The Charlie Kirk Show - The Left's Leaders Want More Violence, Now

00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.

00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.

00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.

00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.

00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful.

00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.

00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.

00:00:28.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.

00:00:31.000 Go start a turning point USA college chapter.

00:00:33.000 Go start a turning point USA high school chapter.

00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.

00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.

00:00:38.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.

00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life, and I encourage you to do the same.

00:00:45.000 Here I am.

00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.

00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:49.000 Here we go.

00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts, and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.

00:01:09.000 All right, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:01:11.000 It is February 24th, 2026.

00:01:15.000 Blake's holding it down in Phoenix, Arizona.

00:01:18.000 Hey, Andrew, I guess the first thing we should do is we should just make sure everyone realizes that we did not get rid of the studio because I think that happens every time we have one of us in D.C.

00:01:27.000 We get all of the panicked emails.

00:01:28.000 No, it's all still here.

00:01:30.000 Chair is still here.

00:01:32.000 Nothing has changed.

00:01:33.000 Yeah, that's a good point.

00:01:34.000 Thank you for bringing up what I consider the obvious, but nevertheless, we have to bring it up sometimes.

00:01:39.000 I am in D.C.

00:01:41.000 I was graciously invited to attend the State of the Union by Representative Andy Ogles.

00:01:46.000 And so I'm here in town.

00:01:48.000 I got a lot of busy stuff today ahead of me, but the show must come first.

00:01:54.000 And Blake, unfortunately, there is a clip that it really broke my heart to see it, actually.

00:02:02.000 And we have to keep hitting this topic.

00:02:04.000 It's a terrible topic to talk about, actually.

00:02:06.000 It's my least favorite topic to talk about, but we have to.

00:02:09.000 And it was President Trump, something he said yesterday at the White House.

00:02:14.000 And it's the rise of assassination culture.

00:02:17.000 And we just, we have to do it.

00:02:19.000 We have to address it.

00:02:20.000 So let's get right into it.

00:02:22.000 368.

00:02:24.000 I don't know how long I'll be around.

00:02:26.000 Got a lot of people gunning for me, don't I, huh?

00:02:30.000 But I will not forget them.

00:02:33.000 I'm never going to forget them.

00:02:35.000 I saw that clip, actually, not until this morning, Blake.

00:02:39.000 I actually watched it last night, didn't log it, saw it this morning, and it broke my heart, actually.

00:02:44.000 And of course, he was referencing what happened at Mar a Lago.

00:02:48.000 With the Austin Martin case, where he was killed, apparently trying to assassinate the president, ginned up on conspiracy theories, frustration, whatever, locked inside an ideological echo chamber on social media.

00:03:02.000 And that is the third known assassination attempt against President Trump in the last two years.

00:03:10.000 And of course, that strikes the heart of this show, the show that bears the name Charlie Kirk, who we lost to an assassin's bullet in September.

00:03:22.000 And we have a huge problem.

00:03:24.000 And Charlie knew that we had a huge problem.

00:03:27.000 And it only is getting worse by the day.

00:03:30.000 The rhetoric from the left, the dehumanizing rhetoric from the left, is only getting worse.

00:03:34.000 And we're going to explain that in just a second.

00:03:36.000 But I want to play a couple clips here of Charlie himself acknowledging the rise of left wing political violence in America.

00:03:43.000 This is back in 2020, Charlie raising this issue then, 389.

00:03:48.000 This is going to get really nasty.

00:03:50.000 I just hope you understand.

00:03:50.000 Everyone listen to this.

00:03:52.000 Think of the nastiest moment in 2016.

00:03:54.000 They are not going to let this guy get reelected without the most brutal, drawn out fight.

00:03:58.000 We're going to have the tech companies getting involved.

00:04:00.000 Yeah.

00:04:00.000 The media is going to get worse than ever.

00:04:02.000 They're going to be taking down Twitter accounts left and right.

00:04:04.000 They're going to be taking down videos on YouTube.

00:04:07.000 They are going to be coming after us.

00:04:08.000 They're going to be following us in the middle of the night.

00:04:10.000 They're going to be breaking into our houses.

00:04:12.000 You think I'm joking?

00:04:12.000 They are going to be violent.

00:04:14.000 You will not be able to walk the streets of the MAGA hat without your physical health being put in jeopardy.

00:04:20.000 And I hope it doesn't get that way.

00:04:22.000 I hope that this clip gets unearthed and everything's wonderful.

00:04:25.000 I hope that the country comes together and we have a beautiful Unitarian healing moment in September.

00:04:32.000 And that's 2020, Blake.

00:04:35.000 Many years ago.

00:04:36.000 And he saw it then.

00:04:38.000 And then this clip, we have to play.

00:04:40.000 We have it loaded up now 379.

00:04:42.000 My fear, Senator, and I hope I'm wrong, and let's stay in prayer that I'm wrong, that someone is going to get shot the same way that Steve Scalise got shot and, God forbid, killed.

00:04:53.000 The left is creating a pressure cooker with so many of their rank and file paramilitary troops that very well might result in one of us.

00:05:02.000 Getting shot or killed.

00:05:04.000 God forbid that happens. 0.75

00:05:04.000 We're getting death threats every single day here on The Charlie Kirk Show. 0.75

00:05:11.000 Such a haunting clip, Blake.

00:05:15.000 And there's more like it, I think.

00:05:17.000 I think we continue to find as we go through the archives more times.

00:05:21.000 Charlie would talk about that.

00:05:24.000 And it always hits me because I remember not taking it as seriously.

00:05:30.000 I would always reassure him, Charlie, people don't, for the most part, do that.

00:05:35.000 And he was right to worry. 1.00

00:05:38.000 I was the idiot. 1.00

00:05:39.000 And one reason we're talking about this is not just because of what the president said, but. 1.00

00:05:44.000 There's endless cases of them, of the left deliberately, people who should know better, constantly amping up low level actors, the mentally imbalanced, the mentally unwell, the people who are more likely to get tipped over the edge.

00:06:01.000 And so I was just absolutely set off yesterday.

00:06:05.000 There was an article in The Atlantic Magazine.

00:06:07.000 For those of you who don't read it, The Atlantic is up there with The New York Times as a prestige outlet of what you would call the mainstream left opinion.

00:06:18.000 Getting published there.

00:06:19.000 Yeah, it's like being on the front page of the New York Times.

00:06:22.000 It's more prestigious than the Washington Post.

00:06:24.000 It's like the Wall Street Journal.

00:06:26.000 And one of their editors, Tom Nichols, they slid out this article yesterday, and it is The Republican Party Has a Nazi Problem.

00:06:34.000 Let's see how many times they use the word Nazi in that article.

00:06:37.000 They use the word Nazi in this article at least 15 times.

00:06:42.000 And it just repeatedly says, It just says, The Republicans have a Nazi problem.

00:06:47.000 This means the United States. Has a Nazi problem.

00:06:50.000 The responsibility for defeating it is in the 21st century, falls to everyone who still believes in the American idea. 0.86

00:06:59.000 Just repeatedly saying Nazi, Nazi, Nazi, Nazi about the right.

00:07:04.000 And as I said online last night, it's very clear what's going on here.

00:07:10.000 We had a deranged leftist who's in court today.

00:07:12.000 We're monitoring that, Tyler Robinson.

00:07:14.000 He murdered Charlie because he was whipped up by this rhetoric of Nazis, this rhetoric of genocide.

00:07:21.000 We've had a gunman shoot up an ICE facility and kill multiple detainees, but he wanted to kill ICE officers.

00:07:28.000 We have these insurgents, essentially, in Minneapolis, constantly getting in the face of ICE agents who end up getting shot themselves, but very well, this could end in ICE agents being shot.

00:07:40.000 The entire point is to throw it all into tumult. 0.83

00:07:43.000 We have multiple transgender radicals, and of course, we've had three attempted assassinations of the president that have ended in someone being shot. 0.99

00:07:52.000 And I just can't.

00:07:55.000 It feels deliberate to me that when Tom Nichols goes out here and just writes Nazi, it is the line the left used in the past stochastic terrorism. 0.97

00:08:05.000 It is the rhetoric that drives unwell people over the edge so that they're going to go grab a gun and try to shoot someone because they're nuts and they take this stuff literally. 0.91

00:08:16.000 Yeah, well said.

00:08:17.000 And, you know, remember, Tyler Robinson said that some hate you just can't be negotiated out in reference to Charlie.

00:08:24.000 And just again, I can't.

00:08:27.000 Underscore enough how much that clip from President Trump just broke my heart watching it.

00:08:32.000 And I think it's specifically because of our proximity to Charlie that it hit so hard.

00:08:39.000 Two assassins, would be assassins dead, one in jail for life, and this venom coming from the other side.

00:08:47.000 We don't know whether this person was a mastermind, unhinged, or what, but they are normalizing this violence.

00:08:54.000 It's got to stop.

00:08:55.000 That's Scott Besson, and he's absolutely 100% right.

00:08:59.000 He himself has been targeted by political violence.

00:09:02.000 You don't hear as much about it, but I happen to know.

00:09:05.000 I think it's been reported somewhere.

00:09:06.000 But listen, in recent years, political violence has become increasingly normalized.

00:09:12.000 Shifting from a fringe extremist kind of movement to mainstream discourse.

00:09:17.000 And you don't have to take my word for it.

00:09:18.000 Just go on TikTok.

00:09:20.000 Just go on TikTok.

00:09:21.000 You'll see videos celebrating the targeting of ICE officers all over the place.

00:09:26.000 You'll see them celebrating going after top Trump administration officials.

00:09:33.000 It's assassination culture and it glorifies targeted killings as acts of justice against perceived oppressors, which you could just insert MAGA or conservatives.

00:09:43.000 And it's fueled by social media in these echo chambers.

00:09:46.000 Mangione, his 2024 assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has been celebrated by segments of the far left as heroic resistance.

00:09:57.000 Hashtags like FreeLuigi have gained traction with over 50,000 posts, and they call him a hero.

00:10:05.000 The idolization risks massive amounts of copycat killers.

00:10:11.000 You just look at this graph.

00:10:12.000 This graph is, we've brought it up before, and it's so important.

00:10:15.000 Look at image 31.

00:10:18.000 This was taken, this poll was taken in the immediate aftermath of Charlie's assassination.

00:10:25.000 And the question was posed is it ever justified for citizens to resort to violence in order to achieve political goals? 0.81

00:10:32.000 This is the percent responding yes.

00:10:34.000 In the 18 to 39 group of liberals, 30% said yes, violence was justified.

00:10:42.000 We have other polls that say almost 50% would suggest the same thing for Elon Musk, and over 50%, 55%, would say the same for President Trump.

00:10:52.000 There it is.

00:10:52.000 That's that graphic.

00:10:54.000 That they think it would be justified to kill those men to achieve a political end.

00:10:58.000 Since 2025, assaults on ICE officers have skyrocketed 1,800% overall, with vehicular attacks up 3,200%.

00:11:08.000 Blake mentioned before that.

00:11:10.000 A gunman shot up an ice facility, didn't kill any ice officers, but he killed a few detainees.

00:11:16.000 Incidents include attempted murders and protests turning violent.

00:11:20.000 Charlie's assassination by Tyler Robinson, who cited Charlie's quote unquote hate as his motive, exemplifies far left inspired violence.

00:11:29.000 Post assassination, some online reactions celebrated it.

00:11:32.000 Gross, vile, disgusting online celebrations, mirroring Mangione's fandom and fueling lawsuits over free speech crackdowns.

00:11:41.000 Charlie was assassinated for speaking his mind in the public square.

00:11:46.000 And what is the point?

00:11:47.000 The point is they want to strike at the heart of free expression.

00:11:51.000 And free speech, open discourse.

00:11:53.000 They want to silence conservative voices.

00:11:57.000 It's a terrifying escalation and normalization of political violence and assassination culture.

00:12:04.000 This is why we watch it so closely.

00:12:06.000 This is why we're going to have our eyes on the Tyler Robinson case this afternoon, just a little bit.

00:12:14.000 Yeah.

00:12:14.000 What does this do?

00:12:15.000 It chills dissent, it heightens threats to public officials.

00:12:20.000 You have numbers of the Trump administration living.

00:12:23.000 In military bases in and around DC because they are no longer safe to live in a normal home.

00:12:29.000 If unchecked, this legitimately could unravel the fabric of democracy, replacing ballots with bullets and dialogue with division, pushing America toward a fractured future where voices are silenced not by votes, but by violence.

00:12:46.000 This is much worse than the heckler's veto.

00:12:49.000 This is the assassin's veto, and it must stop.

00:12:52.000 We have to get to root causes.

00:12:54.000 And when you see articles like this from The Atlantic, which is a complete joke, which is an intentional provocation, as Blake said earlier, inviting crazy people to take shots at conservatives by calling them all Nazis, the problem is only going to get worse.

00:13:12.000 It's not going to get better.

00:13:14.000 This is not a prestige publication, this is a joke of a publication. 0.98

00:13:17.000 That wants conservatives dead. 0.98

00:13:20.000 No, I think I got to push back at you on that one, Andrew.

00:13:24.000 That's the problem.

00:13:24.000 It is not a joke publication.

00:13:27.000 First, he's not joking.

00:13:28.000 And second, it really is, despite whatever we'd say, a prestige outlet.

00:13:34.000 Over a million subscribers.

00:13:35.000 They are one of those very rare bastions that still has a huge amount of the prestige, dignity, whatever you want from half a century ago.

00:13:47.000 And that is exactly why it's so dangerous.

00:13:49.000 It's one thing if.

00:13:50.000 These insane things get written in, I don't know, someone's blog, if it's on a Substack post.

00:13:55.000 This is one of the rare publications that can blast out an insane take to millions of people and launder it as a legitimate one.

00:14:05.000 And the stuff he says in the article is just so over the top.

00:14:09.000 We should highlight some of these.

00:14:11.000 Throw up 386.

00:14:12.000 The Department of Homeland Security used an anthem beloved by neo Nazi groups.

00:14:17.000 By God, we'll have our home again in a recruitment ad.

00:14:21.000 The Labor Department.

00:14:22.000 Hung a banner of Donald Trump's face from its headquarters as if Washington were Berlin in 1936.

00:14:29.000 It posted expressions on social media such as America is for Americans, an obvious riff on the Nazi slogan Germany is for Americans.

00:14:38.000 How about it's just common sense?

00:14:40.000 Yes, it's common sense.

00:14:42.000 It's a repeatedly overriding thing in all of these hysterical takes that they just kind of BS you, whatever you want to say, about what.

00:14:54.000 You can tell what your grade is.

00:14:55.000 It's obviously not insane to say America should look out for Americans.

00:14:58.000 America should be for Americans.

00:15:00.000 So they have to just say, well, it's a Nazi slogan. 0.63

00:15:02.000 It's a Nazi slogan to say that.

00:15:03.000 You don't want to be a Nazi, do you?

00:15:05.000 And then in the article, he has to cover for the fact that he's like, well, yeah, the left, we've lionized Angela Davis, a college professor who helped murder a judge.

00:15:16.000 We all partied with Bill Ayers, a terrorist who mailed bombs to the military and to Congress.

00:15:22.000 But that's different. 0.72

00:15:25.000 Our terrorism's okay.

00:15:27.000 I think he gives up the. 0.51

00:15:28.000 The real story here in 385, this image.

00:15:32.000 Critics of the GOP have long argued, they've long argued, something like the Trump movement and the emergence of a new American Nazism was inevitable.

00:15:41.000 That conservatism as a belief system inevitably decays into fascism.

00:15:47.000 So, this is their core ideology.

00:15:50.000 And this is why you see these unhinged reactions across the Atlantic, by the way, to the rise of conservative populist movements like MAGA, because they believe that it's a runaway train that they must stop. 0.98

00:16:02.000 By not just punching a Nazi, by killing a Nazi. 0.98

00:16:06.000 And make no mistake, that is the through line. 0.99

00:16:08.000 That if force was justified to take out Hitler and the Third Reich in Germany, well, then force is justified to kill conservatives here because it inevitably decays into fascism. 0.90

00:16:19.000 This is their fear. 0.98

00:16:21.000 They stay up at night thinking that all of you watching this right now are Nazis, that I'm a Nazi, that we're all fascists. 1.00

00:16:27.000 And so why not just take out a gun and shoot one of us? 1.00

00:16:30.000 They've done it before and they're going to do it again. 0.99

00:16:35.000 Folks, let me tell you something straight up.

00:16:36.000 I'm extremely picky about what I put in my body and what companies we support here.

00:17:48.000 Chip Roy, great congressman from the state of Texas, running for attorney general in the state of Texas.

00:17:54.000 Welcome back to the show, sir.

00:17:55.000 Great to be on, fellas.

00:17:56.000 Hope you're doing well.

00:17:57.000 Thank you.

00:17:57.000 Yeah, well, you know, to be honest, and I'd love for you to chime in on this, Chip.

00:18:02.000 There's, it's just, you know, we spent the first two seconds of the show going over this ridiculous article from the Atlantic on assassinate, or calling everybody Nazis. 0.87

00:18:11.000 That is the conservative Nazis, fascists, also. 0.99

00:18:14.000 And I just can't help but make the connection that they want conservatives dead. 0.97

00:18:19.000 The dehumanizing rhetoric, this assassination attempt again against President Trump, please, Congressman.

00:18:27.000 Well, as you all know, because you all had witness testimony participate, we had a hearing in the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, which I chair, to address this topic.

00:18:39.000 And one of the things I did immediately after the brutal murder of Charlie was to call on a special select committee, which so many of my member colleagues had joined with me in that call.

00:18:50.000 And we haven't done it yet.

00:18:51.000 But I think we need to be very focused on the flow of the money and the organized effort by the radical Marxist left to target conservatives, to target Christians to target our Judeo Christian values, all in an intentional way to foment that hatred and divide us, which then puts a specific target on our key conservative leaders, whether it was President Trump, whether it was Charlie, whether it was, as we had, and you know, Tony Perkins,

00:19:18.000 whose Family Research Council was targeted about a decade ago and shot up when the Southern Poverty Law Center made very clear and put them on their hate map list.

00:19:28.000 And now that I'm daring to co chair the Sharia Free America Caucus that I co founded with Keith Self, my fellow Texan.

00:19:35.000 Now, CARE is putting us on a hate list. 0.98

00:19:38.000 I can't remember what it's called, but somehow, you know, I'm now a hater because I believe we should stand up on our Judeo Christian values and defend those against the Islamification of the country. 0.91

00:19:48.000 Now, I just touched on a lot of issues, but the main one is the organized effort by the Marxist left that is well funded, it's purposeful, and they are putting targets on us and using rhetoric intentionally to raise that temperature. 0.99

00:20:02.000 You're 100% right, Congressman, and I'm absolutely sick of it.

00:20:05.000 I've been sick of it.

00:20:07.000 Charlie was sick of it.

00:20:08.000 He called it out.

00:20:09.000 He warned about it.

00:20:10.000 He lost his life because we're not taking this seriously.

00:20:14.000 And our colleagues on the other side of the aisle, as we like to say, continue to call us fascist Nazis and putting us on hate lists.

00:20:23.000 This was SPLC put Turning Point on its hate map, Image 27.

00:20:28.000 And I mean, you sort of wonder does this contribute to this cycle of violence?

00:20:33.000 And it's coming from the left.

00:20:34.000 And I'm so sick of hearing about how we have a violence problem on both sides.

00:20:37.000 Maybe we do.

00:20:38.000 Maybe it's rising on the right, and we're going to see it emerge.

00:20:40.000 But right now, it's coming from the left to the right.

00:20:42.000 And I'm just sick of it.

00:20:44.000 I know this isn't why we had you on the show today, sir, but I'm grateful for your input.

00:20:49.000 It's just, it's got to stop.

00:20:51.000 No, I'll talk about whatever issue you all want to talk about.

00:20:53.000 We can talk about the State of Union address.

00:20:54.000 We can talk about Sharia law.

00:20:56.000 But really, this is the central issue.

00:20:59.000 Okay.

00:20:59.000 All of the issues that we're going to address as conservatives, as God fearing Americans, all go through this central issue that they are an organized bunch of Marxists who want to undermine our country.

00:21:12.000 That's it.

00:21:13.000 Like what Charlie, you know, when I go out on the campaign trail, I talk about a number of things about Charlie.

00:21:19.000 And by the way, I'm careful.

00:21:21.000 Charlie was a good friend in the political circles.

00:21:23.000 I don't go around masquerading like he and I were best buds, but talk about responsive.

00:21:27.000 Like I would text Charlie, hey, what's going on?

00:21:30.000 Our last substantive conversation was about the Islamification of America and the West. 0.54

00:21:36.000 But when I talk about Charlie, I say two things.

00:21:38.000 One, he wasn't afraid to call out that organized bunch of Marxists and the extent to which they are organized against us.

00:21:46.000 And two, and most importantly, it wasn't the freedom shirt, respectfully.

00:21:50.000 It wasn't talking about limited government and constitution, all great things, all important.

00:21:55.000 It was that he was going to college campuses and proclaiming the gospel of Christ.

00:22:00.000 And I want to stop and hold there for a second because nothing else matters.

00:22:05.000 The freedom that we're talking about, the ability to carry out our lives according to our conscience, none of that matters if we're not proclaiming the gospel of Christ.

00:22:16.000 And we get wrapped around our American axle and we hide behind the First Amendment to say that we don't talk about those things.

00:22:24.000 Charlie talked about those things.

00:22:26.000 TPUSA leads on those things.

00:22:29.000 Keep doing it.

00:22:30.000 It is central.

00:22:31.000 And that organized Marxist left.

00:22:34.000 It's all biblical. 0.86

00:22:36.000 The advance of the Islamification, that's all biblical. 1.00

00:22:40.000 We are at war. 1.00

00:22:42.000 We are at war in this world, and it is a predicted war.

00:22:45.000 We need to gird our loins for that battle, and we need to be proud of it. 0.97

00:22:49.000 We need to be defensive of our families, our heritage, and our community, and who we are as Americans, and what that's meant for the world, and why Sharia law is bad, and why the Islamification of America would destroy all that is good and great about Western civilization and what America means for it. 0.96

00:23:06.000 So, sorry for that little bit of a rant, but That's so central to everything. 0.87

00:23:10.000 Congressman, I just want to say quickly that you've always been very gracious in the way you talk about Charlie, and Charlie and you were great friends, and he believed in you and he had your back.

00:23:20.000 You came on the show constantly with Charlie, and I'm grateful that you come on the show with us. 0.93

00:23:25.000 You have helped make the Islamification of Texas a massive issue in that primary season, in that state. 1.00

00:23:35.000 Why is this happening? 1.00

00:23:36.000 We've talked about this before, but can we get brass tacks? 0.99

00:23:39.000 Like, who the heck's funding this crap? 0.99

00:23:41.000 Like, who's green lighting it? 1.00

00:23:43.000 Who's hiding behind whatever law or statute?

00:23:47.000 Why can't we make this stop in a proud red state of Texas?

00:23:52.000 Well, we can if we choose to. 0.72

00:23:54.000 And I'm proud to co chair the Sharia Free America Caucus with Keith Self.

00:23:58.000 I've introduced legislation to take away the tax status for care.

00:24:01.000 I introduced legislation to vet people for their adherence to Sharia law. 0.91

00:24:06.000 And I've introduced legislation to pause all immigration until we do those things and other things to get our house in order. 0.98

00:24:12.000 In terms of who we are as Americans, we have 51.5 million foreign born people. 0.93

00:24:16.000 That's 16% of the population.

00:24:18.000 That's the highest percentage we've ever had.

00:24:21.000 We froze immigration in the 1920s. 1.00

00:24:23.000 We should do it again. 1.00

00:24:24.000 But to answer your question, Texas has three or four key problems.

00:24:28.000 Number one, Texas is suffering from a failure by the federal government to secure the border, both from an illegal immigration standpoint, but importantly, legal immigration.

00:24:39.000 We've allowed the abuse of H 1B visas, of so called diversity visas, of the SIV issues with respect to Afghanistan. 0.99

00:24:47.000 And all of these things to bring loads of people into our country post 9 11 who are Islamists.

00:24:53.000 Number two, Texas, with all due respect to our current leadership, has sold itself to the corporate establishment in Texas that wants labor. 0.97

00:25:04.000 And they hide behind saying, we need, quote, skilled labor.

00:25:08.000 But the truth is, they're just importing people that do not adhere to our values.

00:25:12.000 And at some point, you've got to defend Texas.

00:25:15.000 And as attorney general, my message to a lot of the business leaders is, I'm going to defend the state of Texas and our value system as much as I am the needs for businesses to have labor.

00:25:26.000 Let's make sure we're building our labor from within and make sure we defend our values.

00:25:30.000 But I think those two things wide open borders, a loose legal immigration system on issues bringing people in from countries that are Islamic centric, and then businesses driving the agenda in Texas has driven so many people into the state of Texas, again, plus the open border. 0.87

00:25:48.000 I completely agree. 0.76

00:25:49.000 Part of it is a federal issue with this mass immigration.

00:25:51.000 We're still doing 1.2 million.

00:25:53.000 Million green cards a year, okay?

00:25:54.000 And a lot of this is visa, lottery, a lot of this is family reunification. 1.00

00:25:58.000 We're importing the third world still, even with the border closed, and we're not addressing it. 0.99

00:26:02.000 Secondly, I do agree Texas is beholden to corporate interests. 1.00

00:26:05.000 It just is.

00:26:06.000 You go around that state, and developers are running roughshod.

00:26:10.000 So something's got to give.

00:26:11.000 Speaking of Texas, though, Congressman, you surprised me.

00:26:16.000 You have spoken out on the Brandon Herrera race.

00:26:20.000 Explain why you chose to do that and why now.

00:26:24.000 So two years ago, at the very end of the primary in May, I endorsed Brandon Herrera.

00:26:29.000 I know Brandon, and he loves freedom.

00:26:32.000 He's a big Second Amendment guy.

00:26:34.000 We met, we visited.

00:26:35.000 And frankly, I probably should have endorsed him sooner, but it's tough.

00:26:38.000 It's tough when you, you know, with your delegation in Texas, you know, we usually don't endorse against each other.

00:26:44.000 But with all due respect, Tony had been against us on so many issues.

00:26:48.000 HR 2, HR 29, my bill, I won't get into the weeds, but he was a thorn in our side when we were trying to secure the border.

00:26:54.000 So, I ultimately endorsed Brandon.

00:26:56.000 He came within 150 votes or so of winning that primary.

00:27:00.000 And I wish he had.

00:27:01.000 And then I, you know, look, you come back together, you work with your colleagues.

00:27:05.000 I was inclined to support Brandon, but because I'm running statewide in Texas, I've largely stayed out of primaries, right?

00:27:11.000 It's just not that advised.

00:27:12.000 If you're running statewide, especially, you know, when you're first running statewide, to go jump in a bunch of primaries.

00:27:18.000 But this one mattered.

00:27:19.000 And then when the news was breaking about Tony, we've known some of these things that were out there, but they're rumors, and you got to give People do process.

00:27:27.000 You don't jump to conclusions based on what's put out on social media.

00:27:31.000 But enough smoke tells me there's fire.

00:27:34.000 And we need a standard bearer for Texas 23 who can hold that seat.

00:27:38.000 And we need a God fearing, strong conservative.

00:27:41.000 And I think Brandon fits that bill.

00:27:43.000 So yesterday, I think I called on Tony to step out of the race and I endorsed Brandon.

00:27:48.000 I think I was the first Texan and one of the first in the Congress to do it.

00:27:53.000 And, you know, I haven't yet called on him to resign because I think due process matters.

00:27:58.000 I think you got to like.

00:27:59.000 Get authenticity of information and all of that.

00:28:02.000 And I think it's dangerous.

00:28:03.000 For example, this Florida woman, Democrat, who's indicted, I haven't called on her to resign yet either, even though she probably should.

00:28:11.000 But, you know, I think you got to let due process play out.

00:28:13.000 Sorry, I didn't mean to filibuster that.

00:28:15.000 No, no, no.

00:28:16.000 You're great.

00:28:16.000 And we want to talk about the cartels.

00:28:18.000 You've been leading on that issue too, Congressman.

00:28:20.000 There's so much there.

00:28:20.000 Please, everybody go to chiproy.com, check out his campaign, get behind him like Charlie was behind him.

00:28:26.000 We think you're going to do a great job, Congressman, as Attorney General in Texas.

00:28:30.000 And we'll have you back on again soon.

00:28:32.000 Much news to discuss.

00:28:32.000 Thank you, sir.

00:28:33.000 Thanks, guys.

00:28:34.000 Appreciate y'all.

00:28:35.000 Thanks for the support and the endorsement.

00:28:36.000 God bless.

00:28:36.000 God bless you.

00:28:39.000 Hi, folks.

00:28:40.000 Andrew Colvett here.

00:28:41.000 I'd like to tell you about my friends over at Y Refi.

00:28:44.000 You've probably been hearing me talk about Y Refi for some time now.

00:28:48.000 We are all in with these guys.

00:28:50.000 If you or someone you know is struggling with private student loan debt, take my advice and give them a call.

00:29:13.000 We go to campuses all over America and we see student after student who's drowning in private student loan debt.

00:29:19.000 Many of them don't even know how much they owe.

00:29:22.000 Why Refi can help.

00:29:23.000 Just go to whyrefi.com.

00:29:25.000 That's the letter Y, then refi.com.

00:29:29.000 And remember, whyrefi doesn't care what your credit score is.

00:29:32.000 Just go to whyrefi.com and tell them your friend Andrew sent you.

00:29:38.000 So I do have breaking news from the Tyler Robinson trial.

00:29:45.000 Blake, and you've been following this along with us.

00:29:48.000 So, there was a motion by the defense to dismiss the prosecutor because one of the prosecution's team, other prosecutors on the team, had a daughter there.

00:29:59.000 And apparently, they moved to disqualify the entire prosecution because of this.

00:30:04.000 A motion, if accepted, would have delayed this trial enormously.

00:30:09.000 I think it's difficult to overstate that.

00:30:12.000 And the court has now denied the motion, which is great news.

00:30:17.000 For justice.

00:30:18.000 Yes, it was just, it was a big delaying effort.

00:30:21.000 It was kind of a Hail Mary.

00:30:23.000 You'd force out all the prosecutors in the office.

00:30:26.000 Then they would have to send it to either the AG's office or a different county.

00:30:30.000 You delay it for months.

00:30:31.000 You muddle the case more.

00:30:32.000 You drive people more into a frenzy about things.

00:30:35.000 Because as we've said, the best counter to a lot of the wild things we've seen online that we've seen in our own inboxes that we've seen on X is people want justice for what happened.

00:30:46.000 They need to see the process playing out.

00:30:48.000 And it's been so frustrating to people. 1.00

00:30:51.000 Seeing how glacial things are moving.

00:30:54.000 It's been frustrating to us, above all.

00:30:56.000 We're constantly asking okay, when is there finally going to be a journey?

00:30:59.000 When is there finally going to be a trial?

00:31:01.000 They were trying to drag it out even further.

00:31:04.000 And very thankfully, the judge did rule against this motion.

00:31:08.000 So that means we're going to at least stay on the schedule that we'd set before.

00:31:14.000 So here's the actual language.

00:31:16.000 The court now reads its ruling.

00:31:18.000 We're getting video just breaking, which will be made available and posted later today.

00:31:22.000 Before the court defends its motion to disqualify Utah County Attorney's Office, defendant argues that high level prosecutor assigned to this case has a concurrent conflict of interest.

00:31:32.000 And because no efforts were made to screen him, the entire office should be disqualified.

00:31:37.000 Again, this is coming from the defense.

00:31:39.000 This is a judge ruling.

00:31:40.000 Because defendant has not established a factual basis for finding conflict of interest or objective appearance of impropriety, Rising to a constitutional concern.

00:31:49.000 His motion is respectfully denied.

00:31:52.000 So, as we looked, so this was a big one that we marked on the calendar to see if this case was going to get delayed or if the speedy trial promise that we are afforded, well, in his case, as the defendant, was actually going to be met.

00:32:06.000 But yes, to Blake's point, this was a delay tactic.

00:32:10.000 It has been denied by the court, so we're grateful there.

00:32:13.000 So, next landmarks to keep an eye on, we are all eyes on May.

00:32:19.000 May is going to be the big month, and that is going to be the preliminary hearing where the prosecution team, which will now stay in place, is going to present the mountain of evidence that they have accumulated over the course of these months against Tyler Robinson.

00:32:34.000 I'm told a lot of this is evidence that you have not seen or heard before.

00:32:38.000 Some of it was in the original charging documents, but there is going to be additional evidence.

00:32:44.000 And, you know, I just hearken back to the words of Jonathan Turley.

00:32:49.000 Who reviewed this case and said that if 90%, if the defense was successful in getting rid of 90% of the evidence against Tyler Robinson, he'd still be found guilty and subject to capital punishment for his crime.

00:33:05.000 And so to think that you could lose 90% of what we already know exists, still get a guilty verdict, but then there's even more that they haven't yet made public, mountains more potentially, is a very, I guess, comforting thought as we.

00:33:21.000 Seek justice for Charlie.

00:33:23.000 Blake, I don't know if you have any other thoughts on this matter, but it's a big moment.

00:33:28.000 It's just a genuine mercy.

00:33:29.000 We're very happy to see it.

00:33:34.000 I think we can't talk about it as much for obvious reasons, but it's trying for us to observe it.

00:33:40.000 It causes us a lot of stress to see updates like this, and we do have to trust the process.

00:33:48.000 It's good when the process plays along and shows you what you want to see, which is this sort of thing.

00:33:54.000 And we are loaded.

00:33:55.000 We have the clip 404.

00:33:56.000 The court now reads its ruling, which will be made available and posted later today.

00:34:05.000 Before the court is defendant's motion to disqualify Utah County Attorney's Office.

00:34:10.000 Defendant argues that high level prosecutor assigned to this case has a concurrent conflict of interest and because no efforts were made to screen him, the entire office should be disqualified.

00:34:23.000 Because defendant has not established a factual basis for a finding of conflict of interest or an objective appearance of impropriety rising to a constitutional concern, his motion is respectfully denied.

00:34:36.000 Good.

00:34:38.000 And I guess they're moving to a death penalty discussion upcoming, so we're going to continue monitoring that.

00:34:45.000 But this is, I feel like, been a really important show, actually.

00:34:49.000 You sometimes wake up in the morning and you don't know which ones are going to be important.

00:34:52.000 When I saw that, I think they're all important, but some are more so.

00:34:56.000 But when I saw that clip from President Trump, it was this moment of vulnerability from the commander in chief ahead of what's typically considered.

00:35:06.000 The most or one of the most important addresses to the nation on the calendar.

00:35:11.000 And so he's going to talk about, you know, the economy, the wins, focus on domestic tranquility and success.

00:35:20.000 And overshadowing so much of this conversation tonight is this idea that the left wants political violence exacted upon its political enemies, conservatives, MAGA.

00:35:34.000 God bless Chip Roy for addressing it in committee, but more work needs to be done.

00:35:39.000 This needs to be rooted out at a very deep level.

00:35:42.000 It stole our friend from us, the host of this show, whose name is still on this show.

00:35:48.000 It has almost taken President Trump's life, countless others in the administration.

00:35:55.000 And it is a pall that hangs over this whole country.

00:35:58.000 It's a tragedy, it's an evil, and it must be blotted out.

00:36:01.000 Pray for America, pray for this country.
