00:01:34.000 It is an action-packed news day already.
00:01:38.000 Welcome to the Left's Summer of Love, Part 2. It's been five years and they are getting the band back together.
00:01:45.000 Nothing gets purple-haired jihadis off the couch as quick as another riot.
00:01:52.000 Smell like a Wendy's burning?
00:01:53.000 We are going to be heading to the streets on Friday.
00:01:57.000 We started seeing more demonstrations after a sequence of ICE raids happened in Los Angeles.
00:02:04.000 Protesters clashed with police, so on Saturday, President Trump called out the National Guard.
00:02:09.000 Now, Gavin Newsom is suing over the deployment of California's National Guard, claiming it is illegal.
00:02:16.000 Federal law does generally call for the request of a governor or legislature to bring out the Guard, but there are exceptions when the president can do this on his own.
00:02:24.000 And a governor taking the side of the insurrectionists would certainly count as one of the exceptions.
00:02:30.000 At least 56 people have been arrested so far.
00:02:33.000 And if you haven't seen the images of this, please show it.
00:02:36.000 Los Angeles is under siege.
00:02:39.000 This is becoming a test of the Trump administration.
00:02:42.000 The left is saying that President Trump needs to back down and stop doing immigration raids because it antagonizes the population.
00:02:50.000 Nope.
00:02:51.000 We either have a country or we have no go zones.
00:02:53.000 We have laws or we do not.
00:02:55.000 We're either America or we are Mexico.
00:02:57.000 And let's be very honest.
00:02:59.000 Everyone's kind of, you know, tap dancing around this.
00:03:02.000 We're not Mexico for a reason.
00:03:04.000 Mexico, they want to be here.
00:03:07.000 That's why millions of them come to America.
00:03:09.000 If Mexico was so great, why did you leave it?
00:03:13.000 Mexico is not a great country.
00:03:15.000 It's actually kind of a crappy country.
00:03:17.000 It's not saying that there's not nice places, not saying that there's not nice people, but it's not America.
00:03:21.000 In most parts of Mexico, it's controlled by gangs or cartels, drug lords.
00:03:25.000 It is not a wealthy country.
00:03:27.000 It's not a rich country.
00:03:28.000 And when you import the third world, you get the third world.
00:03:31.000 It is a wildly corrupt place.
00:03:34.000 It is crummy.
00:03:35.000 It's not wonderful.
00:03:36.000 It's not like a beacon of hope.
00:03:38.000 No, America is for a reason.
00:03:40.000 It's not that Mexico doesn't have a ton of resources.
00:03:43.000 They have tons of resources.
00:03:45.000 Mexico is poor for many, many reasons.
00:03:48.000 And I think you all know exactly what I mean.
00:03:51.000 And in America, we've been very, very generous to the third world.
00:03:56.000 Come on in.
00:03:57.000 Come in Mexicans.
00:03:58.000 Come in Nicaraguans.
00:03:59.000 Come on Guatemalans.
00:04:01.000 And our generosity has now wildly been taken advantage of.
00:04:05.000 Understand, the Mexicans that come to America, they're not coming to America because they love the country.
00:04:11.000 Because they love our creed, or they love our traditions, or they love our ideas, or they love the promise of America.
00:04:17.000 They don't believe in e pluribus unum, or in God we trust, or liberty.
00:04:21.000 They are coming here for one reason.
00:04:23.000 It's because we are rich.
00:04:24.000 You see, we have a parasitic relationship with Mexico, and we have for quite some time.
00:04:29.000 Mexico sends in millions of people to our country, they work here and steal jobs from native-born Americans, and then they send the money back to America via remittances.
00:04:40.000 Mexico being wildly corrupt.
00:04:42.000 And look, of course, there's some nice places, some good beaches, some good food, some very sweet people surrounded by a sea of gangsters, thugs, and cartels.
00:04:50.000 If you loved the promise of America, you wouldn't wave a Mexican flag when American police tried to remove criminals.
00:04:57.000 This should be a wake-up call.
00:04:59.000 If you did not realize it before, guess what?
00:05:01.000 Pat Buchanan and President Trump We're right.
00:05:05.000 We are a conquered country that has been invaded by a force in certain areas.
00:05:11.000 The people that are waving Mexican flags as you are seeing widespread arson and bedlam and unrest and chaos, they're doing it for a reason, because they've never assimilated.
00:05:21.000 They believe in the deconstructionist, anti-colonialist La Raza belief.
00:05:26.000 That this is actually their land.
00:05:28.000 All those nauseating land acknowledgments.
00:05:30.000 Oh, we're sitting here on stolen land.
00:05:33.000 This is what it gets you.
00:05:34.000 It gets you widespread rebellion, distrust against law enforcement.
00:05:39.000 This is what invading armies do.
00:05:42.000 They wave their flags.
00:05:44.000 Los Angeles does not feel like a protest.
00:05:46.000 What's happening there?
00:05:47.000 It's an entire city that's declaring open rebellion to American sovereignty and authority.
00:05:53.000 It was bound to come to a head in a corrupt blue city, but it must be firmly stopped.
00:05:59.000 We must be unafraid to declare the Insurrection Act of 1807.
00:06:03.000 We will not allow 2020 to replicate itself.
00:06:06.000 The American people voted for mass deportations after Biden's open border, and if we do not succeed, our nation will be permanently populated by foreigners, whether legal or illegal, who hate us and who owe their true allegiance to another country.
00:06:19.000 A crummy country, might I add.
00:06:21.000 If someone loves another country more than America, they are here to simply leech off our economy, our culture, and our welfare.
00:06:28.000 That is civilizational suicide.
00:06:31.000 We are taking back our country, and that includes California.
00:06:34.000 Here's a little bit of a taste of what we saw yesterday.
00:06:37.000 This is 294.
00:06:40.000 This is them having fun while burning cars.
00:06:43.000 Really great people were importing into this country, isn't it?
00:06:46.000 Playcut 294.
00:06:47.000 Large group of people.
00:06:48.000 It could turn very volatile if you move law enforcement in there in the wrong way and turn what is just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn into a massive confrontation and altercation between officers and demonstrators.
00:07:04.000 And the altercation that they're talking about, having fun watching cars burning, yeah, that's what normal, civilized, well-adjusted members of the West do, right?
00:07:14.000 I know that in most small towns in America, in Lubbock, Texas, and in Stillwater, Oklahoma, a bunch of Protestants go out into the street after church and they start burning cars.
00:07:25.000 Yeah, that's what we all do for fun.
00:07:27.000 Give me a breath.
00:07:29.000 And give me a break.
00:07:31.000 What you are seeing here is a mass attempt at insurrection against, which will be the largest deportation effort in history.
00:07:37.000 And let me say this, and I will build this out later.
00:07:40.000 My goodness, this is why we need the big, beautiful bill.
00:07:43.000 I agree it doesn't cut as much spending as we'd like.
00:07:45.000 We have a three-seat majority, but I'll tell you what.
00:07:46.000 We're going to expand ICE, and the deportations are going to go up.
00:07:49.000 We will find you, we'll remove you, and we will send you back to Mexico.
00:07:54.000 We haven't even talked about reforming our legal system.
00:07:56.000 We need a shutoff of all immigration in this country.
00:07:58.000 Period.
00:07:59.000 End of story.
00:08:00.000 Moratorium.
00:08:00.000 This right here should be a five-alarm fire.
00:08:03.000 We knew that this was here, but my goodness, it's going to keep on bubbling up.
00:08:07.000 It's going to keep on continuing.
00:08:09.000 Because what we have here is not just the bandits of the Democrat Party, but then you have Gavin Newsom and you have Karen Bass defending what is happening in the streets.
00:08:20.000 You have Gavin Newsom suing Donald Trump because he is so in favor of this.
00:08:25.000 What do you see all those different foreign flags?
00:08:27.000 You have the Black Liberation flag.
00:08:28.000 I don't know what that is.
00:08:29.000 Is that the Argentinian flag?
00:08:31.000 Great.
00:08:31.000 And then you have the Palestinian flag.
00:08:33.000 Understand there is intersectionality here.
00:08:36.000 If you want to properly understand the left, you must understand intersectionality.
00:08:40.000 What do the Palestinian pro-Hamas people have to do with the white liberal purple-haired jihadis and then also with the La Raza folks with BLM?
00:08:48.000 They all hate Christendom.
00:08:50.000 They hate Western civilization.
00:08:52.000 They hate what we have built.
00:08:55.000 This is a global movement of freaks and misantropes.
00:09:00.000 Anti-Israel, anti-West, anti-America, anti-capitalism, anti-law, anti-order, and it all comes together.
00:09:07.000 The same people that are doing the Gaza encampments are the same people that are now waving the La Raza Mexican flag.
00:09:14.000 It is order versus anarchy.
00:09:16.000 It is chaos versus structure.
00:09:19.000 It is against everything that we believe in in the West.
00:09:22.000 Everything.
00:09:23.000 And we're not going to put up with it.
00:09:24.000 I think President Trump should fully deploy the military in the streets.
00:09:27.000 Take back the streets of L.A. Do it and do it fast.
00:09:31.000 We're not going to allow Floydapalooza happen again.
00:09:34.000 Civilization's on the line.
00:09:35.000 Because you know what happened in 2020?
00:09:36.000 So many black and Hispanic people got unnecessarily killed because of the rise in crime.
00:09:42.000 If this mob broke into your home and killed your family, they won't defend it as a cry of protest.
00:09:49.000 This is the great replacement theory.
00:09:51.000 Remember we talked about they want to replace white Anglo-Saxon Christian Protestants with Mexican Nicaraguans?
00:09:58.000 With El Salvadorians, you have seen the result of the Great Replacement.
00:10:02.000 In California, one in four people have been born outside the U.S. Let me say that again.
00:10:06.000 One in four people in California have been born outside the U.S. You can see the white population collapse in L.A. That's intentional.
00:10:14.000 They've wanted it that way.
00:10:16.000 These are not protests.
00:10:18.000 These are riots.
00:10:19.000 And the leaders, Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom, which I'll talk about more, are being held hostage by these insurgents.
00:10:25.000 We want our country back.
00:10:27.000 And we have a big heart.
00:10:29.000 We have had an open, you know, oh yes, we're going to take care of everybody.
00:10:32.000 But as it says in the Bible, we're going to build the wall like it says in the book of Nehemiah.
00:10:36.000 And we're going to build it strong and we're going to build it high.
00:10:37.000 And if you do not assimilate and if you are an agent of disorder, of chaos and confusion, adios, hasta la vista, baby.
00:10:45.000 We will find you and your family and we will return you.
00:10:49.000 All 20, 25, 30 million.
00:10:51.000 Every single one of you are going back.
00:10:52.000 No exceptions.
00:10:53.000 I don't care if you're some valedictorian of some school.
00:10:56.000 It doesn't matter.
00:10:57.000 We're not going to put up with this.
00:10:58.000 Either we have laws or we don't.
00:10:59.000 And if you want to be governed by compassion and emotions and feeling, well, then that will be the death of the rule of the law in the West.
00:11:06.000 Come here, legally, assimilate, or leave, or we'll help facilitate it.
00:11:14.000 Ask 10 people to define the word capitalism.
00:11:16.000 How many different responses do you think you'll get?
00:11:18.000 This is a word that comes up all the time, but does anyone know what it really means?
00:11:23.000 Do you?
00:11:24.000 Hillsdale College offers more than 40 free online courses.
00:11:27.000 That's right, free online courses on subjects like the Book of Genesis, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, the history of the ancient Christian church.
00:11:35.000 It's hard for me to even say which is my personal favorite.
00:11:37.000 You guys have got to take these online courses.
00:11:40.000 They've recently launched a new course, Understanding Capitalism, that I've been watching.
00:11:44.000 In seven lectures, you'll learn about the role of profit and loss, how human nature plays a part in our economic system, why capitalism depends on private property rights, the rule of law, and above all, freedom, and why capitalism is ultimately a system that encourages morality rather than undermines.
00:12:00.000 Right now, go to charlieforhillsdale.com to enroll.
00:12:03.000 There's no cost, and it's easy to get started.

00:12:08.000 C-H-A-R-L-I-E for Hillsdale.com.
00:12:13.000 Of all the world leaders, I think I detest the president of Mexico the most.
00:12:19.000 You know, we talk about the Chinese Communist Party, we talk about Russia, but honestly, do you want to hear a provocative statement?
00:12:27.000 This woman is likely causing more havoc in America than Vladimir Putin ever has in the mainland of America.
00:12:34.000 Oh yeah, he had some Russian troll farms in Macedonia.
00:12:38.000 I'm sorry, this woman, the president of Mexico, Is talking about leading an uprising in the interior of America, and she's got a lot to work with because she has a lot of sleeper cells here.
00:12:50.000 Has Mexico and the drug cartels declared war on America?
00:12:53.000 It's a good question.
00:12:55.000 We're so focused about Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia.
00:12:59.000 This is 252.
00:13:00.000 This is the president of Mexico.
00:13:02.000 Do you know what she's against?
00:13:04.000 She's against the big, beautiful bill.
00:13:07.000 If Ms. Steinbaum is against the big, beautiful bill, Count me as an enthusiastic supporter.
00:13:14.000 Because she knows the current composition of the American-Mexico economic relationship is parasitic in nature.
00:13:23.000 Play cut 252.
00:13:24.000 If needed, we will definitely mobilize because we absolutely cannot accept any new taxes on remittances sent by our hardworking folks in the U.S. to their families back home in Mexico.
00:13:35.000 So taxing remittances is way overdue.
00:13:39.000 Far overdue, because remittances are the money payment that makes the cartel's financial model make sense.
00:13:48.000 So the cartel will smuggle a family up from Mexico to come into America, and then they have to send a portion of the money to the cartels and a portion of the money to a foreign power.
00:13:59.000 This is a president of a foreign power.
00:14:03.000 She's not a governor of a state.
00:14:05.000 She's the president of Mexico.
00:14:07.000 The nerve of this person, of this woman.
00:14:11.000 I think we need a 30% tax on remittances.
00:14:13.000 Just crush it.
00:14:15.000 Go super hard, 30%.
00:14:16.000 She is meddling in our own country affairs.
00:14:21.000 Meanwhile, here's what I will tell you.
00:14:23.000 While D.C. is so worried about Vladimir Putin, he's the worst person ever.
00:14:28.000 I guarantee you somebody in your neighborhood has died from a fentanyl overdose sourced from fentanyl from Mexico.
00:14:34.000 I guarantee you somebody in your local area has had their house broken into because of the open borders brought to you by Steinbaum.
00:14:42.000 You have to wonder, all this uprising that we are seeing, is the Mexican government behind this?
00:14:48.000 Could be.
00:14:49.000 Is the Mexican government pulling any strings?
00:14:52.000 They've got plenty of material to work with.
00:14:55.000 One in four people in California were not born there.
00:14:58.000 It's bad enough to have Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom being such problems.
00:15:03.000 But sadly for us, there are problems.
00:15:05.000 Maybe is it time to start taking out cartels?
00:15:07.000 Is it time to start drone striking cartels?
00:15:10.000 Is it time to start finding these meth and fentanyl facilities?
00:15:13.000 And just saying, alright, thanks Steinbaum, thanks for playing.
00:15:16.000 Boom!
00:15:16.000 F-35, right on a cartel-run drug operation.
00:15:21.000 I don't know, I'm just asking.
00:15:23.000 She really wants this confrontation?
00:15:25.000 Because the cartels in Mexico have done infinitely more harm.
00:15:30.000 To America than any of the foreign powers that we're supposed to care about.
00:15:34.000 Now, I'm not looping Al-Qaeda into that, but Iraq, why did we invade Iraq when Mexico is poisoning our own people?
00:15:42.000 It's because our leaders don't actually care about the well-being of America.
00:15:45.000 They care about the war machine.
00:15:49.000 If Russia deserves $200 billion for us to fight them, how much money should we use to fight the cartels?
00:15:57.000 We've spent $200 billion of your money and my money going into deficit spending.
00:16:03.000 And yet they are declaring insurrection against us.
00:16:06.000 They're cheering it on and they're waving Mexican flags.
00:16:09.000 They're waving foreign flags on U.S. soil.
00:16:13.000 They're bragging and taunting you that they've taken over the American homeland.
00:16:18.000 I think some missile strikes possibly on some cartel members and their homes might be appropriate.
00:16:26.000 Oh, they don't like that kind of chatter?
00:16:27.000 Because you guys are a conquered, crummy country.
00:16:29.000 That's why.
00:16:31.000 You guys are going after ICE.
00:16:33.000 You're going after kill cops.
00:16:34.000 You're saying F ICE and you're saying going after and kill America.
00:16:37.000 I'm telling you, you are going to wake up middle America in a way that Mexico has never seen.
00:16:44.000 I'm going to warn you, Ms. Steinbaum, you do not want middle America on war footing because there is a sleeping giant in this country that is ready to roar back against the cartels of the Mexican government.
00:16:56.000 So you should sit this one out.
00:16:59.000 We are pissed.
00:17:00.000 You got no cards.

00:19:24.000 Joining us now is Senator Rick Scott.
00:19:27.000 Senator, thank you for the time.
00:19:28.000 Senator, what is your take on the bedlam, the unrest, the chaos, the disorder, and honestly, some could call it an insurrection on the streets of Los Angeles.
00:19:37.000 Senator.
00:19:38.000 Thank you for speaking up.
00:19:40.000 This is exactly what's happened when you just completely open your borders and let anybody in you want, and then these people come in and think they own our country.
00:19:48.000 This is our country.
00:19:51.000 We've allowed you to come into our country.
00:19:54.000 Now, some people came in here illegally, and guess what?
00:19:58.000 I mean, you can't defend it.
00:20:01.000 You cannot defend it.
00:20:02.000 And you look at what's going on in L.A. I'm glad that President Trump has the guts to call up the National Guard.
00:20:07.000 I'm disappointed that Newsom and Bass don't have the guts to go protect their citizens.
00:20:12.000 Think about this.
00:20:13.000 What is their first job?
00:20:14.000 Protect the citizens of L.A. Protect the citizens of L.A. Protect the citizens of California.
00:20:19.000 But no, it's like they think their job is to protect people that are here illegally.
00:20:24.000 It's just like Medicaid.
00:20:26.000 They think their job is not to take care of poor kids.
00:20:29.000 They're taking free health care for illegals.
00:20:32.000 I mean, they have lost sight of their job to take care of American citizens.
00:20:37.000 That's why President Trump is doing the right thing.
00:20:39.000 And by the way, if you don't like our country, go home.
00:20:44.000 I like our country.
00:20:46.000 You can self-deport and you could bring, in fact, correct me if I'm wrong, President Trump is offering you $1,000 if you leave America.
00:20:54.000 We'll help you leave the country.
00:20:56.000 Go back to Mexico if you like it so much.
00:20:58.000 Right, and the president of Mexico is saying that she's going to make sure there's protests here?
00:21:04.000 Think about this.
00:21:05.000 She's worried about a remittance tax.
00:21:07.000 Why isn't she worried about the 78,000 Americans that died of fentanyl overdose based on her cartels that she won't crack down on and crack down on all the illegals coming across our border and all the drugs coming across our border?
00:21:18.000 Why doesn't she care about that?
00:21:20.000 So, Senator, part of this is the remittance taxes, and it's very much involved in this big, beautiful bill.
00:21:29.000 Firstly, what is your stance on the remittance tax, and would you support increasing it based on a foreign leader that is trying to sow domestic chaos here in America?
00:21:39.000 Charlie, I've never been for a tax increase.
00:21:41.000 This might be my first one.
00:21:42.000 Good answer.
00:21:44.000 Let's have a gigantic tax increase, and maybe that will give her attention to stop the drugs from coming across our border and say, hey, look, if you're in America, maybe you should live the way they live.
00:21:58.000 with less violence, worried about our kids, have a great education, have great capitalism.
00:22:04.000 But so it will be my first proposed Senator, so I want to just stay on this one more time, and then I want to dive deeper into the big, beautiful bill.
00:22:14.000 But let's play cut 308.
00:22:15.000 This is from Harry Enten, who has been a data guy on CNN.
00:22:19.000 He says President Trump's approval rating on immigration is going up.
00:22:23.000 Play cut 308.
00:22:24.000 Closer to trust more in immigration.
00:22:26.000 Democrats versus Republicans.
00:22:27.000 Got three different polls for you across the board.
00:22:30.000 They all tell the same story.
00:22:33.000 Republicans lead on the issue of immigration.
00:22:35.000 You see it here, CBS plus six.
00:22:37.000 You see it here, CNN plus six.
00:22:39.000 You see it here, Ipsos, even bigger.
00:22:41.000 Plus 19. No matter what poll you look at, no matter which way you cut it, the American public is with the Republicans.
00:22:48.000 The American public is with Donald Trump.
00:22:50.000 and to a much greater extent than they were in term number one.
00:22:53.000 And it's not just on the broad issue of immigration, it's on the specifics as well, in which the American public is with Donald Trump and the Republicans, and that is why Donald Trump is eager to take Well, first off, legal immigration is what built this country.
00:23:13.000 We believe in that.
00:23:14.000 What we don't believe in is what the Biden and Democrats believe in.
00:23:18.000 Let anybody or their brother come in here and destroy our communities.
00:23:23.000 Bring in drugs, kill our kids, bring in terrorists that want to destroy our country, bring in criminals that want to rape and murder our citizens.
00:23:32.000 We're sort of against that.
00:23:34.000 So the American public is against that.
00:23:36.000 I can't understand why one Democrat doesn't understand that we want a secure border.
00:23:42.000 We want to know who's coming.
00:23:43.000 We want to know that they want to live our dream.
00:23:46.000 So why don't we have an immigration system that works that way?
00:23:49.000 Because the Democrats don't want to-- they don't believe in that.
00:23:52.000 So, you know, it's too bad now.
00:23:54.000 What they've done is they've tainted all immigration.
00:23:58.000 And what the Democrats and Biden have done, they've tainted all immigration.
00:24:01.000 So we've got to get control of this, secure the border.
00:24:04.000 I think what President Trump is doing by so many of these countries, he's not letting people come in because you can't vet them.
00:24:10.000 By the way, if you can't vet somebody, you don't let them into your house.
00:24:14.000 You don't say, "Oh yeah, just come on in.
00:24:17.000 I don't know who you are.
00:24:19.000 Enjoy my food.
00:24:22.000 I don't worry about the safety of my family." No!
00:24:26.000 What President Trump is doing the right things.
00:24:27.000 That's what Americans want.
00:24:29.000 They want a president that gives a damn about them rather than with the Democrats because we know they don't give a damn about any of us.
00:24:35.000 So let's talk about the Big Beautiful Bill.
00:24:37.000 And so this is currently in the U.S. Senate's hands.
00:24:41.000 You've had some concerns and some feedback.
00:24:44.000 Where are you now currently on the Big Beautiful Bill?
00:24:46.000 And where does it stand?
00:24:48.000 Well, I continue to be very optimistic that we're going to get it done.
00:24:52.000 I hope we can get it done before the Fourth of July.
00:24:55.000 We've got to get the Trump agenda done.
00:24:57.000 We have to do that.
00:24:58.000 Now, that includes securing the border.
00:25:00.000 That includes plus up the military.
00:25:01.000 That includes getting and making sure all the Trump tax cuts are permanent.
00:25:05.000 If not, the Democrats want this gigantic tax increase on Americans, which I can't imagine.
00:25:10.000 It's over $4 trillion.
00:25:11.000 But we've got to get fiscal sanity.
00:25:14.000 We are never going to get inflation under control if we don't start living within our means.
00:25:20.000 We've had a 53% increase in spending in the last five years.
00:25:24.000 This is insane.
00:25:26.000 We have got to bring fiscal sanity here when we can.
00:25:29.000 Let me just give you some numbers.
00:25:31.000 Medicaid, okay?
00:25:32.000 We have 4 million more people living in Florida than New York.
00:25:35.000 But out of the federal government, they get $20 billion more for their Medicaid program, so guess what?
00:25:41.000 They can give free health care to immigrants.
00:25:44.000 California, they're 65% bigger than us, but they get three times as much money for the federal government for their Medicaid program.
00:25:52.000 So guess what?
00:25:52.000 They can give free health care to illegal immigrants.
00:25:55.000 That's wrong.
00:25:56.000 We've got to stop.
00:25:57.000 We've got to stop.
00:25:59.000 We've got to treat.
00:25:59.000 Red states, barely.
00:26:00.000 So I'm going to keep fighting for this.
00:26:02.000 I believe the right thing is going to happen.
00:26:04.000 So, Senator, let's then ask the more direct question.
00:26:09.000 Roll call.
00:26:10.000 Do you think those changes will happen?
00:26:15.000 And how are your colleagues thinking?
00:26:17.000 Rand Paul says he's a hard no if there's a debt ceiling increase, which, by the way, I was against the debt ceiling increase until I thought Stephen Miller made a really good argument, which is that we have an opportunity to do a debt ceiling increase without being held hostage by Chuck Schumer, where we usually have to concede other nonsense.
00:26:34.000 I thought that was the best argument I've heard.
00:26:36.000 Do you resonate with that argument, Senator?
00:26:39.000 Well, first off, we are going to raise the debt ceiling.
00:26:42.000 I think in Rand's case, what he wants to do is do it for a year and then do it another year so we can make sure we get spending reductions.
00:26:51.000 We've got to figure out how to get the spending reductions.
00:26:54.000 So, look, we're going to raise the debt ceiling.
00:26:57.000 I believe we're going to get the spending reductions.
00:26:59.000 I believe we're going to see a path, short-term path to fiscal sanity.
00:27:03.000 But it's going to take all of us working hard.
00:27:05.000 It's doing what Ron Johnson said all along.
00:27:07.000 We've got to do what I did as governor.
00:27:09.000 I balance the budget by going through line by line through the budget and saying that's nice to have, but we're not doing that.
00:27:14.000 That's waste.
00:27:15.000 We're for sure not doing that.
00:27:16.000 So we're going to say this is what the American public is going to give us in revenues.
00:27:20.000 This is what we're going to spend.
00:27:21.000 We've got a spending problem.
00:27:23.000 We don't have a revenue problem.
00:27:24.000 I know President Trump is going to rebuild this economy.
00:27:26.000 We're going to see our revenues go up.
00:27:28.000 So as part of that, we have to get our spending under control.
00:27:31.000 And so with getting spending under control, what in the current composition would be a I think we can get to, so we, you know, getting, we won't get clear back to pre-pandemic spending, but I think for this fiscal year, now part of what will be done through the reconciliation, part through the budget process, I think we can get the spending back down to about six and a half trillion dollars.
00:27:56.000 If we do that, then you see a clear path to over three years to get to a balanced budget.
00:28:00.000 So that's what I would like to get done.
00:28:02.000 Part of it will be through the reconciliation, and part of it will be through the budget process in September.
00:28:07.000 And so then, and I'm glad to hear that.
00:28:10.000 And I always want to make sure we're clear.
00:28:13.000 There are some phenomenal wins within the big, beautiful bill that I know you agree with.
00:28:18.000 Can you talk about that, border security, ICE increasing, so on and so forth?
00:28:22.000 If you think about what the House did.
00:28:24.000 I mean, they did the right thing.
00:28:26.000 They put the money up to secure the border.
00:28:27.000 They put the money up to make sure we have a military that can defend our freedoms.
00:28:31.000 They made the Trump tax cuts permanent.
00:28:33.000 So I think they did a lot of good things.
00:28:35.000 They added work requirements under Medicaid.
00:28:40.000 So I think they've done a lot of good things in it.
00:28:43.000 But take Medicaid as an example.
00:28:47.000 I grew up in a poor family.
00:28:48.000 I watched my mom's face when she was told my little brother had a bone disease.
00:28:53.000 Then she couldn't find a doctor to take care of him.
00:28:56.000 And there was no Medicaid, right?
00:28:58.000 That could happen today because what these blue state governors are doing, they're spending all their money, all this federal Medicaid money.
00:29:07.000 They want to give free health care to illegal immigrants.
00:29:10.000 They want to give money to adults that don't have a chronic illness.
00:29:14.000 And guess what?
00:29:15.000 There's no money.
00:29:16.000 There's no doctors for these poor little kids like my little brother that didn't have a doctor back then.
00:29:21.000 So we've got to say, come on, what are we doing?
00:29:24.000 How do we get people healthy?
00:29:25.000 How do we get people back to work?
00:29:26.000 How do we make sure we have a safety net that really works?
00:29:29.000 And that's what I'm focused on, and a lot of us are in the Senate.
00:29:31.000 We're going to get there.
00:29:33.000 What, in closing, are the marching orders to the audience to get this bill passed?
00:29:36.000 Because we need to have a victory on this bill.
00:29:39.000 I think your message is this.
00:29:41.000 We've got to get a bill done.
00:29:42.000 And we've got to get fiscal sanity.
00:29:43.000 We have to balance the budget.
00:29:44.000 I think those are the two messages.
00:29:46.000 It's incumbent upon us to figure out how to bring everybody together to get that done.
00:29:50.000 I actually believe we're going to get that done.
00:29:52.000 And if we do, and so if we reform some of these Medicaid items, are you willing to be in a direction towards a yes?
00:29:59.000 Oh, absolutely.
00:30:00.000 And I believe we're going to get there.
00:30:02.000 Phenomenal.
00:30:02.000 Senator, thank you for your time as always.
00:30:03.000 Great work.
00:30:04.000 Thank you so much.
00:30:05.000 Good job in Oxford.
00:30:07.000 Thank you.
00:30:07.000 It means a lot.
00:30:10.000 TikTok has helped U.S. businesses contribute over $24 billion for the U.S. economy.
00:30:16.000 And we go so viral on TikTok, we get billions and billions of views.
00:30:20.000 You see, that's real money flowing into small businesses, like AZTacoKing, who went viral on TikTok and hit $1.3 million in sales in their first year.
00:30:29.000 Now they're hiring more staff to keep up.
00:30:31.000 Or Bluff Cakes, who started as a home baking side hustle and became a national cookie brand.
00:30:36.000 Or the She Mechanic, whose business tripled in just one year with help from TikTok.
00:30:42.000 Now she's in a bigger space with a bigger team.
00:30:44.000 TikTok is helping small businesses thrive, and that's adding up to more jobs and more growth.
00:30:49.000 And over $24 billion flowing into the U.S. economy.
00:30:52.000 Our most viral platform is TikTok, and by far.
00:30:56.000 Learn more about TikTok's contribution to the U.S. economy at TikTokEconomicImpact.com.
00:31:01.000 We are winning the next generation at Turning Point USA and on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:31:05.000 Large in part thanks to us getting the message out at TikTok.
00:31:08.000 Go to TikTokEconomicImpact.com.
00:31:13.000 I'm going to speak truth to power here.
00:31:15.000 L.A. should lose the Olympics.
00:31:17.000 I've said it before and I'll say it again.
00:31:19.000 Can't manage fires when it matters most, and you can't keep reservoirs full of water.
00:31:22.000 What happens if all of a sudden...
00:31:27.000 You have shown Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom have completely failed the test.
00:31:33.000 By the way, let alone the World Cup.
00:31:35.000 The World Cup is coming to America next summer.
00:31:39.000 And one of the big host sites will be in Los Angeles.
00:31:42.000 Is this what we want to have on full display?
00:31:44.000 From the riots, from the anger, to the backlash?
00:31:48.000 And I've said this, and I'll say it again.
00:31:51.000 I said this to Stephen Miller, who's a great friend.
00:31:53.000 I'll say it publicly.
00:31:54.000 We need to increase the amount of raids today.
00:31:56.000 You guys go and demonstrate in the streets.
00:31:59.000 The raids just doubled.
00:32:01.000 We are going to get to 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 a day.
00:32:05.000 This is a test of the will, and we will find every single one of you.
00:32:10.000 In fact, this makes me only want to do it even more.
00:32:13.000 We do not pander to the angry outbursts of foreign criminals.
00:32:20.000 Karen Bass, though.
00:32:20.000 This is Karen Bass, who promises to protect criminals in her city.
00:32:25.000 Play cut 216.
00:32:34.000 We are a city of immigrants, and this impacts hundreds of thousands of Angelenos.
00:32:40.000 Oh, I think it might impact even more.
00:32:42.000 And they're all going to go.
00:32:45.000 Block by block, city by city.
00:32:47.000 And by the way, if this keeps on increasing, if we're going to have to mobilize the Marines in many ways, Then so be it.
00:32:53.000 This is a civilizational test.
00:32:56.000 Tensions will flare out, and all these thugs understand.
00:33:00.000 They don't understand reason.
00:33:01.000 They're not going to be persuaded.
00:33:03.000 There is no common ground with the Mexican flag-waving guy.
00:33:09.000 All they understand is brute force.
00:33:12.000 Who has a bigger weapon?
00:33:16.000 They got all the different flags, the black liberation flag, the Palestinian flag.
00:33:22.000 This is Gavin Newsom, who is now suing President Donald Trump, and he's saying that these people are just trying to pay their taxes.
00:33:32.000 I mean, come on.
00:33:33.000 They're burning the cars.
00:33:34.000 These are good people.
00:33:36.000 Throwing rocks at police vehicles.
00:33:38.000 You know that they were throwing rocks at vehicles on the highway?
00:33:41.000 They shut down a highway.
00:33:42.000 I mean, come on.
00:33:43.000 I mean, these are the best that we have to offer.
00:33:45.000 It's the American dream.
00:33:46.000 It's funny.
00:33:47.000 The only American flags that I saw were the ones that they were burning.
00:33:54.000 The only American flag, the only old glory I saw, were the ones that they were torching.
00:34:00.000 Playcut 261.
00:34:01.000 Put your hands off these poor people.
00:34:03.000 They're just trying to live their lives, man.
00:34:06.000 Trying to live their lives, paying their taxes.
00:34:07.000 Been here 10 years.
00:34:09.000 The fear, the horror.
00:34:11.000 The hell is this guy?
00:34:13.000 Come after me.
00:34:13.000 Arrest me.
00:34:14.000 Let's just get it over with.
00:34:15.000 Tough guy.
00:34:16.000 You know, I don't.
00:34:19.000 But I care about my community.
00:34:20.000 I care about this community.
00:34:22.000 The hell are they doing?
00:34:24.000 These guys need to grow up.
00:34:25.000 They need to stop.
00:34:27.000 And we need to push back.
00:34:28.000 And I'm sorry to be so clear, but that kind of is exhausting.
00:34:32.000 So, Tom, arrest me.
00:34:34.000 Let's go.
00:34:35.000 You know, after we significantly deteriorated his 2020 ambitions because he said that it's unfair.
00:34:42.000 That biological pervert men compete in female sports.
00:34:45.000 He's trying to do his big comeback.
00:34:46.000 And how do you make yourself popular in the Democrat Party?
00:34:50.000 How do you do a political reset?
00:34:52.000 Do you go raise a bunch of money?
00:34:54.000 Do you go write a book?
00:34:55.000 Do you go on a speaking tour?
00:34:57.000 No, the easiest way for you to make yourself into a progressive darling is let your city burn.
00:35:05.000 The easiest way to make yourself appealing to Democrats is the smell of arson in the morning.
00:35:12.000 As Glenn Waltz said, remember, that's why they picked Tim Waltz.
00:35:15.000 He did a wonderful job letting Minnesota burn to a crisp.
00:35:19.000 And that is Gavin Newsom.
00:35:20.000 He's trying to resurrect his political career, not by anything he's done, but what he fails to do.
00:35:25.000 The second time he's allowed Los Angeles burn to the ground.
00:35:28.000 Allow foreigners to run rampant, rioting and burning your city, sucking off the teat of the U.S. taxpayer.
00:35:34.000 And smiling the whole way.
00:35:36.000 That's how you make yourself a popular Democrat.
00:35:38.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
