Today on the Charlie Kirk Show, we ask the question, why are Republicans not fighting? Terrorists have taken over the streets of Seattle, our history is being burned, and Republicans are nowhere to be found. Our president is fighting alone, and if you are a conservative listening to this, I hope you get very upset and start to question where on earth are the Republicans? We need as much help as we can get in this cultural moment because it is a crisis right now.

00:00:08.000 Today on the Charlie Kirk Show, we ask the question, why are Republicans not fighting?
00:00:14.000 Terrorists have taken over the streets of Seattle.
00:00:16.000 Our history is being burned.
00:00:19.000 And Republicans are nowhere to be found.
00:00:21.000 Our president is fighting alone.
00:00:24.000 And if you are a conservative listening to this, I hope you get very, very upset and start to question where on earth are the Republicans?
00:00:35.000 We need as much help as we can get in this cultural moment because it is a crisis right now.

00:00:59.000 20 random people that do that will get a signed copy of the New York Times bestseller MAGA Doctrine.
00:01:03.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:01:05.000 Here we go.
00:01:07.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:08.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:01:10.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:14.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:17.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:18.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:19.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:21.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:28.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:36.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:39.000 Warning.
00:01:41.000 Lockdowns are probably coming again.
00:01:44.000 Round two.
00:01:46.000 I'm leading the show with this because I see it happening in real time.
00:01:50.000 Houston area officials are, quote, getting close to reimposing more stay-at-home orders and are prepared to reopen COVID-19 hospital-established measures.
00:02:00.000 Arizona has ordered its hospitals to activate emergency plans.
00:02:04.000 So let's just, a little, just in case you forgot, a week ago, there were half a million people in the streets basically next to each other, not wearing masks, rioting, protesting, and mourning George Floyd.
00:02:14.000 Now all of a sudden, they want us to get locked in again after they've started a pseudo-race war in our country over something we weren't divided over, and they want to lock you back down again.
00:02:22.000 I'm telling you right now, this is not going to stand with me.
00:02:25.000 I will do everything I possibly can to make sure that the country does not lock down again.
00:02:30.000 And by the way, the media encouraged the lockdowns.
00:02:32.000 1,200 health officials encouraged the lockdown, saying that white supremacy is a bigger threat than the virus.
00:02:38.000 I'm telling you, if you're listening to this, you better demand that your Republican officials make the clearest and most definitive stand against lockdowns.
00:02:47.000 Shelter in place.
00:02:48.000 If you're afraid of getting the virus, stay at home.
00:02:50.000 The virus is a real thing.
00:02:51.000 It kills real people.
00:02:53.000 However, if you're young, if you're healthy, if you're willing to encounter the risk, make the best decision you possibly can.
00:03:00.000 What I am advocating for is not locking down society through government fiat.
00:03:03.000 I'm not in the place to give you the specific advice that you might have.
00:03:07.000 But what I do know is lockdowns do not work.
00:03:10.000 What I do know is they're great at creating a powder keg that can lead to riots in the inner city.
00:03:14.000 Riots, which will inevitably lead to more infections.
00:03:19.000 It's a vicious cycle, and the left will continue this all the way to victory if we do not fight back.
00:03:25.000 Republicans, take a stand against the lockdown.
00:03:28.000 The theme of this episode is where are the Republicans?
00:03:32.000 The president is fighting alone on this.
00:03:34.000 Republicans, where are you?
00:03:36.000 We elected you to have these tough fights. 0.56
00:03:39.000 Let's talk about Seattle.
00:03:41.000 Nothing to see here, right?
00:03:43.000 I'm going to read to you from the front page of the Seattle Times.
00:03:48.000 Seattle Times says this.
00:03:50.000 Seattle area protest updates.
00:03:53.000 No police reports filed about use of weapons to extort Capitol Hill businesses.
00:03:59.000 I'm sorry, are these protests or is this a takeover of an American city?
00:04:04.000 The media blackout on this has been one of the most outrageous, immoral pieces of activist journalism I have ever seen.
00:04:13.000 An entire city block of downtown Seattle has been occupied by terrorists.
00:04:19.000 Terrorists have taken over an entire city block.
00:04:19.000 That's right.
00:04:22.000 Do you think that if people wearing Make America Great Again hats took over a city block, do you think the media would let that happen?
00:04:28.000 After days of protesting, the Seattle police totally stood down.
00:04:28.000 How did it happen?
00:04:32.000 They closed down shop and moved out of the city's east precinct.
00:04:35.000 Law-abiding citizens and business owners are now being held hostage.
00:04:39.000 They've been basically kidnapped by Antifa.
00:04:42.000 If you want protection from the rioting and burning, you're out of luck.
00:04:45.000 Your leaders have failed you.
00:04:48.000 There's so few that are speaking out against it.
00:04:49.000 Tucker Carlson, Tom Cotton.
00:04:52.000 Where are you guys?
00:04:54.000 Our country is burning.
00:04:57.000 Tucker Carlson, by the way, is facing a boycott for speaking the truth.
00:05:00.000 Our show right here, the Charlie Kirk Show, is experiencing record condemnation, record threats, record amounts of attacks.
00:05:09.000 Where is Lindsey Graham?
00:05:10.000 Where is the passion that Lindsey Graham had during Kavanaugh?
00:05:13.000 People like our podcast and Tucker Carlson were experiencing record downloads and viewership because people want the truth.
00:05:20.000 People want courage right now.
00:05:24.000 This year has been a total doozy.
00:05:26.000 Impeachment, coronavirus, race riots.
00:05:29.000 Who knows what's next?
00:05:30.000 What better time to get right to the source?
00:05:33.000 Senator Ted Cruz and Michael Knowles got back together in D.C. this week for the first time in months.
00:05:38.000 Their podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz, topped the podcast charts earlier this year with their inside look into the impeachment hearings.
00:05:45.000 And now they're back at it again.
00:05:47.000 As 2020 gets even crazier, this is your chance to go behind the scenes in Washington to see what's really happening.
00:05:52.000 You can't get much closer to the action than this.
00:05:55.000 Go check out the podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz, and be sure to subscribe on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen.
00:06:00.000 Again, that's Verdict with Ted Cruz.
00:06:02.000 Check it out and subscribe today.
00:06:06.000 So now, people who the media want you to believe are just protesters have moved in and created what's called a Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.
00:06:15.000 You might see this online. 0.92
00:06:16.000 It's called Chaz, C-H-A-Z. 1.00
00:06:20.000 Chaz is now a country in our court country. 1.00
00:06:23.000 It has borders. 0.90
00:06:24.000 It's not America.
00:06:25.000 They have their own laws, has barriers to entry.
00:06:28.000 If you fall into a certain subset of people, namely police and non-friendly journalists, you'll be denied entry into their country.
00:06:36.000 Plastered on the borders are signs that read, you are now leaving the United States.
00:06:41.000 Of course, none of this is really true.
00:06:43.000 It's all fantasy utopianism.
00:06:45.000 It's a communist cosplay effort being enabled and even encouraged by the feckless leaders that run the city.
00:06:51.000 And I look, I love President Trump or President Trump.
00:06:54.000 Please, I pray on my knees, send in the 1001st Airborne.
00:06:59.000 Break this up.
00:07:00.000 Enough of the child's play.
00:07:03.000 Defend our country from within from the terrorists.
00:07:07.000 I want to play some tape.
00:07:08.000 You know what Governor Jay Inslee, the climate change activist?
00:07:12.000 You know what he said when he was asked about it?
00:07:15.000 He didn't know it was happening.
00:07:16.000 Play tape.
00:07:18.000 Governor, I'd like to ask you about what's going on in Seattle.
00:07:20.000 There's this thing called the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.
00:07:23.000 What's your thought on that?
00:07:24.000 The fact that the protesters have taken that over and not allowing people to come and go freely regarding the people darn.
00:07:32.000 Well, that's news to me, so I'll have to reserve any comment about it.
00:07:36.000 I have not heard anything about that from any credible source.
00:07:41.000 Not that you're not credible.
00:07:42.000 It's just like, before I espouse an opinion, I should know of which I speak. 0.97
00:07:49.000 Either he's a pathological liar or he's high on weed as sky high as you can imagine. 0.95
00:07:54.000 So that's what Jay Inslee said. 0.97
00:07:56.000 He said he didn't know.
00:07:57.000 Now, just breaking, President Trump said, quote, if there were more toughness, you wouldn't have the kind of devastation that you have in Minneapolis and in Seattle.
00:08:03.000 I mean, let's see what's going on in Seattle.
00:08:05.000 I'll tell you, if they don't straighten this out really quick, we're going to straight it out.
00:08:09.000 Mr. President, bring in the troops right now.
00:08:13.000 The head of the state, Jay Inslee, who's entrusted with the state, the safety of the constituents, was not even aware.
00:08:19.000 So what are the listed demands by the terrorists, by the Antifa terrorists?
00:08:23.000 The abolition of the police.
00:08:25.000 Not defund abolishing. 0.99
00:08:27.000 Immediate retrials of all non-white felons currently in prison. 0.82
00:08:33.000 The abolition of youth prisons. 0.76
00:08:35.000 Free college.
00:08:36.000 The abolition of all prisons.
00:08:38.000 Felon voting rights.
00:08:40.000 A ban on any disruption of homeless encampments in the city.
00:08:43.000 A ban on all evictions.
00:08:45.000 Immediate amnesty of rioters, looters, and arsonists.
00:08:49.000 Segregated hospitals.
00:08:50.000 Yep, that's right. 1.00
00:08:51.000 They want all black nurses to only treat black people. 0.91
00:08:54.000 I thought we fought hard to end segregation. 0.61
00:08:56.000 I thought this entire organized nationwide effort was to bring progressive change.
00:09:00.000 But progressions to them looks more to me like regression.
00:09:04.000 And it's worked out as well as you could expect it to.
00:09:07.000 The homeless have been allowed in the camp and have stolen large amounts of food.
00:09:11.000 So how's that Paris commune equivalent working in Seattle for you?
00:09:14.000 Looks like people are still stealing when there's no police.
00:09:17.000 Looks like people still do bad stuff when there's no police.
00:09:20.000 Looks like people still argue when there's no police.
00:09:22.000 It's like almost like human beings are flawed by nature. 1.00
00:09:24.000 It's not the system around them, you Rassohian, illiterate, maniacal psychopaths. 1.00
00:09:30.000 This led on one of the anarchists to tweet out a plea for more food donations, but only if they're vegan, soy, and gluten-free. 1.00
00:09:37.000 History tells us when the left convenes these sorts of tent autonomous cities, their utopias quickly turn into bedlam.
00:09:44.000 Take 2011, Occupy Wall Street, for example.
00:09:47.000 They tried to do this in Zuccotti Park.
00:09:49.000 Here's actually a fun trivia point.
00:09:51.000 I visited Zuccotti Park when I was a junior in high school, and I walked around there and I talked to people.
00:09:57.000 I learned more about the American left.
00:10:00.000 Spending five hours as a high schooler in New York City, my dad went out to some meeting and I walked around Zuccotti Park as a conservative talking to the left, sitting down with the left.
00:10:13.000 They didn't know me.
00:10:15.000 And I wasn't anyone to know back then.
00:10:17.000 Just a high schooler from the suburbs of Chicago.
00:10:20.000 And I looked into their eyes and I saw rage.
00:10:23.000 Saw hatred.
00:10:24.000 How many of our Senate Republicans have actually understood the left?
00:10:29.000 They've actually seen what drives these people.
00:10:32.000 Probably very few.
00:10:34.000 If not, they're on their team. 0.98
00:10:36.000 In fact, in Dallas, a convicted sexual predator was let into an occupied commune and reportedly raped an underage runaway. 0.92
00:10:43.000 And now, as expected, history has repeated itself. 0.83
00:10:46.000 It's being reported that a warlord has emerged in the chaz.
00:10:51.000 Quote, Raz Simone, a local rapper with an AK-47 slung from his shoulder and a pistol attached to his hip, screamed, this is war, into a white and red megaphone and instructed armed paramilitaries to guard the barricades and shifts.
00:11:04.000 Simone was later filmed allegedly assaulting multiple protesters who disobeyed his orders.
00:11:09.000 This is all according to Town Hall.
00:11:11.000 By the way, the media is not recording any of this.
00:11:14.000 If you go to NewYorkTimes.com, if you go to The Washington Post, it is a media blackout at how the left has taken over the streets of Seattle.
00:11:23.000 And they just call it, it's just a protest.
00:11:25.000 It's nothing more than a protest.
00:11:27.000 It's nothing to worry about.
00:11:28.000 It's just people blowing off steam, you know, just the whole occupying of an entire downtown city.
00:11:34.000 In fact, I'm at NewYorktimes.com right now.
00:11:36.000 I don't see an entire thing on Seattle.
00:11:39.000 Instead, I see this.
00:11:40.000 We need to give more hugs because of coronavirus, I see on New YorkTimes.com.
00:11:45.000 Jimmy Fallon is sorry, but what does that mean on New YorkTimes.com?
00:11:49.000 Coronavirus could make America's gun problem even deadlier, New YorkTimes.com tells us.
00:11:55.000 NewYorkTimes.com tells us, according to Paul Krugman, reactionaries are having a bad month.
00:12:02.000 Nothing on the paper of record.
00:12:06.000 That an entire American city is taken over by terrorists.
00:12:10.000 Spencer Bocot Lindell says, how worried should you be about the 2020 election?
00:12:15.000 Michael Tomaski at NewYorkTimes.com says, why does Trump lie?
00:12:19.000 Nothing on the takeover of an entire American city.
00:12:24.000 If you think like you're losing your country, you are.
00:12:28.000 You are.
00:12:29.000 If you're afraid that you're losing everything that has been given to you, you are.
00:12:34.000 WashingtonPost.com, not one thing about Seattle being taken over by arsonists.
00:12:39.000 They have battle over Confederate statue resumes in America's enduring civil war.
00:12:44.000 NASCAR's Confederate flag ban is long overdue, is what the Washington Post says.
00:12:49.000 Company stands to profit on flip of taxpayer-funded coronavirus drug.
00:12:53.000 Nothing.
00:12:54.000 Not one thing about the hostile takeover of an American city.
00:12:59.000 It's a media desert.
00:13:01.000 It doesn't exist.
00:13:02.000 So Simone, the terrorist, claims that he's the police now.
00:13:05.000 I want you to imagine, do you think the New York Times and Washington Post would cover this again if they were wearing all MAGA hats?
00:13:11.000 It's so dishonest.
00:13:12.000 If you guys ever trust the media again, please don't.
00:13:15.000 They are part of the simulation.
00:13:16.000 They're part of such malevolent and awful forces in our world. 0.56
00:13:19.000 It's just so sick.
00:13:21.000 Where are our leaders, Republicans?
00:13:22.000 What are you doing?
00:13:24.000 Republicans, where are you?
00:13:26.000 Are you okay with this?
00:13:28.000 Are you okay with the entire hostile takeover of a city block?
00:13:33.000 Do you think Obama would stand for this if he was in office or Hillary if she was elected?
00:13:38.000 This is similar to the Whiskey Rebellion. 0.64
00:13:40.000 Insurrection Act, take care of it.
00:13:43.000 I want you to reflect back in time to the Bundy standoff.
00:13:46.000 For 20 years, Nevada rancher Clivin Bundy defied the federal government by letting his cattle graze on federal lands without paying the proper fees.
00:13:54.000 So in spring of 2014, the government sent armed agents to confiscate the cattle.
00:13:59.000 But hundreds of protesters, some of whom were armed, assembled in support of Bundy.
00:14:04.000 This led Harry Reid to call the ranchers domestic terrorists.
00:14:08.000 Some of the news articles by the New York Times were domestic terrorists tried to burn down the country.
00:14:14.000 Same way that they tried to message Waco or Ruby Ridge.
00:14:21.000 The Obama administration sent in armed officials and officers, private contractors to end the standoff.
00:14:28.000 The situation eventually ended and thankfully diffused out any fatalities.
00:14:32.000 But Bundy and 18 others were arrested and charged with felonies.
00:14:36.000 Those on the right are treated by Democrats in office with tanks and guns in overwhelming force.
00:14:44.000 So why do we stand for anarchy in our streets?
00:14:47.000 And yet, Republicans have done next to nothing.
00:14:51.000 The left wants to create a new America. 0.83
00:14:55.000 Literally is what they're doing in Seattle.
00:14:57.000 And they're doing that by destroying our history.
00:15:02.000 With currently no NBA, NHL, or Major League Baseball, you might think there's nothing to bet on.
00:15:07.000 Well, you'd be totally wrong.

00:16:02.000 And really, this is just another example of cancel culture.
00:16:06.000 Statues are coming down across the country.
00:16:09.000 There's even a conflict growing in Washington, D.C., as Democrats push to remove Confederate statues still in the Capitol, as well as to rename military bases named after Confederate soldiers.
00:16:22.000 But let's start here. 0.94
00:16:23.000 American Taliban.
00:16:25.000 That's right, American Taliban was trending on Twitter.
00:16:28.000 I said, why would American Taliban be trending on Twitter?
00:16:28.000 I saw this.
00:16:32.000 What is this all about?
00:16:33.000 This is in reference to the Taliban's penchant for destroying ancient statues in the Middle East.
00:16:39.000 Most famously, the Buddha statues.
00:16:42.000 They were two enormous sixth-century monumental statues of Buddha carved into the side of a cliff.
00:16:48.000 They were unbelievably beautiful.
00:16:50.000 They tore them down.
00:16:51.000 Senator Ted Cruz made this comparison on Twitter, sharing a video of a statue of Christopher Columbus being taken down in St. Paul, Minnesota.
00:17:00.000 Cruz wrote, American Taliban.
00:17:03.000 Elon Omar, the ingrate, who hates her country, is not thankful for being in America, and ingrate means someone who does not have gratitude for being in America.
00:17:12.000 She replied, quote, this was organized and led by indigenous people.
00:17:15.000 Columbus literally started a genocide against them.
00:17:18.000 What a sick thing to say about those taking down monuments to their own oppression.
00:17:22.000 Senator Ted Cruz replied, No, he didn't commit genocide, literally or otherwise.
00:17:27.000 He did discover the new world, which led to colonizers, some of whom inadvertently brought disease, the senator continued.
00:17:34.000 Is your position that it's inherently immoral to come to America from a foreign land?
00:17:39.000 I'm glad my dad came from Cuba.
00:17:41.000 This is a brilliant slight by Senator Ted Cruz.
00:17:43.000 In fact, I like spicy social media, Senator Ted Cruz. 0.85
00:17:46.000 I think that Ted Cruz needs to do more of this because basically he's implying by what he said, is it your position that it's inherently immoral to come to America from a foreign land?
00:17:54.000 It's a phenomenal linguistic attack against Elon Omar, that actually saying it.
00:17:59.000 It's phenomenal.
00:18:01.000 Kudos to Senator Ted Cruz.
00:18:02.000 So here's how I analyze this. 1.00
00:18:04.000 We are now taking history lessons from the most ungrateful member of Congress and a refugee from a failed state in Africa where they have total anarchy. 0.98
00:18:14.000 Sound like something that's happening here? 0.98
00:18:17.000 Christopher Columbus has long been demonized because he represents the imperialist raping and pillaging of white Europeans.
00:18:26.000 These statues were largely placed across America by Italian Americans who used to struggle against bias against Italians.
00:18:35.000 These were built as symbols of pride for famous Italians and his place in the American experience.
00:18:42.000 Let's play tape of who's this?
00:18:44.000 Cuomo defending the statues?
00:18:47.000 Play tape.
00:18:48.000 Christopher Columbus, I understand the dialogue has been going on for a number of years.
00:18:53.000 The Christopher Columbus statue represents, in some ways, the Italian-American legacy in this country and the Italian-American contribution in this country.
00:19:07.000 I understand the feelings about Christopher Columbus and some of his acts, which nobody would support.
00:19:14.000 But the statue has come to represent and signify appreciation for the Italian-American contribution to New York.
00:19:26.000 So for that reason, I support it.
00:19:29.000 Now, instead of wanting to be more included in the American story, our newest members of the American community, like Elon Omar, want to burn it down and destroy how our nation came to be.
00:19:41.000 This is the left.
00:19:43.000 If you understand the left, you know the history of the cultural revolution.
00:19:48.000 The Cultural Revolution was pushed forward in China by the Chinese Communist Party by purging remnants of capitalist and traditional elements from Chinese society to basically reimpose Mao Zedong thought, known outside of China as Maoism, which was the dominant philosophy in the Chinese Communist Party.
00:20:11.000 Now, the more I read about the Cultural Revolution, the more I read about how the CCP went on an aggressive campaign throughout China to destroy history, the more I regret not speaking out against our international globalist trade policies with China.
00:20:29.000 We never should have made them richer. 0.64
00:20:31.000 We never should have even thought for a second that the more capital flows we had into China, the more they would, quote, westernize.
00:20:39.000 And so this is nothing new from the left.
00:20:41.000 They love to destroy history.
00:20:42.000 Lenin did this.
00:20:43.000 Stalin did this.
00:20:44.000 They will destroy the history once they take power.
00:20:48.000 And by the way, if public property is being destroyed and defaced, it should not ever be tolerated.
00:20:54.000 If you want to remove a statue, you go through the correct and proper channels.
00:20:59.000 You don't do it publicly, and then you act as if you're a hero.
00:21:02.000 There is an individual in Portsmouth, Virginia, who's in a coma right now.
00:21:08.000 He's comatose because Black Lives Matter vandals pulled down a statue and split it open on his head.
00:21:15.000 The video is awful, by the way.
00:21:17.000 The reason it's hard to remove statues is because there are a lot of supporters of these statues.
00:21:22.000 What about their rights?
00:21:24.000 Even statues and monuments celebrating individuals whose accomplishments should stand the test of time, people you think the far left would herald for their work as maybe abolitionists or fighting fascism are still getting defaced.
00:21:38.000 That's right.
00:21:39.000 The left is defacing abolitionist statues, people they should be heralding as heroes.
00:21:45.000 Is the left saying that the abolition of slavery was a bad thing?
00:21:49.000 I don't think so.
00:21:50.000 But it begs the question.
00:21:52.000 A total American hero, Senator Tom Cotton, who we're having back on the Charlie Kirk show next week, went off on these vandals, defacing our historical moments.
00:22:02.000 Listen to the senator take these vandals basically to history class from the floor of the Senate.
00:22:11.000 Play tape.
00:22:13.000 But it's not just in Seattle.
00:22:15.000 Look at what's happening to statues and monuments all around our country.
00:22:23.000 In several cities, statues to Christopher Columbus have been pulled down or they've been defaced or destroyed.
00:22:31.000 Statues that in most cases were put up by Italian American immigrants who were proud of their part in the great American story.
00:22:40.000 This was not done in accordance with law.
00:22:43.000 It was not done after thoughtful debate in city councils or state legislatures.
00:22:47.000 It was done by mobs.
00:22:50.000 Just last week, the Lincoln Memorial, a temple to the great emancipator, was defaced.
00:22:57.000 The World War II Memorial, a memorial to those who fought and liberated the world from fascism was defaced. 0.86
00:23:07.000 Now, across the Atlantic, the ideological kin of this Jacobin mob defaced statues of Churchill. 0.76
00:23:19.000 Wait until they hear about what the other guy did on the other side.
00:23:23.000 But you know, history is not the longsuit of these woke children.
00:23:30.000 They didn't take history classes apparently in high school and college.
00:23:32.000 They were too busy taking social justice seminars.
00:23:37.000 You can see that too in Philadelphia.
00:23:39.000 The statue of Matthias Baldwin was defaced.
00:23:42.000 Matthias Baldwin was a committed and devoted abolitionist who funded education for freed African Americans, who gave them jobs, and they defaced his statue.
00:23:58.000 Even more amazing, in Boston, the Shaw Memorial was defaced.
00:24:04.000 The Shaw Memorial honors the 54th Massachusetts Regiment, the first African American regiment formed after the Emancipation Proclamation.
00:24:16.000 Whose bravery and valor in battle on behalf of the Union cause was memorialized in the movie Glory.
00:24:23.000 Yet it was defaced by these mobs.
00:24:26.000 I wish there were more courageous leaders like Senator Tom Cotton.
00:24:30.000 Senator Tom Cotton is one of the only U.S. senators that, when I speak to him, he responds quickly, he communicates clearly, and he acknowledges the same sense of unease that I have that the direction of America is currently going on.
00:24:44.000 Many senators I communicate with dodge my communication.
00:24:49.000 They are more interested in establishment politics.
00:24:51.000 They're more interested in keeping the Chamber of Commerce happy or the Chinese Communist Party to not call them out.
00:25:00.000 Senator Tom Cotton is a true American hero. 0.86
00:25:02.000 I don't actually agree with Senator Tom Cotton on every single issue.
00:25:07.000 In fact, on international intervention, Senator Tom Cotton and I do not see eye to eye.
00:25:13.000 He wanted military retaliation against Iran back in January.
00:25:17.000 But despite some specific policy differences that Senator Tom Cotton and I might have, I will take a Senator Tom Cotton in an instant over someone I agree with 100% who remains silent and then does not stand up against the mob.
00:25:31.000 We need people like Senator Tom Cotton, who you might not agree with on every single issue, but boy, do I agree with him on everything he's been doing recently, to be able to be clear, pro-America, and pro-Western.
00:25:44.000 These times require true leadership by people who love America.
00:25:51.000 They're patriots.
00:25:52.000 Instead, now we have a separate statue crisis brewing in Washington, D.C.
00:25:57.000 This is from the Washington Examiner.
00:25:59.000 Quote, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday night that she requested the joint committee on the library to remove a dozen figures of Confederate statues that are located in several areas of the Capitol.
00:26:09.000 The committee is made up of five Republicans and five Democrats and is currently chaired by Republican Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri.
00:26:16.000 Blunt said in a statement Thursday night that the law did not permit the committee to remove the statues.
00:26:20.000 Only the states that commissioned them have the authority to take them out of the building.
00:26:24.000 Now, let me just stay here.
00:26:25.000 Of course, Pelosi disagrees.
00:26:26.000 She says, monuments to men who advocate cruelty and barbarism, blah, blah, blah.
00:26:30.000 I'll get into her statement.
00:26:31.000 But this is what's wrong with establishment politics.
00:26:33.000 Did you listen carefully to what Senator Roy Blunt said?
00:26:37.000 Senator Roy Blunt went immediately to procedure, immediately to parliamentarianism.
00:26:43.000 He didn't say that it was the wrong thing to take down the statues.
00:26:47.000 He didn't say that it was immoral to take down our history.
00:26:52.000 Instead, he's like, oh, don't blame me.
00:26:54.000 It's the states.
00:26:55.000 You can't really do that.
00:26:57.000 This is the problem with Republican establishment thinking.
00:27:03.000 This is the issue with the traditional Republican orthodoxy.
00:27:08.000 And now I agree with Roy Blunt on a lot of things, but I'm going to call it out as I see it.
00:27:12.000 So Pelosi, again, disagreed.
00:27:13.000 She writes this pabl.
00:27:15.000 It was probably written by some 26-year-old social justice warrior activist that just went to some elite institution that has all the latest buzzwords that have been approved by the highly educated, I should say, over-educated ingrates that run American colleges, monuments to men who advocated cruelty and barbarism to achieve such a plainly racist end or a grotesque affront to these ideals.
00:27:39.000 And look, Nancy Pelosi is trying to try to make it seem as if an entire part of American history does not exist.
00:27:46.000 Senator Mitch McConnell said on Thursday that the decision whether or not to remove Confederate statues from the United States Capitol should be left up to the states.
00:27:52.000 House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has echoed this perspective, saying the state should decide.
00:27:56.000 Can we just take some stands on something, please?
00:27:58.000 Can we just say no?
00:27:59.000 Actually, the statue should stay up.
00:28:00.000 Not that, well, leave it in the people's hands.
00:28:02.000 I mean, I have a lot of respect for Kevin McCarthy.
00:28:05.000 I consider him a friend to Mitch McConnell.
00:28:06.000 But guys, come on, please stand up to the mob.
00:28:09.000 For goodness gracious sake.
00:28:10.000 Do what President Trump said and said, we're not even having a conversation on this.
00:28:13.000 You know why they're pushing, guys?
00:28:14.000 They're trying to push you.
00:28:15.000 They're trying to provoke you.
00:28:17.000 And the quicker you stand up to them, the quicker that you pick the cultural fight, the less likely they are going to get their actual desired objective.
00:28:25.000 You have to build the cultural war now.
00:28:28.000 You have to draw a line in the sand. 0.98
00:28:30.000 And yes, it's also the right thing to do.
00:28:32.000 You give them an inch.
00:28:33.000 They're going to go a mile.
00:28:34.000 You think they're going to stop with the statues?
00:28:36.000 The next is the flag.
00:28:37.000 The next is July 4th.
00:28:39.000 And I've praised Governor Ron DeSantis many times on this podcast.
00:28:42.000 He's another dear friend of mine.
00:28:44.000 I think very highly of Ron.
00:28:45.000 I think he handled the lockdowns and the Chinese coronavirus better than almost any other governor, except maybe Governor Christy Noam.
00:28:51.000 I supported Governor Ron DeSantis in the primary against Putnam.
00:28:54.000 I supported him early.
00:28:56.000 I encouraged donors to donate to him, and it came at a great amount of backlash and political pressure under myself.
00:29:03.000 But Florida Republican Ron DeSantis requested the architect of the U.S. Capitol replace a statue of Confederate General Edmund Kirby Smith, and we relent to the left.
00:29:12.000 I don't agree with Ron DeSantis on this as respectfully as I possibly can.
00:29:17.000 The truth is this.
00:29:18.000 If the House moves to pass these bills, they'll possibly and probably pass the Republican support because the way the flow goes, the way the narrative goes, is the left has an agenda.
00:29:30.000 They have an agenda in their drawer, and they're going to push the Republicans until we agree with it.
00:29:38.000 Now, the reason why things have been different in the Trump era, the reasons why we have so many wins, embassy in Jerusalem, Iran deal gone, rebuilding the wall.
00:29:46.000 We had the best economy in American history.
00:29:48.000 We're going to get it back.
00:29:49.000 All these amazing wins, Gorsuch Kavanaugh, 300 circuit court judges, is because Trump made the left play defense.
00:29:56.000 So why is the House, why are our Republican politicians saying, no, let's right now demand the renaming of the bitter racist Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Library?
00:30:06.000 Right here, right now, we are not going to celebrate or tolerate Lyndon Baines Johnson.
00:30:10.000 We are not going to tolerate or celebrate Planned Parenthood, which was founded by a eugenicist.
00:30:15.000 All references to Margaret Sanger must be removed.
00:30:18.000 All of a sudden, this entire conversation would conveniently disappear.
00:30:21.000 Why don't we rename the Bill and Hillary Clinton airport in Arkansas, of which Bill Clinton is now under even more serious allegations of his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein?
00:30:30.000 We accept their premise and we surrender.
00:30:33.000 Are you sick of surrendering?
00:30:35.000 I am.
00:30:36.000 And by the way, this is not even my most passionate issue, okay?
00:30:39.000 I mean, if you ranked what gets Charlie Kirk fired up, Confederate statues is probably like 126, okay?
00:30:46.000 And there's probably sports is ahead of that.
00:30:49.000 However, I don't, I fight hard on this not because it's high on the hierarchy of my issues.
00:30:56.000 I fight hard on it because I know exactly why the left is doing this.
00:30:59.000 And it's also wrong.
00:31:01.000 It's infuriating because we always cave.
00:31:03.000 And when you surrender, it is like any sort of bullying exploitation dictator scheme.
00:31:08.000 When they know they can push you to some extent, they're going to keep on pushing you to that extent.
00:31:13.000 If they know they can set the rules of engagement, they are going to do this for churches. 0.99
00:31:18.000 They are going to do this to synagogues. 0.82
00:31:19.000 They are going to do this for the flag. 0.98
00:31:20.000 They are going to cancel July 4th.
00:31:22.000 They are going to cancel the beautiful history of Abraham Lincoln because they have contempt for the entire and the totality of the history of America.
00:31:30.000 The only history they like of America is the brutal and awful parts of the history of America that confirm liberal welfare state or massive government programs or funding of some sort of ridiculous planned parentage scheme.
00:31:41.000 McCarthy, who I consider a huge friend, but he previously joined Republicans and Democrats in 2016 for the House vote to ban the display of Confederate monuments at a veterans administration facility and cemetery.
00:31:53.000 Also in 2016, the Republican-led House removed a state flag display at a Capitol Hallway because the Mississippi flag includes a Confederate symbol.
00:32:01.000 So again, if you give an inch to the left, they will always take a mile.
00:32:05.000 But there's even more.
00:32:07.000 U.S. military bases cancel culture and gone with the wind.
00:32:11.000 All of these recent protests, and yes, riots and looting, not just peaceful protesting, are always worth reminding you.
00:32:19.000 They have ignited the waves to rename the U.S. Army bases honoring military figures of the Civil War South.
00:32:28.000 Now, we're going to get into the actual truth around the American Civil War.
00:32:33.000 And was it really as the left depicts it?
00:32:37.000 Because it's a lot more complicated about it.
00:32:39.000 Yes, slavery was a issue of the Civil War, but it was not the only issue.
00:32:44.000 And some historians argue it was not even the predominant issue.
00:32:49.000 Take a second to think about the private information you have on your computer and mobile devices, your pictures, videos, financial information, work files, personal documents, information that cyber criminals are constantly trying to get their hands on.
00:33:02.000 What are you doing to keep that from happening?
00:33:04.000 You need protection, and PC Matic is doing it right.
00:33:07.000 Instead of only blocking programs on a blacklist of known cyber threats like traditional antivirus software, PC Matic protects your internet connected devices by blocking any application that isn't on its whitelist of known trusted programs.
00:33:21.000 And they're the only antivirus company that does its development, research, and customer support 100% in the United States.
00:33:26.000 Made in America for Americans.
00:33:29.000 When it comes to cyber attacks, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
00:33:32.000 So what are you waiting for?
00:33:33.000 PC Matic protects Macs, Windows computers, and servers and Android phones and tablets.
00:33:38.000 Get a free month of protection with the purchase of an annual license at pcmatic.com/slash Charlie.
00:33:44.000 Again, that's pcmatic.com/slash Charlie.
00:33:46.000 Keep the bad guys out and your personal information secure with PCMatic.
00:33:52.000 So here are the 10 bases that are in question.
00:33:55.000 All of them are located in southern states that were once part of the Confederacy.
00:34:01.000 Camp Beauregard in Louisiana, Fort Benning in Georgia, Fort App Hill in Virginia, Fort Hood in Texas, Fort Lee, named after Robert E. Lee, of course, in Virginia, Fort Pickett in Virginia, Fort Polk in Louisiana, Fort Rucker in Alabama, Fort Bragg in North Carolina, and Fort Gordon in Georgia.
00:34:23.000 Now, President Trump rightly said he will not even consider renaming the bases.
00:34:27.000 This should what the entire Republican Party position should be.
00:34:30.000 Now, again, I am not the biggest advocate in the world around defending the Confederacy.
00:34:38.000 This is not about the Confederacy.
00:34:41.000 It's not about the Civil War.
00:34:43.000 It's not about anything more than the left trying to destroy the history of America.
00:34:50.000 Now, mind you, a lot of these camps or a lot of these forts in the southern part of the country are revered by people that have been trained there for so long. 0.51
00:35:01.000 This is the intentional poking in the eye of Southern America.
00:35:07.000 This is part of a war on the South.
00:35:11.000 Now, I have so much respect for the United States military.
00:35:16.000 And did you know that almost 44% of all the military comes from six southern states?
00:35:25.000 This is according to the United States Military Department of Defense information.
00:35:31.000 So when the ruling class wants to go fight their trigger-happy wars overseas, when they want to go invade a country that is halfway around the world, it's not disproportionately people from Malibu or Manhattan stepping up.
00:35:48.000 It is the Southerners that the left has contempt for.
00:35:52.000 So it's the Southerners that go fight the wars of the ruling class.
00:35:57.000 So go fight our wars.
00:36:00.000 Go protect the country.
00:36:02.000 Thanks for keeping us safe.
00:36:03.000 We're also going to go tear down all your monuments and we're going to rename all your bases.
00:36:09.000 This is a war on the American South.
00:36:12.000 And mind you, I say this as someone from the suburbs of Chicago.
00:36:16.000 And I've said this once and I'll say it again. 1.00
00:36:18.000 From a young age, I was taught explicitly and implicitly that Southerners are dumb. 0.99
00:36:25.000 When I say this to someone who grew up in the South, they don't believe me. 1.00
00:36:29.000 When I said this to Graham Allen, I said, I was taught to think you are stupid because of the way you talk. 0.97
00:36:36.000 In fact, if you are above the Mason-Dixon line or north of the Mason-Dixon line, when you want to say something as if it's a pejorative or it is less than intelligent, a lot of the jokes that are made in suburban America that are, by the way, are considered still politically correct, are if you say it in a southern accent with a southern draw, if you will. 0.99
00:37:02.000 People say, well, don't speak improperly if you speak with that southern accent.
00:37:07.000 This is part of a war on the south.
00:37:12.000 Now, is that systemic cultural stereotyping?
00:37:15.000 I don't want to say it's systemic racism, but is that systemic cultural stereotyping?
00:37:19.000 Maybe.
00:37:20.000 Now, who is leading the charge on this right now? 1.00
00:37:23.000 It is Pocahontas, the fake Native American Elizabeth Warren, who always rails on us about white privilege, even though she lied about her Native American heritage to get ahead.
00:37:34.000 So Senator Elizabeth Warren proposed within the National Defense Authorization Act to rename posts and assets, streets, aircraft, ships, and other equipment, either named for Confederate officers that honor the Confederacy within three years.
00:37:49.000 Not only this, she also tucked away in her amendment a call to literally destroy any Confederate grave and monument inside the Arlington National Cemetery, all federal military and graveyards.
00:38:00.000 Desecration of graves is now a Democrat Party platform.
00:38:04.000 President Trump responded on Twitter.
00:38:06.000 He said this.
00:38:07.000 Seriously failed presidential candidate, Senator Elizabeth Warren, just introduced an amendment on renaming many of our legendary military bases from which we trained to win two world wars. 0.97
00:38:17.000 Hopefully our great Republican senators won't fall for this.
00:38:20.000 Despite Trump's opposition, a Republican-led Senate committee approved an amendment.
00:38:24.000 So the Pentagon will work to rename the bases within three years.
00:38:28.000 So look, you know where they're really going with this?
00:38:30.000 They want to take down the Washington Monument.
00:38:32.000 They want to take down the Lincoln Memorial.
00:38:33.000 They want to take away, they want to take down any monument or memorial named after someone who committed a sin.
00:38:39.000 So they want to take down every single monument memorial.
00:38:42.000 History is something to learn from, to appreciate, to understand, to reflect on.
00:38:47.000 By the way, you know what monument they're not taking down?
00:38:50.000 You know what monument they're not going after?
00:38:52.000 The statue of Vladimir Lenin in downtown Seattle.
00:38:56.000 Did you know that in the United States of America, there is a statue of Vladimir Lenin, the Marxist revolutionary murderous maniac who started the Russian Revolution.
00:38:56.000 That's right.
00:39:07.000 If you don't believe me, look it up yourself.
00:39:09.000 Now, all of this is setting up a potential clash between Donald Trump and the Senate if it passes this bill.
00:39:15.000 Now, Trump has pledged to veto the bill, even if it comes with support from Republicans.
00:39:19.000 Now, Senator Josh Hawley from Missouri, God bless him, voted against the amendment.
00:39:23.000 So did Senator Tom Cotton.
00:39:25.000 God bless him.
00:39:25.000 But Senator Mike Rounds from South Dakota said while he agreed that U.S. history should not be forgotten, he said the bases shouldn't be named for those who fought against our country.
00:39:33.000 Shame on you, Senator Mike Rounds.
00:39:35.000 You placate the left, these establishment Republicans that kowtow to China, that kowtow to the open border lobby.
00:39:42.000 Who do you represent?
00:39:43.000 He said, I so think this is a step in the right direction.
00:39:46.000 This was the right time for it.
00:39:48.000 I think it sends the right message.
00:39:49.000 He doesn't get the game that he's playing in.
00:39:51.000 He is getting played like a pawn.
00:39:53.000 He's a pawn of the globalist left that wants to destroy our country from within.
00:40:00.000 My goodness.
00:40:01.000 So I think this is a step in the right direction, Mike Rounds said.
00:40:04.000 What?
00:40:05.000 Just to burn down our entire country's history?
00:40:07.000 Oh, I think history is important.
00:40:09.000 You know, I love that the Southerners go fight all the wars for us, but you know, let's go rename all their bases.
00:40:15.000 This is the right time for it. 0.82
00:40:17.000 While Black Lives Matter is burning down our entire country, when will these senators realize that we're in a culture war right now? 1.00
00:40:23.000 Put on the jersey, okay? 0.99
00:40:24.000 Go put on the jersey and fight for our country.
00:40:28.000 Again, if I had to rank the most important issues, it's like 125 on it, Confederate statues.
00:40:34.000 I'm not a pro-Confederate historian.
00:40:38.000 I'm not in any one of those ways.
00:40:39.000 I'm not someone who, again, I'm open-minded to American history.
00:40:43.000 I've read very provocative pieces of literature that said that, you know, it wasn't about slavery and all this.
00:40:48.000 And I think that there's some validity to that.
00:40:50.000 But I am so fervently against this because I understand the schemes of the left.
00:40:54.000 This is Bolshevik-type tactics.
00:40:58.000 Kaylee McEnany defiantly stated that these bases are known by the heroes that inhabit them, play tape.
00:41:04.000 He goes on to say, We do not live in a country to which Braxton Bragg, Henry L. Bang, or Robert E. Lee can serve as an inspiration.
00:41:11.000 What does the White House say to that particular form?
00:41:14.000 Fort Bragg is known for the heroes within it that trained there, that deployed from there.
00:41:19.000 And it's an insult to say to the men and women who left there the last thing they saw on American soil before going overseas and in some cases losing their lives to tell them that what they left was inherently a racist institution because of a name.
00:41:34.000 That's unacceptable to the president and rightfully so.
00:41:37.000 And I would also note: where do you draw the line here?
00:41:40.000 I'm told that no longer can you find on HBO Gone with the Wind because somehow that is now offensive.
00:41:48.000 Where do you draw the line?
00:41:49.000 Is it, should George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and James Madison be erased from history?
00:41:54.000 What about FDR and because of internment camps?
00:41:57.000 Should he be erased from history or Lyndon Johnson, who has a history of documented racist statements?
00:42:03.000 And finally, what about people that are alleged by the media to be segregationist?
00:42:08.000 NBC tells us Joe Biden didn't just compromise with segregationists.
00:42:12.000 He fought for their causes in schools, experts say.
00:42:14.000 CNN tells us letters from Joe Biden reveal how he sought support of segregationists in the fight against busting.
00:42:20.000 Washington Post tells us that Biden's tough talk on 1970 schools desegregation plans could get him new scrutiny.
00:42:26.000 And there are several more where that came from.
00:42:28.000 So I'll leave you with the question.
00:42:30.000 Should we then rename the Biden Welcome Center?
00:42:33.000 Thanks very much, guys.
00:42:34.000 And by the way, I want to make something very clear.
00:42:37.000 My bloodline fought for the Union.
00:42:41.000 My bloodline fought for the North.
00:42:42.000 So here I am, multi-generations later, of my great-great-great-grandparents who fought in the Civil War.
00:42:50.000 Now I am the one advocating that the enemies of my ancestors are allowed to still have their monuments up.
00:42:59.000 My bloodline fought in the Civil War.
00:43:02.000 I don't play on the left's terrain.
00:43:04.000 I understand the left far too well.
00:43:07.000 I know the multi-dimensional thinking that they're on here.
00:43:10.000 I don't accept their premise.
00:43:12.000 HBO Max is removing Gone with the Wind.
00:43:14.000 Is that where we draw the line?
00:43:16.000 Where's the line?
00:43:17.000 For you Senate Republicans out there, for you weak-kneed establishment Republicans that love your crony donors, that love your retreats in the mountains in the summer to be able to talk about how you have deindustrialized our entire country, who don't take a stand on anything, but you told us to go give you power.
00:43:34.000 You told us to give you power.
00:43:35.000 You said, go vote for us in numbers.
00:43:37.000 Please give us power.
00:43:39.000 We'll fight when it matters.
00:43:41.000 This is a fight that now matters, where kids are getting kicked out of school, where kids are losing their jobs because they support the president, because they support the Bible, and you are nowhere to be seen.
00:43:51.000 Instead, you guys are giving these ridiculous talking points that probably could have been written by Alexandria Casio-Cortez.
00:43:58.000 What is different than what you are effectively saying than Elon Omar?
00:44:01.000 Nothing.
00:44:02.000 You might as well go join the other party.
00:44:04.000 I would rather fight with 40 good senators than 54 bad ones.
00:44:08.000 I'm so sick and tired of having to defend these people.
00:44:10.000 I'm sick and tired of having to defend the people on the Republican side that placate, that overly pander to people that bitterly hate our country.
00:44:19.000 And guess what?
00:44:20.000 I'm an authority figure on this because I'm not even that passionate about the issue.
00:44:25.000 But I am passionate about seeing a deconstruction of everything that our country stands for.
00:44:30.000 And I know why they are doing this.
00:44:31.000 This is a turnkey issue.
00:44:33.000 This is something that the left knows that if they are able to take down the history of Texas, take down the history of Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, they are able to take down everything.
00:44:44.000 Oh, why not take down the Jefferson Memorial because he owns slaves?
00:44:47.000 Why not take down the Washington Monument? 0.69
00:44:49.000 Because he owns slaves.
00:44:50.000 Why not shred the U.S. Constitution?
00:44:53.000 This is a gateway drug to the fundamental redefinition and destruction of America from within. 0.81
00:45:00.000 Kaylee also referenced Joe Biden's work with segregationists in the Senate decades ago.
00:45:06.000 Should we then rename the Biden Welcome Center?
00:45:08.000 Is this the new line?
00:45:09.000 I mean, I might support that.
00:45:11.000 But by the way, after he wins, they're probably going to run him out of the White House.
00:45:14.000 Once they get power, they will remove him or puppeteer him.
00:45:17.000 They're going to use him as a Trojan horse.
00:45:20.000 If you whitewash your history, you can never learn from your mistakes.
00:45:24.000 Ever.
00:45:25.000 How is it fair to our ancestors to use rules and laws that are passed today that didn't exist back then?
00:45:33.000 I'm old enough to remember when Barack Obama supported traditional marriage.
00:45:37.000 Should we get rid of his library?
00:45:39.000 And now, with Gone with the Wind being canceled, it makes you wonder what other movies are on the chopping block.
00:45:44.000 They're going to probably get rid of To Kill a Mockingbird.
00:45:46.000 They're probably going to get rid of every other...
00:45:49.000 They already got rid of Tom Sawyer, right?
00:45:50.000 They got rid of all the great books of Huckleberry Finn.
00:45:54.000 They've already canceled the Bible because there's slavery in the Bible, despite the Bible denouncing slavery and having liberation from sin.
00:46:01.000 Did you know that Adjusted for Inflation, Gone with the Wind, is the highest ever grossing movie of all time?
00:46:07.000 It also starred the first ever black woman to win an Oscar, Hattie McDaniel.
00:46:11.000 But they'll never mention that.
00:46:12.000 It doesn't matter to HBO Max.
00:46:14.000 All that matters to them is kowtowing and placating to the radical left.
00:46:20.000 This move comes less than two days after filmmaker John Ridley argued in a Los Angeles opinion piece that the 1939 film not only ignored the horrors of slavery, but also perpetuated some of the most painful stereotypes of people of color.
00:46:31.000 Again, it was made in 1939.
00:46:33.000 What kind of other retrospective historical cleansing are you guys going to do?
00:46:38.000 And the answer to that question is quite a lot.
00:46:41.000 A lot.
00:46:43.000 They will go and delete every piece of history that you might enjoy.
00:46:47.000 Everything.
00:46:48.000 This is nothing new. 0.80
00:46:49.000 They did this in the French Revolution.
00:46:50.000 Did you know that after the French Revolution, they took power.
00:46:53.000 They tried to start over at year zero.
00:46:55.000 They got rid of the agrarian-based calendar. 0.95
00:46:56.000 They went to a 10-day, a week calendar. 0.90
00:46:58.000 The Bolsheviks burned their entire history. 0.93
00:47:00.000 The Russian Revolution was about cleaning everything before that. 0.94
00:47:03.000 This is what the cultural revolution was. 0.62
00:47:05.000 The 2011 civil rights film, The Help, is now considered controversial.
00:47:10.000 It has surged in Netflix in recent weeks since George Floyd's death, becoming the most watched film on the streaming platform.
00:47:16.000 Still, critics say the story focused on the perspective of a white character as opposed to black co-stars.
00:47:22.000 It also was directed by a white man, which apparently is a crime now.
00:47:27.000 It's being criticized as it furthers the racist tropes of a white savior.
00:47:32.000 2011.
00:47:33.000 2011.
00:47:36.000 The legend of Bagger Vance, made in year 2000, has been slammed for repeating awful narratives around black people.
00:47:44.000 They're probably going to cancel Blazing Saddles.
00:47:47.000 What about Tropic Thunder?
00:47:48.000 Here's an interesting one.
00:47:49.000 Do you think they're going to cancel Django Unchained?
00:47:53.000 Django is a slave.
00:47:55.000 I don't know. 0.98
00:47:57.000 We'll see what's next.
00:47:58.000 They also canceled Live PD, which was honestly the definition of police transparency.
00:48:03.000 Cops has also been canceled after running for 32 years.
00:48:07.000 As an aside, the loss of these two shows will probably mean the loss of major recruitment tools for police officers, which they want.
00:48:14.000 Of course they do.
00:48:15.000 This is the left's new version of book burning.
00:48:17.000 It's even worse, actually, than book burning.
00:48:19.000 It's even worse.
00:48:20.000 They are going and deleting all pieces of intellectual material that do not harmonize with their sinister, backwards worldview.
00:48:27.000 Censorship, plain and simple, no matter how they dress it up, is being anti-racist or coming to grips with systemic racism of white privilege they weren't aware of.
00:48:36.000 This is a brazen attempt to destabilize the country from within.
00:48:40.000 They want to divide and conquer on postmodern terms.
00:48:43.000 For power, they pit people against each other.
00:48:46.000 Go back in the archives of the Charlie Kirk show and listen to the KGB episode.
00:48:50.000 It will send chills down your spine.
00:48:54.000 Now, mind you, Marx made victimhood the origin and the engine of the proletarian revolution.
00:49:01.000 Marx said that history and all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles, end quote.
00:49:08.000 But for Marx, as we've often said on the show, he was inspired by the French Revolution philosopher Rousseau.
00:49:14.000 Marx stole his best stuff from Rousseau, who stole his best stuff from Plato, who worked to overturn anything that affirmed the work of civilizing institutions.
00:49:24.000 He knew that the French Revolution needed to destroy what had come before to make way for the revolution.
00:49:30.000 Rousseau was all about grievances.
00:49:32.000 It was mobilizing people that had resentments and grievances.
00:49:37.000 On social contract, Rousseau wrote this.
00:49:39.000 Man is born free, but everywhere else is in chains.
00:49:42.000 John Locke fundamentally disagreed with this.
00:49:45.000 This was the Lockean versus Rousseauian divergence.
00:49:49.000 French Revolution, Rousseau, American Revolution, John Locke.
00:49:53.000 It's emblematic of a view of human nature that conceives of human beings as naturally good and benevolent.
00:49:59.000 We are now having a fundamental discussion on original sin and whether it exists.
00:50:04.000 So if you're sitting around scratching what on earth is driving these people, it's this. 1.00
00:50:08.000 They are useful idiots. 1.00
00:50:10.000 So look, I want to leave you with some hope. 1.00
00:50:12.000 For those of you that have faith in Jesus Christ like I do, I'm going to read you a caption from the letter sent to the President Trump by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.
00:50:21.000 Now before I do, I want to say if I didn't believe in God, I would not be able to make sense of what's happening right now.
00:50:26.000 I can't imagine not believing in a higher power when I see all this.
00:50:31.000 The president recently shared this message publicly, and I'm glad he did.
00:50:35.000 Here's what it said towards the end of the note.
00:50:38.000 I believe that the attack to which you were subjected is part of the orchestrated media narrative, which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions, not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime, not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction.
00:50:55.000 The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread truth, but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters.
00:51:07.000 However, it is important that the good, who are the majority, wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes.
00:51:19.000 It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard.
00:51:25.000 What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States and all of humanity from this enormous attack on the enemy.
00:51:35.000 Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is.
00:51:47.000 An infernal deception.
00:51:50.000 That is the Holy Spirit at work when I hear those words.
00:51:54.000 God bless the Archbishop for saying this and wake up, America.
00:51:58.000 Republicans, find a spine.
00:52:02.000 Fight for our country.
00:52:04.000 Those of us in the culture war right now, not in the halls of Congress, I'm telling you right now, it is the worst we have ever experienced.
00:52:12.000 We are sending a distress call.
00:52:13.000 It is our Dunkirk moment out here.
00:52:16.000 We are losing our country.
00:52:18.000 And you guys are out there debating whether or not we should rename statues.
00:52:23.000 We do not have an opposition party.
00:52:25.000 We have an opposition president.
00:52:27.000 And I'm afraid that if we do not stop this right now, we are going to be the perpetual minority.
00:52:32.000 But you guys might get your assigned contracts.
00:52:34.000 Your kids will still go in the schools you want them to go into.
00:52:37.000 And you won't lose your board positions when you stop being senators or congresspeople.
00:52:41.000 But I'm telling you right now, we need all the support we're going to get, or we will no longer have a country.
00:52:46.000 Please check out Turning Point USA, everybody.

00:53:19.000 God bless.
