00:01:14.000 Welcome back, everybody.
00:01:15.000 We have two very special guests here in the beautiful state of Arizona, Carrie Lake and Blake Masters, otherwise known as Blake and Lake.
00:01:22.000 I love it.
00:01:23.000 It's too good.
00:01:24.000 It rhymes.
00:01:24.000 I mean, Carrie and Blake, welcome back.
00:01:26.000 Thanks for having us.
00:01:27.000 It's good to be here.
00:01:28.000 Your studio is gorgeous.
00:01:29.000 Thank you.
00:01:29.000 Thank you.
00:01:30.000 And great job last night.
00:01:31.000 Carrie, let's start with you.
00:01:32.000 Your initial reaction, pretty packed crowd.
00:01:34.000 Amazing, right?
00:01:35.000 You know, for polling that to get, leave it to turning point to be able to pull a crowd like that together.
00:01:40.000 I loved it because it was a lot of young people.
00:01:42.000 I think there were new people to politics.
00:01:44.000 And it's so exciting to see what's happening in this country as people step forward and say, we have to get involved.
00:01:50.000 We don't have a choice to sit on the sidelines anymore.
00:01:52.000 Right crowd.
00:01:53.000 Our data showed that half of the attendees were either independents or were low-propensity voters, which was, I could tell in the audience, you know, when I was giving, let's just say, a rather enthusiastic speech, and, you know, three-fourths of the audience was like standing ovations.
00:02:10.000 The other ones were like applauding, but they weren't really sure what to make of, you know, part of the remarks.
00:02:15.000 But I thought it was a good thing.
00:02:16.000 I was like, I'm glad they're there.
00:02:18.000 Blake, what was your reaction from last night?
00:02:20.000 Incredible energy.
00:02:21.000 It was electric.
00:02:23.000 The lights were so blinding on stage, you couldn't really see all the people.
00:02:26.000 I saw photos afterwards.
00:02:27.000 We had a whole conversation about how the lights were way too bright.
00:02:31.000 But then you see the photos of all the people there.
00:02:32.000 And it's standing ovations.
00:02:34.000 3,500.
00:02:35.000 And I caught Kerry's speech, and it's just every five seconds people are standing up.
00:02:38.000 And, you know, I mean, this incredible energy.
00:02:41.000 I don't want to get complacent and people talk about the red wave.
00:02:43.000 No, when I see last night, I'm just more sure than ever we're going to have a giant red wave in November.
00:02:48.000 And you know what was cool?
00:02:49.000 Usually to get a crowd like that, you have to have President Trump come into town.
00:02:53.000 And President Trump, if you're watching, we want you to come into town, please.
00:02:56.000 He's got to come soon.
00:02:57.000 But this shows you that people are just incredibly motivated right now because they know what's on the line.
00:03:03.000 So 56% of the attendees were non-traditional GOP voters, first-time voters or former Democrats.
00:03:11.000 Do you think Katie Hobbs could draw a crowd like that?
00:03:13.000 Does Mark Kelly do rallies like that?
00:03:15.000 Mark Kelly would never ever do an event like that, right?
00:03:17.000 I don't think he could.
00:03:18.000 And then, of course, they wouldn't let him, even if he could.
00:03:20.000 Yeah.
00:03:21.000 So let's talk about, I want to talk about both your races.
00:03:23.000 It's super important.
00:03:24.000 And for our national audience, I just want to emphasize this.
00:03:27.000 And we're going to do this all the way to Election Day.
00:03:29.000 If you love America, you must focus on Arizona.
00:03:32.000 There are two candidates you must support, Carrie Lake and Blake Masters.
00:03:35.000 CarrieLake.com, BlakeMasters.com.
00:03:38.000 They're going to be outspent rather significantly, but we have to close that gap.
00:03:41.000 Let's start with you, Carrie.
00:03:42.000 Your opponent is this very radical, you know, she kind of disguised herself as like this motherly librarian, but she's this super woke kind of activist.
00:03:54.000 Where is her major funding source coming from?
00:03:57.000 And just talk a little bit about that.
00:03:59.000 Well, I mean, she's got George Soros funding her, which is often scary.
00:04:04.000 And Planned Parenthood funding her, the teachers' union funding her, all the people that are working against what really matters in our lives.
00:04:12.000 And, you know, what I think is sick is that she was willing to grovel in order to get the Planned Parenthood money, in order to get their endorsement.
00:04:20.000 It really is about the money, though.
00:04:22.000 She was willing to grovel and denounce our police officers because that's what it takes to get that endorsement.
00:04:28.000 I mean, it's a disgusting endorsement, but to get that endorsement, you have to basically denounce our police.
00:04:33.000 And she was willing to do that.
00:04:34.000 Doesn't surprise me because the Democrats are the ones behind defund the police.
00:04:39.000 They've stopped talking about that because they realize it was such a bad idea.
00:04:43.000 And even the Democrats didn't want that.
00:04:46.000 But she's getting the money from the usual sources.
00:04:49.000 I will say this.
00:04:50.000 I just finished a primary race where I was outspent maybe upwards of 10 to 1.
00:04:55.000 Unheard of.
00:04:56.000 I don't think that you can buy an election right now.
00:04:58.000 I think people are too wide awake.
00:05:00.000 I totally agree with that.
00:05:02.000 Yeah, I think that it's closing.
00:05:04.000 I mean, it used to be that whoever spent more money wins.
00:05:06.000 That's not the case anymore.
00:05:08.000 Blake?
00:05:09.000 Yeah, same.
00:05:10.000 You know, my opponent, Mark Kelly, he's funded by all the same culprits that are funding Katie Hobbs and your race.
00:05:16.000 You know, it's Planned Parenthood, it's the unions, it's the teachers' unions.
00:05:19.000 Mark Kelly makes a big stink about he accepts no corporate, not a dime of corporate PAC money.
00:05:24.000 And the technicality, of course, Charlie, you know, I've talked about this.
00:05:26.000 Corporate PACs can only give $5,000.
00:05:28.000 So yeah, he says, you know, Pfizer, don't donate the $5,000, but he'll go to all the Pfizer executives and rake in the max donations.
00:05:35.000 Right.
00:05:36.000 And so he'll be well funded.
00:05:38.000 He's on TV lying about me and my positions right now.
00:05:41.000 But the Democrats have to do that.
00:05:42.000 They have to lie about us because they know their own views are so extreme and their own policy record, their failures are just so obvious to the voters.
00:05:50.000 They have to lie in order to even have a chance.
00:05:51.000 I don't think it's...
00:05:52.000 So I know both of you.
00:05:53.000 You're both people of deep faith and you give to your church and your community.
00:05:57.000 We must understand, though, the other side, they're very secular and their political giving is their tithe to their church.
00:06:04.000 Like the way that we would kind of give to our local community.
00:06:06.000 A hospital or a local Catholic church, you know, okay, give some money at Christmas.
00:06:11.000 They look at giving money to Mark Kelly as their religious crusade, as their tithe.
00:06:16.000 Yeah.
00:06:17.000 That's interesting.
00:06:17.000 I never thought of it that way.
00:06:18.000 Oh, yeah.
00:06:19.000 And they're the Act Blue machine.
00:06:21.000 That's right.
00:06:22.000 Talk about the Act Blue machine.
00:06:24.000 Both of your races are up against that.
00:06:26.000 It's, you know, I mean, the Democrats, they're pretty good at this at technology and mobilizing these small dollar donations.
00:06:33.000 They're good at funding and channeling this money where it needs to go.
00:06:36.000 So Mark Kelly, like I'm on the phone, I don't know about you.
00:06:39.000 You're probably on the phone for hours a day raising money, right?
00:06:42.000 I'm on the phone for four or five hours a day raising money.
00:06:44.000 That's important.
00:06:44.000 Mark Kelly doesn't have to lift a finger to raise a lot more money than me because Act Blue, that Democrat machine, they're pretty good at, I don't know if it's technically money laundering, but functionally, they just take it in through all these dark sources and these small dollar contributions and they funnel it to him.
00:06:58.000 And so he just gets all this money.
00:07:00.000 Tens of millions.
00:07:01.000 Tens of millions of dollars to lie on me.
00:07:03.000 He's up on TV right now, just literally lying about me and my, you know, trying to do kids.
00:07:07.000 He's coming out strong.
00:07:08.000 He's trying to end the race before it really begins.
00:07:10.000 But it doesn't work anymore.
00:07:12.000 It's like they have some advantages.
00:07:13.000 They have more money.
00:07:13.000 They'll have more TV ads.
00:07:14.000 But like you said, you can't buy an election now.
00:07:16.000 People are just so mad and they're not going to take it.
00:07:18.000 Right.
00:07:18.000 And they're realizing, I mean, you are going to have the viewers, and it's typically the older viewers who will believe the ads, but the younger people just, A, they're not watching TV as much.
00:07:28.000 And B, they're just not buying that.
00:07:31.000 I remember turning the TV on and I didn't watch much TV because I was busy during the primary campaign.
00:07:36.000 My opponent would have three ads on in a commercial break.
00:07:39.000 One after the other.
00:07:40.000 I mean, calling me the worst names.
00:07:41.000 And I'm thinking, wow, I have an advantage that I worked in in the TV market here in Arizona for 27 years.
00:07:48.000 So I was in people's homes for nearly three decades and they know me.
00:07:53.000 So when you have your opponent saying just really awful things about you, you're almost attacking, you're almost, you're almost hurting the viewer and saying, you're a bad judge of character.
00:08:04.000 You know, you're basically saying, we don't like your friend, Carrie.
00:08:08.000 And I don't think they believed what they were hearing.
00:08:11.000 So there's a lot of different issues kind of going towards your campaign.
00:08:14.000 Let's talk about the significance of Arizona, though, because if we don't do well in this November in Arizona, I mean, it could spell doom for the state.
00:08:23.000 The country.
00:08:23.000 Yeah, talk about that.
00:08:24.000 I mean, I know it sounds highly suspect because I'm running, but I think my race is the most important race in the country.
00:08:31.000 We cannot afford to lose another border state to a socialist.
00:08:36.000 Look at California.
00:08:37.000 Look what's going on in New Mexico.
00:08:40.000 We've got to hold this state and hold it tight.
00:08:42.000 And we need someone who's going to be tough on the border.
00:08:44.000 That's why I believe one of the reasons that I won the primary, I had a border plan.
00:08:48.000 I have a border plan that is going to be the most aggressive, bold border plan that this country's ever seen.
00:08:54.000 We're going to start implementing it on day one.
00:08:56.000 And we can't get a Katie Hobbs in there because she's an open borders person.
00:09:01.000 She's an open borders globalist, and she has no desire to close that border and stop the drugs from coming over.
00:09:07.000 Scares the heck out of me.
00:09:08.000 I think Arizonans are onto it, and I think they're going to vote like their lives depend on it because, frankly, our country depends on it.
00:09:15.000 And that's why we get donations from out-of-state, Charlie.
00:09:19.000 I am the governor of Arizona.
00:09:21.000 I will be the governor of Arizona, but this governorship is really almost the governor of other states.
00:09:25.000 That's a beachhead for so many other states.
00:09:27.000 Because the border problem impacts every other state.
00:09:31.000 And, you know, if you're in North Carolina, your governor might care about the border, but he can't do, he or she can't do anything about it because they're not on the border.
00:09:38.000 It's going to take the border governor of Arizona.
00:09:40.000 Yeah, I agree with that.
00:09:41.000 I mean, Katie Hobbs would be the worst governor, the worst governor, certainly, that Arizona's ever seen, probably one of the worst governors in the whole country.
00:09:48.000 And vote for Kerry Lake, donate to Kerry Lake.
00:09:51.000 My gosh, like we cannot afford Katie Hobbs, and we need you badly.
00:09:55.000 So I agree, your race is crucial.
00:09:56.000 I'm biased.
00:09:57.000 I think my race is pretty important, too, but they're both really important.
00:10:00.000 My advice to both of them is just run jointly because your voters are all the same and your appeal is the same.
00:10:05.000 Go ahead really quick.
00:10:06.000 And Lake and Blake.
00:10:06.000 I mean, it's not so good.
00:10:08.000 It's like Arizona is going to determine who the 51st vote is in the United States Senate, right?
00:10:13.000 It's going to determine which party controls the upper chamber.
00:10:15.000 And Mark Kelly, I said yesterday at the turning point rally, Mark Kelly is doing a fantastic job as California's third senator.
00:10:22.000 That's exactly right.
00:10:22.000 But as an independent senator for Arizona, which is what he pretends to be, no, he's failing.
00:10:29.000 Look, we talk about current events a lot on this show, but there's other things that are in life that are bigger than current events, bigger things.
00:10:35.000 We try to do some shows every so often on these things.
00:10:38.000 But look, what am I talking about when I say that?
00:10:40.000 How about good and evil?
00:10:41.000 Right and wrong?
00:10:42.000 Prayer and the Bible or heaven and hell.
00:10:45.000 So look, the great C.S. Lewis, who's one of the most amazing minds ever to exist, was a master at addressing these questions.
00:10:53.000 And that is why Hillsdale College, the great college, the only college, in my opinion, wants you to learn more about him and his writings and their newest free online course, C.S. Lewis on Christianity.
00:11:06.000 And it all starts with taking a short quiz to find out how much you already know about Lewis.
00:11:11.000 He wrote more than the Narnia series, by the way.
00:11:14.000 Look, Hillsdale College is amazing.
00:11:15.000 They defend liberty.
00:11:16.000 They pursue truth.
00:11:17.000 They do a great job.
00:11:19.000 So just write this down.
00:11:20.000 This should be your go-to resource.
00:11:21.000 Remember, I have taken 16 of their online courses, and I have promised Dr. Arn I'm eventually going to finish them all.
00:11:28.000 Go to charlie4hillsdale.com to take this fun, interactive quiz, and then sign up for this free course.
00:11:33.000 The answers may even surprise you, even if you think you know everything about C.S. Lewis.
00:11:37.000 They surprised me, my goodness.
00:11:39.000 The quiz, the course, and everything you learn at Hillsdale College are yours for free, as always.
00:11:44.000 So take the C.S. Lewis quiz right now at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:11:48.000 That is charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:11:50.000 Take as many online courses as you can.
00:11:52.000 The Constitution course is amazing, but their C.S. Lewis course is extraordinary.
00:11:58.000 And by the way, Hillsdale College, just phenomenal.
00:12:01.000 Charlie4Hillsdale.com.
00:12:06.000 Blake Masters here running for Senate in Arizona.
00:12:08.000 He is the Republican nominee.
00:12:10.000 87,000 new IRS agents in the midst of a recession.
00:12:12.000 Mark Kelly cast one of the deciding votes.
00:12:15.000 Your thoughts?
00:12:16.000 The so-called Inflation Reduction Act, right?
00:12:18.000 Which is so Orwellian.
00:12:20.000 Anytime the Democrats say, oh, it's the Inflation Reduction Act, you know it's going to do the opposite, which is what this thing is going to do.
00:12:25.000 So yeah, they're dumb enough to decide to raise taxes on hardworking Americans in the middle of a recession.
00:12:30.000 And then that wasn't enough.
00:12:31.000 No, they voted to hire 87,000 new IRS agents.
00:12:35.000 There's only like 70,000 already.
00:12:37.000 So this more than doubles the size of the IRS.
00:12:40.000 You saw the job posting, right?
00:12:41.000 Some of these people have to be willing to carry a gun and use lethal force if necessary.
00:12:45.000 It's like, why are we arming the IRS to go use lethal force against people?
00:12:49.000 Apparently, Mark Kelly loves that.
00:12:51.000 And you know what really gets me?
00:12:52.000 In the voter rama, the amendment process, some Republican senator said, hey, Fon, you want to hire the 87,000 IRS agents?
00:12:59.000 First, you have to hire 20,000 Border Patrol agents.
00:13:02.000 Yes.
00:13:02.000 Mark Kelly rejected that.
00:13:04.000 He literally said no to 20,000 more border patrol agents who we desperately need, and yes to 87,000 new tax collectors to harass Arizona.
00:13:13.000 This is crazy.
00:13:13.000 And they're worse than tax collectors, aren't they, Kerry?
00:13:15.000 I mean, these are harassers.
00:13:16.000 Yeah.
00:13:17.000 I mean, what are they going to do?
00:13:18.000 Come to your door if you don't pay your taxes with the gun?
00:13:20.000 Pointed that?
00:13:21.000 And against small businesses, especially.
00:13:23.000 This is why it's so important to elect Blake because, you know, people will ask me what I think about it.
00:13:28.000 Obviously, I think it's horrible.
00:13:30.000 87,000 armed IRS, you know, tax auditors.
00:13:36.000 And I can't have, I don't have anything to do with that kind of legislation.
00:13:40.000 It's going to be our senators, and we've got to get someone in there with common sense.
00:13:43.000 And that's why it's so important.
00:13:44.000 There's so many issues the feds are doing that affect us at the state level, but that I really wouldn't have any control over.
00:13:50.000 And we've got to get, I think we need to get two Republican senators, and I hope that we get a good candidate to run against Kirsten Cinema.
00:13:57.000 Yeah, and that's part of the question, right, Carrie?
00:13:58.000 So for you, you're saying, though, okay, I'm not going to just say with the border, though, that's a federal issue.
00:14:03.000 You're going to say, no, this is a state issue.
00:14:04.000 It's a state issue, yeah.
00:14:05.000 Which is new because Republican governors haven't done much.
00:14:08.000 We're going to use the Constitution for our remedy.
00:14:10.000 I mean, the Constitution, Article 4, Section 4, the guarantee clause, obviously the federal government is supposed to be protecting us.
00:14:16.000 They're not doing that.
00:14:16.000 It's a dereliction of duty.
00:14:18.000 Joe Biden has been worthless.
00:14:20.000 And so we've got the remedy right there in that same document, Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3.
00:14:26.000 We're being invaded.
00:14:27.000 Our citizens are in imminent danger.
00:14:28.000 And time is of the essence here.
00:14:30.000 And so we're going to use that clause.
00:14:32.000 And it's basically state war powers.
00:14:34.000 And we are going to secure our border starting on day one.
00:14:38.000 I'm already working.
00:14:39.000 I've got a working group together, and we're working on our plan to start this on day one.
00:14:43.000 And Blake, in D.C., you'll give the air support necessary for Arizona to act.
00:14:47.000 Absolutely.
00:14:48.000 It's like, I agree with that.
00:14:49.000 Look, I do think it's a federal prerogative, but you could complain about Joe Biden's dereliction of duty until you're blue in the face.
00:14:54.000 He's not going to do it.
00:14:55.000 That's right.
00:14:55.000 And so I support our state governors, you know, protecting their people.
00:14:59.000 It's like, I'll do everything I can in D.C. Do you see the tandem, everybody?
00:15:02.000 Do you see why they're both necessary?
00:15:04.000 Because you have to have it on the state, and then you also have to have someone who's going to be like, actually, mayor cas, come answer questions for a little bit.
00:15:10.000 Yeah.
00:15:11.000 You know, last night, it was so great to have Governor Ron DeSantis, you know, just a great, strong governor.
00:15:16.000 And he told me when Blake and I were meeting with him that he would send support as well.
00:15:20.000 We're going to ask other states to help us out.
00:15:23.000 We'll send the Arizona National Guard, but we need other states to send their national support as well.
00:15:27.000 He said he would send Florida's National Guard to help out.
00:15:30.000 And we already know other states will do the same.
00:15:33.000 It's just a matter of pulling this together and as the states saying we will protect our border because it's affecting every single state.
00:15:40.000 So people ask me all the time, and by the way, email us your questions for both of them.
00:15:43.000 CarrieLake, BlakeMasters, CarrieLake.com, BlakeMasters.com.
00:15:46.000 They have to replenish their coffers.
00:15:48.000 They just had very expensive primaries, and we're 45 days out from ballots, 45 days out from ballots.
00:15:53.000 People ask me, Charlie, what is the new right?
00:15:55.000 Part of what the new right is, is we no longer accept the excuses for our downfall.
00:16:02.000 Like, oh, well, you know, you're a governor.
00:16:04.000 You're going to have to wait for a president to do something.
00:16:06.000 You're saying, actually, we're going to be constitutional about it.
00:16:09.000 We're going to be creative about it.
00:16:10.000 We're going to be lawful, but we're going to be precise in our action.
00:16:13.000 And we can't wait for the federal government.
00:16:15.000 I mean, we've seen in less than two years the near destruction of our country.
00:16:21.000 We went from having, I believe, the greatest president ever, maybe definitely of our lifetime and maybe ever, who had us riding high to almost the complete collapse of our country.
00:16:33.000 This is all of these other issues, actually, when you think about that, that we're losing our country, we're losing the United States of America.
00:16:39.000 That is the issue that is at task here.
00:16:42.000 We have to step forward and do what we can to save it.
00:16:44.000 So, Blake Mayorkis, he's going to be testifying.
00:16:47.000 You're a U.S. Senator.
00:16:48.000 How do you handle that?
00:16:50.000 Well, I think this guy literally needs to be impeached.
00:16:52.000 Yes.
00:16:53.000 I will take it to him.
00:16:55.000 I'm pretty sure we could trip him up.
00:16:57.000 That's all I like.
00:16:57.000 God bless Rand Paul for tripping up Fauci.
00:16:59.000 I think he got Fauci to perjure himself on the stage.
00:17:02.000 I'm pretty sure I could run circles around Majorkis.
00:17:05.000 Not sure he's particularly, I don't know, intelligent, but certainly, even if he is intelligent, he's just failing.
00:17:11.000 He held up his right hand and swore an oath to the Constitution, right?
00:17:14.000 He swore to faithfully defend and execute the laws of the United States, and he's not even trying.
00:17:18.000 It's not like they're trying to enforce federal law at the border and failing.
00:17:21.000 And that incompetence would be costly enough for this country.
00:17:23.000 No, they've just thrown their hands up.
00:17:24.000 They've intentionally opened up the southern border.
00:17:26.000 People are dying because of it.
00:17:27.000 Arizonans are dying.
00:17:28.000 He needs to be impeached.
00:17:29.000 I think we should impeach Joe Biden while we're at it because he's failed at his duties as well.
00:17:34.000 The only problem is you get Kamala Harrison from office.
00:17:37.000 Be careful what you wish for, but yeah, I agree.
00:17:39.000 Email us your thoughts for Carrie Lake and Blake Masters, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:17:42.000 We save Arizona.
00:17:43.000 We save America.
00:17:44.000 If you love America, you must care deeply and intimately about what's happening in Arizona.
00:17:50.000 There is no way America is restored as a constitutional republic if we do not win the United States Senate race here in Arizona and we do not win the governor's race.
00:17:58.000 Period.
00:17:58.000 End of story.
00:17:59.000 If you think like, oh, Charlie, why aren't you talking about this city council race in Massachusetts or whatever emails I get?
00:18:05.000 Those are all very important.
00:18:06.000 Okay.
00:18:07.000 I love all races.
00:18:08.000 Everything you're doing is important.
00:18:09.000 First of all, I live in Arizona.
00:18:11.000 That's not why we're doing it, though.
00:18:12.000 If I lived in Minnesota, I don't know how much I'd be talking about the elections, maybe a little bit.
00:18:17.000 This is the swing state of all swing states.
00:18:19.000 Carrie, your thoughts.
00:18:21.000 Well, it is, especially as it pertains to the governor's race, of both of our races, because the border is such a big issue.
00:18:27.000 And that's why we need Blake as senator as well, because so much of what happens on the border goes to the federal government.
00:18:32.000 We are about to take it over and run our border from the state level because we can't count right now on our federal government.
00:18:39.000 And I go to states, I mean, I've been all over this country and people will tell me, what is going on with your border?
00:18:44.000 Why is it wide open?
00:18:46.000 And what can we do to stop that?
00:18:48.000 Well, we have a plan for it.
00:18:49.000 It's right there on our website, carrylake.com, K-A-R-I-L-A-K-E.com.
00:18:54.000 We have the best border plan, the most aggressive border plan the country's ever seen.
00:18:58.000 It's been endorsed by Brandon Judd with the Border Patrol Council.
00:19:02.000 Tom Holman, former ICE director, they understand this.
00:19:05.000 They know what needs to be done on the border, and we need a governor strong enough to act on it.
00:19:10.000 And on day one, we're going to act on it.
00:19:12.000 We're going to call it what it is.
00:19:13.000 It's an invasion on the border.
00:19:15.000 This is why Arizona is so important wherever you are across the country.
00:19:19.000 And frankly, this is why we're getting donations, Charlie.
00:19:21.000 From all across America.
00:19:22.000 $20 donations, $2,000 donations from all over the country, because people realize that the border issues they're facing in their state, people coming illegally, driving wages down, the fentanyl pouring into their communities, killing our young people.
00:19:36.000 It all stems from our wide open border in Arizona.
00:19:39.000 Blake, thoughts on Arizona first?
00:19:41.000 Then I'm going to go to the next piece of sound here, really quick.
00:19:43.000 I'm biased, but I literally think it's the most important Senate race in the whole country.
00:19:47.000 It's a chance to flip a Democrat Senate race.
00:19:49.000 That's right.
00:19:50.000 And if we win this Senate seat, and that's what I intend to do here in November, then the Republicans will control the U.S. Senate next year.
00:19:56.000 If we don't, then the Democrats will have control of the Senate, right?
00:19:59.000 And the Senate advises and consents on judicial nominations, just to pick one little thing, right?
00:20:03.000 These are Article III, federal judges.
00:20:05.000 Biden is just stacking the quirks right now.
00:20:07.000 God forbid he was able to get two Supreme Court justices in his last two years in office.
00:20:12.000 It would be such a disaster.
00:20:13.000 So we've got to block this and win the Senate seat.
00:20:15.000 And also, I mean, I'm thinking President Trump's going to end up back in the White House.
00:20:19.000 And we want to have a majority in the Senate that is solid.
00:20:23.000 That's why we got to have Blake in there.
00:20:25.000 And if you're planning on voting, vote Republican down the ticket.
00:20:28.000 The top two races are Blake's and mine, and we appreciate it.
00:20:32.000 So, Blake, when you go to D.C., you're going to have to deal with this garbage.
00:20:35.000 This is Jonathan Carl from ABC News actually doing a rare, let's just say, moment of journalism, asking Corrine Jean-Pierre about, isn't it almost Orwellian?
00:20:46.000 Same thing you're saying.
00:20:48.000 This is an ABC News reporter challenging the Biden spokesperson, saying, Aren't you kind of being a little Orwellian here?
00:20:55.000 And listen to this response, and then Blake, I'll let you go from there.
00:20:58.000 Play cut 27.
00:20:59.000 But let me ask you: it's called the Inflation Reduction Act, but the Congressional Budget Act office, which is nonpartisan, said that there would be a negligible impact on inflation this year and barely impact inflation at all next year.
00:21:14.000 I mean, isn't it almost Orwellian?
00:21:15.000 How can you call it Inflation Reduction Act when the nonpartisan experts say it's not going to be?
00:21:20.000 I appreciate the question.
00:21:21.000 We've actually addressed this, the CBO.
00:21:23.000 It was the top-line number.
00:21:25.000 There's more in there that shows that it will have the money.
00:21:30.000 Remember how we're doing this, too.
00:21:32.000 It's making sure that billionaires in corporate America are paying their fair share of money.
00:21:38.000 Hey, we've studied the Orwellian nature of the bill.
00:21:41.000 Blake, your thoughts?
00:21:42.000 Well, first of all, I'm not sure she's ever read Orwell or I don't think she's running Animal Farmer 1999.
00:21:48.000 She appreciates the question, and we've actually studied this.
00:21:51.000 I mean, the Hectoring, right?
00:21:52.000 She sounds like just the, but it's so typical.
00:21:55.000 And then she just, maybe she's better than Jen Saki or whatever.
00:21:59.000 She was pretty bad too, but they never say anything.
00:22:01.000 It's all disinformation.
00:22:02.000 It's all misinformation.
00:22:03.000 And the way they title things, the Affordable Health Care Act, I mean, nothing affordable to that.
00:22:07.000 It's basically always, as our kids would say, it's opposite day.
00:22:10.000 It's opposite day.
00:22:11.000 Whenever you take a piece of legislation that the Democrats craft, just take what it says and go completely the opposite because it's going to make inflation worse.
00:22:20.000 It's going to make it harder for us to live every day to afford things.
00:22:23.000 When you're raising taxes on people making as little as $20,000, that's not going to help anyone.
00:22:30.000 So we have a set of situations here.
00:22:34.000 Mar-a-Lago was raided last week, and the FBI seems completely and totally out of control.
00:22:39.000 They target moms and dads that show up at school board meetings, and the media is being very suspicious about all of this.
00:22:45.000 I want to play a piece of tape again here of Peter Struckstroke Smirk with Joe Scarborough talking about why we should trust the FBI and trust federal law enforcement.
00:22:55.000 I want to get this piece of tape here.
00:22:57.000 Okay, play cut 17, please.
00:22:59.000 Put that out there.
00:23:00.000 The FBI makes mistakes.
00:23:02.000 The church makes mistakes.
00:23:05.000 People make mistakes.
00:23:06.000 They screw up.
00:23:07.000 Should this be any reason for Americans not trust that what the FBI and the DOJ are doing now is in pursuit of protecting classified documents?
00:23:18.000 Well, Joe, absolutely.
00:23:20.000 The American public should trust what the FBI is doing.
00:23:22.000 Blake, should we trust what the FBI is doing?
00:23:24.000 No, we've seen too much.
00:23:26.000 We've seen too much.
00:23:27.000 You know, people do make mistakes.
00:23:28.000 Institutions do make mistakes.
00:23:30.000 But at this point, you've seen a track record.
00:23:31.000 You've seen a pattern.
00:23:33.000 And the weaponization of the DOJ and the FBI under Merrick Garland, under Joe Biden.
00:23:37.000 Like, this is just clear.
00:23:38.000 It's clear that they're not following the rule of law.
00:23:41.000 It's clear that this is political persecution against President Trump.
00:23:44.000 Everybody knows this is about trying to neutralize Trump and taking him off the table in 2024.
00:23:48.000 The Democrats, they fear Trump.
00:23:50.000 They don't want to compete with him at the ballot box.
00:23:52.000 They don't want to compete with his agenda.
00:23:53.000 They know they can't compete.
00:23:54.000 And so, no, the FBI is acting nakedly partisan.
00:23:57.000 This is political, and it's really scary because it feels like Banana Republic stuff.
00:24:01.000 Like, it's actually really important.
00:24:02.000 It's been going on for six, seven years.
00:24:05.000 I mean, first of all, you're interviewing Peter Strzok.
00:24:07.000 As the subject matter expert.
00:24:09.000 MSDNC is interviewing Peter Strzzok.
00:24:12.000 You know, they've been after President Trump since day one, since before he took office.
00:24:16.000 They've been trying to bring him down.
00:24:18.000 And I think Americans are starting to get so I've been sick of it for a long time, but I think even Americans who haven't been paying attention are like, are they still going after Trump?
00:24:28.000 Why?
00:24:29.000 Why are they going?
00:24:29.000 And you hit it.
00:24:30.000 They know he's going to run again.
00:24:32.000 I believe he is.
00:24:33.000 And I think we all probably have seen the signs that he's going to run again.
00:24:36.000 And they don't, they thought they got rid of him in the 2020 election.
00:24:39.000 And he's still there and he's still swinging.
00:24:41.000 And I think he's going to come back.
00:24:44.000 And they're trying to prevent that.
00:24:45.000 And it's such a watershed moment in the case of you have a presidential landmark that is raided by federal law enforcement, completely violating the Fourth Amendment.
00:24:57.000 And there are so many questions.
00:24:58.000 What's in the affidavit?
00:24:59.000 Why couldn't they subpoena these documents?
00:25:01.000 And there's almost no one holding them accountable for this, right?
00:25:05.000 Republican senators are sending out a couple letters, but this shouldn't be political, right, Blake?
00:25:10.000 I mean, for years, when you and I were much younger, the left used to complain about the overreach of federal law enforcement.
00:25:16.000 We don't like if the FBI goes after anybody unnecessarily.
00:25:19.000 It just so happens it's the Uniparty now going after America first.
00:25:23.000 Completely right.
00:25:24.000 You know, the, the, I mean, we support law enforcement.
00:25:28.000 I like it as decentralized as possible.
00:25:29.000 So I think federal law enforcement deserves a little bit more scrutiny.
00:25:32.000 But you need, you need the DOJ.
00:25:34.000 Like you need an FBI.
00:25:36.000 They just need to follow the rule of law.
00:25:38.000 And I think the next task for President Trump when he gets back in office is to literally fire every single partisan operative at these institutions.
00:25:47.000 You have to clean house.
00:25:48.000 I don't want Republican Party activists in there.
00:25:51.000 We don't want them to be partisan on our side.
00:25:52.000 We want them to be neutral and follow the rule of law.
00:25:54.000 The rule of law is a foundational principle.
00:25:57.000 And as soon as you throw it out, you don't have America anymore.
00:26:00.000 And that's why it's so scary.
00:26:01.000 If it goes an inch further, I really fear that we lose the country.
00:26:03.000 It'd be nice if we had real journalists to cover this as a journalist should.
00:26:07.000 They should see that for what it is and cover that.
00:26:09.000 But they're so in on it.
00:26:11.000 I don't hear the media reporting this strange coincidence that the judge who signed the search warrant used to be a lawyer for Jeffrey Epsom.
00:26:19.000 That's right.
00:26:20.000 A magistrate judge.
00:26:21.000 And you only hear a magistrate judge, right?
00:26:22.000 So not even Article 3 or whatever.
00:26:24.000 You only hear about this on Twitter.
00:26:26.000 Where are the journalists?
00:26:27.000 Why are they talking about it?
00:26:28.000 Maybe it's a coincidence.
00:26:29.000 Kind of suspect maybe.
00:26:30.000 Maybe not.
00:26:30.000 Maybe not.
00:26:31.000 We're getting a lot of questions here about education.
00:26:33.000 And both of you are going to have a different way to approach parent-centered education.
00:26:36.000 Carrie, let's start with you.
00:26:38.000 Arizona education could be much improved, right?
00:26:41.000 We have some good school choice measures.
00:26:43.000 What's your plan for education here in Arizona versus your opponent?
00:26:46.000 Well, I think that we were always talking about funding the student, not the system.
00:26:50.000 And then last session, our lawmakers, some great conservative lawmakers, made it happen.
00:26:55.000 We are now funding the student not the system that to me is the fastest way to clean up the curriculum I mean think about it if you've got a few schools and you find out that they're teaching a garbage curriculum a woke curriculum at this school you just say you know we're taking our son out we're going to bring him to this school pretty soon when the enrollment starts to dip that school is going to have to make adjustments we also have a plan and this is a high school plan for dual track education I have students,
00:27:23.000 young people who come up to me and say, I'm so excited about this.
00:27:26.000 After the 10th grade, you decide if you're going to go the four-year college route and you're going to continue along those college prep classes, or after 10th grade, if you want to get trade skill training, vocational training, certification, the vast majority of jobs that are high-paying jobs out there do not require a college degree.
00:27:44.000 You don't have to get into debt to get those jobs.
00:27:46.000 But we want the kids to be able to learn that right in high school, not to have to go after high school to an additional trade skill training center or vocational school.
00:27:55.000 We want them to learn that in high school.
00:27:57.000 There's no reason that our 16, 17, and 18-year-olds can't be learning these skills that will get them into high-paying jobs immediately.
00:28:04.000 They do this down at a school district in Tucson.
00:28:07.000 I visited it.
00:28:08.000 They have a welding program, culinary arts, and many others.
00:28:11.000 These welding students get out and 100% of them, the day they graduate, have a job offer making between $70,000 and $100,000 with full benefits.
00:28:21.000 Blake.
00:28:22.000 My job is to get into the U.S. Senate and give Kerry air cover, right?
00:28:25.000 I want education to be decentralized.
00:28:27.000 It's a state issue, way, way, way more than a federal issue.
00:28:30.000 My opponent, of course, is the opposite.
00:28:31.000 He supports the entrenched federal bureaucracy in the Department of Education.
00:28:36.000 He wants to fund critical race theory, fund the 1619 history curriculum, fund this perverse gender ideology that these left-wing activists are pushing on our kids.
00:28:45.000 He wants to do all that at the federal level.
00:28:47.000 I just, I want to block that.
00:28:49.000 I want to return power from D.C. to Arizona, right, and give you air cover for all these great school choice initiatives.
00:28:55.000 Arizona has been a pioneer and a model in school choice.
00:28:59.000 Truly.
00:29:00.000 This bill that you're talking about that's now law was fantastic.
00:29:02.000 And I know you're going to be the best governor for parents and students.
00:29:05.000 And with the charter schools that we have and the options we have, you should not be bound by your zip code to a failing school.
00:29:13.000 This is an issue that Democrats want and Republicans.
00:29:16.000 When you talk to Democrats, Republicans, Independents out on the street, they want the best school choice for their son or daughter.
00:29:24.000 The only people who don't want it are the Democrat lawmakers because they're getting money from all kinds of special interests to make sure that we don't have all these choices.
00:29:33.000 Thankfully, we got the funding measure passed where we have ESA for all of our students.
00:29:38.000 And I'd like to actually expand that with even more money going to each student.
00:29:41.000 And I think when we start to change up how we treat curriculum and why we're educating, why are we educating our kids to prepare them to be self-sufficient out there in the real world?
00:29:52.000 And we need to change what our standards are.
00:29:53.000 Why do you need this many, you know, right now you need this many credit hours of math, science, whatever it may be.
00:29:59.000 We need to get some credit hours in there of real life skills that are going to help them in the real world.
00:30:04.000 Well said.
00:30:04.000 And get all this garbage out of our classroom, CRT, gender ideology.
00:30:08.000 Katie Hobbs is pushing for the worst of all that agenda.
00:30:13.000 She would take over Arizona schools and turn them into unrecognizable wasteland.
00:30:16.000 And Mark Kelly, he's going to cover for all that stuff in Washington, D.C. We're here with Carrie Lake and Blake Masters, CarrieLake.com, BlakeMasters.com.
00:30:23.000 Charlie, love Blake Masters.
00:30:25.000 Just saw two ads against him in the break.
00:30:28.000 Literally on this feed.
00:30:29.000 On this feed.
00:30:29.000 Mark Kelly has so much money.
00:30:30.000 He buys ads on conservative television.
00:30:33.000 Wow.
00:30:34.000 That's how much money he has.
00:30:35.000 I want to ask you, Carrie, how is it possible Katie Hobbs is allowed to be Secretary of State of an election she's running?
00:30:43.000 That's a great question.
00:30:44.000 And that's why over a year ago, we said she should recuse herself.
00:30:47.000 I mean, she's supposed to be helping to make sure we have fair elections, right?
00:30:51.000 And she's called half of Arizona.
00:30:53.000 She called the Republicans Nazis.
00:30:55.000 And how do you treat that group of people fairly if that's how you refer to them?
00:31:01.000 She's run incompetent elections.
00:31:03.000 I mean, we found out in Pinal County in just this last election, the primary election, that one hour into the voting day on election day, they ran out of Republican ballots, not Democrat ballots.
00:31:14.000 They ran out of Republican ballots.
00:31:16.000 And they say, oh, too many people showed up.
00:31:18.000 That's what they said.
00:31:18.000 They ran out of ballots in more than a quarter of the polling places.
00:31:22.000 And guess who gave them advisement on how many ballots they needed?
00:31:25.000 Katie Hobbs.
00:31:26.000 Katie Hobbs.
00:31:27.000 You cannot, you should recuse yourself if you are the administrator of an election you are running in.
00:31:33.000 Believe it or not, California has this law that if you are going to be running for office, you have to resign your office 90 days.
00:31:41.000 You can't be an incumbent for another statewide office.
00:31:44.000 Especially one that has control or has electro of the elections.
00:31:48.000 Yes.
00:31:48.000 And I'm not saying California is everything right, but it actually is a good idea because now she's going to be in charge of very particular ballot allocation and election practices.
00:31:59.000 And you have to beg the question, are you going to be doing the right thing for the people of Arizona or the right thing for the Katie Hobbs campaign?
00:32:03.000 Right.
00:32:04.000 Or the Mark Kelly campaign, Blake.
00:32:05.000 That's right.
00:32:05.000 Right.
00:32:06.000 Yeah.
00:32:06.000 Look, all Katie Hobbs had to do was advise Pinal County to have as many ballots as there are registered voters.
00:32:12.000 If you do that, you can never run out.
00:32:14.000 That's right.
00:32:15.000 And so she's just so incompetent.
00:32:17.000 She's just so incompetent.
00:32:18.000 She can't be trusted with anything.
00:32:19.000 She's an adjudicated, convicted racist.
00:32:22.000 She's low IQ.
00:32:23.000 She's not good.
00:32:24.000 Yeah.
00:32:24.000 She's such a crazy thing.
00:32:25.000 I don't think people even realize that we're paying one of the largest, second largest settlements in state history because of her racism.
00:32:33.000 She has been convicted twice of being a racist for racial discrimination against an employee, a staff member.
00:32:40.000 This woman had the courage to come forward and say, look, why am I not making the same amount as the white employees here?
00:32:47.000 And what is the answer?
00:32:48.000 It should have been, oh my gosh, let's give you the back pay.
00:32:51.000 Let's raise your salary.
00:32:52.000 You deserve this.
00:32:53.000 What does she do?
00:32:53.000 Katie Hobbs fires the woman.
00:32:55.000 And two courts, two juries found her guilty, unanimously found her guilty.
00:33:00.000 And we, the people, are paying for that, for Katie Hobbs' racism, $2.7 million judgment.
00:33:06.000 And I mean, how could she even be on the ballot?
00:33:09.000 How did Democrats even elect someone like that?
00:33:12.000 It's appalling.
00:33:13.000 Well, yeah.
00:33:13.000 And also, she has these incredibly woke ideas.
00:33:16.000 I mean, incredibly radical, like astronomically so.
00:33:20.000 So I want to just focus a little bit more on your race here, Blake, just for a second, as we're running out of time.
00:33:24.000 People are emailing us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:27.000 A question we've received three or four times is, what is Blake's plan to take the fight to Mark Kelly?
00:33:32.000 You're being outspent.
00:33:33.000 You know, Carrie, you have a tough race, but state politics, it's very personal.
00:33:37.000 It's very tactile.
00:33:38.000 When it comes to Senate races, it seems as if sometimes it gets lost in kind of the chatter.
00:33:43.000 What is your plan, Blake, to bring the fight to Mark Kelly?
00:33:46.000 Two components to it, right?
00:33:47.000 You got to give people a reason to fire the other guy and then a reason to hire you.
00:33:51.000 And so in terms of the first, we'll just go after his voting record.
00:33:54.000 You know, yeah, he's on TV saying, oh, I was an astronaut and I'm an independent.
00:33:57.000 I'm a moderate.
00:33:58.000 And it's like, no, that barely worked in 2020, right?
00:34:02.000 And now he's got a track record.
00:34:03.000 So now if he says that, he's just lying.
00:34:06.000 So I have to tell people, actually, look at not what he says, but what he does.
00:34:10.000 And what he does is just carry water for the Biden administration.
00:34:13.000 He's voting for the open borders policies.
00:34:15.000 Mark Kelly votes for all the trillions in spending that has caused this massive inflation.
00:34:18.000 He's voting to block Border Patrol, but hire 87,000 new IRS agents, right?
00:34:24.000 So we have to expose his record.
00:34:25.000 All I have to do is tell the truth about him and then also tell people what I bring to the table, which is this incredible America first agenda, right?
00:34:33.000 New energy, new energy.
00:34:34.000 And an independent thinker, too.
00:34:36.000 You're not just going to be uniparty Blake, right?
00:34:38.000 Everybody knows I will not just vote in lockstep with whatever party leadership wants.
00:34:42.000 Yes.
00:34:42.000 Really one of the smartest guys I've met on the campaign trail is a deep thinker.
00:34:47.000 Very, very much so.
00:34:48.000 I'm most appalled by Mark Kelly's coziness with the CCP.
00:34:52.000 And I'm sure he voted every time for the Ukraine money.
00:34:55.000 Yeah, he did.
00:34:56.000 I think as an American, I don't care what your political back, if you're with the Democrat Party, the Independent Party, the Green Party, the Pizza Party, as I say, how they could vote for all of that money going to Ukraine when we have so many problems on our streets.
00:35:11.000 We've got a homeless situation that is out of control.
00:35:16.000 We're struggling to pay for our basic needs here.
00:35:19.000 We have a border that's wide open.
00:35:20.000 How on earth does he justify spending that kind of money?
00:35:23.000 You said how on earth?
00:35:24.000 But, you know, his head is up in space still.
00:35:26.000 He hooks his brain out.
00:35:27.000 He just does whatever Chuck Schumer tells him to do.
00:35:29.000 That's what's so disappointing.
00:35:30.000 At least Sinema's too left-wing, and I agree that I hope we get a conservative Republican in 2024, right?
00:35:35.000 But at least she knows how to tell Schumer to go pound sand.
00:35:39.000 Like occasionally, she's independent, which she promised to be.
00:35:41.000 Mark Kelly made all those same promises, but they're lies.
00:35:44.000 He's never independent.
00:35:45.000 He's actually just voting like Bernie Sanders.
00:35:47.000 And so I have to expose him.
00:35:48.000 And when we do, I'm pretty sure that's how we win.
00:35:51.000 And he's the typical senatorial candidate from the left.
00:35:54.000 You only see them six months out of the year.
00:35:56.000 Or every six years, you see him for six months.
00:35:59.000 That's right.
00:35:59.000 And then you never see him again.
00:36:00.000 It's very rarely, everybody, where you get great candidates in critical states in years where they can win.
00:36:07.000 It's very rare.
00:36:08.000 Usually you get Chamber of Commerce, very normal candidates, like, okay, whatever.
00:36:12.000 You have kind of the stars aligning here in Arizona where you could have a phenomenal grassroots-based governor and a phenomenal young senator to bring the fight to D.C.
00:36:23.000 But the problem again is they're being outspent nearly 10 to 1.
00:36:26.000 That's not a death sentence.
00:36:28.000 It's not.
00:36:28.000 It just means we need your help to help them.
00:36:31.000 It's CarrieLake.com and BlakeMasters.com.
00:36:35.000 They love the Lord.
00:36:36.000 They're fighting very hard for liberty and for the Constitution.
00:36:39.000 Do what you can to help them and support them.
00:36:41.000 Carrie and Blake, thank you for joining us this hour.
00:36:42.000 Thanks, Charlie.
00:36:43.000 Always a pleasure.
00:36:44.000 Thank you.
00:36:44.000 You guys are welcome anytime.
00:36:45.000 We're going to do everything we can.
