00:02:06.000 So I was looking at the news cycle, trying to figure out where we were going to go with this today because there's so much happening.

00:02:14.000 But I saw a very interesting poll that shows that Joe Biden has a 62% approval rating.

00:02:22.000 62%.

00:02:24.000 With the border wide open, businesses still closed. 1.00

00:02:28.000 China is taking over the world. 1.00

00:02:31.000 Millions of people are out of work.

00:02:34.000 And yet, according to this poll, 62% of Americans approve of Joe Biden's job performance.

00:02:40.000 Now, we know that polls can't be trusted.

00:02:42.000 Let's pretend it's 50%.

00:02:44.000 That is still high.

00:02:45.000 In fact, that is higher than almost any poll that Donald Trump had throughout his entire presidency.

00:02:52.000 We have described this as the lullaby presidency.

00:02:56.000 That the media is trying to have you go to sleep, watch Netflix Hulu, disengage from politics while the great plunder of American society ensues.

00:03:08.000 And so I want to get into the crisis on the border.

00:03:11.000 We're going to get into how critical race theory has taken over Texas schools, Loudoun County schools.

00:03:18.000 But there's something that is happening in the country right now, and there's three examples of this.

00:03:24.000 That is terrifying.

00:03:28.000 And we all know that this should not be happening.

00:03:33.000 And because of our belief in our country and our patriotic spirit, we've almost been hesitant to call it out.

00:03:43.000 And so when I was in Israel a couple years ago, I've been to Israel twice.

00:03:49.000 If you've never been to Israel, you absolutely should go.

00:03:52.000 It puts the Bible in technicolor.

00:03:55.000 I remember the second time I visited Israel, I went to the Golan Heights.

00:03:59.000 And the Golad Heights is right near Syria.

00:04:01.000 It's in the northeast corner of Israel.

00:04:05.000 When you walk some streets in Israel, it's very customary, it's normal to see IDF, Israeli Defense Force soldiers, walking the streets with fully automatic weapons.

00:04:20.000 And I remember asking our tour guide, who was an IDF soldier himself, Amit, very good guy, friend of mine.

00:04:28.000 Why is it that it's necessary for the IDF soldiers to walk the streets with fully automatic weapons?

00:04:37.000 He said, well, the first reason is psychological, because we want everyone in Israel to know that war could break out at any moment.

00:04:45.000 We want every person in Israel to have the reminder that we were almost taken over in the Six-Day War or the Yom Kippur War. 0.84

00:04:52.000 It's almost a psychological, in-your-face reminder that we might not be firing bullets, we might not be under mortar fire, but we're actually still at war, a quiet, soft war with all of our Arab neighbors. 0.84

00:05:06.000 I thought that to be very interesting.

00:05:08.000 And then Amit said to me, he said, Charlie, one of the things I love about America is that you guys don't have to have this.

00:05:15.000 He said, it's necessary for Israel because of where we're located.

00:05:19.000 It's necessary because of all of our enemies. 0.71

00:05:21.000 It's necessary because of the way of life we're trying to protect and preserve in a sea of tyranny.

00:05:27.000 He said, but in America, I love the fact that you do not have members of your military walking the streets.

00:05:36.000 I thought to myself, that is kind of a positive about America. 0.96

00:05:41.000 And then I remember my tour guide being an IDF soldier, Amit, again said, Charlie, it's also a warning to the Arab enemies that might work in the West Bank and they come through on guest or work visas and they travel in and out. 1.00

00:06:02.000 It's a warning to them that if they attack Israel, we're going to punch back twice as hard. 0.90

00:06:09.000 I thought to myself, that is a different way of life than what we have grown accustomed to in America. 0.78

00:06:19.000 And Amit fully admitted that the IDF and the Israeli Defense Force and that sort of civilian military culture comes at a price.

00:06:29.000 And that price is that you must have a military mindset take over at everything you do.

00:06:35.000 That it's not a typical Western liberty mindset, but it is we are surrounded by enemies.

00:06:43.000 We must be willing to do whatever it takes to defend our way of life and our culture. 0.90

00:06:46.000 And for Israel, they have no choice. 0.99

00:06:51.000 And that experience left an imprint on me.

00:06:57.000 And so now, since Joe Biden has become president, there are three examples that are so disturbing, so terrifying, and so troubling.

00:07:08.000 And no one seems to be talking about this, Tucker Carlson being the only exception.

00:07:12.000 Number one, the Capitol is still under perpetual military occupation.

00:07:18.000 You cannot visit your congressional leaders while they're spending trillions of dollars, while they are mortgaging future generations, while they are passing HR5, HR1.

00:07:28.000 You cannot visit them and tell them your thoughts on pieces of legislation without going through a South North Korea equivalent of the demilitarized zone.

00:07:41.000 If you go look at the Capitol today, it looks as if we are bracing for a war of 1812 equivalent of a foreign enemy about to storm our capital.

00:07:56.000 That's number one.

00:07:57.000 Number two, as we covered a couple days ago, the Department of Defense singled out and targeted a talk show host, Tucker Carlson, because they did not like his remarks or his comments when it came to pregnant women in the military.

00:08:17.000 The Department of Defense, which is supposed to be about defending the Constitution, they swear an oath of the Constitution. and never engaging in domestic or civil disputes, offered multiple press releases and did multiple PR stunts against a domestic talk show host.

00:08:40.000 Not a foreign military leader, not a dictator from afar, not Kim Jong-un, not North Korea, not China, not Iran.

00:08:50.000 No, the United States military decided to use their taxpayer-funded communication arm to go after an American talk show host.

00:09:00.000 And the third example happened just a couple days ago, which was glamorized and written up positively by Huffington Post and BuzzFeed, and you probably didn't even see this article.

00:09:10.000 You didn't even see this story.

00:09:12.000 And it was supposed to be a kind of an internet stunt using the United States military. 0.53

00:09:21.000 So Marjorie Taylor Greene wrongly called Guam a foreign land.

00:09:27.000 It's a U.S. territory.

00:09:27.000 It's not.

00:09:29.000 She made a mistake.

00:09:30.000 Everyone makes mistakes.

00:09:32.000 When Hank Johnson said that Guam was going to tip over because of troop deployments, no one did this.

00:09:39.000 They didn't send troops to his office.

00:09:43.000 And so Marjorie Taylor Greene wrongly says that.

00:09:47.000 And then somebody somewhere, all of a sudden, as a PR stunt, sent National Guard members to her office from Guam to send a message, play tape.

00:10:09.000 There is dozens of National Guard members from Guam with dramatic music marching towards a duly elected, constitutionally sworn in officer of the United States, Marjorie Taylor Greene, with this dramatic music, kind of doing the social media stunt as if this is what our United States military is for, is going after a United States Congresswoman.

00:10:32.000 Enough of that tape.

00:10:33.000 Thank you.

00:10:35.000 So we have Tucker Carlson being targeted by the DOD.

00:10:37.000 We have our capital under military occupation.

00:10:40.000 And we have a congresswoman that is being flooded with military members from Guam.

00:10:47.000 We are living under a soft military junta.

00:10:55.000 You never thought the Chinese coronavirus could cost you your home, right?

00:10:58.000 It might be because cybercrime is up 75%.

00:11:01.000 And by far the most serious cybercrime to worry about is home title theft.

00:11:05.000 Cybercrimes, foreign and domestic, are now after our homes, and it's easier than you might think.

00:11:05.000 That's right.

00:11:10.000 The title documents to our homes are all online.

00:11:12.000 The thief finds your home's title, forges your signature on a quick claim deed, and next thing you know, you've sold your home to him.

00:11:19.000 Then he takes out loans on your home and leaves you in debt.

00:11:22.000 You won't know until the late payment or eviction notices arrive.

00:11:25.000 Insurance doesn't cover you and neither do common identity theft programs.

00:11:29.000 That's why I protect my home with home title lock.

00:11:31.000 The instant home title lock detects someone tampering with my home's title.

00:11:34.000 They shut it down.

00:11:35.000 Go to hometitalock.com and register your address to see if you're already a victim.

00:11:40.000 And then use the code radio to receive 30 free days of protection.

00:11:42.000 That's code radio at home titlelock.com, home, titlelock.com.

00:11:50.000 The military is now being used as a political, I don't want to say weapon, but it's very close to weapon.

00:12:00.000 It's being used as a political posturing PR tool for the Democrat Party.

00:12:07.000 The military, by definition, is not just supposed to be apolitical.

00:12:12.000 It's supposed to be patriotic and country-focused, first and foremost.

00:12:17.000 And so while there are so many different stories happening in the country, the one that is disturbing that we must have every single Republican leader talk about are these three things.

00:12:31.000 Number one, why is the Capitol still under perpetual military occupation?

00:12:36.000 Number two, why did the Department of Defense target a talk show host?

00:12:40.000 Number three, who ordered, under what authority, the military and the National Guard to go pay a visit in a PR stunt against Congresswoman Greene from Georgia.

00:12:53.000 You see, what's really going on here is a psychological operation by the Democrats.

00:12:58.000 They know exactly what they're doing.

00:12:59.000 And it's similar to what I learned in Israel.

00:13:04.000 It's similar to exactly what my friend Amit told me when we were in the West Bank, when we were in Judea and Samaria, when we were in the Golan Heights.

00:13:13.000 And it's that if you want to send a clear message to your political opponents, show them that we have more force than you do.

00:13:22.000 Show them that we're in control and that you aren't.

00:13:26.000 And that's exactly what they are doing.

00:13:28.000 And it's ironic because the social justice warrior activists and the leftists for so long, they have told us that they are skeptical of the militarization of our police.

00:13:44.000 They've told us that they want to defund the police, when in reality, they just want to be in control.

00:13:52.000 They want to be the ones waving their hands while the military parade goes in front of them so they can deploy it at their will.

00:14:02.000 A country that feels as if you're perpetually at conflict with each other is much easier to command and more willing to obey.

00:14:15.000 The Democrat Party wants to intimidate you.

00:14:18.000 They want to intimidate all of us to never have another public rally again.

00:14:23.000 They want to intimidate us to not speak out against their unilateral power grab in our country with almost a menacing type approach to citizen dialogue.

00:14:37.000 And this is a new development.

00:14:39.000 This would not have happened 20 or 30 years ago.

00:14:44.000 Those three sequence of events should be a fire alarm.

00:14:48.000 It should be a siren for every Republican in the country right now.

00:14:53.000 And yet I don't see most Republicans understanding the looming threat as simply as I can possibly put it.

00:15:04.000 It is dangerous.

00:15:07.000 And it is not just disappointing, but it is an existential threat that the American Democrats and the left control Google and Facebook and Twitter, academia, the civil service, our corporations, Hollywood.

00:15:21.000 But the fact that the military, which a friend of mine from Chicago just emailed us at freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:15:28.000 He said, Charlie, the military was the only institution I trusted.

00:15:31.000 And let me be very clear.

00:15:33.000 There are millions of wonderful patriotic members of the military that love their country above everything else and they're willing to sacrifice for it.

00:15:42.000 Unfortunately, they are being used as political pawns and as intimidation tools by the Democrat Party.

00:15:51.000 You see, the Democrats are trying to remake America in their image.

00:15:54.000 They want to have DCB a state universal vote by mail, HR1, fundamentally change our religious liberty laws, Equality Act, and grab our guns.

00:16:05.000 The only way they will be able to get that done is if they restrict dissent.

00:16:10.000 You see, dissent only happens when you're able to have dialogue, which is only able to happen when people feel confident enough to speak.

00:16:21.000 And whether you realize it or not, one of the main reasons why it seems as if conservatives have been quieter in the last couple months than usual, it's because subconsciously, there is that image of a masked man in a turret in front of the Capitol saying, if you dare speak out against us, we have the guns and you don't.

00:16:48.000 That's the message that they're sending.

00:16:50.000 They're sending the message that if you dare speak out against us, Marjorie Taylor Greene, you're going to get visited by National Guard members.

00:16:58.000 If you call out anything we don't like, Tucker Carlson, the Department of Defense is going to send out a press release against you.

00:17:08.000 If you're a college basketball fan, the NCAA tournament, March Madness is your favorite time of year.

00:17:13.000 Game-winning buzzer beater shots, Cinderella programs knocking out dynasty programs.

00:17:18.000 March Madness is known for drama, and I love every minute of it.

00:17:22.000 In recent years, one of the little-known inspiring March Madness stories was the rise of UConn's basketball program under Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun.

00:17:31.000 Born to Lead is the newest film on Salem Now showcasing Jim Calhoun's and University of Connecticut's story.

00:17:39.000 From losing his father at a young age, instantaneously becoming the man of his family as a teenager, to his rise to the coaching ranks and eventually leading UConn to three national championships, Boring to Lead features interviews from Mike Shaszzewski, Jim Bayheim, former UConn and NBA superstars Rick Hamilton and Ray Allen.

00:17:57.000 Get ready for March Madness by watching Born to Lead, available now at salemnow.com.

00:18:02.000 That's born to lead at salemnow.com and use the promo code Kirk for additional savings.

00:18:11.000 How do you make a citizenry that is used to being able to speak its mind obey?

00:18:17.000 You intimidate them.

00:18:19.000 You put on a menacing aesthetic.

00:18:23.000 You single out the dissidents.

00:18:26.000 You publicly humiliate them.

00:18:31.000 You see, this pattern has already been happening for the last couple of years.

00:18:36.000 This idea of singling out people that say things that they do not like is nothing new.

00:18:45.000 One of the guiding beliefs and truths that we have here on the Charlie Kirk show is what happens on college campuses does not stay on college campuses.

00:18:56.000 It will export itself and then manifest itself in many different ways.

00:19:02.000 We are seeing now what's happening at the United States military is very similar to tactics that were used at Harvard University, Stanford, UC Berkeley in the last couple of years.

00:19:14.000 All the way in the highest levels of the United States military.

00:19:18.000 I got a terrific email yesterday from a veteran who said he didn't exactly agree with some of our analysis earlier in the week when it came to pregnant women in the military, but he was very thoughtful about it and very respectful.

00:19:32.000 But he made a very good point.

00:19:35.000 He made a point that in the United States military, the reason why it's becoming so liberal, so woke, so social justice oriented, is that the people who are making the decisions, the officers, almost all of them have been college educated.

00:19:52.000 Is that the officers, the ones that are making the consequential decisions in the military, they have graduated from these indoctrination factories?

00:20:00.000 Few of them have actually seen legitimate combat, and they have very, very few of them actually started as being enlisted members of the military and then working their ways up, their way up.

00:20:15.000 And so you start to see this throughout every level of the ultimate force that our country has.

00:20:24.000 Where are the Republicans speaking out against this?

00:20:28.000 You see, Republicans are very quick to go send out a press release saying they want to go repeal the estate tax, which is, okay, we want billionaires to pay less in tax.

00:20:38.000 I'm all for that.

00:20:41.000 Republicans are trying to pass a massive amnesty bill.

00:20:44.000 That's Senator Rick Scott.

00:20:45.000 Republicans are trying to pass a gun-grabbing gun confiscation bill.

00:20:51.000 But this is not policy.

00:20:54.000 This is not even a piece of legislation.

00:20:56.000 What's happening here is a slow, yet and subtle, not just an agenda, but a campaign to show the rest of the country that if you speak out in a certain way, we are going to come after you using the ultimate level of force imaginable.

00:21:26.000 You see, this entire belief is rooted in totalitarianism.

00:21:33.000 Donald Trump completely changed the game.

00:21:36.000 He changed the game in many different ways, but he was such a different type of leader.

00:21:43.000 He called out the plunder and the fraud and the theft of the ruling class in such broad, vivid, transparent, and public terms that the Democrats have permanently lost patience.

00:22:01.000 They never want to be out of power again.

00:22:05.000 They're not going to be out of power again in their own political calculus.

00:22:09.000 So now they are resorting to medieval-style 20th-century dictator tactics.

00:22:16.000 We take over the United States military and we use it as an intimidation force against American conservatives.

00:22:26.000 So what can you possibly do about this?

00:22:29.000 Well, number one, hopefully your representatives, your congresspeople, and your senators can start to realize what's actually happening here.

00:22:39.000 You see, after the FBI spied on Donald Trump, they launched a soft coup against Trump.

00:22:45.000 The Department of Justice spied on Cheryl Atkinson, which never got any coverage.

00:22:52.000 Andrew McCabe, James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, they all got off on all of it.

00:23:00.000 The highest levels of our Justice Department were weaponized against Donald Trump and his movement.

00:23:08.000 We know what they're willing to do on that front.

00:23:11.000 We now see what they're willing to do with the military.

00:23:16.000 You see, Democrats view everything that they control as an extension of their long-term power goals.

00:23:25.000 Conservatives, to our credit, we tend to be much more fair-minded and skeptical about using power for our own political purposes.

00:23:34.000 This is why it's so disappointing to see certain Republicans want to all of a sudden pass massive gun control legislation.

00:23:42.000 So the first thing that can be done is we have to get much noisier.

00:23:47.000 It's my first complaint.

00:23:50.000 You see, I got my start in the Tea Party movement.

00:23:53.000 I was a sophomore in high school when I started to see inspiring stories of patriotic Americans take to the streets, plan rallies, mobilize pent-up frustration.

00:24:10.000 Andrew Breitbart, the great Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, they led a voice to all of this.

00:24:17.000 It was a noisy, patriot, focused movement.

00:24:25.000 And everything that you're seeing right now, whether you realize it or not, from Marjorie Taylor Greene getting visited by the National Guard members, which, just so you were clear, is so unprecedented and outrageous, it's hard for me to even tell you the significance of that.

00:24:43.000 That a congresswoman gets visited by National Guard members for a PR internet stunt.

00:24:53.000 Whoa.

00:24:53.000 If that's not a muscle flex saying, hey, we have the guns and you don't, sit down, obey, and shut up, I don't know what is.

00:25:02.000 To Tucker Carlson and the DOD, to the permanent occupation of our capital.

00:25:11.000 All of that ties in to a broader goal and objective, which is they learned their lesson from 2010.

00:25:22.000 They do not want another Tea Party movement.

00:25:25.000 The Democrats plan right now is we're going to have universal vote by mail, register all the prisoners to vote, get everyone on the voter rolls, illegal or not, a ballot, fund it all with the U.S. taxpayer.

00:25:39.000 And then we are going to intimidate the entire country through humiliation, through forced obedience, to vote for us.

00:25:48.000 And the people that don't, and the people that speak out like Tucker Carlson, like this program right here, we are going to make them miserable in every way possible.

00:26:00.000 We have to get noisier.

00:26:03.000 This is the quietest I have ever seen the conservative movement since I got my start 11 years ago.

00:26:09.000 There is not enough outrage out there.

00:26:11.000 And I'm not one just to say that we should have outrage for no reason.

00:26:15.000 I understand that people right now are a little bit depressed.

00:26:20.000 I understand that people right now are a little bit uncertain about the next proper course of action.

00:26:27.000 I understand all of that.

00:26:31.000 But when you have the military, you have H.R. 1 being passed, and the best we can do is send out a couple angry tweets, we need to start mass mobilizations, peaceful, of course, to show our disdain and disgust for all of this.

00:26:55.000 And one positive amongst this entire trend is what's happening in California.

00:27:03.000 More of what's happening in California.

00:27:06.000 Governor Gavin Newsom, in one of the most liberal states in the country, the largest state in the country, is likely going to face a recall.

00:27:15.000 Over 2 million people have signed the petition.

00:27:17.000 They needed 1.5 million signatures.

00:27:20.000 He's already saying that white supremacists are behind it and it's a Republican recall.

00:27:24.000 He's saying all the things that we would anticipate him to say.

00:27:29.000 But God bless the California conservatives, many of whom I know, that are not giving up and they are playing offense against an incumbent Democrat power structure.

00:27:44.000 That's exactly what we need to do.

00:27:47.000 California is leading the way right now.

00:27:50.000 We have never seen this level of infringement of our freedoms and liberties as we have seen today.

00:28:01.000 And the military component is not just troubling.

00:28:04.000 It's not just worrisome.

00:28:06.000 It is a game changer.

00:28:08.000 It shows that they are willing to use maximum ultimate totalitarian dictator-style force.

00:28:14.000 It's just a matter of when, not if.

00:28:19.000 Mobilize the National Guard from Guam to go visit Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:28:24.000 Could you imagine if Donald Trump mobilized the National Guard to go visit Nancy Pelosi or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

00:28:34.000 It would be the front page of the New York Times.

00:28:35.000 You know what's on the front page of the New York Times?

00:28:38.000 The key to safe classrooms, open the windows.

00:28:41.000 Oh, really?

00:28:42.000 So we could have opened the schools if we just opened the windows last May.

00:28:45.000 That's the front page of the New York Times today.

00:28:49.000 Not the fact that our capital is under perpetual occupation.

00:28:53.000 Could you imagine if Donald Trump called in the national military after the BLM Incorporated insurrection riots that legitimately happened in Portland when he called federal agents into Portland?

00:29:07.000 They were called jack-booted thugs and they were told to leave immediately.

00:29:11.000 What's the difference?

00:29:13.000 Well, there is no difference.

00:29:14.000 Democrats haven't changed their mind.

00:29:16.000 The only difference is that they're the ones on the balcony in the military parade and we're the ones that are afraid in our basements that the military is going to come knocking on the door, intimidate us, and tell us to obey.

00:29:28.000 And that is not an exaggeration.

00:29:30.000 This moment right now, this is still in flux.

00:29:34.000 This has not been made permanent.

00:29:37.000 And I can't say this any more clearly.

00:29:40.000 If we do not speak out right now, history tells us what comes next is really bad.

00:29:48.000 The Democrats have convinced themselves that they're just not on the moral high ground.

00:29:54.000 But the use of the United States military, the use of ultimate force, the use of the people that can send tomahawk missiles halfway across the planet, the people that have the keys to the nuclear weapons, the people that have B-52 bombers, the people that have unmanned drone reconnaissance, they're the ones that are now the enforcement arm of the Democrat Party.

00:30:12.000 Forget Antifa.

00:30:13.000 They have the Marines.

00:30:15.000 And if we do not speak out against it right now, the Praetorian Guard will come for you next.

00:30:23.000 Who is in charge in this country?

00:30:25.000 Is it the citizens or is it the rulers?

00:30:29.000 It's supposed to be the citizens.

00:30:31.000 It's supposed to be the people, the sovereign.

00:30:34.000 On a local level, it's supposed to be the taxpayers.

00:30:36.000 And for the education of our children, education comes from a Latin term to lead forth.

00:30:45.000 It's supposed to be parents.

00:30:47.000 Parents are supposed to lead forth their children.

00:30:51.000 Well, as the military is engaging in a psychological operation to tell you to sit down and shut up, the real damage that's happening long term is what's happening with critical race theory in our schools.

00:31:03.000 We broke on our program last week.

00:31:06.000 What's happening in the suburbs of Chicago, where I grew up.

00:31:09.000 We broke that in Naperville, Illinois, which used to be a Republican collar county, which is now a far left-wing place.

00:31:17.000 Naperville School District 203, they brought in a bigot, Dina Simmons, to teach all the white kids in the school district that they're racist just for being white, which is an incredibly racist thing to teach.

00:31:32.000 In response to this, Dan Bridges, who is the superintendent of Naperville School District 203, quadrupled down.

00:31:40.000 And he says, we will not be intimidated in our school district by parents telling us what to do.

00:31:48.000 And he said that we will not tolerate hateful comments and threats.

00:31:53.000 No one is threatening you.

00:31:55.000 And if they are, it's a very isolated example.

00:31:57.000 I guarantee you, the parents of Naperville 203 are not threatening you, okay?

00:32:02.000 While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, threats to the safety of our staff and presenters will never be tolerated.

00:32:06.000 This is exactly the same playbook that Pelosi and the National Guard deploying Democrats are using.

00:32:13.000 Don't actually talk about the issue and say that you're constantly under threat.

00:32:17.000 Well, guess what?

00:32:18.000 We all get death threats.

00:32:20.000 It's part of the game.

00:32:21.000 I don't endorse it.

00:32:22.000 I get plenty of them.

00:32:24.000 Don't use that as a reason not to have a debate or an argument.

00:32:27.000 Instead, Dan Bridges basically has said that, who's the head of Naperville Schools, District 203, that critical race theory is going to be the norm of curriculum in the suburbs of Chicago.

00:32:40.000 That politics is now going to be all within this teaching of our kids at Naperville North High School and all of the formerly great schools in the suburbs of Chicago.

00:32:51.000 Critical race theory is being implemented in every major school system in the country.

00:32:56.000 And I understand why parents are not fighting back.

00:33:00.000 It goes back to what I talked about all throughout the hour.

00:33:02.000 The Democrats are flexing their political muscle.

00:33:07.000 They are showing you and telling you in more ways than one, we're in charge, you aren't. 0.68

00:33:12.000 And if you cross the Rubicon, if you cross the line, we will destroy you. 0.99

00:33:17.000 We will demolish you. 1.00

00:33:18.000 We will punish you. 1.00

00:33:19.000 We will humiliate you. 0.99

00:33:20.000 And that threat is very real.

00:33:24.000 We call this cancel culture, but it's more than that. 0.80

00:33:27.000 This is junta culture.

00:33:30.000 This is, we have the tanks, we have the drones, both literally with the U.S. military and figuratively and metaphorically. 0.79

00:33:38.000 We control what companies can hire your children.

00:33:42.000 We control what social media companies you can go on.

00:33:44.000 We control what platforms you can consume information.

00:33:47.000 And if you cross this line, you might not have a drone that will shoot a missile at you, but you might lose your Facebook page.

00:33:58.000 You might not have a member of the U.S. military knock down your door yet, but your child might not get into college.

00:34:09.000 And that entire culture of fear, intimidation, the psychology behind it, is what's driving the entire body politic in our country right now.

00:34:19.000 The fear of discourse, the fear of dialogue, and they have all of us in a place of submission.

00:34:24.000 Let me tell you the greatest compliment and the most depressing compliment I get every day.

00:34:28.000 Charlie, thank you for saying what I cannot say.

00:34:33.000 It's wonderful to hear.

00:34:34.000 It's also depressing to hear.

00:34:36.000 Why can't you say this?

00:34:39.000 It's because metaphorically, the military represents, and also literally, what's happening in the country.

00:34:47.000 We're in charge.

00:34:48.000 We occupy the country.

00:34:50.000 And there is a soft totalitarianism to all of it.

00:34:53.000 So what do we do about it?

00:34:55.000 We're going to build that out even more, but it's very simple.

00:34:58.000 Until you have courage and you're willing to make noise and sacrifice for this, they will have won.

00:35:05.000 It's that simple.
