00:01:02.000 So the top priority of Pelosi and the House Democrats is not opening schools, opening businesses.

00:01:16.000 Instead, it's fundamentally and permanently changing the way we do elections in our country.

00:01:24.000 HR1, which is called For the People Act, this is a very good summary by Heritage Foundation because it doesn't deal with social media stuff.

00:01:35.000 It's a very, very good thing because they take money from the tech companies.

00:01:39.000 HR1 would federalize and micromanage the election process administered by the states, imposing unnecessary, unwise, and unconstitutional mandates on the states and reversing the decentralization of the American election process, which is essential to the protection of our liberty and freedom.

00:02:06.000 So let's go through it.

00:02:07.000 What is HR1?

00:02:09.000 Well, it's called HR1 because it's literally the first House resolution.

00:02:12.000 That's why.

00:02:13.000 The top priority.

00:02:15.000 So basically, according to the United States Constitution, every state is able to independently determine how they do their elections.

00:02:23.000 This is frustrating.

00:02:25.000 It's maddening.

00:02:26.000 It's constitutional.

00:02:27.000 Laboratory is a democracy.

00:02:28.000 Competitions between states.

00:02:30.000 It ensures and allows to widespread voter fraud.

00:02:35.000 That's why anyone watching here right now would say, I trust the election results out of Florida, but out of Georgia, I don't know.

00:02:45.000 Because you have Brian Kemp, who's not a good governor.

00:02:49.000 Then you have Ron DeSantis, who might be America's greatest governor.

00:02:52.000 And they have different ways that they're able to use their power and their authority to impact and institute change.

00:02:58.000 HR1 would change all of that.

00:03:00.000 HR1 would basically bring the California model of doing elections and impose it in South Dakota, impose it in Florida.

00:03:10.000 It would mandate certain measures that are so scary, so dangerous, it's hard to believe that this passed the House of Representatives.

00:03:21.000 Now, Pelosi is doing this new thing.

00:03:24.000 Nancy Pelosi, it's probably her last year as Speaker and probably her last year in the House. 0.95

00:03:37.000 This is the first time in the history of the House of Representatives that they are passing massive structural bills without ever bringing them through committee.

00:05:31.000 What this bill does is effectively upload a lot of the problems that we have with our elections in California to the national level.

00:05:38.000 It allows states to run elections without requiring voter ID.

00:05:41.000 It allows states to run elections where ballot harvesting is legal.

00:05:46.000 And the worst part of this is it allows campaigns and candidates to get federal funding for their own campaigns.

00:05:52.000 If someone donates less than $200, the federal government will match that times six so that you can stay whole as a candidate.

00:06:00.000 This is absolutely absurd.

00:06:01.000 This is not something anyone wants.

00:06:03.000 This is a problem that we've been seeing in California in many ways getting uploaded again to the national level.

00:06:09.000 I'm going to get into the public financing of elections.

00:06:12.000 I actually probably have a different view than most Republicans on it.

00:06:15.000 I don't have the AOC view, but I'm going to put that issue aside that Mike Garcia said.

00:06:20.000 But the majority of Mike Garcia's video focusing on the automatic voter registration and all the issues.

00:06:28.000 So here's the Democrats' strategy: play offense always.

00:06:34.000 Remember Solinsky's rules for radicals: keep the pressure on.

00:06:38.000 They also know that the voter integrity issue is getting more attention.

00:06:44.000 So instead of addressing it or trying to reform our elections, Democrats now want to create a permanent system in place that opens itself to widespread fraud and some would call it shenanigans.

00:07:18.000 See, there's this mythology amongst Democrats that common sense rules in an election are synonymous with voter suppression.

00:07:25.000 They make it sound like you have to go through an obstacle course to go vote.

00:07:28.000 This isn't true.

00:07:30.000 It's nonsense, and everybody knows it.

00:07:32.000 Truth is that four out of five Americans support voter ID laws.

00:07:36.000 And countless Americans have expressed concern because they receive mail-in ballots for other people addressed to their homes.

00:07:43.000 They want this fixed, and they don't want the problem to get worse.

00:07:47.000 But this bill makes elections less trustworthy, not more.

00:07:52.000 And trust is everything.

00:07:54.000 Crenshaw is exactly right.

00:07:55.000 They act as if you have to go through a Navy SEALs training course, something he would know about, to go vote.

00:08:01.000 In fact, in one of this article here, which I have a lot of problems with the Wall Street Journal's covering of this, and I'll get to that in a second, Terry Sewell from Alabama says the right to vote is under attack.

00:08:50.000 See, this is what happens when you don't allow committee markup.

00:08:54.000 Individuals, not citizens.

00:08:58.000 If you exist in the state of California, according to HR1, you'll be registered to vote.

00:09:03.000 If you're a visitor from Tokyo in New York City spending a couple weeks, you could get registered to vote.

00:09:09.000 You're an individual.

00:09:11.000 Citizens is the operative word.

00:09:14.000 But they're going to take it from state and federal databases.

00:09:18.000 For my quote, the Department of Motor Vehicles.

00:09:23.000 This is why when Republicans like Rick Perry and others started to give drivers' licenses to illegal, right?

00:09:38.000 We were warning, hey, they're going to use that database to automatically register voters eventually.

00:09:56.000 So HR1 would take all of these databases, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Center for Medicare.

00:10:24.000 HR1 would constitute a recipe for massive voter registration fraud by hackers and cyber criminals through online voter registration.

00:10:34.000 It would also require states to allow 16 and 17-year-olds to register.

00:10:40.000 Yeah, that's really what we're missing.

00:10:43.000 We're missing what's really wrong with our republic is that we don't have enough high schoolers voting.

00:10:50.000 That's the problem.

00:10:52.000 HR1 would require states to count ballots cast by voters outside of their assigned precincts.

00:10:59.000 Just vote anywhere.

00:11:01.000 We don't need accuracy.

00:11:02.000 We need volume.

00:11:04.000 The numbers are at least 13% of our federal prison population and nearly 30% of those in custody of the U.S. Marshal Service are illegal immigrants.

00:11:16.000 All told, 60,000 people in the Justice Department custody, that's just the federal system, are suspected to be illegals.

00:11:25.000 Of those, about 38,000 were held in prison, accounting for about 21% of the overall population.

00:11:32.000 And if I'm not mistaken, I'm doing the math.

00:11:34.000 If they're 21% of the entire population, that's much higher than their percentage of the population.

00:11:42.000 They are punching way above their percentage of population in the country.

00:11:46.000 Is that right?

00:11:47.000 There are no way they're 21% of the American population that way. 0.83

00:11:50.000 At most, it would be 10 if there's 30 million illegals.

00:11:55.000 83,698 illegals are in jail and 71,000 legals, legal immigrants, were incarcerated in 2018.

00:12:06.000 And that doesn't even count the damage or the crime that accompanies their act. 0.80

00:12:31.000 So you have no, it would be illegal to have a signature verification of absentee ballots.

00:12:40.000 It would force states to accept absentee ballots received up to 10 days after Election Day, as long as they are postmarked by Election Day.

00:15:41.000 It would require that South Dakota and their sovereignty and their 10th Amendment given rights, where the 10th Amendment clearly says that all rights and liberties not articulated in the first nine parts of the Bill of Rights are given to the states and then to the people.

00:15:58.000 Any third party, including campaign staffers and political consultants, can pick up and deliver absentee ballots.

00:16:04.000 H.R. 1 will prevent election officials from checking the eligibility and qualifications of voters and removing ineligible voters.

00:16:14.000 So you no longer can remove dead people, people that have moved out of the country, felons, anyone.

00:16:19.000 It would make it nearly impossible to verify who's actually on the voter rolls.

00:16:23.000 Automatic voter registration for every single individual, and then everyone gets a ballot.

00:16:28.000 And this passed in the House.

00:16:29.000 This is not some concocted theory that some professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been floating.

00:16:37.000 It's not some fringe presidential candidate who suggested this.

00:16:43.000 It's now passed the House of Representatives.

00:16:49.000 It would massively violate the First Amendment with respect to a vast range of legal activity.

00:16:57.000 It would add a provision criminalizing, quote, hindering, interfering, or preventing anyone from registering or voting, which is so unbelievably vague.

00:17:07.000 Think about how vague and broad that is.

00:17:09.000 So basically, I'm reading from Heritage's document here, it could prevent or provide information to election officials about the ineligibility of any individual, such as an applicant not being a U.S. citizen.

00:17:24.000 H.R. 1, which again is their priority number 1, House Resolution 1, it would expand regulation and government censorship of campaigns and political activity in speech, including online and policy-related speech.

00:17:42.000 It would impose onerous legal and administration state of compliance burdens and costs on candidates.

00:17:48.000 It would reduce the number of federal election commission members from six to five.

00:17:53.000 It would prohibit the state election officials from participating in federal elections.

00:17:57.000 So it will nationalize our entire election system.

00:18:02.000 And it would require states to restore the abilities of felons to vote.

00:18:07.000 It would transfer the constitutionally granted right to draw congressional districts.

00:18:14.000 And they should really rename this bill to the Boston Bomber Bill.

00:18:20.000 Because this bill would allow the Boston bomber to have a right to vote.

00:18:26.000 Now, once you've paid your debt to society and you've proven that you are not a clear and present danger and you've served your time, I'm not necessarily morally opposed to restoring the right to vote.

00:18:39.000 But if you are currently in prison, I am completely opposed to restoring current prisoners' right to vote.

00:18:49.000 There's some good arguments as to why.

00:18:51.000 Number one, people say, well, certain rights should never be taken away.

00:18:54.000 That's the whole point of prison.

00:18:56.000 Of course, some rights should be taken away.

00:18:58.000 You think that in prison you have the right to collectively organize your fellow prisoners in a protest against the warden?

00:19:07.000 You're not allowed to go outside.

00:19:08.000 You're not allowed to say certain things.

00:19:11.000 The whole idea of prison is the limitation of rights.

00:19:15.000 The whole idea of serving your debt to society is restricting your freedoms and your liberties.

00:19:25.000 But this bill would say that the Boston bomber should be allowed to vote.

00:19:31.000 This would authorize the Internal Revenue Service to engage in very partisan activities.

00:19:36.000 HR1 would permit the IRS to investigate and consider the political and policy positions of nonprofit organizations before granting them tax-exempt status, thus enabling IRS officials to target organizations engaging in First Amendment activity with disfavored views.

00:19:51.000 HR1 would limit access to federal courts for anyone challenging HR1.

00:19:55.000 Wow.

00:19:56.000 Just not only are we going to say this is the right thing, but if you dare challenge us, we're going to come after you.

00:20:02.000 The bill would prohibit the filing of any lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of HR1 anywhere except in the district court for D.C. and would allow the court to order all plaintiffs and interveners, regardless of their number, to, quote, file joint papers or be represented by a single attorney or oral argument.

00:20:21.000 It would establish a commission, keeps getting better, to protect Democrat institutions, basically creating an entire new judicial system.

00:20:32.000 It would mandate that all new congressional districts include illegal aliens in the redrawing of congressional districts. 0.65

00:20:42.000 You would have a federal law that says you must include non-citizens in your tally. 0.98

00:20:49.000 We have some sound here of them commenting on HR1 from MSNBC for the People Act. 0.75

00:20:58.000 We are seeing an avalanche of voter suppression laws coming out of Republican legislatures, not just in purple states, but in red states like Montana and like in Missouri.

00:21:11.000 What HR1 will do is set a minimum standard for everyone to have a right to vote.

00:21:17.000 It will make sure everyone has a right to cast an absolute ballot.

00:21:20.000 Everyone has a right to vote early in person.

00:21:22.000 Everyone has a right to vote on election day.

00:21:26.000 And everyone has a right to have their ballots counted.

00:21:29.000 And so it will do tremendous good there while also improving election security.

00:21:33.000 So I certainly hope Congress passes the law.

00:22:14.000 This will ensure that everyone has a right to vote early.

00:22:29.000 That somehow there is a list of people that are not allowed to vote, except it might be felons.

00:22:38.000 The way that this HR1 is being framed, Wall Street Journal, I have a lot of respect for the Wall Street Journal.

00:22:42.000 Do you know how they call it, you know what they call this bill?

00:22:44.000 The voting rights bill.

00:22:47.000 That's how they describe it.

00:22:48.000 Voting rights bill that grants illegals to potentially vote, that would automatically register everyone, that would weaponize the IRS.

00:23:09.000 I'm seeing a lot of disturbing things come out of the Wall Street Journal lately.

00:23:41.000 House Democrats were set to pass legislation last Wednesday aimed at widening voter participation and curbing the role of big donors in political contests in an attempt to muscle through expanded federal rules for elections over Republican opposition.

00:23:55.000 That is not the essence of the bill.

00:23:57.000 Thankfully, Kirsten Sinneman and Joe Manchin will probably end the future of this bill.

00:25:12.000 By the way, this would mandate the allowance of ballot harvesting and vote harvesting.

00:25:22.000 With the ever-increasing numbers of makes and models like the Pacifica, X-T5, Fiat, and Kia, it's now impossible to stock all the parts you need for your car in a traditional chain storefront.

00:29:47.000 But the Biden administration has released 108 migrants, or they call them migrants, 108 people into the interior of the United States after they tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus.

00:30:03.000 They test positive for the Chinese coronavirus after being released into the United States by Border Patrol.

00:30:08.000 They test positive and they say, have a good life. 0.93

00:30:10.000 Go infect the people of Brownsville.

00:30:19.000 So you want to stop the spread, Joe Biden?

00:30:28.000 And so this is a moment where the Democrats are advocating for two completely contradictory public policy positions.

00:30:37.000 We must do everything we possibly can to stop the spread of the Chinese coronavirus, including locking down churches, locking down restaurants, and closing schools.

00:30:46.000 Joe Biden believes in closed schools and open borders, where our children can't go to school.

00:30:51.000 But by the way, if you want your child back in school, I have a way that you could do that.

00:30:57.000 Here's how you can get your child back in school: fly to Monterey, hike with your child for 100 miles, illegally cross into the United States, leave your child unaccompanied, and then that child will be in a detention center, but he'll be back in school or she will be back in school.
