00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, why are Republicans fighting for amnesty?
00:00:03.000 Do Hispanic voters want amnesty?
00:00:05.000 This is a critical moment.
00:00:07.000 We dissect that and so much more.
00:00:09.000 Email us your questions, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:00:18.000 Amnesty, Republicans, and more.
00:00:20.000 Buckle up.
00:00:21.000 Here we go.
00:00:22.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:24.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:26.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:30.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:33.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:34.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:35.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:43.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:00:52.000 That's why we are here.
00:00:56.000 I just got this alert on my Apple hardware device.
00:00:59.000 By the way, I'm trying to find a different hardware company besides Apple and no, not Android or Google.
00:01:04.000 It says, get notified of possible exposure to COVID-19 by the California Department at Public Health because we were there last weekend.
00:01:10.000 That is Orwellian.
00:01:12.000 Go through your settings and deactivate everything.
00:01:15.000 This stuff, I'm telling you where this is headed.
00:01:17.000 I'm actually going to write an essay of where I actually think we're going to be 20 years from now if this stuff plays it out the way it is.
00:01:26.000 And I actually think that there will be a pro-human movement that becomes very popular in the next couple of years.
00:01:32.000 Write down this prediction, Mr. Connor.
00:01:32.000 You got this?
00:01:35.000 The pro-human movement of people that say, I don't want to deal with this tracking, surveillance, screens.
00:01:43.000 I want to go back to being a human being.
00:01:45.000 That will be very popular.
00:01:47.000 Now, I read every email.
00:01:49.000 I don't respond to every email.
00:01:51.000 We literally have 44,485 new emails that have come in.
00:01:56.000 So I will continue to go through them and I read every single one.
00:02:01.000 And I try to respond to as many as I can.
00:02:02.000 Freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:02:05.000 One of the biggest lies that is taught to our young people in political science courses and also from our leaders is the lie that we both want the same thing.
00:02:17.000 That conservatives and liberals both want the same thing.
00:02:21.000 We just have different ways of getting there.
00:02:23.000 That our goals are the same.
00:02:25.000 We just have different roads to get us to that end objective.
00:02:30.000 That we all want what's best for America and our intentions are the same.
00:02:35.000 Now, this lie is believed by many different leaders in the Republican Party.
00:02:45.000 But do you know that it's believed by no one in the Democrat Party?
00:02:49.000 That's what's so fascinating is that no Democrat believes that Republicans want the same thing that they want.
00:02:57.000 But dozens of Republicans believe that Democrats want what they want.
00:03:02.000 We want two completely different things.
00:03:05.000 We believe America is our home, not a temporary colony.
00:03:10.000 We believe that immigration must be restricted.
00:03:12.000 We believe in strong families.
00:03:14.000 We believe in ending abortion.
00:03:16.000 We believe in Second Amendment rights.
00:03:17.000 We believe in First Amendment rights.
00:03:20.000 The left doesn't believe in any of that.
00:03:21.000 They believe in taxpayer-funded post-birth abortion on demand with 1 million abortions a year.
00:03:27.000 They believe in mass drug legalization.
00:03:29.000 They believe in open borders.
00:03:31.000 There's nothing special about this country, nothing unique, nothing exceptional.
00:03:31.000 And they believe this.
00:03:35.000 So we might as well get whatever we can out of it and move on.
00:03:38.000 And they also believe that human beings are on the same moral playing field as the birds and the bison and some tree that I've never seen in northwest Alaska that somehow is worthy of preservation because we can't build a pipeline or something like that.
00:03:56.000 And I'm very pro conservation of our public lands, but I also believe in a moral hierarchy that human beings come above the land.
00:04:04.000 Okay.
00:04:05.000 And one senator who we've had on the Charlie Kirk show, I actually enjoy him.
00:04:10.000 He's a nice man, but he's being deceived either by his staffers, by his friends, or he's being deceived by his own thoughts.
00:04:17.000 That he believes that in this moment, somehow we can work together with Democrats.
00:04:21.000 So let me just paint the picture of where we are.
00:04:24.000 Democrats and their allies in Menlo Park are kicking conservatives off of social media and suppressing conservatives on social media at a record pace.
00:04:34.000 They passed a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill without one Republican vote.
00:04:39.000 They passed H.R. 1 to fundamentally change all of our voting systems in our country.
00:04:44.000 They passed H.R. 5 to allow men to go in women's locker rooms and end women's sports as we know it.
00:04:50.000 They're trying to pass H.R. 51 to make Washington, D.C. a state.
00:04:54.000 And then H.R. 7, I think it was H.R. 7, H.R. anti-2A was passed, and eight Republicans signed on to it, including Adam Kinzinger, to take your weapons away and take away a Second Amendment rights.
00:05:11.000 So Senator Rick Scott, with all of that happening, with hundreds of thousands of people pouring over the border, what does Senator Rick Scott do?
00:05:21.000 He announces a mass amnesty plan.
00:05:25.000 Senator Rick Scott, senator from Florida, comes out with a mass legalization package and program to legitimize lawbreaking, border jumping, and the illegal entry into our home, into our country.
00:05:46.000 Senator Rick Scott frames it, and I'm going to give him more grace than I would an establishment Republican, because I actually think, because I've had a chance to get to know him, but he's not going to be immune to criticism here on this program, that I think he thinks the Democrats actually mean well.
00:06:06.000 They don't.
00:06:07.000 The Democrats do not mean well.
00:06:10.000 They want a borderless society where a flow of illegals into our country will make America a completely different country.
00:06:22.000 Not to mention the mass lawlessness.
00:06:24.000 So on January 29th, Senator Rick Scott says we must enhance border security and provide permanent DACA protection.
00:06:31.000 No, we don't.
00:06:32.000 We don't have to.
00:06:34.000 All we need is border security.
00:06:35.000 And if we're not going to get it, then so be it.
00:06:40.000 DACA protection or the mass amnesty of illegals would be a tragic mistake while you already have hundreds of thousands of people that are coming into the country.
00:06:49.000 Do you think more illegals or less illegals are going to come over when you do a measure like this?
00:06:54.000 Ryan James Gurdusky comes out and he was the original one that called out Senator Rick Scott's plan.
00:07:04.000 It would give the following to DACA recipients or illegals domiciled into our country.
00:07:14.000 It would give them potentially a pathway to citizenship.
00:07:19.000 That is a no-go.
00:07:22.000 Absolutely not, which means eventually they can vote.
00:07:24.000 That's why the Democrats are so excited to get this deal done.
00:07:27.000 Now, Senator Rick Scott has all this stuff around extra border security.
00:07:31.000 Who enforces the laws?
00:07:34.000 The executive branch.
00:07:36.000 Do you think the Biden administration will actually implement this law from Congress?
00:07:41.000 They'll slow walk it.
00:07:43.000 They'll get their amnesty and they will reappropriate the money and they will not follow these laws and it'll get tied up in the courts with some Obama-Biden judge and they'll get their way.
00:07:58.000 Anyone who believes that you can do an immigration deal with the Democrats is so unbelievably naive.
00:08:03.000 Now, why are they doing this?
00:08:05.000 Well, because the Chamber of Commerce, who runs a significant portion of the Republican Party, they want more illegals into the country so they can bring down wages so they don't have to pay American workers and more people to go buy their piles of plastic garbage that they import from Wuhan.
00:08:23.000 That's why.
00:08:24.000 It's a consumer-based economy where we aren't making significant hardware investments, where you don't make things thoughtfully or deliberately.
00:08:33.000 Instead, we go have mountains of stuff that we're never going to use in a massive labor arbitrage where five or six companies get so wealthy that it's incomprehensible.
00:08:46.000 Bezos is worth $150 billion.
00:08:49.000 The Louis Vuitton guy is worth $134 billion.
00:08:52.000 The Walton family is worth $150 billion.
00:08:55.000 And I'm a free market guy.
00:08:56.000 I'm a capitalist.
00:08:57.000 God bless them for making money, but they didn't even make it within the free market guidelines.
00:09:01.000 Walmart makes money through food stamps.
00:09:04.000 They're one of the largest processors of EBT in the entire country.
00:09:09.000 Bezos makes money through a taxpayer-funded shipping and delivery mechanism, also paying no federal income tax, and all this money is made from servers to destroy small businesses in our country.
00:09:21.000 And so, what is the priority of Senator Rick Scott?
00:09:23.000 I know, let's go legalize a couple million people in our country who studies will show that's just future Democrat voters.
00:09:31.000 That's basically it.
00:09:33.000 Believe it or not, Hispanics didn't vote for amnesty this last election cycle.
00:09:37.000 And so, in this bill, or in this story, I should say, around this, what's okay, this is TampaBay.com.
00:09:43.000 I know that area very well.
00:09:45.000 It talks about how Senator Rick Scott is working alongside Democrats.
00:09:51.000 Big mistake.
00:09:52.000 You see, this is not the 1980s or the 1990s where they were honest Democrats.
00:09:56.000 The Democrats have now showed us that Joe Biden's call for unity was a con job, it was a mirage, it was a sleight of hand, a Houdini trick to try to get you distracted and have take your eye off what the Democrats are actually doing.
00:10:15.000 There's one of the main reasons why Joe Biden is so unbelievably boring: they want to lull you to sleep while their plunder and their theft is happening on the American people, happening on you.
00:10:27.000 And so, Rick Scott has a false premise.
00:10:30.000 His premise is that we can work with Democrats.
00:10:33.000 I wish we could.
00:10:34.000 We can't.
00:10:35.000 These Democrats have showed us they do not want to work with us.
00:10:38.000 They're trying to catch up for lost time of the Trump presidency.
00:10:42.000 They want men to go in women's locker rooms.
00:10:44.000 They want all the stuff we've talked about.
00:10:46.000 And so, this story, immigration overhaul bill may reform Florida farm working conditions.
00:10:53.000 And Senator Rick Scott shows that he's working alongside Democrats to try and put amnesty.
00:10:59.000 Now, Democrats did not work alongside Republicans on the stimulus bill, which never should have been passed, which was a massive multi-trillion dollar handout to every single Democrat crony donor group.
00:11:16.000 Democrats did not work alongside Republicans when it came to HR5 or adding D.C. as a state.
00:11:23.000 But for whatever reason, Republicans always wanting to be liked by Democrats.
00:11:27.000 And I want to give probably the benefit of the doubt here to Rick Scott.
00:11:31.000 I think he's probably a generally really good person, and he believes in this utopian political vision that we all want the same thing, we can all work together.
00:11:39.000 This is brass knuckle politics.
00:11:42.000 This is the way American politics work right now.
00:11:44.000 If you don't have the majority, nothing's going to get done.
00:11:47.000 Oppose everything.
00:11:48.000 Use it as a PR stump.
00:11:50.000 Basically, focus on state-based reforms and get power back.
00:11:53.000 It's that simple.
00:11:56.000 I wish it wasn't the case.
00:11:57.000 I wish we could have these wonderful bipartisan agreements on things that are the best for the country.
00:12:02.000 That's not the case.
00:12:03.000 We all know that's not the case.
00:12:04.000 Only if you live in Washington, D.C., could you believe the opposite?
00:12:08.000 If you spend enough time around that kingdom, around that wasteland, could you possibly ever believe, you know, I think Senator Chris Coons and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse are good people.
00:12:18.000 Okay, they might be nice golf partners, but they want the bitter and total destruction of the country.
00:12:24.000 And they want it through immigration.
00:12:26.000 Immigration has always been the Democrats' long-sought objective.
00:12:32.000 Reagan said that the Simpson-Mazzoli Act, which was mass amnesty, was the greatest mistake of his wonderful presidency.
00:12:42.000 Everyone's mother always says, eat all your vegetables.
00:12:44.000 Even as adults, we still have excuses why we don't eat them.
00:12:47.000 They taste terrible.
00:12:48.000 It's so much trouble to prepare.
00:12:50.000 Fresh fruits and vegetables are so expensive.
00:12:52.000 Your mom wanted you to eat your fruits and vegetables because she knew that's how we get and stay healthy.
00:12:57.000 While your mom never listened to your excuses, Balance of Nature has listened.

00:13:42.000 So Senator Rick Scott is trying to put forward an amnesty deal that very well could contribute to the downfall of America.
00:13:50.000 One of the main groups behind this is, of course, the United States Chamber of Congress, as well as this group, the Agricultural Workers Group.
00:14:03.000 The name of the group is the Florida Farm Bureau.
00:14:06.000 While we think that the U.S. Citizenship Act will not become law as it's written today, it starts an important conversation we've encouraged for decades.
00:14:13.000 Our farm workers and employees in Florida, agricultural, agriculture, are critical to the sustainability and vitality of our rural communities.
00:14:20.000 That is why fair common sense reforms must be adopted for a severely antiquated system.
00:14:24.000 We look forward to moving past partisanship on this issue and striving for a serious approach to our agricultural labor challenges in this Congress.
00:14:30.000 Labor challenges around agriculture are mostly a lie.
00:14:34.000 South Dakota demonstrated that this last summer where they did not have any immigrants allowed into the state of South Dakota.
00:14:40.000 All the needs were met.
00:14:41.000 Wages had to be increased a little bit to allow high schoolers and other people into the labor force.
00:14:47.000 But this idea that many of the corporations put forward that we need massive open borders to accommodate the agricultural needs is not true.
00:14:57.000 And also, it's unbelievably insulting to people that come to America that the only thing that they're possibly good for is to go pick vegetables or fruits.
00:15:08.000 That's what liberals say and the Chamber of Commerce says.
00:15:11.000 So you know that President Trump did historically well with Hispanics and Latino voters despite not promising amnesty.
00:15:20.000 So Mitt Romney promised some form of amnesty and he did worse.
00:15:24.000 John McCain, the same thing.
00:15:26.000 Donald Trump promises a wall and strict immigration and actually implemented it.
00:15:31.000 And he did four points better with Latinos from 2016 and he did 11 points better in Florida.
00:15:38.000 So, Senator Rick Scott, you represent the state of Florida.
00:15:42.000 Are you willing to listen or look at the trend that actually Latino voters do not want an unlimited flow of people into our country?
00:15:50.000 And they do not want mass legalization for people that broke our laws to come into America.
00:15:58.000 You see, Senator Rick Scott, in Miami, there are Cubans, Venezuelans, Argentinians that have become Americans, and they came here the right way.
00:16:08.000 And they look at the DACA people and the parents that brought them there, and they think, wait a second, I had to wait in line.
00:16:16.000 Why does my senator want to give mass amnesty to these people?
00:16:20.000 Let them cut in line, which would be a gift to the Democrat Party.
00:16:25.000 And it's not what Hispanics are voting for.
00:16:27.000 When given the opportunity, Hispanics are trending in the direction, especially around the Rio Grande Valley, to argue for stronger borders and stricter flow of people.
00:16:38.000 The Washington Post says this: the clearest sign and signal of this dynamic comes from South Texas.
00:16:45.000 Trump's vote share jumped massively in rural areas, heavily Hispanic counties across the state's border, suggesting that some of Trump's appeal to rural, working-class, traditionalist white voters bled over to a demographically similar Latino voters.
00:17:01.000 As a former Roma Texas mayor, Freddie Guerra told the Wall Street Journal: There's a lot of parallels between a community that is 96% Hispanic and a community that's 96% white.
00:17:13.000 Well, that dispels all the ideas that somehow there's some sort of white supremacist insurrection in the country.
00:17:19.000 The Washington Post published this.
00:17:21.000 Wait, so you're trying to tell me that a 96% white county wants the same policies as a 96% Latino county?
00:17:27.000 So much for this whole white nationalist narrative that the Washington Post is trying to put forward.
00:17:31.000 And look, I can understand the temptation that Senator Rick Scott is feeling.
00:17:35.000 A lot of pressure from the Chamber of Commerce groups, a lot of pressure from Big Ag, a lot of pressure from his Democrat colleagues.
00:17:41.000 He wants to be liked.
00:17:42.000 He thinks this is the right thing for America.
00:17:45.000 It isn't.
00:17:46.000 And some people say, well, what about the DACA kids that were brought here illegally?
00:17:49.000 First of all, many of them came here when they were 13, 14, or 15 years old.
00:17:54.000 They weren't just carried over the Rio Grande Valley when they were two years old.
00:17:58.000 And many of them are now 30 or 35 years old, and there's plenty of crimes being committed by DACA recipients.
00:18:04.000 However, there is no argument in my worldview or the correct worldview of constitutional law to make mass exceptions to the law as it is written, especially when it comes to immigration.
00:18:21.000 It would basically say to the entire rest of the world that we do not care about who comes into our country.
00:18:31.000 Now, I wish that Republicans, when we had the House of Representatives and the Senate in 2016, when the corporate spokesperson, Paul Ryan, was running the House of Representatives, I wish we would have taken immigration more seriously.
00:18:47.000 A lot of these problems could have been solved.
00:18:49.000 We are not in a problem-solving moment right now.
00:18:52.000 We are in a very fragile political moment when Democrats are now basically saying, we have more votes than you, and we will do whatever it takes to be in power permanently.
00:19:06.000 There is a reason why Democrats are passing HR1 while simultaneously trying to cut a deal for amnesty.
00:19:15.000 HR1 would do mass voter registration, House Resolution 1, for every single person that has a driver's license and every single person that is in the prison bureau system, and basically every beating heart in all of North America would be a registered voter.
00:19:37.000 And so when I see Republicans go out of their way to try and take your guns and weapons away, like Adam Kinzinger and seven other Republicans, and pass mass amnesty, and then alongside that, they say that they're going to their number one priority is trying to repeal the estate tax as we went through yesterday.
00:20:04.000 I'm not surprised when I see the younger generation become more socialist.
00:20:10.000 You see, many times people say, well, why are students becoming socialists?
00:20:14.000 They just want free stuff.
00:20:16.000 I say, Republicans are not actually articulating a vision of a nation, of a country, of a vision and an agenda that young people want to get behind.
00:20:27.000 What's the agenda that Republicans articulating?
00:20:30.000 Open borders.
00:20:33.000 Take your weapons away.
00:20:35.000 No freedom at all whatsoever.
00:20:36.000 You can't speak your mind.
00:20:38.000 If the Republican Party is going to be a Chamber of Commerce corporate spokesperson party, they will have no political future at all whatsoever.
00:20:46.000 You want to know why young people are tempted by socialism?
00:20:51.000 Because they are worried about a corporate oligarchy that has set itself into a permanent power position in our country.
00:20:59.000 And the only people that talk about challenging that corporate oligarchy are the socialists.
00:21:05.000 Their diagnosis at times is correct.
00:21:07.000 Their remedies are immoral and foolish and backwards.
00:21:12.000 Our remedies as conservatives are, hey, let's rebuild the American family.
00:21:18.000 Let's not have Amazon have a $1 trillion power advantage over small businesses.
00:21:24.000 That's not healthy.
00:21:26.000 We believe in private property, but we don't believe in a Bezos-created intergalactic intercontinental empire, literally intergalactic with what he's trying to do to go to space.
00:21:36.000 How does that help American conservatism?
00:21:38.000 How does that help the flourishing of American families?
00:21:41.000 It doesn't.
00:21:43.000 And when you become a spokesperson for those very same corporate interests, don't be shocked when all of a sudden young people embrace socialism.
00:21:54.000 One of the reasons why Bernie Sanders was popular was because he was authentic in his crusade up against powerful interests.
00:22:03.000 Now, Bernie Sanders made a very foolish political decision in the last five years.
00:22:10.000 He decided to no longer represent or articulate pro-American immigration policy.
00:22:17.000 You know, Bernie Sanders used to talk about how the Koch brothers and certain corporate interests wanted a free flow of immigrants into the United States, an unfettered flow, a nonstop flow.
00:22:30.000 Now Bernie Sanders says we should open up our borders.
00:22:32.000 The minute Bernie Sanders did that, he actually lost a massive opportunity.
00:22:38.000 You see, if Bernie Sanders and the socialists were smart, they won't do this because they've decided to make a different political calculus than one that would actually benefit them, is they've decided to play into the woke industrial complex, oppression Olympics, open borders, and the deterioration of the country.
00:22:55.000 What was very popular in Vermont and in the rest of the country is, you know what?
00:23:01.000 We think corporations are too powerful.
00:23:04.000 And we also think that immigration policies are not helping the working class.
00:23:09.000 So this presents this huge opportunity.
00:23:11.000 And guess who capitalized on it?
00:23:14.000 Donald Trump did.
00:23:16.000 At every opportunity, the American people are voting for stricter immigration and less immigrants coming into America.
00:23:23.000 We have the most benevolent, generous immigration policies on the planet.
00:23:28.000 Over 1 million green cards are issued every single year.
00:23:32.000 Not to mention the illegals that border jump into America.
00:23:35.000 But when Republicans go out of their way to try to say we need more mass amnesty in a time when we are in a very fragile political environment, where we are just teetering on the edge, then I can't help but not feel sorry for any sort of political loss that those Republicans end up having to endure.
00:23:58.000 And we have seen what courage gets you in the last year.
00:24:02.000 Ron DeSantis, rising popularity and phenomenal results.
00:24:10.000 Trying to cooperate and work with the Democrats on an issue as sensitive, as literally as here who is going to be in our country and involve themselves in federal elections.
00:24:22.000 You should be very careful trying to do deals with people where all they care about is power.
00:24:26.000 And you're trying to tell me the Democrats are going to negotiate in good faith?
00:24:30.000 We're supposed to believe that the Democrats who tear up Trump's State of the Union address, who call half the country insurrectionists, who want to take your weapons away, who are now doing iron fist style politics, those are the people that we want to negotiate with, they had their window of negotiation.
00:24:51.000 They had their opportunity to work in good faith with us.
00:24:54.000 Now, it's time, unfortunately, for us to do what the Democrats did to us back in 2016 and 18, which is we're going to say no to everything and hope we get back in power.
00:25:06.000 I wish that wasn't the case, by the way.
00:25:08.000 I wish that we could come to cooperation.
00:25:11.000 When I see this mass amnesty deal floating through Congress, I only hope that all of you that are watching and listening will contact everyone, including Senator Rick Scott in the Republican Party and say, if you vote for amnesty and the legalization of people that are here against the laws of our country, then the Republican Party is over.
00:25:33.000 The Republican Party must be the pro-American party, not the pro-Chamber of Commerce Party or the mass legalization of immigrants party.
00:25:43.000 If you're a college basketball fan, the NCAA tournament, March Madness is your favorite time of year.
00:25:49.000 Game-winning buzzer beater shots, Cinderella programs knocking out dynasty programs.
00:25:53.000 March Madness is known for drama, and I love every minute of it.
00:25:57.000 In recent years, one of the little-known inspiring March Madness stories was the rise of UConn's basketball program under Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun.
00:26:06.000 Boring to Lead is the newest film on Salem Now, showcasing Jim Calhoun's and University of Connecticut's story.
00:26:14.000 From losing his father at a young age, instantaneously becoming the man of his family as a teenager, to his rise to the coaching ranks and eventually leading UConn to three national championships, Boring to Lead features interviews from Mike Shyszewski, Jim Bayheim, former UConn and NBA superstars Rick Hamilton and Ray Allen.

00:26:45.000 Politico.com.
00:26:46.000 The government's lawyers saw Google a monopoly coming.
00:26:49.000 Their bosses refused to sue.
00:26:51.000 Quote, federal investigators were convinced Google's push to take over the mobile internet searches was illegal.
00:26:57.000 They had the evidence and urged their bosses to sue, but those politically appointed bosses overruled them.
00:27:02.000 This is back under Obama.
00:27:04.000 Now, conveniently, many former Obama administration officials have gone to go work for these tech companies, Google included.
00:27:13.000 There is a White House to Menlo Park pipeline in this country.
00:27:19.000 If you work in the White House, you can go work for Google.
00:27:21.000 You work for Google, you go work for the White House.
00:27:24.000 This is a stunning story that goes to show the government had Google in a very vulnerable position.
00:27:32.000 Google's a monopoly.
00:27:34.000 92% of all search results go through Google, 92%.
00:27:41.000 However, the federal regulators decided to do nothing.
00:27:47.000 A George W. Bush administration FTC commissioner who reviewed the 2012 documents said this, quote, I always assumed the staff memo was not so specific, direct, and clear about the path ahead.
00:27:59.000 A lot of the Department of Justice case is in there.
00:28:01.000 It's really breathtaking.
00:28:03.000 If you go through this story on politico.com, it's a very specific story.
00:28:08.000 It's very detailed.
00:28:10.000 But the essence is this, is that the government, the federal government, the lower levels of the Federal Trade Commission, the FTC, and the Department of Justice, they had Google dead to rights.
00:28:22.000 They had Google that very well could have broke up their leviathan monopoly that they now enjoy today.
00:28:30.000 Google might only control 30% of the search market if the government would have done their job.
00:28:36.000 And so the government lawyers had it all ready to go.
00:28:38.000 And someone killed this.
00:28:41.000 Someone within our government said, no, let Google become the most powerful institution on the planet.
00:28:46.000 The government did that, everybody.
00:28:48.000 This is a government-created monopoly.
00:28:50.000 So all you libertarians out there, they're like, oh, free market.
00:28:54.000 This is the absence of a free market.
00:28:56.000 This is the government that saw that Google was doing something illegal and they decided not to do anything.
00:29:02.000 This is page after page after page of information.
00:29:08.000 And one of the big revelations here is that Google pays Apple $12 billion a year to be the default web browser on Apple iPhones, $12 billion a year.
00:29:21.000 That's collusion.
00:29:23.000 These are things that we have very specific laws about racketeering, about businesses using their incumbent advantage to stifle competition.
00:29:38.000 And competition is fundamental to a free market.
00:29:41.000 This is not a free market at all.
00:29:46.000 And so right now, there needs to be congressional hearings into Google and into the former Federal Trade Commission to find out who got paid off.
00:29:59.000 In one October 2012 memo, 18 FTC lawyers and paralegals told the commissioners that Google controlled 97% of the global market for mobile search, that its contracts of phone providers made a default search engine for 86% of all smartphones.
00:30:15.000 They saw this beast coming.
00:30:18.000 They had an argument against it.
00:30:21.000 They could have liberated the search market, which would have made America and our political environment and our country a much more decent and stable place.
00:30:30.000 But what happened under the Obama administration is they saw that they had Google in a vulnerable position.
00:30:39.000 And I guarantee you, here's what happened.
00:30:42.000 The Obama administration went out to Google and they said, hey, we're going to let you go, but you're going to protect us when we need you.
00:30:49.000 And there was a deal cut.
00:30:52.000 And Google said, thank you.
00:30:55.000 And the masters of Menlo Park were given a hall pass.
00:30:59.000 They were given a pardon, if you will, a secret pardon from the Obama administration.
00:31:06.000 And this is where the marriage between Menlo Park and the Democrat Party was created.
00:31:14.000 The lack of an investigation and the lack of the enforcement of the law is what created Google to be the planet's most powerful company.
00:31:24.000 It's time to look into this and reverse it.
00:31:27.000 This is a bombshell story.
