00:01:40.000 And usually the kind of news cycle covers our events, and then maybe there's a little bit of news afterwards, and then it just kind of goes away.

00:01:49.000 So I remember I was running around the convention center in Tampa.
00:01:54.000 I was interviewing Senator Scott.
00:01:56.000 I was trying to introduce speakers.
00:01:57.000 I was trying to do media, trying to meet with some of our donors at Turning Point USA.
00:02:02.000 It was nonstop.
00:02:03.000 It's from 6 a.m. to midnight.
00:02:05.000 There is no rest at all.
00:02:07.000 And then I remember Dan on our team turned to me and said, hey, there's Nazis outside.
00:02:12.000 What are you talking about?
00:02:13.000 That's kind of weird.
00:02:14.000 I just ignored it.
00:02:15.000 It's like, that doesn't fit at all.
00:02:17.000 And meanwhile, they were all previous to that, there were about 100 left-wing protesters that were marching through the streets trying to protest our event.
00:02:27.000 And I was kind of confused.
00:02:30.000 I said, wait, I thought there were all these liberals and these left-wingers there.
00:02:32.000 What do you mean that there were Nazis outside?
00:02:34.000 It didn't make any sense.
00:02:35.000 And so then all of a sudden, pictures started to come through of five or six people with Nazi flags that were fully masked, by the way.
00:02:45.000 You couldn't tell their identity.
00:02:47.000 Interestingly, after all the liberals just disappeared, I've never seen liberals not confront Nazis before.
00:02:54.000 It was really weird.
00:02:54.000 I thought that's who they hate.
00:02:56.000 So as soon as all the liberals disappear, these five people with, it looks as if they bought Nazi flags on Amazon.com were waving them despicably, total scum, by the way.
00:03:10.000 Freshly folded, freshly minted central casting uniform, it looked like.
00:03:17.000 And so I immediately tell our security, get these terrible people off our grounds.
00:03:25.000 There's no place for them.
00:03:26.000 It's terrible.

00:03:29.000 Swastikas have nothing, have no place anywhere near decent and civil society or dialogue.
00:03:35.000 By the way, the flags literally had marks in them.
00:03:37.000 They look like they came straight out of a box.
00:03:40.000 It was so obvious that this was artificial.
00:03:44.000 And so there they are.
00:03:46.000 They're waving the flags.
00:03:47.000 Our security goes out to try to remove them.
00:03:49.000 It turns out that they are on public property, so we're not able to remove them.
00:03:54.000 They have their faces fully covered.
00:03:56.000 So then some of our bold attendees, after hearing one after the other, a speaker like DeSantis and Josh Hawley, go fight the enemy, go do all that, you know, go stand your ground.
00:04:06.000 Some of our bold students go out with phones and start to debate and like, get out of here.
00:04:10.000 Why do you believe this stuff?
00:04:12.000 And it seemed as if the Nazis lost their energy and they just kind of went away.
00:04:20.000 Now, mind you, what was so interesting about this whole thing is that the media wasn't trying to find out who these people were.
00:04:31.000 So they go to great lengths to try to dox moms and dads that show up to school board meetings across the country.
00:04:38.000 But they didn't go to great lengths to try and find out who actually was waving the SS flag outside of the Turning Point USA event.
00:04:47.000 Now, this is the most obvious thing is that the Nazis were protesting us.
00:04:52.000 They weren't supporting us.
00:04:54.000 They were protesting us.
00:04:56.000 Now, mind you, I think the whole thing was artificial, but even if you take the narrative at face value, they were angry at us.
00:05:02.000 And our students were trying to get rid of them and drive them out, saying there's no place for you here, you despicable scum.
00:05:11.000 And by the way, some of you might say, well, Charlie, what do you mean by Nazis?
00:05:14.000 I mean, they literally had swastika flags.
00:05:16.000 It's not like an exaggeration.
00:05:18.000 But I refuse to believe that they were actual real Nazis.
00:05:22.000 They looked as if they were playing as if they were actors.
00:05:25.000 Okay, do we have a piece of tape here we could play, Andrew?

00:05:46.000 By the way, the fact they have a DeSantis country flag next to the Nazi flag, it looks like it's all paid for by a Democrat super PAC.
00:05:52.000 Now, interestingly, we are entertaining the option at Turning Point USA to buy the cell phone data the same way they did in 2000 Mules and find out who these people are.

00:06:04.000 Have they gone to Democrat Party officials before?

00:06:08.000 We're not going to let this one go, actually.
00:06:10.000 We're going to be working with state and local authorities to the best of our ability to look at driver's license data.

00:06:20.000 And then the next day, DeSantis' opponent, Nikki Freed, comes out and holds a press conference immediately demanding DeSantis denounces this.

00:06:32.000 They leave.
00:06:33.000 The media immediately writes it up.
00:06:35.000 We denounce it.
00:06:36.000 The media then begrudgingly includes that in their articles.
00:06:39.000 And then the event continued.
00:06:41.000 We didn't allow it to deter us.
00:06:43.000 These are fringe element groups of which I don't believe are even legitimately who they said they were.
00:06:48.000 And I thought that was it.
00:06:49.000 Okay, end of story.
00:06:51.000 But it didn't stop there.
00:06:53.000 In fact, what was bizarre is that Tuesday after the Saturday confrontation is when this really started to bubble up.
00:07:05.000 And so here's what ended up happening.
00:07:08.000 The View, because in a desperate plea to try to become relevant again, decided to go out of their way to go smear and slander 5,000 Turning Point USA students.
00:07:20.000 So The View started with saying the following.
00:07:22.000 On Cut 47, Sarah Haynes from The View decried the Turning Point USA event because it exposed younger people to conservative politics.
00:07:32.000 That's how it started.
00:07:33.000 I don't like because it caters to younger Republicans.
00:07:36.000 You have a lot of hope that younger people won't choose parties.
00:07:40.000 Yeah, okay.
00:07:40.000 Play Cut 47.
00:07:42.000 Well, the turning point thing, I think, is I don't like it because it caters to younger Republicans, which, you know, you have a lot of hope that younger people, especially in politics, you see so many bipartisan groups that say, let's not pick a party, let's all come together.

00:07:57.000 And if you listen to a lot of the rhetoric, it's on point and on brand for them these days.
00:08:02.000 Yeah, let's just all come together.
00:08:04.000 I wonder if she says that about BLM or AOC.
00:08:07.000 No, no, they only don't like partisanship when Turning Point USA does.
00:08:10.000 By the way, we're not even a partisan organization.

00:08:14.000 We are anti-woke, pro-American, pro-liberty, pro-Constitution.
00:08:18.000 We are not pro-Republican.
00:08:19.000 We do have a political arm, Turning Point Action, that hosts the Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, but they won't be bothered with facts.

00:08:30.000 Do you know how much joy it gives me that Turning Point is an extended topic of conversation on the View?
00:08:37.000 It's a phenomenal accomplishment for our entire staff, for our team, for everyone involved at Turning Point USA.

00:08:47.000 Goes to show that we are the center of the conservative universe at Turning Point USA.

00:12:27.000 The conservative group, Turning Point USA, has condemned the group of neo-Nazis and said they have nothing to do with the organization.

00:12:40.000 You let them in and you knew what they were.
00:12:42.000 So you are complicit.

00:13:29.000 My point was more metaphorical: that you embrace them at your thing, I felt.
00:13:34.000 So I just, they were not in the building.

00:13:39.000 If the so-called Antifa, who are anti-fascists, that's what Antifa stands for, would go there and protest, then Antifa would get a bad reputation.

00:20:37.000 So on Monday, we talked about the fact that there were openly neo-Nazi demonstrators outside the Florida Student Action Summit of the Turning Point USA group.
00:20:45.000 We want to make clear that these demonstrators were gathered outside the event and that they were not invited or endorsed by Turning Point USA.
00:20:53.000 A Turning Point USA spokesman said the group, quote, 100% condemns those ideologies and said Turning Point USA security tried to remove the neo-Nazis from the area but could not because they were on public property.
00:21:05.000 Also, Turning Point USA wanted to clarify, wanted us to clarify that this was a Turning Point USA summit and not a Republican Party event.
