00:01:12.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:01:14.000 Here we go.
00:01:15.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:17.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:19.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:22.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:26.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:27.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:28.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:36.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:45.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:48.000 Every once in a while, I find myself talking about this on college campuses.
00:01:52.000 I go to many different universities, and I say something that I never thought was controversial.
00:01:58.000 I say something that I never thought would receive any sort of feedback or blowback.
00:02:03.000 I actually have a shirt that says, there are only two genders.
00:02:06.000 You can get that shirt at charliekirk.com so that you can wear what you believe.
00:02:12.000 However, there's just this new video out there that has gone totally viral.
00:02:16.000 And I love when the left becomes a parody of themselves, because if I was actually trying to create a Monty Python skit or an SNL skit making fun of the Democratic Socialists of America, it would be this very clip.
00:02:27.000 So the Democrat Socialists of America had a gathering of comrades.
00:02:31.000 Now, I'm not just calling them comrades as a pejorative or as an insult.
00:02:35.000 They actually called each other comrades throughout this entire gathering, where there was a certain individual.
00:02:41.000 Now, I don't want to assume this person's gender, right?
00:02:44.000 Because that would be very undemocratic socialist of me.
00:02:47.000 Where this person, now, are we allowed to assume species?
00:02:51.000 Is that okay?
00:02:53.000 Can we assume someone's species?
00:02:55.000 So this homeo sapien, and then I will assume this person's gender.
00:02:59.000 He was getting very upset because the room had too much back chatter.
00:03:05.000 There was too much whispering.
00:03:07.000 He called this sensory overload.
00:03:11.000 So he said, oh, I'm sorry, that's right.
00:03:13.000 I'm assuming the species.
00:03:14.000 I'm assuming the gender.
00:03:15.000 So we assume that he said the following, something along the lines of, I have sensory overload.
00:03:22.000 Can we please stop with all the noise?
00:03:25.000 And if you actually watch the video, you listen to the audio, there's no applause.
00:03:30.000 So the room, they do this thing where they shake their hands because if you applaud, it's not fair to deaf people.
00:03:39.000 No, I'm actually being totally serious, that they don't applaud at these gatherings.
00:03:43.000 So they do the shaking of the hands.
00:03:45.000 How is this not offensive to the blind people?
00:03:47.000 I don't understand.
00:03:48.000 So they have to find something else.
00:03:50.000 So next time they're going to have to do something where they poke each other, they're going to have to jab each other in the rib.
00:03:55.000 You know, they just hit each other, how much they love it.
00:03:57.000 They do this thing with the hands.
00:03:59.000 They're going to make it rain.
00:04:00.000 Actually, if you watch the video, all these people agree by doing the hands thing.
00:04:00.000 I'm not kidding.
00:04:05.000 It's kind of like the old Ricky Bobby thing.
00:04:07.000 I'm not really sure what to do with my hands, Talladega Knights reference.
00:04:10.000 Okay, so, but then this individual gets interrupted by someone who he only assumed to be a man who wants to be a woman and says something along the lines of, Can we use, please not use gendered language?
00:04:25.000 He's very, very triggered.
00:04:26.000 Let's play the sound of this interaction.
00:04:28.000 Again, this is the Democrat Socialists of America, DSA.
00:04:32.000 They're gathering in Atlanta, Georgia.
00:04:36.000 Quick point of personal privilege.
00:04:38.000 Guys, first of all, James Jackson, Sacramento, he, him.
00:04:41.000 I just want to say, can we please keep the chatter to a minimum?
00:04:44.000 I'm one of the people who's very, very prone to sensory overload.
00:04:48.000 There's a lot of whispering and chatter going on.
00:04:49.000 It's making it very difficult for me to focus.
00:04:51.000 Point of personal privilege.
00:04:53.000 Yes.
00:04:53.000 Please do not use gendered language to address everyone.
00:04:59.000 Okay, a lot of material there.
00:05:01.000 So it continues on.
00:05:03.000 I mean, you could watch the clip in the feed of their entire meeting.
00:05:06.000 They call each other comrades.
00:05:08.000 They do all sorts of wonderful, brilliant stuff.
00:05:10.000 For those of you that are listening that are not currently in high school and currently on college campuses, this is actually the norm.
00:05:19.000 This kind of fringe ideology is now becoming mainstream.
00:05:23.000 And this goes back to the thesis that we have at Turning Point USA, tpusa.com, that whatever happens on college campuses will soon happen in corporate boardrooms and inevitably the halls of Congress.
00:05:35.000 So let's kind of dissect a little further the party platform of the Democrat Socialists of America.
00:05:39.000 They say, quote, we call for the end of all anti-gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender, GLBTQ, restrictions in law and the workplace, the repeal of all sodomy laws, and the legalization of same-sex marriage.
00:05:55.000 We call on all schools to adopt policies and procedures to address and prevent student violence and ban discrimination against GLBTQ people throughout the education system.
00:06:05.000 We call for a federal ban on all forms of job discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
00:06:11.000 And finally, we are committed to confronting the heterosexism.
00:06:14.000 That's a new term.
00:06:15.000 I learned so much from the left.
00:06:17.000 I learned how offendive they can be at things that make sense.
00:06:21.000 And so for those of you wondering, the acronym is GLBTQ.
00:06:25.000 I think that means gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer, or questioning queer, questioning queer.
00:06:31.000 Okay, so let me just start with this.
00:06:32.000 I had a phenomenal conversation with a couple of my dear friends who are gay.
00:06:38.000 And they brought up a point to me that I actually never thought of, which is what does being transgender have to do with being gay?
00:06:46.000 And why are they lumped into kind of one bucket?
00:06:49.000 Questioning your gender identity is something completely separate than your own sexual preference in who you want to mate with or who you want to associate with.
00:06:59.000 They're two totally different things.
00:07:01.000 And so these two gay men who are conservative libertarians said they're so sick and tired of being lumped into one bucket.
00:07:09.000 In fact, there is a movement of feminists, and some of these feminists are lesbians.
00:07:14.000 And J.K. Rowling is part of this movement.
00:07:17.000 For those that don't know who J.K. Rowling is, all I can say is Harry Potter, she wrote Harry Potter, one of the most successful authors of all time.
00:07:25.000 She's part of a feminist movement that is pushing back against the growing transgender movement, saying that it's ruining women's sports, so on and so forth.
00:07:33.000 And we're actually going to, in a little bit, dive into actually some of the public policy implications of where all this comes from.
00:07:40.000 So we start kind of making fun of the Democrat Socialists of America platform, and you're going to see how deathly serious this kind of ideology quickly becomes.
00:07:52.000 Whether you're working from home or on your fitness, you want to know what you're listening to is actually what you want to be listening to.
00:07:56.000 Like the Charlie Kirk show, not some person in the background watching the Rachel Maddow show.
00:08:00.000 That would be really bad.
00:08:02.000 Everyone needs a great pair of wireless earbuds.
00:08:04.000 But before you go dropping hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a pair, you need to check out wireless earbuds from Raycon.
00:08:10.000 You already know that Raycon start at about half the price of any other premium wireless earbuds on the market and that they sound just as amazing, just as amazing as other top audio brands you know.
00:08:20.000 Mr. Producer is using his Raycon earbuds right now and he loves them.
00:08:24.000 Their newest model, the Everyday E25 earbuds, are the best ones yet.
00:08:30.000 With six hours of playtime, seamless Bluetooth pairing, more bass and more compact design, it gives you a nice noise-isolating fit.
00:08:37.000 Raycon's wireless earbuds are so comfortable.
00:08:39.000 They're perfect for conference calls or for binging podcasts like the Charlie Kirk show.
00:08:43.000 Unlike some of your other wireless options, Raycon earbuds are both stylish and discreet, no dangling wires or stems to distract anyone during video calls.
00:08:52.000 Pick up a pair and see what the hype is all about.
00:08:54.000 Now's the time to get the best offer out there.
00:08:57.000 15% off, basically free money by Raycon.com/slash Kirk.
00:09:00.000 That's by Raycon.com/slash Kirk for 15% off.
00:09:03.000 By Raycon.com/slash Kirk.
00:09:08.000 And so again, I don't understand.
00:09:09.000 Maybe someone can explain it to me, but probably not because it comes from the far left.
00:09:12.000 So there's no rationing.
00:09:14.000 There's no rationality.
00:09:15.000 There's no actual way to understand this.
00:09:17.000 What someone who is transgender, so a man who thinks he's a woman, has to do with a woman who knows she's a woman who likes other women.
00:09:27.000 I don't understand why those two things are looped into the same acronym, except for the fact that they're trying to build broad-based coalitions.
00:09:34.000 And for all my LGBT friends or GLBTQ friends, all my gay and lesbian friends out there, let's just put it that way, I encourage you to push back against being lumped into the same sentence, same acronym as transgender people.
00:09:48.000 And so, gender pronouns.
00:09:50.000 So I say there are two genders.
00:09:51.000 Gender and sex are directly related.
00:09:53.000 We're going to build out that argument in just a second.
00:09:56.000 But currently, according to the left, there are 112 genders.
00:10:00.000 Now, this is updated because the last time I did a speech on gender identity, there are 98 genders.
00:10:05.000 So they found more.
00:10:07.000 It's kind of like they do archaeological studies, I guess.
00:10:10.000 They're trying to like excavate to find if there's new genders.
00:10:13.000 I guess if someone just says, I'm something else, I guess I am that thing.
00:10:17.000 So Facebook, publicly traded company, officially recognizes, get this, 71 genders.
00:10:24.000 Can we just be very clear?
00:10:25.000 There are two genders, male and female.
00:10:28.000 That's it.
00:10:29.000 Okay?
00:10:30.000 That's it.
00:10:31.000 If you think you're something else, you have the right and freedom to do that, but that doesn't mean that you are.
00:10:37.000 Just because you believe you are something does not mean you are actually something.
00:10:40.000 There is some incontrovertible, irrefurtible truth.
00:10:44.000 We used to call this science, and now we call this science fiction.
00:10:48.000 So here are some of the most ridiculous, widely accepted genders on the left that Facebook recognizes.
00:10:54.000 None of this, I have to put a disclaimer, none of this is comedy.
00:10:59.000 None of this is parody.
00:11:00.000 This is what the left believes.
00:11:03.000 The first of which, glass gender, a gender that is very sensitive and fragile.
00:11:12.000 Okay.
00:11:13.000 Heliogender.
00:11:14.000 A gender that is warm and burning.
00:11:17.000 This sounds like a dating website.
00:11:19.000 This doesn't sound like genders.
00:11:21.000 This sounds like personal preferences.
00:11:23.000 It sounds like a horoscope.
00:11:24.000 Kyle gender.
00:11:26.000 Or Kyle gender.
00:11:27.000 Selegender.
00:11:29.000 C-A-E-L gender.
00:11:31.000 A gender which shares qualities with outer space.
00:11:31.000 Okay.
00:11:34.000 Sorry, I shouldn't laugh.
00:11:36.000 I'm offending Kyle Genders.
00:11:38.000 A gender which shares qualities with outer space.
00:11:44.000 Or has the aesthetic of space, stars, nebulas, etc.
00:11:48.000 An extraterrestrial gender is what I would call that.
00:11:52.000 Okay, here we go.
00:11:54.000 Apkansunggender.
00:11:56.000 Am I saying that right?
00:11:58.000 Again, this is not comedy.
00:11:59.000 I shouldn't make fun of people who think they're from outer space.
00:12:02.000 Apkansengender.
00:12:04.000 Apapkansengender.
00:12:06.000 Okay.
00:12:06.000 A gender where you know what it isn't, but not what it is.
00:12:13.000 The gender is hiding itself from you.
00:12:15.000 Now, again, I'm reading this word for word.
00:12:17.000 I'm not making any of this stuff up.
00:12:18.000 I'll understand.
00:12:19.000 I'm being deathly serious.
00:12:20.000 The only way I have to react with this tragedy is comedy.
00:12:23.000 It's this wonderful Shakespearean dilemma.
00:12:25.000 That the only way I could possibly react to this is with comedy.
00:12:28.000 You know what comedy is?
00:12:29.000 It's tragedy plus time.
00:12:30.000 This is a tragedy.
00:12:31.000 I've given it 30 seconds.
00:12:32.000 Now I'm making fun of it.
00:12:33.000 So I just want to make myself perfectly clear.
00:12:35.000 I'm not anti-trans.
00:12:36.000 I've met people that are transgender.
00:12:38.000 I have sympathy for them.
00:12:40.000 I don't consider people who are Apkanson gender to be engaging and gender, not engaging, but to have gender dysphoria.
00:12:48.000 Or Kyle gender, which again is a gender which shares qualities of outer space or has the aesthetic of stars, space stars, or nebulas.
00:12:56.000 Again, this is not the onion.
00:12:59.000 This is not parody.
00:13:01.000 Not Comedy Central, SNL.
00:13:03.000 This is the left.
00:13:05.000 Okay, so since you have all these genders, with this many genders comes a need for specific gender pronouns.
00:13:12.000 So in the video, let's actually play the video again because there's just so much beauty in this video.
00:13:18.000 By beauty, I mean tragedy, because it shows everything that the American left has become.
00:13:24.000 And this video right here is the harbinger of things to come.
00:13:27.000 Why?
00:13:28.000 They are going to devour themselves.
00:13:30.000 And they start screaming at each other and having sensory overload using gendered language.
00:13:34.000 Point of personal privilege.
00:13:36.000 Instead of just saying, hey, I want to say something.
00:13:39.000 Hey, they raise their hand.
00:13:40.000 They say, point of personal privilege.
00:13:43.000 Such interesting language.
00:13:44.000 By the way, language does actually matter.
00:13:46.000 So as much as we make fun of these things, words matter.
00:13:49.000 Words carry weight.
00:13:51.000 And the left is trying to change our complete language.
00:13:54.000 This is a fundamental recalibration of vocabulary and societal norms that have built a functioning and civil society.
00:14:03.000 And so let's play the clip again.
00:14:04.000 Let's play the clip one more time so we can listen to it.
00:14:06.000 Quick point of personal privilege.
00:14:08.000 Guys, first of all, James Jackson, Sacramento, he, him.
00:14:12.000 I just want to say, can we please keep the chatter to a minimum?
00:14:14.000 I'm one of the people who's very, very prone to sensory overload.
00:14:18.000 There's a lot of whispering and chatter going on.
00:14:20.000 It's making it very difficult for me to focus.
00:14:22.000 Point of personal privilege?
00:14:23.000 Yes.
00:14:24.000 Please do not use gendered language to address everyone.
00:14:29.000 Okay, you might have missed it, but right towards the beginning, the offended individual, which we're assuming is a Homo sapien and assuming is a male.
00:14:36.000 And it's really important.
00:14:37.000 Okay, you might not understand the joke, but just so you understand, on a college campus, you can't assume somebody's gender.
00:14:43.000 So you have to actually preface yourself with the correct gender pronouns.
00:14:47.000 And so I know it might seem that I'm being facetious or sarcastic.
00:14:50.000 I'm sort of being sarcastic in some ways, but this is deathly serious.
00:14:54.000 So for example, from the University of Wisconsin, instead of using he, him, or she, her, you have to use non-gendered pronouns or options.
00:15:03.000 So for example, there are five different variations of this.
00:15:07.000 So instead of saying she, her, her, hers, herself, you would say something such as Z, Zem, Zer, Zers, and Zemself, which is ungendered language.
00:15:20.000 I'm making none of this up.
00:15:22.000 Or you say Z, Zem, her, her, hers, herself.
00:15:26.000 Or V-ver, vis-vis, verself.
00:15:30.000 Again, this is what the left is instituting at the University of Wisconsin.
00:15:35.000 Okay, so look, there are only two genders.
00:15:38.000 It's very simple.
00:15:40.000 Gender and sex are directly interconnected and directly related.
00:15:43.000 The left makes the argument that gender and sex are two separate things.
00:15:47.000 That sex is your chromosomal structure.
00:15:50.000 And gender is a societal norm.
00:15:52.000 You get to choose your gender, and your sex is given to you at birth.
00:15:56.000 Those of us that appreciate science understand that gender and sex are directly related.
00:16:02.000 So the chromosomal argument is very simple.
00:16:03.000 You have XX, which is a female, XY, which is a male.
00:16:07.000 So I'm kind of stammering for words because this shouldn't really be a discussion.
00:16:15.000 This is the rule.
00:16:16.000 The exception to the rule are people that are intersex.
00:16:20.000 Intersex is a minority of a minority.
00:16:23.000 In America, it's super rare.
00:16:24.000 Intersex are people that are born with both reproductive organs, both male and female reproductive organs, and they are exception to the rule.
00:16:34.000 What happens when you have an exception is you have a rule.
00:16:36.000 The rule is you have two, you have a chromosomal structure that is XX or XY.
00:16:42.000 You fall into one of those categories.
00:16:44.000 This is basic natural science.
00:16:47.000 And in America, just so you understand how rare it is, just 0.05% or one in 2,000 people are born intersex.
00:16:55.000 This is the exception to the truth that there are only two genders.
00:16:59.000 Anything beyond that is an aberration, including the hundreds of genders the left forces us to abide by, such as just for a recap, glass gender, Heliogender, Calgender, and Apkakunsung gender.
00:17:10.000 I mean, Apkhansung gender.
00:17:11.000 I can't pronounce this.
00:17:12.000 I'm sorry.
00:17:13.000 These policies are being pushed most notably on college campuses.
00:17:16.000 So this goes back to our thesis, and I'm going to give you some examples of this, is that whatever happens on college campuses will soon happen in corporate boardrooms, which will then happen in the halls of Congress.
00:17:27.000 So it goes from campus to boardrooms to Congress.
00:17:29.000 So these policies are now being implemented on basically every single college campus across the country.
00:17:34.000 Colorado State University, CSU, which I'll refer to it as, they have an inclusive language guide, which outlines the school's official stance on what language is and is not appropriate to use at their university.
00:17:45.000 So word and phrases you have to avoid are he and she, because that's offensive, because you're assuming someone's gender.
00:17:51.000 Fresh man, because you're using a patriarchal term or a male term.
00:17:58.000 Ladies and gentlemen, can't use that, because what if someone is not a lady or a gentleman?
00:18:03.000 What if they are kaleogender, which is an extraterrestrial?
00:18:07.000 You cannot use the term homosexual.
00:18:10.000 I don't know why.
00:18:12.000 Mr., miss, or misses, they suggest replacing the title with MX.
00:18:17.000 So NIX, NIX.
00:18:20.000 Male or female, you cannot say you guys.
00:18:24.000 You cannot say policeman, fireman, chairman, etc.
00:18:27.000 And you can definitely not use the term grandfathered in.
00:18:32.000 This is at Colorado State University.
00:18:34.000 This is a state college that your taxpayer dollars are going to, that this absurdity is happening.
00:18:39.000 You understand this is fascist speech police, if you're listening to this.
00:18:42.000 This is fascist speech police.
00:18:44.000 So for example, you have to say, oh, there's a crime.
00:18:47.000 Let's call the policeman.
00:18:49.000 Instead, all of a sudden, wrong, I'm going to write you up.
00:18:52.000 I'm going to have someone come after you.
00:18:54.000 Okay, I'm sorry.
00:18:56.000 We'll call the fireman because there's a fire.
00:18:58.000 Wrong, you can't say that.
00:18:59.000 You have to say, fire person.
00:19:02.000 American University, right outside of Washington, D.C., actually in Washington, D.C. American University is seeking to mandate language to be used by faculty when referring to students.
00:19:12.000 Faculty and staff members can be investigated for failure to respect gender identity through its bias reporting system.
00:19:18.000 Now remember, this is what got Jordan Peterson kind of to be so notorious.
00:19:22.000 Notorious is the wrong term, because notorious means bad.
00:19:25.000 I mean, so actually what's got him so popular.
00:19:26.000 So let me correct myself.
00:19:27.000 It was what got him to be so, really is what built his popularity and his virality is when Canada, through a section in the Human Rights Code, tried to, by force, make Jordan Peterson use certain gender pronouns.
00:19:40.000 So instead of using force, here's the really important thing.
00:19:43.000 I just have to make this kind of side note that if I met someone who was transgender and they said, Charlie, I identify as a woman and I would like you to call me this name or call me by this pronoun, I would do that because that's what mutual respect is.
00:19:57.000 And how do we know that civil society would do this?
00:20:00.000 Because people ask us to call them something different all the time.
00:20:03.000 Hey, can you stop calling me this nickname or can you stop calling me this?
00:20:06.000 And generally, as a civil society, we've come to a way to intermediate those differences about government rules.
00:20:13.000 So I'll give you a great example.
00:20:14.000 I know a couple of these people are listening to the podcast, and so they're going to be smiling when they listen to this.
00:20:19.000 I can't stand being called Chuck.
00:20:21.000 I hate it.
00:20:22.000 Growing up, I was called Chuck far too often.
00:20:25.000 So anytime anyone would call me Chuck, I'd say, please don't call me Chuck.
00:20:28.000 And it faded down, except for a group of like six of my friends who knew it bothered me so much.
00:20:33.000 Every time they see me, they say, hey, Chuck.
00:20:35.000 Hey, Chuck.
00:20:35.000 For those of you that don't know, Chuck is a way that many people name Charlie.
00:20:39.000 It's a nickname for someone with the name of Charlie.
00:20:41.000 And so basically, no one calls me Chuck.
00:20:43.000 And it really, really irritates me, except my six friends who do it to irritate me, and I don't really care.
00:20:47.000 But that's a really basic example of how I intermediated the differences through civil dialogue.
00:20:52.000 And I said, please don't call me that.
00:20:53.000 I would prefer if you don't call me that.
00:20:55.000 And people generally will respect the lines that you draw.
00:20:58.000 The same can be said for the transgender argument.
00:21:00.000 Why can't we just have civil dialogue and have common respect for each other?
00:21:04.000 Whereas transgender people would be able to go to me and say, please call me this, this, and this.
00:21:08.000 Instead, these universities like American University or Colorado State University, through soft fascism, are putting in huge repercussions and potential consequences if you dare violate this kind of language.
00:21:21.000 Go to the University of California, Berkeley.
00:21:23.000 I say, quote, this is from the Associated Press.
00:21:25.000 There will be no manholes in Berkeley, California.
00:21:28.000 City workers will now drop into, quote, maintenance holes instead.
00:21:33.000 Nothing will be, quote, man-made in the liberal city, but instead, human-made.
00:21:39.000 And students at the University of California, Berkeley will join collegiate Greek system residences rather than fraternities and sororities.
00:21:46.000 Berkeley is supposed to be the beacon of free speech, yet now they're limiting the speech of anyone who wants to use traditional language like he or she, him, or hers.
00:21:56.000 Again, University of California, Berkeley, instead of mitigating differences as civil people do, feels if they have to recalibrate our entire language.
00:22:03.000 Harvard University, which is sometimes considered to be the best university in America, I will push back against that, but some people consider it.
00:22:11.000 Harvard suppresses Freedom Association in the name of gender equality.
00:22:14.000 So, quote, Harvard students who are members of single gender clubs are barred from leading campus groups or becoming captains of sports teams.
00:22:22.000 The school also refuses to endorse the students for prestigious fellowships, prestigious fellowships, including the Rhodes and Marshall Scholarships.
00:22:30.000 So what they're saying, Harvard University is saying right here, is if you dare go after single gender clubs, if you go join an all-men's fraternity or an all-woman's sorority or an all-men's group, you can no longer become a Rhodes or Marshall scholar.
00:22:42.000 You cannot get a prestigious fellowship.
00:22:44.000 I thought the whole idea is not to discriminate against people.
00:22:47.000 They're literally discriminating against people if they decide to go into a group that is based on singular gender identity.
00:22:54.000 The left is raising the cost of college.
00:22:56.000 This is really interesting.
00:22:57.000 As the cost of college is rising dramatically, it costs more and more to attend college.
00:23:03.000 So the left is raising the cost of attending college while simultaneously railing against the cost of higher education.
00:23:09.000 So for example, American University is set to spend $121 million on quote diversity initiatives.
00:23:15.000 So while they're complaining that the cost of college is going up so dramatically, so hey, American University, how about instead of spending $121 million on diversity initiatives, you only spend $20 million and you spend that $100 million on tuition aid for your students that are going into debt to go study garbage at your university.
00:23:32.000 Columbia University is looking to spend an extra $100 million, this is stunning, on diversity and inclusion initiatives over the coming year.
00:23:41.000 And so I addressed all this kind of mounting gender insanity on Fox and Friends with my good friend Pete Hegseth.
00:23:48.000 I want to cut to a clip of this where I talk and I kind of talk to some of the older audience where I say, you might be so surprised to hear this.
00:23:55.000 Cut the tape.
00:23:56.000 I want your viewers to understand this though.
00:23:58.000 This is growing.
00:23:59.000 This sort of gendered awareness language is now in corporate America.
00:24:02.000 It is on basically every college campus across the country, including many that are considered mainstream.
00:24:07.000 This is not stopping.
00:24:09.000 This is not just segregated and secluded to the radicals and the democrat socialists.
00:24:12.000 This will soon be in Congress.
00:24:14.000 And this sort of ideology is growing quickly in America.
00:24:17.000 We must do everything we can to stop it.
00:24:18.000 So as you heard there, at Turning Point USA, we have been fighting this for years and we have been signaling the alarm and trying to pull as many fire alarms as we can along the way.
00:24:27.000 We're the ones that are just, hey, there's something really nutty going on here and be careful because students are believing it and now they're entering into functioning society.
00:24:36.000 And now functioning society is changing and really thoughtful people are starting to take notice.
00:24:41.000 So one of my favorite writers, I do not agree with her all the time, but my goodness, God gave her the gift of the pen.
00:24:50.000 She is an incredible writer, unbelievable writer, is Peggy Noonan.
00:24:55.000 And just the way she's able to craft sentences and paragraphs together, it's poetry.
00:24:59.000 She's one of the most gifted writers in American politics.
00:25:02.000 I really believe that.
00:25:03.000 And I encourage all of you to check out this piece in the Wall Street Journal.
00:25:06.000 And I'm going to butcher some pronunciation here, so I apologize.
00:25:09.000 Essentially, it's what were Robespierre's pronouns.
00:25:12.000 And it talks about how the French Revolution was led by sociopaths who politicized language, much like today's Jacobins.
00:25:19.000 I'm not going to read the whole piece, but the essence of the piece kind of shows that the French Revolution tried to co-opt language and the failures of the French Revolution, which was rooted in the tyranny of the minority and mob rule, similar to today's left-wing mob.
00:25:36.000 So I am going to read one paragraph from this piece, which I think is really important.
00:25:40.000 Peggy Noonan says this.
00:25:41.000 The French Revolution was largely run by sociopaths.
00:25:45.000 One, Robespierre, the messianic schoolmaster, quote, messianic schoolmaster, saw it as an opportunity for the moral instruction of the nation.
00:25:54.000 Everything would be politicized.
00:25:55.000 No part of the citizen's life left untouched.
00:25:58.000 As man was governed by an empire of images, in the words of a Jacobin intellectual, the new regime would provide new images to shape new thoughts.
00:26:09.000 There would be pageants and new names for things.
00:26:11.000 They would change time itself.
00:26:13.000 This is actually what the French Revolution wanted to do.
00:26:16.000 They wanted to change time.
00:26:17.000 The first year of the new republic was no longer 1792.
00:26:21.000 It was year one.
00:26:23.000 To detach farmers from their superstitions, their Gregorian calendar, you know, the calendar that built Western civilization, and its saint days, you know, the Judeo-Christian construct, they would rename the months.
00:26:35.000 The first month would be in the fall, named for the harvest.
00:26:38.000 There would be no more weeks, just a three 10-day periods of each month.
00:26:43.000 I am not kidding, the left is going to try to redo our calendar.
00:26:46.000 I actually think Peggy Noonan is onto something here.
00:26:49.000 But look, the French Revolution was built by narcissistic sociopaths that try to deconstruct everything around civil and functioning society.
00:26:56.000 Now understand the left will always operate in patterns.
00:26:59.000 Human beings operate in patterns, and radical far-left-wing movements operate in patterns.
00:27:03.000 Let me give you three examples.
00:27:05.000 Every single time the left takes over power in a culture or in a country, the first thing they do is try to eliminate all the history.
00:27:10.000 The best example of this is the Chinese Revolution.
00:27:13.000 When they went through the Cultural Revolution, the first thing they did was eliminate, tear down as many statues and burn as much history of Confucius, of Ming, of the Shuhong, of the Shuzhang dynasty, you name it.
00:27:24.000 They burnt down to the ground every piece of Chinese history they could possibly find.
00:27:29.000 Same in the Russian Revolution, same in the Cuban Revolution, same in all these kind of communist Marxist revolutions, and same, of course, now back in the French Revolution.
00:27:37.000 And isn't that exactly what the left in America is trying to do right now?
00:27:40.000 They're trying to get rid of Betsy Ross.
00:27:41.000 They're trying to kneel during the national anthem.
00:27:43.000 They're trying to call the flag a symbol of white supremacy.
00:27:45.000 They're trying to get rid of certain textbooks.
00:27:47.000 They're trying to change marriage.
00:27:48.000 They're trying to change institutions that work.
00:27:50.000 The left will always operate in systems of patterns.
00:27:54.000 Now, why do they want to destroy history?
00:27:55.000 Well, because any sort of reflection of history actually might make human beings question what is currently going on.
00:28:01.000 So, and the French revolutionist Peggy Noonan correctly points out, they want to start year one.
00:28:05.000 There is no history before us.
00:28:06.000 There's nothing important that's ever happened.
00:28:08.000 We're the most important thing on earth.
00:28:11.000 Boy, that is the lack of humility.
00:28:13.000 That is the lack of gratitude.
00:28:15.000 I think one of the greatest thinkers in Western civilization was the Roman consul Cicero.
00:28:19.000 One of my favorite quotes that he had, and I'm paraphrasing, we'll find the exact quote, where he said, the greatest virtue is gratitude, which all the others stem from.
00:28:28.000 And we've talked about this on the Charlie Kirk show before, and it's something that we do a lot in the Charlie Kirk show: we talk about the great thinkers that built Western civilization, like Cicero, a little bit like Plato, but some of his stuff that he wrote was garbage, like Aristotle, like Socrates, like Augustine, like Aquinas, like Hume, like Locke.
00:28:45.000 But Cicero talked about you must have gratitude for what came before you.
00:28:49.000 You must be thankful for what you have, and none of that, all other virtues stem from there.
00:28:54.000 Do you think the American left is thankful?
00:28:57.000 Do you think the Democrat socialists of America are thankful to be in America?
00:29:01.000 Do you think the Democrat socialists of America have gratitude, overpouring gratitude to be an American citizen?
00:29:07.000 The answer is, of course not.
00:29:09.000 They're driven by the opposite of gratitude, which is unthankfulness.
00:29:13.000 Or the opposite of gratitude is envy.
00:29:15.000 The opposite of gratitude is envy or is destruction.
00:29:18.000 They want to tear down systems that work.
00:29:20.000 That's why they want to destroy what they call gendered language.
00:29:24.000 That's why they want to destroy institutions that have actually proven to work.
00:29:27.000 Now, if there are certain issues with those institutions, we should address them rationally, find those issues, and then pull them out in a way that would work collaboratively for a functioning civil society.
00:29:40.000 The left is a force of destruction.
00:29:42.000 No matter what the left touches, they will destroy.
00:29:45.000 A great example of this is the Boy Scouts of America.
00:29:48.000 As soon as the left started to infiltrate the Boy Scouts of America, it went down.
00:29:51.000 I have a lot of authority to talk on this topic because I'm an Eagle Scout.
00:29:55.000 Less than 1% of all people that enter Boy Scouts of America will end up being Eagle Scouts.
00:29:59.000 I worked my tail off to get my Eagle Scout.
00:30:01.000 I got my merit badges required.
00:30:03.000 I'm so proud that I became an Eagle Scout.
00:30:05.000 However, for future generations, I don't think I can encourage those generations to go into the Boy Scouts of America.
00:30:11.000 They have destroyed the Boy Scouts of America.
00:30:13.000 Why?
00:30:14.000 Because they've allowed girls into the Boy Scouts.
00:30:16.000 You might say, well, Charlie, that's a pretty draconian, backwards way of thinking.
00:30:20.000 There is so much value in single-sex education or single-sex experiences.
00:30:27.000 I could tell you, when I was at Boy Scout camp, the fact that it was only boys and only men made you more likely to take risks, less likely to be embarrassed of failure, and be able to establish fraternity with people that you have for the rest of your life.
00:30:43.000 There are multiple studies that show that discomfort and discord and uncomfortability come from mixing men and women at early ages, especially during formative experiences.
00:30:55.000 So, for example, when you're trying to climb a rope at Boy Scout camp and you fall, you're going to be 10 times more embarrassed if there's a girl looking at you doing that.
00:31:04.000 Social psychologists will agree with this.
00:31:06.000 If it's all men, you'll be embarrassed, but you'll be embarrassed for a different reason.
00:31:10.000 Well, you're embarrassed not because you disapproved in front of the lady, but instead, you want to be the biggest man there and you want to get to the top.
00:31:18.000 These sorts of experiences are now being diluted and deteriorated because the left has taken over the Boy Scouts of America.
00:31:28.000 Look, I want to talk to you about internet freedom.
00:31:30.000 Social media companies get to decide what content is suitable for the sensitive snowflakes among us and censor whatever they don't like.
00:31:38.000 Shouldn't you be the one to decide what you want to read or watch, not them?
00:31:43.000 There's one thing you can control: their access to your data.
00:31:46.000 And that's why I use ExpressVPN.
00:31:48.000 You see, the problem with big tech companies is that they not only do they censor what you read, they track what you do online.
00:31:55.000 They track what you're searching for, the videos you watch, and everything that you click.
00:31:59.000 They use this data to serve you ads and can match your activity to your offline identity using your device's unique IP address.
00:32:06.000 That's exactly why I use ExpressVPN.
00:32:08.000 I use ExpressVPN to protect myself from the Orwellian tech companies that want to attack your computer or your device.
00:32:16.000 These tech companies can't see my IP address at all.
00:32:19.000 Sorry, can't see it.
00:32:20.000 My identity is masked and anonymized by a secure VPN server.
00:32:25.000 Plus, ExpressVPN also encrypts 100% of your data to protect you from hackers and the bad guys on the internet.
00:32:31.000 Does that sound complicated?
00:32:33.000 It's not, I promise.
00:32:34.000 ExpressVPN software takes just one minute to set up on your computer or phone.
00:32:38.000 You tap one button and you're protected.
00:32:40.000 So why give these tech companies a free license to know everything about you?
00:32:44.000 And then you turn around and sell off all your information.
00:32:46.000 It's time to take back your privacy at expressvpn.com/slash Charlie.
00:32:50.000 By visiting my special link, you get three months of ExpressVPN service for free.
00:32:55.000 Who doesn't like to save money, right?
00:32:56.000 It's expressvpn.com/slash Charlie.
00:32:58.000 E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com/slash Charlie, expressvpn.com/slash Charlie.
00:33:07.000 The left destroys everything that it touches.
00:33:10.000 Can anyone tell me one thing the left has ever built?
00:33:12.000 The left only destroys.
00:33:14.000 The left only deconstructs.
00:33:16.000 They've destroyed Venezuela.
00:33:17.000 They've destroyed most of Western Europe.
00:33:19.000 They're trying to destroy the rest of Europe.
00:33:21.000 They've destroyed every civilization, every culture they've ever come in touch with.
00:33:25.000 And now that's what they're trying to do here.
00:33:27.000 The Democrat Socialists of America are a direct extension of Rassoian and Marxist philosophy that has been tried time and time again.
00:33:35.000 The difference with the Democrat Socialists of America, this is really important that if you're listening to this and you're over the age of 40, this is a different struggle with Marxism than the struggle of Marxism that we experienced in the 70s and 80s.
00:33:46.000 Soviet Marxism was economic Marxism, not cultural Marxism.
00:33:51.000 This is a very profound point.
00:33:53.000 The Soviet model of Marxism, while they were atheist in nature and secularist, they did not destroy the Russian Orthodox Church.
00:34:01.000 In fact, they understood that they can keep it kind of on the periphery as long as they don't get too strong and they don't get too powerful.
00:34:07.000 They can still exist.
00:34:08.000 The Russian-Soviet model had an unbelievable amount of flaws.
00:34:12.000 They ignored Gramsci's treatise, which was written in the late 1920s, early 1930s.
00:34:18.000 Gramsci was an Italian.
00:34:20.000 He was an Italian Marxist who argued that cultural Marxism, that Marxists should assume a cultural revolution, that the economic argument was not enough for the Marxists, that the idea of the bourgeoisie versus the proletariat or the idea of the working class versus the business owners was not enough.
00:34:40.000 That instead there must be a cultural revolution, which means redefining genders and gender norms.
00:34:45.000 You actually go way back to a thinker that argued that gender norms should be basically eliminated.
00:34:51.000 Anyone?
00:34:52.000 Plato.
00:34:53.000 Plato went as far to say this in the Republic.
00:34:56.000 He actually argued that gender norms should be completely and totally eliminated.
00:35:00.000 He said that the family should be demolished, that the government should essentially become the family.
00:35:05.000 He said that women should have complete and total compatibility with men, and that gender was, he argued, to be so, he didn't go as far to say that was a social construct, but some people could look at Plato's teachings and look at the utopia he was trying to create and find a great deal of disagreement there.
00:35:23.000 I'm much more Aristotelian.
00:35:25.000 So just to build that out further, just so my language is more precise, I sympathize much more with Aristotle than with Plato.
00:35:31.000 So to go back to what Peggy Noonan was saying though, Peggy Noonan points in a singular paragraph that the left is an unstoppable force of destruction.
00:35:41.000 They were in 1792 during the French Revolution.
00:35:44.000 Now mind you, there were two different revolutions and these revolutions are still at war with each other.
00:35:48.000 The French Revolution, which focused on equality and fraternity, and the American Revolution, which focused on liberty, e pluribus unum, and the rule of law.
00:35:57.000 These two revolutions have two totally different philosophical fathers.
00:36:02.000 The father of the French Revolution is Rousseau.
00:36:04.000 The father of the American Revolution is Hume, Locke, and Smith.
00:36:08.000 And they both had way different ways to view the world.
00:36:10.000 And if you want to go all the way back to the Greek roots of it, yes, it is this struggle of Plato versus Aristotle.
00:36:16.000 They totally disagreed with each other, not on everything, but on a lot of big things.
00:36:20.000 And Aristotle is much more the father of Western society.
00:36:24.000 Plato is much more the father of Rousseau, which led to Marx, which has led to some of the modern day cultural Marxists that we have today.
00:36:31.000 And Peggy Noonan rightly points this out.
00:36:33.000 To go back to one of my favorite thinkers ever in the history of Western civilization, the quote that I was paraphrasing, now we have this specific quote by Cicero.
00:36:41.000 Remember, kind of quick trivia, Cicero was one year Roman consul, probably the best council that Rome ever had.
00:36:47.000 I believe he was Trump before Trump.
00:36:49.000 He talked about making Rome great again.
00:36:51.000 He argued that Rome cannot find cannot fight reckless and endless wars.
00:36:55.000 He talked about how Rome was getting lazy and was getting fat and too happy.
00:36:59.000 He warned against the downfall of Rome, and he said that Rome needed a resurgence.
00:37:03.000 He limited himself to one term because councils only served one term.
00:37:06.000 That's back when Rome was a republic and not an empire.
00:37:09.000 Cicero said this.
00:37:10.000 Gratitude is not only the greatest of all virtues, but the parent of all others.
00:37:15.000 Said by Cicero, must we never forget the great teachings of Cicero.
00:37:18.000 He was a best-selling author at the time, huge public speaker, so we could actually draw some parallels between Donald Trump, the celebrity, and Cicero, the celebrity.
00:37:25.000 People actually went, traveled hundreds of miles to go see Cicero speak in Rome.
00:37:30.000 And so to transition, this happens now in corporate boardrooms.
00:37:34.000 And again, this goes to the thesis, college campuses feed to corporate boardrooms, which then feed the halls of Congress.
00:37:41.000 So again, it goes one after the other, after the other.
00:37:43.000 So we've established Congress.
00:37:45.000 Now we go to corporate boardrooms.
00:37:46.000 California law now, quote, requires publicly traded corporations headquartered in California to include at least one woman on their board of directors by the end of 2019 as part of an effort to close the gender gap in business.
00:37:58.000 That doesn't have as much to do with kind of the prior argument, but why don't you just have competent people on your board of directors?
00:38:05.000 I mean, what if we have competent, proficient, educated people, not just people under a certain gender conformity?
00:38:15.000 What a concept.
00:38:16.000 Furthermore, by the end of, by the way, can I just pause?
00:38:19.000 I thought there was no difference between men and women, so then why would they want women to sit on board of directors?
00:38:23.000 If there was no difference in men and women, why does it matter?
00:38:25.000 It's all the same, right?
00:38:26.000 There's no difference between men and women.
00:38:28.000 These a pay gap actually exist.
00:38:30.000 Their whole argument is that there is no difference.
00:38:31.000 There's no biological difference between men and women.
00:38:34.000 One of the big arguments to the left is that men and women are basically the same and gender as a social construct, and men are really women and women are really men and we're all just one.
00:38:42.000 But if that's really the case, then why is there a gender pay gap?
00:38:45.000 Why does that actually exist?
00:38:46.000 There's no difference between testosterone and estrogen, then why would we need to close the pay gap?
00:38:51.000 Is there a pay gap?
00:38:52.000 Of course not.
00:38:53.000 Everyone's equal, so it doesn't exist.
00:38:54.000 Furthermore, by the end of July 2021, the law requires that, quote, a minimum of two women must sit on boards with five members, and there must be at least three women on boards with six or more members.
00:39:04.000 Companies that fail to comply face fines up to $100,000 for the first violation and $300 for a second or subsequent violation.
00:39:11.000 So what's really happening here is the state government of California is coming in and mandating how private businesses must structure their corporate governance.
00:39:20.000 Forget running efficiently.
00:39:21.000 Forget having the economic freedom.
00:39:24.000 So here's what I don't understand.
00:39:26.000 What if there's an all-women board?
00:39:30.000 Do men have to be on there too?
00:39:32.000 Is that the way that the law is written?
00:39:33.000 No.
00:39:33.000 So you can have an all-women board, but you can't have an all-male board.
00:39:37.000 That sounds like a double standard.
00:39:38.000 If the left didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have standards at all.
00:39:41.000 So let's pretend you have an all-male board.
00:39:43.000 Couldn't you get around this by just asking half the board to identify as women?
00:39:47.000 Wouldn't that count?
00:39:48.000 Can you just say, hey, we actually don't want to add unqualified people?
00:39:52.000 Again, I'm not saying women are unqualified, but let's just say your board is amazingly qualified and it's all men.
00:39:57.000 Just say, hey, can half you just identify as women for the when the California Business Association comes in.
00:40:04.000 Again, this is another example of state government and government in general coming in and telling people how to run their businesses under the guise of equality.
00:40:12.000 Where do these ideas come from?
00:40:14.000 They come from college campuses.
00:40:16.000 And where do college campuses lead to eventually?
00:40:19.000 The United States Congress.
00:40:22.000 So just right here and right now, this Congress, the fifth bill that they voted on, HR 5, HR 5 was called the Equality Act.
00:40:31.000 Boy, that sounds nice, doesn't it?
00:40:33.000 Who could be against equality?
00:40:36.000 Quick facts about the Equality Act, as nice as it sounds.
00:40:38.000 I think approval ratings on the Equality Act was 68%.
00:40:43.000 Is that right, Mr. Producer?
00:40:44.000 69%.
00:40:45.000 Okay.
00:40:46.000 House Democrats unanimously passed the Equality Act 236 to 173.
00:40:51.000 Sounds simple enough.
00:40:52.000 Democrats framed the Equality Act as a crusade in defense of the LGBT community.
00:40:57.000 Again, explain to me what gay people have to do with people with gender dysphoria.
00:41:02.000 I don't understand that.
00:41:03.000 Now, mind you, let's just take a step back.
00:41:05.000 For basically all of modern scientific history, like basically last hundred years, people who are transgender were considered to be gender dysphoric by the medical community.
00:41:15.000 Now we call those individuals transgender.
00:41:17.000 By the way, I want to make something very clear.
00:41:19.000 They're equally as human.
00:41:21.000 I'm not making fun of them.
00:41:22.000 I'm not poking fun at them.
00:41:24.000 And I'm simply cross-examining and poking fun at the absurdity of the left of this insane gender identity cyclone that they have perpetrated on our functioning civil society.
00:41:36.000 So in reality, instead of it actually being a crusade in defense of LGBTQ people, it's really an attempt to criminalize traditional and religious beliefs about marriage.
00:41:47.000 It also puts free speech and states' rights at unbelievable risk.
00:41:51.000 We're going to build it out.
00:41:52.000 So what is it?
00:41:53.000 It's a bill.
00:41:54.000 By the way, this passed the House of Representatives.
00:41:56.000 This is not some goofy idea that was passed to the Democrat Socialists of America.
00:42:00.000 So I understand the argument that we're making here.
00:42:02.000 We started with Democrat Socialists of America.
00:42:04.000 Super radical.
00:42:05.000 Easy to make fun of that, right?
00:42:07.000 Then we kind of took a step back and talked about the transgender argument and how insane these things have gotten on college campuses.
00:42:13.000 Then we talked about corporate boardrooms and a little bit about the track record of the left.
00:42:17.000 And now we're talking about how things are actually being passed in the halls of Congress that are unbelievably serious.
00:42:24.000 So what is it?
00:42:25.000 First of all, it's a bill that would add, quote, sexual orientation and quote, gender identity as protected classes under federal civil rights law by amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
00:42:38.000 Where the original Civil Rights Act 1964 actually furthered, this is important, furthered equality by ensuring that African Americans and people of all races had equal access to public accommodations and material goods, which of course is a phenomenal thing, something I totally support.
00:42:56.000 The Equality Act would further inequality by penalizing everyday Americans for their beliefs about marriage and biological sex.
00:43:05.000 So this is from the Heritage Foundation, terrific organization.
00:43:08.000 The five groups that would be harmed by the Equality Act, number one, workers, employees, and business owners.
00:43:14.000 Quote, both workers and employers would be forced to obey speech and gender norms or else lose their jobs or be forced to clear their business.
00:43:22.000 Already florists, wedding planners, and cake shops, remember the lawsuit in Colorado, the masterpiece cake shop, for instance, are implicated in certain states.
00:43:31.000 Number two, medical professionals.
00:43:33.000 The Equality Act would force hospitals, doctors, and insurers to pay for therapies and procedures against any moral objection.
00:43:40.000 Again, this passed the House of Representatives, but with Democrat unanimous support and a couple abstentions, very few abstentions.
00:43:47.000 For all those blue dog Democrats that voted for this, I'm sure this is a really pressing issue in rural America, right?
00:43:52.000 I'm sure this is a really big pressing issue.
00:43:55.000 Another example, Catholic hospitals that do so much good for the world, Catholic hospitals in California and New Jersey, have been sued for declining to perform hysterectomies on otherwise healthy women who want to become male, essentially sex changes.
00:44:09.000 A third Catholic hospital in Washington settled out of court when the ACLU sued them for declining to perform a double mastectomy on a gender dysphoric 16-year-old girl.
00:44:21.000 And so, look, the left loves to use this as a specific example, but if we actually want to use this against them, this is what you call religious conscience.
00:44:31.000 You have a religious conscience.
00:44:32.000 You can abstain from being forced to do something.
00:44:35.000 Do you know who sued and won on this issue?
00:44:37.000 The Hobby Lobby family.
00:44:38.000 We love the Green family.
00:44:39.000 The Green family are terrific people.
00:44:42.000 They sued and won against the federal government against being forced to provide abortive patients that would violate their deeply held religious beliefs to give them to their employers.
00:44:52.000 But mind you, again, this is how hard the left fights and how the right does not fight.
00:44:56.000 And I'm not saying I encourage this.
00:44:58.000 Do you want to say how the left will actually be kind of in a conundrum?
00:45:03.000 Why doesn't someone go to a, I don't know, a very Muslim-dominated neighborhood and make them perform something against the Quran?
00:45:14.000 I actually support the Muslim individual and the Muslim shop owner or the Muslim doctor to not have to perform something that would violate their religious conscience.
00:45:27.000 I don't know how the left would deal with that one.
00:45:30.000 I'm just floating that out there.
00:45:31.000 I don't know how the left would deal with that one.
00:45:33.000 If someone came in to a Muslim bakery and in fact, they would say, yeah, you have to make a cake for a same-sex couple.
00:45:42.000 In fact, I believe there was a satirical video done by Stephen Crowder on this very topic.
00:45:46.000 Either James O'Keefe or Stephen Crowder did this.
00:45:49.000 And they refused service.
00:45:51.000 But again, this is how hard the left fights that the right doesn't fight.
00:45:54.000 The left files a lawsuit instantaneously.
00:45:57.000 The right kind of ignores it.
00:45:58.000 Again, I'm not supporting that.
00:46:00.000 I don't believe in suing up the wazoo.
00:46:03.000 I'm just showing it kind of how would the left actually treat that?
00:46:06.000 It would be really interesting.
00:46:07.000 This also affects parents and children.
00:46:09.000 The Equality Act would put parental rights to make decisions about their children's medical treatment and education at total risk.
00:46:15.000 It would normalize hormonal and surgical interventions for gender dysphoric children as well as ideological education in schools and other public venues.
00:46:23.000 Just a side note, just so you know, in the state of Oregon, did you know that you could get a taxpayer-funded sex change while you're under the age of 18 without parental consent?
00:46:33.000 So you can get a sex change without notifying your parents and have other people pay for it?
00:46:40.000 This is the left.
00:46:42.000 80 to 90% of children with gender dysphoria no longer feel distressed about their bodies after puberty.
00:46:49.000 So that's just an interesting statistic put in there.
00:46:52.000 Despite this powerful statistic, activists are still pushing radical protocol.
00:46:57.000 Social transition as young as four, puberty blocking drugs as young as nine, cross-sex hormones as young as 14, and surgery by 18, or in some cases, even younger.
00:47:07.000 I mean, I want to just kind of give a defense of Mario Lopez.
00:47:10.000 Mario Lopez said something so not controversial on my friend Candace Owens' show, and he received such unbelievable backlash.
00:47:18.000 I was personally very disappointed that Mario Lopez apologized.
00:47:22.000 You cannot apologize to these people.
00:47:24.000 This is a mob.
00:47:25.000 This is a 1792 French Revolution mob.
00:47:28.000 That's what this is.
00:47:29.000 Do not kowtow to these people.
00:47:31.000 You have to stand incontrovertible with truth.
00:47:36.000 And when you say something that is not controversial, can we get exactly what Mario Lopez said?
00:47:39.000 Let's play this sound.
00:47:40.000 Let's actually play this on to what Mario Lopez said.
00:47:43.000 Hey, Candace, giving you some good shout out here.
00:47:45.000 Let's play a Candace Owen show brought to you by our friends, Craiger University.
00:47:48.000 Let's play this sound right now.
00:47:49.000 Look, I'm never one to tell anyone how to parent their kids, obviously, and I think if you come from a place of love.
00:47:54.000 You should, though, because you seem to be doing something right.
00:47:56.000 Thanks.
00:47:56.000 You know, and I always say, if you come from a place of love, you know, you really can't go wrong.
00:48:00.000 But at the same time, my God, if you're three years old and you're saying you're feeling a certain way or you think you're a boy or a girl, whatever the case may be, I just think it's dangerous as a parent to make that determination then, okay.
00:48:13.000 Well, then you're going to be a boy or a girl, whatever the case may be.
00:48:17.000 And it's sort of alarming.
00:48:19.000 And my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on.
00:48:22.000 And so there you heard Mario Lopez being exceedingly polite and politically correct and diplomatic and saying something that shouldn't be controversial, such as, I don't know, don't let three-year-olds choose what gender they are.
00:48:34.000 Look, children already live in a state of confusion.
00:48:37.000 Children already live in a state of where they're trying to find their place in the world.
00:48:41.000 They're trying to understand language.
00:48:42.000 They're trying to understand bearings.
00:48:43.000 It's a very big, very intimidating world.
00:48:46.000 To also put the burden of them having to find self-identification when they're still trying to understand the language and the world that exists around them, I believe is wrong.
00:48:57.000 This is wrong.
00:48:59.000 And it shouldn't be controversial to call that out.
00:49:01.000 And the fact that Mario Lopez received backlash for doing just that is reprehensible.
00:49:07.000 Also under the Equality Act, it'll hurt women.
00:49:11.000 Yes, women, the group that the left says that they are representing.
00:49:17.000 Women are at a disadvantage in sex-specific sports and other activity.
00:49:21.000 There are so many examples here.
00:49:23.000 So the Equality Act would essentially cement these men who think they are women who are competing in women's sports.
00:49:32.000 Men who think they are women should not be able to compete against women in female sports.
00:49:39.000 Recently, transgender, so recently male who thinks he's a woman, weightlifter, L'Orel Hubbard, who competed for New Zealand in men's weightlifting before the transition, won two golds and a silver and three other women.
00:49:53.000 I mean, seriously, have you no shame?
00:49:55.000 Like, okay, I understand you have gender identity.
00:49:58.000 I get that, okay?
00:49:59.000 I really wish you sympathy.
00:50:01.000 But do you really need to go run circles around women in women-only competition?
00:50:07.000 You were born with more testosterone, and all of a sudden you're winning gold medals.
00:50:10.000 We're supposed to applaud you for this.
00:50:12.000 Like, no, you're a coward.
00:50:14.000 Here's why Laurel Hubbard is a coward.
00:50:18.000 You have more testosterone.
00:50:19.000 You competed in men's weightlifting.
00:50:22.000 So that means you were probably, I don't know, power cleaning 345, 345 pounds.
00:50:29.000 And all of a sudden you go to compete again.
00:50:31.000 Of course, you're going to win gold medals in women's weightlifting.
00:50:34.000 With Hubbard free to compete at next year's Tokyo Olympics, again, the left is going to destroy the Olympics.
00:50:39.000 I love the Olympics.
00:50:40.000 They're going to totally and completely destroy it.
00:50:42.000 In the Tokyo Olympics, the 41-year-old has become a quote-unquote lightning rod for criticism.
00:50:47.000 Yeah, I hope so, of the International Olympic Committee, the IOC's guidelines for the inclusion of transgender athletes.
00:50:53.000 How about this?
00:50:53.000 Don't let people who are born with XY chromosomes compete against people who are born with XX chromosomes.
00:51:01.000 That should be so obvious.
00:51:03.000 When you're dealing with the left, you have to say things that are obvious that are called controversial.
00:51:08.000 In Connecticut, the state champion and runner-up in the 55-meter dash was a biological male who thought he was a woman in the process of transitioning to a female.
00:51:17.000 Connecticut is one of 17 states that currently allows men who think they are women athletes to compete against the gender of their choosing absent any restrictions.
00:51:26.000 Coward.
00:51:27.000 And you know what?
00:51:28.000 Shame on the parents and shame on the school system for allowing this to happen.
00:51:33.000 Young women deserve the opportunity to compete and pursue excellence outside of male bullies who think they are women, who want attention and achievement.
00:51:43.000 And by the way, I guarantee you the state champion of a man who thinks he was a woman would not be able to be state champion as a man.
00:51:49.000 I bet I could outrun you.
00:51:50.000 And I'm not even that fast.
00:51:52.000 In January, rep Elon Omar of Minnesota recommended that her state attorney general, Keith Ellison, again, who's under massive accusations for beating his girlfriend, we have 911 calls to show that.
00:52:02.000 It's interesting how the left conveniently ignores that.
00:52:05.000 Investigate USA powerlifting for blocking biological males for competing in women's events.
00:52:11.000 I'm standing up for women here.
00:52:13.000 I believe that people who are born with XX chromosomes should be only people competing against each other's XX chromosomes.
00:52:20.000 As the Daily Caller has reported, Omar referred to the idea that biological male athletes identifying as women have an unfair advantage over biological females as a myth.
00:52:30.000 So this is the quote from Congresswoman Elon Omar, who is also hates Israel and is anti-Semitic.
00:52:38.000 Quote, the myth that trans women have a, quote, direct competitive advantage is not supported by medical science.
00:52:44.000 Oh my gosh.
00:52:45.000 And it continues to stoke fear and violence against one of the most at-risk communities in the world.
00:52:49.000 She must be talking about Christians.
00:52:51.000 Is she talking about Christians?
00:52:52.000 Okay, she must not be talking about Christians.
00:52:54.000 Or Jews.
00:52:54.000 She must be talking about Jews.
00:52:56.000 The Jews are under attack.
00:52:58.000 I did not know that she's standing up for, oh, she's not talking about Jews.
00:53:01.000 She's talking about transgenders.
00:53:02.000 You mean men who think they're women and women who think they're men?
00:53:04.000 Okay.
00:53:05.000 She wrote in a letter to Ellison, who ultimately responded that he had no jurisdiction over investigations into weightlifters.
00:53:11.000 Well, thank you, Keith Ellison.
00:53:12.000 Funny.
00:53:14.000 Hey, Congresswoman, anti-Israel, anti-Jew woman.
00:53:18.000 This is a lie.
00:53:20.000 Three professors, two in bioethics and one in physiology, recently authored a study entitled, Trans Women in Elite Sports, Scientific and Ethical Considerations, including that trans women athletes hold an intolerable advantage over biological women.
00:53:33.000 Is this really that big of a deal?
00:53:35.000 I mean, okay.
00:53:36.000 Anyone watch Game of Thrones?
00:53:37.000 Anyone watch Game of Thrones?
00:53:38.000 Okay, I want you to just understand something.
00:53:41.000 The guy protecting Cersei Lannister, what was his name?
00:53:43.000 He was a Cleghain, right?
00:53:44.000 They called him what?
00:53:45.000 The mountain.
00:53:46.000 If all of a sudden he thought he was a woman and he went into, by the way, he's actually the world's strongest man.
00:53:51.000 Just by a side note, in real life, the guy that was playing that is legitimately the world's strongest man.
00:53:55.000 If Clegain, or even his brother, who's smaller, the hound, decided to compete against women, Elon Omar says that they don't have an advantage.
00:54:04.000 The dude can like squat 2,000 pounds.
00:54:08.000 And I'm not even kidding.
00:54:09.000 It's insane.
00:54:10.000 He's literally the world's strongest man.
00:54:12.000 Man, because he's a man, because men have more testosterone and less estrogen.
00:54:19.000 This is not difficult, Elon Omar.
00:54:23.000 My goodness, you cannot make this stuff up.
00:54:26.000 The left is an unstoppable force of destruction of civil society.
00:54:31.000 And the media acts like this is perfectly permissible.
00:54:35.000 Oh, yeah, that's just Elon being Elon.
00:54:37.000 I guess that's what they say, right?
00:54:39.000 Yeah, well, at least she's not hating on Jews today.
00:54:42.000 Right, great.
00:54:43.000 The author cites research demonstrating that health, quote, healthy young men did not lose significant muscle mass or power when their circulating testosterone were reduced.
00:54:51.000 So essentially, this talks about the IOC guideline says that men who think they are women can compete against women if they take certain medication or certain injections that reduce their testosterone.
00:55:01.000 It actually doesn't work according to this study.
00:55:03.000 It goes on and on and on.
00:55:05.000 So this is also a really important point.
00:55:07.000 Sexual orientation and gender identity laws that open up sex-specific facilities like bathrooms, locker rooms, et cetera, to members of the opposite sex enable sexual assault.
00:55:17.000 I mean, I thought there was a huge movement on college campuses to try to prevent sexual assault.
00:55:21.000 Hmm.
00:55:22.000 Wait a second.
00:55:24.000 When you have dormitories and you have bathrooms where men and women are showering together, do you think you're going to get more or less sexual assault in those kind of instances?
00:55:34.000 I thought you're probably going to get more.
00:55:35.000 You're probably going to get more sexual assault.
00:55:38.000 Women deserve to be protected.
00:55:40.000 Women deserve to be understood.
00:55:42.000 Yes, women deserve to be heard.
00:55:44.000 I'm not even being facetious.
00:55:45.000 I believe that.
00:55:46.000 And when women tell me that they don't want to be showering next to some creepy dude, and all of a sudden we're forcing this sort of forced shower, which the Equality Act would do.
00:55:55.000 Do you know a lot of college campuses have bathrooms that are co-ed?
00:55:59.000 I can't believe this.
00:56:00.000 They have co-ed dormitory shower rooms.
00:56:03.000 It's stunning to me.
00:56:04.000 Boys having access to the girls' restroom and girls having access to the boys' restroom.
00:56:08.000 Again, this goes back to the tyranny of the radical minority.
00:56:11.000 We are pandering to a radical minority just for the sake of not offending a couple people that are a minority of a minority, and we're disenfranchising all of functioning civil society.
00:56:23.000 This would also go after churches and faith nonprofits.
00:56:25.000 Again, we're talking about the Equality Act here.
00:56:28.000 Faith-based adoption agencies that seek one man and one woman as a mother and father have been shut down in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. Churches that teach traditional values on marriage and sexuality can potentially be censured, fined, or shut down.
00:56:44.000 Think about this.
00:56:44.000 Under the Equality Act, the language of the Bible is potentially open to legal censure.
00:56:50.000 Most importantly, the bill that prohibits the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 and providing a claim, defense, or basis for challenging such protections.
00:56:58.000 Most specifically, this bill prohibits the Freedom Restoration Act of 1993.
00:57:03.000 Look, there's no chance in hell that this bill would stand up against the Supreme Court, but it is important to talk about it.
00:57:09.000 There's no way.
00:57:09.000 I mean, this actually, this bill should be struck down 9-0 if it ever got passed into law.
00:57:14.000 This is nothing more than pandering to the base.
00:57:16.000 This is absolutely unacceptable.
00:57:18.000 I actually have a question.
00:57:19.000 Do we have to stop seeking Spanish because certain words are gender binary?
00:57:23.000 Because I always learned when you have to actually describe a certain, you have to either conjugate a verb or more importantly, describe a noun as feminine or masculine, you have to change it in a certain way.
00:57:36.000 So, elle, ella, ella, ella.
00:57:41.000 Hold on a second.
00:57:43.000 You can't do that anymore.
00:57:44.000 So do we have to redo the entire...
00:57:46.000 I have to retake Spanish class.
00:57:47.000 I barely learned anything anyway.
00:57:49.000 I know like seven words.
00:57:52.000 All I know is basically biblioteca.
00:57:54.000 And I know it means library.
00:57:56.000 And actually, that's one of the exceptional ones where even though it's masculine, you call it feminine.
00:58:01.000 So that's the only one I remember.
00:58:02.000 It's actually a gender-confused word that I know.
00:58:05.000 Anyway.
00:58:06.000 Going back to Cal, so let's play a clip of me on the campus of the University of Oregon where a campus leftist reveals what they believe when it comes to actually allowing jail time if you use the wrong pronoun.
00:58:18.000 This stuff is so important.
00:58:21.000 Really, really important.
00:58:22.000 Play tape.
00:58:23.000 In California, you can go to prison if you misgender somebody.
00:58:27.000 Oh, yeah.
00:58:28.000 You're okay with that.
00:58:29.000 Yes.
00:58:29.000 Oh, okay.
00:58:29.000 So you can't do that.
00:58:30.000 So you think if I misgender somebody.
00:58:32.000 Okay, so if I go up to somebody and I misgender them, I can face prison time and you're okay with it.
00:58:37.000 Oh, yes.
00:58:38.000 Okay, that's the problem.
00:58:40.000 The problem is that you're not.
00:58:41.000 You're forcing speech.
00:58:43.000 Okay, so if you went up to me and you're like, you're a man.
00:58:47.000 If you came up to me and you told me...
00:58:48.000 Well, I don't want to assume you're gender.
00:58:50.000 So I don't know how you tell me.
00:58:52.000 Okay, well, I advise I see her sorry.
00:58:54.000 Okay.
00:58:56.000 And if I say him, I could face prison time in California and you're okay with that.
00:59:01.000 That's forcing speech.
00:59:03.000 That is a form of fascism.
00:59:09.000 That's the problem.
00:59:11.000 California law allows for jail time for using wrong gender pronouns.
00:59:15.000 Violations can be punishable up to $1,000 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed one year.
00:59:23.000 You can get one year in jail if you misgender somebody in the state of California.
00:59:27.000 And this individual that I'm assuming is a woman, I'm assuming her gender, that I talked to at the University of Oregon, thought that was perfectly fine.
00:59:35.000 So look, to kind of wrap all this together, the radical left is on a rampage to destroy the language and destroy civil society as we know it.
00:59:44.000 And one of the ways they're trying to do that is, yes, through gender pronouns and gender identity.
00:59:50.000 We just went through all the negatives of the Equality Act, which passed unanimously with House Democrats.
00:59:55.000 I'd like to think a lot of them don't even understand the garbage in the bill and they don't even understand what's actually in it.
01:00:00.000 And the tyranny of the minority is real.
01:00:02.000 The left panders to these hyper-vocal minorities to try to make themselves feel good while they are disenfranchising basically the rest of the country.
01:00:12.000 The left is a very stoppable force, but they are a committed force of destruction in our country right now.
01:00:19.000 And boy, if you're not worried after reading and listening to all this, you should be.
01:00:23.000 Because there are some things that should not change.
01:00:25.000 Progress for the sake of progress is a bad idea.
01:00:29.000 There are some things that are bedrock institutions, such as the nuclear family, such as language that has proven to work, such as working hard and playing by the rules.
01:00:38.000 These sorts of things should not change.
01:00:40.000 But the left is focused and committed to fundamentally transforming our country at every single turn.
01:00:45.000 Transforming citizenship, transforming language, transforming our borders, transforming our schools, transforming our gender pronouns.
01:00:53.000 And we here at the Charlie Kirk Show are unearthing and identifying it here every single episode.
