00:03:21.000 President Donald J. Trump giving a special tribute to Arizona.

00:03:26.000 Had the opportunity to speak to the president on the phone yesterday, and he said, Charlie, I want to honor the great people of Arizona as a tribute to them.

00:03:34.000 He knows that Arizona was the best-performing swing state.

00:03:37.000 He says the people of Arizona have always been with him, have been so loyal and so good to him.

00:03:43.000 This is a tribute to State 48. Of course, people from all across the country, you're welcome to attend.

00:03:49.000 Amfest.com, A-M-F-B-S-T.com.

00:03:52.000 I warned you guys bigger speakers were coming and that ticket's going to run out.

00:03:55.000 We're going to have to turn off ticketing at some point.

00:03:58.000 We don't know when that is.

00:04:00.000 Again, so President Trump is the keynote.

00:04:40.000 The call to action.

00:04:41.000 AmericaFest starts a week from today.

00:04:45.000 The amount of journalists that are coming is full.

00:05:00.000 At AmericaFest.

00:05:02.000 That's AmFest.com.

00:05:03.000 It is the center of political gravity.

00:05:04.000 And I just want to give such credit and thanks to President Trump.

00:05:08.000 This is him going across the country.

00:05:10.000 After he got back from France, he just went to New York.

00:05:12.000 But it's because of his love of the state of Arizona.

00:05:15.000 He said, Charlie, I will do it only if it is called a tribute to Arizona.

00:05:19.000 So that is AmFest.com.

00:05:22.000 President Donald Trump, I believe this is his...

00:05:25.000 First rally post-election.

00:05:27.000 Am I right in saying that?

00:05:28.000 I don't think he's had a rally.

00:05:30.000 Yeah, it is.

00:05:30.000 It is his first and maybe only.

00:05:33.000 In 2016, you might remember, he did the thank you rallies all across the country.

00:05:37.000 This is his big thank you rally to the beautiful people of Arizona.

00:05:41.000 We are honored, and so get it.

00:05:43.000 Let's have the biggest attendance possible, everybody.

00:05:46.000 Amfest.com.

00:05:47.000 America Fest will be talking about it, obviously, throughout the week.

00:05:50.000 We'll see.

00:05:51.000 Can we break 20,000 people?

00:05:53.000 Can we break 25,000 people?

00:05:56.000 AMFEST.com.

00:05:57.000 Let's get it done.

00:05:59.000 AMFEST.com.

00:06:00.000 I have no idea how many people are going to show up, but Lauren will figure it out.

00:06:04.000 AMFEST.com.

00:06:05.000 Okay, so, by the way, Time Magazine Man of the Year.

00:06:08.000 He's the Time Magazine Man of the Year, again, now coming to AmericaFest, AMFEST.com.

00:06:14.000 Today with some remarkable news.

00:06:15.000 Let's play cut 85. This is President Trump going to the New York Stock Exchange.

00:06:19.000 Get that ready, please.

00:06:20.000 President Trump is going to liberate the capital flows of this country, which is, of course, controlled largely by the big banks and the big corporations, while also rebuilding the middle class.

00:06:30.000 Everybody is going to be a winner under President Trump's economy.

00:06:33.000 He's going to use tariffs to hold our enemies accountable and our adversaries and people that have been Destroying us on trade, challenging the free trade orthodoxy, saying that deindustrialization has been good for the country.

00:06:44.000 President Trump will rebuild the American middle class.

00:06:46.000 Wages will go up.

00:06:47.000 Grocery prices will go down.

00:06:49.000 You're going to see the stock prices go up.

00:06:50.000 You are going to see the unleashing of free markets while also making sure that our trade policies are in alignment with those of Alexander Hamilton and Abraham Lincoln.

00:07:01.000 The idea that we've gotten away from tariffs has been a bad idea over the last 50 years.

00:07:05.000 You can have tariffs and also low taxes domestically.

00:07:08.000 In fact, that's what President Trump supports.

00:07:10.000 It is a new corporatist idea to have no tariffs whatsoever.

00:07:14.000 And when you are the incumbent economic power, when you are the global reserve currency status, you're able to do whatever you want with tariffs because everyone wants to come into this country.

00:07:23.000 What President Trump wants is saying, wait a second, why can you just do business for free here?

00:07:27.000 You want to do business in America so badly?

00:07:29.000 You've got to pay 5% of the way in.

00:07:30.000 And by the way, before I play Cut85, everyone screams about tariffs and all this.

00:07:34.000 I sat down the other day with a very dear friend and billionaire, donor to Turning Point USA, who has a lot of investments, but one of which is involved in textiles.

00:07:43.000 And he said, well, what do you think is going to happen?

00:07:45.000 I said, well, President Trump has publicly said it's going to be about, you know, maybe 10% on textiles.

00:07:50.000 And they said, oh, is that it?

00:07:51.000 No big deal.

00:07:51.000 It's all fear-mongering.

00:07:53.000 It's all fear-mongering.

00:07:55.000 They're like, oh, 10%, no big deal.

00:07:56.000 Do you know that 10% on imports of China could raise hundreds of billions of dollars and also result in the redomiciling of capital and an economic explosion waiting to happen for this country?

00:08:06.000 I love this visual.

00:08:07.000 This is President Trump taking the New York Stock Exchange by storm.

00:08:11.000 You got Scott Besson.

00:08:13.000 You got Brooke Rollins.

00:08:14.000 You got J.D. Vance.

00:08:16.000 You got Bobby Kennedy.

00:08:17.000 You got Doug Burgum.

00:08:18.000 You got the Trump Posse plus Ivanka Tiffany.

00:08:21.000 Kelly Loeffler.

00:08:22.000 Playcut 85. So, ladies and gentlemen, go on.

00:08:26.000 We're going to put it straight.

00:08:29.000 We're going to give tremendous incentive like no other country has.

00:08:32.000 We're cutting your taxes.

00:08:33.000 We're going to cut them very substantially.

00:08:35.000 We got them down to 21 percent from probably 42 or 44 percent, depending on where you are.

00:08:41.000 We got them down to 21. Everyone said that was a miracle.

00:08:44.000 Now we're getting them down to 15, but only if you make your product here.

00:08:48.000 Otherwise, you pay 21, which is not bad.

00:08:50.000 It's in the middle of the pact.

00:08:52.000 We are incentivizing everybody to come back to the United States. 1.00

00:08:57.000 We want you back here.

00:08:58.000 Car manufacturers, everybody.

00:09:00.000 And we have one product that nobody has, really, to the extent that we do.

00:09:04.000 It's called oil and gas.

00:09:06.000 There is no country in the world that has more.

00:09:08.000 We're number one.

00:09:09.000 I brought it to number one during my first term in terms of production.

00:09:13.000 We're going to be number one plus.

00:09:15.000 We'll do numbers that nobody will really see before.

00:09:19.000 And when that happens, prices are going to start coming down because people can't afford their groceries and they're going to be affording their groceries very soon.

00:09:27.000 Perfect.

00:09:29.000 President Trump is saying that if you do business here in this country...

00:09:33.000 You got a 15% corporate tax rate.

00:09:35.000 And also, you avoid tariffs if you do business in America.

00:09:39.000 How does one avoid tariffs?

00:09:41.000 You do business here.

00:09:42.000 You avoid tariffs by building here.

00:09:44.000 You do tariffs by employing Americans. 1.00

00:09:46.000 You avoid tariffs that President Trump will use generously by hiring American workers and putting your bets in the interior of the United States of America.

00:09:57.000 Let's play cuts.

00:09:59.000 98, Treasury Secretary appointee Scott Bessent, great man, who's going to do a terrific job.

00:10:05.000 Play cut 98. What do you want to tell the nation about investing right now?

00:10:11.000 Well, look, I think what we're going to see from President Trump is Wall Street can win and Main Street can win.

00:10:17.000 It's like we're getting Trump won tonight.

00:10:18.000 All right.

00:10:19.000 Fair enough.

00:10:21.000 Wall Street can win and Main Street can win.

00:10:23.000 This is the operating truth of free market economics.

00:10:28.000 Now, mind you, we're not going to be a zealot with free markets.

00:10:31.000 If we need to upuse some tariffs, if we need to have some smart regulation, but generally markets, when they are liberated, lift people out of poverty and increase the standard of living for all people.

00:10:41.000 It's just the way it is.

00:10:42.000 We should not worship markets.

00:10:44.000 Our country comes first.

00:10:46.000 President Trump has the track record of the blue-collar boom, and it's going to be even better. 1.00

00:10:49.000 We are going to see an economic miracle happen again, and we've lived under four years of this garbage under Joe Biden.

00:10:55.000 And he has a team of all-stars that are going to make it happen.

00:10:58.000 Tax cuts, deregulation.

00:10:59.000 We've just been living under this malaise, and President Trump is going to unshackle the American economy and unleash American energy, entrepreneurs, artificial intelligence, the likes of which we have not seen in American history.

00:11:11.000 And him coming to go ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, he is going to awaken the sleeping giant.

00:11:16.000 And I'm just going to say this on the record.

00:11:18.000 Don't be shocked if we have 5% growth sometime next year.

00:11:23.000 I know that's going to sound crazy.

00:11:24.000 Do not be shocked if we hit 5% growth.

00:11:27.000 If all of a sudden we're doing a broadcast next fall or next summer and there's 5% growth, don't be shocked.

00:11:33.000 It might happen.

00:11:34.000 I'm not saying it will, but don't be surprised.

00:11:36.000 The holidays are upon us, and you know what that means.

00:11:41.000 It's a crazy, stressful time of year.

00:11:42.000 From shopping for gifts, hosting family, and attending endless parties, the pressure can really start to rise.

00:12:52.000 BuyOptimizers.com slash Kirk.

00:12:53.000 That is BuyOptimizers.com slash Kirk.

00:12:58.000 So much still to go to here, everybody.

00:13:00.000 But I hope you understand that the economic side of the Trump agenda must get sorted out.

00:13:05.000 Now, we might be heading for some sort of economic crash soon.

00:13:09.000 But again, I don't have as much data as I would like on this argument.

00:13:15.000 So it's somewhat anecdotal.

00:13:17.000 But part of economics is, of course, psychological.

00:13:21.000 And the psychological boom that we have seen just since President Trump won is going to materialize into economic gains.

00:13:32.000 If people believe that the economy is going to be strong, hilariously, the economy will be stronger.

00:13:39.000 If people believe that America is a good place to invest, then people invest in it.

00:13:44.000 A primary part of what the president needs to do is he needs to be a cheerleader for the economy.

00:13:50.000 We're going to grow.

00:13:51.000 We're going to invest.

00:13:51.000 We're going to strengthen.

00:13:53.000 It is a vibe.

00:13:54.000 And I know that's not the typical analysis that you'll receive on CNBC, which is fine.

00:14:00.000 It's not my favorite one to watch.

00:14:02.000 I prefer Fox Business.

00:14:03.000 I think Fox Business is great on market stuff.

00:14:06.000 But they'll usually just be numbers and numbers and numbers and analytics, when in reality, when you're looking, for example, to allocate $35 million with $35 million of equity and $100 million of debt to go build an apartment building in Charleston, South Carolina, it's more than just numbers.

00:14:24.000 You have to try to feel what is the energy flow going to be of investors and money velocity and And the spending of capital in the next three to four years.

00:14:34.000 And President Trump has given a psychological boost that will result in economic prosperity.

00:14:41.000 America has a lot of problems, but Trump is actually committing to unleash America's best traits instead of killing them.

00:14:48.000 Honestly, one of the greatest things that President Trump is going to do, which was just slow motion civilizational suicide that Joe Biden did, if all President Trump does are these two things, he will go down as a great president.

00:15:00.000 Unleash American energy and secure the border. 0.68

00:15:02.000 If that's the only thing he does...

00:15:05.000 And those are his legacies.

00:15:06.000 He'll be a remarkably successful president versus Joe Biden.

00:15:09.000 And by the way, that's like not even 1% of what he plans to do.

00:15:12.000 Day one, a lot of executive orders on energy.

00:15:14.000 Day one, a lot of executive orders on the board.

00:15:16.000 Boom.

00:15:17.000 Now, understand, even deeper than the executors on energy, we're getting a Keystone XL pipeline back.

00:15:21.000 We're getting Dakota Access pipeline back.

00:15:24.000 We're going to be smarter in the way that we export energy.

00:15:26.000 We're going to bring people back to the dollar.

00:15:28.000 You see, right now, we are about 42 to 48 percent of the world's reserve currency status.

00:15:33.000 It used to be 60 to 65 percent.

00:15:35.000 President Trump is going to get that back up.

00:15:37.000 He's going to break apart bricks one by one.

00:15:40.000 Oh, Brazil, you want to be part of bricks? 0.99

00:15:41.000 Okay.

00:15:43.000 Russia's going to be harder.

00:15:44.000 India, President Trump could handle India as part of BRICS in one phone call.

00:15:48.000 China, President Trump is so smart he invites Xi Jinping to his inauguration.

00:15:51.000 Which, by the way, we should be trying to calm down some of the China war hawks.

00:15:56.000 I'm very clear about the present danger of the Chinese Communist Party, but getting us closer to another thermonuclear war, they might take Taiwan, but we have the Russia-Ukrainian conflict. 0.96

00:16:08.000 Let's calm this down a little bit.

00:16:10.000 Figure out with prudence, which is the highest form of statecraft, it is the highest of the virtues of Aristotle, what do we want?

00:16:18.000 What are we willing to do?

00:16:20.000 Churchill always avoided war at all costs, and inviting Xi Jinping to the inauguration is one way to do it.

00:16:27.000 And we have to end this Russian-Ukrainian war.

00:16:29.000 This Russian-Ukrainian war ends, energy prices are going to go down.

00:16:33.000 You figure out the Middle East thing, not nearly as complicated as people make it.

00:16:36.000 President Trump has a phenomenal team.

00:16:38.000 Steve Whitcoff, who's a terrific man.

00:16:39.000 I got a chance to know him during the campaign.

00:16:41.000 10 out of 10 guy.

00:16:43.000 Expand the Abraham Accord. 0.79

00:16:45.000 Stand by our ally Israel, unapologetically.

00:16:49.000 But these wars are not good for anybody.

00:16:51.000 And this Syria situation, that's a toughie.

00:16:53.000 That is a new toughie.

00:16:54.000 That is a tough situation.

00:16:56.000 Stay the hell out of Syria. 1.00

00:16:58.000 President Trump has said that in all caps.

00:17:00.000 When he says all caps, he means it.

00:17:01.000 Very fluid.

00:17:02.000 Bad, bad hombres.

00:17:04.000 I don't know what the word in Arabic for hombre is. 0.90

00:17:08.000 Bad people that have taken over Damascus.

00:17:11.000 Not good.

00:17:12.000 But President Trump is going to have this combination effect.

00:17:15.000 I think there is a pent-up psychology of this country that is just willing to invest, that is willing to deploy capital, That is willing to take risks.

00:17:28.000 Trump wants to unleash entrepreneurs.

00:17:30.000 You do not have a wealthy country without entrepreneurs, period.

00:17:34.000 You cannot have a wealthy country.

00:17:36.000 You can have a command and control country like China or Russia, which is a very unpleasant place to live.

00:17:40.000 He wants to go to our most successful sectors and say, do your thing.

00:17:45.000 The left's plan was to view anything that grows or succeeds as suspicious.

00:17:49.000 President Trump's His gut and initial reaction, his base case, he starts from the premise that if you are wealthy or rich, you must have had a good idea.

00:18:01.000 Tell me about it.

00:18:02.000 And if I hear that you did it through suspicious means, then I'll come to a different conclusion.

00:18:06.000 He looks at success as a good thing, as the best of America.

00:18:10.000 I think there's a new American Renaissance unfolding in front of our eyes.

00:18:16.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:18:18.000 Joining us now is Senator Josh Hawley, who's just a rock star.

00:18:22.000 Senator, I don't think we've had you on the program since your successful re-election, so allow me to say congratulations.

00:18:28.000 Thank you.

00:18:29.000 Thank you very much, and thanks for having me.

00:18:31.000 It was not very much competitive.

00:18:33.000 I know they tried their best to thwart you, but you've been terrific.

00:18:36.000 So, Senator, I want to just kind of get a broad sense.

00:18:38.000 Where do these confirmation fights stand?

00:18:41.000 I know there's been a lot of palace intrigue, a lot of wishing and washing.

00:18:44.000 Do you think that President Trump stands in a good position to get his entire cabinet confirmed?

00:18:48.000 I do.

00:18:49.000 You know, I was just looking the other day, Charlie, and talking with some other senators.

00:18:52.000 You know, in the last 30-plus years, I think it's 35 years, only two times has a president's nominees for his own cabinet not gotten the full support of his own party.

00:19:03.000 That's 35 years with nominees from both parties.

00:19:05.000 So the point is this.

00:19:07.000 The baseline is the members of a president's party Support his cabinet nominees.

00:19:11.000 And there's a good reason for that.

00:19:12.000 The Constitution entrusts the cabinet to the president.

00:19:14.000 These people serve at the pleasure of the president.

00:19:17.000 And my view is my role in this is to help President Trump get the strongest possible cabinet who will serve him well and who will implement the agenda that he ran and won on.

00:19:27.000 I've had the opportunity now to sit down with a bunch of folks.

00:19:30.000 I just came from a meeting with Elise Stefanik.

00:19:32.000 I've sat down with Pam Bondi.

00:19:33.000 She's terrific.

00:19:34.000 Cash Patel, Pete Hague says we all sat down yesterday.

00:19:37.000 All great.

00:19:37.000 And I think all headed in the right direction.

00:19:39.000 So, and I'm pleased to hear that.

00:19:42.000 One in particular that seems to be getting a lot of headlines is Tulsi Gabbard.

00:19:47.000 You know, I'm very much behind Tulsi.

00:19:49.000 I think she's terrific.

00:19:50.000 What do you have to say about Tulsi Gabbard's nomination chances, what your colleagues are saying, and your opinions on Tulsi Gabbard?

00:19:59.000 Well, I think she's making the rounds and sitting down with people face to face.

00:20:03.000 And I always think that once you do that, once senators actually meet these folks, whether it's Tulsi or Pete Hegseth or others, once they get to sit down with them and talk to them face to face, it becomes a lot harder To take pot shots and to say, oh, well, I have these generalized concerns.

00:20:18.000 I mean, my message to my colleagues is ask to sit down with them.

00:20:22.000 Sit across the room from them.

00:20:24.000 Ask them your questions.

00:20:25.000 If you've got concerns, okay, fine.

00:20:27.000 Ask them your questions, number one.

00:20:28.000 Number two, I think as Republican senators, every single Republican senator ought to be able to say easily, 100%, no thought involved, every one of these people should go to a confirmation hearing.

00:20:38.000 And any senator who has concerns should at the very least, minimum, Wait until the confirmation hearing has happened where they can hear these people under oath answering questions.

00:20:48.000 So I think Tulsi...

00:20:49.000 Here's my prediction.

00:20:50.000 As Tulsi makes the rounds and talks to people, I think more and more people will come out in support of her.

00:20:56.000 I think they'll hear from her.

00:20:57.000 They'll say she's smart. 0.98

00:20:58.000 She's a quick study. 0.98

00:21:00.000 She's qualified.

00:21:01.000 She supports the president.

00:21:03.000 And remember, I mean, this is what I always say to my colleagues.

00:21:05.000 These cabinet positions, these aren't about...

00:21:08.000 The individual's own personal views.

00:21:11.000 These people are there to implement Donald Trump's agenda.

00:21:14.000 That's what it means to be a cabinet secretary.

00:21:17.000 And the real question here is do you support the president's agenda or not?

00:21:20.000 Correct.

00:21:21.000 And the American people overwhelmingly did three things.

00:21:24.000 Number one, they gave a popular vote referendum to President Trump.

00:21:27.000 Number two, they gave a convincing Senate majority, of which we now have a 53 Senate majority, the biggest in recent years.

00:21:34.000 And number three is they want to change.

00:21:36.000 They did not want more of the same.

00:21:38.000 They did not want Dan Coats at DNI.

00:21:40.000 They do not want the same thing.

00:21:42.000 They want a change.

00:21:43.000 They want the keeper of America's secrets to not send the intelligence service inwardly against the American body politic.

00:21:50.000 That our intelligence services should not be used to war game in political games here domestically.

00:21:58.000 Senator, it seems that there's this new flock of talent that's coming to the U.S. Senate.

00:22:03.000 We haven't spent enough time on this on our program.

00:22:05.000 Can you talk about Bernie Moreno and Jim Banks and some of the new faces?

00:22:09.000 Introduce us to the new roster of folks that are coming to the U.S. Senate.

00:22:13.000 It's exciting.

00:22:15.000 It's new.

00:22:15.000 It's grassrootsy.

00:22:17.000 Introduce us to your new colleagues.

00:22:20.000 What really strikes me about all of those folks you just named, Charlie, is that they ran right in tandem with Donald Trump.

00:22:26.000 I mean, you've got new senators coming now to the body who agree fully with the Trump agenda that, as you just pointed out, was endorsed by the American people, has been overwhelmingly endorsed by Republican voters, of course, for the decade now, but was endorsed in November by a majority of the American people.

00:22:43.000 And I think that is the key thing here.

00:22:45.000 For a long time, you look at Capitol Hill, and just to be honest, I mean, everybody knows it, The Republicans on Capitol Hill have been out of step with the rest of the party.

00:22:53.000 And what I love about these new senators, each of them brings different strengths.

00:22:57.000 By the way, each of them has their own areas of expertise, which are super impressive.

00:23:00.000 But as a whole, they are right in line with what our voters are saying, with what Donald Trump ran on.

00:23:06.000 I think they're going to be fierce, fierce advocates for the America First agenda.

00:23:10.000 And that's something to really celebrate.

00:23:12.000 Without a doubt, I think that the party is changing for the better.

00:23:15.000 Senator, I do want to get your comments here on something I mentioned in the previous segment, Syria.

00:23:20.000 Some of your colleagues are yammering about how we need to get involved and U.S. troops, and not U.S. troops, but they're getting close to saying that.

00:23:27.000 Assistance, they're saying.

00:23:29.000 Is it the United States' role to get involved in this fluid, unpredictable, and chaotic situation in Syria?

00:23:38.000 No, absolutely not.

00:23:39.000 And you're not wrong about troops, actually, Charlie.

00:23:41.000 We have a thousand American troops on the ground in Syria.

00:23:44.000 Well, there you go.

00:23:45.000 And we might want to ask ourselves, do we really need to have a thousand U.S. troops on the ground in Syria?

00:23:51.000 I think that what we ought to be doing, number one, is we look at that region, we look at our key ally in the region, that's the state of Israel, and I think we should ask ourselves, how can we further empower our ally, Israel?

00:24:01.000 To protect their security and also to look to our shared common interests in the region.

00:24:05.000 What we do not want is more American troops, a greater American presence on the ground.

00:24:10.000 That would be bad.

00:24:11.000 And in this civil war, listen, I mean, I'm glad Assad is gone.

00:24:14.000 We should all celebrate that.

00:24:15.000 That's fantastic.

00:24:16.000 But right now they are in the midst of a civil war, which is tragic. 0.98

00:24:19.000 But to think that the United States can resolve that magically somehow, I think is very foolish, very dangerous. 0.84

00:24:26.000 And we've got to be very careful here.

00:24:28.000 I think we need to think about reducing our troop presence.

00:24:30.000 And again, the key thing is we want to look to our allies in the region and ask them, frankly, to do even more.

00:24:36.000 And Israel is at the top of that list. 0.94

00:24:39.000 They're our key ally there.

00:24:40.000 Without a doubt.

00:24:43.000 If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.

00:24:52.000 It's time to try Relief Factor.

00:24:54.000 And the good news is Relief Factor makes it quite easy.

00:25:42.000 So let's speak more broadly.

00:25:43.000 I know you've been very critical of us spending money on the Ukrainian war.

00:25:47.000 Comment on that.

00:25:48.000 I think we are recklessly under these last 40 days of Joe Biden handling this entire situation.

00:25:55.000 What is your advice, your counsel to the president-elect when it comes to the Russian-Ukrainian matters, as you have had an opinion that is shared by the American people, however not shared by most of the U.S. Senate?

00:26:06.000 Yeah, that's exactly right.

00:26:07.000 I've been rebuffed by my colleagues constantly on this because I haven't been in favor of the hundreds of billions of dollars we spent on Ukraine.

00:26:13.000 I tell you what I have been in favor of, Charlie, is tracking every single penny that we've sent to Ukraine.

00:26:19.000 And I would just urge the president, the incoming president, to start right there.

00:26:22.000 We need to get an assessment of every dime we have spent in Ukraine.

00:26:26.000 Where is it actually going?

00:26:27.000 We don't know.

00:26:28.000 We have no earthly idea.

00:26:30.000 We deserve to know where every dollar has gone, number one.

00:26:34.000 Number two, we should say to the Ukrainians, we're not going to spend any more money, and We're not going to spend any more money in Ukraine right now. 0.97

00:26:41.000 We've spent $200 billion.

00:26:43.000 We're not spending any more.

00:26:45.000 Number three, we need to pursue peace.

00:26:47.000 The president is absolutely right about this.

00:26:49.000 We need to pursue peace that is in the strategic interest of who?

00:26:53.000 The United States.

00:26:54.000 I am not ashamed to say that I believe in putting America's security interests First, I'm often asked, well, do you want Russia to win or do you want Ukraine to win?

00:27:03.000 Well, first of all, nobody wants Russia to win, but who I want to win most of all is the United States.

00:27:07.000 We should seek an outcome there that will protect our interests, that will make sure that America is safe.

00:27:13.000 And Charlie, the last thing I'll say is...

00:27:15.000 I'm excited for Donald Trump to actually tell our allies in Europe that it is time for them to pony up in their own defense.

00:27:23.000 They have been free riding on America for decades now.

00:27:26.000 This is a perfect example.

00:27:27.000 They have looked to us to handle the entire Ukraine situation when it is in their backyard. 0.93

00:27:33.000 Nations like Germany need to step up and see to their own security. 0.92

00:27:37.000 It is vital.

00:27:39.000 And Donald Trump, I think, will deliver that message.

00:27:41.000 The Trump cabinet has been assembled and the other tiers are being filled out.

00:27:48.000 Legislatively, Senator, there was an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal that essentially argued that it's time for a couple reconciliation bills to then lead us towards a border bill out of the gate.

00:28:00.000 Do you support that of what Senator Thune is pushing?

00:28:04.000 The president has endorsed this idea, from what I can understand, to make sure that we can prioritize border and then taxes in the new year.

00:28:11.000 Yeah, and I think we should, yes.

00:28:13.000 And I think what we should do, Charlie, is we should take the president's cues on this.

00:28:17.000 This is going to be his administration.

00:28:18.000 It's his first 100 days.

00:28:20.000 He just ran on and won a platform that every Republican should endorse.

00:28:25.000 And I think that Congress ought to be looking to him to say, what do you want to prioritize? 0.87

00:28:29.000 And I would say if we don't use the reconciliation process to try and get real wins on immigration and energy, for example, in addition to taxes, then we're being really foolish.

00:28:38.000 And reconciliation is that congressional talk for that's just using the budget process to be able to get something through the Senate with only 51 votes.

00:28:48.000 It's a powerful tool.

00:28:49.000 The Democrats used it.

00:28:50.000 It's totally fair and constitutional under the rules.

00:28:53.000 And we ought to use it as Republicans right out of the gate.

00:28:55.000 And we ought to use it for energy.

00:28:57.000 We've got to get it reopened.

00:28:58.000 We've got to use it for immigration. 1.00

00:28:59.000 We've got to get the border closed down.

00:29:01.000 And of course, we ought to use it to cut the taxes of working people across this country. 0.99

00:29:05.000 Senator, I love it, and I agree completely.

00:29:08.000 And there are many of these fights that are looming legislatively, including a debt ceiling fight.

00:29:15.000 Who knows what Doge is going to be able to do to find and identify the waste, hopefully to be able to cut hundreds of billions of dollars of unnecessary and wasteful spending.

00:29:25.000 Really quick, Senator, I do want to get you on the record here.

00:29:28.000 An interesting piece.

00:29:29.000 Bipartisan lawmakers seek to break up giant healthcare conglomerates.

00:29:34.000 One minute, Senator, please walk us through this striking news.

00:29:37.000 Right now, we have got these giant insurance companies, Charlie, that are buying up everything.

00:29:43.000 Healthcare insurance companies, they're buying up doctor's practices, they're buying up pharmacies, they're buying up hospitals.

00:29:48.000 Every American's experienced this because all of your listeners, their bills, their insurance premiums are going up, their access to healthcare is going down.

00:29:56.000 A big reason for that is monopolistic behavior by these insurance companies that, frankly, Charlie, was prompted by Obamacare.

00:30:02.000 We can get into that later, but this is really what has driven mass consolidation in the healthcare market.

00:30:07.000 We've got to stop this.

00:30:09.000 We've got to stop these insurance companies from owning everything and charging more and more for basic services.

00:30:14.000 We need more competition and more choice for patients.

00:30:18.000 I love it.

00:30:19.000 Senator, we have to have you back on sometime soon to chat about it.

00:30:22.000 Senator, we're behind you 100%.

00:30:23.000 Thank you so much.

00:30:24.000 One of the most important voices in the U.S. Senate.

00:30:26.000 Senator, thank you so much.

00:30:28.000 Thanks for having me.

00:30:28.000 Okay, I want to zip through these stories here because they're so incredibly interesting and they're also applicable.

00:30:35.000 Okay, let's go to this one first.

00:30:36.000 This is the power of this audience here.

00:30:38.000 This is Mark Halpern having a dialogue with former press secretary Sean Spicer and Goodman about how we applied pressure on the senators that were afraid to confirm Pete Hegseth.

00:30:49.000 This shows the power of grassroots media, the power of podcasting, the power of what the Charlie Kirk Show and all of you in this audience that support us and that are members of what we are doing has become.

00:31:01.000 We might have played a role.

00:31:02.000 I know we've played a role.

00:31:03.000 I have no idea how big of a role of pulling Pete Hegseth Across the finish line from where it seemed as if it was a little in political oblivion.

00:31:12.000 Again, we're not taking credit for anything.

00:31:13.000 It's a big team.

00:31:14.000 Don Jr., Steve Bannon, Bannon War Room, Jack Posobiec, Matt Boyle.

00:31:19.000 It was a great, great team effort.

00:31:22.000 Listen carefully to the team that we have assembled.

00:31:24.000 Playcut 83. So, Charlie Kirk tweeted, Senator Rounds, who didn't like what Senator Rounds said about, I think about the FBI director, maybe.

00:31:35.000 You're up for re-election in 2026. If you're against any of Trump's nominees, the primary challenge wouldn't be hard.

00:31:40.000 Just a reminder.

00:31:41.000 Is that something they're fine letting Charlie Kirk and others bandy about, or is this something the Trump political operation might actually do?

00:31:48.000 And I thought about this after I saw the Charlie Kirk tweet is if you look, we've talked about how unconventional some of the tactics have been, you know, with Pete in particular.

00:31:59.000 Think about what the Heritage Foundation is doing with the ads, what Charlie Kirk and Turning Point are doing, keeping Republicans in line.

00:32:06.000 We gave a lot of credit in the last couple of days to quote Pete's team.

00:32:11.000 I think a lot of the credit has to go to the outside groups, though.

00:32:16.000 Coordinated by Pete's team, though.

00:32:18.000 Well, to some degree.

00:32:19.000 They're not turtles on fence posts.

00:32:21.000 No, but I don't think Charlie Kirk is looking for people to give him permission to do anything.

00:32:27.000 Or forgiveness.

00:32:29.000 Correct.

00:32:30.000 That was not done in a vacuum.

00:32:33.000 In other words, Charlie understands what he's doing.

00:32:36.000 It's the power of this audience, though.

00:32:38.000 I mean, I could speak into the heavens and scream at the sky, but it's you guys, the grassroots, that helped make this happen.

00:32:45.000 That help move the dial.

00:32:47.000 Van Jones agrees, by the way.

00:32:49.000 Look at him talking about the power of new media.

00:32:52.000 Play Cut 96. And I'm telling you, we are way off.

00:32:56.000 The entire political class is way off.

00:33:00.000 First of all, digital is a new door knocking.

00:33:04.000 You've got to understand that.

00:33:06.000 We were laughing our butts off at Donald Trump for suspending his door knocking campaign and letting Charlie Kirk and Elon do a bunch of stuff online. 1.00

00:33:14.000 We said, these guys are idiots. 1.00

00:33:15.000 These guys are stupid. 1.00

00:33:16.000 Then you start knocking on these doors. 1.00

00:33:19.000 You know what people come to the door with?

00:33:20.000 Their phone, in their hand.

00:33:24.000 They're in a 24-hour digital surround sound that has nothing to do with CNN, has nothing to do with any stuff that we do.

00:33:31.000 I ask myself, I got a teenage son, I ask him, who are the most influential people in the world today?

00:33:35.000 I'm thinking to myself, he's going to say Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z. He says, Kai Scent, Aiden Ross, Jinxie, and Sketch.

00:33:47.000 I don't know who he's talking about.

00:33:49.000 I said, what platforms are you on?

00:33:51.000 He goes, I'm on Twitch, Kick and Rumble.

00:33:54.000 I said, that sounds like you need to go to the hospital.

00:33:56.000 What are these platforms?

00:33:57.000 I'm telling you guys, the mainstream has become fringe and the fringe has become mainstream.

00:34:04.000 There are platforms, there are people out there that are getting 14 million streams and we're on cable news getting one or two million.

00:34:12.000 And so there is a whole world out there.

00:34:15.000 Kellyanne Conway, I hate to agree with her, but I do a lot of times, Donald Trump understood that and we didn't.

00:34:20.000 And it's not just Democrats that don't.

00:34:24.000 The entire political class is way off, way off, way off.

00:34:28.000 I don't have a lot to add to that, except the fact that Van Jones' son might be watching the Charlie Kirk show on Rumble.

00:34:34.000 We are dominant in new media.

00:34:37.000 It is the digital battlefield has expanded beyond the typical cable boxes.

00:34:43.000 And we are the media.

00:34:44.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
