00:02:30.000 Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show with me as a friend, patriot, veteran, someone who really loves his country, and we've worked together on a variety of different things.
00:02:41.000 Graham Allen.
00:02:42.000 Graham, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:02:44.000 Thanks for having me, man.
00:02:45.000 I appreciate it.
00:02:47.000 So Graham is terrific, and Graham works with us on a show at Turning Point USA.
00:02:52.000 We're going to be talking politics today, so Turning Point is separate from that.
00:02:55.000 It's being a 501c3.
00:02:57.000 I just have to make that very clear.
00:02:59.000 Graham, you had a big announcement recently.
00:03:01.000 You are running for Congress against someone who should no longer be a Congressman.
00:03:06.000 Tell us all about it.
00:03:07.000 Yeah.
00:03:08.000 So this is day six.
00:03:10.000 So day six on the campaign trail.
00:03:13.000 We got to announce on Fox News that we are primaring Tom Rice out of South Carolina's District 7.
00:03:20.000 Tom Rice is one of the infamous 10 Congressmen and women that voted to impeach President Trump.
00:03:29.000 And you're right.
00:03:30.000 I don't like to say that he deserves to be removed because of an impeachment vote.
00:03:34.000 I like to say it like this.
00:03:35.000 Tom Rice forgot his place.
00:03:39.000 And what I mean by that is our, well, hopefully mine one day, but our elected officials' place is to represent and be a conduit to the voice of the people that they represent.
00:03:50.000 District 7, Donald Trump won by 20 points in 2016 and in 2020.
00:03:57.000 So, Tom Rice, what he did is what happens to a lot of people, whether they may have good intentions or not, they go to DC and they become politicians.
00:04:06.000 This is why I believe in term limits.
00:04:08.000 This is why I believe that no one should be in Congress or DC for forever, because there comes a point where you are no longer a average citizen and you think you know what's best for the people you represent, which is the exact opposite of the mindset you should have.
00:04:25.000 Tom Rice says that he voted the way he believed that he should vote.
00:04:30.000 That is the direct opposite of what you're supposed to do as a representative of a district.
00:04:36.000 You represent 750,000 people.
00:04:38.000 It doesn't matter what Tom Rice thinks.
00:04:41.000 It matters what the people that voted for Tom Rice think in his district.
00:04:45.000 And he has proven that he forgot that.
00:04:48.000 And he just did it again, literally, just did it again for this commission, this bipartisan commission that they're going to have.
00:04:57.000 And I did the air quotes when I said that.
00:04:59.000 It's really the Pelosi Commission on the events that happened with January 6th.
00:05:04.000 He voted again.
00:05:06.000 I think it was 35 Republicans that voted for that.
00:05:09.000 So it's quite sad.
00:05:10.000 We need to not only take back the House and the Senate 2022, Charlie, we need to fortify the House and the Senate in 2022.
00:05:19.000 So are there any other people running against Tom Rice that we know of?
00:05:23.000 That we know of as far as 13 of us.
00:05:27.000 And so yeah, there's 13 of us as of right now.
00:05:32.000 And so, yes, we are very hopeful that our message, which is to give the power back to the people, is very, it really is quite simple, really.
00:05:45.000 Our goal is to give the power back to the people where it belongs.
00:05:48.000 I believe that the Lord has blessed me with a platform that allows me an ability to do things that a lot of people can't do.
00:05:57.000 I have the ability to open up my phone and talk to all 750,000 people within my district about what's going on.
00:06:06.000 How do you want me to vote?
00:06:08.000 How do you want this to be done?
00:06:09.000 How do you want your voice to be heard?
00:06:12.000 I want to be the most transparent congressman in history.
00:06:17.000 You know, we could all take notes from President Trump, how he did it, his transparency in the media, how readily available he was for praise and criticism.
00:06:29.000 So I'm hopeful that that message will resonate and we will outfundraise and hopefully a lot of these people will start dropping out because everybody knows if 13 people go into primary, the odds are that the incumbent's going to.
00:06:44.000 Now, is it a runoff or is it straight up?
00:06:48.000 This is straight up.
00:06:49.000 So, I mean, I'm sure that there could be a runoff potentially, but right now there's 13 people declared.
00:06:56.000 You know, hopefully, if early indications of small dollar donations are any clue, I think that a lot of Americans and a lot of people, especially in South Carolina, are resonating with us and our message, which is just simply give the power back to the people where it belongs.
00:07:14.000 Get big government out of the states and just give the power back to the people because that's how America was supposed to be.

00:07:48.000 I know when I used Legacy Box, it was so easy.
00:07:51.000 And I could tell you, Mr. Producer used Legacy Box as well, and he says great things about it.
00:07:55.000 You just put it all in a box, you send it to them, and all of a sudden it's digitally preserved forever.

00:08:23.000 Go to legacybox.com slash Kirk, legacybox.com/slash Kirk.
00:08:30.000 So Tom Rice is a collection of many Republicans that are kind of these corporate Republicans, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Peter Meyer, you know, people that are quite honestly very worthless as politicians.
00:08:41.000 And they might be nice people, but they should go be lobbyists or something.
00:08:44.000 One of the issues you and I care about the most is regulating and breaking up big tech.
00:08:50.000 And I use those words intentionally, regulation and breaking up.
00:08:53.000 No more of this kind of innocent vanilla language.
00:08:57.000 They have declared war on us.
00:08:58.000 These tech companies have decided our viewpoints don't matter, that our voices have no value.
00:09:04.000 You and I both have, I mean, you have more followers than I do on Facebook.
00:09:07.000 And between both of us, we have millions and millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook and YouTube.
00:09:12.000 And we've both made a following and money from these tech companies.
00:09:17.000 But you and I both know that they have shut off and they can shut off the spigot at any time.
00:09:22.000 And that is just the beginning of the terror that they are able to exercise over us.
00:09:27.000 Tell us about what you will do in Congress when you do defeat Tom Rice and then you do in the general to break up these tech companies.
00:09:35.000 Well, first of all, Charlie, I think you put it very well, is this part of the issue that we see with elected officials right now is that we, I keep saying we, I'm not an elected official, but our elected officials don't do a good enough job of educating the everyday American of what's really going on and what the actual dangers are.
00:09:58.000 You know, what's actually dangerous about HR1, what's actually dangerous about the Brand New Deal, what's actually dangerous about big tech and Section 230.
00:10:07.000 The actual danger is we are literally maybe a few months away from Chinese Communist Propagandist Party, which is on social media, controlling what we see, what we hear, what we're allowed to say, what we're allowed to share, what we're allowed to read, what we're allowed to listen to.
00:10:27.000 I've said this multiple times.
00:10:28.000 Back when the election was still going on, the New York Post bombshell that was the Hunter Biden laptop, et cetera, suppressing that because they couldn't verify it immediately was the equivalency of burning books back in 1930.
00:10:44.000 And it is.
00:10:45.000 It is.
00:10:45.000 It's digital burning of books and trying to manipulate what information the American people are supposed to have.
00:10:53.000 So I'll say this, Charlie.
00:10:54.000 Me and you get it.
00:10:56.000 We're younger guys.
00:10:57.000 We understand.
00:10:58.000 Obviously, we have made a living learning behind the veil of social media.
00:11:05.000 The generations that are my generation in their mid-30s, and especially the generation above me, they have no idea how big of a threat big tech poses to their children, to their children's children, and to their children's children.
00:11:20.000 If we don't fight to break up big tech right now, and what I mean by breaking them up from regulating, like you said, removing this Section 230 loophole, because it was created in the late 90s, before you had social media accounts and things like this, readily available information to the everyday American.
00:11:41.000 If we don't stop it now, and if we don't fight it now, and I hold a lot of Republicans accountable when we had the House and the Senate back in 2016, because we didn't do anything about it then.
00:11:53.000 And look where it's gotten us now.
00:11:55.000 So, what we actually need, Charlie, is we need people, new people, hybrid candidates.
00:12:01.000 I've talked about this a lot.
00:12:02.000 We need people that are not only have a voice that, as you said earlier, can be taken away at any time because social media has more power than the president of the United States.
00:12:11.000 We've already seen that.
00:12:12.000 We need fighters and we need more than a vote.
00:12:15.000 We need a voice.
00:12:16.000 We need people that are not afraid to go up against big tech because people like us have been going up against big tech for the past four or five years.
00:12:25.000 We're used to big tech being upset with us.
00:12:28.000 We're used to big tech being mad at us.
00:12:30.000 Here's the thing: I listened to one of your episodes and I completely agreed with it.
00:12:35.000 Why did Facebook and Instagram not reinstate Donald Trump?
00:12:39.000 Because they know that they're betting that even if the Republicans get the majority again, they're not going to do anything about it.
00:12:48.000 They're more afraid of the Democrats of the left because you can say what you want to about them, but right now they are on attack and they are on attack mode and they are going to take down every single person that stands in their way.
00:13:02.000 Well, I hate to say it like this.
00:13:04.000 And I know that we are conservatives and we are the party.
00:13:08.000 We are actually the party of equality and understanding and incorporating of all race, religion, gender, whatever.
00:13:16.000 But we need to go on offense now.
00:13:19.000 We've been playing defense for so long.
00:13:21.000 We've been playing prevent defense, which is proven to never work ever.
00:13:25.000 We need to go on offense.
00:13:27.000 We need to not only take back the House in the Senate, Charlie.
00:13:30.000 We need to be working with current congressmen and congresswomen and senators that are in there that are good ones.
00:13:37.000 And we need to be coming up with legislation that on day one, when we take back majority, we have 10, 15, 20 pieces of legislation to go to the floor day one.
00:13:48.000 None of this, well, it take, I've heard it all.
00:13:50.000 In six days, I've heard so many elitist establishment out of touch excuses for things.
00:13:58.000 Well, it takes a congressman a year to two years to figure out what's going on.
00:14:03.000 And then year two, they finally get their feet underneath them.
00:14:06.000 And then eventually they pass.
00:14:08.000 No, we need to be working with the people that are there right now that we intend on joining the ranks.
00:14:14.000 And we need to work together and break up big tech because if we don't do it, if we do not put Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, I don't know who the YouTube person is, and Google.
00:14:26.000 Google is the worst out of all of them.
00:14:28.000 Yeah.
00:14:29.000 If we do not take the fight to them, I love what Ron DeSantis is doing right now.
00:14:33.000 I think it needs to go across the board, not just politicians, but Americans in general.
00:14:38.000 If Americans are censored or cut off for their viewpoint, you need to find these companies millions of dollars a day.
00:14:46.000 Because if you affect the stockholders, you affect Mark Zuckerberg.
00:14:49.000 I love your Supreme Court analogy.
00:14:51.000 You know, Facebook has this Supreme Court.
00:14:53.000 Do you really think that Mark Zuckerberg doesn't have the final say-so or the final nudge of which way that Supreme Court goes?
00:15:00.000 No, you affect their shareholders, you affect their pocketbooks, and they are a worldwide company.
00:15:06.000 That's another thing that Americans forget.
00:15:08.000 Facebook is a worldwide company.
00:15:09.000 So we need to stop treating them like they are only focused on America.
00:15:13.000 No, they're only focused on treating America unfairly as opposed to other countries.
00:15:18.000 So we need to treat them as such.
00:15:20.000 If they want to be an enemy to the American people, to the American way of life, our First Amendment rights, then we need to start treating them that way and we need to act accordingly.
00:15:31.000 I had a recent experience where I wished I could have texted a local service provider.
00:15:34.000 Instead, I had to call or email them.
00:15:36.000 If you've been around long enough, you remember the following technology innovations.
00:15:39.000 In the 90s, your business is needed an email address.
00:15:42.000 In the 2000s, you needed a website.
00:15:44.000 By 2010, you had to get ahead by your social media presence.
00:15:47.000 I'm telling you that in 2021, your business needs to be texting.
00:15:51.000 Podium is a messaging platform to power your business.
00:15:53.000 It helps you reach your customers wherever they are.
00:15:56.000 Businesses messaging with podium help you gain reviews, collect payments, and communicate with customers and capture leads, all from a single inbox.
00:16:04.000 Podium helps you adapt to the changing customer expectations.
00:16:08.000 When I find out a business context, I'm going to use that business because it's more convenient for me.
00:16:13.000 RPM Alamo increased their business by 20%.
00:16:16.000 Quote, We've generated more revenue, decreased vacancy rates, and pulled in more leads than we could have in multiple years.
00:16:23.000 Tony, the owner of RPM Alamo.
00:16:23.000 This is priceless.
00:16:25.000 Or how about South Tampa Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, who collected nearly 1,200 reviews, averaging 4.9 stars?
00:16:34.000 Quote, the number of walk-ins as a result of our reviews has skyrocketed.
00:16:37.000 Before, we were seeing maybe 50 to 100 new patients a month.
00:16:40.000 Now we're seeing closer to 200.
00:16:42.000 Dr. Wyatt of South Tampa Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
00:16:46.000 Find out how podium can help your business reach more customers.
00:16:49.000 Get started today, right now, for free at podium.com/slash Charlie.
00:16:53.000 That's podium.com/slash Charlie.
00:16:58.000 So there seems to be a lot of frustration people have towards Washington.
00:17:03.000 And I guess, can you talk about how you're going to be willing to use your position as a congressman as a communication arm to explain what's happening?
00:17:13.000 You know, legislatively, things die and you're going to have a Democrat president for the next couple of years, right?
00:17:18.000 So what else can you do outside of just bills that you think you can make the conservative movement not just progressively conservative, which is a bunch of nonsense, but actually defending things that matter?
00:17:30.000 Yep.
00:17:32.000 The thing that I think President Trump did, that in my opinion, is the greatest thing he did.
00:17:37.000 He did a lot of amazing things as president.
00:17:40.000 But the thing that he doesn't get enough credit for is what I think is the most powerful thing that he actually did.
00:17:46.000 Donald Trump removed the veil that was the American people to politics.
00:17:51.000 Before President Trump got into office, most people couldn't tell you five things that were the top five things that were being talked about in the world, in the country, in politics.
00:18:02.000 They didn't even really know who was running for president until the primaries were over, et cetera.
00:18:08.000 Nobody cared.
00:18:09.000 One thing that I am very proud of the American people right now is that they are fighting back against the Biden administration because they are asking the question: where are you?
00:18:18.000 Why aren't you talking to us?
00:18:20.000 Why aren't you readily available?
00:18:22.000 What I think that we need these hybrid candidates to go in that do have a voice is because here's the truth, Charlie.
00:18:29.000 Me and you have talked about this a lot.
00:18:31.000 There are some bills that are going to pass no matter what you do, even if you oppose them, even if you don't.
00:18:38.000 That's just the way it is.
00:18:38.000 That's why majorities are there.
00:18:40.000 That's why minorities are there.
00:18:42.000 We need people that can actually educate the American people as to why they didn't pass.
00:18:49.000 Let me explain to you about this bill.
00:18:51.000 Let me explain to you why HR1 is dangerous.
00:18:54.000 Let me explain why the Democrats seem to want to be anti-Israel all of a sudden.
00:18:59.000 Let me explain to you why this is a big deal.
00:19:02.000 Let me explain to you where our standpoints are, where this affects us on a national level, where it affects you on a state level, where it affects you in a district in that state level.
00:19:11.000 And this is why it's not passing because these individuals, these people do not want it to pass because they do not care about you.
00:19:18.000 What that does, Charlie, is if we become more transparent with people that have the ability to reach more people, President Trump can't be the only voice for the Republican Party.
00:19:31.000 He just can't be.
00:19:32.000 He can't be.
00:19:33.000 He could be the leader of the Republican Party.
00:19:35.000 He could be the president, but he can't be the only person that is able to speak.
00:19:40.000 We need to surround the Republican Party or the GOP or conservatives with an army of fighters around them to educate the American people.
00:19:50.000 Because if you're able to get the word out, then you do affect voters the next voting cycle and you do affect opinions that hopefully can affect change as we move on and as we go forward.
00:20:03.000 Because right now, Republicans have the minority vote, which if we're being completely honest, your vote really doesn't mean a whole lot if it is always going to pass because the Democrats want it to pass.
00:20:14.000 So what should we be doing right now?
00:20:17.000 We should have people that have voices and the ability to stand up and educate the American people.
00:20:22.000 This is why $15 an hour is going to tank the economy.
00:20:25.000 This is why adding another $4 trillion in debt is going to cause inflation and your children's children's children are going to be feeling the effects of this.
00:20:33.000 That's how we affect voters in the future.
00:20:35.000 That's how we affect voters in the long run because they're so used to being fed propaganda from the fake news media.
00:20:43.000 They need people that can literally sit there on their phone and say, I just came from the chamber.
00:20:49.000 This is exactly what happened.
00:20:50.000 This is exactly what's going on.
00:20:52.000 And you need to be aware of it because you are, I'm assuming that I get in.
00:20:57.000 You are our boss.
00:20:59.000 You are the governing power and authority in America, the people.
00:21:03.000 And if the people don't know what's going on, how in the world are we supposed to know and represent the will of the people?
00:21:11.000 Yeah.
00:21:11.000 So in closing here, Graham, talk about some of the other issues you really are passionate about, life, Second Amendment, veterans issues, and talk a little bit about yourself.
00:21:20.000 You might be new to some of our audience.
00:21:22.000 Well, I did 12 years in the Army, so I'm very pro-military.
00:21:26.000 We need a strong military.
00:21:27.000 I'm all about it.
00:21:28.000 I am very concerned, like a lot of people, with a lot of advertisements that we're seeing here lately.
00:21:35.000 It seems like the U.S. military is trying to lean towards this wokeism that's very scary.
00:21:41.000 I just want to remind everyone that the sole purpose of the military of the United States is to destroy the enemies of the United States, both foreign and domestic.
00:21:52.000 That's it.
00:21:53.000 That is the defining principle of the United States military.
00:21:57.000 I am very pro-police.
00:21:58.000 We need police with more money, not less, more training and more equipment and more assets at their disposable to be able to do their jobs.
00:22:07.000 We need border security.
00:22:09.000 Oh my gosh, we can go all day about this.
00:22:12.000 It is more than just votes that are bought and paid for that become blue votes.
00:22:18.000 We have an opioid and a child sex trafficking epidemic within or pandemic epidemic, whatever you want to call it within our country right now that we're not able to fight against properly because we have our border patrol agents having to babysit all of these people that are coming in at the border.
00:22:33.000 We have to know who these people are.
00:22:35.000 We have to know where they came from.
00:22:37.000 We have to know what their reasonings are for being here.
00:22:41.000 It is the most military basic thing ever.
00:22:43.000 When you are setting up a territory in times of war, you fortify your position because if you can't protect your home base, you're not going to be able to do anything.
00:22:53.000 It is the most basic thing.
00:22:54.000 If you have a bleed on your leg, you don't go around doing your own business and just worry about the bleed later.
00:23:00.000 No, you handle what's bleeding and you stop and you fix it.
00:23:04.000 And also, we need to fight to restore election integrity.
00:23:09.000 The American people need to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that their vote still matters.
00:23:16.000 We need to pass a voter ID.
00:23:20.000 Why is this even an issue in the first place?
00:23:22.000 You can't do anything without an ID.
00:23:24.000 Why should you be able to vote?
00:23:25.000 Signature verifications on absentee ballots that are justified.
00:23:29.000 Okay.
00:23:30.000 Are there some people that have to turn in absentee ballots?
00:23:32.000 Absolutely.
00:23:33.000 I was literally in Iraq in the war and had to do an absentee ballot.
00:23:39.000 That would be a reason why somebody perhaps could not be able to be there to vote.
00:23:43.000 But on the flip side, we also have to be able to look at Americans and say, if you can't get off your butt to go to the poll to go vote, you're not exercising your right to really vote, are you?
00:23:55.000 We need to remind, we need to entrust, and we need to show the American people that their vote matters.
00:24:02.000 Because if the American people don't think that their vote matters, well, we saw some of that in Georgia just here in the Senate runoff.
00:24:11.000 Yeah.
00:24:12.000 So how could people contact you and support you, Graham, in your very important endeavor to retire Tom Rice?
00:24:18.000 Yes.
00:24:19.000 Well, Charlie, thank you for letting me come on.
00:24:21.000 If you believe what we believe, that the power should be with the people, that you, the American people, are the boss, you can check out the campaign at grahamallensc.com.
