00:01:15.000 Well, for years, Texas was run by the Good Old Boy Network.
00:01:19.000 Texas being a deep red state, traditionally a deep red state, it's less and less a deep red state, but they still have 10, 15 point margins of victories for Republicans running for office across the state of Texas.
00:01:31.000 They have two Republican senators, Republican governor, Republican attorney general.
00:01:35.000 It's a red state, but not as red as it used to be.
00:01:37.000 It's changed a little bit, but it's had more staying power, if you will, than the Castro brothers would like or some of the prognosticators would like.
00:01:46.000 But who runs Texas?
00:01:47.000 Well, during the Bush years, it was a group of crony insiders, the good old boys of Austin, Texas, that would wheel and deal.
00:01:56.000 They would talk a good game to their constituents at home and say, yeah, you know, we're pro-2A and conservative values, but they wouldn't always represent those values.
00:02:07.000 And Texas has done a lot right.
00:02:09.000 Texas has also failed in other ways.
00:02:12.000 Texas has become a very corrupt state as far as institutionally.
00:02:17.000 The Bush cartel ran Texas for years.
00:02:22.000 They got whatever they wanted.
00:02:24.000 State rep races, state senate races.
00:02:27.000 The candidates that they chose, that they selected, that they put into office of their liking.
00:02:35.000 Now, Ted Cruz disrupted this a little bit to his great credit.
00:02:38.000 Senator Ted Cruz was an insurgent.
00:02:40.000 He was the solicitor general of Texas.
00:02:43.000 He won a primary he wasn't supposed to win and ended up winning the general election.
00:02:48.000 Ted Cruz was a little bit of the harbinger, a canary in the coal mine against the Texas Pullet Bureau.
00:02:55.000 Now, Texas is very similar to other states.
00:02:58.000 Now, as Texas actually becomes more of a competitive state, it actually loses some of this.
00:03:04.000 But I have learned as I've traveled the country and visited all 50 states many times and spoke at, I think, a Lincoln-Reagan Day dinner in almost every single one of the 48 continental states.
00:03:14.000 I've learned a lot.
00:03:15.000 What I learned is that sometimes there is a curse of being too red of a state.
00:03:21.000 That if your state is too Republican, like Wyoming, for example, or South Dakota, and there is no Democrat Party at all, the Democrats literally then just run as Republicans.
00:03:32.000 So you might have one party rule, but you really don't have that conservative policy.
00:03:37.000 You really don't have that red of a state.
00:03:39.000 This is one of the reasons why Florida has been able to get so much through the legislature.
00:03:43.000 Republicans run as Republicans.
00:03:44.000 Democrats run as Democrats.
00:03:46.000 By the way, this is starting to happen in California when Republicans now just run as Democrats as insurgents.
00:03:53.000 It's not as much as we would like, though.
00:03:55.000 One-party rule can be a very damaging thing.
00:04:00.000 It happens in Tennessee.
00:04:01.000 It can happen in Kentucky.
00:04:02.000 It happens in South and North Dakota, North Dakota, especially.
00:04:06.000 When there's no Democrat Party, you have Democrats in the Republican Party.
00:04:11.000 So for years, the Bush cartel ran Texas.
00:04:15.000 The grassroots had very little to no voice.
00:04:17.000 Why would you need a voice?
00:04:19.000 It's the free state of Texas.
00:04:20.000 We have that Texan attitude.

00:04:30.000 Donald Trump even, some people said that he was going to lose the state of Texas in 2016, that he was going to lose the state of Texas in 2020.

00:04:41.000 Now, we've been following the kind of rumblings for months in Texas of how the insiders, the oligarchs, no different than the insiders or the oligarchs in Washington, D.C., were trying to take out the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, who was duly elected, won a primary against guess who?
00:05:04.000 Ken Paxton won the primary against George P. Bush.
00:05:10.000 The Bushes tried to primary Paxton and he won.
00:05:12.000 The voters wanted Paxton and not Bush.
00:05:16.000 But that did not stop the rumblings, the subterranean movements of the oligarchs.
00:05:23.000 Now understand, things are connected.
00:05:27.000 As Big Fanny Willis in Georgia and Dana Nessel in Michigan and Alvin Bragg in New York are using their state-based power to go after dissidents, the Democrats and the insiders said, how can we make sure the Republicans don't do this to us?
00:05:44.000 Ah, let's put the number one most conservative attorney general in the country on ice.
00:05:52.000 We've been pleading for more state AGs to step up.
00:05:56.000 But if they do a show trial and put on display a trial of humiliation for a Republican AG who dares to speak up, then that can scare and frighten other AGs, psychological warfare to intimidate other attorneys general.
00:06:15.000 By the way, this is happening right now with the Republican AG in Montana, believe it or not.
00:06:20.000 Very similar type stuff.
00:06:22.000 Who's outspoken and courageous?
00:06:23.000 They're putting him on ice, too.

00:06:26.000 He doesn't have as big of a platform as Ken Paxton.
00:06:29.000 So Ken Paxton was rewarded by his voters, the voters of Texas.
00:06:35.000 And we have not defended the allegations against Ken Paxton or his alleged behavior or alleged affairs.
00:06:41.000 I don't encourage anybody to do that.
00:06:43.000 But he's been a terrific attorney general.
00:06:46.000 As I mentioned, I was in Lubbock, Texas a couple of weeks ago, speaking to a state representative at Trinity Church that I was speaking at.
00:06:53.000 And there was hatred for Ken Paxton.
00:06:54.000 The insiders of Texas wanted him gone.
00:06:57.000 Now, why exactly they wanted him gone?
00:07:00.000 It's not totally clear on the surface.
00:07:03.000 Some of it was personal animus.
00:07:05.000 Some of it was revenge.
00:07:06.000 Some of it was the Bushes trying to send a statement that we still run the state of Texas.
00:07:14.000 So we've been following this saga very, very closely.
00:07:17.000 And the Republican establishment of Texas launched a legit coup d'état against Paxton.
00:07:24.000 While the border is completely wide open and millions of people are flooding into Texas, while the Biden regime has waged war on Americans, the priority of the people that are in the Texas House, a majority of them, was to impeach Ken Paxton.
00:07:42.000 The priority was to put on a show trial, a coup d'état, against the will of Texan voters.
00:07:52.000 It wasn't about securing the southern border, stopping the invasion, stopping the drugs flowing into the cities of Houston, Austin, and Dallas.
00:08:01.000 No, the chief priority was and remained to get rid of the guy the grassroots supports.
00:08:09.000 So Paxton was impeached by the House of Representatives.
00:08:13.000 And you might be wondering or not really care, what were the allegations?
00:08:16.000 A lot of personal life stuff.
00:08:18.000 He cheated on his wife or he gave his alleged mistress a job and all that.
00:08:23.000 Makes me roll my eyes, considering that is the standard that we're going to use the impeachment process to go after somebody's personal life in the state of Texas.
00:08:36.000 I'm not making an excuse for it, but come on.
00:08:40.000 Republicans allied with Democrats in the Texas legislature to impeach Paxton and to try to remove him from office.
00:08:50.000 Paxton's trial in the Senate was unfolding over the past week, and we were following that closely.
00:08:54.000 We were tracking which voters in the Texas Senate were considering the swing votes, were considered the swing votes for removing Paxton.
00:09:02.000 And we were one of the few shows to get their phone numbers, put them on social media, and mobilize you, the grassroots, to have a voice.
00:09:10.000 Now, mind you, this was not just Democrats.
00:09:13.000 Chip Roy, who I have a lot of respect for, Louis Gohmert, who I consider a friend, Rick Perry, who I consider a friend.
00:09:20.000 They all came out against Ken Paxton, all of them.
00:09:24.000 Chip Roy said, quote, for the good of the people of Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton must resign.
00:09:28.000 Louis Gohmert, anyone who wasn't deaf and blind in Austin knows that he had eight quality people, including a really valiant Texas Ranger, saying this guy is corrupt.
00:09:40.000 Rick Perry said, shame on those Republicans working to delegitimize the impeachment process.
00:09:46.000 That's Louis Gohmert, Chip Roy, and Rick Perry.
00:09:49.000 You see, I saw it differently, and you saw it differently, most importantly.
00:09:54.000 The will of the Texas voters was: we want Ken Paxton as the Attorney General of Texas.
00:10:01.000 And I'm going to walk through how you, the grassroots, defeated the Bush cartel, how you, the grassroots, defeated the ruling class of Texas, a rare victory when everything seems overwhelmingly negative.

00:13:31.000 Ken Paxton won hands down resounding victory.

00:13:47.000 The Bush era in Texas ends today.

00:13:54.000 The people don't want the Bushes.
00:13:56.000 The Bushes are angry about that.
00:13:58.000 The Bushes don't understand why the conservative base has left them, left them because we realized who you really are.

00:14:10.000 George W. Bush is crying tears for Zelensky, crocodile tears, while our border is completely open.

00:14:19.000 We want nothing to do with that whole cartel of permanent war, corporate interests.

00:19:54.000 In fact, the Speaker of the House, Dave Phelan, is coming out and he says, there will be a price to pay for the Republic.

00:20:34.000 And despite having a whole week to assassinate his character in every way imaginable, and the voters knew the allegations and they gave him power.
00:20:43.000 And the crony cabal, as I could call them, in Austin, Texas, they are no better.

00:20:53.000 We now have to remove these Bush insiders one by one.

00:21:01.000 Behind the scenes, National Republicans organized an under-the-radar campaign of outside conservatives pressure on Texas senators.
00:21:08.000 The outside unofficial team operated like independent, independently of the legal Paxton operation, like a super PAC without the money.
00:21:15.000 I know they can't understand that there was no war room, there was no blueprint, there is no whiteboard.

00:22:25.000 The dollar is getting deteriorated because of his proxy war.
00:22:28.000 And we have to be lectured, blackmailed, extorted on the CIA network of CBS, telling us that we're defending the values of the whole world.

00:22:44.000 Zelensky views himself as a defender of trans values, of gay values, of diversity, equity, inclusion, and ESG.
