00:01:18.000 Here we go.
00:01:19.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:21.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:23.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:27.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:30.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:31.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:32.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:40.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:49.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:52.000 Kanye West.
00:01:54.000 He's made a couple of headlines in the last week.
00:01:57.000 We've actually had a couple episodes dedicated to Kanye West.
00:02:00.000 I actually might be one of the few political individuals that can say that I've spent time with Kanye West and President Trump in the last year and a half.
00:02:09.000 Not many people can say that.
00:02:10.000 So Kanye, of course, had the media and political world totally buzzing.
00:02:15.000 And look, again, we focused on this for good reason because I've had nothing but positive things to say about Kanye West.
00:02:23.000 And a lot of people have said, oh, he's running because he doesn't like Trump.
00:02:26.000 I didn't buy that for a second.
00:02:28.000 Kanye was not running because it was anti-Trump.
00:02:31.000 And in fact, today, an article came out.
00:02:34.000 I just laugh when I see this because it's so Kanye.
00:02:37.000 It was a four-hour interview with a Forbes reporter, okay?
00:02:40.000 It seems short, if you know Kanye.
00:02:43.000 It seems like a real short gallop in West World.
00:02:48.000 So he gave a four-hour interview to Randall Lane.
00:02:52.000 God bless his soul for having to condense four hours of Kanye West into an article.
00:02:58.000 Now, of course, Kanye's trending on Twitter.
00:03:00.000 We're going to go through this article.
00:03:01.000 I think some of it's actually brilliant.
00:03:03.000 Some of it is phenomenal.
00:03:04.000 And some of it is so needed to just the conversation and the zeitgeist all across the country.
00:03:09.000 And look, a lot of the articles that wrote it up are written by typical activist media.
00:03:14.000 And we always say activist media, not mainstream media, activist media personalities that pathologically and diabolically want to destroy Donald Trump and with it, destroy Western civilization.
00:03:27.000 So they all had this headline, Kanye is done with Trump, or Kanye dumps Trump.
00:03:33.000 And it's because of the headline that Forbes led with, which is, Kanye West says he's done with Trump, opens up about White House spid, damaging Biden and everything in between.
00:03:42.000 So look, Forbes is a respectable center-right outlet.
00:03:46.000 The article said nothing like that at all whatsoever.
00:03:49.000 It wasn't the ethos of the article.
00:03:51.000 It wasn't the spirit of the article.
00:03:53.000 It wasn't the foundation of the article.
00:03:55.000 This is completely and totally pathologically false.
00:04:00.000 It's 100% incorrect.
00:04:02.000 And this is one of the things that's wrong with headline culture, by the way.
00:04:05.000 It's all about the headline, and no one actually goes deeper.
00:04:09.000 It's all about the owning your friend on Facebook or social media or on a text message chain of just posting the article.
00:04:17.000 And if they just see the headline, somehow it proves your point.
00:04:20.000 Well, maybe you should spend the extra three minutes or 10 minutes to actually read the article.
00:04:25.000 Well, thankfully here on the Charlie Kirk show, and thanks to those of you that support us on a monthly basis on CharlieKirk.com/slash support, you allow us to actually read the articles.
00:04:35.000 Okay, so let's get down to the actual Kanye West interview that broke the internet.
00:04:39.000 And look, I think I know what Kanye's getting at here.
00:04:42.000 I actually can speak from personal experience here.
00:04:45.000 He is an extraordinary creative.
00:04:48.000 Let's just say he thrives in formats where he's able to have free flow of consciousness.
00:04:56.000 And let's just be completely honest about this.
00:04:59.000 He's an unbelievably gifted musician.
00:05:01.000 He just is.
00:05:02.000 His latest Christian album has done more for the gospel and for the kingdom of Jesus Christ than most megachurch pastors could ever dream of.
00:05:08.000 In fact, Kanye West is more bold and more courageous and more unafraid than almost any Christian pastor than I have ever met, absent Rob McCoy or Jack Hibbs or Jerry Falwell Jr., who's not a pastor but a Christian leader from Liberty University.
00:05:23.000 Those three might be the most courageous individuals that I can think of absent Kanye West.
00:05:31.000 So you actually read the interview.
00:05:33.000 It's actually really clear that he's anti-Biden, not anti-Trump.
00:05:36.000 So here's just some of the top line points of interest.
00:05:40.000 First of all, he does say that he's running for president in 2020 under a new banner, the birthday party, with guidance from Elon Musk and an obscure vice presidential candidate.
00:05:51.000 He's already chosen.
00:05:52.000 Quote, like anything I've ever done in my life, says West, I'm doing to win.
00:05:56.000 Again, I'm not laughing because I'm making a mockery of it.
00:05:58.000 We should learn that anyone running for president can become president of the United States.
00:06:01.000 That's not why I'm doing it.
00:06:02.000 I'm laughing because I know Kanye and I could just see him saying this.
00:06:05.000 That's why I'm laughing.
00:06:08.000 Some people say, oh, he's no longer supporting Trump.
00:06:11.000 He said, quote, I'm taking off the red hat in this interview.
00:06:14.000 Okay, well, you go deeper.
00:06:16.000 He actually has very fond things to say about Donald Trump.
00:06:19.000 He says he's never voted before in his life.
00:06:21.000 That would be a first.
00:06:22.000 I think that would be the first president ever to not be registered or to vote.
00:06:27.000 He said he was sick with COVID-19 in February.
00:06:30.000 He said he's very suspicious of the coronavirus vaccine because he said it could be the mark of the beast.
00:06:36.000 And he said once he wins the White House, he will organize the White House off of the secret country Wakanda in Black Panther.
00:06:45.000 West denies that this is a publicity stunt for his upcoming album.
00:06:49.000 For those of you that are saying, oh, Charlie, why are you spending so much time on this?
00:06:52.000 Just so you understand, Kanye West is probably one of the most accomplished, if not the most accomplished musician in the modern era and definitely someone who has done more in the fashion, media, and influence industry than anyone I can think of.
00:07:05.000 This is what Kanye says in the interview.
00:07:07.000 It's pretty incredible.
00:07:08.000 I'm not saying Trump's in my way.
00:07:10.000 He may be part of my way.
00:07:12.000 And Joe Biden, like, come on then, please.
00:07:14.000 You know, Obama's special.
00:07:16.000 Trump's special.
00:07:17.000 We say Kanye West is special.
00:07:19.000 America needs special people that lead.
00:07:21.000 Bill Clinton's special.
00:07:22.000 Joe Biden, not special.
00:07:24.000 So I got to do a billboard campaign at Turning Point Action.
00:07:28.000 This is Joe Biden, not special, Kanye West.
00:07:31.000 I just, I think it'd be brilliant.
00:07:32.000 It's just such a perfect Kanye West quote.
00:07:35.000 Now, some of the most scathing remarks Kanye West reserved for Democrats.
00:07:39.000 Now, mind you, the activist media, Don Lemon and the grifting conmen, had nothing to say about this.
00:07:45.000 Kanye West, one of the most accomplished black rappers, is signaling that there's something happening in the black community, something real, something substantial.
00:07:53.000 Kanye said this.
00:07:54.000 That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is splitting the vote.
00:08:03.000 All that information is being charged up on social media platforms by Democrats.
00:08:08.000 And Democrats used to tell me the same Democrats that have threatened me, by the way, the reason why this is the first day I registered a vote is because I was scared.
00:08:15.000 I was told that if I voted on Trump, my music career would be over.
00:08:19.000 I was threatened into being in one party.
00:08:20.000 I was threatened as a celebrity into being in one party.
00:08:23.000 I was threatened as a black man into the Democrat Party.
00:08:26.000 And that's what the Democrats are doing emotionally to my people, threatening them to the point where this white man can tell a black man, if you don't vote for me, you're not black.
00:08:34.000 That right there should have been the headline.
00:08:34.000 Boom.
00:08:37.000 Right there, Kanye West, the headline should have been, Joe Biden thinks I'm not black because I'm not going to support him.
00:08:43.000 That's what a fair headline would have been.
00:08:45.000 Not that he's dumping Trump.
00:08:46.000 It's just not the ethos of the article at all.
00:08:49.000 Kanye said, I would run as a Republican if Trump wasn't there.
00:08:52.000 I'll run as an independent if Trump is there.
00:08:55.000 So basically, Kanye is saying he's more Republican than Democrat.
00:08:59.000 That's a really big headline, everybody.
00:09:01.000 Kanye's never said this before.
00:09:03.000 Kanye also said, Trump is the closest president we've had in years to allowing God to still be part of the conversation.
00:09:09.000 Now, mind you, Randall Lane did make the connection, good for him, where he said, he also admits that it's okay with siphoning off black votes and the Democrat nominee thus helping Trump, end quote.
00:09:09.000 Huge.
00:09:20.000 And Kanye said directly this: I'm not denying it.
00:09:23.000 I just told you, to say that the black vote is Democrat is a form of racism and white supremacy.
00:09:28.000 Now, in another section, the reporter just gets it totally wrong.
00:09:32.000 He titles the section, How the Race Will Be Decided.
00:09:35.000 Here's what Kanye actually says: Kanye, let's see if the appointing is at 2020 or if it's 2024, because God appoints the president.
00:09:42.000 If I win in 2020, then it was God's appointment.
00:09:45.000 If I win in 2024, then that was God's appointment.
00:09:48.000 Kanye is a deeply spiritual person at this point in his life.
00:09:52.000 He has led worship services all across the country, from New York to Chicago to L.A. What Kanye is saying, what I believe he's saying, is in a Christian sense, he is leaving room for God to decide if he's supposed to be president in 2020 or 2024.
00:10:06.000 He's also leaving room for this to be Trump's years.
00:10:08.000 Kanye said this about Planned Parenthood.
00:10:10.000 Huge indictment of Planned Parenthood.
00:10:13.000 Quote, Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the devil's work.
00:10:18.000 Kanye continued, I'm pro-life because I followed the word of the Bible.
00:10:23.000 Amen, Kanye West.
00:10:24.000 Amen.
00:10:25.000 Kanye also said, I'm focused on protecting America first with our great military.
00:10:29.000 Let's focus on ourselves first.
00:10:32.000 Kanye West Trump 2020, anybody?
00:10:35.000 I mean, he's basically using the Trump platform here, which is great.
00:10:38.000 God bless him.
00:10:39.000 More disruptive people out there that are echoing what is right and good in the world is a good thing.
00:10:46.000 Now, mind you, the reporter put a comma there, but I don't think that should be there.
00:10:49.000 Kanye is endorsing the America first doctrine of President Trump.
00:10:53.000 He is reusing it.
00:10:55.000 It's also interesting to see Kanye's take on vaccines.
00:10:58.000 Now, let me just tell you, it's a very complicated subject, and I think that it's wrong for the state to make mandates.
00:11:04.000 But I do think it's interesting that Kanye comes that far out against vaccines.
00:11:09.000 This is an argument that is likely to come full circle when a vaccine is eventually announced and approved by the government for public use.
00:11:15.000 Reports indicate that 60 to 75% of the population will need to take the vaccine for it to be effective in essentially stopping the spread of the Chinese virus.
00:11:23.000 Here's what Kanye had to say about it: quote, It's so many of our children that are being vaccinated and paralyzed.
00:11:28.000 So when they say that they're going to fix COVID with a vaccine, I'm extremely cautious.
00:11:32.000 That's the mark of the beast.
00:11:33.000 They want to put chips inside of us, trying to do all kinds of things to make it where we can't cross the gates of heaven.
00:11:39.000 I'm sorry when I say that they, the humans, that had the devil inside them.
00:11:43.000 And the sad thing is that the saddest thing is that they won't all make it to heaven and that there'll be some of us that do not make it.
00:11:48.000 Next question.
00:11:50.000 Well, that's awfully bold for Kanye West.
00:11:54.000 Interestingly enough, Elon Musk, who would be Kanye's pick to run NASA, has a company that literally puts chips inside people's heads.
00:12:00.000 It's called Neuralink.
00:12:02.000 And this is from just May 7th this year from the Daily Mail.
00:12:05.000 Elon Musk says his Neuralink company will do human brain implants within a year to help cure injuries, and the device could eventually enable symbiosis with artificial intelligence.
00:12:14.000 Elon Musk spoke on Joe Rogan's podcast about his company, Neuralink.
00:12:17.000 Musk also said that his firm will have a brain implant ready within a year.
00:12:22.000 The chip could fix brain injuries that would result in ailments of the body.
00:12:25.000 And Musk also noted that he could become a full brain interface in just 25 years.
00:12:29.000 That is something that is very horrifying.
00:12:33.000 So maybe this is an interesting tidbit, and not that there's much to make of it, but perhaps Kanye is not aware, or maybe it's just an ongoing debate between him and Elon Musk.
00:12:42.000 Now, here's Kanye on schools.
00:12:43.000 Now, listen very carefully.
00:12:45.000 Kanye is saying he loves the Constitution.
00:12:47.000 This is so refreshing versus the left-wing nonsense that we hear about deleting and destroying our history.
00:12:52.000 Kanye says the schools, the infrastructure was made for us to not truly be all we could be and just enough to work for the corporations that designed the school systems.
00:13:01.000 We're going to tear that up.
00:13:03.000 He means the system.
00:13:04.000 He means the corporate system.
00:13:06.000 Don't totally agree with that, but that's fine.
00:13:08.000 What we'll do here is not going to tear up the Constitution.
00:13:10.000 What we do is amend.
00:13:11.000 He does say some fondness for the Constitution.
00:13:14.000 Now, Kanye has some very firm words for TikTok.
00:13:18.000 He calls it torture porn.
00:13:20.000 Coming in hot, Kanye.
00:13:22.000 He also says this on Black History Month.
00:13:25.000 Oh, one other thing on Black History Month.
00:13:27.000 That is torture porn too.
00:13:28.000 Because when that comes up, we do what we see.
00:13:31.000 And by the way, if I get that vibe, that's the process that we're going to do a beautiful, uplifting, fun, creative process as a people, as America collectively, and show the world how great we are.
00:13:40.000 So here we go.
00:13:41.000 Black History Month.
00:13:42.000 Every year, they got to remind us about the fact that we couldn't vote.
00:13:45.000 They meaning white supremacy construct.
00:13:47.000 And I said that with the CT at the end.
00:13:50.000 I knew what I was, what I was talking about.
00:13:52.000 Our minds are so much more infinite than what's coming across TikTok or Instagram.
00:13:56.000 We're trying to influence our children and the next generation of who we are.
00:13:59.000 So this is a theme that we've been talking about a lot on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:14:03.000 And the bottom line is this: when Kanye finished with this, reinstating God's state, in God's country, the fear and the love of God in all schools and organizations, and you chill the fear and love of everything else.
00:14:14.000 So in closing, this, look, Kanye's a little wild.
00:14:17.000 We know that.
00:14:17.000 He's a little bit off the wall.
00:14:18.000 But there is a lot of wisdom in what he's saying.
00:14:20.000 It's asymmetrical.
00:14:21.000 It's disruptive.
00:14:22.000 It's not part of the Democrats' plan.
00:14:25.000 All of those things should be applauded.
00:14:27.000 All of those things should be appreciated.
00:14:30.000 All of those things should be understood.
00:14:32.000 Let's just play some tape of him from the Oval Office when he got condemned and ridiculed so much when he was wearing his MAGA hat.
00:14:40.000 Let's just do a little flashback to that.
00:14:41.000 Play tape.
00:14:42.000 It was something about when I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman.
00:14:46.000 You made a Superman.
00:14:48.000 That's my favorite superhero.
00:14:49.000 And you made a Superman cake.
00:14:51.000 For me, also as a guy that looks up to you, looks up to Rock Lauren, looks up to American industry guys.
00:14:57.000 Non-political, no bullshit.
00:14:59.000 Put the beep on it, however you want to do it, five seconds delay, and just goes in and gets it done.
00:15:05.000 Right now, you gave me the heart to go to Adidas because at Adidas, when I went in in 2015, we were a $14 million company losing $2 billion a year.
00:15:15.000 Now we have a $38 billion market cap.
00:15:18.000 It's called the Yeezy effect.
00:15:21.000 And I went to Casper.
00:15:22.000 We had a meeting in Chicago.
00:15:24.000 And I said, you have to bring manufacturing on shore, and it's shore into the core.
00:15:33.000 It's not about the borders, the core of Adidas.
00:15:36.000 And Chicago is the core of Middle America.
00:15:39.000 We have to make Middle America strong.
00:15:41.000 So I had the balls because I have enough balls to put on this hat.
00:15:45.000 I mean, this Adidas thing made me a billionaire.
00:15:47.000 And I could have lost $200 million walking away from that deal.
00:15:51.000 But even with that, I knew it was more important for me to take the chance of walking away from that deal than to have no fathers in Chicago with no hope.
00:16:00.000 This is the same Kanye West.
00:16:01.000 He's a Kanye West that does not like the trajectory of the country that would be run under Joe Biden and the BLM Inc. radicals.
00:16:09.000 I support free thinkers.
00:16:11.000 We have a shirt at Turning PointUSA, TPUSA.com, that says free thinkers only.
00:16:16.000 I'm a Kanye West fan.
00:16:17.000 I just am.
00:16:18.000 He's not doing this against Trump.
00:16:20.000 He has a lot of courage.
00:16:21.000 Sometimes he says some things I don't agree with.
00:16:23.000 You can be a fan of somebody just because you don't agree with every single thing they say.
00:16:27.000 Instead, I like the courage.
00:16:28.000 I like the conviction.
00:16:30.000 I like the confidence.
00:16:31.000 And yes, I like Kanye West.
00:16:34.000 So now we're about to get into someone who I don't like who is, let's just say, I have 10 words actually to describe her. 0.96
00:16:39.000 David Letterman style.
00:16:41.000 We can actually play the music probably.
00:16:43.000 Play music.
00:16:57.000 Yes, David Letterman style.
00:16:58.000 We'll get there in just a second.
00:17:00.000 Before I do, I want to say thank you to those of you that support our podcast, charliekirk.com slash support, charliekirk.com slash support.
00:17:06.000 Those of you that support us monthly, we have a Zoom call coming up next month for our supporters that support us, and we'll be sending some information out about that.
00:17:15.000 But for the supporters that support us on charliekirk.com slash support, you help us stay independent, free of boycotts, free from divestment, and free from the left trying to destroy this very, very important program.
00:17:26.000 So please go to charliekirk.com slash support.
00:17:29.000 CharlieKirk.com slash support.
00:17:30.000 It helps minimize the amount of advertisements we have on our program.
00:17:34.000 So now someone who deserves 10 words to describe David Letterman style play the music again.
00:17:53.000 Elon Omar.
00:17:55.000 I mean, Elon Omar has been running her mouth lately.
00:17:57.000 And when Elon Omar is running her mouth, that means that anti-Americanism is on the run.
00:18:02.000 Anti-Americanism is growing.
00:18:04.000 Here's 10 words to describe Elon Omar.
00:18:08.000 She's despicable, ignorant, conniving, immoral, selfish, anti-American, corrupt, nefarious, vile, ingrate.
00:18:18.000 Now, why do I say all that?
00:18:19.000 Because just this week, she said something that was incredibly despicable.
00:18:23.000 Play tape. 0.96
00:18:25.000 As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out, we will perpetuate this inequality.
00:18:41.000 So we cannot stop at criminal justice system.
00:18:44.000 We must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.
00:18:52.000 That's right.
00:18:53.000 Just like Joe Biden, Elon Omar wants to fundamentally dismantle America's political and economic system.
00:19:00.000 The very same system, mind you, that allowed a Somali born refugee to rise through the ranks of our government and become one of the most recognizable congresswomen in America.
00:19:10.000 That does not sound like oppression to me at all.
00:19:12.000 And it certainly doesn't sound like something that would ever happen in a systemically racist country.
00:19:18.000 She does not love America, period.
00:19:20.000 She's given up on America.
00:19:22.000 I've said it before.
00:19:24.000 You do not seek to fundamentally transform that which you love.
00:19:27.000 You don't go to your wife or your girlfriend and you say, I love you.
00:19:31.000 Can you please fundamentally transform yourself?
00:19:34.000 Because if you fundamentally transform yourself, then I'll love you more.
00:19:38.000 You don't fundamentally transform that which you have love for.
00:19:38.000 You don't say that.
00:19:43.000 As my friend Marcia Blackburn tweeted, Elon Omar took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
00:19:49.000 And now she says she wants to completely and totally shred it.
00:19:53.000 What would her replacement system look like?
00:19:55.000 No matter what DNC Inc. tries to tell you, it looks a lot what Joe Biden's replacement America looks like, which I cover on the sister episode today, Joe Biden on trial.
00:20:06.000 Check out the sister episode, Joe Biden on Trial.
00:20:09.000 And mind you, this push to destroy America comes as a total bombshell story comes out, which reveals that her reelection campaign has spent $900,000 on a consulting firm.
00:20:22.000 Owned by who?
00:20:23.000 Her latest husband, her newest and latest, I don't know if it's her greatest husband, Tim Minette.
00:20:29.000 Estimates have her on track to spend $1.16 million with her husband in 2020 alone.
00:20:34.000 Explain to me how that's not a conflict of self-interest policy. 0.86
00:20:37.000 Explain to me how that does not have reporters all across the country demanding for her resignation. 1.00
00:20:42.000 Well, she's a non-American-born Somali refugee who hates America. 1.00
00:20:47.000 Therefore, she's the darling of the American activist media. 1.00
00:20:50.000 This country that she so despises is on track to make her ridiculously rich.
00:20:55.000 In fact, so rich she'll be able to fly first class to Mogadishu whenever she wants and fly first class back to America and tell us how awful America is despite Mogadishu literally being Mogadishu.
00:21:07.000 Now, imagine coming from a refugee camp in Mogadishu.
00:21:10.000 If you don't know what Mogadishu is, let's just say they don't have carnival cruises stopping in Mogadishu, okay, because they got Somali pirates that will probably kill you and kill your family.
00:21:23.000 So imagine coming from that same refugee camp to then lining your own pockets with millions of dollars of your constituents' dollars and saying, nope, this system does not give me enough power.
00:21:33.000 Time to dismantle and rebuild.
00:21:36.000 Now, when I say they dismantle and transform, they're very serious.
00:21:41.000 Take the latest Democrat power grab, the Breathe Act, sponsored by fellow ingrates, which mean ungrateful ones, Elon Omar, Ayanna Presley, and Rashida Tlaib.
00:21:52.000 If passed, it would close all federal prisons because we need more rapists than society, don't we?
00:21:57.000 We got a real rapist shortage, according to Elon Omar.
00:22:01.000 Defund the police, abolish ICE, give illegals the right to vote, push for reparations, and give felons the right to vote.
00:22:08.000 So tack that onto their green New Deal, and you've got your transformed America.
00:22:14.000 But I'm sure some of you are thinking, wait a second, Charlie, Joe Biden's not that bad.
00:22:18.000 The media tells us he's a blue dog Democrat.
00:22:20.000 Well, first, please, again, listen to our sister episode and support our independent research on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:22:26.000 We have a team of fact-checkers and researchers that are able to do the work the media does not.
00:22:30.000 You go to charliekirk.com/slash support.
00:22:31.000 You help support our program, find the truth.
00:22:36.000 But in case you needed further proof of Joe Biden's radicalism, here's a video in his campaign that our team caught and found that the media didn't cover, where he's now advocating for defunding the police, play tape.
00:22:47.000 So my generic point is that.
00:22:48.000 Can we agree that we can redirect some of the funding?
00:22:52.000 Yes, absolutely.
00:22:54.000 One of the things that we also need to be doing is fundamentally changing the way, and I've been pushing it for years, changing the way we deal with our prison system.
00:23:03.000 That's right.
00:23:04.000 Beijing Biden is one of them.
00:23:06.000 Biden, Bernie, AOC, Elon Omar, Pelosi, they're all caught from the same anti-American cloth.
00:23:13.000 And there's another one that I actually want to take a look into, and this is a Democrat that I know quite well. 0.98
00:23:18.000 She's a scam artist. 0.98
00:23:20.000 She's someone that you have to be very well aware of, and she might be the next vice president of the United States.
00:23:24.000 Before I get into it, I just want to say thank you again for our supporters at CharlieKirk.com slash support.
00:23:28.000 It means a lot.
00:23:29.000 CharlieKirk.com slash support.
00:23:31.000 Thank you.
00:23:32.000 Her name is Tammy Duckworth.
00:23:34.000 Now, I actually have more knowledge and more understanding and more experience with Tammy Duckworth than probably any other podcaster out there.
00:23:46.000 I got my start, my political start, in 2011, 2012, literally creating opposition research files on Tammy Duckworth in Illinois because I started, I didn't start turning point USA until 2012 and I was involved in, guess who was running up against Tammy Duckworth?
00:23:59.000 Anyone?
00:24:00.000 You know who's running up against Tammy Duckworth?
00:24:02.000 Joe Walsh was running up against Tammy Duckworth in 2012 for Congress, who ran for president.
00:24:08.000 I know Joe from many years ago.
00:24:11.000 And look, again, I've been on Tammy Duckworth's case since I was in high school.
00:24:16.000 In fact, there's an entire dossier of opposition research devoted to the junior senator from Illinois' very questionable record.
00:24:27.000 She lost her legs in a helicopter incident serving in the United States military.
00:24:33.000 I'm going to leave that right there.
00:24:35.000 And we're going to leave that right there.
00:24:40.000 And because of that, and we do thank her for her service, because of that, she thinks she's immune to criticism.
00:24:47.000 She thinks that because something awful happened to her, somehow her arguments are more correct.
00:24:54.000 So in response to President Trump's incredible Mount Rushmore speech, Duckworth claimed the entire speech was spent praising dead traitors.
00:25:06.000 So now, if she ends up being the vice president nominee for Joe Biden, every single day, the media should ask her, can you name the dead traitor that Trump was mentioning?
00:25:18.000 Which dead traitor?
00:25:19.000 Who is the dead traitor?
00:25:21.000 Tell us the dead traitor.
00:25:23.000 Please tell us the dead traitor.
00:25:25.000 Because Trump mentioned none of it, and Tucker went after her.
00:25:29.000 Play tape.
00:25:30.000 Long clips from the president's recent address at Mount Rushmore.
00:25:33.000 It may have been the best speech Donald Trump has ever given.
00:25:36.000 It was succinct and clear, and it was true.
00:25:38.000 And for all of those reasons, the Democratic Party and its many minions absolutely hated it.
00:25:43.000 They denounced the speech, and this may not come as a complete surprise to you, as quote, racist.
00:25:48.000 Now, that's a slur long divorced from any actual meaning, but we should tell you that as a factual matter, it's a lie.
00:25:55.000 There was nothing even conceivably racist about Trump's speech.
00:25:58.000 Go watch it for yourself.
00:26:00.000 There's not a racist word or idea in the whole thing.
00:26:03.000 The only time Trump even brought up the Civil War was to praise Abraham Lincoln, who, thank God, won it.
00:26:08.000 He never mentioned the Confederacy or anyone in the Confederacy.
00:26:12.000 Instead, Trump praised unabashed American heroes like George Washington, Clara Barton, the Wright brothers, Jackie Robinson.
00:26:20.000 Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois watched Trump's speech, or claimed she did.
00:26:24.000 Her summary of it, quote, he spent all his time talking about dead traitors.
00:26:30.000 George Washington, Clara Barton, Jackie Robinson, they are all, according to Tammy Duckworth, dead traitors.
00:26:37.000 Pretty shocking.
00:26:38.000 In case you think we're being unfair here, in the same interview, Senator Duckworth was asked if we should tear down statues to George Washington.
00:26:46.000 Sure, she responded.
00:26:47.000 Let's talk about it.
00:26:48.000 We played that tape for you last night, and we noted how grotesque it was.
00:26:52.000 Only someone who hates the country would suggest ripping down monuments to its founder.
00:26:57.000 Apparently, Tammy Duckworth saw what we said.
00:26:59.000 She didn't disagree with it exactly.
00:27:02.000 Instead, she questioned our right to criticize her at all, since she was once injured while serving in the Illinois Army National Guard.
00:27:09.000 That's what passes for an argument in modern identity politics.
00:27:12.000 They don't address the points that you make.
00:27:14.000 They question your right to make them at all.
00:27:17.000 The irony, of course, is that George Washington himself, the dead traitor Tammy Duckworth has such contempt for, also served in the military.
00:27:25.000 Washington spent most of his adult life under arms.
00:27:28.000 He fought in two wars.
00:27:29.000 At one point during the winter of 1777, Washington lost almost a quarter of his entire army to cold and malnutrition.
00:27:37.000 So George Washington paid his dues.
00:27:40.000 He was, as we might say today, a combat veteran.
00:27:43.000 And by the way, Washington also created the country we live in.
00:27:46.000 George Washington was a genuinely great man.
00:27:49.000 But to morons like Tammy Duckworth, Washington is just some old white guy who needs to be erased.
00:27:53.000 Let's tear down his statues, rename our capital city Sharpton or Mandela and let the revolution continue.
00:27:59.000 But hold on, not so fast.
00:28:01.000 Changes that profound deserve a debate.
00:28:04.000 Not some fake national conversation where they scream commands at you and you get to obey, but a vigorous, reasoned exchange between adults.
00:28:13.000 We wanted to have an exchange like that with Tammy Duckworth tonight.
00:28:17.000 So we called her office and we invited her on the show. 0.93
00:28:19.000 Her flack informed us that before even considering our request, we must first issue a public apology for criticizing Tammy Duckworth.
00:28:28.000 In other words, I will not debate you until first you admit you're completely wrong.
00:28:34.000 Keep in mind, Tammy Duckworth is not a child, at least not technically, she is a sitting United States senator who is often described as a hero.
00:28:42.000 Yet Duckworth is too afraid to defend her own statements on a cable TV show. 0.99
00:28:46.000 What a coward. 0.96
00:28:47.000 Tammy Duckworth is also a fraud.
00:28:50.000 Five years ago, while she was a member of Congress, whistleblowers from a VA hospital in Illinois approached Duckworth to report the widespread mistreatment of sick veterans.
00:28:58.000 Remember that story?
00:29:00.000 The whistleblowers met with Tammy Duckworth three times. 1.00
00:29:03.000 She refused to help them.
00:29:04.000 According to a cardiologist who attended those meetings, Duckworth dismissed the systemic cruelty inflicted on dying veterans by saying that, quote, that's just how it is at the VA.
00:29:15.000 The whistleblowers were horrified by her response.
00:29:17.000 Ultimately, in frustration, they took their story to the media and it became a national scandal.
00:29:23.000 This is the person lecturing the rest of us about her moral authority as a veteran.
00:29:29.000 Spare us. 1.00
00:29:30.000 Tammy Duckworth is a callous hack who ignored the suffering of actual veterans when it actually mattered. 1.00
00:29:36.000 She has no moral authority. 1.00
00:29:38.000 She is just a politician like the rest of them. 1.00
00:29:40.000 She works for us. 1.00
00:29:41.000 This is a democracy. 1.00
00:29:43.000 She has an obligation to explain herself and answer our questions.
00:29:47.000 And our first question would be: how can you lead a country you despise?
00:29:51.000 And that's not something we would ask only to Tammy Duckworth, by the way.
00:29:54.000 Hating America is a major theme in the Democratic Party right now.
00:29:58.000 Turn on the TV.
00:29:58.000 It's everywhere.
00:29:59.000 Epic SmackDown.
00:30:01.000 And the fact that Joe Biden is still considering her to be vice president only reinforces the points that we've been making on this program.
00:30:08.000 It tells you that Joe Biden is going to be a vessel for radical Marxist anti-American activism in the most pure, sinister, and malevolent form.
00:30:19.000 Now, naturally, the backlash to Tucker in this segment was incredible.
00:30:23.000 And he hasn't backed down.
00:30:24.000 Anyone with the audacity to criticize Tammy Duckworth?
00:30:29.000 They deserve to be applauded because that's not supposed to happen. 1.00
00:30:32.000 So Tammy Duckworth then responded to Tucker Carlson and said, well, try to walk a mile in my legs or my shoes. 0.94
00:30:43.000 Which, fine, great. 1.00
00:30:44.000 Great social media throwdown.
00:30:46.000 Doesn't actually address the issue that she was wrongly and falsely saying that Donald Trump was praising dead traitors.
00:30:57.000 Tammy challenged her to walk a mile in her legs, basically doing what the left always does, saying that we can't have a conversation, we can't debate because of something unfortunate that did happen to you or the color of my skin, instead of actually diving into the issues.
00:31:14.000 And by the way, if service to your country precluded you from criticism, why is it that the entire media has spent three years, three and a half years, trying to fundamentally destroy and attack Lieutenant General Michael Flynn?
00:31:27.000 Wouldn't that preclude him from criticism?
00:31:30.000 By her own standards, there are thousands of journalists who owe Flynn and his entire family a very sincere apology.
00:31:39.000 And think about this.
00:31:40.000 By her standards, according to the left, this new rule would preclude General George Washington from all those attacks.
00:31:48.000 And she says that George Washington was a trainer.
00:31:50.000 She says that George Washington was a traitor.
00:31:52.000 He founded the country.
00:31:54.000 How could you betray the country you found?
00:31:57.000 It's actually incredibly paradoxically impossible.
00:32:02.000 It's axiomatically impossible, in fact.
00:32:06.000 As a matter of fact, this is something that you could tell some of your friends at a cocktail party.
00:32:11.000 George Washington is actually the general of the armies of the United States, a posthumous honor given to him by Congress in 1976.
00:32:20.000 So he's actually still the general of the United States military.
00:32:26.000 And that makes him the highest possible rank in the United States military, equivalent to a six-star general.
00:32:32.000 But you can't criticize him, right?
00:32:35.000 This is a tactic of the left.
00:32:37.000 The left does this very often, and we'll end on this note: they try to use a debate tactic called arguing from authority.
00:32:44.000 They do it all the time.
00:32:46.000 This is inherently a logical fallacy.
00:32:50.000 I'm a professor, therefore I must be right.
00:32:53.000 I'm a black person, therefore I know black issues better than you do.
00:32:57.000 This kind of arguing from authority is a postmodern Jacques Derrida tactic to silence critics.
00:33:06.000 It is a tactic rooted in the idea that everyone has their own truth and that if you have an argument from a certain piece of authority, you should be given more credibility.
00:33:14.000 This is nonsense.
00:33:16.000 Now, we thank Tammy Duckworth for serving.
00:33:19.000 Thank you.
00:33:21.000 But when she says to Tucker, without actually addressing the criticism, well, why don't you walk a mile on her legs, it immediately ends the debate and we go back into our tribal groups of right versus left, team right versus team left. 0.99
00:33:36.000 Instead, Tammy Duckworth should have dove into the issues and not tried to posture around arguing from authority. 0.99
00:33:48.000 You see that the left do this all the time.
00:33:50.000 I'm sure a lot of people, in fact, I get thousands of emails of people listening to this podcast.
00:33:55.000 People that say, Charlie, I'm told I can't speak because I'm white.
00:33:59.000 I'm told that I can't have an opinion on BLM Inc. because I'm a white male.
00:34:03.000 Truth transcends color.
00:34:08.000 Facts, data, statistics, logic is true no matter who communicates them.
00:34:15.000 This idea that only men or only women or only black people or Hispanic people are able to speak a certain series of facts is a gateway to the destruction of dialogue and discourse, and with that, the United States of America.
00:34:33.000 Any person should be able to say anything.
00:34:36.000 That's right.
00:34:37.000 Now, mind you, if a certain individual says something, they should also back it up with facts, data, statistic, and independent pieces of information.
00:34:48.000 Let me build out why this is so dangerous.
00:34:50.000 If we take the left's tactics and we engage in them, all of a sudden the best argument does not win.
00:34:57.000 The best policy idea does not win.
00:35:00.000 The moral good does not win.
00:35:02.000 Instead, it's whoever is the most oppressed group or the person that might be closest to the highest authority figure.
00:35:09.000 This is very dangerous.
00:35:11.000 Instead, submit into the general consensus why you believe what you believe and why other people should also believe it.
00:35:20.000 Being able to say, well, I know this better because I'm of a certain skin color.
00:35:25.000 Well, maybe you have certain experiences that might be micro true, but does it back up a macro truth?
00:35:32.000 I'll give you a great example.
00:35:35.000 If I had someone here on this podcast and they said, Charlie, I'm going to tell you something that's true.
00:35:41.000 Seatbelts kill people.
00:35:44.000 Well, he said, that's statistically completely untrue.
00:35:48.000 And they say, well, my brother died because a seatbelt suffocated him in a car accident.
00:35:52.000 Therefore, it's true.
00:35:54.000 So his own personal story, his truth, makes it feel as if that should be applied to the entire world.
00:36:01.000 However, it's not true.
00:36:04.000 In fact, seatbelts save tens of thousands of lives and only jeopardize 10 or 15 lives every single year.
00:36:12.000 So is what he's saying true?
00:36:13.000 Of course not.
00:36:15.000 Now, is the story that he submits something that happened?
00:36:19.000 Yes.
00:36:20.000 But his argument from authority could mislead an entire society around a public policy debate around seatbelts.
00:36:31.000 This is not uncommon.
00:36:32.000 The same could be said around BLM Inc.
00:36:35.000 When people go on television and they say, well, you don't understand police brutality because you've never lived it.
00:36:42.000 And if you've never lived it, it's true.
00:36:43.000 You've never lived it.
00:36:44.000 That doesn't mean you can't comment on it.
00:36:47.000 That doesn't mean you cannot engage in the conversation.
00:36:50.000 That doesn't mean you have to sit down and shut up.
00:36:52.000 That doesn't mean you have to listen to other people that have lived it.
00:36:55.000 Instead, they should be able to submit independently audited, independently audited, agreed-upon data and statistics that are applicable to entire societies and entire communities, not just an individual story.
00:37:10.000 Because then you dive into the emotive, the pathological.
00:37:14.000 Well, my story is sadder, and what happened to me is so unjust.
00:37:18.000 So for example, people try to say, well, white privilege because of Brock Turner.
00:37:22.000 Well, first of all, we've already unpacked that here on the Charlie Kirk show multiple times, that it was wealth privilege, not white privilege.
00:37:28.000 But just that one story is so outrageous, and I agree it's emotively outrageous, it would be such a mistake to create public policy around that.
00:37:37.000 In fact, it'd be misleading.
00:37:39.000 It'd be a disservice to the truth.
00:37:42.000 The left loves to be able to hide behind certain individuals that can argue from authority or from personal experience, despite the fact that the macro truth, in fact, the ultimate truth, does not correlate with whatever narrative they might be peddling.
00:37:59.000 They've done this for every single issue you can imagine.
00:38:03.000 Gun violence, racial tension, white privilege, education.
00:38:08.000 The left is always better at the right at being able to tell stories because we on the right, for good reason, by the way, and it puts us at a storytelling and strategic disadvantage, is we demand facts, data, statistics, and agreed-upon starting points.
00:38:30.000 If you do not have a given, in geometry terms, that all of you can point to and say, yes, that is true, then all of a sudden you're going to be doing nothing more than swapping campfire stories and whoever cries the best and has the saddest story to tell will win the argument.
00:38:49.000 You cannot build a society around that.
00:38:52.000 You can't.
00:38:53.000 In fact, you shouldn't.
00:38:56.000 In fact, if that ends up being rewarded, which is what's happening right now in America, where the person with the saddest story, despite it being an isolated incident and not part of something that is systemic or part of a macro trend, if you give them that sort of unwarranted attention and application to the general piece of public policy, then you're designing an entire country governmentally and culturally around a lie.
00:39:25.000 For example, police are not systemically racist.
00:39:28.000 They take the singular incident of Derek Chauvin killing George Floyd and want to apply it to our entire society.
00:39:37.000 That specific incident happened that is not emblematic of police officers across the country.
00:39:44.000 No data, no science, no statistics show that.
00:39:49.000 So for a lot of the students listening to this podcast, I encourage you to reject any arguments from authority or from identity politics.
00:39:57.000 If a teacher says, I'm right because I'm a teacher, say, that's a logical fallacy.
00:40:02.000 Prove it to me.
00:40:04.000 If your teacher says the first law of Newtonian physics is incorrect and I'm right because I'm a professor, they're lying to you.
00:40:12.000 And you, who might just be an undergraduate student or an eighth grade physics student, you might have more truth than the teacher if you believe in the first law of physics because it's true.
00:40:21.000 So what Tammy Duckworth does right here is a argument from authority, identity politic, oppression Olympic, sleight of hand. 0.66
00:40:30.000 Do not tolerate this.
00:40:32.000 We as Republicans engage in this far too often.
00:40:36.000 We just do.
00:40:37.000 Anyone can talk about any topic, especially when there is a plethora of data out there.
00:40:46.000 I am not dismissing that personal stories do not have a place in the national conversation, but they have a place in the national conversation when they are harmonic and congruent with something that is proven in data and science, physics, history, logical, or critical thinking.
00:41:06.000 Please listen to our sister episode where we take down Joe Biden and send it to all your friends.
00:41:11.000 It's very comprehensive.

00:41:50.000 What is the meaning of life?
00:41:51.000 And kind of an attack on nihilism, something I've been doing a lot of thinking about.
