00:02:00.000 He says that he supports law enforcement, yet he wants to end cash bail and proposed that we eliminate qualified immunity, which of course is the legal protections that our police officers have.
00:02:10.000 And so what he's really trying to do basically is run as a version of me.
00:02:14.000 He's trying to run as sort of diet JD Vance and hope that the electorate of Ohio doesn't recognize that he is in fact a liberal Democrat.

00:02:23.000 And so, you know, we over the next 13 days are really just trying to hammer the message.
00:02:27.000 Don't believe Tim Ryan's lies about me, but also don't believe Tim Ryan's lies about himself.

00:03:54.000 By the way, anyone who panders like that with the ACLU should not be a senator for the state of Ohio because ACLU are the same people that are cousins and sister organizations to people that want to legalize all drugs.

00:04:12.000 Actually, our team just identified a video a couple of days ago where Tim Ryan said that he does want to abolish all limitations, all legal penalties for drugs, including fentanyl.
00:04:22.000 But, you know, it makes me realize, Charlie, like both at the individual trafficker level, at the Mexican drug cartel level, and even at the level of China, which, of course, is manufacturing this fentanyl, the Democrats want to go easy on everybody that's causing this drug problem in the state of Ohio and all across the country.
00:04:38.000 And I just got to say, Charlie, sort of separate the substantive disagreements that I have with Tim Ryan.
00:04:43.000 I watched that clip of him and I think to myself, this guy, after we beat him, is going to have a great career as a used car salesman.
00:04:51.000 There's just something about his voice or about his manner where, you know, it's like he's got a great 1994 Buick.
00:04:57.000 It runs like new, and he's going to give you a great deal on it.
00:05:00.000 That's his entire ethic.
00:05:02.000 That's his entire attitude.
00:05:04.000 And I think because of it, we're going to do very well in November.

00:06:58.000 And this whole thing that Tim Ryan is trying to do, where he pretends that somehow the National Democratic Party has abandoned him.
00:07:07.000 Tim Ryan has raised close to $60 million to put television advertisements lying about me, lying about my record, lying about his own record.
00:07:16.000 I think the only guy who's raised more money than him from National Democrats is John Fetterman, who, of course, can barely string a sentence together.

00:07:24.000 So it's really preposterous that Tim Ryan is trying to claim that he's sort of been abandoned by the National Democratic Party.

00:07:33.000 There's nothing, there's no ounce of truth to it.
00:07:35.000 Now, here's the really crazy thing here.
00:07:38.000 Tim Ryan says that he's not a culture warrior.
00:07:40.000 And I think it's an important point to make, Charlie.
00:07:42.000 We don't just want to stand for the economic interests of normal Americans.
00:07:47.000 That's, of course, important.
00:07:48.000 We want to protect people's jobs from China.
00:07:50.000 We want to get this inflation under control so that normal people can afford to go to the grocery store, can afford to go to the gas pump.
00:07:56.000 But we also want to stand for the values of normal Americans.

00:08:00.000 You know, Tim Ryan does things like he voted for the Equality Act.
00:08:04.000 Let's talk about what the Equality Act does.
00:08:06.000 It actually would force the government to strip funding for free and reduced school lunch funding if a rural Ohio school district didn't bend the knee to Joe Biden on the transgender issue.
00:08:18.000 He's voted to prevent doctors from providing care to babies who survive botched abortion.
00:08:24.000 So even as he says on the one hand, I'm not a culture warrior.
00:08:27.000 His actual record is that he fights the culture warrior aggressively.
00:08:31.000 He just fights it for the wrong team.
00:08:33.000 And I think the fact that he's trying to run away from that is pretty preposterous.
00:08:37.000 Now, let me just say one more thing, Charlie, about this whole idea that he wants to make Democrats the party of non-college educated people.
00:08:45.000 Well, I'm sorry to say, Tim, that ship sailed a long time ago.
00:08:49.000 And in your particular race, if you want to attract non-college educated voters to your cause, why don't you not call me a racist for daring to believe that we should have border security in this country?
00:09:00.000 That is not a value that non-college educated working class voters actually support.
00:09:05.000 They know that a wide open southern border hurts them more than anybody else.
00:09:10.000 So don't call me and everybody else a racist for wanting to secure that border.
00:09:14.000 And if you do, don't expect working class voters to flock to you.
00:09:17.000 They know you're a phony.
00:09:18.000 They know you're a fraud, and they know you don't have their interests at heart.

00:10:55.000 It seems to be something the Democrats just refuse to acknowledge.

00:11:06.000 Talk about Tim Ryan on crime and how the people of Ohio are seeing an increase of crime because of Democrat policies.
00:11:12.000 Yeah, well, first, Charlie, we have to take stock of the fact that, like with everything else, Tim Ryan has two presentations.
00:11:19.000 He has the campaign version of himself, and then he has the DC version of himself where he votes against law enforcement.
00:11:24.000 He votes against law and order.
00:11:27.000 He votes against public safety.
00:11:29.000 You know, we've talked about how he's proposed ending cash bail.
00:11:32.000 He's proposed decriminalizing all drugs, including the fentanyl that's killing people.
00:11:36.000 And unfortunately, the consequences of this stuff are just so easy to see in the state of Ohio and elsewhere.
00:11:42.000 So there's a small town probably about an hour from where I'm sitting right now here in Cincinnati, Charlie.
00:11:47.000 Beautiful, old-fashioned American town, incredible architecture.
00:11:51.000 Five years ago, they had a chronic homeless population of zero people.
00:11:55.000 I was talking to the police there just a couple of weeks.
00:11:57.000 Now they have a chronic homeless population of 400.
00:12:00.000 I was with my son, my two-year-old son in Columbus just a couple of months ago.
00:12:04.000 He gets up early, as a lot of kids do, and we were walking around downtown Columbus at about six in the morning.
00:12:11.000 Just people sleeping on the streets in every single shop.
00:12:15.000 You cannot walk down the street without being harassed by a person who's clearly mentally unwell, who clearly needs some help.
00:12:21.000 And of course, Democrats have somehow convinced themselves that it's compassionate to allow chronic mental health problems to just fester on our streets instead of getting those people the help that they need and getting them into a mental health facility.
00:12:34.000 So it's really causing some serious problems.
00:12:37.000 And of course, you see it statistically, Charlie.
00:12:39.000 I mean, the crime rate is up.
00:12:40.000 The violent crime rate is up.
00:12:42.000 Muggings, carjackings, murders, all of these things have gone in the wrong direction.
00:12:46.000 And what I find really interesting about this, Charlie, is I'm asked all the time by the media about gun control.
00:12:52.000 The question is always, well, we have all of these gun crimes.
00:12:55.000 What about creating new gun regulations?
00:12:57.000 And the counterpoint that I always make is, well, we didn't have any change in our gun laws over the last couple of years.
00:13:03.000 What we did have is a change where we decided to declare war on our police officers and let violent criminals out of prison.
00:13:09.000 That's what's causing the crime problem.
00:13:12.000 That's what's causing the violence problem.
00:13:14.000 That's what we need to reverse and go in the opposite direction, or we're going to lose our streets.
00:13:18.000 I mean, thank God.
00:13:19.000 I don't live in California.
00:13:21.000 I don't live in Philadelphia, but Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, if we keep on making bad decisions, they could be just as bad as some of those crime centers over the next five years.

00:13:33.000 And I don't think anybody in the state of Ohio does either.

00:14:41.000 In that very clip, he endorsed both those ideas.

00:18:20.000 He's pretending on people's television screens to be some kind of center-right Republican all of a sudden.

00:19:31.000 That was their first time they got to see him struggle to defend his record, which, of course, is indefensible and super left-wing.

00:19:40.000 Been gaining ever since, and we're just going to continue on this awesome trajectory right through the tape on November 8th.

00:19:48.000 And out-of-state Democrat consultants have been coming in and spending a lot of money.
00:19:52.000 And now I think they're starting to realize that Arizona is actually more center-right.
