The Charlie Kirk Show - People of Faith Can Save the Country — Or Lose It: Live with Dr. Ben Carson at Dream City Church

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, my conversation with Dr.

00:00:02.000 Ben Carson at Freedom Night in America.

00:00:03.000 Do me a favor.

00:00:04.000 Go vote right now.

00:00:11.000 How can I help?

00:00:11.000 Do this.

00:00:12.000 Take out a piece of paper and write down five names.

00:00:15.000 Five people that you know are shaky about voting.

00:00:17.000 That are a little...

00:00:19.000 Uncertain.

00:00:20.000 Write down those five names and get them out to vote.

00:00:24.000 Make it your task and your purpose by the time that this day is over that those five people have voted.

00:00:38.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:40.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:42.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:45.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:48.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:50.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:51.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:08.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:36.000 I just want to say this.

00:01:37.000 Dr.

00:01:38.000 Ben Carson is one of the most impressive and important people of our generation.

00:01:44.000 And I can say this.

00:01:45.000 If all young people, but especially the black youth of this country, would be told and taught of Dr.

00:01:52.000 Ben Carson as a role model, this country would be in a much, much better place.

00:01:56.000 Well, you know, that used to be the case.

00:02:03.000 They would tell a lot of the young black children about me until they became convinced that I was a conservative.

00:02:10.000 And then all of that went away at that point.

00:02:13.000 But let me just say this, and it's not just because he's sitting here, but when you read the Bible, ancient Israel had a lot of incredible people who helped to guide that society.

00:02:28.000 And I think in this modern day...

00:02:31.000 God has given us someone as brave, courageous, and intellectually superior as Charlie Kirk.

00:02:41.000 You know, we were talking about the fact that a lot of the Christian evangelicals are sitting on their hands Sitting on the sideline and complaining.

00:02:58.000 I was reading recently about Billy Graham and how he felt about that and how he felt that it was very wrong to complain about what was going on in society and not get involved in helping to fashion the direction of society.

00:03:18.000 And a lot of Christians in particular say, but both sides And I don't want to be in a position of voting for somebody who is not what I think should represent us.

00:03:38.000 I don't want to vote between the lesser of two evils.

00:03:43.000 You've heard that said, I'm sure, many times.

00:03:46.000 Unless one of the candidates is Jesus Christ, you're always voting between the lesser of two evils.

00:03:57.000 So that's why we should use these incredible brains that God has given us to distinguish between policies that are helpful and policies that are not because there are certain individuals that some people just detest because they don't like their tweets and things like that.

00:04:18.000 I'm not mentioning any names.

00:04:22.000 But do you hate that person more than you love your children and your grandchildren?

00:04:32.000 You know, that's what you've got to think about.

00:04:34.000 These things have to be put into perspective.

00:04:37.000 And you know, it was Benjamin Franklin when he came out of that Constitution Hall in 1787.

00:04:44.000 And he was asked, Sir, what do we have here?

00:04:47.000 A monarchy or a republic?

00:04:51.000 And he famously said, a republic if you can keep it.

00:04:55.000 Look how close we are to losing it right now.

00:04:59.000 You have these crazy people who are using the justice system to go after their political enemies.

00:05:10.000 Who would have ever thought that that would be possible In this country.

00:05:15.000 And yet it is happening right before our eyes.

00:05:19.000 Now, I hope that the person that they're going after actually goes up in the polls because people can see that.

00:05:27.000 I'm not mentioning any names, but I hope that people can actually see what is going on.

00:05:34.000 And isn't it interesting that our enemies, people like Iran, Are trying to kill this person. 0.94

00:05:45.000 They wouldn't be trying to kill him if he wasn't an existential threat to them.

00:05:51.000 And nor would the deep state be trying to kill him if he wasn't an existential threat to them.

00:05:58.000 We have to get behind the right people.

00:06:05.000 And look at the beginnings of our nation.

00:06:09.000 Look at our founding document, the Declaration of Independence.

00:06:13.000 It says that our rights come from our Creator, aka God.

00:06:19.000 Rights like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

00:06:26.000 Now, you don't have to be a great intellectual or academician to figure out which side is for life, which side is for death.

00:06:39.000 And this is something that is particularly sensitive for me because as a pediatric neurosurgeon, I spent many hours, sometimes up all night, operating on little babies, many times premature babies, 25, 26, 27 weeks gestation.

00:06:59.000 And I will tell you, they needed anesthesia.

00:07:05.000 They could feel what you were doing.

00:07:08.000 And yet, when people go after them in late-term abortions, there's no anesthesia.

00:07:16.000 They reach into that uterus with a forcep and grab a limb and pull and twist and out comes an arm or a leg or some other part of the body with no anesthesia. 0.56

00:07:28.000 Can you imagine...

00:07:31.000 How barbaric that is.

00:07:32.000 And we have the nerve to talk about some of the ancient societies and how they sacrificed children and how they were heathen. 0.50

00:07:40.000 Are we any better when we do things like that?

00:07:44.000 We do have a responsibility.

00:07:45.000 It says in the book of Proverbs, the 24th chapter, verses 11 and 12, what about those who are drawn unto death, who are about to be slain, the innocent ones?

00:07:58.000 Did you say anything?

00:08:00.000 Did you do anything?

00:08:01.000 And does not he who sees and knows everything know what you did?

00:08:07.000 We have a responsibility to help those who cannot help themselves.

00:08:13.000 And I'm not just talking about babies who haven't been born yet.

00:08:19.000 I'm talking about people who are out there in our midst.

00:08:22.000 You see all of these homeless people, for instance. 0.91

00:08:27.000 Most of them are either addicted to drugs or are mentally ill.

00:08:36.000 And Housing First doesn't really work.

00:08:39.000 It gets them off the street temporarily, but 90% of them end up back on the street.

00:08:45.000 And we have a gradually increasing number of such people.

00:08:50.000 I talked to the head of the American Psychiatric Association who said that the vast majority of those people With medications and supervision could actually become functional individuals.

00:09:05.000 And then as far as the addicts are concerned, unless you have familiarity with addiction, it's hard to understand what goes on with those people.

00:09:18.000 But the vast majority of addicts, if they could push a button and they would no longer be addicted, they would wear that button out.

00:09:28.000 They would love not to be addicted.

00:09:30.000 But it's not easy.

00:09:33.000 You get up in the morning, you say, okay, I'm done.

00:09:37.000 I'm turning over a new leaf.

00:09:40.000 Within literally hours, you're at it again.

00:09:45.000 Because it's a physiological process that occurs in the brain.

00:09:50.000 And it is very difficult to overcome.

00:09:53.000 It requires compassion.

00:09:56.000 And real professional help to get over things like that.

00:10:00.000 But unless we learn that and we do that in an appropriate way, we're just adding to the numbers.

00:10:07.000 And that is not helpful to us as a society.

00:10:11.000 So we've got to use the brains that God has given us.

00:10:15.000 And then as far as the concept of liberty, I've talked about life, liberty.

00:10:23.000 Which party Which individuals push for liberty?

00:10:29.000 For you being able to lead the life that you want as long as it's not interfering with somebody else?

00:10:35.000 And which party pushes for mandates?

00:10:40.000 You must do this and you must do this.

00:10:42.000 And interfering with your life.

00:10:44.000 It's not too hard to figure that out, is it?

00:10:47.000 And you think about the fact that instead of allowing...

00:10:55.000 What has worked so well in a capitalist society, which is letting market forces drive where the efforts are put.

00:11:06.000 We use mandates, we short circuit the system, and we don't make the same kind of progress.

00:11:13.000 It was because we had a system that encouraged entrepreneurship and innovation and rewarded people for their success That's why the vast, vast majority of inventions, starting in the middle of the 18th century, were starting to come from this country.

00:11:36.000 And by the time we reached the 20th century, it was overwhelmingly from this country that those things were coming. 0.90

00:11:44.000 Because we had a system that encouraged and rewarded it.

00:11:49.000 There's nothing wrong with our system.

00:11:52.000 But we allow the Marxists to convince our young people that it is.

00:11:57.000 Can you imagine being a young person today and the things that they're being subjected to?

00:12:03.000 It's done on purpose.

00:12:06.000 Because the Marxists want a one-world government.

00:12:11.000 And what is the major obstacle to that?

00:12:15.000 It's called the United States of America.

00:12:18.000 And our principles.

00:12:19.000 So...

00:12:21.000 So, Dr.

00:12:22.000 Carson, Christians are in a place that is new. 1.00

00:12:28.000 Billy Graham compared socialism and communism to the religion of Satan.

00:12:34.000 Billy Graham was a crusader against Marxism and communism.

00:12:37.000 We saw the moral majority in the 1980s and 1990s where pastors were willing to speak out.

00:12:43.000 There are 34 days for the election here.

00:12:46.000 There are many pastors in the audience and people that influence pastors and millions of people watching online.

00:12:52.000 What should the message be and why is it that pastors have been reluctant to speak out like generations prior?

00:12:59.000 I think the message should be that we, the people of faith, by sheer numbers, have the ability to control the direction of our country.

00:13:11.000 But if we sit on our hands, it's not going to happen.

00:13:14.000 So I think we have an obligation for all of those who are coming behind us to get off of our tissues and actually get out there and do something.

00:13:26.000 Because you're doing it for your children and for your grandchildren, for all the people who are depending upon you.

00:13:33.000 And we can change it.

00:13:35.000 What we have to understand is that Marxism, socialism, communism, they thrive on intimidation.

00:13:46.000 That's what they do.

00:13:48.000 That's what political correctness and wokeism and canceling people is all about, intimidating them.

00:13:56.000 And we have to recognize that sometimes if we get out there And we're aggressive and we're vocal.

00:14:05.000 That yes, we may in fact be persecuted.

00:14:09.000 The Bible says that.

00:14:11.000 But against the backdrop of eternity, what is a little persecution in this life?

00:14:18.000 We have much bigger goals that we have to be thinking about.

00:14:24.000 And allowing your life to be controlled by fear is a real mistake.

00:14:30.000 I remember when I was a youngster, I was deathly afraid of dogs.

00:14:36.000 I'd be going to school and I would be late because I'd almost be there and there would be a dog.

00:14:42.000 And I'd have to go all the way around the block and come back in a different direction.

00:14:46.000 And then there'd be another dog.

00:14:49.000 But then I met a man...

00:14:53.000 And he said, Benny?

00:14:56.000 A dog will not bother you if you're not afraid of it.

00:15:01.000 Or at least if you act like you're not afraid of it.

00:15:05.000 They will never bother you.

00:15:06.000 I said, are you sure about this?

00:15:08.000 He said, absolutely.

00:15:10.000 No question about it.

00:15:12.000 So I said, I'm going to test this out.

00:15:15.000 Because there was a dog down the street named Rusty who was really a nasty dog and nobody liked to go down that way.

00:15:23.000 So I said, I'm gonna go down there.

00:15:25.000 I go walking down there and Rusty sees me and his ears perk up and he starts licking his chops and he comes running after me, barking and snarling and ran right up to me and I said, this is a mistake.

00:15:45.000 But then he just sniffed my leg, turned around and went back to the porch.

00:15:52.000 And you know, from that day forward, Rusty never bothered me.

00:15:57.000 He would bother other people, but when I walked by, he didn't bother to get up because he knew I wasn't afraid of him.

00:16:03.000 And that's the same thing that will happen with these Marxists in our society.

00:16:07.000 We just have to be brave enough to trust in God and get out there and do what we need to do and not worry about their silly threats.

00:16:16.000 Because who is ultimately in charge?

00:16:19.000 And I have to admit that, you know, not being fearful was key to my neurosurgical career as well.

00:16:36.000 You know, there are many people in my field who wouldn't do things because they were afraid.

00:16:43.000 And I remember there was one young man who had a disease called van Hippel-Lindau, where you develop these very vascular tumors throughout the nervous system.

00:16:54.000 And he had developed one right in the palms, in the brain stem.

00:16:59.000 A very delicate, inoperable area.

00:17:02.000 And none of the adult neurosurgeons would touch him.

00:17:06.000 Unfortunately for me, his wife was a pediatric neurosurgery nurse.

00:17:13.000 And she worked on the floor where most of my patients were. 0.94

00:17:16.000 So I couldn't escape her.

00:17:18.000 And she said, she says, you're going to have to operate on my husband.

00:17:23.000 And I said, but I'm a pediatric neurosurgeon.

00:17:26.000 And she said, well he acts like a child.

00:17:32.000 And so, you know, she kept twisting my arm until I finally went to see him.

00:17:38.000 And I said, Craig, where this tumor sits, if I operate on you, there's no better than a 50-50 chance that you will survive.

00:17:51.000 You will likely die on the table.

00:17:54.000 And he said, Doc, if you don't operate on me, there's a 100% chance that I'm going to die.

00:18:01.000 I said, that sounds pretty mature.

00:18:05.000 Well, they were very faithful Christians.

00:18:10.000 And we spent a lot of time praying.

00:18:13.000 I decided to take them to the operating room.

00:18:16.000 Went down to the area of the brainstem.

00:18:18.000 A lot of new blood vessels had grown in to feed the tumor.

00:18:22.000 It was very complex, but I was, Ava, under the high-powered microscope, clear a small area on the brainstem and make a little incision and use a probe to find where the consistency was different because I would know that's where the tumor was.

00:18:40.000 Use some micro forceps, reach in and grab the capsule.

00:18:44.000 I couldn't see it.

00:18:45.000 I could just have to fill it, take another micro instrument and start teasing the tumor away from the tissue and as I was starting to see the tumor as it was starting to come out of the hole the anesthesiologist announced that the brain stem potentials had gone flat the electrical activity that shows us that there is brain activity and he said I told you you were going to kill him because

00:19:16.000 he had been very much opposed to the operation well I continued the operation and got the tumor completely out.

00:19:25.000 No brain stem activity.

00:19:29.000 And at the end of the operation, of course, he didn't wake up.

00:19:33.000 Went back to the ICU with full life support.

00:19:36.000 A lot of prayers that night.

00:19:38.000 But when I came in in the morning, he was extubated, sitting up in the bed, telling jokes.

00:19:45.000 Would have not have done that if I had not felt confident that God was behind me.

00:20:03.000 I wouldn't have done that for a lot of things that I did, knowing that God is there.

00:20:09.000 And we have to recognize, no matter how grim things look in our society, He is there.

00:20:17.000 And if He was willing to save Sodom and Gomorrah for ten people, We got this. 0.67

00:20:23.000 We got this.

00:20:24.000 We don't have to worry about that at all.

00:20:30.000 So, Dr.

00:20:31.000 Carson, there are so many issues facing the country right now, and you detailed it perfectly.

00:20:37.000 The border is one of the biggest ones.

00:20:39.000 And we're here in a border state, as I mentioned, 320,000 missing kids.

00:20:44.000 I just want you guys to understand that. 0.96

00:20:46.000 320,000 missing children in just the last four years that are now prostitutes and being used as sex slaves for the cartel. 0.82

00:20:56.000 Just so you understand that the drug cartels... 0.93

00:20:59.000 They went from selling drugs, they still do that, to selling human beings.

00:21:03.000 They get $10,000 a head per person.

00:21:07.000 So we talk a lot about slavery in this country as if it stopped.

00:21:14.000 Slavery is alive and well.

00:21:15.000 And just go down to Yuma and I can show you the slave trade.

00:21:18.000 In fact, there's an amazing new documentary that James O'Keefe has that's coming out called Line in the Sand.

00:21:24.000 It's amazing.

00:21:25.000 You guys should see it.

00:21:26.000 It's so chilling where...

00:21:29.000 These Border Patrol agents, they are now blowing the whistle, saying that they are told by their superiors, so Mayorkas and Kamala Harris, to get as many kids in the country as possible with people that are not their parents, that they have no idea who these people are.

00:21:43.000 And these are unaccompanied minors that then just get thrown to a pimp, and this 13-year-old then just goes and is a sex slave for the rest of their life.

00:21:52.000 And our government is co-sponsoring and facilitating it. 0.83

00:21:56.000 And the media could not care less.

00:21:58.000 Like, the media does not care about this at all.

00:22:01.000 And this is not even talking about the gang problems with the trend of Warga or the Haitian problem in Springfield.

00:22:08.000 That's all separate.

00:22:09.000 This is just the children part of it.

00:22:11.000 Dr.

00:22:12.000 Carson, in the scriptures, it is repeated about what happens to a society or a people or individuals that mistreat children.

00:22:20.000 Your thoughts on the horror of what's happening on the southern border?

00:22:24.000 Well, I hope some of you saw the movie, The Sound of Freedom.

00:22:29.000 There were many attempts to suppress that movie for strange reasons.

00:22:38.000 But...

00:22:39.000 But, you know, Jesus said, Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for if such is the kingdom of heaven.

00:22:48.000 And that for anyone who led children astray, it would be better for a millstone to be placed around their neck and been thrown into the depths of the sea.

00:22:59.000 That tells you how the Lord feels about children and about protecting those children.

00:23:06.000 And you think about a young child.

00:23:10.000 Think about fertilization when it occurs.

00:23:15.000 And you've got a female gamete, 23 chromosomes, a male gamete, 23 chromosomes.

00:23:22.000 Then fertilization occurs and you've got a zygote with 46 chromosomes.

00:23:28.000 A complete genetic map for a new person.

00:23:32.000 Not part of the mother, not part of the father.

00:23:35.000 A new human being.

00:23:38.000 And that brain starts developing immediately.

00:23:42.000 Millions of neurons every day Later on, billions of neurons a day and interconnections.

00:23:50.000 When a baby is born, that brain is still developing at a terrific rate, which is why newborn babies sleep 20 to 22 hours a day.

00:24:00.000 The brain continues to develop right into your mid-20s.

00:24:04.000 Some people, it never develops.

00:24:07.000 But on average, that is the case.

00:24:13.000 Now, think about the implications of what I just said.

00:24:16.000 In our school systems and in other locations, you have adults telling 9, 10, 11, 12, 13-year-old kids with non-developed brains that they may not be a girl or a boy.

00:24:34.000 Think about that.

00:24:36.000 Isn't that the reason that God gives children Children, parents to protect them when they're vulnerable like that.

00:24:44.000 It is nothing short of child abuse that we're going with.

00:24:52.000 And we have a responsibility to speak up for those children to do what we can.

00:24:59.000 And I hope that many of you will think seriously about getting involved in the legislative process Maybe as state representatives.

00:25:11.000 As school board people.

00:25:13.000 To make sure that these things don't happen.

00:25:16.000 Because it's not just not voting.

00:25:19.000 It's not getting involved that is hurting us.

00:25:23.000 We need to be leaders in these areas.

00:25:26.000 We need to wield power in these areas.

00:25:29.000 And you're told from the time that you're a little child...

00:25:35.000 That there are two things you should never talk about in public.

00:25:39.000 Religion and politics.

00:25:41.000 Those are the exact things we need to be talking about because that's where the attack is coming from.

00:25:52.000 And now is the perfect time because, you know, there's an election coming up.

00:25:59.000 I'm a 501c3 so I can't tell you who to vote for.

00:26:03.000 I can.

00:26:07.000 But I can tell you, it's pretty clear that our country is moving in the wrong direction.

00:26:17.000 And you look at how our families are being dismantled and not forming.

00:26:23.000 You know, people are not getting married.

00:26:27.000 Or they're getting married late.

00:26:29.000 Women are not bearing children. 1.00

00:26:32.000 We're down to 1.6 births per woman. 1.00

00:26:36.000 It takes 2.1 to maintain the population.

00:26:40.000 We're dwindling away.

00:26:43.000 And the families are where the values are passed through.

00:26:47.000 So if children are not getting appropriate counseling from their parents and guidance from their parents, they're going to get it from somewhere else.

00:26:58.000 And this is what you're seeing on these college campuses with these kids running around, you know, proclaiming Hamas as the victim when they're the ones who destroyed the lives of 1,400 Israelis on October the 7th about a year ago.

00:27:18.000 But it's because they don't actually know the history of what's going on.

00:27:24.000 They don't know about the Holocaust anymore.

00:27:26.000 They don't know about hatred.

00:27:28.000 They don't know anything about Jacob and Esau and Ishmael and Isaac or any of the history of all the things that have been going on.

00:27:38.000 And as a result of that, they become easily manipulated.

00:27:42.000 One of the things that Marxists do is they dumb down the population.

00:27:48.000 They always do that first so that you can gaslight people.

00:27:54.000 And that's exactly what's happening in our society today.

00:27:58.000 You see those man on the street interviews, and they ask them the simplest questions, and they have no idea. 1.00

00:28:04.000 It must hurt to be that stupid. 1.00

00:28:06.000 But the fact of the matter is, that has to be done for you to say things like, the border is secure, with millions of people coming across, some of whom are terrorists, by the way. 1.00

00:28:23.000 And it is only the grace of God that is saving us right now, because we've got a lot of them in here right now.

00:28:33.000 And we have to pray that God will honor His faithful and save our country, but also to give us some real leadership.

00:28:49.000 Amen.

00:28:51.000 Amen.

00:28:51.000 Let's do some questions, guys.

00:28:53.000 If you want to start lining up for questions, I want to remind you two things.

00:28:57.000 Please support Dr.

00:28:58.000 Ben Carson's nonprofit, the American Cornerstone Institute.

00:29:02.000 Very important.

00:29:03.000 And secondly, I'm going to keep on challenging you throughout the night to, after we're done, spend an extra five minutes before you run to your car and go to those tables and find out how you can make a difference this election.

00:29:15.000 Even if it's two votes, three votes, five votes, ten votes, our team is ready, willing, and able to put you to work.

00:29:23.000 Okay, are we prepared on either side?

00:29:26.000 Yeah, let's start.

00:29:27.000 This side's a little light, so we can start moving there, but let's start here with the Let's Go Brandon t-shirt.

00:29:32.000 Actually, we'll start with the other gentleman.

00:29:34.000 Then we'll get to the swing voter with the Let's Go Brandon shirt.

00:29:38.000 Yeah, undecided.

00:29:40.000 All right, yeah, we'll start on this side.

00:29:42.000 Hi, I'm George Wood.

00:29:44.000 I want to know if we can do something more than we're doing to show that Kamala Harris' rollout is not the person that she really is.

00:29:56.000 There have been so many people that have been leaving her staff as Vice President that may have also been happening when she was Attorney General.

00:30:04.000 We need to have someone come forward and tell us what it's really like to work and be around Kamala Harris.

00:30:13.000 Well, that's a good question.

00:30:15.000 You know, here's where common sense comes into play.

00:30:20.000 Kamala Harris was the most left-wing senator in the Senate. 0.99

00:30:27.000 And look at what she did when she was in San Francisco as the DA. Destroyed that place. 1.00

00:30:35.000 What did she do in California as the Attorney General? 0.99

00:30:38.000 Destroyed that place.

00:30:40.000 And what would she do as president? 0.98

00:30:43.000 Destroy the whole country.

00:30:44.000 The pattern has already been set.

00:30:47.000 But the reason that you know that she has really not moved off of those far left-wing philosophies that she has is that her left base is not mad at her.

00:30:58.000 If they really thought she had moved off, they would be piping mad, and they're not.

00:31:03.000 So that tells you exactly what you need to know.

00:31:06.000 It's a very smart point.

00:31:07.000 They know that it's all just rhetoric to try to get political power.

00:31:11.000 If she wins, there will be 30 million new illegal people in the country in two years. 0.98

00:31:16.000 They will all get amnesty.

00:31:18.000 She will pack the U.S. Supreme Court. 1.00

00:31:20.000 She will add D.C. and Puerto Rico as states, and we will never win an election again. 0.99

00:31:25.000 Besides that, everything will be great.

00:31:26.000 Yes.

00:31:29.000 Dr.

00:31:30.000 Carson, I want to...

00:31:31.000 Thank you for your character.

00:31:34.000 I so admire you.

00:31:35.000 Thank you very much for being here.

00:31:37.000 Thank you.

00:31:38.000 I've been trying to weaponize people's voices with the greatest war in the covenant because I believe we're at war between Satan's marionettes and God's warriors.

00:31:53.000 And there's no middle ground.

00:31:55.000 Not to act is to act.

00:31:57.000 Not to speak is to speak.

00:31:59.000 Why is the greatest war in the covenant not being talked about?

00:32:03.000 It has God all over it, and you would think that that would be front and center.

00:32:07.000 Well, I think more people are starting to talk about it, particularly more pastors.

00:32:13.000 We were on a call today with thousands, probably tens of thousands of pastors, along with President Trump and Paula White, talking about How do we disseminate this information?

00:32:30.000 How do we get it out there?

00:32:32.000 It's going to require a lot of effort.

00:32:35.000 We've only got 34 more days to do it.

00:32:38.000 But if everybody uses their sphere of influence in an appropriate way, I think we can make the difference.

00:32:45.000 When you're looking at states where the difference between winning and losing is 5, 10, 15, 20,000 votes, that's not a lot of votes in a state.

00:33:00.000 And if we can get organizations like this one, if everybody here makes it their goal not only to vote, but to get everybody in their sphere of influence to vote the right way, we're going to be just fine.

00:33:16.000 Bob Baker, Dr. Carlson.

00:33:24.000 Carson.

00:33:25.000 When you ran for president, I was living in California.

00:33:28.000 I went up to a rally in Sacramento for you, and I was so impressed I volunteered to be your campaign manager for Ventura County in California.

00:33:37.000 Thank you.

00:33:41.000 Dr.

00:33:42.000 Carson, why isn't our side when we have debates on abortion?

00:33:46.000 It's always about the woman's body. 1.00

00:33:49.000 Why aren't we stressing the baby, the baby that's inside the mother?

00:33:54.000 Why aren't we talking about, you mentioned the anesthesia, you know, and that those babies are suffering tremendously in their womb.

00:34:02.000 Why aren't we talking about them, doctor?

00:34:04.000 Well, that's a very good question because have you noticed that when somebody murders...

00:34:10.000 A pregnant woman, they get two counts of murder. 0.96

00:34:13.000 But when they just murdered a baby, they're upholding women's rights. 1.00

00:34:17.000 You know, that doesn't make a lot of sense.

00:34:19.000 We need to start talking about how these things don't make sense.

00:34:23.000 And, you know, a relationship that is one of the most sacred relationships on earth, that of the mother and child, should not be made into one of animosity, where one is inconvenient.

00:34:39.000 And one of the things that we have to recognize as a society is that we have to provide alternatives.

00:34:49.000 We have to make adoption much easier and less expensive.

00:34:55.000 We have to have support mechanisms.

00:35:02.000 And we need to start teaching our young people A word that they don't know anymore.

00:35:09.000 It's called abstinence.

00:35:15.000 One other thing I might just mention about abortion and being pro-life.

00:35:25.000 We have people who think life begins at conception.

00:35:31.000 I'm one of them.

00:35:33.000 We have people who believe it starts at six weeks when there's a heartbeat.

00:35:39.000 Some who think it starts at 15 weeks when there's sensation.

00:35:45.000 It doesn't matter which one of those groups you belong to.

00:35:49.000 We're all under the same pro-life umbrella and we need to stop fighting each other and recognizing that we're moving toward a society that honors life.

00:36:00.000 That's really the key.

00:36:02.000 And we're going to do much better with conversion of people than we are going to do with coercion of people.

00:36:14.000 Just teach them what is going on and help them understand that.

00:36:18.000 That's why so many young people are pro-life because they've seen Due to technology, what is actually in that uterus.

00:36:27.000 And when you see those little arms and legs and that cute little face and that nose and lips, it's really hard to say that that's a meaningless bunch of cells.

00:36:36.000 Hi, I saw a post from Fox News this last week that said men pour into church pews and flip the female trend on faith for the first time in modern American history.

00:36:53.000 Why do you think men are gravitating to the faith so much more than women and do you see this as a hope for America's future?

00:37:01.000 I'm gonna give that one to Charlie.

00:37:06.000 Yeah, I saw the same article, actually.

00:37:09.000 I wanted to do a podcast episode on it, but it's been a busy news week with everything.

00:37:14.000 So look, men are the most conservative that they've been in 50 years.

00:37:17.000 They're also the most religious they've been in 50 years, which is amazing.

00:37:24.000 Women are the most liberal they've been in 50 years and the least religious they've been in 50 years. 1.00

00:37:29.000 And let me tell you why. 0.99

00:37:31.000 The culture that women are ingesting is complete poison. 1.00

00:37:35.000 From the pop artists, yes, like Taylor Swift and many others that glorify a non-married, single, career-driven, boss-babe culture that is all about body sovereignty and autonomy, not about morals or objective truth.

00:37:52.000 And the screed for that worldview is abortion. 0.89

00:37:55.000 That abortion is the way that they tell the world that I'm in charge and you are not and that I have my own sovereignty.

00:38:03.000 And nothing buttresses up against that worldview more than religion.

00:38:07.000 Because by definition, when you enter a church, you actually aren't the boss of your own life.

00:38:13.000 That there's a God and you aren't Him.

00:38:15.000 And you should bow at the cross that Jesus died for you.

00:38:18.000 And so that worldview comes in just complete contradiction to any person, but especially a young lady that is being told the entire life that you're the boss of your own life.

00:38:30.000 You don't need support.

00:38:31.000 You don't need a man. 0.89

00:38:33.000 You should just freeze your eggs, get on hormonal birth control. 0.57

00:38:36.000 And I'm not here to judge anyone that does those things, but we can agree That the culture is very very sick right now for young ladies.

00:38:44.000 They're the least married, most depressed, most suicidal, most anxious generation in history.

00:38:50.000 Now young men are the exact opposite.

00:38:51.000 They're suffering, but they're ingesting culture that is a lot different.

00:38:56.000 They're ingesting culture that is Jordan Peterson.

00:38:59.000 Or Ben Shapiro.

00:39:01.000 Or Matt Walsh.

00:39:02.000 Or the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:39:03.000 Or any one of the, you know, where it's a different perspective, which is masculinity is good.

00:39:10.000 God built a world that has distinctions.

00:39:13.000 And these distinctions are male and female and good and evil.

00:39:17.000 Man and nature and holy and profane.

00:39:20.000 And the way that you fit into those distinctions is a hierarchy.

00:39:24.000 You're above the animals but below God.

00:39:26.000 So you better get right with God because you aren't God.

00:39:29.000 And so the through line of masculine content, and you see this with the rise of so many of these people, for example, the conversion of Russell Brand and people like that that are becoming more religious in their approach is that It leads you eventually to the cross.

00:39:47.000 Where the cultural content that young ladies are putting in their life leads you further and further away from the cross. 0.91

00:39:54.000 And so you see this in politics and religion.

00:39:58.000 And so it's a great thing long term.

00:40:00.000 So if you were to say, Charlie, would you rather have young women be religious or young men?

00:40:05.000 It's difficult, but probably young men because eventually once the young ladies get married, hopefully the men will lead them towards Christ.

00:40:12.000 If they get married though, and that's the tragedy, is that young ladies are increasingly saying no to marriage, they're increasingly saying no to children, and it's a toxin. 0.99

00:40:22.000 And we need better godly female role models that can be the female Jordan Petersons. 1.00

00:40:29.000 That can lay out a deep and biblical and exciting and thoughtful philosophical worldview that a young woman that is currently, quite honestly, drowning in this sea of postmodernism can attach to.

00:40:47.000 And I see it on these campuses where...

00:40:50.000 We have a ton of support.

00:40:51.000 By the way, we're at Grand Canyon University today.

00:40:53.000 We registered 750 new voters for Trump today.

00:40:57.000 Great work, guys.

00:40:58.000 It was really great.

00:40:58.000 Yeah, that's right.

00:41:00.000 So I don't want to, you know, paint with too broad of a brush, but we have never seen young men this conservative and young ladies this liberal.

00:41:08.000 We've never seen this divide before.

00:41:10.000 And it makes sense.

00:41:11.000 And the church, this final thing I'll say is this, is the church needs to stop feminizing its approach. 0.56

00:41:17.000 And that doesn't mean, I'm not saying that women can't be involved in ministry.

00:41:19.000 I'm not saying that.

00:41:20.000 Feminizing your approach is watering down the truths of the gospel to make the emotionality and to make it seem as if you can't say something blunt that is true because you're worried about offending somebody else.

00:41:33.000 I love women, of course, and I love all people, but women are far less likely to say something that might offend others because they are more agreeable because God made women more agreeable.

00:41:45.000 Men are more likely to say something Blunt and not Angel.

00:41:49.000 I know, Angel, you're the exception for that.

00:41:50.000 No, I'm kidding.

00:41:51.000 No.

00:41:52.000 Or Aubrey.

00:41:53.000 But generally, and we see this, a man is more likely to say something that might offend a group and be an outlier where a young woman is far less likely because they want to fit in.

00:42:05.000 This is why women are more likely to be part of social contagions, more likely to be trans, more likely to be, you know, cut themselves, more likely to be goth, more likely to be part of suicide cults, so on and so forth, because young ladies are more agreeable Towards the kind of hive-mindedness where young men are not. 0.92

00:42:20.000 Again, this is just nature.

00:42:21.000 This is just the way that God made us.

00:42:21.000 You can disagree with me.

00:42:23.000 So what is the solution?

00:42:24.000 The solution is the church needs to get back to preaching word of God as it is written, not trying to put it through a worldly secular lens.

00:42:32.000 You know, that might explain that might explain why women don't seem to be upset about men playing in women's sports. 0.85

00:42:45.000 That is exactly right.

00:42:47.000 That is such a profound point, which is we have heard forever.

00:42:50.000 Thank you for bringing that up.

00:42:51.000 Where are the feminists? 1.00

00:42:52.000 Where are the feminists? 1.00

00:42:53.000 If you study the second and third wave feminism, transgenderism is the logical out point of feminism. 0.99

00:42:59.000 It was never about women's rights.

00:43:01.000 It was about we're okay with anyone who sympathizes with the struggle of a woman.

00:43:09.000 That was always the Betty Friedan kind of creed.

00:43:13.000 If you go back to the feminine mystique, you go back to the original complaints of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, they're okay with the trans thing because they say, oh, they want to be like us. 0.62

00:43:23.000 That's cool.

00:43:23.000 Anyone can be part of the woman club.

00:43:26.000 When again, that is against biological reality, but also, by definition, they're also afraid of the fight and the ostracization that opposing the trans jihadis bring.

00:43:39.000 So if you stand up against a trans zealot...

00:43:43.000 By definition, you are being disagreeable in this culture, right?

00:43:47.000 You are inviting cancellation, ostracization.

00:43:50.000 You're inviting a fight.

00:43:52.000 That's why men are the ones that are more likely to stand up against the trans part of it. 0.98

00:43:57.000 That's why there's not a lot of Riley Gaines out there.

00:44:00.000 There's not a lot of people saying, because they say, well, I don't want to be, you know, an outcast.

00:44:05.000 And so it's perfectly put, Dr.

00:44:07.000 Carson.

00:44:07.000 And that is why I've said all along, it should be up for the dads of these daughters to fight on behalf of their daughters to make sure that men are not in their sports.

00:44:20.000 Good evening.

00:44:21.000 Thank you so much.

00:44:22.000 Hey, Charlie.

00:44:24.000 Dr.

00:44:24.000 Carson, I just want to say I'm so thrilled that you did not listen to the people that tried to discourage you from publishing your book, The Perilous Fight.

00:44:35.000 Like you, I did not grow up in a traditional nuclear family.

00:44:39.000 Our parents divorced when we were young.

00:44:41.000 And like you, I'm also a huge advocate.

00:44:44.000 For the traditional family.

00:44:45.000 My question tonight is about government agencies and the data that they put out.

00:44:52.000 So Charlie, on your podcast recently, you said, it's not a quote, but you said, we can't trust the FBI, the CDC, the DOJ, Department of Education, Secret Service.

00:45:04.000 You also said we can't trust Harvard.

00:45:07.000 So if we can't trust these government agencies, and I don't, Then why should I trust the data that they put out when they say that 70% of children born in this country that look like me are born into a home without a father, and more than 50% of the violent crime in this country is committed by people that look like me?

00:45:28.000 Why should I trust that data?

00:45:30.000 I'll start with it.

00:45:33.000 You should always verify your source's The CDC, certainly our governmental health agencies, have done...

00:45:53.000 Almost irreparable damage to their reputations over the COVID crisis.

00:45:59.000 And it's going to take a long time to repair that.

00:46:02.000 But the deep state is very deep and it traverses multiple agencies.

00:46:11.000 And that's the reason that they're so afraid of a particular candidate.

00:46:17.000 Because he recognizes that they need to be cleaned out.

00:46:22.000 And that's why they'd be willing to do virtually anything to make sure that he does not become president.

00:46:29.000 It's a great question.

00:46:31.000 So part of the problem with these agencies is the data.

00:46:35.000 It's not everything.

00:46:36.000 Some of the data that they publish is legit.

00:46:39.000 For example, really hard to falsify murder statistics.

00:46:43.000 You've got a dead body.

00:46:44.000 It's either dead or not.

00:46:45.000 And a lot of that is locally sourced.

00:46:48.000 Really hard to falsify annual mortality rates.

00:46:54.000 Super easy to falsify death from COVID. Right?

00:46:59.000 Was it from COVID or with COVID? Totally, right?

00:47:02.000 So that's totally, that's very legit.

00:47:05.000 From the crime statistics, a lot of that is locally sourced.

00:47:08.000 So it's state and local and county crime statistics that are then set up to the FBI. So that's usually more accurate and it's been third or four-party checked.

00:47:18.000 But the biggest problem with the institutions is less about the data and it's more about what they do with the data.

00:47:24.000 So let me give you an example.

00:47:26.000 With COVID, Within 30 days, we knew what the COVID death rate was for people that did not have pre-existing conditions, that were not chronically overweight, and were under the age of 50.

00:47:38.000 We knew that data.

00:47:39.000 And the CDC knew it, and you knew it, yet they still decided to lock down the entire country and mask your kid and to make you wear a mask when you shower and shut down all the schools, all that stuff.

00:47:51.000 And so there's two reasons for this.

00:47:54.000 It's less about the data.

00:47:55.000 It's more about, number one, the way our institutions are constituted, because we want strong institutions, is that it's a reverse meritocracy, that you ascend by failure, not by excellence, that Anthony Fauci climbed the ladders of NIH by failing and covering up on scandals his entire career.

00:48:13.000 Read Bobby Kennedy's book, by the way, The Real Anthony Fauci.

00:48:16.000 You'll see.

00:48:17.000 And not by having great ideas, but instead being a creature and an organism of Washington.

00:48:22.000 So it's the way that we choose personnel.

00:48:25.000 And then number two, the culture of our government agencies is far more about status quo protection and elite capture than it is about serving the interests of the American people.

00:48:36.000 So the CDC is far more interested in making sure that Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson& Johnson are never held accountable for vaccine injuries.

00:48:45.000 Than they are actually trying to promote the public health.

00:48:49.000 And the best person on this, again, is Bobby Kennedy.

00:48:51.000 So a final example, I could talk about this all day long, is the FDA. So the FDA will, we all agree on the data.

00:48:58.000 You go to the FDA, they will say, okay, half of all kids are chronically obese.

00:49:02.000 Half.

00:49:04.000 Okay, 50% of our kids are obese.

00:49:06.000 Japan, 3% of their kids are obese.

00:49:08.000 So what is the FDA's solution?

00:49:10.000 The FDA's solution is not more activity or to change the food guidelines or to go after the poison and pesticides in our food.

00:49:17.000 Their solution is taxpayer-funded Ozembic for kids.

00:49:21.000 Not a joke.

00:49:22.000 So we agree on the data.

00:49:24.000 Half our kids are obese.

00:49:25.000 The FDA says what we need is we need taxpayer-funded Medicaid for kids to inject themselves on a permanent injection for the rest of their life.

00:49:34.000 Only if you are a proxy or a employee of a Danish drug company could you believe something as insane as that, right?

00:49:43.000 So I don't trust the institutions for those reasons.

00:49:45.000 Some of the data I do trust, but it's more what they do with the data that I think is the biggest problem.

00:49:50.000 Great question.

00:49:50.000 Thank you.

00:49:54.000 Hello, Dr.

00:49:54.000 Carson and Mr.

00:49:56.000 Kirk.

00:49:56.000 My name is Ray Ray.

00:49:57.000 I'm a student at GCU. So one, thank you so much for coming today.

00:50:00.000 We really appreciate that.

00:50:02.000 My question today is, I got a lot of friends at GCU that frankly believe their vote doesn't matter.

00:50:08.000 And the stakes this election, you know, they say it every year that the stakes, this is the biggest election ever held.

00:50:14.000 And this one, that might be very true for us.

00:50:17.000 So how can I lovingly convince them That their vote does matter and it actually is going to count towards something and just, you know, get involved with politics without, you know, being super corrupt.

00:50:30.000 I would suggest you have them look up the congressional record for January the 10th, 1963, in which Congressman Herlong of Florida read in the 45 goals of communism in America and see how many of them are true in which Congressman Herlong of Florida read in the 45 goals of communism in America and see how many of them are true

00:50:56.000 And the only way that we can stop it is exercising the power of the vote, which our founding fathers left in the hands of we the people, knowing that one day we would reach this stage, that there might be a time when government could not be trusted, that there might be a time when government could not be trusted, but that the people That's the only way.

00:51:19.000 And you've got to convince them of that.

00:51:21.000 Yeah, so are these people that think that their vote is going to be stolen or is that...

00:51:26.000 Yeah, I think so.

00:51:28.000 I think they also think that they frankly just don't matter and there's too many other opinions that differ from them.

00:51:34.000 Okay, so, yeah, again, this is, I don't know the specific details of this case.

00:51:40.000 I gotta be honest, though, of all the objections that I hear in my career, someone telling me that they don't have four minutes to fill out a piece of paper to save the country is the one where I have, like, no patience, okay?

00:51:50.000 Okay.

00:51:51.000 These people will wait in a 45 minute TSA line to go on vacation in Orlando and they won't fill out a piece of paper that is 4 minutes so that we can save the civilization.

00:52:01.000 I have no patience for that whatsoever and I honestly believe...

00:52:05.000 And I know you'll agree with this.

00:52:07.000 I think it's an unclean spirit from the pit of hell to hypnotize us to believe that it's somehow a big waste of time to fill out a piece of paper.

00:52:17.000 No, it's your duty to do that.

00:52:18.000 That's the minimum obligation in a free society.

00:52:22.000 Like, very base minimum.

00:52:24.000 Minimum.

00:52:26.000 So, yeah, I'm awfully dismissive of it because we're losing our society largely because of attitudes like that.

00:52:34.000 Okay, we'll take a couple more.

00:52:36.000 Yes, yes, sir.

00:52:37.000 Welcome, Dr.

00:52:38.000 Carson.

00:52:39.000 Good to see you, Charlie.

00:52:40.000 Charlie, I want you to know that my family and I keep you and your family lifted up, and we pray for you all the time.

00:52:47.000 My question is actually for both of you, but mostly to Charlie.

00:52:50.000 My question tonight is about self-control.

00:52:53.000 Charlie, I saw you on Charlie vs.

00:52:56.000 25 Woke Students.

00:52:58.000 Very entertaining.

00:53:00.000 Everyone should see it.

00:53:01.000 You were surrounded.

00:53:02.000 There was one student in particular who said horrific things about your family, and it was actually difficult for my wife to watch.

00:53:10.000 How did you exercise self-control in that moment?

00:53:13.000 If she had said these things to me, I fear the outcome would have been different.

00:53:18.000 I actually, I have a good humor about it.

00:53:21.000 First of all, this is where my faith comes in.

00:53:24.000 Number one, that's a very broken individual who obviously does not know the Lord, who basically, like, wished death upon my family.

00:53:31.000 It's really, I don't know, you watch it, it's hard to watch.

00:53:34.000 Wishing the most awful things.

00:53:36.000 And it's very clear she doesn't have Jesus in her life.

00:53:38.000 And so, I don't look at her as an obstacle, but as an opportunity, and I hope that Christ comes into her life, because that's no way that someone should talk, right?

00:53:47.000 But you asked the question, and I think Dr.

00:53:50.000 Carson would agree, because he has much better self-control than I do.

00:53:53.000 Way better.

00:53:54.000 I mean, this guy's a brain surgeon that saved people's lives, right?

00:53:57.000 I would be all over the place, right?

00:53:59.000 It would not be good.

00:54:00.000 I don't have self-control.

00:54:03.000 It's a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

00:54:05.000 And so when you invite the Holy Spirit in your life, you get things that your flesh does not have.

00:54:11.000 I could tell you what my flesh wanted to do in that moment, but we are more than flesh when we invite the Spirit into us.

00:54:18.000 You become, as in Romans 12, 2, it says, do not conform to the ways of this world, but instead be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

00:54:26.000 And I like to believe that when I encounter some of these very hostile, aggressive college students, That it's not my flesh, but it's the Holy Spirit that is transforming me into a much better, hopefully holier version of myself.

00:54:43.000 Because my flesh would love to kind of remark in that instance.

00:54:46.000 But we all have things we need to work on.

00:54:50.000 Self-control has definitely been mine.

00:54:52.000 And praise God, the last 12 years, the Holy Spirit's been at great work on me in that regard.

00:55:00.000 Two more.

00:55:01.000 Yeah, just two more here.

00:55:02.000 Really quick.

00:55:02.000 Yes, ma'am.

00:55:04.000 Hi Charlie.

00:55:05.000 I'm also from GCU. I was on the event committee getting people filling out ballots.

00:55:13.000 You probably saw me.

00:55:14.000 I'm in your video.

00:55:15.000 Can I pause just really quick again?

00:55:16.000 We registered 750 new voters for Donald Trump today at GCU. And you did a great job.

00:55:23.000 What's your name again?

00:55:24.000 Megan.

00:55:25.000 Megan.

00:55:25.000 Give it up for Megan.

00:55:26.000 She was working her tail off today. 0.70

00:55:27.000 She did great.

00:55:31.000 Me and a bunch of other people that I know some of them are here somewhere that I can't find but I know they're here.

00:55:36.000 My question for you is I'm a senior graduate in college in April and I know how important it is to speak out about this election and our politics but there's a part of me that worries because I'm trying to find a job after I graduate and there's so many companies that will discriminate against people like me for Being vocal about my beliefs, especially in the field that I'm in, which is cybersecurity, which is very woke.

00:56:04.000 So what's your advice on kind of facing persecution in the job market for your beliefs?

00:56:11.000 Yeah, I would say if they're going to persecute you for your beliefs, you don't want to work for them anyway.

00:56:16.000 I will say this.

00:56:23.000 You are right.

00:56:24.000 The big cybersecurity companies are terrible.

00:56:28.000 CrowdStrike being one of them.

00:56:30.000 I think I got that right.

00:56:31.000 I think they're actually headquartered here, actually.

00:56:34.000 Or they were.

00:56:34.000 Or their CEO lives here or something.

00:56:36.000 That was the Hillary Clinton company.

00:56:38.000 It's legit.

00:56:40.000 Here's my piece of advice.

00:56:42.000 It is almost always the right decision to prioritize truth above convenience.

00:56:48.000 And the bridge that makes that possible is courage.

00:56:51.000 And you get courage from Christ.

00:56:53.000 It won't be easy and it won't be comfortable, but we as Christians are not called to comfort.

00:56:57.000 We're called to something greater.

00:56:59.000 So I'm not going to sugarcoat it.

00:57:01.000 It might be difficult, but that is a early test in your life of what you believe and why you believe it.

00:57:08.000 Because if you take the job at, you know, CrowdStrike or some cybersecurity company, and you have to all of a sudden attend transgender trainings... 1.00

00:57:19.000 And do mandatory white privilege seminars. 0.97

00:57:21.000 And that will torture your soul.

00:57:24.000 And no six-figure salary is worth that.

00:57:28.000 I've had two internships at Cisco Systems.

00:57:31.000 I had to do all that at both.

00:57:33.000 So, I understand.

00:57:34.000 I will say, there is a growing market thanks to Elon Musk.

00:57:38.000 You can go work for Starlink, by the way.

00:57:40.000 I think that would be great.

00:57:42.000 There is a growing world of non-woke tech people, and I think you're going to find a great career.

00:57:49.000 I'm confident of that.

00:57:50.000 Thank you.

00:57:51.000 Okay, final question here.

00:57:53.000 Final question.

00:57:56.000 Dr.

00:57:56.000 Carson, I'm so grateful to be able to ask you this question.

00:57:59.000 It's come to my attention recently that pregnant women, young women, are using marijuana while they're pregnant for morning sickness or whatever reason.

00:58:13.000 In your professional opinion and what you know about the neurology and the development, how does marijuana affect the fetus?

00:58:21.000 Well, there's not a tremendous amount of research on what it does to the fetus, but there is a growing body of evidence that it It's very deleterious for the developed brain.

00:58:34.000 And people have flashbacks.

00:58:37.000 People have all kinds of things that destroy their lives.

00:58:42.000 I was talking to a young man today at another setting who was talking about how marijuana had destroyed his life.

00:58:52.000 And how he was so uncomfortable with the increasing attempts to legalize these substances.

00:59:00.000 But virtually everything that goes into the bloodstream of a pregnant woman gets to some degree to the baby. 0.88

00:59:10.000 It is attenuated by the straining system that exists in the placenta, but they can't completely eliminate all the harm that goes there.

00:59:21.000 So I would strongly advise any pregnant woman to stay far, far away from these deleterious drugs.

00:59:30.000 Well, Dr. Carlson.

00:59:36.000 Carson, I know I speak for everyone here.

00:59:38.000 Thank you for your service to our country.

00:59:39.000 Thank you for your courage.

00:59:41.000 Thank you for your clarity.

00:59:42.000 And thank you for your boldness.

00:59:45.000 You are one of our greatest living Americans.

00:59:48.000 Give it up for Dr.

00:59:49.000 Carson.

00:59:50.000 And please get involved, everybody.

00:59:52.000 We need you guys.

00:59:53.000 Chase ballots.

00:59:54.000 Thank you.
