00:00:07.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:10.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:11.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:12.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:00:14.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:21.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:00:29.000 That's why we are here.
00:00:32.000 Hey, everybody.
00:00:33.000 President Donald Trump has just finished his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC.
00:00:40.000 I have a couple thoughts about his speech that I'm going to share with you right now, and then we are going to air his speech right here, uninterrupted, no commercials, for you to hear it yourself.
00:00:52.000 I think it's very important that every person listens to what he has to say.
00:00:57.000 It was a very interesting speech.
00:00:58.000 I thought it was a phenomenal speech.
00:01:00.000 It was a policy-rich speech.
00:01:03.000 Now, this podcast is made possible by all of you.
00:01:06.000 We are a supporter-inspired, a supporter-led show.
00:01:13.000 We are able to do what we do thanks to our supporters.
00:01:16.000 So, if you want to get behind what we are doing, please go to charliekirk.com/slash support.
00:01:22.000 I have 12 immediate takeaways from President Trump's speech.
00:01:26.000 Number one, President Trump made it clear that, quote, I am not starting a new party.
00:01:31.000 You will hear that early on in the speech, dismissing and dispelling all the rumors around President Trump trying to start the Patriot Party.
00:01:42.000 Number two, you will find throughout this speech that President Trump was overall in control.
00:01:48.000 He was very deliberate.
00:01:49.000 In fact, I would say he was more measured than some of the speeches he gave towards the end of the election and in December and early January.
00:01:58.000 Throughout this speech, it becomes more and more clear that President Trump was becoming a direct critic of Biden.
00:02:06.000 I'm going to get to that more in just a second.
00:02:08.000 And then President Trump jokes around that, well, we might have to win a third time, almost foreshadowing and previewing that he's going to run again in 2024.
00:02:18.000 My guess, based on my private conversations with him and just based on everything that I saw with him today and how much he enjoyed it, Donald Trump is going to be in politics for the foreseeable future, maybe even the next decade.
00:02:32.000 My fifth takeaway is that Donald Trump was establishing a clear, documented, and factual record of all the successes from his administration, clearing the record that, hey, it was my administration that got the vaccine done.
00:02:46.000 It was my administration that handled immigration properly.
00:02:49.000 It was my administration that was ending the endless wars.
00:02:53.000 And the sixth takeaway, and you'll hear this, is the I Told You So.
00:02:57.000 Basically saying, I tried to warn you about all of Joe Biden's corrupt business deals.
00:03:03.000 I tried to warn you about Joe Biden's weakness.
00:03:07.000 The I Told You So refrain was done, I thought, perfectly.
00:03:11.000 I thought it was done with a little bit of humor.
00:03:15.000 It was not done sarcastically, but it was done with just enough levity where the listener was able to laugh and chuckle about the dangerous direction our country is currently heading in, but with a little bit of optimism that we might be able to turn it around.
00:03:34.000 The seventh takeaway was that the Democrats are now on defense.
00:03:38.000 So I'm going to make a prediction.
00:03:39.000 The only way that the media and the Democrats will be able to spin this will be by character assassinating Republicans and Donald Trump.
00:03:51.000 They will continue to focus on the capital tragedy attack of January 6th, as that is their only response to the factual and the deliberate and the evidence-based critique that Donald Trump just offered as his first public appearance since leaving the White House.
00:04:13.000 The eighth takeaway is that the media and the Democrats are now kind of very happy.
00:04:20.000 They're going to be happy that they no longer have to just focus on what Joe Biden is doing, and they can now focus on Trump.
00:04:27.000 They have an almost non-stop, overly inflated profit model that is wholly dependent on Donald Trump being involved in American politics.
00:04:37.000 However, the more measured that Trump is, the more factual he is about the failures of the Biden administration, they're going to have to air those.
00:04:48.000 The ninth takeaway was that Trump mentions throughout the speech, and you'll hear this, this idea of what is Trumpism?
00:04:54.000 What is Trumpism?
00:04:56.000 Essentially, President Trump, I think, did a better job in this speech than at many moments throughout his campaign of clearly explaining what I would call the MAGA doctrine, immigration that benefits the American citizens, ending the endless wars, giving representation to middle-class workers, unafraid to challenge entrenched corporate interests.
00:05:21.000 The tenth takeaway was that President Trump mentioned election integrity, but he did not hyper-focus on it or hyper-fixate on it.
00:05:29.000 Instead, he said, quote, this must be fixed immediately, which is the 11th takeaway, was that President Trump gave specific solutions on how to fix our elections.
00:05:39.000 This is something that I talked about with him privately at Mar-a-Lago a couple days ago.
00:05:43.000 I said, please be positive in how you talk about our elections.
00:05:47.000 People agree that the election was tampered with and interfered with, but you must be specific in how we actually go about fixing it.
00:05:58.000 And finally, the 12th takeaway was that President Trump talked about big tech censorship, about the need to challenge the tech companies in our country.
00:06:08.000 And the final takeaway, I guess you could call it the 13th takeaway, lucky number 13, was that President Trump looked and sounded more optimistic, happier, and more forward-thinking than our current president.
00:06:22.000 If he keeps this up, maybe with an appearance every couple weeks, and remains as a factual critic of the current administration and giving people hope that better days can be ahead with conservative policies, Republicans will take back the House in 2022 if we fix our elections.
00:06:41.000 We will take back the Senate.
00:06:44.000 This sort of speech was exactly what we needed.
00:06:48.000 It was not nasty.
00:06:50.000 It was not meandering.
00:06:52.000 It was focused.
00:06:54.000 It was factual.
00:06:55.000 And quite honestly, the Democrats and the media are now going to be reeling because they would have loved to see Donald Trump go 40 minutes name-calling and trying to sow division in the Republican Party.
00:07:08.000 Trump did the opposite.
00:07:10.000 He tried to bring the Republican Party together.
00:07:13.000 So please enjoy this speech from Donald Trump.
00:07:16.000 I encourage all of you to listen to it in its entirety.
00:07:20.000 And at the very end of the episode, we're going to have a giveaway.

00:08:22.000 So sit back, relax.
00:08:24.000 Well, if you're driving, don't sit back and relax.
00:08:26.000 But wherever you are, enjoy the return of the dump.
00:08:32.000 Hello, CPAC.
00:08:33.000 Do you miss me yet?
00:08:34.000 Do you miss me?
00:08:39.000 A lot of things going on.
00:08:43.000 To so many wonderful friends, conservatives, and fellow citizens in this room and all across our country, I stand before you today to declare that the incredible journey we begun together, we went through a journey like nobody else.
00:08:59.000 There's never been a journey like it.
00:09:01.000 There's never been a journey so successful.
00:09:04.000 We began it together four years ago, and it is far from being over.
00:09:10.000 We've just started.
00:09:19.000 Our movement of proud, hard working, and you know what this is, the hardest working people, hardworking American patriots, is just getting started.
00:09:29.000 And in the end, we will win.
00:09:32.000 We will win.
00:09:36.000 We've been doing a lot of winning.
00:09:39.000 As we gather this week, we're in the middle of a historic struggle for America's future, America's culture, and America's institutions, and America's institutions, borders, and most cherished principles.
00:09:53.000 Our security, our prosperity, and our very identity as Americans is at stake, like perhaps at no other time.
00:10:03.000 So no matter how much the Washington establishment and the powerful special interests may want to silence us, let there be no doubt we will be victorious and America will be stronger and greater than ever before.
00:10:25.000 I want to thank my great friends, Matt and Mercedes Schlapp.
00:10:31.000 Matt, thank you.
00:10:33.000 Thank you.
00:10:33.000 Mercedes, thank you very much.
00:10:35.000 And the American Conservative Union for hosting this extraordinary event.
00:10:40.000 They're talking about it all over the world, Matt.
00:10:42.000 I know you don't like that, but that's okay.
00:10:44.000 All over the world.
00:10:46.000 I also want to pay my love and respect to the great Rush Limbaugh, who is watching closely and smiling down on us.
00:11:07.000 He's watching and he's loving it and he loves Catherine.
00:11:11.000 Catherine, thank you for being here.
00:11:13.000 Thank you, Catherine.
00:11:13.000 So great.
00:11:15.000 He loved you, Catherine.
00:11:16.000 I will tell you that.
00:11:19.000 So fantastic.
00:11:20.000 Thank you, Catherine, very much.
00:11:22.000 To each and every one of you here at CPAC, I am more grateful to you than you will ever know.
00:11:30.000 We are gathered this afternoon to talk about the future of our movement, the future of our party, and the future of our beloved country.
00:11:39.000 For the next four years, the brave Republicans in this room will be at the heart of the effort to oppose the radical Democrats, the fake news media, and their toxic cancel culture, something new to our ears, cancel culture.
00:11:57.000 And I want you to know that I'm going to continue to fight right by your side.
00:12:03.000 We will do what we've done right from the beginning, which is to win.
00:12:09.000 We're not starting new parties.
00:12:14.000 You know, they kept saying, he's going to start a brand new party.
00:12:18.000 We have the Republican Party.
00:12:20.000 It's going to unite and be stronger than ever before.
00:12:23.000 I am not starting a new party.
00:12:26.000 That was fake news.
00:12:28.000 Fake news.
00:12:29.000 No.
00:12:30.000 Wouldn't that be brilliant?
00:12:31.000 Let's start a new party and let's divide our vote so that you can never win.
00:12:36.000 No, we're not interested in that.
00:12:37.000 Now, we have tremendous.
00:12:40.000 Mr. McLaughlin just gave me numbers that nobody's ever heard of before.
00:12:45.000 More popular than anybody.
00:12:46.000 That's all of us.
00:12:47.000 It's all of us.
00:12:48.000 Those are great numbers, and I want to thank you very much.
00:12:51.000 Those are incredible numbers.
00:12:52.000 I came here and he was giving me 95%, 97%, 92%.
00:12:58.000 I said, they're great.
00:12:59.000 And I want to thank everybody in this room and everybody all throughout the country, throughout the world, if you want to really know the truth.
00:13:06.000 Thank you, Doe.
00:13:07.000 Thank you.
00:13:10.000 We will be united and strong like never before.
00:13:13.000 We will save and strengthen America and we will fight the onslaught of radicalism, socialism, and indeed it all leads to communism once and for all.
00:13:24.000 That's what it leads to.
00:13:26.000 You'll be hearing more and more about that as we go along, but that's what it leads to.
00:13:30.000 You know that.
00:13:31.000 We all knew that the Biden administration was going to be bad, but none of us even imagined just how bad they would be and how far left they would go.
00:13:42.000 He never talked about this.
00:13:44.000 We would have those wonderful debates.
00:13:46.000 He would never talk about this.
00:13:47.000 We didn't know what the hell he was talking about, actually.
00:13:55.000 His campaign was all lies.
00:13:57.000 Talked about energy.
00:13:58.000 I thought, I said, you know, this guy actually, he's okay with energy.
00:14:01.000 He wasn't okay with energy.
00:14:03.000 He wants to put you all out of business.
00:14:04.000 He's not okay with energy.
00:14:06.000 He wants windmills, the windmills, the windmills that don't work when you need them.
00:14:12.000 Joe Biden has had the most disastrous first month of any president in modern history.
00:14:18.000 That's true.
00:14:21.000 Already the Biden administration has proven that they are anti-jobs, anti-family, anti-borders, anti-energy, anti-women, and anti-science.
00:14:39.000 In just one short month, we have gone from America first to America last.
00:14:47.000 You think about it, right?
00:14:48.000 America last.
00:14:50.000 There's no better example than the new and horrible crisis on our southern border.
00:14:56.000 We did such a good job.
00:14:57.000 It was all worked.
00:14:59.000 Nobody's ever seen anything like we did, and now he wants it all to go to hell.
00:15:04.000 When I left office just six weeks ago, we had created the most secure border in U.S. history.
00:15:13.000 We had built almost 500 miles of great border wall that helped us with these numbers because once it's up, you know, they used to say a wall doesn't work.
00:15:25.000 Well, you know what I've always said?
00:15:27.000 Walls and wheels.
00:15:29.000 Those are two things that will never change.
00:15:31.000 The wall has been amazing.
00:15:33.000 It's been incredible.
00:15:34.000 And little sections of it to complete, they don't want to complete it.
00:15:37.000 They don't want to complete little sections in certain little areas they don't want to complete, but it's had an impact that nobody would have even believed.
00:15:46.000 It's amazing considering that the Democrats' number one priority was to make sure that the wall would never ever get built, would never ever happen, would never get financed.
00:15:57.000 We got it financed.
00:15:58.000 We ended catch and release, ended asylum fraud, and brought illegal crossings to historic lows.
00:16:08.000 When illegal aliens trespass across our borders, they were promptly caught, detained, and sent back home.
00:16:16.000 And these were some rough customers, I want to tell you, some rough customers were entering our country.
00:16:23.000 It took the new administration only a few weeks to turn this unprecedented accomplishment into a self-inflicted humanitarian and national security disaster.
00:16:35.000 By recklessly eliminating our border, security measures, controls, all of the things that we put into place, Joe Biden has triggered a massive flood of illegal immigration into our country, the likes of which we have never seen before.
00:16:52.000 They're coming up by the tens of thousands.
00:16:55.000 They're all coming to take advantage of the things that he said that's luring everybody to come to America.
00:17:05.000 And we're one country.
00:17:06.000 We can't afford the problems of the world as much as we'd love to.
00:17:11.000 We'd love to help, but we can't do that.
00:17:13.000 So they're all coming because of promises and foolish words.
00:17:18.000 Perhaps worst of all, Joe Biden's decision to cancel border security has single-handedly launched a youth migrant crisis that is enriching child smugglers, vicious criminal cartels, and some of the most evil people on the planet.
00:17:35.000 You see it every day.
00:17:36.000 Just turn on the news.
00:17:38.000 You'll see it every day.
00:17:39.000 Under my administration, we stopped the child smugglers.
00:17:43.000 We dismantled the criminal cartels.
00:17:45.000 We greatly limited drug and human trafficking to a level that nobody actually thought was possible.
00:17:52.000 And the wall helped us a lot.
00:17:54.000 And we protected vulnerable people from the ravages of dangerous predators.
00:18:01.000 And that's what they are: dangerous, dangerous predators.
00:18:05.000 But the Biden administration has put the vile coyotes back in business, and it has done so in a very, very big way.
00:18:14.000 Under the new administration, catch and release has been restored.
00:18:19.000 Can you imagine?
00:18:20.000 We worked so hard.
00:18:21.000 Catch, you know where that is.
00:18:23.000 You catch them, you take their name.
00:18:25.000 They may be killers, they may be rapists, they may be drug smugglers.
00:18:31.000 You take their name and you release them into our country.
00:18:34.000 We did the opposite.
00:18:36.000 We not only didn't release them, we had them brought back to their country.
00:18:39.000 Illegal immigrants are now being apprehended and released along the entire southern border, just the opposite of what it was two months ago.
00:18:50.000 They weren't coming because they couldn't get in.
00:18:52.000 Once they think they can get in, they're coming, and they are coming at levels that you haven't even seen yet.
00:18:58.000 By the hundreds of thousands, by the millions, they'll be coming.
00:19:01.000 The Biden administration is now actively expediting the admission of illegal migrants, enabling them to lodge frivolous asylum claims and admitting them by the thousands and thousands and thousands a day crowded together in unsanitary conditions despite the ongoing economic and public health crisis, COVID-19, or, as I call it, the China virus.
00:19:33.000 There's no masks.
00:19:35.000 There's no double masks.
00:19:36.000 That was a new one that came out two weeks ago.
00:19:40.000 First Fauci said, you don't need masks, no masks, no good, no one earth.
00:19:45.000 Then all of a sudden he wants me, now he wants double masks.
00:19:48.000 No social distancing, no nothing, no nothing.
00:19:54.000 They're together, and it's sad actually, and it's sad for them, and it's sad for our country.
00:20:00.000 What the Biden administration is doing to push young migrants into the hands of human traffickers and coyotes is dangerous, immoral, and indefensible.
00:20:10.000 Hard to believe it's happening.
00:20:12.000 Biden has failed in his number one duty as chief executive, enforcing America's laws.
00:20:23.000 This alone should be reason enough for Democrats to suffer withering losses in the midterms and to lose the White House decisively four years from now.
00:21:05.000 Actually, as you know, they just lost the White House, but it's one of those things.
00:21:10.000 But who knows?
00:21:12.000 Who knows?
00:21:14.000 I may even decide to beat them for a third time, okay?
00:21:19.000 Beautiful, great time.
00:21:26.000 Joe Biden defunded the border wall and stopped all future construction, even on small open sections that just needed to be finished up.
00:21:55.000 Routine little work.
00:21:56.000 It's already been bought.
00:21:58.000 Wait till the contractors get to them and they say, no, it costs us much more money not to finish the small section than if we finished it.
00:22:05.000 That's going to be nice.
00:22:05.000 Wait till you see those bills start pouring in.
00:22:09.000 He revoked the executive order cracking down on deadly sanctuary cities.
00:22:13.000 He has effectively ordered a shutdown of ICE, halting virtually all deportations.
00:22:19.000 Everyone, murderers, everybody, no more.
00:22:22.000 Let's not deport people.
00:22:24.000 And restricting our law enforcement professionals, and they are great professionals, you have many of them represented here today, from conducting almost any immigration enforcement of any kind.
00:22:37.000 The Biden policy of releasing criminals into the U.S. interior is making America into a sanctuary nation where criminals, illegal immigrants, including gang members and sex offenders, are set free into American communities.
00:22:52.000 They have no idea who's coming up.
00:22:54.000 And remember with the caravans, these countries, not only the three of them, but many, many countries all over the world, they're not giving us their best and their finest because they're intelligent.
00:23:07.000 They're not giving us their best and their finest.
00:23:11.000 Remember I said that.
00:23:12.000 I said that a long time ago when I made the first remarks when I came down the escalator with our great future First Lady who says hello, who loves you as much as I love you.
00:23:31.000 But I said that a long time ago, and we turned out to be 100% correct.
00:23:36.000 Biden's radical immigration policies aren't just illegal.
00:23:41.000 They're immoral, they're heartless, and they are a betrayal of our nation's core values.
00:23:46.000 It's a terrible thing that's happening.
00:23:50.000 The Republican Party must hold Joe Biden and the Democrats accountable.
00:23:56.000 They ripped up the diplomatic agreements we negotiated with Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador to shut down illegal immigration.
00:24:06.000 You know, they got a fortune.
00:24:07.000 They got paid $500 million a year.
00:24:11.000 When I came into office, those countries were refusing to take back illegal alien gang members, including MS-13, the most vicious, probably of them all.
00:24:22.000 No matter where you go in the world, MS-13, they do things that even the worst don't think about.
00:24:28.000 So I asked, how much do we pay these countries?
00:24:32.000 How much do we pay them?
00:24:34.000 Sir, we pay them approximately $500 million a year.
00:24:39.000 It's a lot of money.
00:24:41.000 I mean, it's peanuts compared to the way other countries rip us off, but that's a lot of money.
00:24:48.000 I said, okay, we aren't going to pay them anymore because they wouldn't take back the criminals.
00:24:54.000 And this was true with the Obama administration.
00:24:57.000 It was true for many, many years.
00:25:00.000 So we'd catch a murderer.
00:25:01.000 We'd want to bring him back to Guatemala or Honduras or El Salvador.
00:25:07.000 They wouldn't take them back.
00:25:08.000 No, we don't want them.
00:25:09.000 We'd fly them in, they wouldn't let the plane land.
00:25:11.000 We'd buss them in, they wouldn't let the buses get anywhere near the border.
00:25:15.000 And I said, we're not going to pay them anymore.
00:25:18.000 So after I said that, and I stopped payment, you know, like a term that we use in the world of business, let's stop payment.
00:25:25.000 So we stopped payment.
00:25:28.000 They were delinquent.
00:25:30.000 We stopped payment.
00:25:31.000 And they very quickly came to the table and we made a deal, very quick deal.
00:25:36.000 We still kept the money.
00:25:37.000 We still didn't pay because we made a deal.
00:25:45.000 And when illegal aliens came across our border, they were rapidly deported and lovingly accepted by those countries from where they came.
00:25:57.000 And it worked out great.
00:25:58.000 So now they accept the people.
00:26:00.000 And then we ultimately got along very well with those countries, those three countries, and many countries throughout the world because they respected us again.
00:26:06.000 They didn't respect us.
00:26:08.000 They couldn't believe what they were getting away with.
00:26:12.000 But now Joe Biden has wrecked this great deal, wrecked it.
00:26:17.000 And they're already doing what they were doing before, and they're taking the money.
00:26:22.000 And that's just a small portion of what's going on.
00:26:26.000 To top it all off, the Biden people are pushing a bill that would grant mass amnesty for millions of illegal aliens while massively expanding chain migration.
00:26:36.000 That's where you come in and everybody comes in, your grandmother, your father, your mother, your brother, your cousins.
00:26:44.000 They come in so easily.
00:26:46.000 So, so crazy.
00:26:48.000 So crazy.
00:26:49.000 It even requires that the U.S. government provide illegal border crossers with taxable funded lawyers.
00:26:56.000 Anybody need a good lawyer?
00:26:56.000 Lawyers.
00:26:57.000 You can't have one.
00:26:58.000 They get the lawyers.
00:26:59.000 They get lawyers.
00:27:00.000 They're probably very good, too.
00:27:02.000 The Democrat immigration bill is a globalist corporate.
00:27:06.000 You take a look at the corporatists.
00:27:09.000 Big tech attack on hardworking citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed.
00:27:14.000 And Republicans must ensure that it never is allowed to become federal law, which is what they want to do.
00:27:25.000 We must stand tall in the party.
00:27:30.000 We have to do this.
00:27:31.000 We have to stand tall as the party for law-abiding Americans and others when they're in our country.
00:27:39.000 Border security is just one of the many issues on which the new administration has already betrayed the American people.
00:27:46.000 He didn't talk about this stuff.
00:27:47.000 I debated him.
00:27:49.000 He wasn't talking about this.
00:27:50.000 He wasn't, what he signed with those executive orders, they weren't things that were discussed.
00:27:56.000 We didn't know all about him and the press because they're fake news.
00:28:00.000 They're the biggest fakers there are.
00:28:03.000 But the press refused to ask the questions.
00:28:09.000 And when I asked the questions on television, on the debate, Chris Wallace in this case and others refused to let him answer.
00:28:20.000 They refused to let him answer the questions.
00:28:23.000 Maybe we could have found something or if the media did its job, which they don't.
00:28:27.000 Their callous indifference to working family is equally clear when it comes to the critical matter of getting America's children back to school.
00:28:40.000 And they must get back and get back right now.
00:28:44.000 Right now.
00:28:46.000 Crazy.
00:28:52.000 Terrible.
00:28:55.000 Terrible.
00:28:56.000 The Biden administration is actually bragging about the classroom education they are providing to migrant children on the border, while at the same time, millions of American children are having their futures destroyed by Joe Biden's anti-science school closures.
00:29:14.000 Think of it.
00:29:15.000 We're educating students on the border, but our own people, the children of our citizens, citizens themselves, are not getting the education that they deserve.
00:29:29.000 There's no reason whatsoever why the vast majority of young Americans should not be back in school immediately.
00:29:41.000 The only reason that most parents do not have that choice is because Joe Biden sold out America's children to the teachers' unions.
00:29:56.000 His position is morally inexcusable.
00:29:58.000 You know that.
00:30:00.000 Joe Biden has shamefully betrayed America's youth, and he is cruelly keeping our children locked in their homes.
00:30:06.000 No reason for it whatsoever.
00:30:08.000 They want to get out.
00:30:11.000 They're cheating the next generations of Americans out of the future that they deserve, and they do deserve this future.
00:30:18.000 They're going to grow up, and they're going to have a scar.
00:30:22.000 It's a scandal of the highest order and one of the most craven acts by any president in our lifetimes.
00:30:29.000 It's the teachers' union, it's the votes, and it shouldn't happen.
00:30:34.000 And I have nobody has more respect for teachers than I do.
00:30:37.000 And I'll bet you a lot of the people within that union, they agree with everything I'm saying.
00:30:42.000 Even the New York Times is calling out the Democrats.
00:30:46.000 The mental and physical health of these young people is reaching a breaking point.
00:30:51.000 Tragically, suicide attempts have skyrocketed, and student depression is now commonplace and at levels that we've never seen before.
00:31:00.000 The Democrats now say we have to pass their $1.9 trillion boondoggle to open schools, but a very small part of it has to do with that.
00:31:10.000 You know where it's going.
00:31:11.000 It's going to bail out badly run Democrat cities, so much of it.
00:31:16.000 But billions of dollars for schools remain unspent from the COVID relief bills that were passed last year.
00:31:24.000 So on behalf of the moms, dads, and children of America, I call on Joe Biden to get the schools open and get them open now.
00:31:32.000 It would be a great thing to do.
00:31:45.000 When I left office, and we're very proud of this because this was something that they said could not be done, The FDA said it, everybody said it.
00:31:55.000 Any article you read said it couldn't be done.
00:31:57.000 It would be years and years.
00:31:59.000 I handed the new administration what everyone is now calling a modern-day medical miracle.
00:32:05.000 Some say it's the greatest thing to happen in hundreds of years, hundreds of years.
00:32:12.000 Two vaccines produced in record time with numerous others on the way, including the Johnson ⁇ Johnson vaccine that was approved just yesterday.
00:32:27.000 And therapeutic relief also, if you're sick, if you're sick, we have things now that are incredible, what has taken place over the last year under our administration.
00:32:38.000 It would have taken any other president at least five years, and we got it done in nine months.
00:32:44.000 Everyone says five years.
00:32:47.000 Five years.
00:32:51.000 Can you imagine if you had to go through what all of the countries of the world who are now getting the vaccine or soon will be getting it from various companies.
00:33:01.000 But can you imagine if all of those countries had to go through what they've been going through over the last year, you'd lose hundreds of millions of people.
00:33:12.000 I pushed the FDA like they have never been pushed before.
00:33:16.000 They told me that loud and clear.
00:33:19.000 They have never been pushed like I pushed them.
00:33:21.000 I didn't like them at all.
00:33:25.000 But once we got it done, I said, I now love you very much.
00:33:30.000 What the Trump administration has done with vaccines has in many respects perhaps saved large portions of the world, not only our country, but large portions of the world.
00:33:45.000 Not only did we push the FDA far beyond what the bureaucrats wanted to do, we also put up billions and billions of dollars, 10 billion, to produce the vaccines before we knew they were going to work.
00:33:59.000 It was called a calculated bet or a calculated risk.
00:34:03.000 We took a risk because if we didn't do that, you still wouldn't have the vaccines.
00:34:08.000 You wouldn't have them for a long time.
00:34:10.000 So think of that.
00:34:11.000 We took this bet.
00:34:12.000 We made a bet because we thought we were on a certain track.
00:34:16.000 But you'd be starting to make them right now.
00:34:18.000 It would be a long time before you ever saw them.
00:34:22.000 It takes 60 to 100 days to manufacture and inspect new doses.
00:34:27.000 And that means that 100% of the increased availability that we have now was initiated by our administration.
00:34:36.000 100%.
00:34:42.000 In fact, the director of National Institutes of Health, Francis Collins, he's Fauci's boss, actually.
00:34:51.000 I think he's a Democrat, too, by the way, recently said that our Operation Warp Speed was absolutely breathtaking and that the Trump administration deserves full credit, which we do.
00:35:10.000 And as conservatives and Republicans, never forget that we did it.
00:35:17.000 Never let them take the credit because they don't deserve the credit.
00:35:21.000 They just followed now, they're following our plan, but this has been something that they really call, they call it an absolute miracle.
00:35:31.000 Joe Biden is only implementing the plan that we put in place, and if we had an honest media, which we don't, they would say it loud and clear.
00:35:42.000 By the time I left that magnificent house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, almost 20 million Americans had already been vaccinated.
00:35:52.000 1.5 million doses were administered on my final day alone.
00:35:57.000 1.5 million in a day.
00:36:00.000 Yet Biden said just a few days ago that when he got here, meaning the White House, there was no vaccine.
00:36:09.000 He said there's no vaccine.
00:36:10.000 Oh, good.
00:36:12.000 Say it again, Joe.
00:36:15.000 Now, I don't think he said that, frankly, in a malicious way.
00:36:19.000 I really don't.
00:36:20.000 I actually believe he said that because he didn't really know what the hell was happening.
00:36:35.000 Never let them forget this was us.
00:36:37.000 We did this.
00:36:38.000 And the distribution is moving along according to our plan.
00:36:42.000 And it's moving along really well.
00:36:47.000 We had the military, what they've done, our generals and all of the people, what they've done is incredible.
00:36:54.000 But remember, you know, we took care of a lot of people, including, I guess, on December 21st, we took care of Joe Biden because he got his shot.
00:37:03.000 He got his vaccine.
00:37:03.000 He forgot.
00:37:04.000 It shows you how unpainful that vaccine shot is.
00:37:08.000 So everybody go get your shot.
00:37:10.000 He forgot.
00:37:11.000 So it wasn't very traumatic, obviously, but he got his shot.
00:37:16.000 And it's good that he got his shot.
00:37:18.000 Last year, I predicted to you that the extremist corruption and incompetence of the Biden administration would be literally unprecedented in American history.
00:37:30.000 Unfortunately, he has proven me 100% right.
00:37:36.000 Already, as president, Biden has urged Congress to pass legislation shredding your Second Amendment.
00:37:45.000 Your Second Amendment is in far bigger trouble than you know.
00:37:49.000 And for four years, I fought like hell to save your Second Amendment, and we saved it 100%.
00:37:57.000 We saved it.
00:37:59.000 He signed an order to conduct politically correct far-left indoctrination trainings in every department of the federal government, including the U.S. military, after I had terminated these horrible things that were being preached to our military.
00:38:17.000 And he wants it to go forward.
00:38:19.000 It's insane.
00:38:21.000 Within his first few hours, Biden eliminated our national security travel bans on nations plagued by terrorism.
00:38:28.000 His first priority was to open our borders to unvetted travelers from Libya, Yemen, Syria, Somalia, and many other countries where strict vetting cannot occur, countries that have tremendous problems, countries with tremendous terrorism problems.
00:38:47.000 We did a travel ban.
00:38:49.000 It was a real achievement.
00:38:51.000 We told those countries, sorry, straighten out your act.
00:38:54.000 We don't want people coming in where they had an ideology or a problem.
00:38:59.000 We just couldn't have it.
00:39:01.000 And it was incredible how it worked was incredible.
00:39:05.000 And he terminated it.
00:39:06.000 We had to get it approved.
00:39:07.000 It went all the way up to the Supreme Court of the United States.
00:39:10.000 We got it approved, and he terminates it.
00:39:12.000 In addition, he's already increased refugee admissions by nearly 10 times, but in effect it'll soon be hundreds of times as millions of people flow up through our soon-to-be-open borders.
00:39:26.000 And by the way, the Border Patrol and ISIS are some of the great heroes of our country.
00:39:30.000 These are incredible people.
00:39:33.000 I got to know them very well.
00:39:36.000 Your family still cannot go out to eat at local restaurants, but Joe Biden is bringing in thousands upon thousands of refugees from all over the world, people that nobody knows anything about.
00:39:50.000 We don't have crime records.
00:39:52.000 We don't have health records.
00:39:54.000 What are they bringing in with them?
00:39:56.000 When I left office, we had virtually ended the endless wars.
00:40:00.000 These endless wars, they go on forever.
00:40:03.000 They go on forever.
00:40:06.000 I would go to Dover and I would see caskets, coffins coming in.
00:40:13.000 I'd see the parents and the wives and the husbands.
00:40:16.000 I would see the kids.
00:40:18.000 Endless wars, 19 years in Afghanistan.
00:40:21.000 We have it down to almost nothing left, and I hear they might want to go back in.
00:40:27.000 Iraq.
00:40:28.000 Remember I used to say, don't go in, but if you're going to go in, keep the oil.
00:40:32.000 Well, we went in and we didn't keep the oil.
00:40:35.000 We had made historic peace deals in the Middle East like nobody thought were even possible with not a drop of bloodshed.
00:40:59.000 And by the way, not one American soldier has been killed in Afghanistan in over a year.
00:41:07.000 Think of that.
00:41:08.000 Not one.
00:41:13.000 Those troops have largely come home.
00:41:15.000 At the same time, the new administration unilaterally withdrew our crippling sanctions on Iran, foolishly giving away all of America's leverage before negotiations have even begun.
00:41:29.000 Leave the sanctions, negotiate.
00:41:31.000 Does anybody understand what I'm saying here?
00:41:35.000 Are there any good business people?
00:41:36.000 You don't have to be a good, are there any bad business people?
00:41:39.000 They took off the sanctions.
00:41:41.000 They took off the sanctions.
00:41:43.000 They say, well, we're going to not have any sanctions.
00:41:45.000 Let's negotiate a deal.
00:41:46.000 I don't know, Matt Schlapp.
00:41:48.000 I don't think you would have done that.
00:41:49.000 Do you think so, Matt?
00:41:50.000 Mercedes wouldn't have.
00:41:50.000 I don't think so.
00:41:54.000 No, you do that, you make a deal, and then you do what they wanted.
00:41:57.000 I will tell you something, and I said it.
00:42:00.000 Had we had a fair election, the results would have been much different.
00:42:05.000 And we would have had a deal.
00:42:08.000 We would have had a deal with Iran within the first week.
00:42:14.000 They wanted those sanctions off.
00:42:16.000 He took them off for nothing, for nothing.
00:42:18.000 Now you watch how tough they negotiate.
00:42:20.000 In another horrendous surrender, he agreed to get back into the World Health Organization for approximately $500 million a year, which is what we were paying.
00:42:36.000 When I withdrew from the WHO, and you know the whole story with that, they called it badly.
00:42:42.000 They really are puppets for China.
00:42:46.000 They called and they wanted us to stay in.
00:42:48.000 I said, how much are we paying?
00:42:50.000 Approximately $500 million.
00:42:53.000 How much is China paying?
00:42:54.000 I'm much larger in terms of population country.
00:42:59.000 Sir, they're paying $39 million.
00:43:01.000 I said, why are we paying $500 million and they're paying $39?
00:43:04.000 I could tell you why, because the people that made the deal are stupid, that's why.
00:43:09.000 So, So, and I had no idea how popular it was with me.
00:43:17.000 I didn't even know if I would be able to politically because people were so happy when I did get out.
00:43:22.000 But I said, so we went in.
00:43:24.000 We could get it for $39 million, which is what China, not $500 million, which is what we were stupidly paying.
00:43:29.000 And they said, we can make a deal.
00:43:31.000 We want you to go in.
00:43:32.000 We can make a deal.
00:43:34.000 Okay, and I decided not to do it.
00:43:36.000 But we could have had it for $39 million.
00:43:38.000 We could have had it for the same as China.
00:43:40.000 And they decide now to go back into the World Health Organization and pay $500 million.
00:43:47.000 What the hell is wrong with them?
00:43:49.000 No, no.
00:43:50.000 This is just, this is just emblematic.
00:43:53.000 It's a tremendous amount of money, but compared to trillions, it's not, but it's a tremendous amount of money.
00:43:58.000 Why would China pay $39 million and we're paying almost $500 million?
00:44:03.000 Why?
00:44:04.000 So we could have made the same deal that China had, $39 million, and they just say, we're going back in.
00:44:10.000 We're going back into the World Health Organization.
00:44:12.000 They go back in, they pay $500.
00:44:14.000 It is so sad.
00:44:16.000 Just like the Iran and the World Health Organization, Joe Biden put the United States back into the very unfair and very costly Paris Climate Accord without negotiating a better deal.
00:44:31.000 They wanted us so badly back in.
00:44:35.000 I'll tell you, they wanted us.
00:44:36.000 I was getting called from all of the countries.
00:44:38.000 You must come back into the Paris Accord.
00:44:40.000 I said, tell me why.
00:44:41.000 Give me one good reason.
00:44:42.000 First of all, China doesn't kick in for 10 years.
00:44:45.000 Russia goes by an old standard, which was not a clean standard, and other countries.
00:44:50.000 But we get hit right from the beginning.
00:44:52.000 It would have cost us hundreds of thousands and millions of jobs.
00:44:56.000 It was a disaster.
00:44:58.000 But they go back in.
00:44:59.000 I could have made an unbelievable deal and gone back in, but I didn't want to do that.
00:45:02.000 Surrendering millions of jobs and trillions of dollars to all of these other countries, almost all of them, that were in the deal.
00:45:11.000 So they have favorable treatment.
00:45:13.000 We don't have favorable treatment.
00:45:15.000 And we just said, we're going back in.
00:45:17.000 To go back in, they wanted us so badly.
00:45:19.000 You could have negotiated.
00:45:20.000 If you wanted to go back in, which frankly, we have the cleanest air, the cleanest water, and everything else that we've ever had, so I don't know why we have to.
00:45:30.000 And what good does it do when we're clean, but China's not, and Russia's not, and India's not.
00:45:36.000 So they're pouring fumes.
00:45:38.000 You know, the world is actually a small piece of the universe, right?
00:45:42.000 They're pouring fumes, and we're trying to protect everything and building products for three times more than is necessary.
00:45:50.000 No, they could have made a great deal.
00:45:52.000 If they were going to go back in, that's fine.
00:45:54.000 But they could have made a great deal instead of just saying, we're back in.
00:45:57.000 These people.
00:45:59.000 And in one of his first official acts, which was incredible because again, he talked about energy.
00:46:05.000 He never said he was going to do this.
00:46:06.000 He canceled the Keystone XL pipeline, destroying not the 8,000 or the 9,000 or the 11,000 jobs that you hear, but 42,000 great-paying jobs on just about day one, right?
00:46:25.000 He never talked about that during a debate because he wouldn't have gotten away with it.
00:46:28.000 Well, he would have because they cheated so much, it probably wouldn't have been.
00:46:34.000 No, but that was not a topic of conversation, remember?
00:46:37.000 Fracking, you can frack.
00:46:38.000 Oh, we love fracking.
00:46:40.000 During the primary, no fracking.
00:46:43.000 As soon as he got through that, he said, no, of course, everybody can frack.
00:46:46.000 No fracking.
00:46:48.000 You wait till you see what happens with your gasoline.
00:46:50.000 Wait till you see what happens.
00:46:51.000 And we cannot let this stuff continue to go on.
00:46:55.000 One of my proudest accomplishments as president was to make America energy independent.
00:47:01.000 The United States became the number one energy superpower on earth.
00:47:07.000 Number one.
00:47:16.000 Became number one.
00:47:18.000 Bigger than Saudi Arabia, bigger than Russia by a lot.
00:47:22.000 We left them all in the dust.
00:47:24.000 They were all in the dust.
00:47:25.000 But if the Democrats have their way, we are heading from energy dominance to energy disaster.
00:47:33.000 That's what's happening.
00:47:34.000 You have to see what's going on.
00:47:36.000 Everything's being closed up.
00:47:38.000 It's a disaster.
00:47:39.000 The blackouts we saw in California last summer and all the time, and the windmill calamity that we're witnessing in Texas, great state of Texas.
00:47:48.000 We love Texas.
00:47:50.000 But it's so sad when you look at it.
00:47:52.000 That'll just be the start.
00:47:54.000 How bad is wind power?
00:47:56.000 So I talk about it all the time at CPAC, right?
00:47:58.000 We went to CPAC.
00:48:00.000 Remember last, I said, we're going to watch the president.
00:48:02.000 Well, Alice, the wind isn't blowing.
00:48:05.000 I don't believe we'll have any electricity.
00:48:07.000 Remember, we would kid, but I wasn't actually kidding.
00:48:12.000 It's such an expensive form of energy.
00:48:15.000 It's so bad for the environment.
00:48:17.000 It kills the birds.
00:48:19.000 It destroys the landscapes.
00:48:21.000 And remember, these are structural columns with fans on them.
00:48:26.000 They wear out.
00:48:27.000 And when they wear out all over the country, you see them.
00:48:29.000 Nobody takes them down.
00:48:30.000 They're rotting.
00:48:31.000 They're rusting.
00:48:32.000 How this is environmentally good for our country.
00:48:35.000 And it costs many, many times more than natural gas, which is clean.
00:48:40.000 It costs many more and can fuel our great factories.
00:48:43.000 Wind can't do that.
00:48:45.000 And solar, I love solar, but it doesn't have the capacity to do what we have to do to make America great again.
00:48:52.000 Sorry, it just doesn't happen.
00:48:55.000 Under the radical Democrat policies, the price of gasoline has already surged 30% since the election and will go to $5, $6, $7, and even higher.
00:49:08.000 So enjoy that when you go to the pump and they'll say, that'll be about $200 to fill up your van.
00:49:15.000 You'll go to the, remember they used to go to the little small vans?
00:49:18.000 They got away from the big ones that everybody wanted.
00:49:20.000 They went to the small ones.
00:49:22.000 Well, you know what?
00:49:24.000 Probably a good investment as long as these guys have their say because, you know, it's a shame what's happening.
00:49:30.000 Energy prices are going to go through the roof.
00:49:32.000 And that includes your electric bills.
00:49:33.000 That includes any bill having to do with energy, our biggest cost.
00:49:37.000 We will now be relying on Russia and the Middle East for oil.
00:49:41.000 And they talk about Russia, Russia, Russia.
00:49:43.000 What's better than what this guy's done for Russia?
00:49:46.000 I had oil where they were actually paying you to take it, okay?
00:49:49.000 You know, that was a little, remember they were going to give you 37 a barrel, but you had to take it away.
00:49:54.000 You had free oil almost for a period of time.
00:49:56.000 And one way I was proud of it, but we also had to save the energy industry, and it worked out well.
00:50:01.000 And I dealt with Russia and Saudi Arabia, and they cut back on production, and we got it back up.
00:50:07.000 But now it's going the opposite, because now they're taking this incredible energy independence away from the people of our country, and you're going to see costs go like you have never seen them go before.
00:50:17.000 It's a very sad and very stupid thing that they're doing.
00:50:21.000 The Biden policies are a massive win for other oil-producing countries and a massive loss for the United States and our great citizens.
00:50:30.000 Joe Biden and the Democrats are even pushing policies that would destroy women's sports.
00:50:40.000 A lot of new records are being broken in women's sports.
00:50:44.000 Hate to say that, ladies, but got a lot of new records.
00:50:47.000 They're being shattered.
00:50:50.000 You know, for years, the weightlifting, every ounce is like a big deal for many years.
00:50:55.000 All of a sudden, somebody comes along and beats it by 100 pounds.
00:50:59.000 Boom, boom.
00:51:00.000 Now.
00:51:02.000 Young girls and women are incensed that they are now being forced to compete against those who are biological males.
00:51:11.000 It's not good for women.
00:51:13.000 It's not good for women's sports, which worked so long and so hard to get to where they are.
00:51:18.000 The records that stood for years, even decades, are now being smashed with ease.
00:51:22.000 Smashed.
00:51:24.000 If this is not changed, women's sports, as we know it, will die.
00:51:29.000 They'll end.
00:51:30.000 It'll end.
00:51:31.000 What coach, if I'm a coach, you know, I want to be a great coach.
00:51:35.000 What coach, as an example, wants to recruit a young woman to compete if her record can easily be broken by somebody who was born a man?
00:51:45.000 Not too many of those coaches around, right?
00:51:48.000 If they are around, they won't be around long because they're going to have a big problem when their record is...
00:52:03.000 We're 0-16, but we're getting better.
00:52:06.000 No, I think it's crazy.
00:52:08.000 I think it's just crazy what's happening.
00:52:10.000 We must protect the integrity of women's sports, so important.
00:52:13.000 After.
00:52:29.000 And I don't even know.
00:52:31.000 Is that controversial?
00:52:33.000 You know, somebody said, well, that's going to be very controversial.
00:52:36.000 I said, that's okay.
00:52:37.000 You haven't heard anything yet.
00:52:47.000 As you can see, the early weeks of the Biden administration have nothing less than, they've been a catastrophe for American workers and for American families.
00:52:57.000 The task of our mission, and for us, it's our movement.
00:53:03.000 As I said, a movement like has never been seen, I think we can probably say, never been seen anywhere in the world.
00:53:10.000 I mean, nobody's ever seen a movement like this.
00:53:13.000 I'd grow up and I'd watch somebody who came in second in New Hampshire, first in Iowa, and that was the end, and they became famous for the rest of their lives.
00:53:23.000 We won the election twice.
00:53:25.000 I mean, you know, think about it.
00:53:29.000 The task for our movement and our party is to stand up to this destructive agenda with confidence and with resolve.
00:53:37.000 The future of the Republican Party is as a party that defends the social, economic, and cultural interests and values of working American families of every race, color, and creed.
00:53:50.000 That's why the party is growing so rapidly and is becoming a different party.
00:53:55.000 And it's becoming a party of love.
00:53:57.000 You have to see outside the streets.
00:53:59.000 I mean, there's such love.
00:54:01.000 The flags.
00:54:04.000 Amazing.
00:54:25.000 That's right.
00:54:26.000 Now it's a party that's incredible, the people, the spirit.
00:54:30.000 And there are, as you probably heard a little while ago, I mean, there's more spirit now than there's ever been, including even before the election.
00:54:37.000 More spirit now than we've ever seen because people are seeing how bad it can be.
00:54:42.000 And again, I want to thank Rush and Catherine because what he did to get the word out has been incredible.
00:54:49.000 Some people are irreplaceable, as Sean Hannity would say, and he said, Rush is irreplaceable.
00:54:56.000 But his spirit lives on, and that's something that we need and we love.
00:55:00.000 Republicans believe that the needs of every citizen must come first.
00:55:06.000 In fact, America must come first.
00:55:10.000 We don't put it first.
00:55:11.000 They don't put it first.
00:55:13.000 Over the past four years, my administration delivered for Americans of all backgrounds like never before, like never before.
00:55:21.000 We built the strongest economy in the history of the world, raised wages, and achieved the lowest African American, Hispanic American, Asian American unemployment rates ever, ever, ever recorded.
00:55:36.000 It was so great for everybody of all backgrounds that even after the China virus, we are leading the world.
00:55:46.000 Nobody's even close.
00:55:48.000 We're leading it in the comeback.
00:55:49.000 Our economic comeback has been incredible.
00:55:52.000 That's because the financial and economic foundation we built was so strong that unlike other countries who are having a hard time, we didn't break.
00:56:01.000 We came roaring back and now our stock market and your 401ks are again at record levels, higher than ever before, actually.
00:56:12.000 Many people have asked, what is Trumpism?
00:56:15.000 A new term being used more and more.
00:56:17.000 I'm hearing that term more and more.
00:56:19.000 I didn't come up with it.
00:56:22.000 But what it means is great deals, great trade deals, great ones, not deals where we give away everything, our jobs, our money.
00:56:30.000 Like the USMCA replacement of the horrible NAFTA.
00:56:33.000 NAFTA was one of the worst deals ever made, probably the worst trade deal ever made.
00:56:38.000 You know, a lot of people forget we ended it.
00:56:38.000 And we ended it.
00:56:40.000 Now we have the U.S. MCA, Mexico, Canada.
00:56:44.000 It's incredible what it's done for our farmers who are doing fantastically.
00:56:48.000 Did you see grain prices and grain sales are at an all-time high, wheat all-time high, so many elements of farms and farmers, and they love me, and remember, it's going to be very close in Iowa.
00:57:01.000 Well, it wasn't close.
00:57:02.000 We won in a landslide, Iowa, because our farmers know and they put up with it, and we did a lot of work with the tariffs and all these things that we had to do to get it, and now the farmers are doing great, but they're setting records.
00:57:15.000 It means low taxes and eliminating job-killing regulations, Trumpism.
00:57:21.000 It means strong borders, but people coming into our country based on a system of merit, so they come in and they can help us as opposed to coming here and not being good for us, including criminals, of which there are many.
00:57:36.000 It means no riots in the streets.
00:57:38.000 It means law enforcement.
00:57:44.000 It means very strong protection for the Second Amendment and the right to keep and bear arms.
00:57:56.000 It means support for the forgotten men and women who have been taken advantage of for so many years and they were doing great.
00:58:07.000 They were doing great before that horrible thing from China came in and hit us and now they're starting to do really well again.
00:58:14.000 You know, if you think about it, we built the economy twice.
00:58:16.000 We built it then.
00:58:18.000 And then like every other country in the world, it went down and then we built it again.
00:58:23.000 Now it's higher in many ways, certainly in the stock market.
00:58:26.000 It's higher in many ways than it was before.
00:58:29.000 That's because of the foundation.
00:58:30.000 And no country comes even close to competing with our comeback.
00:58:37.000 And it means a strong military and taking care of our vets, but a strong military, which we have totally rebuilt.
00:58:47.000 We have rebuilt it.
00:58:50.000 And our military has never been stronger than it is today.
00:58:54.000 It was tired.
00:58:54.000 It was depleted.
00:58:55.000 It was obsolete.
00:58:56.000 And now we have the best brand new equipment ever made, and it was all produced right here in the USA.
00:59:02.000 Isn't that nice?
00:59:06.000 And we take care of our vets.
00:59:08.000 You know, we had a poll recently just before leaving office.
00:59:11.000 The vets had a 91% approval rating for the way we took care of them.
00:59:16.000 That's the highest number in the history of the polls.
00:59:21.000 The vet polls.
00:59:23.000 On top of all of that, We have even created the Space Force, the first new branch of the United States military in nearly 75 years.
00:59:34.000 The mission of the Democrat Party is to promote socialism.
00:59:38.000 They want to promote socialism, ultimately leading, unfortunately, to communism.
00:59:44.000 And that will happen.
00:59:45.000 If you look at Venezuela, you look at some of these countries, that's why some of our biggest supporters are from South America, Latin America, because they've seen what goes on with all of this canceled culture and you can't speak and let's cut them off and let's not give them words.
01:00:02.000 The mission of our movement and of the Republican Party must be to create a future of good jobs, strong families, safe communities, a vibrant culture, and a great nation for all Americans, and that's what we're creating.
01:00:24.000 Their party is based upon unvarnished disdain for America, its past, and its people.
01:00:30.000 You see that happening?
01:00:31.000 It's horrible the way they treat the legacy of our country, the culture of our country.
01:00:37.000 Our party is based on love for America and the belief that this is an exceptional nation blessed by God.
01:00:51.000 We take great pride in our country.
01:00:55.000 We teach the truth about history.
01:00:57.000 We celebrate our rich heritage and national traditions.
01:01:01.000 We honor George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and all national heroes.
01:01:09.000 And of course, we respect our great American flag.
01:01:27.000 Thank you.
01:01:29.000 Thank you.
01:01:32.000 Thank you very much.
01:01:34.000 Thank you very much.
01:01:36.000 We love you.
01:01:51.000 Thank you, God.
01:01:55.000 Thank you very much.
01:01:56.000 So nice.
01:01:59.000 I started that hearing.
01:02:00.000 We really were getting word of that, hearing that during some of the rallies, especially the latter rallies where we set records.
01:02:09.000 We had 56 unbelievable packed rallies, and nobody's ever had anything like we had.
01:02:16.000 And we started hearing, we love you.
01:02:18.000 And I asked somebody, you know, because we really liked Ronald Reagan, right?
01:02:22.000 He was a great president.
01:02:23.000 We had others.
01:02:24.000 But I said, did anybody ever say that to Ronald Reagan or to any of our great, and to the best of all of these political professionals' knowledge and pollsters, nobody's ever heard that yet before, man.
01:02:36.000 So it's an honor.
01:02:37.000 Believe me, it's an honor.
01:02:39.000 It's a great honor.
01:02:41.000 It's a great honor.
01:02:44.000 You know, when you think about we love you, you're saying that about, I hate to say it.
01:02:49.000 Am I a politician?
01:02:50.000 I don't know.
01:02:51.000 Maybe I'm a politician.
01:02:53.000 I hate to admit it, but that's really, it's an honor that you would say it.
01:02:56.000 We believe in patriotic education and strongly oppose the radical indoctrination of America's youth.
01:03:03.000 It's horrible.
01:03:06.000 We are committed to defending innocent life and to upholding the Judeo-Christian values of our founders and of our founding.
01:03:26.000 We embrace free thought.
01:03:28.000 We stand up to political correctives.
01:03:31.000 And we reject left-wing lunacy.
01:03:34.000 And in particular, we reject cancel culture.
01:03:47.000 We know that the rule of law is the ultimate safeguard.
01:03:51.000 And we affirm that the Constitution means exactly what it says, as written.
01:03:59.000 As written.
01:04:02.000 We want to change it.
01:04:04.000 They want to change it.
01:04:05.000 They want to get rid of it, frankly.
01:04:08.000 We believe in law and order, and we believe that the men and women of law enforcement are heroes who truly deserve our absolute support.
01:04:17.000 We don't defund the police.
01:04:19.000 We are not defunding the police.
01:04:23.000 We believe in standing up to China, shutting down outsourcing, bringing back our factories and supply chains, and ensuring that America, not China, dominates the future of the world.
01:04:36.000 That's what's going to happen.
01:04:40.000 And by the way, we took in hundreds of billions of dollars from China.
01:04:45.000 During my administration, hundreds of, they never gave us 10 cents.
01:04:49.000 It was a one-way street.
01:04:50.000 We took in hundreds of billions.
01:04:52.000 And during negotiations, they would say, look, the one thing, we don't want any more of these tariffs, these tariffs, those tariffs, we took in so much money.
01:04:59.000 And what happened is they became competitive.
01:05:02.000 So what happened with people, they wouldn't go to China.
01:05:05.000 They'd build a lot of it back in our country.
01:05:08.000 They would make it here instead.
01:05:10.000 And in addition to that, we would take it in billions and billions and billions of dollars from China.
01:05:17.000 But in all fairness to China, we made a trade deal with them.
01:05:20.000 This was prior to COVID.
01:05:22.000 Once COVID happened, I no longer cared so much about the trade deal because what happened with that was just disgraceful.
01:05:29.000 But that's one of the things.
01:05:30.000 That's one of the reasons that right now our farmers are doing so good.
01:05:34.000 I used to sell China: look, look, go and get a lot of wheat, get a lot of different things, all of the things we just talked about.
01:05:41.000 You better go out and do it because this country has not been treated fairly by you for many, many years, many, many years.
01:05:48.000 We used to lose $504 billion trade deficit with China.
01:05:53.000 $504 million, not million, $504 million a lot.
01:05:57.000 You know that through the World Health Organization.
01:05:57.000 Right?
01:06:01.000 Now take $504 million, make it $504 billion.
01:06:06.000 We had deficits with China.
01:06:08.000 It was absolutely insane that this could keep going on.
01:06:11.000 It's amazing that you still have a country left.
01:06:14.000 The people that did this to our country, they should be ashamed of themselves.
01:06:19.000 They should be ashamed of themselves.
01:06:21.000 Companies that leave America to create jobs in China and other countries that have ripped us off for years should not be rewarded.
01:06:29.000 They should be tariffed, fined, and punished.
01:06:33.000 They should not be rewarded.
01:06:39.000 And that's what the Biden administration, that's what the Biden administration is doing.
01:06:45.000 But of course, as you know, they have a very close personal relationship with China, so I don't expect much to happen.
01:06:52.000 It's a shame, because it really is a threat.
01:06:54.000 It's a tremendous economic threat.
01:06:57.000 And thank God we've rebuilt our military, but it's a tremendous economic threat.
01:07:03.000 Never forget it.
01:07:04.000 These are the convictions that define our movement today and must define the Republican Party in the years ahead.
01:07:12.000 Very simple.
01:07:13.000 It's really quite simple, isn't it?
01:07:15.000 Another one of the most urgent issues facing the Republican Party is that of ensuring fair, honest, and secure elections.
01:07:39.000 Such a disgrace, such a disgrace.
01:07:45.000 Such a disgrace.
01:07:47.000 We must pass comprehensive election reforms, and we must do it now.
01:07:52.000 The Democrats used the China virus as an excuse to change all of the election rules without the approval of their state legislatures, making it therefore illegal.
01:08:05.000 It had a massive impact on the election.
01:08:09.000 Again, you have to go to the legislatures to get these approvals.
01:08:14.000 This alone would have easily changed the outcome of the election at levels that you wouldn't have even believed.
01:08:21.000 Even with COVID, even with all of the things, the numbers are staggering.
01:08:26.000 We can never let this or other abuses of the 2020 election be repeated or happen again.
01:08:34.000 Can never let that happen again.
01:08:37.000 You see what's going on.
01:08:38.000 We've been set back so greatly with other countries and with the world.
01:08:43.000 We need election integrity and election reform immediately.
01:08:48.000 Republicans should be the party of honest elections that can give everyone confidence in the future of our country.
01:08:56.000 Without honest elections, who has confidence?
01:08:59.000 Who has confidence?
01:09:00.000 This issue is being studied and examined, but the reality is you cannot have a situation where ballots are indiscriminately pouring in from all over the country.
01:09:11.000 Tens of millions of ballots.
01:09:13.000 Where are they coming from?
01:09:14.000 They're coming all over the place.
01:09:17.000 Where illegal aliens and dead people are voting, and many other horrible things are happening that are too voluminous to even mention.
01:09:27.000 But people know, I mean, it's being studied, and the level of dishonesty is not to be believed.
01:09:35.000 We have a very sick and corrupt electoral process that must be fixed immediately.
01:09:41.000 This election was rigged, and the Supreme Court and other courts didn't want to do anything about it.
01:10:12.000 We did.
01:10:16.000 If you just take that one element where they didn't go through legislatures, it's illegal.
01:10:21.000 You can't do it.
01:10:22.000 It's in the Constitution.
01:10:24.000 They didn't have the courage, the Supreme Court.
01:10:26.000 They didn't have the courage to act, but instead used process and lack of standing.
01:10:33.000 I was told the President of the United States has no standing.
01:10:37.000 It's my election.
01:10:38.000 It's your election.
01:10:38.000 We have no standing.
01:10:40.000 We had almost 20, if you think of it, we had almost 20 states go into the Supreme Court so that we didn't have a standing problem.
01:10:49.000 They rejected it.
01:10:50.000 They rejected it.
01:10:51.000 They should be ashamed of themselves for what they've done to our country.
01:10:57.000 They didn't have the guts or the courage to make the right decision.
01:11:01.000 They didn't want to talk about it.
01:11:13.000 You had the case led by the great state of Texas.
01:11:16.000 18 states went in.
01:11:19.000 You don't have standing.
01:11:20.000 Oh, let's not talk about it.
01:11:22.000 They didn't have the guts to do what should be done.
01:11:27.000 And that's on top of all of the other forms of cheating, but this is the most basic of all.
01:11:32.000 They would have local courts and local politicians change the rules, in some cases, a day or two before the election.
01:11:40.000 This should never be allowed to happen to another presidential candidate or presidential race.
01:11:46.000 Should never be allowed to happen.
01:11:51.000 Today I want to outline the steps that we must take to have an election system in this country that is honest, fair, and accurate.
01:12:00.000 We need one election day, not 45, 30.
01:12:12.000 One day, like it's been.
01:12:20.000 And if Republicans don't get this and the other things I'm going to say, then you should, like the Supreme Court, be ashamed of yourselves.
01:12:28.000 One day, one day, and the only people that should be allowed to vote by mail are people that can be proven to be either very sick or out of the country or military where they can't do it.
01:12:42.000 One day, they have millions and millions of ballots sitting around all over the place for long periods of time.
01:12:50.000 Gee, I wonder what happens with those ballots.
01:12:52.000 I wonder what happens.
01:12:54.000 It's common sense.
01:12:55.000 It's a disgrace.
01:12:57.000 It's an absolute disgrace.
01:12:58.000 There should be a legitimate reason for someone to vote absentee.
01:13:02.000 It has to have a reason.
01:13:04.000 We should eliminate the insanity of mass and very corrupt mail-in voting.
01:13:11.000 We must have voter ID.
01:13:14.000 Voter ID.
01:13:29.000 You know, to get into the Democrat National Convention when they had the convention, you needed voter ID.
01:13:38.000 You needed an ID card.
01:13:40.000 You couldn't get in unless you had an ID.
01:13:42.000 So many people told me you can't get in that place.
01:13:44.000 You need ID.
01:13:45.000 Nobody had ID.
01:13:46.000 You need voter ID.
01:13:48.000 They know that.
01:13:48.000 This is a conjob.
01:13:49.000 They're conning everybody.
01:13:51.000 They know that.
01:13:51.000 They know the wall was good.
01:13:53.000 They knew the wall would work, but they didn't want to have it because we wanted it.
01:13:57.000 I made one big mistake in the world.
01:13:58.000 I should have said, we will not have a wall.
01:14:03.000 And then they would have said, let's build a wall.
01:14:05.000 I made a big mistake.
01:14:07.000 I made a big mistake.
01:14:09.000 I'm sorry.
01:14:10.000 Took us a year and a half extra because of that mistake.
01:14:15.000 We will not have a wall.
01:14:16.000 We need a wall immediately, said Chuck Schumer.
01:14:21.000 We need universal signature matching.
01:14:25.000 They want to pass a bill where you don't have to match signatures, where signatures don't mean anything.
01:14:30.000 Now, they know it's all.
01:14:31.000 Just like with the wall, just like with voter ID, when you need to go into anything that's Democrat-run, you need it.
01:14:38.000 But for voting, which is our most sacred institution, they don't want to let you have it.
01:14:46.000 There should be a 100% requirement to verify the citizenship of every person who votes.
01:14:55.000 And there must be a chain of custody protections for every ballot.
01:15:00.000 Every ballot.
01:15:08.000 And you saw what happened in Detroit and Philadelphia and many other places.
01:15:14.000 Swing states mostly.
01:15:15.000 All over, but swing states mostly.
01:15:17.000 You saw what happened.
01:15:18.000 You saw what was going on.
01:15:20.000 You saw that more people, you take a look at the votes, when you have more votes than you have people.
01:15:26.000 That's a problem, right?
01:15:27.000 Is that a problem?
01:15:28.000 You know, we have a little problem adjusting in Detroit.
01:15:31.000 We seem to have more votes than we have people.
01:15:33.000 A lot more votes.
01:15:34.000 An election-changing number.
01:15:36.000 We're not talking about a number where you can't...
01:15:39.000 No, these are election-changing numbers.
01:15:41.000 In Pennsylvania, they had hundreds of thousands of more votes than they had people voting.
01:15:47.000 What's that all about?
01:15:49.000 What's that all about?
01:15:54.000 Cheating, they say.
01:15:55.000 Yeah, I'd say so.
01:15:58.000 In the history of our country, and it has taken place for years in Pennsylvania and Detroit and various other places, but there's tremendous, never like this, because they use COVID as a way of cheating.
01:16:10.000 That's what happened, and everybody knows it.
01:16:13.000 Hundreds of thousands and millions of ballots.
01:16:15.000 They used it as a way of getting what they've wanted for many years, and the Republicans have to do something about it.
01:16:23.000 They better do something about it.
01:16:24.000 Our election process is worse than that in many cases of a third world country.
01:16:31.000 You saw what was going on.
01:16:31.000 You know that.
01:16:33.000 Even if you consider nothing else, it is undeniable that election rules were illegally changed at the last minute in almost every swing state with the procedures rewritten by local politicians, you're not allowed to do that, and local judges.
01:16:49.000 They want more time, they want this, they want that, all done by local politicians or local judges, as opposed to state legislatures as required by the Constitution of the United States.
01:17:03.000 And these are numbers that are massive.
01:17:04.000 These aren't little numbers.
01:17:06.000 These are numbers that in each state is a transformative number.
01:17:10.000 It changes the outcome of the election.
01:17:13.000 And it's not close.
01:17:15.000 Regardless of your political views, this should concern you as a constitutional matter.
01:17:22.000 And the Supreme Court, again, didn't have the guts or the courage to do anything about it.
01:17:26.000 And neither did other judges.
01:17:32.000 And Democrats even admitted in Time magazine, which is, I would say, on the liberal side, that they just couldn't hold it in.
01:17:43.000 They had to brag about it.
01:17:44.000 Because what they did, they had to brag about it.
01:17:47.000 They couldn't do it.
01:17:47.000 You've got to read the story.
01:17:49.000 It's a disaster.
01:17:50.000 It's a disaster for our country that we can allow something so corrupt to happen.
01:17:55.000 Read that article.
01:17:57.000 I really encourage you.
01:17:58.000 You read that article.
01:18:00.000 Yet all of the election integrity measures in the world will mean nothing if we don't have free speech.
01:18:08.000 And that's where we're at now.
01:18:10.000 If Republicans can be censored for speaking the truth and calling out corruption, we will not have democracy and we will have only left-wing tyranny.
01:18:23.000 And we can do this.
01:18:24.000 We can do this.
01:18:25.000 We're smarter than they are.
01:18:27.000 We're tougher than they are.
01:18:28.000 For some reason, we just don't.
01:18:30.000 We don't get it done.
01:18:31.000 We let them attack our businesses and we don't attack their businesses.
01:18:35.000 I believe your numbers are bigger than their numbers.
01:18:38.000 But you're nicer than they are.
01:18:40.000 You're not as vicious as they are.
01:18:42.000 In the past, we would debate.
01:18:44.000 I would have it.
01:18:45.000 I'd debate.
01:18:46.000 You've seen me for many years.
01:18:47.000 They'd throw something.
01:18:48.000 I'd debate.
01:18:48.000 They debate.
01:18:49.000 Who knows who wins?
01:18:50.000 You know, people go, they vote.
01:18:51.000 They see what happens.
01:18:53.000 But they would have an idea.
01:18:55.000 They would disagree.
01:18:57.000 The public would hear it.
01:18:58.000 The debate and discourse would take place.
01:19:01.000 And then somebody would make a decision.
01:19:03.000 You would win, you would lose.
01:19:05.000 The public would make up its mind.
01:19:07.000 But now there is no debate because they refuse to allow our side to even speak or be heard.
01:19:12.000 They don't want debate because we have easy victories in a debate.
01:19:16.000 Very easy victories.
01:19:18.000 It's called common sense.
01:19:19.000 It's called other things, but it's called common sense.
01:19:22.000 So they don't want to debate.
01:19:24.000 The time has come to break up big tech monopolies and restore fair competition.
01:19:40.000 Republicans, conservatives must open up our platforms and repeal Section 230 liability protection.
01:19:52.000 And if the federal government refuses to act, then every state in the Union where we have the votes, which is a lot of them, big tech giants like Twitter, Google, and Facebook, should be punished with major sanctions whenever they silence conservative voices.
01:20:18.000 And Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida and in Texas and in other states are doing this.
01:20:28.000 If they do what they're doing, Florida and that legislation will pass.
01:20:34.000 And Texas and others will have tremendous power to do what's right and what's fair.
01:20:41.000 We have no time to waste.
01:20:43.000 Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress are racing to pass a fragrantly, flagrantly unconstitutional attack on the First Amendment and the integrity of our elections known as HR1.
01:20:55.000 Do you know what HR1 is?
01:20:56.000 It's a disaster.
01:20:59.000 Their bill would drastically restrict political speech, empower the federal government to shut down dissent, and turn the Federal Election Commission into a partisan political weapon.
01:21:10.000 In addition, it virtually eliminates voter ID requirements nationwide, effectively ends all registration deadlines.
01:21:18.000 Can you believe this?
01:21:19.000 Requires states to give ballots to felons, automatically registers every welfare recipient to vote, and puts unaccountable, unelected bureaucrats in charge of drawing congressional districts.
01:21:32.000 That's going to be a lot of fun.
01:21:33.000 This monster must be stopped.
01:21:37.000 It cannot be allowed to pass.
01:21:42.000 Now, more than ever, is the time for tough, strong, and energetic Republican leaders who have spines of steel.
01:21:48.000 We need strong leadership.
01:21:50.000 We cannot have leaders who show more passion for condemning their fellow Americans than they have ever shown for standing up to Democrats, the media, and the radicals who want to turn America into a socialist country.
01:22:15.000 Instead of attacking me and, more importantly, the voters of our movement, top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy in opposing Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats.
01:22:31.000 I've said to some of them, I said, you know, during the Obama years and now during Biden, if you spent the same energy on attacking them, you'd actually be successful as you do on attacking me in many cases.
01:22:46.000 The Democrats don't have grandstanders like Mitt Romney, Little Ben Sass, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey,
01:23:02.000 and in the House, Tom Rice, South Carolina, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez, that's another beauty, Fred Upton, Jamie Herrera Butler, Peter Meyer, John Catko, David Valladeau, and of course, the warmonger, a person that loves seeing our troops fighting, Liz Cheney.
01:23:32.000 How about that?
01:23:37.000 The good news is in her state, she's been censured, and in her state, her poll numbers have dropped faster than any human being I've ever seen.
01:23:47.000 So hopefully they'll get rid of her with the next election.
01:23:52.000 Get rid of them all.
01:23:54.000 Democrats are vicious.
01:23:56.000 Remember this, it's true.
01:23:58.000 Democrats are vicious, he said evil.
01:24:00.000 Well, there is evil there.
01:24:02.000 But they're vicious, they're smart, and they do one thing.
01:24:06.000 Got to hand it to them.
01:24:07.000 They always stick together.
01:24:10.000 You don't have Mitt Romney's in the group.
01:24:12.000 They always stick together.
01:24:13.000 Fortunately, for the Republican Party, the Democrats have horrible policies like open borders, sanctuary cities, defunding the police, and the ridiculous, totally ridiculous, Green New Deal.
01:24:27.000 So they stick together, they're smart, they're vicious, they got everything going, but their policies are no good.
01:24:34.000 So hence, we have, congratulations, the Republican Party.
01:24:47.000 After this, they may not stick with those policies.
01:24:49.000 We have to be careful.
01:24:50.000 No, their policies are horrible.
01:24:52.000 Think of it.
01:24:53.000 Defund the police.
01:24:54.000 How did that work out?
01:24:56.000 But if Republicans do not stick together, the rhinos that we're surrounded with will destroy the Republican Party and the American worker and will destroy our country itself.
01:25:10.000 The rhinos, you know, Republican in name only.
01:25:15.000 But the Republican Party is united.
01:25:18.000 The only division is between a handful of Washington, D.C. establishment political hacks and everybody else all over the country.
01:25:27.000 I think we have tremendous unity.
01:25:29.000 When you look at the crowds outside that want your seat so badly, they will take your seat in two seconds.
01:25:35.000 They want your seat.
01:25:37.000 Congratulations.
01:25:38.000 Congratulations on getting in, by the way.
01:25:40.000 I'm very proud.
01:25:45.000 And that's why I'm announcing that I will be actively working to elect strong, tough, and smart Republican leaders.
01:26:20.000 Speaking of that, I heard Jim Jordan did a great job, right?
01:26:27.000 I heard that from Mark Meadows.
01:26:30.000 I heard it.
01:26:30.000 Oh, there he is.
01:26:31.000 Look at that.
01:26:32.000 Hi, Jim.
01:26:33.000 I heard you were great.
01:26:34.000 In fact, I hated to follow you.
01:26:36.000 I want to follow other people.
01:26:38.000 I could name them too.
01:26:39.000 I like to follow other people.
01:26:41.000 I heard you were great.
01:26:42.000 Thank you, Jim, very much.
01:26:43.000 Jim Jordan, a great, great athlete.
01:26:46.000 People don't know he was a great wrestler, tremendous numbers of victories.
01:26:51.000 The NC, he was a champion.
01:26:53.000 He was college champion for a long period of time.
01:26:57.000 He's a winner and a leader, and he doesn't play games.
01:27:01.000 He likes to win.
01:27:02.000 He likes to win.
01:27:03.000 And we have a lot of people in our party that like to win, Jim, right?
01:27:06.000 But I heard you were great.
01:27:07.000 Thank you very much.
01:27:10.000 But we want Republican leaders who are loyal to the voters and who will work proudly for the vision that I've laid out today.
01:27:18.000 So simple, right?
01:27:18.000 What is it?
01:27:19.000 So simple.
01:27:20.000 Military, law and order, great trade deals, great education.
01:27:25.000 So simple.
01:27:26.000 I don't, does anybody get it?
01:27:28.000 What are they doing?
01:27:30.000 Does anybody get it?
01:27:31.000 It has just been stated that President Trump's endorsement is the most powerful asset in politics.
01:27:38.000 You believe that?
01:27:39.000 Who would have thought that was going to happen?
01:27:41.000 Who would have thought that's going to happen, Jim?
01:27:45.000 In last year's congressional primaries, 120, listen to this, it's crazy.
01:27:52.000 120 of 122 candidates, I endorsed, won.
01:27:56.000 120.
01:27:58.000 That's almost as good as Jim's wrestling record.
01:28:03.000 And the two that lost were beaten by people claiming to be more Trump than their opponent.
01:28:09.000 So I like those two people very much also.
01:28:12.000 In the Senate, I was undefeated in endorsements with a record of 21-0.
01:28:17.000 My endorsement of Mitch McConnell at his request.
01:28:24.000 It's all right.
01:28:25.000 It's all right.
01:28:27.000 Now he made a request.
01:28:28.000 He asked for my endorsement.
01:28:30.000 Brought him from one point down to 20 points up, and he won his race in the great state and actually the great Commonwealth of Kentucky.
01:28:41.000 And he won it, and he won it very easily.
01:28:45.000 And I said, I wonder if I'm doing the right thing here.
01:28:47.000 But you know what?
01:28:49.000 I did what I did.
01:28:50.000 But he went from one point down to 20 points up very quickly, immediately, actually.
01:28:57.000 And he won his race.
01:28:58.000 And if you compare that to his other elections, I'm sure you see something interesting.
01:29:02.000 But you know what?
01:29:03.000 We got a Republican elected.
01:29:05.000 And now we have to use Republicans to take care of the election frauds and all of the other things that are happening that shouldn't be allowed to happen in our country.
01:29:14.000 It's very simple.
01:29:16.000 Because of my efforts campaigning, we had huge gains in the House.
01:29:21.000 And I helped keep many senators in their seats.
01:29:24.000 And they will admit it so that it's now 50-50 instead of Republicans being down anywhere from eight to ten seats.
01:29:32.000 And they'll admit it.
01:29:34.000 We'd be down eight to ten seats if I didn't campaign.
01:29:36.000 We held rallies for some of the senators that were down, and nobody talks about that.
01:29:42.000 Nobody wants to talk to the press list and talk about it.
01:29:44.000 With me at the top of the ticket, not a single Republican member of Congress lost their race for the first time in decades.
01:29:52.000 We won 26 of 26 toss-up races.
01:29:56.000 Toss-up.
01:30:05.000 Think of that.
01:30:06.000 26 of 20.
01:30:07.000 And those are toss-ups.
01:30:08.000 Those are races that could go anyway.
01:30:11.000 We were expected to lose 25 seats, and instead we won 15 seats.
01:30:17.000 And almost, oh, why couldn't we have done a couple of more?
01:30:20.000 Almost cost crazy Nancy her job.
01:30:25.000 We'll do that the next time around.
01:30:27.000 I received almost, listen to this number, because you know the fake news doesn't ever talk about these numbers.
01:30:32.000 I just heard this one for the first time.
01:30:34.000 I received almost 1.5 million more votes than all of the Republican House candidates combined.
01:30:42.000 So how the hell is it possible that we lost?
01:30:45.000 It's not possible.
01:30:47.000 I got more votes.
01:30:49.000 I got more, which is me.
01:30:51.000 When I say I, I'm talking about we.
01:30:53.000 We, we got more votes than any incumbent.
01:30:57.000 Any incumbent president in the history of our country, almost 75 million votes.
01:31:05.000 And that doesn't include the votes and ballots they threw out, okay?
01:31:09.000 If you include them, you'll see numbers that are much different.
01:31:13.000 We did even better in the second election than we did in the first.
01:31:16.000 You know, I won the first.
01:31:18.000 We won the second.
01:31:19.000 We did much better.
01:31:20.000 Sort of strange, right?
01:31:22.000 Well, we did much better the second time.
01:31:22.000 How did you do?
01:31:24.000 Oh, you did, really?
01:31:26.000 What a disgrace.
01:31:27.000 What a disgrace to our country.
01:31:29.000 I got over 11 million, very close to 12 million more votes than we got in 2016.
01:31:36.000 And I was told by John McLaughlin that if you, the great pollster, that if you get to see, we had 63 in 2016, 63 million.
01:31:47.000 Sir, if you get to 66 million, you have it made.
01:31:50.000 We got to almost 75 million.
01:31:52.000 And what the hell happened?
01:31:54.000 What happened?
01:31:55.000 What happened when they closed all of the counting booths?
01:31:58.000 What happened at 3 o'clock in the morning?
01:32:01.000 What happened at 3.02 in the morning?
01:32:05.000 What happened?
01:32:07.000 No president has ever lost an election after carrying Florida, Ohio, and Iowa.
01:32:15.000 And I won them all, and I won them by a lot, by a lot.
01:32:19.000 I won 94% of the primary vote.
01:32:22.000 No incumbent president who received more than 75% of the primary vote has ever lost an election.
01:32:30.000 I had a record number and no president has ever, ever, and we're talking about a much lower number than we got, has ever lost an election.
01:32:43.000 Thanks to my coattails, thank you.
01:32:47.000 We have to have a sense of humor.
01:32:49.000 Thanks to my coattails, Democrats failed to flip a single state legislature.
01:32:56.000 Think of it.
01:32:57.000 Or a legislative chamber because Republicans came out to vote for me.
01:33:02.000 Now they say it differently.
01:33:03.000 The press, the fake news spins it differently.
01:33:05.000 They say, despite how well they did, Trump didn't win.
01:33:11.000 That's such a lie.
01:33:13.000 And many legislatures, you know, many legislators told me, they said, they're going to lose their race.
01:33:20.000 It wasn't going to happen.
01:33:21.000 And then what happened is one in particular told me from a great swing state, said, you know, I thought I was going to lose my position, lose my race.
01:33:29.000 And I went out with my wife the night before the election and I saw all these Trump signs and the American flags and the spirits on the streets.
01:33:37.000 I said, you know, darling, I think we're going to win.
01:33:39.000 He said, but you were far, far, far more popular than me.
01:33:43.000 They do lots of polls.
01:33:45.000 You were way, way ahead of me, sir.
01:33:47.000 And the next day I was right.
01:33:49.000 He said, he won the election by a lot.
01:33:53.000 And you lost the election.
01:33:55.000 And, sir, it's not possible that you lost because you got a lower number than I did.
01:34:00.000 And you were so far ahead of me.
01:34:02.000 You're the person that brought everybody out to vote.
01:34:05.000 And I happen to agree with that 1,000%.
01:34:09.000 Never forget that conversation.
01:34:11.000 He couldn't believe it.
01:34:12.000 And I've heard it from more than one.
01:34:16.000 And in November, 18 of 19 Bellwether counties, you heard about the Bellwether counties?
01:34:22.000 18 of 19 Bellwether counties that have correctly predicted every presidential election for decades, many decades, voted for Trump, not for Biden.
01:34:37.000 And it was a shocker to those people that go for the stats.
01:34:43.000 It was a shocker.
01:34:44.000 They voted for Trump.
01:34:45.000 18 of 19 voted for Trump.
01:34:48.000 There's never been anything like that.
01:34:50.000 And yet, did Biden win?
01:34:51.000 No.
01:34:52.000 If you want to help us take back the future of our country, go to DonaldJTrump.com.
01:34:58.000 I don't do this.
01:34:59.000 I've never done this, but it's time that we have to put forces together because these people with their big tech and their fake news media right back there, okay?
01:35:08.000 And you know, when you talk about election, they turn off.
01:35:11.000 When you talk about, they probably have them going because they also care about ratings.
01:35:15.000 But when they talk about election, they turn off the cameras.
01:35:19.000 You know why?
01:35:20.000 It's a very sore subject, okay?
01:35:22.000 They don't like that subject.
01:35:24.000 There's only one way to contribute to our efforts to elect America first Republican conservatives and in turn to make America great again, and that's through Save America PAC and Donaldjtrump.com.
01:35:37.000 So go out there and do whatever you can because we're going to help a lot of great people.
01:35:42.000 We know the right people to help.
01:35:43.000 We need your help to win and to fight big tech and the radical left and the DC establishment.
01:35:49.000 We need to save your Second Amendment, which is under siege.
01:35:53.000 We need to help protect funding for our military and for our great vets, and that's what we're doing.
01:35:59.000 As we discussed earlier, we're in a struggle for the survival of America as we know it.
01:36:07.000 This is a struggle.
01:36:08.000 This is a terrible, terrible, painful struggle.
01:36:12.000 The path ahead will not be easy, but we will win.
01:36:15.000 We are going to win.
01:36:16.000 Ultimately, we always win.
01:36:19.000 And when we do, history will show that this was the moment when we could have given up, when we could have despaired, but instead we chose to keep on pushing forward.
01:36:31.000 The greater the challenge and tougher the task, the more determined we must be to pull through to triumph.
01:36:40.000 We have to have triumph.
01:36:43.000 We have to have victory.
01:36:45.000 With the talent and dedication of everyone here today, and you have tremendous, not only dedication, tremendous talent in this room, I know many of you, that is exactly what we will do.
01:36:58.000 We will go on to victory.
01:37:00.000 We will summon the spirit of generations of American patriots before us, like those heroes who crossed the Delaware, conquered the Rockies, stormed the beaches, won the battles, and tamed the unknown frontiers.
01:37:14.000 We will persist and we will prevail.
01:37:16.000 We're tougher than they are.
01:37:18.000 We're stronger than they are.
01:37:22.000 Together in the coming years, we will carry forward the torch of American liberty.
01:37:27.000 We will lead the conservative movement and the Republican Party back to a totally conclusive victory.
01:37:34.000 And we've had tremendous victories.
01:37:36.000 Don't ever forget it.
01:37:39.000 With your help, we will take back the House.
01:37:42.000 We will win the Senate.
01:37:44.000 And then a Republican president will make a triumphant return to the White House.
01:37:52.000 And I wonder who that will be.
01:37:56.000 I wonder who that will be.
01:38:05.000 Who, who, who will that be?
01:38:07.000 I wonder.
01:38:15.000 Standing before you today, I am supremely confident that for our movement, for our party, and for our country, our brightest days are just ahead.
01:38:28.000 And that together we will make America prouder, freer, stronger, and greater than it ever has been before.
01:38:36.000 Thank you.
01:38:37.000 CPAC, God bless you, and God bless America.
