00:01:32.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:35.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:44.000 Today is book launch day for college scam.
00:01:46.000 You guys can get your copy at college scam.com, The College Scam, How American Universities Are Bankrupting and Brainwashing Away the Future of America's Youth.
00:01:55.000 We're going to be talking about this book all throughout the hour and giving some details and evidence of that.
00:02:00.000 I got an email here, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:02:02.000 Charlie, it's very hard for my generation to admit, being the baby boomers, what college has become.
00:02:10.000 And that is true.
00:02:11.000 It's very hard for people to admit that college has become a legalized scam against America's young people.
00:02:17.000 You guys can check out the book, college scam.com.
00:02:20.000 All proceeds of the book, again, all profits, I should say, go to Turning Point USA.
00:02:25.000 So it's a way that you are able to support Turning Point USA and our efforts on the ground on high school or college campuses across the country.
00:02:33.000 I don't write a book very often.
00:02:35.000 The last one I did was the MAGA Doctrine.
00:02:36.000 It did very, very well.
00:02:37.000 It was a New York Times bestseller.
00:02:39.000 Probably should have been a number one New York Times bestseller.
00:02:42.000 It was right on the line.
00:02:43.000 But College Scam is now my next book since I've done that.
00:02:47.000 And I think you guys would really enjoy it.
00:02:48.000 We'll talk about it all throughout the hour.
00:02:50.000 But first, I want to talk about some of the news that was made over the weekend at our Turning Point USA Student Action Summit.
00:02:57.000 At our Turning Point USA Student Action Summit, we had 5,000 students from across the country that came from every corner to come to Tampa, Florida.
00:03:06.000 We were there and brought to you by Turning Point Action.
00:03:08.000 We had Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump and the biggest speakers in the entire movement, Josh Hawley, we had Laura Ingram, we had Ted Cruz, we had Greg Gutfeld.
00:03:17.000 We had every speaker you could possibly imagine.
00:03:20.000 And first of all, I was struck by the optimism and the positivity of our audience.
00:03:26.000 I was moved by how so many of our students who attended were forward-thinking and were ready, willing, and able to get engaged and get involved.
00:03:36.000 In fact, here's an amazing statistic for all of you watching at home.
00:03:40.000 We had started over this weekend, over 300 new Turning Point USA chapters were started at the Student Action Summit.
00:03:49.000 Think about that.
00:03:50.000 That's the entire field program for most organizations.
00:03:53.000 That's the entire membership network.
00:03:55.000 Those are new chapters that just started in the last weekend.
00:04:00.000 72 hours, 300 new chapters, high school and college chapters at Turning Point USA.
00:04:06.000 An extraordinary accomplishment.
00:04:09.000 And so it was really amazing to see the last couple of days, kind of how our students were engaging, were involving themselves.
00:04:18.000 And it wasn't just students that were there.
00:04:20.000 It was predominantly students, but they were moms and dads there.
00:04:23.000 They were grassroots activists.
00:04:24.000 They were homeschool moms.
00:04:25.000 We talked about Turning Point Academy.
00:04:27.000 We talked about homeschool curriculum.
00:04:29.000 It was very action-oriented.
00:04:30.000 The message was coherent.
00:04:32.000 It was unified.
00:04:33.000 It was something that was special.
00:04:35.000 And so then we had the straw poll.
00:04:38.000 Now, the straw poll was really interesting.
00:04:41.000 So we conducted the straw poll of all of our attendees.
00:04:44.000 Trafalgar, an independent polling agency, did the straw poll.
00:04:48.000 And again, we had 5,000 students there.
00:04:50.000 And I was very curious about how they would possibly view the 2024 presidential race.
00:04:58.000 In fact, I wasn't the only one that was curious.
00:05:00.000 The media was clamoring over who's going to win the straw poll, who's going to win the straw poll.
00:05:04.000 And so we made the decision: hey, let's have every speaker speak that's going to be a 2024 potential contender, and then let's do the straw poll.
00:05:11.000 So, turning point action, we had Ted Cruz, we had Josh Hawley, we had Ron DeSantis, we had Donald Trump.
00:05:18.000 And so, Donald Trump finished on Saturday evening after about almost a two-hour speech.
00:05:22.000 It was like a one-hour and 45-minute speech, very, very long address, and the audience loved it.
00:05:28.000 And so, then we opened up voting.
00:05:29.000 And so, on Sunday, the results came out.
00:05:32.000 So, first, I want to share with you some of the results that do not actually apply to the 2024 race.
00:05:38.000 And yes, I was a big advocate for adding these questions to the straw poll.
00:05:43.000 So, first of which is a question that I asked, and I'll tell you the results of the straw poll.
00:05:47.000 You might have saw it in the news, but we'll talk about it here.
00:05:49.000 The first of which is, do you approve of the Republican establishment in Washington, D.C.?
00:05:55.000 And by the way, I would love your answers to this: freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:05:59.000 This should give you hope.
00:06:01.000 92.7 of our Turning Point USA students that attended our Student Action Summit disapprove of the Republican establishment in Washington, D.C. 72%.
00:06:15.000 We then asked, Are you confident in the Republicans' ability to communicate to younger voters?
00:06:22.000 73.8% of our attendees are not confident in the Republican Party's ability to communicate with younger voters.
00:06:33.000 73.8% do not believe the Republican Party is well suited to communicate to younger voters.
00:06:39.000 This should be a fire alarm for Republican leaders out there.
00:06:44.000 If you're watching, if you're engaged, if you care, your own young conservative constituents think you guys are awful at messaging.
00:06:52.000 Now, I'm not pretending that we have all the answers at Turning Point.
00:06:55.000 I'm not saying we have every single one of these figured out, but we did fill a room with 5,000 young conservatives.
00:07:00.000 We're definitely on the way, but most Republican politicians are completely uninterested in that.
00:07:05.000 They would much rather do the next thing, which was so fascinating.
00:07:09.000 And by the way, our in-depth conversation with Senator Rick Scott will air soon.
00:07:14.000 I think you guys will really enjoy that.
00:07:16.000 But we asked this question, which is Ukraine versus the southern border.
00:07:20.000 Do you believe, this is the question we ask to our students, do you believe building a southern border wall or sending $56 billion to Ukraine is more important?
00:07:29.000 Which one is more important?
00:07:30.000 98% of our students at Turning Point USA, 98% believed at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit this last weekend, that building a southern border wall is far more important than sending money to Ukraine.
00:07:45.000 2% of our attendees thought Ukraine was more important.
00:07:48.000 I'm not sure who those people were.
00:07:50.000 I would love to meet them.
00:07:51.000 98%.
00:07:54.000 And yet, your Republicans in Washington, D.C. are much more fixated on financing a proxy war in Ukraine than building a southern border wall.
00:08:04.000 I was stunned.
00:08:04.000 I thought maybe it would be 70, 30, 98% of the Republican base.
00:08:10.000 Why is it that Republicans are so enthusiastic about doing that, but not representing the interests of their voters?
00:08:15.000 Well, it goes to show why 92.7% of our attendees disapprove of the Republican establishment in Washington, D.C., 92.7%.
00:08:27.000 So the questions continued, where we also asked our audience, which candidate do you think will be the most difficult to defeat for president in 2024?
00:08:36.000 And I can almost guarantee you the winner of this saw the result because it was all over MSNBC this morning.
00:08:41.000 MSNBC totally ignored our Republican presidential straw poll, but they were very interested.
00:08:47.000 And we did this, by the way, because I was interested in what our audience thought, but I also wanted to get our kind of event into mainstream news.
00:08:54.000 So I said, the best way to get our event into mainstream news is ask Republicans which Democrat they don't want to run against.
00:08:59.000 I was like, that would be an easy way to get in there.
00:09:01.000 And the answers were interesting.
00:09:03.000 Which Democrat do you think is the most difficult to defeat?
00:09:05.000 By the way, I want to ask you guys that, freedomatcharlikirk.com.
00:09:08.000 Which Democrat is most difficult for us to defeat?
00:09:11.000 Number one with 30% of the vote, Gavin Newsom.
00:09:15.000 Gavin Newsom with 30.3% of the vote, followed by Michelle Obama at 13.6%, Hillary Clinton at 10.5%, Bernie Sanders at 10.3%, Camela Harris at 7.9%, AOC at 5.9%, Joe Biden at 4.4%, Pete Boot Edge Edge at 3.8%, Tulsi Gabbard at 1%, Stacey Abrams at half of a percent, Roy Cooper at 0.3%, Jared Polis at 0.3%, and then Nunn at 7.2%.
00:09:45.000 Gavin Newsom is the one that Republican activists think is going to be the hardest to beat in 2024.
00:09:52.000 But who will run on the Republican side in 2024?
00:09:56.000 That is the question that we asked all of our students.
00:10:02.000 For a couple of years now, people have been setting up a contest between crypto and gold, but that's like comparing a truck with an SUV.
00:10:08.000 Both carry stuff and travel from A to B, but they do different jobs.
00:10:11.000 Gold's job is to keep the value of your money safe and preserve its value.
00:10:14.000 And since Ukraine, the oil and the inflation crisis has done a brilliant job compared to stocks and other investments.
00:10:20.000 So if you're worried about what's going on right now, who isn't?
00:10:22.000 Just talk to an expert at Noble Gold about precious metal IRAs for your retirement.

00:10:41.000 Now to find out more or visit noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:10:44.000 That's noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:10:49.000 So I'm kind of getting up to date of all the news.
00:10:52.000 It seems as if our event this last weekend, it just keeps on making the news.
00:10:56.000 Whoopi Goldberg is talking about it.
00:10:59.000 There's been huge amounts of coverage.
00:11:01.000 President Donald Trump posted about it this morning on Truth Social, and he gave a two-hour address.
00:11:08.000 So we asked the question to our students, 5,000 students, very, very high turnout, by the way, in the poll, very high.
00:11:15.000 We asked the question, quote, if Donald Trump did run and the 2024 Republican presidential primary offers the following choices, for whom would you vote?
00:11:25.000 Only those receiving votes are listed.
00:11:27.000 So we asked the question, would you vote for Mike Pence?
00:11:30.000 Would you vote for Nikki Haley?
00:11:31.000 Would you vote for Ted Cruz?
00:11:33.000 Would you vote for Mike Pompeo?
00:11:34.000 Would you vote for Christy Noam?
00:11:36.000 Would you vote for Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump?
00:11:38.000 Seven options.
00:11:42.000 If Donald Trump did run in 2024, presidential primary, and it offers the following choices, for whom did you vote?
00:11:50.000 Donald Trump won with 78.7% of the vote.
00:11:54.000 You guys could put the graphic up on screen.
00:11:56.000 Ron DeSantis finished second with 19% of the vote.
00:11:59.000 Christine Ohm with 1% of the vote.
00:12:02.000 Mike Pompeo with 0.5%.
00:12:04.000 Ted Cruz with 0.3%.
00:12:07.000 0.3% for Ted Cruz.
00:12:09.000 0.3% for Nikki Haley.
00:12:11.000 And 0.3% for Mike Pence.
00:12:14.000 78%.
00:12:17.000 78.7%.
00:12:19.000 Donald Trump won.
00:12:20.000 78.7%.
00:12:24.000 A nearly a 59-point victory, nearly 60-point tally.
00:12:30.000 So then we asked the question: if Donald Trump did not run and the 2024 presidential primary offers the following choices, for whom would you vote?
00:12:40.000 Ron DeSantis, 87%.
00:12:44.000 And then Donald Trump Jr. at 6%, Ted Cruz at 2.3%, Christine Noam at 1.5%.
00:12:49.000 So the question is: if Donald Trump did not run, then Ron DeSantis convincingly won the kind of second choice, if you will.
00:12:59.000 87%.
00:13:01.000 So this is still Trump's party.
00:13:04.000 I know there's a lot of enthusiasm behind DeSantis, and that's reflected in the next question, by the way, that DeSantis has a lot of approval.
00:13:09.000 I had a great time with DeSantis there.
00:13:11.000 I think the world of him, he's a phenomenal leader.
00:13:13.000 He gave a great speech.
00:13:14.000 He does a terrific job.
00:13:17.000 And I'll be honest, I was surprised by how much Donald Trump won by 59 points in the straw poll.
00:13:25.000 And so I could tell you this: that a lot of people thought going into our event that Ron DeSantis was going to win the straw poll.
00:13:32.000 And I said, who knows?
00:13:34.000 I mean, it's an open question.
00:13:36.000 It could possibly happen.
00:13:38.000 And with the results that came in, I was floored because so many people said, well, you know, younger voters, they prefer Ron DeSantis and all that.
00:13:49.000 But this is a different type of demographic in one way, though.
00:13:51.000 And this is the one thing I wish I could have clarified with some of the media that was covering this if they would just pick up the phone and ask us a question about our own straw poll.
00:13:58.000 Is that a turning point activist, a turning point action activist is not like any other.
00:14:02.000 These are the workers.
00:14:04.000 These are the people that show up to school board meetings.
00:14:06.000 These are the organizers.
00:14:07.000 These are the homeschooling of children.
00:14:08.000 These are the top-level activists, which, by the way, that drives the party.
00:14:13.000 These are the state party chairmen.
00:14:14.000 These are the elected officials.
00:14:16.000 These are the signature gatherers.
00:14:17.000 These are not just like passive kind of passerby people.
00:14:20.000 These are in the grass, roots of the grassroots.
00:14:23.000 That's something I want to make sure we emphasize as we talk about the results here.
00:14:27.000 These are people that live and breathe politics.
00:14:30.000 Why is that important?
00:14:31.000 Without these people, you do not have a political party, period.
00:14:35.000 You can have people that passively vote and they go and they fill out a ballot, but these are the people that donate to campaigns.
00:14:40.000 These are the people that are frontline volunteers.
00:14:43.000 That's an important distinction because if Donald Trump wins in 2024, not only do I believe he has a wide level of support, he has a deep level of support.
00:14:53.000 The people that are going to go do the extra work, make the phone calls, knock on the doors, drive to events.
00:15:00.000 That's really what ends up winning a lot of elections, especially in primary campaigns.
00:15:06.000 And I do want to say, we just got an email, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:15:10.000 Hey, Charlie, I watched the event online.
00:15:11.000 Trump seemed the same strong speaker.
00:15:14.000 What's interesting is we're so weak to senile Biden, and that contrast makes Trump appear even stronger.
00:15:21.000 We got another email here at freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
00:15:24.000 We want the two best, toughest candidates at the top.
00:15:26.000 Your conference poll, Charlie, confirmed that we should have Trump DeSantis.
00:15:30.000 Now, that can't happen unless somebody moves out of the state of Florida because they can't both be from the same state.
00:15:34.000 So maybe Trump can go get a condo in Wyoming and primary.
00:15:38.000 No, Liz Chandey actually is not doing too well right now.
00:15:40.000 I'm told Harriet Hageman is doing pretty well.
00:15:44.000 And so this is an important distinction to make that this, these are the activists.
00:15:50.000 This is the base of the entire party.
00:15:53.000 Trump with 78.7%.
00:15:56.000 But then when asked, if not Trump, then Ron DeSantis overwhelmingly.
00:15:59.000 That's a win for both of them.
00:16:01.000 The media is trying to make it seem like it's a defeat for DeSantis and a win for Trump.
00:16:05.000 It's a win for Trump and a win for DeSantis.
00:16:10.000 Look, we talk about current events a lot on this show, but there's other things that are in life that are bigger than current events, bigger things.
00:16:16.000 We try to do some shows every so often on these things.
00:16:19.000 But look, what am I talking about when I say that?
00:16:21.000 How about good and evil?
00:16:22.000 Right and wrong, prayer and the Bible or heaven and hell.
00:16:25.000 So look, the great C.S. Lewis, who's one of the most amazing minds ever to exist, was a master at addressing these questions.
00:16:34.000 And that is why Hillsdale College, the great college, the only college, in my opinion, wants you to learn more about him and his writings in their newest free online course, C.S. Lewis on Christianity.
00:16:46.000 And it all starts with taking a short quiz to find out how much you already know about Lewis.
00:16:52.000 He wrote more than the Narnia series, by the way.
00:16:54.000 Look, Hillsdale College is amazing.
00:16:56.000 They defend liberty.
00:16:57.000 They pursue truth.
00:16:58.000 They do a great job.
00:17:00.000 So just write this down.
00:17:01.000 This should be your go-to resource.
00:17:02.000 Remember, I have taken 16 of their online courses, and I have promised Dr. Arne I'm eventually going to finish them all.
00:17:09.000 Go to charlie4hillsdale.com to take this fun, interactive quiz, and then sign up for this free course.
00:17:14.000 The answers may even surprise you, even if you think you know everything about C.S. Lewis.
00:17:18.000 They surprised me, my goodness.
00:17:20.000 The quiz, the course, and everything you learn at Hillsdale College are yours for free, as always.
00:17:25.000 So take the C.S. Lewis quiz, charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:17:28.000 That is charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:17:30.000 Take as many online courses as you can.
00:17:32.000 The Constitution course is amazing, but their C.S. Lewis course is extraordinary.
00:17:39.000 And by the way, Hillsdale College, just phenomenal.
00:17:42.000 Charlie4Hillsdale.com.
00:17:46.000 I got an email.
00:17:47.000 Charlie, I'm a professor at Northern Arizona University.
00:17:51.000 I've never seen the infiltration of socialist indoctrination as it is now.
00:17:55.000 I was offered to teach a writing course.
00:17:57.000 I'm not going to say where because I don't want to out this person.
00:17:59.000 But anyway, this course was all about diversity, equity, inclusion.
00:18:02.000 I declined, but waiting to hear if it will be required to teach it.
00:18:05.000 So anyway, here's what I will be doing.
00:18:06.000 I'll be teaching the evils of diversity, equity, inclusion and require all students to read your new book, The College Scam.
00:18:15.000 There's more than one way to skin a cat.
00:18:18.000 I'm not going to say this person's name, but God bless that person that's watching, collegescam.com.
00:18:22.000 Pick up your copy today.
00:18:25.000 It is launch week.
00:18:26.000 We're doing all sorts of media.
00:18:27.000 Tomorrow, I'm unoutnumbered on Fox News, so I won't be doing the show tomorrow.
00:18:31.000 We have Greg Gutfeld and all this other stuff.
00:18:34.000 So you guys can check it out.
00:18:35.000 CollegeScam.com.
00:18:36.000 I want to play a piece of tape, though.
00:18:38.000 Andrew, number cut 10.
00:18:41.000 So some people are doubting the straw poll results.
00:18:44.000 I don't know why they would.
00:18:45.000 It was done by an independent polling agency, Trafalgar.
00:18:48.000 They're not doubting our integrity.
00:18:49.000 I just think they're doubting, I think they're doubting how instructive this poll actually is.
00:18:55.000 I'll just put it that way.
00:18:56.000 No one's actually doubted the integrity of the poll, nor should they.
00:18:59.000 It was all done by Trafalgar.
00:19:00.000 I didn't see any of it until it was done.
00:19:02.000 So cut 10 is just some of the response from the students after the speech.
00:19:06.000 Play cut 10.
00:19:08.000 Hi, I just want to say the energy in there was absolutely incredible.
00:19:14.000 I love Donald Trump more than anyone in the world, and I'm so proud to be here.
00:19:19.000 I'll tell you, for me, for example, someone that just contracted last October into the military, this is inspiring.
00:19:27.000 That's true, sir.
00:19:28.000 Regardless of what your story is, this is something that people realize I want to serve.
00:19:34.000 I want to do anything for my country to better my country.
00:19:37.000 That was from our event this last weekend at our Turning Point Student Action Summit, the Political Arm.
00:19:43.000 The political session was sponsored by Turning Point Action, the remainder by Turning Point USA.
00:19:48.000 So, I want to talk a little bit about the college scam.
00:19:50.000 So, one of the arguments that I make in the college scam is that some of the most dangerous and pernicious ideas that have and will continue to infect our society stem from our universities.
00:20:05.000 Now, this is one of the reasons why I have said to Republican politicians that we should completely and totally defund the humanities.
00:20:14.000 We could still support science, technology, engineering, and math, but as long as the humanities are going to be teaching Derek Bell, they're going to be teaching Ibram X. Kendi, they're going to be teaching radical ideas rooted in postmodernism, post-structuralism, and critical theory.
00:20:29.000 Why should Republican taxpayer dollars be supporting this?
00:20:32.000 One of the things I want to accomplish with the college scam is to get states like North Dakota, won't happen because of Governor Bergham, or South Dakota, or Kansas or Oklahoma to fully and completely defund their universities in their states for the humanities.
00:20:45.000 Still support the engineering, you need that.
00:20:47.000 Still support math, still support technology, but defund the lesbian studies program or the gender studies program at the University of Kansas.
00:20:55.000 I don't even know if that's a thing, I'm guessing it is in Lawrence, Kansas, one of the more liberal cities in America.
00:21:01.000 So, make the gender studies departments go raise their own money.
00:21:05.000 But if the taxpayers are going to be subsidizing state schools, then we should subsidize engineering, technology, math, science.
00:21:15.000 These things are important, but even science itself has been politicized.
00:21:19.000 But a question that people ask: why should our taxpayer dollars go to subsidize socialist boot camps?
00:21:26.000 So, many years ago, a couple decades ago, there was an academic theory, an academic journal written by environmentalists.
00:21:34.000 I believe it was at Oberlin or Williams, I'll get the exact study, that argued philosophically and academically for widespread depopulation.
00:21:45.000 The argument was that we have too many people on the planet and that we need to radically reduce the amount of human beings that are living in the world.
00:21:53.000 In fact, pollution, congestion, infrastructure, all of these can be solved through eugenics.
00:22:01.000 Basically, what we need to do is we need to reduce the world's population significantly.
00:22:06.000 Now, this is a set of ideas that Bill Gates has flirted with.
00:22:09.000 Bill Gates hasn't outwardly said it.
00:22:10.000 There's been some videos where he's flirted with depopulation.
00:22:14.000 He has philanthropically supported a lot of these ideas throughout the years.
00:22:18.000 But to say Bill Gates has endorsed depopulation is not totally true.
00:22:22.000 However, it's something to say that it was around that.
00:22:25.000 Okay, yes, it's called the Population Bomb.
00:22:26.000 Thank you, Andrew.
00:22:27.000 So, The Population Bomb was a series of academic journals written in 1968.
00:22:32.000 Thank you.
00:22:33.000 Written by Stanford professor Paul E. Elric and his wife, Ann Elric.
00:22:37.000 Exactly.
00:22:38.000 And so it was written in Stanford.
00:22:39.000 It wasn't Oberlin or Williams.
00:22:41.000 I was just doing off the top of my head.
00:22:43.000 And you could read it.
00:22:45.000 So Smithsonian Magazine, the book that incited worldwide fear over overpopulation, of overpopulation.
00:22:51.000 This was, though, a product of the American university.
00:22:55.000 This idea of American, I'm sorry, this idea of mass overpopulation is a product of the assembly line of bad ideas.
00:23:05.000 The same way that the Chinese coronavirus was bioengineered in a Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory is the same way that the worst ideas that are ruining your life and putting our civilization at risk are incubated in a laboratory called college campuses.
00:23:23.000 So Jane Goodall at the World Economic Forum said something that is just now starting to get circulated.
00:23:31.000 The World Economic Forum, of course, is trying to push forward the great reset.
00:23:34.000 Many Republican politicians have no idea about the Great Reset or World Economic Forum.
00:23:42.000 And so before I go any further, by the way, this guy that wrote The Population Bomb, he is still the professor emeritus of population studies at the Department of Biology.
00:23:53.000 Maybe we shouldn't fund these science departments, by the way.
00:23:56.000 Maybe we should just fund engineering.
00:23:58.000 Science has actually become more politicized than anything else.
00:23:58.000 Seriously.
00:24:01.000 And the president of Stanford Center for Conservation Biology.
00:24:05.000 What is the significance of this?
00:24:07.000 Well, look at, listen to this.
00:24:08.000 The World Economic Forum is now coming out and saying that all of our problems could be solved if the population of Earth was reduced by 90%.
00:24:18.000 I talk about this in my book, College Scam, CollegeScam.com, but this is not an abstract journal.
00:24:24.000 This is now becoming policy play cut one.
00:24:28.000 We cannot hide away from human population growth because, you know, it underlies so many of the other problems.
00:24:35.000 All these things we talk about wouldn't be a problem if there was the size of population that there was 500 years ago.
00:24:44.000 So Dr. Jane Goodall is someone that you should all know about.
00:24:47.000 Dr. Jane Goodall is an anthropologist.
00:24:50.000 She's very, very popular.
00:24:53.000 She's the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees.
00:24:56.000 That's probably where you saw her, or probably was exposed to her.
00:25:00.000 She's known for the study of chimpanzees, conservation, and animal welfare.
00:25:03.000 She's an academic, otherwise said.
00:25:06.000 Her whole life, she was involved with Cambridge College and Darwin College, Cambridge Darwin College.
00:25:13.000 And so now she is an outspoken critic of overpopulation, that the world somehow has too many people.
00:25:20.000 Now, a lot of people give Elon Musk kind of attitude.
00:25:24.000 One of Elon Musk's greatest contributions to the American zeitgeist has been standing athwart the overpopulation lie and saying we're actually underpopulated as a species.
00:25:35.000 And we are.
00:25:36.000 We do not have enough people on the planet.
00:25:38.000 We need more people.
00:25:39.000 The human species will be put seriously at risk very soon.
00:25:43.000 So Dr. Jane Goodall is now parroting the same thing that was written in the journal The Population Bomb, the book that incited a worldwide fear over overpopulation, which written by Stanford University Paul R. Elric and his wife Ann Elric.
00:25:58.000 It predicted worldwide famine in the 1970s and 80s due to overpopulation and was totally wrong.
00:26:03.000 There has always been this misguided fear of overpopulation.
00:26:09.000 But the point that I want to make, though, is that your taxpayer dollars and indirectly your child going to college is subsidizing the accreditation and the platforming of these ideas that now the World Economic Forum is absorbing and pushing out.
00:26:24.000 Bill Gates, being a spokesperson and flirting alongside of the ideas of overpopulation, is all comes from the academy, people that have very little to any real world experience, but have been over-inundated with the academic nature that is college campuses.
00:26:41.000 So in the book College Scam, I talk extensively about this.
00:26:44.000 And I also just want to reiterate: all proceeds of the book College Scam go to Turning Point USA.
00:26:49.000 So it doesn't go to me.
00:26:50.000 They're being donated to tpusa.com.
00:26:52.000 Actually, directly doesn't even come into me at all.
00:26:54.000 So if you guys get a book, college scam, college scam.com, it supports our movement at Turning Point USA, helps us hire more staff, grow our high school program, grow our college program.
00:27:02.000 So that's just another incentive to go do it.
00:27:04.000 And I think you're really going to learn something.
00:27:05.000 In fact, I was just reviewing it last night, and I counted how many pages of footnotes we have.
00:27:10.000 We have 35 pages of footnotes at the back of this book.
00:27:12.000 It's very thoughtfully put together.
00:27:13.000 But an important thing to realize is that this tyranny of the scientific elite, as Dwight D. Eisenhower warned against in his farewell address in the 1950s, it all stems from the university.
00:27:25.000 And so I'm not a big fan of blaming just one institution for all of our problems.
00:27:30.000 But I could say this: if you had to blame one institution for everything that's going wrong in America, if you were forced to do that, I believe, as they would say, all roads lead to Rome, all roads lead to college campuses.
00:27:41.000 Where do you think Dr. Fauci got filled with his degrees that gave him credibility?
00:27:45.000 A college campus.
00:27:47.000 What was the first study that came out that lied to us about COVID?
00:27:50.000 A college from the United Kingdom.
00:27:53.000 I believe it was the Imperial College study, if I remember correctly.
00:27:56.000 I could be a little, I think it was Professor Ferguson actually that came out with it, an epidemiologist from the United Kingdom.
00:28:02.000 And so it's not just American campuses, it's Western campuses, if you count the United Kingdom as well.
00:28:07.000 But ours are actually worse in some ways.
00:28:10.000 Colleges are hyper-ideological.
00:28:13.000 You cannot survive and thrive in the world while being ideological and ignoring what is happening materially around you.
00:28:23.000 Where do you think the communists targeted first?
00:28:26.000 The Marxists.
00:28:27.000 They targeted the universities.
00:28:29.000 Remember, Yuri Besminov, who was a communist defector and found asylum in Canada, warned us about this.
00:28:36.000 They play off their egos.
00:28:38.000 He calls them useful idiots.
00:28:40.000 And that sort of theory has been built out by people like Pete Hegseth and Dinesh D'Souza.
00:28:45.000 What my book does a little bit differently than the college scam is it has action points that you got to stop sending your kids there and stop going.
00:28:51.000 It's also unnecessary in a career standpoint, but it's from a societal standpoint.
00:28:57.000 The university itself is the problem.
00:29:01.000 Speaking of a useful idiot, listen to Kamala Harris, cut 12, who now says the following, play cut 12.
00:29:07.000 And, you know, listen, women are getting pregnant every day in America, and this is a real issue.
00:29:13.000 And we need to act with a sense of haste about what is at play, what is at stake.
00:29:18.000 And codifying Roe will be an important moment in terms of putting back in place protections for the folks who are at risk right now because of what the court did in Dodd.
00:29:31.000 And that place is the American University and College campus.
00:29:37.000 Now, I know this is a very difficult thing for people to stomach.
00:29:41.000 I understand it could be an impossible pill to swallow.
00:29:46.000 But the American University has been infected top to bottom with a contagion.
00:29:53.000 And I'll tell you what that is.
00:29:55.000 I want to go to another piece of tape here.
00:29:58.000 So as we talk about this college system and the damage it is doing to society, we must understand how it infects every portion of American life.
00:30:08.000 For example, only the college educated, only the people that have doctorate degrees could all tell you to go get vaccinated.
00:30:17.000 While it turns out they all end up getting contracted COVID.
00:30:20.000 I want to play one of my favorite pieces of tape that I've seen recently, Play Cut 8.
00:30:25.000 You're okay.
00:30:27.000 You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.
00:30:30.000 Hey, folks, I guess you heard this morning I tested positive COVID.
00:30:34.000 And when people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not going to get infected.
00:30:38.000 Dr. Fauci says he has COVID again.
00:30:42.000 If you've done the right thing and gotten vaccinated, you deserve the freedom to be safe from COVID-19.
00:30:48.000 And this morning, I learned I tested positive for COVID-19 as well.
00:30:55.000 It's one of the great videos I've ever seen.
00:30:57.000 And I just love the background music.
00:31:00.000 Another one bites the dust.
00:31:01.000 This is perfect with Justin Trudeau and Biden and Fauci saying, you must get vaccinated.
00:31:06.000 And they all end up getting COVID.
00:31:11.000 COVID response coordinator Ajish Jah, this virus is going to be with us forever.
00:31:15.000 Remember, they need a crisis.
00:31:18.000 An emergency is necessary for them to hold on to their power.
00:31:24.000 If the emergency ends, then all of a sudden power gets decentralized.
00:31:28.000 So you have to think of this kind of as a, let's say you have a bunch of, you know, straws or spaghetti.
00:31:37.000 And they're all about when power is centralized, you must have it all kind of in your fist, an emergency, the clenched fist, if you will.
00:31:46.000 But if things are not emergency, you kind of release the grip and it all goes in their own way and it's decentralized.
00:31:51.000 That's just a good visual to think about it.
00:31:53.000 They need the clenched fist.
00:31:55.000 They need the hold on all of society.
00:31:59.000 Play cut two.
00:32:01.000 What we're seeing across the country is there are a lot of infections, but when people are vaccinated and boosted, they tend to have far less serious illness.
00:32:12.000 This virus is going to be with us forever.
00:32:15.000 This virus is going to be with us forever.
00:32:17.000 But that's a different thing than what they told us previously.
00:32:20.000 Remember, the regime needs emergency powers to maintain in power.
00:32:25.000 They need emergencies to maintain power, I should say.
00:32:29.000 All of these roads that we're seeing, medical tyranny, great reset, open borders, are given credibility through the seemingly endless journals philosophizing and writing from the academic industrial complex.
00:32:47.000 I write about this at great length in the college scam.
00:32:50.000 I talk about the tenets of critical race theory as well.
00:32:52.000 On page 174, I talk about the basic tenets and themes of critical race theory.
00:32:58.000 CRT claims that racism is present in every aspect of society, and therefore society can only be transformed by a race-conscious approach, not a colorblind approach.
00:33:08.000 I go on to say how you could take a stand against CRT.
00:33:11.000 I go deep into the essence and the roots of it.
00:33:16.000 It's in the chapter Woke and Weaponized in my book, College Scam.
00:33:21.000 Talk about Derek Bell and the totalitarian mindset and how it impacts your children.
00:33:28.000 Check it out right now, college scam.com.
00:33:30.000 Support Turning Point USA while getting the book.
00:33:33.000 It's a great, basically two-for-one offer.
00:33:35.000 You get the book at collegescam.com, and then the proceeds go to make sure more kids get to hear the message of liberty and freedom in the Constitution.
00:33:47.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:48.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:51.000 Thank you so much for listening.
