The Charlie Kirk Show - The Sad Failures of Speaker Johnson

00:00:00.000 Okay, everybody, look, there's some tough truths we need to talk about.

00:00:02.000 Mike Johnson, he's been a big letdown.

00:00:04.000 We go right into it here.

00:00:05.000 There is a motion to vacate brewing.

00:00:41.000 We say a lot of this with lament and sadness.

00:00:44.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:45.000 Here we go.

00:00:46.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:48.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:50.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:53.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:56.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:57.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:58.000 His spirit, his love of this country.

00:01:00.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:01:05.000 Turning point USA. 0.65

00:01:07.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:16.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:19.000 Noble Gold Investments is the official gold sponsor of the Charlie Kirk Show, a company that specializes in gold IRAs and physical delivery of precious metals.

00:01:40.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.

00:01:44.000 We got a serious problem, everybody.

00:01:47.000 The majority of the country wants an opposition party.

00:01:50.000 You want an opposition party.

00:01:52.000 You want somebody to go to Washington, D.C. and to say no, to have a win, any win whatsoever.

00:02:00.000 The vast majority of Americans believe that the southern border is a far greater crisis than anything happening abroad.

00:02:07.000 Poll after poll after poll shows that Americans prioritize this country more than what's happening in Ukraine.

00:02:19.000 However, you don't have an opposition party in Washington, D.C. You have some members that are trying their best.

00:02:26.000 You have some people that are fighting very hard on it.

00:02:29.000 Now, for those of you that are devout and loyal listeners and viewers of the Charlie Kirk Show, you know, back in fall, we were one of the few voices that was very critical of Speaker Johnson because he completely surrendered on all spending fights.

00:02:45.000 We should have shut down the government.

00:02:47.000 We should have used the leverage we had when we had more seats.

00:02:50.000 And he did none of those things.

00:02:52.000 And he kicked to January, February.

00:02:55.000 And he reached out, and the team reached out.

00:02:57.000 I said, you know what?

00:02:57.000 I'm going to give you another chance.

00:02:59.000 We're just going to kind of chalk that up to beginners' naivete that you're now in this job and you're now going to fight.

00:03:09.000 Remember, we were told that we were going to get a big spending discussion in January, that we were going to get a real throwdown in February, that we were going to draw a line in the sand and that we were going to fight against the $1 trillion that we are borrowing every 100 days.

00:03:30.000 And so I gave Speaker Johnson a little bit of rope, a little bit of room.

00:03:34.000 I said, okay, you're talking a good game.

00:03:37.000 You're saying that you are a movement conservative.

00:03:40.000 We decided to give him a little bit of space.

00:03:42.000 In fact, I was speaking at a Salem radio event a week and a half ago with Grant Stitchfield, who's terrific.

00:03:49.000 It was a KRLA K-T-I-E event.

00:03:54.000 And somebody asked about Speaker Johnson.

00:03:55.000 Said, you know, I temporarily have a ceasefire when it comes to Speaker Johnson.

00:04:00.000 I'm trying to give him some space, trying to give him some room to operate.

00:04:04.000 And I said, I think he is a conservative.

00:04:07.000 And then last week started.

00:04:10.000 And it has not just been one thing.

00:04:12.000 It is now a pattern.

00:04:14.000 And it is getting worse.

00:04:15.000 It is not getting better.

00:04:17.000 He's embracing fear, not courage.

00:04:20.000 So, of course, the one that really stuck me that I refuse to forget is that he was the deciding vote, the tiebreaker, to give the FBI the ability to obliterate the United States Constitution, to be able to spy on you, monitor your activity, potentially infiltrate political groups.

00:04:41.000 Mike Johnson, wearing his FBI windbreaker, goes down and casts the tie-breaking vote.

00:04:51.000 The way I viewed that is a guy that is a constitutional attorney who used to argue major cases just gives the middle finger to all of you, basically saying, I'm a regime guy now.

00:05:03.000 Inexcusable.

00:05:05.000 His team reached out to us, said, Oh, no, no, we're not the tiebreaker.

00:05:08.000 We voted early. 0.97

00:05:09.000 What a ridiculous response. 0.99

00:05:12.000 It doesn't matter when you voted. 0.99

00:05:14.000 You did not have to vote and you voted incorrectly.

00:05:18.000 You voted on the side of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

00:05:20.000 But that was just the beginning.

00:05:22.000 FISA passes the House with no adjustments. 0.99

00:05:26.000 Yeah, there were some little things here or there, but it was garbage. 0.99

00:05:30.000 It was shallow. 0.96

00:05:33.000 So then all of a sudden, this weekend pops up, and we decide now we have to go give Zelensky more money so more Ukrainian young men can be led to the slaughter, the meat grinder against Russia. 0.98

00:05:45.000 Tucker Carlson said this publicly, and he has said this privately.

00:05:49.000 Does Speaker Johnson know how many Ukrainians have died in this war?

00:05:53.000 No, he doesn't.

00:05:53.000 He has no idea.

00:05:54.000 He has no idea.

00:05:55.000 Nor does he care.

00:05:57.000 The American government are using young Ukrainian men as human shields.

00:06:02.000 Now, time and time again, Speaker Johnson has said that there will be no Ukraine deal without border security, that there will be no Ukraine deal without border security, that there will be no Ukraine deal without border security.

00:06:16.000 He said this repeatedly.

00:06:18.000 In fact, we have a montage of that that we can upload, where Speaker Johnson has said the border is the first priority.

00:06:26.000 We have received zero victories on the border.

00:06:30.000 So Speaker Johnson said throughout his speakership when I was trying to give him some space, after I was very intense with him out of the gate, no, no, no, just don't worry.

00:06:38.000 We're going to secure the border.

00:06:42.000 Well, this week, turns out that was not the truth.

00:06:47.000 Turns out he was deceiving us.

00:06:50.000 Ukraine is positioned to get another $61 billion.

00:06:59.000 Israel, $26 billion.

00:07:01.000 Now, I support the Israel funding, to be clear.

00:07:05.000 But you have to offset it with cuts.

00:07:07.000 Cut the UN budget, give the money to Ukraine.

00:07:09.000 But $26 billion is a lot of money, just to be clear.

00:07:12.000 $8 billion more for Indo-Pacific security.

00:07:16.000 So nearly $100 billion as we are borrowing a trillion dollars every 100 days.

00:07:22.000 And do you know who now is the chairman of the Mike Johnson fan club?

00:07:29.000 The chairman of the Mike Johnson fan committee.

00:07:35.000 No, no, no, it's not Mark Levin.

00:07:39.000 It is Joe Scarborough.

00:07:42.000 Joe Scarborough on MSNBC is Mike Johnson's biggest fan.

00:07:47.000 Play Cut 91.

00:07:49.000 This is like a movie for me.

00:07:51.000 I went to sleep last night and we were living in the age of Trump and I woke up this morning and now we're in the age of Reagan again.

00:08:01.000 Listen to this.

00:08:03.000 Peace through strength.

00:08:05.000 That sounds good.

00:08:07.000 And you know, a couple days ago, I kind of got heated up about how Republicans hate on America so much.

00:08:14.000 I was talking about how horrible America is.

00:08:15.000 And I said, America is the greatest country in the world.

00:08:18.000 They need to start saying it.

00:08:19.000 Well, the speaker said, we're the greatest nation in the world.

00:08:22.000 Good on him.

00:08:23.000 Like, we don't hear this from Republicans.

00:08:25.000 We certainly don't hear that we have to actually find people who are fighting against Russian aggression much these days, except from, again, those responsible leaders, whether you're talking about the chairman of the Intel Committee or the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, people who are actually talking like grown-ups.

00:08:41.000 But I got to say, give credit where credit is due.

00:08:45.000 And credit is definitely due with Speaker Johnson talking like a Reagan Republican, talking about the need to protect freedom in this fight between Western democracy and what's going on in Russia.

00:09:02.000 Joe Scarborough, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, what do those three people have in common?

00:09:08.000 What do Joe Scarborough, Chuck Schumer, and Joe Biden have in common?

00:09:12.000 They're Mike Johnson's biggest fans.

00:09:14.000 They are Mike Johnson's biggest fans.

00:09:18.000 This is a man who claims to be a Christian conservative.

00:09:22.000 I'm not saying he's not a Christian.

00:09:23.000 I'm not getting at that.

00:09:24.000 He's not acting like one, but I'm not saying that.

00:09:26.000 He's acting out of fear.

00:09:30.000 He has not decided an attitude of courage.

00:09:35.000 What is Mike Johnson so afraid of?

00:09:37.000 Why does Ukraine need that money so badly, Mike Johnson?

00:09:40.000 Why have you been unable to deliver a single victory?

00:09:44.000 Now, do I regret giving you space or giving you room?

00:09:46.000 Actually, no, I think it gives more credibility to my criticism that I'm now going to usher uninterrupted for the next couple hours.

00:09:52.000 Because I really tried to work with you.

00:09:55.000 In fact, you had me almost convinced that you were going to fight for a minute.

00:10:01.000 Now, maybe I was naive and maybe I was swindled, but I wanted to believe in you.

00:10:07.000 I wanted to believe that we finally had a conservative that would draw the line and deliver a single victory.

00:10:12.000 And in politics, I guess I just live to be disappointed.

00:10:18.000 Today, we're diving into a topic that's more relevant than ever, online integrity.

00:10:33.000 But with these opportunities also come risks that can compromise our values, integrity, and faith.

00:12:22.000 CovenantEyes.com/slash Charlie.

00:12:27.000 I have a heaviness on this whole topic because you go really hard out of the gate because I knew what was happening in November and December.

00:12:36.000 In November and December, I just have been through this so many times.

00:12:39.000 That's the time to throw it down to shut down the government.

00:12:42.000 That's the time to cut the spending.

00:12:44.000 Again, we were not listened to or counseled.

00:12:46.000 We were told by the experts of Speaker Johnson, we're just going to kick to January.

00:12:51.000 We're just going to kick to January.

00:12:52.000 We're going to figure it out.

00:12:54.000 And so we came really hard out of the gate.

00:12:56.000 And I said, okay, new year, maybe I'm just going to offer some grace.

00:12:59.000 And Speaker Johnson texts me once and I didn't answer.

00:13:03.000 And then he texts me again in late January and I just prayed about it.

00:13:06.000 I said, all right, let's have a conversation.

00:13:08.000 We had a long conversation.

00:13:09.000 You guys know that.

00:13:09.000 You listened to the podcast and all that.

00:13:11.000 And I said, Speaker, I'm going to give you some breathing room.

00:13:14.000 You have a slim majority.

00:13:16.000 You're saying that you're a rock-ribbed conservative.

00:13:18.000 You say that you love the Constitution.

00:13:20.000 Your colleagues speak very favorably about you.

00:13:26.000 So I'm going to give you some space.

00:13:28.000 I'm going to give you some breathing room.

00:13:30.000 And like all of us, I decided to want him to succeed.

00:13:37.000 I was, please be the hero that we need.

00:13:42.000 Please have the conviction and put on the full armor of God and stand up against these satanic globalists.

00:13:50.000 And I wasn't an apologist, but I was rooting for him day in and day out.

00:13:58.000 And I think a lot of us were.

00:14:00.000 I think you guys were too.

00:14:02.000 And we were told on every occasion: the border matters more than Ukraine.

00:14:07.000 You're not going to get Ukraine without the border. 0.63

00:14:09.000 Love the Constitution, slim majority.

00:14:12.000 We were told all these things.

00:14:14.000 And for the last couple of weeks, during this kind of period of breathing room that I gave him, I was rooting for a fellow Christian brother.

00:14:24.000 I wanted him to be the best speaker of the house of a generation.

00:14:29.000 He had all of the workings to do that.

00:14:34.000 Former ADF lawyer was a conservative member of the House.

00:14:40.000 And something happened.

00:14:43.000 Matt Gates now says he does not recognize this person.

00:14:46.000 He has completely metamorphosized into something different.

00:14:50.000 He's acting and speaking like John Boehner, like Paul Ryan, like Denny Hassert.

00:14:57.000 Mike Johnson told us that we would not get Ukraine without border security.

00:15:02.000 Well, we're getting Ukraine without border security this week.

00:15:05.000 This is only a sliver of the footage that we have.

00:15:12.000 The team had to cut it down.

00:15:13.000 This is a minute-long tape that we made 35 seconds.

00:15:16.000 He is not telling the truth.

00:15:18.000 Play cut 95.

00:15:20.000 Telling all of you, and we've told the American people: border, border, border.

00:15:24.000 We have to affect real policy change at the border, and that is a necessary condition to anything we do going forward.

00:15:31.000 We have to take care of our border first. 0.62

00:15:33.000 That's what the American people demand.

00:15:35.000 Every state in America is now a border state.

00:15:37.000 Border, border, border.

00:15:39.000 How can we be engaged in securing the border of foreign countries if we can't secure our own task time to secure the border?

00:15:46.000 Listen, this is a catastrophe down here.

00:15:48.000 The battle is for the border.

00:15:50.000 If President Biden wants a supplemental spending bill, it better begin by defending America's national security.

00:15:56.000 That's just a taste.

00:15:58.000 And he has told us that you do not get Ukraine money without border money.

00:16:02.000 What if Mike Johnson actually was courageous?

00:16:06.000 The path to courage is to say, I know I'm unlikely to make it, so I should be bold and aggressive to try and shake things up.

00:16:13.000 In the current situation, I'm weak, but I can change things up enough.

00:16:18.000 I might force my way into a position where I'm stronger and my enemies are weaker.

00:16:23.000 Think about what the great military generals of the past would do, like Napoleon or Alexander the Great.

00:16:29.000 If you read about their careers, you'll find that when they're vulnerable, they become more aggressive.

00:16:35.000 So what did Mike Johnson do?

00:16:36.000 Well, you know, he cowered.

00:16:39.000 He collapsed.

00:16:41.000 He is not a man of courage.

00:16:43.000 And based on what he said about the border, if this Ukraine money passes without the border money, it pains me to say this, but he is not a man of integrity.

00:16:55.000 He's not a man of integrity if that's the case.

00:16:58.000 He gave us clear private and public proclamations.

00:17:03.000 And in fact, the exact opposite happened.

00:17:05.000 He came out with four bills: Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, TikTok, lend-and-lease, Ukraine loan.

00:17:09.000 And then only after feedback from members did he offer up a fifth bill on the border and with some semblance of HR2, which he knows is not going to pass.

00:17:17.000 I don't say any of this in celebration.

00:17:20.000 I lament, I lament how Speaker Johnson has screwed this up.

00:17:28.000 Most emergencies come without warning.

00:17:30.000 And when the next one comes, you won't have a second to spare on packing and preparing.

00:17:34.000 You need to get ready now before an emergency strikes.

00:17:38.000 Your supplies should be within reach, ready to grab and to go at a moment's notice.

00:17:42.000 Secure those supplies at mypatriotsupply.com.

00:17:45.000 Start with a four-week emergency food kit from MyPatriot Supply, helping millions of American families prepare since 2008.

00:17:57.000 Their four-week emergency food kit offers 2,000 calories every day, protected by heavy-duty four-layer packaging.

00:18:18.000 They ship fast and free in unmarked boxes.

00:18:21.000 Say $50 per kit at mypatriotsupply.com.

00:18:24.000 That's mypatriotsupply.com.

00:18:28.000 So there is border security money.

00:18:31.000 There is border security money, but it's not what you might think it is.

00:18:34.000 I had our team just pull up the law.

00:18:36.000 Again, there's so much misinformation out there, so much nonsense out there.

00:18:39.000 So I said, hey, Blake, can you just go find the actual bill that is almost inevitably to come law?

00:18:45.000 Let me read it to you.

00:18:46.000 No spin, no BS.

00:18:48.000 This is what Mike Johnson is about to pass.

00:18:52.000 A border security package.

00:18:54.000 For an additional amount, quote, international narcotics control and law enforcement, $300 million to remain available until September 30th, 2025, for assistance for Ukraine and countries impacted by the situation in Ukraine, provided that such funds may be available to support the state border guard service of Ukraine.

00:19:20.000 That's right.

00:19:21.000 We do have a, so I stand corrected.

00:19:24.000 There is border money available in this bill.

00:19:28.000 The border money is to go help the border patrol in Ukraine to stop drug smuggling.

00:19:35.000 But stopping drug smuggling in America?

00:19:39.000 Nope.

00:19:40.000 The original legislation that the end the border catastrophe act is based on HR2 was immediately ignored by the Senate after the House passed it last May.

00:19:47.000 That's the fifth bill.

00:19:48.000 It's nothing.

00:19:49.000 That's just going to be thrown into the distance.

00:19:53.000 So Mike Johnson was not totally incorrect when he said that border security is important.

00:19:57.000 He just didn't say what country's border security.

00:20:00.000 He just didn't specify which nation was going to have a secure border.

00:20:06.000 This is how much House Republican leaders disrespect you. 0.81

00:20:12.000 They think they can distract you with a useless vote. 0.60

00:20:15.000 So let me just be very clear.

00:20:16.000 There are five things coming up for a vote.

00:20:18.000 Five things.

00:20:20.000 And I want to break them all down in specifics.

00:20:23.000 Number one, Ukraine.

00:20:25.000 We should spend $0 on Ukraine and we should demand peace and an end to the meat grinder. 0.97

00:20:31.000 But they're going to send $60 billion.

00:20:34.000 And within that is $300 million to secure the border of Ukraine.

00:20:39.000 Number two, Israel. 0.58

00:20:41.000 I think the amount of money we're sending Israel is a lot, $26 billion.

00:20:45.000 It should be offset with cuts.

00:20:48.000 And I don't know if that amount of money is necessary, but I think we have to stand with Israel.

00:20:51.000 I remain consistent on that.

00:20:53.000 And understand that part of it also money that goes to like Gaza and Hamas.

00:20:56.000 And so I'm not totally sure if it's all Israel.

00:20:59.000 That needs to be better debated.

00:21:01.000 Number three, Taiwan.

00:21:03.000 We spent a lot of money on Taiwan recently.

00:21:06.000 Where does that money go?

00:21:07.000 $8 billion?

00:21:08.000 I'm not going to put up a big fight on that.

00:21:10.000 I would vote against it if I was in Congress.

00:21:12.000 That one doesn't bother me as much as Ukraine.

00:21:15.000 Seems wasteful.

00:21:16.000 Seems like a graft.

00:21:17.000 I bet someone's making a ton of money off of that.

00:21:19.000 But that's not the end of the world.

00:21:22.000 Then there is this TikTok.

00:21:23.000 They need to get the TikTok bill through because that's super important, right?

00:21:27.000 Not securing the southern border or balancing our budget.

00:21:32.000 Now, this is how repulsive House Republicans are.

00:21:35.000 Mike Gallagher is thinking of extending when he is going to retire just to be able to vote for the TikTok bill.

00:21:44.000 He might extend his retirement date just so that he could vote for the TikTok bill.

00:21:51.000 And then finally, there is a quote-unquote United States border security bill that has already been dead on arrival in the United States Senate, and it is what is called a show vote.

00:22:01.000 They do this on legislation they know will never pass.

00:22:04.000 For example, the impeachment of Alejandro Mayorkas.

00:22:07.000 That's what's called a show vote.

00:22:10.000 They knew Chuck Yushumer was going to bring it up for a vote and table it.

00:22:15.000 They knew that it was a show vote.

00:22:17.000 It is red meat to the conservative base, you, without any substantive changes to policy.

00:22:25.000 It's a show vote.

00:22:27.000 It feels good on cable television.

00:22:29.000 They get the nice Chiron House votes to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas, and everyone celebrates.

00:22:35.000 And then you say, what good did that actually do?

00:22:37.000 Is he going to be at least a very put into a trial?

00:22:40.000 I know that conviction is not going to happen.

00:22:41.000 No.

00:22:43.000 Now, if they were serious, border security for America would be in the Ukraine bill.

00:22:48.000 Mike Johnson, you listening?

00:22:50.000 If you are serious, this is again, Mike Johnson, he is not equipped for the job.

00:22:55.000 Mike Johnson reminds me of kind of the dorky kid that was bullied his entire life, super smart, got good grades, and he's finally like able to be liked by the bullies.

00:23:03.000 Like he finally got, and Blake is really offended by this.

00:23:06.000 Blake, you know the type.

00:23:08.000 And he finally now is able to like kind of be into the cool click.

00:23:14.000 I've said this for a while and people make fun of me.

00:23:17.000 You can learn more about human psychology in the movie Mean Girls than I think people realize.

00:23:26.000 That is a profoundly, not the new one, the old one.

00:23:28.000 That is a profoundly deep psychological film of the fact of how clicks work, of how incentives work.

00:23:33.000 Anyway, I'm not here to give a speech on mean girls, but that's a separate issue.

00:23:36.000 But Mike Johnson was outside of the click.

00:23:38.000 He was teased.

00:23:39.000 He was bullied.

00:23:40.000 And finally, he was able to come into the cool kids' club.

00:23:44.000 Obviously, insecure, obviously bullied a lot in his life.

00:23:47.000 And finally, he gets to be in the briefing room with Joe Biden.

00:23:51.000 He gets to be around a bunch of generals.

00:23:55.000 He gets to be in the situation room.

00:23:59.000 For a once-bullied, nerdy lawyer from Louisiana, those trappings of power, he's just an awe.

00:24:08.000 He's an important person.

00:24:11.000 Mike Johnson got mentally dominated by the United States Security State.

00:24:16.000 Oh, no, we need to stop Putin.

00:24:18.000 The Balkans are going to fall. 0.97

00:24:20.000 Yeah, they're on their way to Lisbon, Mike Johnson.

00:24:24.000 Oh, no, if we don't let the FBI spy on everybody without a warrant, we'll have another at 9-11.

00:24:30.000 If Mike Johnson was serious, you see, this is how negotiation works.

00:24:34.000 I'm 30 years old.

00:24:35.000 We run a big business here.

00:24:36.000 We have 600 people.

00:24:37.000 We've done plenty of negotiations.

00:24:39.000 I'm by no means an expert, but let me give you some free advice, Mike Johnson.

00:24:43.000 You say you have no leverage.

00:24:44.000 Wrong.

00:24:44.000 You're the speaker of the house.

00:24:45.000 You have plenty of leverage.

00:24:47.000 So, what does the regime want the most?

00:24:50.000 Everybody in life has a hierarchy.

00:24:52.000 The thing the regime wants the most is Ukraine money.

00:24:56.000 That's number one.

00:24:57.000 It's not Taiwan money.

00:24:58.000 The Israel thing is not controversial.

00:25:01.000 So therefore, you find the thing they want the most, and then you find, then you tie that to the thing the country needs the most, and you tie them together.

00:25:13.000 So I don't think that Ukraine should receive a dollar, but I would be okay with Ukraine receiving money if it came with, I don't know, $10 billion to the southern border to Border Patrol for deportations and enforcement for additional barriers.

00:25:32.000 All of a sudden, now you're using leverage because then they would have to choose or for actual real substantive change in the law.

00:25:39.000 You see, if Mike Johnson was a serious negotiator, he would sit down with Chuck Schumer and say, look, you want Ukraine money.

00:25:44.000 The only way you're getting it is real deportations, real blocks on asylum.

00:25:47.000 And I'm willing to make this case to the American people.

00:25:49.000 You'll get your Ukraine money if we tie it with these three asks. 0.74

00:25:54.000 One, extra money for Border Patrol, two, actual deportations, three, real blocks on asylum claims.

00:25:59.000 And if you don't do that, Chuck Schumer, then we're going to have to bring this to the American people.

00:26:03.000 And I'm willing to go down to this.

00:26:04.000 Because, you know, the whole appealing story of Mike Johnson is he didn't ask for this.

00:26:09.000 That Mike Johnson didn't ask to become speaker, that he kind of just fell into it, that he doesn't have all this ambitious political career.

00:26:15.000 But I want to really explore this.

00:26:18.000 What happened to him?

00:26:19.000 Because if you ask anybody, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gates, Burchett, oh, Mike Johnson is a faithful Christian, that he's a really terrific guy, and that he is like far from a man of integrity now.

00:26:32.000 We were told that he was one of us.

00:26:35.000 What happened?

00:26:37.000 He got swallowed and captured by the administrative state.

00:26:42.000 They wore him down and they saw him and they said, oh, this will take like six weeks.

00:26:51.000 And we will break him.

00:26:54.000 We will break him.

00:26:56.000 And in some ways, you should fault him because he has deceived us and has engaged in outright treachery, but it's a tough job.

00:27:03.000 Very few people have the capacity to stand up to the United States Security State or the Intel agencies.

00:27:09.000 Very few people.

00:27:12.000 Mike Johnson told us repeatedly: no Ukraine money without border security.

00:27:17.000 And we've gotten the exact opposite.

00:27:19.000 And you have to just wonder.

00:27:20.000 I don't, I will say, I don't think it's blackmail. 0.95

00:27:24.000 I know some people say, oh, it's black man's fly.

00:27:25.000 I mean, it might be, obviously, Tim Burchett told us that happens all the time.

00:27:29.000 I think it's actually the nerdy kid that was bullied that broke.

00:27:35.000 And he said, you know, I could be with the conservatives, or I could be a hero and invited to all the cool parties and be liked by the regime and all the trappings of power.

00:27:46.000 And the border is just an afterthought.

00:27:48.000 America is just an afterthought to these people. 0.98

00:27:51.000 And they're so convinced that the most important thing is sustaining this rule-based international order, this garbage, this rubbish about invade the world, invite the world. 0.69

00:28:01.000 Doesn't matter that if we're in debt and we have a trillion dollars that we're borrowing every 100 days and the border's wide open and the country's collapsing, they need to just keep on throwing capital at Zelensky. 0.98

00:28:10.000 Doesn't matter they can't man an army or it's a meat grinder that they're losing an entire generation of young Ukrainian men. 0.91

00:28:15.000 None of that matters.

00:28:16.000 They can't even tell you how many young Ukrainians have died.

00:28:19.000 They literally cannot tell you.

00:28:21.000 I wonder if every member of Congress can actually find Ukraine on a map.

00:28:24.000 You know, that would be a really fun video.

00:28:26.000 We should send a reporter just to stand outside of the house with a map. 0.89

00:28:30.000 And I bet most lawmakers would get it right.

00:28:32.000 But even if you get one or two of them and they can't find Ukraine on a map, that would be viral resignation type stuff.

00:28:39.000 I bet, I would bet 10 to 20% can't find Ukraine on a map, without a doubt.

00:28:45.000 What happened to Mike Johnson?

00:28:47.000 He wanted to be liked.

00:28:50.000 He was tired of being bullied.

00:28:52.000 And he surrendered.

00:28:53.000 He capitulated.

00:28:55.000 That is not what a Christian does. 1.00

00:28:56.000 That's not what a man of faith does.

00:28:58.000 I gave him a shot.

00:28:59.000 I was cheering for him.

00:29:00.000 I'm saddened and heavy over this, but not shocked.

00:29:09.000 Three-star general Michael J. Flynn, head of the Pentagon Intelligence Agency, knew all the government's dirty secrets.

00:29:16.000 He was one of the most respected generals in the military.

00:29:18.000 Flynn knew what the Intel world had been up to.

00:29:20.000 He understood its funding.

00:29:22.000 He ordered the first audit of the use of contractors.

00:29:26.000 This set off alarm bells.

00:29:29.000 The explosive new documentary, Flynn, deliver the truth, whatever the cost, and covers the facts behind this scandal.

00:29:36.000 Flynn told the truth.

00:29:37.000 He was the most dangerous person for Donald Trump to hire.

00:29:40.000 I find out the worst enemy that I'm going to face in my life is right here in America.

00:29:46.000 They took my assessment and they wanted me to change it.

00:29:48.000 I was like, I'm changing it.

00:29:50.000 They had to get rid of Flynn.

00:29:51.000 With in-depth interviews, archival footage, and never-before-seen personal record to the man behind the headlines.

00:29:58.000 I just felt like I was drowning.

00:30:00.000 Flynn, deliver the truth, whatever the cost.

00:30:03.000 Available now.

00:30:04.000 Watch it today.

00:30:05.000 Go to satemnow.com.

00:30:07.000 Sademnow.com.

00:30:12.000 There's a group of people that are still trying to understand how did this happen so quickly.

00:30:16.000 You understand that the representative form of government the founders designed is not truly who runs the country.

00:30:22.000 The administrative state does.

00:30:23.000 The generals, the CIA, the Department of Justice, and they got to him.

00:30:28.000 Now, if there's a replacement, there's no choice but to vacate.

00:30:31.000 You got to figure it out.

00:30:32.000 But we are now flirting with something very dangerous where our base believes that there is no reason to ever give Republicans power in DC again.

00:30:44.000 That is a very dangerous trajectory to be on.

00:30:50.000 And it's hard for me to disagree.

00:30:52.000 What am I supposed to say?

00:30:53.000 Brag about all the money we're sent in Ukraine?

00:30:55.000 Brag about all the money that we're borrowing?

00:30:57.000 Brag about how we lied about the border?

00:30:59.000 Brag about how we gave the FBI unilateral unconstitutional spying powers?

00:31:04.000 Bragged about how your big accomplishment is a show vote that goes to the Senate and Schumer tables it within five minutes.

00:31:09.000 Bragged that you guys expelled Santos.

00:31:12.000 It can't, it doesn't have to be this way.

00:31:16.000 And one day we are going to fix it.

00:31:18.000 And that is why I'm sympathetic.

00:31:20.000 And I'm not, again, it has to be done strategically right.

00:31:22.000 I'm not a parliamentarian.

00:31:23.000 I don't want to, I don't want to blow something up irresponsibly.

00:31:28.000 However, there's no choice but to vacate once there's a plan.

00:31:34.000 Because if you betray the Constitution and just lie to your voters and lie to your conference, Speaker Johnson very well might be going to change a rule with Democrat support, according to Jim Banks and Thomas Massey.

00:31:47.000 He might go to Democrats to bail out his speakership.

00:31:50.000 That is not a Republican speaker.

00:31:52.000 Say what you will about Kevin McCarthy.

00:31:55.000 Democrats then bail out his speakership.

00:31:58.000 And I will say this: I actually think Kevin was better than Mike Johnson in this regard.

00:32:03.000 And I know this audience is no fan of Kevin McCarthy, but hear me out one second here.

00:32:07.000 Kevin McCarthy never pretended to be a movement Christian conservative.

00:32:14.000 He never did.

00:32:16.000 He was very clear.

00:32:18.000 I'm here to kind of govern the status quo.

00:32:20.000 I hear you guys as conservatives.

00:32:22.000 I am a conservative, but I'm not, I'm not one of these movement types.

00:32:27.000 Mike Johnson played the opposite card.

00:32:29.000 He goes and talks about how he has a biblical worldview in like one of his first interviews.

00:32:32.000 Open a Bible.

00:32:33.000 That's exactly what my worldview will be.

00:32:36.000 So this one hurts more.

00:32:38.000 And you're held to a higher standard as soon as you invoke the labels that we cherish the most, which is Christian conservative.

00:32:47.000 Kevin McCarthy would never describe himself in that way.

00:32:50.000 Instead, he's just kind of like, look, I'm a guy that wants to be speaker really bad.

00:32:54.000 And I worked really hard for it.

00:32:56.000 And I don't have like that deeply held beliefs on these things.

00:32:59.000 And so I held him to a lower standard in that way.

00:33:02.000 But what this now does to future Christians that run for office is it makes all Christians look bad in politics. 0.99

00:33:09.000 It makes Christians look like chumps, look like liars, look deceptive, look treacherous. 1.00

00:33:16.000 So Mike Johnson made the decision to invoke the holy to say that I'm a Christian. 0.99

00:33:22.000 I read the Bible.

00:33:24.000 Mike McCall says that Mike Johnson got on his knees and prayed for wisdom for about this.

00:33:32.000 I don't know what voice you're hearing, Mike Johnson, but it's not the Holy Spirit telling you to go kill more Ukrainian men and lie about it.

00:33:38.000 And you could have been a Joshua.

00:33:40.000 You could have been strong and courageous, as it says in Joshua 1:9.

00:33:46.000 You could have been a David.

00:33:48.000 You could have been a Samson. 0.95

00:33:50.000 You could have been an Elijah. 0.98

00:33:52.000 You could have been a John the Baptist, seeing forward and calling out the error into a time where it's necessary.

00:34:00.000 You could have been an Apostle Paul.

00:34:02.000 You could have been a real leader.

00:34:05.000 Instead, you're kind of like Ahab.

00:34:08.000 You're controlled.

00:34:10.000 Ahab was controlled by the spirit of Jezebel. 0.92

00:34:12.000 I'm not saying that's what's controlling you, but you're the one that's in need of rebuke, not the one that's rebuking.

00:34:17.000 And let's just play this out in the last 20 seconds.

00:34:19.000 You could have held the line, shut down the government, and they could have just run you over, but you would have gone down guns ablazing as a hero for this republic.

00:34:26.000 You could have been an example that the people have a representative, and you would have been remembered for generations as the speaker who held the line for the country.

00:34:39.000 And instead, you've done the opposite.

00:34:41.000 You've made a mockery and a disgrace to the speaker's office, and you should resign.

00:34:47.000 Chip Roy, who's a great American, he's on the front lines here to walk us through it.

00:34:51.000 Chip, welcome to the program.

00:34:53.000 Just so, Chip, I mean, you're an insider here.

00:34:57.000 I'm fine.

00:34:58.000 My country is not.

00:35:00.000 So, am I, Chip?

00:35:01.000 I did a whole hour talking about how Mike Johnson has deceived us, lied to us, is now working with Democrats to get things passed.

00:35:08.000 Chip, take some time, lay out the case because it has been an egregious week in Washington, D.C., brought to you by Speaker Johnson.

00:35:15.000 Chip Roy, walk us through it.

00:35:17.000 Yeah, Charlie, and look, and I'm very disappointed, and I always reserve judgment on a very personal basis.

00:35:23.000 People that I work with, and have had a long time history working with Mike.

00:35:26.000 I'm going to let the people decide.

00:35:28.000 Let me just walk through the facts, okay?

00:35:30.000 If you go back to when he became speaker, which was basically October 25th or 6th, from that time all the way until very recently, the speaker has been very clear.

00:35:40.000 Let me quote: November 2nd, 2023.

00:35:42.000 We have obligations, we have things we can and should do around the world, but we have to take care of our own house first.

00:35:48.000 And as long as the border is wide open, we're opening ourselves up for great threat.

00:35:51.000 November 5th, said on Fox News, again, we can do all these things together, but when you couple Ukraine and the border, that makes sense to people because they say we're going to protect Ukraine's border and we have to do what is necessary there.

00:36:02.000 We don't want Putin to prevail, but we have to take care of our own border first.

00:36:07.000 November 27th, he said, quote, what we said is that if there's an additional assistance to Ukraine, which most members of Congress believe is important, that's a debate, but it's a split.

00:36:17.000 We have to also work on changing our own border policy.

00:36:20.000 December 5th, he said something similar.

00:36:22.000 And this is really important.

00:36:23.000 Okay, Charlie, I think this is really important.

00:36:25.000 When he talks about the extent to which we needed clarity, he said, second, I explained Congress and the American people must be provided with answers to our repeated questions concerning the administration's strategy to prevail in Ukraine.

00:36:37.000 Clearly defined and obtainable objectives, transparency and accountability.

00:36:42.000 With regard to the U.S. border, the need to regain operational control has never been more urgent, and the American people deserve immediate action.

00:36:47.000 Last point I will make, and there's dozens more examples.

00:36:50.000 He went to the border in January and he said, quote, I told the president what I have been saying for many months, and that is that we must have changed to the border, substantive policy change.

00:37:00.000 He said, if President Biden wants a supplemental spending bill focused on national security, it better begin with defending America's national security.

00:37:07.000 We have now had a complete flip-flop on that stated position.

00:37:12.000 We have built everything we've been doing towards that goal, that objective.

00:37:18.000 I just stated in the rules committee in front of all of the witnesses and on camera, I want to support Israel.

00:37:26.000 I very much want to support Israel.

00:37:27.000 I would vote on a rule right now to support Israel.

00:37:30.000 I want to have a good conversation about what we can do with Ukraine with legal aid with a clear mission.

00:37:37.000 But I don't want to do any of it until we've secured the border of the United States.

00:37:41.000 We've had 24,300 Chinese nationals come into the United States since October 1 that we know of.

00:37:46.000 That does not include gotaways.

00:37:48.000 That is more than all of 23 fiscal year.

00:37:52.000 That is more than the 381.

00:37:54.000 That was all in fiscal year 21 in the last year that we had President Trump's policies.

00:38:00.000 This is an abject failure.

00:38:01.000 It's a capitulation.

00:38:03.000 We should not do it.

00:38:04.000 That's why some of us are fighting to take down the rule.

00:38:08.000 But unfortunately, we believe the speaker is poised to do what has not been done in many, many decades, and that is to move the rule through committee with Democrat votes through committee.

00:38:20.000 And Chip, I just, what is the thought process here?

00:38:24.000 What is the mentality?

00:38:25.000 Why is this colleague of yours who's the speaker who everyone speaks very highly of and said he was this you know really good guy and fought the and held the line why is he all of a sudden acting no differently than john boehner and paul ryan can you help me understand that well i mean again And I do think when you go back and look at certain votes, there were some tells.

00:38:49.000 He was on the House Armed Services Committee.

00:38:53.000 For example, he voted to fund the military with the draft their daughters provision in it.

00:38:59.000 There were things like that that I think were problematic with a sort of tilt towards, and I'm not even trying to be pejorative.

00:39:05.000 I think there's a tilt towards the kind of national security worldview.

00:39:10.000 And it is the national security worldview, which, by the way, I grew up under the 80s under Reagan, right?

00:39:16.000 I very much strongly support an actual peace-through strength effort.

00:39:20.000 But what we have here is a default to what the defense world is telling you you must do, and then a fear of them standing up and fighting for the thing you know the people sent us here to do.

00:39:32.000 There is a place to go with this, but the speaker doesn't want to go there because it requires looking at the president and saying, Mr. President, I agree with you that we need to do something on Ukraine.

00:39:43.000 And I think a good number of our conference believe that, but you're not going to get a dollar, okay, unless we secure the border of the United States, period.

00:39:52.000 You're not going to.

00:39:53.000 And if you don't understand that, then we'll see you in November.

00:39:56.000 And if you're not willing to do that, if you're not willing to let that awkward silence hang over and stare them in the eye, then you're never going to win the thing you said you were going to go fight for.

00:40:06.000 And then the uniparty and the swamp win.

00:40:09.000 That's what's happening right now.

00:40:11.000 Some of us are trying to thwart that.

00:40:13.000 I don't think we can in the end, but we're going to throw everything we have at it.

00:40:16.000 So, Chip, I know I'm putting you on the spot with some of this stuff, and I know you have to work alongside all these individuals.

00:40:21.000 Help me understand FISA.

00:40:23.000 You were great on FISA.

00:40:24.000 Thomas Massey was great.

00:40:25.000 We almost had an amendment requirement to FISA, which would have been a massive win chip.

00:40:31.000 And yet the Speaker of the House decided to side with the FBI.

00:40:34.000 Can you just kind of walk us through all the drama that led into the FISA vote and the complete surrender of what could have been a monumental victory to restore the Fourth Amendment?

00:40:46.000 Yeah, I mean, let me just say in the positive, because we always run the risk of making our base cynical and make all the people that are listening to this program say, why do we even bother?

00:40:55.000 And I understand that.

00:40:56.000 I share those concerns.

00:40:57.000 I mean, I'm away from my family up here beating my head against the wall every day, trying to shift the Titanic from the iceberg.

00:41:04.000 And in that case, the positive, we actually got a vote on FISA, Fourth Amendment protections and a warrant requirement.

00:41:11.000 That took massive lifting, which is shocking.

00:41:13.000 It should tell you about the nature of this town.

00:41:16.000 But we were able to get it.

00:41:17.000 And obviously it fell 212 to 212.

00:41:20.000 But it took a colossal battle by myself, Jim Jordan, Warren Davidson, Thomas Massey, others that fought for it to get it.

00:41:28.000 And we got it.

00:41:29.000 And as you noted, there were everybody, every Republican who voted for it, which was about, what, 86 or 7, I think.

00:41:38.000 They own it.

00:41:39.000 And one of those individuals was the speaker.

00:41:41.000 I believe that this is a similar decision point.

00:41:44.000 I believe the speaker is making a decision out of fear.

00:41:48.000 I believe he is also allowing the excuse of, hey, you guys, you conservatives, you won't give me a rule to move a bill that I believe we need to move.

00:41:59.000 My answer to the speaker on that is, I told him two days ago the House Freedom Caucus would support a rule to put Israel only on the floor so we could have a full-throated debate on Israel only and send it to the Senate with an amendment on a pay for whether it would pass or fail, send it to the Senate.

00:42:17.000 Then you could have a full-throated debate on Ukraine with border.

00:42:21.000 Let's have it out.

00:42:22.000 Let's see what we can get done.

00:42:24.000 See what happens on a rule on that.

00:42:26.000 And let's force it all, put amendments down.

00:42:28.000 And if some of our conservatives kill the rule, then they own it.

00:42:32.000 I mean, that's one of the reasons I opposed the motion to vacate last September on Kevin was that Kevin had been working with us to get this stuff done.

00:42:40.000 And we put a bill on the floor, which was a continuing resolution with HR2 attached.

00:42:45.000 And we wanted to move that forward.

00:42:46.000 You know what?

00:42:47.000 Some conservatives killed it.

00:42:49.000 My answer to that is great.

00:42:50.000 You all own that then, right?

00:42:52.000 You made the decision not to move it.

00:42:55.000 I don't even remember what your position was on that at the time, Charlie, but all I care about is we're trying to move this forward with a process where we can actually have a voice and not end up doing what they always do, which is what the Unit Party wants, which is to do what the defense world wants and do exactly what Joe Biden is now applauding and Chuck Schumer is applauding, which is move another big spending foreign funding bill.

00:43:17.000 And just the FISA thing was just so egregious because, again, I want to be very clear for the record.

00:43:22.000 I gave Mike Johnson some space the last couple months and I was rooting for him.

00:43:26.000 I wanted to be his biggest fan.

00:43:28.000 I want to see him triumph.

00:43:29.000 And he had this opportunity.

00:43:31.000 He comes down, a guy that's a constitutional lawyer.

00:43:35.000 And he says, I think the founding fathers were wrong.

00:43:38.000 I know you got to run, Chip.

00:43:39.000 I'm sorry.

00:43:40.000 I forgot on timing.

00:43:41.000 Chip, keep fighting.

00:43:42.000 You're doing a wonderful job.

00:43:43.000 The people of Texas are blessed to have you in the trenches.

00:43:46.000 I want everyone to know, for those of you guys in Texas Hill Country, you got a good one in Chip Roy.

00:43:49.000 He's working his tail off for the betterment of the country.

00:43:52.000 Chip, thanks so much.

00:43:52.000 God bless, Charlie.

00:43:53.000 Take care.

00:43:57.000 Hey, this is Charlie Kirk, and I know a lot of you have been suffering under the Biden economy.

00:44:01.000 Recently, school loan payments have been reinstated.

00:44:04.000 And for many, it's adding thousands to their monthly expenses.

00:44:07.000 My friends, Andrew Del Ray and Todd of Akien, they're amazing.

00:44:09.000 They really helped me through a tough, tough situation recently.

00:44:12.000 They've been excellent.

00:44:13.000 They're ethical.

00:44:14.000 They're just really great people.

00:44:16.000 They're followers of Jesus Christ.

00:44:18.000 And our worldviews are the same.

00:44:20.000 I love them.

00:44:21.000 And so please go to AndrewNTodd.com.

00:44:22.000 Interest rates are coming down, and they may be able to lower your overall payment.

00:44:25.000 In fact, one of our team members said, Charlie, is it time to me to own a home?

00:44:28.000 I sat down.

00:44:29.000 I went to the numbers.

00:44:29.000 I said, get in the owner game.

00:44:31.000 Honestly, enough renting.

00:44:32.000 You are burning your money renting.

00:44:33.000 It might be a little bit more to own, but you're building equity.

00:44:35.000 That's money you'll have for the rest of your life.

00:44:38.000 Perhaps a reverse mortgage is a perfect solution.

00:44:40.000 It's about expertise you could trust in times like this.

00:44:42.000 I can't tell you how helpful they've been for me personally.

00:44:44.000 They've just been excellent.

00:44:45.000 Andrew and Todd, I'm honored to call them friends.

00:44:47.000 We hang out when I go to Orange County together.

00:44:49.000 They're really great.

00:44:50.000 So say, Charlie sent me 888-888-1172.

00:44:53.000 That's 888, 888, 1172.

00:44:55.000 They helped me through a mortgage situation recently that was super complex and moving pieces, and it was really, really tough.

00:45:01.000 And other banks, by the way, wanted nothing to do with it, and they crushed it for me.

00:45:05.000 10 out of 10.

00:45:05.000 AndrewNTodd.com.

00:45:07.000 So check it out right now, andrewandTodd.com.

00:45:11.000 How on earth can you remain speaker as a Republican and give $300 million to Ukraine for their border and zero for our own border?

00:45:18.000 Zero.

00:45:19.000 It's just, I could tell you why.

00:45:21.000 It's because there's no accountability.

00:45:24.000 And if you're going to betray your base repeatedly, by the way, the audience is right with us.

00:45:29.000 The audience is with us.

00:45:31.000 You guys have zero tolerance for this.

00:45:34.000 It is an insult to all of our combined intelligence when people are defending Mike Johnson.

00:45:40.000 Mike Johnson has lied to me personally.

00:45:42.000 He told me on the phone, Charlie, we will not do Ukraine unless we secure the border.

00:45:48.000 He's not even trying to do that.

00:45:50.000 He's not even attempting.

00:45:52.000 Not even a little bit of an inch of an attempt.

00:45:55.000 This jury selection thing with Trump, I have to talk about this.

00:45:58.000 This is too good.

00:46:00.000 We have to dive into it.

00:46:01.000 Let's play this piece of tape here.

00:46:03.000 This is Cut 83.

00:46:05.000 A prospective Trump juror admits she has concerns about being fair and balanced.

00:46:09.000 PlayCut 83.

00:46:11.000 Yesterday, the court received a call from juror number two after sleeping on it overnight.

00:46:18.000 She apparently has concerns about being fair and balanced.

00:46:23.000 And they're bringing her now in to be questioned.

00:46:27.000 There's another tape here where they actually bring her out and they talk about exactly why that they are concerned that she's not fair and balanced.

00:46:35.000 This is Cut 87 from MSNBC, PlayCut 87.

00:46:38.000 And she said in part that she got calls just yesterday alone from, quote, friends, colleagues, and family, quote, questioning my identity as a juror.

00:46:48.000 She continued, I don't believe I can be fair and unbiased and let the outside influences not affect me in the courtroom.

00:46:55.000 This hits at the heart of the difficulty for these jurors over the course of the next six to eight weeks.

00:47:02.000 Donald Trump is in a show trial in New York, and still some people are struggling to grapple with exactly what is occurring.

00:47:10.000 Donald Trump is effectively on house arrest right now.

00:47:14.000 He's basically on house arrest.

00:47:17.000 This is a way to completely disrupt the political campaign season, and the Democrats are loving it.

00:47:23.000 There's another Trump juror, by the way, that was previously arrested for ripping down right-leaning political ads and now has been dismissed from trial.

00:47:30.000 This is going to go down to a core issue.

00:47:32.000 How can you find an unbiased juror?

00:47:36.000 How can you?

00:47:38.000 In the city of New York, we now live in New Zealand code justice, where the type of trial you're going to get, the type of decision you are going to get, is wholly dependent on where the trial is held.

00:47:52.000 The entire case is the jury selection.

00:47:56.000 This is worth repeating.

00:47:57.000 Play cut 76 here.

00:47:59.000 They had things on their social media posts that Donald Trump and his lawyers found troubling.

00:48:05.000 And one of the videos happened to be the juror, juror number one, had taken a video at a distance of what looked like a celebration in the streets of New York for when Trump lost in 2020.

00:48:17.000 I think that was it.

00:48:18.000 And it showed that she was biased and there was some language that suggested that she might have a bias.

00:48:24.000 But the judge had, there was some back and forth between the lawyers and then the judge actually admonished the former president because he was huffing and puffing and gesturing towards the juror.

00:48:36.000 He said it was, the judge said, it was completely inappropriate.

00:48:38.000 And he said, I won't tolerate it.

00:48:39.000 I won't have any jurors intimidated in this courtroom.

00:48:43.000 George Conway is an MSMBC. 0.63

00:48:44.000 Trump doesn't have the ability to control himself in the courtroom.

00:48:48.000 They just want him in a corner.

00:48:52.000 They want him to snap.

00:48:55.000 And this is only going to make our movement stronger if we allow ourselves to use this as fuel to the fire.

00:49:01.000 And I understand these are the long days that wear us down.

00:49:04.000 We have a speaker of the house who cares more about Ukraine than America.

00:49:07.000 We have our leading, our candidate, our nominee, literally locked in a courtroom for four days a week.

00:49:13.000 We have our entire political movement.

00:49:15.000 We got Peter DeVaro in federal prison.

00:49:17.000 We got James O'Keefe.

00:49:19.000 His apartment is raided.

00:49:20.000 These are the days that try men's souls.

00:49:22.000 And I feel a sense of fatigue.

00:49:25.000 But the American people are still with us.

00:49:27.000 Somehow we're still up in the polls.

00:49:29.000 Our belief system and our worldview is still the majority in this country.

00:49:33.000 It's going to take grittiness, toughness, the likes of which we have not had to dig that deep in a long time.

00:49:40.000 And I understand if you're a sunshine summer patriot, I understand.

00:49:45.000 But we need every single one of you to continue to fight.

00:49:50.000 Are you ready to lose weight, but not sure where to start?

00:49:52.000 I understand.

00:49:53.000 I was right where you are two years ago.

00:50:59.000 Check it out.

00:50:59.000 Myphdweightloss.com.

00:51:03.000 Joining us now is Marjorie Taylor Greene, MTG.

00:51:06.000 All right, MTG, I need you to walk us through all of this here.

00:51:09.000 You have a vacate petition.

00:51:11.000 Are you going to submit that today?

00:51:13.000 Are we going to vacate the chair today?

00:51:14.000 Well, there's no more opportunity today on the House floor to be recognized to call up a motion to vacate Charlie.

00:51:21.000 And we have to be very careful with what's proceeding forward.

00:51:24.000 But there's a timeline that possibly has been increased, Charlie.

00:51:28.000 And that is because Speaker Johnson is looking and what we're being told to change the rules to the motion to vacate within the rule that is being passed through the rules committee right now.

00:51:40.000 I know that sounds so confusing for your viewers, and it is confusing, believe me.

00:51:45.000 That's probably why Congress is so messed up.

00:51:47.000 But the Rules Committee is weighing the foreign aid, foreign war package that has the $60 billion for Ukraine right now.

00:51:56.000 We're introducing amendments and arguing our amendments on the rules for that bill.

00:52:01.000 But we have been told that Speaker Johnson is looking to change the rules on the motion to vacate and put it in that rule.

00:52:09.000 That'll come to the floor for a vote and Congress could pass it and the Democrats could help make that happen.

00:52:16.000 This would be the first time in history where Democrats would be saving a Republican speaker.

00:52:23.000 That would prove right there, Charlie, that Speaker Johnson is hold on.

00:52:28.000 I got to interrupt you, MTG.

00:52:30.000 All of a sudden, Speaker Johnson's being tough and cunning.

00:52:32.000 He's now like a master of the rules.

00:52:34.000 Like he's willing to leverage and negotiate.

00:52:37.000 I thought he's just this kind of nerdy dude in the corner that just gets run over.

00:52:41.000 Go ahead, Mike Gallagher.

00:52:42.000 You could resign.

00:52:43.000 Go ahead, Ukraine.

00:52:44.000 But now when it comes for a speakership, he's willing to cut a deal with the Democrats and he's willing to lie.

00:52:49.000 Is he a liar, Marjorie Taylor Greene?

00:52:52.000 Well, it certainly appears so because his words don't match his actions, Charlie.

00:52:56.000 And when people's words don't match their actions, then they are indeed proving themselves to be a liar.

00:53:01.000 He told us over and over again he would never give any money to Ukraine until he secured the southern border and forced the Democrats to take action to secure the border.

00:53:10.000 And that indeed has turned out to be a lie.

00:53:13.000 He's trying to put through a rule on a border security bill that is basically just a washed out version of HR2, the bill we've already passed.

00:53:22.000 Speaker Johnson should be forcing the Democrats to pass HR2 before we send any type of a funding package for any other country.

00:53:30.000 And I'm flat out against it in the first place, Charlie.

00:53:32.000 I don't think our economy and American businesses should be built on blood money and murder and foreign wars.

00:53:39.000 And I'm really sick of that model of business from Washington, D.C.

00:53:42.000 And so are the American people.

00:53:44.000 Here's my recommendation.

00:53:44.000 You need a replacement.

00:53:45.000 I think you guys should have a temporary Newt Gingrich's speaker.

00:53:48.000 I'm not kidding.

00:53:49.000 I think that Newt Gingrich should be a temporary speaker until the end of the year.

00:53:52.000 He's not actually a member of it.

00:53:54.000 You need an alternative.

00:53:56.000 Are you guys talking about alternatives here?

00:53:57.000 And look, I know that it could be chaos.

00:53:59.000 Potentially Hakeem Jeffries could become speaker.

00:54:01.000 Nobody wants that.

00:54:03.000 But let me just be very clear.

00:54:04.000 You cannot, as Speaker of the House, come and be the deciding vote against the U.S. Constitution with the Fourth Amendment and come out unscathed.

00:54:11.000 I will not put up with that.

00:54:12.000 That was the crossing of the Rubicon.

00:54:14.000 And for the record, Marjorie, I was cheering for this guy.

00:54:17.000 I gave him room to operate.

00:54:18.000 We had him on the show a couple of weeks ago.

00:54:20.000 I was cheering for him.

00:54:21.000 I was rooting for him.

00:54:23.000 I wanted him to succeed.

00:54:24.000 I thought he'd be a big kind of, let's just say, an upgrade.

00:54:29.000 And I am horrified and infuriated because we have this tape here that we're downloading here and we're getting it of all the different times he said that we're not going to do Ukraine without the border.

00:54:40.000 And you have the FISA stuff.

00:54:41.000 And now he's willing to go work with Democrats.

00:54:43.000 That has not happened in 60 years.

00:54:46.000 And MTG, I'll be honest, you know, a couple weeks ago, I was like, I don't know if we should, you know, vacate and all this.

00:54:51.000 Now if we don't vacate, we're basically saying the Fourth Amendment doesn't matter.

00:54:56.000 Our own country does not matter.

00:54:58.000 Your reaction, MTG?

00:55:00.000 I completely agree with you, Charlie.

00:55:02.000 Listen, none of us want to go through another vacating the speaker.

00:55:05.000 We do not want to have to go through a speaker fight and votes.

00:55:08.000 It was painful.

00:55:09.000 It was difficult.

00:55:10.000 And it truly hurt our conference.

00:55:12.000 However, Charlie, think about it.

00:55:14.000 You're at college campuses all over the country as you're talking to college students, and these kids are under assault.

00:55:20.000 And it's because Republican leaders never stand up and stop the radical Democrat agenda.

00:55:26.000 They just talk a big game on TV when they're on the television or in their five-minute committee hearings or on the campaign trail.

00:55:33.000 But when it comes to actually taking the action to stop the horrible things that the Democrats are doing in the DEI and the woke agenda and the abortion funding up until the day of birth, they don't actually do it.

00:55:45.000 And Mike Johnson has never taken the steps to hold the Democrats accountable.

00:55:50.000 As a matter of fact, he's helping pass their agenda.

00:55:53.000 That's why I wrote that five-page dear colleague letter just a couple of weeks ago, explaining to everyone here, this is why Mike Johnson cannot be our speaker.

00:56:03.000 And then he followed up a week later, just like you said, crossing the Rubicon, passing FISA, but betraying everyone with his vote being the final vote against the warrant requirement, which was so outrageous.

00:56:16.000 But this week, Charlie, here's the real kick in the teeth for Americans. 0.57

00:56:20.000 Monday was April 15th, tax day.

00:56:23.000 And as hardworking Americans are going to pay their taxes and had to pay it on Monday and scrounge up the Monday or file the money or file an extension to give time to find more money to pay their taxes, Mike Johnson is leading the effort for the Pentagon, the sake of the Pentagon, to fund the war in the Ukraine that people are absolutely sick and tired of.

00:56:46.000 And I fully agree with you.

00:56:48.000 And I promise everyone watching, I will be as responsible with this as possible.

00:56:53.000 You got to be responsible.

00:56:54.000 So we can no longer.

00:56:55.000 Look, we can no longer allow this.

00:56:58.000 Yeah, you can't allow it to happen.

00:56:59.000 And you're dealing with a nuclear weapon here.

00:57:01.000 You know that.

00:57:01.000 And you have to be very responsible.

00:57:03.000 You got to find a replacement.

00:57:04.000 You got to measure twice and vacate once.

00:57:06.000 But you cannot allow this to go without recourse.

00:57:09.000 And everyone beat the judge.

00:57:10.000 You know, some people are now defending Mike Johnson.

00:57:12.000 They're going doing videos.

00:57:13.000 Oh, Mike Johnson is an honorable person.

00:57:16.000 I wanted to believe that.

00:57:18.000 I gave him so much rope.

00:57:21.000 I want everyone to listen to this one minute summary, one minute summary, play cut 100.

00:57:27.000 Telling all of you, and we've told the American people, border, border, border.

00:57:32.000 We have to affect real policy change at the border, and that is a necessary condition to anything we do going forward.

00:57:38.000 We have to take care of our border first. 0.62

00:57:40.000 That's what the American people demand.

00:57:42.000 Every state in America is now a border state.

00:57:45.000 Border, border, border.

00:57:47.000 How can we be engaged in securing the border of foreign countries if we can't secure our own? 0.97

00:57:52.000 You know the urgency in Ukraine.

00:57:53.000 We were going to stand for freedom and make sure that Vladimir Putin doesn't march through Europe.

00:57:57.000 It's a pastime to secure the border.

00:57:59.000 Listen, this is a catastrophe down here.

00:58:01.000 The battle is for the border.

00:58:03.000 President Biden wants a supplemental spending bill.

00:58:05.000 It better begin by defending America's national security.

00:58:09.000 These are dangerous people who are coming to the country. 1.00

00:58:11.000 Over 300 known terrorists.

00:58:14.000 How can we be engaged in securing the border of foreign countries if we can't secure our own? 0.97

00:58:20.000 MTG, what happened to this guy?

00:58:22.000 I don't know.

00:58:22.000 I don't know where he is.

00:58:24.000 Nobody knows anymore.

00:58:26.000 I mean, the types of conversations people are having about what happened to Mike Johnson, it's absolutely outrageous.

00:58:32.000 Here's the real truth.

00:58:33.000 He's going to claim that he has tried to defend the border.

00:58:36.000 He's going to talk about the articles of impeachment.

00:58:38.000 We walked over to the Senate.

00:58:39.000 By the way, those were my articles of impeachment that we walked over to the Senate.

00:58:44.000 Mike Johnson blew it.

00:58:45.000 He should have demanded Chuck Schumer hold a trial in the Senate before there was going to be any type of foreign aid package sent over to the Senate.

00:58:54.000 He caved on that.

00:58:55.000 He could have forced Chuck Schumer and the Senate to have a vote on HR2 and demand that the White House sign HR2, our strong border security bill, into law before we send any foreign aid package over to the Senate and the White House.

00:59:08.000 He caved on that.

00:59:09.000 When it came to the power of the purse, he completely passed Joe Biden's administration's budget in full and even gave a gift to the FBI, a brand new $200 billion FBI building, the same FBI that raided Mar-Lago.

00:59:24.000 He funded the Department of Justice.

00:59:26.000 It has 91 federal indictments against President Trump.

00:59:29.000 And he funded Joe Biden's wide open border policies. 0.98

00:59:33.000 That's right there proves him to be the biggest liar, Charlie.

00:59:37.000 He funded the open border policies, funded the invasion of America, did nothing to secure the border. 0.73

00:59:44.000 And then now he's ramming through $60 billion for Ukraine.

00:59:48.000 I mean, this is perhaps one of the worst betrayals in American history for one speaker to his own party and to his own voters.

00:59:57.000 And we've watched it happen in less than seven months.

01:00:01.000 So this cannot be tolerated.

01:00:03.000 And I know people are afraid with our razor-thin majority.

01:00:06.000 I know people are worried about that.

01:00:09.000 And I promise you, we are not going to hand over the gavel to Hakeem Jeffries.

01:00:13.000 The only way that happens is if Republicans leave.

01:00:17.000 If they leave, they will be responsible for that.

01:00:20.000 And if Republicans were to vote for Hakeem Jeffries, then they would be responsible for that, not me for trying to hold our party and our leadership accountable.

01:00:29.000 And the question is, we can't just keep kicking the can down the road, Charlie.

01:00:34.000 We can't say, oh, next Congress or when Trump comes into office, because there's no guarantee of the future.

01:00:41.000 There is no guarantee of winning an election until we actually win it.

01:00:45.000 So we have to fight the fight right now because honestly, Charlie, we are losing our country.

01:00:50.000 And there's not going to be a next time, perhaps.

01:00:52.000 There may not be another chance in the future.

01:00:54.000 It's time to hold the Republican Party accountable and force it to be the party that the voters all want it to be.

01:01:01.000 And that's what they vote for.

01:01:03.000 Oh, by the way, we're going to play new tape of another cheerleader for Mike Johnson, Nancy Pelosi, went on CNN and was complimenting Mike Johnson.

01:01:12.000 So we have Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Joe Scarborough.

01:01:15.000 They're all big Mike Johnson fans.

01:01:19.000 Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene continues with us.

01:01:23.000 All right, I want to play this piece of tape here that we have.

01:01:26.000 Do we have that other one of which one is Nancy Pelosi here?

01:01:29.000 Oh, that's Play Cut 99, the new chair of the Mike Johnson fan club, Play Cut 99.

01:01:35.000 Do you give him any credit for coming forward now and saying this is a matter of historical importance?

01:01:42.000 Well, it is.

01:01:43.000 I think it's courageous of him to say, because you have to understand that in his own caucus, the chairman of the intelligence committee and the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, two leaders respected on both sides of the aisle, have said that Russian propaganda has infiltrated the Republican side of the aisle.

01:02:01.000 So he has to deal with that.

01:02:03.000 And for him to say that the democracy in Ukraine is an issue that we must support is a bold statement.

01:02:13.000 She said courageous again before the clip cuts off.

01:02:15.000 So MTG, Mike Johnson has a big fan of Nancy Pelosi.

01:02:20.000 Yeah, that left me pretty much speechless there, Charlie.

01:02:22.000 You know, when you have Nancy Pelosi complimenting the Republican speaker of the House, you know, we're in serious trouble.

01:02:28.000 That means that's someone they like, they want to keep, and they want to continue working with.

01:02:33.000 I'd like to talk about that so-called Russian propaganda there.

01:02:36.000 Now, of course, we're not supporting Russia, nor we're not supporting Putin.

01:02:40.000 We're not supporting any of that stuff.

01:02:42.000 But here's the reality.

01:02:43.000 Before the war started, our own American media used to talk all the time about Nazis in Ukraine.

01:02:49.000 And now they want to claim that that is not true.

01:02:52.000 And while they claim they're defending democracy in Ukraine, Ukraine has canceled their elections.

01:02:58.000 They lock up members of the press.

01:03:00.000 They're oppressive and they stop any type of Christian religion unless it's approved by the government. 1.00

01:03:06.000 So this is not a democracy in Ukraine.

01:03:09.000 And the Nazi story is very real. 0.67

01:03:11.000 Time magazine did major pieces on it and videos on it.

01:03:15.000 NBC, many networks reported on this situation.

01:03:18.000 So the propaganda happens in our American media.

01:03:24.000 Definitely maybe not so much like they're claiming.

01:03:27.000 The Democrat Party is the party of propaganda.

01:03:30.000 They're the party of Russian collusion hoax and lies.

01:03:33.000 Spent tens of millions of dollars of the American people's hard-earned tax dollars on committees and lies with the January 6th committee.

01:03:40.000 Talk about propaganda.

01:03:42.000 January 6th is one of the biggest propaganda items that the American media and the Democrats sell every day.

01:03:48.000 But when you have Nancy Pelosi defending Mike Johnson, I think everyone's really upset and concerned over that.

01:03:56.000 MTG, thank you for your guidance here.

01:03:58.000 You know that you're dealing with some very sophisticated weaponry, some very heavy stuff, and we wish you the best as you try to navigate it.

01:04:06.000 Thank you.

01:04:06.000 Yeah.

01:04:07.000 Thank you, Charlie.

01:04:08.000 Email us, freedom at charliekirk.com.

01:04:10.000 I want to hear from you guys, though, as we wrap up this hour.

01:04:13.000 Is it time to vacate the chair with Mike Johnson?

01:04:16.000 What are your opinions on Mike Johnson after all of this that we've covered?

01:04:20.000 What is your stance and your opinion?

01:04:22.000 Here's a Democrat member of the House of Representatives.

01:04:25.000 I believe it is a Democrat.

01:04:26.000 Yep, Representative Adam Smith.

01:04:29.000 He says, quote, Mike Johnson has shown he's someone we can work with.

01:04:33.000 So you have member of the Democrats, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Joe Scarborough.

01:04:39.000 They all love Mike Johnson.

01:04:41.000 Biden, Schumer, Nancy.

01:04:43.000 Do Republicans describe Speaker Mike Johnson as someone that they can work with?

01:04:48.000 Who's actually in control?

01:04:50.000 We know who's in control.

01:04:50.000 It's not Mike Johnson.

01:04:51.000 Hasn't been for quite some time.

01:04:53.000 Let's play cut one-on-one.

01:04:55.000 All I ask is for someone that we can work with.

01:04:57.000 And Mike Johnson has kept the government open.

01:04:59.000 He allowed us to pass the appropriations bill so that process would go through a normal process.

01:05:05.000 And now he's allowed us to have a vote on this incredibly important supplemental.

01:05:09.000 And I think that, you know, it shows that he can't, it's someone we can work with, all right, in a respectable way.

01:05:15.000 So yes, I am prepared to not vacate the chair.

01:05:20.000 That means that if we vacate the chair, Democrats are going to bail out Mike Johnson.

01:05:23.000 He's already a coalition speaker.

01:05:25.000 Remember when we said if you get rid of Kevin McCarthy, you might get a coalition speaker?

01:05:29.000 We got one.

01:05:30.000 We got one.

01:05:32.000 We actually did end up getting a coalition government.

01:05:35.000 They just call it a Republican.

01:05:37.000 No FISA reforms, nothing on the border.

01:05:40.000 Ukraine, a bunch of money, no spending cuts, no shutdowns.

01:05:45.000 DOJ, by the way, you know, the FBI gets a new headquarters thanks to Mike Johnson.

01:05:49.000 Mike Johnson gave the FBI a brand new, big spanking headquarters.

01:05:54.000 And Democrats say we can work with him.

01:05:56.000 I will agree with Speaker Johnson on one thing.

01:05:59.000 He is a wartime speaker.

01:06:02.000 He's just at war with the base.

01:06:05.000 He's at war with us.

01:06:09.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.

01:06:10.000 Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.

01:06:13.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
