The Charlie Kirk Show - The Generation That Will Save America: Charlie at the 2023 Chapter Leadership Summit

00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.

00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.

00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.

00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.

00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful.

00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.

00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.

00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.

00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.

00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA High School chapter.

00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.

00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.

00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.

00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.

00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.

00:00:45.000 Here I am.

00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.

00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:49.000 Here we go.

00:01:17.000 Thank you, guys.

00:01:18.000 Take a seat.

00:01:19.000 Thank you.

00:01:20.000 Thank you.

00:01:21.000 Wow, this is by far the largest chapter leadership summit we have ever had.

00:01:25.000 Great to see all of you.

00:01:26.000 Been having a good day?

00:01:28.000 Good.

00:01:29.000 Yeah, well, I want to say thank you guys.

00:01:32.000 I see so many familiar faces.

00:01:35.000 We had a fun year this last year, didn't we, on tour?

00:01:38.000 Raise your hand if I came to a college campus near you and Yeah, that's about half.

00:01:42.000 It's good.

00:01:43.000 From New Mexico to anybody, UC Davis, where's our UC Davis?

00:01:49.000 Yeah, that was quite a visit.

00:01:51.000 That was terrible.

00:01:53.000 But we survived.

00:01:55.000 And UC Santa Barbara, where's our, that was also something.

00:02:00.000 And how about Ohio State, the Ohio State University?

00:02:05.000 You don't boo.

00:02:05.000 You don't boo our chapter leaders.

00:02:08.000 You don't do that.

00:02:09.000 There's Danny, he's doing a great job.

00:02:11.000 You guys are on the front lines.

00:02:13.000 Every day, I get asked the question by people that are 30 or 40 years older than you, and they ask me, How can I save the country?

00:02:23.000 What can I do?

00:02:24.000 These some people have private jets, yachts, second or third homes.

00:02:29.000 Now, you are probably like, I want this the private jet, the yacht, the second or third home.

00:02:33.000 You should want that stuff.

00:02:34.000 But guess what?

00:02:35.000 You have a thing that millions of people wish they had, and that's you have something you can do every single day to help save the country.

00:02:45.000 You have an action item where you could say, you know what?

00:02:48.000 The country's falling apart, it's collapsing, we're seeing Western civilization basically be stolen from us by some really, really bad people.

00:02:58.000 But you're going to be able to say for the rest of your life that you took your college and high school years and you decided to stand for truth to save the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.

00:03:12.000 And not only that, you give millions of people hope.

00:03:18.000 Literally, millions of people.

00:03:20.000 Being part of Turning Point USA, we are the largest organization in the country of its kind.

00:03:26.000 Whether it be on social media, on campus, what we're doing with Teep USA Faith, you are all on the front lines and making a huge difference of that.

00:03:34.000 And we have now over 270,000 people that donate to Turning Point USA that help make this possible.

00:03:41.000 That you guys get to stay in hotels, that you guys get to travel here, that you guys get to have meals.

00:03:46.000 Why do they give money?

00:03:48.000 Why do they give $10,000?

00:03:49.000 Some people give a lot more than $10.

00:03:51.000 Because they're betting on you.

00:03:52.000 You're like, what do you mean?

00:03:54.000 Like, I'm a high school kid.

00:03:55.000 I'm a college kid. 0.99

00:03:57.000 It's because they know that the great hope to defeat these godless Marxists is joyful, strong conservatives on high school and college campuses pushing back against this Marxist garbage. 0.98

00:04:14.000 They're betting on you. 0.97

00:04:16.000 They're betting on your engagement, your activism, your recruitment, your courage.

00:04:22.000 That should give you, that should honestly give you some pride in a good way, not the pride that we had in the month of June.

00:04:29.000 Not good.

00:04:30.000 That should give you some gratitude as well.

00:04:34.000 I'm sure you have a lot of friends that are very upset, neurotic, liberal, but I repeat myself.

00:04:42.000 And they're on the left and they're looking for purpose.

00:04:45.000 You have purpose.

00:04:46.000 You get to be part of a movement that is against everything the world tells you.

00:04:53.000 The world tells you, and that's fun actually when you're young.

00:04:57.000 What does the world tell you? 0.99

00:04:57.000 The world tells you your country sucks. 0.99

00:04:59.000 We say America's great. 1.00

00:05:03.000 The world says that your history is full of white men that you shouldn't study.

00:05:08.000 We believe that our history is beautiful and needs to be understood and passed down to future generations.

00:05:15.000 The world tells you, take any substance you want to take, whenever you want to take it, and that will give you happiness.

00:05:22.000 We believe that that's an empty way to live your life.

00:05:25.000 And that if you experiment with that stuff, it's not going to end well for you.

00:05:28.000 And that hopefully one day you'll realize the people that are best at saying no actually are the happiest people in the world.

00:05:35.000 The rest of the world tells you that there is no such thing as biological men or women. 1.00

00:05:42.000 We think the trans people are tyrants and zealots and need to be repudiated from decent and civil society. 1.00

00:05:53.000 You get to now be part of something that is not just rebellious, but honestly, it's exciting. 1.00

00:06:00.000 It's exciting and it should be because you're fighting for things that will honestly decide whether or not this civilization continues.

00:06:08.000 And it all happens in the high schools and the college campuses.

00:06:11.000 You are the left's worst nightmare.

00:06:14.000 If you did not exist, which again, Turning Point USA, it's 11 years old.

00:06:18.000 When we first started, it was like three of us, not three staff members, like three of us.

00:06:24.000 And now we are a movement where we have 270,000 donors and millions of members and thousands of chapters, and it's like beyond comprehension.

00:06:34.000 And before I go any further, I refuse to take credit for it.

00:06:39.000 You are blessed to have the best staff in the conservative movement that work their tail off to make what you do possible.

00:06:48.000 From the events team, from your regional managers, to your directors, to the people that show up on campus that are relentlessly nagging you, come on, let's go table, let's do this event.

00:07:00.000 They deserve your gratitude.

00:07:02.000 And we give you our gratitude as well, and I'll get to that because what you do is very hard.

00:07:06.000 But now you're part of something that is not a question of if it will be, Turning Point will be in the history books.

00:07:13.000 Okay?

00:07:15.000 Turning Point has already played a massive role over the last decade, is now being this unexpected force that's bigger than all of us to defend the values of Western society and civilization.

00:07:29.000 Today's culture would have you believe that a baby is only a baby if you decide it's a baby.

00:07:34.000 Sometimes it's a choice, sometimes it's a baby.

00:07:37.000 And guess what? 1.00

00:07:38.000 We all know that's garbage. 0.99

00:07:39.000 It's not true. 0.99

00:07:40.000 And when it matters most, preborn is making sure that the truth is known, one woman at a time, one baby at a time. 0.66

00:07:47.000 Provides free ultrasounds to abortion vulnerable young women, and ultrasounds tell the truth. 0.92

00:07:47.000 Preborn. 0.92

00:07:54.000 When that mom sees her baby and hears her baby's heartbeats, she's twice as likely to choose life.

00:08:01.000 $140 helps give five mothers a free ultrasound and saves babies.

00:08:06.000 $280 can save 10 babies, and just $28 a month can save a baby a month for less than a dollar a day.

00:08:12.000 And I know there's some of you out there, you can do this.

00:08:15.000 A $15,000 gift will provide an ultrasound machine that will save lives for years to come.

00:08:21.000 Whether you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, that opportunity is just a phone call or click away.

00:08:28.000 Call 833 850 2229 or click on the preborn banner at charliekirk.com today.

00:08:35.000 That's 833 850 2229 or click on the preborn banner at charliekirk.com today.

00:08:45.000 And we don't know how this story is going to end.

00:08:47.000 We have no idea.

00:08:49.000 Are we going to win or are we going to lose?

00:08:50.000 I have no idea.

00:08:53.000 No idea.

00:08:53.000 But here's what I can say, and here's what you'll be able to say we gave it everything we possibly could.

00:08:59.000 And we did not sit on the sidelines as these people decided to try to ruin our home and destroy the country.

00:09:06.000 Because I'm sure you have a lot of friends that are enjoying their summer right now. 1.00

00:09:10.000 Losers! 0.97

00:09:12.000 You get to be part of something important. 0.99

00:09:15.000 And they're gonna be complaining to you in October, November when you go back on campus, like, my life has no purpose.

00:09:22.000 Get me more antidepressants, or let's go do another weed, or like, think of weed or whatever.

00:09:27.000 Whatever.

00:09:28.000 And you're like, okay, hopefully you don't engage in that.

00:09:32.000 But.

00:09:33.000 You're doing something here at the Turning Point USA Chapter Leadership Summit that is good for your soul.

00:09:42.000 It's good for who you're going to be 20 or 30 years from now.

00:09:47.000 And never before has it been as important as it is to then send all of you back to your high school and college campuses to say, that's a bad idea. 1.00

00:09:58.000 No, there's only two sexes.

00:10:00.000 No, I'm not going to call you by those pronouns.

00:10:03.000 No.

00:10:04.000 America's actually a great country.

00:10:06.000 No, I'm not going to allow the chemical castration of children.

00:10:10.000 No, George Washington was a badass and I really like him.

00:10:14.000 No, like I'm not going to go take down a statue because you're offended by history that you don't even understand.

00:10:20.000 No, I'm not going to stop saying that life begins at conception.

00:10:23.000 I'm not going to stop doing that.

00:10:28.000 And if every one of you take that cheerful, joyful attitude back to your campuses, We are going to be in a much better spot.

00:10:36.000 I'm not going to say we're going to save the country because I don't know.

00:10:38.000 We're up against some big forces.

00:10:40.000 You know it, right?

00:10:41.000 But there will always be a remnant.

00:10:44.000 Even if the bad guys win, we're young and we're going to have to live in this country and we're going to build something beautiful.

00:10:50.000 Whether it's now or in five years or 10 years or 20 years or in 30 years, I have no idea.

00:10:56.000 I don't know what this country is going to look like in 10 years.

00:10:58.000 I hope we can turn some things around.

00:11:00.000 Some ways it looks like the country is just so far apart and people don't want to work anymore and all this.

00:11:06.000 But then I say, wait a second, there's a lot of goodness happening in the country.

00:11:09.000 We have 600 people under the age of 22 that are super activists that are deciding.

00:11:15.000 You are all voluntarily doing something where you're saying, I want my life to be harder. 0.91

00:11:21.000 It would be easier, any one of you, if you were here and instead of turning point USA, it was like transing the country USA.

00:11:32.000 You would get corporate donations, you would get sponsorships with beer companies, you would get Target, would want you to go model for them.

00:11:42.000 Your administration would give you special privileges.

00:11:45.000 You would be on the website of whatever godless college that you go to.

00:11:51.000 What college do you go to? 0.99

00:11:52.000 Suffolk, you would be on the front page of Suffolk if you transitioned to a woman right now and wore a dress, you'd be on the front page of the Suffolk University website or whatever godless school you guys go to. 0.99

00:12:06.000 But you're saying, No, I think that's bad because I know what's right and I know what's good. 0.80

00:12:13.000 And so when you say, I want to start a turning point chapter leader, all of a sudden I'm sure, raise your hands if you've been graded differently, called names, smeared, slandered, lost friends, every single hand goes up.

00:12:22.000 Guess what?

00:12:23.000 Good.

00:12:23.000 That means you're standing for something.

00:12:27.000 That means that you are not a coward.

00:12:32.000 That means your life has purpose and meaning.

00:12:36.000 Delight in them calling you names.

00:12:39.000 Find joy in the persecution because it will come and it will come more.

00:12:44.000 We live in a dark world right now, it's not going to brighten unless we turn up the lights.

00:12:50.000 And the only way you do that is with courage.

00:12:53.000 And so I could be like, oh boy, life is so tough, and you know, keep your head down and do all this, and you know, say, you know, just try to lie to get a good grade.

00:13:02.000 Or I could tell you, you know what?

00:13:04.000 Life goes by like this.

00:13:06.000 And I don't want to live as a coward, and I don't want that for you either. 0.93

00:13:10.000 Because you know what a coward is?

00:13:12.000 A coward is someone who is somebody different in public than they are in private. 0.62

00:13:18.000 They have like a, well, I have to be somebody in my dorm room, and then once I'm outside, I have to pretend like I'm for all the SJW nonsense.

00:13:28.000 What you're deciding to be is the same person in every environment, regardless of where you go, all the time.

00:13:35.000 And that's some, you know who that is?

00:13:37.000 That's a person who's free.

00:13:40.000 That's a person who's free, where you don't have to self censor.

00:13:46.000 And yes, I'm sure we're gonna get question after question.

00:13:48.000 We're gonna do questions for some time.

00:13:50.000 But Charlie, how should I deal with a professor who's gonna grade me differently?

00:13:55.000 I have great respect for this man, but I disagree with him.

00:13:55.000 You choose.

00:13:58.000 Ben Shapiro says you should lie your way through college.

00:14:02.000 He does.

00:14:03.000 He says that you should lie to the professor and write essays that pander to them to just get good grades.

00:14:08.000 Some of you might decide to do that.

00:14:11.000 I think that if you lie little, you lie big, and you should never lie under any circumstances whatsoever when it comes to things that matter.

00:14:19.000 I think grades mean nothing.

00:14:20.000 I think courage and character means everything.

00:14:24.000 Now, some of you are like, but I want to go to law school.

00:14:28.000 Go lie.

00:14:29.000 Go to law school.

00:14:30.000 Let me know how it goes.

00:14:31.000 Go pander to the corporations.

00:14:33.000 Go tell me how it works.

00:14:35.000 The rest of your life, though, you'll be looking around the shoulder.

00:14:38.000 I hope they don't find out that I like Trump.

00:14:40.000 I hope they don't find out that I'm a conservative.

00:14:42.000 I hope they don't find out I'm a Christian.

00:14:44.000 The earlier you proclaim to the world what you believe in, you won't have to worry about them coming after you.

00:14:56.000 Before he ever stepped onto a debate stage or behind a microphone, Charlie understood something important.

00:15:01.000 If you want to lead, you have to learn first.

00:15:04.000 Charlie believed that ideas shape character, conviction, and give you courage.

00:15:08.000 That's why he spent Years studying the classics, the American founding, and the Bible through Hillsdale College's free online courses.

00:15:14.000 These are real college courses taught by actual Hillsdale professors.

00:15:18.000 One of those courses is Great Books 101, Ancient to Medieval, where you'll study foundational authors like Homer, Augustine, Dante, and Chaucer, writers who shape Western civilization and still speak to the deepest questions about human nature, virtue, courage, family, and self government.

00:15:35.000 The course includes Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, the epic stories of Achilles and Odysseus that have influenced the West for thousands of years.

00:15:43.000 And this summer, Hillsdale College is releasing a brand new course dedicated entirely to Homer's Odyssey.

00:15:49.000 Great Books 101 is the perfect way to prepare before the full Odyssey course launches in July.

00:15:54.000 Charlie understood that learning isn't just about gaining knowledge, it's about forming the mind and character needed to face the challenges of life with wisdom and courage.

00:16:02.000 You can enroll today completely free, 100% free, just by visiting charlie4hillsdale.com.

00:16:10.000 That's charlie4hillsdale.com to start learning today.

00:16:13.000 Charlie, For Hillsdale.com.

00:16:16.000 Learn deeply, think clearly, lead boldly, carry it forward with Hillsdale College.

00:16:24.000 But you say, well, my parents, this, make your own decisions, guys.

00:16:28.000 I'm not telling you what to do, but I will tell you this.

00:16:31.000 If you think that you're just going to kind of slow walk, no one's going to detect me, and I'm going to go become a partner at this law firm, and I'm going to go to Yale Law and all this, fine.

00:16:42.000 If you can live that double life, but that's exhausting. 0.94

00:16:46.000 Why don't you use that energy to go fight these commies instead of having to dodge their tyranny? 0.90

00:16:52.000 Reject the terms on face value and be who you are and what you believe.

00:16:59.000 So, when I talk to our donors and I talk to the people that support us, they say, Charlie, what gives you hope?

00:17:09.000 And some of these people are afraid to voice their opinions to their neighbors or to their friends.

00:17:13.000 So, you know what gives me hope?

00:17:14.000 It gives me hope when thousands and hundreds of thousands of young people.

00:17:19.000 The students of Turning Point USA say, I will take the tough path, but I want a deep life.

00:17:27.000 Here's one of the things I want to share with you today.

00:17:28.000 You have a choice, and you've all made the right choice, but I hope you go even further in this direction.

00:17:35.000 I encourage you to make a conscious decision to pursue depth over shallowness and to pursue things that matter over things that are easy or comfortable.

00:17:49.000 That's what you're deciding to do.

00:17:51.000 Ease and comfort is just checking the boxes of what society wants for you.

00:17:55.000 Depth requires work.

00:17:59.000 Depth requires understanding why am I here?

00:18:03.000 Who created me?

00:18:05.000 Is there a God?

00:18:06.000 Why does this country matter?

00:18:08.000 Should I even care about how my fellow citizens are created?

00:18:11.000 Or should I just kind of just go through the motions and try to get the most stuff and kind of keep my head down?

00:18:15.000 A deep life means you're going to have to work for things.

00:18:19.000 But I think we all understand that your generation is the most suicidal.

00:18:24.000 Depressed, alcohol addicted, drug addicted, and pornography addicted generation in history.

00:18:33.000 Why?

00:18:34.000 Why is that the case?

00:18:35.000 It's because we have told a generation of young people no need to dive deep into big ideas.

00:18:42.000 Stay shallow.

00:18:44.000 Just kind of do what you're told.

00:18:46.000 Put on the mask.

00:18:49.000 15 days is slow to spread.

00:18:51.000 Take the shot.

00:18:52.000 Disagree.

00:18:53.000 You're an anti science bigot. 0.99

00:18:55.000 Where's your black square? 0.98

00:18:57.000 You don't support Ukraine? 0.99

00:18:58.000 What are you, a Russian puppet? 0.99

00:19:05.000 Take a knee or else you're a bigot. 1.00

00:19:07.000 That's not a deep life.

00:19:09.000 That's a boring, simple, robotic, regime programmed life.

00:19:17.000 You have a different way.

00:19:18.000 You have an opportunity to say, you know what?

00:19:19.000 I want to pursue what is good, true, and beautiful in the world.

00:19:22.000 I want to pursue what things that make my soul activated.

00:19:28.000 Not just that, give me immediate pleasure or pursue licentiousness.

00:19:33.000 The mission that is in front of you, the charge for all of you, is to go through your life in the next couple years, and Turning Point will be a partner with you in this, is to say, you know what?

00:19:42.000 I want to be a leader in my community, a leader in my life, but I'm not just going to do the thing that is the most immediate or that of ease.

00:19:51.000 And so, what does that look like practically?

00:19:55.000 It looks like, first and foremost, understanding that if it makes you feel good immediately in a quick rush, it's probably bad for you. 0.54

00:20:02.000 It's saying no hookup culture and that trash that goes alongside of it.

00:20:10.000 It's understanding that if you're staring at your screen for hours and hours a day, that you're nothing more than a product of people who hate you and they're programming your behaviors and manipulating your brain neurochemistry from their dopamine, the norepinephrine, to your hormonal reactions. 0.87

00:20:29.000 Decide to be a human being.

00:20:31.000 What a concept.

00:20:32.000 And putting the things that matter that will matter in eternal consequence.

00:20:36.000 Last thing I'll say is this.

00:20:37.000 And I want to just tell you my gratitude and how important you are to what we do for your grit, for your hustle, for your stamina, and for your commitment.

00:20:46.000 Is one of the reasons that I'm not a big fan of college, and I know it's kind of weird because you guys are half in college, but I'm honest, is because college does not, unless you go to, anyone go to Hillsdale?

00:20:59.000 Do we have any Hillsdale people here?

00:21:01.000 No one?

00:21:01.000 No?

00:21:02.000 Oh, there you go.

00:21:03.000 You guys are exempt from this.

00:21:04.000 So two out of 600, okay?

00:21:05.000 Good.

00:21:07.000 Unless there's another good school, any other good schools here?

00:21:11.000 Liberty's actually pretty good.

00:21:12.000 Anybody else?

00:21:14.000 UCF?

00:21:16.000 University of Central Florida?

00:21:20.000 I don't know about that one.

00:21:21.000 So we'll find out.

00:21:23.000 I'm speaking there, I think, this semester.

00:21:25.000 I'm not, I don't know.

00:21:27.000 University of Georgia?

00:21:33.000 Here's the question what do you mean by a good school?

00:21:36.000 In their mission statement at Hillsdale, I'll brag on Hillsdale, they say that our job is to make you wise and full of good character.

00:21:45.000 Most schools that you guys go to here in this room, that is not their mission statement.

00:21:50.000 It is to create worldly citizens, activists for a lifetime.

00:21:54.000 What is wisdom?

00:21:57.000 Wisdom is the knowledge of things that never change.

00:22:01.000 Wisdom is to understand are human beings naturally good or bad?

00:22:05.000 Is there a natural law?

00:22:06.000 How did this universe come into being?

00:22:09.000 Not everything can be decided through a study, not everything can be decided by scientists.

00:22:16.000 There is a thing called philosophy.

00:22:18.000 Now, some of you probably are like, oh, I take philosophy. 0.99

00:22:20.000 Yeah, it's probably trash. 0.75

00:22:24.000 You're probably learning Jacques Derrida, Herbert Marcuse. 0.91

00:22:28.000 We're going to go learn Machiavelli and Friedrich Nietzsche.

00:22:31.000 We're going to go learn about how the ancients and the classics were all wrong.

00:22:34.000 Like, how about you study the ethics closely?

00:22:37.000 Plato's Republic, Aquinas, Augustine, understanding the thinkers that built Western society.

00:22:47.000 Where does wisdom come from ultimately?

00:22:49.000 Wisdom. begins with the fear of the Lord.

00:23:01.000 More Americans are starting to ask an important question.

00:23:04.000 Why is it so difficult to get access to medications you may already know you need?

00:23:09.000 If your health is your responsibility, why are outside systems deciding what you can have and when you're allowed to get it?

00:23:16.000 That's one reason I recommend All Family Pharmacy.

00:23:18.000 They make it super simple to order a wide range of medications online, from everyday maintenance medications to travel and emergency preparedness options.

00:24:00.000 We are not raising a wise generation, we're raising a cocky generation, we are raising a fragile generation.

00:24:09.000 We are raising a comfortable generation, but we are not raising a wise generation.

00:24:17.000 A wise generation is a threat to tyranny everywhere.

00:24:22.000 You know why?

00:24:23.000 Wise people say, no, we're not locking down schools.

00:24:28.000 Wise people say, why do I need to take the shot?

00:24:31.000 That's weird.

00:24:33.000 Wise people say, no, I'm not putting on a mask.

00:24:36.000 Because wisdom is the knowledge of things that never change.

00:24:38.000 You could be full of data, full of studies. 0.98

00:24:44.000 Full of meaningless crap that they teach you in these colleges. 0.97

00:24:48.000 But if you have no understanding of what is a human being, are you inclined to terrorize another? 0.99

00:24:55.000 What is good?

00:24:56.000 What is evil?

00:24:57.000 Where does it come from?

00:24:58.000 Is there a hierarchy to the good?

00:25:00.000 Define courage, prudence, temperance.

00:25:03.000 Name five people before the year 1900 that were heroic, brave, and courageous.

00:25:08.000 Name a founding father that wrote something you can quote.

00:25:10.000 If you can't say those things, you're not going to an institution that is instilling you in wisdom, going deep.

00:25:15.000 But you could do that yourself.

00:25:16.000 You don't have to go to college to do that.

00:25:19.000 You could be self motivated and autodidactic.

00:25:23.000 You could listen to my podcast.

00:25:24.000 You could read the great books.

00:25:25.000 You don't need to go $200,000 in debt to do that.

00:25:29.000 You could decide to do it today.

00:25:32.000 To go find an answer to these questions, to dwell on the deeper things, where you stop in awe and wonder of things that are beautiful, that which is perfected in being.

00:25:40.000 What I'm getting at is the rest of your life, commit yourself to wanting to pursue wisdom because we need you wise, everybody.

00:25:48.000 We don't just need you activated.

00:25:50.000 We don't just need you motivated.

00:25:51.000 We need that.

00:25:52.000 We don't just need you energized.

00:25:54.000 We need you to be able to tell good from evil quickly because it's coming back and it's here right now. 0.99

00:26:00.000 We need you to be able to be like, yeah, it's kind of weird that we're chopping off the genitals of 12 year olds. 1.00

00:26:07.000 Shut up, bigot. 1.00

00:26:08.000 No, I, like, that's not right. 0.99

00:26:10.000 Well, who are you to say what is good or evil or right or wrong?

00:26:15.000 That moral subjectivism that is being force fed in many of the colleges that you go in.

00:26:19.000 And isn't it hilarious that the moral subjectivists, they're always actually the most moral absolutists?

00:26:24.000 Because then you say, wait a second, is there a moral standard?

00:26:28.000 No, of course not, but you're a bigot.

00:26:30.000 Okay, you call me a bigot means that there's an objective moral standard, obviously.

00:26:34.000 Because by some grading scale, you're calling me less than desirable.

00:26:39.000 You're a hater.

00:26:40.000 By what standard?

00:26:42.000 Everyone is using a standard to judge something every time.

00:26:45.000 By what standard is the most important question.

00:26:47.000 And so, therefore, we need a wise generation.

00:26:50.000 Now, some people will say you can only get wisdom through life experience.

00:26:54.000 That is wrong.

00:26:56.000 You can get wisdom through study of the great thinkers and philosophers.

00:27:01.000 Philosopher literally means the love of wisdom.

00:27:03.000 Philosophos.

00:27:04.000 Sophos wisdom, Philos love.

00:27:05.000 The love of wisdom.

00:27:06.000 You should all love wisdom.

00:27:08.000 You should all yearn to wonder and to know and to dive deep in the things that capture your imagination.

00:27:14.000 Because when you do that, that will only intensify your resolve to fight to win this battle, to start a turning point group, to recruit more kids.

00:27:24.000 And then you'll find something that your counterparts on the left will never find.

00:27:28.000 I believe the scriptures will lead you to this.

00:27:30.000 You'll find joy.

00:27:33.000 You'll find peace.

00:27:39.000 And that is right there in front of you.

00:27:41.000 My message is not an easy message.

00:27:42.000 I'm not here to tell you to go follow your heart, bad advice.

00:27:46.000 Don't do that.

00:27:48.000 Do what you want to do.

00:27:49.000 No, don't do that either.

00:27:51.000 Press pause and realize you're young, but you're willing.

00:27:57.000 And I want to figure out if somebody before me wrote something that could be helpful to me.

00:28:01.000 It's kind of cool.

00:28:03.000 How often does a college tell you, hey, you're young and somebody 2,000 years ago might have been able to write something down so that you don't have to suffer as much?

00:28:10.000 No, instead they'll say they're white, so don't read them.

00:28:13.000 It's probably a bad idea.

00:28:15.000 You guys are on the front lines.

00:28:17.000 I'm honored to fight alongside of you.

00:28:18.000 You are America's best hope.

00:28:21.000 The country is not in a good spot.

00:28:24.000 We're going to talk about that in the coming days.

00:28:26.000 And I know you guys are coming to ACT CON.

00:28:28.000 It's going to be pretty amazing.

00:28:29.000 Tucker and Bongino and all of that.

00:28:32.000 It's going to be great.

00:28:36.000 But you know the number one reason why these speakers want to come?

00:28:39.000 When I talk to Tucker, when I talk to President Trump, when I talk to Bannon, when I talk to Bongina, when I talk to Megyn Kelly, it's because they say, Charlie, there is a grittiness, there's an energy, there's a focus, there's an optimism with the Turning Point students that we don't see anywhere else.

00:28:58.000 They said, We're coming out of our schedule in the summer to Palm Beach because we want to speak to your students to tell them how important they are to save the civilization.

00:29:08.000 And I agree completely.

00:29:09.000 You guys are America's last best hope.
