00:01:45.000 Joining us now is Kane from citizenfreepress.com.
00:01:49.000 Mr. Kane, this is far from over, but we've had an eventful 24 hours.
00:01:52.000 Thank you for the support from CFP Nation.
00:01:55.000 We might just get this fixed in Nebraska.
00:01:57.000 Kane, your thoughts?
00:01:58.000 Unbelievable.
00:01:59.000 And yeah, 4 a.m. for me, buddy.
00:02:04.000 It was, I think, 2:30 Eastern, and I had to call it.
00:02:09.000 I had to cut it out.
00:02:10.000 But Kane, this is, you said this yesterday in your post.
00:02:13.000 This has bothered you for a while.
00:02:15.000 This idea of like the Nebraska college quirk.
00:02:19.000 And it seems like we might get this fixed, which would be a major blow to Joe Biden.
00:02:24.000 Yeah, it's huge.
00:02:25.000 It's, you know, my one-word answer there, unbelievable.
00:02:28.000 It truly is remarkable what's happened in the last 24 hours.
00:02:31.000 And really, it was just a six-hour period yesterday.
00:02:34.000 This would be a huge blow.
00:02:37.000 As you said, look, political playbook led with it this morning.
00:02:42.000 That was their lead story.
00:02:43.000 Semaphore, Dave Weigel, last night, a big report about how Democrats were caught completely off guard.
00:02:50.000 And in that story from Weigel, you get a lot of positive sort of mention.
00:02:54.000 And he talks about how this had been sitting there, sort of dormant, no one paying attention.
00:02:59.000 And in six hours, the power, you know, this is the power of citizen media and the power of your show and your Twitter reach and Citizen Free Press, our Twitter reach.
00:03:09.000 And it's, you know, I was hit with endorphins.
00:03:12.000 It felt like we won the state championship last night in hoops, you know, you and I playing on the same high school team.
00:03:19.000 Like this felt like we outsmarted them.
00:03:22.000 We thought ahead.
00:03:23.000 We used skills that we have that they weren't anticipating.
00:03:27.000 We got this out there.
00:03:29.000 It was picked up quickly.
00:03:30.000 I mean, it was all you.
00:03:32.000 It's amazing.
00:03:33.000 You know, us, the rest of us came along for the ride.
00:03:35.000 I'm happy to throw up five red headlines, though, anytime for a cause like this, because as you said, it's bothered me for a while.
00:03:43.000 I had to look up the history this morning.
00:03:45.000 This has been in effect since 1991.
00:03:49.000 So this is two and a half decades where Nebraska has split their electoral votes.
00:03:55.000 And the idea that it could get handled in six hours to the point where the governor of Nebraska is completely on board.
00:04:03.000 It's, you know, I don't want to pat ourselves on the back too much, but it's not a great work.
00:04:08.000 It's right there in the red zone, right?
00:04:10.000 So, you know, we just had a 55-yard completion.
00:04:14.000 We're on the five-yard line.
00:04:15.000 We got three downs, right?
00:04:18.000 Well, I think it's four-down territory here, Kane.
00:04:21.000 I think we're going for if we're on the one-yard.
00:04:24.000 What are the next steps?
00:04:24.000 Yeah, that's a great question.
00:04:26.000 So there's a fair amount of back and forth right now on procedural stuff.
00:04:31.000 But let me tell you some breaking news that's excellent.
00:04:34.000 The fear was that Democrats could filibuster this.
00:04:37.000 Well, breaking this morning, a Democrat officially has changed his party affiliation in the Nebraska Unicameral legislature, and he's changed it from Democrat to Republicans.
00:04:48.000 Republicans have expanded their majority now, which basically makes it a filibuster-proof majority.
00:04:55.000 We need to get this out of committee.
00:04:56.000 We need to get this through the floor votes.
00:04:59.000 Now, the excuses, Kane, that they're making is this.
00:05:02.000 I'm going to read you one of the emails that one of our listeners received.
00:05:06.000 And I don't want to demoralize people because we hear excuses all this time, and we just have to plow through them.
00:05:11.000 LB764 is currently in the Government and Military Affairs Committee and has not been voted out.
00:05:16.000 Furthermore, it does not have priority motion and would be unlikely to be scheduled for debate in the next six days of debate.
00:05:22.000 Although I'm sympathetic to the cause, it's unlikely that LB64 would be considered during this legislative session on the basis of procedural grounds.
00:05:28.000 That's a bunch of rubbish.
00:05:29.000 We've been told by the state party chair that we just need to make this the will to make this happen.
00:05:34.000 Kane, what is your reaction?
00:05:35.000 Again, I want to keep on making this a positive thing.
00:05:38.000 I just don't think we should take no for an answer here.
00:05:40.000 That just sounds like an excuse, unless it's forbidden from the Nebraska Constitution.
00:05:46.000 Let's plow this forward.
00:05:48.000 Absolutely.
00:05:48.000 We do it with, so it sounds like we need to keep the pressure on every day, the rest of this week.
00:05:54.000 CFP has had the phone numbers up for people to contact since yesterday, since about 24 hours ago.
00:06:01.000 I'll keep hammering that.
00:06:02.000 I sort of, that's a fantastic news about getting 33 and a filibuster approved majority, but it's still, you know, I don't know if we know who that email is from.
00:06:13.000 I know I was talking with Andrew, your producer, before I came on air.
00:06:16.000 We don't know, you know, but no, I never take no for an answer.
00:06:20.000 I've never taken it in my life.
00:06:21.000 It's not even when some, look, we can win this with public pressure.
00:06:26.000 This isn't the time.
00:06:26.000 It's not a structural impediment.
00:06:28.000 He talked about it being further back in the line wasn't part of the priorities.
00:06:32.000 Well, we can change their priorities pretty quickly.
00:06:35.000 What we've been able to do in the last 24 hours shows it.
00:06:38.000 So I would say we just have to keep hammering it.
00:06:41.000 You keep tweeting every time you get new information on this, and I'll throw it up at the top of the stack and we'll keep after it.
00:06:48.000 And I've got a new phone number that I got from Andrew.
00:06:51.000 So I'll be putting that up when I get off this appearance.
00:06:55.000 So, you know, I'm ready to work basically 24 hours a day until this thing gets fixed because it's that important.
00:07:04.000 You know, in case people don't completely understand why, Trump can flip Arizona, he can flip Nevada, and he can flip Georgia, and he can still lose by two electoral votes because of this quirk in Nebraska.
00:07:16.000 Nebraska is a red state.
00:07:18.000 As you said, no other Democrat red states would even consider doing this.
00:07:22.000 Can you imagine this in California?
00:07:24.000 Can you imagine it in New York?
00:07:26.000 No chance.
00:07:28.000 It should have been handled a long time.
00:07:30.000 Let's just play this out for everybody, okay?
00:07:32.000 Let's pretend that the state of New Jersey had a goofy system like this.
00:07:37.000 And Donald Trump had a path to electoral victory with one electoral vote in New Jersey that happens to tilt his way.
00:07:47.000 Do you think for a second that the New Jersey legislature would sit on their hands or fill in the Washington, Oregon, Hawaii?
00:07:54.000 I mean, just you pick it, right, Kane?
00:07:56.000 That they would sit around and be like, no, no, no.
00:07:59.000 And so, but here's, here's the thing is that I understand there's going to be a lot of excuses.
00:08:04.000 So here's another excuse.
00:08:05.000 They say, oh, there still might be filibuster and they might take up a lot of time.
00:08:09.000 And they say that it might go through the session.
00:08:12.000 This needs to be top priority, guys.
00:08:14.000 I mean, I'm not going to say that it's the most, I know that passing a budget and all that stuff in Nebraska is important.
00:08:20.000 So, but what is the excuse here?
00:08:23.000 Do we want to win?
00:08:24.000 Do we want political power?
00:08:25.000 Kane.
00:08:26.000 Yeah, and it's that vital.
00:08:28.000 People need to understand how important these electoral votes could end up being.
00:08:34.000 You know, imagine waking up on November 6th and we slipped Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, and we still didn't win because Nebraska didn't deem it a high enough priority.
00:08:43.000 It's a red state.
00:08:44.000 No blue state would tolerate it.
00:08:46.000 You mentioned New Jersey, Washington, Oregon.
00:08:48.000 There is absolutely no chance.
00:08:50.000 It would have been an effort led by the DNC.
00:08:53.000 And so that sort of brings up where the RNC has been for the last 25 years.
00:08:58.000 So no, you know, we do not let up the pressure.
00:09:01.000 We keep pounding this.
00:09:03.000 I know that TP action is considering doing something in Nebraska next week.
00:09:07.000 On Tuesday, I'm going to Nebraska and I hope to celebrate.
00:09:11.000 I hope we get it done.
00:09:12.000 But the Democrats are flying in from across the country.
00:09:15.000 I hate to interrupt, Kane, but there all of a sudden, all the Democrats have been awake in the last 24 hours.
00:09:19.000 We took them by surprise.
00:09:20.000 This was the ultimate sneak attack.
00:09:22.000 They had none of their forces out.
00:09:24.000 All their fortresses were down.
00:09:25.000 Their guards were down.
00:09:26.000 And we have awoken a sleeping giant.
00:09:28.000 It's a five-alarm fire.
00:09:29.000 They are parachuting people in like you wouldn't believe.
00:09:32.000 But we're going there to celebrate.
00:09:34.000 So, Kane, your thoughts.
00:09:36.000 Well, yeah, they absolutely are panicked.
00:09:38.000 You did catch them off guard.
00:09:39.000 Dave Weigel's piece in Semaphore, it's in the stack.
00:09:42.000 I recommend that people read it.
00:09:44.000 You'll see sort of what Charlie pulled off in the last 24 hours.
00:09:48.000 Absolutely.
00:09:49.000 If you're going to Nebraska next Tuesday, we'll be covering it live on Citizen Free Press.
00:09:54.000 I will not stop pounding this.
00:09:55.000 You know, I have no life, right?
00:09:57.000 This is sport to me.
00:10:00.000 Are you kidding me?
00:10:01.000 We get to relive the glory days.
00:10:04.000 That's right.
00:10:04.000 I mean, this feels like competition to me.
00:10:07.000 This is sports.
00:10:08.000 This is pounding my opponent and then shoving his face into the grass and letting him know that he underestimated me and he probably shouldn't make that mistake again.
00:10:16.000 So I won't stop for the next seven days.
00:10:19.000 CFP will be with the Charlie Kirk show and your movement and this effort to get Nebraska finally to change this law.
00:10:26.000 And look, it can't be that complicated.
00:10:29.000 It's not a controversial thing.
00:10:31.000 As long as we can get it out of committee, I feel like we can smoothly sail this to success.
00:10:39.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:11:42.000 Mr. Kane, citizenfreepress.com.
00:11:45.000 What happened in Wisconsin last night?
00:11:47.000 We had a great night.
00:11:48.000 What happened?
00:11:49.000 Yeah, it was flipping everywhere.
00:11:52.000 The leftist mayor of Wausau.
00:11:55.000 I had to look up Wausau.
00:11:56.000 You know, I vacationed there as a kid and I had to look it up.
00:11:59.000 39,000 adults of voting age.
00:12:02.000 Turnout was around 12,000, 13,000 votes, I think.
00:12:07.000 So it actually wasn't bad given the snowy conditions in Wisconsin yesterday.
00:12:13.000 So we had the lefty flip.
00:12:15.000 That was a huge surprise for her to lose.
00:12:16.000 Then Zuckerbucks, right?
00:12:18.000 The greatest branding that our side has ever come up with, Zuckerbucks, goes down.
00:12:23.000 Question one goes down 5644, which basically now bans all outside money, outside influence on state elections.
00:12:33.000 And then question two lost 59.41 last I checked.
00:12:37.000 And that is essentially something about election workers and not allowing unofficial election workers, essentially paid for by Zuckerbucks to be involved in the process.
00:12:48.000 So these are two huge wins.
00:12:49.000 They were big shockers.
00:12:51.000 I don't think Wisconsin was expecting it.
00:12:53.000 The Wausau, you know, that's what I always analyze when I read these stories is you can pick up the bias behind it.
00:12:59.000 And the Wausau Herald, they were not expecting their mayor to lose.
00:13:03.000 And based on several stories I have in the stack from national and regional publications, it sounds like no one in Wisconsin thought they were going to lose on these on these resolutions.
00:13:14.000 So I think, you know, I'll wrap it up, but I think Trump being in Wisconsin helped drive people to the polls.
00:13:20.000 He brought more attention to Zuckerbucks and the fact that our side was motivated to get out and vote for something other than just Trump, the obvious winner already of the primary.
00:13:34.000 So I think there's a small lesson there that we should learn about putting things on ballots in swing states that could help us with turnout in November.
00:13:44.000 And I'll add, lastly, very quickly, I looked up the numbers last night.
00:13:49.000 Minnesota and Virginia are in play.
00:13:51.000 They are both on the real clear politics numbers show those leads at 3% to 4% for Biden.
00:13:59.000 And those were not including Kennedy or any of the other extra candidates.
00:14:03.000 So you've had this Zuckerbucks thing, the possibility that some Republicans could be listening and decide to get these same amendments, referendums on their ballots in November.
00:14:14.000 And you might even get an additional draw because it's a winning issue.
00:14:17.000 It's a winning issue.
00:14:19.000 So the question is: Kane, we have the momentum on our side right now.
00:14:25.000 If we get this Nebraska thing sorted out, we got Zuckerbucks gone in Wisconsin.
00:14:31.000 We have Latinos and Hispanics that are defecting in huge numbers, young men that are coming our way, the Israel issue, which is turning Michigan into play.
00:14:38.000 But we have to have a commitment to win because here's the last thing.
00:14:41.000 Kane, you notice the Democrats are about to get nastier than we've ever seen them.
00:14:47.000 So you guys better buckle up.
00:14:48.000 They are going to get personal.
00:14:49.000 They are going to get to outrage because all of a sudden they realize that we're starting to turn the corner on the boring stuff, outlawing drop boxes, getting the Electoral College fixed, ballot custody stuff.
00:15:02.000 As soon as we start fighting in the quote-unquote boring stuff, chasing votes, chasing ballots, fixing the Electoral College in Nebraska, that's really when they're going to start to become unhinged.
00:15:11.000 Final thoughts, Kane.
00:15:13.000 Yeah, it's a good warning.
00:15:14.000 And you mentioned all the things, right?
00:15:16.000 Banning drop boxes, momentum from Wisconsin, momentum, what we're doing, trying to accomplish in Nebraska.
00:15:23.000 And then, you know, the multiple tickets.
00:15:25.000 I put up a tweet last night, or excuse me, multiple candidates on these ballots.
00:15:30.000 Scott Pressler is trying to get Cornell West on the North Carolina ballot.
00:15:35.000 Why is that important?
00:15:36.000 Huge black voting population in North Carolina.
00:15:39.000 He could probably take another one and a half to 2%.
00:15:42.000 So I think the Democrats are absolutely panicked.
00:15:44.000 They see all these things.
00:15:45.000 And I think of all the things that they're most frightened about, it's Kennedy, Jill Stein, and Cornell West.
00:15:52.000 And so we have to continue to sort of, you know, keep driving on all paths that we're currently on and continue to sort of get out the vote because in the end, you know, you and I both know this is a turnout election.
00:16:06.000 All of these polls are within the margin of error.
00:16:09.000 Essentially, we're up for it.
00:16:10.000 And the RFK factor, we cannot dismiss the RFK factor.
00:16:16.000 The RFK factor is massive.
00:16:18.000 And Kane, I hate to, you know, toot our own horn, but have we not been on the RFK thing for nine months and now people are just waking up to it?
00:16:25.000 Yeah, it's because we're fanatics.
00:16:26.000 Anytime a third candidate possibly mentions getting in the race, you and I, we're all over it.
00:16:31.000 So, yeah, I mean, it's the first thing I thought of nine months ago whenever Kennedy entered was who is he going to take more votes from?
00:16:38.000 So, yeah, we're following this.
00:16:39.000 We got to keep fighting it.
00:16:40.000 Democrats are going to get nastier.
00:16:43.000 They are going to get more panic.
00:16:44.000 But again, folks, this is margin of error stuff.
00:16:47.000 Turnout will determine it.
00:16:49.000 We can still lose unless we have everyone.
00:16:53.000 This is turbulence before the breakthrough.
00:16:55.000 Okay.
00:16:56.000 So buckle up.
00:16:56.000 It's about to get bumpy.
00:16:58.000 But there are sunny skies ahead if we get through it.
00:17:02.000 Kane, you're the man.
00:17:03.000 Check out citizenfreepress.com.

00:18:02.000 Joining us now is someone who I have admired for quite some time.
00:18:05.000 I find him to be hilarious as he is patriotic and a terrific lawmaker.
00:18:10.000 That is Congressman Burchette.
00:18:12.000 He does a great job.
00:18:14.000 Congressman, welcome to the program.
00:18:16.000 Thank you for taking time.
00:18:17.000 Lost the discuss.
00:18:18.000 You're from Tennessee's 2nd congressional district.
00:18:21.000 I guess my first question is, what is your reaction to the ever-vanishing House majority and these colleagues that just seem to be disappearing every couple of weeks?
00:18:31.000 For those of us that are working hard to try to maintain these majorities, it's maddening.
00:18:35.000 Yeah, I agree with you.
00:18:37.000 I used to have when I was in the state house in Tennessee, we had a Democrat speaker.
00:18:41.000 His name was Jimmy Knifey, and he'd say, Burch, if you didn't want to work, you shouldn't have hired on.
00:18:47.000 And that's what I sort of think.
00:18:49.000 These guys, you know, if they didn't want to work, they weren't in it for the fight.
00:18:53.000 They shouldn't have hired on.
00:18:54.000 Everybody's, you know, you're in the minority.
00:18:57.000 The Democrats, your buddies, they'll feed you a little bit, just enough to keep you on because they know they can't beat you.
00:19:04.000 And you live with that and you draw your fat paycheck and you go home and you rail on the Democrats at home and then you go back to D.C. and vote with them.
00:19:13.000 Or you're just completely fed up with it.
00:19:18.000 But then again, you still should wait to the end of your term.
00:19:22.000 I mean, you do take an oath.
00:19:24.000 So I sort of think that it's, you know, if you weren't in it for the fight, brother, you shouldn't have run.
00:19:31.000 And then when you're in the majority, you know, what do you do with it?
00:19:34.000 You just squander it.
00:19:36.000 You spend money like Democrats.
00:19:38.000 So what's the difference?
00:19:39.000 I hope we get some people in with some guts, really.
00:19:43.000 That would be my at least have some conservative principles and we'll stick with them and not get to, you know, not drink the Kool-Aid, so to speak, and just become part of the unit party, which is really what we've got that runs DC, as you know.
00:19:59.000 That's right.
00:20:00.000 And so, Congressman, I want to try to isolate one of the issues that I know you care about the most, which is spending.
00:20:06.000 We don't talk about it enough.
00:20:07.000 We are borrowing a trillion dollars every 100 days.
00:20:11.000 Explain to me why your colleagues are so indifferent to the generational theft that is occurring in real time in Washington, D.C. Because a lot of them, not all of them, but a lot of them are more concerned about staying in power than anything else.
00:20:29.000 Again, I go back to my days in the state legislature and we try to figure out being the closed door meeting and they'd try to some of these guys and just figure out something to get them through the next election.
00:20:38.000 And that's why we're $35 trillion in debt, as you stated.
00:20:43.000 We're 100 every 100 days, we add another trillion because they don't have the guts, man.
00:20:48.000 Again, they got into it for the easy ride.
00:20:51.000 And when it got a little rough, they start bailing.
00:20:54.000 And it's just, it disgusts me.
00:20:57.000 I say good reddits.
00:20:59.000 You know, I'm tired of it.
00:21:00.000 If they're going to leave in the middle of their term or what have you, I just, we're better off to know now.
00:21:06.000 But, you know, here we are, one person leave.
00:21:08.000 Bobert's got emergency surgery last night, I think, or the day before.
00:21:13.000 She's out.
00:21:14.000 So we're basically at a tied position.
00:21:17.000 And that's the way they left us.
00:21:20.000 And you got to figure some of these people are compromised.
00:21:22.000 I mean, they know they're getting squeezed.
00:21:25.000 They say, hey, this stuff's going to come out on you.
00:21:27.000 You need to bail.
00:21:29.000 Or you stay and do whatever we say to do.
00:21:33.000 So tell us more about that.
00:21:34.000 You famously spoke to Benny Johnson.
00:21:37.000 You said, Peep, someone will whisper in your ear and say that we got a picture of you with a naked girl.
00:21:43.000 Tell us more.
00:21:45.000 Have you heard of these conversations occurring?
00:21:47.000 And who's the ones that are doing the threatening?
00:21:50.000 Well, oddly enough, right after I had that conversation with Benny, there was a huge bust up in Washington, in the Washington area.
00:21:59.000 And it was Asian, I believe it was Chinese, oddly enough, the Chinese Communist Party, CCP, whatever, they're everywhere.
00:22:06.000 They know how many paperclips we use in the Longworth building.
00:22:09.000 I mean, they are everywhere.
00:22:10.000 And that was given to me by former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo.
00:22:14.000 That a little bit of information.
00:22:16.000 But right after I had that conversation with them, that ring was busted right there.
00:22:20.000 And they said, who are their clients?
00:22:23.000 They said, elected officials.
00:22:26.000 And then they went on to say government contractors and high-ranking government employees.
00:22:34.000 But you know, oddly enough, they never did release a name.
00:22:38.000 They never did release a name.
00:22:40.000 So that's hanging over the head of a lot of people, I would say.
00:22:44.000 And a lot of them aren't as slick as they think they are.
00:22:46.000 And these people own them.
00:22:47.000 And that's how they do it.
00:22:48.000 You know, it just, it's almost prophetic.
00:22:52.000 I said it.
00:22:52.000 And then a week later, that ring was busted.
00:22:55.000 And, you know, it doesn't have to be a sex trap or a honeypot.
00:22:59.000 You know, your sister, your wife, or your husband, or boyfriend, or girlfriend, or maybe a combination thereof, has a job with some big defense contractor or somebody else.
00:23:12.000 And or they work for some big law lobbying firm making a couple of hundred thousand dollars at a no-show job.
00:23:20.000 You know, that's the type of thing that goes on.
00:23:22.000 And I guess technically it's legal, but I question its ethics.
00:23:26.000 So, you know, and the same with stocks and everything else.
00:23:30.000 Right.
00:23:31.000 You know, we had a, if you remember, when we gave 114 billion dollars to Ukraine to spend as they will.
00:23:40.000 Um, there was also a missile defense system that the president I believe he might have done it by executive order, i'm not sure if it was tucked into a bill, but I remembered people in both parties own, guess what?
00:23:51.000 They had bought stock in that missile defense company, some of them within just a couple of weeks before the decision was made by the White House to do that.
00:23:59.000 And so what it did was it sent our missile defense system to Ukraine, but then it left us um, it left us in a dangerous, precarious situation.
00:24:08.000 So, guess what, we had a no-bid contract out to replenish our missile supply and, and lo and behold, Republicans and Democrats own stock in it, and there we are, 35 trillion dollars in debt.
00:24:20.000 I mean, you know it's it's, it's it's circuitous.
00:24:22.000 You can just follow the route around and around, and yet nobody.
00:24:26.000 These people still get re-elected.
00:24:27.000 They go home, they're Lincoln Day, you've been to them?
00:24:30.000 Reagan Day dinners.
00:24:31.000 They get up and throw out the red meat.
00:24:34.000 Man, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do that.
00:24:36.000 If it only wasn't for those Democrats, you know.
00:24:39.000 And then what do they do.
00:24:40.000 They go back to Dc and they're like, man let's let's let's don't, don't make me vote on this thing, guys.
00:24:45.000 I can't, we can't do that, you know, and it's just, it's bogus.
00:24:49.000 I wish people would get more informed.
00:24:51.000 But when 15 of the population of Knox County my own town vote in a major election, what do you expect you're going to get?
00:25:00.000 So the the blackmail operation, do you think so?
00:25:05.000 Are you trying to say that when there's consequential votes and or some of these resignations, there's powers to be that might be doing whispering in their ear?
00:25:15.000 And how do we, how do we fight back against that?
00:25:17.000 Elect people that are virtuous?
00:25:20.000 Yeah well, you gotta.
00:25:22.000 I mean, it's a blood oath, almost I don't know.
00:25:24.000 They trap good people too, and some people are just disgusted with it and they're not made to the fight.
00:25:29.000 And I get that, you know I, I get that.
00:25:32.000 That's how these guns behind me here were guns my dad took off of people that he actually killed in the Pacific and their Japanese rifles, you know.
00:25:41.000 And he would tell me stories about guys coming off the front lines that were just up, had shell shock, shouldn't have been there, and uh, they weren't in it.
00:25:50.000 They, they in the beginning.
00:25:52.000 They, they.
00:25:52.000 They signed up for noble reasons but were not capable of handling it, and to a smaller degree.
00:25:58.000 I think you've got people like that in Congress.
00:26:00.000 They get a phone call and um, and they fold man, they fold like a, like a house of cards, and it just happens every.
00:26:09.000 You see a major vote and you look up on the board and you see a couple of good people.
00:26:13.000 You wonder why they voted that way, why they voted for something, why they voted against something.
00:26:18.000 And i'm sure happens on both sides of the aisle.
00:26:20.000 It's the oldest trick in the book.
00:26:22.000 It's the Russians.
00:26:24.000 You know they haven't, they had a name for it.
00:26:26.000 The Chinese even have a have a code for it of how they um, they've infiltrated.
00:26:31.000 And you know the Chinese, though they're playing the long ball.
00:26:35.000 You know we're playing checkers and they're playing advanced form of chess.
00:26:39.000 They're hooking up with these guys and gals when they're in the student, excuse me, they're in their student government association Or something.
00:26:48.000 And they, and they've hundreds of these people are out there.
00:26:51.000 And occasionally they get a United States congressman that's sitting on the intelligence committee.
00:26:56.000 Like Swawo.
00:26:57.000 And then Speaker Pelosi refused to kick him off.
00:27:00.000 Well, but I mean, but here's what drives me nuts.
00:27:04.000 I don't know how you voted.
00:27:05.000 I can imagine how you did.
00:27:06.000 Why did we kick Santos out while all these other people remain?
00:27:12.000 I don't know how you voted, but I voted to keep Santos.
00:27:16.000 Yeah, okay.
00:27:17.000 I figured as such.
00:27:17.000 It's the stupidest thing.
00:27:18.000 And now we don't even have a majority.
00:27:20.000 Boebert is getting emergency surgery.
00:27:22.000 McCarthy resigned.
00:27:24.000 Ken Buck is a CNN contributor.
00:27:26.000 Gallagher is going to go work for Palantir.
00:27:29.000 What are we doing here?
00:27:30.000 We're gutless, man.
00:27:31.000 We got no long game.
00:27:32.000 I mean, Santos, I mean, he's, yeah, he's a friend of mine, actually.
00:27:38.000 We text every now and then, but, you know, he wasn't everything.
00:27:42.000 If he's guilty of everything, that's reality.
00:27:47.000 But he was never found guilty.
00:27:48.000 We never found him guilty.
00:27:51.000 He was never been before a court of law.
00:27:53.000 He was just accused of a lot of things.
00:27:56.000 And so we just, we are so short-sighted, Charlie.
00:28:01.000 Man, we just, it's just unbelievable.
00:28:04.000 And, you know, they couldn't, they couldn't kick him out fast enough.
00:28:08.000 And the Democrats were eager to do so.
00:28:10.000 And all that did.
00:28:11.000 And then we replaced him with a Democrat back in Congress that had been there before.
00:28:16.000 And man, we're we're, we just, we just can't.
00:28:21.000 I would hope the American people, though, see what's going on and just create such a shake up this go-round that we clean it up.
00:28:29.000 And it's going to have to happen in these primaries and in the generals, frankly.
00:28:34.000 You can't just elect Trump and go home.
00:28:36.000 That's the trouble with conservatives.
00:28:38.000 We do this every time.
00:28:38.000 We elect Trump.
00:28:40.000 We back him up with some moderate to liberal Republicans.
00:28:44.000 We elected Ronald Reagan, for goodness sakes.
00:28:47.000 But we always forget down ballot.
00:28:50.000 And the one thing that COVID showed us, you know, during our kids looking over our kids' shoulders at their schools on their computers from home, some of the garbage these public educators were forcing down their pornography, for instance.
00:29:05.000 And then the, you know, the school moms were being accused of being domestic terrorists by the FBI.
00:29:12.000 And so that's the consequences.
00:29:15.000 That's the consequences of 20 people deciding conservatives, so-called conservatives decided to take their election views from the view and not from their own conscience.
00:29:29.000 For years, I've been talking about how our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues, especially true if you're a Christian family.
00:29:35.000 For those of you worried about the best educational path for your kids and grandkids, I want to tell you about how Turning Point Academy is working with the Herzog Foundation, how you at home can also benefit from it.
00:29:44.000 They have an online publication called The Lion and also Making the Leap.
00:29:47.000 The Herzog Foundation offers a wide range of advice and information for Christian parents to make the best education decisions for your kids.
00:29:53.000 Go to Herzogfoundation.com.
00:29:55.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:29:57.000 So check it out right now, Herzogfoundation.com.
00:29:59.000 Portions of the Charlie Kirk Show are brought to you in part by the Stanley M. Herzog Foundation.
00:30:03.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:30:08.000 So Congressman, what is going on with this Ukraine thing?
00:30:10.000 I don't understand it.
00:30:11.000 It's a loan.
00:30:12.000 It's a payment.
00:30:13.000 What's going on here?
00:30:14.000 There's a vote that's been announced next week.
00:30:16.000 Walk us through it.
00:30:17.000 Well, I hate to always, I hate to correct you.
00:30:19.000 My name is Burchett.
00:30:21.000 Like the tree and F. You're all right.
00:30:23.000 You're all right.
00:30:23.000 You're great.
00:30:24.000 I don't care what you call me.
00:30:24.000 I'm glad to be.
00:30:25.000 At least you call me something.
00:30:27.000 That's fine.
00:30:29.000 I'm so grateful.
00:30:31.000 Wonderful show.
00:30:32.000 A lot of my folks watch it and listen.
00:30:36.000 The Ukraine, of course, here we are slipping into another war.
00:30:43.000 It's very Vietnam-esque.
00:30:45.000 First, we send the money.
00:30:46.000 They steal a bunch of it.
00:30:48.000 Then we send armament and we say, well, it's a little complicated.
00:30:51.000 We're going to send our people over there to help you figure out how to do it.
00:30:55.000 And then we start sending more advisors and then we start sending troops and then they start shipping body bags full of our young men home.
00:31:04.000 And I'm afraid that this time it'd be young men and women.
00:31:06.000 I just feel us slipping into a never-ending war with a country, Russia, whose GDP is somewhere between Canada and France.
00:31:18.000 And so we've just continued to send money there to a country that's actually the second most corrupt country in Europe, if you can imagine that.
00:31:28.000 And, you know, you hear story after story of armaments not getting to where they're supposed to be.
00:31:34.000 Pistols, for instance, and night vision goggles, two things that are heavy on the black market.
00:31:42.000 We've got no record of where they've been or where they're going.
00:31:45.000 You get, you're constantly hearing of the president over there firing people that are close to him.
00:31:51.000 And that's allegedly for corruption.
00:31:54.000 And it's just on down the line.
00:31:56.000 And here we are trying to protect Ukraine's border with Russia when we won't even give our own country a penny to put up a wall.
00:32:06.000 To me, it's just, it's very ironic.
00:32:08.000 It's crooked.
00:32:10.000 As we say in East Tennessee, it's crooked as a dog's leg.
00:32:13.000 And it's the whole thing just stinks.
00:32:16.000 I hate it.
00:32:17.000 I hate for the civilians that are caught into it in the middle of it, but it's Europe's war and they need to step up to the plate.
00:32:24.000 And for the longest time, the number two country that was supporting behind us was Estonia, for goodness sakes.
00:32:34.000 You know, Germany, England, they need to step, France, they all need to step up.
00:32:39.000 It's their war.
00:32:41.000 And, you know, we have a history of getting into their wars and taking care of business.
00:32:49.000 But this is not that time.
00:32:51.000 Congressman, thank you for your leadership and thank you for your clarity and wisdom.
00:32:55.000 We're going to be watching carefully and closely.
00:32:57.000 And I hope that we'll be able to, over the years, send more members with gusto so they could fight alongside of you.
00:33:03.000 Keep the faith.
00:33:04.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:33:05.000 We're getting thousands of emails, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:09.000 You, the audience, you are the ones that deserve credit here.
00:33:14.000 In fact, this is one of the reasons I think why this thing came alive is because so many of you, you sit around and you say, use me.
00:33:22.000 Use me.
00:33:23.000 What can I do?
00:33:24.000 What can I do?
00:33:24.000 It's too early to chase ballots.
00:33:25.000 Too early to make.
00:33:26.000 And then boom, you guys are emboldened to get another electoral vote, especially in Nebraska.
00:33:31.000 I cannot emphasize this enough.
00:33:32.000 If you're out of state, you got to be a little careful because Nebraska, if I lived in Nebraska, I wouldn't want someone from California to tell me what to do, Republican or Democrats.
00:33:40.000 But if you live in Nebraska, this is your time.
00:33:40.000 You got to be careful with that.
00:33:44.000 This is your time to step up.
00:33:46.000 I would call everybody in my phone book.
00:33:48.000 I would go down to the Capitol.
00:33:49.000 I would individually lobby.
00:33:50.000 If I lived in Nebraska right now, this would be all out.
00:33:53.000 It would be the number one priority.
00:33:54.000 It would be calls.
00:33:55.000 It would be texts.
00:33:55.000 It would be meetings.
00:33:57.000 It would be getting pastors.
00:33:58.000 And if you're out of state, you can email.
00:33:59.000 That's fine.
00:34:00.000 But this is really an in-state thing.
00:34:02.000 This has got to be a Nebraska-led thing.
00:34:05.000 And the Nebraska attitude has always been so exceptional.
00:34:08.000 You know, people call it a flyover state.
00:34:11.000 It's not.
00:34:12.000 I think that's insulting.
00:34:14.000 In fact, you know what?
00:34:15.000 If there's one last final argument as to why Nebraska should do this, keeping that one vote in Omaha gives power to the people that think you're a flyover state.
00:34:24.000 There's only one political party that actually gives a voice to Nebraska.
00:34:29.000 They just, they wrote this book, White Rule Rage.
00:34:31.000 They don't like you.
00:34:32.000 They don't want you guys.
00:34:33.000 They just want you guys to go into oblivion.
00:34:34.000 They're happy to take the most liberal slitter they have in Omaha and run away and say thanks for shopping.
00:34:39.000 Let's make it a winner-take-all.
