00:01:27.000 The Arizona governor's race is arguably the most important governor's race happening this election cycle.
00:01:36.000 We have a phenomenal candidate.
00:01:37.000 She's doing a great job in a very, very tight race up against a total phony. 1.00
00:01:42.000 It's probably the best news Carrie Lake has is she's running up against a clown. 0.99
00:01:46.000 Blake Masters is running up against someone that's a fake, but much, much better candidate. 0.99
00:01:51.000 Katie Hobbs is a disaster. 1.00
00:01:53.000 So terrible, in fact, she won't even debate.
00:01:56.000 Joining us right now is Carrie Lake, the Republican nominee for governor in the great state of Arizona.
00:02:01.000 Carrie, welcome back to the program.
00:02:03.000 It's so good to be here.
00:02:04.000 She won't debate.
00:02:05.000 And, you know, we're actually doing a forum today.
00:02:09.000 And a forum would indicate that you sit on stage and maybe you don't debate, but you're at least on stage together.
00:02:15.000 And she won't even appear on stage with me.
00:02:18.000 And she's calling and making sure that they whisk her out before they whisk me in.
00:02:22.000 And this is just embarrassing.
00:02:25.000 I mean, you should do it, obviously, you know, very carefully.
00:02:28.000 Just try to confront her.
00:02:29.000 You know, just try to go find her and be like, Katie, we're running for governor in the same state.
00:02:33.000 Can we have a conversation?
00:02:34.000 I would go totally viral.
00:02:35.000 I mean, obviously be nice about it and follow protocol, but I would just go find Katie Hobbs. 0.62
00:02:40.000 I think you should go to one of her campaign events.
00:02:42.000 I'm not kidding.
00:02:43.000 And just go ask a question and just be like, why can't we talk? 0.98
00:02:47.000 She is a disaster. 1.00
00:02:48.000 Talk about how radical she is. 1.00
00:02:49.000 Why is she so afraid to debate? 0.75
00:02:51.000 I don't think talking is her strong suit.
00:02:53.000 I don't think she's good at words.
00:02:55.000 No, I mean, I don't know if you saw the video.
00:02:58.000 I think it was a week or two ago.
00:02:59.000 And one of her own campaign staffers said, you know, hey, can you help me out?
00:03:03.000 I'm knocking doors for you.
00:03:04.000 And people are asking about the border.
00:03:07.000 What's your policy?
00:03:08.000 She stumbled and bumbled and couldn't even form a sentence on what her policy is because her policy is non-existent on the border. 0.98
00:03:16.000 Her policy is to let Joe Biden handle it.
00:03:18.000 And she knows she's in trouble on the border because guess what?
00:03:22.000 Democrats care about a secure border as well.
00:03:25.000 Democrats don't want the cartels in control of our border. 0.97
00:03:28.000 Democrats don't want fentanyl pouring in, killing our young people.
00:03:32.000 I have a list of the stuff she voted for and against while she was in the legislature for eight years, Charlie.
00:03:37.000 I'm actually appalled and shocked by it.
00:03:40.000 She voted against the border wall.
00:03:42.000 She voted against a virtual border wall.
00:03:45.000 She voted twice against the border strike force. 0.50
00:03:48.000 She voted to give illegals in-state tuition, so a big tuition discount.
00:03:54.000 And she voted against asking for Congress and the federal government to help us pay for some of the effects that we're dealing with because of illegal immigration and a wide open border.
00:04:06.000 She's actually on the cartel side, not on the American people's side.
00:04:11.000 And that's just her, that's just when it comes to the border. 1.00
00:04:14.000 When you think about education, she voted to have sex education begin in kindergarten. 1.00
00:04:20.000 She doesn't want us to be funding our students instead of this school.
00:04:24.000 She wants these failing schools to be funded.
00:04:27.000 And she actually voted against giving teachers raises. 1.00
00:04:30.000 I don't know how the Democrats ended up with her on the ticket, but she's a nightmare. 0.55
00:04:35.000 She knows it.
00:04:36.000 Her staff knows it.
00:04:37.000 And that's why they won't go anywhere near a debate stage.
00:04:40.000 They're afraid.
00:04:41.000 And she's incredibly inarticulate. 1.00
00:04:43.000 But Carrie, you're still being outspent.
00:04:45.000 You know, when I watch television and I do some things, I was watching football.
00:04:49.000 Katie Hobbs has these, I mean, they're vomit-inducing ads. 1.00
00:04:53.000 Let's play one of them here.
00:04:54.000 Let's play, this is one of Katie's ads. 0.86
00:04:56.000 It's a joke.
00:04:57.000 It's Cut 72, but she's got a lot of money to run these ads. 1.00
00:04:59.000 Play Cut 72.
00:05:01.000 When it comes to the border, Katie Hobbs gets it. 0.59
00:05:04.000 As a border sheriff, let me tell you, Katie Hobbs is on our team. 0.99
00:05:08.000 She's on the team of law enforcement.
00:05:09.000 Katie Hobbs will deliver whatever resources are needed to keep you safe, my team safe, our state safe.
00:05:16.000 She's not here to politicize our border. 0.97
00:05:19.000 Katie Hobbs has a plan and solutions. 0.99
00:05:21.000 I'm tired of the talk.
00:05:23.000 Katie Hobbs is about action.
00:05:25.000 Katie Hobbs will keep our border secure.
00:05:28.000 She'll get this job done.
00:05:32.000 Carry your thoughts.
00:05:33.000 The librarian wants to close the border.
00:05:36.000 She found two weak sheriffs.
00:05:38.000 We actually have two weak sheriffs in this state. 0.97
00:05:40.000 They're liberals and they've got their head in the sand.
00:05:44.000 Their idea when it comes to dealing with the border is invite everybody in and then set them up, put them up in hotel rooms and let them stay forever.
00:05:53.000 These are the, she actually found two people who might be weaker than she is on the border.
00:05:58.000 We actually have a couple of weak sheriffs in Arizona. 0.74
00:06:01.000 Sad to say that.
00:06:02.000 But let me tell you, you talk to someone like Sheriff Mark Lamb, who really gets it.
00:06:06.000 He understands what's going on with that border.
00:06:08.000 We have a crisis going on when it comes to our young people, 18 to 45, being killed by this poisonous fentanyl, a weapon of mass destruction, killing hundreds of thousands of people in our country.
00:06:22.000 And how we can sit here as Arizonans and allow for Arizona to be the pipeline for the most dangerous drug this world's ever seen pouring into this country.
00:06:31.000 I'm not okay with it.
00:06:32.000 And I'm going to do everything in my power starting January of 2023 to stop that.
00:06:38.000 So kind of on that note, it kind of does give me a little bit of hope, though, that the state of Arizona is so in favor of border security that Katie Hobbs has to pretend that she's in favor of border security.
00:06:50.000 I mean, the people are with us completely and totally.
00:06:52.000 People can go to CarrieLake.com to support Carrie.
00:06:55.000 It's K-A-R-I-L-A-K-E.com.
00:07:00.000 And so I want to ask you, Carrie, about something that's really, you know, kind of troubling me, which is the federal government coming in, 87,000 IRS agents, just kind of the overreaching amount of federal power that is coming into Arizona.
00:07:13.000 What will you as governor do?
00:07:14.000 What is your pledge to people of Arizona to push back against this federal overreach of power?
00:07:19.000 It's just, I have no words, and I'm very rarely at a loss of words for the government hiring 87,000 IRS agents and arming them.
00:07:29.000 You know who they're going to go after.
00:07:30.000 Obviously, Joe Biden has weaponized the federal government.
00:07:34.000 They're probably going to go after people who are conservative.
00:07:37.000 They've got lists of who's who.
00:07:39.000 And Joe Biden made mince no words when he had that just demonic address to the nation last week, basically calling out people who didn't vote for him.
00:07:49.000 So that's who they're going to be aiming for.
00:07:52.000 And we're going to push back on the federal government.
00:07:54.000 And I'm not ashamed to say that.
00:07:55.000 I think this last session in the Supreme Court, and I believe the case was EPA versus West Virginia, that cracked open the door for states to push back against these unelected bureaucrats in these agencies that have become far too big, far too powerful, and far too political.
00:08:17.000 And I intend to push back against them.
00:08:19.000 EPA, IRS, all of these federal agencies, these are not elected representatives.
00:08:25.000 They are bureaucrats who've been in office in these positions for far too long.
00:08:30.000 And in many cases, they have have more power now than our elected officials.
00:08:36.000 And that's not how this system operates.
00:08:38.000 So we will push back if we find out that they are going after people for ideological reasons. 0.98
00:08:42.000 We'll do everything in our power as a state to stop that because we're not going to have people attacked and gone after by our own government because they have different political beliefs than the incompetent fool sitting in the White House. 0.92
00:08:57.000 One of the issues that I see coming to Arizona soon is power grid failures. 0.90
00:09:02.000 What are your thoughts on that?
00:09:03.000 This is something that is really a state's rights issue.
00:09:06.000 And California is now experiencing blackouts and energy problems.
00:09:09.000 It's only going to get worse, I think, as we get into the winter months.
00:09:12.000 What is going to be your plan?
00:09:14.000 What is your agenda to make sure Arizona remains not just secure when it comes to energy, but also doesn't have to rely on other states for also water as well?
00:09:26.000 I want to expand our energy.
00:09:29.000 We sell a lot of our energy to California. 0.75
00:09:32.000 And if I want to expand and be an energy state where we have more nuclear, we have more reliable power, expand it as much as humanly possible and make that a commodity that we can sell to these blue states who have just absolute asinine leadership and they don't even know how to power their own state.
00:09:52.000 We can actually use that to our advantage. 0.95
00:09:54.000 The idiocy in California and the way they run that state, we can then sell them more power and that can be a huge commodity for Arizona. 0.96
00:10:03.000 Katie Hobbs writes on her website, she will hire an equity czar who will hold the state accountable to hire employees who represent the wide-ranging diversity of our state. 0.97
00:10:12.000 The Hobbes administration will create the position of chief equity officer to implement measures that will build a more diverse government and force transparency.
00:10:19.000 Perry Lake, will you have a chief equity officer?
00:10:23.000 No, I'm not hiring a chief equity officer.
00:10:26.000 Why doesn't Katie Hobbs just check her racism? 1.00
00:10:29.000 You know, the left always calls us racists and Nazis and all that garbage. 1.00
00:10:34.000 And the fact of the matter is they're the racists. 0.99
00:10:36.000 And Katie Hobbs is a adjudicated racist, twice convicted racist, unanimously by two separate juries.
00:10:46.000 She paid women and women of color less than she paid their counterparts who were men. 0.99
00:10:53.000 This is disgusting.
00:10:54.000 We are paying for that, Charlie. 0.80
00:10:56.000 We, the people of Arizona, are paying a settlement nearly $3 million because Katie Hobbs is racist. 1.00
00:11:02.000 She paid Telonia Adams, a staffer, when she was out in the legislature, not just a little bit less, $30,000 less than her male counterparts.
00:11:11.000 And when Ms. Adams discovered that and brought it to Hobbes' attention, Hobbes didn't remedy it and say, we're so sorry.
00:11:19.000 How did this happen?
00:11:20.000 Let's fix it.
00:11:21.000 She fired her. 1.00
00:11:22.000 Telonia Adams took her to court, won two separate jury verdicts, and the people of Arizona are paying nearly $3 million in settlements.
00:11:31.000 During that court hearing, we found out, this is a recent case, by the way, that not only is she racist, that in her role as Secretary of State, she's never hired an African-American employee.
00:11:44.000 This woman shouldn't be anywhere near the governor's office. 1.00
00:11:47.000 When you drive over a pothole, when you see a problem that you wish that the city or the state was taking care of, just remember, every time you drive over a pothole, that's a pothole we're not fixing because we are paying nearly $3 million for Katie Hobbs racism.
00:12:03.000 Trust me, the roads in Arizona are going to need some help soon.
00:12:05.000 I'm telling you, the infrastructure is falling apart in this state.
00:12:08.000 And the homelessness, the homelessness is just getting completely and totally out of control.
00:12:12.000 This state is quickly becoming.
00:12:15.000 California in far too many ways. 0.99
00:12:17.000 It's disgusting.
00:12:18.000 And that's why, Charlie, and that's why one of my top priorities is addressing homelessness.
00:12:24.000 I recognize because I've seen what happened to California.
00:12:26.000 It has become a state with hollowed out cities.
00:12:29.000 Nobody wants to work there in those cities and live there because they're homeless encampments.
00:12:35.000 There's tents along the sides of the road.
00:12:37.000 And this is happening in Arizona now.
00:12:39.000 Our homeless population has nearly doubled in the past four or five years.
00:12:43.000 And that's why we put together a great plan to tackle the chronic street homelessness.
00:12:49.000 We're going to ban what they call urban camping and tents on our streets.
00:12:53.000 And we're going to actually build enough shelter beds to get people help.
00:12:56.000 We're going to tell them they've got to get help.
00:12:58.000 They're no longer allowed to live and use drugs on the street, but we will get them help.
00:13:03.000 We are compassionate people.
00:13:04.000 And if they refuse that help, they're going to have to move along because we will not allow people to just live on the streets, use drugs, commit crimes.
00:13:12.000 And we're going to start going hard on these small crimes, trespassing, public drug use, because we need to restore quality of life in Arizona.
00:13:20.000 The hardworking, taxpaying citizens deserve a little bit of compassion.
00:13:25.000 And they want their parks back and they want their streets back.
00:13:28.000 And frankly, we need every individual to be a contributing citizen in society.
00:13:33.000 We can't afford to have people living on the street with a needle in their arm.
00:13:37.000 God didn't envision anybody to have that life.
00:13:40.000 We're going to help people out.
00:13:41.000 The state is getting wildly out of control.
00:13:42.000 This is why we need you as governor.
00:13:44.000 They're building marijuana clinics on Frank Lloyd Wright in Scottsdale.
00:13:48.000 I mean, what state do they think we're living in here?
00:13:50.000 Arizona is a family-friendly state that they're bringing in these degenerate values in.
00:13:57.000 And Katie Hobbs is a spokesperson of that.
00:13:59.000 Tell people one minute remaining, Carrie, the need to support you.
00:14:02.000 I mean, you're being outspent because.
00:14:04.000 I want you to support me.
00:14:05.000 I want you to talk to your neighbors about me.
00:14:07.000 We have policies that are good for all Arizonans, Democrat, Independent, and Republican.
00:14:12.000 This is not even about politics.
00:14:13.000 It's about policy.
00:14:15.000 And our policy will help make Arizona the greatest state in the country.

00:14:26.000 Sign up to volunteer.
00:14:28.000 Share the message about my policies when it comes to the border.
00:14:31.000 It's the greatest, most aggressive, bold border policy the country's ever seen.
00:14:35.000 That's exactly what we need right now in this crisis we're in.
00:14:38.000 And just share the information with your neighbors.
00:14:42.000 Talk to independents and even Democrats.
00:14:44.000 I want every Arizonan's vote, and I'm working hard to get it.
00:14:47.000 I'm happy to debate my opponent at any time.
00:14:50.000 She can write the questions.
00:14:52.000 She can choose the moderator.
00:14:53.000 She can name the time.
00:14:54.000 I will be there, show up with bells and whistles ready to debate her on the topics that are important to Arizona.
00:15:01.000 Katie Hobbs is a disgrace to all of our intelligence. 1.00
00:15:03.000 We got to make sure you win, Kerry.
00:15:05.000 They're trying to do the Joe Biden thing.
00:15:07.000 Katie Hobbs is a total disaster. 1.00
00:15:09.000 And we're going to make sure, do everything we possibly can.
00:15:11.000 Thank you, Kerry.
00:15:11.000 Thanks so much.

00:16:38.000 There is a new movie out that is going viral and it's something, I'll tell you, somewhat provocative.
00:16:45.000 I do want to give a little bit of a disclaimer.
00:16:47.000 In fact, I'll ask Alex how family friendly this is.
00:16:50.000 The topic is not family friendly because it's about Hunter Biden, who should be in jail and imprisoned alongside of his father.
00:16:58.000 It is a movie called My Son Hunter, mysonhunter.com.
00:17:05.000 And the producer of the film is the editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, Alex Marlow, and he joins us right now.
00:17:10.000 Alex, welcome back to the program.
00:17:12.000 Charlie, thank you so much for having me on.
00:17:14.000 I have to tell you, it is a compliment for you.
00:17:16.000 This is launch day for us.
00:17:18.000 It's a birthday for us.
00:17:20.000 And you're the only show that I wanted to be on today specifically.
00:17:23.000 So high praise to you and your audience.
00:17:25.000 That's great.
00:17:25.000 And very strong mustache, by the way.
00:17:27.000 Gotta tell you.
00:17:28.000 Thank you so much.
00:17:28.000 I've been working so hard on it.
00:17:29.000 You know, I walked the earth for 36 years.
00:17:31.000 I didn't realize I could grow one of these things quite this nice.
00:17:34.000 Yeah, I certainly cannot.
00:17:35.000 So that's a big win.
00:17:38.000 All right.
00:17:38.000 So tell us about the film.
00:17:39.000 Before we go any further, tell us, what is it rated?
00:17:41.000 Because we have a family-friendly program because the topic certainly is kind of an NC17 topic.
00:17:48.000 Tell us about the film.
00:17:49.000 Yeah.
00:17:49.000 Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up because I know you've got a family audience.
00:17:53.000 I have a family audience on my show, which you're kind enough to be on from time to time on Sirius XM.
00:17:58.000 This is not a family-friendly movie.
00:18:00.000 It is about Hunter Biden, and you can't do a family-friendly version of Hunter Biden and have it be remotely accurate, much less entertaining.
00:18:08.000 It wouldn't be entertaining either.
00:18:10.000 But yeah, but this is one where I don't think there's any actual nudity in it unless you want to include our Hunter Biden character in underwear.
00:18:16.000 There's one lady in underwear shot. 1.00
00:18:19.000 I will warn you that, but that seemed hasteful to me, but that's not for everyone in the audience.
00:18:23.000 But there's a lot of drug use because Hunter Biden's a crackhead, and that's something that is his most well-known of the many characteristics of his personality that's explored in the film.
00:18:33.000 No, I'm glad that disclaimer is there.
00:18:35.000 So people, you know, navigate with your own discretion, but it's accurate.
00:18:38.000 That's the point.
00:18:39.000 One of my favorite parts, it starts with, this is not a true story, except for all the facts.
00:18:45.000 Yes.
00:18:45.000 Yeah, it's a brilliant line, and it sets the exact tone of the movie.
00:18:49.000 That's the first line of the movie, or one of the first lines.
00:18:51.000 And it sets the exact tone because the movie is rooted in historical accuracy.
00:18:56.000 And right now, we're wrapping up a piece that I wrote at Breitbart.com right now about the eight articles I recommend you read before even watching.
00:19:05.000 You don't have to read them, but just they're all these factual things that show up in the movie, true stories about Hunter Biden and his life and things that you've forgotten about Charlie.
00:19:15.000 Even people like you and me who live this stuff every day.
00:19:17.000 We've forgotten so many of his scandals.
00:19:20.000 Like I had forgotten that he had his widow's ex-wife help him dispose of an illegal gun that he shouldn't have bought.
00:19:27.000 Like, I mean, that's the type of life the guy.
00:19:29.000 And then, of course, they lied about it.
00:19:31.000 And then some sort of vagrant found the gun at some point.
00:19:34.000 And, you know, that's the type of stuff that we've forgotten about.
00:19:37.000 This stuff should be a movie away.
00:19:40.000 It's exactly right.
00:19:41.000 It's a he is a cinematic character, and the left has ceded this space to us.
00:19:45.000 And this is the big point I want to make that you've done a very good job about personally, and that we've done a good job about at Breitbart: is seeing where the left has ceded territory to the right by basically omission, by ignoring us.
00:20:00.000 They've taken the character of Hunter Biden, arguably the most cinematic character in American life right now, and Joe Biden for that matter, who in his own way is very cinematic.
00:20:08.000 And they've acted like they're not even newsworthy, much less the type of person who could be the subject of a historically based comedy-drama film, which is what this is.
00:20:20.000 And so, we're jumping right in and we're taking that mantle.
00:20:24.000 And the film is very highly produced.
00:20:26.000 Robert Dobby, the director, you guys might know him from the Goonies.
00:20:29.000 He's one of the great James Bond villains of all time, is in Die Hard.
00:20:33.000 He goes around the world singing Sinatra.
00:20:35.000 He's an artist, he's a guy who is a true Hollywood figure, but he's also openly conservative and very much in the MA realm of the conservative movement, not just a typical establishment guy who pulls a lever for Republicans.
00:20:48.000 He's a deeply committed conservative who made this movie.
00:20:50.000 And he did exactly what you're hearing me try to describe, which is that he took those historical moments and then he sort of embellishes around the edges to make it fun and cinematic and hilarious.
00:21:01.000 It's a great thing, and mysonhunter.com is where you go if you want to check it out.
00:21:04.000 You all you have a pretty good lineup here.
00:21:06.000 You also have Carano, if I'm not mistaken, as well, right?
00:21:10.000 Gina Carano, who plays a secret service agent.
00:21:13.000 Yeah, the cast is terrific.
00:21:16.000 It's a Lawrence Fox as a star.
00:21:18.000 People who pay attention to UK politics would know him because he is one of the most prominent right-of-center activists in all of the UK.
00:21:27.000 But he comes from a family of thespians.
00:21:29.000 He is a trained actor.
00:21:31.000 He was a child actor.
00:21:32.000 He was on TV for I think 20 years until he got canceled for you know why, because he's against some of the draconian lockdowns and mandates that happen in the UK.
00:21:42.000 But he comes from a theater family.
00:21:43.000 Gina Carano, of course, was canceled from The Mandalorian. 0.98
00:21:46.000 Dizzy was working on a spin-off to her Star Wars franchise, and she's done, she's starting to have a new life in conservative media where she's absolutely beloved.
00:21:56.000 She's a massive follow-up, millions of people who want to go to bat with her. 0.96
00:22:00.000 She's the other star of this movie. 0.99
00:22:02.000 And then the other folks in there are just terrific as well.
00:22:04.000 A guy named John James, who's a known actor who plays Joe Biden, I think adds a lot more nuance than you might expect.
00:22:10.000 The Biden character and so many other players.
00:22:13.000 The movie is told through the eyes of a 25-year-old left-wing activist, which makes a really compelling narrative, a narrative device that Robert Dovey, the director, came up with.
00:22:26.000 And the actors who plays that's very beautiful and she does an incredible job.
00:22:29.000 I think she channels left and some of the people who have political awakenings while they're seeing the news for real by going to alternative websites and outlets to get their news.
00:22:41.000 There's so much to it, Charlie.
00:22:42.000 Way more than I could share in this brief time.
00:22:44.000 So let's play the trailer so that people can see it.
00:22:47.000 Let's play Cut 67.
00:22:50.000 So I'll tell you what's going down.
00:22:52.000 Do you know who I am?
00:22:54.000 They told me you were VIP.
00:22:57.000 I'll connect you to the government. 1.00
00:23:00.000 What kind of a moron frickets can pick up this laptop at a repair shop? 1.00
00:23:04.000 You're a Biden. 1.00
00:23:06.000 Act like everything he built life.
00:23:08.000 I just ruined it all. 0.98
00:23:10.000 I want to know everything that's on that laptop that can ruin my erection. 0.90
00:23:14.000 My friends on the road, then didn't you know? 0.94
00:23:18.000 I'm taking control.
00:23:19.000 I'll make an appearance and I gotta go.
00:23:22.000 Alex, it's kind of the approach is a little bit dark humor, kind of right?
00:23:26.000 Yeah.
00:23:26.000 Yeah, you nailed it.
00:23:27.000 You know, it's a dark comedy, is how I would, if I had to describe it, which is one of the toughest genres to nail out of Charlie.
00:23:34.000 Yeah.
00:23:35.000 But when it's done correctly, it's a home run.
00:23:38.000 So, this is where it's extra fun for me because I've seen it multiple times and I get something different out of it.
00:23:44.000 The first time I just laughed.
00:23:46.000 I thought it was a comedy.
00:23:47.000 I laughed the whole time.
00:23:49.000 The writer, Brian Dadawa, and Dobby, they layer in so much actual dialogue lifted straight from a laptop, straight from Joe Biden's speeches, that I couldn't stop laughing.
00:23:59.000 I was just, I was in stitches the whole time.
00:24:01.000 The second time, I really saw how precise they did the history because, in 90, 95 minutes, whatever the runtime is, they cram in so many things that you would have heard on this show or on my show or right at Breitbart that are just facts.
00:24:14.000 It just, Biden once said, we prefer truth over facts.
00:24:18.000 Well, this movie has truth and facts in it.
00:24:19.000 It's got it all.
00:24:20.000 And so, there is an angle for every person depending on what you are really looking for most in this thing.
00:24:27.000 Because if you want to be reminded of all the horrible stuff that's happening in this country, this is a very subtle way of doing it.
00:24:32.000 And if you just want to have a good time, this is a fun movie as well.
00:24:36.000 Yeah, because it would be tempting to kind of do the look at how terrible Hunter Biden is and kind of make the film just make people angry.
00:24:43.000 But you guys took a twist of we're going to, again, dark, like dark humor is very, very, very difficult to pinpoint.
00:24:50.000 Yes.
00:24:51.000 Right.
00:24:51.000 Tarantino does it sometimes.
00:24:54.000 Right.
00:24:54.000 It's just, it's a genre that it's easier to flop than to succeed.
00:24:59.000 I mean, just looking at the trailer, though, I'm like, this is this is well done.
00:25:03.000 And yeah, go ahead.
00:25:05.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:25:05.000 And I just want to share that what you're looking at, you're picking up on all the right stuff because we at Breitbart and you were as someone who really understood Andrew well and had been a great voice in evangelizing some of his ideas.
00:25:19.000 Andrew, I would like to think would have been at least as far along with his movie business if he was alive.
00:25:27.000 But I will tell you one thing, one thing he wouldn't have done.
00:25:30.000 He wouldn't have made either movies that bludgeon you with politics first and the aesthetics come second.
00:25:37.000 And he wouldn't have made things that are purely political.
00:25:40.000 And those are things that we're seeing from the right in a lot of cases.
00:25:44.000 There are some notable exceptions.
00:25:45.000 I won't name names.
00:25:46.000 I don't want to leave people out.
00:25:47.000 I think there's some people on the right that are making really good movies, but a lot of them are not.
00:25:51.000 A lot of them are not taking this approach.
00:25:55.000 And this approach is aesthetics first, politics second.
00:25:59.000 You will enjoy this movie because it's a glossy Hollywood production with snappy dialogue and good-looking people.
00:26:05.000 You also will learn a lot.
00:26:07.000 And the learning a lot part is huge for us because we want to make movies for conservative audiences with conservatives in mind.
00:26:14.000 But they have to be entertaining first.
00:26:16.000 And that's why we made this our first movie.
00:26:19.000 So it's, I want to ask you about distribution because we're getting a lot of questions, a lot of emails in.
00:26:24.000 The website is mysonhunter.com.
00:26:27.000 But where else is it going to be available?
00:26:29.000 Can people find it on Amazon Prime or the distribution is going to be difficult, right?
00:26:34.000 Yeah, very much so.
00:26:35.000 But we wanted to make it so it's uncancelable.
00:26:38.000 So the only way you can get it right now is mysonhunter.com.
00:26:41.000 And you have to go and you punch it in and then you have it for life.
00:26:44.000 And it's digital.
00:26:45.000 Some of you want DVDs.
00:26:47.000 We're bringing you into the 21st century here and you're going to have to get it from there.
00:26:52.000 And this is part of creating a catalog, Charlie.
00:26:54.000 This is part of a process where we cannot get canceled from Amazon.
00:26:58.000 We cannot get canceled from some other place.
00:27:00.000 And I'm not saying it won't be worth it to cut another deal with some of these places afterward, but that was never the intention.
00:27:06.000 We want this uncancelable.
00:27:08.000 So we have to build our own in some cases.
00:27:11.000 And we're trying that here.
00:27:12.000 That's the approach.
00:27:13.000 Yeah, because here's the way it would work otherwise.
00:27:15.000 You try to put it on YouTube or YouTube TV, they cancel you, you complain about it, and then your audience loses all enthusiasm.
00:27:22.000 Like, forget it.
00:27:22.000 Like, this is too complicated, right?
00:27:26.000 It cuts the momentum down, big league.
00:27:28.000 And not to say over time, you know, maybe some, you know what, Charlie?
00:27:32.000 It would get a nice news hit.
00:27:34.000 And when people try to cancel us and write a review that's purely partisan, you know, we'd some people like the Daily Post wrote a 3,000-word review before they saw the movie.
00:27:43.000 You know, when unhidden stuff like that happens, we're going to write it up at Breitbart and we're going to make hay out of it.
00:27:49.000 But we really want this so that you can't get it offline.
00:27:51.000 It cannot be taken offline.
00:27:53.000 And the only way to do that is to do it ourselves.
00:27:55.000 So mysonhunter.com is how you get it.
00:27:57.000 It's really not that bad.
00:27:59.000 In fact, it's great.
00:28:01.000 I was able to beam it up onto my plasma and it was super great.
00:28:07.000 It was as if I was just watching it off of Amazon.
00:28:10.000 I got to be honest, though.
00:28:11.000 The Politico write-up is not bad.
00:28:13.000 It's terrific.
00:28:15.000 The premiere of the movie.
00:28:17.000 I'm going to read part of it.
00:28:18.000 It says, My Son Hunter is not your prototypical Hollywood movie, and it did not get a typical Hollywood premiere.
00:28:24.000 The new film distributed by the conservative media empire Breitbart and released Tuesday had its first public viewing last Wednesday, night at a small screening in a nondescript office building in South Sepulveda, Boulevard, Los Angeles, goes on to talk about how this is, you know, all the stars that were there and how big it is.
00:28:41.000 It's great, Alex.
00:28:42.000 I mean, for Politico, that's big.
00:28:45.000 It was huge.
00:28:46.000 They sent, you know, the original headline, that beast, Charlie, Breitbart produced Hunter Biden film is a sign of political wars to come.
00:28:46.000 15 seconds.
00:28:55.000 I think that headline made Andrew Breitbart so happy.
00:28:58.000 That's exactly what we want.
00:28:59.000 That's fine.
00:29:00.000 And I mean, the other people are, you know, attacking it, but that's all good.
00:29:05.000 So, all right, mysonhunter.com.
00:29:07.000 You guys can check it out, mysonhunter.com.
00:29:09.000 So is it out now officially today?
00:29:11.000 Is that right, Alex?
00:29:12.000 Yeah, it's out.
00:29:13.000 MysonHunter.com.
00:29:14.000 You can get it today.
00:29:15.000 I know people are jumping on and watching right away, which is really exciting for us.
00:29:18.000 And join the conversation.
00:29:20.000 That's the biggest thing.
00:29:21.000 If you love it, if you like it, you don't like it very much.
00:29:24.000 I want to hear from you.
00:29:24.000 I don't care.
00:29:25.000 And I'd love to see a comment online or a tweet, whatever.
00:29:28.000 Let's talk about conservative art.
00:29:30.000 Yeah, I mean, it's just not just conservative art, just art in general.
00:29:33.000 And so the lead actor is Lawrence Fox.
00:29:37.000 Also, Gina Carano, John James, who plays a great Biden.
00:29:41.000 He looks like, he kind of looks and acts like Biden.
00:29:43.000 It's terrific.
00:29:44.000 And a couple other big names as well.
00:29:46.000 Robert Davi, who is the director of it. 0.96
00:29:49.000 And it says here, this motion picture contains sex, prostitution, drugs, cronyism, money laundering, more sex, a laptop from hell, Chinese spies, Ukrainian businessmen, the CCP, the selling out of America, the big guy corn pop, more sex, additional drugs, and family. 0.86
00:30:05.000 That is just hard on that tagline. 0.96
00:30:07.000 It's a good one.
00:30:08.000 So, Alex, walk through our audience here.
00:30:11.000 What does success look like for the film?
00:30:13.000 Not just people viewing it, but what does success look like more broadly of trying to move the Overton window or educate people on exactly what the Biden family has been able to get away with, but you're doing it in a little bit of a different approach?
00:30:27.000 What does success look like?
00:30:28.000 Yeah, there's a few ways to measure it.
00:30:30.000 And the first one is already happening.
00:30:33.000 We want to be in the conversation.
00:30:34.000 Culture is not just about what you're consuming every day.
00:30:38.000 It's what you're talking about.
00:30:39.000 It's what you're thinking about.
00:30:40.000 And it's getting new ideas into the realm of what ideas are acceptable.
00:30:45.000 And this has been one of the things that's been so shocking over the past few years is that really since Trump came down that escalator, the left is in their very best to try to limit what ideas you can talk about and what you can't.
00:30:56.000 And Hunter Biden and the Biden family corruption is clearly one of those ideas.
00:31:00.000 And the fact that this is getting mainstream attention, the fact that I'm on shows like this and people want to talk about this, that's already done.
00:31:07.000 It's happening.
00:31:08.000 You can't stop it.
00:31:08.000 This is a freight train going down the tracks.
00:31:10.000 Yes.
00:31:10.000 Now, there's a couple other metrics of success.
00:31:13.000 I would love to see enough people buy the film and support the film so that we can continue to do more projects like this.
00:31:20.000 Because the goal is ultimately to create that catalog of content that people will want to subscribe to, people want to have access to.
00:31:28.000 So then conservatives are fighting the big boys who are getting woker by the minute and give you your money that you send them to Democrat candidates into left-wing causes to make it so that maybe few of them have to do that and they can have content that we create and people like you create, Charlie, and creating that ecosystem and showing the water is warm and that there's an appetite for this stuff.
00:31:49.000 That would be the next metric of success, in my opinion.
00:31:52.000 So I think those are the big two.
00:31:54.000 One is already already gone and the second one is well underway.
00:31:58.000 Lori just emailed us, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:32:00.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:32:01.000 I just bought and downloaded it and watched it recently, like last couple hours.
00:32:04.000 The movie was so well done.
00:32:06.000 Keeps your attention.
00:32:07.000 Just hope at some point the Bidens end up in prison.
00:32:10.000 It's probably a big takeaway of that.
00:32:13.000 Let's play Cut 73.
00:32:14.000 This clip I think you'll enjoy, Alex.
00:32:16.000 Play Cut 73.
00:32:17.000 There is such a limitation of the point of view that comes out of Hollywood, especially on political movies these days.
00:32:26.000 Unbelievable.
00:32:27.000 Well, as the Americans are trying to take over Breitbart.
00:32:29.000 There are two. 0.88
00:32:30.000 Look, you cannot get a film produced now that has Islamist terrorists. 0.96
00:32:37.000 You can get movies produced. 0.99
00:32:39.000 In fact, you see them all over the place in which people of traditional values or corporations, American corporations are the bad guys.
00:32:48.000 Could you imagine what he would be doing right now?
00:32:50.000 Alex, you'd be having so much fun with the moment that we're in.
00:32:53.000 This is back in 2009.
00:32:54.000 That was 13 years ago, Alex.
00:32:57.000 It's unbelievable.
00:32:58.000 And I love that interview.
00:32:59.000 People didn't get the whole thing with Peter Robinson.
00:33:01.000 I remember when Andrew booked that house.
00:33:02.000 Hoover Institution.
00:33:03.000 It was great.
00:33:03.000 It's so good.
00:33:04.000 He's such a good interviewer.
00:33:05.000 Yeah, he really, I agree with you.
00:33:06.000 That's right.
00:33:08.000 So, no, but he nailed it so much and he saw this, which is why it's so important that we're doing this at Breitbart.
00:33:13.000 But we did wait until we felt like we had a movie worthy of Andrew Breitbart's name, which is all over it.
00:33:19.000 So that's why you got to bet on me.
00:33:21.000 I think people know that I try to be as trustworthy as possible in this audience, Charlie.
00:33:24.000 I don't come bring BS to this audience.
00:33:26.000 The movie is that good.
00:33:28.000 It is worth it.
00:33:29.000 But this is part of why we waited to this point to do this, is to make sure we had the right material so that we could go out and show you.
00:33:35.000 This is good.
00:33:36.000 It's not just conservative.
00:33:37.000 It's good.
00:33:38.000 But I think Andrew really keyed in on something that has only become more and more clear in the age of Woke Disney, et cetera.
00:33:45.000 We'll play that there is this.
00:33:46.000 Yes, go ahead.
00:33:47.000 No, we'll play.
00:33:47.000 No, no, sorry.
00:33:48.000 Finish the thought.
00:33:48.000 We'll play another Andrew clip, though, because I want to get one more in before the end.
00:33:51.000 So play Cut 74, then finish the thought.
00:33:53.000 The problem with the conservative movement is it's focused too much on politics.
00:33:57.000 The left, on purpose, through intellects who went, you know, who come from the academy, figured out that we needed to infiltrate, they needed to infiltrate the cultural institutions.
00:34:10.000 The cultural Marxists did so.
00:34:12.000 They did so in academia.
00:34:14.000 They did so in Hollywood.
00:34:15.000 They did so in the mainstream media.
00:34:17.000 And I say this over and over, but politics is downstream from culture.
00:34:23.000 Alex, 30 seconds.
00:34:25.000 That's it.
00:34:26.000 He nailed it.
00:34:26.000 And you can't just comment on the culture, which we all do.
00:34:31.000 You have to create it as well.
00:34:32.000 You have to get into the conversation however you can.
00:34:35.000 And that's something that we're doing too.
00:34:37.000 So it's not about chirping on the sidelines, which is fun to do and is necessary to do, but it is you have to create.
00:34:43.000 And hopefully this will send a signal to any of you artists in the audience.
00:34:47.000 I know there are a lot of you out there who want to have a future in the arts and don't want to feel like you'll just automatically be canceled.
00:34:54.000 I would love it if one day in a few years Breitbart will be the number one place you can go.
00:34:58.000 Well said, Breitbart.com.
00:35:00.000 Alex, thank you so much.
