00:27:31.000 And so with getting spending under control, what in the current composition would be a I think we can get to, so we, you know, getting, we won't get clear back to pre-pandemic spending, but I think for this fiscal year, now part of what will be done through the reconciliation, part through the budget process, I think we can get the spending back down to about six and a half trillion dollars.
00:27:56.000 If we do that, then you see a clear path to over three years to get to a balanced budget.
00:28:00.000 So that's what I would like to get done.
00:28:02.000 Part of it will be through the reconciliation, and part of it will be through the budget process in September.

00:28:26.000 They put the money up to secure the border.
00:28:27.000 They put the money up to make sure we have a military that can defend our freedoms.
00:28:31.000 They made the Trump tax cuts permanent.
00:28:33.000 So I think they did a lot of good things.
00:28:35.000 They added work requirements under Medicaid.
00:28:40.000 So I think they've done a lot of good things in it.
00:28:43.000 But take Medicaid as an example.
00:28:47.000 I grew up in a poor family.
00:28:48.000 I watched my mom's face when she was told my little brother had a bone disease.
00:28:53.000 Then she couldn't find a doctor to take care of him.
00:28:56.000 And there was no Medicaid, right?
00:28:58.000 That could happen today because what these blue state governors are doing, they're spending all their money, all this federal Medicaid money.
00:29:07.000 They want to give free health care to illegal immigrants.
00:29:10.000 They want to give money to adults that don't have a chronic illness.

00:29:16.000 There's no doctors for these poor little kids like my little brother that didn't have a doctor back then.
