00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You've got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a turning point USA high school chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.

00:01:17.000 All right.
00:01:17.000 Welcome, everybody.
00:01:19.000 It is September 9th, 2026.
00:01:23.000 And I think as I'm just sitting here getting ready for the show, it strikes me that one year ago today, we were just going about our business the way that we always had.
00:01:36.000 And we had no idea what the next day would entail.
00:01:38.000 And That's a heavy thing to think about, I will tell you.
00:01:41.000 And tomorrow is the one year anniversary of losing Charlie.
00:01:46.000 And so this whole week we have devoted to remembering him and what his legacy means and what that means for the country and so many of the people that loved him and knew him.
00:01:58.000 One of those people is Ana Polina Luna, Congresswoman from Florida, who is part of Charlie's legacy as well.
00:02:04.000 And she joins us right now from Dallas.
00:02:07.000 She's at the RNC there.
00:02:09.000 APL, it's good to see you.
00:02:12.000 You are part of Charlie's legacy as well.
00:02:15.000 And I wanted to start today's show off.
00:02:17.000 You know, you are in Congress.
00:02:19.000 You're doing a great job there.
00:02:20.000 Charlie was so proud of how hard you were working, how you read the whole rule book before you even got in a long book.
00:02:27.000 Yeah.
00:02:27.000 And he was so proud that you did the work to actually understand the way that your new job in Congress at the time worked.
00:02:33.000 And he just, I remember him talking about that a lot.
00:02:35.000 Like, nobody knows what they're doing there, especially as freshmen, but you did.
00:02:38.000 And you've been using the rules.
00:02:40.000 And, anyways, he was proud of you.
00:02:42.000 And I want you to know that.
00:02:43.000 I. Tell us about the first time you met Charlie.
00:02:47.000 The first time I met Charlie was actually at the Young Women's Leadership Summit.
00:02:51.000 And so I didn't know at the time, but he was scouting me for a position as the National Hispanic Outreach Director with Turning Point USA.
00:02:59.000 And I will never forget, I'm like, this is really weird.
00:03:02.000 I just went to the summit and now Jesse Waters is reaching out.
00:03:06.000 And come to find out, it was actually Charlie that had pitched me to Jesse's to basically see if I could do media and really fulfill the role.
00:03:15.000 But literally, the day before I was supposed to leave to go to medical school, Charlie called me and offered me the position.
00:03:21.000 And actually, one of my most fondest memories is actually you're in the videos, also Tyler.
00:03:26.000 But it was the day before the 2022 election.
00:03:29.000 And so Barack Obama had just dropped a robocall on me for my opponent.
00:03:34.000 And Charlie came down into this massive event in Pinellas County and we packed it out.
00:03:38.000 And then the next day I won.
00:03:39.000 So that was kind of the cool turning point alumni to Congress.
00:03:43.000 I remember seeing you and your husband backstage at that event.
00:03:47.000 Yes, that was great.
00:03:50.000 We should remember, I mean, 22 was a tough election year.
00:03:53.000 So he was very proud that he had your win as something to celebrate in what was otherwise a tough year.
00:03:59.000 Yep, that was great.
00:04:00.000 And so, you know, you spent a lot of time with Charlie.
00:04:04.000 It's a lot of those clips that, you know, the people play.
00:04:07.000 I mean, there's that famous one where he's wearing the ice hat and he's, you know, the gal comes up and says, Why are you?
00:04:13.000 Yeah, they're only two genders.
00:04:14.000 Yeah, prove me wrong.
00:04:16.000 So, but you're in a lot of these clips and people say, you know, they say, you know, that's one of the most famous clips when Charlie says, We talk because if we don't, then that's when violence happens.
00:04:27.000 And so I always see you there and I remember you guys were doing tabling.
00:04:30.000 Tell us about your time with Charlie.
00:04:32.000 Well, I remember, I mean, that was one of the first events that I had done with him.
00:04:36.000 And we literally were in Portland, Oregon, in really the belly of the beast.
00:04:40.000 I remember this was during the quote unquote summer of love.
00:04:42.000 So they had all the Antifa riots right in Portland.
00:04:45.000 I was there with him.
00:04:46.000 And I actually remember at that time, I was asking him because, you know, people get pretty upset.
00:04:50.000 And I think actually in that segment, you can see a woman like actually grabs his hat and runs away with it and just like gets really up close and directly engages with him.
00:04:59.000 And I remember asking him, you know, are you at all concerned?
00:05:02.000 Like this is kind of sporty, you know, you're a young kid, but.
00:05:05.000 You know, I just got out of the military, and you know, it was just interesting to kind of see that lens of perspective bring the dialogue to a college campus that really was stifling a lot of the speech that they should be encouraging, right?
00:05:16.000 And so I actually attribute a lot of what Charlie did to really opening up these discussions, especially for conservative and Republican leading students on pretty liberal campuses.
00:05:26.000 And then I think that was also too when Turning Point had the professor watch list.
00:05:30.000 And so it really has evolved.
00:05:32.000 I think Charlie's really vision for what the organization was doing was engaging young people.
00:05:37.000 But you know, I posted this yesterday and that.
00:05:40.000 Charlie, I think 100% was going to run for president.
00:05:43.000 I think he would have been president.
00:05:44.000 And I think that the infrastructure that he built with Turning Point was something that could help continue his legacy of sharing the debate, sharing these ideas.
00:05:53.000 And even if you don't agree, being able to have the respectful conversation, you're seeing that, especially on the left, increasingly dwindling.
00:05:59.000 You're seeing kind of this rise of assassination culture.
00:06:02.000 And between colleagues and conversations in the Hill and in the chamber, even the more moderate Democrats are understanding that.
00:06:11.000 That's not something that is good for anyone, and that they have to deal with this issue within their own party.
00:06:18.000 And so, all I can say is that I know this is obviously, especially for the family and for Erica and for us, a very sad time.
00:06:26.000 But also, too, I choose to focus on a lot of the positive memories that I have with Charlie and some of his wit about him.
00:06:33.000 But I will never forget that time and also, too, how hard he worked to get President Trump reelected.
00:06:39.000 Yeah.
00:06:39.000 And that's really well said.
00:06:41.000 I think that, you know, to Blake's point, we think about Charlie as kind of the serious political activist.
00:06:49.000 And, you know, 2022 was a tough year.
00:06:51.000 It was actually a turning point year because it's when we decided to really put our weight behind the Chase the Vote project and start canvassing ballots and getting people out to the polls ourselves, low propensity people.
00:07:03.000 But he was also so much fun.
00:07:06.000 And that's the part that people don't know.
00:07:08.000 Like his sense of humor was dry, but it would just have you rolling if you were in private with him.
00:07:12.000 Yeah, it was very difficult.
00:07:14.000 Distinct, I will say.
00:07:15.000 Yeah, he had a very unique sense of humor, but it was so Charlie that it would, when he was able to focus and just be with Charlie, you know, when you're with him in that way, it would have you just, you know, curling over because your stomach hurt.
00:07:28.000 It would make you laugh that hard.
00:07:30.000 Do you like the personal side?
00:07:31.000 Two minutes before the break here, what aspects did you witness from Charlie that maybe the world isn't aware of?
00:07:38.000 Well, so Charlie, yes, he was like this larger than life personality, obviously great friend, you know, husband, son, all of those things, but also too, he just really loved.
00:07:48.000 Politics for the sport of it, right?
00:07:50.000 So he genuinely, like when we were having the dragout fight with Speaker then McCarthy for his nomination to be Speaker, I remember Charlie called me.
00:07:59.000 He goes, okay, tell me what's actually happening.
00:08:01.000 Because there was all this noise, especially on various outlets, saying that the 20 of us were being obstructionists and we were preventing the House from moving forward with its business.
00:08:10.000 And we had just gotten this majority.
00:08:12.000 And how could we be such an obstructionist?
00:08:14.000 And then I explained it to him.
00:08:15.000 He goes, okay, I got you.
00:08:16.000 So a lot of times when these things would happen, he would call me directly to really kind of see what was happening.
00:08:21.000 And then he would be calling other people as well to make sure that the advice that he was giving, the messaging that he was sharing, and then also to, I think, the council to the president.
00:08:29.000 Was good sound advice and that it wasn't being skewed in any which way.
00:08:33.000 But I'll never forget, you know, he was down with me and I'll never forget that because that was the year that I won in 2022.
00:08:39.000 And he was kind of almost like giggling backstage because it was such a big event.
00:08:43.000 It was a really big deal for Turning Point, obviously.
00:08:45.000 He also, by the way, worked harder than the party did to get me elected.
00:08:49.000 And so when I did end up winning, it was a big deal.
00:08:52.000 And of course, that night we knew that we were going to win.
00:08:54.000 The energy was there.
00:08:54.000 You could tell just by how much he was hyping up the crowd.
00:08:57.000 Benny was there.
00:08:58.000 But it was a really good, I think, grass.
00:09:00.000 Roots team, and it really took, I think, turning point into from being pushed out by the RNC to then being embraced.
00:09:06.000 That's such a good point.
00:09:07.000 I mean, everything happened so quickly.
00:09:10.000 We launched the Charlie Kirk show in 2019, a nationally syndicated radio show almost barely a year later in October of 2020.
00:09:21.000 Then took to Real America's Voice, it became a TV show in 2022.
00:09:25.000 So everything in Charlie's life was accelerated timelines.
00:09:28.000 And so he starts turning point, and then But in 2022, people forget you were the first alumni to be elected as a sitting member of Congress.
00:09:36.000 And that was a huge, huge breakthrough for the organizations.
00:09:40.000 So let's talk about the state of the movement since we've lost Charlie.
00:09:45.000 I think one of the things that people have really come to appreciate about him was he was the glue that kept so many different parts of the coalition together.
00:09:54.000 When it comes to what you're seeing, I don't know, in D.C. and the craziness up there, Have you felt that loss?
00:10:04.000 And do people talk about it that this now feels different without Charlie?
00:10:09.000 What's the spirit of it?
00:10:11.000 Yeah, so I think Charlie was a coalition builder.
00:10:14.000 And when I think about really how strategic it was for him to be assassinated the way that it was, what I realize is that there's very few people that can kind of go in and out, literally, of the White House or through the halls of Congress and then maintain that genuine passion and association with the grassroots movement.
00:10:35.000 And then be able to do what he was doing specifically with then hosting rallies, going to college campuses, and really understanding how those two are very important pieces alongside the influencers.
00:10:46.000 What I've realized, though, is that there tends to be, and I think it's really ever since his assassination, this doomer perspective.
00:10:55.000 And what I would say is, Charlie, even when we were in some of the darkest times during COVID 19, or really when Biden was weaponizing and they were going after President Trump, and starting really after the 2020 election.
00:11:08.000 Charlie was not the type of person that would just throw in the towel, and he was not a pessimist.
00:11:13.000 He would figure out ways to really fix the problem.
00:11:16.000 And then also, he wasn't someone that would just sit by and complain about it and then not take action.
00:11:21.000 And that's why his organization, that's why his legacy, the amount of people that he recruited, identified, influenced really, you know, whether it was people now in office, whether it was influencers, whether it was media personalities, his legacy is still continuing today.
00:11:37.000 And so, what I would always tell people is, you know, there's a group of people on the internet.
00:11:41.000 It doesn't matter what you do.
00:11:42.000 They're just never going to be happy.
00:11:44.000 And this is not just on the right.
00:11:45.000 It happens on the left as well.
00:11:47.000 And you have to take yourself outside of that and think bigger, right?
00:11:50.000 Think about the influence, what you have the ability to control, and how we can be good stewards of this country.
00:11:56.000 And I think, you know, I'll probably end up coming back and talking about this, but we're seeing a lot happen right now about how, what does the United States look like 10 years from now with the rise of AI?
00:12:06.000 What do we have, you know, to protect?
00:12:09.000 You know, there's privacy concerns.
00:12:10.000 How can Congress affect that?
00:12:12.000 Can Congress affect that?
00:12:13.000 And so I think, you know, as far as legacy is concerned, the one thing Charlie always put first was God, family, and then country.
00:12:20.000 And I think having those principles moving forward, keeping that in perspective and understanding that we need to think bigger than just ourselves and how we can preserve this great republic, I think is something that we should all consider.
00:12:31.000 It's such a good point.
00:12:32.000 Charlie was always a happy warrior.
00:12:34.000 He was always solutions oriented.
00:12:36.000 And when you go online, it's become a repeat theme on this show there's so much doom and gloom.
00:12:41.000 There's so much black pilling.
00:12:43.000 If people are upset about one little thing, Charlie could be upset about different things.
00:12:47.000 He would privately, you know, hand ring and get frustrated about, you know, some politician did X or some leader did Y.
00:12:57.000 And then he would focus in, he would zero in on the solution and how to message through it and how to be a part of the solution.
00:13:03.000 And that is something that was so critical to him.
00:13:06.000 I mean, Blake, you make this point all the time.
00:13:07.000 I should let you chime in here on this.
00:13:09.000 Yes, he was such a.
00:13:12.000 I was talking to Mikey about this that Charlie, the secret to so much of it, why he's such a success, why he was such an icon to so many people, it was so basic that most of us, we can see a problem and then we complain about it on X or complain about it in person or just stew over it.
00:13:28.000 And then they're like, we spotted the problem.
00:13:30.000 Why can't someone solve it?
00:13:31.000 And Charlie's approach to everything was spot problem, ask himself, okay.
00:13:35.000 How is that problem fixed?
00:13:36.000 And then the next key thing, he would then immediately go and try to do something about it.
00:13:42.000 And just that simple extra step of agency, repeated hundreds, thousands of times over his life, turned him into this tremendous figure.
00:13:53.000 And sometimes it was a small thing.
00:13:54.000 How do I make my organization grow?
00:13:56.000 Sometimes it was a big thing.
00:13:57.000 We mentioned 22.
00:13:58.000 Oh, this election was a disappointment.
00:14:00.000 Well, why was it?
00:14:01.000 Oh, we apparently didn't have enough early voting.
00:14:03.000 How do we change that?
00:14:05.000 Oh, I guess I just have to build a giant early voting operation.
00:14:07.000 Someone's got to do it.
00:14:08.000 And we got to get APL in Congress.
00:14:09.000 So let's.
00:14:10.000 Let's go to Florida and do a big rally.
00:14:14.000 100%.
00:14:14.000 And, you know, the one thing that I also remember him talking about a lot is how Turning Point was going to be useful and effective in creating that brick wall right dead center in the middle of the United States to help with, you know, the 2028 election, the elections moving on forward.
00:14:29.000 And I think Charlie's ability to really key into young male voters, especially, was incredibly important.
00:14:34.000 So, look, he left an incredible legacy that some people can't even accomplish in their entire lifetime in very short years.
00:14:42.000 And we have to continue that.
00:14:44.000 And that means finding solutions.
00:14:45.000 That means getting involved.
00:14:47.000 That means helping Turning Point Action, other organizations that are actually boots on the ground.
00:14:52.000 And what I would say is that his organization is still going to go forward.
00:14:55.000 You guys are already doing it currently and identifying and getting good conservative members of Congress elected that really, I think, hold true to what the ideologies Charlie wanted and promoted were.
00:15:06.000 But ultimately, it's everyone's responsibility to continue that legacy.
00:15:10.000 And so I choose to focus on the positive.
00:15:13.000 I hope that and I pray for Erica and the kiddos every single day.
00:15:17.000 But ultimately, it's going to be our responsibility to carry on forward.
00:15:21.000 And I think that you'll see even just today there being a midterm convention kicking off today.
00:15:26.000 I know that Charlie would have been here speaking.
00:15:27.000 I know that he would have been at the White House for the UFC fight.
00:15:30.000 And I know that he would have been, you know, doing everything that he can to ensure that people like Mamdani, something that he predicted years prior with the rise of DSA and socialism on college campuses, he called this literally back in 2018 when people thought it was crazy.
00:15:45.000 I remember the initial catch phase of socialism sucks.
00:15:47.000 That was really Turning Point's main motto.
00:15:50.000 And he identified it early on.
00:15:52.000 So, we have the blueprint.
00:15:53.000 We just need to put it into effect now, what he visioned for this country.
00:15:57.000 Well, I know I speak for a lot of people when I say we're more confident in that because you are in the position you are, APL.
00:16:05.000 You're holding it down.
00:16:06.000 You're always giving a hard time to the people that stand in our way as voters and as the grassroots.
00:16:12.000 And you really have become a voice for the grassroots and the base.
00:16:15.000 And we appreciate you and we appreciate you making time.
00:16:18.000 I know it's a busy schedule there at the RNC.
00:16:20.000 So, thank you for making this a priority, honoring Charlie, remembering Charlie.
00:16:25.000 And you're part of his legacy.
00:16:27.000 And that's a really special thing and a really powerful thing.
00:16:29.000 So, God bless you, APL.
00:16:30.000 Keep up the good work.
00:16:31.000 Thanks, guys.
00:16:35.000 Liens, levies, wage garnishments, bank account seizures those aren't just words.
00:16:40.000 That's the IRS taking what you've earned your paycheck, your savings, your retirement, even your home and it's accelerating.
00:16:46.000 IRS notices and letters are up more than 85% in the last two years.
00:16:50.000 If you or your business owe back taxes or you have unfiled tax returns, do not wait.
00:16:57.000 Call American Tax Group.
00:16:59.000 The nation's leading tax firm at 888 381 3816.
00:17:04.000 Here's what the IRS is counting on that you'll do nothing, that you'll put it off for one more week.
00:17:09.000 But understand, you could wake up tomorrow morning and find your bank account frozen, levied overnight, just like that.
00:17:14.000 Prove them wrong.
00:17:16.000 Fight back because every week you wait, you hand them more leverage.

00:17:45.000 That's America Tax Group dot com Slash Charlie Kirk.
00:17:51.000 Another man that teaches so much about why America is great is Doctor Ben Carson.
00:17:56.000 He joins us now at the American Cornerstone Institute.
00:18:00.000 He founded that and he's a great American.
00:18:02.000 You know him as a great doctor.
00:18:05.000 But also a great political leader and a great speaker.
00:18:08.000 Dr. Carson, it's so good to have you.
00:18:09.000 Thank you for making the time to remember Charlie with us this week.
00:18:12.000 Thank you, Andrew.
00:18:13.000 It's always good to be with you.
00:18:15.000 And thank you for keeping the organization moving forward.
00:18:18.000 We appreciate it.
00:18:19.000 Yeah.
00:18:19.000 Thank you.
00:18:20.000 God bless you.
00:18:20.000 And thank you for always being willing to do your part as well.
00:18:24.000 I mean, people don't understand how much you're doing behind the scenes, and you've got your own podcast, and you're constantly speaking and touring, and you're always willing to help out.
00:18:34.000 And that was something Charlie loved about you.
00:18:36.000 You're always, when we'd call you and say, Dr. Carson, we need you to do this event, we need a favor, you were always like, okay, I'll make a way for it.
00:18:44.000 And that's a tremendous thing.
00:18:45.000 I don't know that people know that about you, how generous and gracious you are with your time, but I hope people appreciate it.
00:18:51.000 Well, I'm gracious and generous with it for good causes.
00:18:55.000 That's for sure.
00:18:56.000 And recognizing the condition that our country is in right now and how important the turning point is to that turnaround, it's Absolutely, something we all should be eager to get involved with.
00:19:11.000 Well, so let's talk about this.
00:19:14.000 We're remembering Charlie.
00:19:15.000 You know, I started the show out by telling Blake that this overwhelming sense came over me right before we went live that it's tough not to think about that on September 9th, 2025, we were living our lives as if, you know, this was just, we're going to continue on.
00:19:31.000 It was just a normal day like any other.
00:19:33.000 And then everything changed on September 10th.
00:19:36.000 And so, you know, you spent so much time with Charlie.
00:19:41.000 What do you want the world to remember?
00:19:43.000 What do you remember when you think about Charlie?
00:19:45.000 Well, I think of somebody who was incredibly intelligent, very knowledgeable.
00:19:52.000 Charlie read several books every week.
00:19:56.000 And I used to really enjoy seeing him spar with people who thought they were intelligent, who thought they were knowledgeable.
00:20:05.000 But he was always gracious.
00:20:07.000 He never put people down in front of their faces or in front of an audience.
00:20:14.000 He was respectful.
00:20:16.000 Even though the questions that he asked them made it quite clear that they didn't know what they were talking about.
00:20:23.000 But he let them do that to themselves.
00:20:25.000 He didn't do it to them.
00:20:27.000 Yeah, he was a Socratic method believer.
00:20:32.000 And he would let other people tie themselves in knots and sort of expose their lack of reasoning by asking repeated questions, right?
00:20:41.000 And he would let them trip themselves up.
00:20:42.000 But yeah, go ahead.
00:20:43.000 And he always, before we went out on stage, he always prayed.
00:20:50.000 and very earnest prayer.
00:20:52.000 He was a true believer and he sought wisdom from God.
00:20:59.000 And that's so unusual, particularly for young people.
00:21:02.000 I think he was a tremendous role model.
00:21:05.000 And you saw the crowds that he drew.
00:21:08.000 Young people were curious about him.
00:21:10.000 They wanted to know why he believed what he believed.
00:21:13.000 And he was having such an impact and he was such an incredible threat to the left and to the leftist agenda.
00:21:23.000 He understood the leftist agenda.
00:21:25.000 Many people don't.
00:21:27.000 And they don't realize that what's happening in our country is a coordinated movement that's been going on for decades.
00:21:36.000 And, you know, I wrote in my latest book, The Perilous Fight, about Congressman Herlong of Florida, who read into the congressional record the 45 goals of communism in America.
00:21:53.000 That was 63 years ago.
00:21:56.000 Charlie understood this.
00:21:57.000 He understood why they were trying to gain control of the school systems, why they were trying to gain control of the teacher unions.
00:22:06.000 Many of the teacher unions throughout our country are Marxist.
00:22:10.000 Why they were trying to gain control of the media, of television, of Hollywood, so they could actually change the culture.
00:22:20.000 And they recognize that there's a method for changing a system like ours, which is the reason that Khrushchev decades ago said that your grandchildren will live under our system and we won't have to go to war to do it because they knew it was possible to infiltrate our society and to attack our faith and our families,
00:22:49.000 which are the foundational building blocks of a great nation that we became.
00:22:55.000 And Charlie fully understood that.
00:22:58.000 I think President Trump understands that.
00:23:01.000 People who understand that become the enemies of those who want to fundamentally change us, they will do anything they possibly can to damage or to get rid of those people.
00:23:11.000 Yeah, I mean, that's why Charlie was so focused on young people.
00:23:16.000 He was able to speak to everybody, but his special mission was for young people, and he always knew that we were one generation away from throwing it all away because it can take centuries to build a country as great as America, but just one sufficiently bad generation can decide to give it up.
00:23:36.000 Give it all away, burn it all down.
00:23:38.000 That's why he warned so much that we had that path, Mangioniism or MAGA.
00:23:44.000 And what he was speaking to is we can either fix our country's problems, and Charlie was a great problem fixer, a great problem spotter, fixer, do the work, or you can decide to just blow everything up and complain.
00:23:57.000 And he was always so frustrated with people on the left or the right whose response to problems was to just scream and say, burn everything down.
00:24:05.000 He was fighting against nihilism and the cynicism that's setting in.
00:24:09.000 Your thoughts, Jim?
00:24:10.000 He also recognized that if we're going to solve these problems, we have to be able to talk to each other.
00:24:18.000 Rather than just demonizing each other, throwing bombs all the time, he wanted to sit down, put the facts on the table, and then discuss them.
00:24:27.000 I think he also recognized that the most radical left-wing person and the most radical right-wing person agree on the vast majority of things.
00:24:39.000 And why do we take that 20% of things that they don't agree on?
00:24:43.000 And make that always the principal thing.
00:24:47.000 He wanted to start, and he frequently started the conversation with leftists by talking about what we agreed with and then move on from there.
00:24:57.000 And that was a very wise strategy.
00:25:01.000 Yeah, I mean, he was absolutely one of the foremost exercisers of the First Amendment, I think, obviously in modern American history, but probably throughout American history.
00:25:13.000 But he was also, as you said earlier, he would pray before he went up.
00:25:17.000 I didn't actually know that.
00:25:18.000 So, I know that we would pray backstage and behind the scenes.
00:25:23.000 I didn't realize he would do that with you before going up on stage.
00:25:26.000 He was also a Christian martyr and a Christian evangelist.
00:25:31.000 Maybe reflect on that too, Dr. Carson.
00:25:33.000 He very much believed in the Bible and every aspect of the Bible, which I thought was fascinating.
00:25:41.000 And the last few years, a lot of emphasis on the Sabbath, why we need a day of rest.
00:25:49.000 why we need a day of reflection, a time to really concentrate on our role with our families, on our relationship with God.
00:25:59.000 And if God created us, he knew we needed that.
00:26:03.000 And, you know, I found that in my own life to be so important.
00:26:08.000 I remember when I was in medical school.
00:26:11.000 And, of course, there are a lot of tests and things that go on, big comprehensive exams.
00:26:18.000 And they would usually be on Monday.
00:26:22.000 I would go to church on the Sabbath.
00:26:25.000 I would go to choir rehearsal on Friday nights when there was a big test coming up on Monday and my classmates said, what are you doing?
00:26:35.000 And I said, I'll be fine.
00:26:38.000 And I always was.
00:26:39.000 I think it was great to be relaxed during the stressful period of the examination and the Sabbath brought that relaxation.
00:26:48.000 So Charlie understood that and he incorporated that into his life.
00:26:55.000 As he did all the other aspects, he didn't pick and choose like so many people who claim to be religious.
00:27:03.000 They pick and choose what they find to be compatible with what they want to do as opposed to what God wants you to do.
00:27:12.000 Dr. Carson, I want to play some clips of you and Charlie at Amfest, SOT 19.
00:27:18.000 It doesn't matter where your ancestors came from.
00:27:21.000 They came from England, they came from France, they came from Africa, they came from Sweden, they came from India.
00:27:28.000 you're better off here than you would be where they came from.
00:27:31.000 And if our country was all that bad, why are all these people trying to get in it?
00:27:36.000 And when they get here, wouldn't they call their relatives and say, don't come here, this is a horrible place?
00:27:41.000 This is not what we're seeing.
00:27:42.000 We're seeing they're still flooding in in record numbers.
00:27:46.000 And that tells you that we have something that is worth fighting for and something that's worth preserving.
00:27:53.000 And that was you.
00:27:54.000 Charlie didn't appear in that frame, but you were seated right next to him having that conversation.
00:27:59.000 The crowd was loving it.
00:28:00.000 I want to keep playing some of these clips of Dr. Carson and Charlie at Amfest.
00:28:06.000 It's just so good.
00:28:07.000 I love seeing these clips with some of our friends together with Charlie.
00:28:11.000 It just, I just think it's powerful.
00:28:13.000 This is Amfest 2023.
00:28:15.000 And really, Dr. Carson's hitting a central note that Charlie often hit, SOT 22.
00:28:20.000 Specifically, the students that are facing opposition on campus.
00:28:24.000 You need to go out and you need to speak up.
00:28:27.000 You need to talk about the things that made us into a great nation.
00:28:31.000 Don't be ashamed.
00:28:32.000 You know, so often people just stand in the corner and stare at their feet and hope no one calls them a nasty name.
00:28:38.000 That won't work anymore because we're on the precipice of what kind of country we're going to be.
00:28:44.000 Are we going to be a country that is up for and by the people or up by and by the government?
00:28:50.000 We have to decide that.
00:28:51.000 You have to be the missionaries.
00:28:53.000 You have to go out there and do this.
00:28:55.000 And if you don't do it, we're going to be lost.
00:28:57.000 So our future is dependent upon each one of you.
00:29:02.000 And everybody has a sphere of influence.
00:29:04.000 Don't think because you're not Charlie Kirk, you don't have a sphere of influence.
00:29:08.000 You do.
00:29:09.000 And it's much bigger than you think it is.
00:29:13.000 Amen.
00:29:14.000 And by the way, if you guys aren't aware, that is Dr. Carson pretty riled up.
00:29:18.000 That's about it.
00:29:21.000 I could tell.
00:29:22.000 I actually could, you know, I know you well enough.
00:29:23.000 That was like, there was a lot of energy in that moment.
00:29:26.000 And when you've gone around and you spoke to a bunch of our campuses and you've interacted with our students, you know, the movement's been a little discombobulated over the last year.
00:29:36.000 I'm sure you've seen it.
00:29:38.000 People are feeling the void of Charlie not being there as this kind of glue figure in the movement.
00:29:44.000 What's your message, Dr. Carson, right now?
00:29:46.000 That was 2023.
00:29:48.000 What is your message to them right now?
00:29:49.000 If they're confused, some of their influencers are praising Vladimir Putin that they follow online.
00:29:57.000 What's your message to them right now?
00:29:58.000 How do you keep clear and steady and centered in this moment?
00:30:03.000 Well, you have to have perspective and know what's going on.
00:30:06.000 My message is learn who we are, learn the history of your country.
00:30:13.000 You'll find that there's nothing to be ashamed of, there's a lot to be proud of.
00:30:17.000 and that we are not each other's enemies and that it's okay to disagree about things.
00:30:23.000 You know, people grow up in different settings, different situations, are exposed to different things and will have different opinions.
00:30:31.000 But don't shut yourself off and say, I can't discuss that.
00:30:37.000 You can discuss it and you can work with other people, working together.
00:30:42.000 You know, one of the interesting things about our country early on, people came here from a lot of different places.
00:30:49.000 In many cases, they didn't speak the same language.
00:30:52.000 You had people in communities of 50 or 100 families, a lot of people speaking this, that, or the other, not understanding each other.
00:31:02.000 And yet, despite that, they grew and they thrived.
00:31:07.000 Why was that?
00:31:08.000 It was because they understood one important thing, the common good.
00:31:14.000 That's a phrase that you see often in our founders, the common good.
00:31:19.000 Not what's good for this group or that group or this neighborhood or that neighborhood, but what's good for all of us.
00:31:26.000 And that unity and that sense of community was a huge factor in the rapid expansion and success of our country.
00:31:37.000 Yeah, I love that.
00:31:38.000 And I think it's true.
00:31:39.000 The shared fabric.
00:31:41.000 And I love how you say that, given your unique perspective as being growing up in a poor, I think you lived just with your mom, right?
00:31:49.000 Single mother household in Detroit, impoverished.
00:31:54.000 You had every reason.
00:31:56.000 To complain, to look at America with scorn, to be one of those people that tried to tear down this country, and yet look at what you've achieved.
00:32:05.000 And so.
00:32:07.000 That was largely because of my mother, who had an even worse situation than I did, growing up in rural Tennessee, dire poverty, bounced from house to house, less than a third grade education, married at age 13, trying to escape.
00:32:22.000 And yet she understood that.
00:32:27.000 The way out was not to sit around and complain about the system or what people were doing or saying.
00:32:34.000 The way out was yourself, that you were the person who had the most to do with what happened to you.
00:32:41.000 And she forced us to read books.
00:32:44.000 I didn't want to read books.
00:32:45.000 I wanted to be play and watch TV like everybody else.
00:32:48.000 But as I started reading those books, particularly about successful people, I began to realize what it requires to be successful.
00:32:58.000 It doesn't require you know, things like your skin color or things that you can't help.
00:33:09.000 It requires things that you are in control of.
00:33:12.000 And I got to the point where if I had five minutes, I was reading a book.
00:33:16.000 I was always reading.
00:33:18.000 It totally expanded my universe.
00:33:21.000 Instead of the streets of Boston or Detroit, now my universe was the whole planet.
00:33:28.000 And it gave me enormous confidence.
00:33:31.000 I went from the bottom of the class to the top of the class and I realized that that wasn't anything that anybody gave to me, but it was taking advantage of opportunities that existed.
00:33:44.000 I could go to the library.
00:33:45.000 We didn't have any money, but the library didn't cost anything unless you turned the book in late.
00:33:51.000 So what a great opportunity that was and what a difference it made.
00:33:56.000 And then, you know, I started learning all kinds of things.
00:33:59.000 I would go down to the Detroit Institute of Arts, which is one of the great art galleries in the world.
00:34:05.000 And roamed through all those different rooms and galleries until I knew all the pictures, who painted them, what period it represented.
00:34:14.000 All those kinds of things I learned on my own.
00:34:17.000 And they went on to pay big dividends later on, including learning classical music because my wife is a classical violinist and we'd have never gotten together had it not been for my knowledge.
00:34:32.000 Dr. Carson, you are an American treasure and your story continues to inspire.
00:34:37.000 It's one of the reasons Charlie loved having you around.
00:34:39.000 You never gave in to any of the noise.
00:34:41.000 You know, if they were hurling insults at Charlie and they were calling him a racist, and you were always like, let me go on stage with you, Charlie, and we'll tell them where to stick it.
00:34:51.000 And I just loved your willingness to always stand shoulder to shoulder with your friends and your allies.
00:34:57.000 And as you said, to be a part of a good cause and to help Charlie supercharge Turning Point at so many different junctures.
00:35:05.000 And so we honor you because you honor Charlie, and we're grateful for your.
00:35:10.000 Your contribution to Charlie's life and his legacy, and it truly was very important, Dr. Carson.
00:35:15.000 Well, thank you for what you continue to do.
00:35:17.000 You know, we're all part of a march, an army here.
00:35:22.000 You know, Benjamin Franklin, when he came out of that Constitution Hall, said when he was asked, what do we have here, a monarchy or a republic?
00:35:31.000 He said, a republic if you can keep it.
00:35:34.000 In the 250 years, I don't think we have faced a challenge as severe as the one that we're facing right now.
00:35:42.000 And we all have to recognize that we are in a war for the soul of this country.
00:35:47.000 This is not a time to shrink back because if we do, the other side will fill in the gap.
00:35:53.000 Amen.
00:35:54.000 Dr. Ben Carson, great American patriot, one of our heroes around here.
00:35:59.000 God bless him.
00:36:03.000 Midterm elections are coming up and control of Congress is on the line.
00:36:07.000 If there's one thing financial markets hate, it's uncertainty.
00:36:10.000 And uncertainty is exactly what the next few months are going to bring.
00:36:14.000 In 2024, if it taught us anything, it's that uncertainty breeds volatility.
00:36:19.000 Between now and November could be one of the most volatile stretches for the stock market and the economy.
00:36:25.000 So you owe it to yourself to have a plan.
00:36:27.000 Here's the good part.

00:37:38.000 at the twilight's last gleaming, whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight o'er the ramparts the watch were so gallantly streaming.
00:37:57.000 Here's the hard part.
00:37:59.000 And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air.
00:38:07.000 Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
00:38:18.000 What a moment.
00:38:19.000 What a moment with Charlie Kirk and Rob Schneider singing the national anthem with a bunch of students.
00:38:25.000 It's one of the clips that will just bring a smile to your face.
00:38:28.000 Rob Schneider joins us now.
00:38:30.000 He's a total all star for making time.
00:38:33.000 He is literally on set of a movie right now.
00:38:37.000 And he He carved this out.
00:38:40.000 God bless you, Rob Schneider.
00:38:42.000 It looks great, man.
00:38:43.000 You know, I saw him the other day.
00:38:45.000 He did not have that hairdo.
00:38:46.000 Yes.
00:38:46.000 Explain yourself.
00:38:48.000 We're making Grownups Three right now with Adam Sandler.
00:38:51.000 It's his birthday, Adam's birthday.
00:38:54.000 Thank you.
00:38:55.000 Tell him happy birthday, friends.
00:38:58.000 I will.
00:38:58.000 Thank you, Andrew.
00:38:59.000 And this was how I looked when I met him.
00:39:02.000 So this is what he makes, making us all look like.
00:39:04.000 It's his way of not trying to age, I guess.
00:39:08.000 So this was actually a hairstyle.
00:39:10.000 That you were rocking in the real world at one point in time?
00:39:14.000 I think five decades ago, yeah.
00:39:15.000 Well, we met in 1988, and it was a thinner version of this.
00:39:20.000 I think it looks great.
00:39:22.000 I think it looks great.
00:39:24.000 Rob, you had some really iconic moments with Charlie on campus, at our events.
00:39:30.000 You were one of the few guys in Hollywood that were willing to associate publicly with Charlie.
00:39:35.000 And I know that meant the world to him, but he meant the world to you as well.
00:39:39.000 And so tell us about what Charlie Kirk meant to Rob Schneider.
00:39:43.000 Well, first of all, I didn't understand what this was about.
00:39:46.000 I didn't understand the concept of a young person trying to galvanize other young people to do something.
00:39:53.000 To do something patriotic, to do something for our Lord and for Jesus Christ.
00:40:00.000 I didn't know that that was a possibility.
00:40:02.000 And not only was it a possibility, but you had a human being, an American patriot, who loved this country so much and loved his Lord and Savior so much.
00:40:13.000 His goal was to bring people closer to Christ first.
00:40:17.000 His second goal was to preserve the God given freedoms that were granted to us under the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever known.
00:40:26.000 And it just.
00:40:28.000 I just couldn't believe that somebody existed like that.
00:40:32.000 And he really was, to me, Charlie Kirk was a miracle.
00:40:37.000 I mean, and I said, I texted you last night, and it's going to make me cry.
00:40:42.000 But I said, you know, Charlie was the closest thing to an angel of anyone I've ever met.
00:40:48.000 I was inspired by him and blown away by him and humbled by him.
00:40:54.000 How much he had done in his short 31 years, what he has accomplished will last for centuries.
00:41:01.000 I think what we really had, and one of the last texts I had to him, and Andrew, you know, you were so much closer to him and knew him for so many years.
00:41:09.000 And he just, but I was able to really understand the gravity and the depth and the gravitas and the brilliance.
00:41:16.000 And I said to him, you know, in our text, I said, we have, America has someone with the same principles and the same elegant eloquence and the same brilliance of our founding fathers.
00:41:30.000 His name is Charlie Kirk.
00:41:32.000 And he just said, thank you.
00:41:34.000 And it really does.
00:41:36.000 What he did was, he was able to dig into what and remind people what was necessary for this incredible institution, for this incredible experiment of American freedom under God, under our Creator, what needs to continue.
00:41:52.000 And that is courage.
00:41:53.000 And that's the one thing that he asked people and that he asked for me to ask people 1% more courage a year.
00:42:03.000 Just 1%.
00:42:03.000 Have that extra conversation.
00:42:05.000 Do that little bit extra to look into your founding fathers.
00:42:09.000 Find out what John Adams said about this great nation.
00:42:13.000 Look up what Thomas Jefferson and how old he was and the age of Alexander Hamilton and James Madison, what they were able to do at a young age.
00:42:23.000 Because the idea that's been, you know, these children are being told, these young people are being told that they can't do things and they shouldn't be able to do incredible things.
00:42:33.000 But look what Charlie was able to do in his short life before he was stolen.
00:42:37.000 So terribly from us by these leftist liars.
00:42:41.000 I mean, it was an ideology of leftism that murdered Charlie Kirk.
00:42:45.000 It was this lies that he was a racist, he was never a racist.
00:42:49.000 Lies that he was hateful, he was never hateful.
00:42:51.000 He was loving.
00:42:52.000 And there is no proof at all in any of those, in any of his statements, in any of the videos, but he was anything else but wanting to hear people who disagreed with him, wanting to share his love of Jesus Christ and bring people to the Lord, wanting to share his patriotism and inspire others to get involved because he knew that's what was required.
00:43:11.000 For us to continue in this incredible gift, God given gift of our freedoms.
00:43:16.000 And I'm forever changed by Charlie, just as I know, Andrew, you are.
00:43:21.000 Yeah.
00:43:22.000 I mean, Blake, myself, everybody that's in this building right now, everybody's on this campus right now has been changed by Charlie in one way, shape, or form or another.
00:43:30.000 And, you know, but you had this amazing gift with Charlie.
00:43:34.000 You, you know, when you were singing that national anthem, you just took your moment and you were singing like full into the mic, and Charlie's just like, look at him.
00:43:44.000 He's loving it, letting you be you.
00:43:46.000 And you were a happy warrior alongside Charlie.
00:43:48.000 So you, you, uh, You guys paired so well.
00:43:52.000 I think it must have seemed strange to people, probably.
00:43:54.000 Like, here's Rob Schneider, comedian, actor from Hollywood, with Charlie Kirk, serious political activist guy.
00:44:01.000 And yet, you guys had this great chemistry together.
00:44:04.000 Here's another clip of you guys joking around before a campus stop, SOT 37.
00:44:09.000 Hi, I'm Charlie Kirk.
00:44:12.000 I'm Rob Schneider.
00:44:13.000 And today, what are we doing?
00:44:15.000 Well, you can do it.
00:44:15.000 You can do it!
00:44:17.000 Let's go talk to some kids.
00:44:18.000 Let's go talk to some voters.
00:44:20.000 Let's get these voters voting right now.
00:44:22.000 We'll see you in a bit.
00:44:23.000 Thank you.
00:44:24.000 Apparently, that got 40 million views.
00:44:27.000 40 million views.
00:44:28.000 According to Ryan.
00:44:29.000 Yeah.
00:44:30.000 And then it was like, you know, people are last.
00:44:33.000 Who is that midget next to Charlie Kirk?
00:44:37.000 You know, it's funny, right?
00:44:38.000 Because Charlie, 6'5, I remember the internet thought he was like at first 5'10, and then they said he was 6'1.
00:44:45.000 And there was this whole internet controversy because there was a picture with Trump, who also is 6'1.
00:44:49.000 And they were like, why does Trump look so much shorter?
00:44:52.000 He's shrinking.
00:44:53.000 Or he lied about his size.
00:44:54.000 And I actually am writing this op ed.
00:44:56.000 It's going to come out tomorrow.
00:44:57.000 But Charlie was.
00:44:59.000 6'5, but somehow he even felt bigger than 6'5.
00:45:03.000 I don't know, maybe from your vantage, even more so, but.
00:45:06.000 No, he was a gentle giant.
00:45:09.000 And I would just say that the thing about Charlie that strikes me, that puts a smile on my face today, was his incredible generosity.
00:45:16.000 And when he said, if you disagree, come to the front of the line, and he meant that.
00:45:20.000 But he also, I saw him do this, moderating this event in July of last year, the last time I was with Charlie, and it was, you know, discussing, you know, a controversial topic.
00:45:33.000 And with two people.
00:45:34.000 But the generosity that he showed between two adversaries who were talking, and his goal was to have a peaceful discourse and to keep it calm and respectful.
00:45:45.000 And that's really what he was about.
00:45:46.000 I mean, to me, it's a loss also to the left because you lost somebody who loved you.
00:45:53.000 You lost somebody who loved this country and who would have fought for you just as hard.
00:45:57.000 He didn't have a political leaning bone in his body.
00:46:01.000 He would tell you, and Charlie would say, I don't have a problem with liberals.
00:46:05.000 We can have dinner, we can get together, we can argue, we can have debate.
00:46:09.000 It's leftists that don't want to listen that claim tolerance but are intolerant.
00:46:14.000 The most intolerant people are the ones who speak and demand tolerance of others.
00:46:19.000 But he had an incredible knack of communicating ideas and doing it in a loving way.
00:46:26.000 And that's the difference between every other person in the political realm, is because Charlie was doing it for a higher reason.
00:46:32.000 And that, which puts the pressure on Andrew, on you, on Blake, and myself.
00:46:38.000 Because we have to take our own egos out of the equation, our own vanity, the own potential to think about how we can raise ourselves in an issue.
00:46:47.000 Charlie was about this bringing people to Christ first, preserving our freedoms, and educating people, bringing them up.
00:46:55.000 And it's a reminder that he always had a higher purpose, and that was for supporting Jesus Christ and this great nation.
00:47:03.000 And that's a great reminder for all of us as what we need to do as well.
00:47:07.000 Rob, we've talked a lot here and talking with you.
00:47:12.000 Previously, that a lot of tremendous good has come out of Charlie's legacy.
00:47:17.000 I'm looking through our emails.
00:47:18.000 I've found multiple emails, people testifying.
00:47:21.000 I got baptized because of Charlie got me over the hump either before or after his martyrdom, and other people I know.
00:47:28.000 We've seen tremendous good, but we've seen it's like we believe the devil is real.
00:47:33.000 We believe he's going to act where there's tremendous good.
00:47:36.000 He's going to be on that like a fly on honey.
00:47:39.000 We see a lot of evil from the left that.
00:47:42.000 They're holding costume contests, Charlie Kirk lookalike contests.
00:47:47.000 They're chomping at the bit for tomorrow to ridicule the people who remember him.
00:47:52.000 But we see another strand of evil as well, which is people have seen the love for Charlie, the love for Charlie's family, and they seem to have thought, how can I divert that?
00:48:04.000 How can I make that about myself?
00:48:07.000 How can I ruin that?
00:48:09.000 And so they've attacked Erica.
00:48:12.000 You know who yesterday was saying, Oh, Erica wrote this op ed.
00:48:16.000 It could have been better written, like just the nastiest stuff.
00:48:19.000 We see a lot of people, that's their natural reaction to this.
00:48:23.000 And I guess the floor is yours.
00:48:25.000 What do you make of that sort of attitude people have?
00:48:29.000 I remember M. Scott Peck, who wrote, he's the first guy who wrote The Road Less.
00:48:33.000 He wrote, he's the first self help book, The Road Less Traveled, which was on the self, it was literally the first one that it was on the bestseller list for 25 years.
00:48:44.000 And it was really about a spiritual book written by an atheist who later became a born again Christian.
00:48:50.000 And he said something to me after he became a Christian.
00:48:55.000 I went to his lectures and he said something that shook me.
00:48:58.000 He said, If the devil exists, he's saying, Don't make waves.
00:49:03.000 Just go along with everything.
00:49:05.000 Why would you want to get involved in this?
00:49:07.000 So, yes, evil exists.
00:49:09.000 And, you know, the devil's greatest trick is to make us think he's not real.
00:49:13.000 And so, the fact of the matter is, we are in a spiritual world.
00:49:18.000 But it's not an even 50 50 deal.
00:49:23.000 There is far more good than bad in the world, but good gets that, but the evil does get that attention.
00:49:30.000 And there is an attack.
00:49:31.000 I mean, for all the people who ever attacked and said Charlie Kirk was a racist, was, you know, hated gay people, which is not factual, there's no factual proof of any of it.
00:49:42.000 What he was was wanting law under God and God's laws and loved people.
00:49:48.000 And hated the sin, loved the sinner.
00:49:50.000 But you never had anyone attacking him on the way he looked, on the way he dressed, on, you know, so that's what Erica's having to deal with.
00:49:59.000 Erica is a lovely person who did not ask to be put in this position.
00:50:04.000 She was thrust into it and she has risen to the job.
00:50:08.000 And I think she is an incredible honor for all young people to realize what you can do when you're thrust in that situation.
00:50:15.000 She's a wonderful mother, she's a great leader, and she's a wonderful Christian.
00:50:19.000 And so, of course, these people who are effective.
00:50:22.000 And these beautiful people are going to be attacked.
00:50:25.000 And so it is important that we stand up against it and just know that in the face of this, that there's going to be this rise of evil, there's also going to be a rise in good.
00:50:37.000 And we're going to be, there's going to be challenging for us.
00:50:40.000 And that's why it's so important to heed the words of what Charlie Kirk said be courageous, stand up and oppose this.
00:50:47.000 And as far as the ugliness that'll come tomorrow, we have to know that.
00:50:53.000 That is something that fades and doesn't last.
00:50:56.000 And there's, you know, talk about no borders.
00:50:59.000 Hell has no borders, Heaven does.
00:51:02.000 There's a requirement for heaven.
00:51:03.000 You're either going to get there, and the afterlife, you know, when you're done, you're either going to get justice or you're going to get grace.
00:51:11.000 And justice for all of us falls short of the glory of God.
00:51:17.000 All of us do.
00:51:19.000 Or by the grace of Jesus Christ.
00:51:21.000 That's all we have.
00:51:22.000 So you want grace.
00:51:23.000 And so part of that grace is to just know that and to not take it to heart.
00:51:30.000 And it's hard because, you know, Erica and Charlie were half my age.
00:51:35.000 And I just know the intensity.
00:51:36.000 Of what can happen in the social media and the things that, truthfully, it's been such a big part of young people's lives.
00:51:43.000 They don't remember what it was like before.
00:51:45.000 But the fact of the matter is, you know, we are going to be persecuted as Christians.
00:51:51.000 We just are.
00:51:52.000 I mean, if you look at all the apostles, I mean, they must have seen something spectacular.
00:52:01.000 They must have seen something out of this world.
00:52:04.000 They must have seen truly a man who came back from the dead to allow themselves to be.
00:52:11.000 Killed so brutally, and to stand up for something and not turn their back against it.
00:52:15.000 And so, I think that charge is to us to not turn our back against what Charlie stood for and to stand up for our Lord and stand up for what we can do for our nation.
00:52:27.000 And that's the thing, Andrew, that was really kind of stunning to me is when you talk to, you know, Frank Turek, who's.
00:52:35.000 I feel like Frank lost a friend and I lost a friend and we ended up with each other.
00:52:40.000 And I'm sorry for Frank that he got mean, but it's.
00:52:44.000 But I think, though, that we have to be charged and energized by this and know that there's a calling for us.
00:52:54.000 And that calling is to fight for our country.
00:52:57.000 And it's really painful when you learn that you have these pastors at these churches that aren't energizing their congregation to go out and vote.
00:53:06.000 It's like, let's get out there and vote.
00:53:08.000 I mean, that's the difference between what Charlie warned us about was this, you know, what's really the danger to America.
00:53:15.000 The biggest danger, more than Pearl Harbor, more than 9 11, is this Islamic combining with this leftism, communism, to take down America, as Charlie said, to slit the throats of Americans.
00:53:28.000 So, of America.
00:53:30.000 And that's something that he was really concerned about just literally the day before he died.
00:53:35.000 And that's something we should be.
00:53:37.000 We need to get the mosques, 98% of them vote.
00:53:42.000 And we need to get 98% of our Christians to vote.
00:53:46.000 So, organize and vote.
00:53:48.000 Yeah, Rob, I think what you said is really beautiful.
00:53:51.000 It's not a 50 50 fight.
00:53:52.000 We know who wins this spiritual battle in the end.
00:53:55.000 And how amazing for each and every one of us out there that God chose you for this particular mission.
00:54:01.000 And this is our lot.
00:54:02.000 This is your lot.
00:54:04.000 And Charlie would not want us to shrink back, he would want us to forge ahead.
00:54:09.000 And we have his kids to think about and our kids to think about.
00:54:11.000 Rob Schneider, God bless you, my friend.

00:55:30.000 We are joined on set by Cliff Maloney, a regular here, one of our dear friends.
00:55:37.000 Here's the deal.
00:55:38.000 We're talking a lot about what Charlie believed, his legacy, his mission, but there's nothing more central to his mission than the fact that he was willing to move, to operate, to take action.
00:55:49.000 Blake, I think, has coined one of my favorite expressions of Charlie, or the highest agency person we know.
00:55:55.000 The highest agency person that we've ever met.
00:55:58.000 He was willing to do whatever it took to solve problems, and he thought he could be the guy to solve them.
00:56:03.000 That's why we built Chase the Vote.
00:56:06.000 That's why we are.
00:56:08.000 Building out the red wall.
00:56:09.000 That's why we partnered with Cliff Maloney and Citizens Alliance.
00:56:13.000 So, your reflection on this, you know, as we remember the totality of who Charlie was this week on the one year anniversary, talk about that him in the field, him with the grassroots.
00:56:24.000 Yeah, I think one of the biggest things that always stuck with me is losers don't legislate, right?
00:56:29.000 This idea that so many people want to pontificate, so many people want to talk about ideas, they want to talk about the principles or legislation they support.
00:56:36.000 The left plays no games, right?
00:56:38.000 The left understands you must win, you must win electorally.
00:56:42.000 If you're going to decide the policies that we live under, so I always say that Charlie understood the campus effort.
00:56:49.000 He understood the young minds.
00:56:50.000 He understood persuading the next generation because we were losing that battle for 30, 40 years based on the polling, right?
00:56:56.000 I mean, young people were going to the left.
00:56:59.000 And I think Charlie understood that we had to win the hearts and minds of young people, but it wasn't enough.
00:57:05.000 There were so many people that got that, but didn't understand that there's a second tier to this.
00:57:09.000 And that tier is winning elections.
00:57:12.000 Not because you just want to win to say you won, but because If you want to dictate the rules that we live under, if you want to understand what it means to actually have an impact, you have to win.
00:57:22.000 But so many people don't realize the work that that takes, right?
00:57:26.000 And Charlie always said, do the work, knock that extra door, because he understood that if we're going to adapt to the rules, if we're going to compete, we have to fight fire with fire.
00:57:35.000 We have to beat the Democrats at their own game.
00:57:38.000 And I think so much of Charlie's legacy was saying, no excuses.
00:57:42.000 We have to do what needs to be done to win.
00:57:46.000 And I'm hoping that we can live out that legacy, not just in 2026, but obviously moving forward in 2028.
00:57:51.000 Yeah, you know, it's interesting.
00:57:52.000 I've been getting so many comments or requests for comments from like people in the media, and it's weird.
00:57:57.000 They want to talk about Charlie's absence and the felt absence in this midterm race.
00:58:05.000 And, you know, what does it mean?
00:58:06.000 What does it mean for young voters?
00:58:07.000 And I'm so like frustrated by that question because, of course, there is an absence.
00:58:13.000 Of course, we all feel the absence.
00:58:15.000 But, If you think that Charlie just snapped his finger one day and all of a sudden he knew how to galvanize young voters, like you're completely mistaken.
00:58:24.000 He started Turning Point in 2012, and people don't remember after 2020, guess what they did to Charlie Kirk?
00:58:29.000 They blamed him for that loss.
00:58:31.000 They blamed him for the fact that young people didn't come out for Donald Trump in 2020.
00:58:35.000 They said, Turning Point, smoke and mirrors.
00:58:37.000 Charlie Kirk is a grip.
00:58:38.000 They did it in 22 as well.
00:58:40.000 They did it.
00:58:40.000 Yeah.
00:58:41.000 And so what did he do?
00:58:42.000 He kept iterating, he kept trying to figure it out, he kept toying with the formula.
00:58:47.000 And the, and, That's when we had the big breakthrough, and I believe it started in 2023.
00:58:51.000 We started seeing the campus crowds grow, the viral clips started spreading, and he started doubling and tripling down on the campus stops.
00:58:59.000 But that took doing to figure out the right answer.
00:59:01.000 One of the most inspiring things about Charlie, we have a natural bias, and this is just how humans like to imagine things.
00:59:06.000 We like to imagine tremendous heroes practically just falling from the sky, and they're naturally brilliant, and they're able to just do great deeds because they're like Achilles and Iliad or something.
00:59:18.000 But to your point, Charlie was told, you know, there were these conspiracy theories that he was sort of like built in a petri dish, grown in a petri dish by billionaire donors or something like that.
00:59:27.000 And it's the exact opposite.
00:59:29.000 What Charlie is such a testament to is what basically any of us are capable of doing.
00:59:35.000 That Charlie, all it was was just that higher level of agency and probably being 6'5, but that higher level of agency.
00:59:43.000 He always did say, Slightly.
00:59:44.000 Politicians don't have such a good test.
00:59:46.000 Slightly higher level of agency to say, Here is what I want to do.
00:59:50.000 Here is the problem I identify.
00:59:52.000 Okay, what can I now immediately do to try to do that?
00:59:55.000 Or that sign he had in his office, the three things on it, I might get the word wrong, but it's how can I add value to the world today?
01:00:01.000 How can I help somebody today?
01:00:03.000 How can I honor God today?
01:00:04.000 Those three questions are what he's always asking himself.
01:00:07.000 And then he gets that answer and he immediately puts it into practice.
01:00:10.000 And you do that thousands of times, and you are Charlie Kirk.
01:00:13.000 There are so many of these political consultants, though, and people in our orbits, right?
01:00:17.000 Some of them might be friends.
01:00:19.000 That is extremely rare to be a problem solver, to be somebody in the political arena that is actually saying, hey, listen, what is the left doing?
01:00:28.000 What are we doing?
01:00:30.000 Why aren't we doing what they're doing?
01:00:31.000 What is working?
01:00:32.000 What's the obstacle?
01:00:34.000 What's missing?
01:00:35.000 And coming up with a solution.
01:00:36.000 It's much easier to be on autopilot, right?
01:00:38.000 This is why so many of the GOP consultants, and I get in trouble every time I say this.
01:00:42.000 They want to do their television ads.
01:00:44.000 They want to make their 15% commission.
01:00:46.000 Nobody wants to have to manage these door to door programs, these ground efforts to book hotels, to do the work that we're doing.
01:00:54.000 It's a pain in the rear end, right?
01:00:56.000 It's so much easier.
01:00:57.000 But that was the beauty of Charlie saying, look, here's a problem.
01:01:01.000 Let's think about this from not just a high level, but let's get in the weeds, right?
01:01:05.000 Let's go out and knock the doors and talk to people and figure out how does this work?
01:01:08.000 Why is the left doing this?
01:01:10.000 But I'm telling you guys, nobody did that.
01:01:12.000 And even to.
01:01:13.000 Today, very few people are willing to look at the problems and then create solutions.
01:01:18.000 And you see, it's why, for example, it's why President Trump clearly had so much respect for Charlie.
01:01:24.000 He'd mentioned this that there's endless people who will say nice things about the president or will support him.
01:01:29.000 It's easy to have a lot of sycophants.
01:01:31.000 But why he clearly thought Charlie was special is Charlie could say, I'll get it done, Mr. President.
01:01:36.000 And then it went and happened.
01:01:37.000 He would make that rally happen.
01:01:38.000 He would make that get out the vote effort happen.
01:01:41.000 He would get that crowd to show up for something on short notice.
01:01:45.000 And Charlie did that not just for.
01:01:47.000 A president of the United States, he would do it for other candidates.
01:01:51.000 He would just do it for businessmen, people who wanted to get involved.
01:01:55.000 If he told you he would get something done, he followed up on that.
01:01:58.000 Charlie was a guy who delivered.
01:01:59.000 And at a level, you know, people ask me about replacing Charlie, and we all know you cannot do that.
01:02:04.000 But I always say it's not just replacing, you have to understand the things that he was world class at.
01:02:09.000 You have to understand the things that he was one of the best in the world at.
01:02:12.000 Number one, the guy raised over $100 million a year for an organization.
01:02:16.000 Do you know how rare that is by itself?
01:02:19.000 Number two, the guy was an advisor to the president of the United States of America.
01:02:23.000 That in itself is one person, one item that he knocked off that, like, you know, very few people get to do.
01:02:29.000 Then he had the Daily Show.
01:02:30.000 We're sitting here right now.
01:02:31.000 You're talking two hours, five days a week.
01:02:33.000 He used to be three hours.
01:02:36.000 You've got the campus tours where he's having these actual debates across the country.
01:02:40.000 I mean, it goes on and on for the things that he's able to do at a level that nobody else has ever been able to do.
01:02:47.000 And he was able to do all of them.
01:02:49.000 So, when I talk about, you know, and you mentioned the media, they're blowing me up this week too, talking about the absence of Charlie and what does this mean?
01:02:55.000 And I always say to them, you're never going to replace a Charlie Kirk, but you have to find pieces of what he did, and we have to try to develop leaders that are able to handle that.
01:03:05.000 It's a very difficult task.
01:03:06.000 And I want people to understand so, what is Turning Point doing?
01:03:09.000 We have over 50 influencers, media personalities, students, chapter leaders that are all being part of something called Pick Up the Mic.
01:03:18.000 And they're going to do over 300 different stops all across the country.
01:03:22.000 Yeah, they're not going to have 3,000 people show up in front of them, but they might have a couple dozen, they might have a couple hundred, and they're going to have those debates.
01:03:29.000 And we're going to clip them and we're going to put them, you know, and you never know.
01:03:32.000 Like, some of those voices might rise to the top.
01:03:34.000 And some of the amazing people that we have doing it include Will Witt, John Doyle, many others, right?
01:03:40.000 Nick Freitas has been on fire with you guys.
01:03:42.000 Yeah, exactly.
01:03:43.000 So some of these people are really, they want to go back out there.
01:03:47.000 And it's interesting because some people are like, I would never do that because, you know, what happened to John?
01:03:50.000 These guys want to go back out there and have the debates.
01:03:53.000 And it's amazing.
01:03:55.000 And we have security and we have all that kind of stuff that we can do.
01:03:58.000 But the point is, if you think about it, it's almost like, That's 50 people.
01:04:02.000 It's not just Charlie.
01:04:03.000 That means it's almost like 50 times the work for Turning Point.
01:04:05.000 And we're doing it because we know that we have to.
01:04:07.000 We're still doing the campus tour and we're still chasing votes, actually, even more so than we were before.
01:04:13.000 We have more staff.
01:04:14.000 And I tell people, we are light years ahead of where we were in 2024.
01:04:18.000 The system that Charlie helped build and this roadmap that we have towards 2028, building the red wall, is going forward.
01:04:25.000 It's marching forward in earnest.
01:04:27.000 And commit 100.
01:04:29.000 We have a minute left in this segment, but everybody needs to get involved in this.
01:04:32.000 Here's my big ask to everybody out there.
01:04:34.000 If you're wondering how I can get involved, how can you fight on the way that Charlie would want, come join us, whether it's here in Arizona, Nevada, New Hampshire, tpaction.comslash 100.
01:04:45.000 tpaction.comslash 100.
01:04:47.000 Look, we'll pay for you to come out here.
01:04:49.000 We'll put you up in a hotel.
01:04:50.000 We've got Tyler Boyer steering the ship here, Citizens Alliance, Turning Point.
01:04:55.000 This is Charlie's vision to make sure that we have people on the ground in the key red wall states.
01:05:01.000 So I want to say that one more time tpaction.comslash 100.
01:05:05.000 You, anybody you know, folks out there, focus.
01:05:10.000 Stop arguing online.
01:05:11.000 Come out and make a real difference in the states that, once again, this isn't just 2026.
01:05:17.000 It's 2028 working backwards.
01:05:19.000 TPAction.com/slash 100.
01:05:21.000 That's how you make a difference.
01:05:22.000 Listen, there's so many things to celebrate over this last, you know, Trump's second term.
01:05:28.000 You know, violence at, I think it's murder rates are at the lowest they've been since 1900.
01:05:33.000 You've got net migration of foreigners out of this country.
01:05:36.000 You've got the DEI getting squashed out of the government.
01:05:40.000 We have the lowest employment level of the federal government since we've had since 1966, and they keep slashing.
01:05:46.000 I mean, these are huge generational wins.
01:05:49.000 There was another stat that came out.
01:05:50.000 Wins that would have never happened with any other administration.
01:05:53.000 Yes, exactly.
01:05:54.000 There was another stat that came out that they fired nearly 200 left wing immigration judges and replaced them with 360 America First Patriot judges to get these people the hell out.
01:06:04.000 And I'm telling you, none of this happens without Charlie Kirk.
01:06:07.000 None of this happens.
01:06:08.000 With people black pilling and dooming online.
01:06:11.000 It happens when you commit to chasing ballots with turning point action.
01:06:15.000 Commit 100.
01:06:17.000 Go to tpaction.comslash 100.
01:06:20.000 Stop giving in to the incessant noise because, listen, it is a binary choice, but we have a lot of good things to sell.
01:06:27.000 It's not just the lesser of two evils.
01:06:28.000 We're actually doing generational work here, and you can be a part of making sure that work continues.
01:06:36.000 Before he ever stepped onto a debate stage or behind a microphone, Charlie understood something really important.
01:06:42.000 That if you want to lead, you first have to learn.
01:06:45.000 Charlie believed that ideas shape character, conviction, and courage.
01:06:49.000 That's why he spent years studying the classics, the American founding, and the Bible through Hillsdale College's free online courses.
01:06:55.000 He would rave about these courses all the time.
01:06:58.000 These free online courses are taught by Hillsdale College professors and draw from the same great books and enduring ideas studied on Hillsdale's campus.
01:07:06.000 Hillsdale's newest free online course is the Iliad, where Professor Stephen Smith guides students through Homer's great epic of honor, courage, friendship, leadership, and the pursuit of true greatness.
01:07:17.000 For nearly 3,000 years, the Iliad has shaped the Western imagination.
01:07:21.000 It tells the story of Achilles as he confronts injustice, rage, grief, responsibility, and the terrible costs of war.
01:07:28.000 But Homer's epic is more than a story of ancient battles.
01:07:31.000 It raises enduring questions about courage, duty, leadership, sacrifice, and self-command.
01:07:36.000 Achilles is the greatest warrior among the Greeks, but Homer asks whether strength alone is enough to make a man truly great.
01:07:43.000 In this new free online course, you'll follow Achilles through the defining trials of his life and discover why one of the greatest works of Western literature still speaks.
01:07:51.000 To the permanent questions of human life.
01:07:53.000 Charlie understood that learning isn't just about gaining knowledge, it's about forming the mind and character needed to face the challenges of life with wisdom and courage.
01:08:02.000 You can enroll today completely free and take this class or their 40 plus other free online courses.
01:08:08.000 Just visit charlieforhillsdale.com to start learning today.
01:08:11.000 That's charlieforhillsdale.com.
01:08:13.000 Learn deeply, think clearly, lead boldly, and carry it forward just like Charlie.
01:08:21.000 Cliff, Why don't you tell people about the races you're looking at?
01:08:24.000 This is all an ode to Charlie, by the way.
01:08:27.000 How are things shaping up?
01:08:28.000 Everybody's dooming.
01:08:30.000 How do we be a part of the solution?
01:08:32.000 Yeah, I think being a part of the solution is doing the real work, right?
01:08:34.000 So, once again, I'm going to pitch our Red Wall program, which is Citizens Alliance and Turning Point coming together to do what we would call the real work, not the arguing on Twitter, not the screaming back and forth, not the doomsdaying.
01:08:46.000 So, we've got Nevada, we've got Arizona, we've got New Hampshire.
01:08:49.000 TPAction.com.
01:08:51.000 You're the East Coast guy.
01:08:53.000 So tell us about this.
01:08:54.000 Tyler will give me some credit for this.
01:08:55.000 We have been in New Hampshire since 2018.
01:08:58.000 Okay.
01:08:59.000 We flipped the New Hampshire Statehouse in 2022.
01:09:01.000 So we've got a Patriot as the Speaker.
01:09:03.000 Which was a tough, tough cycle.
01:09:05.000 We weren't, yeah, it wasn't supposed to happen.
01:09:06.000 We've got a Patriot, and Jason Osborne is the majority leader.
01:09:09.000 Jason Osborne is now turning point action endorsed, running for Speaker because the current Speaker is retiring.
01:09:15.000 So we're rooting for Osborne.
01:09:16.000 We've got to hold that majority.
01:09:19.000 But here is the biggest sleeper of the 2026 election.
01:09:23.000 And Tyler might get mad at me for being a little too loud about this.
01:09:26.000 The U.S. Senate race, which yesterday Sununu did win the nomination, 20 point action endorsed once again.
01:09:33.000 Sununu has a shot to flip this seat.
01:09:35.000 And here's why it's important.
01:09:37.000 If we flip this seat in New Hampshire, it becomes almost impossible for us to lose the U.S. Senate.
01:09:44.000 Now, people could argue if it's the worst day in the world, but if we flip a blue seat to red, it becomes almost impossible for them to have the U.S. Senate.
01:09:53.000 So are we doing the work, working backwards from 2028 as Charlie always envisioned?
01:09:59.000 Yes.
01:09:59.000 But there are key races.
01:10:01.000 You've got Andy Biggs, obviously, right here in Arizona.
01:10:04.000 We've got the governor's race and the Senate race in New Hampshire.
01:10:09.000 And obviously, Lombardo back up for reelection in Nevada.
01:10:13.000 And we have Juan Siscomani.
01:10:14.000 We've got Jay Feely.
01:10:16.000 I mean, there's a lot of, I mean, the House could come through Arizona as well.
01:10:20.000 So that's why we keep saying, like, be a part of this.
01:10:22.000 You get to, first of all, we're going to train you up, we're going to give you 100 names.
01:10:26.000 This is how it works.
01:10:27.000 You pull the app up on your phone, we deploy you to a part of the town or part of Maricopa or somewhere else.
01:10:33.000 And you literally just follow those hundred names.
01:10:36.000 You text them, you call them, you knock on their doors, and you work those names.
01:10:40.000 And by the way, if you're really good and you get through those hundred names and you need a hundred more, we can do that for you.
01:10:45.000 And that is your job.
01:10:47.000 100.
01:10:47.000 If you multiply that times thousands of volunteers, you can make a huge difference.
01:10:51.000 You could put Andy Biggs into the as a governor because we don't have a governor's mansion in Arizona.
01:10:56.000 I always want to use that expression, but we don't.
01:10:59.000 But that we could literally turn Arizona into the Florida of the West.
01:11:02.000 Well, that is what we could do in Arizona.
01:11:03.000 I just want to get people hyped up because if they think, oh, this is a tough year, I'm remembering 2018, we lost a bunch of seats in the House, but we actually gained a seat in the Senate because of hero Rick Scott, who unseated an incumbent Democrat senator in Florida.
01:11:19.000 10,000 votes.
01:11:20.000 We also won that governor's race, only a few thousand votes.
01:11:23.000 Think about how much it has helped us nationwide that we eked out those two wins.
01:11:29.000 That's why we're able to confirm all of those judges that Trump was ramming through in the second half of his term.
01:11:35.000 That's why we basically argued about why we were able to win in 24 because we weren't pouring resources into Florida because we were able to win it by 20.
01:11:42.000 Well, and listen, El Sayed is down according to the latest polling in Michigan.
01:11:47.000 So you think Michigan, New Hampshire, okay?
01:11:50.000 You start piecing together some of these wins and the board starts looking pretty darn good.
01:11:53.000 Got to remember, there's way fewer true swing districts left.
01:11:59.000 So it's a much harder slog for the Democrats to really claw back huge numbers like we saw in 2018.
01:12:05.000 The board has changed.
01:12:07.000 What other races, Cliff, do we need to be looking at?
01:12:09.000 Yeah, I mean, listen, there's plenty of those congressional races in each of those states that are going to be in play.
01:12:14.000 We've got New Hampshire 1, Anthony DiLorenzo, who won yesterday.
01:12:18.000 There are tons of opportunities.
01:12:20.000 But, Andrew, I want to double down on one thing you said.
01:12:22.000 The Commit 100 program, the reason it's so cool is if you're tired of politics and you think it's all this.
01:12:27.000 Loud and it's just noise.
01:12:29.000 You know, out of your 100 people who actually vote, right?
01:12:33.000 You get assigned to 100 people, and guess what?
01:12:35.000 Not saying you want to take credit, but you also could be held accountable.
01:12:38.000 How impactful are you at communicating and driving voters to make sure they show up?
01:12:43.000 So be a part of something, right?
01:12:45.000 Instead of just screaming into the ether, come out to one of these swing states, be in one of the swing districts, and actually make a difference to try to win one of these seats.
01:12:55.000 The actual power and control of Congress is going to be determined by just a couple of these seats.
01:13:02.000 Whether it's Arizona, Nevada, or New Hampshire, you've got the U.S. Senate races.
01:13:06.000 We've got governor races in all of them.
01:13:08.000 But if you want to come out here, tpaction.com/slash 100, we're going to take care of you.
01:13:13.000 You're going to be put up in a hotel with our volunteers, with our paid staff.
01:13:17.000 But it's about being part of something bigger than yourself.
01:13:20.000 And it's all of those people that are passionate, they care about Charlie's legacy, they care about the work that we're doing at Citizens Alliance at Turning Point.
01:13:28.000 This is the way to make a difference: to stop sitting on the sidelines, jump onto the field, put on your pads, do some blocking and tackling.
01:13:36.000 Because we know what works.
01:13:37.000 How do we know what works?
01:13:38.000 We did this in 2024.
01:13:40.000 We pulled it off.
01:13:41.000 Guess where we ripped off most of our best ideas from?
01:13:45.000 The left.
01:13:45.000 The left.
01:13:45.000 You had about a 20 year head start on us on this front, which is why they started winning close elections time and time again.
01:13:51.000 And we kept scratching our head going, what the heck just happened?
01:13:54.000 When Kerry Lake lost by 17,000 votes, shenanigans aside, it doesn't matter.
01:13:58.000 You're too big to rig.
01:13:59.000 We could have won that race had we been doing the work.
01:14:01.000 You know, we get these emails, by the way, all the time like, don't tell people to vote early.
01:14:05.000 Listen, if you have a.
01:14:08.000 You know, a tire go out on election day, you might not get to vote, okay?
01:14:13.000 Charlie would always say, you do not leave anything to chance.
01:14:16.000 Always have a plan to vote.
01:14:18.000 Whether, you know, remember if your plan is to vote early and you forget or your kid gets sick or your parent gets sick or you have a work emergency, you can still vote on election day.
01:14:26.000 Drop it off in person.
01:14:27.000 Do whatever you do that feels good for you.
01:14:30.000 Just make sure it happens.
01:14:31.000 I mean, remember, you would think about the Senate race in Nevada, Sandoval.
01:14:35.000 No, it wasn't Sandoval.
01:14:36.000 It was Laxalt?
01:14:37.000 Laxalt.
01:14:38.000 Big snowstorm that day in northern Nevada, and a bunch of people stayed home.
01:14:43.000 Whatever, you never know what's going to happen.
01:14:45.000 The point is, get it done and be a part of the solution.
01:14:48.000 Charlie would be screaming from the rooftops.
01:14:51.000 Go be a part of something bigger than yourself.
01:14:53.000 Join Commit 100.
01:14:54.000 Do it today and honor Charlie.
01:14:56.000 This week, this would be a perfect week to do it.
01:14:58.000 Cliff Maloney, God bless you, man.
01:15:00.000 Thank you for constantly putting boots on the ground and doing the hard work, the blocking and tackling that actually wins.
01:15:05.000 Appreciate it.
