The Charlie Kirk Show - The DNC Is About To Devour Itself ft. Alex Marlow and Savannah Hernandez

00:00:00.000 Hello, everyone, and welcome to The Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:02.000 I'm Alexander Marlowe, Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart News, and I'm in for Charlie today.

00:00:06.000 We start the show with a breakdown of the presidential race, and I recount some details of my sit-down with Donald Trump from last week, before we're joined by Savannah Hernandez from Turning Point USA Frontlines for a preview of next week's DNC in Chicago, It is going to be absolutely wild, and you're not going to want to miss these details.

00:00:23.000 As always, please subscribe to the show, leave some great reviews.

00:00:26.000 It's an incredible show that I listen to all the time.

00:00:28.000 I wholeheartedly endorse it, and also it helps our friend Charlie out as well.

00:00:33.000 So buckle up, everybody.

00:00:34.000 Here we go.

00:00:35.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:37.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:39.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:43.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:46.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:47.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:48.000 His spirit, his love of this country.

00:00:50.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:00:56.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:05.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:29.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.

00:01:34.000 I want to get into what is actually going on in this country.

00:01:37.000 That's the question I get asked the most when people say, run into me on the street or see me in an interview, etc.

00:01:43.000 What do you think is really going on?

00:01:45.000 Because we're seeing all this enthusiasm happening for Kamala Harris and this new Democrat ticket.

00:01:51.000 But what's the reality in America?

00:01:53.000 The reality is not that great.

00:01:54.000 We got some new Consumer Price Index data today.

00:01:58.000 This is the inflation data that's perhaps the most important to check.

00:02:01.000 Check this out.

00:02:02.000 We've got food inflation is up.

00:02:04.000 It's a big deal.

00:02:06.000 Rent inflation is up.

00:02:08.000 Home Depot just put out a warning that people are not doing as many home renovation projects.

00:02:14.000 So it doesn't sound like things are thriving.

00:02:16.000 A core CPI, which excludes food and energy, another big detail that we cover, Breitbart.

00:02:22.000 3.2% year-over-year rise.

00:02:23.000 It's nearly double what we had under President Trump.

00:02:25.000 And yet, We're being told that everything is going so great, we can just focus on the Kamala Harris coronation.

00:02:33.000 You go to some of my favorite publications, like the Daily Mail, Lead Story This Morning, is Trump is just in disarray.

00:02:40.000 Everyone is upset with various members of the campaign.

00:02:43.000 There's huge infighting.

00:02:45.000 Everyone thinks J.D.

00:02:45.000 Vance was a bad pick.

00:02:46.000 But you read the article, and the only main source in it is Anthony Scaramucci, the mooch, the mooch is back, and he's trash-talking, and that's getting lead headlines. 0.90

00:02:56.000 The media is whipped up in a frenzy over the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket, but the reality just does not seem to be there, because Trump is winning in the Daily Mail's own poll by two points.

00:03:07.000 So what really is the story of this election?

00:03:09.000 Everything that I'm seeing so far indicates that that story is the white working-class voter, and you don't have to take my word for it.

00:03:17.000 You can take CNN's word for it.

00:03:19.000 What CNN is saying Is that overall, Harris is making huge strides with the white working class.

00:03:25.000 Now, do any of you believe this?

00:03:27.000 Given the immigration, given the open borders, given the fact that she's been soft on crime, given the fact that thanks to her and Joe Biden's watch, we had fentanyl streaming over our border and ravaging these communities, given the fact that their globalist policies are what outsourced American jobs overseas, cleared out all those factories, Cleared out so many of our energy states so that we could buy oil from other places around the world, sending our strategic oil reserves to places like China.

00:03:54.000 Do you think the people who've been affected by that are actually moving in the direction of the most radical ticket of all time?

00:04:00.000 Now, I personally don't.

00:04:02.000 It doesn't mean we should rest on our laurels and become poll truthers.

00:04:06.000 But when you're seeing the most radical ticket we've ever seen, when we said Kamala Harris, arguably the most left-wing candidate ever, And then she picks a more left-wing vice president on the ticket with her, then how do you expect that the white working class are going to be the people who are going to stand up and deliver this election for her?

00:04:24.000 I'm just not believing it for a second.

00:04:27.000 So I spent a fair bit of time with President Trump last week, and it's always really interesting to see what's on his mind.

00:04:32.000 As you might imagine, when you do interviews with President Trump, he's the alpha in the room, so he controls a lot of the conversation.

00:04:39.000 But of course I'm going to ask him, what's the strategy?

00:04:41.000 The race has changed. 0.97

00:04:43.000 You were going to cakewalk with Joe Biden in there.

00:04:45.000 Let's be honest, he was.

00:04:47.000 Joe Biden's jaw was falling out of his head during the debates.

00:04:50.000 So how do you take on a young, vibrant candidate who has got energy, even though she did a terrible record?

00:04:56.000 And he just basically said, we're going to focus on the record.

00:04:58.000 We're just going to hammer it.

00:04:59.000 She fundraised to bail out rioters.

00:05:01.000 She's never been popular.

00:05:03.000 She's someone who wants soft on crime policing, open borders, He even says she's against Christmas.

00:05:09.000 She's come out against Christmas.

00:05:11.000 So we'll be expanding on that at Breitbart.com in the next couple of days.

00:05:15.000 But what's noteworthy is that Trump feels like the key to winning is a record.

00:05:20.000 And what is her record?

00:05:21.000 It's almost nothing.

00:05:22.000 The only economic record that we know of her is that she was the tie-breaking vote in things like Build Back Better, which became the Inflation Reduction Act.

00:05:31.000 In that act, what she did, and all the Democrats, She wanted more IRS agents, tens of thousands of them, to do things like producing taxation on tips. 1.00

00:05:43.000 Now Trump says we're not going to tax tips, and all of a sudden she thinks, hey, that's a great idea.

00:05:46.000 I'll take that idea.

00:05:47.000 No taxation on tips.

00:05:49.000 But it is a completely plagiarized idea from Donald Trump, and it's one that her recent voting records suggest she's got the opposite opinion.

00:05:58.000 So she's very vulnerable on issues like the fact that she was someone who benefited from affirmative action, was someone who is the anointed candidate of the donors, has never received a single delegate in a Democrat primary.

00:06:10.000 All of that stuff is a big deal.

00:06:12.000 Remember, she was a close ally of Google and Facebook, someone who was helpful to them protecting their own monopolies.

00:06:21.000 And she worked very hard to undo the work that President Trump did at the border.

00:06:25.000 All these are crucial.

00:06:26.000 But it's really hammering those key things, hammering those key points about a record—open borders, soft on crime, the tampon Tim, tampons in the boys' room.

00:06:37.000 This is how Trump is going to win the election, at least according to him.

00:06:40.000 But is that going to be enough with the media doing what they're doing, which is acting as though she's the chosen one, she's got all the momentum, and Trump's campaign is in disarray, even though things seemed kind of calm while I was over there?

00:06:52.000 Now, I'm not a deep insider in Trump world.

00:06:55.000 I'll tell you, everyone seems like they're doing pretty good.

00:06:57.000 And all this media hype that they don't like the J.D.

00:07:00.000 Vance pick, everyone seems to love the J.D.

00:07:01.000 Vance pick.

00:07:02.000 And I'll tell you where they're really going to love it.

00:07:04.000 They're going to love it when J.D.

00:07:05.000 goes out to some of these shutter factories, which he will do.

00:07:08.000 And he's going to go out to some of these places in rural America that have been ravaged and devastated by the Biden-Harris administration policies.

00:07:15.000 They're also going to love him when he finally gets into a debate with Tim Walz.

00:07:19.000 So Tim Walz, as you guys might know, the left-wing guy, and he's playing to these working class sort of hillbilly but lib attitudes.

00:07:30.000 The public is going to see through that.

00:07:32.000 He's got strong ties to China, stronger ties than Joe Biden does.

00:07:37.000 Recall that he said his wedding date on the fifth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre.

00:07:42.000 His company has deep ties to the CCP.

00:07:45.000 CCP needed to know everything that he was doing so he would have been an easy target for the Chinese Communist Party to try to basically infiltrate the American government.

00:07:54.000 All of this needs to be looked into in the deep level.

00:07:59.000 So he's clearly someone who's going to be targeted for Chinese influence.

00:08:03.000 And there's no evidence to suggest that he avoided it because he's been a lifelong Sinophile.

00:08:07.000 That's what he is.

00:08:09.000 And of course his stolen valor record, which he was on defense for this week because of what he's done, which is exaggerate his military service.

00:08:16.000 And when J.D.

00:08:17.000 Vance gets up there on the debate stage against Waltz, he's going to point this out.

00:08:21.000 And Waltz is going to try to pivot. 0.96

00:08:22.000 He's going to act like you're denigrating my service, you're disparaging me, etc.

00:08:25.000 But that's not at all what's happening.

00:08:27.000 What's going to be happening with Governor Waltz is that he's exaggerated it in order to gain his political clout that he has.

00:08:35.000 And that's where a line that Americans are just not willing to cross.

00:08:39.000 As we've gotten more godless, as we've gotten away from some of our Judeo-Christian roots in a lot of ways, propriety in public life is just not seen as that virtuous anymore.

00:08:48.000 People don't care as much as they used to.

00:08:50.000 But one third rail in American life, for sure, that everyone seems to agree on, is you can't steal valor.

00:08:55.000 It's not something you can do.

00:08:56.000 You're not allowed to steal valor.

00:08:58.000 And when you're out there exaggerating your record, then lying about it, And then acting as though that you have some sort of PTSD because you were in Italy eating a bunch of cannolis.

00:09:08.000 Not saying he wasn't doing other cool stuff too.

00:09:09.000 I'm sure he was.

00:09:10.000 I'm sure he served honorably.

00:09:11.000 All that stuff.

00:09:12.000 But you can't act like you're a combat vet when you're not.

00:09:15.000 And you can't act like you're suffering PTSD when you don't.

00:09:19.000 And then use those things to leverage your political clout and advance your career.

00:09:22.000 Especially when you're the type of guy who's doing business deals overseas with the Chinese and then acting as though you're some sort of avuncular middle America guy.

00:09:32.000 He's not.

00:09:33.000 And the public has already seen through it, which is why the momentum has clearly shifted.

00:09:36.000 And that's why I expect the polls to catch up.

00:09:39.000 But hey, you can't be too sure, because this is going to be an absolute dogfight.

00:09:43.000 The media, the donor class, the establishment, they're all in to get the Democrat ticket elected.

00:09:47.000 And that's why what Charlie's doing at Turning Point USA is so big and Turning Point Action with Tyler.

00:09:52.000 These guys are amazing.

00:09:53.000 That's why I support them.

00:11:00.000 Please check out the Breitbart.com app.

00:11:02.000 We've got some big announcements coming up that I can't wait to share with you, and thanks for all our support.

00:11:06.000 We're approaching record traffic at Breitbart News, and it's because we have great partners like our friends at Turning Point, so can't thank everyone in this audience enough for all the support over all the years.

00:11:16.000 So, we got our ticket.

00:11:18.000 We've got a woman who's against Christmas, four open borders, wants to take your guns, and wants to defund the police. 1.00

00:11:24.000 She's picked a radical, loud-mouthed jerk who's lied about his military record and his deep ties to China. 0.99

00:11:30.000 How could this ticket possibly win? 1.00

00:11:32.000 Well, the only way is to hide them.

00:11:34.000 That's the strategy.

00:11:36.000 Let's play Cut 84, please, from CNN, guys.

00:11:40.000 Would it kill you guys to have a press conference?

00:11:42.000 Why hasn't she had a press conference?

00:11:45.000 Listen, the Vice President and Governor Walz have been busy crisscrossing this country since the launch of this campaign and adding Governor Walz to the ticket.

00:11:53.000 You saw the ways in which they went across the battleground states last week, generating rallies of thousands, 10,000 here, 15,000 there.

00:12:03.000 But Michael, you know a campaign rally is not a press conference.

00:12:07.000 Do you mind if I cut in?

00:12:09.000 I mean, you know, a campaign rally is not a press conference.

00:12:11.000 Why isn't she at a press conference? 0.99

00:12:13.000 She's the Vice President.

00:12:14.000 She can handle the questions.

00:12:15.000 Why not do it?

00:12:17.000 We absolutely are going to do it.

00:12:19.000 You hear her take questions as she's out on the stump, and as she said last week, we're going to be having a sit-down interview here before the end of the month.

00:12:26.000 I don't want to, you know, belabor this, but one interview before the end of the month?

00:12:30.000 I mean, that's not a lot.

00:12:32.000 I mean, can you commit to a press conference before the end of the month?

00:12:36.000 We will commit to directly engage with the voters that are actually going to decide this election.

00:12:42.000 Not the press.

00:12:42.000 It won't talk to the press.

00:12:44.000 After all of this press coverage, think about that Time Magazine puff piece that Kamala Harris got with the picture that looked like Melania, as Trump said, the sketch of her.

00:12:57.000 She wouldn't even answer questions for that.

00:13:00.000 So they're clearly trying to avoid the media.

00:13:02.000 And what my fear is, is that it will work for them.

00:13:05.000 My fear is that they don't need to talk to them because they're going to get positive coverage anyway, because the media worked so hard to get Biden removed.

00:13:11.000 So they're all in on getting Kamala elected, if she talks to them or not.

00:13:15.000 It's a pretty epic power move, if you think about it.

00:13:17.000 But when CNN's Jim Acosta is the one who's suggesting, hey, can you guys talk to us, please?

00:13:22.000 And their answer is, well, she's having a rally.

00:13:25.000 And they think they can get away with that.

00:13:27.000 They really do.

00:13:28.000 They think this strategy is a winning strategy.

00:13:30.000 Remember, no press conferences.

00:13:32.000 She hasn't done a single interview, and she hasn't posted a single policy position online.

00:13:37.000 She's been a candidate for almost three weeks. 0.86

00:13:39.000 I think over three weeks at this point.

00:13:42.000 This is why what Donald Trump did with Elon Musk was so impressive two nights ago.

00:13:47.000 That they sat for two hours, and they went back and forth, and they opened up about what they think to the American public.

00:13:53.000 And it's significant for both men.

00:13:55.000 That's why I include them together.

00:13:57.000 Charlie and I did a long conversation about this when I was a guest on the show yesterday, so I won't belabor a lot of those points.

00:14:02.000 You can get that on the Charlie Kirk podcast.

00:14:03.000 But this is so amazing is Trump does this in his sleep.

00:14:06.000 All day, every day, he holds court with whoever wants to talk to him.

00:14:09.000 He lives for it.

00:14:09.000 And he loves it.

00:14:11.000 And there's nothing that's off the table with him.

00:14:13.000 And then you get Harris who thinks that she can just exist, and that's enough to win.

00:14:20.000 I could not resist this clip of Eric Swalwell defending her for not laying out her policy agenda.

00:14:25.000 Let's play 58, please.

00:14:27.000 Congressman Swalwell, to your point about Kamala Harris, why hasn't Kamala Harris laid out her policy agenda?

00:14:33.000 It's not even on her campaign's website.

00:14:39.000 So she's doing that this week.

00:14:41.000 She's talking particularly about her economic message.

00:14:45.000 She's also been going across the country filling arenas and talking about what she's going to do on the rights that were robbed for women when Roe was taken away.

00:14:57.000 The border crisis that she's going to solve.

00:14:59.000 That her economic policy won't benefit billionaires.

00:15:04.000 Okay, so she likes abortions, and she's going to tell us what she thinks of the economy at some point this week.

00:15:09.000 I'm not holding my breath on this.

00:15:11.000 We know what she thinks of the economy.

00:15:12.000 She wants to tax waitresses. 1.00

00:15:14.000 That's what she wanted to do when she passed Build Back Better, or the Inflation Reduction Act, whatever you want to call it. 1.00

00:15:20.000 Can we put Swalwell on the bench, please?

00:15:23.000 We've got a guy who has deep ties to China on the ticket now, and then you've got the guy who is sleeping with Feng Feng Feng, the Chinese agent.

00:15:32.000 What is he doing in the Congress anyway, and why is he being invited to a pint of this stuff?

00:15:37.000 Now that Walz is on the ticket, I think they should really send Swalwell to the bench.

00:15:40.000 It's just irresistible.

00:15:44.000 You would think, are they trolling with him out there?

00:15:47.000 I don't think they are.

00:15:49.000 But this is true.

00:15:50.000 Kamala Harris has not laid out her economic position, because why? 0.99

00:15:53.000 She's got no record.

00:15:55.000 Her record in the economy—I'm a Californian, so I know this—her entire record is whatever Joe Biden did as president.

00:16:01.000 And that's led to massive inflation, and Americans feel like the American dream is dying, and it's because of the Biden-Harris ticket.

00:16:08.000 That's what she's got to contend with, and that's why she hasn't put out a policy position. 0.84

00:16:12.000 The DNC is heading next week to Chicago, where crime is out of control.

00:16:17.000 It's a city that has 337 murders so far this year.

00:16:20.000 That's the highest of any American city.

00:16:23.000 So it is literally the murder capital of America.

00:16:25.000 They've got crumbling infrastructure, schools that are worse than we've ever seen.

00:16:30.000 And we have some resident Chicagoans on the Breitbart staff.

00:16:34.000 And taxes keep going up.

00:16:35.000 And it seems like the city has no hope because they ousted Lori Lightfoot.

00:16:39.000 And what did they do?

00:16:39.000 They replaced her with someone more radical.

00:16:41.000 So the city's also got this massive level of unfunded pension liabilities.

00:16:46.000 So they might be headed towards a bankruptcy and pretty much people are leaving in a lot of ways.

00:16:51.000 If you can move, you're trying to get out.

00:16:53.000 It's always been corrupt.

00:16:55.000 But the exchange people thought was the corruption was at least you would get some sort of level of competence in government and you'd get some sort of services.

00:17:02.000 Well, not really right now.

00:17:04.000 Chicago is a mess.

00:17:06.000 And yet they put the DNC there, and I don't know if the Democrats are going to get what they bargained for, because there's massive levels of protests that are being anticipated.

00:17:15.000 Tens of thousands, potentially.

00:17:18.000 This could be chaos.

00:17:19.000 And I do think that this is a huge reason why Tim Walz was selected over, let's say, a Josh Shapiro, because Walz is a favored crowd of the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party.

00:17:30.000 And it's It is something.

00:17:33.000 I just spoke to President Trump about this.

00:17:35.000 He was saying how the Democrats have become the pro-Hamas party.

00:17:37.000 He said Chuck Schumer is basically a Palestinian now.

00:17:41.000 This is what the left is grappling with right now.

00:17:44.000 Do they continue to pander to these radicals and their list of demands?

00:17:48.000 Well, that is what we have in store for us this week.

00:17:51.000 Savannah Hernandez, TPUSA contributor, has been out there trying to document some of the degradation and devastation the city of Chicago has faced.

00:17:59.000 You're going to have to watch the video to get the full context, but guys, let's get some of the audio.

00:18:03.000 Let's play this.

00:18:04.000 Now in Chicago, as a direct result of Kamala Harris' border policy, we have seen 46,000 illegal immigrants make their way to this city.

00:18:14.000 300 million in taxpayer dollars have been allocated to the food, the shelter, the medical care for these migrants.

00:18:22.000 Meanwhile, the average Chicago resident has been expressing a lot of frustration because they feel that these migrants are being treated better than them.

00:18:31.000 Also, let's note that Kamala Harris, who is supposed to be here, Let's bring in Savannah Hernandez, Frontline's reporter for TPUSA. 0.76

00:18:38.000 Savannah, it looks like a war zone out there.

00:18:40.000 has been trying to escape that title, but it is her policies that have brought Chicago 1.00

00:18:46.000 to where it is right now.

00:18:47.000 Les Briggins, Savannah Hernandez, Frontline's reporter for TPUSA.

00:18:51.000 Savannah, it looks like a war zone out there.

00:18:54.000 I mean, what did you see?

00:18:56.000 Thank you so much for having me on.

00:18:58.000 Well, first off, I thought it was very important for Turning Point to be on the ground and in Chicago ahead of the DNC because as we've seen previously, we know that political leaders love to clean up the cities before political conferences or world leaders are said to arrive. Let's not

00:19:14.000 forget when Gavin Newsom went and cleaned up downtown San Francisco because Xi Jinping was

00:19:19.000 said to arrive, but refused to do it for the residents of California. So I really

00:19:23.000 wanted to come to Chicago and be on the ground before the city had the opportunity to

00:19:28.000 potentially do that as Board of Reserves Kamala Harris is supposed to be here next week for the DNC. 1.00

00:19:35.000 And, you know, like you just said, it's a war zone.

00:19:37.000 I would venture to say that that is accurate.

00:19:40.000 Let's take a peek at the headlines of the United States of America, not only in Chicago, but also in New York, in California, in Texas.

00:19:47.000 Take a pick of which U.S. 0.98

00:19:48.000 state you want to, and I guarantee you, you can find a headline of an illegal immigrant that shouldn't be here attacking, raping, murdering, robbing an American citizen. 1.00

00:19:58.000 So, the border policy has gotten completely out of hand and here in Chicago, because I have reported on this extensively nationwide, the migrant crisis here is actually extremely visible.

00:20:09.000 Now, you can walk down the streets of downtown Chicago and you'll see these migrants with signs saying, please help me, I need medicine, I need food for my children.

00:20:19.000 There's a lot of little kids out here on the street, which is something different that you might see from New York, for example.

00:20:25.000 Um, but there's also a lot of single-aged men.

00:20:28.000 Now, I put myself in some pretty dangerous situations to get on-the-ground work, but I'll be honest with you, Alex, when I tell you that I was quite nervous to be around a lot of these single, uh, migrant men that are just out here on the streets of downtown Chicago. 1.00

00:20:42.000 I was actually walking down the street last night, and I was getting back called by some migrants that were on scooters, so it's not a safe environment, and this is what the DNC is looking like just one week, or Chicago is looking like just one week ahead of the day.

00:20:56.000 It just blows your mind because it feels like a self-owned and own goal by the Democrats because Chicago is a mess because of their policies, both their failure on a local government level, and then the open borders policies that have led for this migrant crime wave that they're not setting their best. 0.84

00:21:14.000 President Trump was correct about that.

00:21:15.000 And now they're there catcalling reporters.

00:21:18.000 And it just is such a terrible look.

00:21:20.000 How do you expect they're going to save face?

00:21:23.000 You know, that is a great question because the way that the city has been trying to fix this issue, and this isn't just in Chicago, this is nationwide, is by taking migrants out of downtown areas and pushing them into these suburbs. 0.92

00:21:34.000 So a lot of those suburban voters, a lot of, for example, here in Chicago,

00:21:38.000 those black residents feel very disenfranchised because they see the government

00:21:42.000 not only providing shelter, food, medical care to these migrants who shouldn't even be here, 1.00

00:21:47.000 but on top of that, they're pushing them into the neighborhoods and the communities

00:21:52.000 of lower income residents who have been asking for government assistance

00:21:55.000 or for the government to do something for years.

00:21:58.000 Like you played in that initial video, the city of Chicago has spent $300 million

00:22:03.000 on people that shouldn't even be here.

00:22:06.000 And they're treating them better.

00:22:08.000 And then on top of that, pushing them into these neighborhoods.

00:22:11.000 So, you know, it's a really interesting place that we're at ahead of the election.

00:22:15.000 And I think we do need to continue to hound home that, once again, this is Kamala Harris's border crisis.

00:22:22.000 She was deemed the border czar back in 2022.

00:22:24.000 She has spoken out against ICE multiple times.

00:22:27.000 She has called for free medical care for illegal immigrants.

00:22:30.000 So what Chicago residents are experiencing right now and what Americans nationwide are experiencing right now is a direct result of this administration.

00:22:39.000 And, you know, they keep promising Kamala specifically that she's got to clean it up when she gets into office. 0.99

00:22:44.000 But let's ask the question, why haven't they cleaned it up over the past four years?

00:22:47.000 Why do we have 12 million illegal immigrants in our country that shouldn't be here right now? 1.00

00:22:52.000 It's such a tough spot because she's already in office. 0.99

00:22:55.000 And she was the Border Czar.

00:22:56.000 And people want to act like she wasn't. 0.81

00:22:58.000 If you look at the definition of Border Czar, that was exactly what was laid out for her by Joe Biden.

00:22:58.000 Absolutely.

00:23:03.000 So don't blame me.

00:23:05.000 Joe put her in charge.

00:23:05.000 Blame Joe.

00:23:07.000 And she accepted the challenge as far as we could tell.

00:23:10.000 And she did a terrible job. 0.71

00:23:14.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:23:15.000 What an unbelievable start to 2024.

00:23:17.000 We had last month saving babies with preborn by providing ultrasounds.

00:23:21.000 And we're doing again this year what we did last year.

00:23:23.000 We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option.

00:23:29.000 As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing.

00:23:35.000 Your gift to preborn will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.

00:23:41.000 $280 can save 10 babies.

00:23:43.000 $28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.

00:23:46.000 And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.

00:23:52.000 And we'll also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.

00:23:56.000 Call 833-850-2229.

00:23:58.000 That's 833-850-2229.

00:24:00.000 Or click on the pre-born banner at charliekirk.com.

00:24:04.000 That is charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.

00:24:07.000 Also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.

00:24:09.000 I'm a donor to this organization.

00:24:11.000 Go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.

00:24:11.000 They're terrific.

00:24:16.000 I don't even understand why they put the DNC there to begin with.

00:24:20.000 I mean, Illinois is not a swing state.

00:24:21.000 I guess Chicago looks cool from drone footage, but it's just other than that, what's it got going for it right now?

00:24:27.000 I mean, that's about it.

00:24:28.000 So, Savannah, let's turn to these protesters.

00:24:31.000 And I want to get your sense of what you're anticipating next week.

00:24:35.000 And let's play, we've got a Fox clip of the Gaza protesters laying out some of their demands.

00:24:40.000 It's cut 89.

00:24:41.000 Can you play this one?

00:24:43.000 And in a statement, pretty solid message here towards the DNC, they said, with one week to go before the Democratic National Convention, protesters are coalescing around three demands for all elected officials, call for a lasting ceasefire, reject the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee, and legislate an arms embargo.

00:25:03.000 Those are their demands.

00:25:06.000 So it basically calls for let Hamas win and disavow Israel. 0.74

00:25:13.000 The Democrats are completely stuck here because they can't do this and keep their donor base.

00:25:17.000 And if they don't cave to some degree, they're going to lose some of their voter base.

00:25:21.000 You know, it's such an interesting situation to look at, Alex, because as we like to say, the left eats their own, and this is what we're seeing right now.

00:25:28.000 We are seeing the creation of a decade, really, of the democratic and progressive left pandering to communists, and now they have taken over, and they're taking over city streets.

00:25:39.000 They're going to be violently protesting for the DNC next week.

00:25:42.000 I've been, you know, monitoring a lot of their groups and organizations, And they're going to be busing people in from all over the

00:25:49.000 nation for one of the biggest protests against the DNC because they want their demands

00:25:54.000 And a lot of the groups as well are the same ones that have previously shut down Chicago-O'Hare

00:25:54.000 met.

00:25:59.000 in road blockages similar to this one.

00:26:02.000 So don't be surprised if next week you can't fly out of Chicago and everybody is stranded

00:26:06.000 here on behalf of the Israel-Palestine issue.

00:26:09.000 So, you know, something to look out for next week.

00:26:12.000 The radical left has gotten completely out of hand in this country.

00:26:16.000 And that, again, too, is a direct result of democratic and progressive policy that has brought us to this point, right, where we have citizens who think that it is okay to use violence, to use domestic terrorism against their fellow counterparts or even politicians to get their point across.

00:26:33.000 Um, so this this election season is very interesting because like you said we're just at a very interesting cross point I would say.

00:26:39.000 So I'm told producer Mr. D knows Chicago very well.

00:26:43.000 And what he's telling me is protesters are going to block Lakeshore Drive.

00:26:46.000 Every person he knows in the city is clearing out.

00:26:48.000 It's going to be a global rally of radicals.

00:26:50.000 So people are going to be descending from all over the world. 0.81

00:26:53.000 And he thinks it could be 40,000 total protesters from 200 different groups.

00:26:58.000 I mean, this is, from a news perspective, I couldn't be more excited about this, Savannah.

00:27:03.000 But are you nervous to be there on the ground?

00:27:05.000 Because this is legit dangerous.

00:27:08.000 I am, especially since, let's remember back in 2020, it was Chicago that was the epicenter of a lot of those violent riots for George Floyd.

00:27:16.000 This is a city that is known for its protesters, and we already have seen what look like threats of violence against DNC participants from Antifa members in the city.

00:27:28.000 I was just watching a video from one of the organizations here in Chicago yesterday, and they were saying, you know, protesting It's not supposed to be peaceful, essentially.

00:27:37.000 So I think we all know what's going to happen next week.

00:27:39.000 Like you just said, from a news perspective, I think that it's going to be very exciting.

00:27:42.000 But from the perspective of an on-the-ground reporter, I mean, I never like seeing the, you know, the civil fights that are happening, and it's been crazy.

00:27:53.000 Sanctuary City, Chicago.

00:27:55.000 Home of the DNC.

00:27:56.000 What a perfect place for it.

00:27:58.000 And Savannah, you'll be there all next week, I'm guessing?

00:28:00.000 Yes, I will be.

00:28:02.000 So what are you looking for?

00:28:03.000 Where are you going to start?

00:28:04.000 What are you hearing?

00:28:05.000 And give us a taste of what you're anticipating is going to be front and center for the conversation.

00:28:11.000 Sure.

00:28:11.000 So again, front and center, of course, are going to be those protests.

00:28:15.000 I have seen so much movement on social media of a lot of these pro-Palestinian groups that are going to be busing people in from all over the nation.

00:28:24.000 So I am anticipating that what we saw in Washington DC, for example, when Benjamin Netanyahu came for a visit to Congress, Is potentially a taste of what we may be seeing in Chicago.

00:28:36.000 Like I was saying in that previous segment as well, let's not forget that Chicago was the epicenter of some of the most violent protests during the 2020 George Floyd riots.

00:28:44.000 So there is a big portion of the population here that will take advantage of a situation and root or loot and riot just because the opportunity is available.

00:28:54.000 So I do think that the tensions are going to be high next week.

00:28:57.000 And like you said, the Democratic Party right now is really in this very strange point where they're having to balance the wants of their very

00:29:06.000 progressive and radical voter base who are coming in, threatening violence, threatening to

00:29:13.000 shut down roadways.

00:29:14.000 And I do think that we're going to see the shutdown of major highways here, potentially Chicago, O'Hare.

00:29:21.000 We'll see what ends up happening, but that's what's going to be going on next week.

00:29:25.000 And then of course, too, you do have that migrant angle as well.

00:29:29.000 Actually, one of my sources is telling me that there are going to be migrant groups here, too.

00:29:34.000 Now that we're talking about this, I'm remembering this from this angle.

00:29:37.000 There's going to be migrant groups here protesting on behalf of illegal immigrants, saying that the Democrats need to give illegal immigrants full citizenship, full health care.

00:29:46.000 So that is something else that's going to be happening here.

00:29:49.000 And again, based on this week's reporting, there is quite a large population of illegals here in the city already asking for more benefits from the government. 0.85

00:29:57.000 So it's interesting because you're trying to force the issue and try to get normal people to pay attention to the reality of the Biden-Harris administration policies, which is essentially open borders.

00:30:08.000 And I know that they're doing some things to try to shore up some places between checkpoints.

00:30:12.000 But the main issue is still catch and release, which is this parole system that we have in place where you simply just claim that you have a legitimate right to be here and you're releasing to the country and you'll probably never get a court date.

00:30:24.000 And then if you do, you might not show up and you're basically free to put down roots.

00:30:28.000 and to take resources from Americans who are here legit.

00:30:31.000 And that's the stated policy of this administration.

00:30:35.000 That's their number one goal.

00:30:36.000 And all those Northern Triangle agreements and the cessation of the wall and the ending of Title 42,

00:30:42.000 all of this is a reality that Americans are living day to day.

00:30:46.000 So it puts the Democrats in a terrifically tough spot.

00:30:49.000 We had a report from earlier this week at Breitbart how a Biden-Harris agency's freed an illegal alien in the U.S., and just a couple months later, he rapes and murders an 11-year-old girl.

00:31:00.000 These stories should be top-tier issues for most major outlets, but they just want to announce how much joy Kamala Harris is bringing to the ticket.

00:31:10.000 Are these all acts of joy that you're witnessing there in Chicago right now, Savannah?

00:31:14.000 Absolutely not, Alex.

00:31:15.000 And again, what needs to be hounded home is that American women and children are absolutely not safe under this administration.

00:31:21.000 You know, we had a similar story come out of New York just yesterday as well, right, where you had that Haitian migrant that raped a 15-year-old in one of the shelters. 0.81

00:31:29.000 And guess what? 0.71

00:31:30.000 He just got out of jail.

00:31:31.000 So, you know, ICE is requiring for him to be deported were completely ignored.

00:31:36.000 And we are seeing cases like this every single day.

00:31:39.000 And I would implore the average American, if you really think the issue is that bad,

00:31:42.000 to go to the ICE press release website, right?

00:31:45.000 Anybody can go do this.

00:31:46.000 And you can read headline after headline of illegal immigrants that were caught.

00:31:50.000 Sometimes they already do have records, but they're released into the United States of America.

00:31:54.000 They commit crimes, even if they're arrested, they are re-released onto the streets

00:31:59.000 and they continue to attack American women and children.

00:32:02.000 And it is currently open season on them.

00:32:04.000 So under Kamala Harris, you know, she's not for women like she claims to be, 1.00

00:32:08.000 because if she was, she would be keeping women safe.

00:32:10.000 And she absolutely is not.

00:32:12.000 And going to your point about Title 42, because I did do on the ground reporting

00:32:16.000 in El Paso during that time, I spoke to a migrant who broke into our country illegally.

00:32:21.000 And the date that they gave her to return to court was three years after she broke into the country.

00:32:27.000 So this is back in 2023.

00:32:29.000 She now gets to live legally in the United States of America with these NDA papers, and she doesn't have to go to court until 2026.

00:32:37.000 So, just an idea of how badly things are being run here.

00:32:40.000 You know, a lot of these migrants are being shipped to sanctuary cities in which they cannot be deported by ICE because of the laws that are protecting them, and then they're getting free medical care.

00:32:49.000 Oh, and by the way, too, Alex, another thing I was discussing here in Chicago is the outbreak of measles and tuberculosis.

00:32:56.000 I was walking down the street just yesterday, two minutes outside of my hotel, a migrant's talking to me about how he contracted tuberculosis in a migrant shelter.

00:33:03.000 He went to a hospital.

00:33:04.000 It's one of the main reasons, Savannah, why you need a border is to prevent diseases from coming in.

00:33:09.000 Savannah Hernandez, Turning Point USA Frontlines.

00:33:11.000 Terrific report.

00:33:12.000 We'll follow everything you do next week.

00:33:14.000 That's the show.

00:33:15.000 I'm Alex Marlowe.

00:33:16.000 Thanks again to Charlie, Producer Andrew, and everyone on the team.

00:33:19.000 And God bless you, and God bless America.
