00:00:25.000 That is tpusa.com.
00:00:28.000 Buckle up, everybody, here.
00:00:30.000 We go.
00:00:30.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:32.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:00:34.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:38.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:41.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:42.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:43.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:00:45.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:50.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:51.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:00.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:03.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:12.000 We're getting lots of emails on the Hunter Biden story we just covered.
00:01:16.000 It's really all about Trump.
00:01:17.000 It's all about 2024.
00:01:18.000 But we're going to shift gears.
00:01:19.000 We're going to talk about Arizona.
00:01:20.000 Tyler Boyer is here, Arizona expert.
00:01:22.000 We have one minute and then we have like a short break and then a five-minute thing.
00:01:24.000 What's going on with McConnell and Blake Masters?
00:01:27.000 Look, here's the download.
00:01:29.000 McConnell has done nothing here in Arizona.
00:01:32.000 Zero.
00:01:34.000 By doing zero, you're actually hurting us more than you're helping at all.
00:01:39.000 So, and part of this is because Mitch McConnell just can't get on board with the fact that Blake Masters is the best Senate candidate maybe in the country.
00:01:47.000 And he's scared of him and all that.
00:01:50.000 And that's going to get knocked off.
00:01:51.000 We're a team.
00:01:53.000 And Mitch McConnell needs to come in and invest big time in Arizona, especially with this in striking distance.
00:01:58.000 Yeah.
00:01:58.000 And so some people are saying, oh, we don't need McConnell's money.
00:02:01.000 I'm going to explain why you do and kind of how this whole process works and how hard it is to raise money.
00:02:07.000 The NRSC has said that they're adding a seven-figure investment, but we don't know, no specific seven-figure.
00:02:12.000 We don't know what it's going to be spent on, but it's a shift.
00:02:14.000 I mean, McConnell pulled out a couple of weeks ago and he's coming back in because this is a very winnable race.
00:02:18.000 Yeah, no.
00:02:19.000 So, I mean, Mitch McConnell months and months ago said that, I mean, basically that, oh, yeah, we're going to get involved.
00:02:26.000 And then all of a sudden did nothing in Arizona.
00:02:29.000 But the reason why this is important is because Mitch McConnell has been talking to donors for not just months, but years, saying, like, this is the biggest battle of our lifetime.
00:02:37.000 2024, Republicans are going to mop the floor with Democrats on the Senate level.
00:02:42.000 So this is the battle that's a great map.
00:02:44.000 We're going to fight now.
00:02:45.000 24 is a great map.
00:02:46.000 2022 is the tough one.
00:02:47.000 And he's been telling, and these people have been telling donors, like, oh, yeah, give me money as a leader so I can go help in the strategic areas.
00:02:56.000 Well, there's not a more strategic area to fight in than Arizona.
00:03:00.000 Arizona is the most strategic place, not just for 2022, which is the biggest battle in the Senate, but 2024, where, you know, it's argued, we've spent time on this.
00:03:11.000 There's four states that matter for the presidency in 2024.
00:03:15.000 And multiple of those states have Senate races again in them in 2024.
00:03:19.000 And they have Senate races today in 2022.
00:03:22.000 And we have to win and build the bench deep now.
00:03:25.000 And this Blake Masters win, which is inevitable at this point.
00:03:30.000 Look, the establishment doesn't want to wake up in January and have the grassroots say, you did nothing for us.
00:03:38.000 That's right.
00:03:39.000 And we still won.
00:03:40.000 And they don't want Senator Vance and Senator Masters.
00:03:43.000 And so I think they're, so let's just talk because some people say, oh, Blake's going to lose.
00:03:47.000 It doesn't look like that.
00:03:48.000 He's trending very well, right?
00:03:49.000 I mean, that's striking distance.
00:03:51.000 And Arizona is also a tricky state to poll.
00:03:53.000 In 16, they had Trump down in every poll and he ended up winning Arizona somewhat convincingly in 16.
00:03:58.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:03:59.000 And look, I think we're in a five-plus-five right now.
00:04:02.000 We keep talking about it.
00:04:03.000 We're at about a five-point margin on polling, you know, give or take.
00:04:08.000 And Carrie's right there.
00:04:09.000 You mentioned that.
00:04:10.000 I think Carrie's going to win by five or six points.
00:04:12.000 I don't want to be braggadocious, but it could be more than that.
00:04:14.000 Katie Hobbs is collapsing in real time.
00:04:16.000 Yeah, Katie Hobbs is an awful candidate, which is really a bad person, discriminatory, all those things, right?
00:04:23.000 Yeah.
00:04:24.000 Do betterazy.com.
00:04:25.000 Turning point pack is put out there.
00:04:27.000 It's really nice.
00:04:27.000 Do betterazy.com.
00:04:28.000 Yeah, we have billboards all across the state.
00:04:32.000 Just reminding people about how discriminatory Katie Hobbs is.
00:04:35.000 We're spending money at Turning Point Pack for these candidates.
00:04:37.000 We've spent more money than Mitch McConnell has in Arizona.
00:04:40.000 I don't know if that's true, but you know.
00:04:41.000 It's probably close.
00:04:42.000 Anyways, but here's the deal.
00:04:44.000 You can't go around telling donors forever that you're going to fight in the most strategic places and be the smartest entity for spending money and then not spend the money when push comes to shove over leadership battles.
00:04:57.000 And here's the facts: I have a lot of respect for the fights that happened in Washington, D.C. Leader McConnell did the right thing when it came to the Supreme Court battles.
00:05:10.000 This is on the same scale as the Supreme Court battle.
00:05:14.000 If we lose the Senate, we're going to be in a really bad position ahead of 2024.
00:05:19.000 But I think there's some surprises, right?
00:05:21.000 I think Herschel's going to win.
00:05:22.000 Ted Budd is going to win.
00:05:22.000 JD Vance is going to win.
00:05:23.000 Oz looks like he's got life.
00:05:25.000 Oz looks much better.
00:05:26.000 Oz is looking lively.
00:05:28.000 And that exchange that happened with him talking about his family was huge.
00:05:32.000 Very, very good.
00:05:32.000 And then Johnson, we were just in Wisconsin.
00:05:34.000 The energy is great on the ground.
00:05:36.000 Wisconsin?
00:05:37.000 We've been in Wisconsin four times this month.
00:05:39.000 A lot of work.
00:05:40.000 We have an incredible field staff that's there.
00:05:42.000 Brett Galazzo.
00:05:43.000 He does a great job.
00:05:44.000 Galaszzewski is incredible.
00:05:47.000 And I will tell you this.
00:05:49.000 You go through Wisconsin and you're like, how do these people ever vote for Democrats?
00:05:54.000 It's like.
00:05:54.000 We'll go to Madison.
00:05:56.000 I know, but like, no, throughout the state, the vast majority of the state, even like deep into Milwaukee, you're like, man, this just feels like a Republican state.
00:06:03.000 This is a conservative place.
00:06:05.000 I totally agree.
00:06:06.000 And by the way, Johnson gets the state.
00:06:08.000 He really does.
00:06:08.000 Yeah.
00:06:09.000 He's great.
00:06:09.000 Well, he's a real Wisconsin.
00:06:10.000 Yeah, there is a chance.
00:06:11.000 And I mean, I was saying this earlier.
00:06:14.000 The Democrat entire messaging is imploding.
00:06:16.000 Abortion is going down and down and down on the priority.
00:06:19.000 The economy, unfortunately, is collapsing.
00:06:22.000 OPEC is, you know.
00:06:24.000 Yeah, which I have a whole theory on how actually I think the Saudis are trying to get Democrats out of the way.
00:06:29.000 And I have a whole, you know, we haven't talked about that.
00:06:31.000 I don't support foreign interference in elections.
00:06:33.000 It's just the truth.
00:06:33.000 I think the Saudis are trying to stick it to Biden.
00:06:35.000 They don't like him at all because they're about to certify an Iran deal and all that sort of stuff.
00:06:39.000 But in closing here, Tyler, tpaction.com, at least for this hour, let's kind of just put a button on this: tpaction.com.
00:06:45.000 And you're feeling better, but people have got to get to work.
00:06:47.000 How many doors have you knocked on?
00:06:48.000 It should be the question, precinct, all that.
00:06:50.000 15 seconds.
00:06:51.000 We've got to recruit.
00:06:52.000 If you're not a precinct committee man, you need to become one in your state, particularly Arizona.
00:06:56.000 And we need you to come to Arizona.
00:06:58.000 If you don't, if you haven't, come to Arizona, help us knock some doors.
00:07:01.000 If you can spend a weekend just knocking doors in Arizona, we will take you.
00:07:05.000 We will bring in, we will feed you, we will clothe you, we will house you, and we will give you the materials to knock doors.
00:07:11.000 So please do.
00:07:12.000 Yeah.
00:07:12.000 And look, knocking on doors wins wars.
00:07:15.000 It's that simple.
00:07:16.000 So if you live in Oregon, you're like, oh, there's nothing I do.
00:07:18.000 Actually, you had a governor's race in Oregon.
00:07:19.000 That's not true.
00:07:20.000 But I don't know.
00:07:20.000 Maybe you live in a state where there's nothing competitive.
00:07:25.000 Look, in the good old days, we Americans argued about which policies to pursue to improve this beautiful country.
00:07:31.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:07:32.000 Too often, we find ourselves arguing about whether or not America is great or not, or whether we should be ashamed or whether we should love America.
00:07:39.000 The reason for this is simple.
00:07:41.000 For too many years, too many of our schools have been neglecting to teach young people about our great heritage of liberty, presenting them instead a dishonest narrative of America as a fundamentally unjust or racist country.
00:07:52.000 Hillsdale College is winning in for America, the wonderful Hillsdale College, by offering a free online course, such as The Great American Story, A Land of Hope, Constitution 101, The Meaning of a History of the Constitution.
00:08:04.000 As we get closer to Constitution Day, September 17th, I encourage all of you to enroll in one of these wonderful free courses from Hillsdale.
00:08:11.000 And even better, encourage your friends and family to sign up too.
00:08:14.000 Begin your Hillsdale course today at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:08:17.000 That is charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:08:19.000 Check it out, charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:08:24.000 What's interesting, I go back to Arizona also.
00:08:27.000 And Trump, it's so easy to dismiss.
00:08:30.000 He's crazy.
00:08:31.000 He's racist.
00:08:32.000 He's all these things.
00:08:34.000 And then when we have some of these better package candidates, you kind of go, wait a second.
00:08:40.000 If that's a message that's winning, that's where this country is.
00:08:44.000 I've been focused on the border since day one.
00:08:47.000 Okay.
00:08:48.000 To no great effect because we have a wide open southern border.
00:08:50.000 So if that's the best you can do, I respectfully request you resign.
00:08:53.000 Let's get someone in the seat who will actually secure our border.
00:08:57.000 Mark Kelly, if this is the result of Senator Kelly being focused on the border, my gosh, he's the most ineffective and worst senator of all time.
00:09:04.000 You or did you not vote to reject 18,000 more border patrol agents in the Inflation Reduction Act passage?
00:09:11.000 He's the 50th vote in the U.S. Senate.
00:09:13.000 Joe Biden needed his vote.
00:09:14.000 Mark Kelly a year ago could have dug his heels in and said, Mr. President, I'm not supporting a single thing, not a single spending bill, not a single piece of your agenda.
00:09:23.000 You never have to wonder which way Senator Kelly is going to vote because any spending bill that Biden puts in front of him, he will sign.
00:09:29.000 So yeah, we got the Inflation Reduction Act, and Mark Kelly was the deciding vote.
00:09:32.000 He hired 87,000 new IRS agents.
00:09:36.000 Mark Kelly voted to send stimulus checks to illegal aliens.
00:09:40.000 He voted to send stimulus checks to get this: violent felons sitting in jail.
00:09:45.000 Is that a good use of taxpayer money?
00:09:47.000 I don't think so.
00:09:48.000 Let's be clear: the greatest threat to seniors' retirement today is the massive, crushing inflation that Joe Biden and Mark Kelly caused.
00:09:58.000 He's called abortion demonic, a religious sacrifice.
00:10:02.000 I don't even know what that means, folks.
00:10:04.000 And the only countries in the whole world that support Senator Kelly's preferred no-limits extreme abortion policy are China and North Korea.
00:10:15.000 That sounds like a senator.
00:10:17.000 Yeah.
00:10:18.000 Blake crushed it last night.
00:10:20.000 And it's not just us that think it.
00:10:22.000 It's the whole conservative universe.
00:10:25.000 If you watch some very critical people, we're like, oh my goodness, Blake Masters is the greatest Senate candidate we have in the Republican.
00:10:32.000 Too bad we don't get more debates.
00:10:33.000 It seems as if that's the strategy.
00:10:34.000 Tyler Boyer is here.
00:10:35.000 If you're just tuning in from TurningPointAction, TPATION.com.
00:10:39.000 Also, Turning Point Pack.
00:10:40.000 Tyler's doing a great job running both of them.
00:10:42.000 But joining us on the program is the next senator from the great state of Arizona who had a phenomenal night.
00:10:46.000 I think he's going to get a huge surge from that.
00:10:49.000 And a lot of outside money is pouring in.
00:10:50.000 Blake Masters.
00:10:51.000 Blake, congratulations on a great debate.
00:10:53.000 That's not easy.
00:10:54.000 Good job.
00:10:55.000 It was fun.
00:10:56.000 You know, all I had to do was go out and tell the truth.
00:10:59.000 And, you know, Charlie, Tyler, do you almost feel bad for Mark Kelly?
00:11:03.000 Because what's he supposed to do?
00:11:04.000 His record is indefensible.
00:11:06.000 So we kind of had a feeling, yeah, he was going to struggle to defend it.
00:11:10.000 Yeah.
00:11:10.000 And I mean, this tweet from Tom Bevin, who I consider to be a very fair-minded guy from Real Code Politics, it's over.
00:11:16.000 I'm not sure how many people watched or will watch how much it will matter, but Masters was the clear winner of the debate.
00:11:23.000 Kelly made his points on abortion and social security, but Masters simply crushed him on inflation and illegal immigration.
00:11:29.000 I thought you made a really good point there where you were kind of in a very strategic way contrasting him with cinema.
00:11:37.000 And again, we're no fans of cinema here, but you were saying he could have been like a cinema-esque figure and said, Biden, I'm not going to vote for anything if it wasn't for border security.
00:11:44.000 Blake, I thought that was very effective.
00:11:46.000 What's the response been so far?
00:11:48.000 It's been good.
00:11:49.000 You know, I think we surprised a lot of people, especially people in DC who, you know, might have been tempted to ride off Arizona.
00:11:58.000 But nope, the more money Mark Kelly spends telling lies, the closer I get in the polls.
00:12:02.000 A poll just came out yesterday that had me down one.
00:12:04.000 Down one point right there.
00:12:06.000 I mean, it's neck and neck.
00:12:08.000 And I think last night, voters in Arizona and people are around the country, really, they saw this clear contrast.
00:12:14.000 Mark Kelly, like, I don't know, he might be a nice guy.
00:12:16.000 Like, I got to chat with him for 30 seconds before the debate, you know, but who cares?
00:12:21.000 That's not good enough.
00:12:22.000 He has been a rubber stamp for Joe Biden's policies.
00:12:26.000 I think I articulated this last night.
00:12:27.000 These policies have clearly failed working-class families, middle-class families in Arizona, and it's ruining our state.
00:12:35.000 And so I have a problem with that.
00:12:36.000 And I have a clear alternative.
00:12:38.000 And so I think people have a real sense of what's at stake in this election.
00:12:42.000 People are waking up and understanding that Mark Kelly is Joe Biden.
00:12:46.000 Yes, that's right.
00:12:46.000 They're one in the same.
00:12:48.000 Yeah, it's a third senator for California and a third senator for New York.
00:12:52.000 Tyler, your thoughts.
00:12:52.000 Well, yeah, Blake, I think you showed the clear contrast that he knows nothing about Arizona when it came to specific topics when he got off script about water issues.
00:13:03.000 I thought that was so crazy last night.
00:13:05.000 You had the libertarian, who is such a sham, saying that we shouldn't grow our own food basically in Arizona, which was the craziest thing I've ever heard come out of a libertarian's mouth that we shouldn't be self-reliant.
00:13:16.000 Yeah, right.
00:13:16.000 That's the new libertarian party.
00:13:18.000 Let's be different.
00:13:19.000 So the libertarian in the state believes that we should get our food from somewhere else.
00:13:23.000 He's a Democrat operative running as a libertarian to try to destroy Blake Masters' chance.
00:13:27.000 It also makes no sense, of course.
00:13:28.000 Like it's not just about feeding Arizona.
00:13:31.000 Apparently, that guy doesn't know that 90% of all the lettuce eaten in the whole United States in the winter comes from Yuma County.
00:13:38.000 Yes.
00:13:38.000 That's right.
00:13:39.000 Well, Democrats don't want us to eat it all.
00:13:41.000 Democrats just want us to starve.
00:13:42.000 They want us to eat bugs and starve.
00:13:44.000 But, you know, I thought the contrast was so clear with that.
00:13:47.000 What are some of your thoughts on specifically these issues that are deep issues that are deep rooted in Arizona that Mark Kelly from Houston doesn't understand at all or seems to not understand at all as you as you took him down that path?
00:13:59.000 Well, you know, we put him in a tough spot on the border.
00:14:02.000 I asked him that very simple question: like, Senator Kelly, have you done everything in your power these last two years to secure the border?
00:14:10.000 And I think it was a clever question, but it wasn't a gotcha question because it's just honest.
00:14:16.000 But hey, what's he supposed to say?
00:14:17.000 Yes, I've done everything I can.
00:14:19.000 Well, okay, congratulations.
00:14:20.000 Not good enough.
00:14:21.000 You're a failure.
00:14:22.000 And that's the direction he went.
00:14:24.000 The other direction would have been like to admit, no, I haven't done everything I can.
00:14:27.000 But then it's like, how can you even face the voters in Arizona?
00:14:32.000 Like, he's just not trying.
00:14:33.000 And of course, that's the real answer.
00:14:35.000 He just doesn't care about border security.
00:14:37.000 He cares about what Chuck Schumer tells him to do.
00:14:40.000 Right.
00:14:41.000 And what's so terrible about the entire thing is that, you know, they just get up and repeat the same old things that are not working.
00:14:48.000 By the way, you just mentioned this.
00:14:50.000 The more money they spend on these lies and attacks, the higher you're rising in the polls.
00:14:54.000 Yeah, it actually boosts Blake's name ID.
00:14:56.000 Yeah, because people just don't believe it.
00:14:58.000 So he had an opportunity, I think, to come in and say something different, and he didn't.
00:15:02.000 And so I think that's why he won resoundingly last night, which is incredible.
00:15:06.000 Yeah.
00:15:06.000 And Blake, I want to give you a chance to clarify.
00:15:07.000 I mean, Mark Kelly is a dishonest hack with DC consultants.
00:15:10.000 I totally agree with Tyler.
00:15:11.000 His lack of understanding of the water issues in Arizona show you that he's really not a senator for Arizona because it's a massive crisis here, especially with the population growth.
00:15:19.000 It needs to be solved.
00:15:20.000 But Blake, can you just clear up for our audience the social security thing?
00:15:24.000 Because even I got an email right here.
00:15:25.000 She says, Charlie, I'm a Republican, but I'm not sure about Blake because I keep on seeing ads about the Social Security.
00:15:30.000 This is one of the great dishonest moves of the left.
00:15:32.000 Blake, you love Social Security.
00:15:34.000 You want to expand it.
00:15:35.000 It's a beautiful thing.
00:15:36.000 You were just making a comment about solvency.
00:15:38.000 Here's a chance for you to talk about that.
00:15:39.000 Blake, what is your position?
00:15:41.000 Oh, absolutely.
00:15:42.000 Social Security is crucial.
00:15:44.000 We're never going to cut Social Security.
00:15:46.000 We will never pull the rug out from our seniors.
00:15:49.000 Period.
00:15:49.000 I'm looking for ways to save the system so that it can be around for my kids and grandkids, right?
00:15:56.000 We can never cut.
00:15:56.000 It's politicians like Mark Kelly who get in there and they can't stop spending money.
00:16:01.000 They're the ones that are threatening the system.
00:16:04.000 And so we're never going to cut it.
00:16:05.000 I think we should encourage young people to save with tax-advantaged accounts and all this, supplemental to the social security system.
00:16:11.000 But no, Mark Kelly's lying.
00:16:13.000 And look, I understand why he wants to lie about my position.
00:16:16.000 It's because he's got a guilty conscience.
00:16:17.000 He knows what he's done.
00:16:19.000 Yes.
00:16:19.000 Mark Kelly and Joe Biden are threatening seniors' retirements by having created this crushing inflation.
00:16:26.000 And it's his fault.
00:16:26.000 It's his fault that seniors are struggling in Arizona.
00:16:29.000 Full stop.
00:16:29.000 He knows it.
00:16:30.000 So it's just classic Democrat.
00:16:31.000 I think that's right.
00:16:32.000 Mark Kelly does look like a guy who hates himself.
00:16:34.000 I think he actually knows that he's done so much damage to Arizona.
00:16:38.000 He didn't look like a confident person.
00:16:39.000 He didn't look like a courageous astronaut to me, right?
00:16:42.000 He looked like a deep state bureaucrat.
00:16:43.000 Tyler, your thoughts.
00:16:44.000 Well, and to your point, Blake, young people are not putting more money in their pockets as baby boomers did, as even Gen Xers did, right?
00:16:53.000 Like my parents were old Gen Xers.
00:16:55.000 They had a lot more money and they were a lot more capable of saving money for the future.
00:17:01.000 And that's not just the Social Security thing.
00:17:03.000 Like you said, that's a supplemental future retirement thing.
00:17:07.000 And we are in it.
00:17:07.000 We're in a dangerous spot now at this point.
00:17:11.000 And we appreciate you being honest with the public about it.
00:17:14.000 It's BlakeMasters.com, BlakeMasters.com.
00:17:17.000 He needs to raise more money.
00:17:18.000 Again, this race can flip.
00:17:19.000 I'll tell you, Blake will be an unbelievable fighter in the U.S. Senate.
00:17:23.000 The trend is our friend.
00:17:24.000 The Democrats are collapsing in front of our eyes.
00:17:26.000 And Blake, I think you make a really smart point.
00:17:28.000 Inflation is robbing security by another means because if the dollar weakens, then all of a sudden that $2,500 or $3,100 a month that seniors are living on, that purchasing power gets destroyed.
00:17:39.000 It gets obliterated.
00:17:41.000 And so that is him cutting Social Security through another means.
00:17:44.000 It's a backdoor scissors to Social Security, is what it is.
00:17:49.000 Very smart take, Blake.
00:17:50.000 I think fixed income loses the most under inflation.
00:17:54.000 It really does.
00:17:57.000 Look, I don't feel too good about the coming months and years.
00:18:00.000 Do you?
00:18:01.000 That's why now is the perfect time to stock up on emergency food.
00:18:04.000 You're probably going to need very, very soon.
00:18:06.000 Listen, emergency food is not for the paranoid.
00:18:09.000 It is for the prudent.
00:18:10.000 My Patriot Supply is the nation's largest preparedness company.
00:18:13.000 They're currently offering a generous 20% discount on their popular three-month emergency food kit.
00:18:19.000 This kit gives you a wide variety of delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinners, snacks, and more, totaling over 2,000 calories a day.
00:18:26.000 It feeds one person for three solid months, but this sale ends soon.
00:18:30.000 Go to preparewithkirk.com right now and grab your 20% savings off a three-month kit.
00:18:36.000 This is an affordable way to build your emergency food stockpile while you still can.
00:18:40.000 If the day ever comes when you need to fall back on this food, it will be worth much more than what you paid.
00:18:45.000 I promise.
00:18:45.000 Go to preparewithkirk.com.
00:18:47.000 That is preparewithkirk.com, preparewithkirk.com.
00:18:54.000 And so you look at the top issues: inflation, crime, elections, and voting, jobs, unemployment, immigration infrastructure, abortion ranks one, two, three, four, five, six, seven on the list.
00:19:04.000 You know, Mark Kelly really was, he wasn't able to give you an answer, Blake, was he, about how he decided not to vote for more Border Patrol agents.
00:19:12.000 It's a huge issue here.
00:19:14.000 I mean, how are you going to pin that on him in the next 30 days?
00:19:18.000 He has a lot of money.
00:19:19.000 How are you going to get the message out?
00:19:21.000 Well, we're raising money.
00:19:22.000 We're on TV with an ad actually right now that hits him on that.
00:19:26.000 The ad is, you know, literally sitting at the kitchen table with my two-year-old.
00:19:31.000 And I just go through.
00:19:33.000 Mark Kelly rejected 18,000 more Border Patrol agents because what he really wanted, what he said yes to, was 87,000 more IRS agents.
00:19:42.000 And I think it's a pretty good ad.
00:19:44.000 I think it's still a really crazy, but true thing that happened.
00:19:48.000 It's like the Democrats caused a recession and then their fix for it is to tax you more, spend $700 billion and hire more tax collectors.
00:19:56.000 You almost really just couldn't even make it up.
00:19:59.000 And so I think getting that message out, it percolates, it sits with people and kind of reminds them, yeah, everything sucks right now.
00:20:07.000 It's the Democrats' fault.
00:20:08.000 And that's why people want to make a change.
00:20:10.000 Blake, I love your ads, by the way.
00:20:13.000 I think they're some of the best that have ever been really released amongst candidates with you and your family and your home.
00:20:20.000 And all these series of ads, I think, really make it.
00:20:23.000 I've had friends that are millennials, like we are, that are younger that have said, wow, that's actually made a difference.
00:20:31.000 I think that message that you're delivering of, you know, what are we going to do?
00:20:35.000 What are we going to tell our kids in 20 years when we look back and say we didn't fight for them?
00:20:42.000 Can you give a little bit more depth to that, especially with this ad you're talking about with the border?
00:20:47.000 Like what, yeah, talk a little bit to maybe some millennial families, you know, 30s and 40-year-olds that are maybe first-time voters really and paying attention to center races.
00:20:58.000 Well, yeah, you know, I think most politicians just sound fake all the time, unfortunately, whether they're giving a stem speech or whether they're in your living room advertising on TV.
00:21:10.000 It's just very scripted, right?
00:21:11.000 Because there's a handful of firms that usually write, write the copy and then the candidate says the thing.
00:21:16.000 And it's just, it's a little bit rinse and repeat.
00:21:18.000 And so we've always tried to take a different approach where, hey, look, I'm a real guy.
00:21:22.000 I'm not a politician, right?
00:21:23.000 I had a business career that I put on pause, but mainly I'm a dad.
00:21:27.000 You know, mainly I'm just trying to make it work, make family life work and raise three boys.
00:21:33.000 And I feel like I can relate to people in similar situations.
00:21:39.000 And it's not easy for anyone in this country.
00:21:41.000 I mean, I've been blessed.
00:21:42.000 I've worked hard and succeeded.
00:21:44.000 But I feel like, no, I'm in touch with our generation, millennials, right?
00:21:49.000 We have a long runway ahead in this country, but we're not children anymore.
00:21:52.000 In fact, a lot of us are having children.
00:21:54.000 And the problems that our families are facing because of Joe Biden, I mean, it just boils my blood.
00:22:00.000 So it's a pleasure to get out there in the political arena, but also talk like a normal person and say, hi, I want my, water came up in the debate last night, right?
00:22:09.000 It's an important issue.
00:22:11.000 I want my boys to be able to stay and choose to live in Arizona when they're my age in 30 years.
00:22:18.000 And you get the sense that too many of our political leaders, they're just not even thinking about five years down the road, let alone 30 years, right?
00:22:25.000 But when you have kids, it changes your time horizons.
00:22:29.000 It changes the way you think.
00:22:30.000 And so I think getting more young parents into politics would be a really good thing.
00:22:35.000 And so we just try to show glimpses of our family life and talk honestly about the issues.
00:22:38.000 And I'm glad to hear it's resonating with voters.
00:22:41.000 Well, and I'll tell you, as a dad, of three kids too, similar to you, where it's just like, you know, we're just trying to get by, getting our kids taught and schooling them and taking them to practice and to getting dinner on the table every day.
00:22:55.000 Yeah, this gas and groceries issue is number one for people our age.
00:23:02.000 I mean, it's crazy that it was clear last night in the debate that Mark Kelly had no understanding of that at all.
00:23:09.000 I'll say this, and Dennis Prager has been so helpful in this.
00:23:12.000 He has a great talk on this.
00:23:14.000 I want everyone in Arizona to hear this and send this clip.
00:23:17.000 People say all the time, well, Mark Kelly's a nice guy.
00:23:20.000 Nice people could do a lot of damage.
00:23:22.000 I don't care if he's nice.
00:23:24.000 He votes terribly.
00:23:25.000 He's done a lot of damage to this country.
00:23:27.000 I couldn't care less if he's a sweet person.
00:23:30.000 He's done a lot of damage to the state of Arizona.
00:23:32.000 Nice people, if they're not morally centered, they can wreak havoc on a civilization.
00:23:38.000 And that's Mark Kelly.
00:23:38.000 We need to fix it.
00:23:39.000 BlakeMasters.com.
00:23:40.000 Blake, wonderful job.
00:23:42.000 Keep the pressure on.
00:23:43.000 Come back on our program next week.
00:23:45.000 We're 32 days out.
00:23:46.000 Keep going, Blake.
00:23:47.000 You got the wind at your back.
00:23:48.000 Absolutely.
00:23:48.000 Ballots out in five days.
00:23:51.000 You're peaking at the right time.
00:23:52.000 It's really good.
00:23:53.000 Thank you, Blake.
00:23:54.000 Talk to you soon.
00:23:54.000 Take care.
00:23:55.000 Five days, right, Tyler, to ballots.
00:23:56.000 Got it.
00:23:57.000 Five days.
00:23:57.000 We're out.
00:23:58.000 October 12th.
00:23:59.000 That's actually good.
