00:00:27.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:29.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:35.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks!

00:00:38.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:01:26.000 The Unity Party is ascendant and we must defeat Team Blue.

00:01:32.000 Turning Point Action registered hundreds of people at the Donald Trump rally.

00:01:36.000 Can we just put a picture here?

00:01:37.000 I just want you to understand before we get to Bacha, Great American.

00:01:41.000 I just want you guys to understand, this is the rally last week.

00:01:44.000 You would imagine that every single person attending this rally is registered to vote.

00:01:50.000 Nope.

00:01:51.000 Hundreds of people that even show up to a Trump rally are not registered to vote.

00:01:54.000 Now, to be fair, some of them are registered to vote in irrelevant states like Colorado and California, and they've recently moved to Arizona and they haven't yet switched their registration.

00:02:02.000 We did that.

00:02:04.000 We will get the final number, but we have registered.

00:02:06.000 We registered hundreds of new voters.

00:02:08.000 Every MAGA rally in the country, we need to have voter registration happening on the ground.

00:02:13.000 Joining us now is Batya Ungar-Sargon, opinion editor of Newsweek, author of Second Class.

00:02:20.000 Batya, welcome to the program.

00:02:21.000 Your reaction to RFK embracing and endorsing Donald Trump and the combination forces of populism against the oligarchy?

00:02:30.000 Thank you so much for having me, Charlie, and thank you for all of the work that you do for this great nation.

00:02:35.000 I'm always in awe of you and how much you're putting in on so many fronts, so thank you for all of that.

00:02:43.000 Let me tell you my first thought when I saw RFK Jr.

00:02:46.000 up there on that stage with Donald Trump.

00:02:48.000 I thought to myself, RFK Jr.

00:02:51.000 is going to provide America with a lens through which we can more accurately understand what the Donald Trump presidency is all about, which is what you exactly said, which is this is the unity candidate.

00:03:08.000 If Donald Trump were being accurately perceived based on his policies alone, without the constant lying from the Democratic media, We would all be able to see that he is running a consensus campaign on the issues alone.

00:03:25.000 You look at where he is.

00:03:27.000 Donald Trump has laid out a position on every issue that is where 65% of Americans are at.

00:03:34.000 And this is simply invisible because of the massive amount of lying about him that goes on in the Democratic media.

00:03:42.000 And what RFK Jr.

00:03:43.000 has done is by standing next to him, RFK Jr.

00:03:46.000 Who is pro-choice, who is pro-environment, who wants to make America healthy again, cares a lot about healthcare.

00:03:55.000 What he's done is, is he has sort of filled out the image of Donald Trump to where we can now accurately see that this is not about left versus right.

00:04:04.000 This is about a multiracial working class agenda to elevate America versus the oligarchy of the left.

00:04:13.000 Yeah, and so this is such an exciting moment.

00:04:16.000 We have Tulsi Gabbard, we have Elon Musk, who interestingly is kind of that oligarch mold, but he's a class traitor.

00:04:22.000 That's what you kind of see as a common theme. 0.87

00:04:25.000 Kennedy from Hyannisport, Massachusetts, class traitor. 0.99

00:04:27.000 Trump from High Society, New York, class traitor.

00:04:30.000 And in order to have a successful populist rebellion, you need bottom-up and just a couple people that were once part of that said oligarchy to defect and to represent the needs, wants, and interests of workers.

00:04:44.000 Can you expand on that?

00:04:46.000 Yeah, definitely.

00:04:47.000 I think it's not just top down, but also bottom up.

00:04:50.000 I don't know if you saw, there was a very viral video of a young woman who was a volunteer at the DNC, which I was also at.

00:04:58.000 And what she pointed out was something that I also noticed, which is, How absolutely astronomically wealthy all of the speakers at the DNC were.

00:05:09.000 You had people who were millionaires and billionaires, celebrities, movie stars, musicians, the Obamas, right?

00:05:17.000 People with a net worth of 50 million, 100 million dollars.

00:05:22.000 I mean, if you combine the net worth of all of the people who spoke at the DNC, it would be more than the GDP of many small countries.

00:05:30.000 And she was pointing this out, this volunteer who said that she has been a Democrat her whole life, and she simply could not connect to what was going on at the DNC.

00:05:39.000 She felt like it was, you had these boxes that were for sale around the top of the arena for $500,000, and she said you had the rich people literally looking down at the delegates, at the average Americans, You know, as I put it in my piece, it's the sort of let them eat joy campaign, right?

00:05:59.000 The vibes campaign.

00:06:00.000 They are offering working class people who are struggling to feed their families the joy of the rich and powerful in exchange for their votes.

00:06:10.000 And so I think this is becoming really, really obvious.

00:06:14.000 And the contrast with the RNC, I mean, every minute of the RNC, You knew, if you were a struggling American, what Donald Trump was going to do on day one to make your life materially better, to make it easier for you to get to church and back, to make it easier for you to feed your family, you know, protein on a regular basis.

00:06:35.000 That conscience is becoming very, very, very stark, and I think the addition of Bobby Kennedy Jr.

00:06:40.000 to the Trump ticket has really added to it.

00:06:43.000 And so, let's talk about that.

00:06:44.000 The DNC was all vibes, all emotion, all feelings.

00:06:49.000 Dare I say, and I mean no offense, hyper-feminine.

00:06:52.000 It was not rooted in any sort of policy or substance.

00:06:58.000 It seemed to have no concern about the suffering of the country.

00:07:02.000 It still might work, but Batya, it was the opposite of populism.

00:07:06.000 It was, you can say it's elitism, but it was so condescending, it's as if we're going to have our high society party when the rest of the country, in every single poll, in every conversation, 75% of the country is significantly suffering economically.

00:07:24.000 They cannot pay their medical debt, they cannot pay for groceries, They cannot afford homes.

00:07:30.000 But at the same time, the Democrat Joy Party might work because there's a corporate media infrastructure with its organs all over American society that have a lot of power. 0.59

00:07:44.000 How do we defeat the vibes of the Democrat Party?

00:07:47.000 It's a really important question.

00:07:49.000 It's the media, but it's also the fact that their base is rich people and rich people vote because they have time to.

00:07:54.000 They have time to think about this.

00:07:56.000 They have time to watch MSNBC all day.

00:07:58.000 It's just a known fact that people who are rich engage more politically.

00:08:04.000 And that's why I think what you're doing, Charlie, is so freaking important because You are bringing it to the average American, to the working class American, to people who don't necessarily have the luxury to sit around watching cable news all day, but they know that they can come here and hear you talk about the plunder of the working class by these over-credentialed college elites who are the Democrats' base.

00:08:28.000 I think you're totally right.

00:08:30.000 You know, we make fun of Kamala Harris not engaging with the press. 1.00

00:08:33.000 We make fun of Kamala Harris for not having any policy agenda to help working class Americans. 1.00

00:08:38.000 It's not just funny and ridiculous. 0.88

00:08:41.000 It is outrageous. 0.97

00:08:43.000 It is an outrage to take the stage at the end of the DNC and talk about your family

00:08:49.000 for half an hour and talk about how you're going to make this country better without

00:08:54.000 offering a single policy proposal.

00:08:56.000 We should just take it on faith from one of the biggest flip floppers this country has

00:09:00.000 ever seen, a person who say whatever she thinks the base of her party wants to hear.

00:09:06.000 So I think it is extremely important to keep driving home the case that there are two options

00:09:13.000 There is the vibes of the wealthy or there is the policy of the working class.

00:09:18.000 That is really the choice in this election.

00:09:21.000 So, Batya, you are supporting Donald Trump.

00:09:23.000 Is that fair to say?

00:09:25.000 And is that correct?

00:09:27.000 I don't want to put words in your mouth.

00:09:28.000 You know, I'm still undecided because she came out with this policy proposal where she was talking about sort of price controls.

00:09:35.000 And I know everybody really doesn't like price controls, but that kind of when she said that, when she came out with her economic agenda, I thought, OK, all right, we're going to have you know, we're going to have now You have an election on the issues.

00:09:48.000 You have the Democrats' model, which is the sort of redistributionist model, where they're going to say, okay, we're going to raise taxes on the wealthy.

00:09:55.000 We're going to do price controls.

00:09:57.000 We're going to try to get inflation down, right?

00:09:59.000 That's an option.

00:10:00.000 And then you have the Donald Trump option, which is the protectionist model, which says, no, we don't go at it by, you know, raising taxes on the rich and then giving that out to the working class.

00:10:10.000 They don't want the taxes of rich people, right?

00:10:13.000 They want their labor to reward them with the most modest version of the American dream.

00:10:18.000 That's the Trump model, is you protect the dignity of the labor of working class people, and then you allow them to have more of their money, keep more of their money, and then buy the things that they need.

00:10:28.000 And I thought, okay, great, let's see how this plays out.

00:10:31.000 And at the time, I thought, wow, she has a real chance at this point, right?

00:10:35.000 It seems sort of like things were going in her direction.

00:10:37.000 I have to say, after the DNC, I do feel that, you know, things are sort of moving more in Donald Trump's favor again, because it was so light on policy, because there was so little there that a struggling American could sort of sink their teeth into.

00:10:52.000 Batya, thank you so much.

00:10:53.000 Hope Donald Trump wins your vote.

00:10:55.000 Thank you.

00:10:58.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here as we gear up for another important election year.

00:11:01.000 Remember that we vote every day with our dollar.

00:11:04.000 One of the best ways to support America is by buying from local farms and ranches.

00:11:08.000 Good Ranchers makes this easy by delivering 100% American meat to your door.

00:11:12.000 When you shop with Good Ranchers, you're not just getting the best meat for your family, but also supporting American farmers and ranchers.

00:11:18.000 This year, instead of buying imported meat, cast your vote for American agriculture and local economy.

00:11:24.000 I've used Good Ranchers meat for quite some time and they never disappoint.

00:11:27.000 Whatever your choice of protein, you'll be pleased if you cast a vote for Good Ranchers.

00:11:32.000 Use code KIRK for $25 off your order and your choice of free chicken breasts, ground beef, bacon, or wild-caught salmon for a year.

00:11:39.000 It's time to make a stand.

00:11:40.000 Vote for American meat with Good Ranchers. 0.90

00:11:41.000 Your purchase helps keep American farms thriving and ensures you get the highest quality meat for your family.

00:11:47.000 I love Good Ranchers.

00:11:48.000 You should check it out right now at GoodRanchers.com.

00:11:51.000 Use promo code KIRK.

00:11:52.000 That is GoodRanchers.com.

00:11:54.000 Check it out right now.

00:11:55.000 Promo code KIRK.

00:11:58.000 Alright everybody, we have a fight on our hands.

00:11:59.000 This is not going to be easy, but I feel much better about our chances after Friday.

00:12:05.000 Seeing RFK on stage with Donald Trump, it's a game changer.

00:12:07.000 Changes the ballots, changes the polling, changes the probability.

00:12:11.000 Shows that we have an ascendant movement.

00:12:15.000 It's a morale high and honestly a morale boost that we could just kind of put Chicago in the rearview mirror.

00:12:20.000 It's brilliant.

00:12:21.000 And credit to the Trump campaign team.

00:12:22.000 By the way, you know they did this by one day?

00:12:24.000 By one day they were able to get RFK to submit his paperwork to Arizona and he took off.

00:12:30.000 He's no longer on the ballot in Arizona.

00:12:32.000 It's massive.

00:12:34.000 Arizona is probably the state where RFK was strongest.

00:12:36.000 A lot of independent voters, a lot of Maha voters, a lot of women that don't like Trump but they cannot stand Democrats. 0.66

00:12:42.000 A lot of people that do not follow the entire vaccination schedule.

00:12:46.000 RFK has a huge following in Arizona, and I am proud to announce we are going to be doing health-focused summits and events with RFK in Arizona from now to the election.

00:12:58.000 Mom-centered, people-centered, health-centered, MAHA events, Make America Healthy Again, with RFK and with female influencers.

00:13:09.000 The data is in.

00:13:11.000 We got some serious problems with this data.

00:13:13.000 We were looking at this yesterday.

00:13:15.000 Now, this is from the New York Times, Sienna, but it is directionally correct because of the breakdown.

00:13:20.000 Gen Z women are favoring Kamala Harris by nearly 40 points. 0.89

00:13:25.000 Gen Z men are favoring Trump by about 15 points, which is really, really good. 1.00

00:13:29.000 That is very good.

00:13:31.000 Millennial men favor Trump by 15 points.

00:13:34.000 Millennial women, they favor Harris by a little under 20 points. 1.00

00:13:39.000 Now if I were to ask you, what generation is Trump strongest at?

00:13:45.000 Where is Donald Trump the strongest?

00:13:47.000 It is not Baby Boomers. 0.97

00:13:49.000 It is Gen X. And that is something we have been saying on this program for quite some time.

00:13:54.000 The rise of Gen X. Gen X are the kids of the Vietnam era. 0.86

00:13:59.000 So they were born during the Vietnam era.

00:14:03.000 That's when they were born.

00:14:04.000 And they have been passed over.

00:14:06.000 By boomers, they've been living in the shadow of the baby boomer generation their entire life. 0.86

00:14:12.000 They're born between 1965 and 1980.

00:14:14.000 Gen X is by far the most conservative generation in America.

00:14:22.000 Gen X men favor Donald Trump by 20 points.

00:14:27.000 Gen X women, ages 45 to 64, favor Kamala Harris by only about 5 points. 0.91

00:14:34.000 Now, ages 65+, Baby Boomers.

00:14:39.000 Now, again, this polling could be a little off, but it's directionally correct because you know this by the breakdown of Gen Z. Baby Boomer women favor Kamala Harris by 20 points. 1.00

00:14:48.000 I think that's a little bit generous, but that is a fire alarm if true.

00:14:53.000 Said differently, baby boomer women, according to this gender gap poll with eight categories by the New York Times-Siena, baby boomer women are the second most liberal female category, even more liberal than millennial women.

00:15:09.000 We can do a lot better with baby boomer women. 1.00

00:15:11.000 Baby boomer men? 0.91

00:15:12.000 Congratulations.

00:15:14.000 Very conservative.

00:15:16.000 Sort of.

00:15:17.000 According to this poll, Gen Z men are more conservative than baby boomer men.

00:15:23.000 According to this poll, millennial men are more conservative than baby boomer men.

00:15:29.000 Let me just make a plea for our wonderful baby boomers in the audience.

00:15:32.000 Please fix this.

00:15:33.000 Please.

00:15:35.000 If this ends up being correct, if this manifests in reality, we will not win.

00:15:40.000 I'm just going to be as blunt as I possibly can.

00:15:43.000 I don't think this poll is correct.

00:15:45.000 They oversampled Democrats.

00:15:47.000 The New York Times-Siena poll had us down 5 in Arizona.

00:15:49.000 That is not correct, okay?

00:15:51.000 We might not win Arizona.

00:15:52.000 I hope we do.

00:15:53.000 Down 5.

00:15:54.000 No universe is that going to happen.

00:15:56.000 A picture of reality right now.

00:15:58.000 But, baby boomer women and Gen Z women, according to this sample survey, because it's directionally correct, are the most liberal women in the country. 0.99

00:16:08.000 And you just gotta love the Gen X women. 1.00

00:16:10.000 The Gen X women almost might vote Majority Trump. 1.00

00:16:15.000 What if Gen Z men, millennial men, and Gen X just, if Gen X runs the table, and women and men end up favoring Trump, and men end up going 25 plus, you know, 30 plus in Trump's direction?

00:16:31.000 Gen X could save this country.

00:16:33.000 Who is Gen X if you are ages 45 to 64?

00:16:35.000 I can tell you this is 100% correct as the most intense, energized, conservative people in our audience.

00:16:44.000 And if you were to look at the Trump rally that we had in Phoenix, the vast majority of attendees, we know this because we have the data, were ages 30 to 60.

00:16:54.000 That's the data right there.

00:16:56.000 Gen X in particular.

00:16:57.000 Why is that Gen X is so conservative and anti-democrat? 0.88

00:17:01.000 Very hard to afford things right now.

00:17:02.000 Crushed by inflation.

00:17:04.000 Been overlooked by baby boomers for quite some time.

00:17:06.000 And they want their country back.

00:17:07.000 Because they never actually got a chance to live in it.

00:17:10.000 I want to read this email here.

00:17:10.000 Super smart.

00:17:11.000 Charlie, I'm a Gen Xer.

00:17:13.000 I'm the sixth of seven kids and where all my older siblings are technically boomers.

00:17:17.000 We're actually all conservatives, however, I dispute your reason why.

00:17:20.000 We lived in America during the best time. We fully enjoyed our freedom as free-range kids

00:17:24.000 and grew up latchkey kids. We learned how to be responsible at a very young age and

00:17:28.000 we reveled in it. We didn't blame parents for neglect. We loved it.

00:17:31.000 Boomer kids became millennials. Boomer kids were millennials and they became coddled and hovered 0.99

00:17:37.000 over. Hi Charlie, you are spot on about Gen X. We are the stealth generation and we are conservative.

00:17:43.000 The problem with boomers is they're stuck in their hippie, Woodstock liberalism. 0.99

00:17:48.000 They don't understand how their party has changed, and they're afraid to confront the lies.

00:17:51.000 God bless you and keep you, Heather Jenexer.

00:17:53.000 Again, I'm not going to agree or disagree with that.

00:17:55.000 I think there is some truth there, though.

00:17:56.000 Okay, joining us now is Mike Benz, who is terrific.

00:18:00.000 Mike Benz is from a very important project.

00:18:04.000 I want to make sure I get the title right.

00:18:05.000 Anyway, Mike Benz, welcome to the program.

00:18:07.000 How are you doing?

00:18:08.000 Great, thanks.

00:18:08.000 Yep, it's Foundation for Freedom Online and I appreciate you having me on today.

00:18:12.000 So, I use Telegram every single day.

00:18:15.000 In fact, our entire organization is on Telegram.

00:18:17.000 I have eight to nine hours of screen time a day sometimes on Telegram.

00:18:21.000 Telegram is one of my favorite applications out there for security, for privacy, for speed, for group chats, for file sharing.

00:18:29.000 It is objectively the best messenger application out there and I know because I've used All of them.

00:18:34.000 I've used WhatsApp.

00:18:35.000 I've used Signal.

00:18:36.000 What is the news that occurred this weekend with the French government and a messenger app, Telegram?

00:18:42.000 What's going on here?

00:18:43.000 Well, the relevance is it's you and it's about a billion people worldwide.

00:18:47.000 In most of the world, either WhatsApp or Telegram is the primary use of peer-to-peer communication because there's no fees that you incur, like needing a phone plan or SMS.

00:18:59.000 For regular text messages.

00:19:01.000 And there has been a war by the U.S.

00:19:04.000 statecraft apparatus.

00:19:06.000 The State Department, the U.S.

00:19:07.000 intelligence community, the Pentagon, and our swarm army of soft power NGOs to first use Telegram and WhatsApp as an instrument of statecraft to allow U.S.-backed dissident groups or U.S.-backed political movements or U.S.-backed paramilitaries To use a secure end-to-end encrypted chat that has this unique capacity of mass communication, unlike apps like Signal, for example, where you can't have these huge groups and this really versatile multi-channel capacity to simulate effectively a Facebook page in terms of its size, scope, and breadth of people you can reach, but having the benefit of it being

00:19:53.000 A secure, encrypted chat communication.

00:19:56.000 And so, there is a very strong... I mean, obviously the news is that the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, has been arrested in France.

00:20:06.000 And the point that I have been making for the past 48 hours has been that I believe that the role of the U.S.

00:20:15.000 Embassy in Paris has to be interrogated and investigated.

00:20:18.000 Yeah, sorry to interrupt, Mike.

00:20:19.000 We only have so much time here.

00:20:21.000 What exactly was he arrested for?

00:20:22.000 What were the charges?

00:20:23.000 He just got 12 with 12 criminal counts.

00:20:23.000 intelligence or the French government in advance of this arrest because it is so insanely advantageous

00:20:30.000 to the self-perceived interests and strategic imperatives of the US Pentagon, the central

00:20:35.000 intelligence.

00:20:36.000 Yeah, sorry to interrupt, Mike.

00:20:37.000 I just, we only have so much time here.

00:20:38.000 What exactly was he arrested for?

00:20:41.000 What were the charges?

00:20:42.000 He just got 12 with 12 criminal counts.

00:20:44.000 What was the CEO arrested for?

00:20:46.000 Well, he's facing 20 years in prison.

00:20:48.000 And what he's technically arrested for is failing to cooperate with French government

00:20:52.000 officials in terms of moderating content on the platform.

00:20:56.000 So, this is an end-to-end encrypted chat, and the thing he's being arrested for is failing to censor content on the platform.

00:21:03.000 I just want to make sure I understand.

00:21:04.000 That would be like arresting the CEO of Ford Motor Company if someone uses a Ford car to traffic kids across the southern border.

00:21:13.000 Actually, that's a great analogy.

00:21:15.000 So what they're getting him on is the fact that because Telegram is a secure and encrypted chat app, there are illicit activities that take place on the platform, surely.

00:21:26.000 Child pornography, drug trafficking, human child trafficking, all of those crimes are crimes in their own right, and they are saying that his failure to cooperate No, of course not.

00:21:40.000 This is an attack on free speech and free expression.

00:21:42.000 criminally under French law for failing to stop those events.

00:21:46.000 But mark my words, that is not what they are after.

00:21:49.000 Of course not.

00:21:50.000 This is an attack on free speech and free expression.

00:21:53.000 Telegram is where the dissident movement lives.

00:21:57.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:21:59.000 What an unbelievable start to 2024.

00:22:02.000 We had last month saving babies with preborn by providing ultrasounds.

00:22:06.000 And we're doing again this year what we did last year.

00:22:08.000 We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option.

00:22:13.000 As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing.

00:22:19.000 Your gift to preborn will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.

00:22:26.000 $280 can save 10 babies.

00:22:28.000 $28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.

00:22:30.000 And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.

00:22:37.000 And we'll also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.

00:22:40.000 Call 833-850-2229.

00:22:43.000 That's 833-850-2229.

00:22:44.000 Or click on the pre-born banner at charliekirk.com.

00:22:49.000 That is charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.

00:22:51.000 Also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.

00:22:54.000 I'm a donor of this organization.

00:22:55.000 They're terrific.

00:22:56.000 Go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.

00:23:01.000 Let me be very clear.

00:23:01.000 Here's my most public and private advice for President Trump.

00:23:04.000 President Trump should announce that when he becomes president, there will be a 300% tariff on French wine, day one, if these charges or future charges continue.

00:23:13.000 We will not subsidize NATO.

00:23:15.000 We will not send a penny to NATO.

00:23:16.000 If you go arrest people that own social media or messenger platforms, that is an assault on freedom of speech.

00:23:23.000 Period.

00:23:24.000 America will not put up with it.

00:23:25.000 If President Trump Wins the presidency.

00:23:28.000 By the way, you know what a 300% tariff on French wine would do?

00:23:31.000 It would destroy the French economy.

00:23:33.000 Just so we're clear.

00:23:34.000 Donald Trump threatened 100% tariff with Macron, and Macron like ran to the hills.

00:23:38.000 You will not do that.

00:23:39.000 Oh, yes, I will.

00:23:40.000 We have so much power over the European government.

00:23:43.000 Mike, do you believe the American government is quietly behind the French government doing this?

00:23:50.000 Are they just merely a proxy of the American Central Intelligence Agency?

00:23:54.000 Yes, well, I totally agree with the proposal you just put forward.

00:23:58.000 That is not the blocking point in all of this.

00:24:00.000 I don't think Trump is going to have nearly as much trouble with the French government as he will with his own State Department.

00:24:07.000 This is the same story, by the way, as the EU Digital Services Act, which, by the way, is spearheaded.

00:24:14.000 This is the major censorship law and regulation in the EU that just went into effect where the French Head of the EU Censorship Commission, Thierry Breton, just threatened Elon Musk two weeks ago for potentially having a conversation with Donald Trump.

00:24:34.000 If you recall that, basically threatened criminal penalties on Elon Musk.

00:24:38.000 And again, that was a French regulatory official at the helm of the EU censorship law, which has been the number one wishlist item on civilian affairs of NATO.

00:24:48.000 And in terms of the US role in this, The point that I really want to drive home is this has been a strategic imperative of the Pentagon, the CIA, the State Department, and thousands of U.S.

00:25:01.000 government-funded soft power projects to bring Telegram under control, into its possession.

00:25:08.000 Not to kill Telegram.

00:25:09.000 Telegram is a critical asset for U.S.

00:25:13.000 intelligence.

00:25:14.000 Telegram was the primary method for mobilizing street protests and the attempted color revolution of Belarus in the summer of 2020.

00:25:20.000 It is a vital asset for U.S.

00:25:22.000 intelligence within Russia itself.

00:25:25.000 I don't know if your audience knows this, but you can look this up.

00:25:29.000 Several years ago, in 2018, 26 U.S.

00:25:30.000 NGOs The lion's share of them, U.S. 1.00

00:25:36.000 government funded, U.S.

00:25:36.000 State Department funded, condemned Russia and threatened Russia for attempting to block, for considering blocking Telegram in Russia.

00:25:46.000 Why did U.S.

00:25:47.000 NGOs call it a human rights violation for Russia to go after Telegram?

00:25:51.000 Well, it's because these NGOs are fomenting the political resistance movements within Russia using the fact that Telegram is an open playing field for all intelligence agencies everywhere.

00:26:04.000 So they want to rig that playing field by taking control of the back end in terms of spying and surveillance and by taking control of content moderation in order to kill perceived Russian propaganda channels because much of the Russian military and much of the Russian civilian class, most of it, most of them use Telegram.

00:26:22.000 This is why everyone's celebrating what just happened.

00:26:25.000 On social media today is going to have a Ukraine checkmark, you know, emoji icon in their name.

00:26:30.000 By the way, I'm not even weighing in on the foreign policy of this.

00:26:33.000 The fact is, is free speech is a casualty of a proxy war by the U.S.

00:26:37.000 blob.

00:26:39.000 He's a unique case.

00:26:40.000 I don't think he's immediately at risk.

00:26:42.000 The State Department is pushing this in Brazil.

00:26:44.000 Let me ask you, sorry Mike, I totally agree.

00:26:46.000 Is Elon Musk at risk here?

00:26:48.000 He's a unique case.

00:26:49.000 I don't think he's immediately at risk.

00:26:51.000 I do think that something like this helps build the sort of substructure of an international

00:26:59.000 norms and standards argument to be able to threaten that against Elon Musk.

00:27:03.000 I think that the fact that Elon Musk is so internationally beloved, the fact that there is no encrypted, end-to-end, totally anonymized thing, everything Elon is doing is out in the open.

00:27:18.000 Accessing Twitter's backend does not do all that much more.

00:27:23.000 It does some, and there's actually been a lot of weeping and moaning about Elon's changes to terms of service policies.

00:27:30.000 But the fact is, this is something of a unique case because what's done by the Russian military in secret on Telegram is important to the CIA.

00:27:41.000 You can't really do that on Twitter, everything you say is public.

00:27:47.000 Many other reasons maybe that are aside from this, but they are ultimately seeking a rule

00:27:52.000 of law leverage against Elon Musk.

00:27:54.000 But what they're currently doing is that on the civil side.

00:27:57.000 This new EU Digital Services Act, again spearheaded by a French government official, a French

00:28:01.000 military contractor doing the wishlist items of NATO, as NATO has been pushing the EU to

00:28:07.000 pass this new disinformation compliance law in the EU, that is a total crowbar that they

00:28:13.000 are going to use against Elon.

00:28:15.000 I wrote about this two and a half years ago as the number one existential threat to Elon's

00:28:19.000 ability to have free speech, because my organization, Foundation for Freedom Online, even posted

00:28:25.000 the insider clips from Zoom calls of the top US censorship.

00:28:30.000 Mike Benz, excellent work as always.

00:28:31.000 Thank you so much.

00:28:31.000 censorship industry here in the United States bragging on tape eight months ago that they

00:28:36.000 would be in full panic with Elon at the helm, but they have a trick up their sleeve that

00:28:41.000 they can panic responsibly because the EU Digital Services Act will force Elon to put

00:28:45.000 in place the censorship edicts here in the US in order to preserve the European market.

00:28:50.000 Mike Benz, excellent work as always.

00:28:52.000 Thank you so much.

00:28:53.000 Thanks, Charlie.

00:28:57.000 Brian is at the Trump event.

00:28:59.000 Brian, first and foremost, I want the audience to hear your reflection on the time we had together in Phoenix, Arizona last week.

00:29:06.000 Brian Glenn.

00:29:07.000 I told you it was, I think, the greatest event you guys have put on.

00:29:10.000 Turning Point Action, yourself, and Tyler, and the whole gang there.

00:29:13.000 You guys really know how to put on an event, and that was one of the best Trump events, and I'd say the best event, political event, that I've ever been to.

00:29:21.000 So props to everyone there.

00:29:23.000 Now behind me is a speaker.

00:29:25.000 We're just moments away from President Trump taking the stage here in Detroit.

00:29:29.000 We're at the National Guard General Conference, and this is just really kind of their annual You know, they kind of go over some regulations, some rules, a lot of things that I don't understand, but many of the thousands of people that are in here do.

00:29:43.000 But I think better yet, President Trump really showing Charlie his respect for the men and women and our law enforcement and armed services that they have for the country.

00:29:52.000 Yeah, so this is going to be a unique opportunity here for the Trump campaign.

00:29:56.000 What was President Trump doing this morning?

00:29:59.000 He visited Arlington National Cemetery.

00:30:00.000 Catch our audience up.

00:30:01.000 Yeah, earlier today he was at the Arlington Cemetery paying his respects for the 13 service members that had fallen with the disastrous withdrawal at the Air Force Base there in Afghanistan.

00:30:14.000 But meanwhile, Joe Biden was on his way to his second, and I mean second vacation, a back-to-back vacation.

00:30:22.000 So our chief certainly not spending any time with the service members' families there on this very historic day, the third anniversary So Brian, President Trump has an ambitious schedule this week.

00:30:38.000 What are the other stops?

00:30:39.000 What are the states?

00:30:40.000 And are these going to be some more of those messaging type stops, which I think I'm loving?

00:30:44.000 I'm loving the rallies are great, but those kind of crisp, focused policy measured.

00:30:49.000 Here's what I'm going to do different than Kamala Harris.

00:30:51.000 Walk us through the coming week with President Trump.

00:30:54.000 Absolutely.

00:30:55.000 I'm with you on top.

00:30:56.000 I love the messaging.

00:30:57.000 events that we're seeing from President Trump. So we're stopping not only in here in Michigan,

00:31:02.000 we're down in Pennsylvania coming up. We've got some other stops along, back to Michigan in just

00:31:08.000 a few days. We're spending most of his time here in the swing states of Michigan and Pennsylvania,

00:31:13.000 Wisconsin as well. So all of that, but I love these messaging events are very specific to target

00:31:20.000 not only the men and women in law enforcement, have just about every police union in the course

00:31:25.000 President Trump.

00:31:26.000 And I think by the applause you're hearing behind me, they certainly appreciate all that Trump does for men and women that serve this country.

00:31:35.000 So yeah, campaign doesn't end.

00:31:37.000 He's on the road.

00:31:38.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden on vacation with Kamala Harris.

00:31:41.000 Well, we're not quite sure what she's doing.

00:31:43.000 She hadn't held a public press conference since 36 days, Charlie, 36 days since a public press conference.

00:31:50.000 Yeah, I mean, why are the American people putting up with this, number one?

00:31:53.000 But you're doing a great job, Brian.

00:31:55.000 I think that the RFK endorsement is a game-changer and changes the makeup of this race. 0.97

00:32:01.000 And now we're going to have to get shirts together, Brian.

00:32:04.000 MAGA and MAHA.

00:32:05.000 Make America Great Again and Make America Healthy Again.

00:32:07.000 Brian, great work.

00:32:08.000 Thanks so much.

00:32:09.000 So that's the National Guard Convention.

00:32:10.000 I wonder if Tim Walz is speaking.

00:32:12.000 That'd be interesting.

00:32:13.000 Tim Walz could talk about his great service in the National Guard.
