00:00:36.000 Here we go.

00:00:37.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:39.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:41.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:45.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:48.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:49.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:50.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:00:58.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:07.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:10.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:19.000 You were just talking about how we're going to be at our Turning Point USA Student Action Summit next week in Tampa, Florida.

00:01:25.000 Real America's Voice is going to have a big presence there.

00:01:28.000 And if you are anywhere in the Southeast, well, actually, if you're anywhere in the country, you should really consider coming.

00:01:33.000 It's going to be one of the most amazing events of the year.

00:01:36.000 We have phenomenal speakers already confirmed.

00:01:39.000 And so we have from Turning Point Action, we have Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis that will be there.

00:01:45.000 And then Turning Point USA, we have Kaylee McEnany, Ted Cruz, Laura Ingram, Josh Hawley, Greg Gutfeld, Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Kat Timf, Pete Hegseth, Congressman Byron Donalds, Ben Carson, Senator Rick Scott, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert,

00:02:01.000 Governor Kevin Stitt, Congresswoman Kat Kamick, Congressman Matt Gates, Jack Pesobic, Benny Johnson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Dave Rubin, Victor Marks, Sean Foyt, and a group of great pastors as well, David Engelhart, Mark Burns, Samuel Duth, and Rob McCoy, all at our Turning Point USA Student Action Summit.

00:02:20.000 And people of all ages are able to come.

00:02:22.000 It's a student-focused event, but all ages, I encourage you to be there.

00:02:26.000 If you live in Florida, if you're driving distance to Tampa, it will invigorate you.

00:02:30.000 It's a non-stop immersion event in freedom.

00:02:33.000 We're going to be doing our show from Tampa, Florida on Friday.

00:02:37.000 And then we're going to have Ron DeSantis that evening, Donald Trump on Saturday night.

00:02:42.000 And it's just part of this growing movement that we have at Turning Point USA of high school chapters, of college chapters that are rising up.

00:02:51.000 And this is something I want to touch on, but there is this citizen-led movement in our country that is very promising.

00:03:00.000 Someone sent us an email yesterday, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:03:04.000 They said, Charlie, the only thing that's different with all the globalist aims and ambitions is that the more they push, the more the people are awakened.

00:03:12.000 And that is exactly right.

00:03:14.000 We need no more milquetoast, vanilla, moderate, middle-of-the-road type posture.

00:03:21.000 We need bold and decisive action.

00:03:24.000 And we're seeing it all across the country.

00:03:26.000 We're seeing it in countries like the Netherlands.

00:03:29.000 We just saw a massive victory happened in France, by the way.

00:03:32.000 We'll talk about that, how the French parliament met and basically got rid of vaccine passports and got rid of COVID testing to get into the French government.

00:03:41.000 We're starting to see this happen in every corner of the country in a very profound and major and significant way.

00:03:49.000 And that's all going to kind of be culminating at our Turning Point USA Student Action Summit.

00:03:53.000 There's still some tickets remaining.

00:03:55.000 It's tpusa.com/slash SAS.

00:03:57.000 You could use promo code LIBERTY to get a discount on it.

00:04:02.000 5,000-plus students will be there from all across America.

00:04:05.000 And I know a lot of you say, Oh, Charlie, why should I have hope?

00:04:08.000 You know, I need some hope.

00:04:10.000 You want to get hope?

00:04:11.000 You come to Tampa and check it out right now.

00:04:14.000 We are going to lead today with an unfortunate vindication of what we saw in Uvalde.

00:04:23.000 What is toxic masculinity? 0.59

00:04:26.000 For years, the radical left and what we have seen on college campuses, they have been pushing for this idea that we must destroy toxic masculinity.

00:04:38.000 That masculinity itself is something that we must deconstruct.

00:04:42.000 That the reason we have high crime, the reason we have widespread chaos, the reason we have all the suffering is because of men and masculinity.

00:04:51.000 As taught in most schools, it says the following: quote, toxic masculinity involves cultural pressures for men to behave in a certain way.

00:04:59.000 And it's likely this affects all boys and men in some fashion.

00:05:03.000 Toxic masculinity refers to the notion that some people's ideas of manliness perpetuate domination, homophobia, and aggression.

00:05:17.000 The idea of toxic masculinity is this idea that men trying to use their strength to protect people that are not as strong is inherently wrong.

00:05:26.000 As if the idea of a man is someone who's out of control, belligerent and dominating, not someone who is prudent and looking after protecting the innocent.

00:05:35.000 Now, this whole idea of toxic masculinity is pushed by a group of college academics who they themselves want to try to feminize the country.

00:05:44.000 There's been a lot of great scholarship on this in the last couple of decades.

00:05:49.000 Now, there have been a combination of these cultural and political influences over the last couple of decades.

00:05:55.000 And unfortunately, it has real-life consequences.

00:05:58.000 Now, we need to break free of the tempting paradigm.

00:06:02.000 I mean, tempting, it's very alluring to try to just all of a sudden put on our team right jersey and say we must defend everything that the left hates at all times, no matter the circumstances.

00:06:15.000 Now, let me preface this by saying, I'm very pro-police, and I know you are too.

00:06:20.000 Our police are heroes, they do a wonderful job.

00:06:23.000 A country without police, defunding the police is the dumbest idea ever, and we cannot tolerate it.

00:06:29.000 But we as conservatives should not get into the business of defending cowardly, immoral, inappropriate behavior just because that just because that person is a cop. 0.79

00:06:40.000 You need to be pro-facts, you need to be pro-truth.

00:06:43.000 You need to understand the circumstances.

00:06:44.000 Motivations matter.

00:06:46.000 Period.

00:06:47.000 Now, some conservatives say, Charlie, you can't criticize the police under any circumstances whatsoever.

00:06:54.000 So, the tragic shooting happened in Uvalde, Texas, when 21 children were slaughtered.

00:06:59.000 We went on this program and we were rather forceful.

00:07:03.000 We called the cops cowards.

00:07:04.000 We blamed the long delay time.

00:07:07.000 And many of you had our back, and thank you for that.

00:07:10.000 However, we had a lot of people that emailed us freedom at charliekirk.com and said, Charlie, the police did a wonderful job.

00:07:17.000 I can't stand your program.

00:07:18.000 How dare you attack the police?

00:07:20.000 We had many of our listeners say automatically the police are heroes for what they did in Uvalde because they've been trained like Pavlovian dogs.

00:07:30.000 Oh, conflict, the police must be in the right.

00:07:33.000 By the way, generally, that's true.

00:07:35.000 Generally, the media tries to stoke too much emotion.

00:07:38.000 Generally, the media does have an anti-cop campaign.

00:07:42.000 The recent revelations, what we have seen in the last couple of hours, only further vindicates our original argument where we said that this, and it's not too, it's not a bridge too far to say this, that if the cops would have acted, it could have been a situation where one or two children might have tragically died, or zero children might have died.

00:08:09.000 New images have been leaked from the Uvalde police situation.

00:08:14.000 And it all ties to this idea of the left trying to attack masculinity because what we saw were men in air quotes who call themselves men that acted like chickens, cowards, whatever word you want to put.

00:08:29.000 Now, I'm going to talk about some of the cultural factors that play into this.

00:08:34.000 Maybe they were afraid of being sued as a police officer and all this.

00:08:40.000 None of that is an excuse.

00:08:41.000 We'll talk about part of it.

00:08:43.000 We'll talk about how the war on police might have played into their paralysis.

00:08:47.000 We'll talk about some of it, to be fair, but let's be honest.

00:08:53.000 The new revelations are so shocking, they are as follows.

00:08:57.000 And by the way, it's a fact.

00:08:58.000 It's an arguable fact.

00:08:59.000 It's not an opinion.

00:09:00.000 I know a lot of you emailed us freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:09:04.000 You said, Charlie, Uvalde police are perfect.

00:09:06.000 How dare you touch them?

00:09:08.000 Got a lot of those emails.

00:09:09.000 Disturbing new footage shows Salvador Ramos, the shooter, roam the Uvalde school hallways and cops running away from gunshots.

00:09:18.000 New video shows.

00:09:20.000 Cops responding to the Uvalde, Texas shooting, ran away from gunshots while 19 children and two teachers were left to die in their classrooms, according to the New York Post.

00:09:28.000 The disturbing new video obtained by the Austin American statesman shows how police officers dilly-dallied in the hallway of the Robb Elementary School instead of charging towards 18-year-old gunman Ramos as he systematically slaughtered 21 people on May 24th.

00:09:42.000 The cops let it happen.

00:09:43.000 By the way, we said that on the original broadcast, and many people didn't believe us.

00:09:48.000 They said, Charlie, cops wouldn't sit idly by when children get slaughtered.

00:09:52.000 No, they would.

00:09:53.000 And they did.

00:09:55.000 The 77-minute clip shows officers rushing into the school just minutes.

00:10:00.000 So this was the hour delay was of their own making after the 18-year-old Ramos began his rampage.

00:10:07.000 But rather than confront him, they stopped and lingered with one cop in a helmet and a vest who, while the children are being slaughtered, checked his cell phone and went to go get hand sanitizer.

00:10:24.000 So at least he wasn't going to catch germs while children are being slaughtered.

00:10:32.000 And he has a helmet and a vest on.

00:10:35.000 The officers are also captured fleeing down the hallway, fleeing down the hallway when Ramos fires in their direction.

00:10:41.000 By the way, these are armed officers.

00:10:44.000 So they're getting fired at and they just run away.

00:10:47.000 The video validates reports that local and state authorities failed to take immediate action to stop the bloodbath despite just yards from the shooter.

00:10:58.000 Picture after picture shows officers on their phones, potentially scrolling through social media.

00:11:04.000 We don't know what they're doing on their phones, but it was minutes where they were just kind of flipping through their phone.

00:11:09.000 Maybe they were doing a TikTok video while kids were being slaughtered.

00:11:13.000 I don't know.

00:11:15.000 It's not until 77 minutes into the recording that the cops finally breached the classroom where Ramos, who died in the attack, had gunned down the innocent kids and teachers.

00:11:23.000 It is conceivable, we don't know this for sure, that if the cops would have acted with precision and action and courage, it would not have been a 21-child slaughter.

00:11:34.000 We don't know how many.

00:11:35.000 It's impossible to know.

00:11:37.000 But if they would have acted within minutes, I don't think 21 kids would have died.

00:11:46.000 And who is the mayor mad at of Uvalde?

00:11:49.000 This is such a typical politician move.

00:11:51.000 Who's the mayor mad at?

00:11:52.000 He's mad that this footage and these pictures have leaked.

00:11:56.000 How dare you leak the fact that our police officers were flipping through social media and getting hand sanitizer while children are getting slaughtered.

00:12:03.000 How dare you leak those images?

00:12:06.000 And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad that the serpent left-wing activist media got their hands on these images.

00:12:13.000 I'm glad. 0.92

00:12:15.000 Because cowards, regardless of their profession, I don't care if they're cops. 0.99

00:12:19.000 I don't care if they're teachers. 0.99

00:12:21.000 I don't care.

00:12:21.000 And you shouldn't either, by the way.

00:12:23.000 And yes, the war on police play a role and the BLM stuff plays a role and the toxic masculinity stuff all plays a role, but enough.

00:12:31.000 Who are you as a human being who sits on your phone and gets hand sanitizer while children get slaughtered?

00:12:41.000 The Uvalde police officers could have shot the gunman, but then they waited for the supervisor's approval. 0.92

00:12:48.000 And then the Uvalde mayor, this slob who calls himself a politician, who should resign in disgrace, he says, well, I dispute the report that officers had an early chance to shoot the gunman. 0.87

00:13:01.000 The video is very clear. 0.96

00:13:01.000 Just lying. 0.96

00:13:02.000 77 minutes of police officers flipping through their phone and getting hand sanitizer.

00:13:08.000 What does that say for where we are as a country?

00:13:13.000 Look, we talk about current events a lot on this show, but there's other things that are in life that are bigger than current events, bigger things.

00:13:18.000 We try to do some shows every so often on these things.

00:13:22.000 But look, what am I talking about when I say that?

00:13:24.000 How about good and evil?

00:13:25.000 Right and wrong, prayer and the Bible or heaven and hell.

00:13:28.000 So look, the great C.S. Lewis, who's one of the most amazing minds ever to exist, was a master at addressing these questions.

00:13:37.000 And that is why Hillsdale College, the great college, the only college, in my opinion, wants you to learn more about him and his writings and their newest free online course, C.S. Lewis on Christianity.

00:13:49.000 And it all starts with taking a short quiz to find out how much you already know about Lewis.

00:13:54.000 He wrote more than the Narnia series, by the way.

00:13:57.000 Look, Hillsdale College is amazing.

00:13:59.000 They defend liberty.

00:14:00.000 They pursue truth.

00:14:01.000 They do a great job.

00:14:03.000 So just write this down.

00:14:04.000 This should be your go-to resource.

00:14:05.000 Remember, I have taken 16 of their online courses, and I have promised Dr. Arne I'm eventually going to finish them all.

00:14:12.000 Go to charlie4hillsdale.com to take this fun, interactive quiz, and then sign up for this free course.

00:14:17.000 The answers may even surprise you, even if you think you know everything about C.S. Lewis.

00:14:21.000 They surprised me, my goodness.

00:14:23.000 The quiz, the course, and everything you learn at Hillsdale College are yours for free, as always.

00:14:27.000 So take the C.S. Lewis quiz, charlie4hillsdale.com.

00:14:31.000 That is charlie4hillsdale.com.

00:14:33.000 Take as many online courses as you can.

00:14:35.000 The Constitution course is amazing, but their C.S. Lewis course is extraordinary.

00:14:41.000 And by the way, Hillsdale College, just phenomenal.

00:14:45.000 Charlie4Hillsdale.com.

00:14:49.000 This is a police officer responding to the Uvalde shooting scene casually using hand sanitizer during the massacre.

00:14:56.000 It's cut 42.

00:14:58.000 21 kids are dead, but at least his hands are free of COVID.

00:15:02.000 I want to read one of the emails we responded to, and I'm focusing on this for a couple of reasons.

00:15:06.000 Number one, we need to hold these people accountable.

00:15:10.000 But number two, I think it's important because the way some of the conservative movement responded to this was very telling to me.

00:15:19.000 And I don't want us to get into the same sort of muscle memory.

00:15:24.000 We have to defend all the aspects of quote unquote our team as the left gets into.

00:15:29.000 And so, for example, some people said I was rushing to judgment when I went after the Uvalde police when we did.

00:15:36.000 There is plenty of information for us to make the argument we did when we did it.

00:15:39.000 We did not speculate.

00:15:41.000 We weren't taking a risk.

00:15:42.000 We weren't going out and guessing.

00:15:44.000 It was all there.

00:15:46.000 It just so happened that more and more evidence has come that has doubled and tripled and quadrupled.

00:15:50.000 And quintuply proved our point.

00:15:52.000 For example, we got this email from one of our listeners.

00:15:55.000 Charlie, I have followed you for a long time.

00:15:57.000 I can't believe how judgmental you were today towards the police officers in Uvalde, Texas.

00:16:02.000 You are not there, and for you to say such is deplorable.

00:16:04.000 Shame on you.

00:16:05.000 I have no words.

00:16:08.000 We have one email after the other.

00:16:11.000 Charlie, you need to check your facts.

00:16:14.000 These guys acted just fine.

00:16:15.000 How dare you attack police officers?

00:16:19.000 And I'm only bringing these up because I think that we as conservatives must be understanding of the nuance of all situations.

00:16:28.000 But if you are automatically defending an entity, an organization out of immediate impulse, that is not a winning political movement.

00:16:40.000 It's not.

00:16:42.000 Now, generally, the police act wonderfully.

00:16:45.000 I'd say 99% of the time.

00:16:47.000 I think that the anti-cop narrative might have played into some of their inaction, but I don't take it as an excuse, and you shouldn't either.

00:16:54.000 You're trying to tell me that it's because of all the anti-cop rhetoric that the guy was like, well, I got to flip through my phone and get hand sanitizer.

00:17:03.000 Okay, anti-cop narrative.

00:17:06.000 There's one good email here, and it's actually a very fair point.

00:17:08.000 I'll be very honest.

00:17:09.000 This is a good point.

00:17:11.000 They said this, Charlie, I think the cops acted inappropriately, but we must understand they were afraid that maybe they would have gone to jail for wrong firearm discharge and all this.

00:17:21.000 I totally agree.

00:17:22.000 Do it anyway.

00:17:24.000 So what?

00:17:26.000 You're right.

00:17:27.000 You might be castigated. 0.98

00:17:29.000 You might get shot. 1.00

00:17:29.000 You might die. 1.00

00:17:31.000 Part of the job as a law enforcement officer and a cop, and many of them are far more courageous than I am.

00:17:39.000 Of course, they go into this every single day, is that they go straight into the line of fire and they're willing to put their life on the line.

00:17:45.000 And part of that social contract is then we as taxpayers will make an obligation for pension benefits and healthcare benefits and support them.

00:17:54.000 And we should, by the way, that's why we celebrate them.

00:17:57.000 And what angers me so much, and what should anger you is this gives a bad name for police officers all across the country.

00:18:03.000 And I'm not doing that.

00:18:04.000 I'm not going to do what the left does, which is, oh, all police, all this.

00:18:08.000 That's nonsense.

00:18:09.000 But I'll read another email back from the Uvalde situation.

00:18:12.000 Charlie, I'm very disappointed in your inaction, your action on the Uvalde episode.

00:18:17.000 Your commentary was nauseating.

00:18:19.000 You admitted you didn't have all the facts.

00:18:20.000 Well, no, I said we didn't have, you're right.

00:18:22.000 I had most of the facts, but turns out we were right.

00:18:25.000 Yet you judged and crucified officers who were dealing with the toughest decisions of their lives without having all the facts.

00:18:32.000 I was an extremely loyal listener listening to every single episode.

00:18:36.000 I can no longer support you or your endeavors.

00:18:38.000 I'm a first responder wife and formerly first responded.

00:18:41.000 I hope they'll reconsider.

00:18:42.000 I've said angry emails in my life before that I regret, but what does that say about our movement?

00:18:47.000 That you attack the host that just looks at the facts.

00:18:52.000 So let's look at it ourselves.

00:18:55.000 Let's play cut 51, which is the officers intentionally run toward the classroom where the kids are, but once they hear the gunfire, they run away.

00:19:08.000 So as soon as the cops hear gunfire, they run away from the shooter.

00:19:12.000 What we did not know up until this latest leak is that the cops were in the building before they went into the classroom, before this maniac went in the classroom.

00:19:21.000 They very well could have neutralized him before he killed a single kid.

00:19:24.000 That might be an oversimplification.

00:19:26.000 Sure doesn't seem that way.

00:19:29.000 This is a wild clip that you're about to watch.

00:19:32.000 Officers running away from the conflict.

00:19:35.000 And not just one, all of them.

00:19:39.000 Play cut 51.

00:19:53.000 Cops running away from the shooter as it's there.

00:20:00.000 The recent rulings from the Supreme Court didn't happen on their own.

00:21:00.000 Here's one of the emails. 0.99

00:21:02.000 Mr. Kirk, you're irresponsible, incompetent, and objectively foolish, as in the absence of wisdom, diatribe today, about law enforcement delaying entry into the Uvalde school is no better than Obama's reaction airy idiocy when he was president. 0.99

00:21:16.000 By the way, we have tons of these when I did this. 1.00

00:21:19.000 Do not throw away the credibility you've built.

00:21:22.000 Wait and get the facts.

00:21:23.000 Well, we did.

00:21:24.000 Actually, wait till we had the facts.

00:21:27.000 Unfortunately, the facts were the additional facts on top of what we already knew was even worse than we could have possibly imagined.

00:21:36.000 Now, I want to be very clear.

00:21:37.000 Our position here at its core is very conservative in these terms.

00:21:42.000 We're pro-Second Amendment, and we want people to be self-sufficient, and we want people to be able to protect their families.

00:21:51.000 We're very pro-police.

00:21:52.000 We're pro-rule of law.

00:21:53.000 And you know what really bothers me?

00:21:55.000 We got one email here, freedom at charliekirk.com, where he said, listen, Charlie, I am a skilled tactical officer, a veteran.

00:22:07.000 He said, I would never allow children to perish on my watch 77 minutes when something like that happened.

00:22:16.000 And that's what bothers me is that this gives a bad name to the other heroes that do daily amazing work.

00:22:26.000 But it does beg the question that is worthy of explanation about what was the psychological conditions that created this.

00:22:37.000 Now, I believe, and I know this is a harsh thing, and you might disagree with me, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:22:43.000 I believe every single one of the police officers that were in on this should face criminal charges.

00:22:48.000 I do.

00:22:49.000 Now, some of you say, well, Charlie, they were just following orders.

00:22:54.000 I buy that for 15 or 20 minutes.

00:22:57.000 I would like to believe, and maybe I'm not that person, but here's what I'll say.

00:23:03.000 I won't involve myself in this.

00:23:05.000 The heroes that I know, that I have met, that stormed the beaches in Normandy and ran into the towers of 9-11 and barely survived before they collapsed, just following orders, I don't think is a sufficient explanation or excuse when you hear the screams of children being murdered for 77 minutes.

00:23:29.000 Just following orders is an excuse that is given by the century guards of totalitarian governments in every corner of the planet.

00:23:41.000 I was just following orders to get people on the train.

00:23:46.000 I was just following orders.

00:23:49.000 Now, here's the tragedy of this.

00:23:52.000 And I'm not saying they deserve this.

00:23:53.000 I think they some of the police officers who did this, who let the children get slaughtered when they were flipping through their phones or getting hand sanitizer, you're going to see a lot of them commit suicide, tragically.

00:24:07.000 You're going to see a lot of problems in their marriages, a lot of psychological trauma.

00:24:12.000 And some of them for the rest of their life are going to have to work through that if they don't kill themselves.

00:24:16.000 I don't want them to do that, but it's just, unfortunately, after these mass traumatic events, you do see a lot of that happen.

00:24:22.000 It's tragic.

00:24:23.000 It's terrible.

00:24:23.000 I don't wish that upon them.

00:24:25.000 The oath that they swore, though, is this.

00:24:27.000 It's the law enforcement oath.

00:24:29.000 On my honor, I will never betray my integrity, my character, or the public trust.

00:24:35.000 I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions.

00:24:41.000 I will always maintain the highest ethical standards and uphold the values of my community and the agency that I serve.

00:24:49.000 That's the law enforcement oath. 0.75

00:24:53.000 The country that I grew up in and that many of you remember before the war on toxic master, the toxic masculinity, the war on police, before BLM, before these stupid smartphones, the country that many of you remember was the country that stormed the cockpit of Flight 93. 0.91

00:25:16.000 The country that ran into the two towers, civilians, regular people. 0.81

00:25:22.000 77 minutes of paralysis as this was happening.

00:25:27.000 So I believe these police officers need to be held criminally accountable, especially the people giving the orders.

00:25:34.000 You could chalk it up to criminal negligence, to something even more severe than that.

00:25:40.000 I'm not a prosecutor and I don't play one on TV.

00:25:43.000 We'll play Cut 62.

00:25:44.000 I think this clip has sound.

00:25:46.000 For you on television, you'll be able to see it.

00:25:48.000 This is the shooter walking in the hallway, and a child sees him and runs away.

00:25:53.000 I don't know if this is before or after the police officers running away from them, but play Cut 62.

00:26:06.000 Kids coming around the corner, shots fired.

00:26:08.000 What we didn't know up until recently is the cops were just steps away.

00:26:14.000 So what was the psychological reason this all happened?

00:26:18.000 It's easy to blame it on cowardice, and I definitely think that's part of it.

00:26:24.000 But the reason I'm spending as much time as I am on this is let's use this as a nationwide teaching moment for all of us to understand the power of conformity.

00:26:38.000 You see, courageous people that think independently are able to break free of conforming mass psychosis and act appropriately.

00:26:48.000 So there was a very famous psychological test called the Ash Conformity Test, ASCH.

00:26:56.000 It was part of what was called the Ash Conformity Experiments.

00:27:00.000 It was conducted by a guy by the name of Solomon Ash.

00:27:04.000 These experiments reveal the degree to which one person's own opinions and actions are influenced by those of a group.

00:27:14.000 So basically what they would do is they would show three different lines, one that was noticeably and inarguably longer than the other.

00:27:23.000 So, they would have basically a group of students, let's say 10 students that were all in on it.

00:27:29.000 And then they would have an 11th student who was not in on it.

00:27:32.000 And the 11th student would enter into the classroom.

00:27:34.000 The 10 students would all then be asked the question: hey, which line is the longest line?

00:27:42.000 And the 10 students before the 11th student would all pick the second longest line, not the longest line.

00:27:48.000 And so, one after the other would intentionally being in on the experiment make it seem as if they were picking a line that was not correct.

00:28:00.000 What was extraordinary is that over 80% of the time, either 70 or 80% of the time, I could look into the actual documents that Solomon Ash published, the 11th person would then go against their own instinctive, let's say, gut reaction, and they would go with the 105%.

00:28:21.000 Okay, 75%.

00:28:22.000 That's right.

00:28:23.000 My memory was right.

00:28:25.000 Would go with the 10 prior people that would pick the not as long line.

00:28:31.000 Now, we all know that B is the longest line, for example.

00:28:34.000 But what was so amazing about the Ash conformity test, and it's been replicated across the world in different cultures, different backgrounds, different ages, different demographics with controls and all of that, and it works almost every time scientifically, right around 75%, is that you're looking right now at the thing on the screen, the measurement on the screen, is that we all know B is the longest line, but everyone would say that A is the longest line.

00:28:59.000 And 75% of people would then go along with what was said prior just because the other 10 people said what they knew was not true.

00:29:07.000 They did not believe their lying eyes.

00:29:10.000 And what we saw in Uvalde is a tragic and instantaneous example of mass conformity. 0.92

00:29:21.000 The ash conformity experiments showed that even someone who's an independent free thinker, someone who is very smart, someone who might know what to do, who's courageous, might be succumbed to a different pattern of behavior. 0.96

00:29:42.000 And so, this is a good lesson for all of us, myself included. 0.98

00:29:46.000 God forbid you ever have to be in a situation where the shots are firing.

00:29:52.000 But when they are, are we going to conform?

00:29:57.000 Are you going to conform to the next thing?

00:30:01.000 And I don't think it's disconnected to say that the conformity of cowardice that we saw in Uvalde for 77 minutes is directly connected with some of the mass formation psychosis that we have seen over the last couple of years. 0.54

00:30:15.000 Put a black square in your Instagram to fight systemic racism.

00:30:18.000 Okay. 0.96

00:30:20.000 Send $57 billion to Ukraine.

00:30:22.000 Okay.

00:30:24.000 Go wear a mask while you shower.

00:30:26.000 Okay.

00:30:28.000 Vaccine mandates for children.

00:30:30.000 Okay.

00:30:31.000 15 days the slowest spread.

00:30:33.000 Okay.

00:30:34.000 Is it too far to say, and I don't think it is, but you might disagree, that we have created a paralysis of conformity where people know that the children are being slaughtered and they go to their only defense mechanism.

00:30:50.000 They take out the digital pacifier.

00:30:53.000 They take out their phone.

00:30:54.000 What else are they supposed to do?

00:30:56.000 And all of this is related with our relentless war on men in our country and toxic masculinity.

00:31:05.000 How many other examples are happening while this one is one that we should focus on?

00:31:15.000 Because I think that it is a microcosm of a macro sickness.

00:31:22.000 I think it is a microcosm of something that's happening almost every single day.

00:31:28.000 How many times, maybe in a less, let's just say a less compressed example, are we seeing evil happen around us and we check our phone or we go to get hand sanitizer?

00:31:44.000 How often are we seeing, and again, it's not as graphic or as tragic as 21 kids being slaughtered in front of us, but it'd be happening in slow motion around us.

00:31:55.000 Or is it now the generational perspective of that's not my problem?

00:32:02.000 You mix conformity with cowardice.

00:32:04.000 Deep down, some of those police might have said, well, those aren't my kids.

00:32:07.000 I don't care.

00:32:10.000 They're going to have to have an explanation and to hold themselves, they're going to be held accountable, hopefully for the rest of their life.

00:32:18.000 What the celebrities tell us is right or what to do, people conform to almost instantaneously.

00:32:27.000 And I just want to say this: most cops are wonderful.

00:32:29.000 They're fabulous.

00:32:32.000 But you must hold accountable of which the things you love.

00:32:37.000 I'm not going to tolerate, as an American, and you shouldn't either, a law enforcement officer who goes to get hand sanitizer and checks his phone while children are being slaughtered.

00:32:51.000 There's something deeper going on here: spiritual sickness, a moral weakness, a lack of action.

00:32:58.000 We can all learn from it.

00:33:00.000 We have to identify it.

00:33:01.000 We have to go about solving it. 0.72

00:33:03.000 I asked the question earlier this week: are we ready for a war with China?

00:33:10.000 Before we're even ready to answer that question, let's ask ourselves the question: are we willing to storm a classroom to save 21 kids from being slaughtered? 0.67

00:33:19.000 Or are we too busy getting hand sanitizer and looking through our phones?

00:33:27.000 Look, as you know, our friend Mike Lindell has amazing passion and especially has a passion to help everyone get the best sleep of their life.

00:34:13.000 The more confusion we have about what a man is and what a woman is, do not be surprised when you start to see men be cowards, confused, and unable to act in a way to defend the beautiful, the weak, the good, or the innocent.

00:34:32.000 You could tell a lot about a society on whether or not they are willing to put their lives or their reputations on the line to defend those that cannot defend themselves.

00:34:43.000 Somebody asked me a question once when I was at University of California, Berkeley, and they said, Charlie, why is abortion wrong?

00:34:50.000 And they were very pro-abortion.

00:34:51.000 We are more developed.

00:34:53.000 Why shouldn't we be able to terminate the fetus? 0.99

00:34:56.000 And I said, because in any functioning moral framework, the strong must protect the weak.

00:35:06.000 What did Jesus say?

00:35:07.000 Greater love knows, there's no greater love known than this than those who are willing to lay down their life for their friends or for those around them, to the original Koigne Greek.

00:35:20.000 Were those what moral paradigm were those cops operating from?

00:35:26.000 Yep, cowardice, of course.

00:35:28.000 But they were caring more about self-preservation, maybe living up to get their pension, go getting a country home, and not caring about the words that used to build America, that our beautiful veterans follow every single day.

00:35:41.000 And by the way, 99% of cops do every single day: duty and honor.

00:35:47.000 Do they even teach that anymore?

00:35:49.000 Well, I know in our military now they're teaching transgender pronouns and they're teaching CRT and they have drag queens at Air Force bases.

00:35:58.000 That word duty and honor, what does that even mean anymore? 0.84

00:36:03.000 Remember, this is why the climax of all the stories that we hold so near and dear of Star Wars, of Lord of the Rings, of Harry Potter, the climax of those is the evil transforming to the dark side and they have to kill the innocent.

00:36:22.000 Like, remember, Star Wars Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith, you must kill the young.

00:36:27.000 It's the ultimate shift into darkness. 0.54

00:36:29.000 But it's more than that.

00:36:31.000 Evil will always try to terminate children.

00:36:34.000 The question is: will the strong allow it?

00:36:38.000 That's the question.

00:36:39.000 The Greeks, the Romans, the Chinese, Indus River Valley, the Mesopotamians, they all always have a fascination with the termination of children.

00:36:47.000 The Aztecs as well. 0.58

00:36:48.000 Civilizations that never came in contact with one another were always trying to terminate children.

00:36:54.000 The only question is not why are they trying to do that?

00:36:57.000 There's a spiritual, I believe, demonic influence to try to wipe out children.

00:37:02.000 No, no, the question is: will the good do something about it?

00:37:06.000 Will the strong use their strength for something not just a hand sanitizer and looking at their phone?

00:37:12.000 So let's broaden this.

00:37:13.000 Are we going to be looking through our phones and getting hand sanitizer when the kids in our local school district are being abused?

00:37:21.000 Are we going to say it's not my problem?

00:37:23.000 I'm just going to flip through my phone.

00:37:25.000 Are you kidding me?

00:37:26.000 Come on.

00:37:27.000 For a long time, I've crisscrossed the country and I've said we have to be very careful about being a spectator for what's happening in the country.

00:37:35.000 I can't think of a, unfortunately, tragically, a better metaphor than what we saw in Uvalde of people that had the power, the guns, the vests, the training, and they were like, it's not my problem. 0.70

00:37:48.000 It's not my kid goes to private school.

00:37:50.000 I homeschool.

00:37:51.000 It's not my kid.

00:37:52.000 I don't care.

00:37:56.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
