right now.
00:50:55.000 The Supreme Court is saying that my ex-husband can vaccinate my children, and I'm fighting with everything I have.
00:51:03.000 My question is: for you, I love everything that you guys do, and I need your guys' support.
00:51:10.000 I'm a mom.
00:51:11.000 It doesn't just affect me.
00:51:12.000 This is bigger than me.
00:51:14.000 Anybody that's in a 50-50 situation of custody with their children will be affected by this because it's now case law.
00:51:22.000 My question, my call to action is: what would you say to the parents that are in a position like me, and I want to be on your talk show to be the voice because we're filing to go to SCOTUS?
00:51:33.000 Well, God bless you for your courage.
00:51:35.000 And is that the Nevada Supreme Court that ruled on it?
00:51:38.000 Is that correct?
00:51:38.000 Yeah.
00:51:39.000 And you should go to the Supreme Court.
00:51:41.000 So the U.S. Supreme Court.
00:51:44.000 And I just want to, I did not plan here to make this a Trump commercial, but I do want to just make sure it's clear.
00:51:52.000 The fact that the United States Supreme Court might even weigh in on it is thanks to Trump and the three Supreme Court justices he put.
00:51:58.000 Okay, I just want to be, I have to be honest about it, okay?
00:52:01.000 We have to be honest.
00:52:03.000 You have to keep fighting and know that you have a community of people behind you.
00:52:06.000 God is putting you through a season right now.
00:52:08.000 It will get better.
00:52:09.000 You hear me?
00:52:10.000 It will get better.
00:52:12.000 And you have to understand that we're praying for you.
00:52:15.000 We're supporting you.
00:52:17.000 I know that this church family, I don't know if this is your church home or not, would love to welcome you.
00:52:21.000 And my piece of advice, number one, would love to have you on the show.
00:52:25.000 Okay, happy to talk to you after.
00:52:26.000 When you're going through these seasons, make sure you're prioritizing your spiritual disciplines.
00:52:31.000 That might mean going to church, definitely reading the word, fasting and praying.
00:52:35.000 The enemy would love to destabilize you when you're going through this sort of stuff, okay?
00:52:39.000 Can we pray for Brooke real quick?
00:52:41.000 Let's pray for Brooke, guys.
00:52:43.000 Heavenly Father, we just want to lift up our sister Brooke to you right now in Jesus' name.
00:52:48.000 And Lord, sometimes when we get to the very end of ourselves, all we can do is look up, and that's what you're waiting for, Lord.
00:52:57.000 I just pray for Brooke, Lord, that you would surround her, that you would strengthen her, that you would fill her with your Holy Spirit, that you would send the right people to come alongside of her.
00:53:05.000 And I pray that you would just give her wisdom, Lord.
00:53:08.000 And we pray over this case.
00:53:09.000 We know it's a spiritual case.
00:53:11.000 Lord, there are spiritual forces in dark places that are pulling strings.
00:53:14.000 And we pray against them in the name of Jesus.
00:53:17.000 And we pray that you would tear down strongholds that need to be torn down.
00:53:20.000 And that, Lord, what needs to happen would happen in the name of Jesus.
00:53:25.000 We pray that you would encourage Brooke to know that she's not alone, that there are many, Lord, that are praying for her and supporting her.
00:53:31.000 And Lord, we just pray for her case in Jesus' name right now.
00:53:35.000 Amen.
00:53:36.000 Amen.
00:53:36.000 If you'll email me, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:53:39.000 I do read all those emails.
00:53:41.000 Email me tonight.
00:53:41.000 We'll get you on the show.
00:53:42.000 Okay?
00:53:43.000 God bless you.
00:53:44.000 Thank you so much.
00:53:49.000 All right.
00:53:50.000 Well, I won't speak very loud.
00:53:52.000 Most of you guys heard me yelling outside.
00:53:54.000 I'm one of the four Latinos on staff here.
00:54:03.000 But the question is, since we have statistics showing that the vast majority of the students in Washoe County, they're the majority of students.
00:54:14.000 They're Latino.
00:54:15.000 The majority of students in the entire state of Nevada, as far as public schools and private schools, is Latino by an overwhelming amount.
00:54:24.000 TPUSA's moniker is like, you guys going to the university, but what about the high schools and the grammar schools specifically to the Latino community?
00:54:33.000 What are you guys having or call to action to get that going?
00:54:38.000 We have high school chapters too.
00:54:39.000 And so we'd love to, I don't know how successful we've been here.
00:54:43.000 I would imagine we have a chapter or two up here.
00:54:46.000 But yeah, we actually have more high school chapters than college chapters nationwide now.
00:54:51.000 And I will say that the high schools, we're learning a lot.
00:54:56.000 They are harder to get chapters at than colleges, as you can imagine.
00:55:00.000 Just the administrators sometimes or whatever, the bureaucrats are there.
00:55:04.000 But if there's anybody here that has kids, if there is a high schooler here that wants to start a turning point USA chapter, go to our table out in the hall.
00:55:12.000 We would immediately love to connect you and get you involved.
00:55:15.000 We have a second to none student outreach and development program.
00:55:19.000 In fact, I bet you might have some students here at the church that would love to do that.
00:55:23.000 And so open invite, would love to have it.
00:55:26.000 And also, for those of you that might want to fly down to Phoenix to be around over 10,000 students, we have an event called AmericaFest.
00:55:33.000 I know some of you are going.
00:55:35.000 And this will get students engaged.
00:55:38.000 Amfest.com, A-M-F-E-S-T.com.
00:55:42.000 We have Tucker Carlson, we have Candace Owens, we have Rob Schneider, we have Riley Gaines.
00:55:49.000 We have the biggest speakers you can imagine.
00:55:51.000 I think we have.
00:55:52.000 And we also have a strong church sub-event.
00:55:55.000 And I do believe there are non-stop flights from Reno to Phoenix every single day.
00:56:01.000 So would love to get some strong chapters started here in the Reno area.
00:56:07.000 God bless you, man.
00:56:07.000 Thank you so much.
00:56:10.000 Love the shirt, man.
00:56:11.000 Thank you.
00:56:12.000 Been a big fan a long time.
00:56:14.000 Of course, Bannon War Room is great too.
00:56:17.000 Dan Bongino, and I love Mike Lindell.
00:56:21.000 Mine's more of a call to action for the caucus, February 8th in Nevada.
00:56:25.000 Can you answer her question?
00:56:26.000 And the delegates only go towards those presidential candidates, and they divide them up.
00:56:31.000 So whoever gets the most, they send those up.
00:56:34.000 So only do the caucus on February 8th.
00:56:37.000 Do not do the preferential presidential primary.
00:56:40.000 Do not do that.
00:56:41.000 Do the caucus.
00:56:42.000 We also need help at the Washa Republican Party, and we need more precinct captains, and we need more people to volunteer to help us at the caucus events.
00:56:50.000 So the primary has no delegates.
00:56:52.000 No.
00:56:53.000 Why are they doing a primary?
00:56:55.000 The state.
00:56:56.000 The state decided that.
00:56:58.000 So only the is the caucus on a Saturday?
00:57:01.000 Is that right?
00:57:02.000 No, it's like it used to be, right?
00:57:04.000 Years past.
00:57:04.000 It was never on a weekend.
00:57:06.000 It's 5 p.m. on a Thursday.
00:57:08.000 It's like a Thursday or something.
00:57:09.000 Do they make this intentionally confusing?
00:57:12.000 Yes.
00:57:13.000 The caucus has always, since 1981, we've had the caucus.
00:57:16.000 Since 1981, we've had the caucus, and they're trying to change it like they've changed everything else.
00:57:20.000 Okay, got it.
00:57:21.000 So caucus, caucus, caucus.
00:57:22.000 Caucus.
00:57:23.000 February 8th.
00:57:24.000 Thank you for clarifying that.
00:57:25.000 Okay, no, that's really great.
00:57:27.000 Thank you.
00:57:30.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:57:32.000 My name is Ethan.
00:57:33.000 I just wanted to ask for some advice you would give to a 14-year-old who would like to make a change for all these people who can make a change in their lives so they can change the world.
00:57:45.000 I love that question.
00:57:46.000 Don't you love that?
00:57:47.000 Isn't that great?
00:57:49.000 Well, I hope some of you that are not 14 here, I'm not going to say any ages, are motivated by that.
00:57:57.000 There are millions of young people.
00:57:59.000 I'm telling you, I'm not selling you hopium, hope and opium together.
00:58:03.000 There are millions of young people ready to fight for America.
00:58:06.000 And I'm telling you, every single day, get involved at Turning Point USA, right?
00:58:14.000 So come to our table there.
00:58:16.000 The earlier you prioritize learning, not the stuff.
00:58:20.000 Are you homeschooled maybe?
00:58:21.000 Yes?
00:58:22.000 Yeah.
00:58:22.000 Yeah.
00:58:23.000 I do like a Zoom school.
00:58:24.000 It's a lot less liberal than the fact you're way too well spoken to be government school.
00:58:30.000 I could take the tour of this.
00:58:33.000 I could tell.
00:58:34.000 Homeschool.
00:58:34.000 I could see the homeschoolers a mile away.
00:58:37.000 Well-dressed.
00:58:38.000 Yes, sir.
00:58:38.000 Thank you for being here.
00:58:40.000 You know, homeschool.
00:58:41.000 Government school is a completely different thing.
00:58:43.000 It just doesn't work that way.
00:58:46.000 Learn as much as you can.
00:58:48.000 At the age 14, 15, 16, you should be reading 100 books a year, listening to podcasts.
00:58:53.000 The earlier you do that, you will have such a significant advantage on any of your peers.
00:59:00.000 And if you want to get into politics, that's great.
00:59:04.000 I tell this to every young person, get into politics to want to do something, not to be somebody.
00:59:10.000 The worst people in politics are people that want to be somebody.
00:59:13.000 The best people in politics are the people that want to get something done or do something.
00:59:17.000 So make sure you get involved for the right reasons.
00:59:20.000 Okay?
00:59:20.000 It's very, very important.
00:59:22.000 And then finally, Work harder than the people around you.
00:59:28.000 And that is something that is being lost, I'll tell you.
00:59:31.000 Just this old-fashioned grit, hustle, and work ethic.
00:59:35.000 It's not everybody.
00:59:36.000 There's plenty of young people that hustle, but it's harder and harder to find.
00:59:40.000 You know, it was so funny.
00:59:41.000 When I first started Turning Point USA, I was 18.
00:59:44.000 It took till I was 20 till I realized not everybody worked as hard as I did.
00:59:48.000 I know that sounds silly, but I was like, wow, some people don't care as much as I do.
00:59:54.000 And I was like, I'm going to win.
00:59:57.000 I'm going to build, like, we're going to build something big.
01:00:00.000 Because, like, I'm just going to outwork everyone.
01:00:02.000 Like, I thought everyone was hustling.
01:00:04.000 It's like, most, no, a lot of people are lazy.
01:00:08.000 It was really encouraging, actually, because you know why?
01:00:10.000 I could control how hard I worked.
01:00:12.000 And so I traveled 3,100 days in a decade, right?
01:00:16.000 I saw, you know, Million Mile Club and every single airline imaginable.
01:00:21.000 And United Delta American, you name it, very well, treated very well by every airline.
01:00:26.000 But yeah, just outwork the competition.
01:00:28.000 If you do that, and then try to develop good character.
01:00:32.000 I know that's a big order for a 14-year-old, but developing character is a big deal.
01:00:37.000 And we don't.
01:00:38.000 With the Holy Spirit, nothing is impossible.
01:00:39.000 With the Holy Spirit, all things are possible.
01:00:41.000 God bless you, man.
01:00:42.000 Thank you.
01:00:44.000 All right, guys.
01:00:45.000 This is going to be our last question.
01:00:46.000 We're running out of time here.
01:00:48.000 Oh, two more.
01:00:48.000 Okay, we're going to do two more.
01:00:50.000 Hello, my name is Clayton Yon, and with the incompetency of our president, how he just doesn't seem to be there.
01:00:59.000 Anybody can see that.
01:01:01.000 My question is: with your personal knowledge and everything, who's running the streams behind this idiot?
01:01:10.000 Barack Obama is still heavily involved.
01:01:13.000 He is.
01:01:13.000 Barack Obama is an evil person, and he is still very much involved.
01:01:19.000 Valerie Jarrett, but it goes even bigger than that.
01:01:21.000 It is a cabal of Soros, of Mackenzie Bezos, of Reid Hoffman, of Mark Benihoff, of Sergey Brin, of Larry Page, of Jeff Bezos, of Mark Zuckerberg, Klaus Schwab from the World Economic Forum.
01:01:38.000 Joe Biden is just a temporary placeholder.
01:01:41.000 He does what he's told.
01:01:42.000 He doesn't know where he is.
01:01:43.000 He shuffles around.
01:01:44.000 I mean, we should laugh, but it's the only thing we could do.
01:01:47.000 It's really sad when you think about it that this beautiful, amazing country, this incredible gift from God, is being run by this, you know, this traitor who can't even put two sentences together.
01:01:59.000 One of the promising things is how many of you are not surprised by what I'm saying, and you realize that there's a deeper game going on here.
01:02:07.000 And I just want to make sure that it is very clear: it is easy to pick on Joe Biden, but those people that I mentioned are also running big parts of the Republican Party as well.
01:02:19.000 It's important to know that.
01:02:20.000 Thank you very much.
01:02:21.000 Appreciate it.
01:02:22.000 We can go five more minutes, so maybe we can do two more.
01:02:24.000 We'll see.
01:02:26.000 It's always two more.
01:02:27.000 We'll see.
01:02:29.000 Hi, I'm Evan.
01:02:30.000 I just want to say thank you so much for coming out here to speak with us.
01:02:34.000 And my question is: if this was the very last time that you could speak to any of the youth in America, including me, then what would you tell us?
01:02:42.000 That's a very deep question.
01:02:43.000 It's also dark because it would be like, why would it be the last thing I was saying?
01:02:47.000 But no, I think it's great.
01:02:49.000 I really do.
01:02:51.000 Let's go back to what I said earlier.
01:02:52.000 Deuteronomy is Moses' farewell address.
01:02:55.000 And it was obviously, you know, they didn't get rid of it.
01:02:59.000 So they put it into the Torah.
01:03:01.000 Look, I would say similar to what Moses said, which is there's this incredible, I think it's Deuteronomy 27, where, no, it's like Deuteronomy 20, yeah.
01:03:12.000 He talks about the blessings.
01:03:13.000 If you do this, you get blessings.
01:03:15.000 And it's like one-eighth.
01:03:17.000 And then for seven-eighths of the chapter, it's like the curses.
01:03:21.000 And it is, if you do this, it really goes to show if you don't follow God's law, things are not going to end up very favorable for you.
01:03:30.000 And you think about it, Moses kind of grew, he was really sick of them by then.
01:03:35.000 He was actually happy to be done with them, right?
01:03:37.000 He was the most unimpressive group of people in the history of only God could deliver the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt to a great nation.
01:03:47.000 I mean, they're just they complain all the time, and we want melons and leeks and cucumbers and meat and bring us back to Egypt.
01:03:53.000 I mean, you know, oh my goodness, they have giants, you got talking donkeys, the whole thing's a mess, right?
01:03:59.000 But only God.
01:04:00.000 It's honestly a but Moses was right when he said, if you don't follow God, things won't turn out well.
01:04:06.000 So what would my final thing to the youth of my Moses farewell address would be?
01:04:12.000 It would be, you have a great country, and it's collapsing and it's going to be up for you guys to save it.
01:04:18.000 But you must follow God's commands and follow God's law.
01:04:21.000 You must put God first.
01:04:23.000 And if you don't do that, none of it will matter.
01:04:28.000 Thank you.
01:04:29.000 The last question, I promise, all right?
01:04:31.000 I'll be quick.
01:04:32.000 With regards to Trump, you know, God picks a lot of strange people.
01:04:37.000 Look at Matthew, look at Paul.
01:04:39.000 I mean, he doesn't always pick the clean runner.
01:04:41.000 But my question is: on election night, if everything shuts down at three in the morning, how do we counteract that?
01:04:48.000 It's a great question.
01:04:49.000 By the way, they're too eager.
01:04:51.000 Can you guys do a group question?
01:04:52.000 Can you guys three of you compare notes, okay?
01:04:55.000 So, all right.
01:04:57.000 Just talk to each other, and you get one question for your whole generation, okay?
01:05:00.000 Look, yes, see?
01:05:03.000 Great.
01:05:03.000 I love the teamwork.
01:05:05.000 Ma'am, your question is excellent.
01:05:08.000 I don't lie.
01:05:09.000 You know that, right?
01:05:10.000 I cannot tell you that this next election will be clean.
01:05:14.000 I can't.
01:05:15.000 You must vote, and you must act like it is clean.
01:05:17.000 You must do everything you possibly can, like the Lord will act like he did in 2016, okay?
01:05:23.000 And deliver us from this evil, okay?
01:05:27.000 But I do not want you to get your hopes up as if they're not going to do another crooked steal.
01:05:33.000 The RNC, by the way, Ronna McRomney, should resign as chair of the RNC.
01:05:40.000 It is a disgrace that she is the chair.
01:05:42.000 They have not done nearly enough to secure our elections in my home state of Arizona, Georgia, or Wisconsin.
01:05:48.000 So here's my attitude: I'm going to do everything I possibly can to get our people out, to get us to vote.
01:05:55.000 I'm going to try to secure the elections, but I will not lie to you and tell you that this system is flawless and that we fixed everything.
01:06:02.000 We fixed some minor stuff in Wisconsin or Georgia.
01:06:06.000 But would you rather have me be up here and tell you that everything is wonderful and fixed?
01:06:10.000 No, that would be an abuse of the trust that you've put in me.
01:06:15.000 So there's nothing preventing it currently.
01:06:18.000 Hopefully, we can get a new RNC chair.
01:06:21.000 A new RNC chair should come in and start filing strategic lawsuits and come up with a battle plan to make sure that votes are counted quickly and ethically and transparently.
01:06:31.000 And we do not have that currently.
01:06:33.000 Election integrity is the big issue that people still do not want to talk about.
01:06:38.000 But look, I share your passion and your zeal with this.
01:06:41.000 So people say, but Charlie, then why fight?
01:06:43.000 Because I believe in a God of miracles.
01:06:45.000 And I remember the doubt of 2016.
01:06:51.000 I remember how we doubted.
01:06:53.000 And then I saw how God moved.
01:06:56.000 Thank you.
01:06:57.000 All right.
01:06:57.000 What's your question?
01:06:58.000 Hi, Charlie.
01:06:59.000 We are all TPSA chapters.
01:07:01.000 That is the TD.
01:07:02.000 You guys should have said something.
01:07:03.000 Okay.
01:07:04.000 I think you guys are in the back.
01:07:06.000 I love that.
01:07:06.000 We are high school and college.
01:07:08.000 High school.
01:07:09.000 Yes.
01:07:09.000 What high school?
01:07:10.000 Douglas High School.
01:07:11.000 Okay.
01:07:11.000 You guys familiar with that?
01:07:12.000 Okay, very good.
01:07:13.000 I represent the UNR chapter.
01:07:15.000 I'm Chapter President Unar.
01:07:17.000 Amazing.
01:07:18.000 I'm so glad I called on them.
01:07:21.000 We should always say turning pointers get to the front of the line, right?
01:07:25.000 So, all right, the question.
01:07:26.000 Our question is, how can we bring more students to scripture and God as well as TPUSA students into our organization?
01:07:33.000 What a great question.
01:07:34.000 I also, I want to direct to you.
01:07:35.000 I didn't know they were here.
01:07:36.000 Two of our TPUSA field staff in the back.
01:07:39.000 And turning point action.
01:07:41.000 By the way, that's our political arm.
01:07:44.000 If you want to become a precinct committee man or anything political, talk to my man back there.
01:07:48.000 So here's, I haven't given this answer in a while, but it's the best thing.
01:07:52.000 Unhappy people are the worst ambassadors for Christianity.
01:07:56.000 You must be joyful.
01:07:58.000 Thankfully, you're in a generation that everyone is miserable, okay?
01:08:01.000 So it's true.
01:08:03.000 So if you're happy and joyful, they'll say, what is with you?
01:08:06.000 Say, I have Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
01:08:08.000 You'll be different.
01:08:09.000 If you are sullen and you have a heaviness to you, yeah, you know, the scriptures are like, no one's, you're a walking billboard for the gospel, right?
01:08:19.000 And so be long-suffering.
01:08:22.000 Be magnanimous, right?
01:08:24.000 Be truthful in all things, right?
01:08:26.000 And here, and every opportunity that you can, say, you know, the Bible says something about that, because there are a lot of questions that people ask.
01:08:33.000 They ask, the Bible answers every single question.
01:08:37.000 Why are we here?
01:08:38.000 Who created us?
01:08:39.000 Who should I marry?
01:08:40.000 You know, what does marriage look like, right?
01:08:43.000 What happens when I die?
01:08:44.000 What is love?
01:08:45.000 What is mercy?
01:08:45.000 The Bible answers all of it.
01:08:48.000 But the best thing you can do is to be a light of hope and joy and quite honestly, be different than this cynical, broken, and bitter culture that we're living in.
01:09:01.000 And I got to be honest, I feel so bad for young people.
01:09:04.000 This is like the saddest country ever right now.
01:09:07.000 Everyone's like moping around.
01:09:09.000 We have the hope of Jesus Christ.
01:09:11.000 Let's start living with it, everybody, right?
01:09:15.000 And it transforms you.
01:09:18.000 In fact, a couple things.
01:09:21.000 If you despair, it is a sin.
01:09:23.000 You are not allowed to despair.
01:09:26.000 If you find yourself despairing, cut it out.
01:09:28.000 Every day, I get emails from people.
01:09:30.000 Charlie, it's too negative.
01:09:31.000 I'm giving up.
01:09:32.000 Aunt, you're sinning.
01:09:33.000 Either you believe Christ is coming again and you believe in God's plan or you don't.
01:09:38.000 You cannot despair.
01:09:40.000 And the final thing is that by the fruit, you'll know it, right?
01:09:43.000 Is that we need to live out the holy scriptures every single day for a broken generation.
01:09:49.000 And they'll see the truth and the truth will set them free.
01:09:52.000 And then tell them to get involved with Turning Point USA.
01:09:55.000 Can you come to UNR?
01:09:56.000 We want you back at UNR.
01:09:58.000 You got to come back to UNR.
01:10:00.000 You guys would love to see me come back to UNR.
01:10:02.000 You guys would love that?
01:10:06.000 I think we're due.
01:10:08.000 I think we're due.
01:10:09.000 Help us wake up our students.
01:10:10.000 We need you to help wake up the students on our campus.
01:10:13.000 All right.
01:10:14.000 You might have sold me.
01:10:14.000 I'll talk to the team.
01:10:16.000 All right.
01:10:16.000 Can I say something in closing?
01:10:17.000 Is that okay?
01:10:18.000 Thank you, guys.
01:10:18.000 God bless you.
01:10:19.000 All right.
01:10:20.000 Really closing thought.
01:10:20.000 Please subscribe to the podcast if you can, if we could put that graphic back up.
01:10:24.000 That's the last shameless plug.
01:10:25.000 Here's what we'll close with.
01:10:26.000 Some of you might have asked, Charlie, are you optimistic?
01:10:30.000 If I said yes, I was optimistic we're going to win.
01:10:32.000 You'd go home and do nothing because you would say, oh, Charlie's optimistic.
01:10:35.000 I don't have to do anything.
01:10:38.000 If I said I was pessimistic, you'd go home and do nothing because you'd say, oh, you know, Charlie thinks we're going to lose.
01:10:44.000 Instead, I think we must act.
01:10:46.000 Now, some of you might say, Charlie, I've done everything that's been asked of me.
01:10:50.000 I'm going to go to the caucus.
01:10:52.000 I watch your podcast.
01:10:54.000 I bought the pillow.
01:10:55.000 I have done everything that has been asked of me.
