00:01:35.000 Joining us now is Matt Boyle from Breitbart.com.
00:01:37.000 Matt, thank you for taking time here.
00:01:39.000 Matt, you covered this congressional stuff very closely and you've been tracking it.
00:01:46.000 Walk us through the last couple of weeks from motion to vacate to where we are now, Matt Boyle.
00:01:52.000 Yeah, look, we just had the third ballot earlier this morning and earlier today, and Jordan fell short again.
00:02:00.000 25 intransigent Republicans refused to vote for him.
00:02:04.000 We have a list of those up on Breitbart.com so people can go see if their member of Congress is one of the intransigent Republicans who are doing this.
00:02:15.000 There were, this was the third speaker vote for Jordan.
00:02:20.000 Where this all started was now almost three weeks ago.
00:02:26.000 Eight Republicans led by Matt Gates of Florida did what's called a motion to vacate the chair.
00:02:33.000 They voted with all of the Democrats in Congress to remove McCarthy from the speaker's chair.
00:02:41.000 After that happened, then the House Republicans had first rallied around Steve Scalise, the House majority leader.
00:02:49.000 But Steve Scalise only got 110 voting members of the House of Representatives to back him in conference, which is less than a majority.
00:02:58.000 You'll see the number 113 out there, but that's because three of those votes that he got in conference were from members from the delegates from the territories.
00:03:10.000 So they don't get to vote on the floor.
00:03:12.000 So Scalise's path was pretty much over the second he won the conference nomination.
00:03:19.000 Once Scalise withdrew from the race, the race shifted back to Jim Jordan.
00:03:24.000 Jim Jordan is now and has been for a week now, the speaker designate of the Republican conference.
00:03:31.000 So he's the official nominee of the Republican Conference for Speaker, and he's gotten close, right?
00:03:37.000 So his first vote on the floor earlier this week, he got 200 votes.
00:03:43.000 After that, one member flipped back his way, and another member who was absent is back and voting for him again.
00:03:50.000 But he hasn't been able to break these remaining holdouts.
00:03:54.000 And the thing that is abundantly clear about these people that are holding out against Jim Jordan is many of them are on the appropriations committee.
00:04:04.000 So many of them, seven of them actually, including the chairwoman of the appropriations committee, Kay Granger from Texas.
00:04:11.000 Now, Kay Granger from Texas, I'm told by House Republican aides, is like the Republican Joe Biden.
00:04:18.000 She's so far gone mentally.
00:04:21.000 She's not with it.
00:04:22.000 And so she's the one leading the charge here.
00:04:26.000 You also have John Rutherford on the Appropriations Committee.
00:04:29.000 He represents the district here in Northeast Florida.
00:04:33.000 You have Tony Gonzalez from Texas on the Appropriations Committee.
00:04:37.000 Jake Elzey from Texas on the Appropriations Committee.
00:04:39.000 Steve Womack from Arkansas on the Appropriations Committee.
00:04:43.000 So one thing that's clear is that it's the big government, big spending Republicans who are doing this because there's a government funding deadline coming up on November 17th.
00:04:54.000 The deal that led the original eight to go after McCarthy and move to remove him from the speaker's chair funded the government for 45 days.
00:05:06.000 And they motioned to vacated the chair just a couple of days after that.
00:05:12.000 That funded the government until November 17th.
00:05:15.000 And now with the government funding deadline looming, these appropriator, big government, big spending Republicans, establishment rhinos are in the way of Jordan and continuing their intransigence.
00:05:28.000 Yeah, so what is the path forward then, Matt?
00:05:32.000 Let's just talk strategically, right?
00:05:34.000 We want Jim Jordan to become Speaker.
00:05:36.000 What, if anything, can make these 24, as you call them, and that's not a word I use every day, intransigence, right?
00:05:43.000 That's quite a word, which means unwilling to move for all of you vocab majors out there.
00:05:48.000 What, if anything, can be done?
00:05:50.000 It does not look like the pressure campaign is working, Matt Boyle.
00:05:54.000 Well, look, I think that they're very willing to wheel and deal.
00:05:57.000 I know they say they aren't, but the fact of the matter is, is that there's two ways out of this.
00:06:04.000 I don't think there's any other member of the Republican Conference at this point who could be able to get 217 votes and they'll need to get 218 when a special election is over in Utah next month, right?
00:06:18.000 So there's a special election coming up there.
00:06:20.000 The fact is, is that I don't think that anyone else could get there.
00:06:23.000 So there's two ways out.
00:06:25.000 Either they figure out a way to get there and vote for Jordan, or we're going to end up with a deal with the Democrats.
00:06:32.000 And the big government Republicans are going to finally go be the swamp monsters that they always say they are.
00:06:36.000 And I think that it's a great clarifying moment.
00:06:38.000 I think either outcome is great for Americans.
00:06:40.000 Americans are learning.
00:06:42.000 We're seeing the hood lifted here.
00:06:44.000 We're seeing how these awful people actually work.
00:06:48.000 Look, Charlie, you know this because you have the good ones come to the turning point conferences, right?
00:06:54.000 Like the fact is, is that there's, you know, people out there generally know maybe 15, 20 members of Congress, the ones who are on TV all the time, the ones who go to your conferences, right?
00:07:03.000 The ones who come on Breitbart all the time, right?
00:07:05.000 Like, but there's a lot of these really, really bad establishment politicians in the Republican conference in both the House and the Senate.
00:07:13.000 The House is a little better than the Senate because the elections are every two years.
00:07:17.000 So we've been getting rid of the bad ones and bringing in the good ones.
00:07:20.000 But the fact is, is that I think this is exposing them all, right?
00:07:24.000 Like, so I think this is a great moment for the country in that we're getting to see a look underneath the hood and into the, you know, look, their guts are showing, right?
00:07:36.000 The intestine, the gastrointestinal tract of the awful place that is Congress.
00:07:40.000 I don't mean to interrupt, Matt, but do you think the moderates are feeling the heat?
00:07:44.000 I'm not seeing evidence of that yet, that they're starting to.
00:07:46.000 Okay, so walk us through that because maybe they're just playing a game.
00:07:50.000 They're complaining about, you see this constantly happening now, like where they're all complaining about they're getting quote unquote death threats.
00:07:57.000 Look, they're not getting death.
00:07:59.000 I haven't seen actual evidence of an actual death threat.
00:08:02.000 And obviously, that would be bad if they are.
00:08:04.000 I think what's happening is people are calling their members of Congress and they're freaking out, right?
00:08:09.000 Like, so, like, look, here's the deal: if this was conservatives voting against an establishment person that was the conference nominee, you would see people calling for their committee chairs, right?
00:08:19.000 Like, in calling for their committee assignments and calling to strip them off of committees.
00:08:22.000 They did this.
00:08:23.000 John Boehner did it to conservatives.
00:08:25.000 He did it to Mark Meadows, et cetera.
00:08:27.000 I'm seeing calls.
00:08:28.000 Congressman Jim Banks, for instance, from Indiana, who's fantastic and is the likely senator, next senator from Indiana, is calling for Kate Granger, the leader of this.
00:08:38.000 She's the chair of the Appropriations Committee, to lose her gavel as the Appropriations Committee chair.
00:08:43.000 And people are beginning to pressure whoever the next speaker will be.
00:08:47.000 And I think that it will be Jim Jordan.
00:08:49.000 I think he's going to figure out a way through this and power through it.
00:08:52.000 Look, here's the deal.
00:08:53.000 Kevin McCarthy went through 15 ballots.
00:08:55.000 We've only been through three right now.
00:08:57.000 We've got plenty of time here.
00:08:59.000 And the fact is, is that I think the pressure is on those other people because their predictions of a mass exodus against Jordan haven't come to fruition.
00:09:08.000 And the fact is, is that the vast majority of members have been sticking with Jordan.
00:09:13.000 Since his original first speakership vote ballot, where he got 99 votes, he's moved more than double his way, right?
00:09:21.000 Like, so on the first speakership ballot, he had 200 votes.
00:09:24.000 Then he had 202 on the second one.
00:09:26.000 The fact is that we're in the end game here, right?
00:09:29.000 Like, so the, you know, I think these people can be dealt with, and I think that they can be willed and dealt with.
00:09:33.000 And if they don't, then I think there needs to be serious consequences.
00:09:37.000 And that includes primary challenges.
00:09:38.000 And I'm hearing that there are people announcing and running against many of these intransigents already.
00:09:44.000 And then also cut off of the NRCC funding to these people.
00:09:49.000 The party should not be funding people who vote against the party.
00:09:52.000 And then also, and then in addition to that, I'm also hearing, again, the losing of committee assignments, including chairmanships.
00:09:58.000 Let's play cut 143.
00:10:00.000 Matt Gates is offering himself up on a platter.
00:10:02.000 Play cut 143.
00:10:04.000 Have no goals, have no asks, have no objectives other than to see the eight of us suffer some consequence for having removed McCarthy.
00:10:14.000 So we've made them an offer.
00:10:15.000 The eight of us have said that we are willing to accept censure, sanction, suspension, removal from the Republican conference.
00:10:25.000 We, of course, will remain Republicans.
00:10:27.000 We will continue to vote with Republicans on Republican principles.
00:10:31.000 But if what these holdouts need is a pound of our flesh, we're willing to give it to them in order to see them elect Jim Jordan for speaker.
00:10:39.000 I want you guys to pause right there.
00:10:40.000 This is strategically smart by Matt Gates.
00:10:42.000 He's basically saying, what else do you guys want?
00:10:44.000 We're willing to have censure and removal from the conference.
00:10:47.000 Here you go, guys.
00:10:48.000 You want revenge.
00:10:49.000 I'm giving it to you.
00:10:51.000 They have no asks.
00:10:52.000 This is sophomore, and we're going to keep on naming the names.

00:11:55.000 Matt, what do you think about Matt Gates' offer?
00:11:57.000 I mean, it seems as if, if nothing else, it puts the PR pressure on the other side.
00:12:02.000 What else do these 25 want?
00:12:04.000 You want them to be punished?
00:12:06.000 Fine.
00:12:07.000 They will punish themselves.
00:12:09.000 Matt Boyle.
00:12:10.000 Right, yeah.
00:12:10.000 And this is the point is that I think what Gates is doing here is actually a really smart move.
00:12:15.000 And frankly, there was an interesting thing that insiders were tracking where Jim Jordan had a notepad when he was walking into or out of his meeting with the holdouts the other day.
00:12:26.000 And on it, he had handwritten, what's the real reason, right?
00:12:31.000 Like, and because none of them are giving a real reason, right?
00:12:33.000 Like the reasons that they say are all lies publicly.
00:12:36.000 It's all just political gamesmanship.
00:12:38.000 So he's trying to figure out what's the real reason.
00:12:40.000 Look, people are mad at Matt Gates, and they're mad at the rest of the eight who did this in the first place.
00:12:47.000 And I genuinely agree with them.
00:12:49.000 I disagreed with Matt Gates' decision to oust McCarthy.
00:12:52.000 I thought McCarthy was doing about as good as he could do.
00:12:55.000 You know, there's certain things I would disagree with and agree with.
00:12:58.000 And, you know, it is what it is.
00:13:00.000 But the fact is, we are where we are today.
00:13:02.000 And so I do think it's a smart move by Congressman Gates and the other members of that.
00:13:06.000 It's worth noting that one of those original eight, Ken Buck, is also against Jordan.
00:13:11.000 And so when he said that he does his signature is on that letter by accident.
00:13:15.000 So we'll see how this shakes out.
00:13:17.000 But if that's what they need to be able to get there and vote for Jordan and, you know, they punish the other ones who did this, then fine, right?
00:13:25.000 Like, and, you know, but the fact is, is that if Jordan doesn't end up as the speaker here, look, there's two pathways here.
00:13:30.000 Jim Jordan becomes the speaker of the house, or there is going to be a massive civil war inside the Republican Party where nobody is safe.
00:13:40.000 And frankly, maybe that's a good thing.
00:13:42.000 Maybe that's a good thing.
00:13:44.000 I think the war is already here, Matt.
00:13:45.000 But explain to me, Ken Buck, what is wrong with this guy?
00:13:49.000 I mean, what Ken Buck wants to work at CNN.
00:13:54.000 It's pretty clear, right?
00:13:55.000 Like, I mean, he was interviewing for jobs at CNN very recently.
00:13:58.000 Yeah, and so he's willing to throw away his constituents and his country.
00:14:02.000 I mean, is he a compromised congressman?
00:14:05.000 Yes.
00:14:06.000 Yes.
00:14:07.000 And by the way, we've done plenty of stories on Ken Buck over the years.
00:14:10.000 He's offered a variety of different proposals that would harm conservative media.
00:14:14.000 We've exposed a lot of that stuff over the years.
00:14:17.000 And he's taken money from all sorts of different special interests, from media interests, et cetera.
00:14:22.000 This is a guy who has been on the wrong side of things for a long time.
00:14:26.000 And the ultimate irony is just a few years ago, the guy literally wrote a book titled Train the Swamp.
00:14:32.000 Well, he's become the swamp.
00:14:34.000 And that's what happens with a lot of these people when they get to Washington.
00:14:36.000 They're there too long.
00:14:37.000 They, you know, they get compromised.
00:14:41.000 There's good ones who've been there for a long time.
00:14:42.000 Jim Jordan's been there for longer than Ken Buck, and he's a great guy, right?
00:14:46.000 Like, so it just kind of depends with different ones.
00:14:48.000 But the fact is, is that Ken Buck is a really awful person.
00:14:52.000 Yeah.
00:14:53.000 And so, and these 25, if you were to break it apart, some of them are doing it out of revenge, some of ideological.
00:14:59.000 And so this is going to keep on going.
00:15:00.000 So your strategy would say, Jordan, just keep on calling votes.
00:15:03.000 Is that right?
00:15:04.000 I don't think Jordan should back down one bit.
00:15:06.000 He should call their bluff because nobody else can get there.
00:15:09.000 And Jordan should keep going and keep trying to work on it.
00:15:13.000 And no matter how long it takes, if it takes another month, if it takes another six months, I don't care how long it takes.
00:15:18.000 Jim Jordan should never back out of this race.
00:15:21.000 And what he should do is call their bluff.
00:15:23.000 Their only way out is they need to vote for Jordan and find a way to get there or they need to go make a deal with the Democrats.
00:15:29.000 And either way, I think it's good for the country because you're going to see, I mean, look, a deal with the Democrats, bad for the country, but at least good for the movement in that we're going to expose these people for what they really are, right?
00:15:40.000 Like, and, you know, these big government, big spending establishment, Rhino Republicans, right?
00:15:45.000 Like, so the fact is, is that Jordan should never, ever back down.
00:15:50.000 Yeah.
00:15:50.000 And if he were, both Thai man would be losing the house, right?
00:15:54.000 So, Matt, what you're saying is a little risky, though.
00:15:56.000 I just want to put you on, you know, play devil's advocate for a minute.
00:15:59.000 You say, even if they side with Democrats, you think that's a good thing?
00:16:02.000 I mean, that would be effectively losing our House majority.
00:16:05.000 Yes, but the fact is, is that I think it would expose these people for what they really are.
00:16:12.000 And I think that that would offer the opportunity for the voters of the country across the country to vote in new ones, right?
00:16:19.000 Like, look, we're at a point here where we're almost kind of back at square one where we were a decade plus ago when my colleague Peter Schweitzer came out with throw them all out.
00:16:27.000 It's time to throw them all out, right?
00:16:29.000 Like, look, they're all bad, right?
00:16:31.000 Like, what's the difference at this point between an establishment Republican and a Democrat?
00:16:36.000 Is there one?
00:16:37.000 The only difference I would say, Matt, is committees and Electoral College abolition, D.C., Puerto Rico estates, and HR1.
00:16:44.000 And I hear you.
00:16:46.000 I just, I don't, I like the spirit of throwing them all out.
00:16:49.000 I just don't know if handing the House to the Democrats is wise.
00:16:54.000 And I know that's not what you're saying, but you're basically, you're daring them, right?
00:16:57.000 That's what you're, what you're basically saying is you're daring them.
00:17:00.000 Is that fair to say?
00:17:02.000 I would dare them.
00:17:03.000 And I think Jordan should do the same thing.
00:17:05.000 He should never back out of this.
00:17:06.000 Well, and I think what you're saying is it's risky, but smart, Matt.
00:17:09.000 Basically, you're saying we'll not be held hostage by this, right?
00:17:11.000 We're going to do the right thing, you know, and we're not going to be held hostage by you siding with Democrats.
00:17:15.000 Matt Boyle, we have to go.
00:17:16.000 Thanks so much.

00:17:20.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:21.000 When the government used emergency edicts during COVID to restrict the gathering and worship of churches, three pastors facing the risk of imprisonment, unlimited fines, and their own churches being ripped apart took a courageous stand and reopened their doors in the face of a world that chose to comply.
00:17:37.000 The Essential Church is a feature-length documentary that explores the struggle between the church and government throughout history.

00:18:23.000 Joining us now is Senator Josh Hawley.
00:18:25.000 Senator, thank you for taking the time.
00:18:26.000 I was in your hometown yesterday doing an event in Springfield, Missouri.
00:18:29.000 We packed it out.
00:18:30.000 And I got to tell you, they love the work you're doing, Senator.
00:18:32.000 So big approval back in your home state of Missouri.
00:18:36.000 I'm so glad you were there.
00:18:37.000 Come anytime, Charlie.
00:18:38.000 Anytime.
00:18:39.000 It is great, people.
00:18:40.000 I got to tell you, the protests were pathetic, which shows how great your state is.
00:18:44.000 The opposition was very lackluster.
00:18:46.000 So let's talk about first Joe Biden's $100 billion ask.
00:18:51.000 He is now saying that he wants $100 billion from Congress to support the security needs of Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and the U.S. southern border.
00:18:59.000 He wants $61 billion for Ukraine, $14 billion for Israel, $2 billion for Taiwan, $9 billion for humanitarian assistance, $6 billion for border operations, $1.2 billion for fentanyl.
00:19:10.000 Now, let's not be tricked.
00:19:11.000 What he means by border operations is probably not border security, but probably paperwork processing.
00:19:15.000 Senator, what do you think about this?
00:19:17.000 Oh, I think it's a total joke.
00:19:19.000 And, you know, here's one of the most outrageous things.
00:19:21.000 He wants to send a billion dollars or whatever it is over to Gaza to the Palestinian leadership, who are the ones who perpetrated these terrorist attacks against Israel and against American citizens when there are still American hostages, Charlie, being held as we speak, American hostages.
00:19:39.000 And Joe Biden wants to pay these people.
00:19:41.000 I mean, it's insane.
00:19:42.000 Not a dime for Gaza until every single American hostage is released and safely home.
00:19:49.000 And all the rest of it is a joke, too, or much of it.
00:19:51.000 You know, the border stuff, what it's going to be is buyoffs to New York City and these other blue states and cities that now have illegal immigrants because lo and behold, the border is open.
00:20:00.000 And that's Joe Biden's fault.
00:20:01.000 So, Senator, have you been briefed in a skiff or otherwise?
00:20:06.000 And obviously, you don't have to tell us the date of it, but on the Israel intel failure or America's knowledge ahead of it, or have you kind of been flying blind?
00:20:14.000 It's been two weeks.
00:20:15.000 If America is going to send another $14 billion on top of $4 billion, the U.S. Senate, at the very least, should be aware of what's going on regionally and the other actors involved.
00:20:24.000 Was Iran involved?
00:20:25.000 Was Turkey involved?
00:20:26.000 Have you been briefed, or do you largely feel as if you're being left out of the conversation?
00:20:32.000 We were briefed this past week in a classified setting, but I can tell you, Charlie, I didn't learn anything that you can't read in the newspapers.
00:20:38.000 And basically, I think the administration has no particular plan here.
00:20:41.000 Was Iran involved?
00:20:43.000 We've all seen the reports that Iran is deeply involved.
00:20:46.000 And what is absolutely 100% true, all of the weapons are coming from Iran.
00:20:51.000 Who gave Iran $6 billion just a few weeks ago?
00:20:56.000 Joe Biden, right at the same time.
00:20:58.000 Hamas, which is totally dependent on Iran, Hamas was planning these terrible attacks against Israel and against these Americans.
00:21:05.000 31 Americans killed, American hostages still being held in Gaza.
00:21:08.000 And this administration wants to send more money to Gaza and already $6 billion to Iran.
00:21:14.000 By the way, Charlie, they will not pledge to get the $6 billion back.
00:21:18.000 I mean, it's unreal.
00:21:19.000 Paying the terrorist country that now is sponsoring terrorism against Americans and Israelis, and they won't even get the money back.
00:21:27.000 I mean, it's just, it is pathetic.
00:21:29.000 It's failure on every level.
00:21:31.000 Yeah, and I'm afraid, Senator, that we're kind of barreling towards a regional conflict and regional war.
00:21:37.000 And so in your discussion with your colleagues, contrast this with kind of, or maybe, you know, just contrast it, but compare it to kind of the zeal to help go against Russia.
00:21:48.000 Is there at least some concern amongst some of the old bulls in the Senate that we don't want this to kind of boil over?
00:21:55.000 Because some of your colleagues, not to name any names, have been saying we have to potentially bomb Iranian oil fields, things that I would consider to be rather geopolitically reckless here.
00:22:05.000 What is the temperature amongst your colleagues when it comes to at least trying to contain this so that this does not become A, out of control, and B, require United States troops on the ground to solve it?
00:22:15.000 Well, let me just tell you where I am on it, Charlie.
00:22:17.000 My view is, number one, our overriding priority has got to be to get the American hostages back.
00:22:23.000 31 Americans are dead.
00:22:25.000 Americans are being held hostage in Gaza as we speak.
00:22:29.000 We should be getting our people home.
00:22:32.000 That ought to be priority number one for us.
00:22:34.000 Number two, the Israelis do not want us to fight their war for them.
00:22:38.000 You know, this is something that's very different than, say, Ukraine.
00:22:41.000 What Israel wants is just let them do what they need to do to get Hamas out of there, out of the region, and hopefully to help us get the hostages back.
00:22:50.000 So my view is, you know, all of this talk about, well, Israel needs XYZ.
00:22:54.000 You know, what Israel is asking for is just international support.
00:22:57.000 It's for the United States just to say, let us go in and defend our own people, which they have every right to do.
00:23:04.000 I would start right there.
00:23:05.000 And all this talk about, you know, all the other stuff in the region, let's get focused on American hostages coming home and Israel's right to defend itself against these terrorists that are right on their doorstep.
00:23:17.000 I think that is the right focus here.
00:23:19.000 And, you know, I would just say, let's all talk about, and now we're going to use this to fund Ukraine, $60 billion more to Ukraine.
00:23:26.000 What does Ukraine have to do with it?
00:23:28.000 Nothing, nothing.
00:23:29.000 Let's focus on the main thing.
00:23:31.000 So there's just a little bit of a mystery here, Senator.
00:23:33.000 How many Americans are currently being held hostage by Hamas?
00:23:37.000 Two were just recently released.
00:23:38.000 What is the exact number?
00:23:40.000 I don't know the answer to that.
00:23:41.000 And I don't know if we know the answer to that.
00:23:43.000 The administration might know, but I haven't heard of this.
00:23:46.000 I'm told it's over a dozen, but I don't know the answer to that.
00:23:50.000 And this is, I think, the huge question for Joe Biden.
00:23:52.000 I mean, he just was over in Israel and parading around the fact that he's going to send all of this money, additional money to Gaza.
00:24:00.000 He's already sent hundreds of millions of taxpayer money.
00:24:04.000 I want to be clear about this.
00:24:05.000 It's American taxpayer money.
00:24:06.000 It's your money that has gone to Gaza in the last two and a half years.
00:24:11.000 Inevitably, this has gone to the terrorists who have perpetrated these attacks.
00:24:15.000 So his big thing was we're going to send more money to them, and yet he has not secured the release of American hostages.
00:24:21.000 Why would we ever send money to the Palestinian leadership?
00:24:25.000 And why would we do it when they are holding our citizens currently?
00:24:29.000 I just think it's insane.
00:24:31.000 Yeah.
00:24:31.000 And so I just want, but what we're also doing is we're potentially incentivizing more hostage taking.
00:24:36.000 So 20 or more Americans are missing.
00:24:39.000 And I'll be very honest.
00:24:41.000 I am not feeling as if Joe Biden and this government are that interested in getting these Americans back.
00:24:46.000 But there's now a heightened, what they call threat assessment, basically, for all Americans traveling internationally.
00:24:53.000 And so there's anywhere between 9 to 13 hostages in Gaza, and we're sending more money.
00:24:58.000 But Senator, wouldn't this also put American expats that are traveling across the globe in Berlin or in London?
00:25:07.000 All of a sudden, the price on their head goes up, and we could be incentivizing more American hostage taking, Senator Josh Hawley.
00:25:16.000 Yes, I mean, this is exactly the danger.
00:25:18.000 It's a threat to Americans everywhere.
00:25:20.000 And look what just happened with Iran.
00:25:22.000 That was a hostage deal.
00:25:23.000 Let's not forget.
00:25:23.000 Joe Biden was buying off or trying to the terrorist regime in Iran by giving them $6 billion.
00:25:30.000 And look how that worked out.
00:25:32.000 I mean, you just are telegraphing to these people that the United States is not strong, that the United States is willing to roll over for terrorists.
00:25:40.000 And now we have our own people being held by these terrorists in Gaza.
00:25:43.000 And Joe Biden's solution is let's have some more money.
00:25:45.000 Let's get more stuff.
00:25:47.000 My view is let's not.
00:25:48.000 Let's get home our people and protect our citizens in Gaza, in Israel, and around the world.
00:25:55.000 I want to shift gears here really quick and just get to another topic.
00:25:58.000 Senator, you've done such an amazing job with cross-examining Biden officials.
00:26:03.000 Let's play CUT 144.
00:26:05.000 Do you attend events where people pay to see you?
00:26:08.000 I have attended where people pay to attend the event.
00:26:12.000 Do you think that's a good idea?
00:26:15.000 I think it's important for us to meet potential applicants, American innovators and entrepreneurs who want to scale up their technology.
00:26:23.000 Applicants for loan programs?
00:26:25.000 Applicants for DOE funding.
00:26:29.000 Wait a minute.
00:26:30.000 Wait a minute.
00:26:31.000 You think it's a good idea to go to events where people are trying to get federal money and they're paying to see you?
00:26:39.000 They're not paying to see me.
00:26:40.000 I thought you just said you spoke at events where people paid.
00:26:44.000 Not to see me.
00:26:45.000 I mean, I'm not that important.
00:26:48.000 Well, he's not that important, but he has a lot of power, Senator.
00:26:51.000 That feels like pay-for-play, doesn't it?
00:26:53.000 Tell us a little bit about this.
00:26:55.000 Totally, totally.
00:26:56.000 I mean, here you get an inner working into how this government actually operates, Charlie, where this guy couldn't believe the fact I would take issue with him going to industry insider events where people are paying to see him.
00:27:09.000 He's the director of the loan program for the Department of Energy.
00:27:14.000 He has the ability to disperse in his office hundreds of billions of dollars in loan programs, loans to these industry insiders, and they're paying to get an audience with him.
00:27:25.000 And listen, industry groups that this guy previously founded have boasted they've got an inside track to get all kinds of loans from the federal government because they have a relationship with him.
00:27:34.000 And they advertise if you join their group and pay the money, you can get an audience with him and you can get your loans.
00:27:40.000 I mean, it is pay-to-play.
00:27:41.000 It's outrageous.
00:27:43.000 And he was genuinely perplexed that there would be anything wrong with this.
00:27:47.000 I listened to my other colleagues in the Senate on that committee say, oh, well, this happens all the time.
00:27:51.000 Yeah, it's just front of the mill.
00:27:52.000 We're selling out our government all the time.
00:27:54.000 Come on, it's just standard operating procedure.
00:27:57.000 Senator, in closing here, we don't have time to play the tape, but just summarize your reaction to Charlie Baker, former Republican governor of Massachusetts, and his unwillingness to be clear about men and men's sports and female and female NCAA sports.
00:28:09.000 Your reaction.
00:28:11.000 Just pathetic.
00:28:11.000 This should not be hard.
00:28:13.000 Men should not be playing in women's sports, and men should not be in women's locker rooms.
00:28:17.000 The NCAA forced female athletes to have men in their locker rooms.
00:28:22.000 Then they basically lied about it.
00:28:24.000 Now they won't admit they're wrong.
00:28:25.000 They should apologize to all the female athletes.
00:28:28.000 They should stop putting men in women's locker rooms and men in women's sports.
00:28:31.000 Easy.
00:28:32.000 I totally agree.
00:28:32.000 Charlie Baker is failing as NCAA chair.
00:28:35.000 And I'll tell you, there's a lot of problems come the NCAA's way.
00:28:38.000 And it's not just the NIL thing.
00:28:40.000 The NCAA is a corrupt organization, and it impacts every single senator.
00:28:44.000 Should be a bipartisan thing when you have men going into female locker rooms.
00:28:48.000 It will be the destruction of women's sports as we know it.
00:28:50.000 Senator, thank you for your leadership and your time.
00:28:52.000 Come back very soon.
00:28:53.000 Thank you.
00:28:54.000 Thanks for having me.
00:28:54.000 Thank you.
00:28:58.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:28:59.000 As you know, following this week's horrible events, Israel is at war.
00:29:03.000 The people of Israel are under attack from brutal terrorists, targeting innocent civilians, including women and children.
00:29:08.000 There's over a thousand casualties, as well as kidnapping and infiltration of southern Israeli towns.
00:29:12.000 Israel is now retaliating and could escalate with a ground offensive against Hamas militants.
00:29:17.000 The situation is critical, which is why I'm partnering with our friends at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews to rush emergency relief to the hardest hit areas.
00:29:24.000 Call the special phone number 800-492-5454 to make an emergency donation.
00:29:29.000 Again, that's 800-492-5454.
00:29:32.000 Your emergency gift will help the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews save lives and provide critical essentials needed right now.
00:29:38.000 During this dark time, the need in war-torn areas will be tremendous.
00:29:41.000 The fellowship has an extensive network of staff, partner organizations, and more.
00:29:45.000 Immediately respond with life-saving security and support measures.
00:29:48.000 We ask all people to pray for safety and protection.
00:29:50.000 Call 800-492-5454 as we rush urgent need right now to help Israel through the International Fellowship of Christian Jews.
00:30:01.000 When I called college a scam, people said, Oh, come on, because you know, there is a built-in attachment.
00:30:07.000 People say our institutions are still strong.
00:30:11.000 Let me introduce you to Gemma DeCristo.
00:30:14.000 Gemma DeCristo is a professor of American studies and undergraduate faculty advisor at University of California, Davis.
00:30:23.000 She tweeted, One group of people we have easy access to in the United States is all these Zionist journalists who spread propaganda and misinformation.
00:30:35.000 By the way, she misspelled misinformation, hilariously.
00:30:38.000 Missy information.
00:30:40.000 She's a moron.
00:30:41.000 They have houses with addresses and kids in school.
00:30:46.000 They can fear their bosses, but they should fear us more.
00:30:50.000 Knife X blood, blood, blood, threatening to kill Jews and Zionist journalists.
00:30:57.000 She is a professor of the next generation at University of California, Davis.
00:31:04.000 Columbia professor came out and said, It was awesome, the terror attacks in Israel.
00:31:12.000 Joseph Massad, a professor at modern Arab politics and intellectual history at Columbia University, wrote in an article right after the attacks that it was astounding and incredible.
00:31:23.000 And it was a quote, stunning victory.
00:31:26.000 Joseph Massad says that it's a stunning victory of this.
00:31:32.000 Play Cut 28.
00:31:33.000 This is what your professors in this nation believe.
00:31:37.000 Play cut 28.
00:31:39.000 I spent the day at Kibut Beri, which is one of the civilian communities that was targeted in the massacre just last weekend.
00:31:47.000 And the sites there are extremely harrowing.
00:31:50.000 There are homes that have been completely shattered, that have been blackened by Hamas terrorists who set them on fire in order to murder the families inside.
00:32:00.000 And when they pulled the rubble apart, they found the bodies of eight small children who had been tied to one another and shot.
00:32:10.000 They also found the bodies of a couple who were embracing when they died.
00:32:15.000 It was an extremely difficult thing.
00:32:16.000 I've never seen anything like this before.
00:32:19.000 Professor Columbia thinks that it was, quote, awesome, astounding, incredible, and a stunning victory.
00:32:25.000 Yale faculty member Zarina Greewal, prayers for Palestinians.
00:32:30.000 Israel, Israeli is a murderous, genocidal settler state, and Palestinians have every right to resist through armed struggle, solidarity, the day of the massacre.
00:32:40.000 Meet Amir Hassan Laggins, a Stanford instructor who told Jewish kids to stand in a corner while belittling the Holocaust and calling them colonizers.
00:32:51.000 He is a professor at Stanford University.
00:32:54.000 He worked at Harvard's Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice.
00:33:00.000 And it shouldn't shock you that a black studies organization hires a man who spent his entire career pointing racist, and then he responds to a terror attack calling racist to go put Jews in their own corner.
00:33:13.000 Meet Nina Farina, a professor at the University of Albany.
00:33:18.000 Long live the Palestinian resistance, she said on the day of the attack, and people of Gaza tearing down the walls and colonialism and apartheid.
00:33:25.000 As the Biden admin builds more walls at U.S. borders, the people of the world are rising up and tearing walls down.
00:33:31.000 The Palestinians are a beacon for us all.
00:33:34.000 Meet Cornell professor Russell Rickford speaking about the hair, the terrorist attacks.
00:33:40.000 Now, this video is a little hard to understand.
00:33:42.000 I'll transcribe it in a second, but listen to it, PlayCut 148.
00:33:46.000 The targeting of civilians, as do you, as do I, who were able to breathe.
00:33:53.000 They were able to breathe.
00:33:55.000 It was exhilarating.
00:33:57.000 It was exhilarating.
00:33:58.000 It was energizing.
00:34:01.000 And if they weren't exhilarated by this challenge to the monopoly of balance, by this shifting of the balance of power, then they would not be human.
00:34:14.000 I was exhilarated.
00:34:17.000 He's talking about how exhilarated he was when he found out that babies were being murdered by Muslims.
00:34:22.000 Not taking out of context.
00:34:23.000 University of Washington professor of Middle Eastern dance participated in a pro-Hamas protest.
00:34:29.000 Yes, at University of Washington, they have a studies called Middle Eastern Dance.
00:34:34.000 She said, quote, we must sacrifice our soul and our blood for Palestine in Arabic.
00:34:39.000 Her name is Christine Sahim.
00:34:42.000 These are just a few examples of many who is teaching your kids, who many Republicans donate to these universities.
00:34:51.000 They give tons, massive gifts to allow these sort of evil people to teach your grandkids.
00:34:59.000 That's who's in charge.
00:35:01.000 That is college in America.
00:35:06.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
