00:00:35.000 That is tpusa.com.
00:00:37.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:38.000 Here, we go.
00:00:39.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:41.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:43.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:46.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:49.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:50.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:52.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:00.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:09.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:12.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:22.000 One of the tricks of the left is they make you fight on issues that shouldn't actually be issues.
00:01:29.000 If I would have told you 20 or 30 years ago that we would be having protests and screaming matches over having men who are cheaters, narcissists, freaks, compete in female sports, I'd say, hold on a second.
00:01:42.000 That's not an issue.
00:01:43.000 This is all by design.
00:01:44.000 They've moved the overtime window where now we have to defend female sports.
00:01:48.000 Female sports, as we know it, will cease to exist as a categorization of athletics in the next couple of years if this pace continues.
00:01:57.000 We see it in weightlifting.
00:01:59.000 We see it in track and field.
00:02:00.000 And of course, we saw it in swimming where the cheat, Thomas, man who thinks he's a woman, appropriating womanhood, won the NCAA championship.
00:02:08.000 And the first runner-up, the person who should have won the national championship, Riley Gaines.
00:02:13.000 Riley Gaines from the University of Kentucky.
00:02:14.000 And she has a lot of courage, moral clarity.
00:02:16.000 She's been speaking out about the injustice, the unfairness that used to always be something the left would talk about.
00:02:23.000 Justice, fairness.
00:02:24.000 We need to stand for women's rights.
00:02:26.000 We just had Women Equality Month, where they actually used Dylan Mulvaney in some advertisements, and they use Thomas as saying, ESPN did a whole thing, Disney, saying, look, we're advancing women's progress.
00:02:41.000 Here's a man.
00:02:43.000 They're trying to obliterate the moral fabric of society.
00:02:46.000 And at Turning Point USA, we are leaning in on this.
00:02:48.000 There's a lot of conservative groups.
00:02:49.000 They sit on their hands.
00:02:50.000 They do nothing, as you could probably tell.
00:02:53.000 They talk a good game, but they do nothing.
00:02:54.000 At Turning Point USA, we have proven time and time again, we play offense.
00:02:58.000 We go to the places that need to hear the message.
00:03:01.000 We have chapters in every nook and cranny, liberal, conservative, left-wing, totalitarian, Marxist.
00:03:06.000 We have chapters.
00:03:07.000 We're trying to get the next generation to embrace the ideas of liberty and freedom and American exceptionalism.
00:03:12.000 I'm proud of our team at Turning Point USA.
00:03:14.000 They have courage.
00:03:15.000 We could have took last week off.
00:03:17.000 Last week was a holy week, and we didn't have to be hosting events, but no, no, our Turning Point USA team, the front lines, they said, you know what, we want to host an event in San Francisco, not just San Francisco, but University of Albany as well.
00:03:29.000 I'll get to that in a second.
00:03:30.000 At San Francisco State University, otherwise known as Stalingrad, Leningrad, very similar to a Maoist-type concentration camp.
00:03:40.000 And that's not an exaggeration.
00:03:42.000 You look at what these people, how they act and how they believe, it's unbelievable.
00:03:45.000 It's beyond comprehension.
00:03:46.000 It's an island of totalitarianism.
00:03:49.000 We decided to host Riley Gaines, the woman who was really cheated out of a national championship by a man.
00:03:57.000 She was there to talk about saving female sports.
00:03:59.000 That was the name of her speech, to save female sports.
00:04:02.000 Riley Gaines shows up at the Turning Point USA chapter at San Francisco State University and is met by some of the most angry terrorists you could imagine.
00:04:11.000 Now, we've dealt with these people.
00:04:13.000 We get death threats every single day from these kind of trans terrorists.
00:04:20.000 And there's a reason for it.
00:04:21.000 There's a reason why they act the way they do.
00:04:24.000 First of all, they're empowered by society and empowered by the media because there's no guardrails at all.
00:04:31.000 They're allowed to do whatever you want.
00:04:32.000 Remember, the victim is allowed to become the victimizer in postmodern politics.
00:04:36.000 They're allowed to do whatever.
00:04:37.000 They have a moral license to destroy.
00:04:40.000 They believe revenge is virtuous.
00:04:43.000 These are very angry people.
00:04:46.000 We could show some of the images on screen, but this was planned for a quote-unquote counter-protest and a sit-in.
00:04:53.000 They call her a transphobic speaker, which, of course, she's not transphobic.
00:04:57.000 She wants to uphold female sports.
00:04:59.000 She's very clear about that, but they don't care.
00:05:03.000 These people are deeply troubled themselves.
00:05:04.000 They're living under a delusion.
00:05:06.000 They're living in an imaginary existence.
00:05:09.000 I'm talking about trans people.
00:05:11.000 And that should, of course, be treated with compassion and care and should be given serious, addressed very seriously.
00:05:21.000 The way to address it is not to reaccommodate society and to change our customs or our traditions or our practices or our sports just because a bunch of people have mental problems.
00:05:31.000 It doesn't work that way.
00:05:32.000 You don't get an extra seat on an airplane just because you say you have an imaginary friend.
00:05:36.000 It doesn't work that way.
00:05:38.000 And they demand treatment.
00:05:42.000 They demand not just treatment.
00:05:44.000 They demand special privileges.
00:05:47.000 Sometimes money, pronoun usage.
00:05:51.000 And so, because of that, they have a tyrannical impulse.
00:05:58.000 And the T in LGBT stands for tyranny.
00:06:01.000 And it has for quite some time.
00:06:02.000 It's not enough that you live and let live.
00:06:04.000 It's live and let us rule over you.
00:06:06.000 We hate you, is what they say.
00:06:08.000 So Riley Gaines shows up at San Francisco State University and is met by these terrorists.
00:06:13.000 She's assaulted by them.
00:06:15.000 And she was held hostage for multiple hours at San Francisco State University.
00:06:19.000 The police were afraid.
00:06:20.000 The administration were afraid because remember, our country is currently being held hostage.
00:06:25.000 And this was just a microcosm.
00:06:27.000 It was a manifestation of our entire country being held hostage by the alphabet mafia.
00:06:32.000 This is happening in America.
00:06:34.000 This is not Mao'China.
00:06:35.000 This is not Pol Pots Cambodia.
00:06:37.000 This is not Stalin.
00:06:39.000 Stalin's Russia.
00:06:40.000 No, this is America on an American college campus where a woman is being held hostage by freak show.
00:06:46.000 Really, literally a freak show is holding her hostage.
00:06:50.000 Play cut three.
00:06:56.000 And move and move forward with them, okay?
00:07:00.000 Tell her to pay us.
00:07:00.000 Tell her to pay us that she could go.
00:07:05.000 So we could get paid for it too.
00:07:07.000 And that's not that great of a clip, but basically they're outside holding her hostage, demanding ransom.
00:07:15.000 She was violently assaulted by these trans activists.
00:07:17.000 And again, these people deserve care, but when you start to inject testosterone replacement therapy and these people start to act super erratic and violent, don't be surprised.
00:07:28.000 When you start to inject artificial treatments of testosterone to women and they start acting really violently because it's not in their natural hormone production, don't be shocked.
00:07:41.000 Play cut four.
00:07:42.000 This is her getting assaulted by the trans people.
00:08:08.000 Man, those screams of horror make you remember that in the Bible, demons always use pronouns.
00:08:13.000 They.
00:08:14.000 They them.
00:08:15.000 It's true.
00:08:16.000 Those screams are not normal.
00:08:18.000 I mean, she's there talking about female sports and they're just apoplectic.
00:08:21.000 It's tyrannical.
00:08:22.000 They have to find a villain.
00:08:24.000 And she manifested on campus.
00:08:26.000 Of course, the university vice president complimented the trans activists.
00:08:31.000 She said they have tremendous bravery and described them as behaving peacefully.
00:08:35.000 Same sort of thing that happened when I visited University of California, Davis.
00:08:38.000 Same sort of behavior that happened at Stanford University.
00:08:41.000 The leaders, the people that are stewards of the university, they want this.
00:08:44.000 They enjoy it.
00:08:46.000 The vice president of the university, San Francisco State University, released this statement and she said that, or the head Jamila Moore complimenting the students, called them brave.
00:09:00.000 It's a good thing that you guys assaulted Riley Gaines.
00:09:02.000 You ushered her off campus.
00:09:04.000 She was held hostage.
00:09:06.000 So the people that are in charge of society, the people that should be saying, this is a bad idea.
00:09:13.000 Stop doing this, despite it being pseudo-kidnapping and pseudo-extortion, are calling it brave and saying it was done peacefully.
00:09:22.000 It's so Orwelly and it's such a lie because deep down, Jamila Moore is afraid of the trans terrorists, and she should be.
00:09:30.000 These people are very, very scary if you don't actually have a plan and an understanding of who these people are because they can do whatever they want.
00:09:39.000 A trans person was going to shoot up a bunch of churches in Colorado.
00:09:42.000 Is that a national news story?
00:09:43.000 A trans person shot up six kids in Nashville.
00:09:46.000 Is that a national news story?
00:09:47.000 Of course not.
00:09:49.000 No, we have now decided as a society because good people are too afraid to stand up and do something, that if you have a deep-seated mental illness, then all of a sudden the society is yours.
00:10:00.000 You could do whatever you want.
00:10:01.000 And not only that, when you act in illegal ways, you get complimented by the administration as being brave.
00:10:09.000 You know who's brave?
00:10:10.000 Riley Gaines is brave.
00:10:11.000 You know who's brave?
00:10:12.000 The turning point USA students is brave.
00:10:14.000 It's not brave to show up in your bacon purple hair and punch her in the face.
00:10:19.000 That's a coward and you're a freak.
00:10:24.000 Hey, everybody, making the commitment to yourself to lose weight is very hard, but doing it alone is even harder.
00:10:29.000 Did you know that 95% of diets fail?
00:10:32.000 The number one reason is because they lack support.
00:10:34.000 I was very lucky when I started my trek towards a healthier life.
00:10:38.000 I found PhD weight loss and nutrition.
00:10:40.000 I've lost 17 pounds so far.
00:10:42.000 No joke.
00:10:43.000 It's a real thing.
00:10:44.000 The program is legit.
00:10:45.000 It's simple.
00:10:46.000 They tell you when to eat, what to eat, and they have a coach.
00:10:48.000 The coach is firm but fair, compassionate, and caring, but she holds me accountable.
00:10:53.000 She pushes me to new lifestyle changes, challenges me when I need to be challenged.
00:10:57.000 PhD weight loss and nutrition has an 85% success rate at getting the weight off.
00:10:57.000 Here's the thing.
00:11:02.000 They have some pretty unique ideas, I'm not going to lie, and they've been very effective to me.
00:11:06.000 So if you're looking to lose weight and make a change, which is good for your overall health, call 864-644-1900 to get started today.

00:11:27.000 Riley Gaines tries to show up at a college campus.
00:11:29.000 Now, we received a couple emails, not a lot.
00:11:31.000 They say, Charlie, why do you even go to these campuses?
00:11:34.000 You're provoking them.
00:11:34.000 That is a bad take.
00:11:36.000 It's America.
00:11:37.000 You should show up to any college campus you want to be able to speak about whatever you want, let alone something decent, something virtuous.
00:11:45.000 That's letting them win.
00:11:47.000 That is basically saying they control the institutions.
00:11:50.000 We're not going to show up.
00:11:51.000 We have a completely different philosophy at Turning Point USA.
00:11:55.000 It matters that we showed up at San Francisco State University.
00:11:58.000 By the way, it's not just isolated to that.
00:12:01.000 We had a Isabel Brown, one of our Turning Point USA contributors, tried to show up at Virginia Commonwealth University, VCU.
00:12:08.000 Entire event hijacked alongside Student for Life's Kristen Hawkins.
00:12:12.000 Protesters threw punches and injured a chapter president.
00:12:15.000 University of Albany, featuring pro-life speaker Ian Hayworth, interrupted by anti-Christian far-left students who proceeded to destroy a Bible, which could be interpreted as a hate crime, or at least an act of hate.
00:12:28.000 And by the way, you might say, oh, Charlie, that's not true.
00:12:30.000 Okay.
00:12:31.000 Let's pretend a gay speaker shows up and a bunch of people start burning the gay flag.
00:12:36.000 Do you think that there would have been an investigation into that?
00:12:39.000 Do you think that somebody would have mentioned that?
00:12:40.000 Of course they would.
00:12:42.000 Now, by the way, if a trans speaker, let's say that, you know, the Budweiser guy, the Dylan, the Dylan the Freak Show, shows up at a campus, and let's pretend a group of Christian-bearded men interrupted Dylan's speech.
00:13:03.000 Do you think that that would be national news?
00:13:07.000 And by the way, there were seven to ten uniformed and plain-clothed campus police officers, and it was just a 75-person event.
00:13:14.000 And yes, we're ramping up security.
00:13:16.000 And by the way, just so we're clear, you know, at Turning Point USA, we spend literally close to a million dollars a year on security as it is because of all the death threats.
00:13:23.000 And so, yes, we're going to increase it.
00:13:24.000 Yes, we're going to send out more.
00:13:26.000 But we thought, okay, local campus event, police there.
00:13:28.000 And okay, fine.
00:13:29.000 We're going to upgrade it.
00:13:30.000 Someone said here, Charlie, won't you have security here?
00:13:32.000 Security is not cheap, okay?
00:13:34.000 They said, Charlie, where on earth was her competent security?
00:13:38.000 Okay.
00:13:38.000 Again, we have literally well over 1,600 campuses, chapters across the country.
00:13:44.000 She spoke at other ones.
00:13:45.000 Sometimes there's security stuff.
00:13:46.000 So yes, this, by the way, the left knows what they're doing.
00:13:48.000 They want to make it so expensive for us to do our job.
00:13:52.000 We have to have 24-hour security on our campuses.
00:13:54.000 We have cameras everywhere.
00:13:56.000 When I show up at Davis, we had at least 12 of our own security guys.
00:14:00.000 That's part of their plan.
00:14:02.000 They laugh when all of a sudden we come to security.
00:14:04.000 They say, oh, what we're doing is working.
00:14:05.000 These people are terrorists.
00:14:07.000 By the way, we have her again at State University, New York, Buffalo, and our great security team will step up.
00:14:13.000 They're going to do a great job.
00:14:15.000 We're going to make sure this doesn't happen again.
00:14:16.000 People say, what about campus security?
00:14:17.000 Campus security is a joke.
00:14:18.000 And by the way, half the campus security are actually cool with her getting assaulted.
00:14:22.000 Just look at the statement from the university.
00:14:24.000 The fact that she got assaulted is called brave.
00:14:28.000 So yeah, people are asking, you know, emailing us, well, Charlie, where are the adults in the room?
00:14:32.000 The adults haven't been running this country for quite a while.
00:14:35.000 The pandering to the alphabet mafia is complete.
00:14:39.000 If you are trans and you're outspoken, you're allowed to assault people.
00:14:44.000 If you want to shoot up a school, you don't get blamed for being part of the trans group, tragically and terribly.
00:14:50.000 Where are the parents?
00:14:51.000 I have no idea.
00:14:52.000 Oh, by the way, if you're trans, you get sponsorship deals with Hershey's, Jack Daniels.
00:14:58.000 If you're trans and you dress and drag, you can get sponsorship deals with Bud Light.
00:15:03.000 But if you are a Christian conservative gun owner, you would never get a sponsorship deal with Nike.
00:15:08.000 Dylan, the man who shows up at the White House, gets treated like royalty, gets a sponsorship deal with Nike, Dylan Mulvaney.
00:15:20.000 I just call him Dylan the man because I'm so sick of this.
00:15:24.000 I was on the phone somebody the other day.
00:15:25.000 They said, well, Charlie, you know, that person, she should not have gotten that endorsement from Budweiser.
00:15:31.000 I said, no, no, no, just stop.
00:15:32.000 You got to be more precise with your language.
00:15:35.000 And not to mention, the Biden regime comes out and they say that trans people shape the soul of our nation.
00:15:43.000 The people that assault Riley Gaines on campus that punch her, hold her hostage, that's who Biden calls society shapers.
00:15:50.000 They're soul shapers.
00:15:52.000 They're like Martin Luther King.
00:15:53.000 They're the new moral compass of our country.
00:15:58.000 And I got to blame conservatives for this because for the last couple of years, I've heard conservatives say, well, Charlie, why does it impact you?
00:16:04.000 If somebody really believes they are somebody, why don't we just lay off this issue?
00:16:09.000 That sort of line of thinking gets us to a place where Riley Gaines shows up on campus and gets terrorized.
00:16:19.000 And again, I just want to be very clear.
00:16:21.000 If a group of trans people show up and speak on a campus, let's just say Dylan Mulvaney or whomever, and a bunch of Christians start, and they wouldn't do this, but a bunch of Christians interrupted them and stormed the event.
00:16:41.000 That would be treated, maybe not as a hate crime, but it would be treated in the national media as despicable and terrible.
00:16:47.000 But no, they have a moral license to do this because they're trying to take over the entire country.
00:16:53.000 And the trans social contagion is how they think they're going to do it.
00:16:59.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:01.000 Why do I tell you about Balance of Nature every single day?
00:17:03.000 It's really quite simple.
00:17:04.000 Balance of nature is real food.
00:17:06.000 It's real science and it's real nutrition.
00:17:08.000 I take it every day.
00:17:09.000 It's so easy.

00:18:02.000 An awful shooting has happened in Kentucky.
00:18:04.000 We don't want to rush to any judgment.
00:18:06.000 That's what the media does.
00:18:07.000 I had a clip go viral on the Second Amendment last week.
00:18:10.000 I'm happy to clarify that, but I do want to finish my point on the Riley Gaines situation.
00:18:17.000 We're getting lots of emails, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:18:21.000 Let's get to this tape here.
00:18:22.000 Riley Gaines joined Tucker Carlson to explain what happened while she was talking about women's sports, female sports.
00:18:30.000 And the head of the university calls the people the assailant, not the assailants, the people that, I guess, is that the technical term, people that committed assault, the assaulters, I guess you could say.
00:18:40.000 Brave.
00:18:41.000 Play cut one.
00:18:43.000 All of a sudden, after my speech, the room was stormed.
00:18:46.000 The lights were turned off, and I was rushed with no one there to escort me to a safe place.
00:18:52.000 So I was pushed into a classroom along that hallway where I was barricaded in for three hours.
00:18:59.000 Three hours?
00:19:01.000 Why didn't someone with the gun come and bring you to safety?
00:19:07.000 Because they were terrified.
00:19:08.000 They were scared to put their hands on these people because they know what these people are capable of.
00:19:13.000 These people yelled obscene, violent, vulgar things to both myself and the officers.
00:19:19.000 And the officers, I could tell, didn't feel comfortable putting them in a position that would mean they do their job, which is a really scary, chilling thought.
00:19:29.000 Well, yeah, I mean, obviously, what they're capable of is acts of violence with total impunity.
00:19:35.000 I mean, they're able to do whatever they want to do.
00:19:38.000 The entire society panders to the mentally deranged.
00:19:41.000 That's where we are at.
00:19:42.000 I hate to oversimplify, but we're at a place now where they could do whatever they want.
00:19:48.000 They get lucrative corporate contracts, they can commit acts of violence, they can say whatever they want.
00:19:53.000 For example, I mean, I can't tell you how many death threats we get from trans people, and the police kind of just shrug their shoulders and like, well, there's not much we can do, and we'll guess follow the process, which, of course, if a Christian conservative put death threats against a trans person, I'm sure that the police would get right into gear.
00:20:13.000 The rule of law is completely upside down, obviously.
00:20:17.000 And it's not even a matter of free speech at this point.
00:20:21.000 It's now a situation where we have to rearrange our speech, our planned campus speeches, what pronouns we use, because we're afraid of them.
00:20:40.000 And that's what I mean by tyrannical.
00:20:43.000 You see, the trans lobby, the alphabet mafia, they are willing to use power to force us to act outside of what we know to be correct and true.
00:21:01.000 And yes, you better believe at Turning Point USA, we're looking at it right now, a civil lawsuit for the assault, a civil lawsuit into all of it that happened there.
00:21:09.000 We'll see if we're successful or not, as we're also trying to look into a lawsuit for University of California Davis.
00:21:15.000 But who knows?
00:21:16.000 The courts are tricky and unpredictable.
00:21:20.000 I want to play another piece of tape here.
00:21:22.000 Tucker continues with Riley Gaines, calling the trans movement the most dangerous extremist movement in the United States.
00:21:28.000 Mind you, the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, they say it's all white supremacy, when in reality, it's trans delusion that is the real threat.
00:21:38.000 No one wants to say it out loud.
00:21:39.000 Play cut two.
00:21:43.000 This is the most dangerous extremist movement in the United States right now.
00:21:46.000 It's getting bigger, not smaller.
00:21:47.000 It's gaining steam, not losing it.
00:21:49.000 The White House has endorsed it.
00:21:51.000 I mean, what does this mean for you?
00:21:53.000 And I just can't say it again since I happen to know you.
00:21:55.000 You are an inherently moderate person who means harm to no one.
00:21:59.000 But are you worried about your safety going forward?
00:22:03.000 You know, I am worried about my safety.
00:22:05.000 I have to be now.
00:22:06.000 When we have people who are willing to do this, and we know why they're willing to do this, it's because they don't have reason, they don't have logic, they don't have science, they don't have common sense on their side.
00:22:16.000 That's on my side.
00:22:17.000 And so they protrude by violence, whether it's physical or verbal violence.
00:22:24.000 But what this means for me, this does not deter me.
00:22:27.000 This assures me that I am doing the right thing.
00:22:29.000 This will not silence me when they want me to be silenced.
00:22:32.000 It just means I need to speak louder.
00:22:35.000 The side that is trying to use force, censor, stifle, or silence the opposition means they are living in lies.
00:22:46.000 If you want to go give a speech anywhere about trans whatever, we'll come and peacefully ask questions.
00:22:54.000 But if you want to go give a speech about the harm that trans surgery could possibly show to children, they'll assault you.
00:23:02.000 They assaulted our reporter, our Turning Point USA Frontlines reporter.
00:23:06.000 If you go to a college campus to give a speech about trans, they'll try and kill you and your children.
00:23:10.000 Just look at Matt Walsh.
00:23:11.000 Matt Walsh has had to go into basically a form of like the witness protection program.
00:23:17.000 He's had to cancel all public events because of the amount of death threats going towards his family.
00:23:24.000 And this is a segue into, I want to talk about the Kentucky shooting, and it's just tragic that we have another mass shooting in our country.
00:23:32.000 I said something last week at Awakened Church in Salt Lake City that I stand 100% by, but it's being taken out of context by the media.
00:23:40.000 It's being clipped to try to make me seem as if I said something I did not say.
00:23:46.000 I'm going to play cut 17, then 18, where I said we need to talk honestly about the purpose of the Second Amendment.
00:23:52.000 Number one, the purpose of the Second Amendment is to defend ourselves against a potentially tyrannical government.
00:23:57.000 That needs to be repeated.
00:23:59.000 After COVID, I shouldn't have to make the argument that our government can become tyrannical.
00:24:05.000 They're putting in a social credit system.
00:24:06.000 They shut down churches and kept strip clubs, marijuana dispensaries open.
00:24:11.000 The Second Amendment protects all the other amendments.
00:24:14.000 That's a fact.
00:24:16.000 And there is a cost to any form of liberty.
00:24:21.000 That's a fact.
00:24:22.000 If you have cars, you get 50,000 auto fatalities every single year.
00:24:26.000 If you have planes, you're going to have some planes crash.
00:24:28.000 You have the Open Skies Act, you're going to have a bad pilot.
00:24:31.000 You have pools, unfortunately, you have kids wander into the pool and they die of suffocation.
00:24:36.000 Happens far too often in Arizona.
00:24:39.000 You have peanuts, people could be eating alone in their home and they could choke to death.
00:24:43.000 You get the point.
00:24:45.000 Liberty has some costs.
00:24:49.000 But yes, liberty is worth it.
00:24:54.000 And I say that because we live under this delusion that somehow we can get gun deaths down to zero.
00:25:03.000 So if you come from the premise that we're going to have an armed citizenry, you're going to have a cost.
00:25:10.000 And I'm not making light of the tragedies, obviously.
00:25:13.000 If you hear this video that's being taken wildly out of context by the media, they're making it seem as if I was making light of the tragedies, that I was somehow delighting in this.
00:25:21.000 That's garbage and it's nonsense.
00:25:23.000 I was making an honest take.
00:25:25.000 And by the way, I even went further and deeper into my speech where I said we should talk about reducing gun deaths.
00:25:32.000 Reduction is possible.
00:25:34.000 Elimination is not, period.
00:25:37.000 As long as you have an armed citizenry.
00:25:39.000 Now, why is that important?
00:25:40.000 Because the other side, they say, elect us, give us political power, and we'll get rid of all the gun deaths.
00:25:45.000 The only way you can do that is by confiscating the hundreds of millions of weapons that we have in our society.
00:25:50.000 We're not delighting or saying that, having joy that there are deaths related with firearms in this country.
00:25:56.000 We want to try to have the spirit of reduction.
00:25:59.000 The solution, of course, is hardening schools and increasing the amount of fathers in homes, having more people that are able to own guns to protect themselves.
00:26:08.000 But if you come, if you present your argument with the perspective, which you should, that an armed citizenry is moral and necessary, then you're not going to eliminate all gun deaths.
00:26:20.000 That is a fact.
00:26:21.000 Stop living in Narnia.
00:26:23.000 Republicans believe that criminals with guns should go to jail.
00:26:27.000 Democrats do not.
00:26:28.000 So who wants more gun violence?
00:26:29.000 I'll prove that in a second.
00:26:30.000 But let's just play the take that has gone viral and I'm going to defend it because the media is losing their mind.
00:26:34.000 It's going viral on Twitter.
00:26:36.000 Charlie Kirk says that it's worth it.
00:26:38.000 But what did I actually say that was worth it?
00:26:41.000 I said the deal, the prudent deal, is that if you acknowledge that you have liberty, you're going to have tragic costs with liberty, period.
00:26:50.000 You have cars, you have tens of thousands of people that die on the road.
00:26:55.000 But the cost of being able to have automobile transportation, not the cost or the benefit, is worth the cost.
00:27:02.000 Play cut 17, please.
00:27:04.000 Having an armed citizenry comes with a price.
00:27:07.000 And that is part of liberty.
00:27:11.000 Driving comes with a price.
00:27:13.000 50,000 people die on the road every year.
00:27:16.000 That's a price.
00:27:17.000 You get rid of driving, you'd have 50,000 less auto fatalities.
00:27:20.000 So we need to be very clear that you're not going to get gun deaths to zero.
00:27:25.000 It will not happen.
00:27:27.000 You can significantly reduce them through having more fathers in the home, by having more armed guards in front of schools.
00:27:34.000 You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death.
00:27:40.000 That's not something that I'm celebrating.
00:27:43.000 It's a fact of life.
00:27:44.000 You deal with a broken people.
00:27:46.000 You're going to have deranged.
00:27:47.000 You're going to have schizophrenic.
00:27:48.000 You're going to have people that are double personality.
00:27:51.000 And so therefore, if you acknowledge an armed citizenry is necessary, which of course it is, then you're going to have to live with the fact that some people are going to do some awful and cruel things.
00:28:00.000 So how do we significantly reduce it?
00:28:02.000 That's a conversation worth having.
00:28:03.000 But elimination is unrealistic.
00:28:07.000 And it preys on people's good intentions.
00:28:10.000 And it will never happen.
00:28:11.000 You know what will happen?
00:28:12.000 Only the government will have guns and the people will not, which will make us significantly less free.
00:28:18.000 I fully acknowledge this is a hard pill to swallow.
00:28:22.000 It's not something I find delight in.
00:28:24.000 It's not something like, yay, no, but it's real.
00:28:28.000 And again, I'm not running for political office, so I just say things that are true because people tap dance around it.
00:28:34.000 But the Democrats will say we got to get rid of all guns.
00:28:37.000 We have to reduce gun deaths to zero because if it was about gun deaths, then it actually wouldn't be quote unquote about assault rifles, made up term, made up distinction.
00:28:45.000 The vast majority of gun deaths in America are done with a pistol.
00:28:48.000 Now, they won't tell you this because in the articles where they're mocking me, Charlie Kirk says that gun deaths are worth it.
00:28:54.000 I never said that.
00:28:57.000 What I did say is that a sad reality, a harsh reality, a tragic reality to having an armed citizenry is people doing evil things.
00:29:08.000 Therefore, you must say what is the price?
00:29:11.000 What is the benefit?
00:29:12.000 What is the cost?
00:29:12.000 What is the benefit?
00:29:13.000 What is the cost?
00:29:14.000 Okay.
00:29:14.000 The benefit of having guns, unfortunately, is worth the tragic elements that come with reality.
00:29:24.000 If you're unwilling to say that, then you're living in an alternate universe.
00:29:29.000 So then the question should be about reduction.
00:29:31.000 I'm going to show you how we can do that in a second.
00:29:34.000 And by the way, if you look at the articles where they attack me, they say, well, there's over 40,000 people that die every single year with gun deaths.
00:29:42.000 We're the only country in the world that counts death by suicide with a gun as a gun death.
00:29:47.000 Now, I'm not trivializing that, but that's a technically different thing.
00:29:52.000 That is an act of self-harm that has nothing to do with the gun.
00:29:58.000 And they'll say, oh, well, it has everything to do with the gun.
00:30:01.000 That's not true.
00:30:02.000 They could use other means.
00:30:03.000 Okay.
00:30:04.000 So let me just finish my argument here.
00:30:07.000 This is where they really lost their mind.
00:30:09.000 Play cut 18.
00:30:11.000 But I think it's worth it.
00:30:14.000 I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.
00:30:24.000 That is a prudent deal.
00:30:26.000 It is rational.
00:30:28.000 Nobody talks like this.
00:30:29.000 They live in a complete alternate universe.
00:30:32.000 No one wants to say that.
00:30:34.000 By the way, let's just say that the amount of adverse reactions to the vaccine is just as low.
00:30:41.000 And then, so then I guess they would say, well, those deaths are worth it, right?
00:30:44.000 Aren't adverse events to the pharmaceutical drugs worth it?
00:30:49.000 Let's go to actually how to reduce these gun deaths.
00:30:52.000 Play cut 19.
00:30:55.000 Guns off the street.
00:30:56.000 What we got to do if we really want to see homicides go down is keep bad guys with guns in jail because when they're in jail, they can't be in community shooting people.
00:31:05.000 So when people talk about what we're going to do different or what we should do different, what we need to do different, that's the thing that we need to do different.
00:31:12.000 We need to keep violent people in jail.
00:31:14.000 Right now, the average homicide suspect, the average homicide suspect has been arrested 11 times prior to them committing a homicide.
00:31:23.000 That is a problem.
00:31:25.000 That is a problem.
00:31:27.000 The Democrats, they want to make you less free and less safe.
00:31:33.000 That's remarkable, isn't it?
00:31:35.000 It would be one thing if they were locking up these criminals for a long period of time and violent crime was falling.
00:31:39.000 I would still oppose any sort of gun confiscation measures.
00:31:42.000 But with crime going up and free bail and people that are being released, now's not the time to take the weapons away from the people that want to protect themselves.
00:31:55.000 Republicans believe that criminals with guns should go to jail.
00:31:58.000 Democrats don't.
00:31:58.000 So who actually wants more gun violence?
00:32:01.000 It's a very simple question.
00:32:03.000 So yes, to go back to the clip that has now gone viral and the left is losing their mind over it and every decent constitutionalist agrees that having liberty comes with a cost, but of course comes with the benefit too.
00:32:19.000 The benefit of driving has enriched my life and enriched your life.
00:32:22.000 The benefit of flying has enriched your life and my life.
00:32:25.000 It goes back to the Benjamin Franklin quote.
00:32:27.000 Those who are willing to trade liberty for security will have neither.
00:32:34.000 And by the way, the gun violence comes mainly from criminals being released onto the streets by Democrats in gang-related situations.
00:32:43.000 The mass shootings get a lot of headlines.
00:32:45.000 But urban gang, largely handgun deaths, by the way, is what drives gun violence in this country.
00:32:54.000 And it's centered really in like 10 or 15 cities, largely Democrat cities, some Republicans, but largely Democrat.
00:33:02.000 And the Soros district attorneys have no bail.
00:33:06.000 And so you have Alvin Bragg, who's using power to go after a former president.
00:33:10.000 And then we have to be lectured by the mainstream media that we have too many guns.
00:33:15.000 As I said at my show, isn't it interesting how there's no mass shootings at gun shows?
00:33:19.000 And if there was, it'd be neutralized in just a second.
00:33:23.000 It's not the technology that is doing it.
00:33:28.000 You can go to Israel.
00:33:30.000 In Israel, they have an armed citizenry.
00:33:32.000 They know how to use the guns.
00:33:34.000 That is very safe.
00:33:34.000 I feel very safe in Israel.
00:33:36.000 Every other street corner has a 19-year-old on a date with an AR-15 or an M-16 around his back.
00:33:45.000 It's just normalized.
00:33:46.000 Now, you might say, oh, Charlie, I don't want to live in that kind of militarized society.
00:33:49.000 I'm afraid we're already heading towards that.
00:33:52.000 And I would rather have citizens have that ability where it's decentralized than just the government have that ability where it's centralized.
00:34:00.000 So you must be clear about the purpose of the Second Amendment.
00:34:04.000 The purpose of the Second Amendment is there to protect all the other amendments.
00:34:08.000 That only the government having the guns is immoral and it's dangerous and it's wrong.
00:34:11.000 It's totalitarian and it's tyrannical.
00:34:15.000 Therefore, you have to be real.
00:34:19.000 And of course, our hearts go out to the victims in Kentucky for every one of these situations.
00:34:26.000 But we cannot allow them to emotionally hijack the narrative.
00:34:31.000 You must use reason when you look at these things.
00:34:33.000 And using reason, we're able to make the very simple judgment and argument.
00:34:42.000 A free society comes with a cost.
00:34:47.000 And that cost is worth it.
00:34:48.000 Liberty is worth it.
00:34:50.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
