00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody.
00:00:00.000 Today in the Charlie Kirk show, why is it that the people in charge of our country are so adamant to continue to lead us into economic crisis?
00:00:09.000 We talk about the philosophical reason this is happening and more.

00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here, we go.
00:00:50.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:52.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:54.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:57.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:00.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:01.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:02.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:04.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:09.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:11.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:20.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:23.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:32.000 We are traveling right now in beautiful Southern California.
00:01:35.000 I just gave a speech to the conservative group at the Southern Baptist Convention, and we are here now.
00:01:44.000 A lot to talk about, a lot to dive into.
00:01:47.000 But what is really leading the news today is something that we've been warning about for many months and, quite honestly, many years, which is we are now officially living through an economic catastrophe.
00:02:00.000 Now, what really should bother you and worry you is how radical our politics became when our economy was stable.
00:02:08.000 When economies are stable and economies are not in free fall, typically your politics get very boring.
00:02:16.000 People don't want to change things if wages are going up and people are able to vacation.
00:02:22.000 Radical ideas, ideas that otherwise would have seemed untenable, tend to be introduced.
00:02:28.000 They tend to be entertained when people start to experience material and economic misery.
00:02:35.000 So, the fact that we had these insane ideas of mass wealth confiscation, open borders, the ideas that have permeated the left, we had that all the while the economy was doing very well.
00:02:49.000 In fact, the best economy, arguably, in American history that we experienced in 2017, 18, and 19.
00:02:55.000 Now, you don't have to like Donald Trump.
00:02:57.000 Many of you love Donald Trump.
00:02:58.000 Many of you hate Donald Trump, but his economy was bulletproof.
00:03:02.000 It was bulletproof because for all of the criticisms that you might lay against Donald Trump, President Trump did come from a viewpoint where he agreed with the founding fathers and the framers that there are laws of nature and nature's God.
00:03:18.000 This colloquially gets called common sense.
00:03:21.000 That is a good filler term, by the way.
00:03:24.000 Common sense.
00:03:25.000 And the bumper sticker is common sense isn't too common anymore.
00:03:29.000 But a different, a deeper way to explain what common sense is, is that you believe that there are anchors to our existence.
00:03:36.000 That you believe that there is nature.
00:03:39.000 Thomas Jefferson wrote it in the laws of nature and nature is God.
00:03:42.000 You don't have to be a Christian to believe that.
00:03:44.000 If you are a Christian, you also believe it.
00:03:46.000 You don't even have to be a deist to believe that.
00:03:49.000 You have to believe that there are certain truths that we must honor in our existence.
00:03:55.000 President Trump knew this instinctively.
00:03:57.000 Why did he know this instinctively?
00:03:59.000 Because he lived in the natural and real world his entire life.
00:04:02.000 He didn't live in the academic world or the political world.
00:04:04.000 He didn't live in the clouds.
00:04:06.000 He literally lived on job sites.
00:04:08.000 When you try to build a building in downtown Manhattan, you don't get to will it to exist.
00:04:14.000 You don't get to say, well, it's my feeling that this beam is going to support the structure.
00:04:19.000 No, you must prove it.
00:04:21.000 Donald Trump lived as a realist.
00:04:25.000 He lived in a world that was anchored by the laws of physics, by the laws of mathematics, by the laws of biology.
00:04:32.000 Now, mind you, most of you also live in that world.
00:04:36.000 Whether you are a carpenter, a mechanic, an accountant, most of our audience, almost all of you, have to live by certain truths.
00:04:49.000 Whereas the Democrat Party is ruled by people that don't have to live by those truths.
00:04:54.000 Janet Yellen being one of them, Jerome Powell being another.
00:04:58.000 They don't have to live by the laws of nature and nature is God.
00:05:00.000 Money is nothing more than a construct.
00:05:02.000 Gender is nothing more than a colonialist oppression tradition.
00:05:07.000 One of the reasons why Donald Trump was able to create such a booming economy is: yes, of course, he was a businessman, but he also knew bad ideas when he saw them.
00:05:17.000 Like, wait a second, we can create money out of thin air?
00:05:19.000 That doesn't make any sense.
00:05:20.000 We keep on offshoring manufacturing to China.
00:05:23.000 That doesn't make any sense.
00:05:24.000 He had what is the word that defines good leaders, prudence.
00:05:28.000 I believe Ron DeSantis has prudence as well.
00:05:30.000 It comes from a Greek word, which means prudentia.
00:05:34.000 Now, what you have right now, though, is a very dangerous combination running the White House.
00:05:40.000 You have an arrogant, ignorant, ideological crusade being basically deploying on America, and America is the experiment.
00:05:51.000 America right now is the experiment of how far can ideology take you.
00:05:56.000 So, ideology, especially if it's rooted in the belief that nature is not stable, will very quickly and rapidly destroy your civilization.
00:06:11.000 So, what should concern all of us is that these radical ideas started to get inserted into the zeitgeist, which really is the spirit of the times, when our economy was booming.
00:06:23.000 Now that we're getting to an unstable point, I think that we're going to start to see even more radical ideas.
00:06:30.000 Our job as conservatives is hopefully take people back to reality and anchor them to truth.
00:06:37.000 But we shouldn't be really surprised by this.
00:06:40.000 The same Democrat Party and the same left that believes you could pick your own gender because you feel a certain way, they believe that you can chart your own existence based on your own emotional feeling.
00:06:56.000 They ignore the laws of nature and the laws of biology.
00:06:59.000 Why on earth would they honor the laws of economics?
00:07:02.000 They wouldn't.
00:07:05.000 So, a very fundamental question that we need to ask out of our leaders or the people running our country.
00:07:10.000 We got an email, freedom at charliekirk.com from our listeners.
00:07:13.000 Charlie, stop calling them leaders.
00:07:14.000 Call them the people running our country.
00:07:16.000 I think that's actually very fair.
00:07:17.000 It's good feedback.
00:07:19.000 Are you the designer and the master of nature, or are you simply a participant or a spectator?
00:07:27.000 This is the question that is unfolding in front of us.
00:07:30.000 It's a deeper question you're not going to see explored on most conservative media.
00:07:34.000 It's a question you're not going to see on cable news.
00:07:37.000 They're kind of just going to say, Yeah, Biden, his economy is so terrible.
00:07:40.000 Okay, we know that.
00:07:41.000 But why?
00:07:43.000 Why is this happening?
00:07:46.000 It's because Biden and his team, unless Biden, he's obviously just being kind of puppeteered by the people around him.
00:07:53.000 They believe that they are the masters of nature.
00:07:57.000 How else would you explain giving puberty blockers to a 12-year-old?
00:08:00.000 Nature is nothing more than a construct that we can override with technology.
00:08:05.000 12-year-old thinks that she is a boy or he is a girl.
00:08:09.000 We can override that with our own scientific progress.
00:08:13.000 Now, this is one of the things that drives our obsession and our religious fanaticism behind the scientific progress, behind people like Anthony Fauci, that somehow we are going to get godlike powers out of scientific exploration.
00:08:34.000 You see, in order to be a conservative, you must come after these things with some form of humility.
00:08:42.000 You must recognize that people from every corner of the country have the same needs, wants, and desires, and that even though they might have different religious views, they might have different cultural tendencies, they might have different diets, they all need and want the same thing.
00:08:54.000 And those laws are applicable to every civilization, every people, at every time.
00:08:59.000 That is what a conservative believes.
00:09:01.000 Put simply, we believe in the unchanging natural law, and we don't want to try to change it because not only if you don't recognize it, that's bad enough.
00:09:09.000 But if you try to change it, you will turn your society into turmoil.
00:09:14.000 You will go into bedlam quickly.
00:09:17.000 More people have died in the last 100 years.
00:09:20.000 Over 100 million people have died from intentional murder, starvation, gulags, or concentration camps because of a small group of people that believe that they could declare war on nature.
00:09:29.000 Nature will win.
00:09:31.000 To take a more religious tone, we believe God will win, but to make it more applicable to our entire audience, nature does not lose.
00:09:38.000 We believe nature is stable.
00:09:40.000 It is unchanging.
00:09:42.000 This is, again, what drives me nuts about the transgender argument.
00:09:47.000 That be very careful trying to use chemicals to try to destroy the nature of a young child.
00:09:54.000 But a part of nature that gets glossed over, a part of nature that doesn't always get studied closely enough, is what is the nature when it comes to economics.
00:10:07.000 Whether it's in Venezuela, 12th century medieval Rome, Persia, the Chinese Empire, the Indus River Valley, the laws of economics never change.
00:10:22.000 And they're so simple, but it requires a dose of humility that our arrogant rulers refuse to recognize.
00:10:33.000 I want to tell you guys about Legacy Box.
00:10:35.000 Legacy Box is the simplest and safest way to digitize all your aging videotapes, camcorder tapes, and more.
00:10:41.000 Look, it was a wake-up call for me when one of our team members' homes burned down.
00:10:44.000 I was like, whoa, all this family memories gone, vanished, vaporized.
00:10:49.000 Where are your family's old film reels?
00:10:52.000 It's going to be fire season in parts of California soon.
00:10:54.000 Forest fires all across America.
00:10:56.000 What happens if your vacation home burns down or your home burns down?
00:10:58.000 God forbid.
00:11:00.000 But will your memories be saved?
00:11:01.000 How are you going to pass them down to your kids?
00:11:03.000 Well, here's how Legacy Box works: you put them all in a box, you send it off to them, they barcode it, they save it forever, and it goes in the cloud, and you're able to make your legacy permanent and preserved.
00:11:15.000 What memories do you wish you could relive or pass down to your kids?
00:11:19.000 Look, each kit includes everything you need to safely pack and send your recorded moments.
00:11:24.000 Each item is hand-digitized by a hand by 200 trained technicians right here in America.
00:11:28.000 So experience the joy and excitement of rewatching your wedding day, baby's first steps, or Christmas mornings.
00:11:34.000 We love Legacy Box.
00:11:35.000 We love using it here on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:11:36.000 Many of our Turning Point USA team members love it.
00:11:39.000 So go to the Legacy Box event.
00:11:41.000 The Legacy Box Father's Day event is happening now.
00:11:44.000 Go to legacybox.com/slash Charlie and say 50%.
00:11:47.000 Legacy Box is great for your family or is a gift for your father.
00:11:50.000 That's legacybox.com slash Charlie for 50% off.
00:11:54.000 LegacyBox.com slash Charlie.
00:11:59.000 So when you deal with a side that does not recognize natural reality, that does not believe that there's an overarching design to our existence, you, of course, are talking about people that want to be God themselves.
00:12:12.000 It's nothing new.
00:12:13.000 We've seen it.
00:12:14.000 It's somewhat predictable almost.
00:12:17.000 When you see people that get into power, they themselves want to turn into deities.
00:12:21.000 This is one of the reasons why the Founding Fathers were so extraordinary.
00:12:24.000 Founding Fathers are worthy of study.
00:12:26.000 They're worthy of examination.
00:12:29.000 Were they perfect?
00:12:30.000 Of course not.
00:12:32.000 However, the Founding Fathers were exceptional and they were brilliant.
00:12:36.000 You see, the Founding Fathers, after they won the war against the British Empire, very well could have made the Washingtonian, Hamiltonian, Jacksonian monarchy.
00:12:47.000 They could have subdivided America and made every state its own kind of feudal territory because that's all humans knew before then.
00:12:57.000 Before the Founding Fathers broke away and won against Great Britain, won against King George, the people of America, they wouldn't have known any different.
00:13:08.000 Now, there was a grassroots desire for self-government, thanks to the strong biblical teachings of Wesley and Mayhew, Jonathan Mayhew and Jonathan Edwards and Whitfield, thanks to the colonial preachers that laid the foundation, Roger Williams as well, that started the foundation for what ended up being the revival of self-government, the breakthrough in time, the 4,000-year leap forward.
00:13:37.000 And because of all of that, the Founding Fathers that decided to go a different way, they might have had many shortcomings, but they didn't have a shortcoming where they thought they were God.
00:13:52.000 I can't say the same about our current president or this current regime.
00:13:56.000 Now, do I think Joe Biden thinks that he is God?
00:13:58.000 I'm not saying that.
00:13:59.000 He certainly thinks he's close to it, though.
00:14:01.000 Everything that Biden and his team around him does is an all-out, almost vengeful, spiteful war against nature.
00:14:11.000 They're almost mad at nature.
00:14:13.000 And when I say nature, I don't mean the ponds and the rivers and the sequoia trees.
00:14:18.000 I mean the design of existence.
00:14:21.000 They're almost annoyed by it.
00:14:24.000 They almost want to exert their hierarchy, their autonomy, to be able to crush an unborn child, to castrate a 12-year-old using puberty blockers, to create trillions of dollars out of thin air.
00:14:40.000 It's almost there is a spite that there is an existence they didn't design that they have to be subservient to.
00:14:49.000 This isn't hard for us as Christians.
00:14:51.000 This isn't hard for practicing Jewish believers.
00:14:54.000 It's very fundamental.
00:14:55.000 There is a God and you are not him, number one, number two.
00:14:58.000 We all have that in common.
00:15:00.000 But the left does not.
00:15:03.000 All of you are experiencing this economic crash right now.
00:15:08.000 Crashflation is what we call it on this program.
00:15:11.000 We've been predicting it for over two years.
00:15:13.000 Republicans and Democrats brought this to you.
00:15:15.000 $5 to $7 trillion of new money created out of thin air, in addition to the $4 trillion they were already spending.
00:15:22.000 Laws of economics are very clear.
00:15:23.000 You cannot print wealth.
00:15:25.000 That private property matters.
00:15:27.000 That trade must be respected.
00:15:29.000 That profit is the motivation for how you get better products and better services.
00:15:36.000 Look, as you know, our friend Mike Lindell has amazing passion and especially has a passion to help everyone get the best sleep of their life.
00:15:43.000 He didn't stop by simply creating the best pillow.

00:16:22.000 The strategy for Joe Biden right now is to just tell people you actually aren't suffering.
00:16:28.000 Everything's fine, there's no famine.
00:16:31.000 You know, the old Soviet motto is that there is no famine.
00:16:34.000 And if you disagree, maybe you shouldn't be around.
00:16:37.000 The way the Soviets used to solve famine is instead of trying to grow more crops, because they took land away from what was called the kulaks, anybody that earned more than an acre of land was considered to be a kulak.
00:16:49.000 They considered them to be a wealthy or prosperous peasant.
00:16:53.000 Is they would just kill you.
00:16:54.000 Instead of trying to up production, you just limit the amount of mouths to be fed.
00:16:59.000 Cut 53.
00:17:01.000 Joe Biden says, Look, I don't want to hear any more of these lies about reckless spending.
00:17:07.000 We're changing people's lives.
00:17:09.000 Play Cut 53.
00:17:10.000 One year.
00:17:12.000 One year.
00:17:14.000 So when they come to you and talk about big spenders, let them know.
00:17:20.000 Almost $2 trillion in deficit reduction.
00:17:25.000 I don't want to hear any more of these lies about reckless spending.
00:17:30.000 We're changing people's lives.
00:17:34.000 Yeah, we're changing people's lives by making them go bankrupt and destroying their purchasing power and the looming credit card debt crisis.
00:17:43.000 We're about to see a multi-dimensional debt crisis that is just going to maybe break the back of the American economy.
00:17:50.000 We'll see.
00:17:51.000 And what's so sick about it is that if you've been saving, you actually get punished.
00:17:56.000 Inflation helps people that have debt.
00:17:59.000 Inflation rewards bad behavior.
00:18:01.000 It incentivizes more borrowing until, of course, you raise interest rates.
00:18:07.000 So Joe Biden has been going on and on saying that he has lowered the deficit, the largest deficit in American history.
00:18:13.000 Play Cut 55.
00:18:15.000 Changing people's lives.
00:18:20.000 And because of the facts, this year, we're delivering the biggest drop in deficit in the history of the United States of America.
00:18:31.000 Look, even CNN says this is a total lie by Daniel Dale.
00:18:35.000 Fact check deconstructing Biden's claim that I reduced the federal deficit.
00:18:39.000 Joe Biden has been taking credit for reducing the federal budget deficit, the annual gap between the money the government takes in and the money the government spends.
00:18:46.000 A smaller deficit before, but bigger deficit than expected.
00:18:49.000 Basically, because of all this insane spending, the deficit spiked, and now it's still massive.
00:18:56.000 It's still trillions of dollars, even though the deficit in 2020 was $3.1 trillion.
00:19:02.000 It's only gone by $360 billion.
00:19:05.000 So he's just counting the decline, not actually how much is still being spent.
00:19:09.000 And by the way, Republicans learn this the hard way.
00:19:13.000 Nobody cares about these highly technical arguments.
00:19:18.000 I care about the national debt.
00:19:20.000 I care about the deficit.
00:19:21.000 Most Americans could not tell you the difference between the debt or the deficit.
00:19:25.000 They could not.
00:19:26.000 It's a very technical argument.
00:19:27.000 They care about gas prices.
00:19:29.000 They care about purchasing power.
00:19:30.000 They care about wages.
00:19:32.000 They care about if they have a job or not.
00:19:34.000 Not whether or not the national debt is that Republicans tried running on that in 2012.
00:19:40.000 And that's one of the reasons why Obama got re-elected in 2012.
00:19:43.000 People don't care about that.
00:19:44.000 I wish they did.
00:19:47.000 I wish we had robust debates about the debt and deficit.
00:19:50.000 A big fan of talking about the debt and deficit.
00:19:52.000 I think Republicans have failed us on the debt and deficit.
00:19:54.000 I get it.
00:19:56.000 People don't care about it.
00:19:58.000 And Joe Biden is lying about it.
00:20:02.000 Biden's claim is almost bizarre world, according to Mark Goldween of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
00:20:09.000 CNN Fact Checker said, Dale noted that the federal deficit had indeed declined.
00:20:14.000 However, the deficit decline was originally expected to be even larger than the figure Biden expected.
00:20:20.000 Dale added that the economic experts, quote, still scoffed at the idea that Biden had personally been responsible for having reduced the deficit.
00:20:28.000 In fact, one advocate of deficit reduction, Mark Goldween, for the committee for the responsible federal budget, told me that this claim is almost a reversal of reality.
00:20:38.000 That's interesting.
00:20:38.000 That's exactly what we've been talking about all hour: that there is a reality and you must recognize that there is nature.
00:20:44.000 Nature has an ability to kind of sort things out.
00:20:47.000 It's stable.
00:20:49.000 But Joe Biden doesn't recognize nature, or at least the people around him.
00:20:53.000 They're largely academics.
00:20:55.000 If you want to know one of the main reasons why I'm such an opponent of college, Brown, Stanford, Yale, Harvard, is they do not come from the admission, the humility, the humble stance that there is a nature and you must not try and disrupt it.
00:21:14.000 They don't believe in that.
00:21:15.000 They're always trying to find some sort of man-powered, will-centered, scientific-fueled project to change natural design.
00:21:30.000 And that's one of the reasons you look at the laws of economics.
00:21:33.000 They are unchanging.
00:21:35.000 Pieces of paper do not create wealth.
00:21:38.000 They do not.
00:21:39.000 Pieces of paper must correlate with value.
00:21:42.000 The left doesn't believe this.
00:21:44.000 They think by creating pieces of paper, you might spur some sort of economic miracle.
00:21:50.000 Now, there is a tension here, though, between intentional destruction and utopian economic thinking, but they both get the same way.
00:21:57.000 They both get the same thing.
00:21:59.000 This is why intentions are completely irrelevant when it comes to politics.
00:22:04.000 They're totally irrelevant.
00:22:06.000 Intentions can matter with your spouse.
00:22:08.000 Sorry, I didn't mean to get late.
00:22:09.000 I got stuck in traffic.
00:22:10.000 Sorry, I didn't mean to drop the groceries.
00:22:12.000 That's fine.
00:22:14.000 But when you talk about politics, about long-drawn-out processes of public policy development, intentions mean nothing because good intentions could end up getting you the same thing as someone that has bad intentions.
00:22:27.000 All that matters is the result.
00:22:30.000 That's it.
00:22:32.000 The standard of which political science and political thinking must be made at is okay.
00:22:38.000 You could say, well, that group has good intentions, but it doesn't matter.
00:22:41.000 We're still going to vote against it.
00:22:43.000 You do not vote based on the intention.
00:22:45.000 You vote on based on whether or not it's going to do good, make you freer, make you happier, make your country stronger.
00:22:53.000 Let's go to Cut 42.
00:22:55.000 CNBC Steve Leesman says this whole idea of inflation eventually getting back under control is just not happening.
00:23:02.000 Play cut 42.
00:23:03.000 Steve Leesman is here.
00:23:04.000 He's got more details on this.
00:23:06.000 Steve, you've been digging through it.
00:23:07.000 What jumps out at you?
00:23:09.000 No, we're not getting any help on the goods sector.
00:23:12.000 Goods, inflation, the producer level up 1.4%, services up 0.4%.
00:23:16.000 The whole idea of inflation eventually getting back under control is that you would have this switch from goods inflation moderating over into the service sector, and that is not happening.
00:23:27.000 That's a big story right there.
00:23:29.000 So they say producer prices are up 10.8%.
00:23:32.000 That is low.
00:23:33.000 I don't believe any of these numbers.
00:23:36.000 We've gone into detail why I'm glad the government is lying about inflation.
00:23:39.000 It would bankrupt local and city governments that have automatic pay adjustments for some city workers and teachers.
00:23:44.000 But let's not fool ourselves.
00:23:46.000 In Phoenix, Arizona, inflation is between 30 to 35 percent.
00:23:51.000 The media won't tell you that, but you are living through one of the great price increases in American history.
00:23:58.000 And what is our government talking about?
00:24:00.000 They're focusing on indicting Trump.
00:24:03.000 Oh, no, they're telling you things are awesome.
00:24:05.000 They're thinking things are just wonderful, actually.
00:24:08.000 Play cut 43.
00:24:09.000 I said, you're doing 10% year over year plus or almost 11%.
00:24:14.000 We still have a big problem up the pipeline.
00:24:16.000 That's going to filter down.
00:24:18.000 And then the question obviously becomes how much that could be passed along to consumers and whether or not we're at some form of a breaking point of consumers rejecting these higher prices and businesses unable to pass them along and that would hit profits.
00:24:30.000 Beggie?
00:24:31.000 Ducey had a back and forth with the press secretary of the United States, Terry Jean-Pierre, whatever her name is, Karine Jean-Pierre, not a very smart person.
00:24:40.000 I hope she finds a career in something meaningful.
00:24:42.000 She's in the wrong line of work, but she is the communication arm of the executive branch of the federal government.
00:24:47.000 So I really have very little patience for her.
00:24:50.000 She's the White House press secretary.
00:24:51.000 Total waste of time.
00:24:52.000 Play cut 47.
00:24:54.000 So as you say that Americans are well positioned to weather this stock market decline, what is the president's message to somebody who might want to retire, but their 401k is getting wiped out?
00:25:06.000 So we know that higher prices are having a real effect on people's lives.
00:25:11.000 We get that.
00:25:12.000 And we are incredibly focused on doing everything that we can to make sure that the economy is working for every American people.
00:25:19.000 But we are coming out of the strongest job market in American history, and that matters.
00:25:25.000 This idea of the job market being the only thing that matters, it's such a Soviet argument.
00:25:30.000 Everyone had jobs in the Soviet Union.
00:25:32.000 You go to go dig a ditch and you fill it back in.
00:25:35.000 You dig the ditch before lunch and you fill it back in after lunch.
00:25:38.000 You go home.
00:25:39.000 Are the jobs productive?
00:25:40.000 Are wages going up?
00:25:41.000 Are people is the standard of living going up?
00:25:44.000 That's what really matters.
00:25:45.000 Anyone can find it.
00:25:46.000 You can have a job doing anything.
00:25:48.000 You can create government work around any sort of job.
00:25:50.000 Is it a meaningful job?
00:25:52.000 What's the labor participation rate is another question.
00:25:55.000 But the question was about the stock market.
00:25:57.000 The stock market is now lower than it was when Biden took office.
00:26:00.000 And do not be surprised if the market goes below 30,000.
00:26:03.000 Do not be surprised if the market goes down to 27,000, 26, 25,000.
00:26:07.000 We might be in very danger, in like incredible dangerous waters here.
00:26:11.000 Now, we predicted it for quite some time.
00:26:13.000 I own the VIX.
00:26:15.000 My timing wasn't exactly right, but we're looking pretty wise right now as we sold near the top of the market.
00:26:21.000 The VIX is the volatility index.
00:26:24.000 Joe Biden's approval rating with young people, 22%.
00:26:27.000 With Hispanics, 24%.
00:26:29.000 Most older voters, actually, Joe Biden's constituency that likes him the most are actually people over the age of 60.
00:26:36.000 Baby boomers approve of Joe Biden a lot more than millennials in Gen Z.
00:26:41.000 But I'm told a lot by baby boomers that millennials are the problem.
00:26:45.000 Actually, millennials hate Joe Biden more than boomers do.
00:26:47.000 It's an interesting fact.
00:26:48.000 Every poll shows that, including the Quinnipiac poll.
00:26:51.000 Joe Biden's overall approval rating is 33%, one of the lowest in the history of presidential approval rating, makes Nixon look like the star at prom.
00:27:04.000 24% of Hispanic voters, 49% of black voters said they approve of Biden's work.
00:27:10.000 The entire Democrat Party is collapsing in front of your eyes.
00:27:14.000 And there is a Democrat I want to thank, though, right now.
00:27:18.000 Believe it or not, all of this would be worse if it wasn't for Joe Manchin.
00:27:23.000 I know that's hard to believe, as bad as it is, but all of this would be significantly worse if it wasn't for Joe Manchin holding the line on the filibuster.
00:27:34.000 If they were able to pass HR1 and the $6 trillion build back better whatever bill, I mean, we would have almost no path towards reconciliation or any path towards economic recovery.
00:27:47.000 Joe Biden created and is overseeing one of the most uncertain economic climates in the history of the country.
00:27:59.000 From cringing at the pump to getting an eye-popping check at your favorite restaurant, inflation is hitting us all where it hurts.
00:28:05.000 Inflation is a thief and it really does hurt.
00:28:08.000 That's why I started using Upside.

00:29:30.000 These shows are not fun to do.
00:29:32.000 What I mean by these shows, the kind of show we have to do today, it's just really hard to watch because it's so self-inflicted, but it's necessary.
00:29:38.000 And so thank you for bearing with us through this as we talk about the bear market.
00:29:42.000 I don't like talking about how markets are crashing.
00:29:45.000 SP 500 slides deeper into bear market.
00:29:48.000 It's not fun.
00:29:49.000 It's not uplifting.
00:29:50.000 I don't like talking about how inflation is happening, but it's necessary.
00:29:53.000 And it's just very simple when you have the amount of dollar bills in the economy that has increased preemptively and the economy cratering.
00:30:03.000 There is no other way to fix it than you raise interest rates and you have to grin and bear a recession for multiple years.
00:30:10.000 Democrats are going to have to own this at the ballot box.
00:30:14.000 They are going to get obliterated in November.
00:30:16.000 If we have fair and free elections, if we're able to keep a transparent eye on ballot trafficking, which we are going to talk about that maybe in the next day or two, kind of some of the comments around the movie 2,000 Mules.
00:30:33.000 People are poorer, but they have more dollar bills.
00:30:38.000 Think about that.
00:30:40.000 They have more dollar bills, but they're poorer than they were two years ago.
00:30:44.000 The stock market is lower.
00:30:47.000 You have more dollar bills that don't get you as much stuff.
00:30:50.000 That is the worst of all economic combinations.
00:30:55.000 I remember another situation that I was sitting in of a man that was running for office in California, and I told him, I said, inflation is coming.
00:31:04.000 We are going to see 12 to 15% inflation.
00:31:06.000 He's like, ah, no, come on.
00:31:07.000 I don't think that's true.
00:31:10.000 The people at the top levels of society, I could tell you this.
00:31:13.000 I spend a lot of time with people in the top of business.
00:31:16.000 They somehow didn't see this coming.
00:31:18.000 You saw it coming.
00:31:20.000 We saw it coming.
00:31:21.000 They're all collectively to blame for this, Republicans included.
00:31:25.000 Republicans voted for these big government spending bills, a lot of them.
00:31:28.000 Not all of them.
00:31:29.000 They didn't vote for the infrastructure bill.
00:31:31.000 I think some of them did.
00:31:32.000 Murkowski and Collins did.
00:31:34.000 Trillions of dollars out of thin air created.
00:31:38.000 And now we have a cratering economy.
00:31:40.000 The stock market is down.
00:31:42.000 Just wait till unemployment goes up.
00:31:43.000 That's going to be the next shoe to drop.
00:31:45.000 The jobs report, I'm making a prediction.
00:31:47.000 The jobs report in August and in September and October.
00:31:54.000 My prediction.
00:31:55.000 I hope I'm wrong.
00:31:56.000 I hope I am wrong.
00:31:58.000 I hope that you email me freedom at charliekirk.com and say, Charlie, you are off base.
00:32:03.000 We have a tendency to be right about this stuff because we live in reality and we understand the nature of economics.
00:32:09.000 You're going to see unemployment go up, up, up.
00:32:13.000 Why would, hold on a second, let's just think about this rationally.
00:32:17.000 If companies are now selling less product and everything costs more, why would they continue to have unnecessary HR managers?
00:32:25.000 Why would they continue to have duplicative employees?
00:32:28.000 No, they are going to purge their ranks of unnecessary workers.
00:32:32.000 And all of this kind of lazy stimulus check worker environment that some of you experiencing, not calling all workers lazy, but there has definitely been an arrogance that has set in, especially with unable to find work, can't find workers.
00:32:47.000 Anyone that runs a business is dealing with it right now.
00:32:49.000 It's going to change almost overnight.
00:32:52.000 Play cut 49, Ducey and the woman that shouldn't be press secretary going back and forth.
00:32:57.000 Play cut 49.
00:32:58.000 President Biden once bragged about the stock market hitting record after record after record on my watch.
00:33:05.000 How about now?
00:33:07.000 Meaning the stock market.
00:33:09.000 All the gains from President Biden's time in office have been wiped out.
00:33:14.000 So, as you know, we're watching closely.
00:33:18.000 We know families are concerned about inflation in the stock market.
00:33:22.000 That is something that the president is really aware of.
00:33:26.000 And so, look, we face global challenges.
00:33:28.000 We face global challenges.
00:33:30.000 Yeah, it's the space invaders, otherwise known as Putin.
00:33:32.000 You know, you did this.
00:33:33.000 Your administration, your regime did this.
00:33:35.000 With regulation, lack of energy exploration, destruction of Keystone XL pipeline, the war in American energy and gas, your trillions of dollars of new spending that you've authorized.
00:33:48.000 You did this.
00:33:50.000 And now we are about to turn the corner into a set of economic conditions.
00:33:56.000 Just hold on.
00:33:57.000 There is very little you can do.
00:34:00.000 Do not try to catch the falling knife.
00:34:02.000 I'm not here to give stock market or financial advice.
00:34:06.000 Not my thing.
00:34:07.000 But you have a cartel of leaders.
00:34:10.000 You have a regime of people, a ruling class that believes they are the designers of the natural world and they can make it better.
00:34:18.000 Well, I hope that you enjoy their weird academic theories when you now go pay $130 to pay up to go fill up a tank of gas.
00:34:27.000 Their theories did this to you.
00:34:29.000 Their arrogance did this to you.
00:34:31.000 Their pride did this to you.
00:34:35.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:36.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com and get involved with TurningPointUSA at tpusa.com.
00:34:42.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:34:43.000 God bless.
