00:00:34.000 Jack Kibbs is here, everybody.
00:00:35.000 Buckle up.
00:00:36.000 Here we go.
00:00:37.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:39.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:41.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:45.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:48.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:49.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:50.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:57.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:58.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:07.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:10.000 Pastor Jack Kibbs.
00:01:12.000 Jack, you saw the conversations.
00:01:13.000 What do you think?
00:01:14.000 Absolutely awesome.
00:01:15.000 Absolutely awesome.
00:01:16.000 From MacArthur and where he came from regarding the biblical perspective.
00:01:20.000 I mean, just speaking truth in love.
00:01:22.000 And then, of course, our college students.
00:01:28.000 The perspective from the feminist side, I've got to tell you, backstage, I said there's an ally there because of truth.
00:01:35.000 She gets it.
00:01:36.000 She sees it.
00:01:37.000 And so, of course, the kids, I'll call them kids.
00:01:40.000 I'm old enough to be their dad or whatever, but very, so very proud of them.
00:01:44.000 You mentioned about them being part of the future.
00:01:46.000 That's exactly what you and I are working for.
00:01:48.000 Amen.
00:01:49.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:01:49.000 And then the athletes were super moving.
00:01:51.000 Incredible and inspiring.
00:01:53.000 So sum all this up from a biblical perspective.
00:01:55.000 What's the importance for Christians to care about this on the school board level, the local level, the city council level?
00:01:59.000 Yep.
00:01:59.000 This is the number one thing that we must do.
00:02:02.000 And it's what we're seeing in pockets.
00:02:03.000 You know this, Charlie, that the Christian needs to be fortified and frankly galvanized regarding the attacks or the labeling.
00:02:13.000 Don't let the labeling get you down.
00:02:16.000 Speak the truth in love.
00:02:17.000 Be caring.
00:02:18.000 Be gentle.
00:02:19.000 Show them the grace of God, but by no means compromise truth.
00:02:22.000 Because there'll be this love, this winsomeness that we as believers cannot be denied, right?
00:02:29.000 And the truth cannot be defeated.
00:02:32.000 When we speak the truth coming from a place of love, Charlie, then the arguments that we heard today, the experiences that we heard today, these are things that the world, the unbelieving world, needs to see.
00:02:43.000 That Christians are not knuckle-dragging crazies, that they are, in fact, people who know truth.
00:02:49.000 And they may not like what we're saying, but as time goes on, here's the great thing: lies always run out of gas, and truth never stops.
00:02:58.000 And the truth will set people free.
00:03:00.000 Absolutely.
00:03:00.000 We have a generation and a nation that is believing lies that is just being totally forced at them.
00:03:05.000 Talk about the spiritual component of this, Jack.
00:03:08.000 I find it so interesting, kind of just how this coalition of different people are coming together.
00:03:13.000 You know, athletes, radical feminists, pastors, all around trying for material reality that we believe is a natural law designed by the Lord.
00:03:22.000 That's right.
00:03:23.000 And so, but talk about how Satan, the enemy, is trying to disrupt this.
00:03:27.000 He's trying to be the author of confusion.
00:03:30.000 That's what he is, especially with this issue.
00:03:31.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:03:32.000 So let's approach it this way, Charlie.
00:03:34.000 Let's talk about reverse engineering.
00:03:36.000 If you look today, if the most hardened skeptic of all that we're talking about is listening or watching right now, reverse thinking would be this way.
00:03:46.000 The issues and the topics that we're dealing with right now, what is trending, what is being debated, what is being argued, what preempts this very dialogue today is the Bible.
00:03:57.000 The Bible told us in advance that these would be the topics of the day as we approach the coming of Christ.
00:04:04.000 That has got to be a great, great comfort for the believer.
00:04:07.000 And it should be, this is my passion and yours.
00:04:09.000 It should be a wake-up call to those who are saying, you guys are all crazy.
00:04:13.000 Well, you know what?
00:04:14.000 Maybe we're all a little bit goofy, but how about this?
00:04:17.000 The points and topics that we're discussing, the Bible said these would be the points that we would be discussing in the last days.
00:04:23.000 Give us some examples of that.
00:04:25.000 Romans chapter one.
00:04:26.000 I think Pastor MacArthur touched on it.
00:04:28.000 Where we would be in an age where aberrant sexuality would be the norm.
00:04:35.000 That scripture says we'd approach a time before Christ returns that every man will do what's right in his own eyes.
00:04:42.000 For goodness sakes, we see that statewide throughout this nation of ours regarding the COVID application.
00:04:48.000 Whatever seems right to somebody is what they're going to do.
00:04:51.000 The scripture makes it very clear that there's a time, which I do believe now is upon us, where apathy is very, very prevalent upon the church.
00:05:00.000 We've got, sadly, frankly, too many woke pastors in America that are not speaking the truth.
00:05:06.000 And people will say, no, no, we're all about love.
00:05:08.000 We just preach the gospel.
00:05:10.000 Of course, and so do we.
00:05:12.000 The point is, though, the gospel's got feet.
00:05:15.000 We need to go rescue and love people.
00:05:17.000 Charlie, I want to say this, and it's going to sound radical, but it is true.
00:05:21.000 I've lived long enough and I've been in the pulpit for over 30 years.
00:05:25.000 And now I'm seeing young people who told me 15 years ago, Pastor Jack, I think I'm a lesbian or a homosexual or LBGTQ.
00:05:33.000 And now, Charlie, they're coming back to me in the same location in the foyer of the church.
00:05:39.000 And they're saying, Pastor Jack, I was talked into that in school.
00:05:43.000 And I went on that experiment, which was really destructive.
00:05:47.000 And it was really about pleasure, not love.
00:05:50.000 And it turns out that I'm not a lesbian or homosexual.
00:05:53.000 I want a family and I'm attracted to that opposite sex.
00:05:57.000 I'm watching this happen, Charlie.
00:05:59.000 Of course, that will never be reported, but I'm living it.
00:06:02.000 I get to see people now on this end waking up from this bad dream.
00:06:08.000 What's setting them free?
00:06:09.000 Truth.
00:06:10.000 Exactly what you've been bringing on this program.
00:06:12.000 It'll break the shackles free.
00:06:13.000 So parents are watching this across the country, and some are probably asking, okay, what now?
00:06:18.000 What?
00:06:19.000 So what is the biblical answer for a parent that has a child in school, maybe college, and they know that they are being preyed on by this ideology?
00:06:31.000 They maybe are tempted by this ideology or they're tolerant of this ideology.
00:06:36.000 Listen, real case scenario.
00:06:38.000 Last Sunday, just a few days ago, I had a parent, two parents come up to me with tears and say, we just sent our daughter two years ago to USC.
00:06:49.000 She just got a hold of us and said that she's moved in with a young girl and that she's a lesbian.
00:06:54.000 And they're weeping, they're crying.
00:06:56.000 We grew, we raised her up with truth.
00:06:58.000 She knows that this is not, watch this.
00:07:00.000 They're right.
00:07:02.000 She knows it's not biblical and she knows it's not scientific.
00:07:06.000 Think about that because science and Bible, they don't fight.
00:07:10.000 They coalesce.
00:07:10.000 Roman Right.
00:07:12.000 He's the same author.
00:07:12.000 Exactly.
00:07:13.000 I remember your sermon on that.
00:07:14.000 The conclusion was this.
00:07:14.000 That's right.
00:07:16.000 I said to them, She's not gay.
00:07:18.000 And they said, excuse me.
00:07:20.000 And I said, she's not gay.
00:07:22.000 I want you to know, mom and dad, I've watched this evolution.
00:07:26.000 Did she show any indications of this previously?
00:07:29.000 None whatsoever.
00:07:30.000 She's been talked into it.
00:07:31.000 Today, the college professors are saying things, and even in high school, priming children within their minds these words.
00:07:40.000 Did you ever have a thought about what this might be like?
00:07:42.000 Or if you did thus and so?
00:07:43.000 Did you ever think about that?
00:07:45.000 If you did, you must be gay.
00:07:46.000 No, listen, we are fallen creatures.
00:07:49.000 Pastor John pointed that out.
00:07:51.000 We need to be born again, Jesus said, and that we need to get the right mind.
00:07:56.000 We need to get the mind of Christ.
00:07:58.000 We are all susceptible to temptation.
00:08:00.000 The thing is, what do we do when we're tempted?
00:08:02.000 So tell your kids the truth.
00:08:05.000 As parents, this is painful.
00:08:06.000 You speak to them the truth, but then your child is going to reach that age of accountability.
00:08:11.000 They're going to go out and make their own decisions.
00:08:13.000 Here's the deal.
00:08:13.000 Mom and dad, don't budge from your loving, truth-based position.
00:08:19.000 Because when your kid comes back around, they're going to need that anchor that you have been all along.
00:08:25.000 Sweetheart, we disagree with your choices, but we're here for you because we love you.
00:08:30.000 We're not going to compromise, but we're here for you when you come around.
00:08:33.000 So still being present.
00:08:34.000 Be present, even if it's just in memory.
00:08:37.000 That's what often brings them around is, hey, I'm going to go back home.
00:08:41.000 You say, Jack, on what authority do you say that?
00:08:44.000 I'm just borrowing from Jesus' message about the prodigal son.
00:08:48.000 It's true.
00:08:49.000 It's happening.
00:08:50.000 Parents need to hear it.
00:08:51.000 And there may be some young people today listening right now.
00:08:54.000 They're saying, gosh, you know what?
00:08:55.000 That dude is, he's actually talking to me.
00:08:58.000 I'm getting kind of burned out on this experiment.
00:09:00.000 And I think my parents are right because the Bible's right.
00:09:03.000 And God loves me and I need to get home.
00:09:05.000 So talk a little bit about what you just said, that science and the Bible are directly together.
00:09:09.000 Romans 1.
00:09:11.000 Romans 1 or Romans 2?
00:09:12.000 It is Romans 1, but it's not only Romans 1.
00:09:14.000 And you had this beautiful quote where you said, after much struggle, the scientists will get to the top of the mountain and they'll see the theologians that have been there the entire time.
00:09:23.000 That is the retired director of the Goddard Space Center at NASA, Stephen Gould, who said, I think that after man's attempt to scale the mountains of intellect, when we pull ourselves up over the top, what I do believe now, what we're going to find is a band of theologians who have been sitting there all along.
00:09:47.000 Why did he say that?
00:09:48.000 Because when you study true science and the true definition of science, remember, science is not wishful thinking.
00:09:55.000 Mercedes-Benz makes the great card that they do based on science.
00:09:59.000 John MacArthur talked about the natural laws.
00:10:01.000 If you jump off of a roof, you're going to go down, not up.
00:10:04.000 These are absolutes that God has given us, and these things are true.
00:10:08.000 And true science is something that is repeatable, dependable, and you can monitor it and you can get to know it.
00:10:17.000 The God of the Bible claims that he's the author of all creation, that there's nothing that exists, visible or invisible, by which he has created it.
00:10:28.000 He's the one.
00:10:29.000 So science should jive perfectly with the Bible, and it does because it's the same author.
00:10:35.000 It's the same writer.
00:10:36.000 It's the laws of nature and nature is God.
00:10:38.000 Thomas Jefferson has something to say about that.
00:10:40.000 In the Declaration.
00:10:42.000 And so a lot of Christians, pastors, know this is wrong and they don't feel comfortable talking to their congregation about this issue.
00:10:50.000 So there's probably a lot of pastors watching this right now.
00:10:53.000 Do you think that a pastor should comment on these issues to their congregation?
00:10:58.000 Not only should they comment, I believe that they're commanded to.
00:11:01.000 And going back to what you said a second ago, that they don't feel comfortable speaking to their congregation about it, their comfort is irrelevant.
00:11:08.000 We are called to be pastors, watchmen on the wall.
00:11:12.000 We are to inform our congregation even to the point of death.
00:11:16.000 We're the ones that are supposed to be like Jesus, if necessary, laying down our lives for the flock.
00:11:23.000 We're supposed to speak truth.
00:11:24.000 Again, Pastor MacArthur referred to it, that the church, the Bible says, Paul wrote to Timothy, the church is the ground and pillar of all truth.
00:11:33.000 And just like colonial America, why are all those roads back in the East Coast crazy?
00:11:38.000 Not like California.
00:11:39.000 Everything is 90 degree angles out here.
00:11:42.000 Well, back there in the old land, right, in the colonials, is all these crazy roads that went to the center of a town.
00:11:49.000 What was at the hub of the center?
00:11:49.000 Why?
00:11:51.000 A church.
00:11:52.000 Why?
00:11:52.000 Because the church had the place of influence, of impact, cultural awareness, intellect, everything.
00:11:59.000 People forget that Harvard University, Charlie, was founded by John Harvard.
00:12:04.000 It was a seminary to raise up ministers.
00:12:06.000 Who knows that?
00:12:07.000 We've gotten away from our truth.
00:12:09.000 We've got to get back to those ancient markers.
00:12:12.000 Amen.
00:12:12.000 And so many of these pastors, when they say that, whoever said you have to be comfortable?
00:12:18.000 We're not paid to be comfortable.
00:12:19.000 We're not called to be comfortable.
00:12:20.000 But, Jack, at times, you know, early on as being a pastor, I'm sure there were those moments where you were called by God to give a message to the audience and you saw something that every one of these pastors feared.
00:12:32.000 You saw someone get up and leave.
00:12:34.000 Oh, it happened last Sunday.
00:12:36.000 Talk about that.
00:12:38.000 Jay Vernon McGee, a revered pastor here, long gone now in heaven, Southern California pastor.
00:12:45.000 Jay Vernon McGee says that when you're preaching a message, if you're not sure if you're getting through, just know this, that if you were to throw, if you were to throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the one that yelps is the one that got hit.
00:13:00.000 Even if someone gets up and leaves, this I know, I'm to deliver the truth of God in love, and I'm to be transparent, and I'm to be authentic.
00:13:10.000 God will use that.
00:13:11.000 And when I speak truth, they may not like it, but this I know, if it's biblical truth, not my opinion, they may get up and leave.
00:13:19.000 And I've had people get up and give me some one-way gestures that were not, you know, praise the Lord gestures.
00:13:26.000 It doesn't rock my world because of this.
00:13:28.000 If I stick to the truth, that truth is going to follow them home, Charlie.
00:13:33.000 They may not like me, but I love them.
00:13:35.000 And they got to lay down at night.
00:13:36.000 And the Holy Spirit's going to be speaking to them about the truth that they heard in church that day.
00:13:41.000 I had full confidence in that.
00:13:43.000 And it's a wrong measurement.
00:13:44.000 You know, if people are getting up and leaving, maybe they just can't handle it, right?
00:13:49.000 For that day at that time.
00:13:50.000 Look, pastors today, I fear, might look at their Facebook and their Instagram numbers more than they look to chapter and verses.
00:14:00.000 When they start to look at their success based upon clicks or views, that's a dangerous place.
00:14:08.000 Remember, everybody that says they're our Facebook friends, they're definitely not our friends.
00:14:13.000 And so talk a little bit about God's plan, where you think things are coming into place.
00:14:19.000 I know this can be a controversial topic for some people, but you wade right into it.
00:14:23.000 Talk about all this different, the topic that we talk about here and where you think that we are positioned right now and what we're called to do about it.
00:14:31.000 So there's difference interpretation.
00:14:33.000 People might say, you know, Jack, I agree.
00:14:34.000 Eschatologically, you're spot on.
00:14:36.000 But I'm in, I'm going to leave.
00:14:38.000 I'm not going to contest.
00:14:39.000 I'm going to go to the hills and just kind of wait this one out.
00:14:43.000 But you have a different opinion.
00:14:45.000 I have a different opinion because when I read Genesis all the way through to Revelation, I read books in the Bible such as 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Samuel.
00:14:57.000 When I read about Proverbs, you're reading about the wisdom of Solomon.
00:15:01.000 He was a king.
00:15:02.000 David was a king.
00:15:03.000 Isaiah worked in the government's office as an advisor to King Uzziah.
00:15:09.000 Paul petitioned and used his Roman citizenship to get to Rome to give testimony of Christ.
00:15:16.000 What am I saying?
00:15:18.000 Jesus said it perfectly.
00:15:20.000 Jesus said when they were trying to test him about taxes and loyalty to God, he called for a coin.
00:15:27.000 And he said, whose coin is, whose inscriptions on this coin?
00:15:31.000 They said, Caesar's.
00:15:33.000 And Jesus said something that none of us in the West understand.
00:15:36.000 Every Middle Eastern gets it.
00:15:38.000 We in the West never got it.
00:15:41.000 And it's this.
00:15:42.000 Jesus said, well, then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's.
00:15:47.000 What does that mean?
00:15:48.000 In the Middle Eastern world, God is overall the owner of everything.
00:15:53.000 The world, the air, everything is God's.
00:15:55.000 When he said, give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, but to God's the things that are God's, Jesus said this.
00:16:01.000 Caesar, here, give Caesar his coin.
00:16:04.000 Caesar belongs to God.
00:16:05.000 The coin belongs to God.
00:16:07.000 Rome belongs to God.
00:16:08.000 Caesar and his salad belongs to God.
00:16:12.000 And the Middle East understands that.
00:16:14.000 We see that as a separation of church and state type of, well, we should never get over involved.
00:16:19.000 No, our approach is this.
00:16:21.000 There is nothing secular in our world.
00:16:24.000 Our church, nothing secular.
00:16:25.000 Our community and the state of California, nothing secular.
00:16:30.000 God owns it all.
00:16:31.000 And California, I know it's going to sound crazy, Charlie, but California, you watch.
00:16:35.000 California is going to turn around.
00:16:38.000 There's going to be a spiritual awakening in California.
00:16:40.000 People are going to seek God again.
00:16:42.000 They're going to go to Bible teaching churches and I pray Bible teaching churches only.
00:16:46.000 But you are going to see the politics of California, I think, experience what God, God created government, man invented politics.
00:16:56.000 I think God is going to resurrect government in California because it's going to start with a revival among God's people in the church.
00:17:04.000 Amen.
00:17:05.000 So in closing here, Jack, you know, a lot of everyday people are saying, what can I do?
00:17:11.000 Right.
00:17:11.000 So there's the church and then there's the everyday person.
00:17:14.000 Talk a little bit about that.
00:17:15.000 Yeah.
00:17:15.000 Number one, if you're in California, all you have to do is go to realimpact.us.
00:17:21.000 We prepare the state of California no matter where you're at to get involved.
00:17:24.000 So how do I get involved?
00:17:25.000 Well, number one, and you see it, Charlie, all the time.
00:17:28.000 PTA, school board, just show up for one thing.
00:17:31.000 You don't even have to say anything.
00:17:33.000 Just show up.
00:17:34.000 You can hold a sign.
00:17:35.000 No sex ed in our school district.
00:17:39.000 Just show up.
00:17:40.000 Maybe find out if you have a cultural impact group in your area.
00:17:44.000 And we can even help you with that.
00:17:46.000 Wind up running for local office.
00:17:48.000 If you want to make a difference, step out and see if God's in it.
00:17:53.000 Just show up and see if God shows you that he wants you in a particular place.
00:17:58.000 But by all means, vote.
00:18:00.000 We, as a people, can I say this lovingly?
00:18:03.000 Somehow along the lines, we as Christians have carved out a virtue that I don't know exists.
00:18:10.000 And it's not one of the fruits of the spirit.
00:18:12.000 And that is, well, we'll just be polite to everything.
00:18:15.000 If they want to build a strip club next to our church, we'll just be polite.
00:18:20.000 Listen, not polite.
00:18:22.000 Speak the truth in love and get your elected officials to know you not only love them and you're praying for them, but you're also holding them accountable.
00:18:32.000 As we just did in California this week on AB 1400, where Sacramento had a change of heart because Christians in California overwhelmed Sacramento because they stood for righteousness.
00:18:43.000 Charlie, righteousness is doing the right thing, not talking about it.
00:18:47.000 Amen.
00:18:48.000 And Jack, you and I are having a conversation on March the 2nd, I believe about the Great Reset.
00:18:53.000 We're going to go through all 10 points of the Great Reset.
00:18:55.000 We're going to talk about the World Economic Forum.
00:18:57.000 We're going to talk about their strategy.
00:18:59.000 We're going to talk about their roster, their game plan.
00:19:01.000 I've come to Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, I think, three times for these events.
00:19:05.000 And this one will be the most focused on a topic.
00:19:08.000 Is that fair?
00:19:09.000 This will be the most focused on a topic.
00:19:11.000 And we're going to be looking at what I coined, Charlie, is, yes, the Great Reset.
00:19:16.000 This is brilliant.
00:19:17.000 But I believe God has shown us that what we are experiencing with COVID these last two years and things leading up to that, voter fraud, for example, the global situation, there's got to be the great setup before there's the great reset.
00:19:31.000 And I think we're all in the middle of the setup.
00:19:35.000 We're going to be exposing from a biblical worldview perspective.
00:19:41.000 So it's going to be amazing.
00:19:43.000 And no doubt we'll have just tens of thousands of people.
00:19:45.000 It's going to be incredible.
00:19:46.000 There's 10 promises of the great reset promise I put in quotes of the globalists.
00:19:51.000 You know, no borders, no private property, you won't eat meat anymore.
00:19:55.000 And then we're going to, you will mostly lead the train on this.
00:19:58.000 What does the Bible say about these things?
00:20:00.000 Exactly.
00:20:00.000 And why do they want these things?
00:20:02.000 Who are the people behind it?
00:20:03.000 That's where I'll be able to contribute the most, right?
00:20:06.000 Klaus Schwab to the World Economic Forum, young leaders of Justin Trudeau, who graduated from it, and Emmanuel Macron.
00:20:12.000 And people will start to see that there is a plan that has been implementing a lot of these things that I think is just so important.
00:20:19.000 And if you live in Southern California, John MacArthur's church is awesome.
00:20:22.000 Rob McCoy's church is awesome.
00:20:23.000 But also Jack Kibbs, Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, is just terrific.
00:20:27.000 And I think he has the earliest church service in the Western Hemisphere.
00:20:30.000 7 a.m. It was 7.15.
00:20:32.000 We changed it to 8 o'clock.
00:20:33.000 Okay.
00:20:34.000 I know.
00:20:35.000 I know.
00:20:36.000 I'm getting old.
00:20:37.000 Jack, you're a great friend and a brother in Christ.
00:20:39.000 Thank you for taking the stands you take.
00:20:40.000 God bless you.
00:20:41.000 God bless you, brother.
00:20:42.000 Thanks.
