The Charlie Kirk Show - Masks Don't Work. Here's Why.

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, this is producer Andrew Colvett filling in for Charlie.

00:00:04.000 Masks don't work and here's why.

00:00:07.000 I go through in great detail why masks don't work, why mask mandates are ridiculous, and while they might even have the opposite effect in surging coronavirus cases across the nation.

00:00:20.000 And as a matter of fact, we have international examples to prove this as well as domestic ones.

00:00:24.000 Folks, do not comply.

00:00:26.000 Do not give in.

00:00:27.000 Mass mandates are coming.

00:00:28.000 They are in fact already here. 0.92

00:00:30.000 This is an episode dedicated to why we must fight back and why they are ridiculous.

00:00:35.000 Guys, if you want to support the efforts of this show and all of our great team, please consider doing so at charliekirk.com forward slash support.

00:00:43.000 Your support means the world to us.

00:00:44.000 It keeps us going.

00:00:45.000 It gives us the courage to move forward and say the truth and speak it loudly and proudly and boldly.

00:00:50.000 Thank you for all of those of you who are already supporting our efforts.

00:00:54.000 And to those of you who are not, please consider doing so.

00:00:57.000 Guys, without further ado, buckle up.

00:00:59.000 Here we go.

00:01:00.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:01:02.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:01:04.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:01:07.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:01:10.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:01:11.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:01:12.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:01:19.000 Turning point USA. 0.65

00:01:21.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:30.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:32.000 Look, it doesn't matter what your politics are or who you voted for.

00:01:35.000 Everyone should have the right to express themselves freely.

00:01:39.000 Sadly, the big tech monopoly has instead opted for silencing tactics and censorship.

00:01:43.000 To fight back against big tech's control of the internet, I use ExpressVPN.

00:01:47.000 Ever wondered how free to access tech giants make all their money?

00:01:50.000 Well, by tracking your searches, video history, and everything you click on by building a profile on you and then selling your sensitive data.

00:01:58.000 When you use ExpressVPN app on your computer or phone, you anonymize much of your online presence by hiding your IP address.

00:02:05.000 That makes your activity more difficult to trace and sell to advertisers.

00:02:09.000 What's more is ExpressVPN encrypts 100% of your network data to protect you from eavesdroppers and cyber criminals.

00:02:15.000 What I like most is how easy it is to use.

00:02:17.000 It takes just one click to protect all your devices.

00:02:20.000 That's why ExpressVPN is rated number one by CNET and Wired.

00:02:23.000 Revoke big tech's right to your data.

00:02:25.000 Do what I have done and secure your internet right now with the VPN I trust for online protection.

00:02:48.000 I want to talk about masks.

00:02:50.000 I want to talk about vaccine passports.

00:02:52.000 I want to talk about all this stuff because it seemed like about two weeks ago, and I actually really remember this very well.

00:03:00.000 Charlie was on Tucker Carlson's show and he was describing that all of a sudden this messaging change happened.

00:03:07.000 And it happened really on the center right and even within conservative circles.

00:03:12.000 He went on Tucker Carlson and he said, what happened in the last 48 hours that it feels like there's this coordinated effort to all of a sudden push vaccines and push vaccine mandates.

00:03:23.000 And really it was sort of like a buckling.

00:03:27.000 We blinked on the right.

00:03:29.000 And then what happened?

00:03:32.000 The surge, not necessarily of COVID deaths or anything like that, but a surge in mandates, what I call panic porn or pandemic porn, news outlets, everybody talking about Delta, Delta, Delta.

00:03:51.000 So here we are.

00:03:52.000 About two weeks later after Charlie first noted that.

00:03:55.000 I remember Tucker's eyes kind of raising.

00:03:57.000 I kind of said, ah, you know, you're totally right.

00:03:59.000 48 hours is all it took.

00:04:01.000 We blinked, and this is what we get.

00:04:03.000 I'm just going to go through a series of headlines.

00:04:05.000 I pulled these this morning talking about just different escalations in the pandemic.

00:04:13.000 Breaking, Governor of Maryland suggests he will impose more lockdowns due to people believing, quote, conspiracy theories about the vaccine.

00:04:20.000 New York City edict prevents majority of blacks from entering restaurants.

00:04:25.000 True story. 0.67

00:04:26.000 New York City will require workers and customers to show proof of at least one dose for indoor dining and other activities.

00:04:33.000 Now, which is kind of actually of note because you're not technically fully vaccinated until two weeks after your second dose.

00:04:40.000 Nevertheless, you've got to have at least one pass.

00:04:44.000 You know, it's interesting, too, that the New York Times has already capitulated to the whole vaccine mandate thing.

00:04:52.000 And so they're just going, they're going straight for this headline.

00:04:54.000 Here's how you can show proof of vaccination in New York City.

00:04:58.000 Another headline from The Atlantic.

00:05:00.000 Unvaccinated people need to bear the burden. 1.00

00:05:02.000 Beyond limiting the coronavirus's flow from hotspots to the rest of the country, allowing only vaccinated people on domestic flights will change minds too.

00:05:11.000 This is a CNN analyst who wrote that for The Atlantic.

00:05:15.000 So now the privilege, as she calls it, of traveling around the country will only be limited to those who have been vaccinated.

00:05:27.000 Zero tolerance.

00:05:28.000 CNN fires unvaccinated employees.

00:05:32.000 As if they needed any more proof that CNN was a disastrous place.

00:05:37.000 Oh my gosh.

00:05:38.000 New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy to announce mask requirements for kids in K through 12 schools.

00:05:44.000 Mask mandate reinstated in San Francisco as daily COVID deaths hit zero.

00:05:51.000 This is all real.

00:05:52.000 I mean, this is real stuff.

00:05:56.000 CDC discusses confinement, internment camps for those at high risk of china virus.

00:06:02.000 The new American.

00:06:03.000 Now, I know you're not allowed to say that.

00:06:04.000 It's a thought crime.

00:06:05.000 It's a word crime to say China virus, but nevertheless, this is actually a true story.

00:06:09.000 We're going to get into it later in the hour.

00:06:11.000 Confinement, internment camps, essentially, obviously they're not going to use those words, but practically it's the same.

00:06:18.000 Chicago Teachers Union says coronavirus Delta variant opens door to potentially pause in-person instruction.

00:06:25.000 So we all thought kids were going to go back to school in the fall and yay, vaccine.

00:06:29.000 Oh, no, the country's open.

00:06:30.000 Oh, not so fast, folks.

00:06:32.000 That 100 million folks that aren't getting vaccinated, they're not letting your kids go back to school.

00:06:37.000 See what they're doing?

00:06:39.000 The carrot isn't working anymore, so they're going to use the stick.

00:06:44.000 California healthcare.

00:06:45.000 This was trending on Twitter this morning.

00:06:46.000 California healthcare workers must be vaccinated by the end of September under new health order.

00:06:52.000 That's right.

00:06:53.000 If you work in healthcare in the state of California, you have to be vaccinated by the end of September.

00:07:00.000 We're going to get into that one, too.

00:07:02.000 And here you go.

00:07:03.000 Here's the kicker.

00:07:04.000 And this is probably one of the biggest reasons that we should never give the federal government so much of our money orbit power.

00:07:15.000 We have a federalist system of government where the states have power and the federal government sure is granted certain powers, but it was supposed to be limited.

00:07:25.000 Not so limited as it was in the Articles of the Confederation, but which led to chaos and we did need a little bit more central authority as our founders decided.

00:07:34.000 So we created the Constitution.

00:07:36.000 But nevertheless, we should limit the powers that go to the federal government because of this kind of craziness.

00:07:43.000 White House doesn't deny it is considering withholding funds to force vaccinations.

00:07:51.000 Okay, so we pay our money to the federal government, and then the federal government uses that and holds it over our head if certain states want to go their own way.

00:07:59.000 So every time we send a dollar to Washington, you just remember when they send that money back to the states for road grants, whatever it is, we talked about this in a previous episode that the Biden administration is going to start using HUD grants to force local municipalities to change their zoning ordinances to basically destroy the suburbs.

00:08:26.000 And now they're saying, hey, if you're not mandating vaccinations sufficiently in your local communities, guess what?

00:08:34.000 We are going to then withhold federal funds.

00:08:37.000 Now, this is not decisional yet, as the statement from the White House made clear, but it is being floated as one of the options.

00:08:45.000 Now, remember, the carrot wasn't working anymore, folks.

00:08:50.000 Got to move to the stick.

00:08:52.000 So these are just, this is a sampling of headlines.

00:08:56.000 And I mean, our team, our crack team here at the Charlie Kirk show has pulled all kinds of clips on this.

00:09:05.000 Clip 11.

00:09:05.000 Let's go all the way back to Clip 11 from earlier this week.

00:09:09.000 This is Tony Fauci basically talking about this whole idea of masks being mandated or not mandated.

00:09:20.000 Clip 11, let's play it.

00:09:22.000 They are arguing that this is individual responsibility and individuals' right to decide.

00:09:27.000 What is your answer to these, you know, these are Republican governors in some of the largest states in our country?

00:09:35.000 Well, John, I disagree with them.

00:09:37.000 I respectfully disagree with them.

00:09:39.000 The fact is, there are things that are individual responsibilities that one has, and there are things that have to do with you individually, which also impact others.

00:09:51.000 So he fundamentally disagrees with personal freedom. 0.99

00:09:54.000 Just so we're translating that clearly, Tony Fauci says, listen, if I tell you to put on a mask, you bigot, you put on your darn mask right now. 0.99

00:10:04.000 I don't want to hear any ifs, ands, or buts about it, you petulant child. 0.99

00:10:07.000 You do what daddy says.

00:10:09.000 I'm Tony Fauci.

00:10:11.000 Personal liberties, that's for the birds.

00:10:14.000 That's un-American. 0.81

00:10:16.000 You need to care about your neighbor.

00:10:18.000 You need to wear the mask.

00:10:20.000 Well, folks, later in this hour, I'm going to do a comprehensive takedown of masks.

00:10:25.000 I'm going to show and prove.

00:10:27.000 And if you're on the live stream, you'll see some videos that don't have a lot of sound, but they sort of demonstrate it, why masks don't work.

00:10:33.000 Okay?

00:10:35.000 Now, this is sweeping the country.

00:10:38.000 Our students are at risk of losing their school year.

00:10:41.000 Again, those who are going to go to school are going to be wearing a mask.

00:10:44.000 And why?

00:10:45.000 Because of a Delta variant that is not deadly.

00:10:50.000 It's not more deadly than the alpha variant that we lived through last year and earlier this year.

00:10:55.000 It's not more deadly.

00:10:56.000 It may be more contagious, but it's not more deadly.

00:10:58.000 Folks, this is a very, very troubling, dangerous, and sad turn of events for this country, and we must not comply.

00:11:07.000 I'm going to give you the data you need to back up your decisions to remain free people and not to comply with this tyrannical government, these tyrannical government edicts.

00:11:17.000 More on the other side of the break.

00:11:20.000 From critical race theory in your children's classroom to policy changes under the current administration, you need to know what's happening from a news source you can trust.

00:11:30.000 Unfortunately, most media outlets opt for shameless virtue signaling and state propaganda in lieu of the truth.

00:11:38.000 It's an insult to your intelligence, which is why my good friends, great people, at the Daily Wire, are providing an alternative.

00:11:45.000 From the Daily Wire newsroom comes Morning Wire, a daily morning news podcast that gives you the facts you need to know first.

00:12:25.000 Each episode will be short with only enough room to fit the facts so you can be sure your breakfast isn't being served with a side of somebody else's agenda.

00:12:34.000 Seriously, go subscribe as soon as you can.

00:12:37.000 The Daily Wire is now launching the Morning Wire.

00:12:41.000 It's called Morning Wire.

00:12:42.000 Check it out.

00:12:45.000 Okay, so I'm going to just play some random sound here, okay?

00:12:49.000 Let's go ahead and play Cut 122.

00:12:52.000 This is Dr. Michael Osterholm saying the quiet part out loud on CNN.

00:12:57.000 Cut 122, quiet part out loud.

00:13:00.000 Go ahead and play.

00:13:00.000 We know today that many of the facecloth coverings that people wear are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out.

00:13:07.000 We need to talk about better masking.

00:13:09.000 We need to talk about N95 respirators.

00:13:13.000 Okay, so this is a former COVID advisor on CNN saying that, you know, we need to talk about better masking.

00:13:23.000 Okay.

00:13:25.000 Listen, I'm just going to start going through some clips here.

00:13:28.000 Let's go to 105.

00:13:30.000 This is Fauci again in March 2020 talking about, hey, you don't need a mask.

00:13:37.000 Come on, 105.

00:13:39.000 Right now, people should not be walking.

00:13:40.000 There's no reason to be walking around with a mask.

00:13:43.000 When you're in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet.

00:13:53.000 But it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is.

00:13:58.000 And often, there are unintended consequences.

00:14:01.000 People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.

00:14:05.000 Okay, so how does that square with what he said over the weekend saying that, well, you know, listen, you know, I don't really, I think that you're wrong for wanting your freedom from masks.

00:14:17.000 Let's go ahead and play what a real peach, Governor Aza Hutchinson from Arkansas saying, you know what?

00:14:24.000 He regrets signing a bill banning mask mandates.

00:14:28.000 This is Cut 61.

00:14:30.000 Now, remember, Aza Hutchinson was the same governor who got excoriated on Tucker Carlson's show over the trans issue. 1.00

00:14:39.000 So let's go ahead and play Cut 61.

00:14:41.000 I signed it for those reasons that our cases are at a low point.

00:14:44.000 Everything has changed now.

00:14:46.000 And yes, in hindsight, I wish that had not become law.

00:14:50.000 But it is the law, and the only chance we have is either to amend it or for the courts to say that it has an unconstitutional foundation.

00:14:59.000 That's a Republican saying he regrets signing a law that provided freedom to his constituents.

00:15:07.000 Let's go to Cut 31. 0.67

00:15:09.000 This is CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on how she wants to mask up all your kids at school.

00:15:17.000 Cut 31.

00:15:18.000 So in my mind, as a vaccine-preventable disease, we want to make sure that our kids stay in school wearing a mask.

00:15:26.000 And then when the vaccines, should the vaccines become available for our children to vaccinate them to keep them safe and healthy.

00:15:33.000 Let's go to CUT 24.

00:15:34.000 This is Governor DeWine out of Ohio, another Republican, quote unquote, that he's urging Ohio schools to require kids wear masks in class.

00:15:43.000 Let's go ahead and play CUT 24.

00:15:45.000 Tell you what we have done.

00:15:46.000 We came out last week with recommendations.

00:15:49.000 There are recommendations.

00:15:50.000 We leave it up to the local schools, 600 or some local schools.

00:15:54.000 We leave it up to them.

00:15:56.000 But we have a strong recommendation that because the population in school, kids in school, most of them are unvaccinated.

00:16:04.000 And we had great success last winter, last school year.

00:16:08.000 We saw virtually no spread in the classroom when all the kids were wearing masks.

00:16:11.000 So we recommend.

00:16:13.000 strong recommendation to our schools that they do that.

00:16:16.000 Now, some will do that, some will not.

00:16:18.000 So we have all of this sound that we, I literally just, I picked random clips.

00:16:24.000 We've got so much of this now that, you know, essentially mask mandates and vaccine mandates are now the very trendy cause du jour of our of our ruling class.

00:16:36.000 But here's the thing, and I'm going to go into this in great detail.

00:16:38.000 I know I've been teasing it.

00:16:39.000 I'm going to go into six different examples, six different examples that are provable of how masks do not work.

00:16:47.000 And I'm also going to get into particulate size.

00:16:50.000 Now, I'm not going to get all into the weeds so that I lose everybody, everybody falls asleep.

00:16:53.000 Nevertheless, I can prove that masks do not work and that there are at least six very provable instances of when masks were mandated, cases went up.

00:17:05.000 So the mass crowd is going to have to prove to me that there's any utility in wearing masks.

00:17:10.000 Nevertheless, this is the push across the country, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and they are not telling you all the facts, folks.

00:17:18.000 This is just to make you feel like they're doing something.

00:17:23.000 Hey, everybody, for the last year, a slew of bad policies have weakened America to the point where now even our food supply is in danger.

00:17:32.000 That's why I urge you to get yourself some emergency food from My Patriot Supply.

00:18:26.000 We are talking about masks.

00:18:28.000 We're talking about mass mandates.

00:18:29.000 If you have questions, and I was just actually going through some of your emails during the break, please email us at freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:18:37.000 And we're all sort of in the inbox.

00:18:39.000 So Connor will be looking at him.

00:18:41.000 I'll be looking at him.

00:18:42.000 Charlie will be looking at him.

00:18:44.000 So please do send your questions there.

00:18:46.000 I got one, and I think this is, it's very, it's very common.

00:18:50.000 This is probably one of the most common questions that we get.

00:18:53.000 Hi, Charlie.

00:18:54.000 I've been listening to you for almost two years, and the info is amazing.

00:19:00.000 This is from Giovanna, by the way.

00:19:02.000 I have a question.

00:19:03.000 Are there any options to deny the vaccine if they are requiring it at work?

00:19:07.000 My husband is a deputy sheriff, and we'll just say in California.

00:19:11.000 He just received an email that all county employees must get the jab before October 1st.

00:19:16.000 We are not planning on getting the vaccine.

00:19:18.000 He has worked for the department for over 15 years, and we want to know if there are any resources to help in this matter.

00:19:23.000 Please help.

00:19:24.000 Well, this is the issue of the day, right?

00:19:29.000 We get this question all the time.

00:19:31.000 You know, a lot of people feel like they're healthy.

00:19:33.000 This has a mortality rate.

00:19:35.000 The virus has a mortality rate of like 0.08%.

00:19:39.000 Actually, you know what?

00:19:41.000 We've got some great sound here from Rand Paul that I want to play specifically on this.

00:19:48.000 It looks like Cut 101.

00:19:51.000 Let's play Cut 101.

00:19:52.000 This is Ram Paul on Fox and Friends this morning with Brian Kilmead, who's been like trending every day because he doesn't agree with any of these mandates.

00:20:01.000 Let's play Cut 101, hear from Ram Paul.

00:20:03.000 Even the CDC says you're not supposed to get vaccinated if you've been infected within three months.

00:20:07.000 So what are we going to do?

00:20:08.000 Tell people they can't fly for three months, even according to the CDC.

00:20:12.000 So I do believe natural immunities should be taken into account. 0.96

00:20:15.000 But even according to the CDC, this idiot would have us not flying for three months. 0.97

00:20:20.000 So it makes no sense. 1.00

00:20:22.000 It's complete collectivism.

00:20:24.000 And all of these people are the same people who hooted and hollered and said, Trump is leading us to authoritarianism.

00:20:30.000 What could be more authoritarian than a no-fly list for people who disagree with you?

00:20:35.000 And that's actually about the no-fly list, which is very connected to all of this sort of collectivist thinking, this mandate thinking.

00:20:42.000 Cut 102 is talking specifically about masks and decreasing rates of the disease.

00:20:48.000 Let's play Cut 102, Ram Paul.

00:20:50.000 I think that if you look objectively at mask mandates, whether it's in states, cities, counties, or countries, there's no correlation between a mask mandate and reduction and incidence of the disease.

00:21:01.000 In fact, it's the opposite.

00:21:02.000 The more mandates we got, the more of the disease we got.

00:21:05.000 Now, I don't think the mask caused the disease, but I don't think the mask helped any.

00:21:09.000 And in fact, most people are wearing cloth masks, and 97% of virus-sized particles go through cloth masks.

00:21:15.000 So it's actually a disservice.

00:21:16.000 When Dr. Fauci says, oh, the mask is more important than the vaccine, that's malpractice.

00:21:22.000 He basically goes on to reiterate that this Delta variant is not more deadly.

00:21:29.000 And that is a very, very important piece to this entire puzzle, folks, that the Delta variant is not more deadly.

00:21:36.000 It is so, your mortality rate is so high if you are young, if you don't have comorbidities, meaning your chance of surviving this is so high that I'm not even kidding you.

00:21:47.000 We get thousands of these emails coming through.

00:21:49.000 What can we do?

00:21:50.000 So we were talking about the Sheriff Department in California, Los Angeles Times this morning, California healthcare workers must be vaccinated end of September under a new health order.

00:22:00.000 So in this LA Times article, it says the new order largely removes the testing option and allows only limited religious or medical exemptions from the vaccine requirement.

00:22:10.000 So my advice to people like Giovanna, who's emailing us, there's hundreds and thousands of you that have done, please pursue.

00:22:18.000 A lot of you are in situations working at departments like the Sheriff's Department for 15 years.

00:22:24.000 Getting out is not so easy.

00:22:26.000 Moving jobs is not so easy.

00:22:28.000 Pursue the religious or medical exemptions.

00:22:31.000 Please, by all means, there's going to be lawsuits that are coming out.

00:22:34.000 Get on board with the lawsuits.

00:22:36.000 Hopefully we start seeing a lot more class action lawsuits.

00:22:38.000 This law fare is tremendously important.

00:22:42.000 We've got to pursue it as much as we can.

00:22:45.000 And then pursue the religious and medical exemptions when you can, okay?

00:22:48.000 So you heard in that clip from Rand Paul that the masks largely don't work.

00:22:54.000 And I've been hinting at this for most of the hour.

00:22:57.000 And I'm going to steal some great work from a friend of ours, Daniel Horowitz, the Blaze.

00:23:02.000 Very smart guy.

00:23:03.000 You might even call him a bit on the, well, just, I don't want to say nerdy, but, you know, he's almost there.

00:23:10.000 This is a guy that is just, he's a numbers guy.

00:23:13.000 He's very analytical.

00:23:14.000 Horowitz, six times the media credited mass with stopping a pandemic that then spread even more.

00:23:21.000 You heard what Rand Paul, who's actually a doctor, said about the fact that there's no correlation between masks and decreasing rates of the disease.

00:23:32.000 That is because there isn't any correlation.

00:23:35.000 As a matter of fact, there's a lot of correlation to the opposite.

00:23:39.000 Now, I want to go into the six instances that you can prove this.

00:23:44.000 And I'll just say them, and then we'll dive in in a little bit of detail on some of them.

00:23:48.000 India.

00:23:51.000 India had over 80% mask compliance in February of this year, and their cases went up almost 3,000%.

00:23:59.000 Okay?

00:24:00.000 The Czech Republic, Japan, Israel, San Francisco, and Germany are all examples, provable, statistical, proven examples of mask mandates doing nothing to stem the tide of big surges in coronavirus.

00:24:20.000 So there's a couple different reasons for this, of course.

00:24:24.000 And one of them is, you know, we sort of gloss over the most logical pieces of this.

00:24:33.000 And that's that there is a lot of gaps in a mask.

00:24:38.000 So even the most fit, you know, we played the sound from CNN that says most cloth masks don't work.

00:24:44.000 And so this gentleman, I believe his name is Dr. Michael Osterholm, said we need to start talking about better masking.

00:24:51.000 So what we have here is a divergence between two things.

00:24:55.000 One is what they see in the test laboratories, meaning they test these masks in a very controlled environment and they get to see certain results, right?

00:25:03.000 The problem is when you take these out into the public, nobody is using them as you would use them in a controlled environment.

00:25:09.000 You're touching your face, you're moving it around.

00:25:11.000 I mean, if you go to the airport, half the people have the mask underneath their nose.

00:25:15.000 There's no control for all this.

00:25:17.000 And a lot of these are just cloth masks.

00:25:19.000 A lot of these are like fashion masks.

00:25:21.000 Very few are actually N95 masks, which are the ones that have seen some improvement in a controlled environment.

00:25:28.000 Now, but here's the kicker.

00:25:31.000 Steven Petty, one of the most experienced certified industrial hygienists in the country, put together this chart based on research on mask filtration.

00:25:42.000 It demonstrated that if just 3.2% of the mask space is open, the efficacy of the mask goes down to zero.

00:25:51.000 Now, translation, 3.2% of the mask being open, what does that really mean?

00:25:56.000 So if you think about masks, there's these creases on the side of your face, up around your nose, maybe around your chin, that don't sit perfectly on your face.

00:26:06.000 And what happens when you breathe out, the air and the oxygen and everything and the particulates that are in your breath tend to move to the area of least resistance.

00:26:19.000 So you only need 3.2% of the overall surface area of the mask to be exposed for the efficacy of that mask to go down to zero.

00:26:28.000 Now, I'm going to play some clips here for the streaming audience of somebody actually testing this.

00:26:36.000 It's a woman smoking. 1.00

00:26:39.000 This is with a medical mask and a regular cloth mask, smoking, and she's basically breathing out, and you see the smoke going all through these uncovered areas. 1.00

00:26:51.000 Now, why is this relevant?

00:26:52.000 Why is smoking relevant?

00:26:54.000 I don't even know if this lady's a real smoker. 1.00

00:26:56.000 You can go and play that clip.

00:26:58.000 I think I could talk over it.

00:26:59.000 But she's going to, she's, the size of the particulate in smoke, but the size of the particulates in smoke is roughly the same as the particulates in coronavirus.

00:27:12.000 So these expose, you can play the next clip, 104.

00:27:17.000 By smoking a cigarette is a really visual demonstration of how coronavirus is still escaping outside of a mask and how there's basically no protection that they suggest, right?

00:27:31.000 So in very Detailed in a very detailed way.

00:27:39.000 This is from Megan Mansell.

00:27:43.000 She's a hazardous environs PPE expert.

00:27:48.000 She said, This is what everyone gets wrong from day one, or perhaps what Fauci and others originally got right.

00:27:53.000 The COVID conversation should have begun with minimum viable particulate size under pressure, which for COVID-sized particulates is 0.06 microns.

00:28:03.000 90% of exhaled particulates fall within the radically behaving particulate airborne particulate range.

00:28:09.000 Okay, so the point is: the size of what you breathe out, the particulates, is small enough to escape through the pores in the mask, even really good masks, especially cloth masks, which are ridiculous.

00:28:23.000 And Rand Paul said it very clearly.

00:28:25.000 I want to play that clip one more time.

00:28:26.000 Rand Paul, let's play 102 Ram Paul.

00:28:30.000 I think that if you look objectively at mask mandates, whether it's in states, cities, counties, or countries, there's no correlation between a mask mandate and reduction and incidence of the disease.

00:28:41.000 In fact, it's the opposite.

00:28:42.000 The more mandates we got, the more of the disease we got.

00:28:45.000 Now, I don't think the mask caused the disease, but I don't think the mask helped any.

00:28:49.000 And in fact, most people are wearing cloth masks, and 97% of virus-sized particles go through cloth masks.

00:28:55.000 So it's actually a disservice.

00:28:56.000 When Dr. Fauci says, oh, the mask is more important than the vaccine, that's malpractice.

00:29:02.000 So I'm broadcasting out of California, and in my county today, the mask mandate for indoors just went into effect again.

00:29:12.000 Rand Paul just said 97% of particulates can get through your average cloth mask.

00:29:20.000 Now, it sounds like even sort of other masks, you only have to, even N95 mask, if you only have 3.2% of surface area open, they are useless.

00:29:31.000 And I said before, India, the Czech Republic, and we'll put these graphs on CharlieKirk.com for you.

00:29:39.000 You will see that as soon as you have a mask mandate, these giant spikes in coronavirus.

00:29:46.000 Why?

00:29:47.000 Here's the big takeaway, guys.

00:29:48.000 There's not much we can actually do about stopping the virus.

00:29:52.000 It's highly transmissible.

00:29:54.000 It goes and it sits in a place for about six to eight weeks.

00:29:57.000 It goes through the population, moves on.

00:29:59.000 And if there's another variant, it might come back.

00:30:01.000 It may not.

00:30:02.000 Folks, don't give in to the mask mandates.

00:30:05.000 Do not comply.

00:30:06.000 In other news, by the way, just so you know, that Joe Biden just said that over 350 million Americans have been vaccinated.

00:30:14.000 350 million.

00:30:15.000 Apparently, that's more than the entire population of the United States.

00:30:18.000 I actually tend to disagree with that.

00:30:20.000 I think there's more than 350 because of all the illegals that we haven't counted.

00:30:24.000 Nevertheless, clip 113.

00:30:26.000 Why don't we just play it?

00:30:27.000 So we have to get more people vaccinated.

00:30:30.000 I said well over, what's the number again?

00:30:34.000 I remind myself: 350 million Americans have already been vaccinated.

00:30:39.000 They're doing fine.

00:30:41.000 They're doing fine, folks.

00:30:43.000 By the way, interesting aside, he's wearing a tan suit, which in 2014, for those of you who remember, Obama also wore a tan suit, and it was this big controversy.

00:30:52.000 Apparently, you don't wear tan suits as present.

00:30:56.000 Biden obviously, you know, didn't get the memo, or he got it and wants to just do one, but he got his tan suit tailored even better than Obama had his.

00:31:06.000 I noticed Obama had cufflinks.

00:31:08.000 I never do cufflinks anymore.

00:31:10.000 It's very outdated.

00:31:11.000 All right, so folks, we're talking about why masks don't work, okay?

00:31:17.000 Here's why.

00:31:18.000 Here's another example.

00:31:19.000 I'm going to talk about, I mentioned India, Japan.

00:31:23.000 They had 98% compliance.

00:31:27.000 98%.

00:31:29.000 And listen to Forbes, high rate of mask wearing in Japan responsible for preventing the spread of COVID.

00:31:34.000 That's from June 22nd.

00:31:37.000 96% mass compliance on November 1st.

00:31:40.000 Then a massive spike.

00:31:43.000 A massive spike in COVID.

00:31:45.000 They quadrupled COVID in Japan, even though they had 96% mass compliance.

00:31:50.000 It drops again because this is, again, seasonal.

00:31:53.000 COVID is seasonal.

00:31:54.000 I mentioned this earlier in the week when I was guest hosting.

00:31:58.000 By the way, this is another point.

00:32:00.000 In case you didn't hear it when I said it last time, there is a surge that's happening a little bit.

00:32:06.000 I wouldn't call it a surge.

00:32:07.000 It's an increase, right?

00:32:08.000 They're going to call it a surge.

00:32:09.000 I'm not going to call it a surge.

00:32:11.000 And it's actually seasonal.

00:32:12.000 I didn't get this at all.

00:32:14.000 My friend Aaron Ginn, who's a great follower on Twitter, check him out.

00:32:17.000 He mentioned this to me, and I was like, what are you talking about?

00:32:20.000 It's August.

00:32:21.000 It's warm out.

00:32:22.000 Well, in the South, which is where a lot of the COVID is surging right now, in the South, there is so much heat that people are forced inside.

00:32:32.000 And what do they do during the hot months?

00:32:35.000 They over-air condition internal spaces.

00:32:38.000 They tend to group in internal spaces.

00:32:40.000 And so this actually, there was a spike.

00:32:42.000 If you look at the COVID graphs from 2020, there was a slight spike late July and into August.

00:32:48.000 And then it goes down in the fall and then back up in the winter.

00:32:52.000 It's counterintuitive on some level, but it actually makes sense when you think about AC.

00:32:56.000 If you've ever been in Arizona, which is where our studio is for the show, Charlie often broadcasts out of Arizona.

00:33:03.000 You got to turn it up to like, you got to turn the AC down to like 61 just to fight the 115 degree heat outside.

00:33:10.000 So people are over-air conditioned often in the American South, and that actually increases the rates of spikes.

00:33:17.000 So, folks, let's just go over the details again.

00:33:24.000 There are six very, very solid examples.

00:33:27.000 And again, we're going to put this on CharlieKirk.com after the show, so you can go there.

00:33:32.000 This is work from our friend Daniel Horowitz over at The Blaze.

00:33:35.000 Six examples where masks were instituted, massive compliance.

00:33:40.000 You still saw a spike.

00:33:42.000 The particulate, 97% of the virus particulate is too small to be trapped by the masks.

00:33:52.000 It only takes 3.2% surface area being open or exposed on your mask for the particulate to be, or for the masks to become 0% effective.

00:34:03.000 0%.

00:34:04.000 So if you see any little cracks anywhere, if your nose is exposed, which is often the case, these masks are not effective.

00:34:10.000 And meanwhile, we have governors, we have health officials, we have the president of the United States encouraging, in many cases, mandating the use of masks even for our children, the healthiest in our culture and in our society.

00:34:27.000 It's not only ineffective, it's dehumanizing, which is something we haven't really talked about this hour.

00:34:32.000 So we must push back.

00:34:34.000 We must not comply.

00:34:36.000 We must never be locked down again.

00:34:39.000 We must not allow them to steal our civil liberties and our humanity from us off of illogical nonsense, off of lies, off of propaganda that makes it seem like they're doing something that is for the good of the culture at large.

00:34:52.000 It's not.

00:34:53.000 It's a lie, and it's robbing from us.

00:34:55.000 It's robbing from you, and we can't stand for it.

00:34:59.000 Thanks so much, everybody, for tuning in.

00:35:01.000 I hope that was educational for you.

00:35:03.000 I know I got a lot out of researching it.

00:35:04.000 There's a lot of troubling things going on in Washington, and the swamp is real.

00:35:08.000 It's alive.

00:35:08.000 It's active.

00:35:09.000 We need to stop it.

00:35:10.000 We need to step up.

00:35:11.000 We need our voices to be loud and they need to be heard.

00:35:13.000 We don't want any more of this crazy Washington spending.

00:35:16.000 Guys, consider getting involved with Turning Point USA.
