00:24:51.000 And I'm just shocked at how quickly they're getting in there, what they're finding and what they're dropping on X.

00:25:44.000 Remember the Kathleen Sebelius running HHS? And so fast forward to 2025, Trump rebrands it to the United States Doge Service, keeps the acronym, keeps the funding, but gives it a whole new mission to find the receipts.

00:26:02.000 Trump invokes five USC. The Doge team gets embedded inside every federal agency.

00:26:12.000 Each team consists of a lawyer, HR rep, a Zoomer nerd, and an investigator.

00:26:16.000 They report to Doge, not the agency they're embedded in.

00:26:20.000 He also invoked 44USC Chapter 35, which governs federal IT and cybersecurity oversight, since USDS was originally an IT oversight body.

00:27:56.000 There is one component in this book that Walter Isaacson focuses on, which is that when Elon Musk really commits to something, it's all in.

00:28:06.000 He famously will sleep on the floor of the Tesla Gigafactory until they hit the amount of car threshold.

00:28:12.000 He will live in Boca Chica until the SpaceX rockets are completed.

00:28:18.000 He does lots of different projects, but he only does one thing really at a time.

00:28:23.000 Reporting is showing that Elon Musk is living in the White House, in the Eisenhower Executive Office building, on the floor, getting a couple hours of sleep a day to then get right up and go straight back to work, literally sleeping on the floor.

00:28:38.000 Ed, have we ever seen this kind of a life force against cutting government waste in American history or at least in our lifetimes?

00:28:47.000 And to your point about the biography, and I've watched Elon for years, he does many things, but he doesn't multitask.

00:28:57.000 But when something comes to his attention that he needs to focus on, he's all in.

00:29:11.000 This is something we haven't seen in the history of the U.S. And I applaud it.

00:29:20.000 As long as they only have read access to the databases so that people don't think they're stealing the data, which they're not, I think this is going to be a phenomenal turning point in history.

00:29:30.000 And the biggest challenge for us that know what's going on is to get this message out to the rest of America.

00:29:37.000 And we're fighting the mainstream media that's reporting this as stealing of data.

00:30:31.000 Short term, there's going to be a little valley in the economy because the last two years the economy was floated by crisis-level deficit spending.

00:30:40.000 The government, we call it fiscal dominance, government jobs.

00:30:46.000 Not really productive jobs.

00:30:48.000 Illegal immigration is the elephant in the room. 0.83

00:30:54.000 Between the NGOs, the facilitation, the monies directed to the illegals directly, and the accommodation they got, you could easily see $100,000 through the daisy chain of getting someone over the border in here.

00:31:15.000 That's a trillion dollars that was spent by the Treasury and borrowed using the deficit spending.

00:31:31.000 So I suspect long-term this is great, but as we restructure the economy and we get rid of this fake economy, We'll take a hit, but it'll be fine, and we'll come out the other side.
