00:01:23.000 It's very fascinating.
00:01:24.000 Joining us now is Kurt Schlichter, very smart patriot and author of Inferno, a new book out.
00:01:30.000 Kurt, welcome back to the program.
00:01:32.000 Hey, thanks for having me, Charlie.
00:01:33.000 Tell us about the book right off the bat.
00:01:35.000 What is it about?
00:01:37.000 Look, I was a friend of Andrew Breitbart, like a lot of people, and he said, you got to make your own culture.
00:01:42.000 So about eight years ago, actually, about six years ago, I decided to start writing conservative action novels because I was sick of taking these dumb airplane books and throwing them across the room because they were lousy.
00:01:55.000 So I wrote one, and that was called People's Republic.
00:01:58.000 And now I'm on number seven, and I've sold like in the six figures of these things.
00:02:02.000 People love them.
00:02:04.000 This is number one.
00:02:05.000 Inferno's been out since Thursday.
00:02:08.000 It is number one in political fiction.
00:02:10.000 It's in the top 200 and all of Amazon.
00:02:13.000 And I'm trying to do what conservatives should do, which is stop whining about how everything's woke and do something myself.
00:02:21.000 And these books are fun.
00:02:22.000 There's action.
00:02:23.000 There's shooting.
00:02:23.000 There's making fun of liberals.
00:02:25.000 It's got something for everybody.
00:02:27.000 I admittedly have not read them.
00:02:29.000 So is it kind of...
00:02:30.000 It's a personal failure of epic proportions.
00:02:34.000 I have long lists of personal failures and books I need to read.
00:02:37.000 So I'm actually finishing Brave New World, which I am reading in its entirety, which is a very powerful book.
00:02:43.000 So basically, this is.
00:02:44.000 It's an almost unreadable book.
00:02:45.000 The guy writes like five miles a bad road.
00:02:48.000 Brave New World, you're saying it's hard to read.
00:02:50.000 Is that?
00:02:51.000 Yeah.
00:02:52.000 It's incredibly hard to read.
00:02:55.000 It's incredibly hard to read.
00:02:56.000 In fact, I'm an infantryman.
00:02:59.000 I was trained to talk to 18-year-olds again to run up hills.
00:03:03.000 The only way to read Brave New World, in my opinion, is to know what it's about before you read it.
00:03:08.000 You have to like, you have basically have to listen to a lecture about the book, and then it makes sense.
00:03:14.000 But if you were to read it.
00:03:16.000 That's pretty much like reading every chapter of the Bible starting with Acts.
00:03:22.000 Because if you start reading it on your own, you're going to be, what the heck am I reading?
00:03:26.000 I don't get it.
00:03:27.000 You need someone to help you guide you.
00:03:30.000 That's right.
00:03:31.000 So, Kurt, anyway, check it out, Inferno.
00:03:33.000 I have many personal failures, this being one of them, part of the People's Republic series.
00:03:38.000 So, Kurt, let me ask you, you have kind of a finger to the pulse.
00:03:41.000 You look at kind of what's going on in the country, I think, really fairly and honestly.
00:03:44.000 How do you think Republicans stand heading into the midterms at this moment in time?
00:03:49.000 I like to be ruthlessly objective, which sometimes gets me in trouble.
00:03:54.000 You're not part of the team.
00:03:55.000 I'm calling it as I see it.
00:03:57.000 That being said, I feel really good.
00:03:59.000 And I've got a column coming out in town hall on Thursday on the Senate in particular.
00:04:04.000 But look, if you've done this a few times, and look, I'm 57, Charlie.
00:04:10.000 I've done this a few times.
00:04:11.000 You know how it goes.
00:04:12.000 In a wave year, you're really excited in spring.
00:04:15.000 And then in summer, you start doubting yourself and going, oh, maybe we're not going to do that well.
00:04:19.000 And then in fall, people start coming home and saying, you know, we're going to send a message to the guys screwing up everything in Washington.
00:04:27.000 And that's exactly what's happening here.
00:04:29.000 This is all part of the normal pattern.
00:04:31.000 I know we, you know, Charlie, you probably saw it too.
00:04:33.000 We've been getting a lot of pundits who don't pund particularly well telling us we have these lousy candidates.
00:04:42.000 And I just don't buy it.
00:04:43.000 I mean, we've got some exceptional people with exceptional skill sets.
00:04:48.000 You know, a Blake Masters, who I will have as a guest when I'm hosting for Hugh Hewitt tomorrow.
00:04:55.000 I mean, that guy is what an accomplished guy, JD Vance.
00:04:58.000 Look at his background.
00:04:59.000 Great candidates.
00:05:00.000 Look at his skill set.
00:05:01.000 Herschel Walker, have you listened to this guy?
00:05:04.000 I don't know if I want a Senate full of Herschel Walkers or full of Blake Masters, but I love having these guys together because of that perspective.
00:05:11.000 I mean, he's just a decent, good guy who loves people and loves his country.
00:05:16.000 Yes.
00:05:17.000 Dr. Oz, I got to talk to this guy, had my doubts because, you know, I like Dave McClintock.
00:05:23.000 He was another Gulf War vet.
00:05:25.000 And I started talking to him.
00:05:26.000 And what came across was how much Dr. Roz loves the American dream.
00:05:30.000 I mean, this guy started with nothing.
00:05:31.000 Now he's very, very successful.
00:05:33.000 He's a cardiac surgeon.
00:05:35.000 He knows how to connect to people.
00:05:37.000 He understands the sensitivity he's showing to the fentanyl, which the lump, his opponent, can't be bothered with.
00:05:47.000 I don't think we have bad candidates.
00:05:48.000 I think our candidates are actively good.
00:05:51.000 And I know a lot of people tell me I'm wrong, but let's see what happens in November.
00:05:55.000 Yeah, I mean, I think the trends are our friend and you're starting to see it happen in more ways than one.
00:06:01.000 So let me ask you, Kurt, you're kind of, you dive deeper and you're not afraid to tell the truth.
00:06:06.000 What, if any, October surprise did the Democrats have up their sleeve?
00:06:10.000 Look, I think they've, I think they played most of their cards.
00:06:14.000 And I could be wrong.
00:06:15.000 We could have, you know, somebody's DUI or maybe a picture of them in a drag show or some dumb thing coming along.
00:06:23.000 But really, I think they've been in panic mode for a few weeks.
00:06:27.000 And I think if they had good stuff, they'd have dropped it.
00:06:30.000 You know, what they tried to do with Herschel Walker.
00:06:32.000 And of course, showing their total ignorance of conservatives, particularly conservative Christians, who think that, well, you did something questionable in the past.
00:06:46.000 You're over with.
00:06:46.000 You're done.
00:06:48.000 They seem to see us as John Lithgow in the original Footloose, as like these angry brimstone guys who don't understand anything about forgiveness, who don't realize that people grow and change and who are kind of dumb in that they would think that you get rid of the guy who will vote against abortion because maybe he was associated with it a decade ago and instead vote for the guy who thinks you should be able to get an abortion up to the time the kid goes to the DMV,
00:07:18.000 gets his first driver's license.
00:07:19.000 Yeah, isn't it the more operative question of okay, it's a serious accusation.
00:07:23.000 I'm not minimizing abortion.
00:07:24.000 Obviously, I'm pro-life all the way through.
00:07:26.000 But at the moment, isn't the more operative question which one of the two candidates will be actually voting for pro-life policy when they get into the Senate?
00:07:33.000 I mean, you're at a crossroads, right?
00:07:35.000 You have to, you have one or the other.
00:07:37.000 And I said something the other day.
00:07:39.000 Someone said, well, Charlie, you know, I'm not voting for a pastor.
00:07:41.000 I said, you know, I'd actually prefer Herschel Walker as a pastor over Raphael Warnock.
00:07:46.000 Look, I mean, you know, guy's not my pastor.
00:07:52.000 Of course, I grew up a California Methodist.
00:07:53.000 I'm not sure they even have Jesus.
00:07:56.000 But look, I always say, don't try and help the left understand us.
00:08:04.000 A, they're not going.
00:08:05.000 I mean, it's not going to be a problem.
00:08:06.000 They don't want to.
00:08:07.000 They want to understand us in their own stereotypes.
00:08:10.000 Like I said, John Lifgow from Footloose, but they don't understand us, which leads them to making mistakes.
00:08:16.000 And the way they've handled Herschel Walker is a giant mistake.
00:08:20.000 I agree with you.
00:08:22.000 Yeah, they just don't get what we're about.
00:08:24.000 But they also don't get the folklore around Herschel Walker either.
00:08:29.000 I did a segment where I said, you know, Herschel Walker being part of Georgia football and Georgia football being good this year is going to help Herschel Walker.
00:08:36.000 And the left mocked it.
00:08:37.000 I said, have you guys ever been south of the Mason-Dixon line on Saturday?
00:08:40.000 Like ever?
00:08:42.000 Well, that's the thing.
00:08:42.000 No.
00:08:43.000 They haven't.
00:08:44.000 I remember I have very good friends.
00:08:45.000 Look, I'm in Los Angeles.
00:08:46.000 Most of my friends are pretty liberal.
00:08:48.000 Okay.
00:08:49.000 And I had a good friend from college, very liberal guy.
00:08:52.000 We just didn't talk about politics.
00:08:54.000 And one time he said, you know, we got to go to New Orleans.
00:08:57.000 And I said, that's fine.
00:08:58.000 And of course, I'd lived all over the country being in the army and moving around.
00:09:03.000 And he said, yeah, I've been to New York and California.
00:09:06.000 I've never been between them.
00:09:08.000 And this is like a college graduate from what the liberals would call a really good college.
00:09:12.000 And I thought it was adorable how parochial he was.
00:09:15.000 Yeah, but he probably, he's probably been to Paris and Rome, but he hasn't been to Birmingham.
00:09:19.000 Oh, I know he has.
00:09:20.000 Yeah, of course.
00:09:22.000 Obviously, you go to Florence and you go to Brussels, but you wouldn't dare go to Tyler, Texas, right?
00:09:28.000 Yeah.
00:09:28.000 And I've been lucky enough to do all those things.
00:09:32.000 I've been to Florence and I've been to Anniston, Alabama.
00:09:35.000 But that's a very interesting point.
00:09:38.000 Didn't plan to talk about this, but we should have a domestic exchange program where we send our own college kids to the interior of the nation for a semester.
00:09:47.000 Oh, that would be.
00:09:48.000 You know, that's actually brilliant.
00:09:52.000 Look at places like Harvard and everything.
00:09:54.000 And look at their admissions thing.
00:09:56.000 You get admitted if you're a legacy.
00:09:59.000 You get admitted if you're not Asian.
00:10:03.000 You get admitted based on your personal essay and test scores.
00:10:09.000 And it creates a, you know, of course, the purpose of Harvard is not education.
00:10:14.000 It's create a credential that allows you access to the ruling class.
00:10:18.000 Yeah, it's the golden ticket.
00:10:22.000 Look, in the good old days, we Americans argued about which policies to pursue to improve this beautiful country.
00:10:28.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:29.000 Too often we find ourselves arguing about whether or not America is great or not, or whether we should be ashamed or whether we should love America.
00:10:37.000 The reason for this is simple.
00:10:38.000 For too many years, too many of our schools have been neglecting to teach young people about our great heritage of liberty, presenting them instead a dishonest narrative of America as a fundamentally unjust or racist country.
00:10:49.000 Hillsdale College is winning in for America, the wonderful Hillsdale College, by offering a free online course, such as The Great American Story, A Land of Hope, Constitution 101, The Meaning of History of the Constitution.
00:11:01.000 As we get closer to Constitution Day, September 17th, I encourage all of you to enroll in one of these wonderful free courses from Hillsdale.
00:11:08.000 And even better, encourage your friends and family to sign up too.
00:11:11.000 Begin your Hillsdale course today at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:11:14.000 That is charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:11:16.000 Check it out.
00:11:17.000 Charlie4Hillsdale.com.
00:11:22.000 So, Kurt, I agree.
00:11:23.000 The trend is definitely our friend.
00:11:24.000 What could possibly go wrong?
00:11:25.000 We need to have at least some form of a threat analysis.
00:11:28.000 Or is it just we just basically wait for time to last?
00:11:32.000 Because it seems as if there is a cascading movement against the Democrats building.
00:11:36.000 Look, I think we actively do what we are doing.
00:11:40.000 This fight isn't going to win itself.
00:11:42.000 We need to get out there.
00:11:43.000 We need to knock on doors.
00:11:45.000 We need to talk to people.
00:11:46.000 We need to communicate.
00:11:47.000 There's a lot of money pouring in to allow reaching the undecided voters.
00:11:52.000 That's good.
00:11:54.000 We need to keep pounding away on the set of issues: crime, inflation, the border, bizarre trans stuff.
00:12:04.000 These are winning issues.
00:12:05.000 People are not in on that.
00:12:07.000 And I think this election, we're going to look back on, and there are going to be some important trends here that we saw.
00:12:12.000 I keep saying the most important development in American politics since the election of Donald Trump is the move of Hispanic Americans towards the Republican Party.
00:12:22.000 This is huge.
00:12:23.000 The Democrats bet everything they put all their chips on having Hispanics as an obedient serf class that would obey the commands of their liberal white overlords.
00:12:40.000 Apparently, none of them have married a Hispanic woman.
00:12:42.000 Let me tell you.
00:12:45.000 This is a huge, huge deal.
00:12:49.000 And I am so excited that we've earned the trust of these faith flag and family folk who want nothing more than to work hard and succeed in America and don't expect to be handed anything and don't want to be handed anything and don't want to be used or have their kids used as some bizarre social experiment.
00:13:08.000 So I'm very, very excited, not just about this year, but about the future going forward and the new coalition that we're forming.
00:13:19.000 It's really remarkable.
00:13:20.000 It's going to be white liberal college-educated women against the world, is what it's going to be.
00:13:25.000 Yes.
00:13:26.000 That's the way it is.
00:13:27.000 And I was with several of them last night in South Bay Los Angeles.
00:13:32.000 You know that.
00:13:33.000 I know it very well.
00:13:34.000 And they were just going off on their own alleged class.
00:13:37.000 What do you say?
00:13:38.000 I'm just curious.
00:13:40.000 I don't spend time with awful, but tell me about them, which is a white liberal, female liberal.
00:13:45.000 So tell me, what do you mean their class?
00:13:49.000 Well, look, I mean, first of all, a lot of what's going on is class.
00:13:54.000 And look, you and I are not Marxists, but it is very useful to analyze this as a class then.
00:14:00.000 No, I totally agree.
00:14:01.000 That's exactly a lot of these women are college educated.
00:14:04.000 They are affluent and they are a cohesive group.
00:14:11.000 I mean, they're obviously dissenters.
00:14:12.000 I'm married to one.
00:14:13.000 I was around a bunch of them yesterday, but a lot of them really look down on other people, not necessarily because of race or gender, but because, well, you know, he could never be an HR manager.
00:14:28.000 Maybe he works at a job where he sweats, or, you know, she's, you know, she's not in management.
00:14:35.000 She's just a stay-at-home mom.
00:14:36.000 And it's a very, there's a lot of snobbery involved.
00:14:40.000 A lot of it just kind of bubbling under the surface and often bubbles up.
00:14:44.000 And, you know, if people look down on you, you notice.
00:14:49.000 And I think a lot of the coalescence of the working class in the Republican Party is the realization that a lot of these people who are part of the original Democrat coalition just aren't welcome there because they're not like us.
00:15:06.000 Yeah.
00:15:06.000 And look, I'm not one to cry racist or whatever, but I believe white liberal women are actually racist.
00:15:11.000 And I think they are.
00:15:12.000 And I think the Democrat Party is a way that they have to actually feel better about themselves because they hate black people.
00:15:18.000 Like a lot of white liberal women, they don't want to say look at that.
00:15:22.000 Look what just happened in the LA City Council race.
00:15:25.000 Right.
00:15:25.000 I mean, when they actually get filmed, they detest it.
00:15:25.000 Yes.
00:15:29.000 They're scolds too.
00:15:30.000 That's the best word I could use.
00:15:32.000 They love scolding other people.
00:15:33.000 And I think it's some sort of vehicle where they'd be like, I'm actually not racist.
00:15:36.000 Like, you are.
00:15:38.000 Yeah, they kind of are.
00:15:39.000 And I feel a lot of it, they're living out their own personal psychodramas and dragging us into it.
00:15:46.000 It's just bizarre.
00:15:48.000 You know, look, guys like you, you know, folks like you or me, I've got no idea.
00:15:53.000 No one, no desire to yell and scream and order people around.
00:15:57.000 I was a commander in the army.
00:15:58.000 I didn't even like doing it when I was the army, you know?
00:16:03.000 But these people get off on it.
00:16:05.000 They get off on exercising power over others.
00:16:07.000 Yes, I agree.
00:16:08.000 Which indicates to me some sort of mental, you know, unballot.
00:16:13.000 Don't work on by hassling me.
00:16:15.000 Yeah, mental unhappiness.
00:16:16.000 When I go to these campuses, the one group that I have the most difficulty turning is the young women, Hispanics, blacks, Asians, Indians, all open-minded over a period of time.
00:16:27.000 It is the white liberal women that are just so broken.
00:16:34.000 And I have a lot of theories as to that.
00:16:36.000 And I think college has played a big role in that.
00:16:38.000 That's a whole but I think that the coming divide is going to be white liberal women against the world and we're going to win everything.
00:16:45.000 And I don't think it'll end very well for them.
00:16:51.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:16:52.000 The southern border is wide open, and we have to tell the world about it.
00:16:56.000 Our team at Turning Point USA has been working over the last year to have a one-of-a-kind documentary all about the drugs, the guns, the crime, the criminals that are flowing across the southern border.
00:17:06.000 Our team at Turning Point USA has been working so hard on this through amazing frontline footage that shows the border patrol agents, shows people crossing the border, the illegal drug trade, the economic and societal fallout that illegal immigration has on the United States.
00:17:21.000 Every single state is a border state.
00:17:24.000 And we here being headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, want the rest of the country, want you all across America to see what we are living through in Arizona.
00:17:32.000 It's a one-of-a-kind docuseries available exclusively on salemnow.com.
00:17:37.000 That is salemnow.com.
00:17:39.000 You guys will see the poorest southern border wide open and what we can do to solve it.
00:17:44.000 If you want to learn about the border, this is your opportunity.
00:17:47.000 Brought to you by Turning Point USA, available at salemnow.com.
00:17:53.000 Joining us right now is Marjorie Taylor Green.
00:17:55.000 She's a fighter.
00:17:57.000 Congresswoman Green, how are you doing?
00:17:58.000 Welcome back to the program.
00:18:00.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:18:01.000 I'm doing well.
00:18:02.000 How are you?
00:18:03.000 Doing great.
00:18:03.000 Really good debate the other night.
00:18:05.000 Was that your local congressional debate?
00:18:07.000 What was that all about?
00:18:08.000 Yes, it was.
00:18:09.000 That was my congressional debate for my district, Georgia's 14th district.
00:18:14.000 And Charlie, I have to tell you the craziest thing.
00:18:16.000 Here in Georgia, our debates are held in the city of Atlanta at the Atlanta Press Club.
00:18:22.000 And I asked them last night, I said, next year when we do this, you guys need to come out to my district and allow my constituents to sit in with an audience.
00:18:33.000 They don't do that here in Georgia.
00:18:35.000 We go to the Georgia Public Broadcasting Studio and the Atlanta Press Club host all the debates there in downtown Atlanta.
00:18:43.000 But I think it should be in the district.
00:18:45.000 Yeah, so I debated Marcus Flowers, the Democrat candidate running against me that cannot win, by the way, because our district is so red.
00:18:54.000 And also because my constituents support me, which I'm so grateful for.
00:18:59.000 But Marcus Flower is such a grifter.
00:19:02.000 It's absolutely unreal.
00:19:03.000 He has raised millions of dollars on basically an I HAMTG campaign.
00:19:10.000 You know, of course, from mostly California Democrats and New York Democrats.
00:19:14.000 So we had our debate and I think I did pretty well.
00:19:18.000 Well, I think you did great.
00:19:19.000 And I think that them attacking you and actually putting you into a race, I don't think it's competitive, is actually really stupid for them.
00:19:27.000 And it's stupid because now you're campaigning, you're running ads, you're going to drive turnout, which will actually help Herschel in an indirect way.
00:19:35.000 And so, you know, you having a race.
00:19:39.000 I mean, what is the composition of your district, Trump plus what?
00:19:44.000 Well, we're approximately 68% Republican.
00:19:47.000 You're going to be fine.
00:19:49.000 I think you're going to be fine.
00:19:50.000 Yeah.
00:19:50.000 Yes.
00:19:52.000 Yeah.
00:19:53.000 I think it's going to drive some turnout for Herschel.
00:19:56.000 And we're going to talk about Herschel in just a second.
00:19:57.000 That's important.
00:19:58.000 You know what, though?
00:19:59.000 I didn't have to debate him because I have such a solid lead, but I chose to debate him.
00:20:05.000 A lot of people won't debate when they're sure they're going to win, but I chose to debate him because I wanted to debate the Democrat policies because they've been so destructive and they're so horrible.
00:20:17.000 And everyone's lives are turned upside down right now.
00:20:20.000 So I chose to debate.
00:20:21.000 Other people set out their debates, but I think it's important for us to show up just because we need to.
00:20:28.000 We need to defend our policies and explain what we're going to do when Republicans take back the house.
00:20:33.000 Yeah, that's well said.
00:20:35.000 Let's play a piece of tape here from your debate.
00:20:37.000 Play cut one.
00:20:39.000 Democrat Party.
00:20:39.000 The Democrat Party is the party of child abuse.
00:20:42.000 It's the party that represents grooming children and sexualizing them in school, teaching anti-white racism in the terms of CRT education and genital mutilation of kids, kids that can't even get a driver's license, can't get a tattoo and cannot vote.
00:20:57.000 Elaborate from there.
00:20:58.000 Well said, anti-white racism.
00:21:00.000 What do you mean by that?
00:21:01.000 Well, what I'm talking about is it's the biggest trend coming from Democrats.
00:21:06.000 If you're white, then you're obviously the worst person in the country, especially if you're a Trump Republican, if you're America first, if you care about our country and not the rest of the world, if you want to defend our borders and you're a white person, they basically call you a racist.
00:21:23.000 And that is completely wrong.
00:21:25.000 You know, I recently spoke at a Trump rally and I said that over 5 million illegal aliens have invaded our country.
00:21:34.000 And I said that they're replacing our jobs.
00:21:36.000 They're replacing our kids in schools and their culture is replacing ours.
00:21:42.000 And I was attacked for saying that, but it's not wrong.
00:21:45.000 But the Democrat Party is the party promoting anti-white racism and we see it everywhere.
00:21:51.000 Charlie, I'll say something.
00:21:53.000 If you're a white male, you are last on the list in every single way for job promotions, to be accepted into college, to be chosen in any way.
00:22:04.000 You are last on the list, and that's completely wrong.
00:22:07.000 And I'll call out racism everywhere I see it.
00:22:09.000 And this anti-white racism is growing and it's dangerous.
00:22:13.000 It's very, very dangerous.
00:22:15.000 Stacey Abrams just tweeted out a very racist Twitter thread yesterday talking about just more anti-white racism and talking about how she wants to only promote black communities here in Georgia, but yet she wants to be governor of Georgia.
00:22:31.000 I'm sorry, if you're governor, you represent everyone in our state.
00:22:35.000 And this is the sentiment that's coming from Democrats that is so very wrong is this anti-white racism.
00:22:41.000 You know, being American, we're all equal and we need to put aside all of this identity, political identity politics and racist name calling.
00:22:53.000 We just need to all decide that we're all equal and stick with it.
00:22:56.000 But that's not who the Democrats are.
00:22:58.000 They are truly, truly the party of racism and it's against white people.
00:23:04.000 I think that's right.
00:23:05.000 And to say that out loud, people get very skittish.
00:23:07.000 It's just the way it works.
00:23:09.000 And it's too bad we should reject racism in all of its forms and fashion and its evil manifestations.
00:23:15.000 So I want to ask you about Herschel Walker.
00:23:17.000 We're all in for Herschel.
00:23:18.000 I think Herschel is a great guy, and I think he's being slandered and lied about.
00:23:22.000 Herschel had a great debate against Raphael Warnock, and Donald Trump is 100% behind Herschel Walker.
00:23:29.000 Tell us about Herschel.
00:23:30.000 Tell us about it, because we really need you to drive real turnout for Herschel.
00:23:33.000 We need the MAGA America First Base to turn out for Herschel.
00:23:37.000 Tell us about it.
00:23:38.000 Well, I feel very confident in rural Georgia turning out for Herschel Walker.
00:23:43.000 That's my district, Charlie.
00:23:44.000 We're a rural district, manufacturing district, very similar to the parts of Georgia where Herschel Walker came from, where he grew up.
00:23:52.000 Very similar and similar in our values, similar in our Christian faith, similar in our small towns and communities.
00:24:00.000 We are supporting Herschel Walker because we want to defeat Raphael Warnock.
00:24:05.000 And I think Herschel Walker did such a good job at the debate.
00:24:08.000 I was so happy that the rest of the country finally got to see the Herschel Walker that I know, the Herschel Walker that most of us in Georgia know that have heard him speak before.
00:24:18.000 He did such a good job.
00:24:20.000 And I think he put a lot of the criticism to bed.
00:24:24.000 And I just, I truly feel like Herschel's going to win here in Georgia.
00:24:28.000 And we're going to defeat Raphael Warnock, who calls himself a Christian, calls himself a pastor, but preaches abortion from the pulpit.
00:24:37.000 And it's such an abomination.
00:24:40.000 It's completely wrong.
00:24:41.000 It's evil.
00:24:42.000 And I hate to say this.
00:24:43.000 It really pains me.
00:24:44.000 But in the collapse of the Stacey Abrams campaign and Kemp, who's going to probably win by a lot, actually helps Herschel a lot.
00:24:53.000 The widening gap, again, I am no Kemp fan, and I do think you should vote for Kemp over Stacey Abrams just because of how awful Abrams is.
00:25:00.000 But I'm not a fan of Brian Kemp.
00:25:01.000 I've made that very clear and that hasn't changed.
00:25:03.000 But it's a lesser of two evils.
00:25:05.000 But don't you agree?
00:25:06.000 If Kemp really runs up the score, there's only going to be so many Kemp Warnock voters, right?
00:25:11.000 There's not going to be, it's just, that will cap at maybe 5%, 6%.
00:25:15.000 At some point, Herschel's going to benefit from a growing, cascading red wave.
00:25:19.000 Is that right?
00:25:20.000 I believe so, but you know, we can't just, we can't just think it's going to happen.
00:25:26.000 Like we have to turn out.
00:25:28.000 And so everywhere I go and speak in my district and anywhere in Georgia, I say the race is not over until November 9th.
00:25:36.000 We have to make sure that we turn out at the polls.
00:25:38.000 And early voting started today, Charlie.
00:25:41.000 Early voting started today here in Georgia.
00:25:43.000 And so I'm encouraging everyone to get out and go vote now, get it done this week.
00:25:48.000 Yeah, that's interesting.
00:25:49.000 Okay, so tell us why, because some of our audience doesn't agree with that.
00:25:52.000 They say, show up on Election Day.
00:25:55.000 Sorry to interrupt you, but tell us why.
00:25:58.000 Because I just want everyone to vote.
00:26:00.000 And you can vote in person starting today.
00:26:03.000 Early voting, you can vote in person.
00:26:05.000 I think in-person voting is the best.
00:26:08.000 I'm not a big fan of the absentee ballots, but you know what?
00:26:11.000 If that's the only way some people can vote, I want them to vote.
00:26:14.000 And I'm trying to tell every single person that voting is the most important thing that we can do going into November 8th.
00:26:22.000 And if you are a day of Election Day voter, I love it.
00:26:27.000 I support that too.
00:26:29.000 I'm just supporting everyone voting, period.
00:26:31.000 Well, no, I'm right there with you.
00:26:33.000 We did a whole hour on this, and I have to say, our audience was very receptive of it.
00:26:36.000 We had a couple cantankerous people emailing us.
00:26:39.000 But again, I'm an election day guy.
00:26:40.000 I'm going to wait in line.
00:26:41.000 I'll wait an hour.
00:26:42.000 I'll wait two hours.
00:26:43.000 But, you know, if you're just, if you have a, you know, if you have a job, you have a big family, it's better to vote in person.
00:26:50.000 But what you're saying is don't just throw a ballot into the mail, right?
00:26:55.000 If you're going to vote early, go vote early in person.
00:26:57.000 Is that correct?
00:26:59.000 Yes, absolutely.
00:27:01.000 If you, if you have a busy schedule, you know, not everyone can wait hours in line.
00:27:05.000 Some people have kids and they're just not able to do it.
00:27:08.000 Some people have other commitments possibly that day.
00:27:11.000 So early voting is great because it's available for several weeks leading into November 8th.
00:27:16.000 And so I just encourage people to vote whenever they can and just get the job done.
00:27:21.000 That's our responsibility.
00:27:23.000 Go and vote and get the job done.
00:27:25.000 It's so important, especially here in Georgia, that it is night and day difference between Stacey Abrams and her communist policies versus Governor Kemp and his policies.
00:27:36.000 And I'm always grateful to Governor Kemp because he did keep our state open, Charlie.
00:27:41.000 And that can't be said enough.
00:27:44.000 It was so important for us here in Georgia, especially me being a business owner and knowing some.
00:27:49.000 No, no, no, I'm not a Kemp guy.
00:27:50.000 Kemp pissed me off.
00:27:51.000 Excuse my language.
00:27:52.000 He's not a good person, but he's better than Stacey Abrams.
00:27:54.000 But I appreciate the sentiment.
00:27:56.000 I do think you should vote for Kemp, but he's not a good person.
00:27:59.000 I'm going to play another piece of tape here.
00:28:01.000 Let's play CUT 22.
00:28:03.000 First and foremost, I swore an oath to the Constitution, and I represent the citizens of the United States of America, not DACA recipients.
00:28:11.000 And I.
00:28:12.000 Oh, we lost the tape.
00:28:14.000 Anyway, it goes on to say that Joe Biden is the best business partner the Mexican drug cartels ever had.
00:28:20.000 Tell us about it.
00:28:21.000 Well, Joe Biden is the best business partner the Mexican cartels have ever had.
00:28:25.000 He is enabling them and helping them smuggle drugs into our country.
00:28:31.000 Also, human trafficking is who even knows the numbers.
00:28:35.000 We don't know the numbers.
00:28:36.000 But with fentanyl killing 300 people a day, that's unreal.
00:28:41.000 It's the number one cause of death for young people ages 18 to 45.
00:28:45.000 Charlie, Joe Biden is helping the Mexican cartels do their business.
00:28:50.000 And they, I believe this year, it's said to be that they made around something like $13 billion, $13 billion.
00:28:58.000 And that's what Joe Biden is doing.
00:29:00.000 You know, it's really interesting.
00:29:01.000 Joe Biden loves to do business in foreign countries, and yet he hasn't been to the border at all.
00:29:07.000 And he's the president of the United States of America.
00:29:11.000 What an outrage.
00:29:12.000 And the guy asked me, that was Josh Rowe.
00:29:15.000 He asked me the question about DACA recipients in my district.
00:29:19.000 And he named one particular city, Dalton, which is in Whitfield County, where we have most of the largest carpet and flooring manufacturers in the world are located there.
00:29:31.000 And he was trying to tell me that many of the employees at these big manufacturing companies are DACA recipients.
00:29:39.000 And he was saying that if we repeal DACA and deport these people, that these companies would go out of business.
00:29:46.000 That's what he was trying to tell me, that they would go out of business and not have workers anymore.
00:29:49.000 And I completely disagreed with him.
00:29:51.000 And I started off by telling him, you know, I swore an oath to the Constitution and I serve the citizens of our country, not DACA recipients or illegal aliens.
00:30:01.000 Exactly right.
00:30:02.000 Yes, of course.
00:30:03.000 Yes.
00:30:04.000 And why are we deindustrializing ourselves to foreign labor?
00:30:07.000 That's not who you swore an oath to.
00:30:09.000 You have an oath to American citizens in your district.
00:30:12.000 I would imagine that a popular position, right?
00:30:16.000 Absolutely.
00:30:16.000 And Charlie, I went on to explain, you know, we have trade schools in my district.
00:30:21.000 You know, there's so many kids that are going off and taking on major loans, going to college, wasting four or more years of their life to get a useless degree from colleges and universities that are major profit centers that also receive federal funds that are taxpayer dollars.
00:30:39.000 And these kids graduate from college.
00:30:40.000 I'm sorry, young adults graduate from college with a useless degree and they can get a job making $40,000 a year.
00:30:46.000 But yet trade schools, I'll give you an example.
00:30:49.000 Southeastern Lineman School in Dade County is one of the greatest schools.
00:30:53.000 I love it.
00:30:54.000 They train kids within nine, either nine weeks or 16 weeks.
00:30:59.000 Once they finish up, they are a certified electrician.
00:31:02.000 They are a certified commercial truck driver.
00:31:04.000 They walk out of that school with multiple job opportunities, starting around $80,000 a year.
00:31:11.000 And linemen working overtime, like the great linemen that just helped out in Florida after the terrible hurricane that just recently took so many lives and caused so much devastation, working overtime in emergency situations like that, they make over $100,000 a year.
00:31:27.000 Think about that.
00:31:29.000 That is a six-figure salary with nine or 16 weeks of education.
00:31:34.000 Trade schools are wonderful.
00:31:36.000 So what I answered in my question was, is no, we are not going to lose all these workers if DACA is repealed.
00:31:43.000 These companies are not going to go out of business because we have to do a better job with our policies, Charlie, so that young people after high school enter into job training and they get jobs instead of going to woke universities where their mind and souls get completely ruined.
00:32:01.000 And so that's where my heart is at, Charlie.
00:32:03.000 You know, my kids are age 19, 23, and 24.
00:32:08.000 And it's that generation. that I really care about.
00:32:11.000 And they're being robbed of opportunities and being sold lies, basically, saying, here's how you be successful is you have to go to college and you have to get this four-year degree from some expensive university that you finish up with massive student loans.
00:32:27.000 That is the wrong thing to tell our kids and how to start their adult lives.
00:32:31.000 And I'm completely against it.
00:32:33.000 But I love the trade schools and working is one of the greatest things you can do, not partying away your late teens, early 20s.
00:32:42.000 Really quick, like 10 seconds.
00:32:44.000 The press secretary said Donald Trump's an anti-Semite.
00:32:46.000 Your take?
00:32:47.000 15 seconds.
00:32:48.000 You know who's the anti-Semites?
00:32:50.000 The Democrat Party.
00:32:52.000 I mean, honestly, look at that.
00:32:54.000 They have called us Nazis.
00:32:55.000 They've called him Hitler.
00:32:56.000 And they have members of Congress that I serve with that support Hamas attacking Israel.
00:33:02.000 And they support all these policies that are just bad for everyone.
00:33:05.000 So they need to stop their name calling.
00:33:08.000 Marjorie Taylor Greene, thank you so much.
00:33:10.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:12.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:15.000 Thank you so much for listening.
00:33:16.000 God bless.
