00:01:23.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:32.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:35.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com.
00:01:44.000 Why is this happening is a question I receive a lot.
00:01:49.000 Why is it that our country is falling apart?
00:01:52.000 I have a different point of view.
00:01:54.000 Yes, we are being infiltrated.
00:01:56.000 Yes, the World Economic Forum is attacking us.
00:01:58.000 Yes, we have been infected by the mind pathogen that is known as wokeism.
00:02:03.000 All of that is true.
00:02:06.000 But I would argue that this is happening because we're allowing it to happen.
00:02:13.000 What's happening in our country, the intentional destruction of America, is largely thanks to our own deliberate inaction.
00:02:23.000 You see, courage is the most important virtue because without courage, there are no other virtues.
00:02:30.000 Moral courage is the most necessary yet absent characteristic in men, George S. Patton would say.
00:02:38.000 Courage is a virtue that allows all the other virtues to exist.
00:02:44.000 And what we have is two separate stories that involve similar incidents that, in my personal opinion, depict the contrast between mass bureaucratic paralysis and mass formation psychosis and the courage of the everyday American.
00:03:05.000 The citizen versus the bureaucrat.
00:03:07.000 The citizen versus the government official.
00:03:11.000 Now, before I go any further, I'm very pro-police, and you should be too.
00:03:16.000 Police officers put their lives on the line every single day.
00:03:19.000 Police officers love their communities, and without police, America would be a profoundly more dangerous country.
00:03:26.000 However, as we have learned in the recent report, what happened in Uvalde is not just unacceptable.
00:03:34.000 It's one of the great moral injustices of modern times.
00:03:41.000 Breaking report: Nearly 400 local, state, and federal officers waited outside Uvalde school as gunmen targeted children.
00:03:49.000 400.
00:03:53.000 There were nearly 400 officers on the scene as the gunmen massacred children and teachers for 73 minutes.
00:03:58.000 There were 149 border patrol agents, 91 state police, 25 Uvalde police, and 16 members of the Uvalde Sheriff's Police, and five members of the school district.
00:04:09.000 400 people that stood and largely did nothing for 73 minutes.
00:04:19.000 Bureaucratic paralysis.
00:04:20.000 It makes me think as if that is the direction the rulers and the elites are getting us closer to.
00:04:28.000 Just to stare at what is going wrong.
00:04:32.000 Well, I know we have to do something, but what do we do?
00:04:36.000 Remember, fear is a reaction, and courage is a decision.
00:04:42.000 You see, the average American, I actually think, is much more courageous than what is being trained and taught to our police officers.
00:04:50.000 We could psychoanalyze why it is that 400 people sat idly by while children were massacred one by one.
00:04:58.000 We could psychoanalyze that, but instead, I want to contrast the cowardice, the unacceptable behavior, the stand-down order to what we have just witnessed in Indiana.
00:05:12.000 Now, this is a story that is going to quickly disappear from the media.
00:05:16.000 This is a story the media does not want you to hear about.
00:05:18.000 This is a story the media is going to be like, okay, let's move on.
00:05:22.000 But the way the media covered this story is extraordinary in addition to what actually happened.
00:05:28.000 In a suburb of Indianapolis yesterday, a gunman goes into the mall with the intent to mass murder.
00:05:35.000 Unfortunately, the gunman killed three people.
00:05:38.000 But an unexpected development occurred.
00:05:41.000 An armed, good Samaritan, 22-year-old young man confronted him and killed him and neutralized the shooter.
00:05:53.000 That average American at the mall in Indianapolis had more courage than those 400 police officers in Uvalde.
00:06:01.000 Yes, he put his life on the line.
00:06:02.000 Yes, he could have died.
00:06:06.000 But he wasn't a police officer.
00:06:08.000 He wasn't a border patrol agent.
00:06:09.000 He wasn't a DHS.
00:06:10.000 He wasn't an FBI officer based on everything we know.
00:06:13.000 He might have been an off-duty police officer.
00:06:15.000 We haven't heard that yet.
00:06:16.000 Very low likelihood.
00:06:17.000 All reports seem as if this is just a normal 22-year-old that came in and saw a guy with a gun.
00:06:22.000 He had a gun and he took care of business.
00:06:26.000 Now, tragically, three people died.
00:06:29.000 But as we have learned, that three people very well could have become 15 or 20 or God forbid 30 people.
00:06:37.000 It could have become one of the worst mass shootings, as we have learned.
00:06:42.000 Play cut 202.
00:06:45.000 IMPD SWAT team members were here just as quick as ours were.
00:06:50.000 It was a very, very fast response.
00:06:52.000 But I'm going to tell you, the real hero of the day is the citizen that was lawfully carrying a firearm in that food court and was able to stop the shooter almost as soon as he began.
00:07:06.000 What can you tell us about him?
00:07:07.000 I'm sure if you want to tell us his name, that'd be great.
00:07:09.000 I can tell you that he's a 22-year-old male from Bartholomew County, and that is all that I can release at this time.
00:07:15.000 A hero in Indiana rose up and stopped this shooting right outside of Indianapolis.
00:07:25.000 A good Samaritan with a gun stopped the shooting.
00:07:31.000 A citizen rose up and took care of business.
00:07:33.000 Whereas in Uvalde, 400 people stood and did nothing.
00:07:40.000 But the Uvalde story shows us it's not about numbers, it's about willingness.
00:07:46.000 One person.
00:07:49.000 And look, this good Samaritan very well could have died.
00:07:51.000 And yes, those Uvalde police officers very well could have died.
00:07:54.000 But you know what's amazing about this armed citizen in Indianapolis is that he didn't sign up for it.
00:08:03.000 He was just carrying a gun, doing his job, not even doing his job, just living his life, lawfully carrying a firearm.
00:08:11.000 And a lunatic goes into the mall to mass murder and he neutralizes that person.
00:08:18.000 Now, the media is not going to cover this at all.
00:08:23.000 The front page of the New York Times, climate crisis fades as worry for U.S. voters.
00:08:31.000 Culture war with bombs and missiles.
00:08:33.000 Front page of the New York Times.
00:08:36.000 Front page of the New York Times, Mockie Pock, monkeypox.
00:08:40.000 For monkeypox patients, pain is brutal and care is lacking.
00:08:44.000 Front page of the Wall Street Journal.
00:08:47.000 Zelensky removes prosecutor, security chief in shakeup.
00:08:52.000 Wall Street Journal and New York Times isn't talking about how a good Samaritan saved lives.
00:08:57.000 Wouldn't it be proper and appropriate to celebrate the good Samaritan who stopped a mass shooting just as much as we attack the 400 police officers and law enforcement officials that stood and did nothing?
00:09:12.000 You see, this is why I got so fired up with the Uvalde thing, and you did too, is because we are better than this.
00:09:17.000 The average American is actually rather courageous.
00:09:20.000 The average American stormed Normandy Beach.
00:09:23.000 The average American took Iwo Jima.
00:09:25.000 The average American took Flight 93.
00:09:29.000 The average American sprinted into the World Trade Center.
00:09:34.000 The average American did not do what the police officer did in Uvalde, where they sit around waiting for orders.
00:09:38.000 You act with courage.
00:09:41.000 You see, without courage, there is no other virtue.
00:09:47.000 Without courage, you do not have a decent or stable or peaceful or civil society.
00:09:54.000 And we have more and more pictures, more and more images of what's coming out of Uvalde based on this new report of people just kind of sitting around trying to negotiate with the shooter.
00:10:09.000 The guy at the mall, he didn't negotiate.
00:10:13.000 He neutralized the bad guy, and he's a hero.

00:11:33.000 Here's another story before I go further into how the media has covered what happened in Indiana, which is despicable.
00:11:38.000 Indiana man hailed as hero after saving five people, including children from house fire.
00:11:42.000 This is just a couple days ago.
00:11:43.000 Isn't it amazing how the media doesn't cover this?
00:11:46.000 The national media, they're too busy worrying about Ukraine or worrying about gun control or this other story we're going to hit: um, how biological mail Thomas nominated for woman of the year.
00:12:01.000 That's the NCAA.
00:12:03.000 But this Indiana man, this is an amazing story, and this is what America is really made of, not those Uvalde cowards.
00:12:10.000 Nick Bostick of Lafayette was driving by on his way home when he saw flames coming out of a home around 12:30 in the morning.
00:12:19.000 I saw the fire on the balcony, so I slammed on the brakes, pulled in the driveway, ran into the house from the back, and I was hollering, quote, Is anybody there?
00:12:27.000 This random person, Bostik, rushed into the burning home and saw four people.
00:12:34.000 He helped them get to safety right away, but was then told one of the children was still missing.
00:12:40.000 This random Good Samaritan then rushes back into the home, only to be confronted with growing flames and thick black smoke.
00:12:48.000 The smoke came out of nowhere, it was pitch picks black.
00:12:51.000 The heat was excruciating.
00:12:52.000 Bostick was able to locate the child after he heard faint crying.
00:12:57.000 He grabbed the child and jumped out of the second-story window to avoid the flames.
00:13:02.000 I grabbed her and held her snug and ran up those stairs like a running back for the Colts.
00:13:08.000 I jumped out of the window, said Bostik.
00:13:10.000 This is a random guy.
00:13:11.000 Dramatic body camera footage from a police officer shows the moment Bostick emerged from the home with the six-year-old child.
00:13:19.000 Bostick suffered cuts, burns, and blisters on legs and his arm.
00:13:22.000 He was shooted at a hospital after several days.
00:13:24.000 He was treated at a hospital on Wednesday after several days of treatment.
00:13:27.000 Waking up every morning, I have something to remind me of why I'm here, still alive, why God keeps me here.
00:13:32.000 He used me like his instrument that night.
00:13:36.000 All five family members of the house were uninjured.
00:13:39.000 Bostic 25 said he doesn't consider himself the hero.
00:13:42.000 He's just an ordinary person who did what he had to do.
00:13:46.000 Quote, if it were me up there trapped or asleep and there was a fire, I'd be hoping that the guy driving would consider doing the same if they were able to.
00:13:55.000 Lieutenant Scher said, This is Indiana again.
00:13:57.000 Indiana's producing some pretty amazing patriots.
00:14:00.000 Quote, his selfishness during this incident is inspiring, and he's impressed many with his courage, tenacity, steadfastness, and calmness in the face of such perilous danger.
00:14:12.000 And then you contrast that with Uvalde, where they are running from the conflict.
00:14:20.000 In fact, we have new tape now that shows the police officers trying to negotiate with the gunman.
00:14:32.000 Play cut 208.
00:14:34.000 Sir, if you can hear me, please put your firearm down, sir.
00:14:37.000 We don't want anybody else hurt.
00:14:39.000 We got kids in the middle of the house.
00:14:41.000 I know, I know what we're doing.
00:14:42.000 We're trying to get them out.
00:14:43.000 Hey, please come out.
00:14:44.000 Please come out, sir.
00:14:46.000 I don't want to get hurt while 21 kids are systematically killed.
00:14:54.000 400 police officers versus one lunatic gunman.
00:15:01.000 So yesterday, we had a random Good Samaritan stop a mass shooting in Indianapolis.
00:15:10.000 How does the media thank him?
00:15:13.000 Fox 59, and all of you should go to Fox59 News.
00:15:17.000 Make sure I get their website correctly because what I'm about to tell you is so on point with where America is right now.
00:15:26.000 Fox59.com.
00:15:28.000 That's foxnumber59.com.
00:15:30.000 Good Samaritan with a gun stopped Greenwood Park Mall shooting.
00:15:36.000 Comma went against Maul's code of conduct.
00:15:41.000 That's how the media is reporting it.
00:15:43.000 Not, and by the way, they put Good Samaritan in quotes.
00:15:46.000 Oh, good Samaritan with a gun.
00:15:48.000 They cannot bring themselves to the point of covering a story where a good guy with the gun neutralizes a bad guy with the gun.
00:15:58.000 They are not allowed to say that.
00:16:00.000 No, instead, they say, well, he went against the code of conduct.
00:16:02.000 You know who did follow the code of conduct?
00:16:04.000 The Uvalde police officers.
00:16:06.000 Do nothing.
00:16:06.000 That's the code of conduct, I guess.
00:16:08.000 They followed orders.
00:16:10.000 Good Samaritan didn't follow the rules, and thankfully, not as many people died.
00:16:15.000 And the bad guy was neutralized.
00:16:17.000 Good Samaritan with gun stopped Greenwood Park Mall shooting, went against code of conduct according to fox59.com.
00:16:24.000 That's our media.
00:16:25.000 That's how our media treats heroes.
00:16:27.000 He's not a good Samaritan.
00:16:28.000 He's a legitimately courageous hero.
00:16:33.000 You won't see that in any of the articles about him, though, written by the mainstream media.
00:16:37.000 They say, well, he went against the code of conduct.
00:16:40.000 He broke the rules.
00:16:43.000 I want your thoughts.
00:16:44.000 Please email me, freedom at charliekirk.com, your feedback.
00:16:47.000 Do you think there's something deeper to this of bureaucratic government paralysis and the American citizen that still has fight left?
00:16:56.000 Email me, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:17:00.000 Look, there's a must-see movie you got to check out at salemnow.com called Michelle Obama 2024, her real life story and her plan for power.
00:17:10.000 Film director Joel Gilbert, I know Joel, great American, takes a deep dive into the life of Michelle Obama from Chicago to Princeton to Martha's Vineyard.
00:17:18.000 He says Michelle Obama will run for president in 2024 and base her candidacy on a life story that is more racially divisive and nearly as fictitious as that of her husband, Barack Hussein.
00:17:29.000 Check out the stunning new movie on Salem Now, Michelle Obama 2024.
00:17:33.000 Michelle is following the same formula as Barack to become president, a best-selling autobiography, the keynote convention speaker, and a voter registration organization.
00:17:42.000 First, Barack and now Michelle want to transform America.
00:17:46.000 Michelle Obama, 2024, now playing at SalemNow.com.
00:17:50.000 This new movie has stunning, game-changing revelations about Michelle Obama's past.
00:17:54.000 The film director says only the truth can stop her.
00:17:57.000 Michelle Obama, 2024, watch the movie on demand or buy the DVD on salemnow.com.
00:18:06.000 Good Samaritan with a gun stopped Greenwood Park Mall shooting, went against Maul's code of conduct.
00:18:12.000 Why does Fox 59 have to put that in there?
00:18:15.000 Because they have to make it seem as though even though he's a hero who saved lives, he's a rule breaker.
00:18:21.000 You see, instead of writing magnanimously about this shooter, wow, he had the courage to do it.
00:18:29.000 Now, this is why people are less likely to act this way.
00:18:34.000 It's actually a perfect example.
00:18:36.000 Good Samaritan with guns stopped Greenwood Park Mall shooting, went against Ma's code of conduct.
00:18:42.000 I love that framing, went against, against, as if he's a rule breaker.
00:18:47.000 He's someone that is, you should lock him up.
00:18:51.000 He's a criminal.
00:18:53.000 Now, why do they have to put that in there?
00:18:55.000 Because they don't want to celebrate courage because the media themselves are a bunch of very weak, dishonest people that are cowards.
00:19:06.000 Do you think the person who wrote this article for Fox 59 News would go into the mall?
00:19:14.000 I hope you're all understanding this.
00:19:16.000 The way the media covers this, and they rewrote it in the headline, it's still the same online because they're getting such backlash, but it's still the same essence.
00:19:25.000 Yeah, this is the new one.
00:19:27.000 It still is bad.
00:19:28.000 Good Samaritan with gun stopped Greenwood Park Mall shooting.
00:19:33.000 Maul, Maul had policy against weapons.
00:19:36.000 That's how they're changing it.
00:19:40.000 Where are we at as a country where the media and the bureaucracies, as soon as a person does something right, they have to tear that person down?
00:19:48.000 And that goes to show, that's just a deeper cancer in our society of no matter who succeeds, for what reason, we have to try to find something wrong with that person, that organization, that company, and to try to destroy them.
00:20:02.000 It's almost this collective jealousy.
00:20:04.000 Like, oh, a man comes and stops someone from shooting, and they're a good Samaritan, they're a hero.
00:20:13.000 Well, what did the policy say against weapons?
00:20:16.000 I'm glad he broke the rules, and you should be too.
00:20:18.000 In fact, you should think twice about following these stupid mall rules.
00:20:23.000 No gun zone.
00:20:24.000 Well, guess what?
00:20:25.000 The criminal didn't follow the rules.
00:20:26.000 The criminal didn't follow the no-gun zone law.
00:20:30.000 It wasn't even a law, just regulations.
00:20:32.000 And guess what?
00:20:33.000 This person didn't either.
00:20:34.000 22-year-old who's carrying a gun and took him out.
00:20:40.000 Violent crime is on the rise in America.
00:20:42.000 These mass shootings, I don't know if they're going up in general or not.
00:20:45.000 It sure feels like they're going up based on media coverage, but I've learned my lesson not to be tricked by that.
00:20:51.000 It depends how you define a mass shooting.
00:20:54.000 They're definitely going up in places like Chicago and Detroit and gang-related neighborhoods.
00:20:58.000 But I could say this: if you go grocery shopping, if you go anywhere public and it says no gun zone, unless it's a state law and it's just some sort of preference of that department store, I'm going to not follow it and you should neither.
00:21:12.000 Are you kidding me?
00:21:14.000 Who's going to save your life then?
00:21:16.000 You see, this goes to a broader theme that I want to lay into, which is what is the solution?
00:21:21.000 And the solution is very simple: self-sufficiency, self-government.
00:21:26.000 The solution is, no, they're not going to keep you safe.
00:21:31.000 Who in the mall was going to solve that problem where they said, well, we have a policy against weapons.
00:21:35.000 Yeah, guess who didn't follow it?
00:21:37.000 Two people didn't follow it.
00:21:38.000 Thankfully, one of them didn't.
00:21:41.000 The criminal certainly didn't follow, you know, those stupid signs they have.
00:21:44.000 Gun-free zone.
00:21:45.000 Huh, yeah, I feel safe now.
00:21:47.000 I feel less safe when I go into a gun-free zone.
00:21:50.000 Do you?
00:21:53.000 When I go into a gun-free zone, I think, man, only the criminals are going to have guns here.
00:21:59.000 And yet the law-abiding are not supposed to have the firearms.
00:22:03.000 So you walk into the mall and there's a big sign that says a gun-free zone.
00:22:09.000 And you're trying to tell me that the criminal, the active shooter, walks up with his rifle and says, Ah, can't do this today.
00:22:16.000 There's a sticker there.
00:22:19.000 Walks right in, ignores the sticker, and starts killing people.
00:22:23.000 And again, tragically, three people died.
00:22:25.000 But that three could have been 10.
00:22:26.000 It could have been 15.
00:22:27.000 We don't know.
00:22:29.000 But the other person who ignored the sticker was a good person.
00:22:36.000 He was a hero.
00:22:37.000 The media treats him like a rule breaker.
00:22:41.000 The media treats him as if he's the villain when against Maul's code of conduct.
00:22:47.000 Yeah, put him in.
00:22:47.000 Time out.
00:22:48.000 How dare you save lives?
00:22:50.000 Yeah, what does the mall's code of conduct say for mass shooting?
00:22:55.000 You understand how sick and demented and perverse our society is, where an editor at Fox 59 in Indianapolis can get away with something like this?
00:23:04.000 Like, oh, yeah.
00:23:05.000 Yeah, we have this mass shooter and he got neutralized by a citizen.
00:23:12.000 How do we make that citizen the enemy?
00:23:16.000 How do we create some nuance?
00:23:18.000 Oh, how about he was a white supremacist?
00:23:20.000 That's probably coming next.
00:23:22.000 He was a Christian.
00:23:24.000 And he didn't follow the code of conduct.
00:23:26.000 It's all garbage written by these cowards in the media.
00:23:32.000 That when the shots are firing, they would act exactly like the Uvalde police officers.
00:23:36.000 Well, not me, went against the mall's code of conduct.
00:23:42.000 That is a dog whistle to the rest of society saying, you better be careful.
00:23:46.000 If you try to be the hero, you might find yourself against a code of conduct.
00:23:53.000 So the mall's code of conduct is don't stop mass shooters.
00:23:59.000 While police are crediting the man for shooting and killing the suspect, again, this is what's going to read actually from the article.
00:24:07.000 It's so extraordinary.
00:24:08.000 While police, this is the first sentence of the article from Fox 59.
00:24:13.000 A mass shooting is thwarted.
00:24:16.000 A bad guy is killed.
00:24:18.000 A regular citizen stands his ground and saves lives.
00:24:23.000 And how does Fox 59 in Indianapolis cover it?
00:24:27.000 Quote, while police are crediting a man for shooting and killing a suspect, mall policy states he should not have been caring to begin with.
00:24:37.000 That's the first sentence in the article.
00:24:42.000 Greenwood police chief James Eisen confirmed Sunday that the shooter was shot and killed by a man visiting the mall.
00:24:49.000 The Good Samaritan, as police called him, was armed with a handgun.
00:24:54.000 Police say the 22-year-old had a legal gun permit.
00:24:57.000 However, according to mall policy, the media writes, the man should not have been carrying his handgun in the mall in the first place.
00:25:06.000 Last updated in April of 2020, the Simon Property Group, whoever they are, states in their code of conduct that no weapons are allowed at their shopping centers.
00:25:15.000 Group is the owner of the Greenwood Park Mall.
00:25:17.000 Oh, really?
00:25:17.000 Did anyone follow that?
00:25:19.000 Fox 59?
00:25:21.000 The property group had worked with Greenwood Police for several planned security technology updates after recent incidents at the mall, including two incidents where employees were held at gunpoint in the parking lot.
00:25:31.000 These upgrades include license plate readers installed at mall entrances.
00:25:39.000 This is by Nexstar, a bunch of con men.
00:25:42.000 I mean, how dare they write an article like this, suppressing and suffocating the spirit of courage instead of celebrating this person that they could have been making fun of the like, well, despite the mall's code of conduct, thankfully, no, no, thankfully, no, gladly, no, instead, they are writing an article as if the gunman should not have been carrying a gun.
00:26:06.000 They say that in the article.
00:26:08.000 And we wonder why the Uvalde police don't go in.
00:26:11.000 We have an entire culture that celebrates inaction.
00:26:17.000 Despite not following the mall's code of conduct, the article writes, Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers says the man saved lives.
00:26:25.000 Oh, really?
00:26:26.000 Fox 59 owned by Nexstar?
00:26:29.000 He saved lives?
00:26:30.000 You don't say.
00:26:32.000 So who do they reach out to?
00:26:34.000 Who does Fox 59 reach out to?
00:26:36.000 Fox 59 reached out to, not the shooter, the guy that neutralized the shooter, not the victims' families.
00:26:44.000 No, no, no.
00:26:44.000 Fox 59 ends their article by reaching out to the property group about how their policy was not followed.
00:26:59.000 Quote, we reached out to Simon's property Sunday evening for a statement about the shooting.
00:27:04.000 A spokesperson declined to comment, instead referring us to Greenwood Police.
00:27:08.000 I don't know anything about Simon Properties.
00:27:12.000 I know nothing about them.
00:27:15.000 Simon Properties Group, they're publicly traded.
00:27:19.000 American real estate investor, they're a REIT, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
00:27:24.000 Probably typically coward corporate types, publicly traded.
00:27:27.000 Never met them before.
00:27:29.000 Know nothing about them.
00:27:30.000 They own shopping malls.
00:27:32.000 Why they wouldn't say anything about how this is a hero, whatever.
00:27:36.000 Simon is a huge REIT, is what I'm being told, Real Estate Investment Trust.
00:27:41.000 This is a perfect example.
00:27:45.000 Contrast everything that I just told you with what we saw in Uvalde.
00:27:54.000 Play Cut 209, systemic failures in Uvalde.
00:27:57.000 All we needed out of 400 people was one person like the 22-year-old in Indianapolis.
00:28:02.000 Courage versus fear.
00:28:05.000 One person.
00:28:07.000 Play Cut 209.
00:28:08.000 It breaks down the failures into three categories, really.
00:28:12.000 The family of the shooter being unable to recognize warning signs of his behavior and his desire to get guns and acquire an arsenal.
00:28:20.000 A school district that didn't stick to its active shooter protection plan and did not keep doors locked and follow through on school plans.
00:28:28.000 And also, local police that didn't adhere to their active shooter training, which mandates immediate confrontation with the shooter by any and all officers at the scene.
00:28:38.000 We learned today that a total of 376 officers were here at the scene that day.
00:28:44.000 The report criticized the lack of urgency to take down the gunman.
00:28:48.000 Lack of urgency to take down the gunman, but a random everyday citizen, 22-year-old, 22-year-old in Indianapolis, saw a shooter and he could have ran away.
00:28:58.000 The 22-year-old at the mall owned by Simon Properties Group, he could have gone the other direction.
00:29:05.000 22-year-old could have hidden coward.
00:29:09.000 400 local state and federal officers waited outside as the Uvalde school, Uvalde school, as the gunman targeted children.
00:29:18.000 400 people.
00:29:21.000 Let me ask you a question.
00:29:22.000 Would you rather have 400 scared police bureaucrats or one brave citizen?
00:29:29.000 You want to know what to do?
00:29:32.000 You have to reevaluate everything in your life and make sure you are not dependent on the government any longer.
00:29:41.000 I wish I had faith in the Uvalde police.
00:29:45.000 I don't.
00:29:46.000 But there's good news, everybody.
00:29:48.000 If you are empowered, empowered with a gun in your right-hand pocket and maybe ivermectin in your left pocket, they can't control you.
00:29:59.000 You become a threat to the regime when you can feed your family, you can protect your family, you could stave off the Chinese coronavirus.
00:30:10.000 The government is no longer worthy of our trust.
00:30:13.000 Do you think that we should just follow the mall's code of conduct policies?
00:30:17.000 Some of you are saying us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:30:21.000 Like, well, Charlie, you got to follow the rules.
00:30:23.000 The rules are there for a reason.
00:30:25.000 One person I want to say, and I want to make sure I do mention this, Ben said, Charlie, you didn't mention that the Uvalde mother who defied cowardly police to run in and rescue her two children.
00:30:33.000 That's true.
00:30:34.000 Many parents did defy the police because the police were there not to help the children, but create the conditions for the massacre.
00:30:41.000 Now, that might not have been their intent, but that's what happened.
00:30:44.000 Now, look, I do believe that intent matters in front of God.
00:30:48.000 That is a Christian belief.
00:30:50.000 But in front of man, intent is in the gray area.
00:30:54.000 Now, in order to be charged for murder, you must charge intent.
00:30:59.000 But do I think that the police officers wanted kids to die?
00:31:02.000 Of course not.
00:31:03.000 But all we can do is judge them on the result.
00:31:06.000 The result is 21 kids died, period.
00:31:09.000 And what's incredible is that who cares about the intent of the mall hero in Indianapolis?
00:31:15.000 His hero might have been like, whoa, this is my chance to be a hero.
00:31:18.000 It doesn't matter.
00:31:19.000 He did the right thing.
00:31:21.000 And how does the media treat the actual heroes with snarky backlash saying that the mall had a policy against weapons?
00:31:33.000 We have a mass propaganda campaign that wants you to feel disempowered against being self-sufficient.
00:31:42.000 Being self-sufficient is one of the most important things that you can invest in right now.
00:31:46.000 We just talked about preparewithkirk.com.
00:31:48.000 That's one way to do it.
00:31:49.000 Being self-sufficient when it comes to owning firearms.
00:31:53.000 Being self-sufficient into who is educating your kids.
00:31:57.000 And this saddens me, but it should also empower you.
00:32:00.000 It's also a challenge: is that at this period of time, I don't trust my government for anything.
00:32:07.000 I don't trust them to secure the border.
00:32:10.000 I don't trust them to give me factual information about communicable diseases.
00:32:14.000 I don't trust them on mRNA vaccines.
00:32:16.000 I don't trust them on masks.
00:32:18.000 I don't trust them on foreign policy.
00:32:20.000 I don't trust my government when it comes to big spending bills.
00:32:25.000 I don't trust our government to keep me safe or keep kids safe in schools.
00:32:29.000 I don't trust our government with any of this stuff.
00:32:31.000 And you shouldn't either.
00:32:33.000 And what saddens me is that what happened in Uvalde, it wasn't just a federal government thing.
00:32:39.000 Yeah, there was some border patrol there, but I don't trust the local government.
00:32:43.000 And until I start to get evidence to build up my confidence in these entities or these organizations, then I'm going to have to think differently.
00:32:54.000 But this is why the parents' party is so important.
00:32:57.000 You should trust your family.
00:32:59.000 You should trust your instincts.
00:33:01.000 You should also trust your preparedness.
00:33:03.000 Are you physically and mentally prepared for what might happen next?
00:33:08.000 If society starts to unravel, what are you going to do if you're walking through a mall or if you're in church and God forbid a shooter walks to the door?
00:33:17.000 Are you going to hope that the sticker does the work or are you going to be armed to do something about it?
00:33:22.000 What happens if all of a sudden BA.5 comes ravaging through your community?
00:33:26.000 Are you going to look to Anthony Fauci for the next booster shot?
00:33:28.000 Or are you going to learn about interventions that might be able to help you if BA.5 comes into your community?
00:33:36.000 You see, they want you to be scared, fearful, and disempowered.
00:33:39.000 If there's anything we learned in the last couple of years, it's unfortunately the government is not there to help you.
00:33:45.000 I wish it was.
00:33:46.000 I'm cheering for it.
00:33:47.000 In fact, but it's the opposite.
00:33:50.000 But the good news is we still have a little bit of liberty where you can inform yourself and protect yourself.
00:33:55.000 And we should celebrate those heroes like what happened in Indiana.
00:34:03.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:04.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:07.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:34:08.000 God bless.
