The Charlie Kirk Show - The Globalist Co-Opting of Post-COVID Freedom with Jack Posobiec

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, producer Andrew Colvet here filling in for Charlie Kirk.

00:00:04.000 I got a question for you.

00:00:06.000 Who gets credit?

00:00:07.000 There's an old expression that goes, it's amazing what you can accomplish when you don't care who gets the credit.

00:00:14.000 Sadly folks, our elites really care a lot.

00:00:18.000 And we're seeing this dynamic play out all across the world.

00:00:22.000 We talk about this exact thing with Jack Poseobic.

00:00:26.000 They're telling us that the science has changed.

00:00:29.000 Mandates are falling.

00:00:30.000 But guess what?

00:00:31.000 The truckers don't get the credit.

00:00:32.000 Jack Poseobic, Human Events Daily, joins us to break all that down.

00:00:36.000 And is freedom of speech dying or is it even dead in the United States?

00:00:40.000 DHS memos, spying on congresspeople.

00:00:43.000 There's lots of disturbing trends out there, folks.

00:00:45.000 We break it down for you right here on the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:47.000 You're not going to want to miss it.

00:00:48.000 Buckle up. 0.96

00:00:49.000 Here we go.

00:00:50.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:52.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.

00:00:54.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:58.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:01:01.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:01:02.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:01:03.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:01:10.000 Turning point USA. 0.65

00:01:11.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:20.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:23.000 Brought to you by Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage.

00:01:26.000 For personalized loan services, you can count on.

00:01:28.000 Go to andrewandtodd.com, the wonderfulandrewandodd.com.

00:01:35.000 So I want to talk about the First Amendment.

00:01:37.000 I want to ask the question, is the First Amendment truly alive and well in the United States?

00:01:43.000 I think many people listening to this show would have trouble believing that that is the case.

00:01:48.000 And yet, our State Department, along with over a dozen other Western governments, posted a joint statement on its website regarding free speech in Hong Kong.

00:02:03.000 Quote, the undersigned members of the Media Freedom Coalition expressed their deep concern at the Hong Kong and mainland Chinese authorities' attacks on freedom of the press and their suppression of independent local media in Hong Kong.

00:02:17.000 Read the statement.

00:02:19.000 This included countries like Australia, many others across the West that have been quite impressive in their clampdown of misinformation.

00:02:31.000 Now, one doesn't have to look far to find out just why exactly this is so rich.

00:02:37.000 We have seen in just the last week the White House call on Spotify to censor Joe Rogan for having honest conversations with doctors that have dissident opinions from the mainstream narrative.

00:02:53.000 You've got aging Canadian folk artists like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell boycotting and pulling their songs off of Spotify.

00:03:03.000 Neil Young is doubling down, by the way, and telling Spotify employees that they should quit before it steals their very souls.

00:03:10.000 And for what?

00:03:11.000 For having Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Peter McCullough, both doctors of which have been on this show, speak out about how they are treating COVID and speak out about why early treatment will save lives.

00:03:25.000 And mind you, Dr. Robert Malone holds eight of the original patents to the mRNA technology upon which these vaccines are built and based.

00:03:36.000 Now, all of this would be well enough that you would say, hey, well, why don't you look into the mirror, State Department, Western democracies?

00:03:44.000 We're a Republican out of democracy.

00:03:46.000 Nevertheless, why don't you look in the mirror and see what you're doing to your own people? 0.55

00:03:51.000 Social media is clamping down.

00:03:53.000 I mean, we have a whole list.

00:03:54.000 Just so you folks have an inside understanding of what we have to deal with at the Charlie Kirk show.

00:03:59.000 There's a whole list of topics that we instantly know if we're going to post a video on social media, we better be darn careful about the way that it's phrased, the titling, all of that, because the fact checkers will come down, especially on large accounts like Charlie Kirk's show and Charlie himself personally.

00:04:19.000 So that would all be well and good.

00:04:22.000 Look in the mirror.

00:04:24.000 But then on Monday, the DHS posted a National Terrorism Advisory System bulletin.

00:04:30.000 Duration from yesterday from Monday to June 17th.

00:04:34.000 That's how long the threat list.

00:04:36.000 I mean, I don't know where they come up with these arbitrary dates.

00:04:38.000 I thought that was funny.

00:04:40.000 Now, we talked about this a little bit yesterday on the show, but it's worth stating again: what is the number one threat assessment of our esteemed leaders at the DHS?

00:04:51.000 Is it the Chinese Communist Party?

00:04:54.000 No.

00:04:55.000 Is it Al-Qaeda and ISIS?

00:04:58.000 No.

00:05:00.000 Well, that's right.

00:05:01.000 It's you.

00:05:03.000 It's a lot of the people that listen to this show.

00:05:06.000 It's a lot of people that follow Charlie Kirk on social media.

00:05:11.000 Quote: Key factors contributing to the current heightened threat environment: the proliferation of false or misleading narratives which sow discord or undermine public trust in the U.S. government.

00:05:25.000 Now, you know, you might be thinking that that would actually involve people that are pointing guns at the government or federal officials.

00:05:35.000 No, no, no.

00:05:36.000 Just people spreading COVID misinformation and election fraud misinformation online.

00:05:44.000 This is what it says.

00:05:45.000 For example, there is widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19.

00:05:54.000 That is the top of the DHS's terror watch list.

00:05:59.000 Now, again, you might say, well, okay, it's just Biden being Biden.

00:06:04.000 It's just the regime regime.

00:06:06.000 Not going to really do anything about it.

00:06:10.000 Well, earlier this week, according to the Federalist, they reported that the Capitol Hill Police Inspector General is launching a probe into allegations that one congressman, Rep. Troy Nels, and we have that clip 74, is claiming that the Capitol Hill police are breaking into his office and taking pictures of his private information inside his office.

00:06:37.000 Cut 74.

00:06:39.000 So they're weaponizing these federal law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies.

00:06:45.000 We can't, it's making my heartbeat faster.

00:06:46.000 We can't put up this is the red line that you can't tolerate in a free society.

00:06:50.000 You cannot use federal law enforcement agencies to go after your political enemies, period.

00:06:55.000 That's what they do in Africa. 1.00

00:06:56.000 We cannot allow that here, obviously. 0.99

00:06:59.000 I hope you get every one of these Cretans fired. 1.00

00:07:01.000 I mean it. 0.85

00:07:02.000 And then yesterday, as if that wasn't enough, Louis Gohmert, who's been on this show, been to Turning Point USA events, issued a statement on what he says is the apparent unconstitutional tampering of my private constituent mail.

00:07:21.000 He said, in January, my staff received a letter addressed to my official office from a Christian missionary, which was already opened and stamped DOJ Mailroom with a date and quote unquote x-rayed on the stamp.

00:07:35.000 Last week, my office received a second piece of mail from a constituent mailed from East Texas in postmark September 2021.

00:07:42.000 It took four and a half months to reach my office and was also opened and bore a stamp from the DOJ.

00:07:49.000 That's right, folks.

00:07:51.000 And we have many instances that I just went through.

00:07:55.000 Louis Gohmert, Representative Troy Nels from Texas as well.

00:08:01.000 The DHS memo and the shocking lack of self-awareness from the State Department saying that we're worried about freedom of speech in Hong Kong.

00:08:12.000 Right here in the United States, the First Amendment is under attack like never before.

00:08:20.000 Now, this all happens upon the backdrop of the Sergeant of Arms Office sent an internal memo, quote, behavioral monitoring to detect internal security threats.

00:08:33.000 Now, the House Sergeant of Arms is the they lead security for the Chamber of Commerce of Congress.

00:08:42.000 And they sent this memo reported by Politico that they are now pushing to be able to investigate internal threats.

00:08:50.000 That means staffers and even congressmen.

00:08:54.000 I don't know about you folks, but this is not the America that I grew up in.

00:08:58.000 None of this would have been tolerated just a few years ago.

00:09:03.000 Now, with the onset of COVID, Floyd Apalooza, and now January 6th, they have used all of these elements to rob us of our God-given rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.

00:09:18.000 One by one, they are challenging them, and it is extremely disturbing to say the least.

00:09:26.000 Vaccines have not eliminated the Chinese Fauci coronavirus.

00:09:30.000 So we all need extra protection for our immune systems.

00:09:34.000 My very good friend at Centurion Labs have combined five key ingredients to defend your immune system against allergies, colds, the flu, and even the coronavirus.

00:09:43.000 It's called Centurion Defender and incorporates vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, copper, QCERTIN in just one capsule.

00:09:50.000 No more swallowing 10 pills a day or taking supplements because the individual cost is too high.

00:09:55.000 I'm currently taking one defender with breakfast and one defender with dinner and just keep living my life.

00:10:00.000 As you know, I'm a big believer in getting vitamin D levels up.

00:10:04.000 Just like the Centurions of Rome led by example and held themselves to the highest possible standards, Centurion Labs, they've dedicated the last 15 years to research and develop safe, effective, and affordable health care products made in America that you can trust.

00:10:20.000 For a limited time, listeners of the Charlie Kirk show can save 20% off their first order at Centurion Defender.

00:10:27.000 When you visit centurionlabs.com/slash Kirk and use the promo code Kirk.

00:10:33.000 Defend your health today with Centurion Defender.

00:10:36.000 That's centurionlabs.com/slash Kirk, promo code Kirk.

00:10:40.000 CenturionLabs.com/slash Kirk, promo code Kirk.

00:10:45.000 Get your D levels up today.

00:10:50.000 Now, there is a fairly, you know, I was going to say I don't think it's been getting enough coverage, but I do actually think that it's starting to gain traction.

00:11:04.000 And that is this crackpite giveaway story out of the Biden regime.

00:11:13.000 So this is according to their plan.

00:11:20.000 A lot of people are calling this the Hunter Biden plan for obvious reasons.

00:11:26.000 According to their reporting, a $30 million grant program that begins in May will give money to nonprofits and local governments to help make drug use safer for addicts.

00:11:36.000 Applicants for the grants are prioritized if they treat a majority of, quote, underserved communities, end quote, including African Americans and quote, LGBTQ plus persons, as established under Joe Biden's executive order on advancing racial equity.

00:11:53.000 Not sure what LGBTQ plus has to do with advancing racial equity, but I digress.

00:12:00.000 Part of this plan includes providing crack pipes to addicts.

00:12:06.000 Yes, that's right.

00:12:07.000 Crackpipes to addicts.

00:12:10.000 The Health and Human Services Department says that agency says that this will, quote, reduce the risk of infection when smoking substances with glass pipes, which can lead to infections through cuts and sores.

00:12:24.000 Now, many people have noted that San Francisco, which has 50% more addicts than high school students, has already implemented this policy.

00:12:34.000 But here's the funny part, and I think it's illustrative for some of our friends that don't do this every day for a living listening around the country.

00:12:45.000 This claim was met by a mostly false fact check from Snopes.

00:12:50.000 That's right.

00:12:51.000 Snopes that is tasked with identifying misinformation on the interwebs and shutting it down.

00:13:00.000 Snopes says that this is mostly false.

00:13:06.000 Says this was just one of around 20 components of the grant program, and far from its most prominent or important one, despite being the primary focus of outraged news reports.

00:13:16.000 The purpose of the program was to reduce harm and the risk of infection among drug users, not to advance racial equity, although that was a secondary consideration.

00:13:27.000 So, yes, you read that right.

00:13:28.000 Snopes is admitting that Biden's crackpipe giveaway is in fact true.

00:13:35.000 It just doesn't like that it's hurting the perception in the administration.

00:13:42.000 So, just so we're clear, the regime fact-checkers, the elite fact-checkers, that Silicon Valley experts and pajama boys that dictate the rules of what's true, what's moral, what's good for the universe, they have determined that if something negatively impacts the Biden administration, that it's mostly false, even if it's true.

00:14:06.000 It literally admitted that it was true, and yet the fact-checkers are out in force to say that it's false.

00:14:15.000 That is the kind of craziness we are dealing with.

00:14:19.000 Now, here's the good news: the Biden approval rating, something that we talk about a lot.

00:14:28.000 Now, we try not to get too bogged down in this discussion because you can, polls have been historically wrong.

00:14:37.000 There's lots that you could make of them, there's lots that people can extrapolate that are actually untrue.

00:14:43.000 But according to Real Clear Politics Average, which again aggregates all of the polls, Biden's job approval rating has fallen below 40%, the aggregate.

00:14:56.000 Now, we have seen some polls that have him at 36, 38, 39.

00:15:02.000 We had our good friend Rich Barris on the show who's saying that he was being generous at 38.

00:15:07.000 So, it's not a surprise necessarily that he's below 40.

00:15:12.000 But what is a surprise is that even the polling that has historically put Joe Biden, you know, or Dem has been Dem friendly, as we call it, by like plus four, plus seven, all of that baked into this average for Real Clear Politics still has him officially below 40.

00:15:35.000 39.8% of voters polled approve of Joe Biden's leadership of this country.

00:15:42.000 54.4% disapproved.

00:15:46.000 That's basically a 15-point delta.

00:15:50.000 15 points.

00:15:54.000 Let's go ahead and bring Jack in.

00:15:55.000 Jack, welcome to the show.

00:15:57.000 Producer Andrew, boy, you know, when they told me I was coming on the Charlie show today, I didn't expect to see your handsome mug shining off me across the setup.

00:16:07.000 What's going on?

00:16:08.000 Have you annexed?

00:16:09.000 Right?

00:16:10.000 This is the occupation of the studio, apparently.

00:16:13.000 Just call me Chaz.

00:16:14.000 This is exactly.

00:16:15.000 This is occupied territory.

00:16:17.000 No, so we on purpose didn't tell you because we, you know, we didn't want you to ghost us here, Jack.

00:16:23.000 Although I know you wouldn't because you're a gentleman and a scholar.

00:16:25.000 No, no, no.

00:16:26.000 It's certainly not for you.

00:16:27.000 What time is it again?

00:16:28.000 And you're Polish.

00:16:29.000 So, hey, Jack, we had so much to talk about, but I told you just a second ago, I wanted to start with this clip.

00:16:35.000 I think it's going viral everywhere.

00:16:37.000 Now, as backdrop, we all know that the narrative is collapsing before our very eyes.

00:16:43.000 The COVID mass mandate narrative, I think a lot of it started honestly with these truckers.

00:16:49.000 Now the science is changing, Jack.

00:16:52.000 And the media is here to back that play.

00:16:54.000 But they weren't just a few weeks ago with Governor Junkin.

00:16:58.000 Let's go ahead and play clip 80.

00:17:01.000 Glenn Young campaign as if he were an ordinary suburban flea-swearing dad with moderate and ineffensive views.

00:17:08.000 Yunkin did exactly what a Republican does when they get into power.

00:17:12.000 Let's look at what's going on.

00:17:14.000 Let's move this state back 50 years.

00:17:17.000 Virginia Governor and Trump in training Glenn Youngkin. 1.00

00:17:20.000 COVID politics makes a lot of Republican governors stupid. 1.00

00:17:24.000 We know Glenn Young's true colors. 1.00

00:17:26.000 It's that.

00:17:27.000 It's MAGA red.

00:17:28.000 New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Oregon, and California all moved to relax their mask mandates.

00:17:34.000 These are all states led by Democrats and once hard-hit COVID zones, and they seem to be decisions driven by science, not politics.

00:17:41.000 The reaction so far has been broadly, if not overwhelmingly, positive.

00:17:46.000 The facts are great.

00:17:47.000 We're headed in the right direction, as I think we hoped we would be.

00:17:50.000 More signs.

00:17:51.000 The country is pushing to get back to normal.

00:17:55.000 Now, we have to give the Washington Free Beacon credit for that clip.

00:17:58.000 They put that compilation together.

00:18:00.000 What a dichotomy, Jack.

00:18:01.000 Now, you are a member of the media.

00:18:05.000 I mean, this is just facts, right?

00:18:08.000 They're just reporting unbiased.

00:18:10.000 So what's amazing to me, and the fact that you mentioned the truckers there as well, and the fact that there is one place that's not dropping mandates, even though we're seeing these mandates fall like dominoes across the United States, state by state, city by city.

00:18:24.000 Premier of Alberta, so in Alberta province, just dropped some of the mandates last night.

00:18:28.000 But Justin Trudeau is digging his heels in.

00:18:31.000 Now, why?

00:18:32.000 The question is, why is Justin Trudeau doing that?

00:18:35.000 Because what you're seeing right now is a power play.

00:18:38.000 It's a struggle for legitimacy between the people and the elites.

00:18:42.000 Now, here in the United States, the elites will never apologize.

00:18:46.000 They will never say anything to admit that they were wrong when it came to lockdowns, when it came to mandates, or any of these things.

00:18:53.000 They will say, this ended because we ended it.

00:18:56.000 So as long as the power to end the pandemic comes through them, then the rightful legitimacy is restored to their place of power.

00:19:04.000 However, in Canada, because the power of the government is questioned, vis-à-vis these truckers and farmers and cowboys and the families that are coming out now to support this thing in Ottawa, the bridges across the border in Windsor, Detroit, in Alberta, in Calgary, down in Montana.

00:19:22.000 That is why Trudeau is digging his heels in, because he is, at the end of the day, one of the assets of Davos.

00:19:29.000 He is someone who totally believes in this great reset, this build-back better agenda.

00:19:34.000 And so he's gotten his marching orders now to not give in, to not let these truckers get a victory, because if you do, then it will spread like wildfire.

00:19:43.000 Because look, we've had protests before, but not in a 5GW, fifth-generation warfare-type scenario.

00:19:50.000 We've got literally narrative trench warfare going on between the truckers and between Trudeau.

00:19:55.000 And he set it up this way for a very specific reason.

00:19:58.000 He could easily compromise and bring in a mediator or do any of those things, but he won't.

00:20:02.000 And there's a reason why, because he doesn't want it to spread.

00:20:05.000 Now, so something you said I found really interesting there, Jack.

00:20:08.000 You said that basically he's getting his marching orders from Davos.

00:20:12.000 But yet, here's the interesting part: we're seeing across Europe.

00:20:18.000 Now, the latest domino to fall was Boris Johnson.

00:20:22.000 He said he's going to be moving up the elimination of COVID restrictions in the UK by a week because, you know, I guess the numbers are looking good or whatever.

00:20:31.000 It might be a political calculation.

00:20:33.000 So, Boris is an interesting situation because he's got a massive personal scandal that's going on where essentially he broke COVID protocol.

00:20:41.000 And this is something that the left is really going after him for.

00:20:44.000 It's something that even the Tories, the Conservative Party, is going after him for.

00:20:48.000 So he is on his last legs.

00:20:50.000 He's potentially facing a vote of no confidence and maybe even downfall as prime minister.

00:20:56.000 So because of his personal scandal, he's now trying to divert two things.

00:21:00.000 He's trying to wag the dog visit Ukraine-Russia, and he's trying to do everything he can to act as if, oh, no, I get credit for taking out the restrictions.

00:21:09.000 I get credit for the mandate as a way to cover up for the fact that he is facing this personal scandal with his new wife.

00:21:15.000 Yeah, I mean, I genuinely don't understand it.

00:21:19.000 You know, I've, you know, backstory on me slightly.

00:21:23.000 I've actually lived in the UK for the better part of a year.

00:21:26.000 I mean, I'm well aware of the.

00:21:28.000 What did you eat?

00:21:30.000 Yeah.

00:21:31.000 McDonald's.

00:21:31.000 No, I'm kidding.

00:21:33.000 No, you're not.

00:21:34.000 No, I didn't frequent McDonald's.

00:21:36.000 I didn't frequent McDonald's.

00:21:38.000 But every so often you need a good hamburger, not that McDonald's has them.

00:21:40.000 No offense.

00:21:41.000 No offense.

00:21:43.000 But the point is, listen, I'm well aware of the tablet culture.

00:21:48.000 I'm well aware of how they can rip your political head off in an instant.

00:21:53.000 Actually, when I was there, Boris was mayor of London.

00:21:57.000 So I'm well aware of his background.

00:22:00.000 Now, this being said, I don't get the scandal.

00:22:02.000 To me, Boris Johnson was simply being a human being like everybody else was doing.

00:22:06.000 I mean, yeah, there's no pictures of it, but I can guarantee you, you know, the British.

00:22:10.000 I actually think a picture did just drop this morning from the Daily Mirror.

00:22:13.000 Yes.

00:22:14.000 So for the very first time, we do have, it's kind of blurry, but it appears to be a picture.

00:22:18.000 Right, there's a champagne bottle.

00:22:20.000 Yeah.

00:22:20.000 Yeah, yeah, some other things.

00:22:21.000 I saw that.

00:22:22.000 But the point I'm trying to make is, you know, I would just lean into it if I was him.

00:22:27.000 I would just say, listen, I'm a human being.

00:22:29.000 Nobody likes these restrictions.

00:22:31.000 We've all messed up.

00:22:32.000 Now, I understand.

00:22:33.000 I've got, you know, people are watching me.

00:22:35.000 I have to set an example.

00:22:36.000 But, you know, here's the deal.

00:22:38.000 These restrictions aren't working.

00:22:40.000 Omicron swept through the nation anyways.

00:22:42.000 And by the way, that's what this virus does.

00:22:44.000 It goes into an area.

00:22:46.000 It sits for six weeks, four to six weeks.

00:22:49.000 It spikes.

00:22:50.000 It moves on.

00:22:50.000 It comes down.

00:22:51.000 This is the fifth wave, technically, of the virus that we've seen in the nation.

00:22:57.000 So I'm not, listen, I don't understand the controversy, frankly, but you're right.

00:23:02.000 He is fighting for his political life.

00:23:03.000 He's making money.

00:23:04.000 What it is, is that UK politics, they just have a different, it's their hierarchy of scandals is different than the hierarchy of scandals in the U.S., right?

00:23:14.000 So in the U.S., you know, we would see something like that, which we do on a pretty regular basis if you're paying French laundry or SoFi Stadium or Biden.

00:23:24.000 I mean, it's pretty regular and it's in your face.

00:23:26.000 Whereas stuff like Hunter Biden, that's pushed to the side, yet it's obviously riles up the right, as well as, of course, his not only his drug use and crack pipes.

00:23:36.000 You can make lots of jokes about that, but also his deep financial ties with members of the Chinese elite, with Places in Ukraine, whether it be Barisma or other oligarchs that he's involved with.

00:23:46.000 So, those are the scandals that get traction in the U.S. Whereas in the UK, there is still this idea that if you've set a policy in place and then you break your policy, that you have to fall on your sword over that.

00:23:59.000 They still do have that culture.

00:24:00.000 And it's just something that we don't really have in the American tradition, or at least not in the modern tradition.

00:24:05.000 It almost happened in California.

00:24:07.000 Almost.

00:24:08.000 We had a recall, and then he, you know, obviously he blew out our friend Larry Elder in the recall.

00:24:13.000 But nevertheless, we're not going to get into any speculation there on voting integrity.

00:24:20.000 That being said, I just, while we're on that side of the pond, I do want to finish my point: that other nations are starting to lift COVID restrictions.

00:24:30.000 Now, European liberal democracies, part of the West that has, I think, been a part of this collective insanity that we've seen in the last two years, this collective mental break across the West.

00:24:43.000 Are we seeing a return to sanity?

00:24:45.000 You're saying that Davos is sending marching orders, and I know what you mean by that, but we are seeing a break in the dam, and yet Trudeau is doubling down.

00:24:53.000 And, you know, you've even got this because it's not about keeping the restrictions in place.

00:25:01.000 It's about who gets credit for ending the pandemic.

00:25:05.000 It's about who gets to say, who gets to say we go back to normal versus who gets to say we really, there was actually a Democrat lawmaker in upstate New York.

00:25:15.000 I caught him on Twitter earlier today saying this.

00:25:17.000 He said, it's time to give people their lives back.

00:25:21.000 It's time to give people their lives back, which is like, hey, no, no, no, that's not the thing you're supposed to say.

00:25:26.000 You say in the quiet part out loud.

00:25:27.000 You took people's lives away.

00:25:29.000 Now you're giving them back as if you are the unreproachable, right?

00:25:34.000 The oracle of science, the oracle of truth, the oracle of all that is good and right and just in the world through political power.

00:25:42.000 And yet if the truckers are able to be the ones that shift the fault, if they are able to be that fulcrum that shifts the ordinances, Archimedes said that, you know, give me a big enough lever in a fulcrum and I can move the world.

00:25:52.000 The truckers aren't supposed to be the ones to be that fulcrum.

00:25:55.000 That fulcrum is supposed to be the government and that fulcrum is supposed to be the elites.

00:25:59.000 So I guarantee you, this is why you're going to see, look, Trudeau, he didn't talk about de-escalating.

00:26:04.000 He went out there yesterday at the floor of the House of Commons in Ottawa and said they're all a bunch of swastika waivers and racists and extremists and everything else out there.

00:26:13.000 Why?

00:26:14.000 Because he can't give them credit.

00:26:17.000 I think you're spot on.

00:26:18.000 I think that's spot on, Jack.

00:26:20.000 The regime cannot be seen as weak or as the ones that didn't give you your life back.

00:26:26.000 I think that's so well put.

00:26:27.000 It's about who gets credit for this.

00:26:29.000 You reminded me of this clip, clip 43.

00:26:31.000 This is Representative Hakeem Jeffries crediting Biden for all of this recent movement on the science.

00:26:38.000 Clip 43: Job creation is up.

00:26:43.000 Wages are up.

00:26:45.000 Unemployment is down.

00:26:47.000 And the Omicron variant is in retreat.

00:26:50.000 And that's not by accident.

00:26:52.000 That's because under President Biden's leadership, a public health infrastructure was put into place, beginning with the American Rescue Plan without a single Republican vote to ensure that we can do everything possible to crush the virus.

00:27:10.000 And that is what has been happening.

00:27:12.000 What a complete and utter hack.

00:27:15.000 I mean, none of that is remotely the case.

00:27:18.000 None of the lockdowns did anything.

00:27:21.000 There was that John Hopkins study that just came out saying it was, I think 0.2% of deaths maybe were prevented by lockdowns.

00:27:30.000 Meanwhile, we had the devastation of the American economy, the American worker, skyrocketing inflation, deaths of despair, suicide, drug use up.

00:27:39.000 Jack, who gets the credit for this?

00:27:41.000 Who rightfully gets the credit for what we're seeing happen right now?

00:27:45.000 At the end of the day, it's the American people.

00:27:47.000 And if we're going to be a voice to the people out there, you have to understand all along, you have been the ones who have the power.

00:27:54.000 There are always more of us than there are of them.

00:27:56.000 They only have power if you give it to them.

00:27:58.000 You are the ones who are endowed with your rights.

00:28:00.000 You are the ones who are endowed with power.

00:28:02.000 They can only give it if you give up a little of your sovereignty, your family sovereignty, your community sovereignty to them.

00:28:09.000 Well said, Jack.

00:29:34.000 I want to talk about Russia and Ukraine.

00:29:37.000 There was an op-ed that Bernie Sanders wrote today, and we saw Glenn Greenwald is commenting on it, basically saying, hey, this is like usual Russia bashing that's become, you know, sort of like the throwaway line that Democrats have to put in anything that they say or do.

00:29:53.000 But then he makes some great points about how in 1962, we were on the brink of a nuclear war with Russia when they put nuclear warheads 60 miles off the coast, 90 miles off the coast of the United States.

00:30:06.000 Now, we're talking about bringing Ukraine into NATO, potentially.

00:30:10.000 This was started under Bush.

00:30:12.000 And if we observe the spheres of influence argument, what are we to make of that?

00:30:16.000 Does Russia have valid concerns to be nervous about what the U.S. is doing with our partners in NATO?

00:30:22.000 Look, I almost spit out my coffee when I was reading it this morning because I'm like, this is Bernie Sanders, right?

00:30:30.000 The same Bernie Sanders, you know, we know he's a Russia expert.

00:30:33.000 He took his honeymoon there in Moscow back in the, I believe back in the 60s when it was full-on communist USSR.

00:30:40.000 We would know that he loved the politics over there.

00:30:43.000 But it seems that, again, you get these glimmers every once in a while of nationalism from Bernie Sanders, these glimmers of populism where he realizes that, you What?

00:30:54.000 War isn't always the answer the way it seems to be for so many in Washington, D.C.

00:30:58.000 And so, this is something where I think that just like TPP, I'm going to have to go ahead and say Bernie Sanders, like you said, is making some very good points because he says Russia as a state does feel concerned about the encroachment of NATO.

00:31:09.000 I'm just reading from this.

00:31:12.000 To put it simply, Russia, like the United States, still has an interest in the security policies of its neighbors.

00:31:18.000 Does anyone really believe that the United States would not have something to say, for example, if Mexico was able to form a military alliance with a U.S. adversary?

00:31:27.000 So, if anyone remembers the plot of the original Red Dawn written by John Milias, the father of Amanda Milius, that was about Russia and Mexico and Cuba, by the way, joining up together for an invasion of the United States up through the middle.

00:31:40.000 That it's set in Colorado.

00:31:41.000 Today, you'd have the same idea if Mexico was joining a military alliance with, say, the People's Republic of China and that China was going to be suddenly stationing missiles and soldiers along the southern border.

00:31:53.000 I guess if Charlie's down there now, maybe he can give us a look and tell us exactly how far across that would be if the PLA was having soldiers there.

00:32:00.000 It's also the same kind of situation that you saw with the Zimmerman telegram, which is, of course, what led to the United States participation in literally into World War I.

00:32:09.000 We went to war over the Zimmermann telegram of Germany just asking Mexico if they wanted to join a military alliance.

00:32:16.000 We declared war on Germany after that.

00:32:18.000 So we have a long history.

00:32:20.000 And obviously, that is in our strategic interest.

00:32:23.000 So the question really then becomes: if Ukraine is to join NATO, does that mean a military conflict over the peninsula of Crimea?

00:32:30.000 That's really what it all comes down to.

00:32:32.000 And so because Putin is looking at this from a geopolitical strategy and saying, look, he wants that port access to the Black Sea.

00:32:39.000 He knows, you know, the Arctic, by the way, is going to be the next fight over the next 15 to 20 years, but the sea ice just hasn't been melting fast enough for it to become the major power player that they need for exports and for military transport up through the Northeast Passage across the Arctic.

00:32:54.000 Russia is going to become a major power player there, but they're not yet.

00:32:57.000 They still need access to warm water ports, and that's what Crimea gives them access to.

00:33:02.000 That's exactly what this is all about.

00:33:04.000 I think that was a really good breakdown.

00:33:05.000 What if China was forming a military alliance with Mexico?

00:33:09.000 What would that feel like to America?

00:33:10.000 We need to keep that in mind.

00:33:14.000 Thanks, everybody, for tuning in.

00:33:16.000 It was a lot of fun with Jack.
