00:01:19.000 There are two visits happening today to the United States southern border.
00:01:24.000 President Donald Trump and Joe Biden are going down to the southern border.
00:01:28.000 Now, Joe Biden selected Brownsville, Texas for his border visit.
00:01:34.000 Brownsville, Texas is one of the sleepier parts of the southern border.
00:01:39.000 In fact, on February 26th, there were zero illegal immigrant encounters in Brownsville, Texas.
00:01:46.000 Donald Trump is going to Eagle Pass, Texas, where on that same day there were 563 illegal immigrant encounters.
00:01:54.000 The Brownsville, Texas corridor, the sector does not have the same sort of traffic, the same sort of overwhelming amount of people that we have seen in Tucson, we've seen in the Hollis, that we've seen in Eagle Pass, the Darien Gap.
00:02:13.000 Now, it is now becoming, and it is, this presidential cycle.
00:02:17.000 They're going to do everything they can to try to shift this and get people's attention off of this.
00:02:21.000 This cycle is becoming the immigration border election.
00:02:30.000 Now, it's possible that it changes, but the fact that Joe Biden is going down to the southern border, he's going down reluctantly.
00:02:37.000 I got to play this piece of tape here of Karine Jean-Pierre.
00:02:40.000 She says, well, you know, it's not about politics.
00:02:42.000 And hey, he visited there last year.
00:02:44.000 I mean, come on, we make one visit to the border a year.
00:02:48.000 Come on, just like, you know, once a year, we go down there.
00:02:51.000 Our country is being invaded.
00:02:53.000 Joe Biden and the Democrats have not allocated even a penny to fix this issue or this problem.
00:03:00.000 Meanwhile, we're sending another $60 billion, $70 billion, and over $300 billion total to Ukraine.
00:03:08.000 Let's play some pieces of tape here.
00:03:10.000 Let's play Cut 92.
00:03:12.000 What does it tell you that both President Biden and Donald Trump are going to be at the border on the same day?
00:03:19.000 Here, there's a difference here, and I want to be very clear about this because the president is going to, as you just said, Brownsville, Texas, to hear directly from the Border Patrol agents, to hear directly from the frontline personnel on what is going on on the ground.
00:03:33.000 And let's not forget the president was at the border just about a year ago in January of 2023 to do the same.
00:03:38.000 This is not about politics for the president.
00:03:41.000 He was there a year ago, everybody.
00:03:42.000 A year ago, Joe Biden was there.
00:03:45.000 She continues, Joe Biden, who has overseen the worst border crisis in American history, will keep on doing what he's been doing to move forward on the issue.
00:03:55.000 Play Cut 93.
00:03:56.000 American people are going to hear directly from President Biden today about what he has done to continue moving forward in dealing with this issue and how Republicans have gotten in the way.
00:04:07.000 How Republicans have gotten in the way.
00:04:10.000 Border Patrol Union Brandon Judd, cut 94, says Border Patrol are so upset about Biden's visit because he's not going to get any location.
00:04:18.000 He's not going to go to any location where he's able to evaluate what he needs to.
00:04:22.000 Joe Biden doesn't care.
00:04:23.000 Joe Biden is a co-sponsor of the cartels.
00:04:26.000 Joe Biden is a cheerleader for what's happening.
00:04:29.000 He doesn't want to stop it.
00:04:30.000 He wants to encourage it.
00:04:32.000 He's now only going because it's starting to hurt him politically.
00:04:35.000 We have never seen a set of polls so bad for Joe Biden.
00:04:39.000 The new Bloomberg Morning Consult polls shows that Donald Trump is up 10 points in Pennsylvania, nine points in Pennsylvania, 10 points in North Carolina, nine points in Arizona, seven points in Nevada, seven points in Georgia, six points in Wisconsin, one point in Michigan.
00:04:55.000 Play cut 94.
00:04:56.000 And the reason why Border Patrol agents are so upset about this visit is because he's not going to any location where he's going to be able to evaluate what he needs to do.
00:05:07.000 What are the policies?
00:05:08.000 What are the programs that need to go into place?
00:05:10.000 And he's not going to be able to do that in Brownsville.
00:05:13.000 If he would have went to San Diego, if he would have went to Tucson, if he would have come out here to Eagle Pass, if he would have went to the trouble locations, he would have been able to get a little bit more understanding and evaluate the situation to come up with it.
00:05:26.000 He's not going to do that.
00:05:27.000 He can't do that.
00:05:28.000 He's not going to any of the places where the actual invasion is occurring.
00:05:32.000 He selected Brownsville, Texas for a purpose, for a reason, as it's sleepy and he'll sit around a couple of Border Patrol.
00:05:39.000 How's it going?
00:05:39.000 Oh, the other day we didn't even see one.
00:05:41.000 Okay, that's great.
00:05:42.000 And his little border drive-by visit will be over.
00:05:46.000 Now, it's important to note that the American people are now prioritizing this as the top issue happening in America.
00:05:54.000 The Brownsville border station, as I mentioned, has only processed 46 illegals in the last five days.
00:06:00.000 The overall Rio Grande Valley sector, which covers 100 miles of the border in the area, has 87,000 encounters recently.
00:06:09.000 Donald Trump recently went to the city of Eagle Pass, a few hundred miles upriver from Biden.
00:06:15.000 Eagle Pass has 2,160 illegals processed in the past five days, 45 times as much as Brownsville.
00:06:23.000 And Brownsville is a far larger city, too.
00:06:25.000 The Del Rio sector that Eagle Pass lies in has 182,000 recent border encounters, more than double the number in the Rio Grande Valley sector.
00:06:36.000 So one president wants to see the real crisis and fix it.
00:06:39.000 One president wants to show something fake and hide the truth.
00:06:44.000 Let's continue here.
00:06:46.000 Brownsville residents blast Joe Biden's visit to the southern border, play cut 101.
00:06:51.000 He's wasting his time.
00:06:54.000 Mr. President, what are you doing here?
00:06:57.000 By a stroke of a pin, you can stop this.
00:07:00.000 You don't need Congress.
00:07:02.000 It feels like it's a day late and a dollar short.
00:07:04.000 I don't know what his purpose is, to be quite honest.
00:07:06.000 We've had this situation for years.
00:07:08.000 He has not shown up.
00:07:09.000 It just seems a little too little too late.
00:07:12.000 Little too little too late.
00:07:14.000 We know with the murder of Lake and Riley, we've seen what's with crime happening across the country.
00:07:20.000 Why is it that Joe Biden is so indifferent to the border crisis issue?
00:07:25.000 It's because the base of the Democrat Party wants the complete destruction of the country as we know it.
00:07:31.000 The only logical explanation is that Joe Biden and the cartel that is running the country, the regime that is currently occupying the White House, they're completely captured by the Chinese Communist Party, the cartels, the deep state.
00:07:44.000 The White House, they understand that their monopoly on the news media is weakening with Twitter, alternative media, Rumble, our podcasting, this program right here.
00:07:58.000 Our ability to get the message out is significantly weakening their propagandizing of the American people.
00:08:06.000 Joe Biden doesn't want to have to go to the border.
00:08:08.000 This is an annoyance to him.
00:08:10.000 Joe Biden would rather go to Ukraine.
00:08:12.000 Joe Biden would rather do something in Europe.
00:08:14.000 The buried lead of this is that forcing Joe Biden to be able to go to the border shows that the relentless messaging that we have been doing on this on social media, on our program, on radio, on television, is that it's starting to get out.
00:08:32.000 And every single state is a border state.
00:08:36.000 Let me say that again.
00:08:37.000 Every single state is a border state.
00:08:41.000 Fentanyl in our communities.
00:08:42.000 We just had the other day Pastor Jensen Franklin on the program, a very popular pastor from the great state of Georgia.
00:08:50.000 He says in the last couple of years, he has done near over 100 funerals recently of young kids that have been killed by fentanyl.
00:08:58.000 And they weren't even taking it necessarily intentionally.
00:09:02.000 You know, another thing that they were trying out at some party or whatever might have been laced with fentanyl.
00:09:07.000 It is killing our country and it is a direct poisoning from the Chinese Communist Party.
00:09:12.000 We highlighted the other day Whitewater, Wisconsin, small town in central Wisconsin, being overrun with illegals.
00:09:19.000 It was typically a lazy university town and now it has 2,000 new illegals.
00:09:25.000 This is happening in every single country across the every single state across the country.
00:09:30.000 And Joe Biden wants it this way.
00:09:33.000 The Democrats, they're thrilled with this.
00:09:35.000 Every day, another thousand, another 2,000, another 3,000 foreigners come into the country.
00:09:40.000 They think they can permanently change the political fabric and makeup of America.
00:09:46.000 There is no other explanation.
00:09:48.000 He could completely seal the border right now and today if he wanted to.
00:09:53.000 But he doesn't want that.
00:09:55.000 Instead, he wants the invasion and the continuation of what is called quote-unquote migration.
00:10:03.000 We know better than that.
00:10:05.000 He wants to just have a nice little photo op in Brownsville and to continue to go back to the White House and oversee the greatest invasion in American history.
00:10:15.000 Hey there, have you taken a good look at the banks lately?
00:10:17.000 On the surface, everything seems fine, but there's a whole lot more going on underneath.
00:10:21.000 It's like looking under the hood of a car and finding a mess of broken wires and parts.
00:10:24.000 The parts are loans for homes, cars, and those credit cards that we all use.
00:10:28.000 And they're hitting record highs.
00:10:30.000 It's kind of scary when you think about it.
00:10:31.000 Why risk your money for a tiny 5% return when things are so shaky?
00:10:35.000 This is where Noble Gold Investments can help.
00:10:37.000 They're like a friend who knows all about keeping your money safe.

00:11:12.000 That is noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:11:17.000 Here's the way the Democrats think.
00:11:20.000 I don't tend to think in this binary terms as far as demographics are always destiny.
00:11:27.000 However, let's look at this.
00:11:29.000 Democrats haven't won the white vote in modern American politics.
00:11:32.000 Trump won whites by 20% in 2016.
00:11:35.000 He won whites by 17% in 2020.
00:11:38.000 Democrats have talked about how we need to destroy whiteness, how white supremacy is the greatest threat to our country.
00:11:44.000 So, if you're the Democrats, what do you think?
00:11:46.000 What do you want?
00:11:46.000 They believe that if you import millions of future voters, you relax chain of custody laws, signature verification standards, fight voter ID in the courts, and send out mass mail and ballots to every home, apartment, and address you can, they think they can dilute white America's influence.
00:12:03.000 And just today, right on queue, a federal judge has now come in and has said it's illegal for Texas to secure their own border.
00:12:16.000 Texas bill making illegal border crossing an arrestable offense blocked by federal judge pending appeal.
00:12:22.000 So, in other words, states have the right to enact sanctuaries for illegals, ignoring federal immigration law, but states don't have the right to enforce immigration law when the federal government ignores them.
00:12:35.000 They're creating a pressure cooker here.
00:12:38.000 The federal government is intentionally creating a pressure cooker.
00:12:42.000 So, you do not have the right as a state to quell or to push back against invasion.
00:12:49.000 Texas is not allowed to arrest illegal or foreigners.
00:12:52.000 And by the way, you know that many of them are going to go on to commit crimes.
00:12:55.000 They're coming across the border.
00:12:56.000 Texas cannot lay hands on them, even though their presence, their entrance into the country, is a felony.
00:13:04.000 They are breaking the law coming across the border.
00:13:08.000 And Greg Abbott has a decision to make.
00:13:10.000 Is he going to honor this federal judge?
00:13:13.000 Now, remember, Joe Biden and the Supreme Court came in and said that Greg Abbott can't put up razor wire.
00:13:20.000 Joe Biden kind of backed down from that whole thing.
00:13:22.000 We were covering that story very closely, and Joe Biden kind of just backed off.
00:13:26.000 We're getting lots of emails, and I totally sympathize with this.
00:13:31.000 This is a very difficult story to cover.
00:13:34.000 And do you know, as I travel and as I speak to people of all different ages, especially great patriots in their 60s and 70s, do you know that the feeling that this border crisis creates more than anything else?
00:13:47.000 Mass demoralization.
00:13:50.000 And demoralization is the goal.
00:13:53.000 You feel so helpless.
00:13:54.000 Texas can't do anything.
00:13:56.000 Arizona won't do anything.
00:13:57.000 New Mexico won't do anything.
00:13:59.000 California won't do anything.
00:14:01.000 Joe Biden and the federal government is allowing them to come in, is co-sponsoring their entrance into the country.
00:14:07.000 They're being flown into the interior.
00:14:09.000 You got wannabe serial killers in Scottsdale.
00:14:11.000 You got people killing college kids in Georgia.
00:14:14.000 They're assaulting police officers in New York.
00:14:17.000 You got nearly almost every single day another illegal with a DUI.
00:14:22.000 You got Venezuelans breaking into homes across the country.
00:14:26.000 And there's nothing you could do about it.
00:14:27.000 The border is this issue that is a reminder, and it feels as if you're losing your country every single day.
00:14:36.000 And some people still think that those crossing the border, it's like Lupita Mignana, and she's coming across with her baby.
00:14:44.000 And there's a little bit of that.
00:14:45.000 These are fighting age males.
00:14:47.000 Not to mention over 120,000 of them are from China.
00:14:52.000 120,000 of them are from China.
00:14:55.000 How many of them are sleeper cells?
00:14:58.000 Do we now have a sleeper cell insurgency network in the homeland of the country, on the interior of the country?
00:15:05.000 It certainly feels that way.
00:15:07.000 It seems that way.
00:15:09.000 Why is Joe Biden visiting the border?
00:15:11.000 He wants to check the box and say, oh, it's all Republicans' fault.
00:15:15.000 The way that immigration has been designed, and Obama changed a lot of this, is immigration policy is now largely centralized in the pen of the executive.
00:15:27.000 The executive can determine the policy based on things he signs, stuff he says.
00:15:33.000 So Donald Trump could fix this in three hours.
00:15:36.000 He becomes president.
00:15:38.000 The border is going to be secure.
00:15:39.000 You reinstitute Remain in Mexico.
00:15:41.000 You call Mexico and you tell them that if you do not fix this within two hours, there's tariffs on everything coming into the country.
00:15:47.000 They will get right into gear.
00:15:49.000 And Trump did a lot of that.
00:15:50.000 It was the most secure border we've had.
00:15:52.000 You finish the wall, you call a national emergency.
00:15:55.000 But the Democrat Party, and the border is the most accurate picture of this.
00:16:01.000 The Democrat Party does not care about the welfare of Native-born Americans.
00:16:05.000 They don't care.
00:16:06.000 Even Eric Adams is calling for a reform of sanctuary city-type policies.
00:16:11.000 It is treason.
00:16:12.000 The Democrat Party does hate the country.
00:16:15.000 They actively have bitterness and contempt for the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.
00:16:21.000 And the border is a perfect example of it.
00:16:23.000 So Joe Biden's going there to try to get the press to stop talking about it.
00:16:27.000 Donald Trump is going to an actual crisis, Eagle Pass, Texas, on the border.
00:16:33.000 It only raises the significance of the upcoming election in November.
00:16:41.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:16:42.000 Primary season means voting our values, and that includes being heard when it comes to standing for life.
00:16:47.000 So yes, our votes should reflect our respect for life.
00:16:50.000 Don't expect it all to be solved by politics, as we've seen so well ever since the fall of Roe.
00:16:56.000 The demand for abortions is higher than ever, and that means there are still girls and women who need the truth as they make a decision for life.
00:17:03.000 For every baby saved from abortion, there's also a mom saved from the pain and regret of not choosing life.
00:17:10.000 Ultrasounds save babies and save moms, and that's what you can do right now.
00:17:15.000 $280 saves 10 babies.
00:17:18.000 $28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.
00:17:21.000 And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.

00:17:42.000 Joining us now is Julie Kelly.
00:17:44.000 Julie, thank you for taking the time.
00:17:45.000 So, Julie, there was some breaking news yesterday about the Supreme Court deciding to take an immunity case.
00:17:51.000 Walk us through it.
00:17:52.000 Yeah, so this is why you see the left and the Andrew Weissmans of the World and Rachel Maddow completely melting down because the Supreme Court did what special counsel Jack Smith asked them to do back in December, which is to consider the rulings from the lower courts in Washington that denied Donald Trump's claims of presidential immunity from criminal prosecution in Jack Smith's January 6, 2020 election case in Washington.
00:18:19.000 So the Supreme Court has agreed to hear the matter and set oral arguments for the week of April 22nd.
00:18:28.000 Now, Charlie, why you see people melting down on social media and MSNBC and CNN is because this will continue to prolong the pretrial calendar for Trump's trial in Washington.
00:18:41.000 The original trial date was March 4th.
00:18:44.000 As the appellate process continued on this unprecedented matter of presidential immunity from criminal prosecution, something that has never been addressed ever by the judicial or legal system in this country, that means that the now suspended March 4th trial date will continue to be pushed, possibly late summer, early fall, meaning, Charlie, that there could be a trial,
00:19:10.000 but likely no conviction in the easy up layup, you know, happy conviction jurisdiction of Washington, D.C.
00:19:18.000 That is what the outrage on the left in Democrats and never Trump Republicans right now is all about.
00:19:24.000 Yeah, and so the, I want to play some of this.
00:19:26.000 And just to reiterate, Julie, you don't think that there will be a trial with these cases before the election just because of a timeline issue.
00:19:36.000 Right.
00:19:37.000 So quickly, the timeline.
00:19:38.000 Oral arguments are the week of April 22nd, even if the Supreme Court comes back at the end of May, which would be a hasty decision.
00:19:46.000 Judge Chutkin has said that she will make sure that the three months that have already been suspended as this appellate process has moved through the system in Washington, those three months will be returned back to the defense and the government.
00:20:01.000 Meaning, if the decision comes down in May, end of May, the Supreme Court upholds the lower court rulings, rejects the idea that a president has immunity from criminal prosecution.
00:20:12.000 That means the trial can't really begin till almost three months later, pushing that to the end of August.
00:20:18.000 More likely, Charlie, is the Supreme Court won't come back until June, which is the conclusion of this current term of the Supreme Court, come back with a ruling in mid-late June.
00:20:29.000 If again, they uphold the lower court's decisions, denying Trump's claims of presidential immunity from criminal prosecution.
00:20:36.000 At the end of June, that pushes the trial all the way to September.
00:20:40.000 Okay, fine.
00:20:41.000 People are early voting.
00:20:42.000 They're still going to have Donald Trump on trial for this four-count indictment, but there's no way this trial can conclude with a verdict before the November election day.
00:20:55.000 They could potentially have Trump in a federal courtroom in the midst of the campaign season.
00:21:01.000 Is that right?
00:21:03.000 Yes, and I'll tell you why.
00:21:04.000 Judge Chutkin has said from the very beginning that the election in politics has no, they have no consideration in her courtroom, that she does not consider Donald Trump anything more than a regular criminal defendant in her courtroom.
00:21:04.000 Two reasons.
00:21:18.000 Number two, Merritt Garland said a few weeks ago when he was questioned by a reporter: you know, usually there's this DOJ rule where the Department of Justice can't do anything political, you know, 60, 90 days between an election, before an election.
00:21:31.000 And Merrick Garland said, look, these two cases, January 6th and Washington, classified documents in Florida, which I will be in that hearing tomorrow, those are out of DOJ's hands.
00:21:42.000 They are both in the hands of the judges in Florida and Washington.
00:21:46.000 The DOJ can't come in now and say, hey, let's put a stop to this trial.
00:21:50.000 So, yes, could Donald Trump be in a Washington courtroom standing trial at the end of September or October as Americans are early voting for president?
00:22:01.000 Absolutely.
00:22:02.000 And this DOJ, neither DOJ nor Judge Chutkin would put a stop to it.
00:22:06.000 Yeah, I mean, that would be the most flagrant election interference in history.
00:22:11.000 If that's the case, then why are the liberals so upset?
00:22:14.000 Wouldn't that fit there?
00:22:15.000 Or that's a little too forced for them.
00:22:18.000 That's too brazen for even the MSNBC intelligentsia.
00:22:22.000 Why are they so upset then?
00:22:24.000 No, no, they would love to have Donald Trump stand trial while people are voting to remind them, you know, of his alleged crimes for January 6th.
00:22:32.000 The reason, Charlie, they really wanted a conviction even before the Republican convention in July, because some polls indicate even Trump voters or independents who are leaning towards Trump, if he was convicted of crimes, that would pull their votes away from Donald Trump.
00:22:51.000 So they really were dependent on a conviction.
00:22:54.000 So now that it looks like a conviction basically is off the table, even if he's standing trial, which of course could backfire because Charlie, as you know, all of these criminal cases against Donald Trump are backfiring on them.
00:23:07.000 I mean, look at what's happening in Fulton County with Georgia, with Fannie Willis.
00:23:11.000 That whole case is imploding.
00:23:12.000 They're all being exposed as corrupt liars and degenerates and, you know, money laundering through taxpayers in Fulton County.
00:23:22.000 So these are all backfiring.
00:23:24.000 They really knew that they could get an easy conviction in Washington where DOJ has a 100% conviction rate in jury trials.
00:23:32.000 Not a single January 6th defendant.
00:23:34.000 Now, two years later, more than 100 trials, not a single January 6th defendant has been fully exonerated, acquitted by a DC jury.
00:23:42.000 They knew that Donald Trump would be convicted in Washington.
00:23:45.000 They wanted to use that against him to pull squishy voters away from him and towards Joe Biden.
00:23:51.000 That looks like there's about a 0.1% chance that'll happen now.
00:23:55.000 Yeah, they are absolutely freaking out.
00:23:57.000 And by the way, that just goes to show, you know, people say, what side is good or evil?
00:24:01.000 The evil side is the one that wants to use the instruments of the Department of Justice to try to interfere with an election.
00:24:08.000 The party of democracy certainly doesn't like clean and fair elections.
00:24:13.000 So let's go to Cut 105 here.
00:24:15.000 This is Jamie Raskin saying we can't put all of our hopes in the Supreme Court.
00:24:20.000 This is really something, play Cut 105.
00:24:23.000 Of our hopes in the Supreme Court, the people need to be engaged and aroused at this point to demand that there be justice, but also to be organizing for the election.
00:24:37.000 Everybody needs to be vigilant.
00:24:39.000 Well, Julie, if it was all about the elect all about justice, why does it have to happen before the election?
00:24:44.000 Right, because, of course, Jamie Raskin and the rest are complete liars.
00:24:49.000 Look, the idea that this case has been foot-dragged by either Donald Trump or the Supreme Court is a complete falsehood, and I'll tell you why.
00:24:59.000 This indictment in January 6th in Washington was brought by Jack Smith on August 1st of 2023.
00:25:05.000 Typically, Charlie, in J6 cases, and as you know, I've covered so many of these court proceedings, it is usually 18 months, 24 months between indictment and trial.
00:25:15.000 You are talking about an unprecedented criminal indictment against a former president and the presumptive GOP nominee for president.
00:25:22.000 And Judge Chutkin fast-tracked this, allowing only seven months between indictment and the March trial.
00:25:29.000 That was mistake number one.
00:25:30.000 Number two, they knew that Donald Trump would be making this motion to dismiss, which he did in October, to dismiss the case on presidential immunity grounds from criminal prosecution.
00:25:41.000 Judge Chutkin, by the way, is the one who waited two months before she issued her order denying his claims of presidential immunity.
00:25:50.000 If anyone is to blame for, first of all, bringing a late indictment, that's Jack Smith.
00:25:54.000 Number two, the judge who has prolonged this process, it's Judge Chutkin.
00:25:59.000 She knew then that this would force an appellate process that would automatically put the pretrial schedule on hold because this is an immunity issue.
00:26:09.000 It can be appealed before a trial or conviction, which is usually not the case.
00:26:14.000 So then what happens?
00:26:16.000 Jack Smith, in what he called his words, extraordinary request, tried to leapfrog over the appellate court, go directly to the Supreme Court and have them take up the matter, preventing Donald Trump from his due process rights, which would be the next natural step going to the DC appellate court, asking them to review Judge Chutkin's order.
00:26:36.000 Jack Smith says, no, We have to get this to trial.
00:26:40.000 We have to keep our trial date.
00:26:42.000 Goes to the Supreme Court December 11th, says, please take up this case.
00:26:46.000 Here's why.
00:26:47.000 It's an extraordinary case, extraordinary request.
00:26:50.000 The Supreme Court comes back December 22nd and says, no, you're going to go through the normal channels.
00:26:55.000 Then the D.C. appellate court says, well, we're going to fast-track this.
00:26:59.000 So they took from the time that Donald Trump filed his appeal to when they held oral arguments was a month.
00:27:05.000 Charlie, usually this process takes months.
00:27:08.000 Not one month, several months.
00:27:10.000 So they fast-tracked it at the appellate court.
00:27:13.000 Then a month later, the three judge panel with two Biden appointees comes back a month later with their 3-0 decision, upholding Judge Chutkin's denial of President Trump's immunity claims.
00:27:24.000 A month later, again, that process usually takes months.
00:27:28.000 So we're talking about this compacted schedule.
00:27:31.000 So anyone saying that the courts or anyone else or Donald Trump is the one trying to prolong this, he has been stripped of his due process rights.
00:27:39.000 He has been stripped of the ability to go through the normal process in Washington.
00:27:45.000 So that is why finally, after the appellate court ruling, the three-judge panel ruling, he went to the Supreme Court, asked for a stay.
00:27:54.000 Jack Smith is the one who went to the Supreme Court and said, Consider his application for a stay, meaning a hold on the appellate court ruling.
00:28:04.000 Consider that a petition for a writ of cert, meaning asking the Supreme Court to take the case, which is precisely what they did yesterday.
00:28:13.000 And now the Supreme Court is sort of fast-tracking it because they are holding oral arguments the week of April 22nd.
00:28:20.000 Think about this, Charlie.
00:28:21.000 And I know this is a lot of timeline, but people really need to get granular, understand the granular timeline here.
00:28:29.000 The week before the Supreme Court will hear the immunity case, they are going to hear the 1512 C2 obstruction of an official proceeding appeal, which you and I have already talked about, the most common, one of the most common felonies in J6 cases.
00:28:42.000 The appellate court handed down their decision in that case in April of 2023.
00:28:48.000 It will be an entire year before the Supreme Court looked at the case, granted cert, and then will hear oral arguments.
00:28:56.000 That is in sharp contrast to the appellate court ruling on February 6th, and now moving it a week after this appeal that began a year earlier.
00:29:09.000 So the outrage that you hear from the Andrew Weissmans, Rachel Maddow, all the cable news heavy breathers saying that this has been slow.
00:29:18.000 This has been a slow, it's the exact opposite.
00:29:21.000 I can't point to a case that's moved faster in Washington in January 6th than Donald Trump's.
00:29:28.000 Hey, everybody, there is an eagerly awaited release of Cabrini in theaters on March 8th, International Woman's Day.
00:29:33.000 It's an amazing film.
00:29:34.000 I saw it the other day.
00:29:36.000 It is incredible.
00:29:37.000 It's like the godfather, but better.
00:29:38.000 From Angel Studios in Alejandro, Monteverde, award-winning director of Sound of Freedom, comes the powerful true story of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who arrives in New York City in 1889 and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children.
00:29:52.000 Cabrini is not merely a movie.
00:29:54.000 It is a tribute to the spirit of women everywhere.
00:29:56.000 It tells the story of a trailblazer, a visionary whose tireless dedication to serving others transcend boundaries and inspire generations.
00:30:03.000 On this International Woman's Day, we can honor Cabrini's enduring legacy by celebrating the countless contributions of women throughout history.
00:30:11.000 Mark your calendars for March 8th and join me in theaters to experience the extraordinary journey of Mother Cabrini, a celebration of courage, compassion, and the triumph of the human spirit.
00:30:23.000 Let's play cut 107 here.
00:30:25.000 The legal intelligentsia is losing their mind.
00:30:27.000 Play cut 107.
00:30:30.000 Is there any legal reasoning that I'm missing on why this case is delayed and why this, you know, and why the Supreme Court seems to be slow walking this a little bit?
00:30:42.000 Elise, it is maddening because the Supreme Court knows that there's a consequential election in November, yet they showed no urgency in setting the date of oral argument for April 22nd.
00:30:53.000 Now, a more cynical view to answer your question is to interpret the Supreme Court decision as a nefarious act of putting their thumb on the scale to benefit their favorite candidate.
00:31:02.000 I'm not sure I want to go that far, but it's disturbing.
00:31:06.000 I hope everyone understands this.
00:31:08.000 Their equation had baked into it a federal Trump conviction.
00:31:14.000 Julie Kelly.
00:31:15.000 Well, first of all, Elise Jordan is an idiot.
00:31:18.000 She always has been an idiot.
00:31:19.000 She claims to be a former Republican, and she has no idea what she's talking about.
00:31:24.000 If she had to debate me right now about the timeline, she would cry because she doesn't know what she's talking about as a typical leftist.
00:31:31.000 So, yes, they were baking that in that Donald Trump would be convicted.
00:31:35.000 Now, here's what's interesting, Charlie.
00:31:37.000 I will be in the Florida courtroom tomorrow in the classified documents case.
00:31:41.000 This is the case that they leapfrogged over to try to get the trial in Washington before the classified documents.
00:31:48.000 One, because number one, he'll won't have as friendly of a jury.
00:31:51.000 Donald Trump will have a friendlier jury pool in southern Florida, of course, than he would have in Washington, D.C.
00:31:57.000 And number two, Judge Eileen Cannon is not acting like the rubber stamp for the DOJ and Jack Smith that all of the judges in Washington, D.C. do.
00:32:06.000 So, tomorrow will be a very contentious hearing on the classified documents case.
00:32:11.000 She has a May 20th trial date set.
00:32:14.000 That probably will be vacated as well because of everything going on there.
00:32:18.000 But let's say she comes back and she sets a trial date for July, says we'll be ready to go to trial in July.
00:32:25.000 Are these same people going to say, oh, this is great?
00:32:28.000 Okay, well, we have due process at least in Florida.
00:32:31.000 And she's moving forward to putting the most dangerous case, sharing special, sensitive nuclear secrets with our enemies, blah, blah, blah.
00:32:42.000 So I'll be anxious to see if Judge Cannon sets another trial date for this summer.
00:32:47.000 Will these same individuals say, well, okay, this is good.
00:32:50.000 Will they finally commend Judge Cannon and stop vilifying her?
00:32:55.000 So I think we're going to see some whiplash pretty quickly.
00:32:59.000 I think you're right.
00:33:00.000 Let's play cut 106.
00:33:02.000 It's Chris Hayes.
00:33:03.000 He's freaking out.
00:33:04.000 Play cut 106.
00:33:06.000 It is an unmistakable sign from the MAGA majority of the Trump-created court that they are with him, that they are going to use their power to make sure he does not face trial in an election year for attempting to end American democracy.
00:33:23.000 The point was never to win on the merits.
00:33:27.000 The point was to make a time-consuming Hail Mary pass to attempt to escape accountability.
00:33:32.000 The hundreds of millions of us might be robbed of the information we need to determine whether the man is guilty of the gravest crime any politician has been accused of since the Civil War.
00:33:44.000 Today, the court signaled they are in cahoots, that the plot is on.
00:33:49.000 It's a go.
00:33:52.000 About a minute remaining.
00:33:53.000 Final reaction, Julie.
00:33:55.000 They're just completely unhinged.
00:33:57.000 They're lying.
00:33:57.000 They're gaslighting their viewers.
00:33:59.000 And look, there's a chance the Supreme Court will come back and uphold what we said, the lower court rulings, and deny presidential immunity from criminal prosecution.
00:34:08.000 So what will lunatics like Chris Hayes and Elise Jordan say then?
00:34:13.000 So it, but for now, everyone should just enjoy their torment because it's very rare that we get what is viewed a win and all the heads exploding on MSNBC and elsewhere.
00:34:25.000 So let's relish this moment because I'm certainly gratified by it.
00:34:29.000 Julie, great work.
00:34:30.000 Talk to you soon.
00:34:31.000 Thanks so much.
00:34:32.000 Thanks, Charlie.
