00:01:12.000We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:02:10.000In fact, this is one of the great things that Trump was able to teach Republicans that we're going to play offense, that we are going to make you respond to us.
00:02:18.000In fact, it's one of Saul Linsky's rules for radicals: keep the pressure on, and also making the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
00:02:28.000In the last couple of days, we have seen what it's like when conservatives play offense and set the terms of the engagement to our own liking, configure them to be able to fit our desired policy objectives and goals.
00:02:49.000Now, some people are attacking what Governor DeSantis is doing and what Governor Abbott is doing as shipping economic tourists that illegally break into our country as a PR stunt.
00:04:03.000And what Governor Abbott and Governor DeSantis have done over the last couple of days is they have completely changed the discussion on the illegal entry of people into our country, which are not immigrants, by the way.
00:05:26.000But tactically and strategically, that's a foolish argument.
00:05:28.000Because what it does do is it moves the Overton window for the 330 million person population to realize we have a border crisis.
00:05:39.000It doesn't literally solve any crisis, but it does help move the ability for us to argue and make broader, convincing, and clear points to get the rest of the country on board for what we have been saying.
00:05:56.000And DeSantis and Abbott, to their credit, decided the best way that we can get people to care about the border is to bring the crisis to their doorstep.
00:06:08.000Even better, what is the only thing better than bringing the crisis to the Democrats' doorstep?
00:06:15.000Bring the crisis to the Democrat donors' doorstep.
00:07:31.000Secondly, you don't exist in the meme universe.
00:07:35.000One of the great memes I've ever seen is this vomit-inducing sign that I'm sure all of you see in upper-middle-class white suburban society.
00:07:42.000They're all throughout the suburbs of Chicago.
00:07:44.000They're these black signs with this rainbow lettering, this house believes love is love and black lives matter and trans people are people and there are no borders.
00:08:01.000And basically when you see one of those things, you know that there is probably a dysfunctional marriage, a godless home, and some very miserable people there that are trying to find meaning.
00:08:10.000This sign where they say, I'm such a good person.
00:08:13.000And you could just see that they're switching out those signs for now a no trespassing sign.
00:08:18.000It's one of the great memes I've ever seen.
00:08:20.000And so to the brilliance of Ron DeSantis, that's it.
00:08:46.000And of course, the argument that people are saying, well, Charlie, it only further moves people into the interior of the United States.
00:08:52.000Of course, but you're talking about 50 or a couple hundred people that are proving a bigger point.
00:08:56.000And instead of Martha's Vineyard bringing out the Grand Marshal of their all-white parade and welcoming the now new, diverse community, you are seeing leaders in Martha's Vineyard say, we got to get them off the island.
00:09:53.000Too often we find ourselves arguing about whether or not America is great or not, or whether we should be ashamed or whether we should love America.
00:10:02.000For too many years, too many of our schools have been neglecting to teach young people about our great heritage of liberty, presenting them instead a dishonest narrative of America as a fundamentally unjust or racist country.
00:10:13.000Hillsdale College is weighing in for America, the wonderful Hillsdale College, by offering a free online course, such as The Great American Story, A Land of Hope, Constitution 101, The Meaning of History of the Constitution.
00:10:25.000As we get closer to Constitution Day, September 17th, I encourage all of you to enroll in one of these wonderful free courses from Hillsdale.
00:10:32.000And even better, encourage your friends and family to sign up too.
00:10:35.000Begin your Hillsdale course today at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:10:45.000I love this on so many different levels.
00:10:48.000You think the Republican Party five years ago would have been shipping economic tourists illegally entering our country to Martha's Vineyard?
00:10:58.000No, this is forced by the hand of a new right philosophy that is promising, that is based in principle, that is willing to play offense against the left.
00:11:08.000How often are we always playing defense against them?
00:11:14.000I got in a debate with somebody texting this morning, some snobbish Republican consultant, and he knows who he is if he's watching, doubt he is.
00:11:28.000First of all, no better than the Democrats?
00:11:30.000They're the ones that are illegally flying illegals in the middle of the night on military airplanes, and they have no idea where they're going.
00:11:39.000We're simply sending them to Martha's Vineyard.
00:11:41.000Lucky they should be makes us no better than them.
00:11:44.000Secondly, what time do you think it is?
00:11:47.000Do you think this is the time where we have to say, well, it's no better than them?
00:11:52.000The border crisis is now becoming nationalized.
00:11:56.000That is what DeSantis and Abbott have done.
00:11:59.000Basically, the argument that DeSantis and Abbott are making, which is a brilliant argument, and I think they could do an even better job of articulating when they get challenged by the media on this is: hold on a second.
00:12:08.000If the federal government is tasked with securing the southern border and they're not doing their job, then it's about time that every nation, every state in our country, no matter how remote, Martha's Vineyard, feels the pain and the suffering of what a border town would be.
00:12:25.000It is not equitable or fair to say that 5,000 people crossing the southern border illegally should have to, only Texas and Arizona should have to pay the price for that because Mayorkis, who's a traitor to the country, abdicated his role and his responsibility to not secure the southern border.
00:12:46.000Remember when Mass, so this is what it's so amazing.
00:12:49.000Remember when Joe Biden started to fly people across the country in the middle of the night?
00:13:36.000Secondly, we're in a narrative war right now.
00:13:41.000We are in the midst of an all-out struggle for our country.
00:13:47.000And somehow, Massachusetts, because of their geographic proximity, can just wash their hands of the southern border crisis and then send their representatives to Washington, D.C., where they send that, I think his name's Marky and Warren, to D.C. and they continually vote for open borders.
00:14:05.000Massachusetts is able to vote for open borders because they're not a border state.
00:14:11.000They have no compassion or understanding for the drugs, the sex crimes, the child sex trafficking, because it doesn't hit home.
00:14:19.000In the halls of Harvard or Boston College, in their mostly white communities, they're able to scream from the rooftops that diversity is our strength, that love is love.
00:14:33.000But the moment that their ideology actually no longer exists as an abstraction and becomes a harsh reality, they go full fascist.
00:14:44.000I mean, they go sword-waving fascist at Martha's Vineyard.
00:14:59.000Whoever wins the argument can move the Overton window, which is a spectrum of which ideas exist on, going from ideas that are unacceptable to popular to eventually policy.
00:15:12.000And we're always operating on the Overton window in some way or some sense.
00:15:16.000In fact, I have a plan in the next year or two, if someone doesn't do it before me, to talk about how the Overton window, in my opinion, is the most operative and important thing that people can understand that dictates all policy, all decisions.
00:15:32.000Went from loving the police within a matter of weeks, burning down our country in the summer of 2020 and calling for defund police because of one instance that was politicized.
00:16:27.000You'll save $250 off a three-month emergency food kit from MyPatriot Supply, the nation's largest preparedness company.
00:16:35.000They want to make it as affordable as possible for Americans to prepare for what's coming.
00:16:40.000So they're knocking $250 off the price of this three-month kit, which provides delicious, easy-to-make meals you'll be glad you'll have when grocery store shelves are suddenly empty, which seems like it's going to happen sometime soon.
00:16:53.000At $250 off, this is the lowest price they've offered since 2019, and it might not be offered again.
00:17:25.000Charlie, while busing or flying illegals to Martha's Vineyard and other Democrats might seem like a brilliant PR move, why don't we just use the state's National Guard to repel illegal invaders in the first place?
00:17:37.000This is, though, it's a huge step forward, I have to say, when dealing with Republicans that have ignored the border completely and totally.
00:17:46.000And it does nationalize the issue and it exposes hypocrisy.
00:17:53.000We're going to play that tape in this segment, where the next step for border governors should be not to fly them to Martha's Vineyard, but fly them back to Mexico City.
00:18:06.000Okay, let's get to some tape here because there's so much delicious tape to go into over this, which again, PR wins matter.
00:18:13.000That's where they try to, people discount it.
00:18:15.000Oh, this seems like a seamless political stunt.
00:18:18.000I mean, how often have Democrats been able to use PR campaigns, Green New Deal, climate change, the world is burning, kids in cages, Russia, Russia, Russia?
00:18:28.000They use PR to dictate policy and they're really good at it.
00:18:33.000The winners of a PR war are able to control a country, control policy debates.
00:18:45.000And instead of them talking about Lindsey Graham's abortion bill all day long, which we've gone into great detail about why that was a sabotage campaign by Lindsey Graham, now we're talking about immigration.
00:19:07.000It's because immigration, inflation, and crime are becoming top-tier issues and Democrats lose on them.
00:19:13.000Abbott and DeSantis is forcing the narrative to talk about how Majorkis and Joe Biden and Mark Kelly and Raphael Warnock and God forbid John Fetterman and that other weirdo running in Wisconsin, Mandela Barnes, how they would keep the border wide open or they already have the border wide open.
00:19:40.000She's a homeless shelter coordinator at Martha's Vineyard.
00:19:44.000Now, I don't want to be too stereotyping here, but if there were central casting for Bleeding Heart Liberal, Lisa Bel Castro would be right front and center.
00:19:54.000If I was trying to produce a document, produce a film and say, we need Bleeding Heart Northeast Liberal, Lisa Bel Castro would be right there.
00:20:06.000And because of 50 people, 5-0 in a community that is 86% white and the median income is upwards of $125,000 a year, of which the wealthiest people on the planet have homes, summer homes, or primary residences, 50 people makes Lisa Bel Castro say, at some point, we got to get them off here.
00:20:56.000We're in a housing crisis as we are on this island.
00:20:58.000And so we don't, we can't house everyone here that lives here and works here.
00:21:04.000We don't have housing for 50 more people.
00:21:07.000So these illegal aliens, and by the way, when I say economic tourists, what I mean by that, I didn't mean to try to diminish the term illegal aliens.
00:21:14.000I was pushing back on why they're coming.
00:21:17.000Because far too often people call them refugees.
00:21:19.000No, they're opportunists, is what I'm trying to get at.
00:21:21.000They're not coming because they're fleeing war.
00:21:23.000They're coming because they want more money.
00:22:58.000The migrants, including children who arrived in Martha's Vineyard, were misled about where they were being taken and what would be provided when they arrived is also deeply alarming.
00:23:11.000The children Governor Abbott abandoned in Martha's Vineyard, the children that Governor DeSantis abandoned as well, you know, deserve better.
00:23:24.000They deserve better than being left on the streets of DC or being left in Martha's Vineyard.
00:23:57.000Oh, you mean that blue state governors and blue state mayors that are always lecturing us about how we need to accept more people don't actually want to have more people?
00:24:22.000And now they get this beautiful reward to go to the spacious, sparsely populated, mansion-filled island of Martha's Vineyard.
00:24:35.000I just, I love when she says they deserve so much better.
00:24:40.000And by the way, you could argue that these people were invited by the Biden regime.
00:24:44.000They were let into the country by DHS and by Border Patrol.
00:24:49.000And so Karine Jean-Pierre is lecturing us about as if we did a non-stop flight from the Rio Grande Valley to Pyongyang and dropped them off in North Korea.
00:25:01.000No, they're actually in a place where Barack Hussein Obama vacations.
00:25:05.000I think they're going to be just fine.
00:25:07.000Except for the fact that no one on the island actually wants them there.
00:25:11.000And all this, the state rep islanders were taken by surprise.
00:25:31.000So the local officials in Martha's Vineyard say that they had no warning that there were going to be these planeloads of immigrants arriving, but they described it sort of responding to a natural disaster.
00:27:56.000Do you have a plan to stop this process at the moment or not?
00:28:01.000Yeah, we do have a plan to stop this process.
00:28:04.000And the plan begins with the Biden administration finally securing the border.
00:28:08.000Remember this, it was just two years ago with the fewest border crossings in decades because the Trump administration was enforcing the immigration laws.
00:28:16.000All Biden has to do is replicate what Trump did.
00:28:20.000What Abbott has done, again, I've been very harsh on Abbott on certain things.
00:28:41.000Lindsey Graham wants us to talk about an abortion topic, of which I'm very pro-life, but we all know it's not going to pass in the Senate anytime soon.
00:28:49.000And the Democrats only want to talk about this.
00:28:50.000The Democrats, do you see how uncomfortable, how imprecise they are when they have to talk about this issue?
00:28:59.000Because it is the ultimate issue that is the contradiction of how they live.
00:29:04.000They espouse every day how they want these people, but they really don't.
00:29:39.000The one issue that Hillary Rodham Clinton should probably never weigh in on is human smuggling.
00:29:50.000I mean, I think that there should be a moratorium in the Clinton family of mentioning trafficking human beings or children from one place to the other.
00:30:04.000Hillary Rodham Clinton decides to weigh in on the issue of sending the illegal Venezuelans to Martha's Vineyard as saying that this very well could be literally human trafficking, of which I could only start to say to myself, Lolita express anybody?
00:30:27.000I think, Joe, you have laid out the craziness of the time in which we're living, where some politicians would rather not only have an issue, but exacerbate it to the extent of literally human trafficking, as you said.
00:30:45.000For the Clinton family to talk about literally human trafficking is just about as dense as her going up and saying, you know, I just, I don't know why all these people are committing suicide.
00:31:05.000Cut 120, Domingo Garcia is talking about how Jesus is very angry with Governor Abbott for sending the Venezuelans to the richest island that we have.
00:31:15.000Jesus is very upset with Governor Abbott right now.
00:31:18.000Treating refugees as political piñatas and for a political stunt, dropping them off at 6 o'clock in the morning in front of the vice president's house.
00:31:25.000That's really inhumane and almost human trafficking.
00:31:28.000Is the administration being honest with those migrants about the state of the border being open and enticing them to come in such large numbers?
00:31:36.000I think the reality is we need to have a bipartisan solution to fixing our broken immigration system.
00:31:42.000Just for one side note that I didn't plan on mentioning, next time they try to pass a bipartisan immigration system, just remember this fool.
00:31:49.000Remember who actually wants to pass mass amnesty.
00:32:04.000So putting them outside of Kamala Harris's home, the very generous and benevolent cackling fool of our vice president, that's somehow making Jesus very angry with you.
00:32:23.000What actually happens on the southern border every single day?
00:32:25.000Domingo, why don't you come down to Yuma with me?
00:32:28.000I could show you that the cartels are, you could see it in real time up on a hill right near the Yuma sector, right near the Rio Grande River.
00:32:35.000You could see how the cartels get people out of cars and are directing the steps, directing the places of where to go through certain sector checkpoints.
00:33:22.000Well, you've heard me say throughout this experience since April that we have a national problem that is going to require a national response.
00:33:31.000And we're going to do all that we can in D.C. to make sure that people have a humane welcome and transfer to their final destinations.
00:33:40.000But we see in the months ahead that this problem could worsen.
00:33:55.000Yeah, we're nothing more than a train stop on the long the way, as long as they're not here.
00:34:00.000I mean, come on, we'd have to feed them.
00:34:02.000We'd have to worry about the crime and the overflow.
00:34:05.000What they're trying to say is that we want, this is important, we want the potential votes, which actually is not as clean cut as they would want to think, to flip Texas.
00:34:14.000We don't want them in our neighborhood.
00:34:16.000It's interesting how diversity is everybody's strength till you actually have to go live with the, let's say, the consequences of your abstract bumper sticker that you actually never believed in.
