00:01:41.000 Michael Seifert.
00:01:42.000 Michael, welcome to the program.
00:01:43.000 Michael, you had a very viral tweet that is just some commentary about illegals committing crime.
00:01:50.000 Tell us about that tweet.
00:01:51.000 I want to talk about Public Square, but let's lead with that.
00:01:54.000 Well, Charlie, earlier this week, I tweeted that in the last week alone, this was from Wednesday, in the last week alone, illegal aliens in this country have been arrested for the following.
00:02:05.000 Murdering a college student in Georgia, murdering a two-year-old boy in Maryland, raping a minor in Virginia, again, doing that to a minor at Knife Point in Louisiana, and shooting three D.C. police officers.
00:02:16.000 That was on video and really went viral.
00:02:18.000 And I ended with a simple message, which is that you are no longer safe in Joe Biden's America.
00:02:23.000 And within 36 hours, that tweet amassed a pretty substantial viewer count, largely because it resonates with the frustration that so many Americans feel.
00:02:31.000 These people came across our country illegally, which is breaking the most sovereign element of a nation.
00:02:38.000 If you're not willing to respect a nation's borders, you have zero respect for the nation.
00:02:42.000 So any of these people that are coming across illegally, claiming that they have some sort of admiration or love for the country, and that's why they want to be here.
00:02:49.000 They feel safe here.
00:02:50.000 If you actually love this country, you'll respect this country.
00:02:53.000 And when you actually disrespect the borders, you're disrespecting the country.
00:02:57.000 And then the folks, as President Trump said, they're not sending their best.
00:03:00.000 So when these folks come over, these military-aged males, and they commit these atrocities on our soil, you have to look to the leadership of this country and hold that person and that administration responsible.
00:03:11.000 This blood is on Joe Biden's hands.
00:03:13.000 And it's tragic ultimately because behind each of these bullet points is a grieving family right now.
00:03:21.000 And I can't imagine being in their shoes and knowing that the president of this country, who should be representing your interests, is actually throwing you under the bus.
00:03:28.000 That's right.
00:03:29.000 And just to go through the list, murdering illegals so far this last week, murdered a college student in Georgia, murdered a two-year-old boy in Maryland, raped a minor in Virginia, raped a minor at Knife Point, Louisiana, and shot three DC police officers.
00:03:46.000 Those are all illegals that are here, not with our laws.
00:03:51.000 They should not be here.
00:03:52.000 That is just the last week.
00:03:54.000 That is a murder, a murder, a rape, a rape, and a shooting of three D.C. police officers.
00:03:58.000 And that does not count, by the way, the DUIs.
00:04:02.000 The DUIs is a huge list.
00:04:05.000 Big problem is Central and South Americans that illegally come into the country and commit DUIs, not to mention the 100,000 plus drug overdoses, 60 to 70,000 of which are fentanyl deaths every single year.
00:04:23.000 I want to just talk about public square here as well, and it kind of ties into the story with Google Gemini.
00:04:28.000 Michael, I know you have some strong thoughts on this.
00:04:30.000 Tell us about it.
00:04:32.000 Well, last week was an entertaining week on X as multiple users started to discover the wokeness reaching new heights in the halls of Google.
00:04:43.000 This tech giant that used to be sort of the pinnacle of innovation has now revealed that they're nothing but a woke cesspool that did Bud Light times 100.
00:04:53.000 Basically, Google has this new Gemini AI product that has been highly touted.
00:04:57.000 People were really waiting for this to be the competitor in terms of a language model against things like OpenAI or Bing's AI engine.
00:05:05.000 And it was a dramatic fail, causing over $90 billion in loss of market capitalization for Google Alphabet, the parent company, in just 36 hours.
00:05:15.000 So what happened was that anytime you'd put in a text prompt that's supposed to generate an image, you would notice very quickly that Google Gemini AI was unwilling to show you white families.
00:05:26.000 They were unwilling to show you white historical figures.
00:05:30.000 In fact, they were basically coloring over all of our white founding fathers.
00:05:35.000 It looked like a Hamilton play.
00:05:37.000 So you'd ask Gemini AI, hey, who show me a picture of the founding fathers around a table drafting the Declaration of Independence.
00:05:47.000 And sure enough, it would be like a black man in a powdered wig.
00:05:51.000 It'd be a Native American woman.
00:05:53.000 It would be an Indian person all sitting around this table.
00:05:56.000 And then you'd ask it, show me a Europe.
00:05:58.000 This is my favorite, Charlie.
00:05:59.000 Show me a nice average European family.
00:06:03.000 Well, if you ask any normal person that question, we're going to think, okay, well, it's probably a blonde or brunette family from Europe that has some Anglo-Saxon or Germanic heritage.
00:06:12.000 But no, Google Gemini AI showed you a black man, a white disabled woman sitting in a wheelchair, and a disabled dog with only three legs.
00:06:24.000 That was their quintessential average European family that they wanted the public to see.
00:06:31.000 This ultimately resulted in a massive string of apologies from Google, but they also came out and admitted that it's going to take years to repair the damage that was done with their code, which means this wokeness was not just a little bug.
00:06:43.000 This is so entrenched in the heart of this Gemini product that they spent billions of dollars on that it will take years to reverse.
00:06:50.000 So Michael, can you, for our audience that isn't quite seeing it as macro as they should, and I understand, because we get emails, Charlie, what is AI?
00:07:00.000 It doesn't matter.
00:07:00.000 It's just like a trick.
00:07:01.000 Can you talk about the application in business, the application in education?
00:07:08.000 Because these are now, the best way I Put it is that think of this as a highly sophisticated search engine where people will then get what they believe to be true.
00:07:21.000 It will then dictate truth.
00:07:24.000 Can you build that out for some of our audience members that don't quite understand the ramifications of this?
00:07:31.000 Absolutely.
00:07:32.000 So, artificial intelligence is essentially a language model of outputs produced by certain inputs that are human generated.
00:07:40.000 Meaning, I will train an artificial intelligence to think and talk and reason and calculate based upon certain inputs I give it, which means that whatever humans are behind the creation of artificial intelligence and whatever biases or viewpoints they are bringing to the table,
00:07:59.000 you can expect a level of output from the artificial intelligence tool, whether that's OpenAI, Bing, Gemini, whatever it is, that is in alignment with those viewpoints that served as inputs.
00:08:10.000 So, why this is so destructive is if we're going to create a culture where trillions of dollars are shifted toward incentivizing artificial intelligence in career fields like law or accounting or search and development projects, if we are going to say that AI at the most extreme is literally the new source of truth, if they are the arbiters of truth, like we used to trust a search engine to display factual information objectively, this is really, really dangerous.
00:08:39.000 When one of the core inputs for the world's largest company that's producing this was: hey, don't show white people in any sort of historical positive fashion.
00:08:49.000 Only focus on minorities.
00:08:50.000 So, you're seeing what's happening here.
00:08:52.000 The future is being written by a bunch of people with ideological biases against a very large race of people in this country.
00:09:01.000 And where this gets ultimately super dangerous is when you actually extrapolate AI to its eventual conclusion, which is called artificial general intelligence.
00:09:11.000 So, one last piece here for everybody to note: the world of AI today is rather simple.
00:09:16.000 Developers give it inputs.
00:09:18.000 AI utilizes machine learning and scraping from all the different historical sources on the internet to create outputs paired with the input knowledge.
00:09:25.000 Where artificial general intelligence goes is AI tools having the ability to actually reason for themselves.
00:09:32.000 They no longer need human inputs.
00:09:34.000 They can be essentially self-governing.
00:09:37.000 That's incredibly dangerous because when these AGI tools eventually emerge that have been built by a foundation of woke ideology and on an existing platform of AIs that are against human flourishing,
00:09:52.000 conservative values, traditional values, family values, et cetera, you are going to have essentially a super intelligent digital being that is programmed from its inception to be woke as heck and geared toward entire races or sects of people if you're conservative.
00:10:09.000 It's something we should all be incredibly weary of, and it's something that we at Public Square speak out against adamantly very often.
00:10:16.000 Michael, that was excellent.
00:10:18.000 The way you summarized that was really crisp and terrific.
00:10:23.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:11:25.000 Michael, give us an update from Public Square.
00:11:28.000 Well, Charlie, the parallel economy is booming.
00:11:30.000 We are so grateful that we are now at 80,000 business vendors on our platform.
00:11:35.000 We have grown in a rather parabolic fashion, largely because Americans are so frustrated by watching corporate America repeatedly sell out the American people.
00:11:44.000 They have moved our jobs overseas.
00:11:46.000 They have partnered with a big government and weaponized their progressive values against the American people.
00:11:52.000 In many cases, like with Salesforce or Facebook, they've utilized massive corporate profits to sway elections.
00:11:58.000 And we're done with it.
00:11:59.000 We actually want to support Main Street.
00:12:01.000 We want to help small businesses that love the country and the Constitution know that 100 million plus American consumers stand with them.
00:12:09.000 And that energy and hope and positivity is actually converting into new customers on public square, supporting and patronizing these incredible business owners.
00:12:18.000 And the growth has been immense because of it.
00:12:21.000 So we have some exciting things planned for 2024.
00:12:24.000 One more thing I'll mention, Charlie, is that heading into the election this fall, we're trying to do a good job of actually representing the voices and the values of our small business community on public square through things like a town hall series that we actually just recently announced.
00:12:38.000 So we are going city after city to meet with elected officials and meet with our public square businesses in those regions.
00:12:45.000 So this week we were in Pensacola with Donald Trump Jr. and Matt Gates.
00:12:48.000 Next week we're in West Virginia and we head to Georgia and we head to Arkansas and head in a few different places to make sure that the American people know that the parallel economy stands with them and their voices will be heard heading toward this election.
00:13:02.000 That way people know when November does come around that this is a great opportunity to vote with your ballot, but it's not, your vote is not limited to the ballot.
00:13:09.000 You actually have the opportunity to vote every single day with your wallet.
00:13:13.000 Anytime you swipe your card, you are endorsing something and we want to help folks make sure that they're empowering the right types of businesses to thrive.
00:13:20.000 It's working.
00:13:21.000 Thank God.
00:13:22.000 I hope you're going to Bentonville, Arkansas, where Walmart is headquartered and Walmart is going to yeah, Walmart needs a wake-up call here.
00:13:31.000 Can you react to the New York Times saying that if we deport criminals, it's going to be inflationary.
00:13:37.000 Your response, Michael?
00:13:39.000 I'm curious who paid for this article.
00:13:41.000 I'm curious who the funders are.
00:13:43.000 If you look real deep into whoever's pushing the open borders agenda, you'll also often find that it's a major corporation at the end of the line that ultimately wants to fund this.
00:13:53.000 The same is true of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
00:13:55.000 The Chamber of Commerce used to be a bureaucratic organization that was built and established to help small businesses thrive and succeed.
00:14:02.000 It was supposed to represent the American main street, but instead, the Chamber of Commerce is now openly pro open borders.
00:14:10.000 New York Times here is making the claim that the deportation agenda that would be found in a next Trump presidency would somehow be bad for the economy.
00:14:20.000 They call it inflationary.
00:14:21.000 The opposite is true.
00:14:22.000 If we actually deported en masse the immigrants that are here illegally, the illegal aliens in our country, you would find that wages would actually increase for native-born American workers.
00:14:34.000 Here's a data point that's really important that your viewers, Charlie, take away.
00:14:39.000 Over the last five years, native-born job growth.
00:14:42.000 So if you're a native-born American, job growth has flatlined.
00:14:45.000 If you are an immigrant, your job growth in this country has gone parabolic.
00:14:49.000 It is exponential.
00:14:50.000 It's like a hockey stick.
00:14:52.000 And so the reality is the ruling class in this country loves cheap labor.
00:14:57.000 That's why they love illegal immigration.
00:14:59.000 That's why they hated Ron DeSantis when he announced recently that he was going to force all the companies that are here in this state to make sure that they had the proper documentation for the workers.
00:15:08.000 That's why they hate President Trump when President Trump says that in his next term, he will actually conduct deportations en masse.
00:15:15.000 They see it threatening their donor class.
00:15:17.000 These mega corporate entities that rely on cheap labor that is undocumented want to make sure that they get to keep their gravy train coming, even though it's the small businesses that'll be darned in the process.
00:15:30.000 Because what happens, Charlie, and I'll finish with this: if I'm a small business on Main Street and I'm trying to compete with the mega monolithic corporate entities that rely on cheap labor that aren't requiring documentation for their workers, the only way I can compete is if I lower to the lowest common denominator.
00:15:46.000 I'm going to depress wages to try to compete with the big boys.
00:15:49.000 I can't keep my wages super high and also try to charge the top-line revenue prices that these big giants do.
00:15:54.000 So if I want to stay competitive, I have to cater to whatever they're doing.
00:15:58.000 Well, if we actually start to level out the playing field and make sure that any company, regardless of their size, has to play by the rules and hire the proper people with the proper documentation, small businesses will win out in the end.
00:16:11.000 It will be true capitalism rather than this crony capitalism promulgated by lobbyists out of Washington, D.C. and K-Street.
00:16:18.000 I am excited by the next Trump administration for this very reason.
00:16:21.000 It's incredible.
00:16:22.000 Excellent work, Michael.
00:16:24.000 PublicSquare.com.
00:16:25.000 Thank you so much.
00:16:26.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:16:27.000 Good to see you.
00:16:30.000 For years, I've been talking about our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues, especially true if you're a Christian family.
00:16:36.000 For those of you worried about the best educational path for your kids and grandkids, I want to tell you about how Turning Point Academy is working with the Herzog Foundation, how you at home can also benefit from it.
00:16:45.000 They have an online publication called The Lion, and also Making the Leap, the Herzog Foundation offers a wide range of advice and information for Christian parents to make the best education decisions for your kids.
00:16:54.000 Go to Herzogfoundation.com.
00:16:55.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:16:57.000 So check it out right now, HerzogFoundation.com.
00:16:59.000 Portions of the Charlie Kirk Show are brought to you in part by the Stanley M. Herzog Foundation.
00:17:04.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:17:08.000 Joining us now is my pick for Senate, hopefully majority leader, Senator Rick Scott from Florida.
00:17:16.000 Senator, thank you for taking the time and for joining the program.
00:17:21.000 Your reaction to Senator McConnell stepping down in November, and do you have plans to make a run for Senate leader?
00:17:29.000 Well, first, Charlie, thanks, thanks for your show.
00:17:32.000 Thanks for what you do every day, and thanks for your support.
00:17:34.000 But so this is a big opportunity.
00:17:36.000 I mean, look at, think about this.
00:17:38.000 We could actually have somebody that actually believes in this country and believes in solving the problems of this country, running the Republican Senate.
00:17:47.000 And when we get a majority in November, or it will be in January, we can actually make big change.
00:17:55.000 So I'm seriously considering it.
00:17:58.000 As you know, I ran against McConnell about 14 months ago, and he rushed the vote to the next day, and we weren't able to prevail.
00:18:05.000 But here's the process we're going to go through.
00:18:08.000 We are going to first thing we're doing is we've called Ron Jonathan, Michael Lee, and I and some others have called for a conference meeting and say, hey, who do we want to be?
00:18:16.000 I mean, I'm a business guy.
00:18:17.000 What would I do in business?
00:18:18.000 I'd say, okay, so what's our strategy?
00:18:20.000 What's our plan here?
00:18:21.000 What are we going to stand for?
00:18:23.000 So that's, I think, step one.
00:18:24.000 I think it's pretty easy.
00:18:26.000 If that's what we're going to stand for, then who are we going to elect to do it?
00:18:31.000 And so that's, I mean, it's real simple.
00:18:34.000 That's what you do in business.
00:18:35.000 That's what we ought to do with this.
00:18:36.000 We ought to say, hey, we want to be this.
00:18:38.000 Do we want to secure the border?
00:18:39.000 Do we want to balance the budget?
00:18:41.000 Do we want to make sure we're not in forever wars?
00:18:43.000 Do we want to, you know, watch all, you know, just hold our, you know, hold your government accountable.
00:18:48.000 And if, you know, if we don't, let me tell you, here's, it's real simple.
00:18:51.000 If we want to go the same path we've been going down, you shouldn't elect me.
00:18:55.000 I'm not going to do that.
00:18:57.000 But if that's the plan, if the Mitch McConnell plan is where we want to go going forward, then no one should fix me because I'm not doing it.
00:19:06.000 I have been fighting to fix this, your federal government, and hold your federal government accountable since I got up there.
00:19:15.000 And with the support of a lot of wonderful other people, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, JD Vance is up there, Josh Holly.
00:19:24.000 We're fighting every day.
00:19:25.000 So the first step is absolutely, let's all get together and say we are going to solve the problems of this country.
00:19:34.000 I love that answer, Senator.
00:19:35.000 I have to ask, though, why don't you and your colleagues just respectfully tell Leader McConnell, let's get this done now?
00:19:42.000 I think it would help us in this election cycle to have a new leader where there's ongoing negotiations.
00:19:49.000 Why is he waiting till November?
00:19:50.000 Can you give us some insight into that?
00:19:53.000 Oh, we don't get anything out of him.
00:19:55.000 He never tells us anything.
00:19:57.000 I mean, it's just how he does bills, right?
00:20:00.000 I mean, he'll give us a bill at the middle of the night and expect us to vote on nine o'clock that morning.
00:20:04.000 So, no, he's not going to tell us.
00:20:07.000 But here's what happens.
00:20:09.000 I think we need to have change now.
00:20:11.000 But here's what actually think about what happens in the business.
00:20:14.000 The guy decides he's going to retire.
00:20:16.000 The day that that's announced, it's over.
00:20:21.000 Whenever the new leadership team starts, even if it doesn't, you don't get in the title right away, they're the ones running the place.
00:20:27.000 So, you know, we're going to start by doing the right process, by making sure we come together and say, we are going to solve the problems of this country.
00:20:38.000 And then when that happens, I think quickly we can come to a conclusion and say, okay, who can get it done?
00:20:42.000 Do we want somebody that's run a business?
00:20:44.000 Do we want somebody that's been a politician all their life and never has, you know, never had to hold anybody accountable?
00:20:51.000 I mean, it's going to be a pretty simple choice, I think.
00:20:54.000 Yeah, I am not shocked, but I'm saddened, Senator, when you say the leader.
00:20:58.000 Oh, he doesn't tell us anything.
00:20:59.000 Okay, that's just so dysfunctional.
00:21:01.000 I mean, let's say you became leader.
00:21:03.000 Can you just talk about how you would change the communication style with your colleagues?
00:21:08.000 I mean, robust communication in business, in life, is essential.
00:21:13.000 You shouldn't ever be kept in the dark.
00:21:15.000 Charlie, I'll give you the just, I'll tell you the difference.
00:21:18.000 Okay.
00:21:19.000 So I ran the biggest company I ran, I had 285,000 employees.
00:21:23.000 My job was to talk to the employees, right?
00:21:26.000 Because I didn't get, I didn't, we didn't serve.
00:21:29.000 We took care of 150,000 patients a day.
00:21:32.000 I didn't take care of those patients.
00:21:33.000 It's the people that the nurses and the doctors and the lab techs, they did.
00:21:38.000 So my job was to make them successful.
00:21:42.000 How can I help you do your job better?
00:21:44.000 Right?
00:21:45.000 That was my whole job, get them right equipment, give them right training, give them encouragement, support them.
00:21:52.000 That's what I have to do.
00:21:54.000 So up here, how many times do you think people in, I've been up in D.C. five years.
00:22:00.000 How many times has anybody in leadership come and say, hey, Rick, let me help you become a better senator?
00:22:05.000 It's pretty easy, Charlie.
00:22:06.000 Zero.
00:22:07.000 So the first thing I would do is I'd say, you sit down with everybody and you say, how can I help you do what the Constitution says, represent your state?
00:22:18.000 Because if we all represented our states, we wouldn't do this crazy stuff because it's not good for the people in our states.
00:22:24.000 So the first thing you do is you sit down with everybody and say, how do I help you to represent your state because I believe that's better for the country?
00:22:33.000 So that's what I do.
00:22:34.000 And then you can, then you, then the other, here's the other thing, Charlie.
00:22:38.000 You know, Ron Johnson, Mike, and I, and some others have, you know, forced the conference to have some meetings.
00:22:43.000 At the end of the meeting, do we say, hey, like in business, you say, look, we all, we all said what we thought, and this is how we all, let's all come together, do X. You think that's ever happened in five years?
00:22:53.000 No.
00:22:54.000 McConnell will sit there, you know, sit there, you know, we'd not say a word.
00:22:58.000 We'd all say our piece, and then you just walk out of the room and then just go down the path at once, just like this last supplemental.
00:23:03.000 Had nothing to do with what we wanted.
00:23:05.000 I mean, it's just so insulting to the country.
00:23:08.000 It's just, Senator, we have really big problems.
00:23:11.000 The people are sending you there on a mandate.
00:23:14.000 You're painting a very dysfunctional, dare I say, corrupt oligarchy that exists in the Senate.
00:23:20.000 This is not what the founders intended at all.
00:23:24.000 There's two dictatorships in the Senate.
00:23:26.000 There's the, on the Republican side, there's the Mitch McConnell, and on the Democrat side, there's a Chuck Schumer.
00:23:32.000 All right.
00:23:32.000 And so they basically, because they control those super PACs, they, you know, they say, hey, I elected you.
00:23:39.000 You're going to vote with me.
00:23:41.000 I won't help you next time.
00:23:43.000 So they come into their meetings and they say, hey, I just want to let you know, I got money from these rich people, and I'm the one your race.
00:23:50.000 You didn't win your race.
00:23:51.000 I won your race, and you're going to vote the way I tell you to vote.
00:23:56.000 So, and they can be subtle about it.
00:23:58.000 Sometimes they'll say, well, like, oh, so I ran against Mitch McConnell, what, 15 months ago?
00:24:05.000 So guess what?
00:24:06.000 I'm running the biggest company, I think, of any senator in the history of the Senate.
00:24:09.000 What did they immediately do the next day?
00:24:10.000 Kick me off the Commerce Committee and Mike Lee because he nominated me.
00:24:15.000 Okay.
00:24:15.000 So we, so Mike and I probably did 80% of the amendments on the Republican side to any bill that came in front of Congress my first four years up there.
00:24:24.000 And we got kicked off because it was a revengeful place.
00:24:28.000 So that's not going to happen because what I'm going to do is I'm going to say, look, if you, whatever state you represent, how can I help your state succeed?
00:24:38.000 Because if every one of our states succeed, we succeed.
00:24:41.000 And I don't hear people say, hey, I want more debt.
00:24:45.000 They don't want to say, oh, I've not heard anybody in my state or any state say, hey, had open borders for me.
00:24:51.000 Oh, I want to be in another forever war.
00:24:54.000 Or I want to give a whole bunch of money to another country with no accountability.
00:24:59.000 I mean, this is, we've got to stop this craziness.
00:25:02.000 It is the stuff that I was able to do in Florida by holding the government accountable, balancing the budget, focusing on getting somebody a job, getting their kid a good education, keeping them safe.
00:25:14.000 That's not what your Congress has done.
00:25:17.000 It's, oh, what did Mitch McConnell or Chuck Schumer want?
00:25:20.000 They give us a bill and they give us, like, remember the omnibus?
00:25:23.000 They gave us the bill the Tuesday morning, 1:30 in the morning before Christmas, and said, if you don't vote on it today, guess what?
00:25:29.000 The world's going to end because the government will get shut down.
00:25:31.000 So you've got to do it.
00:25:32.000 Don't worry, this has 7,500 earmarks, 7,000 pages, three times the size of the Bible.
00:25:38.000 We want you to vote on it today.
00:25:40.000 Unbelievable.
00:25:41.000 This will not happen.
00:25:43.000 Again, this has got to stop.
00:25:47.000 So, Senator, I want to ask, I want to just kind of talk about the spending debacle in front of us right now.
00:25:54.000 It's too bad that McConnell won't step down ahead of November.
00:25:59.000 Are you involved?
00:26:00.000 I guess the answer is no.
00:26:01.000 Are you or your colleagues involved at all in these negotiations with Speaker Johnson?
00:26:06.000 So here's what we've done.
00:26:08.000 So about a year and a couple of months ago, when Kevin McCarthy got elected, what I did was I started having a weekly meeting, and it was Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Braun, and we invited the fiscal responsible people in the House.
00:26:28.000 And sometimes Mike Johnson would come.
00:26:32.000 And so what we've been doing is meeting every Wednesday night and saying, look, we've got to be one for something.
00:26:38.000 And two, we've got to go sell.
00:26:41.000 We've got to be, it's got to be something that we can explain to the American public.
00:26:44.000 And that's what we've worked on.
00:26:45.000 If you remember, it took us about two months, but we did the first debt deal, and that's what the House passed, right?
00:26:53.000 And then, you know, Kevin McCarthy made the decision to go a different path after that.
00:26:57.000 But that's what we've been trying to do.
00:27:01.000 So, but with now, and you look, Mike Johnson's got a very tough job.
00:27:05.000 He's got a two-point, two-vote majority.
00:27:08.000 He's got a very tough job.
00:27:10.000 But our job in the Senate is to help the guys in the House.
00:27:15.000 And because they have the majority, our job is help them the House.
00:27:19.000 And they can't pass things in the Senate, Charlie, without at least nine Republicans.
00:27:25.000 So we need to say, we're not doing this.
00:27:28.000 We're not going to go, we're not going to give Biden $10 billion to potentially give it to Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.
00:27:35.000 We're not doing it.
00:27:37.000 If that means Chuck Schumer, you don't want to pass something, don't pass it.
00:27:41.000 Break my heart.
00:27:42.000 But we're not doing that anymore.
00:27:44.000 This is going to stop today.
00:27:46.000 All we have to do is guess what?
00:27:49.000 We don't get to decide what in the Senate right now because Chuck Schumer controls it.
00:27:53.000 What we vote on, but guess what?
00:27:55.000 We can decide what will pass.
00:27:57.000 It cannot pass without Republican votes.
00:28:00.000 That's why the first thing we got to do is like if we decide, if when we finish this conversation about, oh, what are we going to stand for?
00:28:09.000 If they say, well, we think it's great how Mitch has been doing it, give up.
00:28:14.000 Yes.
00:28:15.000 Because nothing's going to change.
00:28:15.000 Right?
00:28:17.000 Senator, if it's not saying, hey, we're going to do it.
00:28:20.000 We're going to fix it.
00:28:21.000 I could not agree more.
00:28:22.000 We're behind you, Senator.
00:28:23.000 I know you have an announcement next week.
00:28:25.000 You're thinking about things.
00:28:26.000 I don't want you put on the spot, but what an upgrade you would be, Senator Rick Scott.
00:28:32.000 Senator, thank you so much.
00:28:34.000 Thanks, Charlie.
00:28:35.000 Bye-bye.
00:28:38.000 You know, it feels as if the election is next week.
00:28:42.000 We are still months and months and months away.
00:28:46.000 Democrats have stuff planned for us, everybody.
00:28:49.000 Do not rest on your laurels.
00:28:53.000 They're going to use every single power source at their disposal.
00:28:57.000 Get ready for mass censorship on social media.
00:28:59.000 Get ready for propaganda continuing.
00:29:03.000 Get ready for a big scare, maybe another lockdown, mask mandates.
00:29:08.000 You know what's really amazing to think about?
00:29:11.000 15 days to slow the spread was four years ago.
00:29:16.000 That was four years ago.
00:29:20.000 15 days to slow the spread.
00:29:23.000 We're kind of like a damaged and bruised animal.
00:29:26.000 We're like so used to being attacked.
00:29:28.000 We're just waiting for the next thing.
00:29:31.000 And honestly, that's the only posture that we can have.
00:29:37.000 Electrical grid breakdown.
00:29:39.000 And oh, yes, by the way, the federal government swooping in to pay college students to do voter registration.
00:29:49.000 Number one, they're not lying down or giving up.
00:29:52.000 They're going all in.
00:29:54.000 Now, they say it's nonpartisan voter registration, and technically, I'm sure that's true, but 60 to 70% of these voters vote Democrat.
00:30:01.000 Now, we're trying to change that at turning point action.
00:30:03.000 We're doing our best.
00:30:04.000 RFK is going to win a significant portion of this, but it's also they're very good at using government resources to fund their agenda.
00:30:11.000 We got to get to work.
00:30:12.000 This is why turning point action matters so much.
00:30:14.000 Precinct committee positions, ballot chasing, voter registration, everything that we're trying to do at turning point action, the federal government is paying for.
00:30:23.000 So it's literally turning point action versus U.S. taxpayers in some way.
00:30:28.000 Play cut 97.
00:30:30.000 We have been doing work to promote voter participation for students.
00:30:36.000 And for example, we have, under the federal work study program, now allows students to get paid through federal work study to register people and to be nonpartisan poll workers.
00:30:52.000 I think the clip goes beyond that.
00:30:54.000 However, there's no way to defund this.
00:30:58.000 Of course, they're going to now be registered in multiple states.
00:31:01.000 No one will clean those voter rolls.
00:31:02.000 This will then result in more mail-in ballots being distributed to college campuses.
00:31:08.000 This is not the role of the federal government.
00:31:09.000 The federal government should obviously not be doing this.
00:31:11.000 Could you imagine what the inverse should be is that at every gun shop and every church, will the federal government, someone should sue.
00:31:20.000 You know, maybe Stephen Miller should sue.
00:31:22.000 Will the federal government pay churches to register their congregants to vote?
00:31:27.000 It's fair to ask.
00:31:29.000 Will the federal government pay churches to go through the pews and register them to vote?
00:31:37.000 They're going after, obviously, demographics that are largely in their favor.
00:31:42.000 And the federal government is now, and we know this, the federal government has changed its role to become a get-out-the-vote operation that favors Democrats.
00:31:51.000 And they do it all under the nonpartisan kind of veneer.
00:31:58.000 And we know exactly what's going to occur here.
00:32:01.000 That once you expand the voter rolls, it opens the chance for fraud.
00:32:05.000 It opens the chance and the opportunity for mass mail-in ballot nonsense.
00:32:11.000 Now, one of the glitches in the matrix is that RFK is winning the youth vote in some of these states.
00:32:16.000 Donald Trump is doing much better with younger voters.
00:32:20.000 But they're going to try to make it a one-issue thing: vote on abortion, vote on Roe, vote on women's rights.
00:32:26.000 It's tough to overcome that.
00:32:28.000 They know exactly what they're doing.
00:32:30.000 So we're going to have to continue to expand our voter registration effort, our ballot chasing effort, and we're literally fighting federal government money.
00:32:40.000 They know exactly what they're doing here.
00:32:42.000 Four years ago, it was 15 days to slow or stop the spread.
00:32:48.000 The cultural revolution has not slowed down in four years.
00:32:53.000 Joe Biden is sitting on record amounts of campaign cash.
00:32:56.000 Let me say that again.
00:32:58.000 Joe Biden is sitting on record amounts of campaign cash.
00:33:02.000 Donald Trump is continuing to navigate the law-fair primary.
00:33:08.000 We are just getting started, everybody.
00:33:10.000 We are a long way out from election day, and they have just begun to heat up their machine.
00:33:15.000 We better get into gear.
00:33:16.000 We have to register more voters, chase more ballots.
00:33:19.000 Currently, we are behind.
00:33:20.000 And if we don't fix it, we're going to have a disappointing outcome in November.
00:33:25.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
