The Charlie Kirk Show - The Story of Turning Point USA: My Speech LIVE At AmericaFest

00:00:00.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:01.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:03.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:07.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:10.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:11.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:12.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:00:21.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:00:29.000 That's why we are here.

00:00:33.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com.

00:00:46.000 Thank you, guys.

00:00:49.000 Wow.

00:00:52.000 USA.

00:01:00.000 Wow.

00:01:02.000 Welcome to America Fest, everybody.

00:01:04.000 It's great to be here in Phoenix, Arizona.

00:01:07.000 It's just great.

00:01:10.000 13,000 people in Phoenix, Arizona, for the largest multi-day conservative event in the history of this country, everybody.

00:01:20.000 Unbelievable.

00:01:25.000 I got to tell you, first of all, the Turning Point USA staff, have they not done an unbelievable job putting on this event?

00:01:33.000 We had to add all these bleachers back here.

00:01:36.000 It's incredible.

00:01:37.000 It's unbelievable.

00:01:38.000 By the way, all 50 states are represented here at America Fest.

00:01:42.000 All 50 states.

00:01:45.000 And 14 countries represented.

00:01:51.000 Albania, Canada.

00:01:52.000 Boy, you got a tough one there.

00:01:54.000 Justin Trudeau.

00:01:55.000 He's got to go.

00:01:56.000 Finland, Germany.

00:01:58.000 By the way, conservatives are growing in Germany big time.

00:02:03.000 I'm told that these people are here legally.

00:02:06.000 Honduras, Mexico, Israel.

00:02:09.000 We love Israel.

00:02:10.000 Don't we love Israel?

00:02:11.000 We love Israel.

00:02:14.000 Korea, Poland.

00:02:16.000 We love Poland.

00:02:17.000 We can learn a lot from Poland.

00:02:18.000 I'll tell you what.

00:02:20.000 They have a border.

00:02:21.000 The United Kingdom.

00:02:24.000 Now they got to watch out if they'll let them back into their country. 1.00

00:02:26.000 China is here. 0.85

00:02:27.000 Somebody from China, the new federal state of China is here.

00:02:30.000 Austria and Japan.

00:02:32.000 15 countries represented here at America Fest as well.

00:02:35.000 I just think that's amazing.

00:02:40.000 And you look around, you're here for a reason.

00:02:43.000 You are here to celebrate this country, but you are here to be filled with hope.

00:02:48.000 It's been a tough year, hasn't it?

00:02:50.000 There's been some wins, and we'll celebrate those.

00:02:53.000 Your third annual America Fest.

00:02:56.000 It's amazing.

00:02:57.000 Who here has been here for multiple years?

00:02:58.000 Raise your hand.

00:02:59.000 That's amazing.

00:03:02.000 We're living through a top-down revolution, everybody.

00:03:05.000 We're living through a revolution that's different than most others.

00:03:08.000 It is a cultural revolution, similar to Mao's China. 0.57

00:03:13.000 But this revolution is when the powerful, the rich, the wealthy decide to use their power and their wealth to go after you.

00:03:24.000 Instead of building hospitals and improving our country, they are spending their money to destroy the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world.

00:03:33.000 George Soros, Lorene Powell Jobs, Mackenzie Bezos, Reid Hoffman, Mark Benihoff, Reed Hastings.

00:03:42.000 And yes, the person who calls himself president, Joe Biden.

00:03:44.000 That's right.

00:03:49.000 The psychology is that of civilizational suicide.

00:03:53.000 This country has never lived through the wealthiest hating the country.

00:03:59.000 What makes this movement different is that you are here as a grassroots response to the top-down revolution happening in this country.

00:04:09.000 You are here as teachers, as mothers, as students.

00:04:17.000 I want our Turning Point USA students to receive a round of applause.

00:04:21.000 These are the freedom fighters of America.

00:04:29.000 It's unbelievable what they're doing.

00:04:31.000 This is a bottom-up resistance, and it terrifies the ruling class.

00:04:37.000 I get asked sometimes by the media, they say, Charlie, you know, don't you think the country is so divided, right versus left?

00:04:43.000 I think there's some interesting divisions, but no, no, no.

00:04:46.000 That's not the true division.

00:04:48.000 The real division is Washington, D.C. versus America.

00:04:54.000 Do you know what makes Turning Point USA different and America Fest different?

00:04:58.000 We do this event as far as possible away from the kingdom of Washington, D.C.

00:05:04.000 I think we have too many groups headquartered in D.C.

00:05:07.000 I think these groups, oh, we're in D.C. and we do all this work.

00:05:10.000 I inherently don't trust you if you have an office in Washington, D.C. I'm sorry.

00:05:15.000 You know what the other division is?

00:05:17.000 It's the powerful and the well-connected versus the middle class versus the everyday warrior.

00:05:24.000 The division in this country is versus the decent and the indecent, as Victor Frankl said in Man's Search for Meaning.

00:05:31.000 And we are living through this time where the question is still an open question.

00:05:35.000 Will the people who are the sovereign in this country do everything they possibly can with this incredible blessing given to us by God to fight back and win against the elites that want to ruin it?

00:05:51.000 Now, some people say, oh, you know, these elites mean very well.

00:05:54.000 I think this is an important thing to talk about.

00:05:56.000 Talk about for a second.

00:05:57.000 The elites don't mean well when you have a wide open border and 12,000 people are coming across the border every single day.

00:06:04.000 The elites don't mean well when they go after our children and they castrate our children in the name of medicine.

00:06:11.000 Our elites don't mean well when they put the leader of an opposition political party and try to put him in jail for 700 years.

00:06:18.000 These elites don't mean well.

00:06:20.000 In fact, they hate the United States Constitution.

00:06:23.000 They hate the Declaration.

00:06:25.000 And what you represent, your presence here, the largest multi-day event in conservative grassroots history, is a message that will be heard by these people.

00:06:36.000 Because what they have been, the reason they've been able to do what they have done is that we have allowed them to do this.

00:06:45.000 We've allowed them, and we were too busy doing things that were very important, running our churches, running our business, growing our families.

00:06:51.000 And 11 years ago, when Turning Point USA was started, I could not have imagined what God had in store for this organization.

00:07:01.000 And I want to take a second here because, you know, every so often there's some, you know, person from Media Matters that writes some organization, you know, some article about Media Matters.

00:07:13.000 By the way, God bless Elon Musk.

00:07:15.000 I hope he sues Media Matters into oblivion.

00:07:20.000 We'll talk about that in a second.

00:07:22.000 Where they attack Turning Point and they say, oh, you know, Turning Point just does events and all this.

00:07:28.000 By the way, if all Turning Point USA did was this event, that's a pretty amazing thing.

00:07:33.000 Just pulling off this event is no small accomplishment.

00:07:37.000 And by the way, while I'm thinking about it, Elon Musk liberating Twitter will go down as one of the greatest free speech victories in the history of Western civilization.

00:07:48.000 You know how awesome it is?

00:07:50.000 Where we can log onto Twitter and we could say, yeah, you know, Dylan Mulvaney, he's a man. 0.89

00:07:57.000 Rachel Levine is a man and kind of like a creepy pervert, honestly.

00:08:02.000 That January 6th is probably an inside job. 0.64

00:08:04.000 It's more of a Fed surrection than anything else.

00:08:06.000 And that 99% of people on January 6th did nothing wrong.

00:08:10.000 That we can go on Twitter and say that, you know, George Floyd wasn't a hero and Derek Chauvin was targeted in a Soviet-style trial that was anti-American and un-American.

00:08:23.000 One of the reasons why the powerful are getting nervous is because we can finally speak again online.

00:08:30.000 One of the main victories of 2023 is that we could say, that's BS.

00:08:35.000 No, you're not going to trans our kids. 1.00

00:08:37.000 You're not going to groom our children.

00:08:40.000 You're not going to then call us these terrible, awful names when in reality, you're actually the things that you're calling us.

00:08:47.000 You see, as our ability to speak and challenge authority and challenge power grows, the likelihood of our victory increases.

00:08:58.000 You see, 11 years ago, when we started Turning Point USA, we started in a very, very humble way.

00:09:04.000 And I want to take a step back because I want all of you to know the incredible journey that we have been on at Turning Point USA.

00:09:11.000 And I want to tell you the Turning Point story.

00:09:13.000 That's one of the first pictures there.

00:09:15.000 Bill Montgomery, may he rest in peace.

00:09:17.000 That was at the Republican National Convention in 2012.

00:09:20.000 Little did I know that God had in store that we were going to have an event nearly as big as the RNC 11 years later.

00:09:31.000 It all started in this office in Lamont, Illinois.

00:09:35.000 Who's from Illinois?

00:09:36.000 Anybody?

00:09:38.000 You know what's great about being from Illinois?

00:09:40.000 There's term limits in Illinois.

00:09:42.000 One term in office, one term in jail.

00:09:46.000 You know, we have cell numbers for our governors.

00:09:50.000 Different, not cell numbers.

00:09:54.000 My grandmother passed away recently, lifelong Republican.

00:09:57.000 She's been voting Democrat ever since.

00:09:59.000 And so, all right.

00:10:01.000 See, that's what's so great about Twitter being liberated.

00:10:03.000 I can say all these things.

00:10:04.000 Thank you, Milon Musk.

00:10:05.000 Thank you.

00:10:06.000 If I was streaming on YouTube right now, I'd be completely gone.

00:10:09.000 It all started in this office, and I love it.

00:10:12.000 Apple, HP, Microsoft, and Turning Point USA all started in a garage.

00:10:18.000 And so that garage right there in Lamont, Illinois, was where this started.

00:10:23.000 What started as an idea, what started as a movement of one of two with no money, no connections, and no idea what I was doing, is now a movement on 1,800 high school and college chapters across the country with 600,000 student activists, 300,000 grassroots donors.

00:10:49.000 Only in America is a story like Turning Point USA possible.

00:10:54.000 Only in America is it possible to say, you know what, I don't like the way the country is going and to do something about it.

00:11:01.000 And throughout the years, you know, people have said, oh, you know, Turning Point, you guys, you're too loud.

00:11:06.000 Why don't you just sit down and obey?

00:11:10.000 I don't know about you, but I think the people that have been running the conservative movement the last couple decades to just go be liberals because that's what they actually are and leave the conservative movement and allow us real conservatives to be in charge.

00:11:25.000 And the numbers speak for themselves.

00:11:29.000 A recent poll shows that high school boys are the most conservative that they have been in 50 years.

00:11:37.000 50 years.

00:11:40.000 Now, I want to show you because to kind of give you an idea and a picture of what we're up against, I go to these college campuses and I just, you know, I set up a table and I talk to these kids and I listen and some of them are pretty fired up.

00:11:56.000 And I think this picture is a perfect picture of a left-wing male.

00:12:00.000 You know, they want a guy with a lisp zipping around on a lime scooter with a fanny pack, carrying his birth control, supporting his wife's career while he works as a supportive stay-at-home house husband.

00:12:12.000 He has a playlist that is exclusively Taylor Swift.

00:12:18.000 And their idea of strength is this beta male's girlfriend opening a pickle jar just for him.

00:12:24.000 At Turning Point USA, we resoundingly reject this.

00:12:29.000 We believe in strong, alpha, godly, high-T, high-achieving, confident, well-armed, and disruptive men are the hope, not the problem, in America.

00:12:43.000 Now, I got to show you this video.

00:12:45.000 It's unbelievable.

00:12:47.000 This is the left-wing beta male in one picture. 0.94

00:12:51.000 By the way, I sit down, this is at University of Arizona, and I'm just getting comfortable, and this lunatic comes up.

00:12:58.000 And he perfectly, by the way, describes what I'm just saying, right?

00:13:02.000 He's got to get his vitamin D level up.

00:13:03.000 Come on, man.

00:13:04.000 You live in Arizona.

00:13:05.000 Like, come on.

00:13:07.000 This is what our Turning Point USA students and warriors have to deal with on a daily basis.

00:13:14.000 Watch this. 0.99

00:13:16.000 You, I hate you. 1.00

00:13:16.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:13:17.000 Would you like to have a substantive conversation?

00:13:19.000 A substantive?

00:13:20.000 Yeah.

00:13:23.000 Would you like to have a conversation?

00:13:25.000 Sure, absolutely.

00:13:26.000 Yeah, yeah.

00:13:28.000 I don't like you.

00:13:29.000 I think you spread hate. 0.96

00:13:30.000 I think you spread bigotry. 1.00

00:13:31.000 I think you piss a lot of people off because I just, I mean, you're just an awful person. 0.98

00:13:36.000 I don't think you really want to debate because you're just here to piss people off and energize your crowd of racists. 0.99

00:13:41.000 What have I ever said that's racist?

00:13:43.000 Oh, can you name one thing?

00:13:46.000 Can I support Charlie?

00:13:47.000 Can you name a second thing?

00:13:48.000 Can you say a second thing I've ever said that's racist?

00:13:50.000 I think you're just trying to play a game.

00:13:52.000 And I think this is obviously going to be you.

00:13:53.000 What have I ever said that's racist? 1.00

00:13:54.000 I just want to fucking hate you. 1.00

00:13:56.000 You're awful. 1.00

00:13:56.000 Get off my camera. 1.00

00:13:57.000 When have I ever said anything that's hateful?

00:14:00.000 Have a nice day.

00:14:03.000 He can't say anything I've ever said that's racist because I've never said anything that's racist.

00:14:08.000 That is the American left in one picture, everybody. 0.89

00:14:10.000 Lots of rage and no wisdom. 1.00

00:14:19.000 No country was ever saved by a male feminist. 1.00

00:14:26.000 Countless countries, though, were lost by weak beta males.

00:14:32.000 And at Turning Point USA, not only do we celebrate masculinity, we believe that masculinity is the answer to so many of our problems in this country.

00:14:43.000 And let's put that poll up again.

00:14:46.000 The most conservative that young boys have been in 50 years.

00:14:50.000 There's a lot of negative news out there, everybody.

00:14:52.000 But young boys and young men are looking for something to connect to that gives them purpose, that says it's okay to be a man, that says there's not unlimited genders.

00:15:02.000 And by the way, just so we're clear, I got this from Billboard Chris.

00:15:05.000 There are no genders, two sexes, and unlimited personalities. 0.54

00:15:10.000 That's the way that we should all answer it.

00:15:12.000 Unlimited personalities. 1.00

00:15:14.000 Now you might say, but Charlie, the women are so liberal. 1.00

00:15:17.000 Now, there's a lot of reasons for this, and I don't mean to dwell on it. 1.00

00:15:20.000 But you know what?

00:15:20.000 At Turning Point USA, we're doing something about it.

00:15:23.000 Right there, the largest young women's leadership summit, 2,500 young conservative women.

00:15:34.000 I want to show you that in America, you could start small and dream big and make a difference.

00:15:40.000 I am sick of the negativity.

00:15:42.000 This was our first ever Christmas event.

00:15:46.000 100 students eight years ago.

00:15:49.000 Eight years ago, we had 100 kids at a holiday in Express in West Palm Beach, Florida.

00:15:54.000 People laughed at Turning Point USA.

00:15:57.000 They made fun of Turning Point USA.

00:15:59.000 They said, Turning Point USA is never going to be anything.

00:16:02.000 You know, Charlie, just, you're a waste of time.

00:16:05.000 And you know what we did?

00:16:06.000 We kept our head down and we built and we outworked the competition.

00:16:10.000 And what started with 100 kids, look around everybody, is now the largest event in the entire conservative movement.

00:16:18.000 You can see this, the whole room.

00:16:19.000 It's just unbelievable.

00:16:23.000 Now I know many of you are saying, but you know, I have to send my kid to college.

00:16:28.000 I have to send my kid to college.

00:16:29.000 One of the ways that we're reaching students is online.

00:16:32.000 You see here, we are reaching millions and millions of young people every single day.

00:16:36.000 Joe Bob, Alex Clark, Savannah Hernandez.

00:16:39.000 We have an army of online influencers.

00:16:42.000 Our Turning Point USA digital team, it's the most dominant year online.

00:16:46.000 Don't take my word for it.

00:16:47.000 What does the New York Times say writing in third person?

00:16:49.000 Mr. Kirk's social media posts garnered far more engagements, a combination of likes, retweets, comments, and other interactions than those of mainstream news organizations like the New York Times and CNN.

00:16:59.000 Thank you, New York Times, for telling the world that we're bigger than the New York Times.

00:17:05.000 Now you might say, but Charlie, what exactly is going viral?

00:17:10.000 What is the content that is being seen?

00:17:14.000 So in another episode of Charlie Goes to an Arizona taxpayer fund campus, I go to Northern Arizona University, and some lunatic.

00:17:24.000 Charlie, you're scripting these things.

00:17:26.000 Trust me, I don't script any of this stuff.

00:17:27.000 I don't need to script it.

00:17:28.000 And, you know, there was a whole mob there.

00:17:30.000 They were screaming at us.

00:17:31.000 And there were some very, very angry women that were screaming at me.

00:17:34.000 And I said, okay, you know, Matt Walsh has the famous movie, and God bless Matt Walsh for it.

00:17:39.000 What is a woman, right? 0.98

00:17:40.000 So I said, why don't I ask this group of women, what is a woman? 1.00

00:17:51.000 What is a woman? 1.00

00:17:53.000 That's a stupid-ass question. 1.00

00:17:56.000 What is a woman? 1.00

00:17:57.000 It's not a trick question. 1.00

00:17:59.000 What is a woman? 0.98

00:18:02.000 You can't answer the question with the question. 1.00

00:18:05.000 Yeah, define the woman without saying woman. 0.99

00:18:12.000 You're in college paying for an education. 1.00

00:18:15.000 What is a woman? 1.00

00:18:16.000 How are you talking about media training? 1.00

00:18:19.000 You don't need media training.

00:18:21.000 It's not a trick. 1.00

00:18:22.000 What is a woman?

00:18:26.000 You can't answer the question with the media.

00:18:29.000 The college kids of America going hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt who think it's a trick question when you ask them what a woman is.

00:18:39.000 College is a scam, everybody. 0.73

00:18:41.000 You've got to stop sending your kids to college.

00:18:42.000 I'll tell you what.

00:18:46.000 And we're doing something to solve it at Turning Point USA.

00:18:49.000 Newly launched Turning Point Academy.

00:18:50.000 You guys should go by the booth and say hello.

00:18:53.000 Leading an education revolution for homeschool moms and parents all across the country.

00:18:59.000 Turning Point Academy is leading the charge in curriculum development and teaching the teachers.

00:19:04.000 In addition, at Turning Point USA, in addition to our high school program and our college program and student body presidents and our massive events, we recently launched something very near and dear to my heart.

00:19:17.000 We are in a spiritual war, everybody, that is beyond just the material that we are seeing.

00:19:24.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade in the suburbs of Chicago at Christian Heritage Academy.

00:19:28.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.

00:19:31.000 And I encourage you to do the same, making Jesus Christ the chairman of the board of your life.

00:19:41.000 I started growing Turning Point USA and the Lord kept on blessing Turning Point.

00:19:45.000 And I just, you know, would speak at a group here or there and people say, oh, you ever spoke at a church?

00:19:50.000 Oh, not really.

00:19:51.000 And then COVID happened.

00:19:52.000 And I made, without a doubt, the worst prediction in the history of American podcasting.

00:19:59.000 I look right in the camera on the Charlie Kirk show and I say, you know, all these lockdowns and all these orders to tell people to stay at home, they're not going to last.

00:20:09.000 The American church is going to lead the resistance, is going to fight back against these lockdowns because the church loves liberty. 0.79

00:20:19.000 And that was one of the dumbest things I have ever said on the Charlie Kirk show.

00:20:23.000 I was shocked when the bride of Christ, the church, shuddered in fear when they took Easter and Pentecost from us. 0.97

00:20:32.000 When we saw the faithful stay at home, when we needed a revival more than ever, when suicides were going up, when alcoholism was going up, when drug addiction was going up, the church stayed in coward and fear.

00:20:45.000 And I looked around and I said, this is a time when the church should be defying these tyrants and these government leaders.

00:20:51.000 They called strip clubs essential and they called marijuana dispensaries essential and they called convenience stores essential.

00:20:58.000 And yet they said the church was non-essential and so many pastors took it.

00:21:04.000 And then in the summer of 2020 during Floyd Apalooza, we saw churches parroting a lie from the pit of hell when they said that America was systemically racist and that you are a racist person because of the color of your skin.

00:21:19.000 And I looked around and I said, why is the church peddling this?

00:21:21.000 And I took a step back.

00:21:22.000 I said, ah, the Marxists have took over the FBI.

00:21:26.000 They have took over our colleges.

00:21:28.000 And they're trying to take over the church next.

00:21:32.000 And out of that, we launched TPUSA Faith.

00:21:36.000 The mission statement of TPUSA Faith is very simple.

00:21:40.000 We want to kick wokeism out of the American church as quickly as possible as the heresy that it is. 0.99

00:21:54.000 And we got to work.

00:21:55.000 We are organizing pastors across the country.

00:21:57.000 And some people say, but Charlie, you know, stop being political.

00:22:01.000 Excuse me.

00:22:02.000 This is biblical.

00:22:04.000 Esther, Mordecai, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, all were counselors to the king.

00:22:11.000 Jeremiah 29, 7, seek the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.

00:22:19.000 It is biblical to defy tyrants.

00:22:21.000 The midwives to the Hebrews in Exodus 1 were told to slaughter the newly born children, and they disobeyed Pharaoh, which pleased God.

00:22:31.000 Disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.

00:22:35.000 Disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.

00:22:39.000 Because liberty, liberty is not man's idea.

00:22:46.000 It is God's idea.

00:22:48.000 And we are at a period of time, everybody, where the American church, that most American churches are not speaking out on these issues.

00:22:56.000 They say, you know, well, I just do the gospel.

00:22:59.000 So do we.

00:23:00.000 Do you think that the gospel includes allowing the church to be called non-essential and to stay shuttered and afraid?

00:23:08.000 Too many pastors have a much bigger wardrobe budget than a book budget.

00:23:14.000 Too many pastors are the cool kids giving a TED Talk in a rock concert that is indecipherable from the world and not preaching the word.

00:23:22.000 You might say, but Charlie, I don't like this, you know, religion stuff.

00:23:25.000 Well, get over it because this country was founded by courageous, Bible-believing Christians.

00:23:35.000 55 out of 56 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were Bible-believing church-attending Christians.

00:23:42.000 Nine out of 13 of the states at the American founding required you to be a Protestant Christian at the founding.

00:23:48.000 In the Declaration of Independence, God is mentioned four times: laws of nature and nature is God.

00:23:52.000 We appeal to a supreme judge of the universe.

00:23:55.000 There has been revival after revival.

00:23:57.000 Billy Graham led a revival to this country, and he also said that communism is Satan's religion.

00:24:03.000 One of the reasons we are seeing the issues we're seeing in America today is because the church has been silent and the secular Marxists are taking over the nation.

00:24:12.000 TPSA Faith, on a daily basis, seeks to wake up the church with courage and clarity and conviction to lead a movement to push back against the secular totalitarians in America.

00:24:31.000 And we are just getting started.

00:24:34.000 You know, I love the quote from George Patton: Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

00:24:43.000 When I first met Candace Owens, I said, I'm getting out of the way, and I will follow you.

00:24:55.000 She's a superstar.

00:24:57.000 Candace Owens is without a doubt one of the most important, impactful voices in the conservative movement.

00:25:04.000 Candace Owens started Blexit, and Blexit is now a part of Turning Point USA.

00:25:10.000 Blexit is the largest black outreach program in the conservative movement, going into the inner cities and reaching out for conservative values on a daily basis.

00:25:25.000 And I believe many of you share my disgust for how the American left has been dominating the black community over the last 50 or 60 years.

00:25:37.000 We need to help assist Blexit in leading an exodus for the black community away from the Marxists and the left towards conservative values and principles and away from this nonsense that has been plaguing our cities over the last 40 or 50 years. 1.00

00:25:54.000 This is Candace's vision, Brandon's vision, and we're honored to carry it forward at Turning Point USA.

00:26:00.000 Now, we also bring Candace Owens on campus tours.

00:26:04.000 Now, we have a big problem at Turning Point USA.

00:26:06.000 We can't find rooms big enough of the campus tour stops we're doing to fit all the students that want to attend our campus tours.

00:26:15.000 We can't find rooms big enough.

00:26:19.000 I love this short video clip. 1.00

00:26:21.000 Don't mess with pregnant Candace Owens. 1.00

00:26:25.000 Hello.

00:26:26.000 What do you have to say to the trans students on this campus who actively feel victimized by your presence here today?

00:26:32.000 Life's tough.

00:26:33.000 Get a helmet, man.

00:26:34.000 I'm too pregnant for this. 1.00

00:26:36.000 Next question. 1.00

00:26:40.000 Get out of there.

00:26:44.000 You know, some people say, oh, that's not very tolerant.

00:26:47.000 Good.

00:26:49.000 I think we've tolerated enough nonsense over the last decade, don't you?

00:26:56.000 By the way, I'm kind of on the TPUSA faith thing.

00:27:00.000 You know, some guy goes and he slays Satan in the Iowa State Capitol.

00:27:05.000 And, you know, they say, oh, you know, you have to be tolerant.

00:27:09.000 I'm sorry.

00:27:10.000 I'm not going to be tolerant of Satan.

00:27:11.000 That's where I draw the line.

00:27:12.000 Where do you draw a line?

00:27:12.000 Satan, actually.

00:27:13.000 That's where I draw the line.

00:27:15.000 Satan, I'm not going to tolerate actually Satan being in a state capitol.

00:27:18.000 I'm sorry.

00:27:19.000 That guy's a hero for what he did, for decapitating Satan in a state capitol.

00:27:26.000 And they say, oh, well, what about religious liberty?

00:27:28.000 Yeah, you know, I'm sure that when James Madison wrote the U.S. Constitution, he was like, you know what?

00:27:34.000 One day, I hope in many generations, Satanists can also have religious liberty too. 0.99

00:27:42.000 That is just a small picture, everybody, of the amazing work we are doing at Turning Point USA.

00:27:47.000 High school chapters, college chapters dominating online.

00:27:51.000 Blexit, TPUSA Faith, our student body presidency project, and everything that we're doing at Turning Point USA, including this event, Young Women's Leadership Summit, and our training conferences and our campus tours, is making a sizable and a meaningful difference.

00:28:05.000 But I know many of you are saying, Charlie, all that's great, but what happens if we don't win the next election?

00:28:14.000 Now, a co-sponsor of this event is our sister organization that you're going to hear a lot of throughout the next couple days, Turning Point Action.

00:28:21.000 And Turning Point Action has three very simple goals.

00:28:25.000 Number one, to remake the Republican Party as a grassroots party from the bottom up and kick out the Romneys, the Paul Ryans from the Republican Party once and for all. 0.83

00:28:42.000 Number two, holding our leaders accountable.

00:28:48.000 It is not enough just to win elections.

00:28:51.000 We need Republicans to act like conservatives, not just Republican in name only when they go to Washington, D.C., when they betray their voters.

00:29:05.000 Turning point action is holding our leaders accountable.

00:29:08.000 We have a scorecard.

00:29:09.000 I love this.

00:29:09.000 So we have a scorecard.

00:29:10.000 And by the way, we downgraded the NDAA, the National Defense Authorization Act.

00:29:15.000 They never should have voted for it.

00:29:16.000 It's a terrible bill.

00:29:18.000 And I've been getting calls from people.

00:29:19.000 They're very angry at Turning Point Action.

00:29:21.000 They say, why are you downgrading us?

00:29:23.000 You know, we're doing.

00:29:24.000 I said, listen, you want a better score?

00:29:26.000 Vote better.

00:29:27.000 I don't know what to tell you, okay?

00:29:28.000 You don't get a special hall pass for betraying your voters because we have a friendship.

00:29:34.000 Everybody, I don't know about you, but I've cut enough excuses for these Republicans over the last decade.

00:29:39.000 I've seen enough.

00:29:41.000 These Republicans need to feel the heat of the grassroots.

00:29:45.000 And do you want to know the good news, everybody?

00:29:47.000 The good news is that you get it, but your leaders don't.

00:29:53.000 You want results.

00:29:56.000 You want a border more than you want Zelensky to get more billions of dollars.

00:30:07.000 You are repulsed when you see that go-go dancer show up with the turtle and Chuck Yuchumer and demand more of your taxpayer dollars while we are being invaded on a daily basis.

00:30:20.000 I find it insulting that Senate Republicans have been able to get $200 billion to Ukraine while we cannot secure the southern border.

00:30:31.000 You want an end to the medical child mutilation of our children that is called trans surgery. 0.98

00:30:37.000 Period.

00:30:40.000 You do not want to hear a Republican Party constantly try and protect the interests and the feelings of Democrats.

00:30:53.000 You don't need Mitt Romney going on the Sunday shows saying, well, you know, I haven't seen evidence of impeachment.

00:30:58.000 Excuse me, Willard Mitt Romney.

00:31:00.000 I've seen evidence of impeachment before he was president. 0.97

00:31:03.000 Joe Biden is a traitor to the United States, period. 0.99

00:31:07.000 He is a traitor to the United States. 1.00

00:31:14.000 You have worked your tail off. 0.99

00:31:17.000 You've raised your kids.

00:31:18.000 You've built businesses.

00:31:19.000 You've paid your taxes.

00:31:21.000 You deserve a better Republican Party.

00:31:24.000 And that's what Turning Point Action is seeking to do.

00:31:26.000 And this wins me no favors.

00:31:28.000 In fact, some people said, Charlie, are you going to bring it up?

00:31:30.000 And I said, I don't know.

00:31:31.000 It depends.

00:31:32.000 You know, you got to let the vibes feel.

00:31:33.000 Okay, here we go. 0.95

00:31:34.000 Ronna Mick Romney has to resign as chair of the RNC. 1.00

00:31:37.000 She has got to resign.

00:31:39.000 Do you agree? 0.93

00:31:43.000 She's got to go.

00:31:48.000 Well, there you go.

00:31:50.000 Oh, that's nice.

00:31:52.000 I'm sick of being nice.

00:31:54.000 I want to win.

00:32:01.000 Turning point action is playing offense.

00:32:03.000 You know, somebody said, Charlie, you guys are awfully aggressive at turning point action.

00:32:07.000 Yeah.

00:32:10.000 About time.

00:32:11.000 It's about time we deploy the MAGA movement to take over state central committee meetings.

00:32:20.000 We're not here to make friends.

00:32:21.000 We don't have a Washington, D.C. office.

00:32:23.000 I don't care about cocktail parties.

00:32:25.000 I don't care about this.

00:32:26.000 Because you know what gives me strength?

00:32:29.000 The hundreds of thousands of you that email us and say, Charlie, keep going.

00:32:34.000 That watch us on Real America's Voice and listen to us on radio.

00:32:37.000 And you say, Charlie, don't give an inch.

00:32:40.000 You see, the thing that the DC groups don't understand is that there's a new paradigm shift.

00:32:45.000 The game has changed.

00:32:47.000 All of a sudden, the ascendant organizations and voices can't be controlled by the oligarchs.

00:32:54.000 The people that all of a sudden, you have Twitter that is liberated.

00:32:58.000 You have Tucker that is completely unleashed.

00:33:00.000 And I can't wait to hear from Tucker, by the way.

00:33:07.000 And they say, well, you know, maybe we can keep on having, you know, politics as usual.

00:33:12.000 You are living through the change.

00:33:14.000 You are living through the change.

00:33:16.000 Where all of a sudden Senate Republicans are very afraid.

00:33:18.000 They say, oh my goodness.

00:33:20.000 And why is Nikki Haley not doing better in the polls? 0.78

00:33:23.000 And you know why she's not doing better? 1.00

00:33:24.000 And they say, oh, it must be because of sexism. 1.00

00:33:26.000 No, it's because of her awful ideas. 0.98

00:33:28.000 That's why, okay? 0.99

00:33:29.000 It's because her ideals are awful. 0.99

00:33:35.000 Turning point action. 1.00

00:33:36.000 Build a grassroots GOP.

00:33:38.000 Give you a voice.

00:33:40.000 Hold elected leaders accountable through our scorecard.

00:33:43.000 And we're going to do everything we can to help win in 2024.

00:33:50.000 Now, we are going to have breakouts.

00:33:53.000 We are going to have trainings.

00:33:55.000 We are going to have so much here at AmericaFest.

00:33:58.000 I want you to soak it all in.

00:34:00.000 I want you to be a sponge.

00:34:02.000 One of my favorite sayings in the Bible, in Hebrew, it is hynani.

00:34:09.000 Here I am.

00:34:10.000 It means, Lord, use me.

00:34:14.000 These next couple of days, I want you to have a posture of, Lord, use me.

00:34:20.000 What are my marching orders?

00:34:22.000 Abraham at the binding of Isaac.

00:34:25.000 He said, Lord, here I am.

00:34:28.000 Moses at the burning bush.

00:34:30.000 Lord, here I am.

00:34:32.000 Samuel, Isaiah, here I am.

00:34:35.000 It means, give me the orders.

00:34:38.000 And God will speak to so many of you these next couple of days.

00:34:41.000 It might be running for office.

00:34:43.000 It might be homeschooling your kids.

00:34:46.000 It might be starting a turning point USA chapter.

00:34:49.000 It might be getting involved in the most important election of my lifetime and maybe the civilization's life.

00:34:58.000 And what turning point action is going to do, and we've been very clear about this, is we're targeting an Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia to chase ballots, to get low-propensity voters out, to engage in election month so that we do everything we possibly can to prevent the Democrats from steamrolling us again.

00:35:17.000 Now, some people say, but Charlie, what about these other things?

00:35:19.000 We're going to do our part.

00:35:21.000 We act out of obedience, not out of the outcome.

00:35:24.000 We are going to scrap for every inch.

00:35:26.000 If we do our part, we need to pray that God will do his part.

00:35:29.000 This is a short video that shows the plans that we have to chase ballots in Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia.

00:35:35.000 We are doing the work that I wish the Republican establishment would do, but turning point action is stepping up.

00:35:41.000 Turning point action is growing like wild.

00:35:43.000 And tomorrow, you're going to hear from Steve Benn and you're going to hear from Bivek Ramaswamy.

00:35:47.000 You are going to hear from the biggest voices in the political conservative movement.

00:35:52.000 But these next couple of days are what you make of it.

00:35:56.000 Now, a couple of the things that I want to make sure I mention.

00:35:58.000 If you're a young person here and you say, boy, you know, what do I want to do for my life?

00:36:03.000 Honestly, you should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.

00:36:08.000 Period.

00:36:09.000 Reject the siren song of modernity.

00:36:14.000 Now, some parents are probably, ooh, I don't like that.

00:36:17.000 You know, they should basically, you know, they should go get a job first.

00:36:20.000 You're wrong.

00:36:21.000 I'm sorry.

00:36:22.000 Honestly.

00:36:23.000 We are on the verge of a population collapse in this country.

00:36:26.000 Every day, I receive emails from young women filled with regret in their late 30s.

00:36:32.000 And they say, Charlie, I'm sobbing as I write this email because what you talk about on the show is exactly right.

00:36:37.000 I have a couple college degrees.

00:36:39.000 I have a great job and almost no debt.

00:36:41.000 But I was told, you know, to forego having a family, but now I'm looking around and I have a lot of cats and no kids.

00:36:52.000 Honestly, where did we go wrong where we think that your bank account balance means more than passing down to the next generation?

00:37:04.000 Where did we go wrong, everybody?

00:37:07.000 So, I hope you meet your future soulmate as I met Erica, the best decision I ever made in my life and the greatest blessing.

00:37:16.000 And I hope you get married and have lots and lots of kids.

00:37:20.000 Now, there's other people that are already married and have kids.

00:37:23.000 You say, Charlie, what are my marching orders?

00:37:25.000 Have that posture of here.

00:37:26.000 I am.

00:37:27.000 Throughout the next couple of days, there will be unlimited opportunities, chances to get hired, chances to get to work, chances to hear from the biggest speakers in the movement, chances to be able to network and to have these life-changing conversations.

00:37:40.000 We're going to be doing our show off, you know, a media row here and also for members only.

00:37:45.000 We're going to be interviewing Tucker and Glenn Beck and all of that.

00:37:47.000 Soak it all in.

00:37:49.000 We have people that have traveled from every corner to say, you know, I want to be used.

00:37:54.000 And I hope that the story of Turning Point USA, again, we started with no money, no connections, and no idea what I was doing, resonates with some of you because to despair is a sin.

00:38:05.000 Let me say that again.

00:38:06.000 To despair is a sin.

00:38:09.000 And some people say, oh, Charlie, you know, it's just too, it's too hard.

00:38:12.000 It's too overwhelming.

00:38:14.000 It's too dark.

00:38:14.000 Snap out of it.

00:38:15.000 You still live in the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.

00:38:19.000 There is still so much to be hopeful and to be thankful for.

00:38:22.000 And we have agency.

00:38:24.000 The globalists are worried that you are waking up.

00:38:28.000 They are worried that they are going to be held accountable. 0.90

00:38:30.000 They're worried that their fraud and their nonsense is finally being exposed.

00:38:34.000 And you are at the central nerve of all of that.

00:38:39.000 Ask God how to use you.

00:38:41.000 Find a place to plug in.

00:38:43.000 I am thankful for you.

00:38:44.000 I'm thankful to our 300,000 people that donate financially to Turning Point USA.

00:38:49.000 I'm thankful to the pastors that are speaking out boldly despite the cost.

00:38:53.000 I'm thankful to the homeschool parents that have taken that leap of faith.

00:38:57.000 I am thankful to the amazing amount of you that say, you know what, I'm going to go run and become a precinct committeeman.

00:39:03.000 I'm going to run and hold my elected leaders accountable.

00:39:06.000 I'm thankful for those of you that came here and you maxed out your credit cards and you went into your savings account because you love your country so much that just sitting idly by and buying pillows, promo code Kirk, is not enough to save the country.

00:39:20.000 Again, mypillow.com, promo code Kirk.

00:39:24.000 I love Mike Lindell.

00:39:25.000 He'll be here.

00:39:26.000 I don't know when he's going to be here.

00:39:27.000 He's great.

00:39:29.000 And that is the change that we want to make at Turning Point.

00:39:34.000 We want to change the attitude.

00:39:36.000 Instead of watching TV and say, boy, I hope things get better.

00:39:39.000 Instead, it's, use me any way you can.

00:39:42.000 I am willing.

00:39:43.000 Here I am.

00:39:45.000 What a blessing from God that we get to be here in this state during this time.

00:39:50.000 People ask all the time, Charlie, do you think we're going to win?

00:39:52.000 Do you think we're going to win in 2024?

00:39:55.000 And I answer it all the same time because if I said, oh, yeah, yeah, we're going to win, then you would go home and do nothing because you say, oh, you know, Charlie said, we're going to win.

00:40:02.000 If I said, no, we're going to lose, you would go home and do nothing because, oh, Charlie's going to lose.

00:40:06.000 Here's my answer, is that it's wholly dependent on what we do.

00:40:11.000 It is completely dependent on how we act.

00:40:15.000 What they fear is a grassroots, decentralized people-first movement.

00:40:21.000 This is not supposed to be happening where you are right now.

00:40:25.000 13,000 people in Maricopa County right before Christmas gathering and hearing from top speakers, being filled with energy and enthusiasm and marching orders and dispensing all across the country to go take back communities and take back school boards and these little micro sources of light against this overwhelming darkness.

00:40:45.000 This is not supposed to happen.

00:40:46.000 And you guys can make it happen these next couple of days.

00:40:50.000 I am thankful for you.

00:40:51.000 I can't wait to meet so many of you.

00:40:52.000 We're going to be doing our shows.

00:40:54.000 I can't wait to see what God does these next couple of days.

00:40:58.000 And I can't wait to see how this whole story plays out.

00:41:03.000 Because honestly, we could lose the whole country and have fun while doing it.

00:41:06.000 People say, oh, Charlie, you know, we're going to win in the end.

00:41:08.000 Okay, we win in the ultimate and Jesus is coming back.

00:41:10.000 I totally agree.

00:41:11.000 But you know what?

00:41:15.000 I do like having a little uncertainty.

00:41:19.000 The stakes are high.

00:41:21.000 We have only begun to fight.

00:41:25.000 We are just beginning to wake up.

00:41:27.000 We are just beginning to scrap, to hustle.

00:41:30.000 You know, people criticize Turning Point for years.

00:41:33.000 Oh, you guys are always pushing boundaries.

00:41:35.000 Yeah, we have outworked the competition.

00:41:36.000 That's right.

00:41:38.000 I traveled 3,000 days over the last decade.

00:41:40.000 I outworked you.

00:41:41.000 That's right.

00:41:42.000 Because we had a vision, because we love the country.

00:41:45.000 Push yourself harder.

00:41:46.000 Here's my commitment to you.

00:41:47.000 In 2024, it will be the hardest year I have ever worked in my life.

00:41:52.000 And I want you to do the same.

00:41:54.000 Here I am.

00:41:55.000 Lord, use me.
