00:05:31.000The RNC was more focused throughout the months of the summer and the fall, planting stories against me, planting stories against this program to try to derail us than actually hiring ballot chasers, trying to defeat Joe Biden or trying to build a strong party because they will not allow a rebellion because they're getting far too powerful, far too comfortable being at the top of the RNC.
00:06:21.000It wasn't just the public attacks, which I'm going to get to in a second.
00:06:24.000We were hearing privately the head of the RNC, Rana, was badmouthing us, belittling our contribution, saying turning point's not that big, turning point's not important.
00:06:32.000Even though we have 400 full-time staff, I think the RNC has maybe 30 or 40, maybe.
00:06:37.000And they continued their assault against Turning Point, continued their character assassination campaign against me, trying to spread lies and falsehoods.
00:06:48.000Meanwhile, we are hiring hundreds of ballot chasers in Battleground States.
00:06:51.000And I will ask again, how many ballot chasers is the RNC going to have on their payroll in mid-April?
00:06:57.000What have they done to secure our elections?
00:06:59.000The answer is next to nothing and nothing, because the standard is so low for them.
00:07:05.000But we kept the pressure on, and a big decision needed to be made.
00:07:08.000Met with Tyler back in December and the whole team, Turning Point Action team, and we said, hey, we need RNC regime change.
00:07:19.000Big donors are increasingly not supporting her.
00:07:22.000I remember when we were at our Mar-a-Lago gala for Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action, one of our donors went up and gave a speech, and I didn't tell him to say this, but he said, stop giving money to Rana and the RNC.
00:07:34.000And 800 of our biggest donors stand up in applause.
00:07:38.000Of our biggest donors, I said, oh boy, this is a top-down, bottom-up squeeze of the RNC.
00:07:42.000They have lost trust across the board.
00:07:44.000Anybody with eyes to see and ears to hear can internalize that the RNC is not representing their voters with a mandate to win.
00:07:54.000So, I remember we met with the team and we said, Hey, where's this winter meeting coming up?
00:07:59.000And Tyler said, Oh, nothing really is going to happen at this winter meeting.
00:08:03.000We came to the conclusion that we need to host an alternative RNC meeting.
00:08:08.000And I said, I joked around with the team.
00:08:10.000I said, Remember, you guys remember when we said this on our program?
00:08:13.000I said, They're going to send out an assassin against us.
00:08:16.000I said, They're going to plant stories.
00:08:18.000They're going to smear us because the RNC is far more focused on petty personal vendettas than they are actually trying to build a party to win.
00:08:28.000Instead of taking a message from Turning Point, wow, they're gaining a lot of attention, momentum, they're having a lot of success.
00:08:41.000And this last week, we saw it begin to manifest.
00:08:44.000None of this comes as a surprise to us, but I'm leading today with this program so you get a picture and a window into the RNC.
00:08:52.000Instead of trying to use every ounce of energy, every ounce of attention, every favor that you could possibly cash in to build a party, defeat the Democrats coming into November, while we are busy at Turning Point with so many projects I can't even see straight, the priority of the outgoing RNC chair, Rana,
00:09:15.000is to work with NBC News to try and attack Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action.
00:09:24.000Published yesterday, conservative activist Charlie Kirk helped oust Rana McDaniel at the RNC.
00:09:49.000Instead of spending money trying to heal relationships with donors and pass off the RNC to the next inevitable chair, now we're going to get into this in a second.
00:10:00.000It switches back and forth between suggesting we're immensely powerful and that we're impotent and failing and that we're too radical to associate with.
00:10:09.000We'll talk about some of the contents of the article.
00:10:11.000Use unnamed sources throughout, but of course, it was Rana and her media henchmen that developed this and floated this.
00:10:32.000But I'm going to kind of paint this picture more so you realize exactly how the RNC operates.
00:10:38.000It's not about winning elections, it's about settling political scores.

00:12:11.000Two articles and they both have knives in the headline.
00:12:17.000Make it a little more clear that this is orchestrated.
00:12:20.000Real Clear Politics says, quote, Charlie Kirk is a MAGA juggernaut.
00:12:23.000I don't know what that means, but it sounds cool.
00:12:26.000Founded in 2012, Turning Point USA has turned into a quasi-party apparatus.
00:12:31.000And it says one of the main beneficiaries has been former President Trump.
00:12:34.000It's true, we've had his back at Turning Point Action and continue to.
00:12:37.000It goes on to basically say in both articles that Rana and the RNC thinks that Charlie Kirk and this program should not be taken seriously because of first, what we said in regards to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
00:12:53.000We talked about how we want to build a society based on merit, not on race.
00:13:19.000We said, here's one thing, and that's it.
00:13:22.000And it turned into this massive thing because you can't possibly talk about the history around someone who has a higher approval rating than Jesus.
00:13:34.000One of the main reasons why the RNC is leaking these stories.
00:13:40.000We're in the midst of an election, and they're focused about using their energy to leak stories against conservatives that are actually doing work.
00:13:50.000I can go in great length and show you all the success that Turning Point has, all the measurable wins, or I can show you this clip from our Restoring National Confidence Summit on how they are bragging about how Turning Point Action is moving the dial, is helping the grassroots.
00:14:33.000I'm here because I've been to an RNC training.
00:14:35.000It is nothing like what they did at Turning Point.
00:14:37.000They're giving us actionable things to actually do and win, which the RNC is not interested in doing for some reason.
00:14:44.000I am the chairman of the Forsyth County Georgia Republican Party, and I am here because we have been lacking on tools and support from the RNC from a national level down to the county level.
00:14:56.000We have people that are ready to get involved.
00:15:01.000And so this has been a great opportunity for us to network with people and learn and just really fill up our toolbox with things we can take back home and get out the vote.
00:15:32.000So they have the Turning Point data people have dug down to precinct level six precincts of mine that had target voters that were likely voters in 2016, 2020 that did not vote.
00:15:44.000And they're Republicans down to 25,000 voters.
00:15:47.000I can hit those six precincts now with my walk list.
00:15:50.000I've never gotten that dug down from the RPOF or the RNC.
00:16:26.000It's about our donors, about our activists.
00:16:28.000We have an incredible army that has really been built, this movement.
00:16:32.000And the RNC attacking our movement, it's really repulsive, honestly.
00:16:38.000Instead of acknowledging, like, wow, they have something really big going on and something really exciting goes to show you why things are not going the way they are.
00:16:47.000Charlie, why are elections not going our way?
00:16:49.000Because your party apparatus is more focused on knifing Turning Point, knifing Charlie Kirk than saying, thank you guys for doing some work.
00:17:04.000Thankfully, the RNC regime is changing.
00:17:07.000One of the reasons why we're being attacked.

00:19:53.000And I think the truth is, whenever you look at the RNC as a whole, there are a lot of people out there who say, hey, I don't know if I want to give my money to this entity because I don't really know if it's going to the causes that I care about.
00:20:04.000I don't know if it's going to support the candidates that I care about.
00:20:07.000Obviously, for me, that is goal number one.
00:20:10.000We need to ensure that every single penny that we raise at the RNC, if I am elected co-chair, is going to ensuring Donald Trump becomes the 47th president, ensuring we expand our lead in the House, ensuring we take back the Senate with America first candidates.
00:20:27.000It's vital, but we don't get there without a secure and a fair and a free election.
00:20:34.000And I think that one of the things that has been lacking whenever you look at us on the conservative side of the aisle is we've kind of had this notion that, yeah, it would be great if we had one day of voting and we all went and voted on the election day and there were paper ballots and it was all, you know, sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows.
00:20:54.000We obviously know there's early voting in so many states across this country.
00:20:57.000We know how the Democrats have been ballot harvesting for years, some places legal, some places maybe not so legal.
00:21:05.000But these are the games and the ways that we have to start focusing and playing ourselves if we actually want a chance to win.
00:21:14.000We need to have an incredible ballot harvesting operation everywhere we legally can in this country.
00:21:21.000I'm sure some of the folks tuning in right now know of Scott Pressler.
00:21:24.000This is a guy who has been incredible in voter registration.
00:21:28.000He's someone I would like to see head up a ballot harvesting operation.
00:21:32.000Again, everywhere it's legal in America for the RNC because we've got no time to waste.
00:21:37.000We need to ensure that people are actually going out and voting in early voting and then taking people, Charlie, with them days to come and all the way up until election day to get in and vote.
00:21:47.000We need to bank these votes and have so many as we go into November 5th on election day that nothing is left to chance, that we are not playing catch up with the Democrats.
00:21:57.000These are some things that I think are kind of obvious when people look at it, but have never fully been implemented at the RNC.
00:22:04.000So those are things that I certainly would be focused on as we head towards election day.
00:22:09.000And I got to tell you, it's a much must-win election.
00:22:12.000We can leave this one to no kind of chance.
00:22:20.000That's exactly what the grassroots want to hear.
00:22:22.000And, you know, we've been saying, hey, let's get Scott Pressler more in the mix here.
00:22:25.000This guy is a one-man get out the vote machine, right?
00:22:28.000And, you know, we need to involve all sorts of outside partners and Scott Pressler and new energy and enthusiasm.
00:22:34.000So I feel silly asking you this question, but it needs to be asked, Laura, because some people say, How do I know the RNC is going to want Trump to win?
00:23:17.000If I am a part of the Republican National Committee, you better believe that our sole focus and our goal will be to ensure Donald J. Trump becomes the 47th president of the United States.
00:23:56.000But I think he understands he is the only person who can ultimately go in and do the job we need to save this country, to give this country back to the people.
00:24:05.000That's what he ultimately wants to do.
00:24:07.000I can tell you, all of us in the family are 100% in this game beside him, fighting the good fight, and we will be there every step of the way.
00:24:16.000And I can guarantee you that come November 5th, there will be no stone unturned.
00:24:20.000There will be nothing left that we can give.
00:24:23.000We're going to give it all because we got to win this election.
00:24:28.000You know, the family, Laura, your husband, Eric, Don Jr., have you guys have been through the ringer consistently?
00:24:36.000And so the skin in the game here is, you know, so important as we're trying to continue to cheer on the RNC and to support and encourage the RNC to become the best possible version of itself.
00:24:54.000I mean, if we don't win the White House, look at what ends up happening.
00:24:58.000And the Democrats, they're sitting on piles of cash.
00:25:01.000Laura, I think you're going to be a secret weapon when it comes to raising money, both in the grassroots and also with big donors.
00:25:07.000And I think a lot of people are going to be coming out of the sidelines, off the sidelines, and will be excited to kind of see this optimistic vision.
00:25:14.000We'll see this, hey, we're going to put this all together.
00:25:31.000I mean, I would imagine the posture is we have to fight and this is why we must win.
00:25:36.000Well, this is that's exactly right, Charlie.
00:25:38.000This stuff is, it is so outrageous and it is so egregious to see what's going on.
00:25:45.000You know, it is, it's the antithesis of everything that we should see here in the United States of America.
00:25:51.000Lady Justice is supposed to be blind, but you take a look at this ruling in New York, you know, in a state and in a city, quite frankly, that is just going straight down the tubes.
00:26:03.000These people are more concerned with a political vendetta against Donald Trump than they actually are about cleaning up the streets of New York, protecting the citizens of New York State and New York City.
00:26:14.000It is, it's preposterous to see it happen.
00:26:17.000And, you know, like I was just saying, it would have been easy for Donald Trump to say, I'm not going to run this time around because I know they're going to go after me.
00:26:26.000If Donald Trump were not the leading candidate for the Republican nomination, there's no doubt none of these things would be going on with him.
00:26:33.000They would never have put this forward.
00:26:35.000This was just an egregious charge against him.
00:26:53.000Letitia James, the attorney general of the state of New York, who ran a campaign on taking down one man, his company and his family, forget about the New York citizens.
00:27:05.000But this is why this fight is so important as we head towards November 5th, because if we allow these things to happen in the United States of America, Charlie, we're no better off than a communist country.
00:27:17.000These are the kind of tactics that they used in the communist USSR against their political opponents.
00:27:26.000And honestly, I think it's why so many people, even though they might not like Donald Trump's personality, see a ruling like this and they say, you know what?
00:27:34.000I don't really like the guy, but we can't stand for this.
00:27:38.000This is also why we have to win this fight on November 5th.
00:27:40.000Because if the Democrats get away with it right now, we will not have the same country on the other side.

00:27:49.000It's funny, some reporter like six weeks ago, because it's no mystery, I've wanted RNC change.
00:27:57.000And I, I mean, I'm, you know, I'm not, you know, I had no idea.

00:28:05.000I know you got a dash here, Laura, in just a second, but in closing, your message to the grassroots coming out of the gate, a lot of the grassroots, I'll just be very honest with you, Laura, they don't feel respected by the RNC.

00:28:20.000You kind of, what's your message to the precinct committee men, the state party chairs, the people who really make this party work, the great MAGA patriots.
00:29:02.000And so, look, my goals, if I am chosen to be a part of the RNC, are that we are a seamless combination of the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign, one in the same, because that's what it's going to take for us to win this upcoming election.
