00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody.
00:00:00.000 What happened to Chicago?
00:00:02.000 Kind of an impromptu conversation with Steve Moore.
00:00:04.000 Then we talk about the Biden administration's lack of business expertise and inflation.
00:00:09.000 We also talked to Jason Miller from Getter about what's going on online and how TikTok is like giving your child heroin.
00:00:15.000 So if you don't want your child to be on heroin, then don't have them have TikTok.
00:00:20.000 I talk about it a little bit on this program, but I have done a deep amount of study and research, and there's a growing body of literature that shows the main reason why your kid or grandkid is anxious, depressed, doing marijuana, might not be feeling the way that they should.
00:00:20.000 That's right.
00:00:35.000 It's because they're screen time, largely driven by these apps by foreign oligarchs.
00:00:40.000 Provocative?
00:00:41.000 Yes.

00:01:50.000 With us right now is a great American.
00:01:52.000 I've known him for quite some time, Steve Moore.
00:01:55.000 Steve, welcome to the program.
00:01:57.000 Hey, Charlie, thanks so much for having me.
00:01:58.000 Great to be with you.
00:01:59.000 And you are a great American.
00:02:01.000 So it's a pleasure to be on your show.
00:02:02.000 Thank you.
00:02:03.000 We've known each other for a while and both from Chicago.
00:02:05.000 And unfortunately, that whole state has been largely destroyed.
00:02:09.000 So you have this great...
00:02:10.000 Did you see that Ken Griffin moved out of Chicago?
00:02:13.000 There's a great article about him.
00:02:15.000 I know this isn't the subject of our conversation, but it's really important.
00:02:18.000 It showed that he has given hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars to the museums, the orchestra, to food banks.
00:02:26.000 He's one of the most philanthropic guys.
00:02:29.000 And he's, I don't think anybody in the history of Illinois has given more to the civic institutions of Chicago.
00:02:35.000 And he finally had to leave because of the high taxes and the high crime rate in the city of Chicago.
00:02:41.000 And it just shows what happens when liberals ruin a place because all these institutions are like, how are we going to replace Ken Griffin's money?
00:02:48.000 That's a good question.
00:02:49.000 Maybe you shouldn't have chased him out of the state.
00:02:52.000 And it was, you're exactly right.
00:02:54.000 So ran a company called Citadel and started it right there in downtown Chicago, enormously successful.
00:03:01.000 You could point to so many of the beauty of Chicago because of his generosity and philanthropy.
00:03:07.000 And you actually look at why he left in the report.
00:03:11.000 There were three Citadel employees that were mugged on the way to work, Steve.
00:03:17.000 I mean, you and I grew up in Chicago.
00:03:19.000 I mean, this is River North.
00:03:21.000 This is not, you know, near Camiske or U.S. Cellular, right?
00:03:25.000 This is the heart of Chicago where people are being mugged at eight or nine in the morning or at five or six at night.
00:03:31.000 Actually, I know you're not here to talk about it, but Steve, just really quick on the Chicago thing.
00:03:34.000 I mean, it's just tragic.
00:03:35.000 Boeing has now left.
00:03:36.000 Caterpillars are gone.
00:03:38.000 Caterpillar's gone.
00:03:39.000 Citadel's gone.
00:03:41.000 And you're right.
00:03:42.000 And they actually had to shut down for several weeks the theater district in Chicago because it wasn't safe for people to go to theater.
00:03:48.000 My point is that, you know, and this is happening now in New York City.
00:03:52.000 It's happening in San Francisco.
00:03:53.000 It's happening in Los Angeles, or Los Angeles.
00:03:55.000 Our great cities are being destroyed by wokeism and this big government socialism.
00:04:01.000 So it's a warning, America.
00:04:02.000 It is.
00:04:03.000 And the violent crime thing is just totally out of control.
00:04:05.000 And a question people have, and Steve, maybe you could add some context to this is why don't they course correct?
00:04:11.000 I mean, it's so obvious Chicago's become a wasteland.
00:04:14.000 I saw, I mean, I was just in Chicago yesterday, and I just picked up a mailer at somebody's house I was at of just all the real estate listings.
00:04:21.000 And I was shocked at how cheap real estate is in some of these communities versus what I'm used to kind of seeing here in Phoenix or in Florida.
00:04:31.000 It's obvious property values are down, violent crime is up, the population is decreasing.
00:04:36.000 Is it just kind of one of the things Lori Lightfoot and J.B. Pritzker want to rule over the ashes?
00:04:40.000 What's your interpretation of someone who loves the state of Illinois like I do?
00:04:43.000 First of all, Charlie, I mean, it breaks my heart because I think of Chicago as one of the 10 greatest cities in the world.
00:04:49.000 I totally agree with you.
00:04:50.000 So, I mean, to see what's happened is heartbreaking.
00:04:50.000 Yeah.
00:04:53.000 You know, we'll come back, but there'll be, and you mentioned Lightfoot and Pritzker.
00:04:58.000 I mean, two of the worst, maybe the worst mayor in America and maybe the worst governor in America.
00:05:03.000 And the joke is, I'm not, Charlie, the Democrats are talking about running Pritzker for president.
00:05:10.000 I mean, this is going to sound crude.
00:05:12.000 He's never run for anything in his life, but continue.
00:05:15.000 Yes.
00:05:16.000 Yeah.
00:05:16.000 I mean, so it's just, it's almost comical that the two leading Democrats for the presidency in 2024 right now are Gavin Newsom, who's destroying California and J.B. Pritzker, who's destroyed Illinois.
00:05:30.000 And that shows you how short their bench is.
00:05:32.000 And I'll just end this little conversation about this by saying, folks, guess what state that Ken Griffin moved to?
00:05:41.000 Florida.
00:05:42.000 Florida.
00:05:43.000 The free and open state of Florida.
00:05:43.000 That's right.
00:05:46.000 And that is the question.
00:05:48.000 So just one other thought on this, Steve, before we get to your wonderful report here, is that there is a conventional wisdom.
00:05:53.000 There's like not conventional, there is a talking point that once Illinois hits rock bottom, it will reverse course.
00:05:58.000 I don't think that's the case anymore.
00:06:00.000 It just seems as if there is just kind of an enjoyment of misery between the Democrats there.
00:06:06.000 As long as they're in charge, they don't care.
00:06:08.000 You know, I'm kind of glad we're having this conversation because I've lived, you know, lived in Chicago during the 60s and 70s.
00:06:15.000 I went to the University of Illinois.
00:06:16.000 Since then, I've lived in the swamp and watched, but I still have all my family in Chicago.
00:06:20.000 And the whole, one of the big parts of the history of Chicago was Richard Daly.
00:06:26.000 He was a Democrat.
00:06:28.000 He was, you know, there was a lot of, you know, hanky-panky going in Chicago, but they called Chicago the city that works.
00:06:35.000 That's a nice way to put it.
00:06:36.000 At least you knew who you had to pay off to get stuff done.
00:06:38.000 And Chicago worked.
00:06:40.000 And that's the old-fashioned Democrat, right?
00:06:43.000 Now the new Democrats, nothing works.
00:06:45.000 That's right.
00:06:46.000 Nothing works.
00:06:47.000 And the whole thing just, you know, I think that's so insightful.
00:06:50.000 I've said for the longest time, I will take the most corrupt, back-dealing Democrat in a second over an ideologue.
00:06:57.000 I mean, okay, fine.
00:06:58.000 You're paying off some developer, some contractor.
00:07:01.000 You know, you have some, I guess, some.
00:07:03.000 It's just a cost of doing business.
00:07:05.000 Yeah, it's built into it.
00:07:06.000 But, you know, it's kind of this old thing back in the, there's a true story.
00:07:09.000 I mean, Mayor Daly got John F. Kennedy elected through widespread voter fraud.
00:07:12.000 That's proven.
00:07:14.000 And so Mayor Daly Sr., not Jr.
00:07:17.000 And there's kind of this story where he asked all this money from for Jack Kennedy for federal aid to rebuild Chicago.
00:07:24.000 And he asked for something like $25 million to put in a transit system and all this.
00:07:28.000 And he's like, hey, this project's only going to cost us $10 million.
00:07:30.000 We'll be able to divide the 15 amongst all of us.
00:07:32.000 And he said, we can get it done quickly.
00:07:34.000 And actually, you look at today, it would cost, you know, even adjusted for inflation 10 times that.
00:07:40.000 And so the new saying is that the new Democrats are just too incompetent to even bribe.
00:07:47.000 Exactly.
00:07:48.000 No, I just, I've always said ideological, A misguided ideology is far more dangerous than grafting corruption.
00:07:56.000 Okay, so now speaking of incompetency, you have this wonderful story out.
00:08:00.000 Exclusive, ship a fool.
00:08:02.000 62% of Biden officials who handle economic policy have zero years of business experience.
00:08:07.000 What exactly do they have experience in then?
00:08:10.000 Yeah.
00:08:11.000 So this explains everything, doesn't it?
00:08:13.000 You know, about why it is that the wheels have come off the economy, why we're facing potentially very, very deep and painful recession.
00:08:21.000 Because these people are not just ideologues, it gets to our discussion.
00:08:24.000 They are, they're definitely ideologues, but they're also incompetent.
00:08:27.000 And that's a bad combination.
00:08:29.000 And so you have people with no idea what they're doing.
00:08:32.000 The majority of the people that Biden has appointed to positions of power that have authority over our economy, finance, commerce, transportation, those kinds of things that have to work, the majority of them, Charlie, have zero business experience.
00:08:49.000 And I'm not saying that they have zero experience running a business.
00:08:53.000 I'm saying they haven't even worked for a business.
00:08:56.000 I mean, these people can't run a lemonade stand because they've never even worked for a lemonade stand.
00:09:01.000 And that tells you a lot.
00:09:02.000 And it's not an accident, Charlie.
00:09:04.000 It's not like, oh, gosh, we forgot to hire some business people.
00:09:07.000 They hate business.
00:09:08.000 This was intentional.
00:09:10.000 And they're probably almost all academics, I would imagine.
00:09:15.000 They're academics.
00:09:16.000 They're what did Biden call himself?
00:09:19.000 What did Obama call himself?
00:09:21.000 Community organizer.
00:09:22.000 Yeah, or a Cass Sunstein type, right?
00:09:25.000 Which is the managerial class, right?
00:09:28.000 So they're big on administrative state and managerialism.
00:09:32.000 It is this emphasis on the managerial and unelected bureaucratic elite.
00:09:38.000 So a lot of academics, a lot of people that have just kind of been lifelong bureaucrats, and 62% that have never even been in a business setting, let alone run a business.
00:09:47.000 But let me give you a good example of what I'm talking about.
00:09:49.000 So you may know, I've heard of this woman, Lena Khan.
00:09:53.000 She's 31 years old.
00:09:54.000 So she's, you know, pretty wet behind the years.
00:09:58.000 She has just been a university professor with all these kind of lunatic ideas of business.
00:10:03.000 Of course, she's never worked for a business, let alone started one.
00:10:06.000 And now she's running the Federal Trade Commission, which gives her oversight.
00:10:10.000 This woman who knows nothing about business is now telling businesses how to operate their businesses, what they can and can't do.
00:10:17.000 I mean, that's insanity.
00:10:20.000 I mean, why would you put someone like that in that kind of a position?
00:10:23.000 And so that's just one little example.
00:10:26.000 Let's take another one.
00:10:27.000 Pete Budijek.
00:10:28.000 I mean, Peter Butijek seems like a nice guy.
00:10:30.000 I don't have anything against Pete, you know, but he's in charge of the supply chain problem.
00:10:35.000 He's in charge of transportation.
00:10:37.000 He knows nothing about transportation.
00:10:38.000 He couldn't even fill the potholes in South Bend.
00:10:41.000 And they're legitimately terrible in South Bend.
00:10:44.000 Or, you know, I'll just give you one other example.
00:10:46.000 I mean, Jennifer Branholm.
00:10:49.000 She's in charge of the energy program.
00:10:52.000 I mean, she hates energy.
00:10:54.000 She hates American energy.
00:10:56.000 She hates the fossil fuel industry.
00:10:58.000 And she's done a, if her job is to shut down American energy, then I guess she gets pretty high grades.
00:11:03.000 It's incredible.
00:11:04.000 So just this morning, we received information that the Euro has fallen below dollar parity.
00:11:10.000 What does that mean?
00:11:12.000 It means the Europe is a mess.
00:11:14.000 It's a catastrophe.
00:11:15.000 Look, I'm really worried, Charlie, about the world economy right now.
00:11:19.000 We are the hub of the world economy and every other country is a spoke.
00:11:24.000 And when America gets it wrong, as we did in the 70s under Nixon, Ford, and Carter, and as we're getting it wrong now, unfortunately, we spread these bad policies throughout the world.
00:11:34.000 When Reagan was president, guess what?
00:11:36.000 The whole world moved towards freedom.
00:11:38.000 And that's what's so frightening to me is that we have big government socialism spreading all over the world right now.
00:11:44.000 And Charlie, where are the Margaret Thatchers?
00:11:46.000 Where are the Reagan?
00:11:47.000 Where are the Trumps?
00:11:48.000 Where are the Winston Churchills?
00:11:50.000 I can't find one on the world stage right now.
00:11:53.000 It's just remarkable.
00:11:55.000 Inflation news was pretty awful yesterday.
00:11:57.000 What does that mean?
00:11:58.000 And I think inflation number is even higher than that.
00:12:00.000 I think the way they calculate inflation is very misleading.
00:12:03.000 What is your take?
00:12:04.000 Yeah, I know who also agrees with us about 75% of Americans.
00:12:08.000 When I go on Box or some of these other shows, you know, and I say we've got, you know, 9% inflation, people get angry at me.
00:12:14.000 They email me or they text me and they say, what are you talking about?
00:12:17.000 Moore?
00:12:18.000 It's not 9%, it's 15%, or I'm finishing 20% inflation with my groceries and my gas and my rent.
00:12:24.000 And so you're right about that.
00:12:25.000 We have runaway prices and it was so obvious.
00:12:28.000 You'll love this story, Charlie.
00:12:30.000 Last year, about this time, there were 20 Nobel Prize economists and about 30 other leading economists at American universities who said in a big piece in the New York Times, don't worry, Biden's policies will not cause inflation.
00:12:46.000 Don't you think maybe they should just retire or give up their PhDs?
00:12:50.000 Yeah, seriously.
00:12:51.000 I mean, it's just there's been no, and what's been amazing, though, Steve, and it's just more temperamental kind of more observational about their temperament is that we've never received an apology on any of this.
00:13:01.000 Exactly.
00:13:02.000 None of them apologized.
00:13:04.000 None of them.
00:13:04.000 Or no correction.
00:13:05.000 They're like, oh, yeah, we got a problem.
00:13:06.000 I was wrong.
00:13:07.000 I gave the Americans such bad advice.
00:13:10.000 I hate to tell you this, but we got a new statistic that came out just this morning a few hours ago.
00:13:14.000 Now producer prices are up 11.3%.
00:13:17.000 And when producer prices go up, Charlie, guess what?
00:13:21.000 That means that consumer prices have to go up.
00:13:24.000 So this idea that we've hit peak inflation, by the way, they've been saying that for nine months, right?
00:13:28.000 Oh, we were at peak inflation.
00:13:30.000 It keeps getting worse and worse.
00:13:32.000 You know, I shouldn't be laughing about this because this is, and it's hurting the poor and the middle class the most.
00:13:37.000 Gee, I thought this was an administration that was going to do something about reducing income inequality.
00:13:42.000 We've seen a massive increase in income inequality under Biden's policy.
00:13:46.000 It's the best time ever to be a billionaire.
00:13:48.000 And they're doing better than ever.
00:13:51.000 And regular, normal, everyday people are getting crushed.
00:13:53.000 And you're exactly right.
00:13:54.000 I mean, this idea that on the supply side, we should do nothing and just completely artificially create monetary stimulus on the demand side.
00:14:03.000 Well, look what happens.
00:14:04.000 I'm afraid.
00:14:05.000 I guarantee you, Charlie, that if Donald Trump were still president, and I'm unbiased, I worked for Trump and helped him on the economy.
00:14:12.000 This economy would be booming.
00:14:14.000 American people made it.
00:14:15.000 And what's so tragic, Steve, is that we would be the envy of the world because not only would it be amazing, all these other countries would be a mess, and now we're a mess with these other countries.
00:14:25.000 It's just such a disappointment.
00:14:27.000 Steve Moore, thank you so much.
00:14:28.000 That was wonderful.
00:14:29.000 Thanks, Charlie.
00:14:29.000 Thank you.
00:14:30.000 Good to be with you.
00:14:31.000 You too.
00:14:31.000 See you soon.
00:14:34.000 Look, there's a must-see movie you got to check out at SalemNow.com called Michelle Obama 2024: Her Real Life Story and Her Plans for Power.
00:14:44.000 Film director Joel Gilbert, I know Joel, great American, takes a deep dive into the life of Michelle Obama from Chicago to Princeton to Martha's Vineyard.
00:14:52.000 He says Michelle Obama will run for president in 2024 and base her candidacy on a life story that is more racially divisive and nearly as fictitious as that of her husband, Barack Hussein.
00:15:03.000 Check out the stunning new movie on Salem Now, Michelle Obama 2024.
00:15:07.000 Michelle is following the same formula as Barack to become president, a best-selling autobiography, the keynote convention speaker, and a voter registration organization.

00:15:40.000 With us right now is the man behind Getter, Jason Miller.
00:15:43.000 Jason, welcome to the program.
00:15:46.000 I'm doing great.
00:15:47.000 Elon Musk pulls out of the Twitter deal.
00:15:50.000 It's a little unclear what's happening with all of that.
00:15:53.000 Can you game us out, kind of game this out for us?
00:15:55.000 How do you see this ending?
00:15:57.000 Twitter is suing Elon.
00:15:59.000 You know, some people thought the deal would never go through altogether.
00:16:02.000 Thankfully, we have Getter as this amazing, you know, robust free speech platform.
00:16:07.000 What are your thoughts?
00:16:09.000 Yeah, so even though Twitter obviously is a competitor and it would hurt if Elon Musk took over, what Elon Musk was trying to do with Twitter was the right move for free speech.
00:16:18.000 He was trying to get some sense of normalcy back to the blue bird, try to get some kind of control back for our voices.
00:16:24.000 But what he found, what he ran into, was this brick wall of liberal ideology where he realized the culture of that company was not going to change, even if he was in charge.
00:16:34.000 So now this thing looks like it's going to explode.
00:16:36.000 You have Musk, you have Twitter, they're fighting each other.
00:16:39.000 I don't know who's going to win on the legal side, but there is the big question of what's actually going to be left.
00:16:44.000 I mean, it's essentially a pile of rubble at this point.
00:16:47.000 Yeah.
00:16:48.000 And just how many bots and trolls they have at Twitter, it's just, it's just extraordinary.
00:16:53.000 So, Jason, I want to ask you, you know, there's some questions that a lot of our audience has about kind of the state of social media online and kind of conversation online and social media in general.
00:17:07.000 A question that I have for you is: how is Getter navigating this from your perspective?
00:17:12.000 You guys have been up and running for quite a while, you know, very well respected, lots of users.
00:17:18.000 How are you navigating this discourse going into the midterms and especially with kind of the regime of social media starting to fall apart?
00:17:27.000 Yeah, great question because what we're seeing are really two separate conversations that are happening on social media.
00:17:33.000 You have the traditional, the timelines, the scrolls.
00:17:37.000 You obviously have that with Getter.
00:17:38.000 You have that, say, on the Twitters, the Facebooks.
00:17:40.000 Obviously, the more you go into Twitter and Facebook, the more heavily politically discriminatory they are and certain viewpoints aren't being shared.
00:17:47.000 But you also have with a lot of the younger folks, people you're working with at Turning Point USA and the other efforts that you do that are much more into the TikToks, the Instagram reels, the short video format.
00:17:57.000 That's why we launched Vision, which is now our competitor to TikTok and Instagram Reels.
00:18:02.000 It's a part of Getter.
00:18:04.000 And you've been great posting on there as well.
00:18:06.000 So we've brought those conversations together.
00:18:08.000 This is the key because you look to the younger generation, they're moving much more to this format.
00:18:13.000 And so if we want to be able to connect with them as people putting on my political hat for a moment, we're going to have to talk to them in that manner and not just on the timelines.
00:18:22.000 So you did a segment recently about TikTok, and I'm very blunt about TikTok.
00:18:26.000 I tell young people all the time, if you want to be depressed and hate yourself, be super anxious and get on psychiatric drugs, then use TikTok.
00:18:34.000 The only thing that you'll get out of TikTok is depression, is dopamine overdose, dopamine deficiency, neurological disorders, literally.
00:18:42.000 TikTok is one of the most dangerous applications, I think, for a young mind that I could possibly think of.
00:18:49.000 For parents out there, if your child is using TikTok, if you want your child to be depressed, then have them use it.
00:18:55.000 Let me tell you really quick before Jason, I have you chime in on this.
00:18:58.000 The reason is that we have 5,000 year old circuitry that was meant to be in the wild, that was meant to go hunt and gather and literally chase our prey to the point of exhaustion.
00:19:11.000 And what do we do?
00:19:12.000 There is more pleasure released in a five to 10 minute spurt when a child is going through TikTok than our ancestors would have got in 20 years.
00:19:24.000 And we put that, it is the largest open-air drug experiment in the history of humanity.
00:19:30.000 And we just give these kids these phones and we hope it works out.
00:19:33.000 You say that TikTok wants a psychographic analysis of our kids.
00:19:38.000 What do you mean by that?
00:19:40.000 Well, it's not that they want to.
00:19:42.000 They already have it because think about the algorithm that TikTok has.
00:19:46.000 They literally, they know what you're going to like.
00:19:48.000 They know what you're going to repost or share with your friends before you even do it.
00:19:53.000 That's why they're feeding it to you.
00:19:54.000 Now, you have TikTok, you have their parent company, ByteDance, which is effectively run by the CCP.
00:20:00.000 Anyone who's doing business, any Chinese company that's in operations, the way that they've put in their surveillance requirements, the CCP has access to everything.
00:20:10.000 We know from BuzzFeed that TikTok people, the moderators, the executives in China can access Americans' data.
00:20:18.000 So now you have the CCP, you have the Chinese Communist Party that's actually the ones who have access to the data.
00:20:25.000 They're going to know with this next generation, the TikTok generation in America, what our people are going to like before they even go and like it.
00:20:32.000 That's scary when you think about the way it can be manipulated.
00:20:35.000 Yeah, totally.
00:20:36.000 And I just, I really want to reiterate this for parents and grandparents.
00:20:40.000 You have to intervene yourself to this.
00:20:42.000 TikTok is destroying kids.
00:20:44.000 So it's no correlation, by the way, that we have the most depressed, suicidal generation because the circuitry, I believe, designed by God was not meant to stare at a screen all day long.
00:20:56.000 It's not meant to flip through and have instant pain and pleasure reactions.
00:21:01.000 And I say this, you know, it kind of gets kids' eyes wide open.
00:21:05.000 I say, here's how you can know you're a lab rat.
00:21:08.000 For example, if you open up Twitter or if you open up Instagram or if you open up TikTok, for example, there's a short pause before you've probably seen this, right, Jason, when you go on some of these apps.
00:21:18.000 So it's like a two and a half second pause.
00:21:20.000 For example, you open up Instagram and it just says the logo and then you go in.
00:21:24.000 Why is that?
00:21:25.000 Well, it's neurologically proven through the testing of your seven, eight, and nine-year-olds that two and a half delay spikes up your dopamine.
00:21:33.000 Ooh, what's coming for me?
00:21:34.000 What reward might be waiting for me?
00:21:36.000 This is treating our children as if they are products.
00:21:42.000 And most parents have no idea what's happening.
00:21:44.000 Let's talk about the CCP angle, though, that you mentioned, which is Donald Trump tried to ban TikTok.
00:21:50.000 Why is this even allowed in our country?
00:21:51.000 Why have we not totally shut this down?
00:21:53.000 Why are lawmakers more worried about sending money to Ukraine?
00:21:57.000 Because too many lawmakers are scared about upsetting what they believe parents want, which is to essentially stick devices in front of their kids and say veg out for hours at a time.
00:22:07.000 And they don't want to upset who they view or the soccer moms or the swing voters in many of these districts.
00:22:13.000 Fortunately, we do have some strong leadership that's out there, whether it be FCC, Commissioner Brendan Carr, even Mark Warner, the Democrat from Virginia, Marco Rubio, of course, the senator from Florida.
00:22:24.000 They've taken action and saying, wait a minute, guys, we're concerned about what's happening with the data here and the fact that a foreign entity is now going to be accessing all the essentially the psychographic analyses of millions and millions of Americans, but everyone's turning a blind eye.
00:22:39.000 It's really scary.
00:22:41.000 Yeah, it is.
00:22:42.000 I mean, afraid to offend soccer moms.
00:22:44.000 Okay, let me just be very blunt.
00:22:46.000 TikTok is the equivalent.
00:22:47.000 It's digital heroin.
00:22:49.000 So if your child is doing heroin, do we say, oh, yeah, you know, I'm really worried that we're going to offend meth addicts because we're going to run against fentanyl and methamphetamines.
00:22:59.000 No, we have no idea what we're dealing with on a fundamental and neurological level.
00:23:04.000 So, Jason, in closing here, tell us just some plans that you have for Getter.
00:23:07.000 We're using Getter a lot.
00:23:08.000 We're partnering a lot of things.
00:23:09.000 You're sponsoring Student Action Summit.
00:23:10.000 What are the plans in this highly competitive landscape?
00:23:14.000 Very competitive.
00:23:15.000 We think that we're rising above the path with the way that we've combined Getter to make it essentially the all-in-one free speech platform with the timeline, with the short video format, with live streaming, which you live stream your show, as does Real America's Voice, which we're very glad to be partners with.
00:23:30.000 And we're putting this together, but as we start building out, we're really focusing on how we build the community.
00:23:36.000 Different things, whether it's having a polling feature, whether it's having a meetup feature, different groups in communities, really start build that up so people can actually get together in person.
00:23:46.000 People still do that, even in this online or this metaverse world.
00:23:50.000 People get together in person and activities, and especially we have a big campus push that's going to be coming up this fall to start getting some of our young people on the platform, which will be great.
00:24:00.000 You got to be at least 16 to have a Getter account.
00:24:02.000 So we do draw a different line than say TikTok and some of the other platforms.
00:24:06.000 But we definitely want to get our college students on the platform and active.
00:24:10.000 Jason from Getter, Jason Miller.
00:24:12.000 Thank you so much.
00:24:12.000 Hope to see you soon.
00:24:13.000 God bless you.
00:24:14.000 Thank you.
00:24:14.000 Thank you, sir.

00:25:11.000 Check it out right now.
00:25:15.000 Let me play you a piece of tape here from something that's really been going viral.
00:25:20.000 It's extraordinary.
00:25:21.000 So we talked about this a little bit, but I don't think I had an opportunity to build this out as deeply as I wanted to.
00:25:29.000 So let's play this tape here, which is cut 12 from this.
00:25:34.000 No, we already played that.
00:25:35.000 Let's play cut 35.
00:25:37.000 If you haven't seen this tape, it's incredible.
00:25:39.000 Josh Hawley and Professor Bridges from University of California, Berkeley.
00:25:43.000 I want to build this out because if you're sending your child to college, this is the type of nonsense that they are consuming.
00:25:52.000 I've seen this clip four times.
00:25:53.000 It does not get old.
00:25:54.000 I get something new out of it every single time.
00:25:57.000 And this is not some sort of one-off.
00:25:58.000 And by the way, it's not just colleges.
00:26:01.000 I want you to look at it, I want you to frame this entire thing you're about to see with Josh Hawley a little bit differently.
00:26:07.000 This is in our military.
00:26:10.000 Play cut 35.
00:26:13.000 So your view is that the core of this, this right then is about what?
00:26:18.000 So I want to recognize that your line of questioning is transphobic and it opens up trans people to violence by not recognizing that.
00:26:27.000 Wow, you're saying that I'm opening up people to violence by asking whether or not women are the folks who can have pregnancies?
00:26:33.000 So I want to note that one out of five transgender persons have attempted suicide.
00:26:40.000 So I think it's important.
00:26:41.000 Because of my line of questioning?
00:26:42.000 So we can't talk about it.
00:26:43.000 Because denying that trans people exist and pretending not to know that they exist.
00:26:48.000 I'm denying that trans people exist by asking about women having pregnancies.
00:26:53.000 Do you believe that men can get pregnant?
00:26:56.000 No, I don't think so.
00:26:57.000 So you are denying that trans people like this.
00:26:59.000 And that leads to violence.
00:27:00.000 Is this how you run your classroom?
00:27:02.000 Are students allowed to question you, or are they also treated like this?
00:27:05.000 Are you told that they're opening up people to violence?
00:27:09.000 I can't stand smug people.
00:27:11.000 I can't stand them.
00:27:12.000 I just want to say one quick thing about this idea of one in five transgender youth try to commit suicide.
00:27:21.000 Okay.
00:27:22.000 So it's a very important distinction to understand this: is that if you are transgender, you're suffering under a mental condition called gender dysphoria.
00:27:31.000 You're suffering under a delusion that is disconnected from reality.
00:27:37.000 Therefore, you're more likely to have other potential mental issues and mental problems, such as self-harm, suicidal ideation.
00:27:46.000 And so, what she is trying to say is: well, transgender people are commit suicide because of all of you.
00:27:52.000 Let's be honest about this.
00:27:54.000 Not every single person who tries to commit suicide is obviously a transgender person, but people that are suffering under that delusion, suffering under that issue, have a much higher likelihood, regardless of how they're treated by other people, of wanting to harm themselves.
00:28:11.000 I say that with compassion, but she is now trying to loop in a senator from Missouri on how kind of questions he's asking because young people that are dealing with something very serious is somehow his fault.
00:28:25.000 Just needs to be said.
00:28:29.000 Hey, everybody, this common sense is brought to you by the folks at secondvote.com, amazing people who are fighting back against woke corporations.
00:28:37.000 Subscribe now at secondvote.com, promo code Charlie.
00:28:40.000 Good afternoon.
00:28:41.000 I'm Rebecca Hatfield, president of Second Vote.
00:28:44.000 We've had uniquely American common sense since 1776, but now we're in the age of common nonsense.
00:28:50.000 Today's nonsense comes from the big corporations fighting the Supreme Court.
00:28:54.000 They can't accept the conservatives have won three huge victories.
00:28:58.000 So they're trying to overpower the court's legitimate decisions, and they're using your hard-earned dollars to fund it.
00:29:05.000 On Life, the court finally overturned Roe versus Wade.
00:29:08.000 So some companies are paying for employees to travel to states where they can get an abortion.
00:29:13.000 It's the usual suspects like Target, Starbucks, and Dick Sporting Goods, but also others like Macy's, Netflix, and Airbnb.
00:29:21.000 On the Second Amendment, the court clarified that we have a constitutional right to carry a firearm.
00:29:26.000 So 200 CEOs signed a letter demanding gun control.
00:29:29.000 It's just common sense that you have the right to carry a firearm everywhere.
00:29:33.000 But woke liberals don't want you to be able to protect yourself.
00:29:37.000 On Religious Liberty, the court ruled that, of course, a high school football coach has the right to pray after games.
00:29:43.000 So woke CEOs promised to further remove religion from our lives.
00:29:47.000 HR policies will stop employees from celebrating their faith at work.
00:29:51.000 And big tech will continue to censor and silence Christian voices.
00:29:56.000 These crucial issues are why Second Vote does the research to expose big corporations by scoring hundreds of companies on traditional American values.
00:30:04.000 And we want you to use Second Vote research to make better choices with your money.
00:30:09.000 So please make sure to arm yourselves every day with the knowledge you need to shop smart and stop funding the left.
00:30:14.000 I'm Rebecca Hatfield, president of Second Vote, reminding you that your first vote is at the ballot box, but your second vote is with your wallet.
00:30:22.000 Make sure you go to secondvote.com and subscribe now using promo code Charlie for just $40 for a whole year.
00:30:27.000 That's secondvote.com, promo code Charlie.
00:30:33.000 I know you're thinking right now, what is the hope for the country?
00:30:38.000 Because I know there's so much negativity that happens here, and we have to continue to show that there is hope and some of the things that we are doing are really working.
00:30:49.000 I want to play this tape here.
00:30:52.000 He's not an American.
00:30:54.000 I grew up with Serbs.
00:30:55.000 I have a lot of respect for Serbs.
00:30:57.000 As long as there are good people that fight, we have hope.
00:31:01.000 As long as there are good people that are in the trenches, we have hope.
00:31:06.000 I want to play Cut 10 of Novak Zojkovich reaffirms his COVID-19 stance.
00:31:12.000 This man is a hero and deserves to be platformed.
00:31:16.000 Play Cut 10.
00:31:17.000 Novak, Frank Ponyke, which good news are you waiting exactly from U.S. weapon exemption or?
00:31:23.000 Well, yeah, I mean, I'm not vaccinated and I'm not planning to get vaccinated, so the only good news I can have is them removing the mandated green vaccine card or whatever you call it to enter the United States or exemption.
00:31:43.000 Let's talk about Novak Zhoikovic.
00:31:46.000 He is arguably the best tennis player in the world.
00:31:49.000 I'm not a big tennis fan, but I'm a big fan of his, that's for sure.
00:31:52.000 It's his 21st major.
00:31:54.000 Why would Novak Zhoikovic be so stubborn about such a thing?
00:31:57.000 Prioritizing principle and bodily autonomy over immediate success.
00:32:02.000 What's going on with him?
00:32:04.000 You see, the smug, arrogant activist media either ignore him or they smear him.
00:32:09.000 Well, he's won 21 majors.
00:32:16.000 He's won 21 Grand Slams?
00:32:19.000 Okay, I'm sorry.
00:32:21.000 You guys are sending me all this stuff.
00:32:22.000 I don't watch tennis.
00:32:24.000 Okay, he's won 21 Grand Slams.
00:32:26.000 That's the right tennis term, not a major.
00:32:27.000 Okay, major is golf.
00:32:30.000 Not exactly my recreational expertise.
00:32:33.000 So, but let's talk about Novak Zhoikovic.
00:32:35.000 Where is he from?
00:32:36.000 Novak Zhoikovic is Serbian.
00:32:40.000 Now, if you know anything about the history of Serbia and Yugoslavia, you know that they lived under communist rule.
00:32:48.000 Now, the Serbs have a nuanced view of a guy by the name of Tito.
00:32:54.000 Tito was the president of Yugoslavia.
00:32:56.000 He was a communist leader.
00:32:58.000 He was a communist revolutionary statesman.
00:33:01.000 But there was a fair amount of suppression of free speech, of suppression of bodily autonomy, of the clamping down of individual rights and liberties.
00:33:12.000 Some people saw him as authoritarian, other people as a benevolent dictator.
00:33:16.000 But Novak Zhoikovic certainly realized growing up that that is not the way that human beings should live.
00:33:23.000 So why is Novak Zhoikovic willing to put up principle over a stupid and silly and meaningless vaccine mandate?
00:33:33.000 Because he does not have a memory of freedom.
00:33:36.000 He knows freedom now, but he has a memory of tyranny.
00:33:41.000 You see, Novak Zhoikovic was raised by parents that lived under that kind of a regime where they could force you to do something.
00:33:53.000 And Djokovic says, you know what?
00:33:55.000 As long as I'm a tennis player and I'm good, I don't have to comply.
00:34:02.000 God bless him for that.
