Jack and Jack are joined by JD Vance, the White House Chief of Staff, to discuss the courage it takes to sit in front of thousands of students at a college and answer their questions. The guys also discuss the impact that JD has had on his life and the legacy he is leaving behind.
00:00:56.000The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:08.000All right, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:10.000This is Andrew Colvitt, executive producer of this fine show.
00:01:59.000So, anyways, we are uh honored to be with you guys.
00:02:02.000We I I just have to say, we've gotten such a tremendous outpouring of just feedback from our show yesterday that we did from the White House.
00:02:10.000Uh, truly, truly uh grateful for all the the nice notes and the kind uh things you guys have said.
00:02:30.000We announced that JD, if you guys want to throw this uh graphic up, JD is going to be speaking on campus with Erica Kirk on October 29th at Ole Miss, there in Oxford, Mississippi.
00:02:56.000But the the courage that it takes, as you know, essentially the second most powerful man in the world to sit in front of students at a college.
00:03:05.000There's gonna be like 10,000 people there taking questions for probably like an hour, let's just say.
00:03:12.000But he's willing to just do that and take questions.
00:03:24.000It was all planned, and they know which questions are coming.
00:03:26.000This is gonna be completely raw, and he's willing to take hard questions from both the left and the right.
00:03:29.000So take that much time out of his schedule, and with the logistics, with the security, with the pre-planning that has to go in.
00:03:36.000I mean, that it's just a testament to how much Charlie meant to JD and how big of an impact that Charlie's legacy had, not on only JD as a person, but really on JD's polit uh uh politics.
00:03:52.000And JD really has told the story that uh that Charlie was the one that really backed him, encouraged him when he was first running for Senate, and then eventually uh where he is now in the vice presidency.
00:04:05.000He would not be where he is today as the sitting vice president of the United States because he probably wouldn't have been senator, and then he probably wouldn't have had so much backing and support from a lot of people that Charlie helped uh bring about when he was being considered for vice president.
00:04:22.000And then, of course, all the efforts that turning point action, the Charlie that you did, Jack, to get JD in office, get to get uh President Trump in office.
00:04:30.000So I actually, we've both been doing the media rounds, uh, Jack.
00:04:33.000Because we're in DC, we're in the Imperial Capitol, might as well make use of it.
00:04:38.000I actually went on the with Dana Perino and Bill Hemer this morning to talk about the interview that I had with J.D. Vance yesterday and to just thank him for what a tremendous human being he is and and for willing to emulate Charlie's, you know, his style, his mission on campus to actually take the questions.
00:04:57.000Uh, I just want to give a huge shout out and hat tip uh to uh the vice president.
00:05:02.000You know, people I don't know how people imagine this working, but he had he and Usha have been so um just generous, and they have been the ones offering to help.
00:05:12.000They have been the ones saying, hey, we want to make sure that Charlie's legacy lives on.
00:05:43.000I mean, to have the vice president, sitting vice president of the United States, a guy who has been spearheading and and look, I was in the room the other day when uh Marco Rubio and JD Vance came in coming up, getting off of the call with like the Hamas negotiations and Qatar, and we know that J.D. Vance has been involved with working with Whitkoff and the Ukraine-Russia war, and so we're in the middle of a government shot.
00:06:05.000There's so many things that are going on in DC that he has on his portfolio, and he's gonna take all of this time to honor Charlie.
00:06:14.000And by the way, to continue the tour that the left tried to stop.
00:06:19.000And JD said in that interview, you know, with me, he said, listen, we're gonna we're gonna each take a piece of this.
00:06:26.000And that's nobody can replace Charlie.
00:06:28.000There's nobody's gonna hold a candle to Charlie.
00:06:31.000As the Bible said, we are unfit to tie the sandals of Charlie.
00:06:35.000But here we are, and we're we're we're attempting to do our best.
00:06:38.000We miss him, but we're gonna we're gonna keep uh we're gonna hold the torch as best we can, and JD's gonna be a big part of that, and just so grateful to him.
00:06:46.000So also, Jack, I played a clip of mine.
00:06:48.000I'm gonna play a clip of yours, and that is about this this theme of this rise of left-wing violence.
00:06:53.000I did a town hall with News Nation last night.
00:07:12.000But by the way, give it up for Real America's Voice and Salem Radio Network that carries this show live every day.
00:07:17.000And for Real America's Voice that you did such great work to set up the shot, uh, the shoot yesterday, the interviews, they did all of that, Parker at the White House.
00:08:07.000So this is a really big story that's been bubbling up and it's kind of hitting a crescendo right now because I'm being asked about it, you're being asked about it.
00:08:20.000This is a guy who, by the way, was run out of Dartmouth uh years ago, back in 2017, because of his support for violence.
00:08:27.000And he claims that Antifa violence is ethically and morally justified when it is done against people who he decides are white supremacists and fascists.
00:08:38.000And he wrote a whole book on this in 2017.
00:08:42.000He came out, the president of Dartmouth denounced him.
00:08:45.000Then of course, Rutgers went and gave him this.
00:08:47.000And by the way, it's a part-time teaching position.
00:08:50.000I just want to be very clear about that.
00:08:52.000So he came up and has been spreading this hate and domestic terrorism all throughout his tenure at Rutgers.
00:08:59.000Well, in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, the turning point chapter on campus was saying, look, this guy has been here for all this time.
00:09:36.000So he advocates for a violent world for us to exist amidst violence, political violence.
00:09:42.000The second the temperature gets turned up on him just a little, not that we condone any form of violence, but this guy gets a little bit of heat on him and he flies straight to Spain.
00:09:55.000He cannot exist in the world for that which he advocates for.
00:09:59.000And then you know, and taking a vacation.
00:10:01.000These kids are meanwhile getting doxxed on campus.
00:10:04.000The university is launching an investigation on the kids, not him, not him, not on the violence that he advocates for, but on him.
00:10:13.000Finding a woman who shares your values, faith, family, and patriotism feels nearly impossible, but it doesn't have to be.
00:10:20.000Selective Search, America's leading matchmaking firm, is changing the game.
00:10:25.000They connect strong, successful men like you, men who love God, love this country, and want a family, with incredible women who share your values.
00:10:33.000These are intelligent, faith-driven women who put family first and still believe in traditional values.
00:11:20.000Go to Selectivesearch.com/slash California and start building the future you deserve.
00:11:28.000So yes, I went to this town hall last night.
00:11:31.000Fetterman is actually the one that's going most viral, John Fetterman, because he said, I'm not going to call conservatives fascists, right?
00:11:39.000So Fetterman is striking this civil tone.
00:11:41.000It was supposed to be this very civil uh debate.
00:11:44.000Uh Chris Cuomo had reached out, asked me to be a part of it.
00:13:07.000But it's not good enough because he won't call Republic and this shows you.
00:13:11.000I'm I'm sorry, but like we we're on Charlie's show, right?
00:13:15.000This shows you the mindset and the ecosystem that leads to a heinous act like this because they demand this theological fealty to you must say the words.
00:13:27.000And if you don't say that, then they're gonna throw you out of office.
00:13:30.000Well, let's look since we're on Fetterman, let's play that clip 270.
00:13:33.000I knew I know and I love people that voted for President Trump.
00:13:36.000Uh, but they are not fascists, they're not Nazis, they're not trying to destroy her the constitution, those things.
00:13:42.000We really gotta turn the temperature down.
00:13:45.000And for that, he's getting basically primaried by his own party.
00:13:50.000Right, and politically speaking, so I mean, obviously, we're both from Pennsylvania.
00:13:53.000So Trump wins Pennsylvania, but then Fetterman also won Pennsylvania.
00:13:56.000So he's in this same boat with like Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, a number of people who are demic Bill Evers in Wisconsin, who are representing states as Democrats in places where Trump won.
00:14:06.000You'd see this also with John Osloff in Georgia, of course, in Arizona as well, which Charlie, of course, is very close to.
00:14:45.000He's still out there saying Antifa is not real and that Trump supporters are domestic terrorists.
00:14:50.000And if you want to know why conservatives are getting so upset about the rise of left-wing violence, it's because of this rhetoric that is it put this sheer sheen of respectability because it shows up on the nightly news or it shows up on late-night talk shows.
00:15:51.000Go try working at a federal ice facility.
00:15:54.000Go try uh being a journalist and covering the events without getting a black eye or getting a uh, you know, a liquid cement uh milkshake thrown at your head.
00:16:05.000So yeah, I don't I by the way, and the whole point of Antifa, Jack, and you know this better than anybody, is that it is intentionally decentralized.
00:16:12.000It is intentionally this amorphous, flexible, loose network of left-wing militants.
00:16:19.000And and and they certainly do have tactical flow.
00:16:21.000We know there's financiers, we know there's the rest of it.
00:16:24.000But what Jimmy Kimmel is doing, uh remember, this is playing towards that slim base that he still has left, and he has to keep repeating like recursive thoughts over and over again.
00:16:35.000We are not violent, they are violent, we are not violent as as I and I hate to say it, but as the left wing violence continues throughout this country.
00:16:48.000We've got three names, Tyler Robinson, uh Ryan Ralph, Ryan Ryan Routh, and uh Luigi Maggioni.
00:16:55.000Hey everybody, this is Andrew Colvet, executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:17:00.000Burna is proud to continue supporting Charlie Kirk's mission and the important work of Turning Point USA because empowering Americans to defend their freedoms begins with protecting themselves, their families, and their communities.
00:17:10.000The Berna, less lethal launcher, looks like a firearm, but it isn't one.
00:17:14.000It fires powerful chemical irritant and kinetic projectiles that can stop a threat in its tracks, giving you the time and space you need to get to safety.
00:17:23.000And now you can hear from Charlie in his own words.
00:17:25.000Burna is about preventing tragedy and preserving life without the consequences of using lethal measures.
00:17:31.000It's legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks, and over 500,000 units are in the hands of responsible citizens and law enforcement.
00:17:39.000Burna can be shipped directly to your door.
00:17:41.000I've personally tested the Burna pistol and can vouch for its effectiveness and its ease of use.
00:18:43.000I saw him at the White House a couple of times uh during the campaign.
00:18:47.000And uh just over the last year since President Trump got elected, he and I were uh were put on the Air Force uh basically the Academy Board and to try to work with Air Force Academy to try to help our young leaders of the future.
00:19:01.000And Charlie and I had several conversations, and we were really outspoken on a lot of things that need to be changed.
00:19:08.000And again, Charlie was uh he was one of the kind and uh you you always enjoyed talking to him because you'd always learned something.
00:19:17.000I I learned something a long time ago.
00:19:18.000You speak a third of the time, you listen two-thirds of the time.
00:19:22.000And if uh I could have listened all day to Charlie, but it's a it's a shame of what's happened, uh, seemed like just yesterday.
00:19:29.000Uh, but his memory will go on and his teachings because he did so much for young kids.
00:19:34.000I spent my life on college campuses, and Lord have mercy how much we needed somebody like Charlie.
00:19:40.000And now, Erica and and you guys and everybody on board going in that direction, we have to continue that uh ministry on college campuses.
00:19:56.000Well, and coach, I just have to say thank you uh on behalf of everybody at Turning Point USA for joining us on November 5th, an upcoming event.
00:20:05.000Campus stops gonna be huge with alongside Eric Trump, Laura Trump, and Benny Johnson on November 5th.
00:20:12.000I think we've got that graphic, guys, if you can throw it up.
00:20:15.000You are going to be uh helping us kick that event off in November 5th at Auburn University, a place you know just a little bit about.
00:20:23.000Coach, maybe tell us uh why you felt uh like you needed to be a part of this.
00:20:28.000Well, first of all, we'd working on this with Charlie before uh uh he lost his life.
00:20:38.000We were working out the details, and obviously now things have changed, but it hadn't changed in the fact that uh we're still gonna bring his thoughts and memory to uh Auburn.
00:20:48.000Uh my understanding is uh it's gonna be a hard ticket to get.
00:20:52.000Uh, we've got a lot of great Americans on that campus that uh that really love Charlie and want to continue on.
00:21:00.000And again, I'm you you hate to say this, but uh things have really even uh multiplied even after what happened to Charlie.
00:21:10.000Uh but again uh his memory is coming to Auburn.
00:21:14.000Uh again, we've got a great group of Benny and Laura and Eric.
00:21:18.000I'll actually leave DC, come back, fly back just for that.
00:21:22.000I live only three or four blocks from the campus, so I'm looking forward to uh turning point coming to Auburn and uh sharing a lot of thoughts about uh about the future of Turning Point.
00:21:34.000And of course, Eric and Laura coming there.
00:21:37.000They'll they'll bring a lot of other insight.
00:21:39.000Benny also, but I'm just looking forward to being around college kids again and having a chance and opportunity to to kick something off that I think is gonna be pretty special in the in the Auburn area in the Auburn Arena, around uh, you know, 10,000 people or so that will grab a halt and keep this thing going.
00:22:15.000It's a sacred duty, and it's folks like you throwing in and pitching in and uh making sure that your influence is heard, that the kids get to hear from you directly.
00:22:26.000That um makes me very, very confident that we are going to take the baton from Charlie and run with it uh as best we can, but God's gonna bless it.
00:22:35.000And so thank you for making the time, Senator.
00:22:38.000Uh it it's a it's a huge blessing to us.
00:22:40.000Now, something else you and Charlie shared, uh, and I've mentioned this on the show before is that at towards the end of his life, Charlie probably more than any other issue raised the alarm bells about the rise of Islam in the West.
00:22:55.000Obviously, he had just visited London and the UK, saw it up close and personal, realized half the TV channels were uh in a different language, mostly mostly uh um uh Middle Eastern languages, I think that's safe to say.
00:23:12.000And then he he we saw these different communities within the United States trying to uh put together Muslim-centric uh cultures and sort of uh you know, having mosques and having an HOA that was basically paying towards the mosque and epic city, I think is what they called it in Texas.
00:23:29.000But there's other examples, uh, Dearborn, Michigan.
00:23:32.000There's a rising tide of Islam in the West.
00:23:34.000And Coach, you are introducing legislation to ban Sharia law in the United States.
00:23:40.000Well, first of all, uh, this is a great country, greatest country ever on the face of the earth.
00:23:45.000Uh we have freedoms, we have a constitution.
00:23:48.000Uh and you have the right to come here and be a part of this country.
00:23:53.000The the thing that you don't have the right to do is to attack our constitution, other religions, uh, speak out against America, speak out against Americans, uh, death to America.
00:24:09.000Charlie and I had talked talked about this recently, uh, before his death.
00:24:14.000And uh he was starting on that campaign.
00:24:17.000I'm gonna continue that campaign uh in his name because we have a great country, but we can't, if you don't assimilate with America and love our flag and love our people and put put your foot forward to help make this country greater instead of downgrade it, you have no place here.
00:24:37.000So we need to ban Sharia law, and we need to make sure that anything that is done uh towards American people, if spoken out against, I don't care what it is.
00:24:47.000If you if you speak out against this country, and right now it's mostly comes from uh radical Islamists, then you don't you don't deserve to be here.
00:24:59.000Uh, we're gonna continue on with it, and we're gonna stand up for what we believe in, and that's the greatest country on the face of the earth.
00:25:08.000Well, coach, uh I want to say thank you so much for coming on.
00:25:10.000And and I know Charlie shared so many of the values that you fight for, so many of the values that it it seems that as a country we we seem to have forgotten about many times.
00:25:21.000And unfortunately, one of those values is the idea of being civil.
00:25:25.000And and Andrew and I have been sitting here talking today and really for the past month about the violence that we've seen come from these elements on the far left.
00:25:35.000And and coach, what is it that that drives them to be so directly violent?
00:25:41.000And you have your your colleague, John Fetterman, he came out last night and he's on this panel with Andrew and says, Well, I don't think we should call Republicans fascists.
00:25:49.000And we wake up this morning and Democrats are trying to primary him out of office in Pennsylvania.
00:25:54.000Yeah, uh John's one of the few that speaks out uh for America on the on the Democratic side right now.
00:25:59.000They are just moving in the direction of socialism and fascism and communism.
00:26:05.000You name it, they're trying to do it because they want power.
00:26:08.000They don't want anything better for our country.
00:26:10.000They want they want people to join their cause to tear our country down and make something different than what it is, what it was and how it was built.
00:27:21.000We, you know, we I've commented on this that I did not feel I didn't even really internalize the fact that there was a government shutdown going on.
00:27:30.000This is something that you are actively involved in, uh, being a part of the Senate.
00:27:34.000Uh I got to DC and it's like, oh, I can feel the shutdown here.
00:27:38.000This is like the one place where you can you can feel it.
00:27:40.000I understand that eventually some of these paychecks for our servicemen, you know, might get held out, but luckily we found like a stopgap for that in the short term.
00:27:50.000Are you optimistic it's going to end soon, or are the Democrats just gonna, you know, be uh not be moved, not be uh budged in this fight for health care for I don't know, illegals?
00:28:00.000Yeah, well, here's here's what you gotta understand.
00:28:03.000It's the craziest thing I've ever been around.
00:28:04.000And I've been around a lot of crazy stuff in the last five years in the Biden administration, and now thank goodness President Trump got elected.
00:28:11.000But this is the budget that we've had for the last four years, and every Democrat has voted for it.
00:28:18.000Now all of a sudden, President Trump is not in office.
00:28:39.000We're spending two trillion more than American taxpayers send already.
00:28:43.000We're two million, two trillion over uh uh over the budget.
00:28:47.000And so we really need to cut it, not beyond.
00:28:49.000They want to add a trillion and a half.
00:28:51.000They want 50 billion for illegal aliens health health care insurance, and they want to take away the the 50 billion dollars that was in the one big, big beautiful field that will take care of rural hospitals.
00:30:18.000I mean, this is the central dynamic, the conflict that's happening right now in Washington.
00:30:22.000This they want one point, did you say 1.3 trillion dollars of additional spending for health care for illegals, able-body men and women, et cetera.
00:30:31.000Yeah, and take care of the health care that's going to rural hospitals, which is there's nothing more needed.
00:30:38.000Our health care, Obamacare ruined our health care system in this country.
00:30:41.000It was supposed to make it more affordable, uh, more doctors, more nurses, more hospitals.
00:30:49.000It has destroyed our health care system.
00:30:51.000So they've got a subsidy in there that was put in for COVID, which was fine.
00:30:55.000We might have needed it, but we don't need it anymore.
00:30:57.000It's made, it's made things more difficult for the American people.
00:31:01.000And so premiums are gonna go up anyway because of inflation, but they're blaming the premiums that are going up on health care uh on our insurance policies on publicans voting against this.
00:31:18.000I don't know whether we'll open it up again, but we're gonna have to have the same conversation in December.
00:31:23.000And so four or five weeks from now, and or at the end of November.
00:31:27.000And so uh the Democrats have lost their mind.
00:31:30.000If they don't want to pass it, that's fine.
00:31:31.000President Trump is going through the bloated government in Washington, D.C., he is furloughing and firing people that don't have a don't have anything to do.
00:31:51.000I mean, because we understand that there's this fight over the 1.3 trillion dollars in health care for working men and women, as they like to say, but it's actually way uh way more sinister than that because a lot of these are illegals.
00:33:01.000No, I I agree with you, uh, coach, and he's got a heck of a heck of a party to try and wrangle in.
00:33:07.000I mean, we sometimes joke that the conservative movement is a bunch of rauco, independent-minded, hard to hard to control people.
00:33:15.000But I actually think that the divide between sort of these moderate old school Democrats and the new left might be even more dramatic.
00:33:22.000I mean, you know, to put a finer point on what we talked about earlier, Jack.
00:33:26.000It's the left wing of the Democrat Party that if it's Democrat Socialists of America communist that is actually advocating for political violence.
00:33:37.000Uh again, I know what a uh how much faith Charlie put in you, how much belief he had, and we we uh wish you all the best in your gubernatorial run in the great state of Alabama, and we will be seeing you in Auburn uh in just a few weeks.
00:34:10.000For anyone that has eyes to see and ears to hear and actually reads the Kadith and reads parts of the Quran, you know that conquest is an Islamic value.
00:34:24.000To submit is literally what Islam means.
00:34:30.000It's very hard to get serious Muslims to admit to this that they actually do want conquest, that they do want to take over.
00:34:41.000Jack, I mean, ultimately that is what we're seeing kind of play out in places like London and now New York, and we have the debate huge debate that's going to be taking place tonight between Andrew Cuomo, Sliwa, and uh Momdani.
00:34:56.000And so tonight, um, in lieu of thought crime, or you know, we're still doing the Thought Crime show, but it's actually going to be as Charlie would have wanted, by the way, a debate watch and then a debate reaction show.
00:35:07.000So I want everyone to tune in this evening.
00:35:16.000We will be streaming the program tonight on Charlie Kirk on the on the Charlie Kirk platforms, platforms and all the platforms, and then we'll be coming on afterwards.
00:35:25.000Andrew, actually, you're gonna be flight.
00:35:27.000I gotta catch the flight, but I'll do the pre-showing on the phone.
00:35:29.000And I'll watch part of the debate, and then you guys are gonna take it from there.
00:35:32.000Yeah, and we'll get um we'll get and Blake's on assignments.
00:35:34.000We'll get we'll get Tyler, myself, Cliff Maloney, and you know, I want to get Mikey.
00:36:30.000You hear a lot of pundits fear monger about the rise of Christian nationalism right in front of their eyes, Islam is taking over public places and gaining political power.
00:36:38.000Islam is a fundamentally political ideology that aims to conquer us military or militarily or demographically.
00:37:09.000You know what it was is because he went to Oxford and Cambridge because he was over there in London and he saw it with his own eyes.
00:37:15.000That was one not the last foreign trip, but one of the last big trips that he did outside of the country.
00:37:21.000And he came back, and the very first thing he did was identify what the problem was, and he just boiled it down to it's down to its bones, down to its very DNA is only Charlie could do, and said, guys, they're ahead of us, but we're on the same path.
00:37:36.000We're on the very same path with Islam.
00:37:38.000And then he was over there seeing what was happening.
00:37:40.000Uh obviously he saw how bad the infiltration on campus was, but he saw it around the cities as well.
00:37:46.000And uh, we saw, of course, the huge rally for Tommy Robinson, which had already been uh pre-scheduled the same week that Charlie was killed, and that that was very much a repudiation of the mass migration of Islam and third worlders into London.
00:38:00.000And then because Charlie uh was murdered three days prior, I think I have the dates right there, it just became this connection of Charlie and Christianity and Western civilization, sort of all mixed together in one.
00:38:16.000Charlie Charlie's mantra at the end was save the West.
00:38:20.000And I think he he had wanted to travel internationally in 2023, 2024, but he said, America first, we're gonna stay domestic, we're gonna stay focused here at home.
00:38:31.000We win the election, and he finally allowed himself to schedule a few trips.
00:38:35.000And so, of course, he went to London, but then he went to uh Korea, the South Korea, and Japan as well.
