00:01:17.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:01:19.000 It's Friday, July 24th, 2026, and we are at the Y Refi Studios, both remote and in Phoenix, Arizona.

00:01:26.000 Blake's holding it down with the mic flag.

00:01:28.000 You keep calling it the mobile Y Refi Studio, but I feel like only one Y Refi Studio has.

00:01:35.000 I don't want to bicker with you today.

00:01:36.000 It's Friday.

00:01:37.000 I'm feeling.

00:01:38.000 Light and airy because it's Friday.

00:01:41.000 We're rolling into the weekend.

00:01:42.000 It's going to be a great weekend.

00:01:44.000 We're going to start off today's show with a bang.

00:01:47.000 If you saw the cold open with Elon Musk, that was a great interview.

00:01:50.000 I recommend people watch it.

00:01:51.000 He did a great job in that.

00:01:53.000 But we've got Evan Barker.

00:01:56.000 Evan Barker is somebody that I've been following for a while.

00:02:00.000 She's a former Democrat operative and fundraiser.

00:02:03.000 She raised over $50 million for Democrats.

00:02:08.000 Some of them very far left.

00:02:10.000 And she's the author of a new book called Nothing Left Confessions of a Democrat Operative.

00:02:17.000 Evan, welcome to the show.

00:02:19.000 It's great to have you.

00:02:20.000 I cannot wait to have this discussion.

00:02:24.000 It's so good to see you.

00:02:25.000 Welcome, welcome.

00:02:26.000 Yeah, long time to see you.

00:02:27.000 I think I saw you at a tournament.

00:02:29.000 I know, right?

00:02:30.000 I have.

00:02:31.000 I was going to say, I've met you in person once.

00:02:34.000 It was brief because I am always running around like a crazy person at our events, but I saw you there.

00:02:39.000 And it's great to have you on the show.

00:02:41.000 This was something that we've Plan to do with Charlie because we were in touch just here and there, and I saw your journey play out.

00:02:51.000 You have this new book, and it's Confessions.

00:02:54.000 It's Nothing Left Confessions of a Democrat Operative.

00:02:57.000 You raised over $50 million for Democrats.

00:03:01.000 You've worked with people that people listening to the show will have heard of Abdul El Sayed.

00:03:08.000 You worked with AOC's team, with Bernie's team, with Jasmine Crockett.

00:03:12.000 You've at least Been around the same circles as Ilhan Omar, Jamal Bowman, Brad Lander, Cori Bush, Justice Democrats, and other DSA aligned PACs.

00:03:23.000 And then something happened.

00:03:25.000 You put out a TikTok to your 60 followers, and your world forever changed.

00:03:30.000 Why don't you start there?

00:03:32.000 Yeah, my world forever changed that day.

00:03:34.000 You know, I went to the DNC in 2024, just like you did.

00:03:38.000 I think we briefly talked about how you guys were also there.

00:03:42.000 And at that point, I had actually been out of progressive politics.

00:03:46.000 For a couple of years.

00:03:50.000 I had a little baby boy in June of 2022.

00:03:53.000 And after I had him, I decided to take a step back from fundraising and just focus on being a mom.

00:03:59.000 And we can talk more later about how motherhood actually also helped reshape my political views quite a bit.

00:04:07.000 But I decided in 2024, after it was apparent that Joe Biden would not be the nominee, to go to the Democratic National Convention in the hopes that I might see them remake themselves.

00:04:20.000 At this point, I was already a little disillusioned, to say the least, just because all of the horrible experiences I had working for all of those people that you just mentioned.

00:04:32.000 Um, you know, I went to the Dnc and I gave myself permission to be re-inspired um, but when I got there and I saw it in person, it was even worse than I remembered, and I knew at that moment that there was no way in hell Kamala Harris was going to win, and I actually ended up leaving night three of the Dnc right after Oprah Winfrey spoke and I write about this in my book.

00:04:59.000 I left and I came home a day early, and when I got home, I decided that I was officially, truly done working in Democratic politics, and so I posted a video on tick tock.

00:05:11.000 I thought it was only gonna go out to like 60 people.

00:05:15.000 The people that I worked with followed me and I want it was basically my resignation letter and uh, instead I woke up and there was millions of views and Charlie Kirk dm'd me.

00:05:28.000 Um, it was like people were talking about on FOX NEWS, like it was.

00:05:32.000 It turned into this like totally whirlwind experience that I was not prepared for at all, So, I brought it up here.

00:05:40.000 I have your book in front of me in PDF.

00:05:42.000 I'm getting a big kick out of this.

00:05:44.000 Before Oprah's speech was over, I was out the door.

00:05:49.000 This is not the party I once supported.

00:05:51.000 There is nothing left.

00:05:52.000 I like that image.

00:05:53.000 But you mentioned that this was the culmination of very negative experiences you had with all those other candidates that had been kind of this cascade of bad stuff.

00:06:05.000 Can you elaborate on that?

00:06:06.000 Because, I mean, it's one thing politics is a lot of work, but I gather it's something more than that.

00:06:11.000 It's like ideologically very negative.

00:06:13.000 Yeah, you know, I started supporting, so I grew up in a union family.

00:06:18.000 Like my mom's side of the family, they were all like union Democrats.

00:06:22.000 My grandpa was like an elected official in the union, in the laborers, construction worker union, carpenters, bricklayers.

00:06:30.000 And, you know, I grew up supporting Dems.

00:06:33.000 And I got activated by Obama's campaign in 2008.

00:06:40.000 The Affordable Care Act, the pre-existing conditions clause of it really helped me because I'm also born with a.

00:06:46.000 Pre-existing lung disease similar to cystic fibrosis, and so you know, I thought that the Democratic Party fought for people like me, and over time I watched my own family members slowly turn against them, and at first it was confusing to me, but once I started working deeper in the progressive movement I had worked with establishment Democrats prior to 2018,

00:07:12.000 but after Donald Trump was elected in 2016, I started working with more of the far left wing of the party, And I was really inspired at that time by Bernie Sanders' message, because he was the anti-establishment option in the Democratic Party.

00:07:32.000 And I was frustrated with the establishment for, in my view, not really doing anything except for the status quo for people.

00:07:39.000 And I blamed them for my family's disaffection.

00:07:43.000 But once I got into Bernie's movement, you know, and I visited, I was actually with AOC and Bernie the very first day they ever met you guys, like the very first day.

00:07:54.000 At a rally in Kansas.

00:07:56.000 It was one month after she won her primary upset.

00:07:59.000 It was their first joint appearance together.

00:08:03.000 And, you know, at first, the progressive populist movement seemed good.

00:08:07.000 It seemed like they were focused on economic populism.

00:08:11.000 And then as it changed, it began to change with AOC.

00:08:15.000 It began to change with Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar.

00:08:20.000 And all of these, there was all these other issues that they started bringing into it, like defund the police.

00:08:28.000 and abolishing ICE and all of this, you know, the trans ideology.

00:08:35.000 And especially for me, it was the race politics, to be honest with you.

00:08:40.000 Because, you know, I grew up in a working class family.

00:08:43.000 I've lived in trailer parks, you know, growing up as a kid.

00:08:46.000 And my mom and grandma still really, really struggle.

00:08:50.000 And I would be in these Zoom meetings where I was expected to espouse my privilege to people and say that I was privileged just because of One aspect of me, which is my skin color.

00:09:03.000 And it just felt so wrong.

00:09:05.000 And then it just kept getting worse and worse.

00:09:08.000 I'm reading a Wall Street Journal review of your book.

00:09:12.000 And it says this gentleman says the value in Ms. Barker's memoir, other than the laughs, lies in its depiction of her party's biggest and least acknowledged problem, its guilt ridden donors and the web of cash flush activist groups, anti capitalist nonprofits, and issue oriented super PACs they sustain.

00:09:31.000 Her book abounds with busybody advocacy groups, donor advisory networks, and consultancies run by know nothing 20 somethings.

00:09:40.000 The donor aspect of the left wing apparatus is very fascinating to me. 0.60

00:09:45.000 But, you know, I did bring up the race issue.

00:09:47.000 So take this wherever you want to go.

00:09:48.000 Well, actually, they're completely tied in together.

00:09:51.000 So, you know, starting, well, there were glimpses of this before 2020, but especially after 2020.

00:09:58.000 I would say that the donor class, in conjunction with the consultant class in the Democratic Party, completely changed the leadership class of the Democratic Party by absolutely demanding full submission to these racial politics ideologies.

00:10:18.000 And what I mean by that is I actually heard, and this is not something that was ever publicly announced, right?

00:10:24.000 So the general public doesn't even know about this, but like George Soros's organization, for instance, they put out a pledge to only fund organizations in the Democratic Party that were led by people of color for five years,

00:10:41.000 which is, I mean, I saw personally people that were turned down for jobs because, you know, the organization realized they needed to have like the right identity leading their organization or they would could be denied funding.

00:11:00.000 And it just, it had a real systemic effect.

00:11:03.000 You know, I myself, I, you know, was pressured at times, you know, there was a lot of social and peer pressure.

00:11:11.000 To not hire white men, especially I.

00:11:14.000 I feel very bad about this, but you know I this book is called confessions of a Democratic Operative, so I have to confess my own sins too.

00:11:21.000 Right I um, you know I was in positions of hiring and when I would get resumes, the very first thing I did is google their names on the internet to see what their race was, to see if they were a man, and if they were, I didn't set up interviews with them, and this happened all throughout the Democratic Party.

00:11:41.000 There was a systemic push in the party To discriminate against white people.

00:11:47.000 And it came down on high from the very highest levels of the party.

00:11:52.000 That is not only racist, it's just so bad.

00:11:57.000 I mean, you have a son now.

00:11:59.000 And so I can imagine you wrestling with this because, on the one hand, you're like, I like that I could get health care because of what Obama did, which I can acknowledge in your personal position, you could appreciate that.

00:12:13.000 And yet it comes with all this other stuff.

00:12:15.000 There's another story from your book.

00:12:18.000 One of the donors had a voicemail message.

00:12:21.000 And it announces, if you are not a woman of color, please do not bother leaving a voicemail. 1.00

00:12:26.000 I won't donate to you. 0.99

00:12:28.000 Still another, an heiress to an oil fortune, lavishes money on left wing groups, Ms. Barker reasonably surmises, to try and right her family's wrongs.

00:12:37.000 The way you paint it, it's just so systemic and so unspoken that you don't even need a written rule somewhere or policy somewhere.

00:12:45.000 It was just the culture and continues to be the culture of the left.

00:12:51.000 You said that the Democrats learned the wrong lesson from Obama.

00:12:55.000 And they completely turned instead of to uniting race, you know, I guess colorblindness, as Obama kind of put it, they turned to identity politics.

00:13:05.000 And that has been their undoing.

00:13:07.000 Yeah, they believed that they could recreate his coalition by going towards a demographics as destiny idea. 0.69

00:13:17.000 And so to me, what that always meant is that they no longer felt like they needed to win back the white working class.

00:13:25.000 people like my family in the middle of the country.

00:13:27.000 And honestly, they didn't want to win those people back either because they thought that they could just continue winning by appealing to young people and people of color.

00:13:39.000 Well, you know, as we saw in the 2024 election, a lot of young people ended up voting for Donald Trump and so did a lot of people of color because the reality is, is that the white working class and working class people of other races actually share a lot of the same values.

00:13:57.000 And for some reason, the Democrats don't understand this.

00:14:01.000 It's part of the reason they have this obsession with flipping Texas.

00:14:04.000 Even though they're not going to flip Texas, they think Texas is more valuable in working towards than a place like where I come from in Missouri, where more recently they elected a Democrat to statewide than in Texas.

00:14:16.000 And it's because they know that they would need to moderate in order to win Missouri.

00:14:21.000 And they refuse to do that.

00:14:23.000 They won't do it.

00:14:27.000 This is all incredible.

00:14:28.000 I'm just.

00:14:28.000 I'm looking through the book here.

00:14:30.000 I like one of your candidates you were speaking with, and then she was keeping in touch with you afterwards.

00:14:38.000 She wanted to talk to me about her dating life and have me set her up on dates, but she refused to date white men. 0.60

00:14:44.000 She said she was physically repulsed by them.

00:14:50.000 And if you keep reading it, she ends up going on a ayahuasca journey.

00:14:58.000 And the whole point is to. 1.00

00:15:01.000 I guess, rid herself of the demons from her white ancestry because she's mixed race. 1.00

00:15:08.000 So it was almost like a racial exorcism. 0.98

00:15:11.000 It's so racist.

00:15:12.000 It's so racist. 0.98

00:15:13.000 And the projection from the left is that we're all a bunch of racists.

00:15:17.000 You saw that Jasmine Crockett quote from just this week with the Smithsonian hearing talking about this was a white pride rally at the Congress.

00:15:28.000 Evan Barker, thank you so much.

00:15:30.000 I want to have you on again soon to keep talking about this.

00:15:33.000 We're going to.

00:15:33.000 I mean, I think it's a really important story that you're telling.

00:15:36.000 And nothing left Confessions of a Left Wing Operative by Evan Barker.

00:15:41.000 Thank you so much for joining.

00:15:42.000 Thanks, Andrew.

00:15:43.000 We'll be back with Michael Watley.

00:15:51.000 I want to talk to you about an issue so many Americans face, and that's health insurance.

00:15:57.000 There's an organization I really, really appreciate called Christian Healthcare Ministries.

00:16:02.000 CHM is a faith based alternative to health insurance.

00:16:06.000 And this is real stuff, folks.

00:16:08.000 Like, you got to listen in.

00:16:09.000 With CHM, you're not paying into a company's profit margin, you're investing in a community with less overhead than the competition.

00:16:17.000 You get reliable support through the giving and prayer of fellow members.

00:16:21.000 Members contribute every month to help pay for each other's medical bills, allowing believers to afford the care they need.

00:16:27.000 Because they're not insurance, you get access to your preferred doctor or hospital without network restrictions.

00:16:33.000 You heard that right.

00:16:34.000 If you want to see massive savings in your healthcare budget, CHM has four low cost programs for every stage of life, starting at just $115 a month.

00:16:44.000 Plus, you can enroll or switch your program at any time. 0.94

00:16:48.000 See why so many believers are taking a leap of faith?

00:16:51.000 Start today by visiting CHM.

00:16:53.000 Ministries.org slash Charlie and use promo code Charlie for a 50% credit towards your first month.

00:16:59.000 That's chministries.org slash Charlie and use promo code Charlie.

00:17:06.000 People being arrested 20 times, 30 times, 40 times, 50 times or more being put right back on the streets.

00:17:13.000 He's appointed magistrates and judges who man that revolving door and keep it rolling.

00:17:21.000 And of course, he released.

00:17:24.000 4,200 criminals.

00:17:28.000 4,200 criminals.

00:17:32.000 Because he didn't want them to get COVID when they were in prison.

00:17:36.000 Now joining us is Michael Watley, former chair of the RNC, and now he is the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate from the great state of North Carolina.

00:17:46.000 Welcome to the show, sir.

00:17:47.000 Good to have you.

00:17:48.000 It's great to be on with you.

00:17:50.000 It's great to be back on the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:17:52.000 Yes, sir.

00:17:53.000 Absolutely.

00:17:53.000 It's great to have you.

00:17:55.000 You are running a very, very important race as we look towards the midterm and how the shape of the Senate is going to take form.

00:18:04.000 And we want to make sure that we're getting the word out.

00:18:07.000 And I think you have hit the nail on the head with this messaging on crime, especially in North Carolina.

00:18:13.000 It is so critically important that we're locking criminals up that are violent, that are going to hurt innocent Americans in North Carolina, because it's become ground zero for some of the most radical left wing policies you can imagine, especially on the crime front.

00:18:29.000 Tell us about this speech you gave.

00:18:31.000 I thought it was brilliant.

00:18:32.000 What do North Carolinians need to know about Mr. Cooper, who you're running against?

00:18:38.000 I'm glad you asked.

00:18:39.000 You know, when you think about it, every election is important, right?

00:18:41.000 And it's a differentiation that you have to make in these elections to be able to have a conversation with the voters.

00:18:47.000 I'm fighting every day for every family.

00:18:49.000 I'm fighting for our kids.

00:18:51.000 I'm fighting for our future.

00:18:52.000 I'm fighting for a strong America.

00:18:54.000 Roy Cooper, on the other hand, he's fighting for criminals.

00:18:57.000 He's fighting for illegal aliens.

00:18:58.000 He's fighting for men who want to play in girls' sports and go in women's locker rooms. 0.73

00:19:03.000 And this is what he's been fighting for his entire career.

00:19:06.000 And when we start that conversation talking about the criminals, and you think about Roy Cooper, who was the worst governor in the history of North Carolina, which is a pretty low bar, but he is the worst governor that we have ever seen, the most pro criminal governor that we've ever had in North Carolina.

00:19:24.000 And this is a guy who, back in 2020, when BLM and Antifa were out there burning down our cities, did he call in the National Guard to put down those riots?

00:19:34.000 No.

00:19:34.000 He took off his COVID mask, he raised his fist.

00:19:37.000 And he went out and he marched with them.

00:19:38.000 You know, this is a guy who set up a revolving door to put criminals back on the streets again 20 times, 30 times, 40 times, 50 times or more.

00:19:46.000 As soon as the paperwork was done, they're back on the streets, usually before the police officers are even back on the streets.

00:19:53.000 And of course, he released 4,200 criminals, 4,200 hardened criminals that were released out of North Carolina's prisons because he didn't want them to get COVID.

00:20:04.000 And we're talking about the worst of the worst pedophiles, rapists, murderers that he put on the streets.

00:20:12.000 700 of them had committed felony assault, aggravated assault, sexual assault, assault with a deadly weapon. 0.95

00:20:18.000 Rape, you know, 51 of them had committed, had been serving life sentences.

00:20:23.000 80 of them had committed murder that Cooper put back on the streets.

00:20:26.000 And as soon as he put them there, what do you think happened?

00:20:30.000 They went right back to a life of crime.

00:20:32.000 They went right back to their ways.

00:20:34.000 And 2,200 of them have been rearrested since he put them back on the streets.

00:20:39.000 We've seen hundreds of them have committed violent felonies.

00:20:44.000 And it's really sad to say, 99 of them have committed sexual crimes.

00:20:48.000 So we're talking about rape, we're talking about sexual assault, we're talking about Child pornography charges, 99 of the worst, and 25 who've gone on to commit murder since Roy Cooper let him out there.

00:21:01.000 Probably the most famous one on that list is a guy named DeCarlos Brown Jr., who got rearrested and re released 13 more times before he got on a light rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina last summer and brutally murdered Irena Zarotska, a beautiful Ukrainian refugee who had her whole life ahead of her.

00:21:21.000 And Roy Cooper's got blood on his hands.

00:21:23.000 I wish that that story was the end of it, but there are 24 other families.

00:21:27.000 Who are going to have an open seat at the kitchen table every Christmas, every Easter, every Thanksgiving going forward because Cooper put those criminals back on the streets. 0.99

00:21:37.000 It's the most dangerous, reckless, and stupid decision ever made by a governor in North Carolina history. 0.99

00:21:44.000 Yeah, but sure, let's give him more power. 1.00

00:21:46.000 Let's just keep rewarding failure and give this guy a seat in the U.S. Senate.

00:21:51.000 It's obscene to me, but I have to, like, you know, and by the way, let me just say with Arena Zarutska, this was just before Charlie was killed.

00:22:01.000 And he famously said, We have to politicize what happened to Rena Zarutska because it was politics that let her get killed in the first place.

00:22:10.000 It was politics that let DeCarlos Brown Jr. out on the street to go hurt and kill more Americans, and in this case, a Ukrainian refugee who was innocent.

00:22:21.000 And it's infuriating to me, and I think infuriating to a lot of Americans, that this is what Democrats stand for.

00:22:27.000 They don't care about law abiding people getting murdered and maimed in the streets.

00:22:32.000 Because they think racism, they cry racism. 0.98

00:22:36.000 And in this case, Roy Cooper is just a white guilt, weak minded Democrat from North Carolina. 0.53

00:22:43.000 And I will never understand, Mr. Whatley, why on earth North Carolina will send people or Republicans to D.C., but they'll elect somebody like Roy Cooper at the state level.

00:22:55.000 I will never understand what's going on with the politics in that state, but we got to get you over the finish line.

00:23:01.000 Maybe dive into that.

00:23:03.000 We've seen this weird voting pattern in North Carolina where.

00:23:07.000 It just seems a little all over the place.

00:23:09.000 What is behind that exactly?

00:23:10.000 Do you have an answer?

00:23:11.000 We're a purple state.

00:23:12.000 You know, we're 30% Republican, we're 30% Democrat, we're 38.5% unaffiliated, which is our version of independence, and 1.5% other.

00:23:21.000 So every race that we have here is going to be really close.

00:23:24.000 And the way that that has tended to manifest itself over time is Democrats win governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and Republicans win Congress, Senate, and the president.

00:23:35.000 So, you know, we carried the state three times for President Trump.

00:23:38.000 I was, you know, I ran the state for him.

00:23:41.000 In 2016, and I was the state party chair in 2020, and then the RNC chair in 2024.

00:23:47.000 But in all three of those wins, they were very narrow, and the Democrats took the governorship in all three of them.

00:23:53.000 So we are a purple state, but we, you know, when you think about who those voters, those swing voters in the middle, are going to vote for, they are generally, you know, college educated, they're generally suburban, and they hate crazy.

00:24:08.000 And so they voted against Kamala Harris.

00:24:10.000 And I think that that's really important to know.

00:24:12.000 And they're going to vote against Roy Cooper because he was the worst governor in the history.

00:24:16.000 Of this state.

00:24:17.000 And we can talk about economic issues.

00:24:19.000 We can talk about crime issues.

00:24:22.000 We can talk about illegal immigration.

00:24:24.000 This is a guy who supported sanctuary cities.

00:24:26.000 This is a guy who vetoed legislation multiple times that tells sheriffs that they have to honor ICE detainers and get violent criminal illegal aliens the hell out of North Carolina.

00:24:36.000 So he has a track record that he's done everything he can to run away from.

00:24:41.000 I always like to point out that candidate Cooper really doesn't like Governor Cooper and all the things that he did.

00:24:47.000 When he's trying to talk about being a moderate right now, you know, he's just an absolute wrong fit for people in North Carolina.

00:24:54.000 He'd be better off running in California, New York, or Illinois.

00:24:58.000 Yeah, well, that's what's interesting about North Carolina because you do, I think you're right.

00:25:01.000 I think the vast majority of North Carolinians hate crazy, but then you have these pockets, these blue pockets around all those universities where the most radical ideas are festering, are taking root, and you get these radical activists in your state that skew some of this statewide politics.

00:25:19.000 As you mentioned, the governor.

00:25:20.000 Is supporting California politics in the South, which should have been a non starter.

00:25:28.000 When you talk to average North Carolinians, what are their concerns?

00:25:33.000 What do they want you to focus on?

00:25:34.000 Crime has to be huge, but what else?

00:25:37.000 Well, there's the economy, you know, and the fact is that over his 40 year career, you know, career politician Roy Cooper, he consistently fought and made things more expensive.

00:25:48.000 You know, so housing prices up 85% while he was the governor.

00:25:52.000 Health care costs, health care premiums up 183% while he was the governor.

00:25:57.000 Meanwhile, he's taking $400,000 from health care companies and executives for his campaign here, cozying up and saying he's going to get tough on them.

00:26:07.000 Rather ridiculous what he's looking at there.

00:26:10.000 But the fact is, you're right, that Charlotte, that Raleigh, that Durham, these are deep blue cities where we do have a very aggressive, radical Democratic base that is pointing it out.

00:26:23.000 But the Democratic Party itself has lost over 350,000 registered voters over the last 10 years because people are walking away from that party.

00:26:32.000 And the fact is that they know that that's not the party that they grew up with and it's not a party that they can support anymore.

00:26:39.000 You think about Roy Cooper vetoing the Parents Bill of Rights.

00:26:42.000 Who vetoes the Parents Bill of Rights?

00:26:44.000 He vetoed legislation that would have prevented transgender mutilation surgeries.

00:26:49.000 This is a guy who voted and fought for putting boys and girls' sports in place.

00:26:54.000 And men and women's locker rooms.

00:26:55.000 You know, these are radical positions way out of step with North Carolina.

00:26:59.000 Well, Michael Watley, you are running a very strong race, and I think you're getting stronger.

00:27:05.000 And it's all about turnout.

00:27:07.000 This is going to be all about turnout.

00:27:09.000 You've got to get these low propensity voters, you've got to harass them, call them, get their ballots in the box.

00:27:15.000 Folks, if you want to get involved, go to michaelwatley.com.

00:27:19.000 That's his campaign site.

00:27:21.000 Pitch in some money.

00:27:23.000 This is a candidate, Michael Watley, who's on.

00:27:25.000 Thank you for joining us, sir.

00:27:26.000 You are getting stronger, and your message is getting stronger.

00:27:29.000 Like more potent.

00:27:31.000 I can see it happening.

00:27:33.000 I think you have a great shot here in North Carolina.

00:27:36.000 I think that we need to hold Tom Tellis' seat.

00:27:39.000 We need to get rid of Tom Tellis.

00:27:40.000 Thank goodness he's retiring.

00:27:42.000 And we need to replace that seat with a strong conservative, a proven conservative.

00:27:47.000 That is you, Michael Whatley.

00:27:48.000 Thank you for joining the show.

00:27:50.000 And again, please, michaelwhatley.com, support this man, get him to the U.S. Senate.

00:27:57.000 We need him to keep the majority.

00:27:59.000 God bless you, sir.

00:28:00.000 Appreciate it.

00:28:01.000 Well, thank you very much.

00:28:02.000 And when we win this race, we are going to have a conservative champion and an ally for President Trump in the Senate from North Carolina.

00:28:09.000 Amen.

00:28:10.000 Godspeed, sir.

00:28:14.000 Hi, folks.

00:29:13.000 Blake, I want to talk about Shiloh.

00:29:16.000 And if you don't know the name Shiloh and why it's in the news, Blake is about to explain it to you.

00:29:21.000 All righty.

00:29:22.000 Well, this is, you might, it might stir something in your, like the deep recesses of your brain as I describe this to you.

00:29:30.000 So this is, this is a story we used to see a ton of first Trump year, the first peak woke era.

00:29:35.000 And this is one of, it shows how things have changed.

00:29:39.000 So Shiloh Hendrix is a woman, she's 37 in Minnesota, and she was the subject of a viral video last year where basically, She was, I believe, at a playground, kind of in a public spot.

00:29:52.000 And this Somali child, about nine years old, who had an ankle monitor because they had a habit of wandering away.

00:29:59.000 I guess their parents couldn't take great care of them.

00:30:03.000 And this child was like bothering her, bothering her kid.

00:30:07.000 And let's be frank, it was not her best moment.

00:30:11.000 She got angry at the kid.

00:30:12.000 She said something nasty to them.

00:30:13.000 And then the parent of this child starts just taping her, just tapes her, gets a camera in her face.

00:30:19.000 And it's like, you said a slur, say it again, say it again, say it again.

00:30:22.000 And she basically gets exasperated and she says a slur on the video.

00:30:26.000 That's not good.

00:30:28.000 Shouldn't do that.

00:30:29.000 But what is egregious is she then got charged with disorderly conduct.

00:30:33.000 And they have spent the past year in Minnesota prosecuting this woman.

00:30:37.000 And yesterday she was convicted of this.

00:30:40.000 She was convicted because she said a bad word on a video to someone who was in her face demanding that she say something bad.

00:30:47.000 And she was just fined $1,000.

00:30:50.000 She was given a stayed.

00:30:51.000 90 day jail sentence, and she has to do 200 hours of community service. 0.94

00:30:55.000 So, not the worst miscarriage of justice ever, but people are reacting to this, and we should react to it because, let's be real, this is Minnesota, so we already have infinite Somali fraud. 0.64

00:31:12.000 There's a lot of crimes that go down in Minnesota that they're basically ignoring, and on top of that, no one would ever be prosecuted for, let's be frank, calling a white person a racial slur on a camera. 0.80

00:31:23.000 That's called riding on a subway a lot.

00:31:24.000 You're going to encounter that. 0.99

00:31:26.000 This is a woman who was singled out and targeted because she was a white woman who had an unflattering image on camera.

00:31:33.000 I think you'd agree, Andrew.

00:31:34.000 And it doesn't like.

00:31:36.000 I totally agree.

00:31:36.000 You don't get criminally prosecuted.

00:31:39.000 You don't have your First Amendment rights taken away.

00:31:41.000 You're allowed to say mean things to people if they're in your face, if you don't attack them, if you don't physically assault them.

00:31:49.000 People argue with each other in public.

00:31:50.000 That's not a crime.

00:31:51.000 So, I mean, I totally agree on principle.

00:31:54.000 Listen, she ends up raising, I think, on a GoFundMe something like $900,000, okay?

00:32:01.000 Now she's gonna get 200 hours of community service and a small fine.

00:32:05.000 I don't care.

00:32:06.000 She probably is gonna make out in the positive on this, okay?

00:32:10.000 But I don't care.

00:32:11.000 To Blake's point, it's the principle of the thing.

00:32:14.000 This was not her best moment.

00:32:15.000 We get it.

00:32:16.000 We're not endorsing what she did, but we also can understand it.

00:32:21.000 This nine year old apparently was wearing an ankle monitor.

00:32:24.000 I haven't fact checked this, but I've seen this in a number of the social media posts. 0.74

00:32:27.000 This kid, either way, was on the loose, being an absolute, I would say, menace to society and this public place, this space, by the way, which is a larger theme that we need to talk about and we will talk about more, how America's public spaces, which are free, Have been overrun by migrants, by criminals, by people that are transgressive and antisocial.

00:32:52.000 They are no longer safe. 1.00

00:32:53.000 So if you think about the latchkey kids, the free range kids of the 70s and 80s and 90s, that world has been evaporated because of little Somali kids like this who's harassing this woman while she's trying to hang out with her kid at the park. 1.00

00:33:08.000 And so the American dream becomes a luxury. 1.00

00:33:11.000 People like Shiloh can't go to the park anymore because they get harassed by little miscreants like this Somali kid. 1.00

00:33:18.000 And then this other. 1.00

00:33:19.000 Guy comes, I guess he's a brown guy.

00:33:21.000 I don't think it was his parent.

00:33:22.000 Yeah, I made that mistake.

00:33:24.000 The person taping was not the dad, the dad was testifying at the trial.

00:33:27.000 I mixed that up.

00:33:27.000 I apologize.

00:33:28.000 Exactly.

00:33:29.000 The kid, the guy who was taping him was Sharmayke Omar, apparently.

00:33:35.000 So take the name as you will.

00:33:37.000 Sharmayke Omar starts provoking her. 1.00

00:33:40.000 She says a bad word.

00:33:42.000 Oh, well, to your point, since when do we prosecute people of color calling white people pejoratives?

00:33:50.000 And racist names.

00:33:52.000 Oh, yeah, that's right.

00:33:53.000 We don't do it.

00:33:53.000 I mean, it's worse than that.

00:33:55.000 If you're in one of these jurisdictions, like, you'll have, like, antisocial personalities will harass people, get in their face, like, deliberately trying to provoke them because if they react in any way, they'll feel justified in, like, punching them in the face.

00:34:10.000 There was a case, I believe this was in Oregon, where someone, like, basically got attacked and then they testified, well, they called me the N word during the attack and they got acquitted for the assault for that reason.

00:34:23.000 Like, we will not have our diverse multicultural society survive if we have two standards of justice, two different expectations for people in this country.

00:34:35.000 Everyone has the First Amendment right, period. 0.65

00:34:37.000 You can't make an example out of someone because you're desperate to prosecute someone who's a 30 something white woman, a Karen, as they would like to say. 0.53

00:34:47.000 Yeah, I think this is just a pure, unadulterated example of anti white discrimination. 0.52

00:34:54.000 That has been legalized in our judicial system.

00:34:58.000 I think the best point, Blake, that you made, and it's worth repeating, is that when we go on the subway, we go on public transportation, we go to a park, and we're called a racist slur, we're called a cracker, or whatever they want to call us, that doesn't count for anything in this country.

00:35:15.000 And nor should it, by the way, unless it is like an aggression to start a fight or something like that.

00:35:22.000 Maybe then you could make an argument.

00:35:24.000 But the point is, that's not what she was doing. 0.89

00:35:26.000 The guy provoked her, she said the word.

00:35:28.000 Okay.

00:35:29.000 She shouldn't have said it. 1.00

00:35:31.000 That is not grounds for stripping this woman of her First Amendment rights and then prosecuting and harassing her for a year.

00:35:38.000 This is the land of George Floyd, right here.

00:35:40.000 This is what's happening to Minneapolis Nice. 1.00

00:35:43.000 No, they're getting overrun by foreigners that want to prosecute Americans for using their God given freedoms. 1.00

00:35:50.000 Yeah, maybe she shouldn't have done it. 1.00

00:35:51.000 Oh, well.

00:35:54.000 For nearly 3,000 years, Homer's The Odyssey has shaped Western imagination.

00:36:00.000 It tells the story of Odysseus as he faces monsters, shipwrecks, False comforts and impossible choices on his long journey home.

00:36:09.000 As one of the foundational works of Western literature, Homer's epic is more than a mythology.

00:36:14.000 It explores permanent questions about courage, duty, loyalty, family, leadership, temptation, and the search for home.

00:36:22.000 In one of the epic's defining moments, Odysseus rejects the offer of immortality from the goddess Calypso, choosing instead the long and difficult journey home.

00:36:30.000 His decision reveals one of the central themes of the Odyssey that a life of duty, family, and home is greater than a life devoted to comfort or glory.

00:36:39.000 Achilles chose glory, Odysseus chose home.

00:36:42.000 That's why Hillsdale College has released its newest free online course, The Odyssey.

00:36:47.000 Top by Professor Benedict Whelan, the course reveals why Homer's masterpiece remains one of the greatest works of Western literature.

00:37:44.000 Hi, Danny.

00:37:44.000 How are you doing, buddy?

00:37:46.000 Doing all right.

00:37:46.000 And Blake and myself.

00:37:48.000 So let's get things started.

00:37:50.000 Who's our first up? 1.00

00:37:51.000 We have Kelsey. 1.00

00:37:53.000 Kelsey, please unmute yourself and welcome to the show. 0.74

00:37:57.000 Yes.

00:37:58.000 So, real quick before my question, I want to thank you for your election coverage this past Tuesday.

00:38:03.000 I enjoyed it and congratulations on your Arizona wins.

00:38:07.000 So, my question for you is yeah.

00:38:11.000 So, I've been hearing more and more about flock cameras, simply put.

00:38:15.000 One side claims they're a helpful tool for law enforcement to solve crimes.

00:38:18.000 The other side raises concerns that it's another step towards handing away our freedom of privacy.

00:38:24.000 And wondering what the CK show thoughts on this are and do the benefits outweigh the infringements?

00:38:30.000 That's a great question.

00:38:32.000 I've heard about this.

00:38:33.000 So, flock cameras, for those who don't know, I know Tucker's show did an episode on this.

00:38:38.000 A few others have talked about them.

00:38:40.000 Flock cameras, they're a kind of early iteration of technology we're going to be seeing a lot more now.

00:38:45.000 Their cameras, we've always had cameras, but what flock cameras are is they add this AI element to them where they build them and they put them in spots and they can track where cars are going and they can log the license plate automatically.

00:38:58.000 They can log the make and model of the car.

00:39:01.000 They can log which direction the car is going and send it all to a database.

00:39:06.000 And you can see how this would be pretty useful to law enforcement because basically, like, they can have a crime happen and they can be like, oh, there's reports of this.

00:39:18.000 Of maybe a certain type of car, go to the database and bam, they don't need to go and manually watch a ton of footage, which used to be that limit on how much security footage you could have, is someone would have to go watch it.

00:39:28.000 Now, it's like there's an AI robot watching it, and they can just collect way more data and use way more data.

00:39:36.000 And the claim for this is it will let them fight crime.

00:39:40.000 Now, there's a possible issue here.

00:39:44.000 Yeah, it tracks people whether they're doing stuff.

00:39:46.000 So, regular traffic cameras obviously only scan you or take pictures of you when you commit a crime of some sort.

00:39:55.000 This will scan every car that goes by, no matter what.

00:39:58.000 So, the police can literally be like, Show me every black F 150 that's driven past this street in the last day, and it'll show them like a long list of stuff.

00:40:06.000 Which I mean, I could see down the line, this could get a little scary depending on how they expand it.

00:40:13.000 So, that's really the concern is how is this going to be built out from here?

00:40:19.000 But I don't see like, so this is being implemented, but like, ShotSpotter in like Chicago was all taken away.

00:40:25.000 Like, I feel like that was much better technology that actually can be used to solve stuff.

00:40:29.000 Like, this I feel like is more.

00:40:31.000 Just worthless spying on people, kind of?

00:40:33.000 Well, it's definitely a great tool for law enforcement.

00:40:36.000 So I understand why law enforcement wants it because it can scan the license plates.

00:40:41.000 It can, you know, oftentimes what happens in a crime scene is they have to try and close down the egress, right?

00:40:48.000 So they try and block anywhere people can get out.

00:40:50.000 This gives them an added tool to be able to address that.

00:40:53.000 Now, my problem is that it does become a surveillance state, right?

00:40:58.000 And the company behind this flock is already expanding these AI tools, expanding.

00:41:04.000 Facial recognition, expanding into all kinds of different things.

00:41:07.000 So it becomes a surveillance state.

00:41:09.000 And here's my kind of basic, you know, thought on it is like, I just don't trust tech companies at all.

00:41:16.000 And, you know, there are, there are pay, you know, there's a cost to freedom and liberty, right?

00:41:23.000 And I think you have to weigh all those things in the balance.

00:41:26.000 My general disposition towards it is I'm very skeptical because tech companies have proven that they don't always put America first, right?

00:41:34.000 If they're willing to give up their H 1Bs, maybe I'll, I'll be able to be more sympathetic to you.

00:41:39.000 That's basically my general disposition. 0.99

00:41:41.000 I'll go the other way.

00:41:42.000 I get not trusting tech companies.

00:41:44.000 For me, the best argument against this is government.

00:41:47.000 That if it really was, we're only going to stop criminals, I'd get it.

00:41:52.000 But we've seen, for example, we saw the deep state, as it were, the intelligence apparatus of the U.S. colluded.

00:41:59.000 They pressured tech companies to suppress this New York Post story, suppress the Hunter Biden laptop, as an example.

00:42:06.000 And we've seen.

00:42:07.000 There was a very sinister thing when January 6th happened where a lot of Facebook data ended up getting leaked out to the press to basically cover the movements of people who were allegedly present at January 6th.

00:42:20.000 And then they were profiling people and doxing them even before they were actually charged with any crimes.

00:42:25.000 And so, where I can feel like this is ominous is it just seems frightening for any government apparatus to have that amount of information about what people are doing and where they're going.

00:42:38.000 And so, I just think of an example.

00:42:40.000 Let's say.

00:42:41.000 You're having, let's say we had a COVID type thing, and when they were saying you shouldn't be assembling for religious services, what if they were just starting to track every car that was going in the direction of where that church was, even if they didn't have people monitoring it?

00:42:57.000 And then at that point, oh, you can track every single person who's a member of this church because you can sense who's going to that church every Sunday.

00:43:04.000 It creates such a way for if you're the FBI and you're deciding, like when they were monitoring Latin Mass as a thing, you suddenly are just building data.

00:43:13.000 So here's everyone we know who's going.

00:43:15.000 Who's driving to this church that does the Latin Mass, which we've decided is this extremist threat?

00:43:20.000 It's a little too much information for the government to just be passively collecting at all times.

00:43:26.000 And that creeps me out a little bit.

00:43:27.000 And I can definitely understand why that worries people.

00:43:30.000 Well, it's also because you can't tell me that you're trying to solve crime when, like, in Chicago, you get rid of ShotSpotter, which actually helps solve crime, but then you're okay with flock being put in.

00:43:40.000 It's like you can't really tell me that your only concerns are crime when you haven't really done the first steps to actually solving the crime.

00:43:49.000 Yeah, I mean, a lot of liberal cities are taking them out right now.

00:43:56.000 So, LAPD suspended use, Mountain View, California suspended use or disabled it.

00:44:01.000 Berkeley, Houston, Cleveland.

00:44:03.000 All right.

00:44:03.000 So there are some of these left wing cities that are still standing.

00:44:07.000 It's tough because in Chicago, for example, 50% of crimes go unsolved, 50% of murders go unsolved.

00:44:12.000 So there are people who will die.

00:44:14.000 There are people who will get away with murder because we don't have these.

00:44:19.000 And so that's a calculation you need to make how much information are you willing to give government for the sake of having people not be murdered?

00:44:28.000 And that's, I mean, Benjamin Franklin pointed out that dilemma.

00:44:31.000 They've already been abused, though.

00:44:33.000 See, multiple cases of officers using the system to stalk ex partners or romantic interests or critics.

00:44:41.000 They've been used to stalk pro lifers.

00:44:44.000 Oh.

00:44:45.000 I didn't even know that.

00:44:46.000 But that's exactly what I was saying.

00:44:47.000 When in doubt, more surveillance is going to be used against.

00:44:50.000 I would say, here's my proposal.

00:44:52.000 It's going to be used by the bad guys.

00:44:53.000 Here's my proposal.

00:44:54.000 First, bring back ShotSpotter because there's nothing wrong with ShotSpotter.

00:44:58.000 And then, before we decide to have the panopticon to punish all crimes, how about we just actually punish crimes?

00:45:05.000 So, if you're going to have a vagrant on the subway who's terrorizing people, antisocial behavior, people doing these petty assaults, and then everything that hurts dropped, let's try stopping crime by punishing the crimes that we actually get.

00:45:16.000 Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

00:45:16.000 You can't do that.

00:45:17.000 And then once we do that, we can say, oh, there's too much crime still.

00:45:20.000 We should have the panopticon.

00:45:21.000 Here's our zero to 100.

00:45:24.000 That's a great question.

00:45:25.000 I'm really glad that's what I'm saying.

00:45:26.000 Yeah, here's my proposal.

00:45:28.000 If you have over a certain number of murders in your community, then it gets mandated, okay? 0.89

00:45:34.000 Or if you have a certain number of illegals in your community, how about that?

00:45:37.000 Everywhere else will be free from the surveillance state.

00:45:39.000 All right, who do we got next?

00:45:41.000 Don, I believe, right?

00:45:43.000 Don, unmute yourself and what's your question?

00:45:45.000 Hi, guys.

00:45:46.000 Thanks for taking my call.

00:45:48.000 Of course.

00:45:50.000 I started about 10 months ago.

00:45:52.000 I started hearing people talking about color revolutions.

00:45:57.000 I'd never heard of that before, so I looked into it, and that seems to be what's going on.

00:46:02.000 I was wondering what your opinion is.

00:46:07.000 All right.

00:46:08.000 That was a label Charlie really liked.

00:46:10.000 I think he got it.

00:46:11.000 I know.

00:46:12.000 I know Darren Beatty at Revolver would come on.

00:46:13.000 He would talk about that.

00:46:14.000 So, color revolution that comes from if you look at history, there's a lot of revolutions in other countries, and they love to give a color to them.

00:46:22.000 So, they're the Jasmine Revolution or the Orange Revolution, I think was one in Ukraine.

00:46:27.000 And it sort of describes these popular uprisings where there's a bunch of people rallying in the square, and then stuff happens, and the government loses support, and then the president has to flee in disgrace or whatever.

00:46:42.000 What was so cool about is how Darren, and I think Mike Benz was also an expert on this, as he'd lay it out, is how there's this is not really a purely popular activity.

00:46:51.000 It's a way of laundering a political change that often powerful people want to have happen.

00:46:56.000 So you'll have people in the square, and does a bunch of people rallying in a square mean that there's a popular mandate to change the government?

00:47:03.000 Well, no.

00:47:04.000 Like you can put 20,000 people in a square as a tiny minority of a country, even if it looks really impressive in person.

00:47:10.000 And so, as an example, that Orange Revolution in Ukraine.

00:47:13.000 You have tens of thousands of people in Kiev who say the government's bad, but the government's base of support was in the eastern part of the country.

00:47:19.000 They're not in Kiev.

00:47:22.000 But then they're demonstrating, you have media coverage, and then if they start, maybe they start demonstrating, they start pressuring the police.

00:47:30.000 And if the police ever shoot, you go, The police have fired upon the peaceful protesters.

00:47:34.000 This government has lost legitimacy, and you stoke it.

00:47:37.000 You stoke international condemnation.

00:47:39.000 You stoke NGOs to say this government must go.

00:47:42.000 And eventually, government falls from power.

00:47:46.000 And now, I don't think we're in that in the U.S. right now, but that is a pretty good characterization of a lot of the phenomena that went into.

00:47:54.000 The 2020 election, as an example, where Donald Trump was mounting a legal challenge to how things had gone down in the states, and this was presented as an unforgivable offense to overturn democracy.

00:48:06.000 You had law firms who would refuse to represent his legal challenge, and then after J6, you had them shutting down his bank account and they're turfing out Parlor and all of this.

00:48:17.000 On top of that, the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop, there was just a lot of para state actors, not the government, not really.

00:48:26.000 Local police.

00:48:26.000 It was just NGOs and the media teaming up to say Donald Trump cannot be president anymore.

00:48:33.000 And that feels a lot like a color of the world.

00:48:36.000 I think of the mostly peaceful Floyd-a-Palooza riots of 2020 when I think of the U.S. base.

00:48:42.000 Everyone's saying it's all mostly peaceful while they're burning everything.

00:48:45.000 Yeah.

00:48:47.000 It basically was so what Blake is getting at is a lot of this comes from the old Soviet Union, right? 0.78

00:48:54.000 These.

00:48:56.000 Countries would get overthrown.

00:48:58.000 You had the Tulip Revolution, the Rose Revolution, and a lot of international actors assumed that USAID, National Endowment for Democracy, Open Societies Foundation, coordinated with NGOs and international press outlets, would cause these regimes to fall in order to build up and expand the influence of NATO, the EU, that sort of thing.

00:49:19.000 Those same actors that orchestrated that are deeply embedded within the NGO structure in the United States, and they have absolutely used this same formula against President Trump.

00:49:30.000 And I think George Floyd is probably the single greatest example that we have in 2020.

00:49:35.000 But you could also look at the anti ICE riots.

00:49:38.000 That's why there's so much money and so much coordination on the NGO side because they want to spark at least the optics that there is a popular uprising against an unpopular president.

00:49:49.000 And so they use wedge issues or they use events that they think they can then garner a lot of attention with, right?

00:49:59.000 So we saw that with Renee Good.

00:50:01.000 Uh, the her when she was killed, uh, basically being a lunatic in a car in Minnesota, uh, protesting ICE.

00:50:09.000 That's that we're not happy that she got killed, but we're not happy she got killed. 0.85

00:50:14.000 But at the same time, there's a reason she was killed because she was disobeying police and she was being a maniac.

00:50:20.000 Well, no, even just get beyond that, that ended up being used.

00:50:22.000 They tried to use, yeah, go ahead, they tried to use Renee Good to just basically say, because this one incident happened in one city, we don't have we can't have ICE, we can't have deportations.

00:50:31.000 We can't have a border anymore.

00:50:33.000 They really tried to stoke that.

00:50:35.000 And I think in 2019, 2020, it would have worked.

00:50:39.000 We've gotten better at our defenses against these tactics.

00:50:43.000 So the right was able to say, as you said, Andrew, it's sad that that woman died, but we actually knew to say, this is what they wanted.

00:50:51.000 The left want these people to get out there, put themselves in danger, cause friction where someone panics or someone makes a mistake and someone dies, and use that to overturn our laws.

00:51:02.000 You have to recognize what they're doing and basically call them on their BS.

00:51:05.000 In 2020, they already did.

00:51:07.000 I mean, they were successful.

00:51:08.000 They were successful then, but this time it didn't work.

00:51:10.000 We're still getting better at it.

00:51:12.000 We wised up.

00:51:14.000 Well, here's what you look for, Don.

00:51:17.000 You look for an inciting incident, which you had Renee Good and Alex Pretty in Minneapolis.

00:51:23.000 They were being completely engineered and trained to go, you know, cause good trouble, as the left likes to call it.

00:51:31.000 So they're going to get in the faces of these ICE officers.

00:51:33.000 They're going to cause some terrible incident to happen.

00:51:37.000 Somebody loses their life.

00:51:38.000 Then what happens?

00:51:39.000 Then you have a ton of money flowing into these NGOs, and then they do the No Kings. 0.63

00:51:44.000 Rallies, right?

00:51:45.000 All across the country CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, New York Times, they all cover it wall to wall and they make a huge deal about this.

00:51:54.000 Whether or not there's popular support for it or not, there's enough.

00:51:57.000 And this is why when you hear clips like, and we should actually pull this clip from like Rachel Maddow, where she says, you only need three and a half percent of really dedicated population to get behind these revolutionary tactics to be true believers and you can overthrow the government.

00:52:12.000 Because the belief and the theory is that they can project.

00:52:19.000 A popular support for a movement with three and a half percent, whether that's the No Kings rallies, the media coverage, or whatever.

00:52:25.000 And I can't underscore this point enough. 0.63

00:52:27.000 The same people that orchestrated a lot of this in the Eastern Bloc are now domestic activists. 0.57

00:52:35.000 They are working in the NGO system trying to take down President Trump. 0.59

00:52:38.000 It's a total real thing.

00:52:42.000 Hi, folks.

00:52:42.000 Andrew Colvett here.

00:52:44.000 I'd like to tell you about my friends over at Y Refi.

00:52:46.000 You've probably been hearing me talk about Y Refi for some time now.

00:52:50.000 We are.

00:52:51.000 All in with these guys.

00:53:25.000 Just go to YRefi.com.

00:53:28.000 That's the letter Y, then Refi.com.

00:53:34.000 Just go to YRefi.com and tell them your friend Andrew sent you.

00:53:41.000 We have that clip I was talking about, which I think is so important.

00:53:44.000 We're talking about color revolutions, Blake and Danny. 0.98

00:53:47.000 And I think to assume that people like Rachel Maddow are not in on the shtick, are not in on the game that they're playing, would be naive and foolish. 0.96

00:53:57.000 Go ahead and play this SOT 23. 0.95

00:53:59.000 I know you highlight these peaceful protests on your show regularly.

00:54:04.000 Do you think they do any good?

00:54:06.000 Do you think that anything comes from them?

00:54:08.000 Yes.

00:54:08.000 You do?

00:54:09.000 Yes, I do.

00:54:11.000 I mean, in political science terms, there's what's called the 3.5% rule, which is that if you look at authoritarian regimes of various kinds all over the world over the last, like, century,

00:54:25.000 once you have 3.5% of a population, Protesting nonviolently against a dictator or an authoritarian, that is essentially an unstoppable force that they can't oppose and that precludes them from consolidating dictatorial power.

00:54:42.000 Three and a half percent.

00:54:43.000 Three and a half percent.

00:54:43.000 It's not that much larger a number than what we're already seeing in the streets against Trump.

00:54:50.000 Ah, man.

00:54:50.000 It's a very revealing clip, Blake.

00:54:52.000 They do know.

00:54:53.000 They do know.

00:54:54.000 The left has a tradition of vanguardism, they call it.

00:54:56.000 They believe, you know, they say they believe in the power of the people, but sometimes the people are a little slow and they need to.

00:55:02.000 They need a nudge from a smaller set.

00:55:04.000 Very interesting topic.

00:55:06.000 That was a great question from Don.

00:55:08.000 We have Tom next.

00:55:09.000 Good question so far today.

00:55:11.000 Unmute yourself.

00:55:11.000 What's your question?

00:55:12.000 Yes.

00:55:13.000 Hey guys, good to see you.

00:55:14.000 Thanks for the awesome job that you do.

00:55:16.000 Thank you.

00:55:17.000 Listen, I just want an assessment from your point of view, from the 30,000 foot point of view, on the condition of the MAGA America First movement.

00:55:30.000 I mean, is it growing?

00:55:31.000 Is it stagnant?

00:55:32.000 How are we looking going into the midterms?

00:55:36.000 I'll leave it there.

00:55:37.000 There's more I could ask, but I'll leave it there.

00:55:40.000 All right.

00:55:41.000 Blake, you want to start us off?

00:55:42.000 Sure, I'll go.

00:55:44.000 Yeah, I'll be frank.

00:55:45.000 I'll be frank.

00:55:46.000 I think there's a pretty widespread conception, and I think it's accurate, that MAGA's in some rapids.

00:55:53.000 It's in some turmoil right now.

00:55:55.000 I don't think Andrew and I have discussed a lot on the show.

00:55:57.000 I think the war with Iran made a lot of people angry, made a lot of people frustrated.

00:56:03.000 A lot of people are true believers. 1.00

00:56:04.000 A lot of people say, Trump does it, I support it.

00:56:06.000 A lot of people wanted Trump to do it all along, but it's an issue that has cleaved the movement apart.

00:56:12.000 And that's caused a lot of frustration.

00:56:14.000 I think we've also seen some drama from.

00:56:18.000 We had Scott Greer on the other day. 0.95

00:56:19.000 He called it the insane clown party, insane clown populism. 0.83

00:56:23.000 There's this appeal of very conspiracy driven stuff on the right. 0.87

00:56:27.000 And some of those people were part of MAGA and they've sort of aggressively broken with it.

00:56:32.000 They've said, I am no longer part of it.

00:56:33.000 President Trump has betrayed us.

00:56:35.000 All of this is going on.

00:56:37.000 I think there's still a lot of promising stuff because the administration continues to do good stuff, even if it's not what's in the news.

00:56:44.000 That we're still seeing deportations.

00:56:47.000 They actually keep going up.

00:56:48.000 The numbers keep going up, even though it's not.

00:56:51.000 Front and center.

00:56:52.000 We're still having the war on DEI and a ton of institutions.

00:56:55.000 We're still rooting out a lot of deep state barnacles, a lot of left wing barnacles, and a lot of institutions.

00:57:02.000 We're tearing stuff up.

00:57:03.000 We're causing a lot of good.

00:57:04.000 We're doing, frankly, a lot more good than we did in the first Trump administration.

00:57:08.000 And so I think as long as people like us keep highlighting that, I think, and as long as the left keeps careening into the abyss on democratic socialism, there's going to be continued, going to continue to be reason to support MAGA.

00:57:22.000 And I think a lot of these people will come back and realize that, especially as we get.

00:57:25.000 Closer to 28.

00:57:26.000 But right now, there is turmoil.

00:57:28.000 Yeah.

00:57:28.000 And let's be frank, we missed Charlie.

00:57:29.000 Charlie did a lot of unification.

00:57:32.000 And he's not with us now.

00:57:33.000 Yeah.

00:57:34.000 Go ahead.

00:57:34.000 Danny, talk about the kids, the students.

00:57:37.000 Yeah.

00:57:37.000 There's an unreal expectation that Trump was going to come in and within like the first year or two, suddenly like transform everything, which is just not possible.

00:57:45.000 And I don't think they really understand that like the Senate actually has to pass stuff.

00:57:49.000 Like this is out of Trump's control.

00:57:51.000 So the Senate taking over a month and a half off straight, like, That's not Trump's fault.

00:57:57.000 And stuff's not getting passed.

00:57:58.000 Appointees are not getting passed and confirmed.

00:58:01.000 And Trump's like almost taking the fall for the Senate's failures.

00:58:05.000 And I think the main problem was this unreal expectation that he was going to come in, kind of be this dictator that they wanted, and then suddenly transform and fix all of these problems within the first year or two, which is not realistic.

00:58:19.000 And then you take that and you also add in the Epstein stuff and like bad PR, and it just compiles on each other where they're kind of just like, we don't care anymore.

00:58:29.000 We're not going to vote.

00:58:30.000 And it's kind of just from this misconception that we are going to be able to do more than we actually could.

00:58:35.000 And it's because it's a lot easier to change for the worse than change for the better.

00:58:42.000 I mean, the amount of, yeah, trying to reverse a lot of this stuff takes a while.

00:58:47.000 And I think that they just don't really understand that.

00:58:50.000 And then you take just bad PR moves, bad decisions by the admin, and it just led to all of this.

00:58:56.000 I mean, it's not looking good.

00:58:58.000 And so, how it's looking, but yeah.

00:59:01.000 Yeah, I would say, I would say, I agree with.

00:59:03.000 Blake's assessment that the MAGA coalition has shrunk.

00:59:06.000 The question is, does it, well, I would say MAGA has shrunk.

00:59:11.000 The question is whether or not the coalition, when it comes to picking somebody for an office, if that coalition has shrunk.

00:59:19.000 I think what's more likely to happen with most of these people is they're not going to vote Democrat.

00:59:23.000 They're probably just going to opt out, right?

00:59:25.000 We have this problem with, in the Trump era, low propensity voters.

00:59:29.000 That's the work that we're doing at Turning Point Action getting those low prop voters out.

00:59:32.000 It becomes even harder when Trump's not on the ballot.

00:59:35.000 He remains, I would say, historically popular with conservatives.

00:59:39.000 So there's a lot of good and there's, There's some headwinds.

00:59:42.000 There's no question.

00:59:44.000 I explained this to the team.

00:59:46.000 I call it the taxonomy of the right.

00:59:47.000 And a couple of the team members are like, you got to make an op ed.

00:59:50.000 You got to write an op ed on that.

00:59:51.000 And I probably will do that.

00:59:52.000 I just keep needing to find time for it.

00:59:54.000 But let me just briefly explain it to you.

00:59:57.000 You've got, on the one side, you've got the neocons, right?

01:00:00.000 Because it's always important to remember that foreign policy is going to be the most divisive issue in the right wing coalition, right?

01:00:06.000 So the neocons, they've never liked Trump, but it feels like they've got some things that they wanted, namely in Iran.

01:00:12.000 And so you got them.

01:00:14.000 You've got the plan trusters, the trust the planners.

01:00:16.000 This would be like, if the neocons like a Ted Cruz or a Lindsey Graham, the plan trusters would be like, I don't know, a Michael Knowles or a lot of people put Turning Point in this group.

01:00:27.000 I don't think that's a fair characterization all the time, but that's in people's collective minds, that's what they think.

01:00:32.000 Then you have the dissidents.

01:00:32.000 This would be like a Matt Walsh that really wants to hold the administration's feet to the fire, but he's never going to vote Democrat, right?

01:00:39.000 Then you've got the small L libertarians. 0.99

01:00:41.000 We had the redheaded libertarian Josie on the show, for example.

01:00:45.000 These are people, and she warns about this, that will become disenchanted, right?

01:00:50.000 When we saw Thomas Massey didn't win reelection, they could opt out.

01:00:54.000 The small L libertarians could opt out of running.

01:00:57.000 And then on the far end of the scale, you've got the accelerationists.

01:01:01.000 The accelerationists want to burn it all down.

01:01:05.000 They don't want you to vote for President Trump or anybody he endorses because they want to burn the party down and rebuild it in their image in an ideologically pure manner.

01:01:13.000 We reject that premise.

01:01:14.000 We think that's a terrible idea because what Charlie believed in, what we believe in, is reform.

01:01:18.000 Reforming the coalition from within.

01:01:21.000 That's why we endorse candidates and we work our tails off to get them elected because this is why Brandon Gill exists.

01:01:27.000 Brandon Gill is an all star out of Texas that we would not have gotten elected a generation prior, but he completely gets it.

01:01:34.000 He's completely on script and he's pushing hard and he's very effective.

01:01:37.000 So we want to reform the movement from within.

01:01:41.000 I would say the bad actors want to burn it all down.

01:01:43.000 And guess what happens?

01:01:44.000 The neocons want to pull the plan trusters over to their side and the dissidents, and the accelerationists want to pull the small L libertarians and the dissidents over to their side.

01:01:52.000 And force a wedge in the party.

01:01:54.000 We've got to keep everybody together pushing in the same direction.

01:01:57.000 And again, the question becomes will it matter come election day?

01:02:02.000 Well, I think the question is if you get the right, it will.

01:02:05.000 Because a lot of people.

01:02:06.000 It's already broken.

01:02:07.000 I don't think you're really going to keep it together because what was kept together is already completely broken.

01:02:13.000 So it's more so going to be about getting them back.

01:02:15.000 It's going to be a real challenge.

01:02:17.000 And especially because you call them accelerationists, but I really like Scott Greer's insane clown party formulation for some of them.

01:02:25.000 It can be very tough to appeal to those people.

01:02:27.000 But let's get into our next question here.

01:02:31.000 Is it Mark?

01:02:33.000 Mark, unmute yourself and what's your question?

01:02:35.000 Hey guys, can you hear me?

01:02:36.000 Yep.

01:02:37.000 Okay, so my question is actually similar to what you guys are talking about right now. 0.69

01:02:42.000 Every time I see Foon on TV or the internet, I just want to punch the guy, right? 0.93

01:02:48.000 So I'm sick of the Senate and I'm sick of the rhinos.

01:02:55.000 I love turning point action. 1.00

01:02:57.000 Every time you have Tyler on, I'm like, I love listening to this guy, right?

01:03:01.000 Because he's actually kind of what got me into Turning Point to begin with.

01:03:04.000 Charlie's great, but Turning Point action is action oriented, which is what I love. 0.97

01:03:11.000 So, number one, do we have a plan to get rid of these scumbag rhinos? 0.51

01:03:19.000 And you don't have to give it to me over the air, but I'm just curious if when you guys do your meetings, is there a plan and do you have it mapped out to get rid of these guys? 0.96

01:03:31.000 Number one.

01:03:32.000 And number two, Is there some way we can defund the rhinos?

01:03:39.000 I love that.

01:03:39.000 That'd be a great website.

01:03:40.000 Defund the rhinos, right?

01:03:42.000 Because just what I think you guys literally were just talking about this, or Danny was talking about this.

01:03:48.000 It's like Trump is, I feel like he's kind of trapped.

01:03:52.000 And with this war going on, this is going to be a problem in the midterms.

01:03:59.000 And we just simply can't afford to lose.

01:04:01.000 And I'm so, and matter of fact, can we get these guys to work?

01:04:04.000 Five days a week.

01:04:05.000 I mean, come on.

01:04:07.000 Instead of one day a week or.

01:04:12.000 I had the honor of a lifetime to call Charlie a friend.

01:04:16.000 And what I remember most wasn't just what people saw on stage, it was what was behind the scenes.

01:04:23.000 That was an unwavering commitment to his faith, his love for his family, and his genuine desire to encourage others to live with courage and conviction.

01:04:32.000 Charlie believed that following Christ wasn't something you compartmentalize, he didn't put it in a box.

01:04:37.000 He lived it out loud.

01:04:38.000 It shaped how he lived, how he served, how he treated people every single day.

01:04:43.000 Charlie Kirk, American Martyr, captures that heart.

01:04:46.000 This documentary isn't just simply about remembering Charlie.

01:04:49.000 It's an invitation for each of us to ask what kind of legacy we're building and whether we're willing to stand firm in our own faith when it's tested.

01:04:58.000 I hope that you'll watch it with your family and have those conversations together.

01:05:02.000 Go to angel.comslash Kirk.

01:05:04.000 That's angel.comslash Kirk.

01:05:06.000 Become an Angel Guild member.

01:05:08.000 Watch Charlie Kirk, American Martyr.

01:05:10.000 And help bring more stories of faith, courage, and conviction to audiences around the world. 0.94

01:05:18.000 Can we get rid of the rhinos? 0.54

01:05:20.000 And the short answer to that, and I know Blake's got a lot of thoughts here, is we are doing it, and it's happening more slowly than anybody would like, of course, but it's happening through retirements.

01:05:31.000 It's happening through, in the case of Lindsey Graham, I hate to say it, through his death.

01:05:36.000 And then it's happening through primaries, the way it's supposed to happen, more than it's happened in a long time, as a matter of fact.

01:05:42.000 The party is substantially more conservative.

01:05:45.000 Than it was just five years ago, than it was 10 years ago.

01:05:48.000 And that's a lot thanks to the work that we're doing at Turning Point Action.

01:05:51.000 But, Blake, why don't you expound on that?

01:05:53.000 Because it's an important point.

01:05:55.000 It gives hope.

01:05:56.000 Well, so 100%.

01:05:57.000 And he mentioned, what can we do to get rid of them?

01:05:59.000 And the struggle with the Senate always is they have six year terms, and incumbents are powerful, and they can just stick around a very long time.

01:06:05.000 And we say the House has improved one election at a time, and the Senate improves one election at a time, but it takes a while.

01:06:13.000 We just had Watley on, who's running in North Carolina.

01:06:16.000 He's going to be, if he wins, he'll replace.

01:06:18.000 Tom Tillis, who's been a very frustrating Republican on issue after issue and on a bunch of key nominations and votes and issues, he just hasn't been there.

01:06:27.000 And Watley will be way better if we're able to get him over the finish line.

01:06:31.000 And if we're able to get Paxton over the finish line, he'll be better on the issues than John Cornyn.

01:06:36.000 Repeat over and over.

01:06:37.000 We've got Lindsey Graham.

01:06:40.000 He's died.

01:06:41.000 There's going to be a primary there.

01:06:42.000 He's in Louisiana.

01:06:43.000 They're running.

01:06:44.000 His sister is running.

01:06:46.000 I believe.

01:06:47.000 Have we endorsed.

01:06:49.000 Anyone in that race?

01:06:50.000 Ralph.

01:06:50.000 Yeah, Ralph Northam.

01:06:51.000 So we'll see who's able to pull ahead.

01:06:53.000 But if he's able to win, we think he'll be better than Lindsey Graham was.

01:06:56.000 Maybe, probably even Lindsey Graham's sister will be better than he was.

01:06:59.000 And so we get progress that way.

01:07:01.000 I don't think anybody will love war as much as Lindsey Green.

01:07:04.000 I don't think it's possible.

01:07:05.000 I don't think it's possible.

01:07:06.000 That man loved a conflict.

01:07:07.000 And so we are going to make progress in that way.

01:07:09.000 Making them work more.

01:07:12.000 Oh, man.

01:07:12.000 If we could figure out that one.

01:07:14.000 I know Charlie was always calling for them to do it.

01:07:16.000 He once got fired up for the idea.

01:07:18.000 What if they worked over it?

01:07:19.000 We have their Senate schedule. 0.89

01:07:21.000 We could throw up their schedule.

01:07:22.000 If you're able to see it, any date in red.

01:07:25.000 Oh, man.

01:07:26.000 You'll have to zoom into that one a little bit, guys.

01:07:28.000 But if you look at it, like the entire month of August is red.

01:07:32.000 They take off from August 8th until September 14th.

01:07:37.000 They are off for one month and one week straight.

01:07:40.000 Now, obviously, a lot of this is they're all off fundraising.

01:07:42.000 They're endlessly fundraising.

01:07:44.000 But the message we try to get through to them, which is very difficult, is to point out that nothing would win them votes faster than to just have the perception that they're actually working and achieving and doing things.

01:07:56.000 We've had a 10% approval rating of Congress for the last 20 years, basically.

01:08:01.000 They've never recovered.

01:08:02.000 But in the 50s and 60s, Congress had a pretty high approval rating.

01:08:05.000 Like, as an institution, people thought Congress was great and they were doing things.

01:08:09.000 And I think the way you can do that is to actually do things.

01:08:12.000 I love the idea.

01:08:13.000 What if, instead of this long August recess, Senator Thune announced, We're buckling down and we're making sure there's no vacant judicial offices, no vacant ambassadors, no vacant lower things.

01:08:24.000 We're confirming everyone President Trump has sent to us.

01:08:28.000 If they were doing that, MAGA would be fired up.

01:08:31.000 It's completely unacceptable that Thune is allowing the August recess to happen.

01:08:36.000 And I'll explain why.

01:08:37.000 Because midterms, we are looking at a very real possibility where Thune is no longer leader of the Senate.

01:08:44.000 Time is short.

01:08:45.000 We are in a race against the clock.

01:08:48.000 And he's going to take a whole month off?

01:08:50.000 Completely unacceptable.

01:08:51.000 He should have everybody in there to Blake's point and get all of Trump's confirmations over the finish line.

01:08:57.000 And then, secondly, he should be doing the talking filibuster.

01:09:00.000 And I don't care if we don't have the votes for Save America Act.

01:09:02.000 He should just make everybody put their name down, yay or nay.

01:09:07.000 We want to know.

01:09:08.000 And then you ask if we have a map of this.

01:09:10.000 We absolutely have a map and we absolutely have a plan.

01:09:13.000 And most of these guys you can work with, right?

01:09:15.000 We're probably like three, four, five, maybe six votes shy on the Save America Act.

01:09:20.000 Those are going to be first up.

01:09:21.000 So put your name down on the list.

01:09:23.000 Be known.

01:09:23.000 Have some courage if you're going to block something as popular as the Save America Act.

01:09:28.000 More votes is good.

01:09:29.000 Make everyone go on the record about specific things because they love the fog of working on these omnibus bills that are hard to get.

01:09:36.000 We have one more question we want to hit.

01:09:38.000 We have three minutes here.

01:09:39.000 Rain, unmute yourself and what's your question?

01:09:42.000 Hello?

01:09:43.000 Yeah.

01:09:43.000 Oh, Rain, can you hear it?

01:09:44.000 Yep, we can hear you.

01:09:45.000 What's your question?

01:09:46.000 Okay.

01:09:47.000 So, oh, wow.

01:09:49.000 I've been listening to the show and it's, God, I got so much to comment on, but I'm going to stick with my question.

01:09:55.000 So, although I did not grow up in New Orleans, I spent most of my adult life there.

01:10:03.000 And the general consensus from people that I personally know and trust who went to grade school and high school and college.

01:10:15.000 And have known Amy Comey Barrett through her professional life up until when she has ended up in the Supreme Court.

01:10:25.000 The personal general consensus is that she didn't about face because of the threats made against her adopted children's lives.

01:10:39.000 And I trust these people that know her.

01:10:43.000 And I wonder what is there, if anything, can anything be done to remove?

01:10:49.000 A Supreme Court justice.

01:10:50.000 I mean, and based on all the testimony that I know we all saw from last week when she was asking for extra protection, what can be done to remove somebody from the Supreme Court if they don't feel confident enough to do their job and they're openly professing it?

01:11:08.000 Very briefly, are you saying that they knew her in high school and college and that she was more conservative then?

01:11:15.000 So she's taken different views now?

01:11:17.000 Yes, absolutely.

01:11:19.000 That's very interesting.

01:11:20.000 I mean, it's on par with her voting.

01:11:21.000 Wait, wait.

01:11:22.000 And people, look.

01:11:23.000 And on the record, people that know her now have told me that this, her about face, is 100% about the threats that have been made against her Haitian children.

01:11:37.000 And so I'm wondering why she is able to continue on the highest court in the land if she has an inability to go through with her job. 0.81

01:11:50.000 Well, she doesn't deserve the spot there any longer.

01:11:53.000 Thank you so much.

01:11:54.000 And look, I'm not invalidating.

01:11:58.000 The threats made against her.

01:11:59.000 But what I'm saying is, if you feel that much of a threat against your life and it is compromising your decisions, you should step down.

01:12:11.000 100%.

01:12:13.000 So, first of all, the only way you can remove a Supreme Court justice is you need a two thirds.

01:12:18.000 You need to impeach and remove the same way you would a president.

01:12:22.000 You need two thirds. 0.99

01:12:23.000 I don't think that's ever going to happen.

01:12:25.000 And I don't know if it's supposed to be for misconduct.

01:12:27.000 And if she's just afraid, that's not.

01:12:30.000 Probably going to muster that many votes, even if we're very disappointed.

01:12:33.000 I think we could maybe, frankly, pass more security for Supreme Court justices.

01:12:38.000 We should do that anyway, because it's just too obvious. 0.74

01:12:41.000 If you're a left wing lunatic, by far, the biggest way you can try to change the country is just take out one of these Supreme Court justices. 0.94
